- 0:22Speaker 1: also back on x formally known as Twitter if that
- 0:25Speaker 1: matters to you, a man on that platform as well.
- 0:27Speaker 1: So we're here, We're back in the studio. It's good
- 0:30Speaker 1: to have you, a man. I'm blessed to be a
- 0:33Speaker 1: part of your routine, your morning day, your start of
- 0:36Speaker 1: the day, the end of the day, the middle of
- 0:38Speaker 1: the day. Amen. Whenever you get a chance, if you're
- 0:40Speaker 1: not live with us right now, whenever you get a
- 0:43Speaker 1: chance to be inspired by the word of God a man,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and to get into what God wants to put in
- 0:49Speaker 1: the Amen. And that's the Word of God. So you
- 0:52Speaker 1: can live a life in abundant, in abundance, a life
- 0:56Speaker 1: of abundance. So today I have a question that true story.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I know a brother in Christ who started to lead
- 1:06Speaker 1: a church a man recently, and the church that he led,
- 1:12Speaker 1: he realized or he found out during a meeting when
- 1:16Speaker 1: he offered him to be the pastor of the church.
- 1:18Speaker 1: During a meeting, the leadership told them to kind of
- 1:21Speaker 1: like not talk about what we're going to talk about today,
- 1:24Speaker 1: the sin word si n sin. They hadn't preached about
- 1:29Speaker 1: it for over a decade in this church. The obvious
- 1:34Speaker 1: question was like, if you haven't preached about sin or
- 1:38Speaker 1: talked about sin during a preaching, what were you preaching?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Then right, it's not the Gospel if it doesn't include
- 1:47Speaker 1: the problem of sin, because the problem of sin was
- 1:51Speaker 1: resolved by the good News of the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 1:54Speaker 1: by the Lord himself. A man, brother Orlando, God bless you,
- 1:57Speaker 1: my bro. Long time, no hear no, Amen, God bless you,
- 2:01Speaker 1: miss you, my bro. Thank you for coming through to
- 2:03Speaker 1: the morning devo. Good morning to you, and God bless you,
- 2:05Speaker 1: my bro, my friend. So the question is what is sin?
- 2:11Speaker 1: That three letter word that a lot of people want
- 2:15Speaker 1: to avoid. They try to avoid, but according to the scriptures,
- 2:18Speaker 1: it's impossible to avoid. It's all up in there. Amen.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And the solution to the sin problem sin itself. What
- 2:28Speaker 1: is it? A man said, We're going to get into
- 2:30Speaker 1: it real quick. I can't take a deep dive because
- 2:32Speaker 1: this is a morning devo, so you get to get
- 2:34Speaker 1: a little bite sized idea about at least what I've learned, Amen,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and the short time that I've been with the Lord
- 2:42Speaker 1: compared to eternity, it's been like a breath that I
- 2:46Speaker 1: have been with the Lord, Amen since two thousand and one.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Sin is not just doing bad things. First and foremost,
- 2:54Speaker 1: while I'm doing bad things, that means I'm sinning. It's
- 2:56Speaker 1: not just doing bad things. It's a rebellion against God's
- 3:01Speaker 1: holiness and authority. Is that serious? You know? People are
- 3:06Speaker 1: like to have this attitude like, oh, I just did
- 3:09Speaker 1: a little dirt, or I just you know, dial a
- 3:11Speaker 1: little bit of this, a little bit of that. God's
- 3:14Speaker 1: looking at it. Well, you're rebellion against me. I'm holy
- 3:17Speaker 1: and God doesn't dwell in sin. So it's a rebellion
- 3:21Speaker 1: against God's holiness and authority. Sin creates a deep divide
- 3:27Speaker 1: that no human effort can cross. In other words, there's
- 3:32Speaker 1: no way that I could fix the issue of sin.
- 3:35Speaker 1: There's no way that you could fix the issue of sin.
