- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It is La La Keent. Welcome back to
- 0:09Speaker 1: the Give Them La La Podcast.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I am dying because I went on the GRAM and
- 0:16Speaker 2: I asked, y'all, what do you want to talk about?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Let's talk about it all and today I don't know
- 0:22Speaker 2: what y'all are on, but you.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Had the best questions.
- 0:28Speaker 3: They came through.
- 0:29Speaker 1: They did come through.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Usually, like I know the drill, it's usually going to
- 0:32Speaker 2: be about my relationship with the cast, talk about Mandi
- 0:36Speaker 2: Pump Rules.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I got it. I love talking about that shit.
- 0:39Speaker 2: But there's a lot of questions today where I was
- 0:42Speaker 2: reading them going.
- 0:43Speaker 1: First of all, this is awesome.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Second of all, I love that you're turning to me
- 0:49Speaker 2: to get advice on this.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I'm so excited to hear these questions. I haven't heard
- 0:53Speaker 3: of Orsino.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I They're good. Yeah, yeah, they're really good. Did you
- 0:57Speaker 1: have a good weekend, Jess?
- 0:59Speaker 3: I did. I had a relaxing weekend, saying some karaoke
- 1:04Speaker 3: with myself, did some cleaning.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I saw that on your Instagram. Yeah, you were supposed
- 1:08Speaker 2: to be folding laundry.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I was, but I needed to do that first and
- 1:12Speaker 3: I got it out of the way. One song, easy
- 1:14Speaker 3: breezy and then moved on to folding laundry. Went to
- 1:16Speaker 3: Santa Monica for breakfast, just like little things like that.
- 1:19Speaker 3: How about you, though, because I saw you attended a
- 1:23Speaker 3: gorgeous baby shower.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I had my two best friends since childhood, Madison and
- 1:29Speaker 2: Danielle there. We recorded a podcast that will come out
- 1:33Speaker 2: next week. I loved having them. I got to see
- 1:36Speaker 2: Danielle's baby for the first time in person.
- 1:39Speaker 1: He's so unbelievably gorgeous.
- 1:43Speaker 3: He's so gorgeous.
- 1:45Speaker 1: He's like the most perfect little human. I was like,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I have to say, besides my own baby, because we
- 1:52Speaker 1: all feel that way obviously, this is the most gorgeous
- 1:54Speaker 1: baby I've ever seen.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Was Ocean? How was Ocean with.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Him completely obsessed?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Would wake up in the morning and it's so cute
- 2:01Speaker 2: now because I think because Ocean's been hanging out with
- 2:04Speaker 2: Summer Moon a lot. Ocean usually calls me mama, but
- 2:08Speaker 2: Summer Moon calls her mom mommy. So now Ocean has
- 2:12Speaker 2: started calling me mommy and she screams it at the
- 2:15Speaker 2: top of her lungs in the morning, Mommy, momy. It's
- 2:22Speaker 2: the cutest thing, like from her crib yep yep. So
- 2:27Speaker 2: I would go in there, Oh it's eleven eleven, make
- 2:29Speaker 2: a wish, my loves.
- 2:31Speaker 1: But I go in there. And the second I would
- 2:34Speaker 1: go in.
- 2:34Speaker 3: There, she go, baby, baby, baby.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And I'm like, yes, we're gonna go see the baby.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Danielle let Ocean holds Rome. She was just in heaven
- 2:45Speaker 2: and I asked her. I said, do you want mama to.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Have a baby?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh yeah, I said boy or a girl? It
- 2:51Speaker 1: was girl.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I was like, oh, she said girl.
- 2:54Speaker 1: She did say girl. Interesting, isn't that Yeah. I don't
- 2:57Speaker 1: even think she knows. She just wanted the because so
- 3:00Speaker 1: she doesn't care.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Okay, I'm working with Ocean on cause she can say yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 2: And We've been watching Miss Rachel a lot. But I'm
- 3:08Speaker 2: trying to get her to understand when I ask a question,
- 3:12Speaker 2: to not not have it be yes or no.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Okay, okay, you ask a question.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Like do you want asparagus or spinach?
- 3:23Speaker 2: And even if she just points like, I need her
- 3:26Speaker 2: to understand, like I'm asking you a question on these two,
- 3:28Speaker 2: it's not yes or no.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Sometimes she'll say yes or no. She always says yeah,
- 3:33Speaker 2: and I'm like, but which one this or this?
- 3:37Speaker 3: But her yeah, yeah, mind you. Every time I see her,
- 3:40Speaker 3: because I'll go like maybe a week without seeing her
- 3:42Speaker 3: because I'll be working from the office. She's like all
- 3:46Speaker 3: these new words are added to her vocabulary. So I'll
- 3:48Speaker 3: see her and I'll say things like like the last
- 3:51Speaker 3: time I saw her at the office, I was like,
- 3:54Speaker 3: I think I said. She was like pointing to the door,
- 3:56Speaker 3: and I was like, what do you want? What do
- 3:58Speaker 3: you want? And I think she said something like open, yeah, open, and.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, shocked. It's so cute.
- 4:05Speaker 2: So we had a full house this weekend, which is
- 4:08Speaker 2: not hard to fill a house that's not a house
- 4:10Speaker 2: and it's an apartment.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but hey, it's like you love that, right.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I love people on top of each other. Yeah, it's
- 4:17Speaker 2: my most favorite thing. So Maddie and Danny came into town,
- 4:20Speaker 2: and they came because Christina Kelly is having a.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Baby in March.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Her due day is one day after Oceans, which is amazing.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm secretly hoping that it falls right on Ocean's birthday.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I hope it's March fifteenth. And she was like, she goes,
- 4:36Speaker 2: I don't want it to be March fifteenth because I
- 4:38Speaker 2: don't want, you know, that's Ocean's birthday, and I go.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But then we can like split the cost of birthday parties.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say, be awesome.
- 4:45Speaker 3: And also when you I feel like when you're a
- 4:47Speaker 3: little girl or little whatever, when you're a child, you
- 4:52Speaker 3: enjoy sharing a birthday with your friend until I think,
- 4:56Speaker 3: until you get to like sixteen, and even then, do
- 4:58Speaker 3: you remember I remember being so oh excited if I
- 5:00Speaker 3: heard someone had my same birthday and being like, we
- 5:03Speaker 3: should have a birthday party together and all those things.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I just like sharing things. I've always been that way,
- 5:09Speaker 2: Like I don't care if you get the same outfit
- 5:10Speaker 2: as me. I don't care if you get the same shoes, bag, whatever,
- 5:13Speaker 2: Like I really don't care. I don't care if you
- 5:14Speaker 2: share my birthday. And I like people that have my
- 5:18Speaker 2: same birthday because yes, even if it's around the same time,
- 5:21Speaker 2: we can share a birthday party.
