- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spinoff show Popping Off,
- 0:09Speaker 1: where we are digging deep on this season of vander
- 0:12Speaker 1: Pump Rules. Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Popping Off.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I was gone last week and I'm here with Emily Simpson.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Obviously, I was like, when are you going to say
- 0:24Speaker 2: my name? Are we just going to keep going ahead
- 0:26Speaker 2: with just Teddy Mellencamp. Yeah, they're just making this all
- 0:29Speaker 2: about me because I.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Was actually actually going to pay Gina a compliment. Yes,
- 0:36Speaker 1: because a lot of people messaged me that they loved
- 0:39Speaker 1: Gina recapping with you. They said she was really good
- 0:44Speaker 1: and the fact that she was able to pick it
- 0:46Speaker 1: up that quickly, and.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I was like, get it, get it, Gina. Well, you
- 0:52Speaker 2: know what, Gina and I are good together, even though
- 0:55Speaker 2: she is very good, and I appreciate the fact that
- 0:57Speaker 2: she had to watch two shows, but yeah, she's great
- 1:00Speaker 2: and we do a good job together. So there's a
- 1:03Speaker 2: lot of chemistry there. So what you're saying is we
- 1:05Speaker 2: don't have chemistry. No, we have a lot of chemistry too.
- 1:09Speaker 2: There's a lot of chemistry there. So what you're saying
- 1:12Speaker 2: is you have a crush on me. I have always
- 1:15Speaker 2: had a crush on you.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Okay, now that we've cleared that up all of our
- 1:19Speaker 1: inappropriate conversations. I I I am on so little sleep.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I know you are too. We're not really supposed to
- 1:30Speaker 1: probably talk about it. But I've seen everybody posting that
- 1:33Speaker 1: you guys were in London, so it's pretty clear that
- 1:37Speaker 1: that cat's out of the bag.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Well, I'm not going to be the one to confirm,
- 1:42Speaker 2: or Tony so Well, I have a question.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Were you back in time to see the eclipse? And
- 1:49Speaker 1: did you see it?
- 1:50Speaker 2: I saw the eclipse from an airport.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Well, I was here in Los Angeles and I didn't
- 1:58Speaker 1: see the eclipse. I saw lots of people stake to
- 2:02Speaker 1: out like to watch the eclipse. I realized I wasn't
- 2:06Speaker 1: aware of the timing of the eclipse, but I did
- 2:09Speaker 1: feel like maybe the eclipse affected me because I did.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Not I have not slept in two days. I just wait,
- 2:18Speaker 2: you think it's because of the eclipse. Well, I don't
- 2:21Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It could also be that I'm going through perimenopause or
- 2:25Speaker 1: that I have to have another.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Removal tomorrow. In the hospital.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I don't know it could be going on, but you're
- 2:35Speaker 1: saying you didn't. You were not affected at all by
- 2:38Speaker 1: the eclipse.
- 2:39Speaker 2: No. I was affected by many other things that I
- 2:42Speaker 2: cannot talk about, many other factors.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Well this episode we are going to
- 2:52Speaker 1: recap Vanderpump Rules season eleven, episode eleven.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Ooh so exciting. Eleven eleven were getting deep into it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: We're getting deep into it. We have a lot of
- 3:04Speaker 2: guests coming up too, like from vander Pump, which is
- 3:08Speaker 2: also exciting, Like we have all the all the main
- 3:13Speaker 2: the main hitters. Who would be a main hitter like
- 3:17Speaker 2: Ann or Joe. It's not Joe, It's not, Oh my gosh, Joe. Really.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I mean I think maybe because I watched two episodes
- 3:28Speaker 1: back to back because I missed last week when I
- 3:30Speaker 1: was on spring break.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like that much Joe was and listen more power
- 3:37Speaker 2: to Joe.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But then I went back and watched the Katie Maloney
- 3:42Speaker 1: watch What Happens Live where everybody said, like there was
- 3:47Speaker 1: a poll like do you think that Shorts and Joe
- 3:53Speaker 1: would be a good like are in a good thing?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Like should actually be together? And they want that pull
- 4:00Speaker 1: like people think they should. Well, you know, she's definitely devoted.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, if that's what you're looking for in
- 4:14Speaker 2: a relationship, is just one hundred percent pure blind devotion
- 4:19Speaker 2: that works.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Would you go to a singles event with somebody that
- 4:24Speaker 1: you've had sex with for over a year.
- 4:29Speaker 2: No. But I don't even understand why she thought that
- 4:32Speaker 2: was a good idea. Did she think he was not participating?
- 4:36Speaker 2: She thought that they were going to support Sandoval. But
- 4:40Speaker 2: I'm like, there's no way you thought that.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And also I've decided that I think the blonde hair
- 4:46Speaker 1: was full sabotage.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Oh, the blonde hair was awful. It was evil. It's
- 4:52Speaker 2: not a good look. I mean, I think Schwartz is cute.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I think he's endearing. I think he has a way
- 4:59Speaker 2: about him that's attractive. But that blonde hair just nigging
- 5:03Speaker 2: did everything I just said.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And then it made me concerned when the other gal
- 5:08Speaker 1: at the hair salon had to step in for her,
- 5:12Speaker 1: like she's like, I think we maybe need to put
- 5:14Speaker 1: some toner on that.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I was like, oh god.
- 5:16Speaker 1: But anyways, before we get into this actual episode, we
- 5:19Speaker 1: have some headlines to get through. Uh. This first one
- 5:22Speaker 1: is from Variety, which It's very different when we get
- 5:25Speaker 1: like a Variety headline versus like, you know, queens of
- 5:30Speaker 1: Bravo inst we're saying hello drama or Christian snow Like
- 5:39Speaker 1: it's I'm not discrediting any of the you know, those
- 5:43Speaker 1: type of posts.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But Variety is like Variety does their their background shack.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Variety's gonna give us the real, real but it
- 5:52Speaker 1: they're saying faith stours. A former vander Pump Rules cast
- 5:56Speaker 1: member accused NBC Universal on Friday of racist harassment and retaliation,
- 6:02Speaker 1: becoming the latest Bravo star to sue over her treatment
- 6:06Speaker 1: on a popular reality show and her lawsuit. She alleges
- 6:09Speaker 1: that castmate Lalla kn't brandish.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I don't know what that word is.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Thank you for stepping in because I was like brand
- 6:17Speaker 1: dish should I knew I was.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Going to have to step in on that one. It's
- 6:21Speaker 2: a brandish What does that mean? Like she like, you know,
- 6:27Speaker 2: brand I don't know to say accept.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You're all big talk, Like I know I was going
- 6:32Speaker 1: to have to step in for that that. I'm like,
- 6:34Speaker 1: what's the definition? You're like, you know, like this like
- 6:37Speaker 1: brandish it like you know, she waved the round in
- 6:40Speaker 1: front of her Okay brandished a knife at her during
- 6:44Speaker 1: an argument in season four, held it to her net
- 6:47Speaker 1: whoa held it to her neck and threatened to cut
- 6:49Speaker 1: a bit. Stours alleges that the show's executive producer discouraged
- 6:54Speaker 1: her from reporting the knife incident to police. She also
- 6:57Speaker 1: alleges that Lisa Vanner Pump warned that she would be
- 7:01Speaker 1: terminated if she did not find a way to get
- 7:03Speaker 1: along with Kent. In the latest lawsuit, Stours alleges that
- 7:07Speaker 1: she was subjected to racial slurs and was mocked for
- 7:10Speaker 1: her Well, I'm putting in quotes because this is what
- 7:13Speaker 1: it said in the article nappy hair. While appearing on
- 7:16Speaker 1: the show. Stet Ours is represented by Brian Friedman and
- 7:19Speaker 1: Mark there Goes, the attorneys who worked with former Real
- 7:23Speaker 1: Housewives Bethany Frankel to bring the reality reckoning. This does
- 7:28Speaker 1: not surprise me. She waited till now because it's the
- 7:32Speaker 1: same lawyer. So I think that anybody that has an
- 7:36Speaker 1: issue is going to align in this lawsuit with Bethany.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely. I think the timing is like we were
- 7:49Speaker 2: talking about the timing. It has to do with the
- 7:50Speaker 2: fact that this whole article on the Reality Reckoning came out,
- 7:53Speaker 2: it's now a topic people are talking about it, so
- 7:58Speaker 2: timing wise, it makes sense.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And do you think it's on purpose that each person
- 8:04Speaker 1: is really from a lawyer standpoint, not from like a viewer,
- 8:08Speaker 1: but like as I know that this isn't your form
- 8:10Speaker 1: of law, but that they're pacing out the different announcements
- 8:15Speaker 1: at different times, like of each person. And then how
- 8:18Speaker 1: many more people do you think are going to come forward?
