- 0:43Speaker 2: my lesson on trying to be a cool mom yesterday
- 0:46Speaker 2: because and SO had some friends over and they were
- 0:48Speaker 2: playing outside, right, they had about an hour to play
- 0:51Speaker 2: thanks to you know what, time, their mom told me
- 0:53Speaker 2: they had to be home. So they're playing outside about
- 0:55Speaker 2: ten minutes till they need to be home, and I
- 0:58Speaker 2: hear the door open from the garage and one of
- 1:00Speaker 2: them needs to use the bathroom and I'm like, okay, cool,
- 1:03Speaker 2: no biggie, He's gonna go to the bathroom. Well, they
- 1:05Speaker 2: all sneak in and they got the sneaky looks on
- 1:07Speaker 2: their faces because I alreadyn told them like, we're not
- 1:09Speaker 2: playing inside today. You know we have company coming over.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Eric's mom is on our way.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know Enzo's birthdays tomorrow. So they sneak
- 1:19Speaker 2: into Enzo's playroom and I'm like, okay, they have to
- 1:21Speaker 2: be home in ten minutes. How bad could this get?
- 1:24Speaker 2: So I let them play in the playroom.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Oh no.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Two minutes later, drums are going.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's loud. I mean, it just sounds like chaos and there.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, I hear a big
- 1:34Speaker 2: crash and silence. Oh and I walk in there and
- 1:38Speaker 2: they're all just standing there like in shock, like upset
- 1:41Speaker 2: because they broke my ukulele that's hanging on the wall.
- 1:45Speaker 2: This is like a ukulele I bought in Toronto, Canada,
- 1:48Speaker 2: when I was there working.
- 1:51Speaker 3: It's been years ago, but this.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Was like a very special ukulele. Wasn't a toy. Yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 2: And the whole neck of it or arm, whatever you call.
- 1:58Speaker 3: It's just broken off.
- 1:59Speaker 2: The strings are all everywhere. It was like so owd, what.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Happens when you get mad, because I don't think I've
- 2:04Speaker 1: ever seen in like twenty five years. I only see
- 2:06Speaker 1: it get mad like once do you say, like do
- 2:07Speaker 1: you scream fiddlesticks?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Well, since we had you know, kids over, you've seen
- 2:13Speaker 2: me mad.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I mean I don't know if I've seen you mad mad. Yeah,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I've seen you upset for you. Yeah, but you don't
- 2:20Speaker 1: really get Cannis doesn't really get mad mad.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Well I've sat there with my hands on my face.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Like in shock.
- 2:26Speaker 3: It was like I was on pause.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I didn't like to say yeah, because I love these
- 2:31Speaker 2: two kids that were over. They're like Enzo's buddies from
- 2:33Speaker 2: down the street where friends with their family. You know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: they're very sweet kids. And I was just like, okay,
- 2:39Speaker 2: just put your shoes on. I need you to be
- 2:41Speaker 2: home on time. They all just like drop their heads.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And walk the walk of shame.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they did that all the way home.
- 2:47Speaker 3: And then their mom texts me.
- 2:48Speaker 2: They told me.
- 2:48Speaker 3: About your thing, how much does it cost? So I
- 2:51Speaker 3: was like, no, no, no, it was an accident.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Was nobody's fault, priceless idiot, yeah, just kid.
- 2:56Speaker 2: She felt so bad, but I'm like, it's nobody's fault.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I told Enzo not to wreck the playroom and direct
- 3:01Speaker 2: the playroom. But it's fine.
- 3:03Speaker 1: You always remember that one thing you break as a kid,
- 3:05Speaker 1: Like I remember breaking something when I was a kid
- 3:07Speaker 1: that was so special to my mom, and I still remember.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It was some bass, really, but I still remember to
- 3:13Speaker 1: this day how bad I felt.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Well, that's kind of how I felt.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I was like, this was a moment in parenting where
- 3:17Speaker 2: I thought, he's going to remember this, his friends are
- 3:19Speaker 2: going to remember this.
- 3:20Speaker 3: How do I handle this? Remember it?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah? You get quiet when you get mad.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I couldn't pop off. I'm like the neighborhood kids,
- 3:28Speaker 2: and I don't really do that, but kind normally would
- 3:31Speaker 2: have been.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Like ends a ray, like you know, name name for sure.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I dropped his middle name and some stuff, but I
- 3:38Speaker 2: just played it cool and just didn't say anything. Thomas,
- 3:45Speaker 2: it can be fixed.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That middle name. When he dropped that middle name, that's
- 3:48Speaker 1: not a good And what did you call it?
- 3:50Speaker 5: Again?
- 3:51Speaker 1: What is it? What was it?
- 3:51Speaker 2: The broken't.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Know what it is, but I've never heard it said
- 3:57Speaker 1: that way.
- 3:57Speaker 2: How do you say it?
- 4:00Speaker 3: Ukulele?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:01Speaker 3: Ukulele?
- 4:02Speaker 2: H wow, my coffee.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You might be saying it right. I might be saying
- 4:08Speaker 1: it wrong.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I don't actually know.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It's a very small guitar.
- 4:12Speaker 1: How do you say it? Ukulele, That's what That's what
- 4:16Speaker 1: I say too. I've never heard it called the ukulele
- 4:19Speaker 1: Canda Hawaiian. That's what I was going to say. But
- 4:23Speaker 1: she got it from Hawaii, but she got it from Toronto.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I was there on a special work project with the
- 4:28Speaker 2: little girl who played and she was like meeting the
- 4:31Speaker 2: Jonas brothers. It was like this whole thing for Disney
- 4:33Speaker 2: Channel that I did back in the day. And she
- 4:35Speaker 2: took me into the shop where we were filming this thing.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It was a music store, and she picked.
- 4:39Speaker 2: One out for me.
- 4:39Speaker 1: She called it Luca Ukulele.
- 4:41Speaker 2: No, actually, okay, So I'm gonna look it up on
- 4:44Speaker 2: the Google and make them.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Say thank you.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 4:51Speaker 1: That's how he calls what's it called? Pooshiami Shimmi. Yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: it's his favor. What's up?
- 5:00Speaker 6: And yesterday my little sister Morgan surprised me with my
- 5:04Speaker 6: favorite Henderson's chicken.
- 5:06Speaker 1: She normally eats healthy. Wow, he's gonna say she normally
- 5:10Speaker 1: eats healthy. But she was like, bro, I'm cruising through
- 5:13Speaker 1: the hood. I'm gonna pick us up lunch.
- 5:15Speaker 6: I was like, oh yeah, because she's bougie, you know,
- 5:19Speaker 6: and she's like Candice healthy veggies and stuff.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, yeah, pick me up something.
- 5:24Speaker 6: She dropped it off yesterday and I was like, She's like,
- 5:28Speaker 6: I only got one wing for me.
- 5:29Speaker 1: That's it. One way. I was like okay. But it
- 5:33Speaker 1: was so funny. I was walking through that greased up
- 5:36Speaker 1: brown paper sass and you see that coming. Everybody in
- 5:40Speaker 1: here was like, Henderson's Fried Chicken is so good. He
- 5:43Speaker 1: brought it up here. Yeah, she dropped it off up here.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I was like, thanks, I mean, the bag is so greasy.
- 5:50Speaker 1: He's about to fall Fred. You know what's good with
- 5:53Speaker 1: the bag? It's grease. Whatever happened to my favorite place
- 5:56Speaker 1: back in the day. I don't think it's around anymore.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Spain Out, It's gone. Spain's Fried Chicken back. Oh oh
- 6:04Speaker 1: it was good. But the first time I went there
- 6:06Speaker 1: was the funniest experience ever. I pulled up to Spain's
- 6:09Speaker 1: and it was this little building off thirty five by Parkland.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I think I think it was by Parkland, Yeah, either way,
- 6:17Speaker 1: So I pull up and it's this little shack and
- 6:18Speaker 1: people like it's the best fried chicken ever. And I
- 6:20Speaker 1: was like, oh, I gotta try. So I pull up
- 6:22Speaker 1: and I pull up to the window and I'm thinking
- 6:24Speaker 1: it's like this where you order through the drive through,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and it was a actual window, so I was like, oh.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So a guy comes out and he's like, hey, can
- 6:30Speaker 1: I take your order? And I was like, oh, sure,
- 6:32Speaker 1: So I give him my order. He says all right,
- 6:34Speaker 1: pull around, and I pulled around to the other window
- 6:37Speaker 1: and the same guy pops out another window and he goes,
- 6:39Speaker 1: here you go. I was like, wait, you're and I go, oh, okay,
- 6:46Speaker 1: all right.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Why did we both go over there?
- 6:48Speaker 1: That's exactly what I said. It was so funny because
- 6:51Speaker 1: Milly was like, wait a minute, I go just he
- 6:54Speaker 1: was taking the order, making the chicken. Then we'll go
- 6:57Speaker 1: to the other side of the building and give it
- 6:58Speaker 1: to you out the other window. Whatever works.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Oh that chicken was so man oh chicken like that. Yeah,
- 7:09Speaker 1: me too. I need new friends. We cook fried chicken.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Let's tough Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid
- 7:16Speaker 1: in the.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Morning only on the New Mixed one O two point nine.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Let's go Candice Lowpez what is going on?
- 7:22Speaker 4: Well?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Multiple rounds of rain are expected starting midday.
- 7:25Speaker 3: To afternoon later.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Rain is possible pretty much all weekend into Memorial Day,
- 7:29Speaker 2: but the chances are around twenty percent, so.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I know, but that's that's more than we need.
- 7:34Speaker 2: No, come on, really, yeah, it might be perfect though,
- 7:36Speaker 2: you never know.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I know, at some point in this summer though, we're
- 7:39Speaker 1: gonna be complaining about how there's no rain.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's coming.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Sure, I guess we need this. But like yesterday was
- 7:45Speaker 1: all nasty and then it was sunny out of nowhere. Yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I think that's how it's gonna be this weekend.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Pa, it might be. Yeah, we'll keep our fingers crossed.
- 7:50Speaker 2: We're gonna get up to seventy eight today. It's already
- 7:53Speaker 2: seventy outside right now. And Keller police are warning people
- 7:57Speaker 2: of dangerous usage of e bikes after molt incidents involving
- 8:01Speaker 2: younger riders, so they released some dashcam footage of several
- 8:05Speaker 2: teenagers speeding and evading officers on these e bikes. I
- 8:09Speaker 2: guess they were going down Johnson Road, but this video
- 8:12Speaker 2: is wild. Keller ped is asking parents to please educate
- 8:16Speaker 2: your kids on the rules for riding e bikes, like
- 8:19Speaker 2: wearing helmets and staying under fifteen miles per hour on trails.
- 8:23Speaker 2: But in this dashcam footage you just see like these
- 8:25Speaker 2: kids going on the street, onto the sidewalk, bast and forth.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's bad right now. I had to have
- 8:30Speaker 1: talk with my son because you know, we have e bikes. Yeah,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and they're fun because I'm a big kid at heart.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But I'm telling you right now, I see so many
- 8:37Speaker 1: kids ride e bikes without.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Helmets, same and they're popping wheelies and doing all these
- 8:41Speaker 2: things everywhere.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And I'm like, am I just old because I know, listen,
- 8:44Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't wear a helmet as a kid
- 8:47Speaker 1: because nobody did.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's just the way it was. I'm not
- 8:51Speaker 1: saying it was right, that's just the way it was.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But these e bikes are going thirty miles an hour.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so nobody paying attention.
- 8:58Speaker 1: You gotta wear a helmet. Tell my son, if I
- 9:00Speaker 1: see you without a helmet, I'm taking it away.
- 9:03Speaker 2: No, I think that's the right move. They actually banned
- 9:05Speaker 2: them from the park by our house because kids were
- 9:07Speaker 2: doing crazy stunts out there and there's a bunch of
- 9:09Speaker 2: elevation and but yeah, it's a serious thing, so, you know,
- 9:13Speaker 2: and we sound old. Yeah, we didn't have e bikes
- 9:16Speaker 2: either to have the type of speed.
