3:18
Speaker 5: Boys.
3:20
Speaker 3: We got the squad back together for real all year long.
3:24
Speaker 3: Got Clay Matthews, Yes, Sir, had the bargain with him.
3:29
Speaker 3: He wanted a new house.
3:30
Speaker 6: Yeah, private jets, Yeah, private jets.
3:35
Speaker 5: Jesus.
3:35
Speaker 7: Once Portnoy opened his mouth, you damn right, I came back.
3:39
Speaker 2: That's fair.
3:40
Speaker 7: Hey, but we had the recruit.
3:42
Speaker 3: We had the We had to host him on in
3:43
Speaker 3: home visits at my house, at Taylor's house. Yeah, the
3:46
Speaker 3: red too, that said Matthews on this I was shown
3:52
Speaker 3: him my special team game trophies, like, hey, this is
3:54
Speaker 3: what we collect when you join the Boys.
3:57
Speaker 5: We collect especially going to a winning program.
4:00
Speaker 7: No, I appreciate it and all seriousness though, I am excited.
4:02
Speaker 7: I'm fired up. You think of guys like Sam Darnold
4:05
Speaker 7: to the Seahawks, Geno Smith to the Raiders, but Clay
4:09
Speaker 7: Matthews to the Boys, biggest off season free agent. So
4:13
Speaker 7: that being said, we gotta we got an open locker here.
4:16
Speaker 7: So I brought a few, you know, a few items
4:18
Speaker 7: of mine just to you know, just okay, hold on.
4:22
Speaker 7: So so you know, I come to work. So I
4:25
Speaker 7: got the helmet.
4:27
Speaker 5: You know, that's that's when he was dumb.
4:32
Speaker 7: He never never it will were cool. Hey, I got
4:35
Speaker 7: the you know, the custom cleats. Yeah, got the name Tame.
4:43
Speaker 7: That's cool stuff, cool stuff. But but it's not just
4:45
Speaker 7: about me. It's about the boys too, and I and
4:47
Speaker 7: IM thinking about you guys, and well, I know you're
4:51
Speaker 7: you're a big fan of these guys. You know, you're
4:53
Speaker 7: kind of a deviant to you talk about your escapades
4:55
Speaker 7: when you're by yourself. So I brought you a little
4:58
Speaker 7: alone material. It's the tooth thousand and nine Sports illustrated
5:03
Speaker 7: with your boys, Cushing and maul Luga.
5:06
Speaker 5: I know you're.
5:09
Speaker 3: Right now sick the only like, I am very appreciative
5:13
Speaker 3: of this. But knowing that your Clay Matthews and your
5:16
Speaker 3: on this, I do feel like I should have all
5:18
Speaker 3: three signatures. Yeah, that would truly make my young two
5:22
Speaker 3: thousand and four self.
5:24
Speaker 2: We can do that classic President. I know when he
5:28
Speaker 2: hits the President, he's like, but I would also like this.
5:30
Speaker 5: My birthday is September nineteenth, it's coming up.
5:32
Speaker 2: Just so he just hand it back to him, be like, hey,
5:34
Speaker 2: thank you very much.
5:35
Speaker 5: Did you take this out? The trophy case is so cool.
5:38
Speaker 7: You know my mom about like she went to Barnes
5:39
Speaker 7: and Nobles about this. I was going through the through
5:42
Speaker 7: the boxes, Delanna. I know it's tough working with Will
5:45
Speaker 7: and Taylor every day. Sometimes you might need a drink,
5:47
Speaker 7: So I got you a Clay Matthews like, hey, but
5:53
Speaker 7: but always drink responsible. We understand that. Let's say you
5:56
Speaker 7: skip breakfast, but you need a few beers on the job. Lucy's.
6:00
Speaker 7: Lucy's are a thing in the past. Okay, but you
6:02
Speaker 7: know what's in Hey, two thousand and ten weedies fuel
6:07
Speaker 7: the sugar in hears greater than any nickotine pouch will
6:11
Speaker 7: give you. All Right, So that's that's that's yours over there. Okay,
6:17
Speaker 7: you're Hey, Taylor reached out to me this offseason. She said, Hey,
6:21
Speaker 7: I'm really worried about Taylor. He's gone all the time.
6:23
Speaker 7: He's playing grab ass with Dana. Hey, I know this
6:27
Speaker 7: is what she said.
6:28
Speaker 5: This is I didn't this is what she said.
6:31
Speaker 7: You know, when the girls are upset, they're sad. Okay,
6:33
Speaker 7: they cried themselves to sleep. So I got them a
6:35
Speaker 7: plush doll that they can sleep so they don't have
6:39
Speaker 7: to be scared anymore.
6:40
Speaker 2: Oh God, bless that is you might.
6:46
Speaker 7: Speaking of girls? Uh you know, girl down here? Will
6:50
Speaker 7: you know? I know you're a busy man too, and
6:52
Speaker 7: I just want your girls to grow up and just
6:54
Speaker 7: look at what a real linebacker looks like. And that's
6:56
Speaker 7: one hundred piece Clay Matthews puzzle. We're gonna have a
7:00
Speaker 7: lot of questions for you, you know. So yeah, I
7:04
Speaker 7: just I'm just bringing you to.
7:06
Speaker 2: One hundred pieces.
7:07
Speaker 5: Anymore than that I got.
7:09
Speaker 7: Okay, So we're going back to the USC days right here,
7:12
Speaker 7: number forty seven. You see that Rose bull patch, So
7:15
Speaker 7: I just add a little bit of color. But this
7:17
Speaker 7: was the two thousand and seven Rose Bowl game. Any
7:20
Speaker 7: idea who played the Trojans in this game?
7:22
Speaker 5: Illinois, the Michigan Wolverine.
7:26
Speaker 7: Hey, the lost Cushing defensive MVP, Dwane Jared offensive MVP.
7:31
Speaker 7: Both from Jersey. This will look great in the locker
7:34
Speaker 7: right there. Sorry, it's just it's part of the show.
7:37
Speaker 2: It's part of the show.
7:39
Speaker 5: A sure or anybody with anybody want to build out
7:43
Speaker 5: the locker? Hey, want to rip the cord? Yeah, you get, sir,
7:47
Speaker 5: get your more. He's got more.
7:50
Speaker 7: Last thing, I don't want to make this all about me.
7:51
Speaker 5: I'm not the boys.
7:53
Speaker 7: Okay, now this I needed a jersey. You know, we
7:55
Speaker 7: got delaying these jerseys and and you boys. But so
7:58
Speaker 7: this is twenty fifteen NFC Wild Card victory captain patch
8:03
Speaker 7: right here, authentic. Any ideas who the Packers beat this.
8:07
Speaker 5: Game, I'm gonna guess the San Francisco for.
8:10
Speaker 7: The Redskins commander was no more. And so thank you
8:22
Speaker 7: for bringing me in. These are all random. I didn't
8:25
Speaker 7: think about these at all. I just kind of picked
8:26
Speaker 7: stuff out and uh, you know.
8:29
Speaker 5: No, that's an awesome jersey.
8:30
Speaker 3: You had four tackles in that game as the middle lineback.
8:32
Speaker 7: How many sacks? One and a half. That's like.
8:37
Speaker 2: You had, buddy, You got me leaking early.
8:44
Speaker 6: That was.
8:48
Speaker 2: Who played that game. I'm gonna guess the Niners you
8:50
Speaker 2: played in that game.
8:52
Speaker 5: That was you.
8:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, help me, what an introduction bringing it absolutely incredible.
8:58
Speaker 5: That was incredible.
8:59
Speaker 1: You've heard Alvier's man more pre Lay Matthews per Jeremy Clump. Boys,
9:03
Speaker 1: we got a hell of a slate. AFC picks NFC
9:07
Speaker 1: picks champions MVPs.
9:10
Speaker 2: We're building the other parlays. It's going to be an
9:12
Speaker 2: amazing year.
9:12
Speaker 3: Not to bring it back to Clay, but Clay did
9:14
Speaker 3: win a Super Bowl. And since in the theme of
9:16
Speaker 3: we're picking a super Bowl champion, we'll probably be talking
9:18
Speaker 3: about the Eagles a lot. What is the mentality of
9:21
Speaker 3: winning the Super Bowl and having big expectations going into
9:24
Speaker 3: the next year.
9:25
Speaker 7: Well, I can speak from experience, as you know. Obviously
9:28
Speaker 7: winning the Super Bowl in twenty ten, you know, we
9:31
Speaker 7: were the sixth seed and we got hot. That's that's
9:34
Speaker 7: how it is. It's the hottest team at the end
9:35
Speaker 7: of the year. We weren't the best team, we were
9:37
Speaker 7: the hottest team went on to win twenty eleven. Rolls around,
9:41
Speaker 7: start off like Gangbusters, be the Saints. We go fifteen
9:44
Speaker 7: to one all the way first round. By then we
9:47
Speaker 7: play the Giants in the divisional round. They have like
9:50
Speaker 7: the twenty seventh ranked defense. We fall flat on our face.
9:54
Speaker 7: They they got out there a rod in our offense.
9:58
Speaker 7: Who are those boys on the who are those pass
10:00
Speaker 7: back in the day and your Justin and Tucker straight hand.
10:05
Speaker 7: I don't think straight hand was after the Super Bowl?
10:09
Speaker 5: Is that it was that is that?
10:10
Speaker 3: When is that when the Giants were like the bottom seats.
10:13
Speaker 7: I think they wanted that year that was when they
10:15
Speaker 7: beat beats.
10:16
Speaker 5: They beat the forty nine. Well, they beat the Patriots
10:19
Speaker 5: and right the undefeated Patriots because we.
10:22
Speaker 6: Played then of the year we played the next they
10:24
Speaker 6: whooped us and then beat the Patriots.
10:27
Speaker 7: Expect get the super Bowl.
10:28
Speaker 5: We lost the Super Bowl. He's in the super Bowl
10:31
Speaker 5: twenty and twelve and they ran him back.
10:33
Speaker 6: Yeah, twenty twelve super Bowl Baltimore versus Francisco forty nine ers.
10:38
Speaker 5: What year was that? Twenty twelve?
10:40
Speaker 3: You also played the Packers that yere in the playoffs? Ye,
10:42
Speaker 3: when they're a tackle that you broke, like a big
10:44
Speaker 3: time tackles.
10:45
Speaker 5: What I mean?
10:46
Speaker 6: Yeah, Yeah, definitely broke one on you. Two thousand and
10:50
Speaker 6: twenty twelve.
10:54
Speaker 2: The NFL. We all got play, we all get gone.
10:57
Speaker 7: I don't think it was that was beating us.
10:59
Speaker 5: I think it was more it was No, definitely, I
11:02
Speaker 5: had just a little role in that game. Cap did
11:05
Speaker 5: that off the team?
11:06
Speaker 7: Yeah?
11:06
Speaker 2: It takes a team.
11:06
Speaker 5: Though. You can't be can't be great by yourself.
11:10
Speaker 1: Thoughts of players of Kaepernick. I know he's still so
11:13
Speaker 1: we'll see how that works out.
11:14
Speaker 5: Very selfless. Yeah, you know. I was just a team player,
11:18
Speaker 5: special teams all around. The type of guy.
11:22
Speaker 7: Delaney was wild as how you were like the blocking title.
11:27
Speaker 7: Vernon was receiving receiving, and you always ran twelve personnel
11:33
Speaker 7: and I was either matched up and I always knew
11:35
Speaker 7: when I was going against Delaney like I had that
11:36
Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying, strap up a little bit.
11:38
Speaker 7: But uh, Vernon wasn't really interested. He was getting the receiving.
11:41
Speaker 7: And then you go to Tennessee and.
11:42
Speaker 6: They switched the role because we had Craig Stevenson. So
11:46
Speaker 6: Craig was the blocker. When I got in, I knew
11:48
Speaker 6: I couldn't out block him.
11:49
Speaker 5: That dude was he was yeah ox.
11:53
Speaker 6: So they was like, look, you're not he's going to
11:55
Speaker 6: block you won't probably being in no run players. I'm like, okay,
11:58
Speaker 6: I'm fine with that.
11:59
Speaker 5: Let's go.
12:00
Speaker 2: Quick story about Delaney man.
12:01
Speaker 1: When I first got there, he would always be walking
12:03
Speaker 1: around in the backfield, not doing reps, but just talking
12:05
Speaker 1: and talking about how y'all y'all.
12:08
Speaker 2: Asst blocking, I can block anybody.
12:09
Speaker 1: I'm thinking, this motherfucker, he just catches it like He's
12:11
Speaker 1: a great football player obviously, and I literally I think
12:14
Speaker 1: like one day I went and watched him film, like
12:16
Speaker 1: one of the coaches had like your special teams and
12:19
Speaker 1: you're blocking.
12:19
Speaker 2: I'm like, where the fuck is this? Like why is
12:22
Speaker 2: it he blocking? You're also getting triple covers?
12:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, but they wouldn't we have zero threats. I mean,
12:26
Speaker 5: and he got paid.
12:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, he got paid like you don't.
12:29
Speaker 6: But it was like we don't want him in the
12:31
Speaker 6: game blocking because the first year I got there, almost
12:33
Speaker 6: got hurt blocking. Somebody like ran up on me and
12:36
Speaker 6: I twisted my ankle and they was like you the
12:39
Speaker 6: best player we got. You were never going back in there?
12:43
Speaker 2: Was Delaney is the only player we have here. You're
12:48
Speaker 2: not blocking anymore.
12:50
Speaker 7: I mean you know you know.
12:51
Speaker 6: Eighty two in Bird Bird Yeah, and then you still
12:55
Speaker 6: can't stop me. What are we gonna do this every time?
12:57
Speaker 6: I'm just saying everybody understands, Like we played each other
13:01
Speaker 6: one time and you had what fifteen yards total?
13:03
Speaker 5: In that game? We beat you?
13:06
Speaker 6: WILLI she covered you blanket coverage, okay, right, half Compton
13:11
Speaker 6: and co locks down de Landy Walker and Cole there
13:15
Speaker 6: you go and co Yeah, it took three.
13:17
Speaker 1: That's a that's a headline from BoNT Missouri in high
13:21
Speaker 1: school for boys. Let's get this, Let's get some future picks.
13:25
Speaker 1: Should we start in the AFC East.
13:28
Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, it's just started. We can start wherever we want.
13:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, we sat where we want. I like the Bills obviously.
13:35
Speaker 1: I think I think the Bills here at some point
13:38
Speaker 1: in Josh Allen's career, he has to get over the
13:40
Speaker 1: hump of Patrick Mahomes and these other quarterbacks and make
13:43
Speaker 1: it to the next step. We will talk about the
13:44
Speaker 1: Super Bowl in a little bit. Going to Rochester, watching
13:48
Speaker 1: the Bills, seeing how they operated, watching Josh Allen from
13:52
Speaker 1: every single arm angle, like, I think he missed two
13:54
Speaker 1: throws the entire day, and one of them was a drop.
13:56
Speaker 1: He's got the moxi, he's got the bravado, he's got
13:58
Speaker 1: the attitude. You get some additions like Joey Bosa back on,
14:02
Speaker 1: you kind of switch him and Von Miller out, Tredevius
14:04
Speaker 1: White comes in there. Only concern I have for the
14:07
Speaker 1: Bills is Elijah Moore. You get him for uh former
14:11
Speaker 1: second round pick.
14:12
Speaker 2: He goes.
14:13
Speaker 1: They're talking about how excited they are about Elijah Moore.
14:15
Speaker 1: This guy is going to be the weapon, the speed
14:17
Speaker 1: that they need at the Bills. Now, there's a couple
14:19
Speaker 1: of articles that came out I believe it was yesterday
14:21
Speaker 1: that Elijah Moore is having a tough, tough camp. He
14:24
Speaker 1: might be want to cut candidate and might not even
14:25
Speaker 1: make the fit three man roster. Insert the possibility of
14:29
Speaker 1: Gabe Davis. His best years were at the Bills. I
14:31
Speaker 1: got opportunity to talk to him. We're at UFC play
14:34
Speaker 1: hanging out with Dana White and he he popped by.
14:37
Speaker 1: He's like, I think I'm going with the Bills. I
14:38
Speaker 1: think that's what that's gonna happen for me if he's
14:40
Speaker 1: able to go there. I think Josh Allen has all
14:42
Speaker 1: the tools.
14:42
Speaker 2: And they repeat again. In the AFC East, I.
14:44
Speaker 5: Feel like the only question mark is the wide receiver room. Yeah,
14:47
Speaker 5: it's a you got Coleman, Josh Palmer, Josh Josh Palmer.
14:52
Speaker 3: And who Yes, Sure, I think that's really the only
14:56
Speaker 3: question mark because I got the Bills taking the East two.
14:59
Speaker 3: I do think the Patriots have a little dark horse shot.
15:02
Speaker 3: I think they make it interesting, obviously very able, it's
15:05
Speaker 3: the new regime everything else. But I think Drake may
15:08
Speaker 3: in his second year. I think they got a lot
15:10
Speaker 3: of weapons.
15:10
Speaker 6: I think they're healthy right now, we were talking, we
15:12
Speaker 6: were out there at Patriot training camp.
15:14
Speaker 3: They feel good about everything. But you know, like Rabel,
15:17
Speaker 3: they're gonna have some good culture wins in the first year.
15:20
Speaker 3: They could be a dark horse shot because they don't
15:22
Speaker 3: have too tough of a schedule and looking at all
15:24
Speaker 3: those two teams very easy. But that would be my
15:26
Speaker 3: only thing against the Bills is what is their receiver
15:31
Speaker 3: room gonna How is the receiver room gonna produce with Josh?
15:35
Speaker 5: I mean, Josh Allen's a superhero.
15:36
Speaker 1: But another quest if we're staying on the category of
15:39
Speaker 1: like what had the Bills up against him, it's their
15:41
Speaker 1: passing defense last year wasn't. But they're very unhealthy, very injured.
15:46
Speaker 1: It's kind of been that way the last couple. He's
15:48
Speaker 1: coming back from a leg injury. You bring Joey Boston,
15:51
Speaker 1: he's coming from the Chargers. It's like you're hoping that
15:55
Speaker 1: they that the defense understands what's at stake. When you
15:59
Speaker 1: have a guy like Josh Sean with the opportunity to
16:00
Speaker 1: win a Super Bowl every single year, it's the Bills
16:03
Speaker 1: play the Chiefs in the regular season, whoever wins that
16:06
Speaker 1: game losing the playoffs, and Josh Allen has always kind
16:09
Speaker 1: of won that regulationason game and lost in that playoff game. Yeah,
16:12
Speaker 1: so it's time for them to make that step. I
16:14
Speaker 1: do like the Patriots maybe taking second, and they're making
16:18
Speaker 1: it a little bit interesting with the Bills. I think
16:20
Speaker 1: when it comes to just the talent of both teams,
16:22
Speaker 1: the Bills have that more cover than the Patriots from
16:25
Speaker 1: a game playing standpoint, from a keys to victory. We've
16:28
Speaker 1: been in that locker room. We understand that raves Helas
16:30
Speaker 1: got dialed in every single time. I just don't think
16:32
Speaker 1: they're there from a personnel standpoint just yet.
16:35
Speaker 6: Well, that's why I'm going with the Patriots. And it's
16:37
Speaker 6: funny you say the person going to Patriots to win
16:39
Speaker 6: the division division, I am taking the Patriots to win
16:41
Speaker 6: the division. Like you said, a dark horse. I feel
16:44
Speaker 6: like those guys are going to step up, especially with
16:46
Speaker 6: Mike Brabel. Again, we all know Mike Brabel. We know
16:49
Speaker 6: how fast he can turn the program around, just with
16:52
Speaker 6: his mindset, of the defensive mindset, the culture he brings,
16:55
Speaker 6: the leadership that he brings.
16:56
Speaker 5: He played the game he understands.
16:58
Speaker 6: He now to take care of the players, that their
17:00
Speaker 6: players give them time off, wrest them so they ready
17:02
Speaker 6: to go in the game. But I'm gonna talk about
17:05
Speaker 6: them and not having the pieces. Well, they have a
17:07
Speaker 6: lot of cap flexibility. That's the that's the big thing
17:10
Speaker 6: right now. You know how Rabel likes to go and
17:12
Speaker 6: find players that he can use during the season, and
17:15
Speaker 6: if they have cap room, we can bring in anybody.
17:17
Speaker 6: The sky is the limit. But they're helping them all,
17:20
Speaker 6: helping them out. Drake mayout by bringing in an all
17:22
Speaker 6: Pro receiver in Stefan Diggs. That's gonna help him out
17:25
Speaker 6: being in safety blanket, throwing him the ball, getting him going.
17:28
Speaker 6: They also have a young running back that's gonna be
17:30
Speaker 6: Chris what's his name Henderson.
17:35
Speaker 2: Some of the clips you've seen coming out of camp.
17:37
Speaker 5: It's crazy zone.
17:42
Speaker 3: Even in team reps, like you can see just in
17:44
Speaker 3: the red zone periods are gonna put too much out there.
17:46
Speaker 6: But he's going to be a weapon out of here
17:49
Speaker 6: is going to be a where you know, Verbel likes
17:50
Speaker 6: to run the ball. We all know that get the
17:52
Speaker 6: get us going by running the ball, and then we'll
17:54
Speaker 6: do some play action get some guys down the field.
17:57
Speaker 6: But again, they do have an easy schedule. I feel
18:00
Speaker 6: like the Patriots can sneak in there and take the division.
18:03
Speaker 1: Listen, you talk about the salary cap, but it's like
18:05
Speaker 1: that salard CAP's already kind of done for this year.
18:08
Speaker 1: Stefan Daggs is an All Pro player. He's a guy
18:09
Speaker 1: that we all look at. He's got the name recognition,
18:11
Speaker 1: but he's coming off of an acl and he's had
18:14
Speaker 1: a couple of tough years since he's left the Bills
18:16
Speaker 1: a couple of years ago. Then you got the fourth
18:19
Speaker 1: overall pick, Campbell, who's playing left tackle for them. He's
18:21
Speaker 1: got the people hate on the shorter arms and all that.
18:24
Speaker 1: I think everyone's happy with what he is. He's a gritty,
18:27
Speaker 1: tough news guy that's gonna ballot out weekend and week out.
18:30
Speaker 1: You're not gonna have to worry from an injury standpoint
18:31
Speaker 1: from him in toughness. But it's like there's always gonna
18:34
Speaker 1: be the learning curve you're gonna come across these aliens
18:36
Speaker 1: week in and week out, and being a rookie starter
18:38
Speaker 1: left tackle, there's gonna be some growing pains that they're
18:41
Speaker 1: gonna have to Dean plan for to make sure that
18:43
Speaker 1: he's taken care of when you get into those late October, November,
18:46
Speaker 1: December games. So there's a lot of things working against them.
18:49
Speaker 1: They're coaching staffs outstanding, they have players. I just think
18:52
Speaker 1: the Bills have a little more grasp on the East,
18:55
Speaker 1: especially for this year.
18:57
Speaker 5: You got Clay Maman.
18:58
Speaker 7: I'm just deferring to you guys having gone to camp,
19:01
Speaker 7: haven't been with Rabe. I understand the pages, but I
19:03
Speaker 7: think what you're saying, Taylor is I think they're just,
19:05
Speaker 7: you know, the cream of the crop right now. Like
19:07
Speaker 7: last five, you know, AFC East Bills ran it. I
19:11
Speaker 7: think they're gonna do it again. I think with Josh
19:12
Speaker 7: Allen at the Helm, you know, like you had said,
19:14
Speaker 7: Bosa coming in and switching in with Vaughn like, I
19:16
Speaker 7: just think they're too good. I don't think anybody else
19:18
Speaker 7: in that division presents a problem. Patriots on their way up, obviously,
19:22
Speaker 7: but I just think this year twenty twenty five, until
19:25
Speaker 7: Josh Allen, yeah, until until you tell me otherwise. Yeah,
19:29
Speaker 7: it's the Bills, and none of.
19:30
Speaker 3: Us are even mentioned. The Dolphins either, I think they're
19:32
Speaker 3: the most pointing throughout the offseason. Yeah, when McDaniels comes in,
19:35
Speaker 3: I want to say, the excitement was there because he's
19:38
Speaker 3: coming from this regime of that young tree out there,
19:42
Speaker 3: of Shanahan, McVey, Lafleur, like they've all worked together. He's
19:46
Speaker 3: bringing this over to Miami that first year they had
19:48
Speaker 3: a lot of the creativity is on offense. He is
19:50
Speaker 3: super creative. He's going to continue to be creative. He's
19:52
Speaker 3: got a lot of weapons, he's got a lot of aliens.
19:55
Speaker 3: But you just see on the outside looking in all
19:57
Speaker 3: the internal stuff that's kind of went on to separate
20:00
Speaker 3: with uh, the stuff in the.
20:01
Speaker 5: Media with Tua and Tyreek Hill.
20:04
Speaker 3: They're publicly talking about players being vocal about practice.
20:09
Speaker 5: To the reporters to where now the reporters are.
20:11
Speaker 3: Asking McDaniels And it's not like he's got a stature
20:15
Speaker 3: and laying the log down on what practice is going
20:17
Speaker 3: to be, like, hey, this is our culture everything else.
20:19
Speaker 3: He kind of just kind of rolls with the punches.
20:22
Speaker 3: I just I don't know if a respect meter has
20:24
Speaker 3: gone down there. Again, I'm not in the weeds that much.
