- 0:00Speaker 1: This is to the Mark Simon show.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm seventen wr.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Hey. Believe it or not, there's talk of bringing back
- 0:12Speaker 1: The Apprentice. Remember Donald Trump? The Apprentice. It started off
- 0:18Speaker 1: early two thousands, very early two thousands, and it became
- 0:23Speaker 1: a big hit and next thing you know, it ran
- 0:25Speaker 1: fourteen seasons. Fourteen seasons. It was for a long time
- 0:29Speaker 1: the number one highest rated show in television. It was
- 0:34Speaker 1: the great producer, Mark Burnett that came up with it.
- 0:37Speaker 1: He's the guy that came up with Survivor and that
- 0:40Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. And he came up with Shark Tank,
- 0:44Speaker 1: which is done in Los Angeles, and he was on
- 0:49Speaker 1: this show and we asked him about The Apprentice and
- 0:51Speaker 1: he said, the way it came about was he had
- 0:55Speaker 1: to travel. You know, Survivor he had to leave his
- 0:57Speaker 1: family go travel over all these crazy places, and then
- 1:00Speaker 1: Shark Tank had to travel out to LA He wanted
- 1:03Speaker 1: a show that would take place in New York City
- 1:05Speaker 1: so he didn't have to leave his family, so he
- 1:07Speaker 1: could be with his family. So he came up with
- 1:09Speaker 1: this idea, what's New York City. It's a lot of
- 1:11Speaker 1: big corporations, business, executive skyscrapers. So he decided it'll be
- 1:15Speaker 1: a business show. He came up with the whole concept,
- 1:19Speaker 1: a top top top business ceo. I would be looking
- 1:23Speaker 1: for an apprentice and they'd all have to audition for
- 1:25Speaker 1: a business thing. And I asked him, I said, well,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and how'd you come up with Donald Trump? He said, well,
- 1:32Speaker 1: we came up the whole concept, and then we said,
- 1:34Speaker 1: who's the most famous businessman in America? And was Donald Trump?
- 1:38Speaker 1: So he was the first choice and we couldn't believe it.
- 1:41Speaker 1: He said, yes. Now that's an important little fact there,
- 1:44Speaker 1: because you'll hear all these left wing MSNBC types, all
- 1:49Speaker 1: or New York types, always claimed that Trump was just
- 1:52Speaker 1: a reality host. Nobody knew him. It was the Apprentice,
- 1:56Speaker 1: the apprentices, and they keep making it sound like the
- 1:59Speaker 1: Apprentice adipole to him to know just the opposite. Again,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I said to Mark Burnett, what made you think of
- 2:05Speaker 1: Donald Trump? He said, well, we're looking for a businessman.
- 2:08Speaker 1: He was the most famous businessman in America. So here's
- 2:12Speaker 1: the point of all this. There's talk, now, very serious
- 2:15Speaker 1: talk of bringing back The Apprentice. Now, obviously President Trump
- 2:20Speaker 1: can't do it, although knowing him, he would do it
- 2:23Speaker 1: if he asked me he'd probably want to do it,
- 2:25Speaker 1: but he can't do It's the President United It's a
- 2:28Speaker 1: little busy right now. So Don Junior would be the businessman.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It would be The Apprentice with Donald Trump Junior. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: can't rememorize it Netflix. I think I think it's Amazon.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's Amazon. I think it either Netflix or Amazon, but
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think it's Amazon that's in talks to bring this back.
- 2:46Speaker 1: They would probably do the same exact show, do it
- 2:48Speaker 1: at Trump Tower, same setup, although that conference room that
- 2:52Speaker 1: you saw in The Apprentice wasn't the real conference room.
