Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The force will be with you always.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to the nee Palty.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hi, this is Nick and Ostasu, story editor on Star Wars,
- 0:10Speaker 1: The Clone Wars and Star Wars bad Batch, and you
- 0:14Speaker 1: are listening to aggressive negotiations.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Well, hello, and welcome to aggressive negotiations. It's so excited
- 0:24Speaker 3: to be coming at you from a Tython today. It
- 0:27Speaker 3: is a little sparse here the Jedi ruins, or not
- 0:31Speaker 3: as ruinous as I thought there would be, in the
- 0:33Speaker 3: sense that there's barely anything here. And John, when you
- 0:36Speaker 3: get off that rock, how many times have I told
- 0:39Speaker 3: you not the play on the Seeing Stone?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Listen. You call it a seeing stone, I call it
- 0:45Speaker 2: a playground equipment. Okay, I see a lot of possibility
- 0:49Speaker 2: right here. You'll be able to jungle gym over this thing.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We're gonna have a lot of fun swinging around. Don't
- 0:54Speaker 2: crush my dreams. Okay. Now, excuse me while I go
- 0:57Speaker 2: into a trance like state and try to communicate across
- 1:00Speaker 2: the stars with some Jedi city planner so that we
- 1:02Speaker 2: can make Tython great again.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Okay, all I can picture is Grogu singing somewhere.
- 1:13Speaker 2: You know what I would love to have, like a
- 1:15Speaker 2: little short bit with like Luke sitting on whatever the name, yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 2: whatever planet it is, sitting there, Like imagine like him
- 1:24Speaker 2: like walking and like he suddenly gets distracted. Like that'd
- 1:26Speaker 2: be a cool little like short comic to do is
- 1:29Speaker 2: like have the moment where Luke feels Grogu's call. That'd
- 1:33Speaker 2: be kind of cool.
- 1:34Speaker 3: That'd be great.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Well, of course we're going to dive into the next
- 1:38Speaker 3: episode here of the Mandalorian. It is chapter fifteen and
- 1:45Speaker 3: it's called it's called it's Chapter fourteen, and it's called
- 1:51Speaker 3: The Tragedy, and it is pretty tragic. But before we
- 1:55Speaker 3: get there, you can find us all over social media.

- 2:24Speaker 3: with you know, other Star Wars fans, you know, maybe
- 2:27Speaker 3: maybe you know a Star Wars fan in your life
- 2:29Speaker 3: and you're like, I've got the podcast for you.
- 2:34Speaker 2: It's called Aggressive Negotiations.
- 2:36Speaker 3: But John, so this episode is one of those where
- 2:41Speaker 3: you know, we just got the Jedi Ahsoka tells Den
- 2:47Speaker 3: where she needs to bring Grogu, and we don't have
- 2:51Speaker 3: anything in between. We actually just head straight to Tython.
- 2:55Speaker 3: And I would say that one of the hallmarks of
- 2:58Speaker 3: this episode is that it's the first one directed by Rodriguez.
- 3:04Speaker 3: And this episode itself is kind of short in some
- 3:09Speaker 3: ways on story in a lot of ways because it
- 3:11Speaker 3: just feels like it once the action starts, it's just
- 3:16Speaker 3: one massive, extended action sequence.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Which plays into the strengths of Robert Rodriguez as a director.