20:27
Speaker 3: I just see what comes across my timeline, and I
20:29
Speaker 3: feel like that's been what's been disappointing with the Miami
20:33
Speaker 3: Dolphins because it felt like, especially a couple of years ago,
20:35
Speaker 3: they were a team that could compete or be on
20:37
Speaker 3: the rise with the creativity McDaniels coming in. But it
20:39
Speaker 3: feels like I think the Dolphins are going to be
20:41
Speaker 3: lasting division. I think Aaron Glenn's gonna bring some culture
20:44
Speaker 3: wins and establish something with the Jets. I don't think
20:46
Speaker 3: the Jets are going to be, you know, the number
20:48
Speaker 3: two team in the AFC, in the AFC East, But
20:50
Speaker 3: I think Aaron Glenn and the staff he brought over
20:52
Speaker 3: with him from Detroit, I think they're gonna be a
20:54
Speaker 3: little surprises of this year because they have they.
20:56
Speaker 5: Have a great deal.
20:57
Speaker 3: They have players on defense, they got some weapons on offense.
21:01
Speaker 3: But that's kind of how I see the the AFC.
21:04
Speaker 1: I was, I was hanging there with you until you
21:06
Speaker 1: said the Jets being above the Dolphins. I think McDaniels
21:09
Speaker 1: is just he's too creative on the offense side of
21:11
Speaker 1: the ball. You still have too, you still have Tyreek Hill.
21:13
Speaker 1: You're missing your entire secondary from the year prior getting
21:15
Speaker 1: Jaalen Ramsey, guys getting injured. Jayalen Ramsey goes to the Steelers.
21:19
Speaker 1: But like the Jets are a franchise and they have
21:22
Speaker 1: a they have an amazing fan base. However, I'm officially
21:25
Speaker 1: gonna show me, don't tell me, because every single time
21:28
Speaker 1: they have a new coaching staff come in with this
21:30
Speaker 1: regime from this this team that won a bunch, they
21:33
Speaker 1: had a great culture, they're going to steal the culture.
21:34
Speaker 2: Just it just never shows up. And so like I
21:37
Speaker 2: need to see something before I.
21:38
Speaker 5: See Yeah, But the only thing with Miami scares me
21:41
Speaker 5: is Tula. Man.
21:42
Speaker 6: If Tula is not healthy, if he gets hurt, take
21:44
Speaker 6: another concussion. We saw what we saw what the Dolphins
21:48
Speaker 6: can do without him. They can't win a game. So
21:51
Speaker 6: without him they're in trouble. So if this man take
21:54
Speaker 6: a hit on his noggin again, here.
21:57
Speaker 5: Where are they?
21:58
Speaker 3: But also it's like talking about how important culture is,
22:01
Speaker 3: like if you're going to be a team known that
22:03
Speaker 3: a team that's known for creativity and strategy, I'm not
22:06
Speaker 3: gonna say like being cute, but McDaniel's like, if a
22:10
Speaker 3: strategy or something doesn't work one week, and this is
22:12
Speaker 3: the feeling you get of the players and how they
22:15
Speaker 3: the respect meter with the head coach or what goes
22:17
Speaker 3: on in the media when everything kind of goes to
22:19
Speaker 3: shit or doesn't go well one week, that affects the
22:22
Speaker 3: rest of the season. Whereas you're gonna have you were
22:25
Speaker 3: talking to it earlier, like Rabel turned around an organization
22:28
Speaker 3: and his leadership and everything else, and like diving into that.
22:31
Speaker 3: There's a team meeting that happens every morning to where
22:33
Speaker 3: Rabel paints you keys of success in offense, defense and
22:37
Speaker 3: special teams, and paint you a picture of how you're
22:39
Speaker 3: gonna win the football game. Paint you a picture through
22:42
Speaker 3: practice reps. Paint you a picture through your opponent and
22:44
Speaker 3: who they've played against. This is why this is a
22:47
Speaker 3: team key. This is why you have to affect the pocket.
22:49
Speaker 3: This is why you got to get Lamar Jackson thrown
22:51
Speaker 3: outside the pocket, get him thrown sideways outside the numbers.
22:53
Speaker 3: We can't have these hashes open in the middle.
22:55
Speaker 7: Right.
22:55
Speaker 5: He paints you such a vision.
22:57
Speaker 3: And again, I only know how players are spoken about
23:01
Speaker 3: Aaron Glynn and how he was a Detroit or how
23:03
Speaker 3: they spoke about him at Detroit. I feel like culture
23:07
Speaker 3: being established is a massive thing, and I feel like
23:09
Speaker 3: where Miami's at, it's just gonna take one bad week
23:12
Speaker 3: for it to kind of just go kind of go south.
23:14
Speaker 1: You got to you talk about being cute and all that,
23:16
Speaker 1: like Kinsey Chiefs are like they are. They can be
23:20
Speaker 1: cute when a short short yardage of situations where you
23:22
Speaker 1: think obviously you're going to run, they'll get cute. Slash
23:25
Speaker 1: a guy he goes out the backfield, you just think
23:27
Speaker 1: it over to him real quick, and they get the
23:28
Speaker 1: first down. They've created evidence that when they get into situations,
23:32
Speaker 1: they're able to come through. McDaniels has not created the
23:35
Speaker 1: evidence of being cute pays off consistently. I think Andy
23:38
Speaker 1: Reid after the difference to any read and McDaniel's aside
23:41
Speaker 1: from Super Bowls winning all that stuff.
23:43
Speaker 2: But yeah, the cuteness.
23:45
Speaker 1: Works, but you have to create consistent evidence for players
23:48
Speaker 1: to fully buy in all the time on it.
23:50
Speaker 2: So I agree with you on that point. Well up
23:52
Speaker 2: this episode real quick.
23:53
Speaker 5: But you form energy.
23:54
Speaker 1: Foreign Energy delivers a best in class taste with natural
23:56
Speaker 1: flavors and zero sugar.
23:58
Speaker 2: Form.
23:58
Speaker 1: Managery has natural caffeinated derived from green tea. Form comes
24:02
Speaker 1: in a variety of flavors. Talking about screaming freedom that's
24:05
Speaker 1: rocket pop inspired. Yeah, grape Smash Blue Blitz, Orange Fury.
24:08
Speaker 1: Perfect for those who love to put in the work
24:10
Speaker 1: form energy. We do the work when your boys are
24:11
Speaker 1: here studying for these things. What do we do crack
24:14
Speaker 1: the top of a form energy slid that they down
24:17
Speaker 1: were wired. We're moving x'es and o's, i's and w's.
24:20
Speaker 1: Really computers out there. We do the work form energy.
24:22
Speaker 7: Back to this episode, is that your segue to the
24:24
Speaker 7: AFC West though with the Chiefs or you want to, yeah.
24:28
Speaker 1: See West, Like when we're sitting in the AFC West,
24:30
Speaker 1: it's like one of my favorite divisions to kind of
24:33
Speaker 1: look at Broncos.
24:35
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, Chargers, I'm going Broncos.
24:37
Speaker 7: I got the Chiefs. I think the Chiefs much like
24:40
Speaker 7: the Bill. Okay, here's what I here's what I got though.
24:42
Speaker 7: I got the Broncos and Chargers making the playoffs too.
24:44
Speaker 7: I got three teams out of the AFC West making
24:47
Speaker 7: the playoffs.
24:48
Speaker 5: You don't think you don't think you think the Raiders
24:50
Speaker 5: get left behind?
24:51
Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, let's go. I don't want I don't want to.
24:55
Speaker 5: I don't want your boys out there now.
24:57
Speaker 7: Yeah. No, Pete's out there and he's gonna.
24:58
Speaker 3: Chif Kelly OC you're Gino Smith, middle fingers coming out
25:02
Speaker 3: of the coming out.
25:03
Speaker 7: Of the greater Nation is back. But it's the first year. Okay,
25:08
Speaker 7: it's the first year. But here's here's what I'm saying.
25:09
Speaker 7: Like the Chiefs are the Chiefs, Like there's no reason
25:12
Speaker 7: to bet against them at this point. Like who if
25:14
Speaker 7: they lost? Who are they? I know they're getting long
25:15
Speaker 7: in the tooth with Kelsey, but like as as.
25:18
Speaker 5: The received, the receiving car is a suspect, but.
25:21
Speaker 7: Who is Buddy? Who got hurt?
25:22
Speaker 5: Is coming to means? And they are?
25:24
Speaker 6: So you got Rice gonna be suspended for four games,
25:27
Speaker 6: Hollywood Brown, he stays injured. But checko, but checko, that's
25:31
Speaker 6: the run game. Yes, Jamie Worthy is the only right now,
25:36
Speaker 6: the only threat they have right now.
25:38
Speaker 5: Let's be honest for the Chiefs. Yeah, but yeah, seven
25:47
Speaker 5: eight hundred l always going to be true. The Kelsey
25:50
Speaker 5: gonna always be the truth. We know that.
25:52
Speaker 6: Yeah, Yeah, is a beast. Beast can play the slot,
25:56
Speaker 6: play outside. Don't look like a tight end when he's
25:59
Speaker 6: out there running routes. You want that, but again, you
26:02
Speaker 6: still need receivers. I get it, they got exavier. He
26:05
Speaker 6: can take the top off, but you're gonna need those
26:07
Speaker 6: guys when they double team in either Kelsey or Xavier,
26:10
Speaker 6: You're gonna need those guys to get open.
26:12
Speaker 7: I just don't see the Broncos or the Chargers. I
26:15
Speaker 7: see them both being like a nine to ten win team.
26:18
Speaker 7: And I see the Chiefs, you know, back up there
26:20
Speaker 7: eleven or twelve. I think it'll be close, you know,
26:22
Speaker 7: I think obviously with Harball, you know down there in LA,
26:25
Speaker 7: and then you know the Broncos and Buddy from Oregon
26:29
Speaker 7: what's his name? Yeah, both nick's playing well, I think,
26:34
Speaker 7: But I still think they're chasing the Chiefs. I think
26:36
Speaker 7: they close the gap that much more. But the Chiefs
26:39
Speaker 7: are the Chiefs.
26:40
Speaker 2: You can't disagree with the Chiefs division.
26:43
Speaker 5: You got fifteen.
26:44
Speaker 1: It's more fun to look at the AFC West and
26:46
Speaker 1: be like, we got Harball, Pete Carroll.
26:48
Speaker 5: Andy Reiders, Sean Payne, all on the same division.
26:52
Speaker 1: All of them have quarterbacks like people want to hate
26:54
Speaker 1: on Jena Smith. Jenna Smith as a dog. Mitch the
26:57
Speaker 1: other day put a little statup. I don't know if
26:58
Speaker 1: you've a microphone, I don't know it right now, but
27:00
Speaker 1: if you got something, do you have?
27:01
Speaker 5: What's that stat it was like.
27:03
Speaker 8: The last two or three years he's led the league
27:05
Speaker 8: and completion percentage, and then like two years ago he
27:07
Speaker 8: led the league in passing yards.
27:13
Speaker 1: Attested that where is p Caroll love? He loves a
27:15
Speaker 1: strong run game. He got action gent in the run game.
27:17
Speaker 1: You go to the two offensive line, you look at
27:19
Speaker 1: Harball and you're like he's doing Rich Eisen Show, sitting
27:22
Speaker 1: there being like I've had having dreams, affirmations, I've done
27:25
Speaker 1: ayahuasca in the desert, saying I've got to get Justin
27:28
Speaker 1: Herbert to the Hall of Fame.
27:29
Speaker 2: How do you do that?
27:30
Speaker 1: By winning Super Bowls? Unique culture guy, and people are
27:33
Speaker 1: buying in a year two. You look at the just
27:35
Speaker 1: the culture for Jesse Minter from a defensive coordinator standpoint,
27:38
Speaker 1: he took them from a below average defense to a
27:41
Speaker 1: top ten defense in the NFL last year. That's gonna
27:44
Speaker 1: be big time. Bo Nicks ultimate pro sean payin peanut
27:48
Speaker 1: butter and jelly. They're feeling each other. My high stadium,
27:50
Speaker 1: very difficult place to play. And also like the Chiefs
27:53
Speaker 1: didn't have any big acquisitions during the during the free
27:56
Speaker 1: agency process, like the Chargers went and got uh Mike
28:00
Speaker 1: ah Becton, who no one's really talking about, won a
28:02
Speaker 1: Super Bowl last year with the Eagles. Like was playing tackle,
28:05
Speaker 1: realized he's not as light footed as he should be,
28:08
Speaker 1: goes in and goes into guard and it starts playing
28:11
Speaker 1: what's that? Who's a who's the all line coach?
28:13
Speaker 2: Stalwart?
28:15
Speaker 5: Is he getting moved back to tackling?
28:16
Speaker 7: No?
28:17
Speaker 2: No, no, you got too great that you got Rashaun Slater,
28:20
Speaker 2: the kid from broke his leg.
28:23
Speaker 5: Yeah, he broke his leg.
28:24
Speaker 2: So I think you keep becking and you got to
28:26
Speaker 2: keep him in that phone booth listen, keep him in
28:30
Speaker 2: the phone booth area.
