- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable advice. Come to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, Rob, she said, joining us every Thursday as
- 0:18Speaker 1: our friend Mark Lupo LUPI are you there, I've made it.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Why should we be surprised you made it every week?
- 0:26Speaker 1: I mean it's always a little touch of dough, but
- 0:28Speaker 1: you never let us down. How was your week? I
- 0:30Speaker 1: hear you had an amazing Saturday night? I sure did so.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Shout out to my friend Karae O'Keefe, who's the talent
- 0:37Speaker 1: book right Wendy Williams. She knows everybody in New York
- 0:40Speaker 1: City and she need the right people at NBC. We
- 0:43Speaker 1: went to SNL of this past Saturday night. Jason Baby
- 0:47Speaker 1: was the host. It was so much fun. Rob talk
- 0:50Speaker 1: us through it. It's actually quite a hard ticket to get.
- 0:53Speaker 1: The SNL studio is tiny. It's inside NBC up on
- 0:57Speaker 1: the eighth floor. It's not many people in the studio,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and that's when it's at full capacity during COVID. I
- 1:03Speaker 1: don't think they let a lot of people in. So
- 1:05Speaker 1: explain it or you get your ticket. You have to
- 1:07Speaker 1: wait in the lobby. What happens next exactly, So we
- 1:09Speaker 1: have to get a COVID test, actually a rabbit test
- 1:11Speaker 1: before you go in, so it's very safe. Everyone's wearing
- 1:14Speaker 1: protective gear. Your your group of people you come with,
- 1:17Speaker 1: it's about eight people. Um. You wait for about a
- 1:20Speaker 1: few hours in this luxurious lounge alcohol. They give you snacks.
- 1:25Speaker 1: You would love the snacks. Um, and it's you and
- 1:27Speaker 1: they have a DJ. It's really really really special. And
- 1:31Speaker 1: then once they get you ready for the show, they
- 1:33Speaker 1: bring you up. You're seated in the studio and it's
- 1:35Speaker 1: to be in that little studio, Rob it is so cool.
- 1:38Speaker 1: It's it's this, you know, there's so much going on.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Every person on staff whereas a mask or a shield.
- 1:44Speaker 1: They take it very seriously. And once the show began,
- 1:48Speaker 1: you just watch the magic unfold and it seems like
- 1:50Speaker 1: any other show. You know, it's it's chaotic, there's stage
- 1:53Speaker 1: hands running around pushing people. But it was really cool.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Rob is to see the cast Um. They all wear
- 1:59Speaker 1: their masks and beach queen takes and they but they
- 2:01Speaker 1: still you can see the love they have for each other.
- 2:04Speaker 1: They fis pop each other. They acknowledge into the stage
- 2:07Speaker 1: hands like everyone's a family there. Yeah. So after they've
- 2:10Speaker 1: been live and they cut commercial break all the masks
- 2:12Speaker 1: go right back on. As soon as they step off
- 2:15Speaker 1: the screen, they put the mass back on. Wow, what
- 2:18Speaker 1: time did I get you in there? So the show
- 2:20Speaker 1: starts I think at eleven thirty, so late night. So
- 2:22Speaker 1: it starts at eleven thirty. What time do you the
- 2:24Speaker 1: audience have to get there? Yeah, you could be there
- 2:26Speaker 1: at eight thirty pm and then you're for two hours.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You just hang out and gossip. You're gossiping, you're you're drinking.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It's so fun and I've actually been a couple of times.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I've never been an audience member. I went once with
- 2:41Speaker 1: j Lo so it's backstage with Jennifer and I was
- 2:43Speaker 1: there with Jessica Simpson and Ashley Simpson. I wasn't there
- 2:47Speaker 1: when Ashley Lipsey, I know, but it's really interesting. Backstage.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It's like a it's almost like they school the college
- 2:53Speaker 1: music hall and they fist bump afterwards and they get
- 2:56Speaker 1: so excited and it's like I did Fiddler on the
- 2:58Speaker 1: Roof in ed of Scotland and after, like an individual,
- 3:02Speaker 1: we're like, yeah, it was so great, and it's exactly
- 3:04Speaker 1: the same thing, except they are great and we were not.