- 2:55Speaker 1: That was actually a TV set. The real Trump conference
- 2:58Speaker 1: room looks a lot different. It's all Win knows. It's
- 3:02Speaker 1: too tough to film in there. But it would be
- 3:05Speaker 1: Don Junior, it would be The Apprentice. It would probably
- 3:08Speaker 1: be a huge hit. And now, of course it would
- 3:10Speaker 1: drive the left absolutely nuts. Now, if somebody owns The Apprentice,
- 3:14Speaker 1: I guess it's NBC. If they were smart, they would
- 3:18Speaker 1: just put it on the air Primetime, bring the Apprentice back,
- 3:21Speaker 1: put it on. Now. Of course they hate Trump so
- 3:23Speaker 1: much they won't do that, but put it on. It
- 3:26Speaker 1: was a pretty good show. So Pete Hegsith is on
- 3:31Speaker 1: The Witness stand again. He's in hearings, congressional hearings, and
- 3:34Speaker 1: what they do. Democrats are great at this. Republicans stink
- 3:38Speaker 1: at hearings. They don't know what to do. Republicans can
- 3:41Speaker 1: hold a thousand hour hearing and there's never one second
- 3:44Speaker 1: of anything you want to run. Democrats anytime to hold
- 3:47Speaker 1: a hearing any ten minutes, there's explosive tax and vicious stuff.
- 3:52Speaker 1: It goes viral. But they had Hexaf testifying. Actually, of
- 3:56Speaker 1: course they were yelling and screaming and causing you to
- 3:58Speaker 1: going after him for every little thing.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Underground they're buried and we will watch you four steps.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And now he's trying to explain, how, well, how do
- 4:06Speaker 1: we get the nuclear material? What do you mean you're
- 4:07Speaker 1: gonna go get the nuclear material? It's it's buried underground.
- 4:11Speaker 1: But he's trying to explain it. They're already yelling at him.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Underground, they're buried, and we will watch you a four
- 4:17Speaker 2: step so we know where any nuclear material be.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Claiming my time for watching second here. We had to
- 4:24Speaker 3: start this war. You just said sixty days ago because
- 4:29Speaker 3: the nuclear weapon was an imminent threat. Now you're saying
- 4:33Speaker 3: that it was completely obliterate.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Had not given up their nuclear ambitions, and they had
- 4:37Speaker 2: a conventional.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Shield of thousands of operation midnight and we com moment
- 4:41Speaker 3: nothing of substance in the point place we were before.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's possible that Democrat is actually that stupid. More likely
- 4:53Speaker 1: he's faking being that stupid. It's pretty simple to explain.
- 4:56Speaker 1: When we did that, take out the nuclear reactors. We
- 4:59Speaker 1: come completely destroyed their nuclear reactors. That was it. It's gone.
- 5:03Speaker 1: But when you wipe out a nuclear reactor, you're going
- 5:05Speaker 1: to get some Trump calls it nuclear dust. It's some
- 5:08Speaker 1: nuclear waste that's underground. And they have also been trying
- 5:14Speaker 1: to acquire and put together some nuclear material separate from that,
- 5:20Speaker 1: and they always claim it's for commercial use power energy,
- 5:24Speaker 1: although you're an oil rich country, what do you need
- 5:26Speaker 1: nuclear energy? But when it's used for power energy commercial purposes,
- 5:30Speaker 1: the nuclear stuff is enriched to about twenty percent. When
- 5:35Speaker 1: it gets to ninety percent, it's a nuclear weapon. So apparently,
- 5:38Speaker 1: in the weeks before the war, we knew that Iraq
- 5:41Speaker 1: had enriched this stuff up to sixty percent, so it
- 5:45Speaker 1: was heading very close to weapons grade nuclear stuff. So
- 5:49Speaker 1: that's why we had act when we did. Now it's
- 5:51Speaker 1: not that complicated to figure out. We took out there.
- 5:53Speaker 1: They're huge nuclear stuff we just complete. Now that's not
- 5:58Speaker 1: to say that there's not going to be some little
- 6:00Speaker 1: nuclear materials somewhere. So the congressman just playing stupid, just
- 6:05Speaker 1: acting dumb, and they just kept going after a HEXA.
- 6:08Speaker 2: The biggest challenge, the biggest adversary we face at this
- 6:12Speaker 2: point are the reckless, feckless, and defeatist words of congressional
- 6:18Speaker 2: Democrats and some Republicans two months in, I remind you,
- 6:23Speaker 2: two months in to a conflict.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently it's one of the things that Iran is
- 6:30Speaker 1: counting on that the left, they saw this in Vietnam.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The left, the Democrats will rise up and break down
- 6:36Speaker 1: the morale and nobody will be for the war and
- 6:38Speaker 1: we'll give up that. That's what they're counting on now.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It's cost us. I think about twenty five billions so far,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and they're yelling at them about the cost.