- 8:21Speaker 1: And like what's the spacing timeline?
- 8:25Speaker 2: I don't know, I never really thought about that. I mean,
- 8:27Speaker 2: that's a good question, And I don't know if that
- 8:28Speaker 2: has to do a strategy where you don't want to like,
- 8:31Speaker 2: you know, throw all all of your all your eggs.
- 8:35Speaker 2: You don't want to crash them all at once, like
- 8:37Speaker 2: you want to save your age. You want to like
- 8:39Speaker 2: throw one out at the time. I guess, so maybe
- 8:41Speaker 2: that there is some strategy with this, So I don't
- 8:44Speaker 2: know who knows.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I feel like there's going to be more sorry not
- 8:50Speaker 1: my kids, school's calling. Why does that always happen? Like
- 8:53Speaker 1: I know, I know what's happening. Cruise is pretending to
- 8:56Speaker 1: have a headache and he needs to have water and
- 8:59Speaker 1: he doesn't want to go to violin class.
- 9:01Speaker 2: That's so funny because my phone was just blowing up.
- 9:03Speaker 2: As Annabelle she got out at two oh five. It
- 9:05Speaker 2: is now two seventeen, and she has called me eight times,
- 9:10Speaker 2: like I texted, call your dad. I'm busy. I seriously
- 9:16Speaker 2: want to tell Cruise like you don't. And here's the thing.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I told him, you can quit violin, but you have
- 9:24Speaker 1: to quit yourself. You have to go to the teacher
- 9:28Speaker 1: and tell them you don't want to do it anymore.
- 9:30Speaker 2: And he's not. He doesn't want to do that.
- 9:32Speaker 1: No, he wants me to do it. And I said,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I don't mind that you quit.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You don't like it, You're over it. You're the one
- 9:38Speaker 1: that wanted to sign yourself. You wanted to be signed
- 9:40Speaker 1: up for this extracurricular activity, and now you want out,
- 9:44Speaker 1: then you have to quit. That's the way it works,
- 9:46Speaker 1: that's life. But he doesn't. So every single time it's
- 9:50Speaker 1: violin class, yeah, it's the same call.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's the school nurse and I have to text her.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm like, if he doesn't want to go to violin,
- 9:57Speaker 1: he's welcome to have the conversation. Blah blah blah. I
- 10:03Speaker 1: guess I just got off on a tangent. But that's
- 10:05Speaker 1: kids for us, like they do. They think that we
- 10:08Speaker 1: were born yesterday and then we didn't have the same shit.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Of course they do. My kids do the dumbest stuff,
- 10:13Speaker 2: like when you tell them to clean their room and
- 10:15Speaker 2: then they just shove everything under the bed. I mean,
- 10:18Speaker 2: I'm not dumb. I'm gonna look under the bed. Yeah no, well, you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Know, sorry to go on a rampage, but have you
- 10:25Speaker 1: seen my You've been gone so maybe haven't. But you
- 10:28Speaker 1: realize that I'm raising eggs right now? Pet eggs? What
- 10:32Speaker 1: eggs of what? Well we think it's a duck, but
- 10:35Speaker 1: we're not sure. So you just found random eggs, slate.
- 10:39Speaker 1: We were at the barn. She found eggs, and then
- 10:42Speaker 1: she has brought them home because they have what they
- 10:45Speaker 1: have like goats and cows and ducks and chicken like
- 10:49Speaker 1: it's a whole thing at the barn.
- 10:51Speaker 2: So you you stole someone's children. She stole someone's children.
- 10:56Speaker 1: And then now she has put because our rule is
- 10:58Speaker 1: if she's going to be on a group chat with anybody,
- 11:01Speaker 1: she has to add me. So now I'm on I
- 11:04Speaker 1: don't know, five to six group chats with her discussing
- 11:07Speaker 1: the eggs their development. I have to turn on the
- 11:10Speaker 1: heat lamp every two hours and turn it back off.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Like it's NonStop texting throughout the day. How are the eggs?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Are the eggs? I hope it's snakes. Listen.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I think they're scrambled. I really think last night she
- 11:25Speaker 1: poached them. I woke up one of the eggs was
- 11:27Speaker 1: so hot this morning. I was like, shit, it's you
- 11:32Speaker 1: can't pick this shit up anyways. Back to business, Jack
- 11:36Speaker 1: Taylor clames vander Pump Rules is scripted Page six article Here,
- 11:43Speaker 1: former vander Pump rulestar Jax Taylor claimed that the hit
- 11:46Speaker 1: Bravo show is now scripted, despite being completely organic in
- 11:50Speaker 1: its early seasons. TikToker Kate Riscio caught the reality TV
- 11:56Speaker 1: star ranting at his bar about how the Pump Rules
- 11:59Speaker 1: cast doesn't even out with each other in real life.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Show me a scripted show and I'll show you and
- 12:04Speaker 1: vander Pump Rules. Jack said to a crowd at Jack's studio,
- 12:08Speaker 1: City and a video obtained by Page six scripted scripted.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I've been on this show for nine years. This is scripted,
- 12:17Speaker 1: he continued. I'll be on it next and I'll tell
- 12:20Speaker 1: you what it was scripted. He continued, claiming that it
- 12:24Speaker 1: didn't used to be that way. Don't get me wrong.
- 12:26Speaker 1: When we started it was awesome. He clarified. Seasons one
- 12:29Speaker 1: through six were organic.
- 12:30Speaker 2: It was real.
- 12:31Speaker 1: However, once everyone got rich and famous, they drifted apart
- 12:34Speaker 1: in their relationships became fake. According to Jack's nobody shows
- 12:39Speaker 1: up with Chanelle earrings at the beach, he joked, he.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Sounds like someone who might have gotten fired.
