  Speaker 1: one and only Seve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah man,

  Speaker 1: got work. Hey. You know, I thought I think of

  Speaker 1: my life in terms of blessings. You know, I take
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: mostly a positive approach and a positive spin to my life.

  Speaker 1: I hardly ever dwell on you know, the what's well.

  Speaker 1: I can't say that I don't think about the what's
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: wrong in it because I have to, because I have
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: to address problems as they arise. But I try not
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: to let them consume me. I let the consumption part
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: be about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: in my life, the good things that God has done
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: for me, the power that He's displayed in my life,
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: the protection He's given me over the years, to being
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: tucked under his wings. Focus on the things that He
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: promises me. I think of all the goodness that I
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: perceive to come my way. I think that has a
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: lot to do with me learning more and more about
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: the law of attraction in terms of you know, what
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: you think and what you put out in the space
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: and what you pray about is what you receive. You know,
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: and so I've become better and better at that. It's
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: not to say that I'm not human and I don't
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: have moments where I think a little bit too long
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: about what's going wrong and what enemy is about to
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: attack and what they're going to do and say and
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: and all of is his. That's not to say that
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: I'm not concerned about it. But I try to dwell
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: mostly on the positive. And one of the things that
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: I learned, you can have an incredible life, all of us.
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: We can have incredible lives if we just let God drive.
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: See the problem that I had years ago was I
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: was the driver of my life, and I was taking
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: myself in the directions that I thought would be best
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: for me, and I aimed at things that I thought
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: I could accomplish, and I set goals that I saw
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: myself being able to attain. I was driving. When I
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: gave up and I let God drive. I then opened
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: up my mind and my spirit to what God had
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: for me, for what God could see for me, for
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: what God could do in my life. Well, for what
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: God wanted for me. Now he wanted for me, and
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: he wanted of me. See that's the connection that you
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: got to try to make well, not try. That's the
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: connection that you got to make to really get it. Now,
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: listen to me. What I don't want you to do
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: is do like me. Don't be afraid of the what
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: for of the what he wants you to do part, see,
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: because that ain't gonna be nearly as demanding and as
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: offsetting as you think it's gonna be. See. I thought
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: that if I did God's will, that if I let
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: God tell me what to do, that it would cause
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: me to not to be able to do a certain
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: some things I wanted to do well, which is true.
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: But the stuff I wanted to do was all detrimental
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: to my well being and my future and my growth
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: and development as a man. I was stopping my own
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: growth as a man because see, I was doing what
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: I thought I should do as a man. But when
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: you give it over to God, see, God has a
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: much better plan for you than you can ever have
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: for yourself. And God knows a better way, far better
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: than the one you know. I want you to believe that. Man,
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: You got to understand that part of it. And that's
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: the part that I finally got through my head to
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: let God do it his way and to show me
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: a better way, and to teach me a better way
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: and expose to me a better way. And when I
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: opened up my mind to what God was talking about,
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: I began to see things totally differently, and things started
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: coming to me totally differently. If you've been a friend
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: of mine or a fan of mine over the years,
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: I mean, you've had to see it, the change. You've
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: had to see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: that every chance I get, because I promised God I would,
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: and I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: But then again, if I told it all day long,
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: would he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me,
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: or I'm complete, because I'm still shocked. You can't be him.
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: Quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: of perfection. It's something that you cannot have because he
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: said you can't do it. But that's what he'd have for.
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: He'd have for the moments when you stumble and you fall,
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: and you go stumble and fall. See, you got to
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: get that part right, man, The stumbling falling part is coming.
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: But see, you get God in your life and it
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow roll,
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: over lay their languish. That's what God is for. So
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: when you stumbling fall, you get back up because you're
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong.
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: going to happen to you the moment you make a
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: decision to do better, the moment you try to be more.
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: controls certain people. He just got people that's on his side.
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: Twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all met
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: one or two of the men in your life. They
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: just busy with the business of the nothingness. They just
• 6:02
  Speaker 1: busy about about the destruction of others. You said, I
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: know them, you know them. They coming. But here's what
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: you gotta hold fast too. They can't take away nothing
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: people who claim to have made you, if they so
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: in to make you business, why don't they make theirself?
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: Or if they ain't with you no more? And they
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: so busy in them I made you business, why don't
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: they make somebody else? Since you want to get credit
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: for making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: careful of that, and don't change your course because somebody
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: is attacking you with that. I just hope, man, that
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: I'm giving it to God the way I said I
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: would give it to him, that I would unload every
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: chance I got that I was opposed to without being
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: you know, or here he come again? You know. I

  Speaker 1: try not to be that, but man, I don't know
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: what else to be. For the first twelve minutes of
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: my show. What else you want me to say? I

  Speaker 1: got four hours. I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: I mean for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: let's look at this right here. If you've given honor
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: gave you twenty four hours of luxury and life and
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: to give him out the day. That don't make no sense.
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: What in exchange? What a wonderful life God has given
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: me in exchange for so small of effort that I
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: put forth. Don't let the effort you got to put
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: forth to God seems so dawning that you don't attempt
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: to do it, because man, it seems like a lot.
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: It ain't nothing to compare to what He be giving
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: us for real. So if you want a real life,
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: you want a real shot at what you can be,
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: what you can have, what you can own, what you
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: can become who you really are, go to God. Let
• 7:57
