Latest / Non-Toxic Living / How Emotional Toxicity and Trauma Impact Your Weight & Health With Dr. Regan Tilley

- 0:00There's a study about adverse childhood experiences done by two doctors that were predominantly looking at how obesity was affected by your childhood. They weren't looking at mental health. They weren't looking at any of that. It's just like, why do obese people not lose weight? Why is it so hard for certain obese people to lose and maintain weight loss? And what they discovered was this powerful foundation of...
- 0:20We need to participate in our own rescue. And anger is one of the linchpins for us not to participate in a rescue. We use it as an excuse. Right. And it's toxic energy. I think one of the most powerful tools is to, what do you think could be the one thing that you could help people see and remove from their lives? What would that be? So one of the biggest things...
- 0:42Dr. Reagan, great to have you on the show. This is a really powerful topic because we're talking about non-toxic living on this show. Right. And we're getting to the toxicities of living from socioeconomic drugs.
- 0:57living conditions, all of it, and how that shapes a child, which shapes an adult, and how to reverse that toxicity to bring back life and health and happiness, obviously connected to weight loss, mental health, and so many things. So this is a super powerful topic, and I just want to obviously start with your story. How did you get into this? This is pretty powerful.
- 1:20My journey for healing has been long. I have been a sick child, a sick young adult, a sick 40-year-old, and I'm finally over being sick. And it's taken me a long time to understand how I got here. And in medicine, a lot of times we think about the physical. We look at the lab work. We look at our values. You know, do I have mold toxicity? If you're working as a functional medicine doctor like I am, there's so many layers to it. And so I have run the spectrum of healthy weight to obese.
- 1:47on and off throughout my whole life. And I have been trying to get to the foundation of why it is so difficult for some people to lose weight. One of those things happens to be how you were raised or the environment that you were raised in, just like you were talking about. And my story.
- 2:04There's a study about adverse childhood experiences done by two doctors that were predominantly looking at how obesity was affected by your childhood. They weren't looking at mental health. They weren't looking at any of that. It's just like, why do obese people not lose weight? Why is it so hard for certain obese people to lose and maintain weight loss? And what they discovered was this powerful foundation of adverse childhood experiences. So there's a list of 10 of them. I just, for grins...
- 2:33Mm hmm. Took the quiz. And then I was shattered because I marked nine out of the 10. The only thing that I wasn't impacted by, neither of my parents went to prison. I had witnessed alcohol abuse. I had witnessed physical mental abuse. I had witnessed, you know, my parents had divorced. We had food scarcity, like just the list went on and on and on. All the hardships.
- 2:53All of it. And I got out of it and I chose that the cycle was going to break with me. You know, I have three biologic sons, two step sons. And so my goal has been to heal those wounds. And the more you dig in, I don't know if just like with mold, with any other thing, the more you dig, the more layers you start to uncover.
- 3:12And that is what I started to do. What really profoundly impacted me was the figuring out the relationship with my mother, the toxic relationships that I had as a child have definitely impacted my mindset as an adult.
- 3:28And it is one of the toxins that I have been actively clearing. And when I was trying to do my mold healing, because I had a significant mold toxicity based on my living, my upbringing, as well as some other environmental exposures throughout my lifetime, I kept wondering why I was stuck. I kept wondering why can't I move forward?
- 3:48Why can't I get past this point? And a friend of mine, Jenna Richardson, did some rapid transformational therapy with me at the beginning of this year. And it completely opened up my mind to understanding new things. And this is how I've gotten to this point with these adverse childhood experiences.
- 4:07contributing to so much of the trouble that I've had in my life. And I am here now to help other people figure theirs out. And we're going to unravel it and get through it. We're going to break those blocks. Yeah, this is beautiful. It's fresh and it's new. And I love that I have the opportunity to kind of be one of the first to crack the egg on your future. Because this is...
- 4:29Such a powerful topic. You know, socioeconomic alcoholism. You can't blame them, right? I think, and there's a lot of, and I've seen my friends, they had the alcoholic parent and, you know, and then it transforms in the abuse. And eventually, like you, they break open. They stop blaming. They start digging. They do some sort of release like you did with your friend. And then it's like, aha, you know what? God loved me during that whole time. Exactly. Exactly.
