- 0:33Speaker 2: And well.
- 0:33Speaker 3: The bottom line is, yeah, I'm pretty neat and now
- 0:39Speaker 3: handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen. Here's Bill Handle.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Good morning kaf I AM six forty live everywhere on
- 0:51Speaker 3: the iHeartRadio app p Thursday, Neil sbigger in the morning.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Crew Handles having some technical issues could be as microphone,
- 1:00Speaker 3: could be his brain. One won't know until we get
- 1:06Speaker 3: started here, but they're going to figure that out. Of course.
- 1:09Speaker 3: The team is all here. We have this light change
- 1:12Speaker 3: of Brook, Heather Brooker. Heather, We're gonna we're gonna like
- 1:17Speaker 3: in film and television, like the Gaffer, You're gonna be
- 1:20Speaker 3: Heather the Brook Brooker.
- 1:22Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Yeah, how are you good?
- 1:24Speaker 2: I'm good. Good morning, sir.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Nice to see you. Heard you talk about David Busters
- 1:29Speaker 3: and made me want to go play some games with
- 1:30Speaker 3: the fam.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Such a fun little place.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Not the raving stuff.
- 1:34Speaker 4: I don't do the raves, I don't feel I feel
- 1:38Speaker 4: like you probably have done raves before.
- 1:40Speaker 3: No, no, no, I don't like the drugs and the.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Can you do a rave without drugs? Though?
- 1:48Speaker 3: I don't know, but I think you can. Okay? And
- 1:54Speaker 3: good morning Ann Hi, good morning, congratulations you leading the
- 1:58Speaker 3: team to number one. Look, there's there's no race without
- 2:05Speaker 3: a rider. Someone needs to be on that horse.
- 2:08Speaker 5: I am on that horse. I think Will has something
- 2:11Speaker 5: for us too.
- 2:12Speaker 3: What's that?
- 2:13Speaker 5: I think Will has something for us too.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Oh, Will, what's going on?
- 2:17Speaker 2: We got some big news story today.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Well it's on the side.
- 2:21Speaker 6: It's news and traffic. Yeah, it's uh. West Hollywood's basically underwater,
- 2:25Speaker 6: you know.
- 2:26Speaker 3: It's uh.
- 2:27Speaker 6: I'm looking at we have this huge water main break
- 2:30Speaker 6: Sunset and Holloway top of the hill there and all
- 2:33Speaker 6: the water. Of course, naturally he's going downhill and all
- 2:36Speaker 6: those little streets that go north south down to Santa
- 2:38Speaker 6: Monica Boulevard and completely flooded cars that were parked along
- 2:41Speaker 6: the sides of those streets are all like kind of
- 2:44Speaker 6: floating down the hill. It's and Santa Monica Boulevard is
- 2:48Speaker 6: completely underwater, including the MTA bus barn where they store
- 2:52Speaker 6: all the buses overnight, so they can't for the most
- 2:55Speaker 6: part get out. That's that's hundreds of buses for all
- 2:59Speaker 6: of West la that are not going to be running today.
- 3:02Speaker 6: So it's a it's an interesting time in good old
- 3:05Speaker 6: who today. They say water may not be running to
- 3:09Speaker 6: residents or businesses for a long, long, long long time. Yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 6: so we're keeping an eye on that. Don't go to
- 3:15Speaker 6: West Hollywood if you can avoid it today.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yeah we haven't.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Yeah, we haven't gotten official word about street closures in
- 3:22Speaker 4: the area, but there most definitely will be, so like
- 3:25Speaker 4: will said, avoid the area. Ellie County Fire Department captain says,
- 3:30Speaker 4: three different water companies are on the scene there trying
- 3:33Speaker 4: to figure out whose pipe it is that actually is
- 3:36Speaker 4: the one that broke.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's I love it.
- 3:41Speaker 4: And then they're trying to shut them down little by little.
