- 0:00Speaker 1: More mark mark simone mr new york now three hours
- 0:05Speaker 1: every weekday from nine till noon on 710 wor well
- 0:14Speaker 1: hey it's hour number two that's right you missed the
- 0:16Speaker 1: first hour we start at nine o'clock every morning uh
- 0:21Speaker 1: the protests in france as we reported yesterday 58 groups
- 0:27Speaker 1: involved in that.
- 0:28Speaker 2: These French protests trying to burn down the country, destroy institutions,
- 0:32Speaker 2: wipe out the culture, take down the French democracy. Well,
- 0:36Speaker 2: it was a bunch of the normal yearly protesters, the students,
- 0:41Speaker 2: the unions. Well, 38 other groups jumped in. Violent, dangerous
- 0:47Speaker 2: groups from Antifa to Islamic extremists, all sorts of communist groups. Well,
- 0:56Speaker 2: that was 38 of them. We now know that it
- 0:58Speaker 2: was 101. Well, it's now 101 groups getting involved for
- 1:02Speaker 2: the future. There are now 101 very dangerous, radical groups.
- 1:08Speaker 2: They're calling themselves Chaos Inc. And they are now talking
- 1:12Speaker 2: about doing this in multiple countries. They want to stretch it.
- 1:15Speaker 2: They've got nine countries they want to target and come
- 1:19Speaker 2: in and take down cultural institutions and.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Burn down cities, destroy the democracy. They've got nine countries. Now,
- 1:27Speaker 2: the problem is it's France, so it's Macron. He's done
- 1:31Speaker 2: nothing about this. He's got some police in the streets.
- 1:34Speaker 2: He really needs to send the military in and just
- 1:37Speaker 2: stop this. Just take all the looters and burners and
- 1:41Speaker 2: arsonists and rioters and just take them away and lock
- 1:45Speaker 2: them up. He's got to show force. They're doing that
- 1:47Speaker 2: in Italy. They started to get some of these protests.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Italy put it down real fast, brought out the military.
- 1:53Speaker 2: You got to stop it in its tracks. They're going
- 1:55Speaker 2: to let it get out of control in France. President
- 1:58Speaker 2: Trump has been warning them, warning them to do something
- 2:03Speaker 2: about this. And first of all, it's too late to
- 2:05Speaker 2: go after the initial cause, which is they left the
- 2:08Speaker 2: border open for years. And I'm afraid at some point
- 2:13Speaker 2: the only way to fix it is call Tom Holman.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And get him to come over there and do what
- 2:19Speaker 2: he did here, deport millions of the worst criminal illegals
- 2:22Speaker 2: and get them out of the country. Well, the Senate race,
- 2:27Speaker 2: it looks like the Republicans have a good shot at
- 2:30Speaker 2: not only holding on to the Senate, maybe picking up
- 2:33Speaker 2: a seat or two. The one race people were worried about,
- 2:36Speaker 2: Susan Collins in Maine, always has these tough, tough races.
- 2:41Speaker 2: But in the end, she always wins every time. So Collins,
- 2:47Speaker 2: this time, she had that terrible, crazy communist candidate. They
- 2:51Speaker 2: had to get rid of him, and they put in
- 2:54Speaker 2: what they thought was a more reasonable candidate. His name
- 2:59Speaker 2: is Troy Johnson. But they had a debate. You know,
- 3:03Speaker 2: by the way, every one of these Senate debates, governor's debates,
- 3:06Speaker 2: it's two debates or three debates. The only one that's
- 3:09Speaker 2: refused to do this is Kathy Hochul. She did one debate,
- 3:13Speaker 2: and she picked A little tiny thing that nobody sees
- 3:16Speaker 2: called New York won. She won't do it on a
- 3:19Speaker 2: real TV station. She's turned them all down. She won't
- 3:22Speaker 2: do a second debate. This is absolutely unheard of. It's
- 3:27Speaker 2: a tribute to Bruce Blakeman that she's terrified to debate him.
- 3:31Speaker 2: He easily won the first debate, and there's no way
- 3:34Speaker 2: she's going to agree to a second debate. But getting
- 3:38Speaker 2: back to Collins in Maine, I think this is the
- 3:40Speaker 2: second debate. So there's a heckler. starts screaming at Collins
- 3:47Speaker 2: in the middle of the debate. And she says, and this,
- 3:50Speaker 2: by the way, is the standard comeback you use when
- 3:53Speaker 2: you get one of these crazy hecklers going after you
- 3:56Speaker 2: in a debate. You say, well, obviously that's one of
- 3:57Speaker 2: his supporters. Well, that's somebody he's sent in to do this.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That's standard. You always use that response in a debate.