- 5:23Speaker 1: And then if no one shows up, it's like, well
- 5:25Speaker 1: they didn't like you. They don't like you either.
- 5:30Speaker 3: That's so true. Well, Caessa, you don't have any friends.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Eat, you don't have any friends with me. I love
- 5:36Speaker 2: being miserable with someone.
- 5:39Speaker 3: There you go and you have each other. So then
- 5:42Speaker 3: you're both weirdos.
- 5:44Speaker 1: If no one shows up, totally, I just like a
- 5:46Speaker 1: little partner in crime.
- 5:47Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 5:48Speaker 2: So the baby shower was absolutely beautiful. I loved it
- 5:53Speaker 2: because there were no games.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Oh you like that?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, all play games.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I'm down for it. But it was just like a
- 6:01Speaker 2: group of and it was men and chicks.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Okay, is that how it usually is?
- 6:06Speaker 1: I feel like Britney's boys came towards the end.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Okay, it with all women.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Yeah, this was.
- 6:12Speaker 2: You know, Christina and Max gave a really sweet and
- 6:15Speaker 2: heartfelt speech. But other than that, it was like there
- 6:18Speaker 2: wasn't opening gifts in front of the group, which is
- 6:21Speaker 2: great for us because I really don't care.
- 6:24Speaker 1: What you got. Yeah, I hate to be that person.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I really don't give a shit.
- 6:29Speaker 3: This is great because I think a lot of people
- 6:31Speaker 3: throw these parties like me planning like a bridal shower,
- 6:34Speaker 3: and I'm like, what did people like I don't don't
- 6:36Speaker 3: okay in front of gifts?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And then, but more importantly, the person that the baby
- 6:41Speaker 2: shower is for doesn't have to sit there.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And put on some like oh my gosh, I saw
- 6:46Speaker 1: it for fucking twenty five hundred hours.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yeah, and if someone gave you the same gift, like
- 6:52Speaker 3: the oh my god, it's okay, like or whatever, because
- 6:56Speaker 3: I can keep this one in the car and.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I can put this one. It's like, it's just exhausting. Yeah,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Did you do that?
- 7:04Speaker 1: I never had a baby shower.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You didn't know.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So that's what's so amazing is if I have a
- 7:10Speaker 2: future partner and we like decide to have a commitment ceremony,
- 7:15Speaker 2: I've never had a bridal shower.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I've never had a bachelorette party. I've never been married,
- 7:21Speaker 1: never had a baby shower.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Like, I've never had any of it. That's great. Yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 3: that's amazing. You get to do them all for the
- 7:27Speaker 3: first time.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I get to do them all for the first time,
- 7:29Speaker 1: which is so great for me. Yeah, yeah, that's cool.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Let's get to the questions real quick because I can't
- 7:40Speaker 2: stop thinking about them.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And I'm going to put the best one at the beginning.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Pooping in a small apartment you live in with your boyfriend.
- 7:48Speaker 1: How to get confidence with it.
- 7:51Speaker 2: We just talked about this literally minutes ago.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Okay, this is going to be a TMI. This question
- 7:59Speaker 1: and what happened.
- 8:00Speaker 2: There's something very satisfying about going to the bathroom. And
- 8:04Speaker 2: I've been there where like I've gone to boyfriend's homes
- 8:08Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm there for the
- 8:10Speaker 2: entire weekend. How am I going to like not take
- 8:13Speaker 2: a shit'.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Just call it what it is.
- 8:17Speaker 2: My mom always said, everyone does it. I think opening
- 8:21Speaker 2: the conversation. I feel like that's why I'm so open
- 8:24Speaker 2: about talking about things, because shit gets awkward sometimes, and
- 8:26Speaker 2: if we just break the ice by like talking about it,
- 8:30Speaker 2: things are way less awkward, right, Yeah, And like, guess what,
- 8:35Speaker 2: your boyfriend's going to take a shit too, and it's
- 8:37Speaker 2: probably not gonna smell.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Great, and probably more shits.
- 8:40Speaker 1: There's gonna be a lot.
- 8:41Speaker 2: You're gonna eat funky food sometimes that taste delicious but
- 8:44Speaker 2: is funny on the bowls.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Just rip off the band aid.
- 8:48Speaker 2: By the way, Pooperrie is also great. I keep yeah
- 8:50Speaker 2: that travel poopri Yeah, just spray that. My favorite thing
- 8:55Speaker 2: to break the ice is after you go potty, just
- 8:58Speaker 2: like roll out to your man and be like I
- 9:00Speaker 2: would avoid that area for just a sec and then
- 9:03Speaker 2: it's like, Okay, yeah, she took a poop and I'm
- 9:07Speaker 2: going to sum at some point take a poop too, and.
- 9:09Speaker 3: It's not weird. We all do it.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Question, even Beyonce is taking massive shits sometimes.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Well, I don't know about the question if you're in
- 9:21Speaker 3: a because I hate this, but I know a lot
- 9:23Speaker 3: of people love it. If you're in a long term relationship,
- 9:27Speaker 3: do you ever get to a point where you take
- 9:29Speaker 3: a shit while your man is in the bathroom?
- 9:32Speaker 2: I think you got to keep that part private, you know,
- 9:37Speaker 2: because during sex and things like that, you want to
- 9:39Speaker 2: keep it spicy and you just don't want to think
- 9:42Speaker 2: about the gross stuff.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's it, I think.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Don't you agree?
- 9:49Speaker 3: No? I agree. I'm not one which people are shocked
- 9:52Speaker 3: about because Kyle and I are so open with each
- 9:54Speaker 3: other when it cut and I live in a one bed,
- 9:56Speaker 3: one bath when it comes to bathroom stuff off limits.
- 10:00Speaker 3: If he like I've been, don't want to hear about it? No,
- 10:02Speaker 3: I don't want to. I mean he is, like he's
- 10:05Speaker 3: a man and typical with the bathroom stuff, so like
- 10:08Speaker 3: sometimes it's fine, but like if I'm doing my hair
- 10:11Speaker 3: in the bathroom and he comes in to even go pee,
- 10:13Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, do you okay? Do you need me
- 10:15Speaker 3: to excuse you for a moment, and he's like yeah,
- 10:17Speaker 3: and I'll get out shut the door. Never And if
- 10:21Speaker 3: he like goes takes a shit in the bathroom, I'll say,
- 10:24Speaker 3: like did you spray? And like how long should I
- 10:26Speaker 3: avoid the area? I'm just not a bathroom person, so
- 10:28Speaker 3: like bathroom humor or whatever. So for me, if i
- 10:32Speaker 3: have to go, I'll go in. I'll spray. I always
- 10:36Speaker 3: spray and use the poopery and then I'm usually quick
- 10:40Speaker 3: like a few minutes and then I'll leave. And if
- 10:42Speaker 3: it like is really bad in there, I'll say something
- 10:45Speaker 3: like my tummies a little off, maybe avoid the bathroom
- 10:48Speaker 3: for like a few minutes. And he'll make jokes about it.
