Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Jade.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Yes, this is the podcast Abbey. Sometimes I don't know
- 0:07Speaker 2: Scott and Abbey unfiltered. So I'm glad if you got
- 0:09Speaker 2: to listen to the Tampa Terrence interview that we did,
- 0:12Speaker 2: because we talked about a lot of cool things happening
- 0:14Speaker 2: in Tampa and so Abby and I have been on
- 0:17Speaker 2: this quest to try all these new activities. And I
- 0:20Speaker 2: give you a lot of credit, Abbey, because without you,
- 0:22Speaker 2: I probably would not be going to all these different
- 0:23Speaker 2: social activities, even though I've lived here for over a decade.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I don't believe that for a second.
- 0:27Speaker 3: You have to believe it because I haven't.
- 0:28Speaker 4: You've been to run clubs before. You just haven't been
- 0:30Speaker 4: to that specific run club that I took you to.
- 0:32Speaker 2: It's been years, I think since I've gone to my
- 0:34Speaker 2: last run club. Like, to be honest, that's on you.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Well I'm saying.
- 0:38Speaker 3: This is me saying thank you, you're welcome, because now
- 0:41Speaker 3: we've been out.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I don't waiting to hear that for a while.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yes, I can give you credit. I'll give credit where
- 0:46Speaker 2: credit is due. And we're talking to Tampa Terrence and
- 0:49Speaker 2: we're like all these different activities like the tub Club,
- 0:53Speaker 2: and it's been something that we've mentioned so many times.
- 0:55Speaker 2: It was actually I'm sure if you've listened for a
- 0:57Speaker 2: couple episodes, you're like sick of it.
- 0:59Speaker 3: You're like, guys, go to the damn tub club.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Well, we've been waiting to go to one that we
- 1:02Speaker 4: could go to, and that happened this Sunday.
- 1:04Speaker 3: And it couldn't have been any more perfect.
- 1:07Speaker 2: But there was a couple of moments that I do
- 1:08Speaker 2: want to debrief because I'm like, is this something that
- 1:10Speaker 2: I would be willing to go back to?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Is this something that I want to try again?
- 1:15Speaker 2: But before we get into that, I think we need
- 1:18Speaker 2: to address what I feel like our amazing community has
- 1:21Speaker 2: had to put up with me for a while because
- 1:23Speaker 2: apparently Abby and the other people in my life have
- 1:26Speaker 2: noticed that I'm a moaner.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I can't sit in silence anymore and people are going
- 1:31Speaker 4: to take this strong way all because oh, this is
- 1:33Speaker 4: also something we need to clear up with the people.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Oh my god, So I took Scotty to Solid corep
- 1:37Speaker 4: last week, as you may have heard, And this isn't
- 1:40Speaker 4: embarrassing for you, it's embarrassing for me.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Okay, you know.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I'm about to tell you. So I take Scotty to
- 1:45Speaker 1: Solid Corps.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Solid Core is the workout that I do a couple
- 1:48Speaker 4: times a week, and with my membership, I get to
- 1:50Speaker 4: bring a buddy once or twice a month, I think.
- 1:52Speaker 4: And so we have these meetings on Wednesdays that are
- 1:55Speaker 4: every other week. So I said, Scotty, we don't have
- 1:57Speaker 4: a meeting this week, let's go do solid Core together.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So he comes to he does solid Core with me.
- 2:02Speaker 4: And there's this really funny trend on TikTok where people
- 2:04Speaker 4: will take a photo of their male friends or their
- 2:07Speaker 4: boyfriends before they go to solid core because they're like, oh,
- 2:10Speaker 4: look how happy he looks.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And then they leave it they're like, oh my god,
- 2:13Speaker 1: that was horrible.
- 2:13Speaker 4: I was sore for a legit four days. No, it's
- 2:16Speaker 4: literally so hard, Oh my god. So anyway, take him
- 2:18Speaker 4: a solid Core and I was like, I want to
- 2:19Speaker 4: do this trend. So I take a photo of Scotty
- 2:21Speaker 4: on the Reformer and I then used a very funny
- 2:24Speaker 4: caption that most people my age are aware is.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Funny in a specific way. And the caption is.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Baby's first Solid Core, but it's like baby's first Christmas
- 2:35Speaker 4: baby's first Easter. Everyone thought I was calling you baby
- 2:38Speaker 4: in the romantic sense, because then all my dms and
- 2:41Speaker 4: comments after that were oh my god, like I don't
- 2:43Speaker 4: know if you see it, yep, like you and Scottie
- 2:45Speaker 4: are like I had such great chemistry. I just really
- 2:48Speaker 4: think you and Scotty should date. Like I'm calling it now,
- 2:50Speaker 4: you guys, you guys have it because of this baby,
- 2:54Speaker 4: because I called you baby.
- 2:55Speaker 1: But I was calling you like a literal baby.
- 2:56Speaker 2: That's little somebody one on my DMS and they're like,
- 2:58Speaker 2: all right, just let me know. Are you guys a thing?
- 3:02Speaker 4: And I'm like, can we just set the record straight.
- 3:06Speaker 1: We are not dating.
- 3:07Speaker 2: We're dating, all right, way we're fucking.
- 3:12Speaker 1: We're not dating, but we are fucking.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I knew this was gonna happen, though, because I was
- 3:17Speaker 2: telling my roommate about this. I was like, dude, look
- 3:19Speaker 2: at my dms. It's one after another, Like I see chemistry.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You guys get along so well, I see a thing here,
- 3:25Speaker 2: and I'm like, this is bound to happen. As two
- 3:27Speaker 2: people that are single and straight come into a studio
- 3:30Speaker 2: together to do a show.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Well, I guess I get it to an extent because
- 3:33Speaker 4: on my last show, and maybe we should take this
- 3:35Speaker 4: as a compliment because it's like, oh, well they have chemistry,
- 3:37Speaker 4: and it's like we're doing our jobs right. But on
- 3:40Speaker 4: my last show that I was on The Burt Show,
- 3:41Speaker 4: which was this morning show that had Bert as the
- 3:44Speaker 4: host and then Kristin was the other one of the
- 3:47Speaker 4: other co hosts, and they're around a similar age. But
- 3:49Speaker 4: everyone always would make inferences that Bert had a crush
- 3:52Speaker 4: on Kristin, oh, because she was married and he was
- 3:56Speaker 4: in and out of different relationships, and so I think
- 3:58Speaker 4: people always thought there was something because how could there
- 4:01Speaker 4: not be. But I'm like, that's literally Mamma, Papa, that's
- 4:05Speaker 4: literally my platonic parents.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I do love that in radio world, though, because if
- 4:09Speaker 2: you've listened to different radio shows, like I like that chemistry,
- 4:11Speaker 2: Like I grew up listening to the Bobby Bone Show. Yeah,
- 4:13Speaker 2: and so it was always like I would listen to
- 4:15Speaker 2: like Bobby and Amy and I'd be like, oh my God,
- 4:17Speaker 2: like is there and there's never but they would always
- 4:20Speaker 2: have to address it, like every couple of months. It'd
- 4:21Speaker 2: be like, ah no, but.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I see them, and I don't think I don't look
- 4:26Speaker 4: at Amy and Bobby from the Bobby Bone Show and go,
- 4:27Speaker 4: oh they should date. Like to me, they're on two
- 4:30Speaker 4: separate wavelengths, do you know what I mean?
- 4:32Speaker 1: Like it never even crossed my mind with those two.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Are we on similar wavelengths? I don't think we're on
- 4:37Speaker 2: sale like I think when everyone's asking like are we dating?
- 4:40Speaker 2: I don't think we literally want this, Like what I
- 4:43Speaker 2: bring is not something you would want.