- 3:37Speaker 1: So we have to go to the person who fixed
- 3:41Speaker 1: it right, who made a bridge between man and God,
- 3:48Speaker 1: a way out a way of escape a man. He
- 3:51Speaker 1: resolved sin once and for all, and that was the
- 3:54Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ. Were gonna be in an old covenant,
- 3:56Speaker 1: old Testament, Isaiah the Prophet, chapter fifty nine, Verse number two,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Isaiah fifty nine and two. We're gonna see how this
- 4:03Speaker 1: old whole thing unfolds, not the whole thing, a man,
- 4:07Speaker 1: a little bit of it. Because sin, if you look
- 4:09Speaker 1: at it, if you look up sin in the scriptures,
- 4:12Speaker 1: you get to see a whole lot of scriptures, a
- 4:14Speaker 1: whole lot of situations. And people who were, I would say,
- 4:20Speaker 1: trapped in it. Amen, they stepped on the glue trap
- 4:25Speaker 1: of sin. Sin to me is like one of those
- 4:27Speaker 1: glue traps that you put out in your kitchen to
- 4:30Speaker 1: try to catch a mouse. Once you step in it,
- 4:33Speaker 1: it's like almost impossible, almost impossible to escape, Amen, without
- 4:38Speaker 1: leaving something behind, without leaving a piece of hair, a finger,
- 4:45Speaker 1: a foot, amen of a mouse behind. So the Bible
- 4:50Speaker 1: is clear that sin is rebellion against a holy God.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Genesis chapter three backste up and confirms that. So if
- 5:01Speaker 1: you have any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything
- 5:05Speaker 1: along those lines, please, by no means, don't hesitate to
- 5:09Speaker 1: leave it on a live chat. Don't be afraid, Amen.
- 5:12Speaker 1: There's no debating here, no arguing here. Amen. That's just
- 5:15Speaker 1: sharing here, Amen, a lot of love, a lot of sharing,
- 5:18Speaker 1: a lot of caring, Amen, a lot of prayer, and
- 5:20Speaker 1: a lot of word. If it's not the word that
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm speaking of, just change the channel. Amen. You don't
- 5:26Speaker 1: want to hear a whole morning devotion of my opinions.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You don't want to hear home morning devotions of what
- 5:32Speaker 1: I think. We want to get into the Word of God.
- 5:35Speaker 1: So that way we could change out with thinking according
- 5:37Speaker 1: to the Word, not according to the world or according
- 5:40Speaker 1: to me, or according to a preacher, evangelist, a prophet,
- 5:44Speaker 1: an apostle, or teacher. Amen. If it's not the word,
- 5:48Speaker 1: then what are we doing. I don't want to waste
- 5:51Speaker 1: your time, and you know I'm not wasting nobody's time.
- 5:54Speaker 1: God doesn't waste that time either. So what is sin?
- 5:58Speaker 1: That's today's topic on the morning devo the question? Amen,
- 6:01Speaker 1: If you want to go ahead and answer that according
- 6:03Speaker 1: to your words, you can get ahead and use a
- 6:05Speaker 1: live chat for that. We're gonna pray first. After we pray,
- 6:08Speaker 1: we'll shut us out for like sixty seconds. Just help
- 6:10Speaker 1: me shut this out. And then when we come back
- 6:12Speaker 1: on the other side of those sixty seconds, we're going
- 6:15Speaker 1: to dive into Isaiah chapter fifty nine and verse number two.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Sister Joanne, I see you. Good morning, God, bless you.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Welcome back to the morning deep with my sister, my friend. Amen.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So let's pray. Father. I thank you that you have
- 6:27Speaker 1: settled the issue of sin once for all when you
- 6:31Speaker 1: died on the cross, because you didn't stay in the grave.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You rose again on the third day, declaring and showing
- 6:42Speaker 1: the whole universe and proving to every single person that
- 6:46Speaker 1: you are above sin, that you are above death, that
- 6:51Speaker 1: you have the keys of life in your hands. I
- 6:55Speaker 1: thank you, Lot God for loving us so much that
- 6:59Speaker 1: you sent your in the form of a man, Jesus,
- 7:02Speaker 1: to live a sinless life right then to die on
- 7:07Speaker 1: a rugged cross, and three days later prove that you
- 7:11Speaker 1: are God by raising yourself from the grave. Thank you,
- 7:15Speaker 1: Lord God for the victorious ways of your word. Thank you,
- 7:19Speaker 1: Lord God for allowing us to observe what you have
- 7:22Speaker 1: done in the past, which is your resume of what
- 7:24Speaker 1: you can do for us right now and in the future.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Thank you for all your promises. Lord, I pray a
- 7:29Speaker 1: hedge of protection over us physically, emotionally and spiritually in
- 7:35Speaker 1: a powerful name of Jesus. I pray that over myself,
- 7:37Speaker 1: my wife, our children, our grandchildren, every single person on
- 7:42Speaker 1: the other side of the screen representing their families as well,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and on the other side of this mic, I pray peace.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I pray Lord God, that you will help us understand
- 7:52Speaker 1: what sin is according to your definition, according to your word,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and you gave us examples all throughout your word. Thank you,
- 8:00Speaker 1: Lord God for your forgiveness of it all. And I
- 8:03Speaker 1: thank you, Lord God that we're positioned for a blessing
- 8:06Speaker 1: today as we dive into your word through your prophet
- 8:09Speaker 1: Isaiah and Jesus Holy Name. I prayer is by faith
- 8:13Speaker 1: and for all those who agree with the prayer, we
- 8:14Speaker 1: say Amen to the Amen, which is the Lord himself.