- 6:46Speaker 2: The one point five trillion dollar f y twenty seven
- 6:48Speaker 2: budget put forward by the President will build upon the
- 6:52Speaker 2: historic one trillion dollar f y twenty six top line
- 6:56Speaker 2: and continue to reverse the four years of under and
- 7:00Speaker 2: and mismanagement of the Biden administration.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Now, let's say cost twenty five billion, it's worth it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I mean, our dream was to get rid of this
- 7:08Speaker 1: terrorist regime, the most evil regime in the world, the
- 7:13Speaker 1: most evil terrorist sponsor in the world, looking for nuclear weapons.
- 7:19Speaker 1: If you could do that for twenty five million, Hey,
- 7:20Speaker 1: it was five billion, Obama would send it over on
- 7:24Speaker 1: a pallet. But if it's twenty five billion. Also, you're
- 7:27Speaker 1: talking about, you know, killing their nuclear program. You're really
- 7:31Speaker 1: talking about stopping the next nine to eleven or if
- 7:35Speaker 1: it's nuclear, something far worse than nine to eleven, that's
- 7:37Speaker 1: certainly worth twenty five billion if we could stop If
- 7:40Speaker 1: we could have stopped nine to eleven for twenty five billion,
- 7:42Speaker 1: we certainly would have paid it. Now, of course it's
- 7:44Speaker 1: Democrats are going to yell it's a quagmire, was stuck.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Shame on you for that statement. And statements like that
- 7:49Speaker 2: are reckless to our troops. Don't say I support the
- 7:51Speaker 2: troops on one hand, and then a two month mission
- 7:54Speaker 2: is a quagmire. That's a false equivalation. Who you cheering
- 7:57Speaker 2: for here, who you're pulling for. Our troops are doing
- 8:00Speaker 2: incredible work, They've done incredible things for the entirety of
- 8:03Speaker 2: this mission and achieved incredible battlefield successes, and you sit
- 8:08Speaker 2: there and go on TV for your clickbait about quagmires.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It is kind of funny because a quagmire that started
- 8:15Speaker 1: in Vietnam where the war began in sixty three, sixty two,
- 8:20Speaker 1: early sixties, and then ten years were there, ten years
- 8:24Speaker 1: and more eleven years, that's a quagmar. This is a
- 8:28Speaker 1: couple of weeks, a few weeks, it's not even two
- 8:31Speaker 1: months yet, a quagmar. Absolutely ridiculous. Now, of course they're
- 8:35Speaker 1: going to go after eggs of these not competent And you.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Want to ask that question after you and your fellow
- 8:39Speaker 2: Democrats defended Joe Biden who could barely speak, and this
- 8:42Speaker 2: week was now auto pen. We've got a secretary of
- 8:46Speaker 2: Defense who went a wall for a week.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah, remember that Biden had that awful Defense secretary, Lloyd Austin,
- 8:54Speaker 1: who vanished a couple of times. Nobody knew where he was.
- 8:56Speaker 1: He just went a wall for a few weeks. Now
- 8:59Speaker 1: you could look at how excellent I don't know. He
- 9:01Speaker 1: doesn't look like a top guy. He looks kind of
- 9:03Speaker 1: goofy he looks, and the way he talks. He's a
- 9:06Speaker 1: little good. You could do all that, But under his
- 9:11Speaker 1: watch he has pulled off like nineteen of the most
- 9:15Speaker 1: unbelievable greatest military operations in history, from taking out those
- 9:19Speaker 1: nuclear sites in Iran to the Maduro raid, I mean,
- 9:24Speaker 1: go on and on to the opening day of the
- 9:26Speaker 1: war when they killed the entire leadership of Iran in
- 9:31Speaker 1: one shot. I mean, under his leadership, I don't know.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It looks like he knows what it doing. Doesn't look
- 9:37Speaker 1: like meantime, he's Aaron Judge. He's like setting records for
- 9:40Speaker 1: home runs. He's just hitting grand slams left and right militarily. Hey,
- 9:45Speaker 1: this crazy mom, Donnie. Now he's like a goofy college kid.