28:31
Speaker 1: Also shout out with Shaun Slater getting broke off one
28:33
Speaker 1: hundred plus didn't get hurt.
28:34
Speaker 2: It's a fun division to look at. It happens, it's
28:37
Speaker 2: a fun division to look at.
28:39
Speaker 1: I like the Chargers, but I also like the Chiefs,
28:41
Speaker 1: but I also like the Raiders. Like it's like, it's fun,
28:44
Speaker 1: it's fun.
28:45
Speaker 7: You talked about like no free agent acquisitions though that
28:48
Speaker 7: that that was the same approach we took in Green Bay.
28:50
Speaker 7: Though we always draft and developed, Like why you don't
28:53
Speaker 7: need to change something that's not broken. Right now, three
28:55
Speaker 7: super bowls in a row, yeah, you come up short
28:57
Speaker 7: to an amazing Philly team. I mean yeah, Like the
29:00
Speaker 7: sexy thing to do was go in and bring these
29:02
Speaker 7: free agents. But they've got the squad, they've got the team,
29:04
Speaker 7: they've got the coach, Like how.
29:05
Speaker 5: Many one score games did they win last year?
29:07
Speaker 1: Through that show, there's like a little Tikey teking things
29:16
Speaker 1: like you can't rely on that. I'm dude, I'm with you, Like,
29:20
Speaker 1: am I going to be surprised?
29:21
Speaker 7: Win?
29:21
Speaker 2: And if the Chiefs win the division?
29:23
Speaker 5: Again?
29:23
Speaker 1: No, but it's like, how exciting is the a f
29:26
Speaker 1: C West? And you lost Joe Tony by the way,
29:31
Speaker 1: Michael Nicole Hardman there for a.
29:37
Speaker 2: So it's fun. It's fun, dude, an FC North, that's
29:42
Speaker 2: a fun one.
29:47
Speaker 7: I got the Ravens. I got the Ravens. I think,
29:50
Speaker 7: as hey, you just gotta go with the A f C.
29:55
Speaker 7: Is not difficult if you miss on the A Chiefs. Ravens,
30:00
Speaker 7: Bill's Ravens. Every every it's about winning. I'm about stacking doves,
30:07
Speaker 7: all right.
30:07
Speaker 3: You got.
30:10
Speaker 7: The NFC. Haven't played the NFC my entire career. I
30:12
Speaker 7: feel good about that. You all a f C boys
30:14
Speaker 7: talking about Rabel and the notes he puts on the
30:17
Speaker 7: on the whiteboard, and I don't care. I want to
30:19
Speaker 7: know who's gonna win, all right, and that the Ravens.
30:25
Speaker 2: We got another delading on the squad to take these
30:31
Speaker 2: I'm gonna take a money line.
30:33
Speaker 7: I got the Bengals making the playoff as well as
30:35
Speaker 7: a wild card. I think they get off to a
30:37
Speaker 7: slow start as well. They don't have an offensive line
30:39
Speaker 7: to block for Joe Burrow defense. I think you think
30:42
Speaker 7: of the chemistry of the Bengals, you see what's going
30:44
Speaker 7: on with Trey Hendrickson. They don't want to invest in
30:47
Speaker 7: their guys. It's been like that since Carson, even before him.
30:51
Speaker 7: It's just I don't think it's a locker room. That is,
30:55
Speaker 7: there's not a lot of centergy or cohesiveness. And then,
30:57
Speaker 7: like I said, I'm not in there. I'm just I'm
30:59
Speaker 7: justerva And I think you know, with Burrow back there,
31:03
Speaker 7: he's capable of throwing you know, five thousand yards. But
31:06
Speaker 7: at the end of the day, I don't think their
31:08
Speaker 7: defense holds up. I think they lose some of these games.
31:10
Speaker 7: And I think the Ravens with Lamar Jackson are just
31:12
Speaker 7: you know, that team in AFC.
31:14
Speaker 9: I think they Win, James Bateman, the line, day line,
31:22
Speaker 9: Ronnie Stanley, like they I mean, they had a tough
31:24
Speaker 9: time jaelling earlier in the years, and they really figured
31:27
Speaker 9: themselves out.
31:28
Speaker 5: They got there is a reason why. That's a squad, right, Alexander. Yeah, yeah,
31:38
Speaker 5: they got Alexander the squad. They got a squad.
31:42
Speaker 1: I want to sit there and raise a fly for
31:45
Speaker 1: the Bengals so much. Like I love Joe Burrow quarterback,
31:48
Speaker 1: like he deserves twenty two guys on all three sides
31:52
Speaker 1: of the ball, like playing as well and as hard
31:55
Speaker 1: as he is, But the defense for me is I
31:57
Speaker 1: have to stay away. Trey Hendrickson, he's trying to figure
31:59
Speaker 1: it out. He's magistcruntled their first round draft pick almost
32:02
Speaker 1: went back to A and M. They have a whole
32:04
Speaker 1: back and forth. It's like they didn't necessarily get better
32:08
Speaker 1: on the defense.
32:09
Speaker 5: Of the ball.
32:09
Speaker 1: And then yeah, like Joe Burrow was essentially cam Ward
32:13
Speaker 1: in Miami last Year's like he's got to drop forty
32:15
Speaker 1: just to win a game. So it's like, yeah, it's
32:19
Speaker 1: fun to watch, and I mean is unbelievable, Like they
32:23
Speaker 1: have a great offense. They paid everybody to but dude,
32:27
Speaker 1: I feel like the Steelers. I feel like Steelers in
32:32
Speaker 1: the best possible position you can be in. Man, Like
32:35
Speaker 1: when Aaron Rodgers went to the Jets, It's like the
32:37
Speaker 1: Jets are back, They're going to do X, Y and Z.
32:39
Speaker 1: Obviously what happened happened at the Jets. Now no one's
32:43
Speaker 1: talking about Aaron Rodgers like that new car smell has
32:46
Speaker 1: kind of worn off.
32:47
Speaker 2: Has he lost it? Is he? Is he done?
32:49
Speaker 1: Is he just doing getting a paycheck? Can you not
32:50
Speaker 1: walk away from the game? I feel like that's exactly
32:53
Speaker 1: where Aaron Rodgers wants to be. The OC Arthur Smith,
32:56
Speaker 1: he does a good job of handling unique relationships. Who
32:59
Speaker 1: does the best job? The head coach, Mike Tomlin does
33:02
Speaker 1: an amazing job. I love the addition of DK Metcalf.
33:06
Speaker 1: I love John Smith, who I think is a wildly
33:08
Speaker 1: underrated tight end with the Miami Smith. Yeah, so right
33:13
Speaker 1: now the Steelers are sitting in a spot where it's
33:16
Speaker 1: like no one's talking about them, and that's exactly where
33:19
Speaker 1: they need to be, not to I.
33:21
Speaker 2: Mean, they pay t J.
33:22
Speaker 1: Watt, you know, the entire bank. He's the highest non
33:24
Speaker 1: paid quarterback of all time. Leaders leadership with Hayward high Smith.
33:29
Speaker 1: Smith is a guy that I swear to God is
33:32
Speaker 1: not talked about enough. He had a growing last year
33:34
Speaker 1: in an ankle. Last year he missed like six or
33:36
Speaker 1: seven games, still recorded six sacks. Like, that's a guy
33:40
Speaker 1: when he's fully healthy. You got to watch out for
33:43
Speaker 1: him too. But that allows tjd More, allows Cam to
33:45
Speaker 1: be more. Like I think the Steelers are going to
33:48
Speaker 1: surprise a lot of people.
33:49
Speaker 2: I'm taking them.
33:50
Speaker 7: You talked about him coming up from Miami, like you
33:52
Speaker 7: had him at cornerback. And however, they want to get
33:54
Speaker 7: creative with drop.
33:56
Speaker 1: On the depth chart for which which means like, I
33:59
Speaker 1: just feel like he's still got gonna be covering attitude.
34:03
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll tell you what.
34:04
Speaker 1: We gotta get Corners away from the loose sleeve jerseys.
34:07
Speaker 1: Though I don't I don't subscribe to that.
34:11
Speaker 5: I like when they have new jerseys.
34:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know why that became cool.
34:15
Speaker 5: I don't know why did you do it?
34:18
Speaker 2: I got, I got the Steelers.
34:19
Speaker 5: The only thing scared me with that is Arthur Smith
34:22
Speaker 5: and Aaron Rodgers. I just I I know Art, we
34:27
Speaker 5: have I know Art.
34:28
Speaker 6: If they when they started going wrong, they're gonna be
34:32
Speaker 6: button heads and I told y'all, but I told you
34:35
Speaker 6: about when it doesn't go it's gonna go wrong. It
34:39
Speaker 6: doesn't go wrong, it's gonna go wrong with Aaron Rodgers,
34:41
Speaker 6: straight up.
34:42
Speaker 5: Do you think so? No?
34:45
Speaker 7: I think I think it's keeping the buck, you know,
34:47
Speaker 7: you know, I know. I mean, listen, I'm like, what
34:52
Speaker 7: year twenty year twenty one for him right now? Like
34:55
Speaker 7: great coaches, they understand their players what they're capable of doing.
35:01
Speaker 7: Aaron can do everything. And if that means you know,
35:03
Speaker 7: he's got his checks out there, like I can't speak
35:05
Speaker 7: to you know when he's behind center and he's doing
35:08
Speaker 7: what he does out there. But like, his football intelligence
35:11
Speaker 7: is greater than probably any coach out there because he
35:14
Speaker 7: has seen it, he's been through it, he sat behind far,
35:17
Speaker 7: he's now moved around a few franchises. Like I think
35:19
Speaker 7: he's just that guy and he wants everybody on deck,
35:24
Speaker 7: everybody on the same page. Hopefully that's the case with
35:26
Speaker 7: his receivers. I know from watching the Jets last year,
35:28
Speaker 7: it was just it was dysfunctional. Just not from an
35:31
Speaker 7: organizational standpoint, perhaps it was, but it was just watching
35:33
Speaker 7: it on game day, not you know, understanding what they're
35:37
Speaker 7: running the passes.
35:37
Speaker 5: So there were moments though last year, like it's not
35:39
Speaker 5: like he.
35:40
Speaker 7: No, absolutely, if you look at his stats, you think
35:43
Speaker 7: you think he was terrible. You look at his stats,
35:44
Speaker 7: I don't know what they are off the top of
35:46
Speaker 7: my head, but you know they're like upper three thousand,
35:49
Speaker 7: upper three thousands.
35:50
Speaker 2: Yeah.
35:51
Speaker 7: And but I think, like, like you had mentioned Mike
35:53
Speaker 7: Tomlin as the head coach, you know that defense, phenomenal
35:58
Speaker 7: offensive acquisitions. I think they're prime to be, you know,
36:01
Speaker 7: a dark horseness.
36:02
Speaker 5: I got Aaron Rodgers four thousand. That's crazy. I like that.
36:06
Speaker 6: And I like that because you know Arthur Smith don't
36:09
Speaker 6: go deep a lot. He likes to run these.
36:12
Speaker 2: Arthur he eventually Arthur's adopt die.
36:16
Speaker 5: I got Aaron Rodgers, who's been his quarterbacks yards?
36:20
Speaker 6: Who in his quarterback with US, Ryan Tannehill, Marcus Mariota,
36:24
Speaker 6: not Aaron, I know. But it's the point of is
36:27
Speaker 6: Aaron still is he still gonna have that ability to
36:30
Speaker 6: get the ball down the field. I don't think they
36:33
Speaker 6: had a quarterback like I know, but they never.
36:35
Speaker 5: Also, the old.
36:36
Speaker 6: Line is not as strong as y'all saying it is,
36:38
Speaker 6: So Aaron Rodgers can't play behind a week old line
36:41
Speaker 6: because he's not about to be running all over the field.
36:43
Speaker 6: That's not him. He's too old to do that. He
36:45
Speaker 6: won't do that, I'm telling you right now. That's what
36:49
Speaker 6: That's where I feel like the upside is gonna come down.
36:51
Speaker 6: Just like what you said. He feels like he's so smart.
36:54
Speaker 6: He's smarter than offensive coordinator. That ship get that rubs
36:57
Speaker 6: people the wrong way when you in the meeting room
36:59
Speaker 6: when you're quarter back's like, oh well, no, we should
37:01
Speaker 6: do it.
37:01
Speaker 3: You don't think they haven't been building the synergy since
37:03
Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers walked to the door.
37:07
Speaker 6: I mean he gonna Arthur gonna play his role just
37:09
Speaker 6: to you know, to make to make him please them
37:12
Speaker 6: until he don't have to.
37:15
Speaker 5: I just what I feel. Ill just think here's why
37:17
Speaker 5: I like.
