Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. One of the biggest travesties when it comes
0:06
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein and the non-investigation that we saw for
0:09
Speaker 1: all those years was the fact that places like New
0:12
Speaker 1: Mexico decided to punt the ball to the federal government.
0:16
Speaker 1: Which is crazy considering this happened in their state and
0:19
Speaker 1: it was something that they should have been mindful of.
0:23
Speaker 1: They owed that to their citizens, right? They owed that
0:26
Speaker 1: to the people who were abused in New Mexico. But
0:30
Speaker 1: instead of opening that investigation down there in Mexico, they
0:33
Speaker 1: just decided to go with whatever the feds had going on.
0:36
Speaker 1: And we know how that all ended up. So Jeffrey
0:39
Speaker 1: Epstein and his crimes in New Mexico have been basically
0:42
Speaker 1: wiped right off the table. And we all know that
0:44
Speaker 1: he was up to some wild ass shit down in
0:46
Speaker 1: New Mexico. And we'll probably never know the full scope
0:49
Speaker 1: considering the government never even raided the house in New Mexico.
0:53
Speaker 1: So we have no idea what was even in that
0:55
Speaker 1: house as far as evidence goes. And now, after all
0:59
Speaker 1: these years, the state of New Mexico is talking about
1:02
Speaker 1: launching a commission to dive into what Jeffrey Epstein was
1:06
Speaker 1: up to in the state. And while I think it's
1:08
Speaker 1: a good idea, I think it's a little bit too late.
1:12
Speaker 1: And I don't think anything they're going to find now
1:14
Speaker 1: is going to be actionable because that ship has already sailed.
1:19
Speaker 1: And I don't think we're going to see any kind
1:21
Speaker 1: of actionable intelligence come from any sort of truth commission
1:25
Speaker 1: or or commission in general, that's being launched in New Mexico.
1:28
Speaker 1: And of course, that was the whole point of pointing
1:30
Speaker 1: it to the feds in the first place, remember. The
1:33
Speaker 1: idea was to try and get it all in the
1:35
Speaker 1: hands of the feds to make sure the cleanup mission
1:38
Speaker 1: went smooth. They couldn't have all these different municipalities and
1:42
Speaker 1: different jurisdictions looking into what happened, right? So they just
1:45
Speaker 1: folded it all into one federal case. And then, of course,
1:49
Speaker 1: the federal government just shits on all of us and
1:52
Speaker 1: ends up giving them that non-prosecution deal. So in this episode,
1:55
Speaker 1: we have an article from the Santa Fe New Mexican,
2:00
Speaker 1: and it's going to talk a little bit more about
2:02
Speaker 1: this proposal that's being put forward by these lawmakers down
2:05
Speaker 1: in Santa Fe. This article was authored by Clara Bates. Headline,
2:10
Speaker 1: New Mexico lawmakers propose truth commission on Epstein alleged sex
2:14
Speaker 1: abuse at his former Santa Fe County ranch. Two New
2:18
Speaker 1: Mexico lawmakers on Thursday outlined their proposal for a new
2:22
Speaker 1: truth commission to investigate what took place over decades at
2:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's massive Zorro Ranch in southern Santa Fe County
2:30
Speaker 1: and the state's failures to hold Epstein and others accountable
2:33
Speaker 1: for any crimes. And it's all convenient, huh? Bill Richardson's
2:37
Speaker 1: dead now. Jeffrey Epstein's gone. No one can really be
2:41
Speaker 1: held accountable. But all of a sudden, people care. All
2:44
Speaker 1: of a sudden, people in New Mexico want a truth commission, huh?
2:47
Speaker 1: I mean, better late than never, I guess, but come on.
2:50
Speaker 1: This should have been done years ago. Epstein, the convicted
2:54
Speaker 1: sex offender and financier who died in federal custody in
2:58
Speaker 1: 2019 at the age of 66, had owned the 7,560-acre
3:03
Speaker 1: property near Stanley, around 40 miles south of Santa Fe,
3:06
Speaker 1: since 93, after purchasing it from Governor Bruce King, and
3:11
Speaker 1: several women have alleged that they were sexually abused at
3:13
Speaker 1: the ranch, which featured a 26,700 square foot mansion, and
3:18
Speaker 1: about a dozen other structures. And it's almost like its
3:21
Speaker 1: own little village or city, if you will. Now, obviously,
3:25
Speaker 1: it's missing, you know, convenience stores and stuff like that.
3:28
Speaker 1: But I'm talking about the layout. When I was at
3:30
Speaker 1: Zorro Ranch, you can see right from the front gate,
3:33
Speaker 1: the whole entire setup that he has, the old western town, etc.
3:37
Speaker 1: And this was the property, remember, that people like the
3:40
Speaker 1: Clintons would go to, to vacation. And of course, the
3:43
Speaker 1: Clintons have denied that, denied the fact that they ever
3:46
Speaker 1: went down there. But I spoke to people who told
3:49
Speaker 1: me directly that they knew for a fact that the
3:51
Speaker 1: Clintons have been to Zorro Ranch. When I was down
3:54
Speaker 1: in New Mexico, I talked to numerous people who knew
3:57
Speaker 1: for a fact. So Bill Clinton can continue to bullshit.
4:01
Speaker 1: He can continue to tell us whatever kind of narrative
4:03
Speaker 1: he wants. But the truth is out there for the
4:06
Speaker 1: people that are willing to listen, for the people that
4:08
Speaker 1: are willing to dig. But what unfolded at Zorro Ranch
4:12
Speaker 1: has not been thoroughly investigated. Democratic Reps Andrea Romero of
4:16
Speaker 1: Santa Fe and Mariana Anaya of Albuquerque told lawmakers on
4:21
Speaker 1: their interim legislative courts, corrections, and justice committee, well, that's
4:25
Speaker 1: a fact. And that's because you willfully didn't investigate in
4:29
Speaker 1: New Mexico. Just like New York. Just like everywhere else.
4:35
Speaker 1: The states have a duty to the people, the citizens
4:37
Speaker 1: of the state, and the people who have been wronged.
4:40
Speaker 1: but they've decided to shirk that duty and just pass
4:43
Speaker 1: the buck. And as far as I'm concerned, that is
4:45
Speaker 1: completely unacceptable. Now, if you want to run a parallel
4:48
Speaker 1: investigation along with the feds, cool. But closing an investigation
4:54
Speaker 1: or not even initiating one, that's unacceptable. The Truth Commission's
4:59
Speaker 1: purpose would include finding out what officials knew, how crimes
5:03
Speaker 1: were unreported or reported, and how the state can ensure
5:07
Speaker 1: that this essentially never happens again, Romero said. There's no
5:11
Speaker 1: complete public record of what occurred, all by design, by
5:14
Speaker 1: the way. That's all by design. If you're going to
5:18
Speaker 1: have any commission, you need to bring forward all of
5:21
Speaker 1: the people that were working in the local government at
5:24
Speaker 1: the time. Anybody involved in anything involving Jeffrey Epstein needs
5:28
Speaker 1: to be brought forward. Unlike that oversight committee we see
5:32
Speaker 1: in Congress, where there's no Matthew Menschel, No Sloman. No
5:37
Speaker 1: Marie Villafana. It's a joke, honestly. And if you're just
5:41
Speaker 1: going to do this for performance purposes, don't even bother.