- 12:49Speaker 1: He does, but like, I hate to be the bearer
- 12:51Speaker 1: of bad news. But you agree with him, No, I
- 12:56Speaker 1: just agree that at this point, the Valley is better
- 13:01Speaker 1: than vander Pump rules. Well, I think the Valley is
- 13:05Speaker 1: better because it makes more sense. These are actual adults
- 13:08Speaker 1: with children who all live next to each other, and
- 13:10Speaker 1: they're coexisting and their friends and their husbands are involved,
- 13:15Speaker 1: as opposed to trying to make a show work that
- 13:18Speaker 1: revolved around people that were in their twenties working at
- 13:21Speaker 1: a bar and still having them hang out together at
- 13:24Speaker 1: forty when they all forty own bars and homes and
- 13:30Speaker 1: right like it haven't really other. I mean now they're
- 13:34Speaker 1: trying to bring in the kit. I'm not hating Vanner
- 13:37Speaker 1: Pump Rules. I'm just saying, like, yes, now, after watching
- 13:42Speaker 1: Vanner Pump Villa and The Valley, I see, I see
- 13:47Speaker 1: what Jacks is saying. But I also think, like Jack's
- 13:50Speaker 1: be a little bit. I do know that it's the
- 13:53Speaker 1: same production company for The Valley and Vanner Pump Rules.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Like you mean you want Jacks to have a little class,
- 14:02Speaker 2: maybe some manners, just a titch, just a touch, or
- 14:08Speaker 2: maybe he should have people like leave their cell phones
- 14:12Speaker 2: at the door when they come to his bar. Yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 2: but also maybe you should have formally invited us so
- 14:18Speaker 2: we could have taken like video footage of this happening
- 14:21Speaker 2: and it's not just a rumored thing that he has. Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 2: we could get much better video. We'd be like, excuse me,
- 14:29Speaker 2: I'm sorry, what did you say? And who do you
- 14:33Speaker 2: think is the most scripted? And do you think you
- 14:37Speaker 2: were the star of the show?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Because that also leads to more questions that I have
- 14:43Speaker 1: once we get started.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Okay, exit. Vanner Pump Villa's Eric thunder White claims he
- 14:58Speaker 2: abused her in a sun or before he was hired
- 15:01Speaker 2: as the chateau manager at the Vander Pump Rolls Stars
- 15:04Speaker 2: French countryside of State. Eric was in a five year
- 15:06Speaker 2: relationship with his ax, who made allegations of abuse and assault.
- 15:11Speaker 2: On November thirteenth, twenty twenty, Eric's ex filed a request
- 15:14Speaker 2: for a temporary restraining order against him after claiming she
- 15:18Speaker 2: suffered years of abuse, which she detailed in court documents
- 15:22Speaker 2: exclusively obtained by the Sun. The alleged abuse is believed
- 15:27Speaker 2: to have begun as far back as twenty eighteen, when
- 15:30Speaker 2: the woman, whose identity the US Sun has chosen to protect,
- 15:34Speaker 2: claims Eric quote grabbed her by the neck outside of
- 15:38Speaker 2: their car because she didn't want to drive. In December
- 15:41Speaker 2: twenty nineteen, he accused her of quote attacking him quote
- 15:44Speaker 2: with a pillow end quote before I'm sorry, would you
- 15:49Speaker 2: like to comment on that? Listen, I'm going to attack
- 15:53Speaker 2: you with the pillow?
- 15:54Speaker 1: And yeah, what what like you like a pillow or.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Like like oh, like a smothering situation.
- 16:05Speaker 1: If it was reversed, yeah, I would have a different
- 16:09Speaker 1: reaction to this. But him accusing her of attacking him
- 16:13Speaker 1: with the poet like he seems like a pretty tall,
- 16:16Speaker 1: stout gentleman. Yes, a gentleman, I mean not a gentleman,
- 16:20Speaker 1: but a dude, A man a man pretending to be it,
- 16:26Speaker 1: says he accused her of attacking him with a pillow
- 16:30Speaker 1: before he started to strangle her.
- 16:33Speaker 2: That's also another question.
- 16:35Speaker 1: If somebody throws a pillow at you, I don't think
- 16:37Speaker 1: that gives you the right to then strangle them.
- 16:40Speaker 2: No, it's not like the violence has to be a portionate.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it has to be like it's one thing like
- 16:48Speaker 1: when we saw from selling what is it selling Beverly
- 16:53Speaker 1: not selling Beverly Hills.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I don't want those which whatever.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'm sure you saw that the husband is through the
- 16:59Speaker 1: glass selling sunset through the glass at the wife and
- 17:03Speaker 1: it hit the sun like, that's different. But to hit
- 17:07Speaker 1: with the pillow, when a girl hits with the pillow,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and then your response is to strangle No, no, sir,
- 17:13Speaker 1: no Eric.
- 17:14Speaker 2: The next day, she checks herself into the hospital because
- 17:16Speaker 2: her neck was hurting. When she explained to the hospital
- 17:20Speaker 2: staff what had happened, they wanted to involve the police,
- 17:22Speaker 2: but she said she was scared because Eric previously threatened
- 17:25Speaker 2: to kill me. Photos included in the court documents from
- 17:28Speaker 2: March third, twenty twenty show Eric's x with a swollen
- 17:31Speaker 2: black eye, red marks on the side of her face
- 17:33Speaker 2: and Bruce's on her backside. Okay, here's my question. I
- 17:37Speaker 2: don't understand. I believe they do background checks before they
- 17:41Speaker 2: bring people on reality TV. That's what I thought too.
- 17:45Speaker 2: But maybe because I mean, she didn't go forward with it,
- 17:51Speaker 2: I don't know. But there's all these there's all these
- 17:54Speaker 2: court documents that the US SUN found detailed court documents
- 18:02Speaker 2: exclusively obtained by the US SON Like, I don't know,
- 18:06Speaker 2: someone did not do a good job vetting or I mean,
- 18:11Speaker 2: I feel like at this point, Lisa vander Pump has
- 18:15Speaker 2: done an excellent job at.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Finding the world's biggest assholes to be on television.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but what a huge liability. You're really going to
- 18:24Speaker 2: hire someone with a violent cast and put them in
- 18:27Speaker 2: a chateau with women. If you're on notice of that,
- 18:31Speaker 2: that's that's a that's a legal issue, that's a problem.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I really, I not many people on that cast
- 18:39Speaker 1: are very likable. And Eric thunder White is at the
- 18:44Speaker 1: bottom of the list.
- 18:45Speaker 2: That sounds like a cartoon name. Well also, like it's
- 18:49Speaker 2: so I'm surprised he didn't change it, Like, clearly he's
- 18:52Speaker 2: an aspiring actor, Like, why wouldn't you change your name?
- 18:55Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you at least change it to thunder white? Yeah, well,
- 18:58Speaker 1: or just thunder thunder Yeah, thunder white. It sounds like
- 19:03Speaker 1: you have a list thunder. It's arn rainy and thundering outside.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Their funder is really making for me to sleep. There's
- 19:14Speaker 2: a lot of thunder today. Instagram user at stuff with
- 19:19Speaker 2: the deeps. I didn't know if that was Dad Eats
- 19:22Speaker 2: or just da Deep. I wish it was Daddy Eats.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I'm so hungry right now doing the pot it too.
- 19:28Speaker 2: It's not the best time reviews Rachel Loves's podcast episode
- 19:32Speaker 2: regarding Katie Maloney and Dana Kathan. Rachel appeared at the
- 19:36Speaker 2: iHeartRadio Music Awards. Did you get invited? No? I don't understand. Hello,
- 19:42Speaker 2: where was our invite? It was weird, like I missed it.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I was like checking. I wanted to be the best
- 19:48Speaker 1: of the worst dressed. I was open to either, but
- 19:51Speaker 1: you would most likely get worst dressed. Just giving me
- 19:54Speaker 1: your past history, just in life in general.