37:17
Speaker 3: The Steelers in this division. I don't and I like
37:20
Speaker 3: the I like the Ravens have the best team. Ravens
37:22
Speaker 3: are gonna be the hardest to beat. Obviously, would not
37:25
Speaker 3: be surprised if they win the division. I would love
37:27
Speaker 3: to see Burrow just throw for forty five hundred. I'm
37:30
Speaker 3: close to picking that on Fandel right now. Joe Burrow
37:33
Speaker 3: throwing for over forty five.
37:34
Speaker 5: I would rather do that one than Aaron Rodgers.
37:36
Speaker 3: But here's why I liked Here's why I like the
37:38
Speaker 3: Steelers coming out on this division because when you look
37:41
Speaker 3: at the schedule between the Ravens and the Steelers, I'll
37:46
Speaker 3: just rattle these off.
37:47
Speaker 5: Ravens gotta play.
37:48
Speaker 3: They open up at Buffalo, they host Detroit, they play
37:51
Speaker 3: at Kansas City. They're playing Houston, the Rams, you got Minnesota,
37:56
Speaker 3: you got obviously, they're in division games.
37:59
Speaker 5: You got New England, you got Green Bay.
38:02
Speaker 3: They're playing a lot of playoff teams that were in
38:04
Speaker 3: the playoffs last year, and when you go to the Steelers,
38:07
Speaker 3: you're not seeing any of those teams. Like they go
38:10
Speaker 3: at New York, the Jets, they play Seattle, they play
38:13
Speaker 3: New England, they play Minnesota, they play the Browns or
38:16
Speaker 3: obviously the teams in their division, the.
38:18
Speaker 5: Colts, Green Bay, the Bears.
38:23
Speaker 3: They don't have they don't have a lot of they
38:25
Speaker 3: don't have a lot of like ex playoff teams that
38:27
Speaker 3: they have to play.
38:28
Speaker 6: Similar to think they went out of the first five.
38:31
Speaker 6: How many of you giving them out of the first five?
38:33
Speaker 3: So they got their first four? Is the Jets, Seattle,
38:35
Speaker 3: New England, Minnesota, and then they have a bye week
38:37
Speaker 3: in the Browns. If they're dropping any games, I see
38:40
Speaker 3: him dropping New England, New England or Minnesota.
38:44
Speaker 2: But also Minnesota's got a new quarterback J J. McCarty.
38:47
Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, Minnesota I think is a year away.
38:50
Speaker 3: They're hosting Minnesota. Yeah, well they're not hosting. It's a
38:55
Speaker 3: thirty AM, So that tells me it's overseas.
38:57
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, but hot.
39:01
Speaker 3: But those those first four, you know how you break
39:03
Speaker 3: it down to like as a player, Obviously there's more
39:04
Speaker 3: games now, but when of sixteen win sixteen games, it's
39:07
Speaker 3: like a quarter at the time.
39:08
Speaker 5: Your first first four, you.
39:10
Speaker 3: Open up with the Jets, Seattle, New England, Minnesota.
39:13
Speaker 6: You get three of them. They're in a great spot.
39:16
Speaker 6: They go Jets. They playing the Jets at the Jets.
39:19
Speaker 5: Yeah, they're going to New York. I really think the
39:21
Speaker 5: Jets gonna turn around this year. We'll see. And then
39:24
Speaker 5: the Ravens.
39:24
Speaker 3: In their first four you got Buffalo, the Browns, the Lions,
39:28
Speaker 3: Kansas City.
39:30
Speaker 5: I like it.
39:31
Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it's great for football, it's great for fans
39:34
Speaker 3: electric year. But I'm saying that's that's that's that's purely
39:38
Speaker 3: based on schedule and teams they have to play. Ravens
39:41
Speaker 3: feel like they're playing everybody from the playoffs last year.
39:46
Speaker 3: Pittsburgh feels like they're not. They're not playing any weeks
39:49
Speaker 3: outside of their division that's been the playoffs.
39:53
Speaker 5: Texas, Texas. It's heartbreaking into Texas.
39:56
Speaker 6: I mean, the Titans gotta show me something. I just
39:59
Speaker 6: couldn't decide. I don't picking the.
40:00
Speaker 2: Tys going by right now in the locker room show
40:04
Speaker 2: Onward Texans.
40:05
Speaker 6: Yeah, what do you guys think about the stuff that
40:08
Speaker 6: just went down with the Colts? I mean, I believe
40:10
Speaker 6: that was gonna happen. The man couldn't pick up a
40:14
Speaker 6: regular blitz on a cover two rotation to Richardson.
40:18
Speaker 5: Yeah, Anthony Richardson, he couldn't pick up that blitz.
40:20
Speaker 6: It was a It showed cover too, but they rotate
40:22
Speaker 6: to a cover three brung only like a Sam Dog
40:25
Speaker 6: or something like that, and he didn't see it. Breaks
40:27
Speaker 6: his pinky. You don't want to put a quarterback out there.
40:30
Speaker 6: He's a liability. You have to make that decision.
40:33
Speaker 5: You have to.
40:34
Speaker 6: Don't get Dame Jones. All he can do is lose
40:36
Speaker 6: the position. And Richardson goes back in and gets his
40:39
Speaker 6: job back. That's literally where we're sitting at with that decision.
40:42
Speaker 7: Yeah, and it's you know what that was his second
40:44
Speaker 7: year last year started?
40:45
Speaker 5: Was he he's in year three three?
40:46
Speaker 3: Okay, I mean he's only played fifteen games, so because
40:49
Speaker 3: he's got a lot of injury, like a lot of
40:51
Speaker 3: he gets injured.
40:52
Speaker 7: Yeah, Or you think of like the Trey Lance situation
40:54
Speaker 7: forty nine ers when they you know, they benched him
40:56
Speaker 7: so to speak, and I know that was because of
40:58
Speaker 7: injuries as well, but it takes a lot. You almost
41:01
Speaker 7: commend the team for ripping the band aid off and
41:04
Speaker 7: admitting the mistake of drafting him. So you know, it's
41:09
Speaker 7: it's tough, you know to kind of see that situation.
41:12
Speaker 7: But you look at, like you said, all the off
41:13
Speaker 7: field stuff too, like like you know, coming out of
41:16
Speaker 7: the game, pulling yourself out when you tire. We got
41:19
Speaker 7: a hip hop rap career on the side too, Like
41:21
Speaker 7: you need everybody bought in, And I think Daniel Jones
41:25
Speaker 7: gives him a better chance, but a better chance to
41:28
Speaker 7: do what it's not.
41:29
Speaker 5: It's not when the.
41:29
Speaker 3: Dis people are going off to the coach too, because
41:31
Speaker 3: it's like they're seeing it as the Coats organization. You
41:35
Speaker 3: knew he was twenty one years old, you knew who
41:37
Speaker 3: was young, you knew he was going to be a project.
41:39
Speaker 3: You got to give him reps. You have to give
41:40
Speaker 3: him time. And I think all of us from like
41:43
Speaker 3: with experience playing in the league, like this game has
41:46
Speaker 3: a small window for everybody, not just the players, the staff,
41:51
Speaker 3: front office people. There's probably people sitting in that front
41:54
Speaker 3: office seeing like, yeah, we gave up on him, Like
41:55
Speaker 3: this person is saying it right, There's probably people being like, yeah,
41:57
Speaker 3: we should have done this a while back. Because you
41:59
Speaker 3: have the injury. He hasn't been available. Your best ability
42:02
Speaker 3: is availability in the NFL, he hasn't been available because
42:05
Speaker 3: of injuries. Is he showing promise and progress? On the
42:09
Speaker 3: promise side, he flashes, he makes incredible plays, but as
42:13
Speaker 3: far as consistency doing the little things, hitting guys out
42:15
Speaker 3: in the flat, picking up simple day one install blitzes
42:19
Speaker 3: in preseason, it's like, how long of a lease are
42:22
Speaker 3: you going to give them before the staff or people
42:25
Speaker 3: in the front office start feeling tight.
42:26
Speaker 5: We're not going to have a long time here.
42:28
Speaker 1: If we don't make a decision, they're essentially preserving themselves
42:31
Speaker 1: or like we gotta yeah.
42:32
Speaker 5: Hey, we have to admit that we kind of fucked
42:34
Speaker 5: this up.
42:34
Speaker 3: Daniel Jones, I only know based on one interview that
42:37
Speaker 3: happened in the locker room where they were interviewing one
42:39
Speaker 3: of the players and they talk about how much command
42:40
Speaker 3: that Daniel Jones has.
42:41
Speaker 5: They're talking about his intangible stuff. He just seems understanding.
42:44
Speaker 5: Know the offense. They did the same thing last year.
42:47
Speaker 3: When they threw what Flacco in there, when they ended
42:50
Speaker 3: up pulling the plug on Anthony Richardson because they're like, hey,
42:52
Speaker 3: we're just gonna start Flacco. Dude pulls himself out of
42:54
Speaker 3: the game for being too tired, gets called out like
42:58
Speaker 3: I'm not surprised. I feel like was bound to happen,
43:01
Speaker 3: especially again, not being on the inside is the promise
43:05
Speaker 3: in making progress, and apparently he hasn't made the progress,
43:08
Speaker 3: or he hasn't had the intentionality of being in the room.
43:10
Speaker 5: Maybe he shows up early, but maybe.
43:12
Speaker 3: It's not carrying over to the from practice field to
43:14
Speaker 3: the games, and it's just like, what the fuck else
43:17
Speaker 3: can we do here?
43:18
Speaker 5: For the highest of highs when he does have him.
43:21
Speaker 3: But the inconsistencies and the floor he has right now,
43:23
Speaker 3: it's almost like they had to make the switch to
43:25
Speaker 3: Daniel Jones.
43:26
Speaker 1: Anthony Richardson, he only knows this answer, but it's like,
43:29
Speaker 1: how much effort and work are you putting into the
43:32
Speaker 1: day in and day out processes of being able to
43:34
Speaker 1: be an NFL quarterback.
43:35
Speaker 2: He's the only one that knows that answer.
43:36
Speaker 1: For them to make this decision at this point right now,
43:39
Speaker 1: for Daniel Jones to be the starting quarterback, it's got
43:42
Speaker 1: to be a Daniel Jones just above and beyond right
43:44
Speaker 1: now and the self preservation of the upper office Jim Mercey,
43:47
Speaker 1: he's gone now. Like ownership, there's a whole there's a
43:49
Speaker 1: lot of changing.
43:50
Speaker 5: DJ might be operating right now in that, Yeah, he
43:52
Speaker 5: might be.
43:53
Speaker 2: The people I feel bad for are like Quentin Nelson.
43:57
Speaker 2: He's sitting in the locker room.
43:58
Speaker 1: He was asked after practice the other day, you know,
44:01
Speaker 1: are you frustrated because you're not having a quarterback in
44:05
Speaker 1: their year and in a year out when you have
44:07
Speaker 1: a kind of a revolving door of who your guy
44:09
Speaker 1: is going to be? And as politely and we all
44:11
Speaker 1: know Quentin Nelson how good of a guy he is
44:13
Speaker 1: off the field, as politely as as he possibly could
44:16
Speaker 1: say yes, it's very frustrated and not have that cohesiveness,
44:20
Speaker 1: that consistency of having somebody back there that you can
44:23
Speaker 1: build a rapport with week in and week out, year
44:25
Speaker 1: and a year out.
44:26
Speaker 2: So it's like it's hurting them. They've got to find
44:28
Speaker 2: their guy. Is DJ the guy? I don't know?
44:30
Speaker 1: But if Anthony richards not the guy, it's like sometimes
44:34
Speaker 1: you gotta just may a clean cut. Now. The good
44:36
Speaker 1: news for Anthony Richardson Bryce Young, he was benched last year,
44:39
Speaker 1: comes back. He kind of resparked in and reunited like, Okay,
44:42
Speaker 1: maybe we do have something here. He got a little
44:44
Speaker 1: kick in the ass. Baker Mayfield is the first overall
44:47
Speaker 1: pick for the Cleveland Browns. He starts bouncing over the place,
44:49
Speaker 1: kind of resurrects his career when he has a two
44:51
Speaker 1: day notice with the Rams comes by and he has
44:53
Speaker 1: a game winning drive. Now he's found a home in
44:55
Speaker 1: a one hundred million dollar contract at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
44:58
Speaker 1: So there's still hope for him. There's got to be
45:00
Speaker 1: a level of maturity that takes place on understanding of
45:02
Speaker 1: your process, how your mind works, and the best way
45:05
Speaker 1: for you to get from Sunday to Sunday with the
45:07
Speaker 1: answers to the test. He's got to figure that out.
45:10
Speaker 1: No one else can do it for him. Sucks for him.
45:12
Speaker 1: You just kind of hope that they kind of right
45:13
Speaker 1: the ship. It hurts me more than anything is picking
45:16
Speaker 1: the Texas.
45:16
Speaker 5: I mean, Daniel Jones is like a few years ago,
45:18
Speaker 5: he was an elite quarterback. They gave him a deal.
45:20
Speaker 5: We thought he was going to be a stud and
45:22
Speaker 5: he came out and he pretty much shit the bed.