- 4:54Life is still good and my parents weren't that bad, but all my decisions were based on these bad belief structures that you self-sabotage, you judge yourself, you beat the living shit out of yourself over and over again, transforming your hormones, destroying your opportunities. And it probably is what drove you to be a doctor and a DO and into the medical field, because I can help people and there's this deep well of pain.
- 5:21that becomes the energy into which launches you into your next opportunity. So I'm really excited because this is new. What are some of the things you actually mentioned your mom? Like, so I know I had my dad trauma. So, I mean, and I've gone back and forgiveness and all that stuff and I'm free. Right. And this is newer for you. So I want to, I want to, what does that feel like? It's...
- 5:45literally a weight lifting off of my shoulders. So I've been playing with the idea of writing a book of all of this stuff, because when I start telling my story, people are like, you should write a book. Oh my God, you've been through so much. And I'm like, it's not so much. Everything that I've experienced has been a lesson for me to learn and grow from. So I take all of this as lessons on how I can further improve me so that I can help other people. I knew I wanted to be a doctor from the time I was six.
- 6:13That came out of an experience, well, maybe eight is when I really committed. Yeah. But again, my mom was one of those, well, if it's God's will, you're going to heal. I had a terrible eye infection. My face was swollen. I was in massive amounts of pain.
- 6:30She just didn't want to take me to the doctor. So it was my dad's night for visitation. He picks me up and my stepmom's like, oh my goodness, Reagan, we're taking you to the hospital right now. And in that moment was when I saw the power and the protection that you can get from a physician. Um.
- 6:45I heard my mother come to the emergency room. I never saw her while I was there. The doctor sat in front of the door with the lights off because my eye was so swollen. I was in so much pain. He sat on the table next to me or the cot and he said, don't worry. I won't let her take you. Nobody's going to hurt you. And I'll tell you, oh, my God, that was like...
- 7:07That was the first moment I knew that this is what I'm going to do someday. I'm going to protect other people because nobody had yet protected me. My dad couldn't because of the legal system. My stepmother was my stepmother. You know, nobody had been able to protect me from my mom. You're not safe. Yeah. And so that's kind of like foundationally where I was at. I ended up with like a herpetic eye infection, which is kind of a rare thing. And I had a terrible...
- 7:36My whole face was infected. So I was in the hospital with an IV for antibiotics for many days. It happened to be during Ronald Reagan's inauguration. Like that's how long ago that was. But I remember it because that was like a happy moment with my aunt who came to sit with me because my mom wasn't even allowed in the hospital. So my aunt came to sit with me. But that was like the start of my journey of knowing where I wanted to go someday.
- 8:03I moved out of my mom's house when I was 13 because not only was she kind of she was physically abusive. She was emotionally abusive. There was not a lot of stability as far as always walking on eggshells. Not a lot of food security. The house wasn't clean. We had cockroaches in the house. There was, I'm sure, mold. I don't even know. She was sick. She was sick. And that is the big thing.
- 8:26All of this last year, I've been able to learn that she worked with what she had. And it's forgiveness and love and respect. But I've recognized also in order to do that for myself, I don't have to put myself in that situation any longer. I can still love and respect her, but I can do it on my grounds, my terms. It's so hard to do. It's very hard to do. I'm 47. Yeah. Took me a while, but I did it.
- 8:52You set those boundaries, the abuse of people. That's something we talk about a lot. That's toxicity. And if you allow it into your life, that toxic energy, it's one of the five pillars. Right. And so this toxic energy in your life and you allow it, you're getting arguments on text. You're talking to abusive people. You have abusive friends. And this toxic energy in its heart, I don't even know how to say it. You have a duty to be abused.