- 3:24Speaker 2: He does action very, very well, and so I think
- 3:27Speaker 2: you're maximizing your director's skill set here, which is not
- 3:33Speaker 2: a backhanded compliment. I am not doing. I'm not damning
- 3:35Speaker 2: with faint praise. I'm saying, like, Rodriguez does some really
- 3:38Speaker 2: interesting things with frame rate. I think sometimes with these
- 3:43Speaker 2: Star Wars shows that they've had, they try to cheat
- 3:47Speaker 2: it a little bit by speeding up film, whereas his
- 3:51Speaker 2: use of frame rate distracts from those sorts of camera tricks.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It makes it much more stylized the way that guy
- 3:58Speaker 2: Ritchie will do it with slow right, and you know,
- 4:01Speaker 2: impact shots and stuff like that. So I think it's
- 4:04Speaker 2: a very fresh type of visual language to bring into
- 4:09Speaker 2: Star Wars. So I'm a big fan of this episode
- 4:11Speaker 2: specifically because you know, everybody loves to make the joke
- 4:15Speaker 2: ever since Lucas said it, like, oh, a film is
- 4:17Speaker 2: a visual medium, but it is, and Rodriguez really makes
- 4:21Speaker 2: the most of it here. I think another nice thing
- 4:23Speaker 2: about the episode I like to get your thoughts is
- 4:26Speaker 2: we are freed from the volume. We're outside. We are
- 4:31Speaker 2: straight up outside here and I know it's the hills
- 4:34Speaker 2: of southern California that they're in, but I wanted to
- 4:38Speaker 2: get your reaction. Do you detect any sort of vibe
- 4:41Speaker 2: shift by actually being in an all natural, sunlit environment.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Is there anything more dynamic about the photography here for you?
- 4:52Speaker 2: I think the.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Biggest part of this is is you can have any
- 4:59Speaker 3: one move anywhere at any time. You know their acting
- 5:03Speaker 3: is free in that sense, their movement is not restricted,
- 5:07Speaker 3: and you know it's done on the volume right. There's
- 5:13Speaker 3: there's nothing that you catch in that. But when it's
- 5:15Speaker 3: not done right, you can kind of get this sense
- 5:17Speaker 3: of almost the characters being straight jacketed, you know, and
- 5:23Speaker 3: so that of course does not happen here at all.
- 5:27Speaker 3: You know, I would say that the beauty of them
- 5:30Speaker 3: being outside is also a detriment to them being outside, because,
- 5:35Speaker 3: like you said, this just looks like southern California. And
- 5:40Speaker 3: I will say, you know, when we said we were
- 5:43Speaker 3: going to go to a you know, Jedi temple, previous
- 5:48Speaker 3: Jedi temple on Tython, one of the you know, the
- 5:52Speaker 3: the hallmarks of you know, Star Wars lore. You know
- 5:57Speaker 3: that that that that is something that goes back long
- 6:00Speaker 3: time in the lore, especially with the EU. I personally
- 6:06Speaker 3: found myself very underwhelmed by what was created, and I
- 6:10Speaker 3: think part of that is, course budget wise, is that
- 6:13Speaker 3: they're just restricted. And I had wished that there was
- 6:17Speaker 3: just more to this and I expected more too. Actually,
- 6:23Speaker 3: when I heard that we were going to Tython, what
- 6:25Speaker 3: what what are your feelings on the matter.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I see what you're saying. I expected
- 6:31Speaker 2: a little more as well. I rationalize it from the
- 6:37Speaker 2: idea that a planet is large, so it's sort of
- 6:42Speaker 2: I would rationalize it by saying it's sort of a
- 6:45Speaker 2: Lathal approach where the Jedi temple was hidden, so all
- 6:49Speaker 2: that they saw was that bit with the seeing Stone
- 6:53Speaker 2: and the rest was underground. And I think that that
- 6:59Speaker 2: is a lot of rationalization that I have to bring
- 7:02Speaker 2: to it. But it works for me because of the
- 7:06Speaker 2: fact that I'm like, you know, okay, it's hidden, like
- 7:09Speaker 2: it was Unleathal. They didn't even have any idea that
- 7:12Speaker 2: there was a Jedi temple there, and they're there the
- 7:14Speaker 2: whole time because it's hidden inside a rock. So I
- 7:19Speaker 2: can I can live with it that way. I mean,
- 7:21Speaker 2: do you think I'm working overtime to sort of like
- 7:23Speaker 2: excuse it or no?