- 4:44Speaker 4: And I think the same for me, Like I see
- 4:46Speaker 4: you the lady no no.
- 4:47Speaker 2: But but I'm thinking of the comment you made to
- 4:49Speaker 2: this weekend. What did I What did I say?
- 4:51Speaker 3: I don't know if we're going well because like I
- 4:54Speaker 3: like spice.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Oh, because I made like a very hyperbolic joke where
- 4:58Speaker 4: it's like I need a guy who who looks who's
- 5:00Speaker 4: a little angry, Like I need someone with a little
- 5:04Speaker 4: bit of like darkness in them. I don't, And you're
- 5:06Speaker 4: just so You're just so nice.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And I look at we're at the person I'm next seeing,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and I was like, that's not me.
- 5:13Speaker 1: You're just so wholesome.
- 5:15Speaker 4: And I just think I need someone who's a little
- 5:17Speaker 4: bit rough around the edges like me. But I don't
- 5:19Speaker 4: mean that in like a negative weight like I I
- 5:21Speaker 4: wish I was more like you like I would probably
- 5:24Speaker 4: be a happier person if I was more like you
- 5:26Speaker 4: like I think, I think there's something wrong with me
- 5:29Speaker 4: that makes me a little rough around the edges that
- 5:31Speaker 4: I would probably be a happier human in general if
- 5:33Speaker 4: I didn't have that part. But I think because of that,
- 5:36Speaker 4: I feel like I need to find that in somebody
- 5:39Speaker 4: else as well to where we understand that about each other.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yes, I think because you have a very fun, unique
- 5:46Speaker 2: style of humor.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It's a very dark sense of humor.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yes, yes that Obviously we've already been in different conversations
- 5:53Speaker 2: about different people in the building that they don't understand.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Like people aren't used to it, especially now that we're
- 5:57Speaker 2: paired up together. People are so used to my that
- 6:00Speaker 2: your style comes off and they're like.
- 6:02Speaker 4: What the hell, especially for the type of music we play,
- 6:05Speaker 4: because for context, we're on a radio show that plays
- 6:08Speaker 4: what are we considered hot A See hot ac.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Is like the Mommy and Me. I guess, like cool
- 6:12Speaker 1: mommy and me.
- 6:13Speaker 2: This one's really cool because it's like we'll play Chapel Roane,
- 6:15Speaker 2: but we'll also play that Brittany we'll play Benson Boone,
- 6:18Speaker 2: but we'll also throw it back to TLC. So it's
- 6:20Speaker 2: a great blend upbeat pop. It's fun, it's very bright.
- 6:24Speaker 2: It was actually perfect. When I came over here, I
- 6:25Speaker 2: was like, oh good, this is right in the line
- 6:27Speaker 2: with who I Am. Yes, and here comes Abby.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So I love this playlist.
- 6:30Speaker 4: But I don't think this type of radio is used
- 6:33Speaker 4: to having people with And it's so funny that, like,
- 6:35Speaker 4: I've grown up to be this edgy person because like
- 6:37Speaker 4: I was the youth group kid growing up, Like I
- 6:39Speaker 4: was the goodie two shoes growing up, and.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Now I hear I'm like, I'm so edgy and not
- 6:42Speaker 1: have this dark humor. I'm so cool, thin and cuzy.
- 6:45Speaker 4: But hot AC is not typically the dark humor station,
- 6:50Speaker 4: and so maybe that's also catching people off guard.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I don't know, But you know what I think is
- 6:53Speaker 2: I think a lot of people appreciate that because it
- 6:55Speaker 2: gotta have two sides to a coin. Like if everybody
- 6:57Speaker 2: was just like, oh my god, Scott is just this
- 7:00Speaker 2: ray of sunshine, I don't think I think people would
- 7:02Speaker 2: get annoyed. I honestly thought that in the beginning. I
- 7:03Speaker 2: was like, I need to have different dimensions, and so
- 7:06Speaker 2: I was telling people on the other station we were
- 7:09Speaker 2: in this whole thing, and they're like, she's not like you.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I'm like, why would she be. That'd be so ridiculous, it.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Would be insufferable.
- 7:16Speaker 4: It's like I was making this analogy to someone because
- 7:19Speaker 4: I love this comment that somebody made.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So if you're listening and you made this comment, shout
- 7:23Speaker 1: out to you.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I love you.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Great.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Somebody said I'm gonna start calling you guys sugar and.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Spice that that's a good one.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Sugar and spice and everything nice because just because you
- 7:29Speaker 4: have a little bit of spices mean you're not nice.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Absolutely, because I think you're extremely nice. And I think
- 7:32Speaker 2: if people were like, especially who you're getting to know,
- 7:35Speaker 2: and they hear that dark humor, like you have to
- 7:37Speaker 2: learn it, you have to understand it, and you have
- 7:39Speaker 2: to flow with it. That's what I'm well, Now I
- 7:41Speaker 2: get this you every day. Yeah, so that's different. Now
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm like, y'all like, it's hilarious. And that's why the
- 7:45Speaker 2: person I was seeing over the weekend we got back
- 7:48Speaker 2: together and we're like, she's told me how funny you
- 7:51Speaker 2: are and how funny your humor is. And I think
- 7:53Speaker 2: people get that when they spend a little bit of
- 7:55Speaker 2: time with you. It's like, holy crap, she's hilarious.
- 7:57Speaker 4: It's a language you have to learn to speak, just
- 7:59Speaker 4: like your spinel, see, so you can understand some more
- 8:03Speaker 4: references for your lady as well.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I think I love that too.
- 8:06Speaker 4: So anyway, Yeah, it's like sugar and spice, and I
- 8:10Speaker 4: think it's it's like me and you were baking a cake,
- 8:12Speaker 4: that's right, and you have been baking this cake, not
- 8:15Speaker 4: a little bit just baking. We're baking this cake and
- 8:18Speaker 4: I think you're adding a lot of sugar, and I
- 8:22Speaker 4: think maybe i'd tasted the cake and I was like, ooh,
- 8:24Speaker 4: we should add some clothes in here. That's right, and
- 8:26Speaker 4: together the cake was good on its own, but now
- 8:28Speaker 4: the cake has a little bit more.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Balance.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a piece of chocolate that has salt
- 8:35Speaker 2: on it.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that stuff's so good.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Okay, when you talk about like a rough man, though,
- 8:39Speaker 2: you want like, have you seen those videos of the
- 8:41Speaker 2: guy that like he's out in the woods.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I'm sure you've had to see this and he chops wood.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Oh so yeah, it's literally his entire his entire feed.
- 8:50Speaker 2: He's like a burly man, and they're like, he goes
- 8:52Speaker 2: and chops wood and I think he does it like
- 8:54Speaker 2: shirtless sometimes and he just gets super sweaty.
- 8:56Speaker 3: And his name is Ladies love it.
- 8:58Speaker 1: His name is literally thor two.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Do you think that's real?
- 9:01Speaker 1: No, that's literally his name. His name cannot be thorn No,
- 9:03Speaker 1: because I know a thor and so I'm like, oh.
- 9:05Speaker 2: There's an actual thor Now that's not just a superhero.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yeah. Because you think it's short for something like Thornberry,
- 9:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 9:11Speaker 1: It's short for Nigel Thornberry.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Is that the kind of rough you're talking.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I think that's probably internally what I think I would like.
- 9:18Speaker 4: But no, I need someone. And I say this all
- 9:20Speaker 4: the time. People are like, what's your type? What's your type?
- 9:21Speaker 4: And I'm like Jack Ryan John Krazinski, Yeah, like the
- 9:26Speaker 4: nice guy who just happens to be really hot.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You know what random movie I was gonna put on
- 9:30Speaker 2: yesterday and I'm curious on Well, obviously you've definitely seen it.
