- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice Shoot and hello, Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shoot. Every Monday, a dear friend,
- 0:20Speaker 1: Garrett very Good from Z one hundred joins us. Garrett
- 0:23Speaker 1: telling you there, Yes, Rob Shooter, Hello, Hello, Hello, hello darling.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We missed you last week. You are away the fourth
- 0:30Speaker 1: of July weekend celebrating, so we did a solo show.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I hate doing shows without you. I can talk a lot.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I can talk. You're very good at it. No, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: actually you're very good. I I listened as I was
- 0:41Speaker 1: floating on the lake in a tube that I almost
- 0:44Speaker 1: passed out from blowing up. That I just wish, like
- 0:47Speaker 1: when they sell those tubes at you know stores, for
- 0:50Speaker 1: like you know, pools, they come with like inflatable blowers.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know what. Maybe I'm so full of hot air.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Maybe I should do that when I'm not You're coming, Hey,
- 1:00Speaker 1: my friends, what time is it. Prince Charles actually did
- 1:04Speaker 1: give Prince Harry a substantial sum of money when he
- 1:08Speaker 1: left the Royal Families. If you remember, Prince Harry told
- 1:11Speaker 1: Oprah that he had quote literally been cut off financially.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Will now Prince Charles's staff have given journalists the financial
- 1:21Speaker 1: arrangements surrounding the Sussexes departure from their royal life, and
- 1:27Speaker 1: it says in the documents that the Prince of Wales
- 1:30Speaker 1: supported them with a quote substantial sum of money. We
- 1:34Speaker 1: don't know how much it is. So these expenditures, this
- 1:39Speaker 1: Royal Household figures numbers is published annually so you can
- 1:44Speaker 1: see it. So if you tell a little lies, if
- 1:47Speaker 1: you don't tell the whole truth when it comes to money,
- 1:50Speaker 1: there is a way to prove it. So I let
- 1:52Speaker 1: me be very clear here. Prince Charles and his staff
- 1:55Speaker 1: are not doing this to be mean to Harry and Megan.
- 1:58Speaker 1: But every year, and you Leah, they put out this
- 2:01Speaker 1: report and it shows how he spends the income from
- 2:05Speaker 1: the Duchy of Cornwall. That's basically where all the money
- 2:09Speaker 1: comes from. But you know they're not really a private business.
- 2:12Speaker 1: They're funded by the taxpayers, the Royal They work for
- 2:15Speaker 1: the people, Yes, basically work for us. So you have
- 2:17Speaker 1: to sort of prove where you're spending the money. Now,
- 2:20Speaker 1: I'm sure the Royal family do not like doing this.
- 2:23Speaker 1: No company, no business, no family wants to show you
- 2:27Speaker 1: our checkbook. I don't want you looking in my bank account.
- 2:29Speaker 1: But they sort of have to do it because they're
- 2:32Speaker 1: almost like a public company. Harry and Megan sat down
- 2:36Speaker 1: with Oprah. I understand it, lots of emotions, very angry.
- 2:41Speaker 1: They said several things that turned out not to be true,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and now today, Garrett, we find out a big whopper
- 2:48Speaker 1: another thing is not true. Does any of this matter
- 2:51Speaker 1: or at this point do we either like them or
- 2:53Speaker 1: we don't. I don't think it really matters, but I
- 2:55Speaker 1: think people are like more reason to jump on the
- 3:00Speaker 1: let's hate Harry Keys, you know what I mean, Like, oh,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, poor him, poor him, he just got to
- 3:05Speaker 1: pay out, blah blah blah blah blah. At the end
- 3:07Speaker 1: of the day, it's a business. It literally was as
- 3:10Speaker 1: much as it is family. As you and I talk
- 3:12Speaker 1: about all the time, it's a business. It is a business.