- 8:18Speaker 1: So help me share this out. Sixty seconds count down.
- 8:21Speaker 1: We'll share this out. When we get back to it,
- 8:23Speaker 1: we'll be in a scripture. I'll be right back. A
- 9:51Speaker 1: lot of groups, not a lot of time, but Amen.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Thank you Jesus for connecting me with groups that allowed
- 9:56Speaker 1: us to go through on their group pages as well.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Thank you for everybody who's Thank you for everybody who
- 10:01Speaker 1: comes to visit the website if you're interested. The apps
- 10:04Speaker 1: for Celebrated Network are live both on iOS, Apple phones
- 10:09Speaker 1: and Android devices. Go ahead to the stores corresponding to
- 10:13Speaker 1: your devices, Amen, and look up sell out radio networks,
- 10:17Speaker 1: sell out radio Network. Amen. And the apps are available
- 10:20Speaker 1: so that way you can have that app on your
- 10:21Speaker 1: phone and you could take this anywhere you want to go. Man. Amen,
- 10:26Speaker 1: So listen, let's get into it. Time is running out here.
- 10:29Speaker 1: What is sin? Is the question that you have to
- 10:32Speaker 1: our people who call themselves Christians and follow Christ. They
- 10:35Speaker 1: don't want to deal with this question because I think
- 10:38Speaker 1: it deals with change. Right. If Jesus told some people
- 10:43Speaker 1: in the scriptures, go and sin no more, that means
- 10:48Speaker 1: what are he's saying? Go and whatever you were doing
- 10:52Speaker 1: that you got forgiven for, don't do it any more,
- 10:54Speaker 1: because now you have the power to not do it anymore.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Jesus clears you from the sin that it cleared you
- 11:01Speaker 1: and me from the sin. That that means we don't
- 11:03Speaker 1: owe sin anything anymore. Amen, or we could live debt
- 11:07Speaker 1: free from sin. Amen. Now I'm not saying because you could.
- 11:12Speaker 1: AI is gonna be a dangerous thing. Man. You could
- 11:15Speaker 1: take this image, my voice, everything and just recreate what
- 11:19Speaker 1: I just said. So be prayed up, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Truth could be changed in the way of AI, not
- 11:30Speaker 1: truth in its absolute way, just truth on social media,
- 11:34Speaker 1: truth on video, through videos, through audio can be changed,
- 11:38Speaker 1: like what I just said could be changed. So I
- 11:41Speaker 1: just want to put that out there because I've seen
- 11:43Speaker 1: some videos that you look at them, you look at
- 11:47Speaker 1: the people in the videos, even people who are not
- 11:49Speaker 1: even alive anymore, and you're looking and AI is dangerous,
- 11:55Speaker 1: showing things that have never happened, but it's making people
- 11:59Speaker 1: believe that it really did. This question will remain whether
- 12:04Speaker 1: AI is here or not. What is sin? Amen? This
- 12:08Speaker 1: is an ancient question that has today's answer. Amen. If
- 12:16Speaker 1: that makes any sense, Let's go for it. Let me
- 12:18Speaker 1: put this on the screen for those who are watching,
- 12:20Speaker 1: for those who are just listening, no worries, no problem.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I'm going to read this word for word. I try
- 12:25Speaker 1: to put the eerious graphic on the screen. Amen. Being
- 12:30Speaker 1: that we're in the the Halloween season, for those who
- 12:35Speaker 1: are with Halloween celebration and all that stuff, this is
- 12:40Speaker 1: how ugly and my estimation, sin is when you look
- 12:43Speaker 1: at it for what it really is. And if you're
- 12:45Speaker 1: looking at the graphic, Amen, I made sure I made
- 12:49Speaker 1: it ugly. Amen. So this is the graphic I chose.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Sister Joyce, I see you. Good morning, God, bless you,
- 12:56Speaker 1: welcome back to the morning. Devote my system, my friend.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Thank you for your blessed over the group in Jesus' name.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Really grateful for that, my sister, a man. So listen.