- 9:33Speaker 2: But I remember watching for the first time Fifty Shades
- 9:36Speaker 2: of Gray. Oh, and I was like, I didn't appreciate
- 9:39Speaker 2: it as a teenager because I was just getting out
- 9:41Speaker 2: of high school, and I think we went as like
- 9:43Speaker 2: a couple to go watch it.
- 9:44Speaker 4: You are a male teenager didn't appreciate Fifty Shades of Gray.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I mean I appreciated, but I didn't appreciate for what
- 9:50Speaker 2: it meant.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It's actually it's a really good film.
- 9:53Speaker 2: That's why I wanted to. Actually, last night I was like,
- 9:55Speaker 2: I ordered myself some Thai food and I was like, cause,
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm watching my dog right now. My we still have
- 10:00Speaker 2: a great relationship and she's out of town, so I'm
- 10:02Speaker 2: watching our dog. And I was like, you know what,
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna put on a movie I'm looking through. I
- 10:06Speaker 2: was like, I think I could really gain a lot
- 10:08Speaker 2: of good experience.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Well, were you trying to learn and gain from Fifty
- 10:14Speaker 4: Shades of Furry Scott?
- 10:15Speaker 2: Well, okay, I did not get far into the film
- 10:17Speaker 2: before I was like, I cannot dive into this. It's
- 10:19Speaker 2: too late. I'm gonna get myself too proud. Up.
- 10:21Speaker 4: You're a ladies listening to this being like you couldn't
- 10:24Speaker 4: have put this on.
- 10:25Speaker 1: While I was there?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Well, I might have to save it because I wanted
- 10:29Speaker 2: to see. As the film starts, it's this very normal
- 10:32Speaker 2: business man who is elegant. It literally starts with him
- 10:37Speaker 2: picking out the right tie and everything's very pristine and
- 10:39Speaker 2: put out, and I'm like, I like this. So it's
- 10:42Speaker 2: this guy that's very put together. And obviously I know
- 10:44Speaker 2: how the film goes. I know he's a he's a freak.
- 10:47Speaker 2: He knows how to get it.
- 10:48Speaker 4: It's American Psycho. But if instead of murdering people, he
- 10:50Speaker 4: was murdering up puzzy.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Why people can't believe we have a podcast?
- 10:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, they're like, they're allowed to put this
- 10:58Speaker 4: out on the Magic ninety FOURT nine brand. Also side note,
- 11:01Speaker 4: and I know we're on like several tangents, So I'm
- 11:02Speaker 4: really sorry you guys.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But we got a.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Message last week from management and they're like, oh, corporate
- 11:07Speaker 4: really wants to take over the podcast. They're like why,
- 11:09Speaker 4: They're like why is this not under the CMG name?
- 11:11Speaker 4: And I was like, funny, oh boy, I really hope
- 11:13Speaker 4: they're not listening. And I really hope they're not either.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I think they just know that we have it and
- 11:17Speaker 4: they're like, oh, that's so nice. They're putting out a
- 11:18Speaker 4: cute little podcast.
- 11:19Speaker 2: They're probably talking about the latest albums from Taylor Swift
- 11:22Speaker 2: and Bruno Mars.
- 11:24Speaker 3: That's fifty shades.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Great anyway, So you're watching.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Shades and I'm learning so much from this dude in
- 11:28Speaker 2: the first five minutes. It's his demeanor, it's his look.
- 11:31Speaker 2: But he's like this very normal, plain ass looking dude.
- 11:34Speaker 2: In my opinion, I don't know if like when you
- 11:36Speaker 2: watch it, you're like that, guys, oh.
- 11:38Speaker 3: My god, there it is.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I know, Okay, put a pin in that.
- 11:42Speaker 2: But now I want to study the film for that
- 11:44Speaker 2: perspective because I think that's the kind where are we
- 11:47Speaker 2: going the rough side that I understand of.
- 11:51Speaker 3: You look so put together, huh.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Everyone looks at you as the sweet man, and then
- 11:58Speaker 2: you got this.
- 11:59Speaker 3: This mom through socking.
- 12:01Speaker 4: I vocalize this literally to your face at tub club,
- 12:04Speaker 4: in front of you and your lady. And this is
- 12:05Speaker 4: what I meant when I looked at her and I said,
- 12:08Speaker 4: I feel like Scott has a little freaking them, I
- 12:10Speaker 4: was like, I feel like Scott's a little freaky. We
- 12:13Speaker 4: discussed this, We literally had this conversation.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I will say, a lot of people, oh boy, you
- 12:18Speaker 2: know what, I don't care. A lot of people think
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm vanilla because I'm very bright and I'm very positive, No.
- 12:23Speaker 4: I got the I since my freak dar went off,
- 12:26Speaker 4: I was like, I think Scott's probably a little freaky.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I would say you're a very smart person.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I wouldn't say I'm not gonna go out here and
- 12:32Speaker 2: list all my things, but I would say I'm not
- 12:35Speaker 2: as vanilla as I think people think I come across.
- 12:37Speaker 4: This is so the fact that you turn on fifty
- 12:39Speaker 4: shades so you could take some notes. I feel like
- 12:41Speaker 4: I should give you some books that the women love
- 12:43Speaker 4: to read.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I honestly, as somebody that is always looking to be better.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Uh huh, I would.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Gladly if you're listening in your book top girly, please
- 12:53Speaker 4: dm me at the Abby Murphy if you were gonna
- 12:55Speaker 4: give Scott one, two, three smutty books to read that
- 13:00Speaker 4: you think are like the blueprint, because now I'm drawing
- 13:02Speaker 4: a blank because like, oh god, I.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Don't even know what I'm getting.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah, give me like three and I'll pick the one
- 13:06Speaker 2: and I'll see, like it needs to be something that
- 13:09Speaker 2: is realistic, because I've heard some that are like yes,
- 13:11Speaker 2: and he took his tail and he.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Oh my god, I'm gonna make you read ice Plane
- 13:15Speaker 4: at Barbarians.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I don't have a tail, so I don't know how
- 13:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna make those things work. But I always am
- 13:21Speaker 2: curious because there are certain things that you don't come
- 13:23Speaker 2: across until you come across them. There are certain things
- 13:25Speaker 2: you know once you actually experience them. That is where
- 13:28Speaker 2: my mind goes. So as I'm studying fifty shades of Gray,
- 13:32Speaker 2: those are the kinds of notes that I'm like, hmm,
- 13:35Speaker 2: I wonder if that would fly.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I'm curious, what notes did you take while you were watching?
- 13:39Speaker 2: I did not get far yet. I am going to
- 13:41Speaker 2: watch it today and honestly I am going to watch it.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You know what another one is?
- 13:44Speaker 3: And I didn't.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I didn't say this on the show, and I didn't
- 13:47Speaker 2: say this on social but I was watching Weather in
- 13:49Speaker 2: Heights but I never finished it. I only got to
- 13:52Speaker 2: like the middle point. It was actually pretty steaming. There's
- 13:54Speaker 2: parts that he did that I was like that, and
- 13:57Speaker 2: I'll say what I hear a lot of women's that
- 13:59Speaker 2: was hot, but he.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Only women say that was well, what parts did you think?
- 14:03Speaker 2: We don't make acknowledge it Like a lot of dudes
- 14:04Speaker 2: are like we knew that, but I was like no, no, no,
- 14:07Speaker 2: taking note what part well, oh no, I can't tell.
- 14:12Speaker 4: I'll tell you what part I thought was super fucking hot.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Go ahead, So there's mom Tramp the podcast. Oh no,
- 14:22Speaker 4: nobody is.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Talking about this scene.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I feel like everybody is talking about the scene where
- 14:26Speaker 4: he catches her in the wild.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yes, so everyone's talking about that scene.