- 9:19Speaker 1: We didn't have e bikes if we were lucky, if
- 9:21Speaker 1: we had pegs right right, you know, oh, two kids on.
- 9:24Speaker 1: We also a road in the back of trucks we did. Yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 1: eighties and nineties kids were built. And I know people
- 9:31Speaker 1: nowadays get annoyed when people say that, because you know,
- 9:34Speaker 1: our parents said that back in the day and they
- 9:35Speaker 1: were right though.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and our kids will be right one day with
- 9:38Speaker 2: whatever their.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Kids, Yeah, they will be yeah.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Oh you guys, just take it easy out there. Listen
- 9:42Speaker 2: to this, guys. The new survey shows the average American
- 9:45Speaker 2: says the real start of summer is May twenty first,
- 9:48Speaker 2: which is today. Summer doesn't officially start until June twenty first,
- 9:53Speaker 2: but today is the day most people say. We're usually
- 9:55Speaker 2: in summer mode. Yeah, so expect to see more people
- 9:59Speaker 2: out in the They're.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Not necessarily wrong in Texas if you don't know, summer
- 10:03Speaker 1: could start in April. Yeah, it might start in December, right,
- 10:06Speaker 1: It also might end the same day it start to fall,
- 10:09Speaker 1: So you never know what's going to happen here.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, we had our end of school party yesterday,
- 10:13Speaker 2: and now it feels like, you know, today's last day.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Summer's here for sure.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, summers started, Yeah, guys.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Glenn Powell says a woman on TikTok went on a
- 10:22Speaker 2: mission to eat a picture of him every day. She
- 10:26Speaker 2: was hoping he would notice her and give her a
- 10:29Speaker 2: part in a movie. I guess her name is Monique,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and she met him at the premiere of his movie
- 10:33Speaker 2: The Running Man, and she asked him to sign a
- 10:36Speaker 2: picture of him and then ate it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Okay, we're not talking about an edible picture, we're talking
- 10:41Speaker 1: about an actual picture.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Well, she says that the paper was plant based and
- 10:44Speaker 2: one hundred percent edible. But she did this for nearly
- 10:47Speaker 2: five months, trying to get his attention.
- 10:49Speaker 1: My gosh, what I'm doing.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't appear that she's still doing it. Her
- 10:54Speaker 2: last video was posted last year doing this, but I
- 10:58Speaker 2: guess it was labeled day one and thirty nine, So one.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And thirty nine days in a row of eating a.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Picture picture of Glenn Powell.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Oh, come on, is this what I gotta do to
- 11:08Speaker 1: be with Ella Langley?
- 11:09Speaker 2: I mean, we could try it.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I just eat a picture of her every day, every
- 11:13Speaker 1: day and then what Then she's like, thanks, yeah he
- 11:18Speaker 1: was WEIRDO, now I get her restraining order against me.
- 11:21Speaker 1: What is gonna say, like, if a guy was doing
- 11:23Speaker 1: this would be extra creepy.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, you know, I don't know.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Who'd you do that for? Sophia Sofia Bagar. Yeah, well
- 11:31Speaker 1: you'd eat anything for fun. Idiot Sugar put a sour
- 11:38Speaker 1: patch kid in that picture. Yeah, he'll eat it. Yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 1: that's not good. That's why I always watched that strange
- 11:44Speaker 1: addiction show. Did you see the one where the woman
- 11:47Speaker 1: was addicted to eating her mattress? What? Yeah?
- 11:50Speaker 5: Why?
- 11:51Speaker 1: I don't know. There was a part of her mattress
- 11:52Speaker 1: that was like foam that she would pick at and
- 11:55Speaker 1: just eat it.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:56Speaker 1: There was another woman who was addicted to eating chalk.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Another woman who was down he was a powder when
- 12:01Speaker 1: you show powder, she was eating baby powder. Oh, baby powder.
- 12:04Speaker 1: One girl was obsessed with sleeping with her hair dryer O.
- 12:08Speaker 1: What yeah, And her husband was like, I'm just worried
- 12:10Speaker 1: there's going to be a fire one day. She sleeps
- 12:13Speaker 1: with her hair dryer on every day, and it's like yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: it's like really and she's just cuddled up with her
- 12:18Speaker 1: hair dryer.
- 12:19Speaker 2: What in the world you know?
- 12:20Speaker 1: I thought I was lonely.

- 12:25Speaker 2: Those are your Texas.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Top stories, Dirty Little Secret at seven thirty. That just
- 12:37Speaker 1: calmed me down. That was like a bubble bath from
- 12:39Speaker 1: my ears. That's yeah, I feel so calm now. You know,
- 12:43Speaker 1: we get out of a little bath, you're just like
- 12:45Speaker 1: kind of yeah, floppy. Yeah, that's how I feel right now.

- 14:58Speaker 1: they're all kind of crazy, they are. It might be
- 15:01Speaker 1: tough today, Cannis, would you like to go first or
- 15:03Speaker 1: would you like to pass it to Clarence?
- 15:06Speaker 2: I passed it yesterday, so I'm gonna go first today.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Lock me in for the first story, the bes of
- 15:11Speaker 2: the X Barbecue.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Okay, you want to lock that in?
- 15:13Speaker 4: That in?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Sure? You don't want to pass it to the poo
- 15:15Speaker 1: poo Clarence, AKA, I don't feel okay, all right, yah?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Locked that in?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Lock it in.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Sounds like something out of your mind. It is locked
- 15:24Speaker 2: in that you wish happened.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I am absolutely offended. Now, sounds like something out of
- 15:30Speaker 1: your mind. Yeah? Wow? Does shots fired? Okay, you were
- 15:35Speaker 1: locked in? Producer Pooh, which one do you think is
- 15:37Speaker 1: the fake story?
- 15:38Speaker 6: Lock me in for that second story that guavas growing
- 15:40Speaker 6: in the mouth. That's fag bro, All right, lock me in?
- 15:44Speaker 1: You sure? Yes? All right? Lock that in. It is
- 15:48Speaker 1: officially locked in. And the winner today is I think
- 15:51Speaker 1: yesterday I won. Yes, use you both missed the fake story.
- 15:53Speaker 1: But today, that is not the case. Canis is the winner?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Congratulations can you one as usual? Congrats to you. Now, yes,
- 16:05Speaker 1: that's a fake story. How did you know that was
- 16:06Speaker 1: my mind?
- 16:07Speaker 2: I don't know. I just I think that's something that
- 16:09Speaker 2: you wish had happened, or you'd come up with. I'm
- 16:12Speaker 2: so as a plan of bee you know, if anything
- 16:14Speaker 2: ever goes down.
- 16:15Speaker 1: I'm so borderline offended by Yeah, if.
- 16:19Speaker 3: You need revenge, you just have that all lock.
- 16:21Speaker 1: A woman arrested after releasing a swarm of bees into
- 16:23Speaker 1: a boyfriend's backyard barbecue. Feels like that would be excellent revenge, though,
- 16:27Speaker 1: if you were a bee keeper. Yeah, which I didn't
- 16:29Speaker 1: even know there was people that could come out and
- 16:31Speaker 1: not get rid of the bees. They take the bees
- 16:33Speaker 1: for you. Oh so yeah, that's like a whole thing.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Wow.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I didn't know that they won't just kill the bees
- 16:38Speaker 1: because bees are you know, Yeah, we need them, there
- 16:40Speaker 1: are friends. Yeah, until they sting you. He's still I
- 16:45Speaker 1: got stung by bees and I didn't swat him and
- 16:47Speaker 1: kill him because I was trying to save the bees. Billy,
- 16:50Speaker 1: save the beast, zaps me, stupid bee.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Sorry all right.
- 16:54Speaker 1: The real headlines. A man went to the dentist and
- 16:56Speaker 1: found out he had a live guava seed sprouting and
- 17:00Speaker 1: side of his cavity. Is a real story. Can you
- 17:02Speaker 1: even imagine This guy goes to the dentist after days
- 17:06Speaker 1: of pain because he had a toothache. He's like, I
- 17:07Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. He expected to hear that
- 17:09Speaker 1: he had a cavity, needed a filling, whatever, But when
- 17:12Speaker 1: they took X rays, it left everybody stunned because deep
- 17:15Speaker 1: inside his decayed tooth was a guava seed that somehow
- 17:20Speaker 1: became trapped and started sprouting. This dude had a whole
- 17:24Speaker 1: garden in the back of his mouth. Man, that actually happened.
- 17:30Speaker 1: It's wild, but if you think about it, it's like
- 17:33Speaker 1: the perfect little spot for something to sprout. Yeah, it's warm,
- 17:37Speaker 1: it's moist, it's a lot well, I mean it's dark. Yeah,
- 17:41Speaker 1: you know, I don't know either way. The dennis carefully
- 17:44Speaker 1: removed the tooth and the tiny sprout and they planted
- 17:47Speaker 1: the sprout behind the dentist's office. That crazy. That is disgusting.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I mean, if you're his girlfriend or wife, you're like, dude,
- 17:59Speaker 1: can you get it together. You had a whole plant,
- 18:01Speaker 1: you had a whole plant in your mouth. How do
- 18:03Speaker 1: you not know that? Say? Ah and look you got
- 18:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's a tree back there. Man, Give him
- 18:10Speaker 1: a something, Get him some listerine to kill me. Yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 1: get him a water pick, get him some pesticide, some
- 18:16Speaker 1: round up. Oh god, I don't know all right? This
- 18:19Speaker 1: story Indiana man dancing in the street arrested for holding
- 18:22Speaker 1: a turtle and meth. Indiana Conservation officers responded to a
- 18:27Speaker 1: report of a man dancing in the roadway in Harrison County. Uh,
- 18:31Speaker 1: they got more than they bargained for. The man was Yes,
- 18:34Speaker 1: he was dancing, but he was holding an Eastern box turtle,
- 18:37Speaker 1: which is illegal to collect from the wild in Indiana.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Officers then discovered he's also carrying pipe and drug paraphernalia.
- 18:46Speaker 1: He was booked into jail on drug charges. Eastern box
- 18:49Speaker 1: turtles are not federally endangered, but they're considered rare throughout
- 18:52Speaker 1: the Midwest, so they're protected. So he was also charged
- 18:55Speaker 1: for holding an endangered turtle. Can you imagine Joe, because
- 19:01Speaker 1: you're holding it in danger? Turtle? No, what is going
- 19:04Speaker 1: on with this guy? See? This is exactly why kids,
- 19:07Speaker 1: if you're listening, I've never done a drug in my life.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I'm messed up as it is. Don't do drugs because
- 19:13Speaker 1: you do the most ridiculous things and stupid things on earth. Yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 1: what are you doing?
- 19:18Speaker 2: Maybe it was just a big turtle fan, you know
- 19:20Speaker 2: how you grow up with those kids like you had
- 19:22Speaker 2: dolphins on your notebooks and posters and maybe just you
- 19:26Speaker 2: know is.
- 19:27Speaker 3: A turtle guy.
- 19:28Speaker 1: The turtle Cannicnow, I hate to break it to here,
- 19:33Speaker 1: but no tattoos turtle. There are people who love turtles,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and I get it. There's turtle races, yeah, which I don't.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Oddly I want to go to one. Actually I've been
- 19:43Speaker 1: to one. You've been to a turtle race? And for Worth? Okay,
- 19:47Speaker 1: shout out to my friend Corey and Emial. They have
- 19:49Speaker 1: turtle races in for Worth.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Did it take a long time?