- 9:16And I don't know where that comes from. I don't know if that comes from Judeo-Christian belief systems. But I had someone, a couple of different people, over the course of my life, I can go back. Abusive relationship. A girl was cheating on me. Just stop. Right? Right. Just stop communicating. I had an abusive friend in my life. Just stop texting them. They're abusing you. Right. And then they stop. Right? They'll start for a while and they stop. And then you realize, my life's a hell of a lot better right now. I'm feeling better. Like, I'm more free. I love myself more. Because I got rid of that...
- 9:46their energy vampires is kind of the cliche. Right. So how has that... You've stopped with your mom, and I want to get into some of these 10 things and some of the things that you've done, and this is the time to get it out because it's new. Right. So what are some of the...
- 10:00The lessons you've learned from these energy, toxic energies that have impacted your life. Now you're turning that energy around. Right. It's almost like one of those video games where they catch the energy fireball and then you throw it back. Right. But then it turns into a butterfly. Right. It turns into something beautiful. This nasty energy, this toxic energy, and you're able to take it in, process it.
- 10:24understand that it's still can be turned into love. Mm-hmm. You neutralize it and you bring it back to the world as butterflies, if you will, and create that butterfly effect. This podcast, things that we're doing work as we heal people, as they listen, and they get this energy that you're sharing, like, hey, it's okay, you're gonna be okay. Like, we can do this. Right. Lots of moms, you know, and they're beating themselves up of how they treat their children, but they don't understand that they forgive themselves because this happened to them, and then they can trace it back.
- 10:53And then the cocoon turns into the butterfly. And we're watching you come out of your cocoon in the last year and become this butterfly. So let's talk about some of the stories, the challenges. And then let's talk about the solutions that you're now working on.
- 11:10Right. So that whole the mush in the cocoon, I'm literally at the wings spread. They're still gooey, right? Yeah, good. Still coming out, still spreading. But during... Still beautiful. Thanks. During that period of time where I was really kind of going through that metamorphosis. Let's think of that word. When I went to medical school, it was after 10 years of being a nurse.
- 11:33I learned more in the two years I spent in oncology, watching people who were doing things more naturally because they wanted anything. They were desperate for any help. So I actually had a huge exposure to people doing things through mindfulness, through spirituality, through mental health care, through food, through supplements, through all of the things that I now embrace fully in my practice. I was a neophyte then. I'm like, oh, this is cool, but I don't know if, you know...
- 11:58We're inundated with conventional medicine wisdom, right, through all of our training. You're programmed. Yes, 100% programming. You're programmed as a kid. We're all programmed. Yes. And so one of the things I do in my system is break the BS. The belief systems that we were raised with that aren't necessarily our truth.
- 12:17It's what our parents were taught. Their parents or our trainers were taught. And it's just, it is what it is. And we take it at face value. We don't question it. I was thinking about my training and how I got into where I'm at now. So 10 years as a nurse, went to medical school because I knew I could make a bigger impact for the world, seeing where the needs were and knowing that I could.
- 12:38And a lot of my remember my childhood dream was to be a doctor. Then I said 10 years as a nurse. And that's because the women in my family didn't believe women could be anything but stay at home moms, teachers or wives. So I followed that kind of. Yes. Yes. And I said, screw it. I'm going to do it. It was after I had my hands inside a patient's belly whose intestines had come out into his colostomy bag and nobody on the unit could fix it. The surgeon wouldn't even go in the room to help.
- 13:05And I said, what do I do? He said, just don't make it turn pale. And if it turns purple, stop. The gentleman laying on the bed thanking me for taking time out and being gentle and just seeing him as a real person. He had been given a life sentence with colon cancer that he was only supposed to live six months. This is three years later, but he was not well.
- 13:25But he needed to be seen as a person. So I stepped in, stepped up, helped him out, and had that moment, that cathartic moment of, I can do more. Yeah. So I went out and signed up for the MCAT, and the rest is history. And you crushed it. I did. Yeah. Well, I did it without studying. I had to study, and then I crushed it. Yeah, yeah. You always got to do it. I've done that, too. Like SATs. Just cold test it? Yeah. Oh, I need to...