- 14:31Speaker 4: The scene I think was so ridiculously hot because my
- 14:36Speaker 4: what I think is really spicy. What I love reading
- 14:38Speaker 4: about is like tension. And so there's a part where
- 14:42Speaker 4: she's in the barn and she's watching, Yes, she's watching
- 14:47Speaker 4: through the floorboards. Yes, okay, I guess there's also a
- 14:49Speaker 4: spoiler word. Oh, spoiler alert for Wuthering Heights. So just
- 14:52Speaker 4: like quick, like a minute ahead, minute, two minutes. So
- 14:56Speaker 4: she's on the floorboard, she's on her stomach, she's watching
- 14:59Speaker 4: the this servant couple get it on through the floorboards.
- 15:03Speaker 4: And then Jacob Alordie's character Heathcliff, is like shirtless and
- 15:08Speaker 4: ripped and literally, god, this is so I can't believe
- 15:11Speaker 4: I'm describe you this.
- 15:13Speaker 1: He literally I can't even get the words out. He literally.
- 15:19Speaker 4: He lays on top of her and he covers her
- 15:23Speaker 4: eyes and her mouth until the couple is done, and
- 15:27Speaker 4: it is just the hottest.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Thing I've ever seen.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Now, What part about it, though, is like so fierce
- 15:34Speaker 3: for you?
- 15:34Speaker 2: Is it the part that it was like I was
- 15:36Speaker 2: gonna say hot, but I don't want to use the
- 15:38Speaker 2: same word of Is it the fact that he was
- 15:41Speaker 2: so like just controlling over the situation, took possession of her.
- 15:45Speaker 1: There's a couple things.
- 15:46Speaker 4: First, you can see his bicep really well in the scene,
- 15:48Speaker 4: which I think women love a bicep.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Women love a bicep.
- 15:52Speaker 4: And then I would probably I need to work this
- 15:56Speaker 4: out with Chatchbytea. Sometimes I need producer gpt to help
- 15:59Speaker 4: me to describe why I think something is the way
- 16:02Speaker 4: that is, like if I need help expressing an emotion,
- 16:04Speaker 4: like why do I.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Feel this way?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Mm?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Can you help me work through this emotion?
- 16:06Speaker 2: Well, I mean he's also yeah, he's like shirtless, he's
- 16:08Speaker 2: laying on top of her. He has her cover, Like.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I think there's something sexy about like there's hang on.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I might need her, Yeah, I know she is, Hey,
- 16:19Speaker 1: mom um, no she's not. Let me think you.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Might need to come back to me because I I
- 16:25Speaker 4: don't know how to articulate it. I might need to
- 16:27Speaker 4: like I might need to think about it more. Why
- 16:29Speaker 4: to rewatch it?
- 16:30Speaker 3: I think I need to actually finish the film.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yea, yeah, because that was one I was like, wow,
- 16:34Speaker 2: it was so it's I think that's the moment, Like
- 16:37Speaker 2: it's for me, It's I only took twenty nine years,
- 16:39Speaker 2: but there are things that are clicking for me that
- 16:41Speaker 2: like women like and women want that a lot of
- 16:43Speaker 2: guys don't understand or we don't put effort into, or
- 16:46Speaker 2: we don't or we're not intentional about. Yeah, those are
- 16:49Speaker 2: things that I'm like, oh, well.
- 16:51Speaker 4: It's not like you know, I'm not like, oh yeah,
- 16:52Speaker 4: I wish I was laying in bed and so I
- 16:54Speaker 4: would cover my eyes in my mouth and my nose
- 16:57Speaker 4: and then I can't read.
- 16:58Speaker 2: No, I don't think it's okay. Actually, here's the summary
- 17:00Speaker 2: of it. I think we're just so rush minded. Men
- 17:03Speaker 2: were like right to motion it get yes, Whereas I've
- 17:08Speaker 2: really learned of like we've talked about it in the
- 17:10Speaker 2: like the build up, the tension, you allowing a moment
- 17:13Speaker 2: to sit, not just rushing through.
- 17:16Speaker 3: That's dope.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Like, I don't know how many dudes listen to this
- 17:18Speaker 2: podcast brother to brother, Do not just be a rabbit yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 2: let things build. Yeah, let things allow the tension, and
- 17:27Speaker 2: you will be so grateful that you do. So.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I think tension is hot. I think tension is hot.
- 17:31Speaker 4: And I think that's just like a very frictiony, tense moment,
- 17:34Speaker 4: like they're not doing anything, but something's happening. Yeah, but
- 17:38Speaker 4: there's like but they can't really do anything about it.
- 17:40Speaker 4: I mean like they're both not like they're not a
- 17:42Speaker 4: romantic thing yet.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yeah, which makes it even better. Yeah, but that's what Okay,
- 17:46Speaker 2: back to one, when I'm watching fifty Shades of Gray,
- 17:48Speaker 2: that's like what I'm looking for. It's like the way
- 17:50Speaker 2: he looks, it's the way he sounds, it's the kind
- 17:52Speaker 2: of things that he says.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Yeah, just sit and you're like, oh damn.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Like as a teenager and I watch that, I'm like, bro, like,
- 17:59Speaker 2: let's go, like what s all these little trinkets for?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Like, come on, like, hold are the drinkets for?
- 18:04Speaker 2: And I say that also because when we're at we
- 18:07Speaker 2: were talking about this off the air, but I want
- 18:09Speaker 2: to apologize because apparently I'm a moaner on this podcast
- 18:12Speaker 2: or on the on the radio.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Before we took this hard right turn, this is what
- 18:16Speaker 4: we were talking about Yeah, how you were embarrassing us
- 18:18Speaker 4: during pilates.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yes, because we're in these like we go to this
- 18:21Speaker 2: tub club thing and we go on to pilates Matt,
- 18:24Speaker 2: and we're holding these positions for like two three minutes.
- 18:28Speaker 2: And I usually go to the gym and I just
- 18:29Speaker 2: I lift, give me a big ass weight and I want.
- 18:32Speaker 3: To lift it. That's what it's working for you, thank you.
- 18:34Speaker 2: But I'm not used to holding a pose for two
- 18:36Speaker 2: minutes and my having my muscles shake. And so when
- 18:39Speaker 2: Abby took me to Solid Core, it's a room full
- 18:41Speaker 2: of majority of woman, there's one other dude, and nobody's
- 18:44Speaker 2: making a noise.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like, no, that's not what you like.
- 18:50Speaker 4: So the whole point of this is, if you go
- 18:53Speaker 4: to Solid cor or any other female dominated, female dominated
- 18:59Speaker 4: workout class memorines shutting off for today is women just
- 19:03Speaker 4: kind of suffer in silence like that. We don't really
- 19:06Speaker 4: like the loud. We're not loud when we work out.
- 19:08Speaker 4: We're not like groaning, we're not guarantee we're not making
- 19:10Speaker 4: a big fuss out of how we're feeling. You might
- 19:12Speaker 4: hear like a like a fuck, like like if something
- 19:14Speaker 4: really hurts I'll get out of a position. I'm like, yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 4: but we're literally in this silent room and all of
- 19:20Speaker 4: a sudden, to my left, Scotty is embarrassing me in
- 19:22Speaker 4: our our seated crunch and he's just like and I'm like,
- 19:31Speaker 4: on top of it, Scotty is not just like a
- 19:33Speaker 4: normal groaner to where like guys do grunt and you
- 19:35Speaker 4: are kind of like, oh, that's sounding vaguely sexual, but
- 19:38Speaker 4: Scotty in general is just a little bit of like
- 19:40Speaker 4: a moner.
- 19:42Speaker 1: So like we'll be just did it.