- 3:07Speaker 1: But it's so much fun and the tickets are freeze.
- 3:10Speaker 1: If you come to New York after the virus, go
- 3:12Speaker 1: to the NBC website and you can register and get
- 3:15Speaker 1: a ticket. And it's a brilliant free night out in
- 3:18Speaker 1: New York. And there's not many of those, So think
- 3:20Speaker 1: about it next time you're in town. Hey, Mark, what
- 3:23Speaker 1: time is it? It is tea Thank you? Okay. Top
- 3:28Speaker 1: of the show, Big exclusive, John Mayer is terrified over
- 3:32Speaker 1: Jessica Simpson's new TV series. So Jessica sold the rights
- 3:37Speaker 1: to her brilliant memoir to Amazon Studios and they're turning
- 3:41Speaker 1: it into a fictionalize We should say that again, it's
- 3:44Speaker 1: fictionalized series about her life. If it was total fiction,
- 3:48Speaker 1: they wouldn't need Jessica Simpson. They just make it up.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So it's going to be about Jessica in her twenties
- 3:52Speaker 1: going to Hollywood, trying to make it as a singer.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Nobody really wanted her. They wanted Jessica to be a
- 3:58Speaker 1: second rate Britney Spear. So all these old white men
- 4:01Speaker 1: in the music business didn't like Jessica Simpson and they
- 4:04Speaker 1: tried to turn her into Brittany instead of being the
- 4:07Speaker 1: first to rate Jessica Simpson. So I think it's going
- 4:09Speaker 1: to be about the fight to really be herself, which
- 4:12Speaker 1: is a wonderful, wonderful story. However, if it is a success,
- 4:16Speaker 1: and come on, it will be season two, season three,
- 4:19Speaker 1: then we'll get into Nicholas, she and everybody else in Hollywood,
- 4:23Speaker 1: including John Mayer, who didn't treat her right. I can
- 4:27Speaker 1: talk a little bit about this because I was Jessica's
- 4:29Speaker 1: publicist during that time. He didn't treat her well. In fact,
- 4:34Speaker 1: some people would argue that he sort of looked down
- 4:36Speaker 1: upon her, he thought of her maybe as a dom blonde.
- 4:39Speaker 1: What I love about this is now that don Blonde,
- 4:44Speaker 1: sources say is getting the last laugh. Isn't this brilliant?
- 4:49Speaker 1: What do you think, Mark oh Man? It's so fun
- 4:51Speaker 1: that the tables really have turned in Jessica's favor, and
- 4:55Speaker 1: I would I'm so here for the show. I'm so
- 4:58Speaker 1: here for the gossip and the drama. Rob I will say,
- 5:01Speaker 1: Jessica has such a full life. I don't think she'll
- 5:03Speaker 1: really hit out so hard, but I think she'll mention
- 5:06Speaker 1: him at least the very least. She's not cruel. Jessica
- 5:09Speaker 1: Simpson's kind and smart, but she really is an awfully
- 5:13Speaker 1: good person, and she doesn't punch you just for the
- 5:15Speaker 1: sake of it. But she does tell the truth. I
- 5:17Speaker 1: think what's so interesting about Jesse the Jessica I know
- 5:20Speaker 1: she does. She does tell the truth. She can sugarcoat it.
- 5:24Speaker 1: She's not cruel, but John was not good to her.
- 5:27Speaker 1: In the memoir, there's several chapters all about John and
- 5:30Speaker 1: how terrible he treated her. And we all know we've
- 5:33Speaker 1: worked in this business a very long time. John has
- 5:36Speaker 1: a very high opinion of himself. He thinks of himself
- 5:39Speaker 1: as an Alicia Keys type musician. He thinks he's Mozart,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and Jessica Simpson wasn't. She was sort of the opposite
- 5:47Speaker 1: of that, which made them a really interesting match. It
- 5:50Speaker 1: didn't ultimately work out, but it turns out, guess who's
- 5:53Speaker 1: the smarty pants with a multimillion dollar deal? You're still
- 5:59Speaker 1: seeking that boy? Do youse a wonder land? That graitar yours?