45:24
Speaker 3: Well, there's a lot of you know, there's a lot
45:26
Speaker 3: of evidence in a resume there that you know they're
45:29
Speaker 3: running through like five different offensive line rotations they're working.
45:32
Speaker 3: He's working with the threes. There's not a lot of weapons. Yeah,
45:34
Speaker 3: he had Malik Neighbors last year and stuff, but he
45:37
Speaker 3: hasn't necessarily had a roster to work with. The Colts
45:41
Speaker 3: do have some talent on the roster, so it will
45:43
Speaker 3: be interesting to see. And also at the beginning when
45:45
Speaker 3: they brought Daniel Jones in, they the Colts are saying like,
45:49
Speaker 3: this is a this is a this is an open competition. Yeah,
45:52
Speaker 3: this job isn't Anthony Richardson's. It's not you know, obviously
45:55
Speaker 3: Daniel Jones.
45:55
Speaker 6: But again, everything that's went down over the last couple years,
45:58
Speaker 6: especially last year, like how you saw the Colts operate
46:00
Speaker 6: with Anthony Richmond after he tapped out, after they put
46:03
Speaker 6: into a Flaco, used a few different quarterbacks.
46:05
Speaker 5: It was open competition. It seemed like Daniel Jones won
46:07
Speaker 5: the job out right.
46:08
Speaker 6: Do anyone know if Daniel Jones did the did the
46:12
Speaker 6: Colts take it, pick up his contract or did they
46:14
Speaker 6: give him a new contract and when he.
46:18
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I really they got him at a good price.
46:21
Speaker 6: Okay, And that's cool because if he had the if
46:23
Speaker 6: they took that contract over, he needs to start.
46:26
Speaker 8: He's signed for one year, fourteen million, one year fourteen.
46:30
Speaker 5: They paid him to come in and compete.
46:33
Speaker 7: Do they have any money for a future?
46:34
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, that's a good question.
46:37
Speaker 5: Ireland Join.
46:38
Speaker 1: This episode is brought to you by Michelobultra Superior light Beer.
46:41
Speaker 1: Very fun, the delicious taste of victory deserves something equally superior.
46:45
Speaker 1: Cheer on your team with the Michelobultra at two point
46:48
Speaker 1: six carves and ninety five calories at the Superior smooth
46:50
Speaker 1: taste worth playing for Michelo Ultra Superior Light Beer let's.
46:54
Speaker 2: Get back to this episode.
46:56
Speaker 7: I mean, unless they just tank this next year and
46:58
Speaker 7: get you know, top five pick, which could very well
47:02
Speaker 7: be the case.
47:02
Speaker 1: Got a lot of quarterbacks in the off the case. Yeah,
47:05
Speaker 1: I'm trying to tank. Should we hit NFC. We are
47:08
Speaker 1: getting a little I will.
47:09
Speaker 3: Say we're very excited about camp Moore in the Tennessee Titans.
47:11
Speaker 2: They excited.
47:12
Speaker 1: We are very I think the expectation you need to
47:15
Speaker 1: hold the expectation there win six seven games. I think
47:18
Speaker 1: you need to be proud of the Tennessee Titan fan.
47:19
Speaker 5: I want a lot of this.
47:21
Speaker 1: He's got the attitude like he's in first one in,
47:24
Speaker 1: last one out mentality coach. You got to make him
47:25
Speaker 1: get out of the building like he's got all the stuff.
47:28
Speaker 1: I just don't think he has the pieces right now.
47:30
Speaker 1: I don't think he's pieces right now.
47:31
Speaker 8: You have the winning the ac outright.
47:40
Speaker 2: And the GM may or may not have given me
47:42
Speaker 2: a reason to back him a whole bunch.
47:44
Speaker 5: I just said, we can put them through the table
47:46
Speaker 5: they win. Yeah, we need to go to the parade.
47:49
Speaker 5: Well if they if they win, you can slam them
47:51
Speaker 5: through the table. The super Bowl. We need to be
47:55
Speaker 5: at the at the parade at the Super Bowl.
47:56
Speaker 2: So yeah, so did did the bat?
48:00
Speaker 5: We got the Super Bowl?
48:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, being essentially he bribed us, bribe me
48:05
Speaker 2: into I'm picking up.
48:06
Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's what's I'll go Bills. I think it's
48:12
Speaker 5: up in the air. Bro it is.
48:13
Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's it's all you never knows to happen.
48:16
Speaker 3: Injuries happened, but like, yeah, right now where I sit,
48:21
Speaker 3: reserve the right to change my mind all throughout the year,
48:24
Speaker 3: but right now I'm going.
48:25
Speaker 5: Who should Who is the Bills most afraid of? Though?
48:27
Speaker 5: Right now? Who would you say if the Bills should
48:29
Speaker 5: be Chiefs Broncos? What what I mean? The villain in
48:38
Speaker 5: the Bills, the villain in their story is the chief.
48:40
Speaker 5: I know, I trust me, but I feel like the
48:42
Speaker 5: Chiefs ain't gonna be as good as they were. No,
48:45
Speaker 5: I agree with what you're saying.
48:46
Speaker 7: Who should I'm said, Ravens are I'm taking the rave
48:50
Speaker 7: I'm just I'm.
48:50
Speaker 5: Just asking a question. You just said, what about the Raiders.
48:56
Speaker 2: I'm taking the Ravens. But yeah, I got the Bills. Ravens, Ravens, Bills, Bills. Yeah,
49:03
Speaker 2: that's where we're at.
49:04
Speaker 5: NC, Go ahead, will NFC South. I got the Bucks, Bucks, Bucks.
49:11
Speaker 7: I think they're battling at about nine ten wins with
49:14
Speaker 7: the Falcons. But I think, you know, the Bucks pull
49:17
Speaker 7: it out way you said with the Falcons. The Falcons
49:19
Speaker 7: with panis Yep.
49:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, I mean, I think, I think you're right.
49:23
Speaker 5: Yeah.
49:24
Speaker 2: I think Baker Mayfield. I love his story, I love
49:27
Speaker 2: his attitude.
49:30
Speaker 6: There are some question marks with the Godwin and well
49:33
Speaker 6: he just signed sixty six million dollars contracts, so he
49:36
Speaker 6: coming back.
49:36
Speaker 3: Okay, the injury or what Yeah they're talking about yeah, yeah,
49:39
Speaker 3: the health of him right now. And Tristan Tristian Worfs, Yeah,
49:43
Speaker 3: Christian Worfs.
49:44
Speaker 1: They did it, I mean free agency. They got Hassan Reddick,
49:46
Speaker 1: who was like he sit up the entire sat Yeah,
49:50
Speaker 1: set up for the whole year, but was electric. They
49:52
Speaker 1: get rid of Shack, Barrett Shacks, a little older, longer
49:54
Speaker 1: in the tooth, as you like to say. I think
49:56
Speaker 1: it's a good trade off. I just don't see the
49:59
Speaker 1: Falcons thinking of big step. I think that the Panthers
50:02
Speaker 1: are going to be with the Panther's going to be.
50:03
Speaker 1: I think, you know, they might get a little bit
50:04
Speaker 1: better this year than the Saints. We still don't know
50:06
Speaker 1: who the starting quarterbacks is gonna be. I know Jp
50:08
Speaker 1: Hovey somewhere saying it's got to be a rattler and
50:10
Speaker 1: Kellen Moore new head coach, but like it's the Bucks,
50:13
Speaker 1: it's the Bucks division to lose.
50:14
Speaker 3: Remind me he's just stud and I hate that. I'm
50:17
Speaker 3: forgetting his name right now. Remind me of the running
50:19
Speaker 3: back with the Bucks, Rookie Bucky Irving, Tampa Bacon run
50:26
Speaker 3: the football.
50:27
Speaker 5: Take we talk about you talk about Baker.
50:28
Speaker 3: Mayfield, Evans Godwin, all those, all the weapons he has,
50:32
Speaker 3: They Bucky Irving, they can run the football.
50:35
Speaker 5: I like the Bucks.
50:38
Speaker 1: Their new OC. Like you got to make sure that
50:40
Speaker 1: him and Baker Mesh. He was obviously the offensive passing
50:42
Speaker 1: coordinator last year. He's just walked into a new role
50:45
Speaker 1: of calling the plays now. Hopefully they keep the thinking
50:48
Speaker 1: the same thing going. And Mike Evans, Buddy, he just.
50:51
Speaker 3: Guarantee the eleven championship for an NFC championship. Do you
50:57
Speaker 3: I like him competing. I don't know if I got
50:59
Speaker 3: him right now, but I like winning the division. They
51:02
Speaker 3: are competing, but I'm talking about making a run you're
51:05
Speaker 3: not talking like Bucks. You know they get in, They're
51:07
Speaker 3: probably not gonna go far, right, I'm talking about it.
51:09
Speaker 5: I think they can be You.
51:10
Speaker 1: See them in the NFC yeah, and a nail bighter
51:12
Speaker 1: in the divisional yea yeah, championship game.
51:16
Speaker 5: I mean a division is weak, so they should be fun.
51:18
Speaker 2: Let's get to Let's get to the NFC North, Clay,
51:23
Speaker 2: this is your world.
51:23
Speaker 7: There is my world right here.
51:25
Speaker 2: Are you going to be a homer?
51:27
Speaker 7: Homer all the way Packers plus two thirty? You know
51:30
Speaker 7: what I mean that you wanted me to mix it
51:31
Speaker 7: up and there the easy decision, like you're getting on
51:33
Speaker 7: me for is the Lions, right, But I'm worried about
51:36
Speaker 7: the Lions and losing Aaron Glenn. Uh. Yeah, I'm going
51:41
Speaker 7: going to Chicago.
51:42
Speaker 9: Uh.
51:43
Speaker 7: And then you know with Sam Darnold leaving and you
51:45
Speaker 7: got J. J. McCarthy talking about this not knowing what
51:47
Speaker 7: he's brought. So I think the Packers get up early
51:50
Speaker 7: in the season. I'm not saying they're the best team
51:52
Speaker 7: by the end of the year, but I think it's
51:54
Speaker 7: gonna I think that's gonna be the deepest division, the
51:57
Speaker 7: NFC North, the Black and Blue Division. I got the
51:59
Speaker 7: powers and lines making the playoff. Packers winning it a game.
52:04
Speaker 7: Maybe they're tied, but they got the half game lead.
52:06
Speaker 7: Whatever it is, I think, uh Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs,
52:10
Speaker 7: the receivers kind of you know, their their availability we
52:13
Speaker 7: talk about, you know, they're constantly hurt. True, I forgot
52:20
Speaker 7: about that.
52:20
Speaker 2: I mean, buddy, how could you forget that?
52:22
Speaker 7: We were there?
52:23
Speaker 5: You you still.
52:26
Speaker 7: Thank you? But you know, run game. I think it's
52:31
Speaker 7: the Packers year. I think it's it's they win the
52:33
Speaker 7: NFC North. I think the Lions just they don't put
52:35
Speaker 7: it together. You hear some of this talk coming out
52:37
Speaker 7: of training camp, you know, some inconsistencies on offense. Not
52:40
Speaker 7: sure about the defense. But the Vikings, I'm not all
52:43
Speaker 7: in on them. I think the Packers eat this one out.
52:45
Speaker 5: You haven't even mentioned the Bears.
52:48
Speaker 7: Bears look good on their one drive. But I know, bro,
52:51
Speaker 7: it's preseason, Like I don't even care about I watched
52:54
Speaker 7: your door play the Eagles or whoever it was in
52:56
Speaker 7: week one.
53:00
Speaker 2: Three?
53:01
Speaker 7: Oh yeah, yeah, but that's it. I haven't watched.
53:03
Speaker 1: Any It'll be interesting with Ben Johnson the new Yeah,
53:07
Speaker 1: well him. People were saying, not a leader of men.
53:09
Speaker 6: It was.
53:09
Speaker 1: It was a weird shot at him. But then Caleb
53:13
Speaker 1: Williams unique personality. Is he going to take the step
53:15
Speaker 1: because last year it's like, what are we doing?
53:17
Speaker 7: He's got all the talent.
53:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, too many.
53:18
Speaker 1: Questions marks and Bears, too many question marks with Minnesota
53:20
Speaker 1: for you to sit and like really playing a flag.
53:22
Speaker 7: And the Packers, you know, I know they were what
53:24
Speaker 7: one in four to one and five in divisional games
53:27
Speaker 7: last year, losing to the Bears, losing to the Vikings
53:29
Speaker 7: twice and the Lions twice, But I think they get
53:33
Speaker 7: over on him this year. They continue playing well with
53:36
Speaker 7: the AFC opponents they have the other NFC they also
53:39
Speaker 7: finished did they finished second or third in there in
53:42
Speaker 7: the NFC North, which means they're going to play that
53:44
Speaker 7: Tier three of the NFC right there, which allows him
53:47
Speaker 7: for an easier schedule. So I think just by if
53:50
Speaker 7: you're playing the odds, I think they finished first.
