- 1:18Speaker 6: it's been real shame. I've got a lot of people
- 1:19Speaker 6: that are wanting me to wear the wife's sunglasses. A
- 1:22Speaker 6: lot of other people have started wearing their wife sunglasses
- 1:25Speaker 6: and said, it's a hell of a look. I can

- 1:41Speaker 1: About realizing that I picked them up.
- 1:43Speaker 6: And the difference between her sunglasses and my sunglasses are substantial,
- 1:47Speaker 6: And I had no idea that I look like Dame
- 1:50Speaker 6: Eden the average.
- 1:51Speaker 5: For those of you who yeah, well, in your defense,

- 2:19Speaker 1: Do you want my duck hat?
- 2:21Speaker 5: Nah?
- 2:22Speaker 1: But you've got a duck in your lounge.
- 2:23Speaker 4: There's only one guy that can wear a duck on
- 2:25Speaker 4: his head in this show.
- 2:26Speaker 5: And it's you, mate.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Okay, Pugs gave it to me this hat, by the way,
- 2:30Speaker 2: and I'd be on it if you would take it.

- 4:38Speaker 6: and he'd love a night dave out you And that's
- 4:42Speaker 6: Sam from Christchurch. Sorry Sam, we don't see them down
- 4:44Speaker 6: to christ Church.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Hey, by the way, do we still have those little
- 4:49Speaker 4: backbone baby.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Grows baby grows the ones we had two years ago?
- 4:54Speaker 1: I do?
- 4:55Speaker 5: They were great?
- 4:57Speaker 1: That sold out?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah they would probably we should bring them back though,
- 4:59Speaker 2: because they are in hot demand. How you fellers, Do
- 5:03Speaker 2: you guys think you're good drivers?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Hell?
- 5:05Speaker 6: Yes, you won't find better than old Bogie out on
- 5:07Speaker 6: the road.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Brother.
- 5:08Speaker 2: See, I think a lot of Kiwis back themselves and
- 5:10Speaker 2: think the other bit because obviously I think I'm a
- 5:11Speaker 2: great driver. I know, you know, because obviously I love cars.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Got my truckie there, so you know I'm very invested
- 5:17Speaker 2: in my driving. Driven car guy dot co dot in zi.
- 5:21Speaker 2: That part of our company here. They have done They
- 5:23Speaker 2: do an annual driver's survey to sort of gauge what
- 5:26Speaker 2: New Zealanders think about the Kiwis driving. Yeah, the full
- 5:30Speaker 2: issue comes out this weekend in the Herald. Right, but
- 5:33Speaker 2: drivencarguy dot co dot in zi. You can actually go
- 5:36Speaker 2: up and have a look at it. Right now, ninety
- 5:38Speaker 2: four percent of Kiwis, yes, think that Kiwis are average.
- 5:45Speaker 1: At driving to very poor. Right, yeah, ninety four percent.
- 5:48Speaker 5: What's the spectrum there?
- 5:50Speaker 2: Excellent, very good, average, poor, very poor? Wow, fifty percent
- 5:54Speaker 2: we're just average, thirty eight said we're poor, six percent
- 5:57Speaker 2: said we're very poor.
- 5:58Speaker 6: It would be interesting to rute a simultaneous poll with
- 6:01Speaker 6: that and all of the people polled ask them where
- 6:04Speaker 6: they rate themselves on that spectrum.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, right, but if you can tell them to do
- 6:08Speaker 1: that next year.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Yeah, because I was going to say that that's what
- 6:12Speaker 4: we do as Kiwi say, we go those stupid basards
- 6:16Speaker 4: on the road.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Everybody myself am fine, everybody.
- 6:19Speaker 6: Else is an idiot, even though what I'm beeping my
- 6:21Speaker 6: hornet them for doing right now, I myself have done
- 6:24Speaker 6: on many an occasions because I've made a simple mistake.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, well I figured you know, this is quite a question.
- 6:31Speaker 2: It's kind of road rule that a lot of people
- 6:33Speaker 2: get wrong. In fact, in the survey, thirty forty people
- 6:37Speaker 2: got it wrong. Okay, all right, so you're come up
- 6:39Speaker 2: to a roundabout, two lanes roundabout?
- 6:42Speaker 5: All right?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, when do you indicate? Do you indicate entry and exit?
- 6:48Speaker 2: Entry only, exit only, or don't indicate because you're going straight?
- 6:54Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 6:54Speaker 4: Well that's what I do, as I just go straight
- 6:57Speaker 4: over the roundabout, over the mound in the middle, just
- 7:00Speaker 4: go straight through and straight across you not Why why
- 7:04Speaker 4: would you go in a big curve like that when
- 7:06Speaker 4: you can just go straight through up the gaps, up
- 7:08Speaker 4: the gap.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but are you at least indicating on it?
- 7:11Speaker 5: Why would I indicate? Easy, I'm going straight right okay?
- 7:14Speaker 1: And then mogi, what would you.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Do when you see the roundabout coming up? I always
- 7:19Speaker 6: make sure that I am in the left lane, yep.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Correct.
- 7:23Speaker 6: And then when I get about thirty well probably let's
- 7:26Speaker 6: say three seconds okay, two seconds away, I just lean
- 7:29Speaker 6: on my horn, lean on my horn, and then it's
- 7:32Speaker 6: just coming through.
- 7:33Speaker 2: At that point, what if this car is coming on
- 7:36Speaker 2: you right?
- 7:37Speaker 5: Well, I mean they're going to have to learn tough teddies. Yeah, okay,
- 7:41Speaker 5: text us three four eight three.
- 7:42Speaker 4: If you know the answer to that, because it'll be
- 7:44Speaker 4: interesting to see how many people actually.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Get that right, we'll give you a night. Wow not everyone, obviously.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Everyone gets one. Everyone gets a night and dave out.
- 7:53Speaker 2: No they don't, and we can ship them to christ
- 7:55Speaker 2: Church had a million dollars.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Oh okay, the Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Horn, Mike
- 8:00Speaker 3: Minogue and Kissy.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Dear Philip it there on the radio. Ho Donkie bitched
- 8:05Speaker 4: this Friday afternoon. The time is four twenty six and
- 8:07Speaker 4: Old Bugs Hunt from Studio b is just bought us
- 8:11Speaker 4: in some massive, massively thick crust pizza and old Kezy
- 8:16Speaker 4: over the moon.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Well it is great having free pizza, you know what
- 8:20Speaker 2: I mean. Yes, you'll see on a Friday grinning like a.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Pineapple. So good.
- 8:26Speaker 2: A lot of people have been texting through on three
- 8:28Speaker 2: four eight three because New Zealanders have had their say.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Ninety four percent agree that New Zealanders are terrible drivers. Basically,
- 8:36Speaker 2: the full survey and everything is up at Drivencarguide dot
- 8:39Speaker 2: co dot m z's. But I asked a question which
- 8:42Speaker 2: was you're coming up to a roundabout, you want to
- 8:44Speaker 2: go straight? It's two lanes. When do you indicate? Do
- 8:49Speaker 2: you indicate as soon as you get to the roundabout
- 8:52Speaker 2: and then switch it off when you go through?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Do you indicate on entry and on exit? Do you
- 8:58Speaker 2: not indicate at all? Or do you just indicate on entry?
- 9:02Speaker 5: Christopher?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Can I ask you, mate, what's that you say? Into
- 9:06Speaker 2: and exit? When I into? Which way would I be indicating? A?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Probably left, i'd say, or maybe right? And to be honest,
- 9:14Speaker 2: that's incorrect anyway. You don't want to be indicating if
- 9:16Speaker 2: you're going straight when you into the roundabout. It's just
- 9:18Speaker 2: as you leave. But people have been tixting through on
- 9:21Speaker 2: three four eight three with their answers as m.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So someone here says, I have a Ford Ranger.
- 9:27Speaker 2: We're all tosses, are straight through, horn down and fingers
- 9:30Speaker 2: to anyone that looks yeah, So that's incorrect in my book.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So wow, what do you mean?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Well, it's the law you think that's right?