- 3:44Speaker 4: There isn't like some master switch they can pull and
- 3:47Speaker 4: just sort of turn the water off, so they're trying
- 3:50Speaker 4: to figure out whose pipe it is where the water's
- 3:52Speaker 4: coming from. And then they're shutting it off incrementally, so
- 3:54Speaker 4: that's why, like Will said, this could be happening for
- 3:58Speaker 4: several more hours. And the video that we're seeing here
- 4:01Speaker 4: is literally showing cars that were parked on the street
- 4:04Speaker 4: being flooded, some of them being pushed on the road.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Trash cans definitely being swept down.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Yeah, you've lot trash can forage, Yeah, for sure.
- 4:11Speaker 4: So it's a mess in that area West Hollywood again,
- 4:14Speaker 4: Harritt Street in West Hollywood, a Holloway Drive, Sunset Boulevard.
- 4:20Speaker 4: The water is going down to Santa Monica in that
- 4:22Speaker 4: area near the Pacific Design Center, I think is where
- 4:26Speaker 4: it is as well.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So just a mess in that area this morning.
- 4:28Speaker 6: And this is all just old age. These pipes, a
- 4:31Speaker 6: lot of them are one hundred years old and.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Oh they're clay, yeah, and they're lay.
- 4:35Speaker 6: And we haven't even had a Can you imagine if
- 4:37Speaker 6: there's a major earthquake or something. This wasn't even an earthquake.
- 4:40Speaker 3: This is just I'm giving up the pipe. All these
- 4:43Speaker 3: things are are long past their expiration date, and we
- 4:47Speaker 3: saw a bunch of them in the past eight years
- 4:52Speaker 3: or so popping off and it's ridiculous. What it takes
- 4:56Speaker 3: to shut one of these things down. Not my job,
- 4:59Speaker 3: that's not my pipe. Not my pipe, Yes, shut it down.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Weho Is is a weird place because it's a newer
- 5:07Speaker 6: city and so half of the pipes belong to La
- 5:10Speaker 6: City DWP and the other half belonged to Beverly Hills
- 5:14Speaker 6: Water Bureau. I used to live there, So depending on
- 5:16Speaker 6: what side of the street you lived on, it could
- 5:18Speaker 6: be a different company it was. You know, it didn't
- 5:20Speaker 6: used to be a city of its own.
- 5:22Speaker 4: And I think one thing that people need to be
- 5:24Speaker 4: aware of too, and that we're working on to try
- 5:26Speaker 4: to get more information about, is those metro buses. There's
- 5:29Speaker 4: dozens of metro buses that are in the as Will said,
- 5:33Speaker 4: the metro yard. They're in who and they are flooded.
- 5:38Speaker 4: They cannot get out. Yeah, and so it's going to
- 5:42Speaker 4: have a significant impact on public transportation today as well.
- 5:46Speaker 4: We're going to try to nail down some more information
- 5:49Speaker 4: on that for you as well. And by we, I
- 5:51Speaker 4: mean me and Carla because we're the only people in
- 5:54Speaker 4: the news team today.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Well that's all I need.
- 5:58Speaker 2: We just need me and Arla.
- 6:00Speaker 3: You guys will get it done, for sure.
- 6:03Speaker 2: We'll keep you guys updated on this.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Mess excellent, Thanks Cono. Good morning. Shall we start handle
- 6:10Speaker 3: on the news lead story in texascondest we talked about
- 6:16Speaker 3: Todd Blanche and wanting to become attorney general. It can
- 6:22Speaker 3: come down to one person, John corn corn Yan corn
- 6:30Speaker 3: corneyin Cornyan Corny.
- 6:33Speaker 2: All right, let's go with what Cono said.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Thanks Conoh, so, he repletely, repeatedly told members of the
- 6:40Speaker 3: Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday that the one point eight billion
- 6:44Speaker 3: dollar anti weaponization fund he helped launch as acting Attorney
- 6:49Speaker 3: General was now in fact Dad, but one Republican on
- 6:54Speaker 3: the panel isn't sold and that's who is pushing back.
