- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry Katy and Josh one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's in here in the studio for about the past
- 0:06Speaker 2: ten minutes or so, just kind of catching up about
- 0:08Speaker 2: our weekends. A lot of boobtube watching, I'll tell you
- 0:11Speaker 2: that much. Oh yeah, did you catch the movies this weekend?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Did?
- 0:14Speaker 4: I wasn't feeling all that great, so, like, my whole
- 0:17Speaker 4: weekend was spent on the couch and I just watched
- 0:21Speaker 4: one movie after another. It's funny when you start seeing
- 0:24Speaker 4: movies that were from like the nineties and earlier. Immediately unlike,
- 0:29Speaker 4: these people aren't going to be distracted by cell phones
- 0:31Speaker 4: in this movie. I love it already, like so I
- 0:33Speaker 4: kind of gravitate towards those so already. This weekend I
- 0:37Speaker 4: watched Muriel's Wedding and Fried Green Tomatoes, which I hadn't
- 0:41Speaker 4: never I know, I was no, no, no, that's uh Jessica, Jessica,
- 0:48Speaker 4: Candy's in it. You've got Kathy Bates in it, a
- 0:52Speaker 4: lot of you know, I Mary Masterson or something. There's
- 0:56Speaker 4: a lot of people doing that, a lot of very
- 0:59Speaker 4: famous on Fried Green Tomatoes, but also Muriel's Wedding that
- 1:03Speaker 4: is such an underrated like so here was that on
- 1:06Speaker 4: the Wall That was nineties as well, but definitely just
- 1:10Speaker 4: one I'd never seen.
- 1:11Speaker 5: So I'm like, why not.
- 1:12Speaker 4: We're sitting here, we're not feeling well. Laughter is the
- 1:15Speaker 4: best medicine. Might as well make it happen.
- 1:17Speaker 6: Right, Hey, I can't, I can't poke fun at all?
- 1:19Speaker 6: Family movie.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Right Friday night, we went back to We got in
- 1:22Speaker 2: the Dolorean, went back to nineteen ninety five See and
- 1:25Speaker 2: watched While you were Sleeping with a sweet little Sandra
- 1:28Speaker 2: Bullock and Phil Pullman and that guy with the really
- 1:31Speaker 2: big eyebrows.
- 1:33Speaker 6: It was. It was a it was a good movie.
- 1:36Speaker 6: It's cute, a cute factor of like, you know eight
- 1:39Speaker 6: point zero.
- 1:40Speaker 7: I love the Italian dude that falls in love with
- 1:42Speaker 7: her in that and that lives in her apartment and he's.
- 1:44Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, yeah, you want to go on a couple
- 1:46Speaker 6: of dates with me that he's trying. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:51Speaker 6: a good movie.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Nick Knack picked it her and my daughter wanted a
- 1:54Speaker 2: rom com for the evening, so trying to find one
- 1:57Speaker 2: that's you know, rated PG that my daughter can watch.
- 2:02Speaker 2: That's when they settled on and it was pretty tame,
- 2:05Speaker 2: except there's you know, the conversation and they're about having
- 2:07Speaker 2: one testicle.
- 2:08Speaker 6: But other than that, oh, I forgot about it. Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 6: that's right.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Maybe a hard conversation to have with a young child.
- 2:13Speaker 6: She just got done with the growing and changing. She
- 2:15Speaker 6: knows the bits and pieces she's.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Gonna learn today, that's all.
- 2:18Speaker 6: But you're right, I like watching those movies from the nineties,
- 2:21Speaker 6: and that's.
- 2:21Speaker 4: A good question then asking you how your daughter, who's ten, right,
- 2:25Speaker 4: and she about ten, So how did she feel about
- 2:28Speaker 4: watching that movie? Was there anything that stuck out to
- 2:31Speaker 4: her that's different than today?
- 2:33Speaker 6: Mmmmm, no, no, no.
- 2:38Speaker 5: She didn't. Nothing caught our attention.
- 2:40Speaker 2: No, okay, it was cute just to watch her giggle
- 2:42Speaker 2: like through stuff, you know, because she's trying. I've noticed
- 2:45Speaker 2: in her she's just kind of starting to pick up
- 2:47Speaker 2: on like little romantic things or the way people look
- 2:51Speaker 2: or the cutest thing she said not too long ago
- 2:54Speaker 2: is Nick Knakin and her were watching Smallville.
- 2:56Speaker 6: They had started up small Ville. Oh wow, with the
- 3:00Speaker 6: the you know, the guy that plays Clark Kent, and she,
- 3:05Speaker 6: out of nowhere said, he's got a really good jawline.
- 3:08Speaker 6: Oh no, excuse me, it's start. He's gotta go. You
- 3:19Speaker 6: just we're going back to SpongeBob all right, every day
- 3:24Speaker 6: we like to give you the opportunity to catch up
- 3:27Speaker 6: on some sports action with JKJ. I got a couple
- 3:31Speaker 6: of things really quick.
- 3:33Speaker 2: There's a survey out this morning of two thousand Americans
- 3:36Speaker 2: and they're revealing just how serious this ding dang country
- 3:40Speaker 2: is about ice cream.
- 3:42Speaker 6: Now, these people say that they eat at least one
- 3:46Speaker 6: scoop weekly, averaging eleven scoops per week.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Add that up, it's about two point five billion gallons
- 3:55Speaker 2: of ice cream consumers consume each summer. And now if
- 4:00Speaker 2: you were to do the math on that, we could
- 4:03Speaker 2: fill one hundred and thirteen football stadiums with ice cream
- 4:07Speaker 2: each and every summer. Yeah, that's how much we love
- 4:09Speaker 2: the ice creams.
- 4:11Speaker 4: We've got a whole song about screaming for it. So, yes,
- 4:14Speaker 4: we do love our ice cream.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Yeah. I'm a I'm a peanut butter chocolate slut.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Okay, yuh.
- 4:25Speaker 6: The Reese is Kin, Yeah, I like the bit and
- 4:28Speaker 6: Jerry's one that has the peanut butter swirl. One of
- 4:30Speaker 6: them's got a peanut butter core. I think it's what
- 4:32Speaker 6: they call it.
- 4:33Speaker 8: Me.
- 4:33Speaker 6: I'll eat anything with a peanut butter core.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Yeah. You will Yeah, I've heard that explains that restraining
- 4:40Speaker 4: order to I like Rocky Road when I was growing up.
- 4:43Speaker 4: It's my favorite, and now I kind of get I'd
- 4:46Speaker 4: like the like ten roof Sunday, do you know what
- 4:48Speaker 4: I mean.
- 4:49Speaker 5: So that's got like the fudge squirrels.
- 4:51Speaker 4: And like the piece almost like you know the cones,
- 4:54Speaker 4: the Sunday cones.
- 4:55Speaker 5: That you get.
- 4:56Speaker 6: Oh, it's got chunks of cones.
- 4:57Speaker 5: And it's like ice cream.
- 4:59Speaker 4: And then it's got all of stuff of that cone
- 5:01Speaker 4: that you get in there that's filled.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Cone or just like the sugar cone, the sugar cone.
- 5:06Speaker 5: The sugar cone. But you get him in the freezer
- 5:08Speaker 5: aisle there.
- 5:09Speaker 2: The drumstickstick, I'm a drumstick.
- 5:16Speaker 5: And then the drumstick in it.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Yeah, you have to have four of them at a time
- 5:22Speaker 6: though to be satisfying. Yeah, the drumstick in the tip
- 5:26Speaker 6: of it's filled with the hard chocolate. I'm a hard
- 5:30Speaker 6: chocolate Okay.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Now from ice cream to chicken. More people are
- 5:42Speaker 2: out and about here in America testing out some of
- 5:45Speaker 2: our food.
- 5:46Speaker 6: And there's this Australian dude who was here for the
- 5:48Speaker 6: World Cup and he checked out it was Popeye's Fried chicken,
- 5:52Speaker 6: and there's a little bit of audio of him talking
- 5:54Speaker 6: about it, which I thought was quite charming.
- 5:56Speaker 8: Id a restaurant in America, col Popas's a chicken, biscuit, chips,
- 6:01Speaker 8: Collslaw is six dollars.
- 6:05Speaker 6: How does this business even work? How is it even open?
- 6:09Speaker 8: And there's a drink machine there of course, unlimited ray phils.
- 6:12Speaker 8: In fact, why is Pope's Chicken not in Australia? If Popey's,
- 6:16Speaker 8: if you came here, you and I'm in this country?
- 6:18Speaker 6: He raved about it. I had to chop that down
- 6:21Speaker 6: for like ten minutes. Yeah, about how great Popeyes was
- 6:24Speaker 6: sounds like me when.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I moved down the street from one, Like for real,
- 6:26Speaker 4: I was down the block from a Popeye's Chicken that
- 6:28Speaker 4: sounded like all the things I said.
- 6:31Speaker 2: He went off on the drink machine for like three minutes,
- 6:34Speaker 2: like he was so fascinated by how many drink choices
- 6:36Speaker 2: there are.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Imagine unlimited refill.
- 6:39Speaker 7: Yeah, imagine coming from a country that doesn't have this,
- 6:41Speaker 7: and you go to that that drink fill station that
- 6:44Speaker 7: has the touch screen. Yeah, you automatically get like eighty
- 6:46Speaker 7: different toys.
- 6:47Speaker 6: Science.
- 6:49Speaker 7: Oh, I would love to feel that for the first time.
- 6:51Speaker 5: I know.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Well, now he knows why there's an obesity epidemic here
- 6:55Speaker 6: in America.
- 6:56Speaker 5: I'd be careful for that drink machine.
- 6:57Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right, be on you, buddy. Sure, well, all right,
- 7:02Speaker 6: what else is going on?
- 7:03Speaker 5: Is sports?