- 3:15Speaker 1: It is a business. That's what makes it so difficult.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I don't know if you're in business with your family.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Some people are their own companies together. I don't think
- 3:22Speaker 1: I could do it. It's just way, way, way too
- 3:24Speaker 1: complicated for me a spokesperson for Harry and make him
- 3:27Speaker 1: have clarified you know this trouble with you, But you
- 3:30Speaker 1: have to clarify her statement. You used to do that,
- 3:35Speaker 1: jess Because Simpson. When I went for Jessica Simpson should
- 3:37Speaker 1: always say stuff that was not true. But it wasn't
- 3:39Speaker 1: exactly true. But it's just she was so ditzy. She
- 3:42Speaker 1: didn't mean anything. Did you have to clarify the Chicken
- 3:45Speaker 1: of the Sea chicken ever? See, that was the best
- 3:46Speaker 1: thing she ever said. That made her a superstar? I know,
- 3:49Speaker 1: but did you ever did you have to clarify? We
- 3:51Speaker 1: enjoyed it. We had t shirts made. She was always
- 3:53Speaker 1: eating tune a chicken whatever it was, No, it was
- 3:56Speaker 1: her brand. But I did have to clarify once when
- 3:58Speaker 1: I was with Jessica Simpson. She's paid a ton of
- 4:00Speaker 1: money to be the spokesperson I think for Pizza Hut.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It was definitely a pizza Jessica decided to announce that
- 4:06Speaker 1: she was allergic to tomatoes. That did not go over
- 4:09Speaker 1: well with the pizza deals. She had to so a
- 4:13Speaker 1: spokesperson for Harry and Megan is clarified. And this is
- 4:17Speaker 1: where it gets really confusing. So what they're saying is
- 4:19Speaker 1: that when they spoke to Oprah, what they were referring
- 4:23Speaker 1: to is they were actually cut off in the first
- 4:26Speaker 1: quarter of the financial year that began at April. I
- 4:29Speaker 1: said that really fast, because it doesn't matter. It's just
- 4:31Speaker 1: all that minutia, like, oh, I didn't get up cut
- 4:33Speaker 1: off until after after April. But but but then before
- 4:36Speaker 1: April I got a lot, and then the day after
- 4:40Speaker 1: the check lid then I was cut off. So you
- 4:42Speaker 1: know what, I'm poor. So it does add a little
- 4:44Speaker 1: shady here. Also, to let's point out, Harry and Meghan
- 4:47Speaker 1: have signed a multi year production deal with Netflix. They're
- 4:50Speaker 1: still got to do a good show. Where's the Crown,
- 4:53Speaker 1: Where's a great show? Where's os Ark? I want him
- 4:55Speaker 1: to do a great show? Apparently they got a hundred
- 4:57Speaker 1: and fifty million dollars from that. They also signed a
- 5:01Speaker 1: streaming service with Spotify. I listened to their first podcast,
- 5:05Speaker 1: Garrett not great. I know they pointers take them from us,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, I mean maybe maybe not. And then also
- 5:14Speaker 1: to she has her children's book out, so don't worry.
- 5:16Speaker 1: They're making a lot of money. It brings us to
- 5:18Speaker 1: that bottle question of the day. Prince Charles actually gave
- 5:20Speaker 1: Harry a quote substantial sum. Now, if my dad says
- 5:25Speaker 1: he he gives me a substantial sum it's maybe a
- 5:27Speaker 1: hundred pounds. This is the royal family, so I'm thinking
- 5:31Speaker 1: substantial to Prince Charles means several million millions. I mean
- 5:36Speaker 1: they've got crown jewels, have got palaces, they've got all
- 5:39Speaker 1: this stuff. So it's a lot of It's not starting
- 5:42Speaker 1: to go fund me for anybody from the royals. They're
- 5:45Speaker 1: doing fine stantial amount of money for your family to
- 5:48Speaker 1: give you, Garrett, Like, my mom gave me a thousand
- 5:50Speaker 1: pounds ship Like, oh, that's a substantial amount of money.
- 5:54Speaker 1: What's a thousand pounds? Is that one? Two hundred dollars? Okay? Yeah,
- 5:58Speaker 1: so yeah, I think anything over a thousand dollars is substantial.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You know, if I've just been the hundred, I'm like, oh,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I feel it if it's less than a hundred. Like
- 6:06Speaker 1: if I go out drinking poos at fourteen, which I
- 6:08Speaker 1: did do on Friday with ms D, if the checks
- 6:11Speaker 1: below a hundred, I'm like, oh, great nights. I'm like, yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 1: anything anything below a hundred you feel like you're on
- 6:18Speaker 1: the dollar menu at like McDonald's. You know what I mean.
