  [SPEAKER_00]: Press Taylor's no longer in Jacksonville, but we do have two former Sean McVay offensive coordinators as head coaches, Zack Taylor for the Bingo's Liam Cohen for the Jacksonville Jaguar's two former number one picks at quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow ever heard of him and for the second straight week a battle of the big cats.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jack Wars would Trevor Lawrence are O and 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and Lawrence is O and 3 going head to head with Joe Burro going back to the college football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's offense did get off to an impressive start in the Liam Cohen era, putting up over 200 yards on the ground, Travis E. T. and Ryan Wild last week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Over 140 yards, had a 71-yard scamper, even you take away the 71-yard run, Travis ETN, average 4.8 yards per carry, made a lot of guys miss.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and he also had an impact in the passing game, and you saw a couple of young runners, do well enough for the Jaguars to decide to move on from Tank Biggsby pick up a couple of day three picks in the process, and now you're going to see more Basial Tutan, more Lee Quint Allen in this upcoming game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is also scored 26 points in this first game of the season against the Carolina Panthers in week one, and they didn't give up a sack now, and not giving up a sack.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They did have several holding penalties, but you would rather have the 10-yard penalty.

  [SPEAKER_00]: then get your quarterback killed in the backfield.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Still not allowing a sack and not allowing a whole lot of pressure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And week one was a very good start for the Jaguar's offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's offensive coordinator is not their play collar.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The defense did their part two for the Jaguar.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Almost half the teams total from the entire 2024 campaign.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Three turnovers force for the Jaguar, as I think they only forced eight or nine last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Bengals, they're also one and out, hard fought victory over division rival, the Cleveland Browns, the Browns always bring a tough, aggressive, talented defense to the table.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they did have Joe Flacco back there once again for the second go around with the Browns as they're starting quarterback.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Burrow, Chase, Higgins, Chase Brown, and all the Ancillary pieces you talk about Noah Fant, Mike Giusekki, some of the other backup receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These comprise one of the most dangerous and talented offenses in the NFL, bar none.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Joe Burrow, a top three quarterback in the league right now may be top four at worst.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jamar Chase, one of the top two receivers in football, T-Higgins, probably the best wide receiver to in football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Chase Brown is a really nice addition to this offense over the last couple of years at running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He provides speed, quickness, and he has a multi-fasted game really as a,

  [SPEAKER_00]: a really good pass catcher out of the backfield and a strong runner too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So they've got a lot of talent for the Jaguars to have to deal with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have a lot of experience together in this system, especially Joe Burro, Jamar Chase, T. Higgins.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence has some experience with T. Higgins as well, but they'll be on opposite sides in this one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And we didn't know exactly what the Jaguar's defense would look like heading in to week one of the regular season because we hadn't seen Anthony Campany like call plays on defense for an NFL team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: guys like Brian Flores, Vic Fangeo, a lot of different influences, how was it going to come together?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think you saw a lot of Brian Flores influence from Anthony Campanile and his first game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You didn't know where pressures were coming from, you'd show pressure on one side, drop all that pressure out, have guys coming from the other side and you also saw plenty of

  [SPEAKER_00]: changing of the picture on the back end and coverage post snap.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it was a creative confusing defense in week one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Will it continue to look that way in week two against a much more talented opponent?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't necessarily say the Bengals are a more complex opponent from a scheme standpoint on the offensive side of the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They don't need to be when they have stars like Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, anti-higgins.

  [SPEAKER_00]: On defense for the Bengals, Tray Hendrickson is back in the building and he leads the way rookie Edg Schermar Stewart had an impressive debut as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: past deflections at the line of scrimmage so they have a disruptive group of their own on the defensive side of the ball at edge and new defensive coordinator algal is in his first year as the bingles DC and his first year in the NFL as a defensive coordinator period.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's been a position coach in the NFL before has never called games at this level until last week and they looked pretty buttoned up against the Brown's offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But again, maybe they feel they have the talent upfront with Shamar Stewart and Trey Hendricks in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And at Lionbacker with Logan Wilson and rookie Dimitrius night, who they spent a pretty penny on in the draft this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Both hardheaders who play very fast at the second level on the back end, you have DJ Turner and Dax Hill to former Michigan men.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They appear to be hitting their stride in the NFL.

  [SPEAKER_00]: was tasked with simplifying the defense a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They moved on from Luana Rumo.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're a long time defense of coordinator in the off season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was a great game-plan defense of coordinator.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There were some complex ideas, week to week, that maybe some of the younger Bengals back-end players struggled with, quite frankly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's an interesting kind of foil.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Bringing in Al Golden wants his guys to just play faster, play smarter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to be a completely vanilla defense, but you're not going to see as much week to week game planning in my opinion from an Al Golden defense as you are, a Lou and Arumo defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Penalties could be a major factor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As the Jaguars racked up almost 100 penalty yards and had double digit penalties in week one, while the Bengals had just over 30 penalty yards themselves.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So if the Jaguars cannot get out of their own way, especially on the offensive side of the ball, it could be difficult to get points against this Bengals difference.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Playing on the road against an AFC North foe is never an easy task.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence is looking for his first win against Joe Burrow at any level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In order to get that win, the Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Connection is going to have to heat up on Sunday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These two struggled with their chemistry in week one against the Panthers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: finished with just one catch on seven targets.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He did find the end zone on a reverse.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that was good confidence boost for Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But for the jag war is all season to reach their peak to reach their ceiling.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Lawrence and Thomas have got to get it going and they got to get it going in week two against the Cincinnati Bengals.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the Jaguars are going to win this football game, you may also need to see more Travis Hunter on the defensive side of the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the Jaguars are going to stop this high powered Cincinnati Bengals offense, they could need to see Travis Hunter take more snap to quarterback.