- 9:38Speaker 1: The law.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Boy.
- 9:41Speaker 2: It's don't call me law boy. That's not a nickname.
- 9:45Speaker 2: But that's incorrect, isn't it? You're just what horn fingers?
- 9:50Speaker 2: What sort of car he's got a Ford Ranger. Yeah yeah, yeah, right,
- 9:55Speaker 2: so in a Ford Ranger, horn down, fingers to anyone
- 9:58Speaker 2: that looks that's correct. Yeah, yeah, okay, easy as guys.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Step one, excelerate, excelerate, excelerate. Step one accelerate, yes, step two,
- 10:10Speaker 2: hazard lights on, step three, horn, step four, close your
- 10:13Speaker 2: eyes and aggressively swerve. Step five. Open your eyes five
- 10:17Speaker 2: weeks later in hospital. That's incorrect, unfortunately in my book.
- 10:22Speaker 6: Yes, well, i'd agree with it as well that you
- 10:24Speaker 6: don't close your eyes. No, you aggressively sweve. So you've
- 10:28Speaker 6: got it mostly right. Well, hang on, no you don't.
- 10:31Speaker 5: That's just it's the new once here. That's not.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Get that wrong.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, just i'd feel bad about marking that wrong,
- 10:40Speaker 4: but technically I would say year wrong.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So you agree with them excelerating, accelerating, putting the hazard
- 10:47Speaker 2: lights on, tooting the horn, and aggressively swerving, but not
- 10:50Speaker 2: closing the eyes.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Yes, you can't close your eyes.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Sorry, apart from the closing the eyes.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Okay, someone here is sent through on three four eight
- 10:57Speaker 2: three entry and exit. You're sick, s ob Well, that's
- 11:01Speaker 2: not right. You're going straight. That's incorrect, that's incorrect. Yeah, No,
- 11:06Speaker 2: that's that's wrong. Indicated exit only your mad bastards. Well,
- 11:11Speaker 2: that's correct, but there's no use of the horn in
- 11:13Speaker 2: that in that one fingers. The road code doesn't say
- 11:17Speaker 2: anything about fingers or horn fellers.
- 11:19Speaker 6: No, I know, but you're read between the lines. If
- 11:21Speaker 6: you're a good driver, that's the thing.
- 11:24Speaker 5: I mean.
- 11:24Speaker 6: I'm there's something you'll learn in the books, Keezy, and
- 11:27Speaker 6: there's some things you'll learn out on the road.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Yeah, on the road of life, Magie and I'm Efan
- 11:32Speaker 4: and Jeff and all the time I'm giving people the
- 11:35Speaker 4: finger or the I'm an excellent driver.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Right, don't you have really milky eyes and you can
- 11:40Speaker 2: barely see.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 3: The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarkey.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Live there from the Radio hod Aki Big Show. Now listen,
- 11:51Speaker 4: these shout outs keep pouring in. U. This is our
- 11:54Speaker 4: last day of night Day sponsorship. So we've got a
- 11:59Speaker 4: few night Dave vouchers to give away. Don't we foun
- 12:02Speaker 4: us fifty buck ones?

- 12:19Speaker 4: Oh my god, do you know she used to play
- 12:21Speaker 4: for the Packeringer Panthers for a little while there while
- 12:24Speaker 4: I was at school. I'd come home from school at

- 16:07Speaker 4: Be all the more reason to because we'll all be
- 16:10Speaker 4: breaking it all down some fundamental areas.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Our eras on day one.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Sounds like positive listening fellas used today. While we're out
- 16:18Speaker 2: on the boat fishing, I was reminded of something that
- 16:22Speaker 2: I it's sort.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Of like a deep desire within.
- 16:26Speaker 2: If I wasn't in radio, a job that I would
- 16:29Speaker 2: love to have would be to be the captain of
- 16:32Speaker 2: like a massive ship, like a big old cargo ship,
- 16:35Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Sure, one that's out at
- 16:38Speaker 2: sea for months and.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Otherwise we passed out on the sea there.
- 16:40Speaker 6: Yeah, just about you and two hundred other dudes for
- 16:43Speaker 6: about six months at a time.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I don't know who would make up
- 16:48Speaker 2: the crew there, mic, And it's not you're the captain man,
- 16:50Speaker 2: you'd be hand picking them.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I'm sure I reckon right.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Well, in that case, i'd probably if I was handpicking
- 16:55Speaker 2: the crew, it probably wouldn't be it'd be a bit
- 16:59Speaker 2: more even of a split.
- 17:00Speaker 1: It, you know what I mean.
- 17:02Speaker 2: But it's it's there's something about just going out into
- 17:06Speaker 2: the ocean for months on end, you know, on a
- 17:08Speaker 2: big of a huge vessel.
- 17:10Speaker 5: I can't think of anything worse.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Actually, it'd be literally like a floating prison and.
- 17:15Speaker 5: Would be miserable. It would be depressing.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Maybe you would be loud, it would be loud. Engines
- 17:24Speaker 4: bloody smashing away there.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd be up and obviously the captain spot at
- 17:31Speaker 2: the helm there.
- 17:32Speaker 4: You know, you've got all your load as well on
- 17:35Speaker 4: the ship the spad or the containers they're wobbling around.
- 17:41Speaker 2: The engines aren't smashing, they're running well looped.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Yeah, but.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Containers that wobbling, they're strapped down properly. On my ship, James, Yeah, sure,
- 17:51Speaker 2: she runs a tied operation. His old crew. So Kesey
- 17:58Speaker 2: is notorious in a tight operation. Yeah, yeah, yeahl Kezy
- 18:06Speaker 2: runs a tight operation, all right, And look if that's
- 18:08Speaker 2: my sort of reputation. Say what you like about Captain Keyzy.
- 18:12Speaker 2: The crew love them, they would love me.
- 18:15Speaker 5: And I reckon, you look good in a little sailor's
- 18:17Speaker 5: outfit too.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I wouldn't wear a little sailor's outfit.
- 18:19Speaker 5: I'd be yeah, yeah, you look good in the uniform.
- 18:22Speaker 2: They're key but the captain, So maybe I don't want
- 18:25Speaker 2: to wear a uniform, you know, like nude Friday.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Isn't that you're going to go like mufty Mufty day?
- 18:31Speaker 5: Would you wear your duck cap?
- 18:33Speaker 2: I might wear my duck hat sometimes maybe on special occasions. Sure,
- 18:37Speaker 2: but you know, do you what do you guys think
- 18:40Speaker 2: about this streamingmind?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Do you think it's weird? Obviously?
- 18:42Speaker 2: Other than me, the kind of details you've gone into,
- 18:45Speaker 2: I do find a little bit odd. But you know,
- 18:46Speaker 2: when you're daydreaming, you can't really help with your mind goes. Sure, yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 2: like waiting in queue to go through the canal, you know,
- 18:54Speaker 2: I think that'd be pretty cool drop an anchor and
- 18:57Speaker 2: I don't know, China.
- 18:58Speaker 4: I can I can get the sort of being out
- 19:01Speaker 4: at sea, but just not on one of those horrendous vessels.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Yeah that would be so depressing, right, Okay, but.
- 19:09Speaker 1: You had all your chums there to show up, Jase.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Yeah that's true.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Yeah, and a couple of flagons around there, Mogi, Yeah
- 19:17Speaker 4: that's true.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Not on not on my boat. You can't drink and
- 19:22Speaker 2: operate heavy machinery.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Bullship Keysy the whole Aching Big Show with Jase, Mike
- 19:28Speaker 3: and Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarky.
- 19:35Speaker 4: It's the Hocky Big Shows Friday THROBBERO. Yes, indeed, where
- 19:42Speaker 4: we all pick a tune to kick off your Friday night,
- 19:45Speaker 4: get you in a sort of party kind of mood.