- 6:20Speaker 1: You're like, oh, this is nothing, But as soon as
- 6:23Speaker 1: it hits like one point one, you're like, no, we're
- 6:28Speaker 1: gonna have to split this rough night. But the question
- 6:31Speaker 1: is was it actually wrong of Harry to say he
- 6:34Speaker 1: was cut off? He has been cut off, but after
- 6:38Speaker 1: he got to turn a money. Votes on that Twitter
- 6:41Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice were about facebook pages what he
- 6:43Speaker 1: got here. But you to check back tomorrow to hear
- 6:47Speaker 1: your results, Darret Love, what are you working on? So
- 6:52Speaker 1: Justin Bieber getting himself back out there, both on stage
- 6:55Speaker 1: and the club. He pretty much took over Vegas. Vegas
- 6:58Speaker 1: was was the place to be apparently unless you're at
- 7:02Speaker 1: the euro Cup, uh this weekend where there was a
- 7:04Speaker 1: big fight on Saturday night, but there was. It was
- 7:07Speaker 1: pretty much the reopening of Las Vegas. You know, a lot,
- 7:10Speaker 1: a lot of events going on in Oh no, I
- 7:12Speaker 1: think we just lost Darret's table. Keep going and see
- 7:15Speaker 1: if he can join us a little bit later. So
- 7:17Speaker 1: back to Justin Bieber and Hayley Baldwin. They were in Vegas.
- 7:21Speaker 1: He performed in a club. He also did a show
- 7:24Speaker 1: at the Win Hotel. There's this little secret about Vegas
- 7:29Speaker 1: that when you're paid a ton of money to perform
- 7:31Speaker 1: in a hotel in Vegas, you're not allowed to go
- 7:34Speaker 1: into any other hotel, which is why Biber stayed at
- 7:39Speaker 1: the win. They were also spotted with Kendall Jenna, who
- 7:43Speaker 1: was there promoting her tequila brand, which is called eight
- 7:47Speaker 1: one eight Turquila. Now they old Justin Bieber would be
- 7:51Speaker 1: at party until four six eight in the morning. We
- 7:56Speaker 1: spotted him leaving around to a m and it looks
- 8:00Speaker 1: like he took all that money right back up to
- 8:03Speaker 1: his hotel room. He didn't. He didn't lose anybody. He
- 8:08Speaker 1: made a turn of money that night. Las Vegas is back.
- 8:12Speaker 1: This story made me a bit sad. It's quite a
- 8:14Speaker 1: complicated story, so I'll go through it slowly. Valerie Bertarelli
- 8:19Speaker 1: now regrets working for the diet culture. So Valerie shared
- 8:24Speaker 1: a really emotional video over the weekend. She was crying,
- 8:30Speaker 1: getting really really emotional after somebody commented noticed that she
- 8:36Speaker 1: had put on some weight. She ended the video calling
- 8:39Speaker 1: for everybody to have a little bit more empathy when
- 8:42Speaker 1: they see somebody who has gained some weight. I thought
- 8:46Speaker 1: that would be the end of the story. Oh no.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Now people are punching back, pointing out that Valerie was
- 8:54Speaker 1: once a pitch person for Jenny Craig, and they're saying
- 8:58Speaker 1: she actually added to the problem, a person wrote the
- 9:03Speaker 1: following quote, sorry, Valerie, you spend decades telling us to
- 9:09Speaker 1: get thinner, schilling weight, lost potions, snake oil, and now
- 9:16Speaker 1: you want to be a body shaming warrior. Well Valerie
- 9:21Speaker 1: saw this, and she responded saying, quote, I'm not a victim.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I can take the heat. I made the video so
- 9:29Speaker 1: I could get my feelings out instead of eating them,
- 9:32Speaker 1: which I normally do. And then she followed them with
- 9:36Speaker 1: a tweet really expressing regret for buying into the system
- 9:41Speaker 1: of diet culture and hyping that for women. Gosh, this
- 9:46Speaker 1: is a complicated, what isn't it? When I first saw
- 9:48Speaker 1: the video, stop it. It broke my heart to see
- 9:51Speaker 1: somebody this heard. Be really careful what you say about
- 9:55Speaker 1: other people, their weight, how they look, trying to be kind. Also,
- 9:59Speaker 1: they're too good for Valerie for admitting, you know what
- 10:02Speaker 1: I used to be part of the problem. If you
- 10:06Speaker 1: push diet pills, potions, they say, snake oil. If you
- 10:10Speaker 1: push that, it does make the argument a little bit
- 10:14Speaker 1: more complicated. But Valerie, Love, we are sending you our best.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So Hillary Baldwin, Hillaria, whatever we call her, Ah, she's
- 10:25Speaker 1: back again. So Alec Baldwin's wife is once again in
- 10:29Speaker 1: the middle of a cultural scandal. On Thursday, out of