- 19:53Speaker 1: I think on Sundays, Yeah, it takes forever. It's like
- 19:56Speaker 1: watching poo walk across the street. Good morning, it's bailly
- 20:02Speaker 1: to kid. Candice Slopez is here, producer Pooh is here?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Is there something that shouldn't be embarrassing but it is
- 20:08Speaker 1: embarrassing to you? And I say that because I realized
- 20:12Speaker 1: something that gets me so embarrassed, and I don't know why,
- 20:15Speaker 1: because it's not even a big deal at all. It's
- 20:18Speaker 1: embarrassing for no logical reason. But when it happens to me,
- 20:21Speaker 1: it is so cringe and I always think, oh, why
- 20:23Speaker 1: are you doing this? And you know what it is.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It's when somebody holds the dole door for you but
- 20:29Speaker 1: you're too far away. Why to me, is that one
- 20:34Speaker 1: of the cringiest, most embarrassing things, Because then I gotta
- 20:38Speaker 1: I gotta kind of do that weird run.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you start to jog a little bit, let him
- 20:41Speaker 3: know you see them.
- 20:42Speaker 1: It happened to me yesterday and I almost told the guy, like,
- 20:45Speaker 1: don't worry about it. I was so and it's so nice. Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's so nice of them. But then you do that
- 20:50Speaker 1: like awkward, weird like jog. It's not a jog because
- 20:53Speaker 1: you don't want to run. That looks stupid. Right, then
- 20:56Speaker 1: I start jogging. I'm like, how embarrassing, just enough to
- 20:59Speaker 1: let him know, see you. I appreciate it. I appreciate you.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I see you, right, I'm recognizing you.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to speed up a little.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Bit, but now I'm going to do this awkward little
- 21:07Speaker 1: baby run. Then other people are watching me. Do a
- 21:10Speaker 1: little baby run to the door, and that's so yeah
- 21:14Speaker 1: for sure. Well do you have something like that? Like,
- 21:17Speaker 1: what is a normal thing that feels so embarrassing when
- 21:20Speaker 1: it happens.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah. I realized this when we went to Starbucks the
- 21:22Speaker 2: other day with my niece, because you.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Know, when you're crowded around the little spot.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Where they give the drinks out and when they call
- 21:27Speaker 2: your name, I don't know, so so embarrassing about it.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I absolutely understand that. Then you've got to do that
- 21:32Speaker 1: little walk up.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 3: No, everybody knows my name.
- 21:35Speaker 2: They know my order has like extra whip on it
- 21:38Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And they like sometimes scream it.
- 21:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Then you feel guilty if you get called before somebody
- 21:43Speaker 1: else who's been waiting there, right, Yeah, I think this
- 21:46Speaker 1: is my excuse me. I think it's excuse me.
- 21:48Speaker 3: That's me, excuse me.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Let me let me speech by.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah exactly.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Okay, that's a good one, pood you got one. Yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 6: I get embarrassed like in that a certain situation because
- 21:57Speaker 6: not everybody knows my government name.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Oh okay, oh they do, Clarence.
- 22:02Speaker 6: So sometimes like when I've been like in Chipotle or
- 22:05Speaker 6: somewhere like that and they're like order for Brian, and
- 22:07Speaker 6: I'm like, yeah, I'm embarrassed.
- 22:09Speaker 1: What are you ordering that Chipotle has to call your order?
- 22:12Speaker 1: What what do you mean? I've never had Chipotle call
- 22:15Speaker 1: my order like that.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Yeah, even Chick fil A when I've when it's been
- 22:19Speaker 6: me and the kids order for Brian and I gotta,
- 22:21Speaker 6: I gotta go up and pick up everybody's.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Really Yeah, yeah, I think so at Chipotle, Chipotle.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Chick fil A, Yeah, yeah, they'll do it.
- 22:29Speaker 2: You're doing to order?
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's big back special. If you got one,
- 22:35Speaker 1: call up eight three three seven eight seven nine, or
- 22:39Speaker 1: at Billy on the radio. And I'm already getting some
- 22:41Speaker 1: d ms. And this is another funny thing, Carlo said.
- 22:44Speaker 1: When I have to parallel park, I get so embarrassed.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Oh it's the worst.
- 22:48Speaker 1: That is a normal thing. That is very embarrassing if.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Someone's standing next to the parking spot I want. Sometimes
- 22:52Speaker 2: I'll just keep going.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I had. I kept going. The
- 22:55Speaker 1: other day. I was in the most cringiest embarrassing situation
- 22:59Speaker 1: to me. I had to parallel park. But it was
- 23:02Speaker 1: on Main Street in Grapevine in front of a patio.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Oh no, so everybody was watching me, so obviously, I
- 23:09Speaker 1: do what any normal person does. You turn your radio,
- 23:11Speaker 1: downturn the radio, all your windows down, and I'm backing in.
- 23:15Speaker 1: And I knew right off the bat that I was
- 23:17Speaker 1: going to miss that first and I just skirted out
- 23:22Speaker 1: and I left and I parked three blocks away because
- 23:26Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm not doing this. No, I'm not doing it,
- 23:29Speaker 1: not doing And I saw there was like four dudes
- 23:32Speaker 1: on the patio that were just watching, like, here we go. Yeah,
- 23:35Speaker 1: I just in my head. All they were saying is
- 23:36Speaker 1: let's see if he's a real man.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Ever since that person went viral, didn't you see them
- 23:41Speaker 2: doing the same thing next to a patio?
- 23:42Speaker 3: And then everyone started cheering.
- 23:45Speaker 2: It took it like three turns, three times to get it.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Okay, this is a good one too, A normal thing
- 23:51Speaker 1: that feels embarrassing. And I don't know why this is
- 23:53Speaker 1: so true. Eric sent this in when I that I
- 23:57Speaker 1: have to try and shoes at the store. Why why
- 24:02Speaker 1: is that embarrassing?
- 24:03Speaker 3: It's awkward.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I always they always say.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Do you need some help or whatever.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I'm like, no, I'm good, I'll put the shoe on myself, right,
- 24:09Speaker 2: But they're.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Kind of helping you. But you can obviously put on
- 24:12Speaker 1: your own shoes, so then they're hovering over you. But
- 24:15Speaker 1: how about when you were a kid and your your
- 24:17Speaker 1: mom would make you try on so try on shoes,
- 24:20Speaker 1: and then you had to do like that run down
- 24:21Speaker 1: the aisle, running down the payliss. I think I am,
- 24:30Speaker 1: but you had to do it. Let's see if they fit.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Take a little run down the aisle, and I'd run
- 24:34Speaker 1: down there, my little husky self too, all fast. And
- 24:39Speaker 1: now I still to this day, I will not try it.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I hate trying things on. I will rather go home.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It doesn't fit, I'm bringing it back right, so I
- 24:48Speaker 1: just I will try it on at home. I've even
- 24:50Speaker 1: got two sizes or three sizes, and yees taking one back,
- 24:54Speaker 1: two back, because I'm like, I'm not trying. I Am
- 24:56Speaker 1: not going in the dressing for sure. Don't you get
- 24:59Speaker 1: embarrassed about Oh okay, oh and this is Sarah, thank
- 25:03Speaker 1: you for this one. She just hit me up at
- 25:05Speaker 1: Billy on the radio. A normal thing that's super embarrassing
- 25:07Speaker 1: is when somebody sings happy birthday to you in public.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I don't know if there's anything more embarrassing than that
- 25:12Speaker 1: to me. Oh God, don't do that to me. Police
- 25:16Speaker 1: Texas roadhouse. They all come.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Out, they hit the drum, to the drum.
- 25:20Speaker 1: They bring a saddle out. One time they brought a
- 25:22Speaker 1: saddle if you want it. Oh, please, don't bring the
- 25:26Speaker 1: saddle out. Gotta get on it. Oh, okay, Olivia, this
- 25:34Speaker 1: is a good one. This is a good one. I
- 25:36Speaker 1: hate when I have to cough in a quiet public place. Yeah, yes,
- 25:47Speaker 1: for sure, and then you keep doing it. Then everyone
- 25:50Speaker 1: thinks you're sick. Oh, don't cough during COVID remember back. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: I know the quarantine looks over all right, if you
- 25:58Speaker 1: got one, let me know what opening presents in front
- 26:01Speaker 1: of other people. Somebody said, oh yeah, that's embarrassing. Oh
- 26:06Speaker 1: reading anything out loud?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I hated in school when we played popcorn. Oh yeah, popcorn,
- 26:13Speaker 1: Billy and I never knew where we're at. I'm like popcorn.
- 26:16Speaker 1: What going through TSA is super embarrassing for me. Somebody said,
- 26:20Speaker 1: I don't know why, but I feel very awkward when
- 26:22Speaker 1: I go through TSA. Yeah, somebody's doing yard work in
- 26:27Speaker 1: the front of your house. I get it. You got
- 26:32Speaker 1: to bend over. Oh god, I'm scared. I get a
- 26:35Speaker 1: little you know, plumbers cracks. There's something I don't like
- 26:39Speaker 1: that feeling either.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Wow.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I mean I've never had that feeling of mowing the
- 26:43Speaker 2: lawn in my front yard.
- 26:44Speaker 1: No, but just doing anything in the front yard. Everybody's
- 26:46Speaker 1: pulling out there watching. Happened to me the way Billy's
- 26:49Speaker 1: cutting the shrubs, super cringe before we do Texas Tom Stories.
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm getting so many good ones coming in. It's mix
- 26:57Speaker 1: one on two point nine and be able to kid
- 26:59Speaker 1: Candice Pass producer Pho. Just little things that are embarrassing
- 27:02Speaker 1: that really shouldn't be That happened to you in real
- 27:05Speaker 1: life on my DMS at Billy on the radio, shout
- 27:08Speaker 1: out to Carolyn. Carolyn says, embarrassing doing math in public? Yes, oh,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I agree. I shut down. My brain shuts down. If
- 27:17Speaker 1: I have to do math in front of someone, you
- 27:19Speaker 1: would think I'm a kindergartener. Yeah, I can't do it.
- 27:23Speaker 2: That's relatable.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I just what up to Jordan, Jordan, thank you so much.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Just like you're holding the door when someone in the
- 27:29Speaker 1: vehicle is waving you across the road or a parking
- 27:32Speaker 1: lot while you're walking, you got to do that quick
- 27:34Speaker 1: little shuffle again. Am I wrong for thinking the four
- 27:38Speaker 1: thousand pound vehicle should have the right of way. Right.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Yes, Sometimes I'm just like, please don't make it awkward.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Just go, yeah, just go, wait for you.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, that shuffle is the worst.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Yesterday it sprouts you did. Yeah, it's awful.
- 27:51Speaker 1: The parking lot shuffle. Oh okay, shout out to Jacqueline.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I think that's her name, Jacqueline. I'll go in number
- 27:57Speaker 1: two in a public restaurant. Oh my god, wow, I
- 28:00Speaker 1: mean it is embarrassing. She's not wrong. Gotta gep real, Angel?
- 28:05Speaker 1: What up to? Angel? Oh? This was super embarrassing. As
- 28:07Speaker 1: a kid sharpening your pencil in class, you had to
- 28:10Speaker 1: get up and go and walk across the classroom on
- 28:12Speaker 1: the wall and sharpen your pencil. Yeah, we're showing our age,
- 28:16Speaker 1: but thank you. Those are Oh, Janey had one? You
- 28:18Speaker 1: have one? What is it when your stomach starts growling
- 28:21Speaker 1: and you're in a very quiet place. Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 5: I remember when I was at school and everything it
- 28:28Speaker 5: was like a test or something.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Everything would be so quiet, and like my stomach would.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Be like growling, and I'm like, oh my god, this
- 28:33Speaker 5: is so embarrassing, and I would like have to like
- 28:36Speaker 5: try to switch my stomach in or.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I did on percent and then it's also too because
- 28:43Speaker 1: you also you don't want people to think it was
- 28:45Speaker 1: a twote. Yeah, I'm like yeah, and then I'm just like,
- 28:49Speaker 1: oh my god, and.
- 28:50Speaker 5: I start coffeeing yeah.
- 28:57Speaker 1: In the morning. Yeah, true, thank you, Janey. Okay, Canda Slopez,
- 29:03Speaker 1: whatich you got going on over there?
- 29:04Speaker 2: Well, the City of Arlington has clarified its tailgating policy
- 29:07Speaker 2: for World Cup matches at at and T Stadium or
- 29:10Speaker 2: Dallas Stadium as it will be known during the World Cup.