- 13:48You got to learn. Take those classes. Yeah, you got to learn the tricks. Yes. Right. Because it's all a big trick, right? It is. It's nothing to do with. Yeah. It's socioeconomic, too. Yeah. If your parents have the training to get you a tutor and teach you how to trick the system, you can wind up in MIT, you know? Right. There's some brilliant people. So you have this passion now, right? Yes. All this hardship. Yes.
- 14:09Right. You know, drove you to, look, I want to help others. I want to see others happy and safe because I wasn't safe. This guy wasn't safe. Right. You made him feel safe. Right. Because you weren't safe. Right. And now today, as your metamorphosis is happening. Yes. You want others to be safe. So what are some of the strategies? There's so many individuals, moms, dads, boys, girls. Right. You know, people.
- 14:34watching and listening to this, what can they do? Because they see like, hell yeah, you know, that's me. Alcoholic parents, I'm still wounded. I had, you know, I'm a little bit better, but I'm not where I want to be. And they're getting drugged down by their past. And they don't know how to take that energy like you have learned. Mm-hmm.
- 14:52and turned it into the butterfly. How do we transform somebody who has been living in the past, that toxic energy, it's still trapped inside of their body, holding them back like a big, toxic, nasty weight, drowning them, feeling guilty, shame, all that stuff that's destructive, right? How do they release that? And it turns into the hot air balloon and they go to higher heights and see beautiful sunrises and the things that you're starting to experience. Because I can see it in your eyes. You're starting to see it. You're lifting.
- 15:22Yeah, that. So first off, you are going to get broken along the way. That is that is one of the hardest things. And I've talked about this before, is leaning into the fear, because we know we need to make change.
- 15:38And fear is a powerful motivator for humans. It will either make you make an immediate change because, you know, if you don't turn left, you're going to get hit by the bus. And that's a life preserving change. Fear will also make us not lean into change because we know our little toddler temper tantrum throwing brains likes to do the same thing. It doesn't like to change. So even it's the reason people stay in abusive relationships. It's the reason people keep eating the food. It's the reason that people don't leave the job.
- 16:08It's because your brain is comfortable here. It's the known evil. And it thinks that change, those little neurotransmitters that our brain makes, you know, to make us scared or happy or trustworthy, they like to do the same thing because it's low energy. It doesn't take a lot of energy to change or to stay the same. It takes a lot of energy to change. Your brain knows that. Yes. And so it will not allow you to make change unless you give it a good reason.
- 16:33So finding your why, that North Star, what is the purpose that you want to move forward to? Getting really concrete and solidified in what you need and want out of life. Because then that's gonna give you a direction to go to in order to make those hard changes.
- 16:50The next thing is acknowledging that it's gonna suck before it gets better. You're gonna have some times where you are flayed open, raw, the skin is bare, rubbing the salt in the wounds. But what I encourage you to do is have a system in place to pull you through it.
- 17:05And so that's where I went through the rapid transformational therapy. I didn't want to do this over 10 or 20 years with a therapist because I can say the same thing over and over. I also know how to game the system so my brain doesn't feel super uncomfortable, as we all do. So I went through the place, talked to my higher self. We all have our higher self, our spirit body that knows everything we need to know to change.
- 17:25But we just keep it quiet because for whatever reason, we believe the meat suit runs the show. It doesn't. We allow it to through all of our toxic exposures and what we continue to put in and on us. But we have to lean into that higher self. So that's what I do with my clients now. I used to run a metabolic reset thing. We had a diet. We had, you know, sleep right, chew right, mouth tape, hum. Those are excellent. I'm not belittling any of those. Those are great. I love all those things, too.
- 17:52You can't do it if the little you inside is broken and terrified of change. And that is the space that I have stepped into. Yeah, the toxic mindset, I agree. Yes. The number one, and I talk about it all the time with change. It's your mindset. You can't remove your dryer sheets if you have a bad mind. It's how powerful this piece is. And it's neat that...
- 18:13After, you know, delving into the functional medicine, helping people lose weight, what surfaces, it's like the real deal, which is that toxic mindset and which was what is one of the hardest things, but it's one of the most critical things individuals, including myself.