5:45
Speaker 1: Don't waste anybody's time. So I hope they're willing to
5:48
Speaker 1: go the extra mile. I have my doubts, but I
5:51
Speaker 1: hope they're willing to. The pair plan to introduce a
5:54
Speaker 1: House resolution during the legislative session that begins January 20th
5:59
Speaker 1: to create the Truth Commission, which would have the power
6:02
Speaker 1: to subpoena documents and testimony, they said, The commission would
6:06
Speaker 1: start its work in April and be composed of two Democrats,
6:09
Speaker 1: two Republicans, and a staff of lawyers and investigators. There
6:14
Speaker 1: are actually decades of missed opportunities for justice, Anaya said.
6:18
Speaker 1: Justice for victims, but also justice for the people of
6:21
Speaker 1: New Mexico to know what was happening in their own backyard.
6:25
Speaker 1: That's really what it comes down to. The people of
6:27
Speaker 1: New Mexico have been screwed. Absolutely treated like shit. When
6:31
Speaker 1: you elect these people, you expect them to do the
6:33
Speaker 1: right thing. I know they hardly ever do, but you
6:36
Speaker 1: expect them to do the right thing. Then you hear
6:39
Speaker 1: stuff like this, and you're just left shaking your head.
6:42
Speaker 1: It was absurd then, and it's absurd now, that there
6:45
Speaker 1: was no state-run investigation into what Jeffrey Epstein was up to.
6:50
Speaker 1: Senator Anthony Ann Thomas, from Sandia Park, whose district includes
6:55
Speaker 1: Zorro Ranch, said he is thankful for the proposal. Anything
6:59
Speaker 1: that we can do to bring clarity and transparency would
7:02
Speaker 1: be very much appreciated, he said. A few legislators pressed
7:06
Speaker 1: the co-sponsors on the timing and whether the proposal was
7:09
Speaker 1: politically motivated. I have some concerns over this, said Representative
7:14
Speaker 1: Stephanie Lord, of course, a Republican from Sandia Park. This
7:18
Speaker 1: is something I've been screaming about since day one, and
7:21
Speaker 1: I get a little angry. Like, why now? She added.
7:24
Speaker 1: Are you going to look at everybody? Well, yeah. Everybody
7:27
Speaker 1: should be looked at, isn't that the whole point? And
7:31
Speaker 1: if you're not going to look at everybody, don't even bother.
7:33
Speaker 1: Don't waste the tax dollars, and certainly don't waste anybody's time.
7:40
Speaker 1: Lord noted allegations against former Democratic Governor Bill Richardson, who
7:44
Speaker 1: died in 2023. The late Virginia Roberts alleged in a
7:47
Speaker 1: lawsuit that she had been forced to have sex with
7:50
Speaker 1: Richardson as a teen at the ranch. Richardson denied those allegations,
7:55
Speaker 1: saying the two had never met. it doesn't appear Richardson,
7:59
Speaker 1: was ever deposed in connection to the allegations by Roberts,
8:02
Speaker 1: who died by suicide earlier this year. Anaya said the
8:06
Speaker 1: commission would go wherever the evidence leads. People have come
8:09
Speaker 1: up to me and said, are you crazy? I believe
8:12
Speaker 1: the folks who will be potentially implicated in all of
8:14
Speaker 1: this are just as bipartisan as the commission will be,
8:17
Speaker 1: Anaya said. The reason to do it now, Romero added,
8:22
Speaker 1: we want to really close these legal loopholes and examine
8:24
Speaker 1: really closely the failures of of oversight to protect future generations. Well, okay,
8:30
Speaker 1: that's a good idea, but is that truly the motivation?
8:33
Speaker 1: I hope so, because the survivors and the people of
8:36
Speaker 1: New Mexico and hell, all of us deserve better. The
8:40
Speaker 1: Truth Commission would start reporting after one year of investigation,
8:44
Speaker 1: and the estimated cost would be around $ 2. 5 million, Romero said.
8:48
Speaker 1: The state attorneys general in 2023 announced Deutsche Bank had
8:52
Speaker 1: pledged nearly $ 5 million to support anti-human trafficking efforts in
8:56
Speaker 1: the state, following an investigation into financial service companies' role
9:00
Speaker 1: in failing to identify the sexual abuse and trafficking of
9:04
Speaker 1: underage girls at Zorro Ranch. But nothing going on here, right?
9:08
Speaker 1: It's all a big hoax. The banks pay out all
9:10
Speaker 1: this money during hoaxes all the time because that's what
9:13
Speaker 1: they love to do, pay out money. Romero said that
9:16
Speaker 1: the commission may be able to tap into that funding.
9:19
Speaker 1: The New Mexico Attorney General's Office launched an investigation into
9:23
Speaker 1: of Zorro Ranch in 2019. The American Prospect last month
9:27
Speaker 1: reported most of the documents related to the investigation released
9:31
Speaker 1: under a public records request were redacted. Chelsea Pitarevic, a
9:36
Speaker 1: spokesperson for the agency, which is now called the New
9:38
Speaker 1: Mexico Department of Justice, said, It appears the criminal investigation
9:42
Speaker 1: was closed before our administration took office. Yeah, that's true.
9:47
Speaker 1: They closed it because, They didn't want the drama. They
9:51
Speaker 1: didn't want all of the shadow hanging over New Mexico.
9:54
Speaker 1: So instead, let's punt in federal and let's hope people
9:57
Speaker 1: focus on New York and Florida. and that's a damn
10:01
Speaker 1: shame because I think that a lot more happened in
10:04
Speaker 1: New Mexico than we're being led to believe do you
10:08
Speaker 1: know how many exploitable young women are in New Mexico
10:12
Speaker 1: you know how many people are missing in New Mexico
10:16
Speaker 1: and you mean to tell me that Epstein wasn't up
10:17
Speaker 1: to his bullshit in New Mexico Sorry, I don't buy
10:20
Speaker 1: that for a minute. Not for one single minute. The
10:24
Speaker 1: investigation conducted under the prior administration does not seem to
10:29
Speaker 1: have uncovered any information beyond what was already identified in
10:32
Speaker 1: the broader class action lawsuit, which included victims from New Mexico,
10:37
Speaker 1: like I said. Victims from New Mexico that we have
10:40
Speaker 1: never heard about, never heard from, there's plenty of them.
10:44
Speaker 1: I can almost guarantee it. And as you know, I
10:47
Speaker 1: very rarely guarantee anything when it comes to Epstein. The
10:52
Speaker 1: Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office told the New Mexican in
10:56
Speaker 1: 2019 it had not conducted any investigation into alleged sex
10:59
Speaker 1: crimes at Zorro Ranch. The State Department of Public Safety,
11:02
Speaker 1: in a response to records requests that year, said it
11:05
Speaker 1: had no documents pertaining to Epstein. Yeah, that's true too.