- 29:13Speaker 2: So they now say there will be no tailgating and
- 29:16Speaker 2: official parking lots, but it will be available in private lots.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Those lots, you know, will be at the discretion of
- 29:22Speaker 2: whoever owns them. But originally, remember they had said, yeah,
- 29:25Speaker 2: tailgating is gonna be a thing. Everyone was very excited
- 29:28Speaker 2: about it. So yeah, clarification there if you're planning to
- 29:31Speaker 2: tailgate in the actual parking lots.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I like this World Cup thing. Yeah over murals, we
- 29:37Speaker 1: can't tailgate?
- 29:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Can we just have a party and have fun and
- 29:41Speaker 1: make people parties? Yeah? Like, I love Dallas and I
- 29:44Speaker 1: love Texas more than anything. Let's show people like how we.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Do it right, because we do it.
- 29:49Speaker 1: We party, yeah, parking lot, party and tailgate one hundred percent.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Lots of things going on though.
- 29:55Speaker 2: As we get closer to the World Cup, they're also
- 29:56Speaker 2: starting to transform Main Street in downtown Dallas, painting sidewalks,
- 30:01Speaker 2: parking spaces. You'll also start seeing several parking lots closed
- 30:04Speaker 2: off by shipping containers that will also be decorated.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Soon.
- 30:08Speaker 2: They're going to be putting up food trucks, markets, this
- 30:11Speaker 2: whole fan experience that's happening, you know, all around the Metroplex.
- 30:15Speaker 2: By the way, I did hear that FIFA is going
- 30:17Speaker 2: to be using the curtains at the stadium for one
- 30:20Speaker 2: of the matches that starts in the early evening. So
- 30:23Speaker 2: people are like, okay, so FIFA wants to do it,
- 30:25Speaker 2: but Jerry Jones doesn't want to do it for Cowboys games, right, Yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 2: they're getting grass as well, so people are like, have
- 30:32Speaker 2: you seen it?
- 30:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 30:33Speaker 1: It looks good.
- 30:34Speaker 3: It's nice that.
- 30:35Speaker 1: It really is. It's so funny though, because people coming
- 30:38Speaker 1: in I don't think they understand that, you know, Dallas
- 30:40Speaker 1: Stadium is not in Dallas, right, It's forty five minutes
- 30:44Speaker 1: sometimes extra traffic, So people are coming in and they're
- 30:47Speaker 1: staying downtown Dallas. Yeah, and you know, when you're coming
- 30:49Speaker 1: from Europe, Europe in forty five minutes, you could drive
- 30:51Speaker 1: to a whole different country for sure. So to them,
- 30:54Speaker 1: they're like, oh, then I'm sure we could just walk
- 30:55Speaker 1: to the state. No, you can, welcome to Texas. Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: no you can't.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Y Yeah, learn geography. Quit here, guys. A new Gray's
- 31:04Speaker 2: Anatomy series is in the works, and it's set in
- 31:06Speaker 2: West Texas. So this will be the fourth spinoff of
- 31:09Speaker 2: Grays after Private Practice and Station nineteen. This show doesn't
- 31:13Speaker 2: have a title just yet, but it will be the
- 31:15Speaker 2: first show not set on the West Coast. It's going
- 31:18Speaker 2: to be the first spin off without a main cast
- 31:20Speaker 2: member from the original show as well, so it's going
- 31:23Speaker 2: to follow a new group of doctors, but they will
- 31:26Speaker 2: still be connected to the Gray's Anatomy universe by one
- 31:29Speaker 2: or more characters. The show's going to premiere next year
- 31:32Speaker 2: sometime on ABC. But how cool it'll be set in
- 31:34Speaker 2: West Texas.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I like that.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the storylines could get really interesting with you know,
- 31:38Speaker 2: different scenarios.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I never saw Gray's Anatomy.
- 31:41Speaker 3: You never saw it. I never made it through the
- 31:44Speaker 3: entire series.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I mean I went for how many seasons, sixteen twenty five.
- 31:48Speaker 3: It's been on for so long.
- 31:49Speaker 1: George Clooney was in it. No, no, back in the day.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Not Grada you are.
- 31:54Speaker 2: He's on the er. Sorry Grays And I know I.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Guy all the medical shows. This isn't that why you
- 32:01Speaker 1: started wearing scrubs back.
- 32:04Speaker 2: That was the That was the reason he started.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Wearing scrubs because he thought he looked cool and scrubs
- 32:09Speaker 1: like man. I like the way they'd be rocking scrubs.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Pictures of the show scrubs or the song wait this
- 32:18Speaker 1: no scrubs, Well we got one over here.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Very cold though that.
- 32:22Speaker 3: They'll said that in text, Yeah this is cool.
- 32:25Speaker 2: The Guinness World record for the oldest person to crowd
- 32:28Speaker 2: surf and now belongs to a ninety nine year old
- 32:30Speaker 2: named Pauline.
- 32:32Speaker 3: They call her the Gangster Granny.
- 32:35Speaker 2: So listen that she was strapped to a backboard and
- 32:38Speaker 2: she got passed around the crowd at a Brandley Gilbert concert.
- 32:42Speaker 2: There were over twenty thousand people at this show, okay,
- 32:46Speaker 2: and after she was done, you know, she came.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Back on stage. The crowd was chanting. Granny Granny literally.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Strapped to a backboard is my hero.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to see this video because it looks
- 32:56Speaker 2: like a medical emergency. It looks like er.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Time having a great time. Don't tell me her grandkids
- 33:02Speaker 1: are doing this, making her do this for TikTok or something.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Probably so. But she was all about it, like she
- 33:08Speaker 2: was like, had her arm in the air and she
- 33:10Speaker 2: was like, yeah, she was alive.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Okay. I just wanted to make sure.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I mean, if you zoomed out, you wouldn't know, That's
- 33:18Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 33:18Speaker 3: You would think this was an emergency. They're trying to
- 33:20Speaker 3: get her out of the crowd.
- 33:21Speaker 1: If I passed away to concert crowd, serve me around,
- 33:24Speaker 1: Oh my god, why not you know, have fun with
- 33:27Speaker 1: me for a little while.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Yeah, i'd have.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys were there.
- 33:31Speaker 3: I was, yeah, you guys.
- 33:34Speaker 2: You and Junior were there at the concert.
- 33:36Speaker 3: And like help me.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Oh you're talking about like edge fast back.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I crowd served during all American Rejects, and then I
- 33:42Speaker 2: got to the back of the crowd and I was like.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Let's do it again.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Used to be so wild.
- 33:48Speaker 3: It was fun.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You were so fun. Yeah you're still fun.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Anyways, I gotta go.
- 33:52Speaker 2: I'm can of slow pass. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Get it off your chest, mess, you'll feel better.

- 34:11Speaker 1: your chest right now. Just call us when you want
- 34:14Speaker 1: where you can always hit me up on Instagram at
- 34:15Speaker 1: Billy on the radio. Uh, you got one? So how
- 34:18Speaker 1: are you great? How are you good? So? So you're
- 34:22Speaker 1: in a situation secret slash situation? What do we call that?
- 34:25Speaker 1: A secret?
- 34:26Speaker 3: Situation?
- 34:27Speaker 1: Situationship? Anyway? So what's up? All right?
- 34:31Speaker 5: Well, my parents, my parents have been together my entire life.
- 34:35Speaker 5: They're a couple like everybody envies, and people point and say,
- 34:39Speaker 5: real love still exists, you know through those people that
- 34:41Speaker 5: are always been solid. Dad of doors my mom yeah,
- 34:45Speaker 5: oh he literally like worships the ground as she walks on.
- 34:47Speaker 5: I mean that's what we've believed anyway. So my mom's
- 34:50Speaker 5: got to Menza and she's gotten worse recently. Oh no,
- 34:54Speaker 5: and my sisters and I have been like helping organize
- 34:56Speaker 5: everything in the house, and because she hides stuff everywhere. Now,
- 35:02Speaker 5: one afternoon, I'm cleaning out their closet and I find
- 35:05Speaker 5: this old box tuck behind some blankets and it was
- 35:08Speaker 5: still with all these letters, all handwritten, and recognized my
- 35:11Speaker 5: dad's handwriting right away, and curiosity, of course, got the
- 35:15Speaker 5: best of me, so I started. I brought him home
- 35:18Speaker 5: because I don't want my dad to see me like
- 35:19Speaker 5: going through them and everything.
- 35:21Speaker 3: And yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 5: So they're like first normal sweet love notes, cards, random
- 35:27Speaker 5: memories and everything.
- 35:28Speaker 1: So you're reading all these You're reading all these notes
- 35:31Speaker 1: and all these letters at home, like you take them
- 35:33Speaker 1: home with you to read.
- 35:34Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, I just like to tuck the box, okay, yeah, right.
- 35:40Speaker 2: So I get to.
- 35:41Speaker 5: This one letter and it just changes how I see
- 35:43Speaker 5: my dad forever.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Why.
- 35:45Speaker 5: It's an apology letter, and it's a brutal apology letter.
- 35:49Speaker 5: So my dad is like begging my mom for forgiveness,
- 35:52Speaker 5: admitting he had an affair.
- 35:54Speaker 4: No.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and so this letter is your dad writing your
- 35:59Speaker 1: mom saying and I'm sorry and going over the details
- 36:03Speaker 1: of him cheating.
- 36:04Speaker 5: Well he's look and meant nothing and he didn't want
- 36:07Speaker 5: to lose his family and everything that build together, and
- 36:10Speaker 5: kept writing about how ashamed he was and terrified he
- 36:13Speaker 5: like she leave him, And like the part that hit
- 36:16Speaker 5: me the hardest was he mentioned me and my sister
- 36:18Speaker 5: by name in the letter.
- 36:20Speaker 1: So you guys were so you were alive, you were
- 36:23Speaker 1: born by then?
- 36:24Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we were a little kid.
- 36:26Speaker 1: That does feel different when that, you know, because if
- 36:29Speaker 1: it was like they were teenagers and he was risk yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 1: but you were around, so I could see why that
- 36:37Speaker 1: would hit harder. Yeah.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Right.
- 36:38Speaker 5: So I'm like just staring at the page and sitting
- 36:41Speaker 5: there because if you knew my dad, you'd never think this,
- 36:44Speaker 5: Like he was even capable of this. He's always calm
- 36:47Speaker 5: and dependable, involved at church. She's the guy everybody trusts,
- 36:51Speaker 5: and you know, he coached all our teams and kissed
- 36:53Speaker 5: my mom goodbye every morning, and every time I look
- 36:56Speaker 5: at him now, it's just different, you know it is.
- 36:59Speaker 1: It's always the people you don't expect the TV days.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yeah right, And I'm not saying your dad's a bad
- 37:04Speaker 1: guy by any means, but it's always that couple that
- 37:07Speaker 1: and maybe this is part of what made them stronger.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Who knows, but it does change everything for you. I
- 37:14Speaker 1: can imagine.
- 37:15Speaker 5: Yeah. I mean she clearly forgave him because they stayed
- 37:17Speaker 5: together and they survived it somehow, you know. And I
- 37:21Speaker 5: can't tell my dad. I know. I haven't told my
- 37:23Speaker 5: sisters because I feel like the whole family dynamic would
- 37:27Speaker 5: change and honestly, they would lose their minds if they
- 37:29Speaker 5: found out.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Oh you haven't told your sisters. Oh no, no, so
- 37:34Speaker 1: you don't. It's just me that knows this, Okay. Do
- 37:37Speaker 1: you think it would help if you talk to them
- 37:39Speaker 1: about it and it was open and honest about it.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You don't think.
- 37:42Speaker 5: So I don't know, because like part of me feels angry,
- 37:45Speaker 5: you know, and like I'm mad at myself for reading
- 37:48Speaker 5: the letters in the box, you know, But I don't
- 37:50Speaker 5: know if it would help bringing it up or just
- 37:52Speaker 5: leave it alone, right.
- 37:54Speaker 1: And nobody knows. I mean, you don't know until you
- 37:56Speaker 1: do it.