- 19:47Speaker 4: A Feller's little bit of throbber action.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, bit of throbber action. Chase.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Of course, we each play a little clip of a tune.
- 19:54Speaker 2: You didn't call up on eight hundred Hadarky the first
- 19:57Speaker 2: to get Mogi.
- 19:58Speaker 1: We've been doing this for three years.
- 20:00Speaker 6: Well, it's just the way you explain it. I'm just
- 20:02Speaker 6: pretending that I'm the listener out at all. Yeah, So
- 20:05Speaker 6: now I'm just getting confused.
- 20:07Speaker 2: So yeah, you yeah, you call up on one hundred
- 20:09Speaker 2: darchy have your say and today, because it's the final
- 20:12Speaker 2: day of those great New Zealanders Night and Day being
- 20:14Speaker 2: our show sponsor, everyone that gets through and actually votes
- 20:17Speaker 2: on the Thrubber will automatically get a fifty dollars Night
- 20:19Speaker 2: and Day vouch you.
- 20:20Speaker 4: And at the moment we're running themes, and the theme
- 20:23Speaker 4: was initially fish.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yes, so is it not fish anymore?
- 20:27Speaker 5: No?
- 20:27Speaker 4: Well, Mogi said, can we expand that out a little
- 20:30Speaker 4: bit to the sea?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:33Speaker 4: And I see, yeah, the ocean, And I said, I
- 20:37Speaker 4: why do you say yes? Well, because fish was stupid?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Right, who wants to go? I can go first?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Today? All the best man. My nomination was more specifically
- 20:49Speaker 2: to do with Jase fishing.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Oh god, and the fact I'm already going to be Yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 4: here we go.
- 20:58Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 20:59Speaker 2: It's a fishing, all right, and the amount of fish
- 21:02Speaker 2: that he caught yesterday.
- 21:03Speaker 1: It is the song.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Exit Gene.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Actually it's not, but it's funny.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Love you, And of course is the ten undersized fish
- 21:24Speaker 2: talking to you?
- 21:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean just kind of working in the cricket.
- 21:28Speaker 6: It does not fail in the Throbber steaks. Yes, that's
- 21:31Speaker 6: still not there. What do you go for? Hoodie Jay
- 21:33Speaker 6: went for Ah. These boys, they always made me.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Feel good to the currents will shift.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Sort of beans about Jim.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Hardly think.
- 21:59Speaker 1: He's see what the issue is.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I was choosing please release me by angle, but humperdink
- 22:06Speaker 2: in the hope that you guys would pick actual throbbers.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and you've.
- 22:10Speaker 6: Picked a pretty massive ship of that. Well, don't worry, Key,
- 22:13Speaker 6: I've come through for your brother.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Okay, what have you chosen? The emogi climbing up the
- 22:28Speaker 2: hot sails.
- 22:31Speaker 1: He's a sailor and he's on a ship.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Yeah, that's fair enough.
- 22:36Speaker 6: If you are telling me a sailor on a on
- 22:38Speaker 6: a yacht, on a boat, there has nothing to do
- 22:41Speaker 6: with the ocean.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Keysy, you are absolutely stretching my brother.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Can I if that's the case?
- 22:47Speaker 5: All right?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Because I picked fish based on today it was completely acceptable,
- 22:52Speaker 2: completely acceptable, shipping out to Boston.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm a sailor. No, it's fine, climbing up the top sales.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Jesus God, do you struggle when I picked you? And
- 23:03Speaker 1: don't you that's fine? Says it's fine.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Good.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm stoked, but you.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Know that's gonna win though it's not give us a
- 23:17Speaker 5: call right now.
- 23:22Speaker 3: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Archy.
- 23:29Speaker 5: It's the Big Shows Friday Thrommer. Yes, indeed, and the
- 23:35Speaker 5: theme today was fish. Initially that was expanded out.
- 23:38Speaker 4: To the sea, to the sea, the ocean, the ocean,
- 23:42Speaker 4: Miss and uh Keezy having a bit of go having
- 23:47Speaker 4: a bit of a go. A hoodie Jay chose this one.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yes, this is a song about Jason's fishing. Use today.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Release me, mel.
- 24:01Speaker 1: This is genuinely me.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Love you, that's me as soon as I get home,
- 24:12Speaker 2: before I go to bed. If you've had a few
- 24:14Speaker 2: responsible beverages.
- 24:15Speaker 5: And I beat your wife does want to release you too?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Am I right? Is that against your role of having
- 24:23Speaker 1: to have a throbber? What do you mean?
- 24:26Speaker 6: Does it have to be a throbber? Can we just
- 24:27Speaker 6: doing any old garbage now?
- 24:29Speaker 4: Yeah? To be honest, I don't remember being attacked about
- 24:32Speaker 4: mine being a ballad not a throat.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I remember that.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Can I attack your To be honest, that was a
- 24:38Speaker 2: joke one that I teed up and I actually have
- 24:41Speaker 2: a proper one. But I was like, nah, stuff and
- 24:42Speaker 2: I'll go with please release me because it was so
- 24:44Speaker 2: accurate to your fishing.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It was Jace, this was your Throb. Who was it?
- 24:53Speaker 1: That's a wounder, isn't it?
- 24:54Speaker 5: It's great? Great?
- 24:57Speaker 1: So was he really sad when he wrote this?
- 25:00Speaker 5: Beautiful?
- 25:04Speaker 1: And I went with a rock songs? That's terrible. That's
- 25:16Speaker 1: drop kick Murphy's shipping out to Boston.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Well I know who Patrick's going for? Good Patrick, your
- 25:22Speaker 4: man Barstard?
- 25:23Speaker 5: How are you going? Mate?
- 25:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Good?
- 25:25Speaker 5: Thanks yourself? Yeah?
- 25:27Speaker 1: Good?
- 25:27Speaker 5: Thanks mate? Good, good good? What are you running with? Their? Patrick?
- 25:31Speaker 5: I see I'm gonna have to go with Mogi. Yeah
- 25:35Speaker 5: I thought so, I thought so.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Good on you, mate, Patrick.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Stay on the line, by the way, everyone we chat
- 25:40Speaker 4: to night and day through that. Good at Steve your
- 25:44Speaker 4: mad Barstard.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Hell's Live here, good boys, are you?
- 25:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:48Speaker 5: Thanks mate? All right, Steve, what are you going with.
- 25:54Speaker 2: With that?
- 25:57Speaker 5: Go on here?
- 25:57Speaker 4: Steve your bar June June all right from Auckland, Hell's Life.
- 26:04Speaker 5: You're good boys?
- 26:04Speaker 1: Are you good? Thanks?
- 26:06Speaker 5: What are you running with?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Eric?
- 26:09Speaker 5: Oh?
- 26:11Speaker 1: There we go?
- 26:12Speaker 5: Great way three way person here?
- 26:16Speaker 1: All right?
- 26:16Speaker 5: Then send me your mad basket Hell's Live. Not too
- 26:22Speaker 5: bad things yourself?
- 26:24Speaker 4: Yeah good, thanks mate? Well, special honor for you today, mate.
- 26:28Speaker 4: You get to choose the winner.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I know, big one.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to go with you Hardy j on that.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Oh gosh, I'll be honest with you.
- 26:39Speaker 5: I didn't think I was going to win there.
- 26:41Speaker 2: No, I don't think you shouldn't fat, I think you
- 26:43Speaker 2: should get an asterisk because you're supposed to pick a throbber.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Oh boy, it's a tune. Though it's not a tune.
- 26:52Speaker 2: It is an Ocean's pil gym your Throbber.
- 26:57Speaker 3: The whole Ichy Big Show, week days from four on Radio.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Hod Oceans thereby Bill Jam you find a thrubber this week?
- 27:08Speaker 5: What are the scores now? Keezy score updates?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Mike is on ten, Kezy is on nine with one
- 27:15Speaker 2: asterisk for being racist, and Jace you are now on
- 27:19Speaker 2: nine with four asterisks. So ten, nine, nine, it's close
- 27:24Speaker 2: to the before.