- 7:04Speaker 7: Well, like you just said, I mean, the World Cup
- 7:05Speaker 7: really is the gift that keeps on giving. And it
- 7:07Speaker 7: seems like somehow, in one way or another, it is
- 7:10Speaker 7: like healing the world because there are so many people
- 7:13Speaker 7: that have come here and USA is taking on Bosnia
- 7:17Speaker 7: and Herzegovina in the round of thirty two this Wednesday,
- 7:20Speaker 7: and a Bosnian man was interviewed about his time being
- 7:24Speaker 7: here and he's like, it has literally been the best
- 7:27Speaker 7: time of his entire life.
- 7:29Speaker 9: I haven't had a bad day since March twenty sixth.
- 7:31Speaker 9: We beat Wales March twenty six and then a week
- 7:33Speaker 9: later we beat Italy. Swear to God man, every single day,
- 7:36Speaker 9: coffee with my boys, drinks with my boys. My girlfriend
- 7:38Speaker 9: of six and a half years broke up with me.
- 7:40Speaker 9: I miss you a little bit, but yo, I'm telling you,
- 7:42Speaker 9: not a bad day. She broke up with me the
- 7:44Speaker 9: day after Wales. Every day has been a good day, bro.
- 7:47Speaker 9: She picked the perfect time to break up with me
- 7:49Speaker 9: because World Cup and all is good. Dog.
- 7:51Speaker 7: It has been the most doggin bro, Dog and Bro. Which,
- 7:54Speaker 7: by the way, Bosnians can speak perfect English.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I guess this dude's from.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Bosnia spending time in the US, I say, and it
- 8:01Speaker 7: sounds like he's from Detroit.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Like, what the heck is that?
- 8:04Speaker 4: It's so amazing though, to hear people come here and
- 8:07Speaker 4: talk so highly of our country. I think we all
- 8:09Speaker 4: needed that, we all need it be united like this.
- 8:12Speaker 4: I mean the fact that they are loving America and
- 8:15Speaker 4: it's giving us like rose colored glasses too.
- 8:18Speaker 6: It's the best.
- 8:20Speaker 2: They'd wrap it up because it's cutting in my nightly
- 8:22Speaker 2: news time though.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, it's.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Cutting into my Dave Frasier time and I need me
- 8:27Speaker 2: some Dave fras that's what you care about.
- 8:29Speaker 6: You can wrap it up, dog, Bro.
- 8:31Speaker 5: You want more news?
- 8:32Speaker 6: Yeah, dog, come on, Bro.
- 8:35Speaker 5: From the peaks and pipe to the pulse of Pearl Street.
- 8:39Speaker 5: What's good world?
- 8:40Speaker 6: This is where the buzz meets the altitude.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Check it out.
- 8:43Speaker 3: JKJS Mile High Hype On mixed one hundred starts now.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Yeah, It's brought to you by Mile High Appliance.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Celebrate the fourth of July with amazing savings throughout their showrooms.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Get a top of the line ge French door Staler's
- 8:57Speaker 2: refrigerator for only twenty four to forty nine.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Find him at Mountain High Bliance dot com.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Well, my butt was in the seat this weekend for
- 9:05Speaker 2: Toy Story five. It kept the box office. Crown made
- 9:10Speaker 2: about seventy million dollars this weekend. There was another flop on.
- 9:14Speaker 6: The Heels and Masters of the Universe.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Supergirl had a thirty eight million dollar opening, And you know,
- 9:20Speaker 2: I want to see it, but I think that's a
- 9:24Speaker 2: wait till it gets to.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Netflix to say it.
- 9:26Speaker 7: But do you think right now superhero movies are it's
- 9:29Speaker 7: like overkilled?
- 9:30Speaker 6: Yeah, it could be. Well, I'll tell you a Toy
- 9:32Speaker 6: Story was overkilled.
- 9:34Speaker 2: The one word to describe that movie unnecessary. Oh yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I mean necessary is a pure money grab.
- 9:44Speaker 6: This story was not that good. It was just a
- 9:48Speaker 6: that could have been a straight to Disney plus.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Okay, So is this just.
- 9:52Speaker 4: A nostalgia everyone speaking from because I've heard so many
- 9:55Speaker 4: people say this is like the best one since the original.
- 9:59Speaker 4: There's so many pieces in it that make so much
- 10:02Speaker 4: sense right now, Like.
- 10:03Speaker 6: It's relevant because it deals with the kids and the
- 10:07Speaker 6: screens and the lack of friendship out there because all
- 10:10Speaker 6: the kids are parked on their screens and I liked that.
- 10:12Speaker 6: But it was just me and my daughter that went.
- 10:14Speaker 2: It was just the two of us, and we've had
- 10:16Speaker 2: some conversations about you know, screen time and all that
- 10:18Speaker 2: at home, and it was nice for her to see that.
- 10:22Speaker 2: You know, now in movie form, maybe it gets through
- 10:25Speaker 2: a little better. But other than that, it's grab.
- 10:31Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell you what. There's nothing but kids in
- 10:33Speaker 6: that theater. It pissed me out.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Yeah, expect you can see your bro homie hanging.
- 10:39Speaker 6: Out at the my bro homie.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Yeah, bro homiees.
- 10:44Speaker 6: Bro fine. There were so many kids in that oh god.
- 10:49Speaker 6: And they were all talking and crying, chewing loudly. Why
- 10:57Speaker 6: are there so many kids in here?
- 10:59Speaker 5: They were are using words. What I will say it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: There was one moment it made me kind of giggle because,
- 11:07Speaker 2: you know, after the previews were done and everything, they
- 11:09Speaker 2: dim the lights really dark, and there's like a moment
- 11:11Speaker 2: where it's just pitch black and they're right before the
- 11:13Speaker 2: previews and there are other stuff kicks up, you know, and.
- 11:17Speaker 6: As it went dark, you hear one little kid go,
- 11:19Speaker 6: I can't see anything.
- 11:25Speaker 10: The adults just kind of started that in the way
- 11:27Speaker 10: he said, yeah, anyway, Yeah, So if you're I mean whatever,
- 11:37Speaker 10: if you're a parent looking to take your kid out
- 11:38Speaker 10: for some fun, that's fine, But honestly, I would save
- 11:40Speaker 10: your cash.
- 11:41Speaker 6: There's another fifty dollars day for me to go to
- 11:43Speaker 6: the movie.
- 11:44Speaker 5: It's so expensive. So you're saying, just wait till it
- 11:47Speaker 5: hits the string, Yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 6: It'll be a Disney Plus in no time.
- 11:50Speaker 10: All right.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Rumor has it the Stevie Nicks and Tim mc McGraw
- 11:53Speaker 2: are reportedly set to perform at Tat's wedding, and some
- 11:58Speaker 2: luxury wedding pre estimating this wedding is probably gonna cost
- 12:02Speaker 2: over twenty million dollars.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Sounds a right.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Yeah, So that's going on. And then this story about
- 12:10Speaker 6: Noah Khan.
- 12:12Speaker 2: He sounds exactly like our office manager here at work.
- 12:16Speaker 6: Tick is her name. She's the best.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Noah Khan had to tweet out to all of his
- 12:22Speaker 2: fans to please stop pooping on the floor in the
- 12:26Speaker 2: restrooms at his concerts, just like Tick, our office manager,
- 12:32Speaker 2: who is constantly messaging the all staff to clean up
- 12:36Speaker 2: the bathrooms. Essentially let's just says, yeah, we're not allowed
- 12:42Speaker 2: to use the restrooms up front because somebody pooped on
- 12:44Speaker 2: the floor. Yeah, so anyway, Noah Khan had to do
- 12:47Speaker 2: the same thing, and he went on to say, you know,
- 12:49Speaker 2: I've pooped my pants while I'm on stage because I'm
- 12:52Speaker 2: dedicated to my craft.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Y'all, can at least hit the toilets when you're in
- 12:55Speaker 6: the bathrooms because think of the people that have to
- 12:57Speaker 6: clean that stuff up. Yes, Yeah, so anyway, he actually.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Had the tweet out to his fans to not go
- 13:05Speaker 2: on the bathroom floor.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Well, and I know, like musicians had to tell people
- 13:09Speaker 4: not to do that while they're waiting in their spot
- 13:12Speaker 4: at like music shows, right, like Olivia Rodrigo, Yeah, exactly made.
- 13:16Speaker 2: A post about how she can smell the first two
- 13:19Speaker 2: rows of the crowd. Yeah, because so many people wear
- 13:22Speaker 2: depens because they don't want to leave or can't leave,
- 13:25Speaker 2: so they just soil themselves at the concerts.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:28Speaker 6: And then a few other.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Artists have tweeted out to not throw those then up
- 13:32Speaker 2: on stage because they've had that happen where people throw
- 13:35Speaker 2: their depins up on the stages.
- 13:37Speaker 5: What happened to Bras and panties, Like what.
- 13:40Speaker 6: It's the news and panties super absorbent. Man, have some
- 13:45Speaker 6: of my DNA?
- 13:45Speaker 5: I love you? What did they throw when they like them?
- 13:49Speaker 11: Right?
- 13:51Speaker 6: That's so gross anyway, shout out to Noakhan. All right,
- 13:54Speaker 6: what's going on locally?
- 13:55Speaker 5: Okay?
- 13:56Speaker 4: Well this is hilarious a story coming out of Steamboat Springs.
- 13:59Speaker 5: Because what if you're getting ready to start your day.
- 14:01Speaker 4: You got to your coffee cup in Handkarke, he's ready
- 14:04Speaker 4: to go.
- 14:04Speaker 5: You open your passenger.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Door and there's a bear sitting in your bear I
- 14:10Speaker 4: saw this gar pickup truck.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Yeah, there's video of it.
- 14:13Speaker 4: So Andy Kerrigan was walking around the front of his
- 14:16Speaker 4: home and he's going towards his car with some stuff
- 14:18Speaker 4: when he opens a passenger door and he starts to
- 14:20Speaker 4: get in it like nothing's wrong, and then.