- 37:56Speaker 3: And then what helps at this point though, you know?
- 38:00Speaker 2: I mean, it's just like they know, and that they
- 38:02Speaker 2: were the only two that were meant to know.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Probably, and you're always gonna love your dad, I'm sure,
- 38:06Speaker 1: but it's this will take a second to digest honestly,
- 38:11Speaker 1: you just you just learned about it.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yeah, because you know kids, you hopes and your parents
- 38:15Speaker 5: like that that you know, there is real love and
- 38:18Speaker 5: marriages do last and people don't cheat.
- 38:20Speaker 1: You know well. And it's also just you never know
- 38:22Speaker 1: what's going on behind closed doors and relationships. So the
- 38:25Speaker 1: people that look happy, I mean, everybody struggles, everybody goes
- 38:28Speaker 1: through that. But I don't think you can, you know,
- 38:30Speaker 1: live with that weight on your shoulders. Like at the
- 38:32Speaker 1: end of the day, if your mom forgave him right,
- 38:35Speaker 1: what else matters?
- 38:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, that was their situation to repair.
- 38:40Speaker 2: And it's not like they split up after you guys
- 38:42Speaker 2: were older, you know, like they stayed together for you
- 38:45Speaker 2: guys and then decided it was time, like.
- 38:48Speaker 3: They worked it out.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Yeah they did.
- 38:50Speaker 5: So however, that was I mean, been a happy marriage
- 38:53Speaker 5: that we know of, you know.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and they have they obviously created a beautiful life
- 38:57Speaker 1: together and had some awesome like you. So yeah, I
- 39:02Speaker 1: would are you the oldest? Yeah, Okay, see now I
- 39:05Speaker 1: feel like, yeah, you have to bear that weight and
- 39:08Speaker 1: just not Yeah, I don't think I would say anything,
- 39:10Speaker 1: and maybe I'm wrong for that, but I think I
- 39:12Speaker 1: would just keep it to myself and why why ruin
- 39:15Speaker 1: the image of my dad to my sisters if I
- 39:18Speaker 1: don't have to or is it something they should know?
- 39:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't think I would though, But hey,
- 39:24Speaker 1: thank you so much for sharing that secret. I'm sorry
- 39:26Speaker 1: that your mom is dealing with that because I know
- 39:28Speaker 1: that's tough in itself. So good luck. Okay, thank you
- 39:32Speaker 1: very much. It's why you gotta be careful when you
- 39:34Speaker 1: snoop through stuff. Yeah, all right, he's going for Canna's
- 39:39Speaker 1: court and gets settled here with Billy the kid in
- 39:42Speaker 1: the morning. A rise for the audible judge Cannice Lopez.
- 39:46Speaker 1: She takes the bench. She loves her beans, she loves
- 39:50Speaker 1: her long walks through towny small. Yeah, you got to
- 39:54Speaker 1: know a little bit about the judge, right, Okay, I
- 39:57Speaker 1: guess she loves her family too.
- 39:59Speaker 5: Well.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it makes one or two point nine
- 40:02Speaker 1: ability to kid judge Candace producer. Pooh, he's the bailiff
- 40:05Speaker 1: in this court and your problems at Candace on Air
- 40:07Speaker 1: on Instagram if you got one at Candas on air. Okay,
- 40:11Speaker 1: she writes it, should I make this a big deal
- 40:13Speaker 1: or not? I have a work issue about a coworker
- 40:17Speaker 1: taking breaks, And I'm not talking about those who take
- 40:20Speaker 1: obnoxiously long smoke breaks, which are also annoying. They say
- 40:24Speaker 1: not me, and I get attacked by people just thinking
- 40:27Speaker 1: I said it.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Sure.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Specifically, I'm talking about one guy who claims to be
- 40:32Speaker 1: what specifically I'm talking about one guy who claims to
- 40:36Speaker 1: be quote poop shy?
- 40:38Speaker 3: What?
- 40:39Speaker 4: Oh wow?
- 40:40Speaker 1: What do we doing?
- 40:41Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 40:42Speaker 1: That means that he can't do that anywhere but at
- 40:45Speaker 1: his own house, and he lives twenty minutes away without traffic,
- 40:50Speaker 1: so when nature calls, he's out the door and could
- 40:53Speaker 1: be gone for as long as sixty minutes. Oh what?
- 40:56Speaker 1: This is insane. I've spoken to one of my HR
- 41:00Speaker 1: people about it, and they are questioning if they can
- 41:03Speaker 1: even do anything since it technically can be a medical issue.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Ah oh what. Now I'm wondering what medical issue I
- 41:12Speaker 1: can come up with so I can also get a
- 41:15Speaker 1: sixty minute break. It might being unreasonable to me mad
- 41:21Speaker 1: about this and making it a big deal, but it's
- 41:24Speaker 1: totally annoying me. Okay, welcome to Canis Corp. Well let's
- 41:27Speaker 1: get going, all right, I've never heard of this? This
- 41:30Speaker 1: is is this? How is this a medical condition, is it?
- 41:33Speaker 2: I would think there could be something irrelated.
- 41:36Speaker 1: This is something poo would do.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I get it's annoying, but like if he's getting his
- 41:41Speaker 2: job done, and is it missing meetings? Like for me,
- 41:44Speaker 2: I'm like, right, one last person to share the bathroom
- 41:47Speaker 2: with me.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 41:48Speaker 4: Oh?
- 41:48Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I'm sorry, I'm gonna be super
- 41:52Speaker 1: annoyed if somebody, First of all, why are you coming
- 41:54Speaker 1: out and saying this, Yeah, nobody needs to know about
- 41:56Speaker 1: your bathroom habits. But if I find out you're leaving
- 42:00Speaker 1: work for an hour so you can go home and go,
- 42:03Speaker 1: then I have a condition to doe because I would
- 42:04Speaker 1: love to do it as well. I would love I
- 42:07Speaker 1: would love to be able to go somewhere where I
- 42:09Speaker 1: actually want to do that. Yeah, come on, it.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Has to be a medical issue, right or is it
- 42:14Speaker 2: just a mental issue.
- 42:16Speaker 1: It's a company Maybe that's just.
- 42:17Speaker 2: To cover up poop shie is just to cover up
- 42:19Speaker 2: for like the medical issue they don't want to talk about.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm just just thinking of then.
- 42:23Speaker 1: They have to talk about it. Then if you want
- 42:25Speaker 1: the medical exemption, I'm sorry, you're gonna have to explain
- 42:27Speaker 1: what's going on, because okay, I mean if I'm a
- 42:29Speaker 1: coworker and I see you or pooh leave for sixty
- 42:32Speaker 1: minutes while I'm working, right, I got questions?
- 42:35Speaker 3: Does he get all his work done?
- 42:37Speaker 4: Though?
- 42:37Speaker 2: I wonder like ours, we couldn't do that we were
- 42:41Speaker 2: alive on the radio.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Like there's no way some of us are going.
- 42:44Speaker 2: To leave, you know, but other positions and maybe they could.
- 42:48Speaker 1: No. No, if he does that twice in one work day,
- 42:52Speaker 1: that's two hours.
- 42:53Speaker 2: He's not doing it twice.
- 42:56Speaker 1: You never know.
- 42:56Speaker 6: You better have some problems to be like, oh, man,
- 42:58Speaker 6: I shouldn't hate that, then.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Pay him, Like yeah, okay, it's not fair.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Yeah, unless it's some kind of in depth medical condition.
- 43:07Speaker 1: But if it's just because i'm quote hundred poop shy,
- 43:11Speaker 1: I need privacy. Who isn't. Yeah, nobody loves going into
- 43:16Speaker 1: the work restroom. Everybody's shoes so they know it. If
- 43:21Speaker 1: it's you do women do that? Do you look under
- 43:24Speaker 1: the stall this season?
- 43:25Speaker 5: I do?
- 43:25Speaker 1: Yes?
- 43:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I hate it here. I hate there's so many
- 43:29Speaker 3: stalls too.
- 43:31Speaker 1: You know, I just got to hold it. You got
- 43:33Speaker 1: to hold it, I know.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I know, but it's not good for you.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I don't really like talking about bathroom stuff, but this yo,
- 43:39Speaker 1: either it's a real life problem. It is that's happening
- 43:42Speaker 1: that you just can't skip over.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean something's got to be done. Though if
- 43:46Speaker 2: he takes an hour here, an hour there, like maybe
- 43:48Speaker 2: he has to like stay late an hour like is
- 43:51Speaker 2: that happening or is he coming in on the weekend
- 43:53Speaker 2: to make living his life?
- 43:56Speaker 6: He's taking the hour and then what what about his
- 43:58Speaker 6: lunch break?
- 43:59Speaker 1: He can't during his lunch, That's what I'm saying. So
- 44:02Speaker 1: that's that you should be able to. And I know
- 44:04Speaker 1: people get annoyed with smokers and now people who vape too,
- 44:07Speaker 1: because you can't vape inside even though everybody does. I
- 44:10Speaker 1: feel like, but they're taking a lot of breaks to
- 44:12Speaker 1: go outside. Now when it comes to smokers and vapors,
- 44:15Speaker 1: I don't really care because like fifteen minutes whatever, get
- 44:18Speaker 1: your work done, and you're leaving for an hour. I
- 44:20Speaker 1: got a problem with that. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 44:22Speaker 2: That's I just feel bad for this person because that
- 44:25Speaker 2: is awful work.
- 44:26Speaker 3: It is awful careful.
- 44:29Speaker 1: I'm feeling sorryful for everybody. Yeah, like there's a guy here.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Never mind, I don't want to talk about it.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Yeah, don't talk about it.
- 44:37Speaker 1: There's a guy here, Okay, can I talk about it? Okay,
- 44:42Speaker 1: there's a guy here. I won't name names. This dude
- 44:45Speaker 1: has to take off all his clothes to go to
- 44:48Speaker 1: the bathroom yet.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 44:51Speaker 1: I'm not kidding you. Have you ever met anybody like this?
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm not gonna name names. No, this guy has to
- 44:56Speaker 1: so you know when he's in there, because all of
- 44:57Speaker 1: his clothes are draped over the stall. What are we doing?
- 45:01Speaker 1: Like he's changing, like he's a superhero. Yeah, and he
- 45:04Speaker 1: got a change. Who is that comfortable? He said? He's like,
- 45:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I just cannot go with clothes on, So
- 45:08Speaker 1: I have to. I have to get one hundred percent naked.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Why would you rather him go home?
- 45:13Speaker 1: He thing he can quit? I would be happy if
- 45:18Speaker 1: he just quit his job, oh my, and focused on
- 45:22Speaker 1: his issues.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I work from home.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Might be good.
- 45:25Speaker 1: But this is all a mental thing you have to
- 45:27Speaker 1: get over. Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't want to see
- 45:30Speaker 1: your your hone. He's hanging over the stall when I
- 45:33Speaker 1: go in there, I don't want to see you. Why
- 45:35Speaker 1: would you talk about embarrassing? My worst nightmare is to
- 45:38Speaker 1: be naked at work.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yeah, what if something happens an emergency, someone accidentally opens
- 45:43Speaker 2: the door because I've not shut the door lock all
- 45:45Speaker 2: the way before and had the door come open, and
- 45:47Speaker 2: then I got to.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Hit it with my fun Yeah. I was in a
- 45:49Speaker 1: stall one time in a public place where a kid
- 45:51Speaker 1: came under the door. You say, peekaboo. I'm like, what,
- 45:55Speaker 1: who is this? A bad kid? I tried to kick him.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I was like, get out of here, you little demon
- 46:04Speaker 1: fetus Cannas Lopez.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Yeah, look, this guy's guilty of being a stage fright Steam.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Oh, I get it.
- 46:14Speaker 2: It sucks. We gotta go through it. But you know,
- 46:16Speaker 2: unless he's stay in an hour late to make up
- 46:18Speaker 2: for the word, it's not fair. You're right, it's convinced sad.
- 46:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Did I influence the judge too? Yeah?