- 27:26Speaker 4: It's tightening up alright, because you were on a runaway there, Magi.
- 27:30Speaker 5: I'm having a Kezy like stagnation. I remember that last year.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Yes, he was, he was on thirteen. You and I
- 27:36Speaker 6: were on three and four and we came back and
- 27:38Speaker 6: tozed him up.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I feel I feel like I was on higher number.
- 27:44Speaker 2: You guys are on negative four and you still a
- 27:48Speaker 2: few tips coming through though. What you guys will be
- 27:50Speaker 2: stoked about Kezy. Can you please play the wounder sting
- 27:54Speaker 2: a truly shit song massive asterisk next to hoidi J Guys,
- 27:58Speaker 2: this has to be the record for the most wounding
- 28:00Speaker 2: throber ever. Keezy, I'd like to let you know that
- 28:04Speaker 2: your correct pronunciation of asterisk has not gone unnoticed.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, when he made that point last.
- 28:09Speaker 2: The original theme for this throbble was fish, right, Yeah,
- 28:13Speaker 2: and I started thinking of every fish related thing I
- 28:16Speaker 2: could think of.
- 28:17Speaker 6: Yeah, stink fish by too would have been a good one.
- 28:21Speaker 4: I stink first, isn't it I I didn't think about
- 28:24Speaker 4: that at all.
- 28:25Speaker 2: No, clearly you just typed and ships on and then
- 28:28Speaker 2: slipping the first one that came up. Still still he won,
- 28:31Speaker 2: which really does my head in. But some options we
- 28:33Speaker 2: could have had, because it was tough. I was originally
- 28:35Speaker 2: going to go steely Dan really in the years in
- 28:39Speaker 2: fish Fellers, you know.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Yeah, sure, so there were options could.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Have won with that one. Yeah, probably not no fish
- 28:47Speaker 2: in the sea by Fat Freddy's drop.
- 28:49Speaker 6: This is what I was going to go for, but
- 28:51Speaker 6: I was I just don't think you can have a wounder.
- 28:53Speaker 1: How wrong I was?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I could have had three wounded, three wounded.
- 28:56Speaker 5: I find it interesting though that I won today. Knew
- 28:58Speaker 5: guys would go retrospective. I was gonna go.
- 29:02Speaker 6: This, this is just what we're doing on this break.
- 29:05Speaker 6: But yeah, that's that was literally what I was going
- 29:07Speaker 6: to do when I walked in. But I just had
- 29:08Speaker 6: such a problem and I had oceans as well, Peel Jim,
- 29:11Speaker 6: and I was like, I couldn't, but I do love it.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I love that song, this tune as well. You'll be
- 29:19Speaker 2: Dolphins Cry by Live Dolphins though they're not fish, but
- 29:22Speaker 2: they're pretty close.
- 29:24Speaker 5: That's true.
- 29:25Speaker 2: And to be honest, the first time I thought of
- 29:27Speaker 2: was going to be Arracuda by Heart.
- 29:31Speaker 5: They probably would have won.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I should have gone with that, but please release me
- 29:36Speaker 2: so much funnier. But hey, it's just, you know, it's.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Just we we get week another week. I got all
- 29:44Speaker 1: the best. Brother.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Do you think I should put an asterisk next to
- 29:47Speaker 2: hody J.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think it's a it's a
- 29:50Speaker 1: stretch there.
- 29:50Speaker 2: One right, Okay, just because I've already done, I've already checked.
- 29:53Speaker 1: One up there, so I'll just.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Just check it on five asterisks, Hoidy J. That means
- 29:58Speaker 2: you're actually on four. That's tough, isn't it.
- 30:01Speaker 3: There's Taya the Hdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on
- 30:07Speaker 3: Radio Hodiky.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Still there on the radio. Hold aankee big show now.
- 30:10Speaker 4: A bit of sporting action happening over the weekend. Let's
- 30:13Speaker 4: talk sport.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Yeah, sport score.
- 30:25Speaker 5: Now. Listen Big Test match tomorrow.
- 30:28Speaker 4: And I've only just realized, fellas, I'm going out to dinner.
- 30:32Speaker 6: Well, you'll be pleased to know, Jays that this game
- 30:35Speaker 6: is on at two pm. Seriously, it's on at two
- 30:38Speaker 6: pm in Wellington, Wellington. That's right, So you're in for
- 30:41Speaker 6: an absolute rip of their brother sweet. It's pretty exciting stuff.
- 30:46Speaker 6: There's been some changes to this. I was going to
- 30:48Speaker 6: say it hasn't been humming, has it.
- 30:51Speaker 5: No?
- 30:52Speaker 2: You sure it's at two pm and not seven oh
- 30:54Speaker 2: five pm.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 30:55Speaker 6: I'm just looking at right here and it says two
- 30:56Speaker 6: o five. Maybe I'm looking at the Northern edition and
- 30:58Speaker 6: they've stitched me up. Let's have a look. I go
- 31:01Speaker 6: to the Southern edition. It's turned into his shambles. Now
- 31:03Speaker 6: I've lost the team.
- 31:07Speaker 5: That's when I'm going to dinner.
- 31:08Speaker 6: I was also saying two am just didn't seem right.
- 31:11Speaker 6: So anyway, it is a little bit of a surprise
- 31:14Speaker 6: because they've got old body Barrett, they've shifted him to
- 31:16Speaker 6: number ten, they've dropped Damien McKenzie back to the bench.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 31:23Speaker 5: It's not a future looking move. It's not.
- 31:26Speaker 1: And look, Boden Barrett is a goddamn god my box.
- 31:28Speaker 5: He is.
- 31:30Speaker 6: But I thought that they were trying to look to
- 31:32Speaker 6: the future and maybe they're just dropping him for Damien
- 31:35Speaker 6: McKenzie back because of form. It's potentially not direct enough,
- 31:39Speaker 6: potentially looks for the bigger play instead of just playing
- 31:42Speaker 6: a very distribution heavy role as required, instead of looking
- 31:46Speaker 6: for something really incredible and picking his moment. But the
- 31:49Speaker 6: only way is going to get better at that is
- 31:50Speaker 6: if he's given given the keys to the car or
- 31:53Speaker 6: the motorbike.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Keysy okay, what about like a lawnmark.
- 31:56Speaker 6: Yeah, keys to a lawnmarer, sure, okay, and given that opportunity.
- 31:59Speaker 6: So I don't know, God, but you know, look, we've
- 32:02Speaker 6: got a coach. We've got to give him. Ay, I
- 32:03Speaker 6: want to give him a year before I start just
- 32:05Speaker 6: bagging everything he does. Sure, as if I know where
- 32:07Speaker 6: I don't.
- 32:08Speaker 4: And also I think, you know, maybe they've gone. Is
- 32:11Speaker 4: he more of an impact player because he is that
- 32:13Speaker 4: sort of you know, he does some crazy safie and
- 32:16Speaker 4: he's quick, he's nip nippy this Damien Damien. Yeah, and
- 32:19Speaker 4: then maybe the game last twenty he could actually be
- 32:22Speaker 4: a useful web.
- 32:24Speaker 6: But then it becomes okay, if that's the case, are
- 32:26Speaker 6: we are we only sleeepting the team to not lose
- 32:28Speaker 6: a test, to win a test without actually trying anything
- 32:31Speaker 6: to look to the future to progress those combinations so
- 32:34Speaker 6: that we win the next World Cup. So it is
- 32:37Speaker 6: interesting to me if possibly Razor is already concerned about
- 32:41Speaker 6: his recorders coach, he was already super concerned about maintainable
- 32:45Speaker 6: that record of making sure they're get him wins. But
- 32:47Speaker 6: it makes it all. Look, I'm loving the series. Yes,
- 32:49Speaker 6: I'm loving the fact that we're on the edge and
- 32:51Speaker 6: we're not just dominating absolutely everybody. I wouldn't mind seeing
- 32:54Speaker 6: some improvement week to week. What same make Same.