- 6:03Speaker 1: No one cares anymore? And Jessica Simpson is back on top.
- 6:08Speaker 1: This makes me so happy. So John terrified about her
- 6:11Speaker 1: new TV deal, her new series. Should Jessica destroy him?
- 6:17Speaker 1: That's the question of the day. How far should she go?
- 6:19Speaker 1: Should she just destroy him? Revenge Karma. Yes or no
- 6:24Speaker 1: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nights. Rob
- 6:27Speaker 1: Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to
- 6:29Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. Smart Clove, what
- 6:33Speaker 1: are you working on? This is a really fun story.
- 6:36Speaker 1: So Google's year in Search list has finally been revealed, Rob,
- 6:41Speaker 1: I wait all year long for this list, and you know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: this has been a really stressful year for a lot
- 6:46Speaker 1: of us, and we've been leaning on Google to search
- 6:49Speaker 1: some of our answers to the most burning questions we've had.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So without further ado, let me give you the top
- 6:55Speaker 1: five search results for Yes, starting with number the coronavirus
- 7:01Speaker 1: of course, of course, then the election results, then followed
- 7:05Speaker 1: by Kobe Bryant, which I forgot he actually passed at
- 7:08Speaker 1: the top of this year, which feels like a long
- 7:10Speaker 1: time ago. Um, followed by zoom and then I p
- 7:14Speaker 1: L which stands for Indian Premier League Golf. That was
- 7:17Speaker 1: the only sport really had no idea. Yeah, I know
- 7:21Speaker 1: it's we don't watch sports, but that was the that
- 7:23Speaker 1: was the really the only sport when the coronavirus was
- 7:25Speaker 1: kind of unfolding, That's what we were watching on TV.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And then interest interesting to note rob After Tom Hanks
- 7:32Speaker 1: contracted COVID nineteen in March, he became the number one
- 7:36Speaker 1: most searched actor of Hyder King was the most searched
- 7:40Speaker 1: TV show, of course it was. And then if Robert,
- 7:45Speaker 1: you can guess, Wop was the most searched leader. Don't
- 7:48Speaker 1: search it. People do not search it. It's very, very naughty.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I searched it. I did not know what it meant,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and I wish I never had. I love all these details.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I love a list, I love statistics. It is interesting.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Normally Tom Hanks would probably not be in that top
- 8:03Speaker 1: five list, but of course I forgot. He was one
- 8:05Speaker 1: of the first celebrities to catch the Corona virus. And
- 8:09Speaker 1: I think Tiger King a lot of people search that,
- 8:12Speaker 1: not necessarily because it was the most watched show, but
- 8:14Speaker 1: it was the most talked about show, and I'd had
- 8:16Speaker 1: no idea what it was. It took me a little
- 8:18Speaker 1: while to jump on that bandwagon. Of course, the coronavirus
- 8:22Speaker 1: is number one. Google is so big as a search engine,
- 8:25Speaker 1: it's the biggest in the world. It's really the only
- 8:27Speaker 1: game in town, I guess, and so it does sort
- 8:30Speaker 1: of tell you a lot about us and what we're
- 8:32Speaker 1: looking out for. Where was our podcast mark on this list?