11:09
Speaker 1: There was no investigation whatsoever. None. And that's one of
11:14
Speaker 1: the main reasons I went down to New Mexico when
11:16
Speaker 1: I did. Epstein's property was sold for an undisclosed price
11:19
Speaker 1: in 2023 to San Rafael Ranch LLC, a limited liability
11:24
Speaker 1: corporation created just a month before the purchase. The property
11:28
Speaker 1: at 49 Zorro Ranch Road was listed in July for $ 27. 5 million.
11:33
Speaker 1: A published report later said the sale price had dropped
11:37
Speaker 1: to $ 18 million. Epstein had told Vanity Fair Zorro Ranch
11:41
Speaker 1: made his Manhattan townhouse look like a shack. The New
11:43
Speaker 1: Mexican noted in a previous report, And it is gigantic,
11:47
Speaker 1: no doubt about it. The property is beautiful. I mean,
11:51
Speaker 1: absolutely beautiful. Now, the horror show that took place on
11:55
Speaker 1: the property, that's a different story. But the actual land itself, sprawling, beautiful,
12:01
Speaker 1: backdrop by mountains, absolutely gorgeous. The mansion was a three-level,
12:08
Speaker 1: four-bedroom structure with a large indoor pool. Near the entrance
12:13
Speaker 1: of the ranch was a small village with ten structures,
12:15
Speaker 1: including a seven-bay heated garage, a firehouse, and the property's
12:19
Speaker 1: original adobe residence, which had been expanded. The ranch also
12:24
Speaker 1: featured a three-bedroom lodge and off-the-grid log cabin, as well
12:28
Speaker 1: as a 4,400-foot airstrip with an aircraft hangar and helipad.
12:33
Speaker 1: And that's how a lot of the important guests would
12:35
Speaker 1: get to Zorro Ranch. They'd fly into either Santa Fe
12:39
Speaker 1: or Albuquerque, and then they'd be transported via helicopter. Now
12:43
Speaker 1: other people would be brought in with the Suburbans. And
12:46
Speaker 1: I talked to a bunch of people who would see
12:48
Speaker 1: these Suburbans coming in and out of Zorro Ranch. So
12:51
Speaker 1: if the folks knew it, you know that the authorities
12:54
Speaker 1: knew it as well. And they ignored it. And that's
12:58
Speaker 1: because Jeffrey Epstein was connected in the state of New Mexico, right?
13:01
Speaker 1: Bill Richardson, the Kings. There was no desire from the
13:04
Speaker 1: powers that be to go after Epstein in the state
13:07
Speaker 1: of New Mexico. And then you add to that that
13:10
Speaker 1: the age of consent was 16 years. It was a
13:13
Speaker 1: dream come true for this sick bastard. And the truth is,
13:16
Speaker 1: the powers that be in New Mexico knew exactly what
13:18
Speaker 1: Epstein was up to. And the truth is, nobody at
13:21
Speaker 1: the time cared. So let's hope that this truth commission
13:25
Speaker 1: is really looking for answers. And if they truly are
13:28
Speaker 1: looking for answers, let's hope they find them. And let's
13:30
Speaker 1: hope that they hold some people accountable. Alright folks, that's
13:34
Speaker 1: going to do it for this one. But yesterday we
13:36
Speaker 1: were talking a little bit about Maureen Comey and the
13:39
Speaker 1: accusations that were made by Nicholas Tartaglione And I was
13:42
Speaker 1: talking about the lawsuit that was filed by Clayton Howard
13:45
Speaker 1: against Diddy and Cassie Ventura. And I think it's highly
13:49
Speaker 1: relevant with the allegations that are being made by Tartaglione.
13:53
Speaker 1: So I have that lawsuit and I'm going to upload
13:56
Speaker 1: the first part of that later on today so that
13:58
Speaker 1: you get a look at that yourself and see what
14:01
Speaker 1: he's saying about Maureen Comey. Because I think that, you know,
14:05
Speaker 1: the whole story matters, right? I don't really believe what
14:07
Speaker 1: Tartaglione is saying. That way we get a full HD view.
14:11
Speaker 1: of the whole scenario. Because when Maureen Comey was fired,
14:15
Speaker 1: I pointed out that Clayton Howard had made these allegations.
14:20
Speaker 1: So is it true? Is it not true? I don't know.
14:23
Speaker 1: But I'm going to post the first part of the
14:26
Speaker 1: lawsuit and then you folks can decide for yourselves. All
14:29
Speaker 1: of the information that goes with this episode can be
14:32
Speaker 1: found in the description box. What's up everyone and welcome
14:36
Speaker 1: to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. The investigation into
14:41
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein is riddled with failures. But one of the
14:46
Speaker 1: biggest failures, in my opinion, was that there was never
14:50
Speaker 1: an expansive and robust investigation in New Mexico and into
14:55
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's activities at Zorro Ranch. And it was so
15:00
Speaker 1: disturbing to me that I went there personally. And look,
15:04
Speaker 1: it's one thing to talk about it. It's a whole
15:06
Speaker 1: ass other thing to be there. Now, of course, I
15:09
Speaker 1: wasn't inside the house. But just the property alone, you
15:12
Speaker 1: could tell that there would be nowhere to go if
15:15
Speaker 1: you were brought to this ranch. I mean, he doesn't
15:17
Speaker 1: have neighbors up there. Not the kind of neighbors that
15:20
Speaker 1: you and I would have. So say somebody was taken
15:24
Speaker 1: to that ranch against their will and they wanted to leave.
15:28
Speaker 1: They'd have to traverse through all kinds of desert. And
15:32
Speaker 1: it's high desert. So that means in the winter, there's snow.
15:36
Speaker 1: And in the summer, it's hot as shit. So no
15:39
Speaker 1: matter the time of year, unless of course, you know,
15:41
Speaker 1: you're there during the spring or something, it's going to
15:44
Speaker 1: be a very difficult task to get away from this property.
15:48
Speaker 1: And when I talked to people that live there and
15:51
Speaker 1: sources in law enforcement that were familiar with the area,
15:55
Speaker 1: there was a consensus pretty much that something very, very
15:59
Speaker 1: odd was going on at Zorro Ranch. And there was
16:04
Speaker 1: never an investigation. Place was never raided. The property was
16:09
Speaker 1: never seized, and Jeffrey Epstein's associates were allowed to continue
16:15
Speaker 1: doing whatever it is they were doing when it comes
16:18
Speaker 1: to the ranch. And I know a lot of people
16:20
Speaker 1: want to focus on the island, and that's certainly legitimate.