- 7:25Speaker 3: I mean I can absolutely see what you're saying, and
- 7:30Speaker 3: it could work for it to have more to it
- 7:34Speaker 3: in that sense that you know that there is a
- 7:37Speaker 3: hidden way to get into the temple, and then you
- 7:41Speaker 3: know you would end up in something amazing, you know,
- 7:45Speaker 3: this being kind of a something that's supposed to be
- 7:48Speaker 3: an ancient Jedi spot. I almost would have expected something
- 7:53Speaker 3: like you know, the Argonauth we saw in Ahsoka, you know,
- 8:01Speaker 3: just something else, you know, or even on Jetta, right, Like,
- 8:05Speaker 3: I think that's the thing is that when I thought
- 8:08Speaker 3: of us being on Tython and what I'd seen them
- 8:12Speaker 3: do with Jetta right this planet where apparently the Jedi
- 8:17Speaker 3: had had a huge presence and you saw, you know,
- 8:21Speaker 3: massive statues in the sand. I guess I expected something
- 8:26Speaker 3: like that. But again, in many ways, you know, this
- 8:29Speaker 3: this episode is more about even though we're there for Grogu,
- 8:37Speaker 3: this episode really becomes about us filling in a lot
- 8:42Speaker 3: of the questions for Bubba Fett himself, especially the ones
- 8:46Speaker 3: that fans had had ever since, you know, it was
- 8:49Speaker 3: revealed how he was created in the you know, pre
- 8:53Speaker 3: Clone Wars, Djengo Fett himself, is he a Mandalorian? All
- 8:57Speaker 3: the stuff we learned in the Clone Wars about these two,
- 9:00Speaker 3: and so what did you think about the way in
- 9:03Speaker 3: which you know, Dave and Filony worked to kind of
- 9:07Speaker 3: bring all of that together, and you know, John is
- 9:11Speaker 3: the writer here, you know, to kind of creeate bring
- 9:16Speaker 3: all the lore together.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I agree with you it winds up being a Boba
- 9:22Speaker 2: Fett focus. And I think that they do it in
- 9:26Speaker 2: the right way, which is Grogu has to go into
- 9:28Speaker 2: a trance, so I excuse that I can allow him
- 9:32Speaker 2: to be outside of the main action. I also think
- 9:35Speaker 2: it's a great way to frame the action, because if
- 9:38Speaker 2: Grogu had been there during the battle, it's just another
- 9:41Speaker 2: thing of waiting to see how he's going to save
- 9:45Speaker 2: Din with his force powers or something like that. And
- 9:49Speaker 2: I think the payoff is that, I think more than
- 9:53Speaker 2: any other time, including on his own show, they really
- 9:56Speaker 2: gave Timy or Morrison a chance to just shine in
- 10:01Speaker 2: a battle and you know, like get to make those
- 10:05Speaker 2: really fierce warrior faces and use that gaffy stick and
- 10:09Speaker 2: it's like, that's pretty cool because that in itself raises
- 10:14Speaker 2: the further question of like, well, why is he using that?