- 19:58Speaker 2: What do you mean I'm gonna win a poll one day? Yeah? Yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 2: worst dressed? I just spin up my poppy. Yeah, sorry
- 20:07Speaker 2: about your poppy. She made the best dress list, while
- 20:09Speaker 2: Katie and Dana were named among the worst dress at
- 20:12Speaker 2: the award show. Rachel encouraged Joe to post the best
- 20:17Speaker 2: dress and worst dress pictures to her Instagram story, which
- 20:20Speaker 2: Rachel then reposted. She admits these actions were petty. Rachel
- 20:26Speaker 2: claimed she reached out to Katie and Dana to apologize
- 20:28Speaker 2: to them personally. On her podcast, she talks about wanting
- 20:31Speaker 2: to empower women, not tear them down. Steph says this
- 20:35Speaker 2: is ironic considering her ongoing lawsuit against Arianomatics. She also
- 20:40Speaker 2: continues to place blame on others for Scanda all.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Why can't Rachel either just completely keep her mouth shut
- 20:50Speaker 1: or just to admit that she is petty, or.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Just not apologize for being petty, Just be petty and
- 20:56Speaker 2: own it. I hate when people act a certain way
- 20:58Speaker 2: and then they apologize later.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah I got to just double down. Yeah I got
- 21:04Speaker 1: my bad behavior. If it's something petty that's not actually
- 21:07Speaker 1: hurting someone, why not just let your pettiness be out
- 21:10Speaker 1: there publicly and just go with it like that. At
- 21:13Speaker 1: that point, I wonder, are you just trying to get
- 21:14Speaker 1: pressed to say, like, oh, I made a mistake on
- 21:17Speaker 1: what I was saying, and I want to go back
- 21:21Speaker 1: I mean it didn't. I mean I still remember it.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And it happened like seven years ago when US Weekly
- 21:28Speaker 1: posted a picture of me and Brooke Burke in the
- 21:32Speaker 1: same outfit, and then Brooke Burke put it on her
- 21:35Speaker 1: Instagram that she won.
- 21:36Speaker 2: The better dressed. Yeah, who wore it better? Yeah?
- 21:40Speaker 1: And then she got like raged through the coals, like
- 21:43Speaker 1: that is so rude, Like, clearly you're going to look better.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Than chatty Brooke and had a potato back on, and
- 21:54Speaker 2: she would have won.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I could be and it doesn't matter what I'm worrying
- 21:59Speaker 1: Broke wins, but I I don't know.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I also, I didn't think Rachel's outfit was that special.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It was a black dress. Yeah, I don't what did wait,
- 22:11Speaker 2: what did Joe have on? Was Joe Joe? No, I
- 22:15Speaker 2: don't think Joe was there.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Joe and Joe and Rachel clearly just still talk because
- 22:20Speaker 1: they had, you know, those ongoing.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Okay, so Rachel Rachel got Joe to post it. Yeah, Okay,
- 22:28Speaker 2: so Joe, it's not actually a photo of Joe. It's
- 22:31Speaker 2: just Joe posting that Rachel was best dressed and Katy
- 22:35Speaker 2: was worst dressed. Correct, So Joe's being shady on on.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Rachel's behalf, which I think is true to course, on
- 22:46Speaker 1: what their entire relationship has been, which I also want
- 22:48Speaker 1: to be Like, Rachel, why are you still talking to
- 22:50Speaker 1: Joe if you want completely away from this group of people.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Joe has recently done a post that she is still
- 22:57Speaker 1: in love with Shorts, So why are you still friends
- 23:01Speaker 1: with her?
- 23:02Speaker 2: Exactly because she can manipulate her. Yeah, well, Joe's easily manipulated,
- 23:10Speaker 2: the fact that Rachel can manipulate Joe's well.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Speaking of interesting characters, Kristin reveals on her podcast she
- 23:20Speaker 1: almost ruined Tom Sandoval and Ariana's first trip together. Before
- 23:26Speaker 1: I even get into this headline or this clip from
- 23:30Speaker 1: Kristen's new podcast. Have you ever had a ex boyfriend
- 23:34Speaker 1: or Shane's or anyone's like login information and have you
- 23:38Speaker 1: ever checked?
- 23:39Speaker 2: No? Never, I don't even know Shane's password right now
- 23:42Speaker 2: currently after fifteen years of marriage and three children, even
- 23:46Speaker 2: his cell phone like the numbers I could not get into.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I've never been able to get into his cell phone,
- 23:51Speaker 2: but he knows mine. Hold you don't know. I have
- 23:54Speaker 2: never known. I've never known the password to his phone.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I mean, if I really wanted to make it a thing.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I would be like, you have to tell me now,
- 24:00Speaker 2: I need to know, but I don't really care. I mean,
- 24:02Speaker 2: we're talking about Shane Simpson, like he won the lottery
- 24:05Speaker 2: with me. He's not out there doing anything wrong. So
- 24:08Speaker 2: I just like to.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Always have my finger on the pulse, like I want
- 24:11Speaker 1: to know every code. I don't know, but either way,
- 24:15Speaker 1: Kristen went on like she was still living with Sandoval
- 24:21Speaker 1: when the relationship was you know, bull fledged with Ariana.
- 24:26Speaker 1: She went on, and she kept saying in this clip
- 24:29Speaker 1: that she she deleted the map the iPad because the
- 24:32Speaker 1: iPad was solely for porn, so she only kept the
- 24:36Speaker 1: mac Book Pro or whatever I made.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I didn't see that, so that I'm sorry, this is
- 24:44Speaker 2: the iPad was only for porn. Yeah, She's like, the
- 24:47Speaker 2: very sticky iPad is very sick.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, So the she deleted that knowledge because that was
- 24:55Speaker 1: of No, she didn't care about the porn, but she
- 24:57Speaker 1: did want access I guess to his emails. She logged
- 25:00Speaker 1: onto his email account, she knows password. She found out
- 25:05Speaker 1: that he had booked this trip and with Arianna, like
- 25:10Speaker 1: I guess, right after New Year's So she called her
- 25:13Speaker 1: mom and.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Said like mom, what do I do?
- 25:17Speaker 1: I'm so upset He's already booked this trip with Ariana,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and her mom was like, well, one, Kristen, like, you're
- 25:22Speaker 1: already broken up, You're supposed to be moving out January first,
- 25:26Speaker 1: but if you really want to get him, you should
- 25:28Speaker 1: call it and cancel the hot balloon reservation.
- 25:30Speaker 2: And then with pride she goes. But I didn't. I
- 25:36Speaker 2: feel like she should have though, and I like that.
- 25:38Speaker 2: I liked that it was her mom's idea too.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I also want to know who wants to go on
- 25:43Speaker 1: a hot balloon date because I don't.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Not me, didn't some people just die recently and the
- 25:48Speaker 2: hot balloon disaster. Also the people that do like trampoline
- 25:53Speaker 2: jumping on a hot balloon and I'm like, where's your parachute?
- 25:56Speaker 2: Like what are you doing? Like what are you doing?
- 25:59Speaker 2: And also I don't want to go on that date.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I don't not interested, not with Sandoval, not with anyone.
- 26:06Speaker 1: But yeah, Kristin said she had growth, but we're seeing
- 26:08Speaker 1: that growth and we'll recap it when we get to
- 26:11Speaker 1: our next podcast and talk about the valley.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Are we onto the gender reveal? Onto the gender reveal?
- 26:19Speaker 2: I have to say I was actually proud of Lalla
- 26:21Speaker 2: that this gender reveal wasn't like cannons in the backyard,
- 26:25Speaker 2: like shooting colors through the air. It was like it
- 26:29Speaker 2: was literally a cake. Like I have to give her
- 26:32Speaker 2: credit for just doing like a normal gender reveal. It
- 26:35Speaker 2: was on Amazon Live. That's fine, it's fine. I don't
- 26:40Speaker 2: care if it's on Amazon Live. I'm just so glad
- 26:43Speaker 2: that it wasn't like a helicopter shooting pink like firecrackers
- 26:49Speaker 2: out of the side of it in the part that
- 26:52Speaker 2: it beens.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You would be if she would have, like had somebody
- 26:55Speaker 1: poke a balloon and it goes, yes, that's not she No,
- 26:59Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Girl, make your money, but I love that you made
- 27:02Speaker 2: money just by baking a cake. She wasn't going to
- 27:03Speaker 2: spend any of her own damn money, like she's getting
- 27:06Speaker 2: all the proceeds.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I mean, granted, we all do things for money. I
- 27:11Speaker 1: remember having to wait to post Dove's birth because people
- 27:15Speaker 1: had the first.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Option for the photo and I had to be like, oh,
- 27:19Speaker 2: hold on, I wait to poach good. I already made it,
- 27:22Speaker 2: but I didn't make any money for that. It was
- 27:24Speaker 2: just like it. I don't think so shit. I don't know.