- 6:59Speaker 4: All right, We've been talking about a little bit this
- 7:01Speaker 4: morning on wake Up Call. President Trump is going to
- 7:04Speaker 4: give a primetime speech tonight and sources are saying that
- 7:09Speaker 4: he is planning to talk about the election fraud, our
- 7:14Speaker 4: claiming election fraud from the twenty twenty election. And however,
- 7:20Speaker 4: you know, topics can change. They say he could change
- 7:22Speaker 4: his mind at any moment. He's been claiming that there
- 7:25Speaker 4: was voter fraud that contributed to his loss in twenty twenty,
- 7:29Speaker 4: even though officials have found no evidence of any widespread
- 7:32Speaker 4: voter fraud. So but President Trump put on social media
- 7:36Speaker 4: that he is planning to announce some quote really big
- 7:39Speaker 4: news and mentioned the importance of quote free and fair elections.
- 7:45Speaker 4: So he's kind of telling us what he's probably going
- 7:47Speaker 4: to talk about. We'll see, though it could be it
- 7:51Speaker 4: could be a wild time. He's going to be live
- 7:54Speaker 4: on the TV.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Uh, I got this socks sucked. Jordan needs to be
- 7:59Speaker 3: our eyes. I gotta do my hair. I'm going to
- 8:02Speaker 3: put it on the list.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Put it on the list.
- 8:05Speaker 3: We shall see.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Well, we're doing a little fun game for wake up call.
- 8:08Speaker 4: I've got people weighing in to see, like betting on
- 8:11Speaker 4: kind of what we think he's going to talk about.
- 8:13Speaker 3: There's no prize, but they all pretty much nailed that
- 8:17Speaker 3: he's going to talk about himself. And I will tell
- 8:20Speaker 3: you six years ago, I just move on.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a minute.
- 8:26Speaker 3: It's got a If there was some widespread issue, you
- 8:31Speaker 3: could probably rig a local election, little city election, probably
- 8:36Speaker 3: like that. National gets very very very difficult in my
- 8:41Speaker 3: own personal opinion. All Right, more shake up at the
- 8:47Speaker 3: White House, this time taking phones, getting information, another investigation.
- 8:52Speaker 3: This all has to do with the leak we know
- 8:54Speaker 3: that the president in chief there does not like who
- 9:01Speaker 3: would Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, President Donald Trump's closest aid,
- 9:06Speaker 3: and of course cash pitel FBI directed there helped personally
- 9:10Speaker 3: orchestrate this big time investigation last week at the White House.
- 9:14Speaker 3: They're really just looking to determine who in the government
- 9:17Speaker 3: there leaked information about the possibility of security deficiencies in
- 9:22Speaker 3: that Katari gifted airplane. It was meant to be used
- 9:26Speaker 3: as Air Force one. As we all know, Trump has
- 9:29Speaker 3: been very vocal about not liking the current Air Force one,
- 9:33Speaker 3: wanting it to be updated and all of those things.
- 9:36Speaker 3: And we all heard. Matter of fact, Amy King had
- 9:39Speaker 3: someone on wake up call saying, and I can't remember
- 9:43Speaker 3: who it was saying that, Yeah, that was the word
- 9:46Speaker 3: that was coming down was that it did not have
- 9:49Speaker 3: certain safety precautions or anti ballistic or whatever it was.
- 9:54Speaker 3: That which is why he switched planes in between, because
- 10:00Speaker 3: the long range missiles could have knocked it out of
- 10:03Speaker 3: the sky and that pissed him off. All right, Handles
- 10:06Speaker 3: having a little technical difficulty, and we'll pop back on
- 10:09Speaker 3: as soon as possible. So you've got me and Heather
- 10:14Speaker 3: Brooker back to handle on the news.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I mean that's a win, to be honest.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, Heather and Nick so back together again.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Yes, welcome to Christmas in July. Neil, how's your testosterone?
- 10:29Speaker 3: That's a little personal. I'm I don't know where my
- 10:32Speaker 3: tea is.
- 10:32Speaker 2: How's your tea is it? Is it love?
- 10:36Speaker 4: Don't tell Pete Hagzath Because the Defense Secretary announced that
- 10:40Speaker 4: he is going to be rolling out a new screening
- 10:42Speaker 4: program to test for testosterone deficiency among the troops. He
- 10:48Speaker 4: says it is absolutely necessary for them to be at
- 10:51Speaker 4: their absolute best. Troops under thirty can volunteer to be tested,
- 10:56Speaker 4: but everybody else I will get an annual test toosterone
- 11:00Speaker 4: test as part of the service members required medical screening.