- 19:45Speaker 4: So when earlier when I said put a pin in it,
- 19:47Speaker 4: that's exhibit A where Scott will like look at me
- 19:50Speaker 4: and I know he's just trying to.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Like make a noise to be like, yes, I'm listening,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and I concur but he'll go I have to listen.
- 20:01Speaker 4: I have to hear that multiple times a day, and
- 20:04Speaker 4: it's making me a little not uncomfortable in the sense
- 20:06Speaker 4: that I'm like, hr, but you do what and I go,
- 20:09Speaker 4: don't do that do where I'm like, I don't think
- 20:11Speaker 4: he understands how sexual it sounds.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I thought it was more of like a response kind
- 20:16Speaker 3: of deal.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And then I was you know, I was told recently
- 20:19Speaker 2: that I'm also a moaner but also a grunter.
- 20:21Speaker 1: You're a moaner and a groaner. Yeah, you're a moaner
- 20:24Speaker 1: and a groaner.
- 20:25Speaker 2: But it's it's so subconscious, so unconscious, like I'm I
- 20:29Speaker 2: don't even I'm gonna do it in this podcast later
- 20:31Speaker 2: right now, right now, I'm very much thinking about it. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:33Speaker 2: but it's going to happen later as we dive into
- 20:35Speaker 2: like the tub club situation.
- 20:37Speaker 3: So if that is something that you hear and you're like,
- 20:39Speaker 3: oh god, Scott, I'm.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Sorry, Thank Scott, I'm so glad you're saying something.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Like everyone, I get it. I get it now.
- 20:45Speaker 3: I've heard it from multiple people.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Now, if it makes you feel any better, well, I mean,
- 20:48Speaker 4: other than the fact that your a lady agreed with me,
- 20:51Speaker 4: no one's DMed me about this, no one's commented on like,
- 20:53Speaker 4: no one else except for me, has made this comment publicly,
- 20:56Speaker 4: except I did voice it to.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Your lady when we were doing plot. I was like,
- 21:00Speaker 1: is it just me? Or is your man's like kind
- 21:03Speaker 1: of a groner And she goes, yes, he is, And
- 21:06Speaker 1: I'm like, he does this all the time, and I'm like,
- 21:08Speaker 1: this sounds so sexual.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean maybe it is. Maybe that's my inner
- 21:11Speaker 2: freak coming out.
- 21:12Speaker 1: It's your fifty shitt's coming out.
- 21:13Speaker 2: That's exactly right. Once I finish this film, I'm gonna
- 21:15Speaker 2: have a whole list of notes.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 2: But we go to tub Club, and, honestly, with how
- 21:19Speaker 2: much build up there has been, I was so anxious
- 21:22Speaker 2: going because I'm thinking people already have friend groups. I'm
- 21:25Speaker 2: thinking people already have their little clicks. How do you
- 21:27Speaker 2: step into a room that has already been established? And
- 21:31Speaker 2: it was so far from that, it's absurd. It was incredible,
- 21:35Speaker 2: And we did it over at Treasure Island, over at
- 21:37Speaker 2: the Caddies. There. We step up and it's like everyone
- 21:40Speaker 2: just lays out their mat and felt like, and I
- 21:41Speaker 2: don't know if you got this vibe, but everybody was new.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Did you see that.
- 21:45Speaker 1: There was a sense of this is everybody's first time.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yes, which I love because everyone has an opportunity to
- 21:51Speaker 2: make a new friend. Yeah, to meet someone new, to
- 21:53Speaker 2: be in that room where you're like, I'm uncomfortable, but
- 21:55Speaker 2: you're uncomfortable too. And so we sit down, we start
- 21:58Speaker 2: setting up our pilates mat and then we go into it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I grunt a whole shit ton of times because it
- 22:02Speaker 2: was extremely hard. I guess everyone's embarrassed around me.
- 22:05Speaker 4: It was also a little bit quieter at the tub
- 22:08Speaker 4: club pilates, and it was at Solid Core, because at
- 22:09Speaker 4: solid Core, I'm like, Okay, it's probably just the people
- 22:11Speaker 4: next to us going, like, guys really vocal, but we're
- 22:14Speaker 4: on a beach, we're doing pilates.
- 22:16Speaker 1: There's no music.
- 22:16Speaker 4: The only thing is the sound of me giggling uncomfortably
- 22:19Speaker 4: because I was so sore from Solid Core the day before.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, you hear Scott go.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Oh.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Luckily, there's like thirty other guys that were doing it too,
- 22:28Speaker 2: and so we're all in the line together and I'm
- 22:30Speaker 2: hearing them as well. I'm like, it's just a dude thing,
- 22:32Speaker 2: like when I'm at the gym. It's straight up grunt session,
- 22:35Speaker 2: like h And then on that line of pilates, all
- 22:39Speaker 2: the other guys next to me were like laughing, not
- 22:41Speaker 2: making fun of the workout, but we're laughing at how
- 22:43Speaker 2: weak and sore we are in these areas. And so
- 22:45Speaker 2: we're also grunting on top of it. And I look
- 22:47Speaker 2: over at you and my lady friend and y'all are
- 22:51Speaker 2: just laughing away at trying to like I'm trying to
- 22:54Speaker 2: do the best I can with what I have. But honestly,
- 22:56Speaker 2: it was incredible, Like I love that. And then the
- 22:59Speaker 2: social side of it happened, and this is where the
- 23:02Speaker 2: last couple podcasts. The mission was to find Luke. Oh yes,
- 23:07Speaker 2: now Luke, I thought. When I sat down for pilates,
- 23:10Speaker 2: I looked it next to Abby and there's Honestly, it
- 23:13Speaker 2: was a good looking dude.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Who was there with his girlfriend.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Okay, well I didn't know that he was. How did
- 23:17Speaker 3: you know?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Because he was sitting next to his girlfriend.
- 23:21Speaker 3: They didn't have a sign that said girlfriend.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Well, why else would a man show up to an
- 23:25Speaker 4: event like this and sit that close to a woman
- 23:27Speaker 4: And it's just them too?
- 23:29Speaker 2: Was it? They?
- 23:29Speaker 3: Well because I and.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Then I also saw them confirmed. I saw them canodling
- 23:32Speaker 4: oh the noodle?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, later but later but I looked over, I was.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Like, oh my god, it's happening. Because he had these
- 23:38Speaker 2: glasses on. He had a good looking face. I was like,
- 23:40Speaker 2: that looks like a Luke.
- 23:42Speaker 4: So anyway, if you don't know who Luke is, Luke
- 23:43Speaker 4: is this imaginary boyfriend. I thought I was going to
- 23:46Speaker 4: meet at tub club. I'm like, I'm meeting my boyfriend
- 23:48Speaker 4: at tup club. And then we gave him a name,
- 23:49Speaker 4: and we're like, we gona name him Luke. We're gonna
- 23:51Speaker 4: find Luke at tup club.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I was about to ask in the middle of everyone,
- 23:54Speaker 2: is there anybody named Luke here? You want to narrow
- 23:57Speaker 2: it down really quick, But once you get done, it's
- 24:00Speaker 2: just a bunch of different vendors in their tents, probably
- 24:03Speaker 2: like twenty different tents, and then just like three hundred
- 24:07Speaker 2: people just vibing out, jumping into these cold plunges, going
- 24:10Speaker 2: out and getting drinks, different drinks like coffees and teas,
- 24:14Speaker 2: and just little groups of people hanging out on the beach.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I absolutely loved it.
- 24:19Speaker 2: For as much as I thought I wouldn't enjoy an
- 24:21Speaker 2: event like this, I thought it was so fun to
- 24:24Speaker 2: be able to see like people out in the wild canoodling.