- 10:16Speaker 2: How did he get that? And it's like, you know,
- 10:18Speaker 2: obviously we're going to find out in the Boba fet show,
- 10:21Speaker 2: you know, which we didn't know we were getting by
- 10:23Speaker 2: this point. I don't think did we know we were
- 10:25Speaker 2: getting it by this point? I don't think so. I
- 10:28Speaker 2: think they kept that hidden, Yeah, I honestly can because
- 10:30Speaker 2: that was the big that was the big teaser, that
- 10:32Speaker 2: was a big post credits sting at the end of
- 10:35Speaker 2: the season. Anyway, I think it works well. I think
- 10:39Speaker 2: that they did a really good job of making it
- 10:42Speaker 2: acceptable to focus but also bring the Empire into it.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Now I'd say the big debate is you can easily say, well,
- 10:54Speaker 2: is the tragedy that Grogu gets kidnapped or is the
- 10:58Speaker 2: tragedy that the Razor Crest gets destroyed? Because that's two
- 11:04Speaker 2: tragedies right there, and which one actually caused more heartache
- 11:09Speaker 2: for the fans is a good question because what's interesting,
- 11:13Speaker 2: especially when you watch it on a compress rewatch like this,
- 11:16Speaker 2: is they destroy the Razorcrest here and in real time
- 11:19Speaker 2: we've been with the Razorcrest in the real world as
- 11:22Speaker 2: a toy set is a thing that we like for
- 11:24Speaker 2: some time by this point. Yeah, but it story wise
- 11:28Speaker 2: watching it on a like a compressed thing where like
- 11:31Speaker 2: I know the timelines and everything like that, and I
- 11:33Speaker 2: haven't had to take so much time blah blah blah
- 11:35Speaker 2: blah blah. The Razorcrest doesn't live for very long in
- 11:38Speaker 2: this show, and it's I just want to ask you, like,
- 11:41Speaker 2: do you think that them destroying the Razor Crest winds
- 11:44Speaker 2: up being any sort of pivotal moment where Disney merchandising
- 11:48Speaker 2: Brass is like, well, before you do anything, guys, you
- 11:51Speaker 2: got to clear that stuff with us from here on, alum,
- 11:53Speaker 2: because we got toy sales to think about.
- 11:55Speaker 3: You know, I think one of the things about this
- 12:00Speaker 3: that was really interesting is one, it was a complete
- 12:03Speaker 3: shock to have that happen. To have them decide, hey,
- 12:08Speaker 3: we're just going to blow up the razorcrest was huge, right,
- 12:12Speaker 3: And you know, as we're recording this, we know from
- 12:15Speaker 3: the Mandalorian and Grogug trailer that he has a new
- 12:17Speaker 3: razor crest. You know, it's like the White thirteen hundred.
- 12:22Speaker 3: You know, Han's Millennium Falcon is not the only one. Now,
- 12:27Speaker 3: of course, what he had done to upgrade it, that's
- 12:30Speaker 3: a different story. But there are other White thirteen hundreds
- 12:34Speaker 3: out there that he could replace the Falcon with and
- 12:37Speaker 3: do the same things too, and it would feel very similar.
- 12:41Speaker 3: And so but I think that I think the beauty
- 12:46Speaker 3: of them taking this route is that it let you
- 12:51Speaker 3: know that the series was taking itself seriously in the
- 12:56Speaker 3: sense that there's anything could happen in the show to
- 13:01Speaker 3: any of your characters, even the ship you love, right,
- 13:05Speaker 3: and you know, like like Star Trek, right, which you
- 13:10Speaker 3: know people fall in love with the different vessels on
- 13:14Speaker 3: that show.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Star Wars is the.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Same, right, you know, you the Millennium Falcon is a
- 13:19Speaker 3: beloved ship. The X Wings are beloved, you know, people
- 13:25Speaker 3: just the Star Destroyers and all of these ships become
- 13:28Speaker 3: things that people just gravitate towards. And so by taking
- 13:33Speaker 3: this away from the Mandalorian, I think too, it's really
- 13:38Speaker 3: putting him in that moment of where a character has
- 13:45Speaker 3: everything taken away from them, you know, everything is stripped away,
- 13:49Speaker 3: and now this character has to find a way to
- 13:53Speaker 3: rise above. The Arc four den here is one about
- 13:58Speaker 3: letting go of a lot of things that he has
- 14:01Speaker 3: considered his for a long time. And so in many ways,