- 27:27Speaker 1: But either way, how do you feel about gender reveals
- 27:31Speaker 1: in general? And did you think she was going to
- 27:33Speaker 1: have a.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Girl or boy? You know, I didn't really think about it,
- 27:36Speaker 2: but I mean, I'm glad she's having a girl. Now
- 27:38Speaker 2: she has super girls. I think that's super cute and
- 27:40Speaker 2: super sweet. I don't know, I don't really understand the
- 27:44Speaker 2: whole gender reveal thing. I've never done one because I
- 27:47Speaker 2: didn't vitro for all my children.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I did one for Dov, and the disappointment and Edwin
- 27:54Speaker 1: and Cruz's face when they realized that Dove was going
- 27:57Speaker 1: to be a girl was palpable.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Did you do it? Were you obnoxious? Were you one
- 28:02Speaker 2: of those obnoxious people with like pink sparklers? Of course
- 28:05Speaker 2: I was. I filmed it, okay, but besides filming it, I.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Know, but that's already obnoxious. I filmed it and it
- 28:13Speaker 1: wasn't even aired.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah, they were like, that's that's it's boring cut. But no,
- 28:19Speaker 2: I think we had two balloons and then we.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Let like the kit all the kids pop them and
- 28:24Speaker 1: then the color went out, and Cruise.
- 28:28Speaker 2: And Edwin were like crying, but.
- 28:35Speaker 1: It is a girl. Congratulations, Lawa. But now I think
- 28:38Speaker 1: we need to start guessing the name. She has one
- 28:40Speaker 1: daughter named Ocean, and the new daughter is going to
- 28:44Speaker 1: be with an s. We know, do you think that
- 28:47Speaker 1: other daughter's name is going to be salty, seaweed, steal.
- 28:56Speaker 2: It has to be something with the ocean. It has
- 28:59Speaker 2: to be. That's why I said seaweed, you know, seaweed, salt, peel, steel.
- 29:04Speaker 2: What does steel have to do with the steel seal? Like?
- 29:10Speaker 1: You said steel like steel? Okay, seal, that's true seals.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I mean there's already one seal. I don't know that
- 29:19Speaker 1: you want to.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Let Oh, it could be swim.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Swim like an action word. Yeah, do you think it's
- 29:26Speaker 1: going to be an adjective or a noun?
- 29:29Speaker 2: A nown? How about shell? It could be submerged, seashell, seashell.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And then you call her Shelley, Shelley seashell shit. I
- 29:42Speaker 2: should have asked La la.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Anyways, then we get onto Zach Wickham, who was on
- 29:49Speaker 1: the Vile Files. Zach is also from the Valley. He's
- 29:53Speaker 1: the guy that looks like he has on a to
- 29:55Speaker 1: pe at all times, two head like I have like
- 30:00Speaker 1: a seven head, and he has like maybe like a
- 30:05Speaker 1: one little baby pinky head.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he tells he doesn't really give us.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I was hoping we were going to get some good information,
- 30:13Speaker 1: but he just told us it was like a watch
- 30:16Speaker 1: What Happens Live episode, Where's like, you gotta keep watching.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Zach No, Yeah, fell the tea. If you're gonna go
- 30:22Speaker 2: in the pod, give us one little juicy snack. You
- 30:24Speaker 2: didn't This part I thought was interesting.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Remember when Scandaval first happened and Tom's first interview was
- 30:34Speaker 1: with Howie Mandel, Yes, and he's talking about how he's
- 30:40Speaker 1: you know, and then throughout the beginning of the season,
- 30:42Speaker 1: how he's saving himself for Rachel. He's getting you know,
- 30:46Speaker 1: he's not drinking because Rachel can't drink while she's in
- 30:49Speaker 1: therapy and treatment. But on this recent episode, if Hawie
- 30:54Speaker 1: Mandell does stuff, Howie has his son's friend, Olivia sloan On,
- 31:00Speaker 1: who claims she met Santoval out and hung out with
- 31:04Speaker 1: him a few times for a month after Scanival happened
- 31:12Speaker 1: while this was happening. So I'm like, this all makes
- 31:14Speaker 1: sense now, this is why he chose Howie Mandel, who
- 31:18Speaker 1: knew nothing about the situation because he was banging Howie
- 31:21Speaker 1: Mandel's daughter well, it's not the daughter, it's it's how
- 31:27Speaker 1: Howie's son's friend.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 31:30Speaker 1: And then she kind of looked like one of the
- 31:32Speaker 1: girls that was in the pool at the beach at
- 31:35Speaker 1: the party, and I was like, oh, I had to google,
- 31:38Speaker 1: but it's not her.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Oh so she had no personality and nothing to say.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Does she just look offended in every shot?
- 31:48Speaker 1: But Howie says while Rachel was in lockdown, Olivia and
- 31:52Speaker 1: Sandoval were locking it up.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Santoval, this is just a PSA to you.
- 31:57Speaker 1: You chose the wrong person to do your first interview with, clearly,
- 32:01Speaker 1: because now not only was that interview terrible, but now
- 32:07Speaker 1: it's coming back to haunt you forever because Olivia was
- 32:11Speaker 1: not holding back on the information.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he didn't have her sign in NDA. No, I
- 32:18Speaker 2: don't think and it wasn't On top of that, he
- 32:21Speaker 2: just needs to have one.
- 32:21Speaker 1: In his pocket at all times. Did you see that
- 32:25Speaker 1: on watching What Happens Live? And he was like, we
- 32:28Speaker 1: love and justice for Ann. You can coun Bartend whenever
- 32:31Speaker 1: you want. Coming to Bartend is like the ultimate, Like
- 32:35Speaker 1: Shade though, I think, well it's.
- 32:37Speaker 2: The it's like the ultimate. It's like a climax with
- 32:40Speaker 2: the biggest letdown ever. It's like, I'm gonna be on
- 32:44Speaker 2: watch what Happens live, and then it's like, oh, but
- 32:46Speaker 2: you don't get to talk or the camera will show
- 32:48Speaker 2: you at all. It's like you're not even really there
- 32:50Speaker 2: and you're not actually even serving drinks. So you're just
- 32:53Speaker 2: standing at a bar hoping that maybe someone turns around
- 32:57Speaker 2: and acknowledges that you exist.
- 33:00Speaker 1: They're going to have a twenty second timeframe to plug
- 33:03Speaker 1: whatever it is, your pizza, your workout regime, whatever it
- 33:07Speaker 1: may be, and then they're going to keep it moving
- 33:09Speaker 1: and pan to you a couple of times awkwardly laughing.
- 33:12Speaker 2: So that's what it is.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I did a tough runner run this weekend, and guys,
- 33:21Speaker 1: up until the day I did it, I thought about
- 33:23Speaker 1: backing out. But you know why I didn't accountability because
- 33:28Speaker 1: I had others from my all In by Teddy community
- 33:30Speaker 1: pushing me, supporting me, and ultimately completing the race with me.
- 33:35Speaker 1: That is the power of what all in can do
- 33:38Speaker 1: and what I know we can do for you. So
- 33:40Speaker 1: if you're stuck, if you are afraid, if you don't

- 33:55Speaker 1: dollars off any program. So, whether it's strength training or loss,
- 34:00Speaker 1: head to all in Bye Teddy dot com and use
- 34:03Speaker 1: code popping off and let's get you and your goals
- 34:06Speaker 1: in check. Now we're into the episode. It's part two
- 34:16Speaker 1: of beach Day, which I hate beach days like this.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I don't ever like.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I don't like going to that beach for the way
- 34:25Speaker 1: that they even have to walk down that Like in
- 34:27Speaker 1: Orange County, it's a very different beach experience.