- 24:27Speaker 2: But there was also something that was very interested at
- 24:29Speaker 2: and you all made note of this is the pull
- 24:31Speaker 2: up bar.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the show boating.
- 24:32Speaker 3: The showboating was ridiculous.
- 24:36Speaker 4: It was showboat Land, USA, So obviously we had a
- 24:39Speaker 4: great time at the event. It's a great way you
- 24:41Speaker 4: can work out on the beach.
- 24:41Speaker 1: That's what we did.
- 24:42Speaker 4: We did the plates class literally on the shores, which
- 24:44Speaker 4: was sick. And then there's a tub club and it's
- 24:46Speaker 4: very social and everybody wants to make new friends.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Let me get that disclaimer out of the way.
- 24:50Speaker 4: The other half was it does feel a little bit
- 24:53Speaker 4: like Peacock City.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Everyone's like a little us.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Looking on me pullups I can do Look, I can
- 24:59Speaker 4: do these pullups upside down.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Yeah, which for it's so funny because in our guy brains,
- 25:05Speaker 2: a lot of us are like, this is how we're
- 25:06Speaker 2: gonna get it, this is how we're gonna find our lady.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Well, I could think, yes, I'm like glad everyone's show voting,
- 25:13Speaker 4: but I also wonder, I'm like, are we think everyone
- 25:15Speaker 4: that showed up is you were the fittest person in
- 25:17Speaker 4: your friend group and you're used to kind of getting
- 25:19Speaker 4: a lot of acknowledgment for being the fittest person in
- 25:20Speaker 4: your friend group. That's a good point, and so it's
- 25:22Speaker 4: all those people showing up being like, look at how
- 25:24Speaker 4: fit I am.
- 25:25Speaker 1: But we're like we're all fit.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Everybody's fit, everybody is fin I'm looking at these dudes,
- 25:29Speaker 2: I'm like, God, blessed. I didn't even know you had
- 25:30Speaker 2: that many apps. I don't know a human anatomy had
- 25:32Speaker 2: that many muscles and how many veins.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I'm like, good lord.
- 25:35Speaker 4: I felt that way about the women too. I'm like,
- 25:37Speaker 4: your bodies are insane. I'm like, what, literally, where are
- 25:40Speaker 4: you guys working out?
- 25:41Speaker 2: So? I did you know? I wanted to see because
- 25:44Speaker 2: I had my lady friend and Abby and they you
- 25:47Speaker 2: all went out for a while and just you know,
- 25:49Speaker 2: what did they call that when ladies like do a
- 25:51Speaker 2: lap around the bar?
- 25:52Speaker 1: We did a lapper on the bar.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Well, this is like a I'm not gonna say a promenade.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, no, we we just we just mosied.
- 26:00Speaker 3: So there's moments that I don't know what happened during
- 26:03Speaker 3: the day.
- 26:03Speaker 4: I mean, we were just doing We weren't doing anything crazy.
- 26:05Speaker 4: We were just kind of wandering around taking stock of
- 26:09Speaker 4: the inventory.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Was there anything that was potentially worth going in the
- 26:14Speaker 2: dagging realm for you? Was there any good connections made?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Was there any numbers exchanged? Instagram's handles like, no, But
- 26:23Speaker 2: I mean, to.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Be fair, I could have been a little bit more social,
- 26:26Speaker 4: But I think in this is my dumb brain and
- 26:29Speaker 4: this is such a gen z thing to do. Is
- 26:32Speaker 4: I saw so many photos getting taken that I thought
- 26:35Speaker 4: one of these guys that I think is hot is
- 26:36Speaker 4: going to get tagged and then I'm going to.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Be able to do a little intel.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Because there was one guy that I thought was really,
- 26:41Speaker 4: really cute and he got tagged in one of the photos,
- 26:44Speaker 4: and so I was like, I'll show you after that.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I mean, if you're here in this podcast, it's probably
- 26:48Speaker 2: not fair.
- 26:49Speaker 4: I'll show you, ok And I was like, oh, let
- 26:51Speaker 4: me see what this guy's all about. He's like twenty three,
- 26:53Speaker 4: and so I'm like, okay, I'm glad I didn't like, Well,
- 26:56Speaker 4: twenty three is okay, way too young for me. I
- 26:58Speaker 4: have the twenty five rule, so if your frontal lobe
- 27:00Speaker 4: is not developed, I can't date you. But honestly, twenty
- 27:03Speaker 4: five is even too young. Twenty twenty seven is probably
- 27:06Speaker 4: blow as I would go twenty six, maybe twenty seven,
- 27:09Speaker 4: twenty six.
- 27:10Speaker 3: I think twenty five is a good line because it gives.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but even twenty five still feels a little too young.
- 27:15Speaker 3: A little bit. That's a but you're still very young,
- 27:18Speaker 3: like you're right in that range.
- 27:19Speaker 4: I'm going to be twenty nine, twenty nine, and that's
- 27:23Speaker 4: just that's like thirty territory. It's not that I'm putting
- 27:26Speaker 4: myself myself in the thirties yet, but you know, this
- 27:28Speaker 4: is my final laugh.
- 27:29Speaker 2: So you see him on Instagram, you still single on
- 27:32Speaker 2: Instagram's cue.
- 27:33Speaker 4: But he looks like he just graduated college and that
- 27:35Speaker 4: no offense, like I'm too old for that.
- 27:37Speaker 2: No, I get that because I wouldn't want that either,
- 27:39Speaker 2: because that's literally just two chapters of life.
- 27:41Speaker 3: That's why you're stepping into a career.
- 27:42Speaker 2: You're figuring out how to do your taxes for the
- 27:44Speaker 2: first time, where to find an actual apartment that's not
- 27:46Speaker 2: for college, and you're over here like I'm well established
- 27:50Speaker 2: in my career. I'm building this life on my own
- 27:52Speaker 2: and I have two cats.
- 27:53Speaker 4: So I'm in grandma territory. So I need a guy
- 27:56Speaker 4: who's like freshly.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Thirty's that would actually be perfect. Were there any that
- 27:59Speaker 2: you met were in that range?
- 28:01Speaker 4: I did talk to one guy who I thought was cute.
- 28:03Speaker 4: He was talking to another girl. Oh yeah, hmm, I'll
- 28:07Speaker 4: show you.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Did you get his name?
- 28:09Speaker 1: Was it Luke? I did? I did get his name.
- 28:11Speaker 1: His name is not.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Luke Dang okay, but it doesn't obviously right out.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was impressed.
- 28:15Speaker 2: There was so I mean, if you're looking for a
- 28:16Speaker 2: tall man, it felt like everybody was freaking tall.
- 28:19Speaker 4: So tall ridiculously ripped. I mean, yeah, insane.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I mean, I met a couple friends, so that was cool.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I had just made a couple of bro friends, brote
- 28:27Speaker 2: out for a little bit, which is nice. I had
- 28:29Speaker 2: a couple of cool moments of hopping in the tub.
- 28:31Speaker 2: You aughtn't hop in the tub, which is fine.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Well, your lady told me something that. Once she said it,
- 28:35Speaker 4: I literally couldn't get out of my head.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Oh.
- 28:37Speaker 4: So she I was like, do I really want to
- 28:39Speaker 4: be cold for the rest of the day, because it
- 28:41Speaker 4: wasn't If it was super hot out, I probably would
- 28:42Speaker 4: have like dumped and then been like fine, because then.
- 28:44Speaker 1: You're gonna be warm in like five minutes.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Yeah, but I was like, it's kind of cold out
- 28:47Speaker 4: right now, get in the cold tub. And then she goes,
- 28:51Speaker 4: I feel like this water at this point is a
- 28:52Speaker 4: uti waiting to happen.