- 10:51Speaker 3: But yeah, I've never been like I've never been one
- 10:53Speaker 3: to like take a shit in front of my man
- 10:55Speaker 3: while he's brushing his teeth.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Oh no, you do that?
- 10:58Speaker 3: Get the fuck out, or like even when they're in
- 11:01Speaker 3: the shower. I'm like a lot of my girlfriend's, like
- 11:03Speaker 3: my one friend from home, she's like, you don't use
- 11:06Speaker 3: a bathroom when your man's in the shower. What if
- 11:08Speaker 3: you got to go? I'm like, well then I got
- 11:09Speaker 3: to hold it, And she's like no, I'm always in there.
- 11:12Speaker 2: See, my mind just goes to like there's nothing worth
- 11:15Speaker 2: Like if I'm brushing my teeth, I'm picturing like it's
- 11:18Speaker 2: going in my mouth. Or if I'm taking a really warm,
- 11:23Speaker 2: yummy shower and you're taking shit, steamy shit, I don't
- 11:25Speaker 2: want to, please, don't.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I can't smell that along with my like gorgeous shampoo
- 11:29Speaker 3: or something.
- 11:30Speaker 1: No, No, that's.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Why I think just the little thing of hey, just
- 11:33Speaker 2: like stay out of there for a sec.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I like that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you know yeeps, I poop.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I get more afraid of gas.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Granted, if you are someone who sits in front of
- 11:46Speaker 3: your boyfriend and he's fine or your man or your
- 11:48Speaker 3: girlfriend whatever, and they're fine with it, more power too you,
- 11:51Speaker 3: More power to you. I just personally, I don't know
- 11:54Speaker 3: what it was. If it was something in my child,
- 11:56Speaker 3: who knows, But I'm just not one of those people
- 11:59Speaker 3: like gas, you're like farting. Yeah, I mean that I
- 12:05Speaker 3: agree with.
- 12:05Speaker 1: How do you do that?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Like if you are in the bed with Kyle and
- 12:09Speaker 2: your tummies acting funky, what do he well? If you
- 12:13Speaker 2: just let her rip?
- 12:14Speaker 3: Easy for me, because he'll go He goes to bed
- 12:16Speaker 3: at like eight pm. So I'll it's wild to think,
- 12:19Speaker 3: but I kind of still hold it. And we've been
- 12:22Speaker 3: together for almost seven years.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You hold it well, so not all night.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I hold it until he goes to sleep, and then
- 12:28Speaker 3: I slowly release. But like Kyle, I mean, we've had
- 12:33Speaker 3: talks about this. I'm like, you have to go to
- 12:36Speaker 3: the doctors. You fart too much. And he's like, I'm like,
- 12:39Speaker 3: you gotta like.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Get it together.
- 12:41Speaker 3: You get it together. He farts constantly and laughs about it,
- 12:45Speaker 3: but he's respectful too. He's like, I'm trying, like I'm trying,
- 12:48Speaker 3: but sometimes it just slips out.
- 12:50Speaker 1: But me, I feel like it's really unhealthy to hold it. Jess,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I know, but.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I don't hold it for long or if I really
- 12:56Speaker 3: have bad like gas, I'll walk into the bathroom and
- 13:00Speaker 3: he's like laying in bed and I'm like, ooh, this
- 13:02Speaker 3: is gonna be bad. I can't hold it. I walk
- 13:03Speaker 3: into the bathroom, let it go, and then walk back
- 13:08Speaker 3: into the bedroom. But he goes to bed at like
- 13:10Speaker 3: eight PM, and I don't go go to bed until
- 13:12Speaker 3: like ten or eleven.
- 13:13Speaker 1: So, oh see, some stank will wake me right up?
- 13:16Speaker 3: Really? Oh yeah, me too, though, Do you hold around
- 13:19Speaker 3: your what previous partners do you just let a rip
- 13:23Speaker 3: like sound and all.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Well, I mean previous No.
- 13:29Speaker 2: That's why I can speak on it being uncomfortable, because
- 13:33Speaker 2: it's like you hold it and then it's like now
- 13:35Speaker 2: I just need.
- 13:35Speaker 1: To throw up. Yeah, because I'm so sick. My stomach
- 13:39Speaker 1: is just air right now.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Really. Yeah, I don't even find it like disgusting. Like
- 13:44Speaker 3: my she won't hate me for saying this, but like
- 13:46Speaker 3: my sister and my best friend constantly letting it rip
- 13:48Speaker 3: around me, and I think it's funny and like, but
- 13:50Speaker 3: there's something about me, am I saying them, Yes, that's
- 13:54Speaker 3: what it is. I'm not having sex with them, and
- 13:56Speaker 3: it's just something about it that I'm like, I don't know,
- 13:58Speaker 3: I hold it in. But then he doesn't care.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Because he's a trainer. And I've noticed people that are
- 14:04Speaker 2: into fitness and health. Yeah, they think about it as like.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You can't hold it, you got to get it out, Yes,
- 14:11Speaker 1: because it does this, that and the other to the body.
- 14:13Speaker 1: And when this, that and the other happens to the body,
- 14:15Speaker 1: your muscles do this, and your blah blah blah does that.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I've noticed, So note to self I'm
- 14:21Speaker 2: gonna go for someone who's in the health industry because
- 14:24Speaker 2: then they're gonna want to hear about that stuff and they're.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Gonna be like, good for you. I'm so happy for you.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Yes. And that's the thing is that he talks to
- 14:32Speaker 3: his clients, and since I'm a client of his, he
- 14:34Speaker 3: had to talk to me. He shows a chart of
- 14:36Speaker 3: poops between one and ten and he'll say, point, what
- 14:39Speaker 3: does your poop usually look like? So he's very and
- 14:42Speaker 3: you have to point, and he tells you if it's
- 14:43Speaker 3: healthy or not. He talks to women about periods, so it.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Is very like scientific. Yeah, I'm technical. Amazing question.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I hope that you and your partner get to a
- 14:53Speaker 2: place where you can poop in the same space. Yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 2: not together, but in the same small apartment. Yeah. This
- 15:02Speaker 2: person says, how do you not let the unknowns take
- 15:05Speaker 2: over your mind? We talked about this, I think last week.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Keeping your head where your feet are because I constantly
- 15:13Speaker 2: sit in the what ifs?
- 15:14Speaker 4: You do?
- 15:15Speaker 3: What do you elaborate on that?