- 46:24Speaker 2: I think so.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Guy, he is guilty of being.
- 46:27Speaker 2: A stage fright Steam.
- 46:29Speaker 1: He's not a number two ned Okay, fine.
- 46:33Speaker 6: It's Texas Top Stories on the Dens with Billy's the
- 46:36Speaker 6: Kid in the Morning.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Only on the new Mix one O two point nine.
- 46:40Speaker 1: We got money coming up. If you want a thousand
- 46:41Speaker 1: dollars fat stacks of cash, we'll kick that off. At
- 46:44Speaker 1: eight forty you're shot at a grand and then we
- 46:46Speaker 1: do it in the forties every hour pretty much all day,
- 46:48Speaker 1: So get your money. Candae Lopez, what is going on?
- 46:51Speaker 2: Well, we got multiple rounds of rain expected this afternoon.
- 46:54Speaker 2: The severe weather threat is low, but rain is possible
- 46:57Speaker 2: pretty much all weekend into Memorial Day. The chances are
- 47:00Speaker 2: only about twenty percent, but it feels like the weekend
- 47:02Speaker 2: is kicking off today because kids getting out of school.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I know, yeah, and I hate this weather. I feel
- 47:07Speaker 1: like it did this last year Memorial that I can't remember.
- 47:09Speaker 1: But I just don't like the clouds and yeah, chance
- 47:11Speaker 1: of rank because you're trying to make plans. I people
- 47:13Speaker 1: want to go on the lake. Cooperate mother nature.
- 47:17Speaker 2: We are going to get up to seventy eight today.
- 47:18Speaker 2: It's already seventy outside right now. We'll see it might
- 47:21Speaker 2: not be too bad.
- 47:22Speaker 1: That's not bad. Seventy eight's nice.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be great today. Well. Keller police are warning
- 47:26Speaker 2: people of dangerous the usage of e bikes after multiple
- 47:30Speaker 2: incidents involving younger riders. So they released dash cam footage
- 47:34Speaker 2: of several teenagers speeding and evading officers on these e bikes.
- 47:38Speaker 3: I guess they were going down Johnson Road there.
- 47:41Speaker 2: But Keller ped is asking parents to please educate their
- 47:44Speaker 2: kids on the rules for riding e bikes, like wearing
- 47:47Speaker 2: helmets and staying under fifteen miles per hour on trails.
- 47:51Speaker 2: But in this video you see them repeatedly calling out
- 47:53Speaker 2: different you know violations reckless driving, using handheld device, evading.
- 47:59Speaker 1: But these are so it is really bad. Like there's
- 48:02Speaker 1: places around my neighborhood where these kids they have like gangs. Yeah,
- 48:07Speaker 1: there's like fifteen twenty of them. They're going over the
- 48:10Speaker 1: grass there and I feel like an old person, yeah
- 48:13Speaker 1: saying this, but they're now wearing helmets. They're going crazy,
- 48:17Speaker 1: driving like maniacs. And I tell my son because I mean,
- 48:19Speaker 1: we have e bikes and I love them. Yeah, but
- 48:21Speaker 1: I'm like, you cannot ride it. I don't care how
- 48:24Speaker 1: how cool you think you are, right without a helmet.
- 48:26Speaker 1: You have to put on a helmet because it's not
- 48:28Speaker 1: even about you. It's about other drivers and people out.
- 48:30Speaker 1: And these e bikes go fast.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Yeah they do. The kids are popping wheelies on them
- 48:34Speaker 2: all over the place. They banned them from the park
- 48:36Speaker 2: by my house because kids were just you know, being reckless.
- 48:38Speaker 1: There is things.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that happened literally last week because there
- 48:42Speaker 2: were so many incidents. Yeah they look fun, but yeah,
- 48:46Speaker 2: and they are smart.
- 48:47Speaker 1: But you gotta be careful. I tell my son all
- 48:49Speaker 1: the time. I'm like, it's not worth it. You don't
- 48:51Speaker 1: wear your helmet, something happens, and it can happen quick.
- 48:54Speaker 1: You gotta be careful. And I know well back of
- 48:57Speaker 1: the day, because I made the mistake of saying I
- 48:59Speaker 1: didn't wear a helmet riding my bike. But I'm like,
- 49:01Speaker 1: I didn't have an e bike.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Yeah, very different.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Nobody had e bikes right back in my day. And yeah,
- 49:06Speaker 1: you're right. If I could go back, I would have
- 49:08Speaker 1: worn a helmet, but we just didn't. Yeah, I don't
- 49:10Speaker 1: know why we didn't. Yeah, we also didn't wear a thing.
- 49:13Speaker 1: We also didn't wear sunscreen. We also sat on the
- 49:15Speaker 1: roof of the car driving around. We drank out of
- 49:18Speaker 1: the plastic water hole, and we were wild. But look
- 49:21Speaker 1: at us, we're a mess now.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. This new survey shows the average American says
- 49:28Speaker 2: the real start of summer is May twenty first, which.
- 49:31Speaker 3: If you haven't noticed, that is today.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Summer doesn't officially kick off until June twenty first, but
- 49:36Speaker 2: today is the day most people say they were usually
- 49:39Speaker 2: in quote summer mode.
- 49:41Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 49:42Speaker 2: That's why people are, you know, out and about today,
- 49:45Speaker 2: riding e bikes doing all those things. If not today
- 49:47Speaker 2: the Memorial Day, this weekend for sure. And Glenn Powell
- 49:50Speaker 2: says a woman on TikTok went on a mission to
- 49:53Speaker 2: eat a picture of him every day. She was hoping
- 49:56Speaker 2: he would notice her and give her a part in
- 49:58Speaker 2: his movies. I guess her name is Monique. She actually
- 50:02Speaker 2: met him at the premiere of his movie The Running Man,
- 50:05Speaker 2: and she asked him to sign a picture of himself
- 50:07Speaker 2: and then she ate it.
- 50:09Speaker 1: That's a weird flex.
- 50:10Speaker 2: This is her thing.
- 50:11Speaker 1: It's her thing. So she he signs the picture, she
- 50:14Speaker 1: eats it right in front of him, right and what
- 50:18Speaker 1: do he do?
- 50:18Speaker 3: Yeah, he just kept going. He was like, what just happens?
- 50:22Speaker 1: So then she decided this is the best way to
- 50:24Speaker 1: really get his attention. Though I just met him and
- 50:26Speaker 1: he saw me do it, I'm gonna keep doing it.
- 50:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep doing it. It doesn't appear that she's
- 50:29Speaker 2: still doing that from her last video I guess she
- 50:32Speaker 2: posted last year, But on the video.
- 50:34Speaker 3: It was labeled Day one hundred and thirty nine.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Oh god.
- 50:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:38Speaker 2: She claimed the paper was plant based at one hundred
- 50:41Speaker 2: percent edible. But she went for nearly five months doing
- 50:44Speaker 2: this every day.
- 50:45Speaker 3: And I don't think she has gotten.
- 50:46Speaker 2: A role in his movies yet you do that?
- 50:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 50:49Speaker 2: Aren't there better ways to get attention?
- 50:52Speaker 1: Or I don't know, we're talking about her?
- 50:54Speaker 3: Yeah, at the same time.
- 50:56Speaker 1: So I don't know. What would I eat to get
- 50:58Speaker 1: someone's attention. Yeah, I mean I'd eat Ella Langley's picture
- 51:02Speaker 1: for a few weeks. Yeah, why not?
- 51:06Speaker 2: Okay, we find some edible paper.
- 51:08Speaker 1: It doesn't even have to be edible. Okay, I'm just
- 51:11Speaker 1: going to eat no song. I mean there's a lot
- 51:13Speaker 1: of times I eat the sticker on the apples because
- 51:15Speaker 1: I forget about it.
- 51:19Speaker 2: You've never actually done notice that we need to take
- 51:22Speaker 2: a bite.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I just don't. I don't know. I just because it
- 51:24Speaker 1: tastes like the skin.
- 51:25Speaker 2: You're not chewing enough.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Then you're not taking it enough bites.
- 51:29Speaker 1: I'm not chewing it.
- 51:30Speaker 2: You're eating too fast.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Here we go, Canas always says I eat too fast. Well,
- 51:33Speaker 1: I only got a couple of minutes in the morning
- 51:35Speaker 1: when we're I'm playing a song or we're playing a commercial.
- 51:38Speaker 4: I hear you.
- 51:38Speaker 1: So sometimes I eat the apple sticker and.
- 51:41Speaker 3: It's in the core, the whole thing.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Yeah everything, look at me.
- 51:44Speaker 3: I'm there's just no evidence that you had an apple.
- 51:47Speaker 3: It's wild.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Like there's a lot of cultures who eat the apple core.
- 51:55Speaker 3: Well that's cool.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I just never seen anyone do it.
- 51:58Speaker 1: But you're culture shaming me. Okay, follow I'll also eat
- 52:02Speaker 1: the shrimp tail.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Oh you can't do that, nasty.
- 52:07Speaker 3: What texture is too much for me?
- 52:09Speaker 1: It's oh, plastic.
- 52:10Speaker 2: If I barely touch with my tongue, I'm like, oh,
- 52:12Speaker 2: I'm done here.
- 52:13Speaker 1: It's meant to be eaten. No, it's not.
- 52:14Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I just I don't like it, like plastic feeling. Yeah,
- 52:20Speaker 1: properly so.
- 52:21Speaker 2: But you don't.
- 52:22Speaker 1: No, it's just don't anybody just eat your garbonzo beans
- 52:26Speaker 1: and don't worry about me.
- 52:27Speaker 2: I'm on Cannaslow Pests. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Oh that's a hot TAKEE let us know what you think.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Here's today's hot take Mix.
- 52:35Speaker 1: One or two point nine. Good morning, It's Baiby to
- 52:37Speaker 1: kid Canna. Slow Pants producer Poo thousand dollars coming up next,
- 52:40Speaker 1: fat stacks of cash. We're doing on the forties pretty
- 52:42Speaker 1: much all day, so listen to win if you want
- 52:45Speaker 1: some money. Who doesn't want a thousand dollars kicking off
- 52:47Speaker 1: summer kids out of school? You got stuff to do now.
- 52:50Speaker 1: I saw this online. It was going around on TikTok
- 52:52Speaker 1: and Instagram and it went viral, and it was basically
- 52:55Speaker 1: a list of things that men consider princess treatment, that
- 52:59Speaker 1: women can hit her the bare minimum. And I just
- 53:03Speaker 1: have a feeling that we're going to differ on these
- 53:05Speaker 1: whoo because well, who calls me a simp? Yeah? And
- 53:09Speaker 1: I guess I don't even know. Maybe I am simpy.
- 53:12Speaker 1: He called me the other day. He called me simpy
- 53:13Speaker 1: the kid. I was like, he's extra spicy, and I
- 53:21Speaker 1: thought I didn't think I was that.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Well, probably determine ittor Okay, Well, I'll let you be
- 53:26Speaker 2: the judge.
- 53:26Speaker 1: So let's go over this list of things and you
- 53:28Speaker 1: tell me if this is bare minimum or princess treatment.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Number one opening her car door every time.
- 53:37Speaker 2: I mean, that's bare minimum.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Yeah, agreed. I do this every time, no matter what.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I'm in a relationship and I'm out I'm opening the
- 53:46Speaker 1: car door. I don't care if it's CBS, Tom Thumb
- 53:49Speaker 1: or we're on a date. I'm opening the car door.
- 53:51Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe some people say it's old school,
- 53:54Speaker 1: and I could see that kind of cringe. I think
- 53:56Speaker 1: it's just respect.
- 53:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean for people our age.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Bare minimum. It's bare minimum, right, younger.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Younger people don't know what y'all are doing.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I don't know you do this. Yes, I'll agree with that,
- 54:07Speaker 1: Yeah I will. Yeah, I'll do that. So let's see,
- 54:11Speaker 1: you're in a relationship and you go to the CBS
- 54:15Speaker 1: to run in real quick, you guys are running back out.