53:52
Speaker 1: You you can definitely sell me on all those points.
53:54
Speaker 1: And I know the Lions they lost lost a few guys,
53:57
Speaker 1: Frank Ragnow, Kevin Zeidler. The thing for me is it's culture, culture, culture,
54:03
Speaker 1: and it's like you watch Netflix quarterback, you watch the quarterback.
54:07
Speaker 1: You watch the way they approach every single week Dan Campbell,
54:11
Speaker 1: the way he is in press conference is the way
54:12
Speaker 1: you go to their training camps and you see that
54:14
Speaker 1: they are truly about bringing this brand up to what
54:17
Speaker 1: they need to be, which is the Super Bowl champions.
54:20
Speaker 1: I I've bought so much stock in them, and I
54:22
Speaker 1: love the idea of my god, I'm forgetting his name,
54:26
Speaker 1: but to Michigan to Electric, he was playing a defensive
54:33
Speaker 1: player of the year mentality who had the statute for
54:35
Speaker 1: it gets the tim fib getting a sack sucks. You
54:39
Speaker 1: see the he's just working in silence. Every once in
54:42
Speaker 1: a while, you'll get on Twitter, you'll get on the Bird.
54:44
Speaker 2: You see a little clippy of him just hitting the corner. Yeah.
54:50
Speaker 1: Piece of view is like, if this dude comes back
54:52
Speaker 1: and they have that type of rush, I think that's
54:55
Speaker 1: what they're missing last year to get over the hump.
54:57
Speaker 7: I've seen some the internet speak some of these video.
55:00
Speaker 7: In one of is one on ones, he looks good.
55:02
Speaker 5: No, I would just.
55:04
Speaker 7: Was hot because that's the type of injury, you know,
55:06
Speaker 7: and he's he's about to get paid. You know, he's
55:08
Speaker 7: this guy and it's just a freak accident. He just
55:10
Speaker 7: got leg whipped, you know, or he leg whipped someone
55:12
Speaker 7: breaks tip fib like you said. But now to see
55:14
Speaker 7: him come back, I'm just happy on a personal level
55:16
Speaker 7: for him that I hope he gets back to where
55:18
Speaker 7: he was at. He's showing it. He's ready to continue
55:21
Speaker 7: what he's doing and get paid for.
55:22
Speaker 2: Good.
55:22
Speaker 1: Thing about a tip fid when you're young, too, it's
55:24
Speaker 1: not like a ligament type of thing. You just hey,
55:26
Speaker 1: put him metal plate in that iron man now, like
55:29
Speaker 1: you kind of as long as you can get over
55:30
Speaker 1: it mentally, a lot of times you go.
55:32
Speaker 7: Back to the same I see that big black pad
55:34
Speaker 7: on his pasty legs like mine. It worries me. But
55:36
Speaker 7: then he he dips under and I go, yeah, he's there.
55:39
Speaker 1: He's kind of got it, got the attitude, and he's
55:41
Speaker 1: he's a great leader too. Once he's out, you're not
55:43
Speaker 1: losing him from a stat standpoint. But it's like like
55:46
Speaker 1: getting a rising tight to lift all boats. Like he
55:48
Speaker 1: brought that defense to a whole new level.
55:50
Speaker 2: So I like the Lions. I'm gonna play my flags
55:52
Speaker 2: the Lions, but I would not be surprised with the packers.
55:53
Speaker 5: Hey, I'm saying with the Lions. I mean they just
55:55
Speaker 5: still got too many threats on the outside. I'm rah Laplorida.
56:01
Speaker 5: You got Jamison Williams and you himns the back. J
56:06
Speaker 5: Gibbs like great offensive line.
56:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, you have two great tackles. Graham Glasgow is one
56:16
Speaker 1: of the more underrated guards in the entire league. H
56:18
Speaker 1: you gotta fix that problem with Frank Ragno. I know
56:20
Speaker 1: he dealt some injuries early, like like last year a lot,
56:23
Speaker 1: which probably led to him retiring a little bit early.
56:27
Speaker 1: You fix that Zeitler being gone, Like, you got three
56:29
Speaker 1: core guys in there that are going to uplift that.
56:32
Speaker 2: I think they're gonna hold the standard.
56:33
Speaker 5: Yeah, I like him a lot. I like him a lot.
56:35
Speaker 3: I'm in line with with Clay. I think the Lions
56:38
Speaker 3: make the playoffs. I think the Packers edge them out.
56:40
Speaker 5: I think there's being in the lot, being in the
56:44
Speaker 5: locker room.
56:45
Speaker 3: I think you're no better, no better spots where you
56:47
Speaker 3: have the roster, you have a good defense, you have
56:50
Speaker 3: the pieces of offense you need.
56:52
Speaker 5: Jordan Love to stay healthy. We know he's light skinned.
56:54
Speaker 5: Them softish can jump up on him and he can
56:56
Speaker 5: be out.
56:56
Speaker 7: Fore, he just had surgery on his left thumb. He
56:58
Speaker 7: tore tore ligaman and and so now he's getting light.
57:00
Speaker 7: You know, we're a couple of weeks away from week one,
57:02
Speaker 7: Like yeah, Star fast.
57:04
Speaker 5: And yeah, yeah, y'all back up. I mean your backup
57:06
Speaker 5: is okay, but.
57:08
Speaker 7: I don't even know who that is.
57:10
Speaker 5: They can win with them, They can win with them.
57:12
Speaker 3: And they can run the football again. They you know,
57:14
Speaker 3: you got Joran Love, but they can run the football.
57:16
Speaker 3: They have good they have good run defense. They return
57:19
Speaker 3: all of these pieces. And when the focus in the building,
57:23
Speaker 3: the urgency can be tailored around winning your division. Because
57:26
Speaker 3: they stumbled in the division last year, even though they
57:29
Speaker 3: still made the playoffs and everything else. But when you
57:31
Speaker 3: can bring the focus in the building to we have
57:33
Speaker 3: to win our division, I think it brings a sense
57:36
Speaker 3: of urgency. With the talent you have on that roster,
57:38
Speaker 3: I think they edge out the Lions.
57:39
Speaker 6: And that's why I like the Packers in the coming
57:42
Speaker 6: out of the North NFC West interesting division.
57:49
Speaker 1: At the end of the day, I'm leaning towards the
57:50
Speaker 1: forty nine ers. You want to kind of look at
57:52
Speaker 1: the Rams and Sean McVay. But then there's all these
57:54
Speaker 1: reports stuff coming out about Stafford.
57:57
Speaker 2: He's got a back issue. He is older.
58:00
Speaker 7: Know how bad it is though, or you haven't practiced.
58:03
Speaker 5: He can just he can just do it.
58:06
Speaker 2: I mean he's tough ast shit.
58:08
Speaker 5: He is shit.
58:09
Speaker 3: And you're talking about man Davante Adamska Nakula, I'm with you.
58:14
Speaker 5: Aaron Williams, Yeah, just got paid.
58:16
Speaker 3: They were nice last year to that young defense, a
58:18
Speaker 3: defensive line, they were all like the first second year time,
58:21
Speaker 3: first second year guys. Yeah, they are animals, bro, They're
58:25
Speaker 3: gonna be good.
58:25
Speaker 7: They're gonna be They're made to win the super Bowl,
58:28
Speaker 7: They're made to win the West. I just I'm just
58:31
Speaker 7: a little worried. And I think you can talk about
58:33
Speaker 7: Sola coming back to the forty nine ers. Obviously it's
58:35
Speaker 7: like sexy for the defense and whatnot. McCaffrey, you know,
58:38
Speaker 7: getting healthy again, it's it's once again. It's one of
58:40
Speaker 7: those ones where it's hard to bet against them. If
58:43
Speaker 7: they can get back to their winning ways once again.
58:45
Speaker 5: They stay healthy.
58:46
Speaker 7: Finishing third in their division, they're gonna have an easier schedule.
58:49
Speaker 7: Let's hope Stafford comes back. But I see I didn't
58:52
Speaker 7: pick him, but I got the Seahawks as a Seahawks
58:56
Speaker 7: as playoff team. That's talk about great defense, run the ball,
59:01
Speaker 7: don't turn it over. Ten wins last year, ten and
59:04
Speaker 7: seven last year, same as the Texans, same as a
59:06
Speaker 7: bunch of the other other teams. Gino Smith whatever he
59:09
Speaker 7: did out there last year and he's not there anymore.
59:10
Speaker 7: But now you're bringing Sam Donald.
59:12
Speaker 5: Shown but you got Sam Donald.
59:15
Speaker 7: Right you you who's the young buck they have? But
59:17
Speaker 7: they yeah, they got yeah, yeah yeah.
59:20
Speaker 5: And so in Zach year from u c l A.
59:24
Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, you do a great yeah.
59:27
Speaker 2: Yeah.
59:27
Speaker 7: I'm just saying they run the ball, don't turn it over,
59:30
Speaker 7: play great defense. I could see they're getting in the playoffs.
59:34
Speaker 7: They could be playing with the forty.
59:36
Speaker 6: Nine ers in the Rams with the offensive coordinator Coupon
59:38
Speaker 6: at Kobet Cobt.
59:43
Speaker 7: A couple ends.
59:43
Speaker 8: And yeah yeah, they also just signed Cooper cup.
59:50
Speaker 7: I was with Coop in twenty nineteen, and you was
59:52
Speaker 7: down in that bet.
59:53
Speaker 5: You was down in that bet. I'm telling you you
59:56
Speaker 5: still got to do it.
59:57
Speaker 7: I got Niners, but I got Ram Seahawks making the playoffs.
1:00:01
Speaker 7: I think I just think, you.
1:00:03
Speaker 5: Know, you know, give me all of them except the Cardinals.
1:00:07
Speaker 1: We're actually expanding the playoff this year and we're taking
1:00:10
Speaker 1: them all. Yeah, I got them niners, dude. I know
1:00:11
Speaker 1: they lost a lot of guys. They lost a lot
1:00:13
Speaker 1: of guys in a free aanency Deebo, Samuel Hargrave. They
1:00:16
Speaker 1: lost a lot of people on their defense. But you
1:00:19
Speaker 1: still got culture. Brock Bowers, brock Bowers, Rock Party, CMC,
1:00:25
Speaker 1: Fred Warner, Trent Williams, George Kittle, like you have the
1:00:30
Speaker 1: nucleus of culture in your locker room. You know, everyone's
1:00:33
Speaker 1: getting older. The sense of urgency is there because of
1:00:36
Speaker 1: the failure of last year.
1:00:38
Speaker 2: This is the year that they have to do.
1:00:40
Speaker 1: Something because I don't know if there's another year. You
1:00:42
Speaker 1: get to sit with that group of guys and say
1:00:45
Speaker 1: they have an opportunity to do something. They gotta stay healthy.
1:00:47
Speaker 1: They're not very deep, but if they can do those
1:00:50
Speaker 1: things and stay healthy, which is borderline impossible, I think
1:00:52
Speaker 1: their contenders.
1:00:53
Speaker 5: I'm actually I'm excited to see I'm excited to see
1:00:56
Speaker 5: them play. Man. I got to do a golf tournament
1:00:58
Speaker 5: with them, and I was hanging with Matt Jones. Man.
1:01:00
Speaker 6: He was actually and I you know, I said some
1:01:02
Speaker 6: stuff about Matt Jones when he played for the Patriots.
1:01:04
Speaker 6: But after hanging out with that dude he is, he's solid.
1:01:08
Speaker 6: I hope he get a shot to go out there
1:01:10
Speaker 6: and ball out and make some plays like just being true.
1:01:12
Speaker 5: For like him. Yeah, he is real. He a real dude, bro, real.
1:01:21
Speaker 5: I feel you. I didn't make my pick, make your pick.
1:01:29
Speaker 3: I'm just gonna go ahead and rock with the boys
1:01:31
Speaker 3: San Francisco, and I'm just gonna go ahead and say
1:01:34
Speaker 3: the insurance policy would not be surprised if the Rams
1:01:38
Speaker 3: and you glow. He kind of talked to me to
1:01:40
Speaker 3: the Seahawks a little bit. It's gonna be a fun
1:01:42
Speaker 3: division too, because it's like Davante Adams and look again,
1:01:48
Speaker 3: it's all health. It's all health between the Rams and
1:01:51
Speaker 3: also the Niners because we did the same song and
1:01:53
Speaker 3: dance last year with the Niners. It's the windows closing.
1:01:56
Speaker 3: This is the time you do it with this group
1:01:58
Speaker 3: of guys. They have him back around this year. Last
1:02:00
Speaker 3: year they showed us they couldn't all stay on the
1:02:02
Speaker 3: field at the same time. I'm gonna rock with them
1:02:04
Speaker 3: because we're tight in. We're tight together. I'm rock with
1:02:08
Speaker 3: the Niners. But I also it's gonna to me it's
1:02:10
Speaker 3: gonna be uh. The Rams are the Niners. If Stafford's healthy,
1:02:14
Speaker 3: I think they have a hell of a squad. I
1:02:15
Speaker 3: think that young I think that young defense is gonna
1:02:17
Speaker 3: be nasty. Stafford is a dog, he's tough at shit.