- 8:36Speaker 1: I was wondering the same thing next year, next year, darling.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So this is I think Swedes, but a little bit controversial.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Sophia Richie, that's Lionel riches twenty two year old daughter,
- 8:50Speaker 1: is defending Olivia. J Olivia is Laurie Laughlin's daughter, and
- 8:54Speaker 1: she just did the Red Table interview with Jada Pinkett
- 8:57Speaker 1: Smith and she said the following quote, Yes, girl, aren't
- 9:00Speaker 1: wait for what's her head. Some people are calling out Sophia,
- 9:04Speaker 1: saying that this is white privilege. Supporting white privilege. We
- 9:07Speaker 1: should know she is biracial, though we did point out
- 9:10Speaker 1: that she is Lionel riches daughter. That post has been removed,
- 9:13Speaker 1: but not before she responded saying the following quote, we
- 9:18Speaker 1: are all human who make human mistakes. Life is too
- 9:23Speaker 1: short to wish negativity on anybody sending your love. This
- 9:27Speaker 1: is so interesting market first, I really wasn't into Olivia Jade.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I do like a second chance, though, and I do
- 9:33Speaker 1: believe we are all human. We do make mistakes. How
- 9:37Speaker 1: long are we going to punish her for this? Where
- 9:39Speaker 1: are you? Yeah? So I just watched the Olivia Jade interview,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and I thought she really handled herself quite well considering
- 9:46Speaker 1: and you know, they were pretty tough on her and
- 9:48Speaker 1: Jada's mother. Yeah, they were really tough on her, and
- 9:52Speaker 1: she she held her own she admitted that she was wrong.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot of work to do, but
- 9:57Speaker 1: how long can you, you know, hold someone that you
- 10:00Speaker 1: It's like the cancel culture. It's out of control. And
- 10:02Speaker 1: she's this is a nineteen year old girl. It's like
- 10:04Speaker 1: she's her whole life ahead of her. So I think
- 10:07Speaker 1: we have to kind of like take a step back
- 10:08Speaker 1: and realize we all make really dumb mistakes, especially as
- 10:11Speaker 1: younger people. And you know, she has to have room
- 10:14Speaker 1: to grow holding the grudge, how long did you hold
- 10:16Speaker 1: a grudge? When does that become your story instead of hers.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm really good at moving on. I can forgive. I
- 10:21Speaker 1: can actually forget too. I'm not one of those people
- 10:23Speaker 1: that really remember stuff. I don't play it over in
- 10:26Speaker 1: my mind. We make mistakes, You've gotta put it right there.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That's my only thing. And I think that she's really
- 10:31Speaker 1: trying to do that. So let us know what you
- 10:35Speaker 1: think what's going on with those Kardashians. You know, I
- 10:39Speaker 1: love the Kardashians. Rob. Chloe Kardashian actually just revealed the
- 10:43Speaker 1: one thing she's not proud of from her reality TV career,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and it might surprise you. Okay, So Chloe has made
- 10:49Speaker 1: on the show. If you watch it, she makes sometimes
- 10:52Speaker 1: some really rude comments towards her mom, Chris Jenner, and
- 10:55Speaker 1: not Chris doesn't always deserve it well. When a fan
- 10:58Speaker 1: asked Chloe if she ever rewatches episodes, she said she does,
- 11:03Speaker 1: but sometimes she feels that she's not proud of the
- 11:06Speaker 1: way she used to talk to her mom. She said,
- 11:09Speaker 1: obviously we had some teenage issues we had to work
- 11:11Speaker 1: through on camera. It's tough to go through stuff publicly
- 11:15Speaker 1: around clothes. Fans were impressed that she had this self awareness,
- 11:20Speaker 1: which I think takes time. When you ever look back
- 11:22Speaker 1: at the stuff that you've done over the years, because
- 11:24Speaker 1: you've done a ton of TV and radio, do you
- 11:27Speaker 1: ever cringe? Is there anything you ever regret doing? It's
- 11:29Speaker 1: such a good question. My life wasn't on camera like
- 11:33Speaker 1: the Kardashians were, and I think if anything I would
- 11:36Speaker 1: regret it's how I treated my parents too. So when
- 11:39Speaker 1: I go on TV shows for two minutes or three minutes.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's just a version of me telling you the celebrity gossip.