- 18:29really need to lean into to become better because everything else becomes overwhelming until you see that light, until you see that I'm okay and I can do this. I'm loved. You're in abusive relationships. As soon as you try to make a change, get out the dryer sheets again, your husband yells at you and that puts you into fear and you don't want to deal with it. So you don't make the decision and you're fearing your children screaming and
- 18:55You know, because you're removing all the sugar from their diet, even though their their insulin and glucose is all over the place and their hormones are getting dysregulated. You know, it's bad, but you're fearful of the kids losing it. And so you just get back in the easiest place, the easiest dysfunction. Right. And you and you swim in that dirty water. Right.
- 19:13You're choosing your heart at that point. Which heart do you want to live with? Right. Because it's hard to stay sick. It's hard to have a kid who's ADHD and bouncing off the walls and emotionally a wreck and screen addicted because that's what they know. And it is easier to like placate sometimes than to turn the TV on. I don't have to deal with it.
- 19:31Right. And so it's destroying their health. Yeah. So choosing your heart. And so that's one of the other things we do is choose your heart. Which heart are you going to deal with? The heart that keeps you where you're at or the heart that's going to get you across the mountain or through the valley, whatever you're at. Right. Yeah. So that's a huge thing. And that is kind of what drove me. I almost quit. Like, I haven't admitted that out loud to anybody that I almost quit doing what I'm doing. I almost sold out and went back to like insurance based medicine. Yeah, it's easy.
- 19:55You make lots of money. You do. You get paid more. You have, you know, somebody's running your office. But I can't. I've already, like, I broke up with the devil. I'm not going to do that again. I'm not going to sell my soul again because I've gained my soul. Right? I have gained it back and then some. And I've seen, like, I went through an experience, a psychedelic assisted experience where...
- 20:16I blossomed. The wings came through and I'm finally doing it, you know, and it was very, it was an intentional experience for me and it was rebirth. And that has been my moving forward point from there. When I almost quit, it was because I don't look like the other people in this space. Yeah. I am not the fittest woman in the room anymore. I've been called that once upon a time, but I'm not anymore.
- 20:38I felt the imposter syndrome kick in again. That's that toxic talk, right? That inner mind is I still feel it. Right. Comes around. Yeah. And so I almost quit between last year's mindshare and this year because I'm like, oh, I'm not on par with them. And I was separating me from them. And that's also toxic. It's a protective mechanism.
- 21:00So yeah, it makes it helps you choose complacency. Yes. And I'm like, I don't have to change. Right. I don't have to become better. Fuck that is finally what my higher self said. Don't stay there. Don't be a prude. Don't be shy. Be authentically who you are, because the more you try to be not you, the weaker your messages, the fewer people you're going to impact for the right reasons. I was talking with another mentor and she's like, how dare you not serve the women that need your message? Come on. Yeah.
- 21:26And I'm like, ooh, that got me. So you know those fear points or those turning points, the leap points? That was one of my leap points. How dare you not step up and speak for the people in this position? Many of them are women, but there's so many men they don't know how to articulate it. Women articulate their needs differently than men, but I have had men stepping into my practice now that I've been open to it. They're like, I just want to be healthier. We'll get to the mind stuff with them a little bit later, but I need to get a strong masculine influence in to help me communicate the right way.
- 21:55way with them. So I have watched these women doing all of the things and they just aren't getting well. So number one, I delve into the toxicity. Mold is prevalent everywhere. Heavy metals is prevalent everywhere. In our area in Manhattan, Kansas, there's mold in just about every building and every university student. Don't sue me. College in my town. There's mold in every building. So they are knocking them down and rebuilding. Thank God. But they're not saying why.
- 22:22Mm-hmm.
- 22:38Some people get success. And then we start asking about childhood. We start digging into. We gain rapport with them. Exactly. Like, you know, get them on a protocol. You're starting to feel better and your hormones come back online. And that's where there's this balance. And I'll let you finish. But this is, I mean, I've worked in clinics for 18 years. Yes. Coached doctors for 18 years. And what we found in clinics is let's get them in on what they want. Right. Weight loss. Gain rapport with them.