- 4:05Speaker 2: So when she does it, Troy Jackson tells her to
- 4:09Speaker 2: shut up. And this has gone viral in Maine. Now,
- 4:14Speaker 2: to go viral in Maine, all you need is about
- 4:15Speaker 2: 100 people. But it's a big moment. This could be
- 4:20Speaker 2: the turning point in the race. People thought that was,
- 4:22Speaker 2: you don't say shut up to a woman. You don't
- 4:26Speaker 2: say shut up to a senator. And there's all kinds
- 4:29Speaker 2: of protests now against Troy Jackson saying he's abusive. The
- 4:35Speaker 2: main slogan of an abusive husband, they say, is shut up,
- 4:38Speaker 2: shut up. Well, take a listen. Here it is. So
- 4:46Speaker 2: this is obviously one of Troy's supporters. Oh, shut up.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You're not supposed to say that in a debate. And
- 4:55Speaker 2: you're not supposed to say that to a woman. Take
- 4:57Speaker 2: a listen to it again. So this is obviously one
- 5:01Speaker 2: of Troy's supporters. Oh, shut up. It's not a bad
- 5:09Speaker 2: thing to say. This is obviously one of his supporters.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Who would argue with that? Oh, shut up. So they're
- 5:15Speaker 2: using it in campaign ads. Could be a big, big,
- 5:18Speaker 2: big turning point there in the election. Super Bowl halftime.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Nobody's happy with these choices. Bad Bunny. It wasn't a
- 5:27Speaker 2: bad show. It was just probably not the best idea
- 5:30Speaker 2: for a Super Bowl halftime show. They got a committee
- 5:34Speaker 2: that picks these shows led by Jay-Z. You'd think Jay-Z
- 5:38Speaker 2: would pick some great acts for halftime, but nobody's liked
- 5:41Speaker 2: the last few. So they probably told him, you better
- 5:44Speaker 2: do something better this time. So the word is Jay-Z
- 5:48Speaker 2: has picked this year's halftime show. He's picked himself. It'll
- 5:52Speaker 2: be Jay-Z if all these reports are correct. Jay-Z will
- 5:56Speaker 2: do the halftime show. You know what? It's not a
- 5:59Speaker 2: bad idea. He is perfectly qualified to do this. Hey,
- 6:04Speaker 2: go back to like the 60s and watch the Super
- 6:06Speaker 2: Bowl halftime show. You wouldn't believe it. It was like
- 6:09Speaker 2: Andy Williams. It was like the most mainstream, harmless sort
- 6:15Speaker 2: of entertainers. And now it's just gotten crazier and crazier
- 6:20Speaker 2: and crazier every year. So, hey, Elon Omar, I'm hearing
- 6:26Speaker 2: they've got a real good, real good. The evidence against
- 6:30Speaker 2: Omar looks pretty bad. Pretty bad. Now, they were going
- 6:36Speaker 2: after her for immigration fraud, for lying about her age,
- 6:40Speaker 2: because when her father came over here and got his
- 6:43Speaker 2: green card or visa or whatever, if you have a child,
- 6:48Speaker 2: a minor, they're automatically in. So the word is she
- 6:53Speaker 2: doctored her birth certificate to make it look like she
- 6:56Speaker 2: was 17 and a minor, and she wasn't. She doctored
- 7:01Speaker 2: it to change her age. So that would be enough
- 7:04Speaker 2: to kick her out of the country. That would be
- 7:05Speaker 2: immigration fraud. And this whole thing about marrying her brother
- 7:10Speaker 2: to stay here, you may remember a few days ago
- 7:13Speaker 2: you saw the reports they had gone through her garbage.
- 7:17Speaker 2: The Department of Justice, FBI, law enforcement seized her garbage.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And apparently her sister's garbage and apparently other people's garbage. Now,
- 7:27Speaker 2: the reason they do that, when they get your garbage, usually,
- 7:30Speaker 2: you know, if you've got a private eye after you,
- 7:32Speaker 2: First thing they'll do is get your garbage because everything's
- 7:34Speaker 2: in there. Your, you know, your credit card bills, your
- 7:38Speaker 2: phone bills, everything's in that garbage. But apparently what they
- 7:42Speaker 2: were looking for in the garbage was DNA. You know,
- 7:45Speaker 2: you leave your DNA on all this stuff that you've touched.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So apparently they got her DNA. They got her brother's DNA.