- 11:45Speaker 1: It's not really me. It's not a it's not a
- 11:47Speaker 1: reality show like the Kardashians have done for over a decade.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I do think if cameras followed me around in my
- 11:53Speaker 1: personal life and there was ten years of footage of
- 11:57Speaker 1: me on a TV show, my show, there would be
- 12:00Speaker 1: stuff that I would regret. But I'm not that cruel.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I don't I don't snap at people. I try always
- 12:06Speaker 1: to take a compassionate road. I really do try. I'm
- 12:10Speaker 1: sure there's been many many instances. Don't get me wrong,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm no saint, but I do agree with her here.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I wish i'd treated my mom and dad a little
- 12:17Speaker 1: bit better in my teenage years, when you don't know
- 12:19Speaker 1: and your hormones are arranging and your mind is spinning.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I have not always been as kind to my mom
- 12:25Speaker 1: and dad as I wish I could be. What about
- 12:27Speaker 1: you and your mom, Doris Smart I mean Doris as
- 12:31Speaker 1: an angel, my mom as an angel. I do sometimes
- 12:33Speaker 1: I get moody, you know, and I'm I think that's
- 12:36Speaker 1: part of the you know, being a kid with your parents.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's like you can you kind of feel like you
- 12:40Speaker 1: can talk to them, however, because they're your parents and
- 12:42Speaker 1: not lovely regardless. But sometimes I can be a little rude. Really, Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I agree with it's so interesting that club is talking
- 12:49Speaker 1: about this. I think we all probably do it, doesn't
- 12:51Speaker 1: You don't need to be a Kardashian to do this. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: that's one of my regrets too. And but you know what,
- 12:56Speaker 1: as we were just saying, you can set it right
- 12:58Speaker 1: now when I talk to my mom and I make
- 13:00Speaker 1: sure I am not rude at all. This story made
- 13:03Speaker 1: me smile. Goldie Horn and Kurt Russell are doing some
- 13:06Speaker 1: press for their new Christmas movie Together. They've been together
- 13:09Speaker 1: now for thirty seven years, and they explained why they
- 13:12Speaker 1: never tied the knot why they never got married. She said,
- 13:16Speaker 1: they just want to be together. That's what's their success.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's what the secret is to their success. They just
- 13:23Speaker 1: want to be together. And I don't think there's any
- 13:26Speaker 1: way around that. I think gold is really right. You've
- 13:29Speaker 1: got to find somebody you want to be with. Kurt
- 13:31Speaker 1: Russell added, for us, a marriage certificate isn't going to
- 13:35Speaker 1: create anything that we otherwise wouldn't have and at this
- 13:39Speaker 1: point they both have had failed marriage. The marriage doesn't
- 13:42Speaker 1: always work, so they're pretty happy with the way things are.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Do you think if Brad and Angelina had not got married,
- 13:49Speaker 1: they'd still be together? And you know that marriage, that
- 13:52Speaker 1: that relationship was doomed. You know, you you lose them
- 13:55Speaker 1: the way you get them. And I don't think that
- 13:57Speaker 1: they're you know, Goldie and they're or her partner. They're
- 14:00Speaker 1: just such sweet, happy people, you know, Angelina and Brad.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It was some message to start And what about you?
- 14:06Speaker 1: A marriage mark? Is it something you would like to
- 14:08Speaker 1: be one day? I'm married to Bruce. What about you?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Would you like to be married or could you see
- 14:12Speaker 1: yourself being a cut and Goldie. I could see myself
- 14:17Speaker 1: doing either, like I wouldn't. I would like to get married,
- 14:19Speaker 1: but it also would be totally fine if I ended
- 14:21Speaker 1: up being like Goldie and Curt. I think it's kind
- 14:23Speaker 1: of sweet. Jonathan, your brother be your best man? Of course?
- 14:29Speaker 1: Is it reliable that after what he did with that
- 14:30Speaker 1: sandwich and the fridge. When you're on zoom, you're growing
- 14:34Speaker 1: every space for growth, face for growth. We're going to
- 14:38Speaker 1: take a quick break and leave you all a little space.
- 14:41Speaker 1: We will be right back. Welcome back to the not
- 14:47Speaker 1: of a nice Shirt. I'm Rob Shure there with my
- 14:48Speaker 1: friend Mark Lupo. Our friend Mark Lupo. Mark, let's get
- 14:52Speaker 1: to the polls. Thank you very much. Laurie Laughlin's daughter
- 14:57Speaker 1: is now working on a tell book. She likes it.