- 54:17Speaker 1: You go to her side and open the door. Yes, yes,
- 54:19Speaker 1: I'll do that. I don't think if I've ever seen
- 54:21Speaker 1: Pooh open the door for anybody. No, no, I'm not
- 54:24Speaker 1: being rude. I'm just being okay, all right, so we'll
- 54:28Speaker 1: agree that's bare I'm putting a B next to it.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Bare minimum. Okay, what about the next one. A guy's
- 54:33Speaker 1: spent responsibility to plan all the dates.
- 54:38Speaker 2: I don't think that's fair. I think that's princess treatment. Yeah,
- 54:41Speaker 2: because we should both be able to plan the dates.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not doing that. We should both take turns.
- 54:46Speaker 1: It should be fifty to fifty. Yeah, okay, but guys
- 54:49Speaker 1: should plan dates.
- 54:50Speaker 2: They should plan dates, yeah for sure.
- 54:52Speaker 1: And I especially the first date.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Yes, agreed, I agree planning the.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Party field school too. Maybe modern women are like, no,
- 54:59Speaker 2: I want to plant let me control this.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Modern women, you know, like we're from the nineteen twenties.
- 55:05Speaker 6: I mean, I'm going on first dates where the girls said, hey,
- 55:07Speaker 6: let's do this, and.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Okay, well he says that. I think that's a good thing. Yeah,
- 55:11Speaker 1: but if she's like, well, what are we going to do,
- 55:13Speaker 1: We'll plan the date. Just go plan the date and
- 55:16Speaker 1: let her know and don't plan anything stupid. Okay, don't
- 55:20Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Like, right, don't make me do anything athletic without telling
- 55:23Speaker 2: me I'm doing something athletics exactly.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Like today, Oh we're going to play pickleball and then
- 55:27Speaker 1: we're going to dinner. It's like, I don't know if
- 55:28Speaker 1: a woman would want to do that, right, be sweaty
- 55:31Speaker 1: or like Kennas had a first day one time with
- 55:33Speaker 1: the guy, went on a picnic and it was raining. Yeah,
- 55:36Speaker 1: that was dumb. It's time to call an audible on that.
- 55:39Speaker 1: So are we going princess treatment or bare minimum.
- 55:43Speaker 2: I mean, I think that's the bare minimum for the
- 55:45Speaker 2: man to plan.
- 55:46Speaker 3: The first date.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, we'll do that bare minimum. Okay, so far,
- 55:49Speaker 1: so good. What about this one, princess treatment or bare minimum.
- 55:52Speaker 1: If your girlfriend or wife's cars on E, you get
- 55:56Speaker 1: her gash, you get her treat me.
- 56:01Speaker 2: That might be teetering the line of princess treatment. Now well, yeah, gosh,
- 56:07Speaker 2: maybe I am appreciate it.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I mean I used to do it all the time.
- 56:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 1: In my last relationship, I would warm her car up
- 56:13Speaker 1: every morning in the winter, and if I noticed it
- 56:16Speaker 1: on E, I would go get gas come back.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's very nice.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that princess to me.
- 56:22Speaker 2: I think you'd probably do it for a while and
- 56:24Speaker 2: then eventually you probably don't.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I did it all the time. Okay, Yeah, so I
- 56:29Speaker 1: noticed a lot. If I noticed it on E, I
- 56:31Speaker 1: would get out, and if we were together, I always
- 56:34Speaker 1: got out and did the gas.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that always pumps, even if it's in my car
- 56:38Speaker 2: I'm driving or whatever. He always gets on pumpsy gas. Okay,
- 56:41Speaker 2: that's bare minimum, right, yeah.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Okay, all right, so I'm not doing it. I think
- 56:46Speaker 1: bare minimum. You're gonna see princess treatment. All right, we'll
- 56:48Speaker 1: go with that. Letting her wear your coat if it's cold,
- 56:55Speaker 1: barem or princess.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Princess treatment is.
- 57:02Speaker 4: Me?
- 57:03Speaker 6: No, you don't girl, You didn't know it was cold
- 57:05Speaker 6: when we were on the way.
- 57:10Speaker 1: All right, that's bare minimum. Let's get real. Come on, Okay, Now,
- 57:15Speaker 1: this is something that I think most men nowadays would
- 57:18Speaker 1: not even understand what to do. If you're walking down
- 57:22Speaker 1: the street with a woman. Where do you walk? Pooh?
- 57:26Speaker 6: Uh, You're supposed to walk on the outside.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Of the girl, on the outside of the sidewalk the
- 57:33Speaker 1: street closest to the street. And I've been guilty of
- 57:35Speaker 1: walking on the inside. Okay a lot. So this says
- 57:40Speaker 1: is walking on the outside of the sidewalk princess or
- 57:42Speaker 1: bare minimum?
- 57:43Speaker 3: Bare minimum?
- 57:44Speaker 1: I would agree, Yeah, why do we do that?
- 57:46Speaker 2: That my choice?
- 57:47Speaker 4: Pooh?
- 57:48Speaker 3: Or are you just not paying attention?
- 57:49Speaker 1: I'm not paying attention? Yeah, all right, okay, Now what
- 57:53Speaker 1: about this one? Bare minimum or princess giving her flowers
- 57:57Speaker 1: at least once a month?
- 57:59Speaker 3: Oh, that's princess.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Yeah once a month.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Really, princess. I don't agree with that. Yeah, I think
- 58:07Speaker 1: that could easily be a once a month thing. Okay,
- 58:09Speaker 1: it doesn't have to be some crazy arrangement that's two
- 58:12Speaker 1: hundred three hundred dollars, but a nice little bouquet.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Maybe in the beginning, because I do remember, like when
- 58:17Speaker 2: Eric and I first got together, and my coworkers just
- 58:19Speaker 2: always knew there comes Kansas's flowers. It was just the
- 58:23Speaker 2: thing that they knew that he always sent flowers for,
- 58:26Speaker 2: like all sorts of stuff.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Okay, I think I think it was once a month,
- 58:30Speaker 3: bare minimum.
- 58:31Speaker 1: That's there. Man. How often do you send a girl flowers?
- 58:34Speaker 6: And on special occasions like like a birthday, ten year anniversary, holidays, you.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Know, holidays like you know, Merry Christmas or something. I
- 58:44Speaker 1: know that's how you know he doesn't send flowers if
- 58:47Speaker 1: you send him on.
- 58:48Speaker 6: Christmas, no, I'll give her, you know, I'll send her
- 58:52Speaker 6: like tiff treats, edible arrangements. Once a month, No, no,
- 58:58Speaker 6: a special occasion.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I disagree on that.
- 59:01Speaker 2: I think that's he's doing that forever.
- 59:03Speaker 1: I think that's bare minimum. You should do it forever.
- 59:06Speaker 3: No one is though, why not?
- 59:08Speaker 2: Because I think that's princess treatment.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Why do you think that?
- 59:11Speaker 2: I mean, I take it. I appreciate it.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Like, let's go you should always do that. Why stop
- 59:16Speaker 1: because you're married or because you've been together for four years,
- 59:18Speaker 1: you should still do maybe not flowers once a month,
- 59:21Speaker 1: but something nice. Yeah, we could always do something nice.
- 59:24Speaker 6: But I'm not giving you flowers every all right, all right,
- 59:26Speaker 6: last one, let's do this pain when you go out
- 59:30Speaker 6: every time?
- 59:31Speaker 1: Okay, Princess or bare minimums.
- 59:34Speaker 2: That's a tricky one because again, modern women someone sometimes
- 59:39Speaker 2: want to pay.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Also, you know, not the modern women I dated. Yeah, okay,
- 59:43Speaker 1: I would pay every time.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Every time if you're dating, if you're in a relationship, I.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Like to, but I'm not going to fight fight over it.
- 59:49Speaker 1: So if somebody's like no on pain, well I'm like, oh, well,
- 59:52Speaker 1: thank you so much. Yeah, I appreciate it.
- 59:54Speaker 2: But I eventually couldn't accept that many like meals that
- 59:57Speaker 2: you're paying for, Like I'd have to put put my
- 59:59Speaker 2: foot down and like, no, I got this one.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: This Princess. This is a funny one. I don't think so.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I think it's bare minimum, but we'll put okay, princess
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: for pooh, this one is weird. I'm gonna do this
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: one too, taking care of her when she's sick. Bare
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: minimum or Princess what do you mean, No, ill take care.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I'm playing. I'm playing with you. You don't be honest. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I'll take care of you. Or you're the guy that
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: doesn't want to get sick, so you stay away from her.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: Okay, my last my last relationship.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Yeah, like yeah, I was like here, quarantine, No, I
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: got it. I got her everything she needed and I
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: was like, yeah, let me back off.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean everything she needed, like you know, I
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: got her little cold pack, like.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Everything she needed like cough drops all this and you
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: dropped it off. Like I was like, don't die. Let
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: me know when you better. Thank you. Canis long passed
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Cannis thinking of me for once, and I'm like, pooh,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: well you think of me a lot, so I appreciate you.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: But she's I pulled a little story that I thought
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: was cool because you love list. Yeah, no, I love
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: a good list, and so thank you, Candice.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Yeah you're welcome.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: What is this list?
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: So this is a list basically to pull The asked
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Americans to rank forty things on a scale a very
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: cool to not at all cool.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Oh so we got not cool and cool.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Yeah, well the not cool things are not as fun
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: as the cool thing.

- 1:01:27Speaker 1: five random list.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: I know, I love it, Okay, think about it, like
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: what's cool?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Can you start with number five? Because I'm a big
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I hate when people start with number one, Candace.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Number five on the list was computers.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Okay, it sounds really nty. It sounds dirty, but think
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: about like how hype we get to get a new
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: laptop or like a new product from the Apple store.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: That is, You're right, your computers are cool.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: They're very cool. Yeah, all right.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: If you look at someone out of computer, it doesn't
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: look that cool though.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: No, now, why why do you say that?
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Well, I just feel like it just reminds me of
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: like the old school computers were like these giant computers
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: and like some nerds at the computer.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: It seems a number five computers are cool. How can
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I argue with that guy?
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Number argue with this list?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Okay, I can't.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Number four was rock music.
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: Okay, look I feel cool. I feel pretty cool. Okay,
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: what's number three?
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Number three on the list was reading books?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's not We've made it cool.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: But I don't know if people are reading off of
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: actual books or if it's like an e reader.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You know, I hate kindles, I know, and I hate.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I don't like reading books. I do like reading books.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: It's cool, but not I wouldn't say cool. And I
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: don't finish a book. I don't know if I've ever
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: finished a book. I hate reading.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: I like reading books, but not the entire book.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: What's the last book you almost read? Can should we
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: start an almost read book?
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: The Oh? Well, which chapters you read? One? Yeah?
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: That book is so good, the first couple of chapters.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I did read a couple two.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Can you say it's a good book if you've only
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: read that the first couple of chapters.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Yes, because I read a lot of quotes out of
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the book. Yeah, and I wait till to a movie. Yeah.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Just now, let me ask you something. Does audio books
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: count as reading?
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: I guess it's yeah. I think it does. The information Well,
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: then I did read a full book. You read it.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: My last full book I read was the Britney Spears Biography. Okay,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: it was great.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Okay, you read the whole thing.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I listened to the whole thing. That's right. Okay.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Number two Okay, number.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Two was outer space. Space is cool, dude, NASA, they're
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: having a record year.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: You came up with this list. Don't lie. If number
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: one it's beans, I'm throwing the studio. That means, okay, well,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the space is cool. Though, Artemis really had its.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Moment, right, I mean, he's not looking forward to the
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: next one. I watched that thing on YouTube, like pretty
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: much the whole live stream. It was just like darkness.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: You were a little too nerdy about it. Cannas is
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: still looking up stuff about Artemis.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: I don't know. My whole feed was people talking about Artemis.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: And that's when I felt like, okay, I'm right about.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: This, all right. Number one coolest thing according to canvas Pez.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Science.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: It was very cool at science.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I do think science is really cool.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Nerdy stuff is having its moment.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Granny core, all these things, granny core, science core.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: What is granny core again?