16:24
Speaker 1: A lot of evil took place in every one of
16:26
Speaker 1: these properties. But you have to ask yourself, why was
16:30
Speaker 1: Zorro Ranch never raided? Why did the state kick the
16:35
Speaker 1: whole investigation to the federal government? And most importantly, what
16:40
Speaker 1: really happened at Zorro Ranch? Today's article is from the
16:45
Speaker 1: Albuquerque Journal and the headline, Truthfinding Commission Focused on Epstein's
16:50
Speaker 1: Activities in New Mexico Set to Ramp Up Quickly. Good. Now,
16:55
Speaker 1: I think it's a little too late, but better late
16:58
Speaker 1: than never. And maybe they'll be able to uncover some
17:02
Speaker 1: information that we're not privy to. State records... missing persons reports,
17:07
Speaker 1: whatever it might be. Because look, I've said from the
17:11
Speaker 1: very beginning that I have a hard time believing that
17:15
Speaker 1: all these girls that were trafficked ended up going home.
17:19
Speaker 1: And I've said this from the very start about New Mexico.
17:22
Speaker 1: Something was way off. Something remains off. And even with
17:26
Speaker 1: this review, I highly doubt we're ever going to find
17:29
Speaker 1: out what really went down. Unless, of course, there's a
17:32
Speaker 1: whistleblower or one of these scumbags ends up catching some
17:36
Speaker 1: kind of disease or whatever, and they're on their deathbed,
17:39
Speaker 1: and they decide to admit what they did. But besides that,
17:42
Speaker 1: I have a hard time believing we're ever going to
17:45
Speaker 1: uncover what truly happened in New Mexico. And look, I'm
17:49
Speaker 1: not somebody that jumps on the conspiracy wagon, but when
17:52
Speaker 1: we're talking about missing girls, and girls that have been trafficked,
17:55
Speaker 1: and when you know about trafficking overall, and how dangerous
17:59
Speaker 1: it is, is it really that out of pocket to
18:02
Speaker 1: think that some of these girls might not have made
18:05
Speaker 1: it home? I mean, we've heard about two girls down
18:09
Speaker 1: in New Mexico that after rough sex ended up getting
18:12
Speaker 1: buried on the property. Now, look, I can't confirm that.
18:15
Speaker 1: I don't know. But I don't think it could be discounted.
18:18
Speaker 1: I don't think you can just ignore it. Considering everything
18:22
Speaker 1: we know about these people and everything you know about
18:25
Speaker 1: human trafficking overall, I think at this point it would
18:29
Speaker 1: be negligent not to follow up. So it's nice to
18:32
Speaker 1: see that here in New Mexico they have this truth-finding
18:35
Speaker 1: commission that And that's what they intend to do. Will
18:38
Speaker 1: they be successful? Well, we'll have to see. This article
18:42
Speaker 1: was authored by Dan Boyd. A legislative truth-finding commission tasked
18:48
Speaker 1: with digging into Jeffrey Epstein's past ties to New Mexico
18:51
Speaker 1: will begin holding meetings this week after winning approval Monday
18:56
Speaker 1: in the State House. The chamber voted 62-0 to approve
19:00
Speaker 1: creation of the four-member commission, which features two Democrats and
19:04
Speaker 1: two Republicans. That's a good way to do it. Look,
19:08
Speaker 1: we need to work together. We need to reach across
19:11
Speaker 1: the aisle and work with people who feel the same
19:13
Speaker 1: way we do. We have to build a coalition. If
19:16
Speaker 1: we want truth here, if we want real consequence, if
19:19
Speaker 1: we want a real investigation, we have to get together.
19:22
Speaker 1: We have to have a coalition of people that refuse
19:25
Speaker 1: to move on. A coalition of people who refuse to
19:29
Speaker 1: be gaslit. And to build that strong coalition, you need
19:33
Speaker 1: people from All walks of life, right? Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Socialists, whatever.
19:40
Speaker 1: I think we all have skin in the game when
19:42
Speaker 1: it comes to being controlled by these monstrous fuckbags. I mean,
19:46
Speaker 1: they can ignore one of us or two of us,
19:48
Speaker 1: but not all of us. So that's why we have
19:51
Speaker 1: to keep the pressure on these people to do the
19:53
Speaker 1: right thing. Representative Andrea Romero, Santa Fe, the lead sponsor
19:59
Speaker 1: of the measure creating the commission, House Resolution 1, said
20:03
Speaker 1: the panel would hold its first meeting on Tuesday. She
20:07
Speaker 1: was one of the four House members appointed to the commission,
20:09
Speaker 1: by House Speaker Javier Martinez, Democrat of Albuquerque, after the
20:14
Speaker 1: proposal won approval. The other members of the Investigatory Committee
20:19
Speaker 1: are Representatives Mariana Anaya, Democrat from Albuquerque, Andrea Reeb, Republican
20:26
Speaker 1: from Clovis, Bill Hall, Republican from Aztec, and Reeb is
20:30
Speaker 1: a former prosecutor, while Hall is a retired FBI agent. Well,
20:36
Speaker 1: they should know what they're doing. They should have an
20:39
Speaker 1: idea of how an investigation should go, and they should
20:42
Speaker 1: understand that what happened in the state is unacceptable. And
20:47
Speaker 1: everybody that was involved should be held accountable in some way.
20:52
Speaker 1: And I'll say the same thing in New Mexico, as
20:54
Speaker 1: I said in Florida. If people who were in positions
20:57
Speaker 1: of power are found to be involved here, or were
21:00
Speaker 1: engaging in some kind of corruption with Epstein, one way
21:03
Speaker 1: or the other, they should lose their pension. There has
21:07
Speaker 1: to be consequence. The commission will not have the ability
21:10
Speaker 1: to directly launch criminal investigations, but will be able to
21:14
Speaker 1: subpoena witnesses to testify and coordinate with law enforcement agencies.
21:19
Speaker 1: Information gathered will be posted publicly, Romero added, and a
21:23
Speaker 1: report will be presented by the end of this year. Well,
21:26
Speaker 1: that's good. Transparency is the way. Anyone who is engaging
21:31
Speaker 1: in any kind of secrecy when it comes to Epstein
21:33
Speaker 1: at this point especially probably has something to hide. That
21:37
Speaker 1: would be my guess. We will look at all the
21:40
Speaker 1: gaps in law enforcement that allow these crimes to take
21:42
Speaker 1: place and fix it, she said during Monday's debate. The
21:46
Speaker 1: idea of a temporary fact-finding commission was first floated last summer,
21:51
Speaker 1: with Romero liking it to the U.S. House Committee formed
21:55
Speaker 1: to investigate the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
22:01
Speaker 1: The idea has picked up steam and ongoing intrigue over
22:05
Speaker 1: the allegations of sexual abuse of underage girls, at Zorro
22:08
Speaker 1: Ranch in Santa Fe County. And look, when I went there,
22:12
Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, people were hip. They knew
22:16
Speaker 1: what was going on, maybe not the full extent, but
22:19
Speaker 1: they knew that some weird shit was going on at
22:22
Speaker 1: Zorro Ranch. And believe me, Zorro Ranch was chosen for
22:25
Speaker 1: a reason. He had access to the Santa Fe Institute,
22:32
Speaker 1: had access to Los Al, and had a lot of
22:34
Speaker 1: protection from a lot of politicians in the state. including
22:39
Speaker 1: Bruce King's family and of course Bill Richardson. Epstein purchased
22:45
Speaker 1: the Zorro Ranch from the family of former Governor Bruce
22:48
Speaker 1: King in 1993. The property is located near Stanley on
22:53
Speaker 1: more than 7,500 acres of land and features a 33,339
22:59
Speaker 1: square foot mansion, pool, hot tub, and other structures. It
23:04
Speaker 1: was sold for an undisclosed price in 2023 and to
23:07
Speaker 1: the family of Texas real estate mogul Don Huffines, the
23:11
Speaker 1: Santa Fe, New Mexican, recently reported, which is hilarious. Another
23:16
Speaker 1: guy connected to Trump. This shit all sounds like a novel, right?