- 14:59Speaker 1: She's back in the spotlight. Did a really good job
- 15:00Speaker 1: in her first interview. Now she's going to do more.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Will you read it? Yes or no? Wow said no,
- 15:07Speaker 1: they're not going to read the book. I think I would.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I'm pretty nosy about this whole family. I'm nosy about
- 15:12Speaker 1: what went on. I think I would get it. What
- 15:14Speaker 1: about you, Mark, Oh, I would definitely. Again, this is
- 15:17Speaker 1: the biggest story of you know, come on, it's pretty big.
- 15:20Speaker 1: How do you feel about the fact she did do
- 15:22Speaker 1: well and she's not going to go away now? She's
- 15:24Speaker 1: a social media influencer, so part of that job is
- 15:28Speaker 1: being literally in the spotlight. So I think she stepped
- 15:31Speaker 1: into the pool. It went pretty well and I think
- 15:33Speaker 1: we're going to see more of her. What do you
- 15:35Speaker 1: think I want after this interview? I want more, I
- 15:38Speaker 1: really do. I think she can use her her new
- 15:41Speaker 1: place of society for good she's influential. I wanted to
- 15:44Speaker 1: do Dancing with the Stars. I think I think I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: more into her than her mom. I know. And I've
- 15:48Speaker 1: got to say, gosh, we're so shallow. She looked flawless.
- 15:52Speaker 1: She really gorgeous. She really looked that suit that's satin
- 15:56Speaker 1: and the hair and with the queens. Okay, don't forget
- 16:01Speaker 1: to vote on today's pole. You could go to our
- 16:04Speaker 1: Twitter page and naughty nice rabback facebook page is naughty
- 16:08Speaker 1: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Should Jessica Simpson destroyer John And now it sounds for
- 16:17Speaker 1: I know he seest the day? Oh what do you are?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Nicest of the day. There are no strangers to this list.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It's the Ripper Consul family every week. You do that?
- 16:29Speaker 1: What they do that? I know? Okay. So Mark and
- 16:31Speaker 1: Kelly just released the family Christmas card for twenty On
- 16:36Speaker 1: the front, it's their three kids, Michael, Lola and Joaquin.
- 16:40Speaker 1: They're dressed in neutral colors. It's a it's a nice,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know tone. Over the picture they're kind of smiling.
- 16:46Speaker 1: But on the back is where things get really funny.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So the two sons are looking away from the camera.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And Lola is giving the camera this like kind of
- 16:54Speaker 1: naughty look, and on the back it says, see you,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I love it. That's really fun. I love it. The
- 17:01Speaker 1: only thing listen is a shirtless daddy. Mark is interesting
- 17:08Speaker 1: that they're two really famous parents and then not on
- 17:10Speaker 1: the card. I thought that was a really quite clever,
- 17:12Speaker 1: Like if I got a Christmas card from Kelly, Kelly,
- 17:14Speaker 1: can I be on your Christmas card list? If I
- 17:16Speaker 1: was on your list, I would be a bit disappointed
- 17:19Speaker 1: that Mark and Kelly's photo would you? Would you not mine?
- 17:22Speaker 1: You know what? They're there. I love them for that
- 17:24Speaker 1: because they know that the stars at this point of
- 17:27Speaker 1: their kids like people want to see that. Mark. Next year,
- 17:30Speaker 1: let's send out a naughty but nice show photo. I
- 17:32Speaker 1: won't be in it. It'll just be all the children
- 17:34Speaker 1: you are, lame don Yes, maybe maybe I'll just be
- 17:38Speaker 1: in the middle. No, okay, let's do naughtiest of the day, naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Johnny Depp is in a ton of trouble simply nobody
- 17:47Speaker 1: wants to work with him anymore. The Hollywood Reporter did
- 17:50Speaker 1: a deep dive into his career What's Happened Now, and
- 17:52Speaker 1: they claim that he's pretty much out of Hollywood. Nobody
- 17:56Speaker 1: wants to be involved with him. His next movie, which
- 17:59Speaker 1: I think I'm in February, he got paid three million,
- 18:02Speaker 1: which is still a massive amount of money, but it's
- 18:04Speaker 1: nothing compared to the over six hundred million he raked
- 18:07Speaker 1: in for the Pirates of the Caribbean. His career, he's done,
- 18:12Speaker 1: it is what the Hollywood reporter are claiming. He also
- 18:16Speaker 1: now can legally be accused of being a wife beater.