- 23:04So through all that clinical experience, what we do is we bring them in on what they wanted. Weight loss is a big one, especially in women, because of media and everything that's going on. So it's crazy. But what winds up happening is whether they do the protocol or not, it comes back to their mindset, traumas. And to be honest, we weren't equipped. Then we'd have to outsource that. But no matter what...
- 23:33what they came in for, diabetes, thyroid disorders, all these different things in the end.
- 23:39it drilled down in their success came down to their mindset, what happened to them as a child, things they're holding onto, religious abuse, all those things, these different layers, because once they get their health back, they have the ability to start thinking about those things. When you don't have your health, you can't even address, you can't drill down, you don't even care. You're just, you're dying in the moment, you're drowning. And you start getting your health back, your energy back, your sleep back. So all that metabolic work that you did
- 24:09combining it with the beauty that you're now experiencing, which is the real freedom. And this is the same, why I love this, Reagan, is this is what I went through. I mean, I lost my spiritual life and God still loved me. Right? I was an asshole because I was so sick and my cortisol was so dysregulated. I was so snappy and nasty. And there's nothing I could do about it. I was mold sick, mercury poisoned, all those things. But as I got my health back,
- 24:35Now, I've been really honest with so many of you that I've had just the blessed opportunity to talk to you. It's like, this is what I care about mostly. I wanna see people's hearts healed. I want them to experience turning into a butterfly. I want them to experience the light and love that is flowing into each and every one of us and getting those blocks out so we can flow through and that we can be kind to one another, all those things. And it's used for evil.
- 25:02You know, because being raw and real is really where it's at. Right. And be able to accept someone for where they're at. And it's so beautiful. So carry on on this piece. So it's a huge piece of it is radical self-acceptance and radical self-accountability. So those are two things that we develop through working together. You know, that's one of those things that I want people to have. They don't come to me with it because they've been so broken.
- 25:25So when we validate their needs, right, these are the people who've been to half a dozen or a dozen or more doctors already. Their juts are hanging out. Yeah. Your labs are fine. There's nothing wrong with you. Everything's great. And they insist, no, there's something, there's something, there's something. And I have a woman who's been working and working and working. Mold toxin and metal toxins through the roof. It made her go. She and her husband went home and pulled the drywall off the basement floor, fully garbed up this time. And she's like, I think I found a problem.
- 25:55But she's like, I wouldn't have even looked. They told us that it was remediated when we had a flood in our basement. They said everything would be fine. And so that's one experience, just one person. But when you come in and we dig deep and we've now validated the physical through evidence, then we can get to the deeper sources because now they trust us. They believe that we do care.
- 26:19that their best interest is my priority, just like it's your priority, is to really heal body, mind, and spirit. And so I preface my patients when they come in now, this isn't just going to be labs. We do body, mind, spirit work. Well, I'm going to push. You're going to have to push back if you don't like where we're going. But these are the things that the more resistance you have, the more we need to lean in here. So just be ready. And so I try to prepare over time. We don't always dig into it right away.
- 26:48You pre-frame it. But we get it. I get permission. Yeah. I meet you where you're at, whether that be super like Judeo-Christian or whether you're Wiccan or whether you go like to hang out with the rocks. I love all of it. All of that has got to me. Not a single person doesn't have a piece of God in you. And if I can serve, then I know I'm serving my highest purpose.
- 27:08It's so beautiful. And, um, this is critical work and I'm, you know, I, I like to say if there's, you know, if there's one toxin, you know, that if you had a magic wand and you could wave it, you know, and then there's so many over, over the world, what, what would it be? Like, what, what do you think could be the, the one thing if with your mission, you know, with what's in your heart that you could help people see and remove from their lives? What would that be?
- 27:35So one of the biggest things is anger. There's so many other things that are getting worked on. But anger is the thing that if you can release it out of your body, you'll improve your inflammation. You'll improve your sleep. You'll enhance your ability to move into love and peace and joy and gratitude. Because when you sit and hang out in anger, it's toxic to the whole environment around you because you put it out.