- 7:52Speaker 2: So I'm hearing they're going to be able to prove
- 7:54Speaker 2: she did indeed marry her brother. So this could get
- 7:56Speaker 2: very interesting. They're being very quiet about it, which is a,
- 8:00Speaker 2: Also a sign that they're about to get her on something.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So keep an eye on that. Kimberly Guilfoyle. Now, apparently,
- 8:09Speaker 2: when all the heat started and looked like she was
- 8:12Speaker 2: going to be removed as ambassador and the scandal broke,
- 8:16Speaker 2: apparently she was making a lot of phone calls. She
- 8:19Speaker 2: called Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth begging for help, begging for
- 8:24Speaker 2: him to put in a good word for her and
- 8:26Speaker 2: help her. Pete Hegseth used to work at Fox News,
- 8:29Speaker 2: as she did. They probably knew each other from back then.
- 8:32Speaker 2: So it was probably like Tessio saying to Pete Hegseth,
- 8:37Speaker 2: can't you do something for old time's sake? Come on, Tom,
- 8:40Speaker 2: for old time's sake. Hegseth apparently did nothing. She called
- 8:45Speaker 2: you ambassador to Turkey, Tom Barak, who she knows. Another
- 8:49Speaker 2: big ambassador and a longtime friend of the president's. I
- 8:54Speaker 2: don't think that did anything. And apparently she called the
- 8:57Speaker 2: Rupert Murdoch himself because it was the wall street journal
- 9:00Speaker 2: that came out with all these things against Kimberly Guilfoyle, uh,
- 9:04Speaker 2: going after, you know, donors for money and all. It
- 9:06Speaker 2: was the wall street journal reporter that says, apparently she
- 9:09Speaker 2: placed a direct call to Rupert Murdoch himself about the
- 9:13Speaker 2: wall street journal articles. And she tried to get the
- 9:16Speaker 2: stories removed. She tried to get that coverage to stop.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Murdoch did not budge on that. Obviously you can't do that.
- 9:23Speaker 2: You can't, uh, pull stories out. And it's generally the
- 9:27Speaker 2: rule at a place like that. You know, if you're
- 9:30Speaker 2: the owner, you can't really tell them to kill stories.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Apparently she tried to call Trump himself and plead her case,
- 9:39Speaker 2: but a couple of people said Trump would not take
- 9:41Speaker 2: her call. She's out. She's got to get out, clear out.
- 9:47Speaker 2: It's a beautiful mansion in Athens where the ambassador lived.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Beautiful mansion, but she's got to clear all her stuff out.
- 9:54Speaker 2: which included, believe it or not, portraits of herself on
- 9:57Speaker 2: the walls. That's kind of Trump-like. to put your own
- 10:00Speaker 2: portraits of yourself on the walls. But Barry Weiss, boy,
- 10:05Speaker 2: they're mad at her. The left wing, she's the new
- 10:08Speaker 2: CBS News president. Apparently, she pushed CBS reporters to investigate
- 10:14Speaker 2: El-Sayed's background. Well, the left is fuming. How dare she? Apparently,
- 10:20Speaker 2: she even said it on those numerous daily editorial calls
- 10:26Speaker 2: where they discuss topics. How dare she do something like that? Well, actually,
- 10:32Speaker 2: it was a major topic in the news, his ties
- 10:35Speaker 2: to the Muslim Brotherhood. He said he had nothing, never
- 10:39Speaker 2: heard of the Muslim Brotherhood. Then it turns out they
- 10:42Speaker 2: find his sister's old tweets and she's a part of
- 10:45Speaker 2: the Muslim Brotherhood. That's his own family. Then he gave
- 10:48Speaker 2: you that whole story about he didn't really know his sister.
- 10:50Speaker 2: He hardly met her. And then the mother apparently had something.
- 10:54Speaker 2: He said he wasn't raised by his mother. But again,
- 10:58Speaker 2: this is a major story. This is what you're supposed
- 11:01Speaker 2: to investigate when something like that happens. And a guy
- 11:04Speaker 2: says he never met his sister. He didn't know his mother.
- 11:07Speaker 2: This is where you investigate. It's normal, normal stuff. In
- 11:11Speaker 2: the good old days of real journalism, you'd put a
- 11:14Speaker 2: bunch of reporters on that immediately. So that's all she's
- 11:17Speaker 2: doing is asking you to Go back to the normal
- 11:19Speaker 2: journalistic standards. Hey, John Stewart, big new contract. You know,
- 11:28Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel couldn't get a new contract. When his contract
- 11:32Speaker 2: was up, contract time, normally you get three years, five years.
- 11:36Speaker 2: They gave him no new contract. They refused to give
- 11:38Speaker 2: him a contract. They gave him an extension, a one-year extension.
