  Speaker 1: to reach their hearts and minds and be able to

  Speaker 1: apply these verses to their lives. In the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: Christ's name I pray. Amen. So we're going to be

  Speaker 1: in 2 Corinthians chapter... 10 verse 5 and then we'll

  Speaker 1: get a little bit deeper in 10 and I'll give

  Speaker 1: 2 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 5 states, People may speak

  Speaker 1: proud ideas that stop other people from knowing God. That's

  Speaker 1: a powerful sentence right there. People may speak proud ideas

  Speaker 1: that stop other people from knowing God. So, what a

  Speaker 1: lot of people face that believe and follow Christ is
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: a lot of criticism. And it's not constructive criticism either.

  Speaker 1: There's a lot of things that it's really harmful, hurtful,

  Speaker 1: the things people say, more than a physical beatdown sometimes. So,

  Speaker 1: as I continue to connect spiritually with the Holy Spirit

  Speaker 1: each and every day, I realize people's ways. And it's

  Speaker 1: the people that you love most that will hurt you
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: the most. But Jesus won't. Ooh, amen. Let me get

  Speaker 1: deeper into it. We show that those ideas are completely wrong.

  Speaker 1: We change the way people think so that they want
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: to obey Christ. It's kind of hard. To disappoint the Lord.

  Speaker 1: When you're increasing. Your love. For the Lord. By being

  Speaker 1: in prayer. Being in meditation. Being in the word. It's

  Speaker 1: very hard. And there's some. That may say. This is

  Speaker 1: all forms of brainwash. There's different programs for different people.

  Speaker 1: That are going through different. Addictions. Addictions. And when you

  Speaker 1: get out of that, there has to be some sort of,

  Speaker 1: not only just spiritual awakening, but you have to be
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: able to pick a side. And there's so many religions,
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: and there's so many different cultures. But as I get

  Speaker 1: deeper into this, I want everyone to know that I'm
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: not trying to tell you to become A full blown
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: on Christian. This Bible study. Is to show what the

  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit is about. You know. Being able to understand. That.

  Speaker 1: To obey Christ. Is to follow him. Right. And I'm

  Speaker 1: not trying to make this poetry. But I'm trying to

  Speaker 1: make it ABC 123. Because what man has done. And

  Speaker 1: what Jesus was. Was representing. When he came here. Obviously

  Speaker 1: as God. What he. Was trying to destroy. Was what
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: the Pharisees had built. Wasn't just his temple. That got.

  Speaker 1: Brushed around. And. Broken. Broken. but not crushed. The marketplace

  Speaker 1: was also a place that got turned upside down, tables,

  Speaker 1: by Jesus. Jesus hated sin. Sorry, I just had a

  Speaker 1: moment of just, not necessarily clarity, but it's just realization

  Speaker 1: that You know, the Spirit is here and I don't

  Speaker 1: have to try to cover something that I don't understand.

  Speaker 1: When I get into 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 10

  Speaker 1: Let's go there. Because the Spirit is leading. 2 Corinthians

  Speaker 1: chapter 5 states, Because all of us must go and

  Speaker 1: stand in front of Christ as our judge, He will

  Speaker 1: decide about the things that we have done during our
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: lives here on earth, whether we have done good things

  Speaker 1: or bad things. We will receive what is right for us.

  Speaker 1: Karma is going to get us eventually, people. Karma is
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: going to get us eventually, people. You might as well
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: go ahead and not only just try to repent, but
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: come to the Lord as is. Because your sins are
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: going to be covered. That doesn't mean they're going to
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: be taken away like a magic trick. But what really

  Speaker 1: happens is that the transition happens. The more and more
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: that you stay away from sinning, that doesn't mean that
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: you might not dip back into it. That's the thing.