- 18:21Speaker 1: A London newspaper called him that. He took them to court.
- 18:24Speaker 1: He lost, So now this is going to be a
- 18:27Speaker 1: pr nightmare for him on any other movie. Rob. I
- 18:31Speaker 1: think it's been over for a while. I saw him
- 18:33Speaker 1: out in an event last November. He just looked so unwell. Yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 1: he was stumbling at this hotel opening. He just seemed
- 18:41Speaker 1: like another planet was fraening and so I just he's
- 18:45Speaker 1: not a good place from It's amazing. I think friends
- 18:48Speaker 1: of mine were at that event. I wasn't, and they
- 18:50Speaker 1: said he was sweaty and his hair was messy, and
- 18:52Speaker 1: his eyes were all cloudy and he looked dirty and
- 18:58Speaker 1: notist to the day. Okay, let's have a moment of
- 19:00Speaker 1: Rabbi leave with something positive. You get a Robbie, get
- 19:03Speaker 1: a rob rob surround yourself with your hobbies and the
- 19:07Speaker 1: passions that you love. Taylor Swift loves making snow globes.
- 19:10Speaker 1: It's a hobby, so she's one of the most busy
- 19:12Speaker 1: people in the world. If she can find time to
- 19:15Speaker 1: make a snow globe, then we can find time for
- 19:18Speaker 1: our passions and hobbies, to discover people that care about
- 19:22Speaker 1: the same things as you do and hang out with them.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I love theater, but I can't act, or dance or sing,
- 19:29Speaker 1: so I got a job at the Edinburgh Playhouse when
- 19:31Speaker 1: I was at university selling ice screams. That's how I
- 19:33Speaker 1: met Bruce. I swear that's how I met Bruce. I
- 19:36Speaker 1: didn't necessarily want to be an international ice cream seller
- 19:40Speaker 1: for the rest of my life, but I found a
- 19:42Speaker 1: way to get into the world I loved. Does that
- 19:45Speaker 1: make sense, Mark, of course? I think you have to
- 19:48Speaker 1: find their connection, right. How did you because you had
- 19:50Speaker 1: a passion for TV, for journalism, for for magazines, How
- 19:54Speaker 1: did you get your first break? How did you get
- 19:57Speaker 1: into the world that you loved? You know, you have
- 19:59Speaker 1: to start talking to people and finding out how they
- 20:01Speaker 1: got in and then once you make you and you
- 20:03Speaker 1: can create your own path. So in turning, in turning
- 20:05Speaker 1: out wherever you want to do or or where do
- 20:08Speaker 1: you want to try? And then all kind of it
- 20:10Speaker 1: opens up the doors once you take that first step,
- 20:13Speaker 1: and everything else kind of coming. Because where was your
- 20:15Speaker 1: first internship? What job? It was? The Montell Williams show
- 20:19Speaker 1: years ago? My? Oh my, I was an intern at
- 20:22Speaker 1: a Broadway PR office for Beauty and the Beast. I
- 20:25Speaker 1: know because I loved theater, so it was a fantastic
- 20:28Speaker 1: first job. Hey, everybody, thank you for listening to They're
- 20:31Speaker 1: Not Even Nice with Rob Show, a production of I
- 20:33Speaker 1: Heart Radio, Mark, We love you. Send our love to
- 20:35Speaker 1: your brother Jonathan and Doris your mother. Hello, thank you.