- 11:42Speaker 2: That's something you only do. When you don't want somebody
- 11:46Speaker 2: or if the negotiations are stalled, you do a one-year
- 11:49Speaker 2: extension until you can get in it. But there were
- 11:50Speaker 2: no negotiations. They want him out. And it's different with
- 11:55Speaker 2: Jon Stewart. They offered him. Hang on. I got a sneeze. Oh,
- 12:00Speaker 2: it went away. Wait. There you go. You missed it.
- 12:03Speaker 2: A great sneeze. But Jon Stewart only wanted two years. Now,
- 12:08Speaker 2: you got to remember, Jon Stewart is sort of half retired. Remember,
- 12:12Speaker 2: he took a few years off from The Daily Show.
- 12:15Speaker 2: And then he returned a couple of years ago. So
- 12:18Speaker 2: he doesn't want to work. He doesn't know how much
- 12:20Speaker 2: longer he wants to work. So he only would do
- 12:21Speaker 2: two years. But they gave him a new two-year contract
- 12:24Speaker 2: to not only be the host once a week, but
- 12:26Speaker 2: to produce the rest of the week, executive producer. There's
- 12:29Speaker 2: actual producers doing it day to day, but he's the
- 12:31Speaker 2: executive producer. So new contract that goes through the 2028 election.
- 12:38Speaker 2: The Network Comedy Central said, Jon Stewart is a generational talent.
- 12:43Speaker 2: The Daily Show, continues to be one of the most
- 12:46Speaker 2: influential franchises on television. Well, I don't know if you
- 12:53Speaker 2: can claim that if you've got a tiny audience. The
- 12:56Speaker 2: audience is generally about 700,000 people. They're saying they reach
- 13:01Speaker 2: a million over the year, but it's about 600,000, 700,000
- 13:04Speaker 2: people that see Jon Stewart on The Daily Show. I
- 13:07Speaker 2: don't think you can call that the most influential show
- 13:10Speaker 2: on television. You know, The Five on Fox... does about
- 13:15Speaker 2: 4.5 million every day. Greg Gutfeld on Fox does like
- 13:20Speaker 2: 3 million every night. So if you've got 600,000 viewers,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I don't think you can call yourself the most influential
- 13:27Speaker 2: franchise on television. But that's press release talk. That's the
- 13:31Speaker 2: kind of thing you say. Hey, Ukraine deserves a lot
- 13:35Speaker 2: of credit here. As we've been saying, Zelensky's been brilliant
- 13:41Speaker 2: in one thing. The Ukrainians have been brilliant They were
- 13:43Speaker 2: depending on us for weapons. They figured out how to
- 13:46Speaker 2: make their own. They set up drone factories, missile factories.
- 13:50Speaker 2: They not only made drones, they made the most state-of-the-art
- 13:53Speaker 2: drones beyond anything anybody's ever seen. They're turning them out
- 13:56Speaker 2: by the thousands. Well, earlier this week, and they deserve
- 14:01Speaker 2: a lot of credit for this, they had one of
- 14:04Speaker 2: their soldiers wounded in the battlefield. He was trapped behind
- 14:07Speaker 2: enemy lines. They rescued him. By drone. It was a
- 14:13Speaker 2: drone evacuation. It was an amazing thing to watch. He
- 14:16Speaker 2: was surrounded on the ground by Russian kamikaze drones. The
- 14:22Speaker 2: terrain was mined all around. There was no way to
- 14:25Speaker 2: get to this guy with soldiers. Ukraine sent in an
- 14:30Speaker 2: unmanned drone, a very serious, unbelievably advanced drone that came
- 14:35Speaker 2: in with a big net. And it landed close to
- 14:39Speaker 2: the soldiers. It was surrounded by other Ukrainian drones to
- 14:44Speaker 2: fight off the Russian drones. And the soldier managed to
- 14:48Speaker 2: strap himself into the netting of the drone. The big
- 14:53Speaker 2: drone then lifted up the soldier and took him away.
- 14:57Speaker 2: It was absolutely an amazing thing to watch. There's a
- 14:59Speaker 2: video of it. The Ukrainian drones flanked this thing on
- 15:04Speaker 2: all sides, kept the other drones away. It was an
- 15:06Speaker 2: absolutely brilliant unmanned evacuation of this soldier so they are
- 15:11Speaker 2: making a lot of great developments there in ukraine that
- 15:14Speaker 2: every country will soon be able to use hey we'll
- 15:17Speaker 2: take some calls next 800-321-0710 is the number also we
- 15:23Speaker 2: like a lot of new callers if you're a new
- 15:24Speaker 2: caller 800-321-0710