- 32:58Speaker 2: New Zealand of course taking on Ozssie at the Caketon,
- 33:01Speaker 2: they've got a bit of a hoodoo there, a losing
- 33:03Speaker 2: streaky and Wellington. The t A B hunch is this
- 33:06Speaker 2: has been put together by the acc by the way
- 33:08Speaker 2: they think that Ossie will be leading at halftime, but
- 33:10Speaker 2: the All Blacks will win.
- 33:11Speaker 1: That's a terrible bit. That is a terrible absolute that's
- 33:14Speaker 1: a shouber of a bit.
- 33:15Speaker 5: If you look at the form at the nightment, that's
- 33:17Speaker 5: an absolute shocker. Yeah, it's not good, that's what that is.
- 33:20Speaker 5: That's good, that's good. Yeah. So the opposite of that, Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 5: so your hunch is at ezy.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Yeah, So my hunch is that New Zealand will win
- 33:29Speaker 2: and Damien McKenzie will score a try.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Nice, that's my hunch. So good.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Yeah, if you would like to place a hunch of
- 33:38Speaker 2: your own and you want to win a one hundred
- 33:40Speaker 2: dollars bonus cash bit, tixs TA B to three four
- 33:43Speaker 2: eight three now r a teen bit responsibly of course
- 33:47Speaker 2: in RL on as well.
- 33:48Speaker 1: JC into that.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yeah, totally, man, really, who's playing the best? Well, I
- 33:53Speaker 2: guess it is finals time, So you're right. Tonight at
- 33:57Speaker 2: nine to fifty you've got the Storm taking on the Roosters,
- 34:00Speaker 2: and then tomorrow night at nine to fifty Panthers v.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Sharks. Storm are gonna win, Sharks are gonna Panthers are
- 34:06Speaker 1: gonna win.
- 34:06Speaker 2: It's gonna be a Panthers Storm Grand Final next Sunday. However,
- 34:11Speaker 2: I am praying that it isn't, because I'd love either
- 34:13Speaker 2: the Roosters to upset the Storm, but more I'd love
- 34:16Speaker 2: even more for the Sharks to beat the Panthers. However,
- 34:18Speaker 2: there are injury clouds over their centers Jesse Raymian and
- 34:21Speaker 2: kal Errore plus Nkohines hasn't been his best. I don't
- 34:24Speaker 2: think they'll be able to do it. I am predicting
- 34:26Speaker 2: Storm to win and Panthers to win.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and then a big Sunday next weekend at
- 34:32Speaker 4: keys He Saig Show.
- 34:34Speaker 1: At ten o'clock at night, is it? Well, yeah, it is.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I'll probably be commentating it for the ACC.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Oh no, don't do that. Why Wow, someone's gonna lose.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm only cursed for the Warriors, Jason, and they're
- 34:45Speaker 2: not playing all right.
- 34:48Speaker 3: The whole Larky Big Show week days from four on
- 34:51Speaker 3: Radio Hods.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Indeed run DMC and Aerosmith there on the Radio hod
- 34:55Speaker 4: Archy Big Show this Friday afternoon.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Fellers have had another business side.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I go on, Can I guess what it is?
- 35:01Speaker 5: Sure?
- 35:02Speaker 2: It's a music CD store specializing in terrible tunes and
- 35:06Speaker 2: it's called ho J's Throbbers. What no, no, no, I'm just
- 35:11Speaker 2: guessing this is Actually it would be more likely to
- 35:14Speaker 2: be a compilation CD.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be a double album. Now that's what
- 35:18Speaker 1: I call a ship. Seriously, what is it?
- 35:23Speaker 5: He's really strut it go, isn't he. It's all about
- 35:27Speaker 5: it when we were down at Wellington.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Absolutely he was wasright.
- 35:33Speaker 2: No, I was just doing it for fun, fellas between
- 35:37Speaker 2: the breaks.
- 35:39Speaker 4: But here's are you familiar with Evandale Raceway? For all
- 35:45Speaker 4: the people that live outside of Auckland, it may not
- 35:47Speaker 4: be familiar with it. Evandale Raceway is this massive, massive
- 35:55Speaker 4: abomination basically in the in the very close to the
- 36:00Speaker 4: middle of the city. It is a huge raceway we're used,
- 36:04Speaker 4: unused that is literally falling apart. And I go past
- 36:09Speaker 4: that every day when I come into work and I
- 36:11Speaker 4: go home from work, and I keep thinking to myself,
- 36:15Speaker 4: I mean, something needs to be done with it because
- 36:17Speaker 4: there's all this land. It's a massive building that is
- 36:20Speaker 4: in all the windows are broken, it's falling, falling the pieces.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Have you got any ideas.
- 36:25Speaker 4: I've got a great idea and it was inspired when
- 36:28Speaker 4: I was in Adelaide And we went to the adelaide
- 36:30Speaker 4: A central.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Market, like a central market, and it was the.
- 36:33Speaker 5: Most brilliant market. It had all your.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Stores, your fish, fresh fish meat, your boutiques, your foods
- 36:41Speaker 4: and everything.
- 36:42Speaker 6: Do they have stores that sold feather earrings?
- 36:45Speaker 4: They probably did mogie, But seriously it was amazing. And
- 36:50Speaker 4: you're sitting there for four hours, quite quite happily, and
- 36:53Speaker 4: I was thinking to myself, why can't we put together
- 36:56Speaker 4: something like that for Evandale markets. I mean for Abdale Race, Well,
- 37:00Speaker 4: rip it all down, check it up, put stools in there.
- 37:02Speaker 4: They'd fill up. The whole of Auckland City would go
- 37:06Speaker 4: there all the time. They do, of course, have the
- 37:08Speaker 4: Evandale markets here every Sunday, which is always packed, that is,
- 37:11Speaker 4: and I reckon it would be an absolute bomb. All
- 37:15Speaker 4: I need is some million dollar investors.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Right, So are you do you have a construction company
- 37:20Speaker 2: set up or is this like a gisbe a council.
- 37:22Speaker 4: I'm an ideas guy here keysing, but you're asking people
- 37:25Speaker 4: out there. Yeah, I'm asking for money, but also people
- 37:28Speaker 4: you know with the nouse to go, Okay, let's rip
- 37:30Speaker 4: it all down. There'll be consent stuff and all that
- 37:33Speaker 4: sort of jazz, right, But mate, I reckon that would
- 37:35Speaker 4: be the bomb.
- 37:36Speaker 2: But don't you have to have like something in place,
- 37:38Speaker 2: like a design of what I would You could do,
- 37:41Speaker 2: a drawing or something planning.
- 37:42Speaker 6: It sounds like it's an empty field what you're planning,
- 37:45Speaker 6: and there's a little bit of a building at the moment.
- 37:46Speaker 6: You just need some people to take away the rubbish.
- 37:49Speaker 5: You just pull the building down.
- 37:51Speaker 6: But if this is your idea, like I would go for,
- 37:53Speaker 6: why don't you go for a massive water theme park
- 37:56Speaker 6: with hydra slides And then also it's heaps of bars
- 38:00Speaker 6: and everything there, and there's bars actually in the water
- 38:03Speaker 6: so you can go down the slide and grab a
- 38:05Speaker 6: cocktail on the way down through the slide.
- 38:07Speaker 5: It could work too.
- 38:07Speaker 6: It's got to be better than it is at the moment.
- 38:09Speaker 6: I mean, the market idea is a big thinking and
- 38:11Speaker 6: I love that.
- 38:12Speaker 4: But the market itself, you know that I'm talking about
- 38:14Speaker 4: like an Adela for example, they had bars and all
- 38:16Speaker 4: that really boutique stuff, great little restaurants, great, you know,
- 38:20Speaker 4: everything you needed for your shop.
- 38:21Speaker 5: It was just a great place.
- 38:23Speaker 4: What about And if you hit something like that Norkland,
- 38:26Speaker 4: people would love it.