- 15:18Speaker 2: I think about things one hundred years from now. But
- 15:22Speaker 2: what if this happens, then this is gonna happen, and
- 15:24Speaker 2: then if that happens this will happen, and thirty seconds
- 15:28Speaker 2: has passed and I've already talked myself into the deepest,
- 15:30Speaker 2: darkest hole you could possibly be in.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Right, we did talk about this because it's anxiety, and
- 15:35Speaker 3: it's the worrying twice. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Why not worry about it when it happens.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Versus exactly, don't cross bridges that you don't have to
- 15:42Speaker 2: cross yet. So when that happens and you start going
- 15:45Speaker 2: into that place. This is why I constantly am preaching
- 15:49Speaker 2: to people to have a higher power, no matter what
- 15:52Speaker 2: it is.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I don't give a shit that you can.
- 15:55Speaker 2: When you feel yourself looping and spiraling into that place,
- 16:00Speaker 2: you immediately have the tools to sit down, take your
- 16:03Speaker 2: deep breaths, punt it to something greater than you, remember
- 16:08Speaker 2: where you are, look around you and see where you are,
- 16:11Speaker 2: and become connected with that space. Like Okay, right now,
- 16:14Speaker 2: I'm sitting down, I'm doing a podcast, I'm keeping my
- 16:18Speaker 2: head where my feet are, and we're not moving from
- 16:21Speaker 2: this space right mentally, you got it, Like connect your
- 16:25Speaker 2: feet to your brain.
- 16:26Speaker 1: That's what I have to do. When the unknowns start
- 16:29Speaker 1: taking over.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and you who taught you that again said like
- 16:33Speaker 3: you say, you shouted them out last week, but I
- 16:35Speaker 3: just they said that to you and it seemed like
- 16:37Speaker 3: it really changed your perspective of lawyer. Head where your
- 16:39Speaker 3: feet are?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yes, yes, because when I entered this new phase of
- 16:43Speaker 2: life and what I was going into, I was constantly
- 16:46Speaker 2: thinking about the what ifs and that will take you out.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll take days off your life or your Yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 3: and the anxiety and the stress and they I think
- 17:00Speaker 3: keeping your head where your feet are it sounds so simple,
- 17:02Speaker 3: but it's like, yes.
- 17:03Speaker 2: No, it's extremely difficult. And that's why I think everything
- 17:07Speaker 2: has to work in tandem, the punting it to a
- 17:10Speaker 2: higher power take over. It's becoming too much. Now I'm
- 17:14Speaker 2: going to do what I have control of, which is
- 17:17Speaker 2: mentally getting myself to be exactly where I am and
- 17:20Speaker 2: focusing on right now. And when I get to the
- 17:23Speaker 2: place where I have to cross a bridge, we'll deal
- 17:26Speaker 2: with it then. But I ain't crossing bridges I don't
- 17:28Speaker 2: need to cross because someone could burn that bridge.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Yes, How am I going to cross a burn bridge?
- 17:36Speaker 1: You don't?
- 17:37Speaker 3: That's so true? Did Chris Medina say the burning bridges?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Was for you in twenty twenty four or was that
- 17:42Speaker 3: for you at the moment?
- 17:44Speaker 1: No, he said when did I mean it was in
- 17:46Speaker 1: twenty twenty two? He said? This is the year of
- 17:49Speaker 1: burning bridges.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Okay, and we have that on an episode.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Right, No, I haven't had him. We should get him
- 17:54Speaker 1: back on the podcast.
- 17:55Speaker 3: And now everyone will DM and be like, when's he coming?
- 17:57Speaker 1: Let's have him back on. I'm gonna reach out to him.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Okay, this person wants to know, are you keen on
- 18:04Speaker 2: doing IVF to have another baby?
- 18:06Speaker 3: Ooh, good question.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I'm not opposed to it. Did I say that right?
- 18:12Speaker 1: Opposed to it?
- 18:12Speaker 3: I'm not opposed to it?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, whoa?
- 18:14Speaker 2: That sounded really weird, really kind of Do you ever
- 18:17Speaker 2: say things and you're like that makes zero sense all
- 18:19Speaker 2: the time?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Yeah, And I question it and I spell things and
- 18:21Speaker 3: I'm like, well that's not how you spell it, and
- 18:23Speaker 3: it is weird. You're not opposed to it? Is IVF
- 18:29Speaker 3: after you freeze your eggs or is that something?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yes?
- 18:31Speaker 2: IVF is you take your eggs out, take the sperm,
- 18:35Speaker 2: and create an embryo and then they insert it.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Interesting, So this is IVF is one of several techniques
- 18:42Speaker 3: available blah blah blah to help people during IVF, and
- 18:44Speaker 3: egg is removed from the woman's ovaries and fertilized with
- 18:47Speaker 3: sperm in a laboratory. The fertilized egg, called an embryo,
- 18:51Speaker 3: is then returned to the woman's wombs. So maybe it
- 18:53Speaker 3: don't freeze it first, or do you.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I think most people that decide to do IVF, they're
- 19:00Speaker 2: not freezing their eggs. Okay, they're like taking it's when
- 19:05Speaker 2: you're really struggling to get pregnant, they take the eggs
- 19:08Speaker 2: if you if you haven't met a partner. People, it's
- 19:11Speaker 2: really like insurance on being able to have a baby.
- 19:14Speaker 2: You freeze your eggs, whether you're the one that carries
- 19:16Speaker 2: the baby or a surrogate carries the baby. You're just
- 19:20Speaker 2: taking the eggs before.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You get to the point where like there's no eggs
- 19:24Speaker 1: or the your numbers drop.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm not at that point yet. I went
- 19:30Speaker 2: into a fertility specialist.
- 19:32Speaker 1: He said that I.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Could be an egg donor. Okay, yes, but he said everything.
- 19:39Speaker 2: This is when I was, you know, weighing my options
- 19:41Speaker 2: for a sperm donor, which I'm still thinking about.
- 19:45Speaker 1: That is not out of the question.
- 19:47Speaker 2: So I just wanted to make sure everything was good
- 19:49Speaker 2: and right and tied up there it is.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm not a posed IVF I will do. I know.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I want another baby, So whatever I need to do
- 19:57Speaker 2: to make that happen, whether it's meeting a partner, even
- 19:59Speaker 2: though that freaks me the fuck out to have a
- 20:03Speaker 2: baby with somebody, or IVF, sperm donor IUI type deal,
- 20:10Speaker 2: any of it, any of it. I just want Ocean
- 20:12Speaker 2: to have a sibling and I want to experience being
- 20:15Speaker 2: pregnant again.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it's all wild, like the egg freezing and
- 20:19Speaker 3: all of it is like so it's very I've I've
- 20:23Speaker 3: you know, I know, we talked about this a little
- 20:25Speaker 3: bit a few episodes ago. I don't know if it's all,
- 20:28Speaker 3: but a lot of it seems like privileged stuff to do.