- 28:54Speaker 1: And I looked at her. I was like, girl, you.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Were so right, Oh my god, it could it be. Oh,
- 28:58Speaker 2: this is where I'm not smart enough. Could it be transmitting? No?
- 29:01Speaker 1: No, could it be what?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Like it can't be transmitted like that case.
- 29:05Speaker 4: It's like if there's like a bunch of bacteria in
- 29:06Speaker 4: the water, you know it's not sanitary. Also if you
- 29:09Speaker 4: don't have something to change out of and just sitting
- 29:10Speaker 4: ante and you're just sitting there like all this. In fact,
- 29:12Speaker 4: it's the whole thing.
- 29:13Speaker 3: That's true. It's very different for the ladies in that air.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Like yeah, yeah, you gotta be like the first one
- 29:16Speaker 2: in the tub, Yeah, jump in right away.
- 29:18Speaker 3: But it was getting so social at the end.
- 29:19Speaker 2: It was like groups of twelve going in these little
- 29:21Speaker 2: tubs that are meant for like four, and everyone's popping
- 29:23Speaker 2: in there at the end.
- 29:24Speaker 3: It was super cool. Would you do it again?
- 29:25Speaker 1: I would for sure do it again.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I don't know what the next one is. I thought
- 29:28Speaker 2: it was perfect because it was on the beach like that.
- 29:30Speaker 2: If it could do it at the beach every time, yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Well, also doing it on fourth is it central? What's
- 29:36Speaker 4: the street that everyone goes out on. I think that
- 29:37Speaker 4: would be fun too, like go to tub club and
- 29:39Speaker 4: then go drink afterwards.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Yeah, do a little bar crawl. They should have something. Well, actually,
- 29:43Speaker 2: the whole idea is that it's like sober.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Well I know, but that's why I thought it was
- 29:46Speaker 4: fun at the beach, like be sober for.
- 29:48Speaker 3: A little bit and then you can go to the
- 29:49Speaker 3: beach bar caddies.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Beach bar caddies.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I was also thrilled that it could be social and
- 29:54Speaker 1: I didn't have to have to drink it. Thought that
- 29:55Speaker 1: it was great.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I like going to these things, and I think what
- 29:57Speaker 2: we need to do is the expectation is never to
- 30:00Speaker 2: like find you know, the person that first one, like
- 30:03Speaker 2: you dive your toe in and now I have an
- 30:04Speaker 2: idea what to expect. It's like now I know how
- 30:06Speaker 2: to run the table. It's like, oh, I've seen how
- 30:08Speaker 2: the game's played. Now I know how to play the
- 30:10Speaker 2: game when I go next time.
- 30:11Speaker 4: I love that you said that, because that's how I
- 30:12Speaker 4: felt after we went to run Club.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yes, like now you can show up and you're like,
- 30:16Speaker 2: I know kind of the layout, what it's going to
- 30:18Speaker 2: look like, I know it to expect.
- 30:19Speaker 3: You might know. Even some people speaking of.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Where's run Club this week?
- 30:22Speaker 4: Which I can't go to because I have solid CORDYPM
- 30:24Speaker 4: that you can't go cause I'm getting botox on Tuesday.
- 30:27Speaker 2: But we could check out a new run club. So
- 30:29Speaker 2: this is what I was talking to me about it.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I was like, what is going to be next? Because
- 30:31Speaker 2: we've done mfers that don't run, so that was the
- 30:34Speaker 2: first run club that we did together.
- 30:35Speaker 1: We could go to the Saint Pete one.
- 30:36Speaker 2: We could go to Panel's County Panella's Run Club, Panel's
- 30:40Speaker 2: run Club.
- 30:40Speaker 4: But also the mfers I don't run has a new
- 30:43Speaker 4: one at Saint Pete. It looks really fun, won't The
- 30:45Speaker 4: one they had last week looked really fun. I kind
- 30:47Speaker 4: of had fomo, where was it is that? Welcome to
- 30:48Speaker 4: the farm?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really fun.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Well, there's a bunch that we did. There's this thing
- 30:53Speaker 2: called Friday Stairs that they do in Tampa two. So
- 30:55Speaker 2: every Friday a ton of people go out and run
- 30:57Speaker 2: the stairs over at the Tampa Convention Center.
- 31:00Speaker 1: So true.
- 31:00Speaker 2: So that looks sweet because then they did a social
- 31:02Speaker 2: leader that night that my buddy went to. I like
- 31:04Speaker 2: a sauna and cold plunch place.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Fun.
- 31:06Speaker 2: So all these opportunities. But now that you have a layout,
- 31:09Speaker 2: you could hit it up. And that's where we're gonna
- 31:12Speaker 2: find him. So that's where it actually happens.
- 31:14Speaker 4: So the Saint Pete one hasn't posted what they're doing
- 31:16Speaker 4: this weekend, and then the one for Tampa is at
- 31:21Speaker 4: Oxford Exchange.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Okay, so where we told Marion Morris to go.
- 31:24Speaker 2: That's right, she's gonna show up. Well, I think everything
- 31:27Speaker 2: was a success. I would say the weekend was an
- 31:29Speaker 2: absolute blast. I went out to the I was telling Abbey,
- 31:32Speaker 2: like the Sugar Sand Festival, which was so random. We
- 31:35Speaker 2: ended up getting handed VIP at the very last minute.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I was gonna buy it. I was telling Abbey. I
- 31:40Speaker 2: was like, because I was taking a girl on a
- 31:41Speaker 2: date and I wanted to like ball out. I was like,
- 31:43Speaker 2: not just a girl, your lady. Okay, yes lady. And
- 31:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to do things where I think old Scott
- 31:49Speaker 2: was not. He wasn't a good planner, he wasn't very
- 31:51Speaker 2: good at being intentional, he wasn't good at listening. And
- 31:55Speaker 2: so now it's like the evolved version. Every time I'm
- 31:57Speaker 2: trying to learn a little bit something new. I also
- 31:59Speaker 2: learned that and this might not be true for all ladies,
- 32:01Speaker 2: but you know, you're always planning, You're always doing all
- 32:04Speaker 2: the things I like to listen. Allow the person just
- 32:06Speaker 2: to do nothing, let me take care, let me do
- 32:09Speaker 2: the planning, let me take you out so you could
- 32:11Speaker 2: just enjoy. And we went out and we went to
- 32:14Speaker 2: the Sugar Sand Festival. I was gonna plan on doing
- 32:16Speaker 2: dinner afterwards, and I had an idea for the end
- 32:18Speaker 2: of the night. And we get there and we meet
- 32:20Speaker 2: these people immediately, and all of a sudden, the night
- 32:22Speaker 2: takes the turn for the best.
- 32:23Speaker 3: They start talking to us and.
- 32:24Speaker 2: They're like, oh my god, you guys, do you work
- 32:25Speaker 2: with Alexia And we're like, yes, I do, so they
- 32:29Speaker 2: know who we are, and we get into this great
- 32:32Speaker 2: conversation about all the events we need to do as
- 32:34Speaker 2: the show, and they go, you know what, We'll put
- 32:36Speaker 2: you on the.
- 32:37Speaker 3: List for VIP.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I'm all right, I had no idea what VIP was
- 32:40Speaker 2: geting involved, but we got drink tickets, a free dinner,
- 32:43Speaker 2: and so we take a turn out of the Sugar
- 32:45Speaker 2: Sand Festival, which was incredible, by the way, and there's
- 32:48Speaker 2: this duo playing music and they're like the most fun
- 32:52Speaker 2: duo I've ever seen. You've seen bands, and you've seen
- 32:55Speaker 2: live music, but they had this dude that was playing
- 32:57Speaker 2: the saxophone like on.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Tables, making all the different ladies dance.