- 10:34Speaker 1: the Blue, nobody made her do this, she shared a
- 10:37Speaker 1: lengthy post discussing being multicultural and quote, there are people
- 10:44Speaker 1: who want to deny others their right to belong. Now,
- 10:49Speaker 1: if you don't remember, earlier this year, Hillaria got in
- 10:54Speaker 1: a ton of trouble for misleading. That's been kind, some
- 10:57Speaker 1: people would say, lying to her fans about where she
- 11:02Speaker 1: comes from. She seems to imply, and I'm being kind here,
- 11:07Speaker 1: that she has direct routes to Spain, where in reality,
- 11:11Speaker 1: it turns out she's a white girl from Boston who
- 11:14Speaker 1: admires Spanish culture. Good for her, her father has an
- 11:18Speaker 1: undergraduate degree in Spanish literature, so obviously around a lot
- 11:24Speaker 1: of Spanish culture growing up. But she definitely played this
- 11:27Speaker 1: up and really misled people. She did interviews with magazines
- 11:32Speaker 1: where she claimed to be Spanish. Remember when she was
- 11:35Speaker 1: on the Today Show and she couldn't remember the name
- 11:38Speaker 1: of cucumber in English, She could only remember it in Spanish.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So she's been laying this on a little thick We
- 11:44Speaker 1: get it. You love Spain, who doesn't I love France.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I'd love to be French. I'm not. So she laid
- 11:50Speaker 1: it on just the little big too much. Then it backfired.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Well she's not learned her lesson because now she's posting essays.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Part of me thinks she enjoys the attention. I really
- 11:59Speaker 1: think that she joys all the drama of this. It's
- 12:02Speaker 1: like picking a scab off a wound. Wouldn't you made
- 12:05Speaker 1: a mistake? You say sorry, she did apologize, but why
- 12:08Speaker 1: are you going back to this again? Tread carefully, Tread carefully.
- 12:13Speaker 1: And then finally before we go to break, Olivia Jade
- 12:16Speaker 1: that's Laurie Luckling's daughter is responding to a jab that
- 12:20Speaker 1: was made against her on Gossip Girl. So the reboots
- 12:23Speaker 1: of Gossip Girl is out there. It looks fantastic. I
- 12:26Speaker 1: haven't seen it yet. I've seen some photographs from the
- 12:29Speaker 1: new set. The clothes look great. I used to love
- 12:31Speaker 1: that show. Well it is back, and they made fun
- 12:35Speaker 1: of Olivia Jade and the college admission scandal. In one scene,
- 12:39Speaker 1: a character says, quote, Olivia Jade gained followers when her
- 12:44Speaker 1: mom went to jail. Oh, well she saw this, and
- 12:50Speaker 1: so she posted the scene. And she also said no,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I didn't, so this is back in the press. Everybody's
- 12:59Speaker 1: to talking about Olivia Jade again. Maybe she should have
- 13:03Speaker 1: just ignored it. We did a little research to actually,
- 13:05Speaker 1: her Instagram followers remained pretty much unaffected by the news
- 13:09Speaker 1: of the scandals, but she did lose subscribers on her
- 13:11Speaker 1: YouTube page, and she did lose a lot of endorsement
- 13:16Speaker 1: from brands, lots of deals. So not exactly true, but
- 13:19Speaker 1: I think responding probably made it all a bit bigger.
- 13:22Speaker 1: We probably wouldn't be talking about it on this show
- 13:25Speaker 1: had Olivia not responded. Hey, we're going to take a
- 13:28Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 13:33Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host from Shooter.
- 13:37Speaker 1: We can't get Garrett back, but don't worry. We've got
- 13:39Speaker 1: lots lots more to get to. Hey, let's all get
- 13:42Speaker 1: together and get to the polls. Do DA. Thank you
- 13:46Speaker 1: very much for soundentrific. Angelina Joliah is taking brag Pitt
- 13:50Speaker 1: to court. It never ends, never ends, over the sale
- 13:54Speaker 1: of their French chateau and their wine business. Well these
- 13:57Speaker 1: two ever find peace? That was our question on Friday.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Let's see the result. Wow said No, They're never gonna
- 14:06Speaker 1: find peace. I totally agree. Although I think Brad could
- 14:09Speaker 1: find peace with Angelina, I don't think Angelina wants peace
- 14:14Speaker 1: with Brad. Don't forget to vote on today's poll. You
- 14:18Speaker 1: can go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robber.