- 20:32Speaker 3: I don't know how much IVF costs.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It's you it's expensive. Yeah, it's extremely expensive.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Okay, so it's all it's like with same with egg freezing,
- 20:41Speaker 3: and like a lot of all stuff is so expensive
- 20:43Speaker 3: and it's like just you know, good for any of
- 20:46Speaker 3: the women who can do it and who can afford it,
- 20:49Speaker 3: and if you can't, it's like a ton of us
- 20:51Speaker 3: other women. It's like maybe something you think about down
- 20:54Speaker 3: the line, and if not, then it's just something you
- 20:57Speaker 3: sort of pass up. It's very interesting. I'm I'm still
- 21:00Speaker 3: obviously learning a lot about all of it, because I
- 21:02Speaker 3: just asked what IBF is.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Well.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I have friends who, from the time they were like
- 21:07Speaker 2: little kids, have just been incredible with children, right, they
- 21:12Speaker 2: just have had this like motherly instinct from the time
- 21:14Speaker 2: they were little tots. Yeah, and they struggle to get pregnant.
- 21:19Speaker 2: And I went through this guilt thing calling my friends
- 21:22Speaker 2: who are going through this journey and saying like, I'm
- 21:26Speaker 2: pregnant sixty days after I removed my IUD you know.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And I still struggle with it where these people have
- 21:32Speaker 2: incredible marriages and incredible lives and I'm sitting here with
- 21:36Speaker 2: a baby, and my world essentially has like that's all
- 21:40Speaker 2: they want in life is a baby, and here I
- 21:41Speaker 2: have the baby with like kind of a messed up situation.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So that fucks with my mind. Sometimes I'm not even
- 21:49Speaker 1: opposed to adoption. I just want a baby. However the
- 21:52Speaker 1: baby gets here, wherever the baby.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Comes from, I just know I would like another child. Yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 2: So that's where I'm at.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Are the questions good today, Judy are really good.
- 22:03Speaker 3: These are great.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Oh, this one's funny and well not funny, kind of
- 22:08Speaker 2: like dark but also.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It'll be quick. What would be your last meal on Earth?
- 22:16Speaker 1: So if you were to it's your last day and
- 22:20Speaker 1: then you're getting taken out, do you know yours? Yeah?
- 22:23Speaker 1: I know exactly what mine would be.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I it's weird because I think, like, if it's my
- 22:28Speaker 3: last day and a meteor's coming, I would just be
- 22:30Speaker 3: like I wouldn't necessarily be thinking about food, and I
- 22:32Speaker 3: was sitting with my loved ones. But if I had to. Oh,
- 22:37Speaker 3: I hate to say this, but I think I think
- 22:42Speaker 3: steak and potatoes. And I hate to say this because
- 22:45Speaker 3: I know we're on our journeys right now.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Well after we yeah, after we went to the sanctuary. Yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 2: like now I really want to give up the meat. Yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 2: but I'm not judging you. This is your last day
- 22:58Speaker 2: on Earth. Yeah, it would do a steak, any sauce.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I would do a steak, no sauce, just a nice
- 23:03Speaker 3: mediumware steak. Oh my god, garlic butter, I guess would
- 23:06Speaker 3: be the sauce. Then I have my garlic mashed potatoes
- 23:10Speaker 3: and then broccoli done. Yum, that's what I'm eating. That's
- 23:15Speaker 3: just what I'm eating. What about you?
- 23:17Speaker 1: I would have and I've actually cut this out of
- 23:22Speaker 1: my diet, like long before we even visited the sanctuary. Okay,
- 23:26Speaker 1: a lambio. I know it's horrible, but it is the
- 23:31Speaker 1: best thing on earth. I would have Bokleva for my dessert.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Okay, good.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And to be honest, if it's my last day, we're
- 23:39Speaker 1: going out with the bang, I'm having a jack and
- 23:40Speaker 1: coke and I'm gonna wash that down with a vodka soda.
- 23:43Speaker 1: We're fucking shit up.
- 23:45Speaker 3: A jack and coke first. So I always thought your
- 23:48Speaker 3: drink of choice when you were drinking was vodka soda.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Why jack and coke?
- 23:51Speaker 1: That is that?
- 23:51Speaker 3: Like?
- 23:51Speaker 1: I just I just liked to jack and coke with
- 23:54Speaker 1: a meal, youkay?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:56Speaker 1: And I loved to shoot honey jack Oh my god. See.
- 24:00Speaker 3: And that's another thing too, that's interesting. I've talked about
- 24:03Speaker 3: this before with Kyle and said, if let's say we
- 24:06Speaker 3: knew a meteor was coming and we haven't, we had
- 24:08Speaker 3: a few hours left to live, I would want to
- 24:11Speaker 3: get hammered. And someone like Kyle said he was like,
- 24:14Speaker 3: absolutely not. I would want to be completely sober, like
- 24:17Speaker 3: I wanted, like take in those moments with you, those
- 24:19Speaker 3: these last moments on Earth. I am going to be
- 24:23Speaker 3: so drunk.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Let's be real, if it's my last day on Earth,
- 24:27Speaker 2: for real, I don't have an appetite. I'm vomiting, and
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'm extremely upset exactly. That's why it's just like, it's
- 24:36Speaker 2: an easy question. Don't think about it too much. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 2: because it let's be real, if any of us had
- 24:41Speaker 2: our last day on Earth and we knew it was
- 24:43Speaker 2: our last day, yeah, devastating.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Devastating, devastating. So I'm getting hammered. I'm not like, because
- 24:50Speaker 3: I talked about this with him too, I'm not trying
- 24:52Speaker 3: any new drugs like I'm not because some people are like,
- 24:54Speaker 3: oh my god, then I'm gonna do mushrooms.
- 24:56Speaker 1: It's like no, no, no, no, I'm sticking to what
- 24:58Speaker 1: I know, the drink.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Sticking to what I know. I'm getting hammered. Yeah, maybe
- 25:02Speaker 3: if I can stomach a steak. I'm eating the steak.
- 25:05Speaker 3: But I'm really just focusing on time with my friends
- 25:08Speaker 3: and family, and I get list.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I really want to spend a lot of time with
- 25:14Speaker 1: my friends and family, and I want to give Kyle
- 25:16Speaker 1: a bloodless big kiss.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Oh my god, it's not really happening. Let's keep its
- 25:23Speaker 4: surface level because if we go there, it's gonna take
- 25:26Speaker 4: me out if I start going to like ocean's face
- 25:29Speaker 4: and like no, my god.
- 25:31Speaker 3: No you can't do that. Did you not hear the
- 25:33Speaker 3: Jim Carrey story. It was Jim Carrey. I believe. If
- 25:37Speaker 3: I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But it was a celebrity.