- 33:01Speaker 2: They were playing all the good songs like Uptown Funk
- 33:04Speaker 2: and Treasure and all these different things that we listen
- 33:06Speaker 2: to and play on the show. And so we're having
- 33:08Speaker 2: our little drink of rose, we're having dinner, we're dancing,
- 33:11Speaker 2: and it's gorgeous because it's right there on Clearwater Beach.
- 33:14Speaker 2: The sunset's going down. I'm a good planner. I couldn't
- 33:17Speaker 2: plan any of this. The saxophone player comes over to us,
- 33:20Speaker 2: starts playing in front of us. We're like just entertangled.
- 33:23Speaker 2: All eyes are on us, as like the couple at
- 33:27Speaker 2: this place. I'm very curious on what's gonna happen next
- 33:30Speaker 2: because they were taking pictures of us too.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Oh you think someone's gonna hard launch you.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I think so.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I think somebody's I think one of these pictures because
- 33:39Speaker 2: they had the big ass camera where it's like, oh
- 33:41Speaker 2: that that's like a Tampa Bay Times camera, Like, Oh,
- 33:43Speaker 2: that's going to be something.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Time.
- 33:46Speaker 2: I wouldn't doubt it, though.
- 33:47Speaker 4: No, you're probably gonna be an on like a photo
- 33:50Speaker 4: album on Facebook.
- 33:51Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I think probably something bigger because based off of the
- 33:56Speaker 2: look and based off of what we were doing. We
- 33:58Speaker 2: weren't like smooching or anything, but we were having the
- 34:01Speaker 2: time of our lives. We were young and vibrant. I'm like,
- 34:03Speaker 2: I looked over at her, I'm like, they're going to
- 34:05Speaker 2: use that photo for something.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Don't you think that you would have seen it posted
- 34:08Speaker 1: by now?
- 34:09Speaker 3: I haven't looked, and I'm sure, Oh, let's look.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I'm sure there is going to be something on the
- 34:15Speaker 2: Peer sixty Sugar Sand Festival. I'm almost positive that they're
- 34:19Speaker 2: going to post something Peer sixty, Peer sixty Sugar Sand Festival.
- 34:23Speaker 2: This is like I was blown away at the event.
- 34:26Speaker 2: But we had such a good time and the plan
- 34:29Speaker 2: was we wanted to walk the pier and then I
- 34:31Speaker 2: was going to surprise her with an activity at the
- 34:33Speaker 2: end of the night.
- 34:34Speaker 3: So did they post anything yet?
- 34:36Speaker 4: No, I'm just laughing at you surprising her with an
- 34:39Speaker 4: activity at the.
- 34:39Speaker 1: It was a great activity, again, was the activity, Scott.
- 34:42Speaker 2: So we walked down and I planned it to open
- 34:44Speaker 2: perfectly for karaoke.
- 34:47Speaker 3: We've talked about.
- 34:47Speaker 2: It so many times and so I was like, all right.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Let me find the place that's close by. I looked.
- 34:53Speaker 2: You know, I'm not tooting my own horn, but I
- 34:56Speaker 2: am giving myself a pad on the back. Because I
- 34:59Speaker 2: did research. I was like looking at different like restaurants, bars, timing.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I like found the instagram. I found the time. I
- 35:05Speaker 2: was like perfect.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I went on Yelp.
- 35:09Speaker 2: And then nine pm Saturday, Hurricane Eddies does karaoke. So
- 35:12Speaker 2: I pull it up.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I'm like, just follow me Night in Shining Armor.
- 35:16Speaker 4: You're not the Knight in Shining Armor. You're the Knight
- 35:19Speaker 4: in a gray suit. That's mister Gray.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Come on too early for all that.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I have to know what did you order off of Amazon?
- 35:26Speaker 1: After watching?
- 35:28Speaker 2: I got it can't reveal. There's some things that will
- 35:31Speaker 2: have to be at later podcasts. And let me finish
- 35:33Speaker 2: the film, because once I do, I'm sure I'll have
- 35:35Speaker 2: a whole list of ideas.
- 35:36Speaker 1: You're gonna getrough the whole series.
- 35:37Speaker 2: All right, Oh that's so true. I only watched them.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Oh this is gonna be fun. But we get into
- 35:41Speaker 2: this karaoke bar and I'm like, I'm trying to be
- 35:43Speaker 2: a baller. So I go introduce myself to the karaoke guy,
- 35:46Speaker 2: the guy in charge of it. So him and I
- 35:47Speaker 2: have this great rapport going. I grab our slips I'm
- 35:50Speaker 2: bringing over, and the night just it goes like a
- 35:53Speaker 2: freaking movie. I get called second and so I go
- 35:56Speaker 2: when I sing, I'm very corny. I will call myself
- 35:59Speaker 2: out for all the corn things I do. I did
- 36:02Speaker 2: Brown Eyed Girl, the song she.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Has blue eyes?
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah, bright blue.
- 36:08Speaker 1: And she's like, who is she who has blue eyes?
- 36:12Speaker 1: That I know?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Abby singing about the mine?
- 36:15Speaker 1: They really are dating.
- 36:19Speaker 2: So I'm singing and I get the whole bar singing
- 36:22Speaker 2: with me. All these different people come dancing in front
- 36:24Speaker 2: of the stage with me, so it's this whole moment.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I'm pointing over at the bar. I'm like singing to her.
- 36:29Speaker 2: It's so fun, it's stupid. She does her song, same deal,
- 36:33Speaker 2: Like we're both entertaining in that factor where I'm like,
- 36:36Speaker 2: I wanted to hear a sing I wanted to have
- 36:37Speaker 2: a night like this, and I'm just blown away sitting
- 36:39Speaker 2: back there. She comes back, we're dancing by the bar.
- 36:42Speaker 2: We ended up doing a song together. What song again?
- 36:46Speaker 4: You'll be.
- 36:49Speaker 2: What we did?
- 36:51Speaker 3: Stop Summer by Grease.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Oh that's cute, that's so that's so high school musical
- 36:56Speaker 1: of you two.
- 36:56Speaker 3: It was so cool.
- 36:57Speaker 2: And people were singing with us, people at the and
- 37:00Speaker 2: we're like, there's no way that was your first time
- 37:02Speaker 2: doing it together. I was like no, actually, legitimately, like
- 37:05Speaker 2: we've never even done this together. We haven't staying in
- 37:07Speaker 2: front of each other, nothing like that. But the night
- 37:09Speaker 2: it couldn't have gone any from parking to VIP to
- 37:12Speaker 2: karaoke to.
- 37:13Speaker 4: Like, I mean, if you were watching fifty Shades on Sunday,
- 37:16Speaker 4: I do know how it could get better.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Gotta finish the film, Okay, gotta finish the film again.
- 37:21Speaker 3: You left karaoke, We left karaoke, We went.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And grabbed one more drink over at this bar called
- 37:25Speaker 2: Coco's Crush, and then we just made our way home
- 37:28Speaker 2: and it was like the cherry on top boop.
- 37:32Speaker 1: And wow, it's so nice hearing about your love life.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Stop. For those of you who can't see Scott's telling
- 37:41Speaker 4: me all of this, I'm like, oh, I'm genuinely happy
- 37:43Speaker 4: for you.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm like, wow, that's so great.
- 37:45Speaker 4: I'm sitting over here, I've ripped up my bush gardens
- 37:48Speaker 4: and we'll open to a tiny pile of paper, just
- 37:51Speaker 4: like furiously tearing at this sheet of paper like I did.
- 37:54Speaker 2: To clean that up the other week when we left,
- 37:56Speaker 2: I was like, what is all this ripped up paper?
- 37:57Speaker 2: Is that your anxious rip? Yeah?
- 37:59Speaker 3: I think it's like you're angry.