- 11:07Speaker 4: That feels very invasive.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 11:10Speaker 3: As the military. I hate to break it to you.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I know it is a shape your head, take away
- 11:15Speaker 3: your identity. They break you down.
- 11:16Speaker 2: But you sign up for that. You don't sign up
- 11:18Speaker 2: to have your testosterone testing.
- 11:20Speaker 3: You sign up. You give your body to Uncle Sam.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Is what you do. That's the reality. You know how
- 11:26Speaker 3: many friends went in the military and would write me,
- 11:29Speaker 3: they're breaking me. They're breaking me.
- 11:31Speaker 2: What happens if your tea is low.
- 11:33Speaker 4: They give you supplements so that it is what, Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 4: the replacement.
- 11:37Speaker 3: And hormone replacement. This story's out of PBS dot org.
- 11:44Speaker 3: And the thing I didn't like on here was this, Uh,
- 11:47Speaker 3: what's the sentence? Blend's known science on the hormone with
- 11:53Speaker 3: broader and less sub substantiated claims and then doesn't explain
- 11:58Speaker 3: what those are. It kind of annoys me. In reality
- 12:03Speaker 3: is that Yale and others have done intensive studies on this,
- 12:09Speaker 3: and you're talking about muscle mass, oxygen delivery, structural strength,
- 12:14Speaker 3: fat metabolism, but also behavioral shifts, dealing with risk tolerance,
- 12:20Speaker 3: pain suppression, decision speed.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Is this going to give us super soldiers?
- 12:25Speaker 3: We know it's not that kind of thing. There's no
- 12:31Speaker 3: I'll take it. There has been talked about the Navy Seals.
- 12:36Speaker 3: They've come under scrutiny about testosterone. Testosterone and other substances
- 12:41Speaker 3: that they say enhance performance. But really if it's it's low.
- 12:46Speaker 3: You know, women know this as well, after pregnancy and
- 12:49Speaker 3: the like there, or going into menopause and things like that. There,
- 12:56Speaker 3: hormone replacements are.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Hormone gig are a severely understudied and under recognized health
- 13:06Speaker 4: situation for men and women, And I for one think
- 13:12Speaker 4: that men do need more help and more support when
- 13:14Speaker 4: it comes to testosterone. I don't know why, if it's
- 13:17Speaker 4: because you know, men get uncomfortable talking about it, or
- 13:21Speaker 4: you know, maybe it's just not as widely talked about
- 13:23Speaker 4: as maybe women's hormones are. But it is an essential
- 13:26Speaker 4: part of a man's body and the way it functions.
- 13:30Speaker 4: And this could potentially be a really great thing for
- 13:34Speaker 4: the military. And I honestly hope that more men look
- 13:37Speaker 4: into hormone replacement therapy in the way that women are
- 13:40Speaker 4: also looking into hormone replacement therapy.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah. On that note, women get the short end of
- 13:47Speaker 3: the stick always when it comes to medicine. Always, most
- 13:50Speaker 3: studies have been done on men. But moving on from that,
- 13:55Speaker 3: shall we go Trump lillians towards expanding US military. This
- 14:01Speaker 3: is something he's been you know, it wasn't the main
- 14:03Speaker 3: thing he ran on obviously, but it was something that
- 14:06Speaker 3: was very important to him. I think a good military
- 14:11Speaker 3: is a strong military, but with this particular part of it,
- 14:15Speaker 3: it's about expanding the US military operations in Iran. So
- 14:19Speaker 3: he's leaning towards expanding the US military operations there, receiving
- 14:25Speaker 3: briefings on new escalatory options from top AIDS, So he's
- 14:30Speaker 3: looking at possibly stepping up airstrikes, sending ground forces which
- 14:35Speaker 3: would be nuts to seize Iranian islands, and bombing a
- 14:41Speaker 3: fortified site at Pickax Mountain. So he, you know, he
- 14:46Speaker 3: goes back and forth on these things, and we'll see
- 14:48Speaker 3: if he ends up pushing through it.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But I hope he addresses it a little bit tonight
- 14:52Speaker 2: in his address and doesn't just talk about voter stuff.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I would like to, you know, maybe in an update
- 14:57Speaker 2: on what's going on over there, you think. Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 4: The House rejected a measure to eliminate USA to Israel,
- 15:05Speaker 4: but almost half of Democrats supported the move. The measure
- 15:09Speaker 4: sought to cut three point three billion dollars in military
- 15:13Speaker 4: and humanitarian aid to Israel from a foreign affair spending
- 15:17Speaker 4: bill that failed by a vote of one o four
- 15:19Speaker 4: to three fourteen, with ten voting present and all but
- 15:22Speaker 4: one Republican that's Thomas Massey of Kentucky voting No.