- 25:38Speaker 3: I think it was Jim Carrey. He was on Hawaii
- 25:41Speaker 3: and he was with his assistant, and I think he
- 25:43Speaker 3: has a child.
- 25:43Speaker 1: You say he was on Hawaii Island.
- 25:46Speaker 3: He was in Hawaii. He was in Hawaii. They get
- 25:51Speaker 3: he gets a text from his assistant or there's an
- 25:54Speaker 3: alert that says there's a missile coming. You have like
- 25:58Speaker 3: an hour to live. Basically, take cover. You're about to die,
- 26:02Speaker 3: like literally. Their textsas that he's talking to his assistant
- 26:05Speaker 3: and they're like what do we do? And hiss. He
- 26:07Speaker 3: basically is like I don't want to die in a
- 26:09Speaker 3: car like trying to get off this island. So I'm
- 26:12Speaker 3: just gonna have to accept my fate. So he either
- 26:14Speaker 3: I don't know if he has a kid or not,
- 26:16Speaker 3: but he ends up being on the beach and sitting
- 26:18Speaker 3: there and he's like, Okay, this is it. And in
- 26:21Speaker 3: this moment, he said he and you can google this,
- 26:25Speaker 3: he like accepted his fate and like thought about all
- 26:28Speaker 3: these different things and it was like a true moment
- 26:31Speaker 3: of just like accepting his fate. And I think he
- 26:34Speaker 3: called it a beautiful moment. But and then they get
- 26:37Speaker 3: a caller text that like that was a April fool
- 26:40Speaker 3: and he was furious, but like, which I would be too, but.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I'd be furious too.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Wild.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but that I feel like, who knows, Maybe you
- 26:50Speaker 2: do tap into something where it's like, Okay, this is happening,
- 26:53Speaker 2: and I now I'm going to see what the other
- 26:55Speaker 2: side may or may not be.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Damn, this just got deep. I know, I really enjoyed
- 27:01Speaker 1: your simple question of what my last meal would be
- 27:03Speaker 1: a yarro with blac lablah. Let's just leave it at that.
- 27:07Speaker 2: At that, Okay, how do you manage to keep your
- 27:11Speaker 2: cool and not talk about all the things that are
- 27:13Speaker 2: going on?
- 27:14Speaker 3: I actually wonder that about you all the time.
- 27:16Speaker 2: It is the hardest thing in the world, it really is,
- 27:22Speaker 2: to not just like get on my story and be like.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Here it all is here.
- 27:29Speaker 2: It all is an out every single person who's participated
- 27:33Speaker 2: in the shit.
- 27:35Speaker 3: The self control that you have is astounding. Just so
- 27:40Speaker 3: people you know, your friends on here. No, the amount
- 27:44Speaker 3: of times I've told Lalla like it's time get on,
- 27:47Speaker 3: you know, make a video and time to tell the
- 27:50Speaker 3: truth and we're gonna release it, and she's just like
- 27:53Speaker 3: so another caliber and is like, Nope, it's not what
- 27:56Speaker 3: we're gonna do. I just got to control myself, got
- 28:00Speaker 3: to keep moving forward. So I don't know how you
- 28:02Speaker 3: do it. I would have been, well.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Firstly, I think about Ocean.
- 28:07Speaker 2: M hm, yeah, you know, it's I feel like I'm
- 28:10Speaker 2: playing a game of chess, which is I'm not used
- 28:12Speaker 2: to that at all, you know, but when someone is
- 28:18Speaker 2: when someone fights with fire, then I have no choice
- 28:22Speaker 2: but to fight with fire as well. But it's I
- 28:26Speaker 2: think about her first, and then I also going back
- 28:29Speaker 2: to how do you let the unknown not take over?
- 28:34Speaker 2: When I get to that place, I have to remember
- 28:36Speaker 2: to keep my head where my feet are.
- 28:37Speaker 1: And we're not doing that.
- 28:38Speaker 2: This is we have to like I believe in the universe,
- 28:42Speaker 2: and the universe has a plan and God has a plan,
- 28:44Speaker 2: and everyone is held accountable at some point.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Okay, even Tom.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Girardi at the ripe old age of almost eighty had
- 28:53Speaker 2: to answer.
- 28:53Speaker 1: For what he did.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all going to have that day come, and
- 29:01Speaker 2: I just kind of lean into that. Now will there
- 29:06Speaker 2: may be be a day where I say it's it's time,
- 29:08Speaker 2: I'm fucking done. There may be that day where it's like,
- 29:13Speaker 2: bring the fucking dogs out now I've had enough. Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 2: not time yet.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Yeah, And thinking about yeah, I can tell. I mean
- 29:21Speaker 3: I see it in you. Every day you think about ocean,
- 29:23Speaker 3: and then you have your faith that like that what's
- 29:28Speaker 3: done in the dark will come to light, like you
- 29:29Speaker 3: always say, so, I just have to.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Because it's all about ocean. It's all about ocean. Yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 1: so I have to, like and protecting her.
- 29:41Speaker 3: How wild is that that literally two and a half
- 29:45Speaker 3: three years ago, it was probably about you, not that
- 29:49Speaker 3: saying your self is Persian. But for me, most of
- 29:52Speaker 3: most things are about me right now I don't have
- 29:54Speaker 3: someone to go and then all of a sudden, in
- 29:57Speaker 3: within nine months, it's not about you. You would literally
- 30:01Speaker 3: put your life on the line for this being in
- 30:05Speaker 3: the world.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, I think.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I mean it's just incredible, like I think about it
- 30:10Speaker 3: with moms and dads, and I'm like, well, it's.
- 30:13Speaker 2: A very animalistic thing that happens. You know, you see
- 30:17Speaker 2: it in the wild with bears. You come for a
- 30:20Speaker 2: bear's clubs like that mama bear is clawing you to death.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's how I feel about ocean. Yeah, so there's that
- 30:28Speaker 1: look at me. I'm wired. I'm like, maybe I.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Can go live right now. And like when it comes
- 30:34Speaker 3: to that shit, I am not the best assistant because
- 30:37Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, here we go, it's time. I'm like
- 30:40Speaker 3: setting the lights up, relax, not time.
- 30:45Speaker 2: The relationship changes within the vander Pump Rules Cast.
- 30:49Speaker 3: How does it, oh, like, how does it change his season?
- 30:52Speaker 4: Well?