- 14:22Speaker 5: He realizes there's a big old bear in his truck.
- 14:24Speaker 6: I'm trying to take a nap here.
- 14:26Speaker 4: You can see the moment in which he realizes the
- 14:29Speaker 4: severity of the situation and he jumps back. The bear
- 14:33Speaker 4: is not deterred at art all. Like the bear continues
- 14:37Speaker 4: to rummage through the truck. Andy's there with a pole
- 14:40Speaker 4: trying to post it two by four, trying to get
- 14:43Speaker 4: him going, and he's not having it. He's just like
- 14:45Speaker 4: you are messing with me. I am like in the
- 14:47Speaker 4: middle of my rummaging journey right now. But the bear
- 14:51Speaker 4: finally did kind of scurry away, and you see Andy
- 14:54Speaker 4: just be like, oh my gosh, that could have been
- 14:57Speaker 4: so much worse. But I imagine, like in steamboats, for
- 15:00Speaker 4: you would just expect like you'd be a little bit
- 15:02Speaker 4: more aware of bears, right same same up in the
- 15:06Speaker 4: high country is where you're going to see him for
- 15:08Speaker 4: the most part. But man, for them to be in
- 15:10Speaker 4: your tra ruck, like these bears have no shame anymore,
- 15:15Speaker 4: definitely exactly.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Man, this is a kind of a funny story.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Well it's coming out of Weald County and it's a
- 15:22Speaker 4: thirty one year old man who was arrested after allegedly
- 15:26Speaker 4: getting into a fight.
- 15:27Speaker 5: With his family members. This happened on Saturday.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Then to really prove his point, he killed the chicken
- 15:33Speaker 4: and then started to throw flower pots at deputies.
- 15:37Speaker 6: What he killed a chicken?
- 15:41Speaker 5: I know, he also is.
- 15:45Speaker 4: He did it to really just you know, kind of
- 15:47Speaker 4: freak out his families. But he broke a fence, fled
- 15:50Speaker 4: the scene, and then he returned to the scene. That's
- 15:53Speaker 4: when he started throwing the flower pots at deputies and whatnot,
- 15:56Speaker 4: and they tried to take him into custody, and then
- 15:58Speaker 4: he started throwing wood at him and they had to
- 16:01Speaker 4: actually taste him to gain control of it. He was
- 16:04Speaker 4: going kind of nuts. If you can imagine they grilled chicken.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I know, tell me, yeah, I don't want the chicken
- 16:11Speaker 2: to go to waste, yeah, to die for nothing.
- 16:14Speaker 5: You know what, this story doesn't cover what happened to
- 16:16Speaker 5: the chicken.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I'm sure I could dig deep somewhere I tell exactly
- 16:20Speaker 4: what happened. But man was arrested for assault, menacing, criminal mischief,
- 16:25Speaker 4: resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer, and animal cruelty.
- 16:29Speaker 5: So they got him with that charge. Don't you worry.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Chicken charge this one as well.
- 16:36Speaker 4: So the Bishop castle, now you know the story about that,
- 16:39Speaker 4: right the man who you know, he built the castle
- 16:41Speaker 4: for his wife and it was just such an amazing
- 16:44Speaker 4: love story. And sadly, I know that is like a
- 16:48Speaker 4: Bruno Marson come to life, that I'm gonna build you
- 16:52Speaker 4: a castle.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Where can I find you?
- 16:54Speaker 6: I actually just got you smearings from coals.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Exactly down the street his wife.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Guess, yeah, he's building castles for his wife, and you got.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Step it up. But yeah, so that story, I mean,
- 17:12Speaker 5: people just love the fact that he built that castle
- 17:14Speaker 5: for his wife.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Right, medieval, isn't it?
- 17:17Speaker 5: Yes, yes, exactly.
- 17:18Speaker 4: So we were very excited that his son Daniel was
- 17:20Speaker 4: trying to keep that tradition alive because they were going
- 17:23Speaker 4: to have a big medieval festival down there, a seventh
- 17:26Speaker 4: through the night, yes, all the medieval things. But here's
- 17:31Speaker 4: the thing is, Daniel was seriously injured while working on
- 17:35Speaker 4: the castle, so they've scrapped plans for the event and.
- 17:39Speaker 5: He actually has to have surgeries. He's in some very
- 17:42Speaker 5: rough shape.
- 17:43Speaker 6: So I know like festival has been definitely feeling for
- 17:48Speaker 6: the sale.
- 17:51Speaker 5: I know, well well, and he got hurt. Can you
- 17:56Speaker 5: put that in your little plamation? Then the prince.
- 18:04Speaker 6: Has fallen off, thou ladder, Let us take him into
- 18:12Speaker 6: our prayer. There we go, Thy God's light shine upon thee.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Yes, we want, we want.
- 18:19Speaker 6: To bring him thy Virgin.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I don't think he needs all that, but we just
- 18:25Speaker 4: need hopes and prayers at this point.
- 18:27Speaker 6: But again, it was my sins are forgiven, go and
- 18:30Speaker 6: sin no more.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Yes, okay, you're forgiving sins over there, Yes, ri shield
- 18:38Speaker 4: thee from harm and guide thy way. The whole thing
- 18:42Speaker 4: was a fundraiser for the Foundation for new Born Heart Surgery,
- 18:46Speaker 4: so they are still asking people if you want, well,
- 18:50Speaker 4: just if you want to donate to that, you still can.
- 18:51Speaker 5: They're still accepting donations, even though they did have to
- 18:54Speaker 5: scrap the festival.
- 18:55Speaker 4: But hopefully they'll have a blessing thank you. Hopefully we'll
- 18:59Speaker 4: still get to be able to do it. And hear
- 19:00Speaker 4: that here you hear ye even more hee yee.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Ye ye, but still bring the virgin.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Cher jare you? Katie and Josh six one hundred off
- 19:12Speaker 5: the air?
- 19:13Speaker 2: You've ben just kind of quickly discussing all of our
- 19:15Speaker 2: food that we ate this weekend, which is what we do.
- 19:17Speaker 2: And I have become addicted to throw in whole chickens
- 19:20Speaker 2: on my trigger and letting them just you know, go
- 19:23Speaker 2: to town for about five hours.
- 19:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm just doing various things with them.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Well, it's good you get the best bang for your buck.
- 19:29Speaker 4: First of all, I think.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Full of all the crap.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You just buy a couple of organic hold chickens and
- 19:33Speaker 2: then you seizon them the way you want. And I
- 19:36Speaker 2: took a giant loaf of French bread, cut it in
- 19:38Speaker 2: half and opened it up, did my rotisserie chickens for
- 19:41Speaker 2: about five hours, pulled them off, shredded them up, and
- 19:44Speaker 2: then I slathered that French bread with some barbecue sauce,
- 19:48Speaker 2: provolone cheese, the shredded chicken, and then pepper jack cheese
- 19:52Speaker 2: on top of it and more barbecue sauce, and then
- 19:55Speaker 2: threw it back on the trigger for another twenty minutes,
- 19:57Speaker 2: smoked a smoke and which the bread got crispy that
- 20:01Speaker 2: the cheese got smoked a little bit.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Oh so the bread even gets like a smoked.
- 20:08Speaker 5: Flavor to it. Huh, sounds so good. Yeah, you could
- 20:13Speaker 5: even have that for breakfast.
- 20:14Speaker 6: Yeah, tell me about breakfast so quick think.
- 20:16Speaker 4: So I was watching this video over the weekend that
- 20:19Speaker 4: talked about how a lot of people are trying to
- 20:21Speaker 4: get protein in their diet, right, but some people don't
- 20:24Speaker 4: care for like the processed meats and eggs and things
- 20:27Speaker 4: that are traditional with American breakfast.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 20:31Speaker 4: And there was this guy who had a video. He's like,
- 20:33Speaker 4: I'm eating shrimp alfredo for breakfast because there are no rules.
- 20:37Speaker 4: And I started doing a little digging, right, Apparently.
- 20:40Speaker 5: We've all been duped. We've all been duped because it's
- 20:43Speaker 5: essentially true.
- 20:44Speaker 4: This hearty American breakfast, Yeah, was engineered in the twenties
- 20:48Speaker 4: by Edward Burnet's and he completely fooled us did this.
- 20:53Speaker 4: They called him the father of public relations, and he
- 20:56Speaker 4: was the nephew of Sigmund Freud. Right, So he was
- 20:59Speaker 4: hired by the Beach Neat Packing Company to boost the
- 21:02Speaker 4: sagging sales of bacon.
- 21:04Speaker 6: It's all marketing, it's all marketing.
- 21:06Speaker 5: He came in and he consulted like.
- 21:08Speaker 6: Milk, milk doesn't really do a body good.
- 21:10Speaker 4: He consulted his agency's doctor and they agreed that a
- 21:14Speaker 4: heavier breakfast was better for people because it gave them
- 21:17Speaker 4: more energy to start the day. But then he took
- 21:19Speaker 4: this and he had the doctor right to thousands of
- 21:22Speaker 4: other physicians to see if they agree.
- 21:24Speaker 5: But then he published it, so he had over.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Forty five hundred doctors confirming this theory that Americans need
- 21:31Speaker 4: to eat heavy breakfasts to improve their health, and people.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Got on board with it.
- 21:36Speaker 4: This was way back in the nineteen twenties, and now
- 21:38Speaker 4: we're all convinced we need bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns,
- 21:42Speaker 4: orange juice.
- 21:42Speaker 5: A side of fruit and toast to start our day.
- 21:45Speaker 5: And it's just not true. It's not true. And so
- 21:49Speaker 5: the thing is here a lot of.
- 21:51Speaker 6: People on his hair.
- 21:52Speaker 5: But it's funny just because like I.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Love breakfast food, but I always thought that there was
- 21:58Speaker 4: more to it, Like why can't we have Liza on
- 22:00Speaker 4: you for breakfast?