- 15:29Speaker 3: It's a strange thing when someone tries to eradicate your
- 15:34Speaker 3: people and then you build up strength and say never again,
- 15:41Speaker 3: and say we will protect ourselves and then all of
- 15:43Speaker 3: a sudden, you're hated again. We hate success, we hate
- 15:47Speaker 3: anybody that We like the underdog until the underdog becomes
- 15:53Speaker 3: a point of strength. And I'm not agreeing with the
- 15:55Speaker 3: bombings and the things that Israel's doing, but man, we
- 15:59Speaker 3: sure turn on a dime. They killed millions of you.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Oh that's so sad for ten minutes. But anyways, FCC
- 16:10Speaker 3: moves to delivered this long, long sought after win for
- 16:15Speaker 3: Trump and Trump aligned broadcasters. This has to do with
- 16:20Speaker 3: changing the rules on local TV stations and their owners. There's,
- 16:25Speaker 3: for instance, we've got eight stations here. iHeart has eight
- 16:30Speaker 3: radio stations here in Los Angeles. They capped them. There
- 16:34Speaker 3: was a time where you could just buy stations, and
- 16:37Speaker 3: then they capped them so that you couldn't, you know,
- 16:40Speaker 3: take over entire areas with a single funnel of information.
- 16:46Speaker 3: So this ties in a little bit to that as well.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Where this vote which hasn't taken place as of yet,
- 16:52Speaker 3: which is likely to be challenged in court as well
- 16:55Speaker 3: even afterwards, they're looking for a victory for for smaller
- 17:03Speaker 3: companies to expand and compete against some of the bigger
- 17:06Speaker 3: broadcasters as well. So you look at NBC. Look at ABC,
- 17:11Speaker 3: they have their own stations, but they also have these
- 17:14Speaker 3: O and O or owned and operated stations, these smaller
- 17:17Speaker 3: stations that they put their programming on. And so it
- 17:20Speaker 3: would change how that this rule is intended to encourage
- 17:24Speaker 3: local ownership. Car of course, says that he's the head
- 17:29Speaker 3: of the FCC chair there, Brendan Carr. He says that
- 17:33Speaker 3: it's outdated as it stands now, it prevents station owners
- 17:37Speaker 3: from gaining the same scale as their competitors are free
- 17:41Speaker 3: to enjoy. So we will see how say we shall see,
- 17:48Speaker 3: Heather will to see.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Mortgage rates have risen to the highest level in nearly
- 17:57Speaker 4: a year.
- 17:58Speaker 2: They went up last week.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that caused home buyer demand for loans to pull back.
- 18:05Speaker 4: The average contract interest rate for a thirty year fixed
- 18:09Speaker 4: rate mortgage with a loan of about eight hundred and
- 18:11Speaker 4: thirty two thousand or less increased from six point six
- 18:15Speaker 4: five increased two rather six point six five from six
- 18:20Speaker 4: point five eight. Applications for a mortgage to purchase a
- 18:23Speaker 4: home fell seven percent from a previous week, and we're
- 18:26Speaker 4: two percent lower than the same week one year ago.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Does this mean and I am no realtor expert, person here.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Does this mean that people are not buying houses right now?
- 18:40Speaker 4: Fewer people are submitting applications to buy homes. I'm guessing
- 18:44Speaker 4: that's what that means.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Well, yeah, if they think that the interest rates are
- 18:47Speaker 3: so high that there were we listen, we've gone through
- 18:50Speaker 3: some pretty crazy times to where we have been spoiled
- 18:54Speaker 3: with very you know ours are I think our mortgage
- 19:00Speaker 3: is in the twos nice?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Oh never?