- 14:07Speaker 3: losing there razorcrest here is highlighting the big choice that's
- 14:13Speaker 3: going to come at the end of the season, right,
- 14:15Speaker 3: And so this he doesn't have a choice, right in
- 14:23Speaker 3: the same way that he really doesn't have a choice
- 14:25Speaker 3: as to whether or not Grogu will choose to go
- 14:29Speaker 3: with Luke at the end. And so, you know, I
- 14:33Speaker 3: find that really interesting, and it juxtaposes with these characters
- 14:38Speaker 3: like Din and then even like Djengo Fett, who we
- 14:42Speaker 3: learn were foundlings, right, They're characters who had nothing and
- 14:48Speaker 3: somebody found them and raised them, you know, And so
- 14:52Speaker 3: there's all of these connections that they're making in this
- 14:55Speaker 3: episode to things that are going to happen, things that
- 14:59Speaker 3: have happened, and it's all tying together really well. So
- 15:03Speaker 3: even though the story for this episode has a ton
- 15:07Speaker 3: of action, we actually are moving the story forward in
- 15:13Speaker 3: a lot of different ways and connecting to all these
- 15:16Speaker 3: things throughout the Star Wars universe with these characters, which
- 15:20Speaker 3: I think is one of those things to where the
- 15:26Speaker 3: Mandalorian was showing it knew how to tell Star Wars
- 15:30Speaker 3: stories right. And I think the best compliment I could
- 15:34Speaker 3: give it is that this is one of those episodes
- 15:36Speaker 3: where I think it showed that it had learned a
- 15:38Speaker 3: lot about storytelling from the structure of the Clone Wars
- 15:43Speaker 3: And how do you do this in say, you know,
- 15:46Speaker 3: thirty minutes, because this isn't a long episode either, so
- 15:49Speaker 3: we're going to do all of this storytelling, but we're
- 15:52Speaker 3: going to do it in twenty eight to thirty minutes.
- 15:55Speaker 2: And I think that they do something that's low key
- 15:57Speaker 2: brilliant in the fact that the act of destroying the
- 16:00Speaker 2: Razor Crest also allows them to really highlight how tough
- 16:05Speaker 2: that best gar spear is because we've seen it go
- 16:09Speaker 2: against the lightsaber in commat quick hits. But if it's
- 16:13Speaker 2: the one thing that survives the entire ship being destroyed
- 16:17Speaker 2: a straight up turbolaser blast. You will accept that that
- 16:21Speaker 2: thing will do anything from this point forward. It's unstoppable.
- 16:25Speaker 2: It's the ultimate hand hand weapon now, so that will
- 16:28Speaker 2: come into play in the future too. We don't know
- 16:31Speaker 2: how at this point when we're watching it for the
- 16:33Speaker 2: first time. But you know, like you said, it's a
- 16:37Speaker 2: short episode, so there's not like a lot to get
- 16:39Speaker 2: into necessarily, But what I want to I want to
- 16:42Speaker 2: actually round it up by like just asking you the
- 16:44Speaker 2: straightforward question. Two straightforward questions. One what was your favorite
- 16:50Speaker 2: part of the episode? What moment, what scene but all?
- 16:53Speaker 2: And then the second one is was it sufficient enough
- 16:56Speaker 2: to make you excited for the next episode, Like, were
- 16:59Speaker 2: you like I can't wait for next week?
- 17:01Speaker 3: Now?
- 17:01Speaker 2: Did it accomplish that job?
- 17:06Speaker 3: I one hundred percent was excited for the next episode.
- 17:10Speaker 3: So I'll answer that one first. I think partly because
- 17:13Speaker 3: I loved the way in which we end where you know,
- 17:16Speaker 3: boa Fett has made this pledge debt until you know,
- 17:19Speaker 3: the foundling is found, is found, the child has found,
- 17:22Speaker 3: Grogu has found that he is with Mando, and then
- 17:27Speaker 3: the moment that I love at the end too, where
- 17:30Speaker 3: you you know, he's trying to talk Kara Dune into
- 17:33Speaker 3: coming with him and he's like they took the kid,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and her face is just perfect, like let's go, I'm
- 17:39Speaker 3: gonna f somebody up big time, you know, like, which
- 17:43Speaker 3: is fantastic. But so yes, I was one hundred percent
- 17:45Speaker 3: pumped to see what was gonna come next because it's
- 17:49Speaker 3: a small microcosm of them bringing all of these characters
- 17:52Speaker 3: together here to the end of this series and in
- 17:56Speaker 3: the end of this season specifically.