- 34:29Speaker 2: You just walk onto the beach and then you see
- 34:31Speaker 2: the water.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Yeah, in Malibu or Santa Monica, you have to walk
- 34:35Speaker 1: like seven hundred and fifty steps like before you even
- 34:40Speaker 1: get anywhere near the water.
- 34:41Speaker 2: That you would never even go in the water there
- 34:44Speaker 2: anyway because it's pollute, but you have to get near
- 34:47Speaker 2: it so it looks like you're actually on a beach
- 34:49Speaker 2: and not just in a sandbox, a large sandbox.
- 34:54Speaker 1: But it's we're back to talking about arian are refusing
- 34:59Speaker 1: to be near Santa Va anymore.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Show Shorts takes him to a bar so he can
- 35:03Speaker 2: have a breather. I love Shorts he's always like he
- 35:10Speaker 2: tries so hard. It's like he's clueless about Like he's
- 35:14Speaker 2: always confused that things like this are going to happen
- 35:18Speaker 2: and then people aren't going to respond well to it. Yeah,
- 35:21Speaker 2: and then he tries to remedy it every time.
- 35:25Speaker 1: But I also, I don't know that I necessarily one
- 35:29Speaker 1: hundred percent believe that Tom is out buying the paper towels,
- 35:33Speaker 1: the batteries and doing all these things. But yet and
- 35:38Speaker 1: is picking up his personal messes and washing his car. Yeah,
- 35:44Speaker 1: like wash washing everything? Like, really, Tom, and is that
- 35:50Speaker 1: is in your opinion? Is buying home necessity is like
- 35:54Speaker 1: a big deal?
- 35:55Speaker 2: Like for me, I don't even go to the grocery store.
- 35:58Speaker 2: I just go on Amazon, o'h like Amazon Fresh. No,
- 36:03Speaker 2: I'm talking about for batteries or paper towels. Oh, I
- 36:06Speaker 2: don't know. I don't have an Amazon account, so what
- 36:10Speaker 2: I know? I know life is so difficult for me.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I don't know my husband's password to his phone, and
- 36:15Speaker 2: I don't have any Amazon account. I'm sorry, I'm offended
- 36:18Speaker 2: by this information. I know, how do you live? Where
- 36:21Speaker 2: do you buy things? Well, anytime I find something on
- 36:24Speaker 2: Amazon that I would like to buy to I have
- 36:27Speaker 2: to text the link to Shane and ask him to
- 36:29Speaker 2: buy it for me.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I would end up divorced because my amount of late
- 36:36Speaker 1: night shopping on Amazon for useless things that will never
- 36:40Speaker 1: work or are unnecessary for my life.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I know, well, my Amazon account got all messed up
- 36:45Speaker 2: and I've never been able to fix it, and so
- 36:47Speaker 2: I just gave up. I can help you with this,
- 36:50Speaker 2: I can help you. I will fix this problem for
- 36:52Speaker 2: you and them, I know, right. And I don't have
- 36:56Speaker 2: instacar either, because I had so many people try to
- 36:58Speaker 2: hack into it that I had to delete it.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I actually I don't like Instacart. I don't like somebody
- 37:03Speaker 1: grocery shopping like a I don't like a stranger grocery
- 37:07Speaker 1: shopping right because then they're like left to their own
- 37:10Speaker 1: devices to.
- 37:11Speaker 2: They're like they don't you don't like like the fresh
- 37:14Speaker 2: fruit of veggies they pick out no, and then it.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Comes and mistakes happen, like I'll say like I want
- 37:21Speaker 1: a banana, and then like they'll.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Bring or one banana. I don't let you know. I've
- 37:28Speaker 2: done that too, where I thought I ordered three bananas,
- 37:31Speaker 2: but instead I got three pounds of bananas.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Then we get into Sheino wants to set Shorts up
- 37:40Speaker 1: with her former nanny, Tory.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 1: We get a flashback to six days ago when Tory
- 37:46Speaker 1: confronts Shorts, telling him she thinks he's hot, but Katie
- 37:50Speaker 1: told Sheena she wants to date Toy. Is this an
- 37:54Speaker 1: audition tape that Tory is submitting to be on this show?
- 37:57Speaker 1: Because I don't believe that she's into either of them.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I don't know. I was thinking the same thing. I
- 38:02Speaker 2: was like, it's all really convenient that this girl shows
- 38:05Speaker 2: up and then two people are interested in her at
- 38:09Speaker 2: the same time. It's very suspect.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But the entire group, of course, then heads to the
- 38:17Speaker 1: same beach bar, which means like they already had, you know,
- 38:21Speaker 1: the permit sign and everything like this, They knew they
- 38:24Speaker 1: weren't gonna last long with the book Are you Yawning?
- 38:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:28Speaker 1: Sorry, don't longs to read? Always say are you Yawnie?
- 38:34Speaker 1: Then the group heads to the same bar. Stand of
- 38:37Speaker 1: all approaches the group of random girls buying them a shot.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Tory walks up to Shorts and he jokingly calls her
- 38:44Speaker 1: his girlfriend. Tory is very upfront with that she thinks
- 38:47Speaker 1: he's hot and he wants she wants him to ask
- 38:50Speaker 1: her on a real date, and then Katie fully cop
- 38:53Speaker 1: blocks the situation and is like, one, that's not champagne,
- 38:57Speaker 1: it's sparkling wine.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I just felt like Toy wanting to date both of
- 39:03Speaker 1: them felt pretty convenient for her. For her, Yeah, like, yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: do you think she's into either of them? I think
- 39:13Speaker 1: she wanted to babysit summer moon, Like, I don't think
- 39:15Speaker 1: she want to do any of those.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Oh, she definitely didn't want a babysit. She was like, wait,
- 39:19Speaker 2: why am I here again? What am I doing? I
- 39:24Speaker 2: think that she wants to be on TV, and however
- 39:27Speaker 2: she can make that work, whether it's the nanny or
- 39:30Speaker 2: dating Katie or sleeping with shorts. She's a willing participant
- 39:34Speaker 2: in whatever avenue works for her. Okay, so she's ready.
- 39:38Speaker 2: She's down. Ariana is not down.
- 39:41Speaker 1: She acknowledges that anger she has towards Santaval isn't healthy.
- 39:45Speaker 1: This is I feel like this season, it's the first
- 39:48Speaker 1: time we've seen her break down in an emotional, like
- 39:51Speaker 1: crying type way.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Right, it's always mean. It's been such anger, such intense
- 39:58Speaker 2: anger where he can't even walk and she's like like
- 40:02Speaker 2: he's like trying to sneak past her and she attacks him. Yeah,
- 40:06Speaker 2: and I and I did appreciate that. We saw like
- 40:11Speaker 2: a more vulnerable side.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yes, like I created this whole life for him and
- 40:16Speaker 1: I realized for us and this was supposed to be
- 40:19Speaker 1: my dream. Like that part I one million percent like
- 40:23Speaker 1: I get.
- 40:25Speaker 2: And then this is the problem.
- 40:26Speaker 1: I also see Laala's side that I just saw when
- 40:29Speaker 1: she was on a podcast, and she's saying, if this
- 40:33Speaker 1: person triggers you to this point and makes you so
- 40:37Speaker 1: unhappy and so miserable, how did you have a boyfriend
- 40:40Speaker 1: ten days later? And why would you choose to still
- 40:43Speaker 1: live with this person if you like, just get out.