- 13:06Speaker 1: The Prophet Isaiah in chapter fifty nine, verse two says this,
- 13:11Speaker 1: but your wackedness has separated you from your God, and
- 13:18Speaker 1: your sins plural have hidden his face from you so
- 13:24Speaker 1: that he does not hear. What horror that would be
- 13:31Speaker 1: if God didn't hear me anymore, or if God didn't
- 13:34Speaker 1: hear you anymore, or if that God hid his face
- 13:38Speaker 1: from us. Why because of our wickedness, our sin, ladies
- 13:44Speaker 1: and gentlemen, separates us from a relationship with a holy God. Right.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And this is the Prophet Isaiah and the old Covenant
- 13:53Speaker 1: before Jesus stepped on a scene in the physical. Because
- 13:58Speaker 1: Jesus always has been and always was, There's never a
- 14:02Speaker 1: time that Jesus was not a man. But according to
- 14:05Speaker 1: the chronological scriptures, right, if we look at it historically
- 14:10Speaker 1: at that point, and Jesus wasn't on his earthly ministry.
- 14:14Speaker 1: So the prophet Isaiah saying, this is what separates us
- 14:18Speaker 1: from a holy God. Our wickedness, our iniquities, our sins,
- 14:23Speaker 1: our rebellion a man separates us from a holy God.
- 14:29Speaker 1: That should be terrif for anybody who cares about eternity,
- 14:33Speaker 1: the people who are in the back, who just think
- 14:35Speaker 1: it's all about now here and now and then when
- 14:38Speaker 1: you pass on, you just go to the ground and
- 14:40Speaker 1: that's it, and this doesn't matter to you. Right, you
- 14:43Speaker 1: have no hope. There's no hope for a person who
- 14:45Speaker 1: is godless. There's no hope for a person who is
- 14:48Speaker 1: without Christ. There's no hope for a person who is
- 14:50Speaker 1: not forgiven of their sin. The only hope we have
- 14:54Speaker 1: is the hope that God placed in us by way
- 14:56Speaker 1: of his Holy Spirit, through the forgiveness, the shed blood
- 14:59Speaker 1: of the life Jesus, the forgiveness of the Lord. And
- 15:02Speaker 1: now we have Holy Spirit God living inside of us,
- 15:04Speaker 1: which is actually the hope of glory on this side
- 15:07Speaker 1: of eternity for all the earth. Right, that's why there's
- 15:12Speaker 1: a lot of pushback on Christianity or on Christians by
- 15:16Speaker 1: the enemy, because he knows that we have the goods
- 15:19Speaker 1: and men, and he knows that we have the truth,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and he knows that we know the way and the life,
- 15:24Speaker 1: that we know Jesus, and that Jesus, his gospel, his
- 15:28Speaker 1: message will set the captives free from the bondage of sin.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So sin separates let's get that straight. Because a lot
- 15:38Speaker 1: of people don't want to talk about what separates us
- 15:41Speaker 1: from a holy God, which is a shame. Because people
- 15:44Speaker 1: are trapped in sin and they want to know, how
- 15:47Speaker 1: do you get out? And if you have the answer,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and I have the answer, we have the word. We
- 15:51Speaker 1: have the living Word of God is the answer. We
- 15:54Speaker 1: can introduce people who are trapped in iniquity, sin, all
- 15:58Speaker 1: kind of stuff going on in life, and we're just
- 16:00Speaker 1: going to pass them by without telling them the truth.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's not loving. So a congregation, like I said earlier
- 16:07Speaker 1: in the opener that I know about that hadn't spoken
- 16:11Speaker 1: about sin or their preacher never preached about sin for
- 16:14Speaker 1: over a decade, that's not love. Man. That's actually I
- 16:19Speaker 1: don't know what that is. It's not the Gospel. And
- 16:21Speaker 1: man You can't have the Gospel without bad news, the
- 16:24Speaker 1: good news of Christ, because it's good. That implies that
- 16:30Speaker 1: there's something bad. Right within the Gospel. There is something bad.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It's called sin, separation from God. Sin is not just
- 16:39Speaker 1: doing bad things. Like I said earlier, separation from a
- 16:44Speaker 1: holy God. Our rebellion separates us from a holy God.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You know what that does, at least the spiritual death,
- 16:53Speaker 1: because without the spirit of God in us, we just
- 16:56Speaker 1: existing on this planet. You realize the cutest baby who
- 17:00Speaker 1: is born today because I know there's a baby born
- 17:02Speaker 1: today somewhere in the world, somewhere in America, in the world,
- 17:07Speaker 1: there's a baby born today, very cute. Amen, That precious
- 17:10Speaker 1: baby right is now born into a sin full world.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And that baby is born a sinner. Not because God says, okay,
- 17:24Speaker 1: a'ty MENI miny moe. This baby is not a sinner.