- 30:52Speaker 2: I okay, so it says the Vanner Pump Rules Cast former,
- 30:56Speaker 2: so maybe the former cast. Well with both, I mean
- 30:59Speaker 2: there's so much that happens where a passionate group, the
- 31:01Speaker 2: littlest things set us off. That's why we have a
- 31:04Speaker 2: show on the air. Yeah, because it's not normal most
- 31:07Speaker 2: people that can shake things off, like our group maybe
- 31:10Speaker 2: has a little bit of a tougher time. Things that
- 31:12Speaker 2: happened four, five, six years ago that like most people
- 31:16Speaker 2: would be like that happened a really long time ago
- 31:17Speaker 2: and people change. Our cast is like nope, holding you accountable.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Still for that. It's a lot.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and the former cast, like some of them want
- 31:31Speaker 2: nothing to do with vander talk, so we leave that
- 31:35Speaker 2: in the background, and other people like Dody I feel
- 31:40Speaker 2: like she's pretty open to hearing about it.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and she talks about it. She talked about it
- 31:43Speaker 3: on your podcast when she was a guest. Yeah.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:48Speaker 2: There's something about the former cast when they can say like, hey,
- 31:52Speaker 2: I don't like talking about this because it affects me
- 31:54Speaker 2: in this way that I'm like, I just love honesty
- 31:57Speaker 2: so much.
- 31:59Speaker 1: You do when you can tell me.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Like, hey, by the way this affects me, it kind
- 32:03Speaker 2: of ruffles my feathers.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about it. Great. Yeah, I'm
- 32:06Speaker 1: not a mind reader.
- 32:08Speaker 3: It's the dirt. I just think you love director, tell
- 32:11Speaker 3: me what you want so then I can go in
- 32:12Speaker 3: that d It's so simple and so many people don't
- 32:15Speaker 3: do it. You don't want me to do this anymore,
- 32:17Speaker 3: and it makes sense. Okay, great, not going to say it,
- 32:20Speaker 3: not going to do it. It's the tiptoeing and like
- 32:23Speaker 3: oh you did this, and like, well, I didn't know
- 32:25Speaker 3: not to do that.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I don't know it's true or the coming from an
- 32:27Speaker 2: angle of like really like you let it fester and
- 32:33Speaker 2: then you hit a breaking point. And it's like we
- 32:36Speaker 2: all do that where we try to shove things down
- 32:39Speaker 2: where communication is something like the thought of it is
- 32:41Speaker 2: so easy, like just express yourself, but it's like that
- 32:45Speaker 2: shit is hard.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it is hard.
- 32:47Speaker 1: It's really hard.
- 32:49Speaker 2: It's hard to come from a place of vulnerability instead
- 32:53Speaker 2: of like this affects me and the only way I
- 32:55Speaker 2: know how to deal with these feelings is to immediately
- 32:59Speaker 2: go into defense mode and aggression.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Do you ever because this is thinking about you and like,
- 33:06Speaker 3: because I do this all the time. Not all the time,
- 33:08Speaker 3: but I used to. Do you ever find yourself in
- 33:11Speaker 3: an argument or in a battle in midway through you
- 33:13Speaker 3: realize like, oh shit, I'm on the wrong end, but
- 33:15Speaker 3: now I can't back down. I gotta keep going or
- 33:17Speaker 3: do you never You're like, if I'm about to go
- 33:19Speaker 3: into an argument, I know I'm I'm probably right.
- 33:24Speaker 2: No, I go into arguments all the time. I mean
- 33:26Speaker 2: it's a rare occasion. Like our producer the other day,
- 33:30Speaker 2: he was like, it's so crazy, Lalla, because like you
- 33:32Speaker 2: go into an argument one hundred and eighty percent right
- 33:36Speaker 2: and like you may be completely wrong.
- 33:40Speaker 1: But by the end of the conversation it's like, wait
- 33:43Speaker 1: a minute, maybe she's right.
- 33:47Speaker 3: You, and every went around you is like good points,
- 33:50Speaker 3: you're right, law.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But I think I think too much on the details.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I don't know what it is.
- 33:56Speaker 3: It's interesting.
- 33:57Speaker 2: But if you make a valid point, I have no
- 34:00Speaker 2: problem being like, you know what, that makes all the
- 34:02Speaker 2: sense and I completely understand what you mean.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Now, Yeah I fucked up.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Oh okay, I'm backing down.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah I can back down in two seconds. Yeah, I just,
- 34:11Speaker 1: in my mind make a lot of sense.
- 34:14Speaker 3: I mean, you do. You argue with the best of them.
- 34:17Speaker 2: The hardest part is is I can't argue with someone
- 34:20Speaker 2: who wants to hold me accountable for things that happened
- 34:25Speaker 2: a really long time ago that we've already talked about. Yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 2: and that's what happens with the show a lot of
- 34:33Speaker 2: the time. Yeah, is they want to bring I don't
- 34:36Speaker 2: want to say they, because not all of them do this,
- 34:39Speaker 2: but a specific person loves to go back to what
- 34:44Speaker 2: I did when I first entered the show or when
- 34:47Speaker 2: I was drinking, and it's like we've talked about it.
- 34:52Speaker 2: We already talked about this. Yeah, I live in today. Yes,
- 34:58Speaker 2: and it's also hard when you have people who want
- 35:02Speaker 2: to hold you accountable.
- 35:03Speaker 1: But it's like, who the fuck are you?
- 35:06Speaker 3: Right?
- 35:06Speaker 2: I got people to hold me accountable, all right, I live,
- 35:09Speaker 2: My mama lived with me, bro, my mama can put
- 35:12Speaker 2: me in check. I got a sponsor to put me
- 35:15Speaker 2: in check. Like, who the fuck do you think you
- 35:17Speaker 2: are that you're gonna be schooling me on life? Yeah,
- 35:21Speaker 2: once you become Bethany Frankel, then yeah, you can school
- 35:23Speaker 2: me on a lot of shit. Until then, shut the
- 35:26Speaker 2: fuck up.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why only a select few I believe can
- 35:30Speaker 3: do it and they stay on TV. And that's you guys,
- 35:34Speaker 3: because I'm like not sure how, but.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I just want to keep making positive changes in my life.
- 35:40Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, we have. It's like I am not
- 35:43Speaker 3: the same person I was last week, and I enjoy
- 35:45Speaker 3: that you are not the same person you were who
- 35:47Speaker 3: knows yesterday last year? Definitely not when you were drinking.
- 35:51Speaker 3: So it's just like wild to me when people bring
- 35:54Speaker 3: up things that you did when you were drinking or whatever,
- 35:58Speaker 3: even last year. It's like, that's not me anymore.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Well, because a lot has changed. I made a lot
- 36:03Speaker 2: of decisions during my drinking days or even take the
- 36:07Speaker 2: drinking out when I was young that like I look
- 36:10Speaker 2: back and go, I don't recognize that person. But without
- 36:14Speaker 2: that moment, I wouldn't be here right now. And you know,
- 36:20Speaker 2: I saw the first episode of vander Pump. Oh my god, yes,
- 36:24Speaker 2: they sent it to us.