- 40:49Speaker 1: So I for the first time I saw both sides.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Normally I just see laalas, but this time I saw both.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I did too. And I think her reason for
- 40:57Speaker 2: saying in the house is she's so she's so committed
- 41:00Speaker 2: or connected to that home, like even talking with the
- 41:03Speaker 2: interior designer and going over the receipts and talking about
- 41:06Speaker 2: every piece of furniture, like she clearly just can't walk
- 41:09Speaker 2: away from it. I think it's like at this point,
- 41:12Speaker 2: it's about winning. She's in a very winning, I need
- 41:16Speaker 2: to win kind of attitude.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Yeah, like if I think the biggest issue is if
- 41:24Speaker 1: Tom for one second were to say to Ariana, I
- 41:29Speaker 1: loved you so much and things went askew and my
- 41:36Speaker 1: love went away, and instead of ending it, I did
- 41:40Speaker 1: the worst possible thing I could have done to you,
- 41:42Speaker 1: and I portrayed you and I'm so sorry. I do
- 41:46Speaker 1: think we would have a different app I think she
- 41:48Speaker 1: would have moved through this in a different way.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Probably Did you write that down and send it
- 41:53Speaker 2: to him? Maybe journal it? Oh I could journal it
- 41:55Speaker 2: and then cry about it in my closet. Yeah, because
- 41:58Speaker 2: I feel like maybe I feel like those words were
- 42:01Speaker 2: excellent choice, thank you, and that you should share those
- 42:04Speaker 2: with him, because I'm not I moved. I felt very moved.
- 42:10Speaker 2: I forgave you you, forgave me for cheating on you. Yes,
- 42:14Speaker 2: in that moment, I forgave you.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Thanks, But clearly this isn't happening. And then we have
- 42:21Speaker 1: to see lots of awkward makeouts this episode.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, lots between Katie telling Tory that she's had
- 42:36Speaker 2: sex with a girl.
- 42:36Speaker 1: This is all fine, but then when they start kissing
- 42:39Speaker 1: at the bar and shorts are still there and we've
- 42:41Speaker 1: already seen Tory as Shorts out on a date. This
- 42:45Speaker 1: to me didn't feel like the most organic kiss. No,
- 42:50Speaker 1: it didn't seem genuine, It didn't seem filled with passion.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I is Katie doing it to get back
- 42:58Speaker 2: at Schwartz because did she to see them like flirting
- 43:01Speaker 2: with each other at the bar.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I think that Katie is very and we're gonna have
- 43:08Speaker 1: her on the pod so we can ask her. But
- 43:10Speaker 1: every time I have hung.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Out with Katie, her like demeanor is very chill, Like
- 43:16Speaker 2: she's just chill and people want to be around her.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I know that that's not necessarily what we are seeing
- 43:23Speaker 1: on the show, but like we both worked like I
- 43:26Speaker 1: think it was a patrona event and like there were
- 43:30Speaker 1: hot guys like going for her like hot, hot, hot,
- 43:36Speaker 1: every like it was and she was just like laid back.
- 43:38Speaker 1: She didn't seem obsessed, like she didn't like flattered by it.
- 43:41Speaker 2: It was just like she was cool.
- 43:45Speaker 1: And I think if we go back in history, we
- 43:47Speaker 1: see that Katie has repeatedly been dicked over by people,
- 43:52Speaker 1: and that's why she has such large reactions because she's like,
- 43:56Speaker 1: you're gaslighting me.
- 43:57Speaker 2: But what do you think about the fact that she
- 43:59Speaker 2: had sex with his best friend Max and now she's
- 44:02Speaker 2: making out with the girl that just asked him out, Like,
- 44:05Speaker 2: do you think she's doing these things simultaneously just to
- 44:08Speaker 2: get back at him or she hope.
- 44:10Speaker 1: It's to get back at him, because she's kind of
- 44:12Speaker 1: laughing about it, Like it doesn't even seem malicious, like
- 44:16Speaker 1: the conversation where they are talking about Max, and then
- 44:20Speaker 1: also when they're talking about Toy, they're flirting.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Yeah, like so maybe it's maybe it's like healthy competition.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Do you think that we're going to see a threesome
- 44:32Speaker 2: before the end of the season between the three of them,
- 44:34Speaker 2: I mean we might. Joe's going to be really bummed. Well,
- 44:38Speaker 2: Joe's already bombed.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Well, La La and Joe get lunch at the hot
- 44:47Speaker 1: dog stand, which did you see where the hot dog
- 44:49Speaker 1: was poking out of the side and it looked like
- 44:51Speaker 1: a full dinger?
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, where is that? I want to go there now?
- 44:55Speaker 2: Oh it's on Las Sienega. But like the angle, I
- 44:57Speaker 2: was like, oh my gosh.
- 45:00Speaker 1: But in her confessional, Joe says she wants to be
- 45:03Speaker 1: welcome into the group. If she's going to be in
- 45:05Speaker 1: short life forever, and Lala is the ticket to that.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I was like Joe that that wasn't a great thing
- 45:11Speaker 1: to say.
- 45:12Speaker 2: I didn't really understand that she's giving Lala alat of power.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Does that mean Lala's like the gatekeeper and no one
- 45:17Speaker 2: can get into the group unless Lala approves them. I
- 45:20Speaker 2: know this is the second time we've heard this. If
- 45:21Speaker 2: you don't get along with Lala, you're out.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but my guess is Lala is the only one
- 45:28Speaker 1: that will pretty much do whatever she has to do
- 45:31Speaker 1: to make a good show.
- 45:33Speaker 2: And so they know, are you putting a dog? Are you?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Are you all right? My dog is My dog has
- 45:41Speaker 2: not seen me for six days. He needs come here,
- 45:46Speaker 2: hop up here so people can see that I have
- 45:47Speaker 2: a dog and I'm not rubbing like an infection or something.
- 45:53Speaker 2: It's happening here. He's very he's very lonely. He has
- 45:58Speaker 2: not seen me for six and he needs a mom
- 46:01Speaker 2: to I was like, something's going on. Yeah, it's not
- 46:05Speaker 2: an infection, it's just a dog. I'm rubbing it. Okay, good.
- 46:09Speaker 1: But there is something about Laala meeting Joe at a
- 46:12Speaker 1: hot dog stand that feels so ridiculous yet so right.
- 46:16Speaker 2: And I appreciated it more than I appreciated.
- 46:20Speaker 1: James, Alli, Cadie and Arianna at Top Golf.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I did like the hot dog stand. But you know,
- 46:26Speaker 2: my question is, is she says she's going to be
- 46:28Speaker 2: in shorts life forever, Like that is a very bold statement.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Does that mean in his life forever as marriage like
- 46:36Speaker 2: that's her intent or just that they would be best
- 46:39Speaker 2: friends forever. Well, my guess is during COVID, those two
- 46:45Speaker 2: really like they did everything together. So I think that
- 46:49Speaker 2: Joe because he had no other choice, right, I know,
- 46:54Speaker 2: I think.
- 46:54Speaker 1: That's the point, like that it was it became her,
- 46:58Speaker 1: he became her everything, and maybe at that point in time,
- 47:02Speaker 1: she became his everything. So those feelings got a little
- 47:06Speaker 1: bit wrapped up and then things got a little askew.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I did like when Laala and Shina went to the
- 47:14Speaker 1: sperm bank and Lala talks about how she's currently part
- 47:20Speaker 1: of a broken family and she wants to make sure
- 47:23Speaker 1: that can't happen again. And I just think that she
- 47:28Speaker 1: said a lot of things that will resonate with a
- 47:30Speaker 1: lot of people. Yeah.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Absolutely, I understand her choice. I mean, she just I
- 47:36Speaker 2: can't imagine the sharing custody type of situation. I mean,
- 47:39Speaker 2: I know Shane struggled with it for years. Clearly, I
- 47:42Speaker 2: don't know what that's like because we have three children together,
- 47:45Speaker 2: but we're together, so I know how difficult that can
- 47:48Speaker 2: be to have to deal with an ex and have
- 47:50Speaker 2: to do custody and trying to figure things out, and
- 47:55Speaker 2: especially when someone's not flexible. I can't imagine what it's
- 47:58Speaker 2: like to have a child that you just want to
- 47:59Speaker 2: go somewhere with or take somewhere or go on vacation
- 48:02Speaker 2: and you have to ask someone else's permission, you have
- 48:04Speaker 2: to work with their schedule, and.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Especially if you have no content, like if you're It
- 48:10Speaker 1: was a very toxic breakup, not just like okay, we're
- 48:14Speaker 1: no longer compatible, we're breaking up like and then having
- 48:17Speaker 1: to so so I get it. But then of course
- 48:21Speaker 1: they bring up Ariana again. Then we have the hair scene,
- 48:26Speaker 1: which I don't know that we need to we need
- 48:28Speaker 1: to bring up anymore.