- 22:00Speaker 5: But you can. There are no rules.
- 22:02Speaker 6: You can't guess what You're an adult.
- 22:04Speaker 5: You're an adult, and you can do what you want.
- 22:05Speaker 6: You know, you can have what lasagna and chocolate cake
- 22:08Speaker 6: if you my gosh, yeah, I'm gonna go do that
- 22:10Speaker 6: and wash it down in the mountain dew. Hey, if
- 22:12Speaker 6: you're on the dating world, you might be familiar with
- 22:16Speaker 6: some of the stuff floating around. Some of the stories.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Gen Z singles right now are apparently going on practice
- 22:23Speaker 2: dates just to build confidence.
- 22:25Speaker 6: They're going out with people that they don't really you
- 22:29Speaker 6: have too much of an attraction to.
- 22:31Speaker 2: They're just going out and you know, practicing talking to
- 22:35Speaker 2: people and ordering and being out in the public. I
- 22:38Speaker 2: guess they're calling them practice dates to build dating confidence.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Would not just be lovely if I found out I
- 22:45Speaker 4: was the recipient of one of those they're just practicing
- 22:47Speaker 4: on me.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Yeah, they say, off.
- 22:52Speaker 2: They just want to stop performing and act natural when
- 22:56Speaker 2: they're out on the dates. Now, that's very similar to
- 22:59Speaker 2: something called goblin intimacy right now, and they say the
- 23:03Speaker 2: idea that is, instead of working your butt off to
- 23:05Speaker 2: present the very best version of yourself when you're out
- 23:08Speaker 2: there dating.
- 23:09Speaker 6: Just show up as a goblin. Now, not in full
- 23:12Speaker 6: costume unless.
- 23:13Speaker 5: You, I mean, unless they're into that.
- 23:17Speaker 6: I don't know, but just he was an ogre Katie.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Sorry, but just show up as is. Be normal, Just
- 23:28Speaker 2: be the normal you. You're not hiding any of your flaws.
- 23:32Speaker 2: You're being upfront about your baggage from the beginning.
- 23:35Speaker 6: They're saying, you're just starting.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Things off by being real and the other person can
- 23:40Speaker 2: just take it or leave it.
- 23:42Speaker 4: See, and I appreciate that, but I'm gonna tell you
- 23:45Speaker 4: right now, you're gonna scare everybody off. You can't come
- 23:48Speaker 4: out with like, you know, unkemptear, you've got your sweats on.
- 23:54Speaker 6: That's one thing in this story. They say.
- 23:57Speaker 2: The big key to goblin intimacy or Goblin to Missy
- 24:01Speaker 2: is not coming across as low effort you want to
- 24:04Speaker 2: be authentic, but you still want to present like you
- 24:09Speaker 2: take care of yourself, clean yourself up a little bit,
- 24:12Speaker 2: but it's just essentially your backstory and your life.
- 24:15Speaker 6: That's what you're just kind of laying on the tape.
- 24:17Speaker 4: I've tried this and it doesn't necessarily work the way
- 24:19Speaker 4: you want it to. Like I've been the person who's like,
- 24:21Speaker 4: can I wear a basketball jersey to the first date?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Why not? And they know how much I love the Nuggets,
- 24:26Speaker 5: you know, but it doesn't work that way.
- 24:28Speaker 6: I don't think that would work.
- 24:29Speaker 4: No, But to me that that tells you everything you
- 24:32Speaker 4: need to know, or a lot that you need to
- 24:34Speaker 4: know about me. I really am a massive fan. A
- 24:37Speaker 4: lot of my life revolves around it. So I would
- 24:41Speaker 4: think that's easy getting things out of the way type stuff.
- 24:44Speaker 5: But yeah, you just gotta be careful with that one.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I would like it if I was out in the
- 24:47Speaker 2: dating scene and then the person in front of me
- 24:51Speaker 2: just was like, Hey, here's my life, this is what's
- 24:53Speaker 2: going on, and I'm just good.
- 24:55Speaker 6: I think I don't think you because I feel like
- 24:57Speaker 6: that's how I would be.
- 24:58Speaker 5: No, but here's the thing is, you need.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Katie Rose in so I've been into jail trauma bond
- 25:06Speaker 6: and I love jail.
- 25:07Speaker 5: No, don't love jail.
- 25:08Speaker 6: Stop it.
- 25:10Speaker 4: So it does kind of make me think of the
- 25:12Speaker 4: new gen Z trend though, where they are dating people
- 25:16Speaker 4: who they view as uglier for lack of a better term.
- 25:21Speaker 4: But they're saying they're dating people that they're not attracted to,
- 25:24Speaker 4: and kind of the same homely thing, Yes, homely, thank you,
- 25:28Speaker 4: thank you, Yes, the ugly tree and hit every branch
- 25:32Speaker 4: on the way down.
- 25:33Speaker 5: Oh does that means still?
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yeah? I think okay, But they say they call this
- 25:37Speaker 4: the six seven trend, and that is not supposed to
- 25:40Speaker 4: be I know, I'm sorry, but you're dating a six
- 25:43Speaker 4: or a seven versus a ten, right, so that's where
- 25:46Speaker 4: it comes from. But here again, I I just feel like,
- 25:50Speaker 4: well you would think, but they're saying that women primarily
- 25:55Speaker 4: are doing this because they think that these.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Partners are going to treat them better. And I got
- 26:00Speaker 5: news for you. You gotta worry about the ugly ones too.
- 26:03Speaker 5: You just do you do?
- 26:06Speaker 2: That's been a that's been a myth, like for you
- 26:09Speaker 2: years and years that somebody ugly because they're just happy
- 26:13Speaker 2: to be with you, they'll try harder.
- 26:16Speaker 6: Yeah, and that is not but they.
- 26:19Speaker 5: All are cheating. You can't trust anybody out there, Jeremy.
- 26:23Speaker 5: But yeah, so this is but it's because they say
- 26:31Speaker 5: a lot of it too, is the dating app burnout.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Everybody who's just picking their dates based on how someone
- 26:36Speaker 4: looks left right, swipe left right, blah blah blah. They're
- 26:40Speaker 4: saying that take that out of the picture, and you're
- 26:43Speaker 4: just dating somebody based on their interest level, the things
- 26:47Speaker 4: that they have listed on their profile, you're bound to
- 26:49Speaker 4: get a better match. But again, I'm just saying, people
- 26:52Speaker 4: are out there doing your dirty regardless of how they look,
- 26:55Speaker 4: so just be aware.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Be aware.
- 26:56Speaker 6: And it's called six seven.
- 26:58Speaker 5: I know, I know that you probably wouldn't like that.
- 27:01Speaker 4: There's also one more broke quick just because there's an
- 27:04Speaker 4: area on a grande term called grande ing.
- 27:08Speaker 5: When it comes to the dating world, and.
- 27:11Speaker 4: That has a lot I think of his coffee exactly.
- 27:13Speaker 4: But it has nothing to do with the part. It
- 27:15Speaker 4: has more to do with her song thank you Next. Okay,
- 27:19Speaker 4: So it is just well Josh, well, it's just it
- 27:24Speaker 4: was her just saying, you know, I've I dated this
- 27:26Speaker 4: person and I'm like, thank you next, Like you know,
- 27:28Speaker 4: she famously dated Mac Miller and she was nice about
- 27:30Speaker 4: it in that song because he passed away after she
- 27:33Speaker 4: made that song. But it was really it was Pete Davidson.
- 27:35Speaker 4: She made that song about right. But they say, like,
- 27:38Speaker 4: with that in mind, it is that you're not holding
- 27:41Speaker 4: a whole lot of like you're not mad at yourself
- 27:45Speaker 4: for moving on because a lot of people are.
- 27:47Speaker 6: Giving permission you are giving you.
- 27:49Speaker 4: You're not keeping yourself in relationship that's not working just
- 27:52Speaker 4: because it's uncomfortable to end it.
- 27:54Speaker 5: You're moving on to the next one.
- 27:57Speaker 4: You're afraid of what exactly like you are moving on
- 28:00Speaker 4: and there's no qualms about it.
- 28:02Speaker 5: So thank you.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Next is the theory as well that gen z ors
- 28:05Speaker 4: are looking at. And there's just so much to do
- 28:08Speaker 4: with dating now, there's all these things so confusing.
- 28:12Speaker 6: What happened to just hooking up at church camp?
- 28:14Speaker 10: I know?
- 28:15Speaker 5: You know?
- 28:15Speaker 6: And yeah, and then you're together forever?
- 28:18Speaker 5: What the heck?
- 28:19Speaker 6: Church camp in it? That's my new.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Duty phrase, church camp. So I'll go to church camp.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 28:27Speaker 6: My hoa is better than your h o a.
- 28:29Speaker 2: My hoa is better than your h oa.
- 28:36Speaker 5: What that's a weird?
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we went out with the entire HOA over the weekend.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It was like Friday night, and we went and had
- 28:46Speaker 2: pasta and we did some drinking and we ended up
- 28:49Speaker 2: at a brewery with the.
- 28:51Speaker 6: Entire h o A and it was a great night.
- 28:54Speaker 6: So my HA is better than your h o A.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Yes, you guys were just making some laws and making
- 29:02Speaker 4: people's lives.
- 29:03Speaker 6: Oh, we did that. Then we fun that. We sent
- 29:07Speaker 6: out some notices on weeds and peak colors and you know,
- 29:11Speaker 6: spot cracks in your driveway. And then we went out
- 29:14Speaker 6: and tore it up. One of the guys on the
- 29:20Speaker 6: ho as that he's an older gentleman, but he was
- 29:23Speaker 6: swearing by these drinks called peach bllinis.
- 29:26Speaker 5: I love a good peach below.
- 29:28Speaker 6: I have never had a peach before, and he made
- 29:30Speaker 6: everybody get a peach bellini.
- 29:32Speaker 5: They're so good.