- 9:50Speaker 1: He went to one of these Ivy League and doctrination
- 9:53Speaker 1: colleges where you come out of crazy socialist And you know,
- 9:56Speaker 1: if you try to explain to them, like you know,
- 9:58Speaker 1: socialism has been tried fourteen times in every country in
- 10:02Speaker 1: the world, it never works. They don't want to hear that.
- 10:04Speaker 1: They don't care about that. They don't care if it works.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's it's just the idea of it. I love the
- 10:09Speaker 1: idea of it. Now, the grocery store thing is insane.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You talk to every major grocery store company. It costs
- 10:17Speaker 1: one million to three million to open a grocery store.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Let's say it's two million he's opening. It's not even
- 10:23Speaker 1: a real grocery store. It's just a little dump of
- 10:25Speaker 1: a room in this dumpy place up in Harlem. He's
- 10:28Speaker 1: talking about thirty million for this. The Whole Foods in
- 10:33Speaker 1: a Time Warner Center right over there, that's massive, did
- 10:36Speaker 1: not cost thirty million. The Wegmans that's coming to the
- 10:40Speaker 1: Upper West Side, it's not costing thirty million. This little
- 10:44Speaker 1: hole in the wall dump thirty millions, total waste of money.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So we got to three three and a half more
- 10:52Speaker 1: years of this guy. It's going to be one incredibly
- 10:55Speaker 1: stupid thing after another. His latest one now is Park Avenue. Picked.
- 11:00Speaker 1: That's your Park Avenue from fifty seventh Street all the
- 11:04Speaker 1: way down to forty sixth Street. Fifty seventh Street, as
- 11:07Speaker 1: you head towards forty six that's the met Life building
- 11:09Speaker 1: used to be the pan Am building. That's Park Avenue.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's all skyscrapers, it's all business. There's the JP Morgan building,
- 11:18Speaker 1: there's the Mutual of America building, It's all these skyscrapers,
- 11:22Speaker 1: Lever Building, there's the Brafman building. On the other side,
- 11:28Speaker 1: there's the Rudent building. It's just a skysheit. It's all business.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It's a business district, nothing else. And in the middle
- 11:35Speaker 1: of Park Avenue, it's very wide Park Avenue. They call
- 11:38Speaker 1: it park Avenue because in the middle is a median
- 11:40Speaker 1: that has some grass and some flowers and some trees.
- 11:43Speaker 1: It's very beautiful. So Mamdani now wants to take Park
- 11:47Speaker 1: Avenue and completely chop it up, expand the median so
- 11:52Speaker 1: it's bigger than the roads. Right now, you've got about
- 11:55Speaker 1: two three lanes on each side of Park Avenue. He
- 11:57Speaker 1: wants to cut that down to one lane each way
- 12:01Speaker 1: and have an enormous park in the middle of each block.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And he said this will be good because people can stroll,
- 12:10Speaker 1: they can sit in the park, they can have coffee there.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I mean, just this is so incredibly stupid. About three
- 12:21Speaker 1: blocks away is Central Park, one of the most spectacular
- 12:24Speaker 1: parks in the world. If you want to go be
- 12:26Speaker 1: in a park, go over there. Who the hell wants
- 12:29Speaker 1: to sit in the middle of Park Avenue and a
- 12:33Speaker 1: little patch of grass having their coffee. Now, first of all,
- 12:35Speaker 1: he's gonna cut each side down to one lane each way,
- 12:39Speaker 1: so it's going to be total gridlock. You're gonna hear
- 12:42Speaker 1: horns honking all the time. This is not the park
- 12:44Speaker 1: you want to be sitting in. It makes absolutely no sense.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's going to cost a fortune. If it's one hundred
- 12:51Speaker 1: million dollar project, he'll spend five hundred million. But it's
- 12:56Speaker 1: just absolutely crazy, insane, total waste of money. We have
- 13:02Speaker 1: to set up before Trump leaves. He's gonna have to
- 13:05Speaker 1: set up some kind of government agency, some federal task
- 13:08Speaker 1: force that if you're overpaying like crazy for something, if
- 13:12Speaker 1: you're wasting zillions of dollars of tax payer money, they
- 13:15Speaker 1: can step in and stop the project right there. So
- 13:19Speaker 1: we'll see you. Here's that. You know. It's all started
- 13:22Speaker 1: when we found that learning center in Minnesota with it's
- 13:26Speaker 1: misspelled it says leering center that was like nineteen billion
- 13:29Speaker 1: in fraud stolen money by the way. Some reporters went
- 13:33Speaker 1: to check it out. Apparently it's totally abandoned. The FBI
- 13:36Speaker 1: did a massive raid for the fraud. It's been totally abandoned.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Some reporters found some people in the neighborhood. There was
- 13:45Speaker 1: a night watchman somewhere. It's been there for many years.