  Speaker 1: That's a fall. But you get back up. Just like

  Speaker 1: when you were an infant and you tried to learn

  Speaker 1: how to walk. You fell so many times but eventually

  Speaker 1: you got it. It's the same concept. Following Christ. Believing

  Speaker 1: in Christ. You're not going to get it right. Don't

  Speaker 1: be deceived by some of these Religious leaders that you
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: see on TV or on the internet. Or at your
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: local church. They put their pants on the same way

  Speaker 1: you do. The difference is a lot of them are
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: actually being. Ruled by the Holy Spirit. Some of them
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: it's their own spirit. But what I want to make
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: clear is that. I really. Know that. We're all imperfect.

  Speaker 1: But Jesus was perfect. Why not be in connection with
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: a source like that? When it is possible. When there's
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: so many testimonies out here with people that have strong faith.

  Speaker 1: Are these millions of people's Are we just lying to ourselves?
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: Are we lying to others? Of course not. When it's
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: that true love that is pumping through you, there's no
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: denying it. People will hate on it. People will laugh
• 8:43
  Speaker 1: about it. But the truth of the matter is, Your life.

  Speaker 1: Is in shackles. People places things. The fear that has

  Speaker 1: driven you. Right? You listen to the enemy. Now I'm

  Speaker 1: not here to be. Your saving grace. I'm here to.

  Speaker 1: Say a few verses and let the spirit. Do its thing. Somebody.

  Speaker 1: That is listening to this episode. And has a depression. That.

  Speaker 1: Does not have. The authority. To longer stay. And you

  Speaker 1: got to let it go. You gotta let it go.

  Speaker 1: and the more and more you say oh it's not

  Speaker 1: easy it's not this your words have power you must

  Speaker 1: have words of power over your circumstance not the other

  Speaker 1: way around and your circumstances have words over your power

  Speaker 1: or power over your words When we speak and say

  Speaker 1: we're tired. You're setting yourself up. Even if you feel tired.

  Speaker 1: Even if you think negative things. Don't speak them out loud.

  Speaker 1: As much as possible. Because the more and more that...

  Speaker 1: You understand... That God. Is not only just waiting on you. Right.

  Speaker 1: You've been waiting on him. We talk about. Changing the

  Speaker 1: way that we think. By how the verse started of

  Speaker 1: the day. People may speak. It also says we change
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: the way that people think. How do you do that?

  Speaker 1: By how you speak. Sometimes it is in protective situations

  Speaker 1: to match people's energies. But there are some times where
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: you just gotta just let people be. Let them go
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: through their own emotion. Let them do what they're supposed
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: to do. And let them process what it is they do.

  Speaker 1: But at the end of the day. You got to

  Speaker 1: be by yourself. And it's so much better to have

  Speaker 1: a source. That you can tap into. And that's the
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. Amen. So we're about to close out. I

  Speaker 1: and talk about just a little bit not Bible study related.

  Speaker 1: But when I'm in love, no matter what happens, I

  Speaker 1: give it my all. So if the relationship falls apart,

  Speaker 1: that's okay. Because then maybe I gave too much of
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: myself away. But for the right person, they'll be patient.

  Speaker 1: And it won't feel such as a force. And I
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: do believe the woman that I am with, as of
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: right now, as I record this, is the love of
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: my life, my soulmate. That does not always mean that
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: she sees it that way. And that's okay. I've always
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: been patient. Of course... The instant chemistry, the connection made
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: me want to meet her right away. And it was said.
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: But it was also things that got in the way. Insecurities,
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: trust issues, surveillance. And there's a lot of things that
• 13:31
  Speaker 1: I needed to hear too, though. So I'm not going
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: to make any excuses or have any regrets. But apologetic, yes.

  Speaker 1: So I tell everybody this. A walking poet, a walking podcaster,
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: a walking recording artist as well. The Ember Show. Your host, Ember.

  Speaker 1: Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I've tried to live for

  Speaker 1: the world. I've tried to live for myself. I've tried

  Speaker 1: to live for women. Now I live for Jesus Christ

  Speaker 1: and it's the best thing. decision I ever made and
• 14:50