- 29:33Speaker 6: I didn't do it. I fought back. I was like, no,
- 29:34Speaker 6: I'm I'm ordering a peroni. I'm a grown man. I'm
- 29:37Speaker 6: a grown man, I'm a peach. Nick Knack got one, though,
- 29:42Speaker 6: and she said I drank it a little too fast,
- 29:44Speaker 6: and the the night, the song of.
- 29:48Speaker 5: Peach bllinis will catch up to you.
- 29:50Speaker 6: I had no idea I had never heard of one before,
- 29:52Speaker 6: and you.
- 29:53Speaker 5: Can get one with or without alcohol, so yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, definitely had alcohol. And they had like a
- 29:59Speaker 6: peach like a see of peach on the side and
- 30:02Speaker 6: it looks really good. But it came in like a
- 30:04Speaker 6: Martini style glass.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Too, and I was like, I can't fancy, I can't.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yes, that is one of those drinks that you know,
- 30:11Speaker 2: as a guy, You're like, I'd like one, but I'll
- 30:13Speaker 2: just make my wife order and drink something.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Coming up on peach season Tooi's.
- 30:21Speaker 2: For everybody, but I will say it was you know,
- 30:24Speaker 2: it costs us a pretty penny to go out and
- 30:26Speaker 2: have some fun, and you know, the brewery wasn't cheap either,
- 30:29Speaker 2: just to grab a couple of beers. And I came
- 30:31Speaker 2: across this story this morning talking about funflation, and I
- 30:35Speaker 2: was like, that's what we hit this weekend, was funflation.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Everybody's upset that it's costing so much to go out
- 30:43Speaker 2: and just have fun. Yeah, to go get some cocktails,
- 30:47Speaker 2: to go to a concert, to go on vacation, to
- 30:50Speaker 2: go to a sporting event. It's so damn expensive anymore.
- 30:54Speaker 2: I mean, just to go to a sporting event is expensive.
- 30:56Speaker 2: And then you go downtown, you got to find you know,
- 30:58Speaker 2: fifty dollars parking.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Again, parking now, I'm over ridiculous, and you better pay
- 31:03Speaker 4: that fifty dollars because if you park somewhere sketch, you're
- 31:06Speaker 4: gonna be worried about your car the whole.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Yeah, you know that's mud fla. When you get months
- 31:10Speaker 6: on the way back to your car, gotta be care.
- 31:12Speaker 6: It'll cost you when you have to open up your
- 31:14Speaker 6: wallet and cass to the muggers.
- 31:17Speaker 2: But I know when we go out to eat, it's
- 31:19Speaker 2: just a little family of four. I mean it is
- 31:20Speaker 2: fully expected that you know, we'll be dropping a Honda
- 31:24Speaker 2: easy peasy at least or you know, one hundred and fifty. Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 2: by the time it's all said and done. I took
- 31:30Speaker 2: my daughter to the movies this weekend. It was just
- 31:31Speaker 2: the two of us. It was fifty bucks to go
- 31:33Speaker 2: see Toy Story. After tickets, one popcorn and one drink
- 31:37Speaker 2: that we shared and fifty bucks.
- 31:39Speaker 4: And that's like to have fun and everything in life
- 31:42Speaker 4: already before that is also expensive. I mean, just living
- 31:46Speaker 4: right now is costing us a pretty penny. So then
- 31:48Speaker 4: when you add going out and having a good time
- 31:51Speaker 4: attaching that kind of price tag to it is just
- 31:54Speaker 4: it hurts your stomach, or at least it does mine.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Mike Tommy stomach hurts.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Well.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Think about vacation season now too. Everyone's going leaving to
- 32:02Speaker 2: have fun. Funflation is hitting me at the airport, your
- 32:06Speaker 2: rental car home.
- 32:07Speaker 5: I had to take out a loan.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Really perfect because you're going to New York. Because I
- 32:12Speaker 6: had pick the most expensive spot to go to now.
- 32:15Speaker 5: Well, and I had so many things hit me leading
- 32:17Speaker 5: up to this. My car.
- 32:19Speaker 4: I had then invest in getting a garage because I'm
- 32:22Speaker 4: having a carny to park it. I mean, so many
- 32:24Speaker 4: things hit my wallet already, and then I have to
- 32:27Speaker 4: go have fun.

- 33:05Speaker 4: And did the whole salon route once and my hair
- 33:07Speaker 4: fell out. I'm not like Josh wall attest to this.
- 33:10Speaker 4: You remember when I went blonde for a minute. It
- 33:13Speaker 4: comes poste.
- 33:15Speaker 5: So I've sworn all that off.
- 33:17Speaker 6: And it looks box Died different.
- 33:18Speaker 5: It looks awesome.
- 33:19Speaker 6: It looks my face.

- 33:28Speaker 6: I was like, hey, your hair looks darker.
- 33:31Speaker 5: It was not nice the way it was one of
- 33:33Speaker 5: those things that you say, it's darker nice or is that.
- 33:37Speaker 6: I'm getting used to it.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I'm definitely getting used to it.
- 33:40Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 6: It washes you out for sure.
- 33:46Speaker 4: You know what, Jerry, it looks fine.

- 33:58Speaker 2: his six ease.
- 34:01Speaker 5: It's my guess, Okay, he's.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Got stark white like beard generally like salt and pepper,
- 34:07Speaker 2: you know, hair that you know, it's got some gray
- 34:09Speaker 2: in it and he showed up and I.
- 34:12Speaker 6: Looked at him. I was like, whoa because it was
- 34:14Speaker 6: like jet black, you know, and you know when guys
- 34:17Speaker 6: do it, it doesn't match, like the eyebrows or the
- 34:19Speaker 6: goatee or the beard and the hair is jet black.
- 34:23Speaker 5: And you're like, did you just get your hair?
- 34:27Speaker 6: You're trying to hold onto your use? Yes, absolutely, yes,

- 34:38Speaker 6: sides are gray even still, you know, so I do it.
- 34:42Speaker 6: I get it, you understand.
- 34:43Speaker 2: But generally I go with a color that you know,

- 40:09Speaker 4: I can skate up and down this. No, n rollerblades,
- 40:11Speaker 4: it's so much harder. I know.

- 41:15Speaker 11: I would love you forever.
- 41:17Speaker 6: You would love me forever, Lisa, forever. You're like, you're

- 41:38Speaker 3: Watch that now too because we're lucky with the streaming.
- 41:40Speaker 3: So yeah, all the cool ones.

- 42:20Speaker 6: You really like this little game, don't you. Lisa? There's
- 42:26Speaker 6: one more thing now do you know what that is?
- 42:31Speaker 6: You don't you have to love me forever?
- 42:36Speaker 11: I already do with you' you know I already do.
- 42:41Speaker 6: I'm gonna check in in about six months with you
- 42:44Speaker 6: and see if you still love me, and then I'll
- 42:47Speaker 6: check in in maybe a year or two and be like, Lisa,
- 42:50Speaker 6: are we still good? Yeah?
- 42:53Speaker 4: All right?
- 42:53Speaker 5: Well I still got to have those sparks.
- 42:55Speaker 6: Well I'm gonna tell you what.
- 42:56Speaker 2: You better get a sitter because you're gonna be out
- 42:58Speaker 2: on the fourth of July at Mile High Stadium going

- 43:02Speaker 2: pack of tickets to go see him.
- 43:05Speaker 6: It's a big prize. Oh, we're so happy. It's a
- 43:09Speaker 6: big it's a big prize this week. Lisays the congratulations.
- 43:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna put you on hold and we'll come back
- 43:15Speaker 2: and tell you how to get those tickets.
- 43:17Speaker 11: Ok, Okay, thank you guys so much. I really appreciate you.
- 43:20Speaker 2: No, you love us, Lisa, I put you on hold, Katie.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Second one today for plast five.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Went quick, Jarity, Katie and Josh.
- 43:33Speaker 6: You got a question for you, Katie cap.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I was out with some friends this past weekend and
- 43:38Speaker 2: we were at a restaurant and we were all sitting
- 43:41Speaker 2: there talking because it was a fairly nice restaurant, and
- 43:45Speaker 2: in came two dudes and what looked like to be
- 43:48Speaker 2: their wives, and the guys had hats on.
- 43:54Speaker 6: I know.
- 43:55Speaker 2: So it led to a conversation regarding men and hats
- 43:59Speaker 2: and whether or not that should be allowed in restaurants,
- 44:02Speaker 2: if that's a good look or not.
- 44:04Speaker 6: Thoughts, what do you think?
- 44:06Speaker 4: It depends on the restaurant, It depends on the hat,
- 44:10Speaker 4: It depends on their entire get up, because that's a thing.
- 44:13Speaker 4: A lot of guys can make their hat work with
- 44:15Speaker 4: their outfit. Right, like they played it that way. So
- 44:19Speaker 4: if it's a nice hat, now, if it's just a
- 44:21Speaker 4: you know, torn up Rockies hat that has sweat all
- 44:25Speaker 4: the way across.
- 44:26Speaker 5: The brim, maybe leave that at home.
- 44:28Speaker 4: But they think that's the thing is I think that
- 44:30Speaker 4: is a very old school way of thinking when it
- 44:34Speaker 4: comes to hats in restaurants because I know that, like
- 44:37Speaker 4: my grandpa used to yell at my brother when he'd
- 44:39Speaker 4: wear a hat at the table, and I just that's what.
- 44:42Speaker 5: It reminds me of. It's like an old school way
- 44:44Speaker 5: of thinking.
- 44:45Speaker 6: It doesn't we definitely got.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Relax at home, yeah with a hat, yes, But if
- 44:50Speaker 2: it's like a family dinner, like a Thanksgiving or doing
- 44:52Speaker 2: something with a family, I will most likely take it off.
- 44:55Speaker 4: Probably because you're gonna make your grandma mad though, like,
- 44:59Speaker 4: well she's dead.