- 13:48Speaker 1: He said he has never, ever, ever, once ever seen
- 13:52Speaker 1: any kid come and go out of that learning center.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Not a single child ever. Oh, there you go. And
- 14:01Speaker 1: Vice President Vance also he's running a task force to
- 14:04Speaker 1: go look at that stuff in Minnesota. And apparently Tim
- 14:07Speaker 1: Waltz in some speeches sort of trying to take credit
- 14:10Speaker 1: for uncovering this, when actually Vance pointing out it was
- 14:15Speaker 1: not Waltz. It was the report of the uncovered. It's
- 14:18Speaker 1: the federal government doing the crackdown, and Waltz has been
- 14:21Speaker 1: of absolutely no help at all on it. All right,
- 14:25Speaker 1: you didn't get invited to the state dinner for Prince
- 14:28Speaker 1: or King Charles, the King Charles state dinner, white tie
- 14:32Speaker 1: in tails. It looked quite amazing, white tie in tails,
- 14:35Speaker 1: the gold plate settings, the gold silverware, the gold trim,
- 14:41Speaker 1: the plates were absolutely magnificent. What did you miss? What
- 14:44Speaker 1: would you have eaten? Here's the menu? Now, knowing Donald Trump,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I don't think he ate one thing here. He must
- 14:50Speaker 1: have had some cheeseburg or something hidden under the table,
- 14:53Speaker 1: because the menu started with garden vegetable relute, which is
- 15:00Speaker 1: it says, a silken and aromatic soup, and again, knowing
- 15:05Speaker 1: Donald Trump, I don't think he's looking for a silken
- 15:07Speaker 1: aromatic soup. Hearts of palm salad with toasted shallots or
- 15:12Speaker 1: shalots as they say in England, and micro mint. Then
- 15:18Speaker 1: the second course was made with fresh herbs grown in
- 15:21Speaker 1: the White House Garden. You know, go to a real
- 15:25Speaker 1: gourmet market, you get better fresh herbs. White House Garden.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I don't think we grow the best fresh rbs. But
- 15:30Speaker 1: it was a ravioli with ricotta and morel mushrooms. Okay,
- 15:34Speaker 1: that's passable. Third course dover soul moniere with spring ramps,
- 15:41Speaker 1: snow peas, pove potatoes, and parsley oil. Again, I guarantee
- 15:46Speaker 1: that Donald Trump had a cheeseburger or a club sandwich
- 15:49Speaker 1: hidden under the table. Dessert was a beehive shaped chocolate
- 15:55Speaker 1: gatteau filled with vanilla bean crimw whatever the hell that is,
- 16:00Speaker 1: an almond sponge, along with crim fresh ice cream and
- 16:05Speaker 1: White House honey. I guarantee you Donald Trump had a
- 16:08Speaker 1: cheeseburger and a big slice of chocolate cake hidden under
- 16:12Speaker 1: the table and was actually eating that. Anyway, We'll take
- 16:15Speaker 1: some calls next eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 16:19Speaker 1: ten is the number eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:23Speaker 1: seven ten
