- 0:00Hi, I'm Jay felon. Thanks for listening to the
- 0:03slippery slope. You headline came out today.
- 0:06This is in Australia and it says calls for petrol ban to speed up
- 0:11electric swap. Now this is a story by Jennifer
- 0:16Dudley Nicholson. Now generally Went reading
- 0:22through this reading through the article.
- 0:26This is the kind of tactics that that despots dictators say, you
- 0:33know, they, they know best and we all have to go along with it.
- 0:39We've seen this in the last couple of years.
- 0:43The reason why these people the media, these so-called experts
- 0:48are governments, feel that they can force, they can dictate to
- 0:54the public what they can do, what they should do, and they
- 0:58can make these rules and that we should go along because they've
- 1:01already tested the waters with covid.
- 1:03They tested the waters, they said hey If we turn around and
- 1:08say this is for your good, this is for your benefit.
- 1:12You've got to listen to us, we know what's best for you.
- 1:17Then everyone will go along with it and just how will the experts
- 1:20have told us? The experts say, this is what we
- 1:22have to do. Don't look too much into it.
- 1:26Don't question, don't question. Don't question my authority A or
- 1:32B that before. Okay, calls for petrol being to
- 1:36speed up electric swap. one in four new cars brought by
- 1:45Australians could be electric as early as 20 25 but government
- 1:53should set a date for the end of petrol, Car Sales to speed up
- 1:58the transition energy experts recommend, you know, you love
- 2:02these experts The Faceless The Faceless names who claim to be
- 2:08experts in when they say petrol, cars obviously, they mean diesel
- 2:12as well. Okay.
- 2:14Don't don't be confused. They coming up there.
- 2:18Everything Australia also needs it needs new policies to roll at
- 2:23vehicle charges and put pressure on.
- 2:26Electric car prices. They say, and should recruit
- 2:29celebrities and sports stars to create the biggest public,
- 2:34Mobilization, the nation has ever seen.
- 2:39Can't you hear that? The rhetoric now stand up for
- 2:42your country? Yes we can see all those sports
- 2:44stars getting paid Mega Bucks just to stand up and say yep yep
- 2:49we don't want petrol. We don't want diesel anymore.
- 2:52Go the electric, the recommendations come from.
- 2:55A group of experts set to appear at energy.
- 3:00Next, that's them. That's the total energy.
- 3:02Next. A two-day renewable.
- 3:04Energy Event held in Sydney from July 18.
- 3:09They also come three weeks after the federal government launched,
- 3:12the national electric vehicle strategy, and announced new
- 3:17funding for highway vehicle charges and green car loan
- 3:20subsidies. Now, in only any of you remember
- 3:24hearing this National Electric Vehicle strategy.
- 3:27We wasn't a lot of publicity about it.
- 3:29Was it maybe I just missed it. So energy, lab, chief,
- 3:32executive. Megan me.
- 3:34Fisher. Who is this?
- 3:36Climate Tech startups said, Australians will increasingly,
- 3:40we're increasingly choosing electric vehicles even though
- 3:43they faced hurdles, she predicted, she's a real
- 3:47Nostradamus. She predicted one in four new
- 3:50car sales would be Electric in less than two years, of course,
- 3:53it's easy to predict that if you also plan on being fossil fuels,
- 3:58fossil fuel car, sales best estimates, she says are doubling
- 4:02each year which would have us a 20 Five percent by 2025.
- 4:06She said, we know I love it. When people say that, we know
- 4:11it, we know we need to go faster but price point availability and
- 4:15range anxiety, a creating too much of a drag on EV adoption.
- 4:21But predictions among the group of 21 energy, experts surveyed
- 4:27buried with what watches spokesman Murray, hog worth
- 4:31naming 2026 as the year Australian Woods.
- 4:34E, 25 percent electric vehicle adoption but others including
- 4:39Eco and borrow director dr. Richard beenleigh, Jones and ACA
- 4:45research senior account manager, Amelia mikve.
- 4:49Not expecting the Milestone until closer to 2030.
- 4:53Electric vehicle sales reached eight percent in Australia.
- 4:56During April up from 3.8%. 2022, mrs.
- 5:01McVeigh said changing sentiment towards Electric vehicles made
- 5:06forecasts difficult and with the new National policy State
- 5:11incentives incentives and greater demand altered expect
- 5:16expectations. Looking at those in the market
- 5:18for a new vehicle in the next 12 months over one-fifth a consider
- 5:23considering an EV. She said EV costs are coming
- 5:26down with analysts predicting price, parity on at least some
- 5:30models by 2025 but Brett's Mill from you Durable.