- 17:26Speaker 1: This baby's a sinner. No, it's because of the fallen world,
- 17:30Speaker 1: the fall of man. Genesis chapter three introduced a separation.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Have you noticed that if you ever read the Book
- 17:37Speaker 1: of Genesis chapter one, chapter two, beautiful, chapter three, the fall, well,
- 17:42Speaker 1: what was happening? Well, everything was perfect in a perfect garden,
- 17:46Speaker 1: perfect environment. Amn, husband and wife, Adam and Eve walking naked,
- 17:53Speaker 1: and you know we're not ashamed of that. Until there
- 17:58Speaker 1: was a line Serpent speaking to Eve and lying to
- 18:04Speaker 1: her about what God said about the forbidden fruit. So
- 18:10Speaker 1: because of the lie and the deception, that Eve, you know,
- 18:15Speaker 1: kind of like understood as truth to be true and
- 18:19Speaker 1: gave it to Adam, the forbidden fruit. Because of that disobedience,
- 18:27Speaker 1: it caused sin, sickness, death, and what we're having now,
- 18:31Speaker 1: what we're experiencing now, that was the first atom who failed.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But the last atom, the Lord Jesus Christ right settled
- 18:38Speaker 1: the score, settled the issue. That's why the Bible says
- 18:42Speaker 1: in John chapter three, verse number three. I think it
- 18:45Speaker 1: says you must be born again. We must be born
- 18:48Speaker 1: again to inherit the kingdom of God. So we're born intocent.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Even that cute little baby is born intocin amen. So
- 18:56Speaker 1: when that baby low willing gets old enough, that baby
- 19:00Speaker 1: will be taught the ways of the Lord right in
- 19:02Speaker 1: the perfect family and a good family if they know
- 19:06Speaker 1: the truth, and they would come to a point where like, wait,
- 19:09Speaker 1: I need to be forgiven for these sins that I've committed,
- 19:13Speaker 1: and they go to the Lord who forgives and would
- 19:16Speaker 1: never turn anybody way, the Bible says, and from that
- 19:19Speaker 1: point on you'll be born again. So sin is serious,
- 19:23Speaker 1: according to the Gospel, according to the scriptures, according to
- 19:27Speaker 1: the prophets. Why why sin so deadly? Well, because when
- 19:34Speaker 1: you're a sinner, you are actually working for a sinful system,
- 19:40Speaker 1: in a sinful system, under a lying boss, which is
- 19:44Speaker 1: the devil. And the Bible says in Romans, chapter sixth,
- 19:48Speaker 1: verse number twenty three, for the wages, the payment of
- 19:53Speaker 1: sin is death. So why would anybody want to work
- 20:00Speaker 1: for death penalty or a death sentence? Right? Well, I did.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I don't know about you. Before Christ, that's what I
- 20:08Speaker 1: was doing. I was a professional sinner working for aligning
- 20:13Speaker 1: system and aligned boss. Was it fun in a certain way?