- 45:00Speaker 5: Just or someone in that rights.
- 45:03Speaker 6: I got one, but she's pretty chill, So I don't think.
- 45:06Speaker 4: Usually who it upsets is the older people, you know.
- 45:09Speaker 4: So it's like, maybe this is something that is going
- 45:11Speaker 4: to phase out in the next few years.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Well, my whole thing was is like, if you're going
- 45:15Speaker 2: into the restaurant with that hat on and then you
- 45:18Speaker 2: pull it off, as you're coming in and you're sitting there,
- 45:21Speaker 2: would you rather have the hat on or the look
- 45:25Speaker 2: at somebody's sweaty.
- 45:26Speaker 6: Messed up hair, because that's it, that's the thing. Josh
- 45:29Speaker 6: is wearing a hat.
- 45:30Speaker 5: Joshua's hats.
- 45:31Speaker 4: But again, Josh's hats are nice and they go with
- 45:34Speaker 4: his outfit right, Like it's like he planned them. He's
- 45:37Speaker 4: not wearing a sweaty baseball cap. He's got like one
- 45:39Speaker 4: hundred dollars hat on.
- 45:41Speaker 6: I know, But like we were at a nice place though.
- 45:43Speaker 2: It was a nice place and to see everyone else
- 45:46Speaker 2: dressed fairly nicely, and then these these two guys come
- 45:49Speaker 2: in with their wives with hats on.
- 45:51Speaker 6: I was like, I don't know if that's a good
- 45:53Speaker 6: look or not.
- 45:54Speaker 5: I don't know what did the wives think.
- 45:56Speaker 6: Did they get up and ask him, okay, what do
- 45:58Speaker 6: you think about your husband's hat?
- 46:01Speaker 5: If they were, did they look embarrassed?
- 46:03Speaker 4: Did they look like they didn't want to be seen
- 46:05Speaker 4: with their husband with the hat? Like?
- 46:07Speaker 5: How did that know? It was just you who had
- 46:09Speaker 5: a problem with it.
- 46:10Speaker 2: No, it just brought up a conversation at the table.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Is like that an old school, dated way to look.
- 46:15Speaker 6: At things that you're not aware to allowed to wear
- 46:17Speaker 6: hats to restaurants anymore.
- 46:19Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 46:19Speaker 6: It was just brought up.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I thought i'd toss it out to you and get
- 46:21Speaker 2: your thoughts. But you're pretty chill. Yeah, you maybe you
- 46:24Speaker 2: weren't the right person to talk to about this.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Well.
- 46:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I just I think that it's it's okay in
- 46:30Speaker 4: certain settings, especially now, Like I think all of that
- 46:34Speaker 4: is kind of I mean, we're wedding crop tops at work,
- 46:37Speaker 4: you know, so it's.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Like hats at a wedding, No hats at a funeral,
- 46:42Speaker 2: no Keen Sinira.
- 46:45Speaker 5: Again, you cowboy hats?
- 46:47Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, Like I think that that's where again
- 46:50Speaker 4: you have to make the differential is which hat are
- 46:54Speaker 4: you bringing to which occasion?
- 46:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny when we go on vacation, I like
- 46:58Speaker 2: to buy new hats just because I know we're to
- 47:00Speaker 2: be like taking pictures and doing things, so I always
- 47:02Speaker 2: buy a new hat to make sure it's not all
- 47:03Speaker 2: sweaty and nasty.
- 47:05Speaker 6: I'm a very courteous hat word.
- 47:06Speaker 5: See there you go. Are you doing it right?
- 47:08Speaker 4: Jared?
- 47:09Speaker 2: I think that's probably why it took me off, because
- 47:10Speaker 2: I was like, hey, be courteous dude that sweat on
- 47:13Speaker 2: that hat. All right, we're gonna be opening up the
- 47:17Speaker 2: phone lines here again and we're gonna be talking about
- 47:19Speaker 2: your possessions, things that you have that you could just
- 47:22Speaker 2: not live without.
- 47:23Speaker 6: This dude named Matt. He wrote Matt in Littleton. Thanks
- 47:28Speaker 6: Matt from Littleton for writing it.
- 47:30Speaker 2: He says, Hey, JKJ, my wife and I talk about
- 47:33Speaker 2: you when we get drunk.
- 47:36Speaker 6: That's how we started the note.
- 47:38Speaker 5: Not the first time I've been told that.
- 47:40Speaker 6: He says.
- 47:41Speaker 2: We have a silly game that we play with our
- 47:43Speaker 2: friends to see who could come up with the best
- 47:45Speaker 2: radio topics. And he goes, ha ha ha, he wrote out,
- 47:48Speaker 2: that's kind of a fun thing to do.
- 47:49Speaker 6: I guess thanks for doing our job.
- 47:50Speaker 5: You should text us in those topics. Oh yeah, she goes.
- 47:55Speaker 2: So we're out at the neighborhood group hub a couple
- 47:58Speaker 2: of days ago when our topic turned into a surprisingly
- 48:01Speaker 2: heated conversation. We were talking about what two possessions could
- 48:05Speaker 2: you keep for the rest of your life? He says,
- 48:09Speaker 2: it's not money, not your car, just two things that
- 48:12Speaker 2: you own that you would be absolutely crushed to lose.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Let me add on to that, no kids, no dogs,
- 48:21Speaker 2: none of that either, okay, So what two like things?
- 48:25Speaker 2: It was fascinating everyone had different answers. They were so different.
- 48:29Speaker 2: One guy said his grandfather's watch and his guitar. My
- 48:33Speaker 2: wife said our wedding photo album and this beat up
- 48:37Speaker 2: stuffed rabbit she's had since she was three.
- 48:41Speaker 6: Another one of my friends said.
- 48:42Speaker 2: His smoker that he always took mine and his vinyl
- 48:46Speaker 2: record collection. Oh made me realize that the things we
- 48:50Speaker 2: value most aren't usually the expensive stuff.
- 48:53Speaker 6: They might be things whose story's attached to them. So
- 48:56Speaker 6: he wraps up by saying, now, I'm.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Curious, what are your guys's two possessions that you could
- 48:59Speaker 2: never live without? I think you'd get some really great
- 49:03Speaker 2: stories out of people we love the show.
- 49:06Speaker 6: Did your work for you? Is how he ended it,
- 49:09Speaker 6: and that was Matt. That's what I say.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Thank you, Matt, Thank you Matt. And you're drunk friends,
- 49:13Speaker 2: that's very kind of you. So that's the question out
- 49:16Speaker 2: there this morning. What two possessions could you keep for
- 49:20Speaker 2: the rest of your life? You only get to pick two,
- 49:22Speaker 2: so you gotta think hard about this. What are the two?
- 49:25Speaker 6: And again, you can't.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Pick your dog, you can't pick your kids, you can't
- 49:28Speaker 2: see your house, like I want things, things that you
- 49:31Speaker 2: actually went out and God or you got his gifts.
- 49:33Speaker 6: Or or that you were handed down to you. And
- 49:36Speaker 6: like Matt, I was gonna say, my tragger definitely would
- 49:39Speaker 6: be one of mine. Man, I love that tragger. I
- 49:42Speaker 6: used it again this weekend, did yeah, smoking them and
- 49:45Speaker 6: then you.
- 49:45Speaker 5: Showed off with pictures. So I agree with you. I
- 49:48Speaker 5: think you need that in your life.
- 49:49Speaker 2: I think mine would be my trigger and my iPad
- 49:52Speaker 2: many probably.
- 49:53Speaker 5: Oh you're taking technology, that.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Damn iPad Many. It is the greatest little gadget I own.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Run into an iPad.
- 50:01Speaker 5: Many far away from the handheld, says.
- 50:02Speaker 2: I can well hold on to there, Well hold on yours. Yes,
- 50:05Speaker 2: I want to fill up phone lines. What are your possessions?
- 50:08Speaker 2: Your two possessions that you would take no matter what,
- 50:10Speaker 2: you can only have you can have them for the
- 50:12Speaker 2: rest of your life. Three oh three six nine one
- 50:15Speaker 2: one mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty
- 50:19Speaker 2: nine phone lines are already ringing. I love this, Yeah,
- 50:23Speaker 2: call in, let's have some fun with JKJ. Like a
- 50:26Speaker 2: couple of things I was thinking about, Like I've got
- 50:28Speaker 2: a winter jacket.
- 50:29Speaker 6: It's this area winter jacket that I absolutely love.
- 50:33Speaker 2: It's my most favorite jacket. I was thinking about choosing that.
- 50:37Speaker 2: I have some socks that I really loved to but
- 50:40Speaker 2: I went with my smoker and my iPad. Many What
- 50:44Speaker 2: are you guys picking your two possessions that you would
- 50:46Speaker 2: just not be able to live without? Three oh three
- 50:48Speaker 2: six nine one sixteen forty nine, Joshua, did you pick?
- 50:51Speaker 7: You know? I went, uh, not the digital route at all,
- 50:55Speaker 7: which is shocking for me. I have an old Bible
- 50:58Speaker 7: that I have just annotated the heck out of and
- 51:00Speaker 7: I love that and I'd be so devastated to lose that.
- 51:03Speaker 7: And then I have a handmade blanket made by my
- 51:05Speaker 7: grandma and I got that my mom. There's a picture
- 51:08Speaker 7: of me the day I was born and I'm swaddled
- 51:11Speaker 7: in it, like I'm wrapped up in it. And I've
- 51:12Speaker 7: had that my entire life and it's in my closet
- 51:15Speaker 7: right now. And if I were to ever lose that, like,
- 51:18Speaker 7: that's the thing I want to pass to my son.
- 51:19Speaker 6: Do you ever swaddle yourself with it?
- 51:21Speaker 11: Still?
- 51:21Speaker 7: Heck yeah, I do. It's so warm. That's the other
- 51:24Speaker 7: thing is it's so warm. It's actually like a massive blanket,
- 51:26Speaker 7: So it still fits me.