- 5:35Renewable energy. Firm herot KAIT said the
- 5:41adoption of electric vehicles were still too slow and more
- 5:46States. Should introduce a deadline to
- 5:49ban the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles.
- 5:52Wow, do you think he's got well? So the dude.
- 5:58He is from a firm carrot which is a renewable energy firm.
- 6:06They Precious Moments. It does no one else.
- 6:10See that maybe there is a conflict of interest when the
- 6:13person who gains the most, the most is standing up there
- 6:18saying, yes, this is the direction we should go.
- 6:20It will just happen to make me a lot richer, but of course I've
- 6:25only got your best interests at heart.
- 6:28I mean the fact that I will make a lot more money out of, it does
- 6:31not mean that I don't really care and love you all and we
- 6:35should ban, we should dictate what you can do.
- 6:39So he says to speed up. This transition, Australia needs
- 6:42to be in the import of his internal, combustion engine
- 6:46Vehicles as early as possible through emissions standards or
- 6:49other means. And put in place incentives that
- 6:52equalize the cost of an EV with a similar standard IC e car.
- 6:57He said, Consumers should be able to shift from the current
- 7:00standard of, I see vehicles to a stained similar standard of EV
- 7:03with no price or quality penalty.
- 7:07The ACT is the only Australian jurisdiction to name a date for
- 7:11the end of petrol and of petrol and Diesel.
- 7:14New car sales, I'd actually did an episode on that through a
- 7:18growing list of countries, having set a deadline, including
- 7:21Norway China, the UK, I did that episode as well Us and other
- 7:25countries in the European Union. Other recommendations from the
- 7:29European experts, sorry from the energy.
- 7:32Experts included. Incentives for petrol stations,
- 7:36to install electric charges a higher luxury car, tax
- 7:41thresholds, reduced prices and a star-studded public information
- 7:45campaign. Mr. Hogg worth said should make
- 7:48the nation's electrification journey and the biggest public
- 7:51mobilization, the nation has ever seen.
- 7:55So well. Okay, let's look at Some of the
- 7:58episodes that I did, this came out last year.
- 8:00Okay, so this one here, the episode was called to impose
- 8:04severe penalties on Australians who buy petrol, diesel cars,
- 8:10isn't that great? So this came out so said, the
- 8:12Australians could be slapped with a four thousand dollar
- 8:15penalty for buying a four-wheel drive as a billionaire calls for
- 8:19a dramatic surgeon. Electric vehicles, to tackle
- 8:22courses, to tackle climate change.
- 8:25This was my Canon Brooks coming out saying, hey, slap everyone
- 8:30with a four thousand dollar bill because that, you know,
- 8:32obviously that's, that's the thing to do.
- 8:35So you've got that, then there's this episode that I've done
- 8:37earlier on a ban on new petrol and diesel vehicles.
- 8:43Now, in this episode here, I was talking about this new
- 8:48legislation coming in in the UK in.
- 8:51This is just one. One of the big problems with
- 8:55this, okay? So the United Kingdom plans to
- 9:00pass legislation and it actually did pass legislation actually,
- 9:04that will see ev homes and workplace charges being switched
- 9:08off, at peak times to avoid blackouts.
- 9:12So you buy a new car, you have to install electric vehicle
- 9:17charger in your home. It has to be connected to the
- 9:20grid, to the government power grid.
- 9:24Has to be in the government. Can dictate the government.
- 9:28Can actually turn it off the legislation that they have
- 9:31passed shows that the government can turn off your charger,
- 9:36during the night. If there is too much stress on
- 9:40the electric system on the electric grid, the government
- 9:44can go through and turn off electric vehicle.
- 9:46Charges, you can wake up in the morning thinking, oh yeah, my
- 9:49car has been charging all night on fine for the day and lo and
- 9:53behold you I can't drive any more than 50 kilometers because
- 9:57that's all your car has ended charge.
- 9:59Its battery charge if that's not control.
- 10:02What is why should the government?
- 10:05This, this is what people are not thinking about, okay?
- 10:10You, you can go anytime even in a small town, like I lived in in
- 10:14the whitsundays, petrol stations are still open, some petrol,
- 10:18stations are still open 24 hours a day.