- 20:19Speaker 1: I guess it was because everybody else was doing it
- 20:21Speaker 1: in my circle. So we were sinning and we were
- 20:25Speaker 1: getting paid paycheck of death. That's literally what's happening for
- 20:33Speaker 1: people who are without Christ. That's literally happening for people
- 20:37Speaker 1: who are blinded by the devil, the world system, and
- 20:41Speaker 1: their own evil, fleshly desires. Then the light of the world,
- 20:46Speaker 1: Christ Jesus appeared right and took the penalty of that
- 20:53Speaker 1: sin debt upon himself willingly and made away for us
- 20:58Speaker 1: to be set free from that sin debt. Incredible. There's
- 21:03Speaker 1: no other God like my God. There's no other Lord
- 21:06Speaker 1: like Jesus. Amen, He's the Lord of lords, the King
- 21:10Speaker 1: of kings. Since the Joyce says, Amen, sin steals, kills
- 21:15Speaker 1: and destroyers keeps you from faith in God. Yeah, so
- 21:19Speaker 1: we know that now. Thank you, sister Joyce for that comment,
- 21:23Speaker 1: because that's true. It steals, kills and destroyers. That's the
- 21:29Speaker 1: work of the enemy. That's the work that the devil
- 21:32Speaker 1: is doing on a day to day basis. And I
- 21:34Speaker 1: don't think he takes any days off, no vacation time
- 21:37Speaker 1: for the devil. He's on a relentless mission to kill, steal,
- 21:45Speaker 1: destroy as many people as he can. That's why the
- 21:53Speaker 1: Gospel has urgency all up in it. If you look
- 21:56Speaker 1: at Jesus his life when he came and started preaching
- 21:59Speaker 1: at the age Amen, the first sermon or the first
- 22:04Speaker 1: speech or the first preaching that he did was about repentance.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It wasn't about, Hey, let's go play a game of
- 22:11Speaker 1: softball and we'll talk to the disciples and we'll have
- 22:14Speaker 1: a debate afterwards. No, he said, repent for the kingdom
- 22:17Speaker 1: of God. The kingdom of heaven is near. So when
- 22:21Speaker 1: you hear preachers telling the congregations to repent, they're actually
- 22:25Speaker 1: following the ways of the Lord. Amen, repentance, turning from
- 22:30Speaker 1: your wickedness that we saw in the book of Isaiah,
- 22:34Speaker 1: chapter fifty nine, verse two, that says, our wickedness separates
- 22:38Speaker 1: us from a holy God. Amen. So when we repent,
- 22:42Speaker 1: we're turning away from the wickedness the sin a man
- 22:45Speaker 1: and turning to the righteousness of the Lord Jesus. That's
- 22:49Speaker 1: true repentance, according to how the Bible describes it. So
- 22:54Speaker 1: my let me own this. My iniquities separated me from
- 22:59Speaker 1: my God. My sins because of my sins, God was
- 23:06Speaker 1: hiding his face from me Isaiah fifty nine and two.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Personalize the scriptures. Amen, it hits differently, right. That's why
- 23:14Speaker 1: the Gospels urgent people without Christ. Listen closely. People without
- 23:20Speaker 1: Christ are not just unfulfilled people, right. They're never going
- 23:25Speaker 1: to be satisfied. They are spiritually dead and facing judgment
- 23:31Speaker 1: unless they receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
- 23:38Speaker 1: We're not supposed to be judging right, well, judgment is coming, Amen.
- 23:43Speaker 1: And without Christ in your life and in my life, Amen,
- 23:47Speaker 1: we're still under the wrath of God. So I don't
- 23:51Speaker 1: know how us to explain it. But listen, there's bad
- 23:55Speaker 1: news for those who are without the good news for
- 24:00Speaker 1: those who don't receive the good news of the Gospel
- 24:02Speaker 1: of the Lord Jesus Christ. The bad news is that
- 24:05Speaker 1: when you do everything you want to do in this world.
- 24:07Speaker 1: That's why the Bible says, what does the profit a
- 24:10Speaker 1: man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Because remember the wages of sin, sex, drugs, violence, premattural sex,
- 24:20Speaker 1: gender identification issues, all kinds of stuff. Killing excuse me, murder,
- 24:28Speaker 1: not killing, because if killing was a sin, then we
- 24:30Speaker 1: won't have nothing to eat because we have to kill animals,
- 24:32Speaker 1: we kill plants and all that stuff. So it's murder
- 24:35Speaker 1: actually is the issue when it comes to disobeying God's commandments.