- 38:28Speaker 5: It would go off.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just trying to think if I'd go.
- 38:32Speaker 5: You know, would go.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Massive at the moment gambling. Oh yeah, if you just
- 38:40Speaker 2: not fill you just filled it with Queen of the Niles,
- 38:43Speaker 2: that could work instead of because what kind of race
- 38:45Speaker 2: called like horses?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Why do you put some horses out You put some horses.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Out there, Well, you could have horse race.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Of course, there's the raceway itself, which you could do
- 38:53Speaker 4: something with, but they use that for sports events and
- 38:55Speaker 4: stuff like that, which you could still do.
- 38:57Speaker 6: Not on my watch, And then you knock it over
- 38:59Speaker 6: and you make it a horse race. Imagine my my,
- 39:02Speaker 6: what's the name richesesemah, yeah, my chessma.
- 39:04Speaker 4: What you could do is use that land to build
- 39:07Speaker 4: like five thousand townhouses.
- 39:09Speaker 1: That's a better idea. Now we're talking outside the square.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Are they all exactly the same and have no off
- 39:15Speaker 2: street parking? Yes, okay, I'm keen.
- 39:17Speaker 5: But it is such a travesty.
- 39:19Speaker 4: It seems such a waste, and I'm sure people have
- 39:21Speaker 4: tattooed with the idea of doing something worth that, but
- 39:23Speaker 4: nothing ever happens.
- 39:24Speaker 6: I think a genuine solution here is to wait till
- 39:27Speaker 6: after next week when Matt Heath is doing afternoons on
- 39:30Speaker 6: News Talk ZB and you can lap and bitch about it.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Great, cool, But I think stick with that compilation city
- 39:36Speaker 2: idea that the Hdarchy.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Jem Stones beautiful.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Hey now listen, coming up after six o'clock.

- 39:57Speaker 2: biggest in the Southern Hemisphere, and it is free flights, accommodation,

- 40:40Speaker 2: So do one mad, Yeah, I'm just going to keep
- 40:44Speaker 2: clear the.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I've got a real frog in my throat at
- 40:47Speaker 4: the moment. To be honest, I'll.

- 41:34Speaker 4: Here we go, the last one.
- 41:36Speaker 5: We're ever going to do.

- 41:38Speaker 4: Nah?
- 41:38Speaker 5: Okay, are you ready? Brought to you by night?
- 41:46Speaker 4: I don't know about you, guys. So I was pretty
- 41:47Speaker 4: emotional about that.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Well, I just think you can really tell that we've
- 41:51Speaker 2: been doing it for months.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and we're working in univers I've never got sick
- 41:54Speaker 1: of it.
- 41:55Speaker 6: And we have been doing it for months, three times
- 41:57Speaker 6: a show, five days a week, for months and months.
- 42:00Speaker 2: How usually stuff like that would bug you would.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I don't mind that. I don't mind that once a week.
- 42:10Speaker 1: You don't mind it. It's good.
- 42:11Speaker 5: Listen, How good that we did such a good last one? Yeah? Well,
- 42:15Speaker 5: that's the thing, you know what I mean?
- 42:16Speaker 4: And thinking of that, speaking of great, there must be
- 42:20Speaker 4: a great special on from night and day to day.
- 42:23Speaker 5: Isn't there a cherry on top?
- 42:26Speaker 6: Isn't there a headache? Big show special on?
- 42:28Speaker 2: Then there's a big show special on a nine day
- 42:30Speaker 2: at the moment fouls, which is really great.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Of course, you go up to them and you say,
- 42:35Speaker 1: one big show special please, isn't near the very first
- 42:38Speaker 1: copy of forty J's new CD. Yeah, So you get
- 42:43Speaker 1: three coffees alright.
- 42:44Speaker 2: One of them is a long black with some hot
- 42:45Speaker 2: water on the side, ones are flat white with eight sugars,
- 42:49Speaker 2: and one's an Americano with a wee bit of milk
- 42:51Speaker 2: instant or sorry an instant coffee, next cafe or whatever
- 42:54Speaker 2: they've got out back. And of course you get a
- 42:57Speaker 2: free copy of hody J's new CD. Now that's what
- 42:59Speaker 2: I call it. It Throber Volume one, and trust me,
- 43:02Speaker 2: we've got enough songs to make about seven volumes, so
- 43:05Speaker 2: that's exciting.
- 43:06Speaker 5: It's going to go off.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Actually, plus extra small coddies, some tofu giant tissues because
- 43:11Speaker 2: everyone's got massive honkers.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Yeah, and and some toilet paper toilet and some hand
- 43:18Speaker 6: gel oh yeah gel yeah, yeah yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 2: So just go to Night and Day and tell them
- 43:24Speaker 2: that you want that, and it's our only twelve ninety nine.
- 43:27Speaker 5: Wow, that is a deal.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Fel down there already.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, speaking of a deal, do you guys want
- 43:33Speaker 2: to hear the latest podcast outro clip?
- 43:35Speaker 5: That's right, you do it.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Here it goes yesterday.
- 43:39Speaker 6: You ate an entire bag minus one handful from me,
- 43:43Speaker 6: and you ate half a container of dip.
- 43:46Speaker 5: That's true.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I'm just happy he's eating.
- 43:50Speaker 5: But Pugsutn hits him too.
- 43:51Speaker 6: Oh yeah, sure you were in the eating licking the
- 43:55Speaker 6: bag as you will want to do. Listen, there's nothing
- 43:57Speaker 6: you'll know more than.
- 43:58Speaker 5: If you put the combo of deps and Chip.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Yeah, she's take away the dip yeah Chip.
- 44:07Speaker 6: Just talking about what an animal Wardy Jay is when
- 44:10Speaker 6: it comes to the snacks.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Man, I am, I'm a shock or the snacks by
- 44:14Speaker 4: I I own.
- 44:15Speaker 1: It, Jase, I mean, Mike, Yeah, are you a shock
- 44:18Speaker 1: called the snacks? I can be.
- 44:19Speaker 6: But I've also got incredible self discipline. Like last year
- 44:22Speaker 6: when I had no snacks and both of you guys
- 44:23Speaker 6: had to pay me one hundred bucks, but I said,
- 44:25Speaker 6: don't worry about it because I'm such a bet.
- 44:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:28Speaker 2: That was pretty backbone actually, because I really didn't want
- 44:31Speaker 2: to give you one hundred dollars even though you had
- 44:32Speaker 2: well and truly into it.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Hey.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Up next we're giving away the double pass and the
- 44:38Speaker 2: flights and the accommodation for the New Zealand God.
- 44:40Speaker 1: So if you entered that competition, keep your phone on.
- 44:42Speaker 1: We could be calling you the excellent.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Hidarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 44:49Speaker 4: Kisy Lincoln Park there on the radio Hold Archy Big
- 44:53Speaker 4: Show this Friday afternoon. And as you know, we've been
- 44:56Speaker 4: running a bit of a competition to get you down
- 44:58Speaker 4: to Tallanaki for the tattoo and Art festival down there, fellers.
- 45:02Speaker 2: That's what I'm presented by, the Panthon, the Pentanthon, which
- 45:06Speaker 2: is so good. It's one of the biggest tatoo and
- 45:08Speaker 2: art festivals in the Southern Humans. So a lot keys
- 45:11Speaker 2: and I wasn't familiar with them. What panthon do the
- 45:14Speaker 2: Panthons like. It's like an antiseptic cream you put on
- 45:16Speaker 2: your tattoos.
- 45:17Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that makes sense.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Yeah, on tatoos, or on heaps of dith well, to
- 45:22Speaker 2: be honest, on a lot of different things. But Parkson
- 45:25Speaker 2: uses it for his tattoos. Yeah cool, yes, so yeah,
- 45:28Speaker 2: which is cool. So the prize that we're giving away,
- 45:30Speaker 2: of course, it is November twenty third and twenty fourth.