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Yeah, granny core is like, you know, granny things that
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: are like trending now to like crochet and play board
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: games and bingo.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Is that really cool? Though?
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's cool.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Crochane's cool.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: It is granny core. Yeah, making things for people is cool.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: All right, Cannas, calm down, just say it's your list,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: It's not my list, Okay, thank you, the Cool List.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: It's Texas Top Stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Kid in the.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Morning only on the New Mix one.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Two point nine Thursday.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: That feels like a Friday. It also feels like the
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: first day of summer. I don't know what's going on. Yeah,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: a lot of people are on school today. Maybe that's why.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Either way, Candas Lopez, what is going on?
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Well, the city of Arlington it clarified their tailgating policy
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: for World Cup matches at at and T Stadium or
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Dallas Stadium as it will be known during the World Cup.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: So they say there will be no tailgating and official
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: parking lots, but it will be available in private lots. Uh.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Those will of course be at the discretion of whoever
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: owns those lots. But remember a couple of months ago,
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: we have heard the news that they said, yeah, we're
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: good for tailgating because this was going to be like
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: city by city determination, so people were excited about and
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: now we're finding out you can't actually do it in
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: the official parking lot.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: World Cup is already give me a headache and it's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: still here yet.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: It's so confusing, Like the.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: World Cup, we're doing all this stuff it better be
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: worth it.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I hope.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: So painting over murals got me mad? Yeah, stuff all
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: for the World Cup. I mean it better bring in
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: a lot of money for this city.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean. They're also starting to transform Main Street
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: in downtown Dallas, painting sidewalks and parking spaces. You'll also
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: start to see several parking lots closed off. They're going
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: to close them off with these shipping containers that will
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: also be decorated very soon. So yeah, they're putting up
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: food trucks, markets, all sorts of stuff.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: I don't know if this is true or not. But
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I also heard, and I'm not making a joke about this, Okay,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I heard they're moving homeless people out of downtown. Like, wow,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: they're moving them.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: I mean I could I could see that happening.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Relocation because of you know, the crowds and everything.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: That's just gonna be going on.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Kid it, But come on, what are we doing?
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I supposedly they drop dropped a bunch off over here.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: What I swear somebody said they brought some up to
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Spring Valley in the tollway and dropped them off. Of
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: My mind, really, who was doing this?
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I hope we're providing something, some type of shelter.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I know, I just you know.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah. By the way, speaking of the World Cup,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I did also hear that FIFA is going to be
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: actually using those curtains at the stadium for one of
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: the matches.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Okay, I thought you were going to say they were
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: using the homeless people for something.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: They're going to use the curtains. People are matt like
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: ceedee lamb, and everybody's like, why can't we shut the
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: curtains at when the Cowboys are playing and keeper comes
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: in and they're like, we're going to just close them.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Well they also have a grass field now too.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: No, some football players are upset about that as well. Guys.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: The new Gray's Anatomy series is in the works and
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: it's gonna be set in West Texas. So this will
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: be the fourth spin off of Grays. Of course, there's
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Private Practice and Station nineteen. This show doesn't have a
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: title just yet. It'll be the first show not set
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: on the West Coast, and also the first spin off
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: without a main cast member from the original show. They're
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: saying it's going to follow a group of doctors, but
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: will still be connected to the Gray's Anatomy Universe by
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: at least one.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: Or more characters. But that show is.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Going to premiere next year sometime on ABC. And I
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: just love that we're getting so many looks here in
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Texas with all these productions.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I feel like your husband Eric should be in that.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred person the.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Auditioned for her, they come on, possibly he's gonna try.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: For sure, it'd be great for that show.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Him and pooh. Yeah, because he was pretty much a
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: doctor since he bought a pair of scrubs in the nineties.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: So do you still wear scrubs every once in a while. No,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I had to retire. Yeah. We made fun him so bad.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: They're probably so comfy, Yeah they.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Are, but if you're not. He was wearing them to
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: give the allusion to women that he was a doctor.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I got some looks, don't hate. I did get some looks. Yeah,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: I mean just wearing scrubs that they're like, oh, what
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: else do you work at?
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: I don't Yeah, No, I was like Baylor which one downtown.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: The one that helps people.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: The medical.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Okay, real quick, guys. In the Guinness World Record for
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: the oldest person to CrowdSurf. Now belongs to a ninety
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: nine year old woman named Pauline.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: They call her the Gangster Granny.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I love her.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: You gotta see this video because they basically strapped her
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: to a backboard and then she got passed around the crowd.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: This is that a Brandley Gilbert concert?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I know who does that in a Brandley Gilbert concert.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: I mean there were twenty thousand people at this show,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: and after she got done crowdsurfing, she came back on
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: stage and they're all chanting for like, Grannie, Grannie.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I love that. Good for her. I mean I saw
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: the video. It looks like she passed.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: Well, if you are zooming out of this video, you
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: think she was having an emergency.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I would think somebody broke a hip or something's going on.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: They're passing her to.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Medical, but you know, getting evacuated out of there.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: She's loving it.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she's having a good time. So congrats to Pauline.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Never forget Cannis Lopez at Edgefest and god, this had
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to be what two thousand and four to five sing
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: like that? Yeah, crowdsurfing. Yeah, I can't believe you crowd serve.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: I can't either, But.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: It was fine. I remember when you know it was
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: like a roller coaster. I was like, let's do it again.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're such a germaphob. So just all the
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: people touching you. I can't believe you did that.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Well I wasn't a germophobe.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Then no, you're a drunk.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: Oh my gods in Texas.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Top stories, dirty little secrets, little secret. All right, there
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: we go.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: It's makes one or two point nine Bill at a kid,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Canda Slopez producer, poo your secrets anytime you want share
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: them with us. Come on, it's a non judgment zone.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Just call us at eight three three seven eight seven
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: one o two nine or at Billy on the radio.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: You could set up that way. Shoot me a DM
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: on Instagram, But just confess whatever you got going on? Now,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: what is your secret?
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: All right? Well, my parents, my girents, have been together
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: my entire life. They're a couple like everybody envies, and
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: people point and say, real love still exists, you know
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: for those people that are always been solid data door
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: with my mom. Yeah, he literally like worships the ground
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: that she walks on. I mean that's what we've believed anyway.
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: So my mom's got to Menza and she's gotten worse recently,
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: and my sisters and I have been like helping organize
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: everything in the house and because she hides stuff everywhere. Now,
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: one afternoon, I'm cleaning out their closet and I find
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: this old box tucked behind some blankets and it was
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: still with all these letters, all handwritten, and recognized my
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: dad's handwriting right away, and curiosity, of course, got the
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: best of me, so I started. I brought him home
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: because I don't want my dad to see me, like
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: going through them and everything.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: And yeah.
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: So they were like first normal sweet love notes, cards,
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: random memories and everything.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: So you're reading all these you're reading all these notes
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: and all these letters at home, like you take them
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: home with you to read.
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, I just like to tuck the box, okay, yeah, right,
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: So I get to this one letter and it just
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: changes how I see my dad forever.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Why.
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: That's an apology letter, and it's a brutal apology letter.
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: So my dad is like begging my mom for forgiveness,
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: admitting he had an affair.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: No, yeah, so this letter is your dad writing your
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: mom saying I'm sorry and going over the details of
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: him cheating.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: Well, he's look it meant nothing, and he didn't want
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: to lose his family and everything that builds together. And
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: he kept writing about how ashamed he was and terrified
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: he like she leave him, And like the part that
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: hit me the hardest was he mentioned me and my
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: sister by.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Name in the letter.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: So you guys were so you were alive, you were
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: born by then.
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we were a little kid.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: That does feel different when that, you know, because if
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: it was like, oh, they were teenagers.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: And he was risking, yeah, but you were.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Around, so I could see why that would hit harder. Yeah.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: So I'm like just staring at the page and sitting
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: there because if you knew my dad, you'd never think this.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: He was even k bull of this. He's always calm
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: and dependable, involved at church. She's the guy everybody trusts.
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: And you know, he coached all our teams and kissed
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: my mom goodbye every morning, and every time I look
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: at him. Now, it's just different.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: You know it is. It's always the people you don't expect,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: ye the TV day Yeah right, And I'm not saying
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: your dad's a bad guy by any means, but it's
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: always that couple that and maybe this is part of
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: what made them stronger. Who knows, but it does change
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: everything for you, I can imagine.
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean she clearly forgave him because they stayed
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: together and they survived it somehow, you know. And I
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: can't tell my dad, I know. I haven't told my
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: sisters because I feel like the whole family dynamic would
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: change and honestly, they would lose their minds if they
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: found out.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Oh you haven't told your sisters? Oh no, No, so
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: you don't. It's just me that knows this, Okay. Do
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: you think it would help if you talk to them
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: about it and it was open and honest about it.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: You don't think?
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: So I don't know, because like part of me feels angry,
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: you know, and like I'm mad at myself for reading
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: the letters in the box, you know, But I don't
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: know if it would help bringing it up or just
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: leave it alone.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Right, And nobody knows. I mean, you don't know until.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: You do it, and then what helps at this point though,
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: you know, right?
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I mean, it's just like.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: They know and that they were the only two that
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: were meant to know. Probably, and you're.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Always gonna love your dad, I'm sure, but it's this
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: will take a second to digest honestly, you you just
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: learned about it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: Yeah, because you know it gives you hopes and your
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: parents like that that you know, there is real love
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: and marriage do last and people don't cheat.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: You know well. And it's also just you never know
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: what's going on behind closed doors and relationships. So the
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: people that look happy, I mean, everybody struggles. Everybody goes
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: through that. But I don't think you can, you know,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: live with that weight on your shoulders. Like at the
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: end of the day, if your mom forgave him right,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: what else matters? You know?
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: That was their situation to repair.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: And it's not like they split up after you guys
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: were older, you know, like they stayed together for you
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: guys and then decided it was time, like.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: They worked it out.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Yeah they did.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: So however that was I mean, so it's been a
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: happy marriage that we know of, you know.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and they obviously created a beautiful life together and
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: had some awesome kids like you. So yeah, I would
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: are you the oldest?
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Okay, see now I feel like, yeah, you have to
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: bear that weight and just not Yeah, I don't think
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I would say anything, And maybe I'm wrong for that,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: but I think I would just keep it to myself.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: And why why ruin the image of my dad to
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: my sisters if I don't have to yea or is
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: it something they should know? I don't know. I don't
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: think I would, though, But hey, thank you so much
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: for sharing that secret. I'm sorry that your mom is
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: dealing with that because I know that's tough in itself.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: So good luck. Okay, thank you very much. You're welcome.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Now do you like, do you know your parents drama?
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I never really grew up like that, so I'm wondering,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you know, like, if it's too obviously it's never perfect, right,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: do you want to know your parents drama like that? Oh? Either,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Now, keep it in the box.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: It just feels weir Some families, though, are just so
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: open and they talk about everything. Yeah, and that in
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: itself sometimes is weird to me.
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but maybe it's healthier.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: It probably is, Yeah, to learn and grow. I'm not
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: saying I'm healthy, not by any means. So bailing a kid,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Candice low Pan is pretty super. We're about to get
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: out of here. We'll see you tomorrow. I have a
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: great day. Tomorrow is Rye Day, which is a big deal.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: A lot of people out of school today, like your

- 1:16:28Speaker 2: It's getting out in two hours.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I forget it's a half day on top of that,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: so I know my son is too. So yeah, rock on, moms.

- 1:16:37Speaker 1: lot of y'all. Yeah, and I know that turns everything

- 1:16:48Speaker 2: in town because his birthday is tomorrow, but we're taking
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: off on a little trip right after the show. Yes,
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: we're gonna have some cake tonight and just hang out.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: He'll probably open some presents.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Yeah. I upset with you too because you forgot to
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: give your dog Brewster a shot out for his birthday.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, his birthday was on Tuesday.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, he turned ted.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: And you didn't even say one thing.