- 51:27Speaker 6: I love it. Yeah, I love it. And yes, I
- 51:30Speaker 6: swaddle myself.
- 51:31Speaker 5: I bet you do.
- 51:35Speaker 6: Don't do that while you're reading the Bible.
- 51:37Speaker 5: No. No.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Three three, six nine one, sixteen forty nine. What are
- 51:43Speaker 2: your two possessions? Here's Kimmy, Kim I kim good morning.
- 51:48Speaker 1: How are we doing well?
- 51:49Speaker 6: We're super dupes. What are you so?
- 51:52Speaker 1: Happy?
- 51:53Speaker 3: Week?
- 51:54Speaker 6: Happy?
- 51:55Speaker 8: What?
- 51:56Speaker 1: Fourth of a fourth of July week?
- 51:58Speaker 4: Oh?
- 51:58Speaker 6: Yeaheah, yeah you as well, thank.
- 52:01Speaker 3: You, thank you?
- 52:03Speaker 6: What do you? What are your two possessions?
- 52:06Speaker 1: So one, when I was a little girl, then I
- 52:09Speaker 1: grew up, my mom actually got because we're Cherokee tribe,
- 52:13Speaker 1: and my mom got those really pretty hair clip thingies
- 52:19Speaker 1: that they're handmade from like you know, different tribes or whatever.
- 52:23Speaker 1: So my mom got those, and I got them passed
- 52:25Speaker 1: on to me to me when my mom passed away,
- 52:27Speaker 1: So I have them tucked into my addresser. Those ones.
- 52:32Speaker 1: And then the second one is as I was growing up,
- 52:36Speaker 1: my dad was recovering alcoholic and so when he passed away,
- 52:40Speaker 1: I got his thirty two year chip and I hold
- 52:43Speaker 1: that close to me in my wallet. My car got
- 52:47Speaker 1: broken into last year down in Denver when they had
- 52:50Speaker 1: their Halloween parade, and I thought it got taken while
- 52:54Speaker 1: my purse got stolen. But come to find out, yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 1: I come to find out it was actually in my
- 53:00Speaker 1: other wallet that I didn't transfer to my new wallet,
- 53:03Speaker 1: so it was still in my dresser. So I had
- 53:05Speaker 1: a hard track. But then I found it as.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Like, yeah, you like carrying that you carry with you,
- 53:10Speaker 2: like kind of is a good luck charm?
- 53:12Speaker 5: Or yes, it's my wallet.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I carry it every day.
- 53:15Speaker 4: It's a big deal, like the fact that your dad
- 53:17Speaker 4: made thirty two years like I'd hang on to that too,
- 53:20Speaker 4: like it was just price solid.
- 53:22Speaker 6: Absolutely, Kim, those are good. Those are good ones.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 53:27Speaker 6: We appreciate you calling in and you have a great week.
- 53:30Speaker 4: You're welcome.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Be safe to second.
- 53:31Speaker 6: Thank you as well to buy. I promise no pop
- 53:35Speaker 6: bottle rockets in my butt this year.
- 53:36Speaker 5: Don't blow your hand off or your butt off me.
- 53:41Speaker 6: I see.
- 53:42Speaker 2: If we have a woman named Isis on the line,
- 53:44Speaker 2: we're gonna get to you. We had two other people
- 53:45Speaker 2: drop off. I want to talk to you guys. Three
- 53:46Speaker 2: oh three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Ashley wrote
- 53:50Speaker 2: in and said I would never give up my kindle and.
- 53:52Speaker 6: My weighted blanket.
- 53:54Speaker 5: Oh yeah, my.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Wife's got one of those. I love Chris.
- 53:58Speaker 2: He wrote in and said, I could ever give up
- 54:00Speaker 2: my seapap machine and my coffee maker.
- 54:07Speaker 4: See that's what I'm talking about. What are you actually
- 54:09Speaker 4: used that? You're like, I could not live without there.
- 54:12Speaker 2: If you're drinking that much coffee, maybe you don't, you know,
- 54:15Speaker 2: that's why you need the seapap machine. You're not sleeping
- 54:17Speaker 2: because you got so much caffeine in you. Maybe maybe
- 54:19Speaker 2: cut out the coffee. But my seapap machine and a
- 54:22Speaker 2: coffee maker. Microd in and said I could never give
- 54:25Speaker 2: up my PS five and my recliner.
- 54:28Speaker 6: Judge me all you want, Jacob.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Now that's real. That is real choice right there.
- 54:32Speaker 6: It's things that make you happy, you know. Three oh
- 54:34Speaker 6: three six nine one, sixteen forty nine. Your name is isis?
- 54:39Speaker 12: Yes it is. It's the name of the DECEIPTI goddess.
- 54:42Speaker 6: Oh duh, which is what you are obviously, Yes, So
- 54:48Speaker 6: what's up, goddess? What are the two things you're holding
- 54:50Speaker 6: on to?
- 54:51Speaker 12: For me? It's my dad's ashes and a journal that
- 54:55Speaker 12: he wrote for me.
- 54:56Speaker 6: Oh so good, Yes, it's in the journal, Like what
- 55:01Speaker 6: kind of stuff.
- 55:02Speaker 12: Basically like his day to day life with my mom
- 55:05Speaker 12: and what it was like while I was in her,
- 55:07Speaker 12: coming was like their excitement for me to come.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Oh boy, that beeps a seapat machine and a coffee
- 55:13Speaker 2: maker all day long.
- 55:14Speaker 5: That's a door happle.
- 55:17Speaker 12: And of carried on that tradition. And I have a
- 55:19Speaker 12: journal for my daughter and my nephew as well.
- 55:23Speaker 6: That's really cute. Katie's crying now.
- 55:25Speaker 5: I wrote, It's so so funny.
- 55:27Speaker 4: I wrote in a journal while I was pregnant with
- 55:29Speaker 4: my baby Nana, and I wrote to her almost every day,
- 55:31Speaker 4: and I was just like, this is how I'm feeling this.
- 55:33Speaker 4: I just can't wait to meet you. And I know
- 55:35Speaker 4: when she was old enough to read it, it meant
- 55:37Speaker 4: so much to her. She kept it and I hope
- 55:39Speaker 4: that she hangs on to it like you are, and
- 55:41Speaker 4: she cares about it as much as you do. Isis
- 55:43Speaker 4: because it's just so morewarming to me.
- 55:46Speaker 12: Yes, it means a lot. I'm so happy you did
- 55:48Speaker 12: the same.
- 55:49Speaker 6: So sweet. Oh, everybody's crying. Thanks a lot, so.
- 55:52Speaker 5: Great happy tears. Isis it's happy?
- 55:55Speaker 6: Thank you for calling in? Isis you have a great day.
- 55:58Speaker 6: It's so sweet. Page one was like I'm sorry you
- 56:01Speaker 6: were a mistake.
- 56:01Speaker 5: No, she was not that. Never you don't. You're a
- 56:04Speaker 5: happy little our happy.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Little Jenna wrote in and said I could never give
- 56:10Speaker 2: up my kitchen aid mixer and my pickleball paddle those
- 56:14Speaker 2: are pretty good.
- 56:16Speaker 6: We had a Katie write in.
- 56:17Speaker 2: She said I would uh forever hold onto my paddle
- 56:21Speaker 2: board and my bluetooth speaker.
- 56:23Speaker 6: I make every summer my bach.
- 56:28Speaker 5: That sounds like something my kid would say.
- 56:30Speaker 6: It's pretty good as well.
- 56:33Speaker 4: I was gonna say my grandma's blanket and Josh said
- 56:36Speaker 4: it can I Mine is so tattered and like my grandma, Uh,
- 56:41Speaker 4: it's it's the blanket that's the full like it's double sided,
- 56:45Speaker 4: and it's the weighted blankets as well, but from back
- 56:47Speaker 4: in the day.
- 56:48Speaker 5: And I've had this every day for.
- 56:50Speaker 4: My whole life, and it is tattered and squares are
- 56:52Speaker 4: coming off, but when I put it around me, it
- 56:55Speaker 4: makes me feel so comfortable.
- 56:56Speaker 6: It's like Grandma's holding you so safe.
- 56:58Speaker 4: When I have this blanket and I've had it my
- 57:00Speaker 4: whole life, so definitely that and then Zoe baby Nana,
- 57:04Speaker 4: she has given me a couple of necklaces that I'm
- 57:06Speaker 4: wearing one right now actually, and it's like my favorite.
- 57:10Speaker 5: It's a swarf Ski diamond crystal.
- 57:12Speaker 4: It's one of my favorite things, and every time I
- 57:14Speaker 4: look at it, it makes me smile because I think
- 57:16Speaker 4: of her. So I think that those would probably be
- 57:18Speaker 4: the things that I would hang on to. And then
- 57:21Speaker 4: if I couldn't take my grandma's blanket, it would be
- 57:23Speaker 4: my recipe box with all of my important things I did.
- 57:27Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Good one too. Yeah, yeah, I would take my actual grandma.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Would you take no peep the one that's dead though?
- 57:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's mamma fight on the couch. I probably
- 57:37Speaker 2: have to take her with me, for sure.
- 57:40Speaker 6: I don't want anyone fighting that. I like to give
- 57:43Speaker 6: you a little sports update from Mix one hundred and
- 57:47Speaker 6: Josh is our sports expert.
- 57:49Speaker 7: What you got, Well, the USA is just the the
- 57:52Speaker 7: World Cup, excuse me? Is the world the gift that
- 57:54Speaker 7: just keeps on giving. And the USA is taking on
- 57:57Speaker 7: Bosnia and Hersegovina on Wednesday, And oddly enough, there's a
- 58:01Speaker 7: million Bosnians that I've come to America and are finding
- 58:05Speaker 7: out just how unbelievably cool America actually is. And Jeremy,
- 58:09Speaker 7: you talked about this a little bit earlier. But there
- 58:11Speaker 7: are people that have come from all over the world,
- 58:12Speaker 7: even like Australia, and they're fight figuring out American foods
- 58:16Speaker 7: and seeing how good and fattening it actually is. And
- 58:20Speaker 7: one particular Bosnian man talked about how, even going through
- 58:23Speaker 7: a breakup with his longtime girlfriend, his life is great.