- 48:30Speaker 2: It was a mistake. It's a mistake. I don't think
- 48:34Speaker 2: there's any way.
- 48:36Speaker 1: I Also, I've never seen somebody put bleach on somebody's
- 48:39Speaker 1: head and not use gloves.
- 48:43Speaker 2: She just have her hands in there. She's just getting
- 48:45Speaker 2: it in there, I was like, hold on, I'm confused.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but what did you think about la Katie being
- 48:57Speaker 1: pissed that Laala went out to lunch with Joe.
- 48:59Speaker 2: I think Katie, I mean, I think she has to
- 49:01Speaker 2: get over the whole her. She clearly has hatred for Joe.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I mean, Joe is definitely unique and she's quirky, but
- 49:10Speaker 2: I don't think she deserves hatred from I don't think
- 49:14Speaker 2: that Joe appears to be on drugs. I do wish
- 49:20Speaker 2: she had she got doing that she got married. She is,
- 49:27Speaker 2: I just like to say quirky. She's a little quirky.
- 49:30Speaker 2: I don't think she has a malicious bone in her body.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I think she's so Really, you don't think she has
- 49:35Speaker 1: some malicious bone in her body. You don't think she
- 49:36Speaker 1: did her did shorts hair that color out of spite. No.
- 49:40Speaker 2: I think she thinks it looks good. I think she
- 49:43Speaker 2: thinks she did a great job. There is no way.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Even at singles night, I feel like she looked at
- 49:48Speaker 1: it and she was like shit, like she wouldn't leave it.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Alone, and it like wouldn't lay right. And okay, wait,
- 49:55Speaker 2: did she know he was going on Singles night before
- 49:57Speaker 2: or after she did his hair. Oh they remember she
- 50:01Speaker 2: was sitting she was doing his hair, and he told
- 50:03Speaker 2: her about singles night. Okay, there we go. She sabotaged him.
- 50:08Speaker 2: She's like, oh, okay, yeah, I get it now. Yeah,
- 50:12Speaker 2: she wanted to scrow over.
- 50:13Speaker 1: And then she goes, I want to go. I want
- 50:15Speaker 1: to go, And then they wore the singles bands and then.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Why did he say? Okay, though, he has to have
- 50:22Speaker 2: some balls. He has to if he wants boundaries with her,
- 50:25Speaker 2: he has to draw some boundaries.
- 50:35Speaker 1: I don't really think there's anything to point out about
- 50:39Speaker 1: paintball other than why did the girls come if they
- 50:42Speaker 1: weren't going to play?
- 50:44Speaker 2: I don't know. Have you ever played paintball? That's my question.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I have played paintball. I don't need to play it again.
- 50:51Speaker 1: I mean I would if my kids wanted to go.
- 50:54Speaker 1: But none of us like that feeling of that little.
- 50:57Speaker 2: It hurts, you know, Yeah, you don't like being shot
- 51:00Speaker 2: in the face that like full throttle with a little
- 51:03Speaker 2: thing that stings and then leaves a Well, we don't
- 51:06Speaker 2: and we don't even have specialized outfits for it. So
- 51:09Speaker 2: I mean, you don't have a paintball outfit. I don't.
- 51:13Speaker 1: And then we get to Joe at Short's house when
- 51:16Speaker 1: he gets home and they're top. Essentially they break up.
- 51:21Speaker 1: We realize at this point they've been hooking up this
- 51:23Speaker 1: whole time, don't you agree?
- 51:26Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean, I'm sure I can't imagine that
- 51:31Speaker 2: she made it up. I mean, and now I understand
- 51:33Speaker 2: why she gets so upset. She gets upset because she
- 51:36Speaker 2: probably just had sex with the guy the night before,
- 51:37Speaker 2: and now he's like speed dating or dating, like yeah,
- 51:41Speaker 2: and making out with the other.
- 51:43Speaker 1: By the way, I think that trick that he made
- 51:44Speaker 1: out with at the speed dating place would be good television.
- 51:48Speaker 2: That girl, she was a lot, Yeah, it was a lot.
- 51:52Speaker 2: She was a lot.
- 51:54Speaker 1: But what about how she said, like we say I
- 51:56Speaker 1: love you to each other? And then you can tell
- 51:58Speaker 1: he's like in a panic state, and he's like.
- 52:00Speaker 2: I mean we may have even said I love you.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I'm like, you don't even may you didn't? Maybe say
- 52:05Speaker 2: you either said it or you didn't, right, right, Well,
- 52:08Speaker 2: they're clearly on two different pages. I actually felt badly
- 52:11Speaker 2: for her when she was crying. I felt, I don't
- 52:14Speaker 2: think he's the kind of guy that would purposefully use someone.
- 52:18Speaker 2: But because she's so nice, and she's so into him.
- 52:21Speaker 2: He's just allowing her to be used because they have sex.
- 52:24Speaker 2: He tells her that he loves her, but then he
- 52:26Speaker 2: goes out on dates with other people and he's not
- 52:30Speaker 2: recognizing that this is mentally damaging to her.
- 52:33Speaker 1: But I also envision like what the call would be
- 52:36Speaker 1: that Joe made to her dad, Like, hey, dad, you
- 52:40Speaker 1: know the forty year old guy that I've been sleeping
- 52:43Speaker 1: with in the dirty apartment that's on a TV show
- 52:46Speaker 1: that I was just married and I was friends with
- 52:48Speaker 1: the wife. He told me he didn't want to be
- 52:50Speaker 1: with me anymore on camera, and like then I had
- 52:54Speaker 1: these braids in my hair and then this other girl
- 52:56Speaker 1: made me feel bad about.
- 52:57Speaker 2: It, Like what did the conversation and what was it
- 53:01Speaker 2: going to be to her dad? Yes, remember when she
- 53:05Speaker 2: starts crying, she goes, she's gonna go talk to my dad. Oh,
- 53:09Speaker 2: my dad. No, she's gonna say that we have sex.
- 53:12Speaker 2: And he says, I love you and I made his
- 53:14Speaker 2: hair very pretty, and then he went on his head
- 53:18Speaker 2: with someone else.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Not only did he go on a speed date with
- 53:22Speaker 1: somebody else, he gave that person his hat. And she
- 53:26Speaker 1: was very concerned that it was going to be his
- 53:27Speaker 1: last one. You don't have more, and then he said,
- 53:29Speaker 1: I have one hundreds, hundreds, hundreds of them in storage.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I was like, you have a storage unit and yet
- 53:36Speaker 1: your apartment looks like that is a storage unit of hats.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Well, it's gonna get juicy, I think next week, Let's hope,
- 53:46Speaker 1: because at this point I'm more excited to talk about
- 53:49Speaker 1: the valley than i was this episode of Anna pump Roles.
- 53:52Speaker 1: So we are going to close out for today, but
- 53:55Speaker 1: we will be back to talk about the valley and
- 53:59Speaker 1: then uh her pump Villa.
- 54:00Speaker 2: All right, Thanks guys for listening. Thanks hmm