- 45:34Speaker 2: You'll get free flights from wherever you are in the country,
- 45:37Speaker 2: free accommodation tickets to the actual event for you and
- 45:40Speaker 2: a mate, and a five hundred old tato voucher to
- 45:42Speaker 2: top up your ink.
- 45:43Speaker 4: How good, Well, let's go to the phone line here,
- 45:46Speaker 4: aid in your man bars.
- 45:47Speaker 5: How's life good mate? Yourself?
- 45:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:51Speaker 5: Good, thanks mate? Can you just turn your radio down
- 45:54Speaker 5: there a little bit? Aiden, Adam o, adam, Sorry.
- 45:59Speaker 2: I didn't want to direct to be.
- 46:00Speaker 5: All right, Adam? You love your tats at him? Yeah? Yeah?
- 46:07Speaker 1: What was your first tato you got? Man?
- 46:10Speaker 5: Oh ship, they got me kicked out of home and
- 46:12Speaker 5: it was a small wave where the sunshine on my
- 46:16Speaker 5: left shoulder blades? Did you get did you get that
- 46:19Speaker 5: off the off the wall down at the parlor? Yeah?
- 46:24Speaker 1: I got it out of a first magazine.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Are you boy good?
- 46:28Speaker 1: And Adam?
- 46:28Speaker 2: Do you like big TETs or small TETs?
- 46:32Speaker 4: Well, I've got a fall back piece now, both arms
- 46:35Speaker 4: done and I'm working for our league to leave at
- 46:37Speaker 4: the moment.
- 46:37Speaker 5: So yeah, I love.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Jeepers creepers, Adam. So you'd be pretty keen to go
- 46:42Speaker 2: along to the New Zealand Tato and Art Festival.
- 46:45Speaker 5: Would be? Who are you going to take with you, Adam?
- 46:49Speaker 4: Probably my week mate Corey, especially when he gets on
- 46:53Speaker 4: the fire water.
- 46:56Speaker 5: Absolutely, Adam.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Well, the good news for you matters you and you
- 46:59Speaker 2: make Cory ahead and a tad anarky mate here to
- 47:01Speaker 2: see a radio darchy.
- 47:02Speaker 5: Oh fucking awesome, man if.
- 47:05Speaker 2: An awesome indeed man mate?
- 47:09Speaker 6: Yeah gooday, get a teto of hoody j on your
- 47:14Speaker 6: on your backbone there?
- 47:16Speaker 5: Oh, I don't know if he's in the room on
- 47:17Speaker 5: my backone can get it somewhere.
- 47:19Speaker 4: Maybe maybe on your ass cheek ad him, Yeah, Wolf,
- 47:23Speaker 4: maybe ye'll.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Facilitate that animal hand you over a pug stun mate,
- 47:27Speaker 2: But congratulations, it's going to.
- 47:29Speaker 5: Be awesome, awesome boys. Thanks mate.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Hey, Jase, aren't you the one that normally tells people
- 47:34Speaker 1: they are the winners?
- 47:35Speaker 5: Yeah? I don't know what happened.
- 47:36Speaker 1: What happened there?
- 47:37Speaker 6: Kez has just completely stolen that job off you man
- 47:40Speaker 6: the Hurdarchy.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 47:44Speaker 4: Kissy two Ricks there on the radio, Hold Donkey, Big
- 47:47Speaker 4: show this Friday afternoon. Now we're heading into the weekend.
- 47:50Speaker 4: Always a good time to chill out and relax and
- 47:52Speaker 4: watch a bit of TV. What's on the Telly with
- 47:57Speaker 4: Mike Minogue?
- 48:01Speaker 1: Yeah, shock him.
- 48:14Speaker 6: I watched another episode of Bad Monkey. You know, I
- 48:16Speaker 6: don't know what to say, and I really like it.
- 48:20Speaker 6: Still gone within an episode of Seinfeld. I'm up to
- 48:24Speaker 6: season seven.
- 48:25Speaker 4: All right, Okay, God that's short and succinct. I'm continuing
- 48:31Speaker 4: with the patient.
- 48:33Speaker 6: Can I ask you, Jase, just before you carry on,
- 48:35Speaker 6: what happened with Son of a Gun?
- 48:37Speaker 1: Or whatever it was, the old man.
- 48:39Speaker 5: The old man. Well, i'll tell you what happened with that, Mogi.
- 48:42Speaker 4: It must have been playing for a while, and we
- 48:45Speaker 4: watched a number of episodes, and now I think it's
- 48:48Speaker 4: gone weekly, so I caught up. I must have caught
- 48:51Speaker 4: up with what they were doing. So now I have
- 48:53Speaker 4: to wade each week, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
- 48:57Speaker 5: As I said about that particular one, I was.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Getting a bit silly, yeah, but still enjoyable. But the
- 49:02Speaker 4: patient with Steve Carell and Gleeson Brommel brom domal, domal, Yes,
- 49:10Speaker 4: one of whom's a serial killer, the other's a therapist.
- 49:14Speaker 5: And what I actually like about it the very short.
- 49:16Speaker 4: Very quick episodes, about twenty twenty one minutes half an
- 49:20Speaker 4: hour episode sort of thing. But it's just increasing exponentially
- 49:25Speaker 4: every episode. It's just cranking upright, and cranking up, And
- 49:29Speaker 4: as I said yesterday, the end of every episode is
- 49:33Speaker 4: always oh my god, moment, right, oh God. Yes, I'm
- 49:40Speaker 4: enjoying it immensely. It's very good.
- 49:42Speaker 2: The Gleeson family is very talented, so Donald does a
- 49:45Speaker 2: good job because he's.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Great, and Donald's a prolific actor.
- 49:50Speaker 6: He's had a huge sort of five or six years
- 49:52Speaker 6: with Star Wars and all sorts of he was in
- 49:55Speaker 6: everything for a while.
- 49:56Speaker 5: And a playwright and he's done all sorts of stuff.
- 49:58Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 50:01Speaker 4: I don't think I'm giving too much away by saying
- 50:03Speaker 4: he's playing the serial.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I think you can tell when you google it. He
- 50:06Speaker 1: looks a bit of a deadly.
- 50:07Speaker 5: Yeah he does. He's got that serial.
- 50:11Speaker 1: So that's on Disney Plus Disney. Yeah. I think that.
- 50:15Speaker 6: There's another show on there that I'd actually like all
- 50:17Speaker 6: of us to watch it at the same time, including Pigs.
- 50:20Speaker 6: And it's called Mister in Between, and it's it's up
- 50:24Speaker 6: there for me with us. I think it's in my
- 50:25Speaker 6: top three TV shows of all time thirty minutes Australian
- 50:29Speaker 6: hit man thingy and it is. I'd love to rewatch
- 50:33Speaker 6: it and sort of go through it and us all
- 50:36Speaker 6: be watching the episodes together. Would be bloody good because
- 50:38Speaker 6: it is an out the gate show, only three seasons
- 50:41Speaker 6: of it six episodes each.
- 50:43Speaker 2: CAZy only if we do that with Colin from accounts,
- 50:46Speaker 2: I've already finished.
- 50:47Speaker 6: I've watched it twice. Yeah, I was going to say
- 50:49Speaker 6: do that next year.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Last night I watched a great show Game of Two
- 50:53Speaker 2: Halves on Sky. Oh yeah, I forgot because you know
- 50:58Speaker 2: I'm on it, Jason, you're my agent?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Am I good? You'd watch that?
- 51:01Speaker 4: Ah?
- 51:01Speaker 5: Now?
- 51:02Speaker 1: Was it?
- 51:02Speaker 2: It was episode three?
- 51:03Speaker 1: It was? It was a funny episode. I think I'm
- 51:05Speaker 1: enjoying making it great.
- 51:07Speaker 5: That's the main thing.
- 51:08Speaker 1: And I think the good.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Thing is it's on every Thursday eight thirty on Sky
- 51:11Speaker 2: and then they re run it all over the show.
- 51:14Speaker 2: I was only supposed to be on like two episodes,
- 51:16Speaker 2: and now they want me on every single episode.