- 58:27Speaker 9: I haven't had a bad day since March twenty six.
- 58:29Speaker 9: We beat Wales March twenty six, and then a week
- 58:31Speaker 9: later we beat Italy. Swear to god man. Every single day,
- 58:34Speaker 9: coffee with my boys, drinks with my boys. My girlfriend
- 58:36Speaker 9: of six and a half years broke up with me.
- 58:38Speaker 9: I miss you a little bit, but yo, I'm telling you,
- 58:40Speaker 9: not a bad day. She broke up with me the
- 58:42Speaker 9: day after Whales. Every day has been a good day, bro.
- 58:45Speaker 9: She picked the perfect time to break up with me
- 58:47Speaker 9: because World Cup and all is good.
- 58:48Speaker 4: Dog?
- 58:49Speaker 6: Yeah, dog? Is he picking up on American labor, bro? Dog,
- 58:54Speaker 6: Dude's right.
- 58:56Speaker 7: It is so funny to see them picking up on
- 58:58Speaker 7: all of the things that we have seen every single
- 59:01Speaker 7: day of our lives, like the fact that we have
- 59:03Speaker 7: soda fountains here that give free refills and give you
- 59:06Speaker 7: a million options to choose it's like the wonderful Wizard
- 59:09Speaker 7: of Oz right now is granting all of their wishes.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Yeah, well you have like the English, they're like blasting
- 59:14Speaker 5: country music.
- 59:15Speaker 6: And writing barbecue.
- 59:17Speaker 4: And you got the people over in Boston loving the
- 59:19Speaker 4: Boston women like they love America in a way that
- 59:22Speaker 4: I think warms our hearts, Like we needed this right now,
- 59:25Speaker 4: We needed you to come to our country and tell
- 59:27Speaker 4: us how awesome the United States of America is.
- 59:30Speaker 6: So the Boston women, they love them really. Oh, the
- 59:34Speaker 6: Europeans are obsessed with them because they have Yeah. Yeah,
- 59:38Speaker 6: that's the thing about.
- 59:40Speaker 7: Like Europeans is they really do think all of us
- 59:42Speaker 7: have like the country accent, do you know? And then
- 59:44Speaker 7: they're figuring out that the Boston people talk a little
- 59:46Speaker 7: different and they're like, we love it.
- 59:48Speaker 4: And all I think of is ted when they make
- 59:50Speaker 4: fun of a member and they're like, and the Boston
- 59:52Speaker 4: women just stuff in their face full of Pepper's farm,
- 59:56Speaker 4: So like that's what we think.
- 59:57Speaker 5: But then you have these Europeans who.
- 59:59Speaker 6: Just love it.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: It's a good look for us, it is, and it's
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: happening during our two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. It's all
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: coming together and It's like a massive, great commercial showing
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: how good we are, and I'm like, we're finally happy
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: in the news again.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: Yes, tell me I'm pretty.
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: From the peaks and pipe to the pulseam Pearl Street.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: What's good world? This is where the buzz meets the altitude.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: Check it out.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: JKJ is a mile high hype on mixed one hundred starts.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: I went to Toy Story five this weekend. You did?
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: You got my fifty bucks? He kept the box office
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: crown this weekend seventy million bucks. That Toy Story movie
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: made day.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: I've heard a lot of good things.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: Really will get ready for some bad things. No, all
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: I'm saying is the one word to describe.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Toy Story five was unnecessary. It was purely a money
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: grab for sure. Kind of a boring basic story.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: Not a lot of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen in it,
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: if you ask me, Buzz and Buzz and Woody, the
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: two biggies not really main characters in this one. Mainly Jesse. Right,
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: It's Jesse, which is fine, but the story was, oh hum,
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: It's it's relevant because you know, there's a little girl
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: in it doesn't have any friends, and every all the
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: kids are on screens and stuff. It's very relevant, okay,
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: but boring. It's just boring.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Well, and that's disappointing because the people that I've heard
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: from say that it's almost as good if as the first.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: But people are on crack best one since the first,
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: is what I've heard.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: What you didn't like it though?
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: You and Cat's insanity? Yeah, yeah, not gonna lie. I
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: fell asleep for about ten minutes. It was just me
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: and my daughter, and she nudged me at one point
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: she said, hey, you fell asleep.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I was like, oh, sorry, maybe because it's so incredibly boring,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: is what I told her. No, even she was kind
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: of like, man, it was fine, it could be. It
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: could have been a straight to Disney. Plus for me,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: didn't have.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: To be that big of a deal. You're saying, yeah,
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: and there's.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: So many kids in that stupid thing, Well, yeah, so
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: many kids. I was so annoyed. I was like, why
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: are there so many kids here? Poor jermy porch And.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Then real quick, Noah, con the singer is just like Tick,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: who is our office manager.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: Here at work. He had to send out a message
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: to tell his fans to stop pooping on the bathroom
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: floors at his concerts. He says, don't do that. Be respectful.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: We have gotten so many emails from Tick.
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: It happens here too. You guys, take care of the bathrooms.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: Be adults. But yeah, true story. Noah Khan had to
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: tweet out stop pooping on the floors in my concerts.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: Oh gosh, I guess that's a thing.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Oh, you know, and you have to put out a memo.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: Somebody's done it.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: No offices everywhere have done the same to him.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: Thing, JAYZ.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: What else is going on locally?
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: So starting off with the fires over there on the
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: western slope, I mean definitely thinking of my friends in
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Grain Junction and that entire.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: Side of the state.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: The fires from Utah spread into Colorado over the weekend,
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: and I know Grain Junction specifically.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: They are in extreme fire risks.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: So if you look at a map, Grain Junction is
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: in the middle of a bunch of fires around it,
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: and so they are watching these fires. And then in Urray,
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: the Gold Mountain fire, I mean, if you look at
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: video of that, it is ominous.
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: And Uray is one of my favorite places in this
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: whole place.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: They've got Box Canyon Falls, they've got Mouse's chocolates. They've
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: got so many good things. So the pictures make me
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: so sad, and I really hope that they can get
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: ahead of these things in the next couple days, because
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: they say over on the Western Slope before June twenty six,
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: it had been thirty eight days without rain over there
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: or any kind of moisture.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: So it is dry, very dry across the entire state.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: So we're definitely thinking of all of our friends, family
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: and folks who are dealing with that right now. We
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: also have this let's see steamboat springs. So staying in
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: the mountains. What if you are getting ready to start
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: your day, You got your cup of coffee, you got
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: your car keys ready to go, you open your passenger
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: door and there's a bear in your drivers I know
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: it happened to a man, Andy Kerrigan, who was walking
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: in front of his home and about to put something
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: in his car when he was like, whoa wait a minute,
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: there's a bear in my front seat. And the bear
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: was like rummaging through stuff. And in the video you
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: could tell he is not fased at all by Andy.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: He's just like, it's up, there's trucks dust.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: He loved it. In there and he just kept rummaging
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: through everything.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: But he was able to kind of shoe him out
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: and he was, you know, up and back into the
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: high country there, back into his wild home.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: But this is bear season, so be careful.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Even if you're not in the mountains there out and about.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: I just saw a picture of there's a bear in
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: Highlands Ranch. They've given him a name.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: Have you seen this? Yeah, there's a Highlands Ranch bear.
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: I think his name's Nick or something, you know, Nick bear.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: But they have pictures of him just go going into
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: people's like flower gardens and up on their porches and
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: stuff like just crazy, are right now?
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: Let him smell the roses? And then how about this?
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: We just want to get the word out about Bishop Castle.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: They're not going to be doing that medieval fair that
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: was scheduled to go.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: Down August seventh.
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: I had tickets and everything. I knew that this happened.
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: You, Jeremy will Bishop Castle again.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: The story is the husband built the castle for his wife, Like, yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: most medieval.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Ever, what a jerk, ruining it for other husbands everywhere.
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: He really set the bar high with this.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: But he built his wife a castle down the street
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: and all you got me was the yogurt Land gift
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: card for our anniversary.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: Step up your games. You sound like you're speaking from experiencing.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: Okay, but the owner's her husband literally a castle. Can
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: you get me earrings from cold.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: The owner son, Daniel.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: He was out there trying to get the stuff ready
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: for the medieval festival.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: He was injured, no, seriously injured. So our thoughts of
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: fair out to Daniel.
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: Prince Daniel has been hooked, yes.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: And they had to scrap the festival because of it.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: So they're not going to have that medieval festival now.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: And it was a fundraiser.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: The Prince has been hooked.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: Yeah, but you can still donate to newborn heart surgery.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: That's where they're asking that you donate to, because that's
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: what it was supposed to benefit.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: But yeah, very how was he? I guess it was
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: one of the structures fell on here.
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: Yeah, it was pretty good sorrow to hear about how
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: thou hast suffered. Whoa, yeah, I know, just throw I know,
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: by the blessings of the Almighty, thou shalt recover and
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: do haste. I would imagine, you know, he's got.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: A couple surgeries, multiple broken bones. So their focus is.
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: Basically to bring him some virgins.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: He doesn't need virgins.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: He may made hole in haste thaturgy of the virgins
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: and peace.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: Jeremy, that's what we're asking for.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: Tease, fetch him, hi virgin.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: We just hope Daniel gets better and we get the
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: medieval festival at some point.
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: So there you go. There's your mouth high bank, Jeremy,
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: thank you.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: She's got the mic, the moxie, and a brain full
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: of doctor Phil Rey runs.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: She's on me lock the duft on a joom bug.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: But can you take down Katie in pop culture?