1:02:21
Speaker 3: He's got Davonte Adams, He's got Pooka Nakula Kyun Williams.
1:02:24
Speaker 3: McVeigh is a brainiac. You also got the same thing
1:02:27
Speaker 3: with shanahann I'll go ahead and give the nod to
1:02:29
Speaker 3: the Niners, but they're.
1:02:31
Speaker 1: Right there from one A, one B for me, that
1:02:33
Speaker 1: clip of Sean mcberry putting up Devanta Adams in front
1:02:35
Speaker 1: of the team. Yeah, and he's the only guy that
1:02:38
Speaker 1: like leaves the Packers, goes to the Raiders, gets a
1:02:41
Speaker 1: little more quiet, goes to the Jets, gets a little
1:02:43
Speaker 1: more quiet. But everyone's still like, still a top five.
1:02:46
Speaker 6: I mean he still can run ross. I mean you
1:02:49
Speaker 6: can see it on film. He's just not getting the
1:02:51
Speaker 6: ball thrown to him right open.
1:02:54
Speaker 1: Receivers only get quiet. Statistically, everyone's kind of like, move
1:02:56
Speaker 1: on with Davanta Adams. Everyone's like, no, no, no, he's still.
1:03:00
Speaker 5: I'm going I'm going Rams. Did you see to do that?
1:03:05
Speaker 2: George I'm sorry.
1:03:07
Speaker 6: They had a meme of him, like you know, have
1:03:08
Speaker 6: you ever been to like a dryer cleaners drying cleaner's
1:03:12
Speaker 6: shop and how they come out on the rack like
1:03:15
Speaker 6: they get your clothes. They had Stafford coming out on
1:03:18
Speaker 6: the rack. Ge't getting ready to play in again, like
1:03:23
Speaker 6: this is a season opener. You see him coming out
1:03:26
Speaker 6: on the rack, drop his ass the field, hopefully his
1:03:30
Speaker 6: back all right, Nah, he should be all right, give him.
1:03:33
Speaker 2: Some your division, your world.
1:03:37
Speaker 5: I think it's the Eagles.
1:03:39
Speaker 3: I think it's the Eagles until like if the Commanders
1:03:42
Speaker 3: are going to compete, the Commanders are gonna be going
1:03:45
Speaker 3: to compete in the East.
1:03:46
Speaker 5: They have to get better on defense.
1:03:48
Speaker 3: They're the only you know, you look at uh you
1:03:51
Speaker 3: know ten, ten of the best, like nine of the
1:03:54
Speaker 3: top ten run defenses.
1:03:56
Speaker 5: All those teams made the playoffs.
1:03:57
Speaker 3: The only alien, the only outre of a bottom run
1:04:01
Speaker 3: defense was Washington that made the playoffs and they made
1:04:04
Speaker 3: an exciting run. But I think if they're gonna push
1:04:07
Speaker 3: to win that division because I think they got the
1:04:08
Speaker 3: ability on offense, I think Jay Daniel's gonna have a
1:04:10
Speaker 3: hell of a year potentially being MVP. Talks early in
1:04:14
Speaker 3: the year and carrying it all the way through. I
1:04:15
Speaker 3: think he's that much of a stud. But if they're
1:04:17
Speaker 3: gonna close the gap and being the guys in the East,
1:04:20
Speaker 3: it's gonna be on defense. I know they've made it
1:04:23
Speaker 3: a focus on run defense, the mentality on defense. I
1:04:26
Speaker 3: know they let Jonathan Allen go. They got some different
1:04:29
Speaker 3: guys on the defensive line, but that's where that's where
1:04:32
Speaker 3: Washington can gain ground.
1:04:33
Speaker 5: But I do have the Eagles.
1:04:35
Speaker 3: To me, it's like, as long as that team's put together,
1:04:36
Speaker 3: they have aliens everywhere, and I don't see him slowing
1:04:40
Speaker 3: down unless something happens, and it would start at the
1:04:43
Speaker 3: quarterback position, unless something happens with Jalen Hurts and there's
1:04:47
Speaker 3: moments where he misses receivers and there's a.
1:04:49
Speaker 5: Little drama that starts to happen. Other than that, I
1:04:51
Speaker 5: don't see the Eagles slowing down. I mean, they did
1:04:53
Speaker 5: do some added on defense, they added von Miller, so
1:04:56
Speaker 5: hopefully he get right.
1:04:57
Speaker 1: But you were telling you this is this is vond
1:04:59
Speaker 1: Miller twenty twenty five. He had six sacs last year
1:05:01
Speaker 1: in twelve games. Like he like, he's still a guy.
1:05:05
Speaker 5: You have to lose. But again we're talking.
1:05:10
Speaker 3: We're talking in the past game like if Washington is
1:05:13
Speaker 3: going to get bedder, it has to be the run defense.
1:05:17
Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, And Vaughan's not a guy you're bringing in. No, no, no.
1:05:20
Speaker 1: The Commander straight me is like a in a very
1:05:22
Speaker 1: unique way, like the way the Bengals draft Joe Burrow
1:05:25
Speaker 1: and the next year, like you gotta get a tackle,
1:05:26
Speaker 1: you gotta do this, like we're gonna, we're gonna, we're
1:05:28
Speaker 1: gonna double down on just getting more weapons, and they
1:05:30
Speaker 1: end up going to the Super Bowl that year. The
1:05:33
Speaker 1: thing that takes me away from the Eagles is just history.
1:05:35
Speaker 1: Like the last time NFC East won the back to
1:05:38
Speaker 1: back titles, it was two thousand and four, and so
1:05:41
Speaker 1: every year it's been somebody else. It's always just kind
1:05:44
Speaker 1: of switched Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, and also just been a
1:05:48
Speaker 1: revolving door who the champion is going to be. I
1:05:50
Speaker 1: love the addition of Lamby Tunzel. I love the addition
1:05:53
Speaker 1: to Deebo Samuel. I think Jane Daniels Janie yeah him.
1:05:58
Speaker 1: I think because of history, I think the Eagles are
1:06:01
Speaker 1: absolute juggernauts. They're gonna make the playoffs. I think having fun,
1:06:06
Speaker 1: having a good time seeing how exciting they could be
1:06:08
Speaker 1: making to the NFC championship last year. I'm gonna go
1:06:11
Speaker 1: with the Commanders. It's a fun division to watch.
1:06:14
Speaker 6: Fun but you know, if you look at the talks
1:06:16
Speaker 6: and what people saying, you know, second year quarterbacks usually
1:06:19
Speaker 6: coming in they have a down spout, like because people
1:06:21
Speaker 6: started figuring him out, learning statistics, know what they like
1:06:24
Speaker 6: to do. I'm scared that he has a drop off
1:06:27
Speaker 6: this year. That's the only JS Daniels have a drop off.
1:06:30
Speaker 6: That's the only part.
1:06:33
Speaker 7: That's That's what I'm thinking. I'm saying, it's Philadelphia is
1:06:37
Speaker 7: you know, obviously Washington last year they made the playoffs
1:06:40
Speaker 7: in that incredible run. But ultimately I think J Daniels
1:06:44
Speaker 7: takes a step back. And that doesn't mean he's not exciting.
1:06:46
Speaker 7: He showed in this preseason game, you know, he had
1:06:48
Speaker 7: some scramble for a touchdown like he's gonna make electric plays.
1:06:50
Speaker 7: I just don't know if, like if that was anomaly
1:06:53
Speaker 7: last year. But like you said, now we figure out
1:06:55
Speaker 7: how to guard him, how to contain him, make him
1:06:58
Speaker 7: pass whatever it may be. I think it's he can
1:07:00
Speaker 7: throw the rock.
1:07:01
Speaker 3: He can throw, but it isn't comparable in the league.
1:07:03
Speaker 3: Ite'ts Lamar Jackson. I mean j Neals had you know,
1:07:05
Speaker 3: all those pass years, he had over eight hundred rushing yard,
1:07:08
Speaker 3: like he can sling the rock.
1:07:11
Speaker 5: He also hurt too, du He also got hurt the ball.
1:07:14
Speaker 5: He also got hurt running the ball.
1:07:15
Speaker 6: And they had a Marcus Mariota that can come in
1:07:17
Speaker 6: and almost simulate the same thing he was doing.
1:07:20
Speaker 5: But do they have that back up Marcus dominated dominate.
1:07:23
Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying, So you he will get hurt because,
1:07:26
Speaker 6: like you said, he does like to run the ball,
1:07:28
Speaker 6: He likes to take chances. He put the team on
1:07:30
Speaker 6: his back, and his his catastrophical plays was sixteen percent.
1:07:34
Speaker 5: That's really high. Whatever however you say it was very Spanish, Yeah, catastrophic,
1:07:42
Speaker 5: it was high.
1:07:42
Speaker 6: It was sixteen percent because he threw a lot of
1:07:44
Speaker 6: interceptions or took a lot of sacks. I mean he
1:07:46
Speaker 6: didn't have a lot of intercept he had four, but
1:07:48
Speaker 6: he took a lot of sacks when he should have
1:07:50
Speaker 6: threw the ball away.
1:07:50
Speaker 5: These are things he needs to learn or learn from
1:07:53
Speaker 5: or it's going to hurt him in the long run.
1:07:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't, haven't the awareness.
1:07:57
Speaker 5: I got him on the playoffs, into the talent.
1:08:01
Speaker 3: How deep the Eagles are on defense, off, they got
1:08:05
Speaker 3: everything every when.
1:08:06
Speaker 2: We went to their camp, every every position group you there, like,
1:08:09
Speaker 2: oh shit, I know he was on the team.
1:08:10
Speaker 5: Yeah, this guy you don't even play because there's so many.
1:08:13
Speaker 1: Good they really, they really had a stack emphasis. They
1:08:20
Speaker 1: really have a stack squad out there. But I like,
1:08:23
Speaker 1: I want to get excited about the Commanders. I want to,
1:08:26
Speaker 1: so I'm kind of just talking myself into the into
1:08:29
Speaker 1: them over the Eagles. But and also two thousand and four,
1:08:32
Speaker 1: last time anybody went back to.
1:08:33
Speaker 2: Back it was the Eagles.
1:08:39
Speaker 7: So I got the Eagles, Egles, Eagles.
1:08:46
Speaker 1: I don't know, give me the Lions. For the same
1:08:48
Speaker 1: reason as I said, culture, culture, culture, you gotta have it.
1:08:51
Speaker 7: Will I like the packers of the Rams, So you
1:08:57
Speaker 7: switched back to the to the Rams right at You
1:09:00
Speaker 7: don't even know who I.
1:09:01
Speaker 5: Gave what I gave the team just sitting here talking
1:09:03
Speaker 5: ball with all y'all.
1:09:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, these guys are probably just like Will change five.
1:09:08
Speaker 5: Hey, who did I have as my NFC winner?
1:09:19
Speaker 7: It's get talking the Rams.
1:09:22
Speaker 6: Or as I had the Lions. I'm gonna go us
1:09:29
Speaker 6: I'm gonna go packers like it, Go pack, go, go
1:09:33
Speaker 6: pack Go. Who'd you take?
1:09:36
Speaker 7: I got the Eagles. I got the Eagles.
1:09:37
Speaker 1: MVP brought to you by True Classic, True Classic m
1:09:42
Speaker 1: v ps. My m v P Josh Allen. See him
1:09:44
Speaker 1: and see him practice. I picked them to win the
1:09:47
Speaker 1: a f C, to win their division, and spoiler alert,
1:09:50
Speaker 1: I'm picking them to win the Super Bowl. Your boy's
1:09:51
Speaker 1: gonna be at the parade. I'll be diving through tables,
1:09:54
Speaker 1: pouring mustard of myself. It's all in the back of
1:09:55
Speaker 1: the hard work of Josh Allen. Go to practice, see
1:09:58
Speaker 1: him miss two passes. He goes in, shakesweall and ice
1:10:00
Speaker 1: hands like an appolute jackass. And he's gonna just tell
1:10:03
Speaker 1: he's relaxed, he's cool, calm and confident. He's he's doubling
1:10:07
Speaker 1: down the MVP this year.
1:10:08
Speaker 6: I'm taking Jalen Hurts to win the NFL m VP.
1:10:12
Speaker 6: I think they got the best team in football. And
1:10:14
Speaker 6: it don't just take one player. Takes a team for
1:10:16
Speaker 6: a player to get an m v P. And that's
1:10:18
Speaker 6: what's gonna happen with the Eagles.
1:10:19
Speaker 5: Baby, My MVP Joe Burrow.
1:10:22
Speaker 7: Joe Burrow just that's it, Bill Burrow, Joe Burrow, I