- 19:05Speaker 3: Uh? And wasn't yours pretty low too? I think we're
- 19:09Speaker 3: we've gotten really spoiled with those things. But I don't
- 19:11Speaker 3: know that that's ever going to come back. Uh, And
- 19:14Speaker 3: so nobody wants to you know, everybody wants that that
- 19:17Speaker 3: load number.
- 19:19Speaker 4: What I want is for the overall housing prices to
- 19:22Speaker 4: be lower. Like, it is insane to me that anybody
- 19:25Speaker 4: is asking one point three million dollars or one point
- 19:28Speaker 4: two million dollars for a two bedroom, one bathroom, you know,
- 19:32Speaker 4: like one hundred year old house.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Oh, tell me about it. I live in a hundred
- 19:37Speaker 3: year old house. Plus. But have you ever ever scroll
- 19:42Speaker 3: through Instagram or something and you come across those how like, uh, house,
- 19:48Speaker 3: what a million dollars gets you across America? And then
- 19:51Speaker 3: it has all the different states at.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Your it's so disheartening.
- 19:55Speaker 3: You're, uh, some of the cracker boxes you see in
- 19:59Speaker 3: LA that are going for a million two and they're
- 20:02Speaker 3: fixer uppers, like the floor is crooked and all of
- 20:06Speaker 3: that stuff. It's mind bogglin.
- 20:08Speaker 4: You can make it your own for only a million dollars,
- 20:12Speaker 4: exactly make it your own.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Well, that means build it from the ground up, all right.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Recyclable packaging is packaging in general. We talked about this
- 20:24Speaker 3: a little bit yesterday. I've talked about it on the
- 20:26Speaker 3: Fork Report as well. They have that new symbol that
- 20:28Speaker 3: they're going to be doing for a reusability. But now
- 20:32Speaker 3: the chasing arrows that we've come to know and love
- 20:38Speaker 3: on packaging is under scrutiny as to when it should
- 20:43Speaker 3: be used. So a federal judge has halted California's grand,
- 20:47Speaker 3: groundbreaking truth and Recycling law. This aims to reduce consumer
- 20:51Speaker 3: confusion about which packaging can be recycled. So inside that
- 20:57Speaker 3: famous symbol is a number one, two, three, four, five,
- 21:02Speaker 3: whatever it is. And in California there's only some of
- 21:06Speaker 3: those numbers that are recyclable. I think one is, I
- 21:09Speaker 3: think five is. So it gives this false sense of recyclability,
- 21:15Speaker 3: and they're finding that some of these are only recycled
- 21:18Speaker 3: about ten percent of the time, and so they're talking
- 21:21Speaker 3: about maybe removing these from some packaging. For whatever. We
- 21:26Speaker 3: blew it with recycling, it's completely we have no real
- 21:30Speaker 3: system with recycling. It was a pipe dream at its best.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Do you still have one of those little green buckets?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Did you get a little green be oh for your compost?
- 21:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Yeah, So there's the compost bucket, there's the recycling trash can,
- 21:44Speaker 4: and then there's there there's so many trash cans.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I just feel like we're just.
- 21:49Speaker 3: The pee and poop bucket. And and now you know
- 21:52Speaker 3: they're sending people around to check your trash. No, you're
- 21:56Speaker 3: in Los Angeles. Yeah, we have people that come by
- 21:59Speaker 3: sometimes they're random, and they look in your trast to
- 22:02Speaker 3: make sure you've got recycling and recycling.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Are they homeless people?
- 22:05Speaker 3: No? Are they looking for They take the cans out.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I thought you were going with that, and they'll look
- 22:12Speaker 4: to make sure the aluminum is separate.
- 22:14Speaker 3: No if it's La City or La County. But yes,
- 22:17Speaker 3: they look through and all that. And they also have
- 22:21Speaker 3: cameras on many of the garbage trucks that they can
- 22:26Speaker 3: see what's being dumped out as well.