- 28:00And so you're not even allowing in the healing that is really quite available to you. So if you can let go of anger, that is a huge step towards healing.
- 28:10Yeah, that's a really good answer. I really, I appreciate you saying that because I feel like so many people have anger and they blame, right? And they stay in anger and they use anger as an excuse. We need to participate in our own rescue. And anger is one of the linchpins for us not to participate in a rescue. We use it as an excuse and it's toxic energy. And I know me personally, when I react in anger, I'm very, like I forgive myself quickly
- 28:39which is another tool. I forgive myself quickly, but it feels really bad. All right. And I, and, but I, what I would add to what you're saying is that magic wand of anger. I think one of the most powerful tools is to forgive yourself immediately after you release that anger. Right. And find healthy ways of releasing your anger. And there's so many techniques that I like. Right.
- 29:00growling and screaming and just getting away and just emotional release techniques. And there's so much available today. So we're almost without excuse. We just need guides. We need loving people that have plowed the journey like yourself, Reagan, that have come from massive abuse, massive challenges, and didn't make excuses. But along the way, you had the courage to become a doctor. You had the courage to maybe...
- 29:27bear your soul through a very psychedelic journey. Cause that's, if done correctly, that's really scary and hard. You have to face some deep, dark secrets that open up. And then God saying, I love you. You know, you're beautiful. You're kind. I'm sorry that that happened to you. You know, those are some of the things that when you get quiet, you know,
- 29:49And use breath work and a lot of these tools that have been buried for, you know, that were around for millennia and then got buried once we got to the U.S. because of the medical system. Right. We can heal our bodies with some of these ancient wisdom and tools. Right. Like breath work.
- 30:06And so many other modalities, nutritional healing, energy work, like a lot of the stuff that I wouldn't even touch five years ago. And I'm still wary, to be honest with you. Sure. Spiritual things can be very dangerous as far as I'm concerned. So I'm very protective of what I do. But some of the things that I've been brave enough and you've been brave enough have released a lot of bad energy. I've literally felt it coming out of my hands. Mm hmm.
- 30:30Going into the ground, back into the depths of hell where it belongs and waking up a new person. Yeah. Coming back fresh and new just from breath work. Right. 30 minutes of breathing, life changing. And I think your message and what you're doing, I just I encourage you to to dig in deep.
- 30:50to be even more brave, more courageous, knowing that you have the wind of God behind you. Thank you. And there's going to be some beautiful things that come. I can't wait to interview you again a year from now and the stories and just even your personal healing journey. Yep. It's going to be beautiful.
- 31:06I can't wait either because I do know that the more people know about this, the more people are going to have that little nudge to check it out. Even if they don't understand it, just like you said. Yeah. You're leery of it. There's a lot to be leery of because we have been kind of burned lately with so many things. And people have abused it. Uh-huh. Right. And so I'm here for it. And I promise you I will continue my healing journey and I'm not going to quit. I promise.
- 31:34Amen. I love it. Well, thanks so much for being on the show. And if this has sparked interest, you know, reach out to us. What's your website? So people can, because a lot, this is just, hey, we're giving people hope. Right. Right. But do you have any tools on your website that people can learn more about this particular topic?
- 31:51Yes. So I am in the process of building the program that I run. It is at www.quantummetabolicreset.com, spelled just the way it sounds. There is ways to connect with me for discovery calls. There's ways to do a program by yourself. I always advise with help because the community is so important for tribal healing, like inner child healing. You need your tribe. You've been marginalized and you're by yourself. So we need to bring you into the tribe.
- 32:21Yeah, tribal tribe. Yes. And so that is the program website. I'm Whole Health MHK in Manhattan, Kansas. So there's social sites there. There's website there. And it's Dr. Reagan Tilly. You know, you can find me that way, too. Well, beautiful. Thank you for sharing. And I hope everyone really paid attention because this was a really powerful show. Thanks so much. I appreciate the opportunity. This has been phenomenal for me, too. Thank you so much, Warren. You bet.