23:20
Speaker 1: All these coincidences, all these loose ties, and then we're
23:23
Speaker 1: told to just suck it up? Oh yeah, nothing's connected.
23:26
Speaker 1: Nobody's connected here. Nobody has anything to do with any
23:29
Speaker 1: of this. You're making it all up. Zorro Ranch, great place.
23:33
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, great dude. That's the level of gaslighting that
23:37
Speaker 1: we're dealing with at this point. And it's no wonder
23:39
Speaker 1: that President Trump wants us to move on, considering all
23:43
Speaker 1: the ties that his administration has and had to Jeffrey Epstein,
23:47
Speaker 1: to hell with justice. All I care about is political expedience.
23:52
Speaker 1: I mean, that's basically what they're telling us. And look,
23:54
Speaker 1: at this point, I don't want to hear shit about
23:56
Speaker 1: coincidences when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein. Court documents and
24:00
Speaker 1: civil cases have accused Epstein of sexually assaulting teenage girls
24:05
Speaker 1: and women at the ranch, which was one of several
24:08
Speaker 1: properties owned by Epstein. The financier and convicted sex offender
24:13
Speaker 1: also reportedly had homes in New York, Florida, Paris, and
24:17
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands. No, not reportedly. He did. One plaintiff
24:22
Speaker 1: described the property in 2019 as being like a park
24:26
Speaker 1: where teenage girls were encouraged to ride horses and ATVs
24:30
Speaker 1: and use the pool and the hot tub. During Monday's debate,
24:34
Speaker 1: Representative John Black, Republican from Alamgordo, described the Zorro Ranch
24:41
Speaker 1: as a stain on New Mexico. Well, it definitely is.
24:45
Speaker 1: And when I went down there, law enforcement had no
24:48
Speaker 1: desire to talk about what was going on at the ranch.
24:52
Speaker 1: Wouldn't return my calls, wouldn't talk to me, nothing. So
24:55
Speaker 1: I hope this committee looks into why they sat on
24:58
Speaker 1: their hands. And who had what to gain? And who
25:02
Speaker 1: did gain? Who made some money? Who was in business
25:05
Speaker 1: with Epstein? Who might have, you know, enriched themselves on
25:09
Speaker 1: the pain and suffering of these girls? Probably a good
25:13
Speaker 1: question to ask, right? I mean, considering the stakes we're
25:16
Speaker 1: dealing with, considering the allegations that people were actually murdered
25:20
Speaker 1: on this property. And look, I'm very reticent to jump
25:24
Speaker 1: down that rabbit hole because you know how I feel.
25:28
Speaker 1: It's not what we know. It's what we can prove.
25:31
Speaker 1: But when we're talking about this property specifically, we've never
25:34
Speaker 1: had enough information. We've never had enough answers. So when
25:39
Speaker 1: it comes to a story like this about people who
25:43
Speaker 1: were abused and died during rough sex and buried on
25:47
Speaker 1: the property, you most certainly have my attention. Like I
25:52
Speaker 1: said a couple of weeks ago, at this point, I
25:54
Speaker 1: don't discount anything. At least not before we have the
25:57
Speaker 1: evidence one way or the other. because some of the
26:00
Speaker 1: wildest shit you could possibly imagine has turned out to
26:03
Speaker 1: be true. As New Mexicans, we should all be ashamed
26:10
Speaker 1: that this took place in our state, Block added. Epstein
26:13
Speaker 1: died in August of 2019 in a New York City
26:16
Speaker 1: jail while he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges
26:20
Speaker 1: in New York and Florida. Medical investigators determined at the
26:24
Speaker 1: time that he died by suicide. Even before his death,
26:28
Speaker 1: New Mexico state officials had investigated Epstein's actions, though no
26:32
Speaker 1: criminal charges were ever filed in the state. Bullshit. Absolute BS.
26:38
Speaker 1: Nobody raided the house. Nobody showed up there. Former Attorney
26:43
Speaker 1: General Hector Balderas launched an investigation in 2019 that included
26:48
Speaker 1: interviews with survivors. In addition, State Land Commissioner Stephanie Garcia-Richard
26:54
Speaker 1: in 2019 voided grazing leases obtained by Zorro Ranch on
26:58
Speaker 1: nearby State Trust land, claiming the leases had been used
27:02
Speaker 1: to buy privacy. Well, that's true. They did do that.
27:06
Speaker 1: But as far as an investigation, no way. Becerra's kicked
27:10
Speaker 1: it back up to the feds. They didn't even raid
27:14
Speaker 1: the house. So how can you have an investigation if
27:17
Speaker 1: you've never even raided the property? But I guarantee you,
27:21
Speaker 1: if it was drugs, the whole entire SWAT team would
27:24
Speaker 1: have kicked in the door. Just last week, Garcia Richard
27:27
Speaker 1: asked the State and Federal Departments of Justice to reopen
27:30
Speaker 1: their investigation after the release of an email alleging that
27:34
Speaker 1: two girls' bodies might be buried in the hills near
27:37
Speaker 1: the property. And look, I don't know if that's true
27:40
Speaker 1: or not, but it has to be investigated, it has
27:43
Speaker 1: to be looked at, and in my opinion, it's certainly
27:46
Speaker 1: not out of the realm of possibilities. In addition, New
27:49
Speaker 1: Mexico's current Attorney General, Raul Torres, has investigated the role
27:54
Speaker 1: different banks and financial services companies played in failing to
27:59
Speaker 1: stop the alleged sexual abuse at Zorro Ranch. Torres announced
28:04
Speaker 1: in 2023 a $ 4. 95 million pledge by Deutsche Bank to
28:09
Speaker 1: fight human trafficking in New Mexico. Oh yeah, well how
28:13
Speaker 1: does that help the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein? So not
28:16
Speaker 1: only did you ignore their abuse, but now you're going
28:19
Speaker 1: to benefit from it? and clock $ 4 million, $ 5 million.
28:23
Speaker 1: It's the same thing that happened down in the USVI.