- 17:58Speaker 2: But that's kind of what the Mando.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Versus slowly been doing as we've been moving through, right
- 18:03Speaker 3: It's it's it's continuously bringing in more and more players
- 18:08Speaker 3: that are going to become more and more important, which
- 18:10Speaker 3: is great.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Man.
- 18:12Speaker 3: That moment where Boba Fett you know, does the the
- 18:15Speaker 3: the knee missiles was just pretty freaking sweet dude. I
- 18:21Speaker 3: thought that was just like, that's a moment where Boba
- 18:25Speaker 3: Fett is just absolutely flexing, you know, yes, or I
- 18:29Speaker 3: guess the kids say, now he's maxing. I don't know
- 18:33Speaker 3: what that is, but I saw it.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I want to officially say that if you ever say
- 18:36Speaker 2: that again, I will end the podcast permanently. Don't ever
- 18:40Speaker 2: do that. Don't ever do that to me again. What
- 18:43Speaker 2: about you though?
- 18:43Speaker 1: What?
- 18:44Speaker 2: What?
- 18:45Speaker 3: What really stood out to you as the scene where
- 18:47Speaker 3: you're just kind of like, oh, that that's the scene
- 18:49Speaker 3: right there.
- 18:51Speaker 2: We always love to talk about how this show knows
- 18:55Speaker 2: and loves how to bring you know, old Euston in
- 19:01Speaker 2: and seeing Dark Troopers, this version of Dark Troopers flying down. Yeah, sorry,
- 19:09Speaker 2: that's called me a fanboy, called me whatever. But seeing
- 19:12Speaker 2: that like was amazing too. I was so that that
- 19:19Speaker 2: was the best for me, was seeing them fly down,
- 19:22Speaker 2: remembering playing Dark Forces for the first time in my
- 19:25Speaker 2: life decades ago and just seeing it and being like
- 19:29Speaker 2: it was it was. It wasn't just a hug for
- 19:34Speaker 2: an old fan. It wasn't just it was a full
- 19:38Speaker 2: on kiss from an old lover that you never let
- 19:43Speaker 2: go of, you know, like it's a kiss between you know,
- 19:47Speaker 2: between Rick and Hilson in Casablanca. You know, oh my god,
- 19:52Speaker 2: you're back in my life, and you know, oh gosh,
- 19:55Speaker 2: you're back in my life. I couldn't be happier. And
- 19:58Speaker 2: uh so you know that, I know, I'm a big dork.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Was I excited for the next week yeah, after this,
- 20:05Speaker 2: I mean I thought, I, you know, Season two has
- 20:08Speaker 2: been nothing but bangers by this point, but this was
- 20:11Speaker 2: like this just yeah, this was an extra shot of
- 20:14Speaker 2: adrenaline of like, oh my gosh, the stakes are even
- 20:17Speaker 2: higher now. And yep, you know, when they kidnapped Grogu,
- 20:21Speaker 2: it was like no, no, no, no, no no no no,
- 20:23Speaker 2: Like I actually believed he could be hurt in some way.
- 20:27Speaker 2: And that's you know, well in that moment.