- 10:20No one can dictate how much petrol, how much diesel you're
- 10:23allowed to put. In your vehicle, no one can
- 10:26dictate where you drive to no one can dictate that.
- 10:30Okay. If but you can dictate, if you
- 10:34can charge, if you can, if you can stop people and you can
- 10:39dictate how much people can charge the electric vehicles,
- 10:44then you dictate how far they can drive.
- 10:47You can, you can dictate the activity.
- 10:52Not to mention that. It's a lot easier to track these
- 10:55vehicles. Anyway.
- 10:56Hmm. So the United Kingdom are plans
- 11:00to past where, where is that too.
- 11:03So now if by transport secretary Grant shapps do, the proposed
- 11:08law, stipulates the electric car chargers installed at home or at
- 11:13the workplace may not function for up to nine hours a day to
- 11:17avoid overloading the national electric grid electricity, Grid
- 11:22this. Like I said, this is the
- 11:24legislation that was passed in the UK.
- 11:28This is what they will bring in in Australia in Canada in the
- 11:33u.s. they will dictate. How long and when you can charge
- 11:39your vehicle it will no longer matter doesn't matter to them.
- 11:42Whether it's convenient for you. They don't care as long as they
- 11:47can control your Every Day Life. Goes on to say, in addition to
- 11:52the nine hours a day of downtime authorities will be in, will be
- 11:57able to impose a randomized delay of 30 minutes on
- 12:02individual charges in certain areas to prevent grid spikes at
- 12:08other times. Well, isn't that fantastic in
- 12:10this time when there is a lot of strain on electrical systems
- 12:15because, you know, governments have decided that we should
- 12:18close Cole Culpeper, food, co-op Leon, coal powered electricity
- 12:26plants, you know, because they're bad for the environment.
- 12:30I mean, even though we've made Leaps and Bounds in the
- 12:33technology for cold coal-fired electric plants and we can we
- 12:39can make them very clean. Now with the media, the Greenies
- 12:43is still getting around with this rhetoric, that it's really
- 12:45dirty. There's nothing we can do about
- 12:47it, we just need to shut them down.
- 12:50And put more pressure on the power grid.
- 12:52And by the way, we close down these power plants and then we
- 12:56should also put more pressure by bringing in a lot more electric
- 13:00vehicles. That makes a lot of sense,
- 13:02doesn't it? So yeah, then then this episode
- 13:06of the did which discusses more the UK 2030 petrol car, ban and
- 13:11diesel car. Damn, So in this on this
- 13:15episode, just talking about the new petrol and diesel cars will
- 13:19be banned from sale in 2030 along with many hybrids under a
- 13:24government plan to cut air pollution and boost Britain's
- 13:28electric car industry. So they're just they're just
- 13:32forcing these things to happen. I'm going to put all these links
- 13:34up just in case you haven't listened to them before.
- 13:37I'll put all these links up so you can so you can check out
- 13:39these other episodes. These earlier episodes are did.
- 13:43But getting back to this article, this Mirotic which came
- 13:47out today. Like I said, we've seen this for
- 13:51the last three years. Now, when it came to when it
- 13:55came to covid you know, all these little so-called experts
- 13:59come out and decide, hey, we know best for you.
- 14:02We will dictate and how we will get you to do.
- 14:07What we want. Is we will impose bands on you
- 14:11so, You might not like it, but we'll make things so tough for
- 14:15you that you will just go long. We don't want you to Buck.
- 14:19We don't want you to push back, just do, as you're told like,
- 14:22good little puppets, go along with the band's, don't raise
- 14:26your voice. Do what we tell you, thus says
- 14:31the Great and Mighty despots the experts.
- 14:37Don't go along with it. These people are not experts,
- 14:40they are all they're lying to you, they are lying to you.
- 14:44In the end it is just about control.
- 14:47All they want is to be able to control where you go and how you
- 14:51get there. They want to be able to monitor
- 14:53you tell you, where you can go. And when you can go, We need to
- 14:59hold our politicians accountable for as long as we possibly can
- 15:05and tell them that we do not want these things.
- 15:11It's all about control people. It's all about control, but hey,
- 15:18I think there might have been a book called The Bible.
- 15:23I think it's called The Bible and it's may have predicted this
- 15:26kind of scenario, what do you reckon?
- 15:31This is all just my opinion. Thank you for listening to the
- 15:35slippery slope. Thank you for listening to the
- 15:35slippery slope.