28:27
Speaker 1: You guys realize that the USVI got more money than
28:31
Speaker 1: all of the survivors combined. Chew on that for a minute.
28:36
Speaker 1: All in all, the State Department of Justice collected $ 15
28:39
Speaker 1: million from banks associated with Epstein to support efforts to
28:44
Speaker 1: combat human trafficking. But those actions have not satisfied some lawmakers.
28:50
Speaker 1: who believe the full extent of Epstein's activity in New Mexico,
28:53
Speaker 1: has still not been adequately examined. Well, they're right. It
28:57
Speaker 1: hasn't been. But unfortunately, I don't know what we're going
29:01
Speaker 1: to uncover now. Whatever kind of evidence was at that property,
29:04
Speaker 1: long gone. And that's why I was wilding out when
29:07
Speaker 1: nobody raided this place. I couldn't believe it. All of
29:11
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's properties should have been raided simultaneously. You know,
29:16
Speaker 1: like they do everybody else. But no. They didn't even
29:20
Speaker 1: perp walk him, met him at the airport, and gave
29:22
Speaker 1: him a nice little escort to jail. It seems like
29:27
Speaker 1: Zorro Ranch got the least amount of attention of all
29:30
Speaker 1: of Epstein's properties and didn't appear to be taken as seriously,
29:34
Speaker 1: said Representative Stephanie Lord, Republican of Sandia Park, during Monday's debate. Meanwhile,
29:40
Speaker 1: the plan to investigate the activities at Zorro Ranch and
29:44
Speaker 1: publicly post findings could lead to renewed scrutiny of how
29:48
Speaker 1: much former New Mexico state officials knew about Epstein's crimes.
29:52
Speaker 1: And here we go. coming very shortly, are going to
29:57
Speaker 1: be the receipts to back up everything I've said about
30:00
Speaker 1: the politicians in New Mexico. Corrupt as fuck. Bill Richardson,
30:07
Speaker 1: the Kings, everybody around them, they all knew what Epstein was.
30:11
Speaker 1: They didn't give two shits. In fact, Bill Richardson took
30:15
Speaker 1: part in the abuse, according to Virginia, just like Tom
30:18
Speaker 1: Pritzker's bitch ass. Virginia said that he abused her too.
30:23
Speaker 1: but she was adamant about Bill Richardson and about the
30:26
Speaker 1: abuse she faced at the hands of Bill Richardson in
30:29
Speaker 1: New Mexico. Former Governor Bill Richardson, in particular, faced questions
30:36
Speaker 1: about his relationship with Epstein before Richardson's death in 2023.
30:41
Speaker 1: A spokesperson for Richardson said in 2019, the former two-term governor, congressman, diplomat,
30:49
Speaker 1: and cabinet official in the Clinton administration said, had only
30:52
Speaker 1: visited Epstein's ranch once, in 2012. But, files released this
30:57
Speaker 1: year by the U.S. Department of Justice appear to contradict
31:00
Speaker 1: that claim. Specifically, the files indicate Richardson arranged to meet
31:05
Speaker 1: with Epstein numerous times, both before and after Epstein's 2008
31:10
Speaker 1: conviction in Florida on sex charges, just as I told you.
31:15
Speaker 1: Bill Richardson was guilty of abusing Virginia. I 1,000% believe it.
31:22
Speaker 1: One thousand percent. All the evidence points to Virginia telling
31:26
Speaker 1: the truth here. And take a look at the toll.
31:29
Speaker 1: Look at all the people that Virginia said abused her
31:32
Speaker 1: and look at where they all are now. Glenn Dubin out.
31:36
Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel dead. Jeffrey Epstein dead. Ehud Barak under the microscope.
31:43
Speaker 1: Pritzker getting hammered here. Bill Richardson dead. George Mitchell dead.
31:49
Speaker 1: Marvin Minsky dead. And if you believe in a higher power, well,
31:54
Speaker 1: they're not having a good time right now. But for
31:57
Speaker 1: all the naysayers out there, if she was lying, would
32:02
Speaker 1: all these people be facing the consequences that they are
32:04
Speaker 1: now or have in the past? Now, of course, it's
32:07
Speaker 1: not far enough. If you're engaging in any kind of
32:10
Speaker 1: abuse of anybody, you should be put on trial, at
32:13
Speaker 1: the very least indicted, and we should have an investigation.
32:17
Speaker 1: But I think it's very telling that all of these
32:19
Speaker 1: people are now facing at least some kind of blowback.
32:24
Speaker 1: The truth-finding commission's work this year would be supported by
32:27
Speaker 1: a $ 2 million appropriation in a state budget bill that's
32:31
Speaker 1: still waiting final approval. Well, why don't you take some
32:34
Speaker 1: of that money you got from the banks and use
32:36
Speaker 1: some of that money to set up this commission, considering
32:39
Speaker 1: this has to do with Epstein. Probably a decent idea.
32:43
Speaker 1: But look, at least they're doing something. It's a little
32:46
Speaker 1: too late, but at least they're taking a look now. So,
32:49
Speaker 1: we'll follow along like usual, and we'll see where it
32:52
Speaker 1: all ends up, and we'll see if anybody is ever
32:54
Speaker 1: held accountable for the atrocities that took place inside and
32:59
Speaker 1: around Zorro Ranch. All of the information that goes with
33:05
Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box. What's
33:08
Speaker 1: up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles.
33:15
Speaker 1: A few days ago, we were talking about the subpoenas
33:17
Speaker 1: that were administered by by the Truth Commission in New Mexico. Well,
33:23
Speaker 1: one of those subpoenas has to do with the South
33:25
Speaker 1: Carolina story that we've talked about with the allegations against
33:29
Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Now, what are they going to find? I
33:33
Speaker 1: have no idea. But whenever somebody makes statements like this
33:36
Speaker 1: to the FBI, under oath, I feel like it has
33:40
Speaker 1: to be taken seriously and it has to be looked at. Now,
33:43
Speaker 1: does that mean after the investigation that everything comes back
33:46
Speaker 1: that it's true? No. But we don't know what's true
33:49
Speaker 1: and what's not because they refuse to really investigate. Now,
33:53
Speaker 1: I hope that's changing here with New Mexico and that
33:55
Speaker 1: they're going to do the right thing and, you know,
33:57
Speaker 1: really go deep and chase it wherever it goes. And
34:00
Speaker 1: I think that the commission has the same problem that
34:03
Speaker 1: anybody has that's investigating this. And that, of course, is
34:06
Speaker 1: the gigantic lack of trust that the people, you and I,
34:11
Speaker 1: have in institutions. So is this truth commission going to
34:15
Speaker 1: put that to rights? Are they going to change our minds? Well,
34:19
Speaker 1: they're saying the right things. The question, like usual, is
34:22
Speaker 1: if they're going to follow through. Today we have an
34:25
Speaker 1: article from the Post and Courier and the headline, New
34:30
Speaker 1: Mexico Epstein Investigation Targets Records from South Carolina and Two
34:34
Speaker 1: Other States. This article was authored by Glenn Smith. New
34:39
Speaker 1: Mexico officials have raised the possibility of more Jeffrey Epstein-related
34:43
Speaker 1: intrigue in South Carolina and after hitting federal prosecutors here
34:47
Speaker 1: with a subpoena, and in two other states, about investigations
34:51
Speaker 1: into the late financier and sex offender. Now look, these subpoenas,
34:57
Speaker 1: I'm pretty interested to see what they return, especially in
35:00
Speaker 1: places like Michigan and South Carolina. Because those places, they
35:07
Speaker 1: haven't been part of the main conversation. They're not places
35:10
Speaker 1: we've been talking about, you know, since 2019. I mean,
35:15
Speaker 1: a little bit about Michigan, you know, Interlochen and the
35:18
Speaker 1: rest of it. But besides that, not too much going
35:22
Speaker 1: on up there. But now that New Mexico is trying
35:26
Speaker 1: to get subpoenas for these locations, it opens up the door, right?