- 14:21Speaker 1: At Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. You can leave a
- 14:24Speaker 1: comment there and be sure to check back tomorrow or
- 14:27Speaker 1: to hear your results. And now it's time for our
- 14:32Speaker 1: nicest of the day. Very very rare sighting of Ashley
- 14:39Speaker 1: Olsen spotted out hiking with her boyfriend, a machette and
- 14:43Speaker 1: a drig. Ashley's longtime boyfriend Louis Eisner, shared a rare
- 14:48Speaker 1: photograph of the former child star walking through the wilderness
- 14:52Speaker 1: on Instagram on Friday, and the snap she will see
- 14:55Speaker 1: interests all in white white linen. Why it's not a
- 14:58Speaker 1: practical color, is it when you're the wilderness? But there
- 15:01Speaker 1: you go. She's got on some black yeasy is Kanye
- 15:03Speaker 1: West sneakers, also black shades and our black hat and
- 15:07Speaker 1: a left hand it looks like she's holding a brown
- 15:10Speaker 1: liquid good for her. And in her other hand she's
- 15:13Speaker 1: got a machette. So we don't really get to see
- 15:17Speaker 1: her very much. It's great to see her I hope
- 15:20Speaker 1: she knows he's doing this. He's posted. I guess he
- 15:22Speaker 1: got promission. But this is the nicest of the day
- 15:25Speaker 1: because it's so so rare. The pictures up a naughty
- 15:28Speaker 1: gossip dot com and now it's time for a naughtiest
- 15:34Speaker 1: of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty. Brittney Spears,
- 15:39Speaker 1: his personal conservator, a lady named Jody Montgomery, is speaking
- 15:44Speaker 1: out fighting back against Brittney's dad after he seemed to
- 15:49Speaker 1: blame her for all Brittney's problems. So Jody is alleging
- 15:54Speaker 1: that Brittney's dad, Jamie, used more than two million dollars
- 16:00Speaker 1: of his daughter's money to fund his legal defense to
- 16:05Speaker 1: keep him as the conservator of the estate. In new
- 16:10Speaker 1: court documents that we've seen, it says the following quote.
- 16:14Speaker 1: No expenditures can happen without going through Mr Spears. So
- 16:19Speaker 1: although Jody is in charge of Brittany's personal life, all
- 16:23Speaker 1: the money, every penny has to be approved by her dad.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Jody says, several requests have been denied. So basically here,
- 16:33Speaker 1: what Jody is saying is that whoever's in charge of
- 16:35Speaker 1: the money is ultimately in charge of Brittany. If you
- 16:38Speaker 1: hold the purse strings, then you're the boss. Heyre and
- 16:43Speaker 1: naughtiest of the day. Nought, nort norty, naughty. And now
- 16:47Speaker 1: it's time for a moment of rob. You're gonna rob,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you gonna rob, you gonna rob. So for twenty minutes
- 16:52Speaker 1: or so, we like to make your laugh or giggle
- 16:54Speaker 1: with celebrity gossip. But for a moment, which is a
- 16:58Speaker 1: little bit more serious, kindness. Kindness can become its own motive.
- 17:03Speaker 1: We are made kind by being kind. That's as simple
- 17:08Speaker 1: as it is. If you want to be kind, be kind.
- 17:11Speaker 1: You're going to become a kind person by being kind.
- 17:15Speaker 1: To stop thinking about why and start thinking about when
- 17:20Speaker 1: and to whom you are going to be kind. You
- 17:24Speaker 1: don't need a reason, is what I'm trying to say.
- 17:26Speaker 1: To be kind, no reason at all. You don't need
- 17:29Speaker 1: a reason. Just be kind. The end results are always good.
- 17:36Speaker 1: That's it for today. Thank you so much for listening
- 17:40Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Garrett Show,
- 17:43Speaker 1: maybe half of Garrett Show. Today we're a production of
- 17:47Speaker 1: I Heart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on the I
- 17:51Speaker 1: heart Radio app, Apple podcasts wherever you listen. Hey, leave
- 17:57Speaker 1: us a review if you can. They really help. I
- 17:59Speaker 1: do love reading them. Thank you so much as a
- 18:01Speaker 1: very very kind new review I read just this morning.
- 18:04Speaker 1: It made me feel terrific, so thank you for that.
- 18:07Speaker 1: And remember, let's say this altogether. Now I need your help.
- 18:11Speaker 1: We don't have garrects, so it's just us naughties. Remember,
- 18:15Speaker 1: if you're going to be naughty, you've got to be nice.
- 18:21Speaker 1: You sound fantastic, Have a great day. It's not even
- 18:29Speaker 1: nice with bro