- 24:40Speaker 1: But you know what I mean, Sin, all that sin
- 24:43Speaker 1: that the Bible literally honestly says that sin is pleasurable
- 24:49Speaker 1: for a season, not for eternity for a season, because
- 24:52Speaker 1: what does it do that actually satisfies the flesh or
- 24:58Speaker 1: it pleases the flesh for the moment. But when the
- 25:01Speaker 1: results or when the consequences of that type of life,
- 25:06Speaker 1: when the consequences come because of that type of life,
- 25:09Speaker 1: it'll bring sin, brings death through sickness, disease, mental issue, witchcraft, rebellion,
- 25:17Speaker 1: which is a former witchcraft, manipulation, which is a former witchcraft.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Jesus shows up. He knows what he's here for. He
- 25:27Speaker 1: knows his mission. He sees the world, He sees the
- 25:31Speaker 1: people who, by the way the Bible says, Jesus went
- 25:36Speaker 1: to his own people, and his own people rejecting him
- 25:39Speaker 1: a man, I'm paraphrasing. Well, Jesus shows up regardless. He
- 25:45Speaker 1: knows his mission, he knows the condition of men's heart,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and he shows up on a mission. Jesus shows up
- 25:53Speaker 1: in the world that promotes many paths to truth. Because
- 25:58Speaker 1: even in Jesus stated, people were saying there's different ways
- 26:03Speaker 1: that you could get to the truth. But Jesus, in
- 26:07Speaker 1: his bold declaration that no one has ever been able
- 26:12Speaker 1: to refute or to say he didn't say it, or
- 26:17Speaker 1: this fight here is God's statement. John fourteen six, Jesus said,
- 26:21Speaker 1: I am the Way, the truth and the life, not
- 26:25Speaker 1: the lights A lot of people will say, lights I
- 26:27Speaker 1: am the Way, the Truth, and the life. No one
- 26:32Speaker 1: comes to the Father except through me. This means twenty seconds,
- 26:38Speaker 1: there is no salvation through religion. There's no salvation through
- 26:43Speaker 1: good works or self improvement, which means there is no
- 26:47Speaker 1: other name on the heaven which people can be saved.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Acts four and twelve. The Bible says salvation is found
- 26:57Speaker 1: in no one else but the Lord Jesus. And this
- 27:00Speaker 1: is true today. It was true, then, it's true, now,
- 27:02Speaker 1: it's true forevermore so, this truth, even though it sounds
- 27:07Speaker 1: exclusive because it is exclusive, because truth by definition, by
- 27:10Speaker 1: its plain definition, is exclusive, but it's actually inclusive because
- 27:16Speaker 1: why Jesus offers salvation to everyone who believes, regardless of
- 27:22Speaker 1: their background, regardless of their past, or regardless of their status. Man.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So this is the gospel message dealing with the bad
- 27:31Speaker 1: news that we get to the good news. Amen of
- 27:34Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope that helps you out.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I know it's a big question of what is saying.
- 27:38Speaker 1: It's a big question for a morning devo. I can't
- 27:41Speaker 1: get totally into it. There's a lot more to say
- 27:43Speaker 1: about it. Amen. Go to Isaiah chapter fifty nine. We
- 27:46Speaker 1: wear a verse number two, but take time read Isaiah
- 27:49Speaker 1: fifty nine the whole chapter so you could get the
- 27:51Speaker 1: context of why the statement was brought up by the prophet. Amen.
- 27:55Speaker 1: So thank you so much for hanging out with me
- 27:57Speaker 1: for these morning DeVos. I hope and pray that you
- 28:00Speaker 1: continue to read the Word for yourself. Get the revelation
- 28:03Speaker 1: of who Jesus is. If you're not saved, what are
- 28:04Speaker 1: you're waiting for? Admit that you're a sinner and asking
- 28:07Speaker 1: Jesus forgive you for those sins. Believe in his word
- 28:10Speaker 1: and believe in the Word over your life. Amen, and
- 28:13Speaker 1: then confess the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord
- 28:16Speaker 1: and savior everywhere you go, and you will be blessed
- 28:19Speaker 1: for it. Amen. God bless you all, God keep you all,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and remember always that God is good. Peace.