35:31
Speaker 1: What was happening? What would lead the Truth Commission to
35:34
Speaker 1: want to kick in this door? And I think that's
35:37
Speaker 1: a very, very, very interesting question. New Mexico's Truth Commission
35:42
Speaker 1: on Epstein wants to know why U.S. Attorney's Offices in
35:45
Speaker 1: South Carolina, Florida, Michigan, and the U.S. Virgin Islands chose
35:49
Speaker 1: not to press charges against them after investigations. Well, we
35:54
Speaker 1: all know why. Do you think Maine Justice would be
35:57
Speaker 1: receptive to that? And make no mistake, it's up to
36:00
Speaker 1: the Justice Department who they're going to indict, who they're
36:04
Speaker 1: going to investigate, and who they're going to let off.
36:09
Speaker 1: And I think through their actions, The DOJ has been very,
36:12
Speaker 1: very clear about who's going to be in trouble here
36:16
Speaker 1: and who's not. And the answer is, nobody's going to
36:19
Speaker 1: be in trouble. Well, if the DOJ has their way.
36:24
Speaker 1: We have information that there were investigations in each of
36:28
Speaker 1: these spaces into the activities of Jeffrey Epstein, New Mexico Rep.
36:32
Speaker 1: Andrea Romero, a Democrat and chair of the investigative committee,
36:35
Speaker 1: told reporters on a June 18th video call. And look,
36:39
Speaker 1: good news. If there's information there, let's get it. Let's
36:42
Speaker 1: see what it says. Because unlike a lot of people
36:46
Speaker 1: out here, all I've ever really wanted is a real investigation.
36:49
Speaker 1: I don't have an axe to grind against any of
36:51
Speaker 1: these politicians, against any of these people. They don't occupy
36:55
Speaker 1: space in my brain, unless we're talking about this story.
36:59
Speaker 1: So it's not like I'm on some personal crusade here.
37:01
Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm not going to ignore
37:03
Speaker 1: obvious corruption. And I don't give a shit who's in
37:06
Speaker 1: charge of that corruption. And believe me, I know that
37:09
Speaker 1: it would be way more profitable for me to pick
37:11
Speaker 1: a side. But I'm not going to do that. I'm
37:14
Speaker 1: not going to sit here and tell you that one
37:16
Speaker 1: side's better than the other. They have both failed us
37:21
Speaker 1: for decades. And while this is a step in the
37:24
Speaker 1: right direction, I have my doubts. Especially when it comes
37:29
Speaker 1: to this story right now, during a political election season.
37:33
Speaker 1: And after this election, is there still going to be
37:36
Speaker 1: this desire? Or are these people that are talking about
37:39
Speaker 1: it all the time going to just move on to
37:41
Speaker 1: the next shiny thing? And unfortunately, history has told us,
37:45
Speaker 1: they're not going to have the willpower and the political
37:49
Speaker 1: capital to stick it out. The U.S. Attorney's Office in
37:53
Speaker 1: South Carolina referred questions from the Post and Courier to
37:56
Speaker 1: the U.S. Justice Department. Officials there did not immediately offer
38:00
Speaker 1: a reply. Of course not. They're above it. They're above
38:03
Speaker 1: the fray. Main justice, they can do whatever they want.
38:08
Speaker 1: Even if that means giving somebody like Jeffrey Epstein a
38:12
Speaker 1: non-prosecution agreement. The commission, comprised of New Mexico legislators, has
38:17
Speaker 1: sought records from law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, and other entities.
38:22
Speaker 1: It's issued about 23 subpoenas to date ahead of a
38:25
Speaker 1: planned interim report in July, Reuters reported. Its investigation has
38:31
Speaker 1: extended well beyond the borders of its home state. which
38:34
Speaker 1: is home to Epstein's infamous Zorro Ranch, where alleged sex
38:38
Speaker 1: abuse occurred. Not alleged. That shit happened, okay? We're not
38:42
Speaker 1: talking about if here. We're talking about how vast it was.
38:47
Speaker 1: Just how much of it was happening. Not if it
38:50
Speaker 1: was happening. Exactly what records the panel's seeking in South
38:55
Speaker 1: Carolina remains unclear. The commission has not made public copies
39:00
Speaker 1: of the subpoenas and messages sent to its chair and staff.
39:04
Speaker 1: were not immediately returned on June 19th. So again, I
39:08
Speaker 1: don't know what those subpoenas are looking for or what
39:11
Speaker 1: they hope to find in a place like South Carolina. Now, obviously,
39:15
Speaker 1: it has to do with this Trump stuff. But after that,
39:19
Speaker 1: I have no clue. I mean, we really didn't hear
39:22
Speaker 1: much about Epstein down in South Carolina. And I'm not
39:25
Speaker 1: going to sit here and make pretend we did. So
39:28
Speaker 1: that's one place I really don't have any idea about
39:31
Speaker 1: now with Michigan like I was saying before with Interlochen
39:34
Speaker 1: I think that that's a very very good idea because
39:38
Speaker 1: we need to know more about what happened up there
39:41
Speaker 1: who was responsible for bringing Jeffrey Epstein on board all
39:44
Speaker 1: of it and of course if anybody else was abused
39:48
Speaker 1: due to their participation at those camps. But the U.S.
39:54
Speaker 1: Justice Department's release of the voluminous records from the so-called
39:58
Speaker 1: Epstein files has revealed several alleged connections the accused sex
40:02
Speaker 1: trafficker had to the Palmetto State. Now, I don't know
40:06
Speaker 1: why they call it the alleged files. That's what they are, right?
40:11
Speaker 1: Files that are related to Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes?