- 20:30Speaker 3: From the episode where he's torturing those storm troopers, you know,
- 20:34Speaker 3: and the dark Saber comes out and all of that
- 20:38Speaker 3: is just I mean again, if you're not excited for
- 20:43Speaker 3: what's coming next, I think that you need to check
- 20:45Speaker 3: your pulse because you're probably dead.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, I agree. So this is a five star episode? Yeah,
- 20:55Speaker 2: I think we Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I think I think this is a this probable because
- 21:02Speaker 3: it's it's not like the best episode of the Mandalorian,
- 21:06Speaker 3: but I do think it's way up there just because
- 21:08Speaker 3: of what he's able to accomplish. And so I would
- 21:12Speaker 3: give this one four and a half out of five.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Like it's not perfect, but it's it's pretty perfect
- 21:20Speaker 3: and that's really all that matters. Like it does everything
- 21:22Speaker 3: I need it to do and show.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I'll give it. I'll give it a five. I'll give
- 21:28Speaker 2: it a straight up five simply because of the fact
- 21:30Speaker 2: that I think it's even more important with a show
- 21:32Speaker 2: like this to be like emotionally great, and I think
- 21:36Speaker 2: this show is emotionally great. This episode is emotionally great.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Like by the end of it, I'm I'm just confirmed
- 21:43Speaker 2: as like a huge fan of the show and I
- 21:45Speaker 2: just can't wait for each episode. So five from me,
- 21:49Speaker 2: so high marks across the board. But you know what
- 21:51Speaker 2: else gets high marks from me is your online presence.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Where else people can find you? Well, so where can
- 21:57Speaker 2: they find you online?
- 21:58Speaker 3: You know, I'm all over so Media under the name
- 22:01Speaker 3: Matt Rushing zero two. So if I'm on that platform,
- 22:03Speaker 3: just search for that name and you'll find me. You
- 22:05Speaker 3: can also find me here on the network with a
- 22:08Speaker 3: show called owl Post, where I'm talking about every single
- 22:11Speaker 3: chapter of the Harry Potter series, one chapter at a time.
- 22:14Speaker 3: You can also find me over on the TFM network.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I've got a bunch of shows over there. One is
- 22:18Speaker 3: called the six oh two Club. John's a frequent guest
- 22:21Speaker 3: over there. We talk about all of the franchises. We
- 22:23Speaker 3: love outside of Star Trek. You know, I was just
- 22:26Speaker 3: thinking John five years since Zack Snyder's Justice League came out,
- 22:31Speaker 3: So that's one of the big things we talked about
- 22:33Speaker 3: in a whole show called Snyder Cuts. You can find
- 22:36Speaker 3: there as well. So you can also find me with
- 22:39Speaker 3: a lot of great Star Trek talk with my good
- 22:41Speaker 3: friend Chris Jones. But John, you know, when you're not
- 22:44Speaker 3: trying to figure out how to get back to the Seeingstone,
- 22:49Speaker 3: where can people find you?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Well, you can find me online is Castle Junkie, And
- 22:54Speaker 2: like Matt said, if I'm somewhere, that's how you would
- 22:57Speaker 2: summon me. It's like an incantation by this point, and
- 23:01Speaker 2: shout it out to the sky walk outside right now
- 23:04Speaker 2: and just shout Castle Junkie to the sky and maybe
- 23:06Speaker 2: I'll show up. But you might want to just go
- 23:08Speaker 2: to good Reads or Letterbox because that's where I have
- 23:10Speaker 2: the most fun and you can find me here on
- 23:13Speaker 2: the network, co hosting a show with Tristan Radell and
- 23:15Speaker 2: Darren Moser called house Lights where we have a delightful
- 23:19Speaker 2: time talking about different movies and everything like that, but
- 23:21Speaker 2: otherwise pulling the occasional guest gig over. On six point
- 23:25Speaker 2: two Club, Like Matt said, where you know, it's the
- 23:29Speaker 2: great godfather of this show, so you know origin points
- 23:33Speaker 2: for everything. So always fun, always a good time. But Matt,
- 23:37Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. I Am going to go back
- 23:40Speaker 2: to the temple now and start trying to find the
- 23:42Speaker 2: little pieces of Razorcrest to reconstruct it so it's all
- 23:45Speaker 2: rebuilt in time for the Mandalorian and Grog and have
- 23:48Speaker 2: a nice in canon story for it. So I think
- 23:51Speaker 2: it's time to close these negotiations, John, negotiations are clothes.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Join the Revolution, Join the Nerd Party.