- 22:28Speaker 4: You know what I love most about this show so
- 22:30Speaker 4: far is that we can see Bill, and I know
- 22:32Speaker 4: he can hear us and see us. And I wonder
- 22:35Speaker 4: if he's just sitting there going these Ninka poops are
- 22:38Speaker 4: destroying my show, and if he's dying to like weigh in,
- 22:43Speaker 4: or if he's just like I'm gonna going.
- 22:45Speaker 3: About the show. His favorite thing about the show is
- 22:47Speaker 3: him so fair. It's dull right now.
- 22:50Speaker 5: He basically just said to me, I can take the
- 22:51Speaker 5: morning off.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 22:54Speaker 5: So he's already a contract out.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Wow watching Netflix right now.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Just take your millions and go, buddy. I'm just kidding.
- 23:04Speaker 2: We love you your favorite.
- 23:06Speaker 3: All right, back to handle the news with Heather Brooker
- 23:10Speaker 3: and me your friendly neighborhood Neil Savedra.
- 23:13Speaker 4: So Spain and Argentina have been the favorite teams throughout
- 23:17Speaker 4: the World Cup. A lot of people thought they would
- 23:19Speaker 4: be in the finals. Well it turns out they will be.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Spain and Argentina are now going to face off in
- 23:27Speaker 4: the World Cup Finale Game Final Game Final Cup on
- 23:32Speaker 4: July nineteenth, and Leonel MESSI has been just a superstar
- 23:37Speaker 4: throughout the entire World Cup run. People are saying he's
- 23:45Speaker 4: one of the greatest, if not the greatest player to
- 23:48Speaker 4: ever do it to overplay the game.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So good on you. Lionel. Everyone not Lionel, don't be confused.
- 23:55Speaker 3: No, that's a train. What Lionel the train?
- 24:00Speaker 2: That Lionel the train? What are you talking about?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Isn't that Lionel? Isn't that that? Oh?
- 24:05Speaker 4: From Daniel from I would say Daniel Talker's but mister
- 24:07Speaker 4: Rogers neighborhood.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, was that his name?
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't know. Is that something like Thomas's friend or something?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Thomas? The train is a train?
- 24:15Speaker 3: But is there a Lionel train?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Lionel? Was I believe the King.
- 24:20Speaker 3: The remember King King Lionel?
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah? From mister Rogers.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Right, do you play soccer?
- 24:27Speaker 4: No?
- 24:28Speaker 2: Okay, oh no, it is the trolley?
- 24:31Speaker 3: Okay, see all these questions right? Not handle?
- 24:35Speaker 2: All right? Sorry, I'm I'm tipsy.
- 24:37Speaker 6: I think Lionel was a brand of model trains, a
- 24:40Speaker 6: brand trains, Lionel Trains.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a test.
- 24:44Speaker 2: You're a geek and I failed spectacularly.
- 24:49Speaker 3: We called you out. This is a horrible story. Actually
- 24:53Speaker 3: I woke up to I think I saw it in
- 24:54Speaker 3: the cow post this morning about an eighteen year old
- 24:57Speaker 3: woman dying after falling from a support structure there beneath
- 25:03Speaker 3: Highway eighteen. If you go up three point thirty to
- 25:09Speaker 3: Big Bear and it splits to the north shore in
- 25:12Speaker 3: the south shore right there, it splits right at the dam,
- 25:15Speaker 3: and so right there as it splits to the eighteen
- 25:19Speaker 3: and the thirty eight, I think is what it is
- 25:22Speaker 3: ends up being. There's the dam. That's where the dam
- 25:25Speaker 3: is up there, and apparently a group of young folks
- 25:31Speaker 3: were underneath that Highway eighteen bridge friends, and she fell
- 25:36Speaker 3: from the top of the bridge and the support structure
- 25:38Speaker 3: there and was found at the bottom of the embankment there,
- 25:43Speaker 3: embankment rather and the Big Bear fire department. I descended
- 25:47Speaker 3: the hillside, did everything they could, began life saving measures,
- 25:51Speaker 3: but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Honor roll student,
- 25:57Speaker 3: hard worker, her family said, excited to start college, she
- 26:02Speaker 3: wanted to be on a bakery and she began selling
- 26:06Speaker 3: cookies recently during her senior year. A lot of success there. Sad,
- 26:11Speaker 3: sad story. No foul play that they've talked about now.