- 36:25Speaker 3: How do you feel?
- 36:26Speaker 1: I think it's great. Okay.
- 36:28Speaker 2: I think my past and things that I have said
- 36:32Speaker 2: and done are going to clyde with the person I
- 36:35Speaker 2: am now. And there's going to be a lot of
- 36:37Speaker 2: people who call me a hypocrite and want to hang
- 36:40Speaker 2: on to that person that I.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Used to be.
- 36:43Speaker 2: And there's going to be people who say, like, Okay,
- 36:46Speaker 2: she's come really far. And I have to be okay
- 36:49Speaker 2: with those people who call me out right, And this
- 36:52Speaker 2: is where I have to practice the separating reality from reality.
- 36:56Speaker 3: What do you have to say? Like, let's say, though
- 36:59Speaker 3: right here, someone said you're someone just viewed watched the
- 37:02Speaker 3: first episode of season ten and they said, oh my god, Lala,
- 37:06Speaker 3: you're such a hypocrite. What do you have to say
- 37:08Speaker 3: to that those people?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Nothing?
- 37:09Speaker 2: Oh my breath is so precious and my time and energy.
- 37:13Speaker 2: I don't need to convince you of anything. Who the
- 37:16Speaker 2: fuck do you think you are that I that I
- 37:18Speaker 2: need to sit here and explain.
- 37:21Speaker 1: My case to you. I don't have to. I think
- 37:24Speaker 1: that's what's so nice about this.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Is we we know when we're filming the reunion already,
- 37:30Speaker 2: and I just there's gonna be certain things where I'm like,
- 37:34Speaker 2: I'm not arguing about this. Yeah, yes, sometimes I say
- 37:38Speaker 2: stupid shit, and I'm okay with that.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Moving on, Yeah, I'm okay with that.
- 37:43Speaker 1: We all do. The difference is mine's documented for all
- 37:46Speaker 1: of you to fucking.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Judge me exactly exactly.
- 37:51Speaker 2: There is a scene though, where I'm like, oh my god,
- 37:54Speaker 2: episode one. In episode one, okay, I'm like, I am
- 37:58Speaker 2: just like, I don't who is that person?
- 38:01Speaker 3: Really?
- 38:03Speaker 1: Yeah? Like a throwback scene, Oh okay, like a flashback okay,
- 38:07Speaker 1: and I'm looking at myself going crawl into a fucking hole.
- 38:11Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 38:13Speaker 2: But again, that moment is like, it's things like that
- 38:17Speaker 2: where I sat down the day that I got sober
- 38:20Speaker 2: and said, these are the reasons why I've got to
- 38:25Speaker 2: stop drinking. Not that I was drunk in the scene,
- 38:28Speaker 2: but I was still in my alcoholic mind where you
- 38:32Speaker 2: just don't think. And even now today, I have many
- 38:35Speaker 2: moments where I'm a dry drunk where I have to say,
- 38:39Speaker 2: you know what, it's time to pick up the fucking
- 38:41Speaker 2: big book and do better dry drunk.
- 38:43Speaker 3: That's interesting. I bet a lot of people deal with that,
- 38:46Speaker 3: and I don't know of a single person. I'm sure
- 38:48Speaker 3: there are some out there, but I don't know of
- 38:50Speaker 3: a single person that doesn't have a moment or for me,
- 38:54Speaker 3: millions of moments in my life where I could I
- 38:56Speaker 3: could be shown on a screen and I would just
- 38:59Speaker 3: be so humiliated's so disappointed, so disgusted. I just I
- 39:05Speaker 3: don't know of I'm sure there are the people out
- 39:07Speaker 3: there who are like oh, but I just don't know
- 39:09Speaker 3: of many.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'm not at the place where I can go back
- 39:11Speaker 1: and watch old school vander Pump. Yeah, I still cringe
- 39:14Speaker 1: and get embarrassed. And next year I'm gonna look back
- 39:18Speaker 1: on this on season ten and cringe and be embarrassed.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I don't know that that will ever change. I think
- 39:23Speaker 1: it'll change when the show is over and I'm like
- 39:27Speaker 1: an old woman with grandkids walking around where I'm like,
- 39:30Speaker 1: you know what, you guys are old enough, let's see
- 39:32Speaker 1: what Graham was like back in the day.
- 39:34Speaker 3: And then you can laugh and be like, oh, she
- 39:36Speaker 3: was wild.
- 39:36Speaker 1: She was wild. I'm not there yet.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I still look at myself and go, wow, we
- 39:42Speaker 2: got it. We got some work to do, but.
- 39:44Speaker 3: That's on fucking growth. And I hope and pray that
- 39:47Speaker 3: in a year from now, I'll look back at some
- 39:49Speaker 3: things I rode in my fucking journal and be like,
- 39:51Speaker 3: oh my god, what a silly girl. She had no idea,
- 39:53Speaker 3: or like things that I'm like, oh, thank god, I
- 39:55Speaker 3: don't think that way anymore because I'm growing, right, which
- 39:59Speaker 3: is like, congrats. I hope a lot of us are
- 40:02Speaker 3: like that, right, So I think that's great.
- 40:04Speaker 2: So I think we all just need to be easy
- 40:06Speaker 2: on ourselves. Yeah, you're gonna be a different person tomorrow
- 40:09Speaker 2: than you are today. You're gonna fuck up tomorrow and
- 40:12Speaker 2: learn from that. It's just like you just roll with it.
- 40:16Speaker 2: You know, none of us are ever going to be perfect.
- 40:18Speaker 2: We're gonna say things that we wish we didn't say,
- 40:21Speaker 2: and tomorrow we're.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Gonna say things we wish we didn't say. We'll fuck
- 40:24Speaker 1: it whatever. I don't give a fuck.
- 40:28Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That's life.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna take this moment. I'm gonna have it be
- 40:32Speaker 2: a teachable moment for me. I'm gonna hopefully do better,
- 40:35Speaker 2: and I'm okay with the mistakes that I'm gonna make tomorrow.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Bravo, Right, Bravo, Yes, give me a sound bite of that.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's just a lot of work to be
- 40:45Speaker 1: a living, breathing human.
- 40:47Speaker 3: It really is. And congrats for everyone who's you know,
- 40:52Speaker 3: trudging through.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Life and making it work.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Yeah, you woke up this morning, Good for you. Celebrate that.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I'm just like proud of all of us to be
- 41:01Speaker 1: all of us too. So there's that. There's my uplifting speech.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I love you guys so much. Thank you for tuning
- 41:08Speaker 1: in to another chaotic episode of the Give
- 41:11Speaker 2: Them Lalla Podcast, and I can't wait to talk to
- 41:15Speaker 2: you guys next week.