- 51:18Speaker 1: How good? Yeah, so some other people not available?
- 51:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Jase turned them down quite a bit, you said,
- 51:27Speaker 2: and I quote, I don't want anything to do with.
- 51:29Speaker 1: It, So I appreciate that.
- 51:31Speaker 2: No, No, Mike did Away has been away and yeah,
- 51:36Speaker 2: so to be honest, it's just been year like sort
- 51:38Speaker 2: of injury cover, you know.
- 51:40Speaker 1: So, but hey, I'll take it.
- 51:42Speaker 5: Well, you're obviously doing a great job. Keezy. I'll definitely
- 51:45Speaker 5: watch that at some point.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Why do you even lie like you know, what do
- 51:48Speaker 2: you mean?
- 51:48Speaker 1: Why it's blood?
- 51:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Yeah, ah, white down, I am going.
- 51:55Speaker 3: To watch the whole archy. Big show was Jason miking
- 52:00Speaker 3: tune in.
- 52:02Speaker 4: On radio system of a down there on the radio
- 52:05Speaker 4: Hodankee Big Show this Friday afternoon.
- 52:09Speaker 5: Now listen, you listen.
- 52:11Speaker 2: I say, now listen to sort of buy yourself some time. Yeah, well,
- 52:14Speaker 2: well you remember what we're talking about.
- 52:16Speaker 4: It's just such an amazing prize and a competition that
- 52:20Speaker 4: we're running here with the good baskets from Diamonds on Richmond,
- 52:23Speaker 4: that sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed by it, right,
- 52:26Speaker 4: I mean, when you're giving away a ten thousand dollars
- 52:30Speaker 4: engagement ring, that's quite a big deal.
- 52:32Speaker 6: Keezy, I'm just going to say right here. You know,
- 52:35Speaker 6: there's so many different ways that you can propose. Would
- 52:37Speaker 6: you guys like to hear how I proposed?
- 52:39Speaker 1: Sure?
- 52:40Speaker 6: A week it was the very first time that I
- 52:42Speaker 6: met my wife to be's family. So we went down
- 52:47Speaker 6: there to Reefed and west coast of the South Island
- 52:50Speaker 6: backbone country as I call it. She's got a large
- 52:53Speaker 6: family and we're all there for I think it must
- 52:54Speaker 6: have been Christmas and I don't even known it for
- 52:58Speaker 6: about a year, and I thought, I'm ready to I'm
- 53:01Speaker 6: ready to put a ring on it. Let's cool, men,
- 53:04Speaker 6: you know what I mean. So what we did was
- 53:06Speaker 6: we had a game of family, game of charades and
- 53:12Speaker 6: you love charades. I love it so much, it's so funny.
- 53:16Speaker 6: But I jacked it up so that my clue that
- 53:20Speaker 6: I was going to do my wife to be was
- 53:21Speaker 6: in my team. I jacked it up that it was
- 53:24Speaker 6: will you marry me? Right, right? But she didn't guess it.
- 53:29Speaker 6: She didn't guess it. Her her brother did. So he's
- 53:34Speaker 6: saying will you marry me? Will you marry me? And
- 53:36Speaker 6: I'm like nana, and then she goes, oh, will you
- 53:39Speaker 6: marry me? And then I got down on one knee
- 53:42Speaker 6: the ad jace and had the ring. But my wife stidn't.
- 53:45Speaker 6: She didn't get what was going on. So it took
- 53:48Speaker 6: about ten minutes for her to clue up to the
- 53:51Speaker 6: fact that I was, in fact proposing to her.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Was she mad that you were using props na? No,
- 53:55Speaker 1: she loved a prop comic. She'd always knew a prop comic.
- 53:59Speaker 6: Eventually she said yes, right, even though at that time
- 54:03Speaker 6: we went really getting along very well, but she didn't
- 54:05Speaker 6: want to embarrass me in front of her family. Nice
- 54:08Speaker 6: nice way to do it, because I knew if I
- 54:10Speaker 6: got her one on one in a romantic dinner situation,
- 54:13Speaker 6: and I got down on my knee and proposed to her.
- 54:15Speaker 6: She would have said no, yeah, right, or down at
- 54:17Speaker 6: a beach or any of these other things. But I thought,
- 54:19Speaker 6: if I put her in front of a crowd of people,
- 54:21Speaker 6: she's so lovely, she's such a nice person, she'd rather
- 54:24Speaker 6: marry me, yeah than embarrass me.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:27Speaker 5: Yeah, good move man.
- 54:29Speaker 1: That's really nice. Yeah, so romantic.
- 54:31Speaker 6: That's one of the most romantic things of over here.
- 54:33Speaker 6: That's one of the most manic things ever.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 54:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Hey, if you would like to propose to your other half,
- 54:39Speaker 2: I'd just go to Hdaky dot co dot in zid.
- 54:41Speaker 2: There because diamond on Richmond Ford Swash Backbone. No, just
- 54:45Speaker 2: Hodaki dot COTINZID. Diamonds on Richmond have got a ten
- 54:49Speaker 2: thousand dollars diamond engagement ring to give away. So you
- 54:54Speaker 2: just sign up there, you fill out the form, you
- 54:55Speaker 2: tell us how you would like to come a box.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Probably I think it comes in the box.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Not one of those plastic bags we put the snapper in.
- 55:04Speaker 2: That is such a random callback to our podcast outro
- 55:07Speaker 2: today that hasn't even come out yet, so no, one
- 55:10Speaker 2: don't even know what.
- 55:11Speaker 1: You're talking about.
- 55:12Speaker 5: But yeah, we'll post one on the Instagram.
- 55:18Speaker 2: A photo of a place. Understand, how's this one? My
- 55:25Speaker 2: partner hates surprises. Oh sorry, this is from anonymous. Okay,
- 55:30Speaker 2: my partner hates surprises, but she loves drama. She would
- 55:34Speaker 2: love the proposal at a big event like a ball.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Or a family Christmas duo. Yeah, charades. Sure. However, she
- 55:42Speaker 1: would like to be in on it beforehand.
- 55:45Speaker 2: She doesn't like surprises, but she likes a big dramatic occasion,
- 55:49Speaker 2: so she'd like to have us say in how it's
- 55:50Speaker 2: all organized.
- 55:51Speaker 1: But that sounds like a wo that's up to anonymous.
- 55:59Speaker 2: If you like to when that hudaky dot coto in
- 56:01Speaker 2: zid get stuck in, or if you are planning on
- 56:03Speaker 2: purchasing one, do it before October twenty fifth. Go to
- 56:05Speaker 2: Diamonds on Richmond, say the secret phrase.
- 56:07Speaker 5: Ma waf my af.
- 56:10Speaker 2: So directly to them and they will pay the GST
- 56:13Speaker 2: for you on that ring. It's like buying it Judy three,

- 56:27Speaker 2: so it's worth doing. Simply rock up to an appointment
- 56:29Speaker 2: at Diamonds on Richmond and they will find the perfect

- 57:30Speaker 6: have a birthday.
- 57:30Speaker 1: They're as far as your work is concerned, which I
- 57:32Speaker 1: agree with.
- 57:33Speaker 5: I was thinking about that as I was coming in today.
- 57:35Speaker 5: Do you wonder if they got.
- 57:38Speaker 2: No?
- 57:39Speaker 4: I mean, you know, the interesting thing is I've been

- 57:56Speaker 5: cake there. You know what I mean. I don't it
- 57:58Speaker 5: works emails.

- 58:02Speaker 6: of everybody else's cake that you don't need your own
- 58:04Speaker 6: on your birthday.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you're always eating cake.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure my lovely wife will cook me a
- 58:10Speaker 4: cake too, beautiful, maybe a Dayton coconut cake.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, didn't you say the hood cake's away is
- 58:17Speaker 2: really dry?
- 58:18Speaker 1: You're saying off here they're a shamble or stodgy.