- 26:15Speaker 3: They didn't say anything about anything else. It just sounds
- 26:20Speaker 3: like a tragic at this point.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Very very sad. Blue Angels are conducting review.
- 26:26Speaker 4: After a jet flew very low, very close to a
- 26:32Speaker 4: crowd of beach goers in Pensacola, Florida. Apparently they were
- 26:36Speaker 4: doing a flight demonstration. It was the flight demonstration squadron
- 26:41Speaker 4: and an air during an arrival maneuver in aircraft. Aircraft
- 26:45Speaker 4: flew lower than standard profiles that resulted in a disturbance
- 26:51Speaker 4: on the beach that affected civilians, chairs and umbrellas. So
- 26:55Speaker 4: now they're investigating.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Really, that's what it says.
- 26:58Speaker 3: All I would have been was a gate and yeah
- 27:05Speaker 3: thee that I'm sorry if as long as nobody was hurt,
- 27:10Speaker 3: I'd be like wet wet pants and excited and be like, yeah,
- 27:17Speaker 3: I don't know that, I've never seen that jet that close,
- 27:20Speaker 3: I'm assuming, and push your bodily fluids out.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Well, if you're on the.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Beach already in your swimming suits, yes, go in the ocean,
- 27:26Speaker 4: rintse off. I'm just saying it'd be like, honestly, yes,
- 27:30Speaker 4: I would have been like.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Yes, anything you can do, I can do better. Testosterone
- 27:39Speaker 3: ti t so uh elon musk this is different. Normally
- 27:43Speaker 3: you hear about the little guy sued the big guy,
- 27:46Speaker 3: but now the big guys suing back. Elon Musk with
- 27:49Speaker 3: x Ai suit a user on Tuesday, legging that he
- 27:53Speaker 3: used a rock chapboc to you know, make it jump
- 27:59Speaker 3: through hoops to create child sexual abuse material. And this
- 28:03Speaker 3: is one of the first lawsuits where you have a
- 28:05Speaker 3: big tech company going against a user who allegedly created
- 28:09Speaker 3: this explicit content with Ai, and I'm all for it.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I'm like that in this particular case they have they're
- 28:18Speaker 3: taking photographs, innocent photographs of people without their knowledge or
- 28:24Speaker 3: consent and changing them, manipulating them, and it seems they
- 28:29Speaker 3: use misleading prompts and they made, you know, ways to
- 28:35Speaker 3: circumvent the built in safeguards to do it. So it's
- 28:41Speaker 3: you know, you can't you can't drink chlorox right, it
- 28:46Speaker 3: says on there for intended use only.
- 28:50Speaker 2: So good suggestion.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Yeah, do you want to FID help? Yeah?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Do you want to end on that one? Or do
- 28:55Speaker 2: you want to end.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Give this one?
- 28:58Speaker 4: Because we can't double murders, all right, I guess we'll
- 29:03Speaker 4: end on double execution large executions. So Florida is planning
- 29:10Speaker 4: to carry out a twofer a two executions on the
- 29:15Speaker 4: same day for the first time in more than six decades.
- 29:20Speaker 4: They're trying to cement their status as the busiest in
- 29:23Speaker 4: the nation when it comes to the death penalty.
- 29:26Speaker 3: So, Heather, Heather, did I ever tell you that I
- 29:29Speaker 3: witnessed an execution?
- 29:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, Handle, handles back, hands back, everybody.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw it. Excuse the best day of my life.
- 29:39Speaker 3: The best day of my life. I wiggling and coughing
- 29:45Speaker 3: and spinning and heads exploded. Best day. I am in
- 29:50Speaker 3: favor of executions. I love them.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Handle, we got it. We have to go to break now, Handle,
- 29:57Speaker 2: I got a break now.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Handle. Oh great.
- 30:00Speaker 4: So it looks like you're doing You're doing the Bill
- 30:03Speaker 4: Handle Show today with Neil.