40:14
Speaker 1: What else should we call them? Front and center were
40:20
Speaker 1: a woman's claims to the FBI agents that Epstein sexually
40:23
Speaker 1: abused her when she was a teen living on Hilton
40:26
Speaker 1: Head Island. She later told federal investigators that Donald Trump
40:30
Speaker 1: assaulted her long before he became president, sometime around 1984
40:33
Speaker 1: in the Northeast. And look, we've been through this, and
40:38
Speaker 1: I don't know the truth. Did he? Didn't he? We
40:42
Speaker 1: don't know. And I think that's a big part of
40:44
Speaker 1: the problem. that the FBI and the DOJ refuse to
40:48
Speaker 1: release the other documents that are related to this. And
40:52
Speaker 1: I would think that if Donald Trump has nothing to
40:54
Speaker 1: worry about, nothing to hide, then this would be beneficial
40:58
Speaker 1: to him. Oh, look, another crazy person. Here's the evidence
41:01
Speaker 1: proving that it didn't happen. But we don't see that, right?
41:06
Speaker 1: Just like with the whole nonsense about the forgery. If
41:09
Speaker 1: that birthday card was a forgery, don't you think there
41:12
Speaker 1: would be an investigation? Go and pass a fake dollar
41:15
Speaker 1: bill and watch how quick Secret Service shows up. But
41:17
Speaker 1: somebody's trying to frame a sitting president and there's no
41:20
Speaker 1: investigation to speak of? The Post and Courier was first
41:26
Speaker 1: to report the woman's initial contact and interview with the
41:29
Speaker 1: FBI in July of 2019. She alleged that when she
41:33
Speaker 1: was 13, Epstein hired her to babysit while he was
41:36
Speaker 1: staying at the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head. Her mother,
41:40
Speaker 1: a realtor, offered up her services to rental clients and owners.
41:44
Speaker 1: Now look, I don't dispute that. Why would we not
41:46
Speaker 1: believe that? What, Epstein didn't go to Hilton Head? I'm
41:50
Speaker 1: sure he did. The question is, how much of the
41:54
Speaker 1: story is true? The alleged victim said she arrived at
42:00
Speaker 1: the condo and discovered there were no children. Epstein gave
42:03
Speaker 1: her drugs and alcohol and then sexually assaulted her, she
42:06
Speaker 1: told the FBI. Boy, sure sounds like those grooming gangs
42:10
Speaker 1: over in the UK, huh? Her account included sorted details
42:14
Speaker 1: of other encounters with him during his time on the islands.
42:19
Speaker 1: She and her attorney acknowledged that she had told other
42:21
Speaker 1: girls about Epstein in hopes of recruiting fresh meat, as
42:25
Speaker 1: Epstein had called it. And all of that tracks. So
42:28
Speaker 1: it really comes down to you asking yourself, is she
42:32
Speaker 1: reliable as a witness? Is she telling the truth? And
42:36
Speaker 1: I think that the only conclusion to come to is,
42:39
Speaker 1: we need more information. I don't know how anyone can
42:41
Speaker 1: look at what's been provided and decide one way or
42:45
Speaker 1: the other. We need more information. And the big problem
42:49
Speaker 1: right now is that the FBI and Donald Trump's DOJ
42:52
Speaker 1: refuse to give us that information. And what are we
42:55
Speaker 1: supposed to make of that? That's not looking good for them, right?
42:58
Speaker 1: The optics aren't good. You have these wild accusations. You
43:02
Speaker 1: have these damning accusations. But at the same time, there's
43:07
Speaker 1: no real investigation into what's going on. into if this
43:11
Speaker 1: is real or not. And this is why we need
43:13
Speaker 1: a special counsel. We're just spinning our wheels in neutral.
43:17
Speaker 1: And if you think the DOJ is going to investigate itself,
43:20
Speaker 1: if you think the DOJ is going to do the
43:22
Speaker 1: right thing under this administration, you have not been paying attention.
43:29
Speaker 1: The White House press secretary has insisted there was zero
43:32
Speaker 1: credible evidence behind the claims. The Epstein files also contain
43:37
Speaker 1: records about a former South Carolina teen, who came from
43:39
Speaker 1: an abusive family and became involved with Epstein a few
43:43
Speaker 1: years after moving to Florida when she was 15 or 16.
43:47
Speaker 1: She recounted being recruited to give Epstein massages in exchange
43:50
Speaker 1: for money, earning $ 200 for her services. Later, she and
43:55
Speaker 1: other victims sought restitution from Epstein's $ 600 million estate for
44:00
Speaker 1: the sexual abuses that they endured. And the craziest part
44:04
Speaker 1: is that the USVI got more money than all of
44:07
Speaker 1: the women put together. Chew on that shit for a minute.
44:12
Speaker 1: Other documents describe how a U.S. Customs and Border Protection
44:15
Speaker 1: agent stationed in Charleston reportedly befriended Epstein while previously posted
44:20
Speaker 1: in St. Thomas, part of the U.S. Virgin Islands, near
44:23
Speaker 1: an island owned by the financier. Epstein had a lot
44:26
Speaker 1: of people in his pocket. And if you're one of
44:29
Speaker 1: these customs agents, or somebody on the front line, and
44:33
Speaker 1: Epstein shows up offering you a bunch of dough, a
44:36
Speaker 1: lot of people are going to take it. I don't
44:38
Speaker 1: think people understand how much corruption there is. These bureaucrats
44:42
Speaker 1: are not squeaky clean people. CBP officials became concerned about
44:48
Speaker 1: Agent Timothy Rauch in 2019, worrying that the veteran inspector
44:53
Speaker 1: in the North Charleston office had grown too close with
44:55
Speaker 1: Epstein while stationed at the St. Thomas Airport. Federal airport
45:00
Speaker 1: officials on the island, which is a U.S. territory, had
45:04
Speaker 1: frequent contact with Epstein as he ferried passengers and packages
45:07
Speaker 1: to to Little St. James, his private Caribbean luxury island
45:11
Speaker 1: at the center of his sexual crimes. Was it really, though?
45:14
Speaker 1: I mean, I know that's where the focus was, but
45:17
Speaker 1: I think that the most dastardly acts, the worst of
45:21
Speaker 1: the worst crimes, I think they happened in New Mexico.
45:25
Speaker 1: One document from a 2019 meeting indicated Rauch had acknowledged
45:30
Speaker 1: going to Epstein's house, being on his boat, and flying
45:33
Speaker 1: in his helicopter for whale watching. Jeffrey Epstein was just
45:37
Speaker 1: a lone predator. He had no contacts, no power, and
45:40
Speaker 1: he certainly wasn't somebody that was connected to the government
45:43
Speaker 1: in any way. Meanwhile, back here in reality, the FBI
45:49
Speaker 1: opened a preliminary probe into Rauch according to an email
45:52
Speaker 1: released by the Justice Department. Federal investigators dug into Rauch's background,
45:58
Speaker 1: interviewing Epstein's pilot about the CBP agent's relationship with the
46:02
Speaker 1: convicted felon, and even subpoenaing Rauch's credit report according to documents.
46:08
Speaker 1: What does that mean? Why are you looking for his
46:10
Speaker 1: credit report? How about his bank statement? Nothing apparently came
46:15
Speaker 1: of the inquiry, and Rauch told the Post and Courier
46:18
Speaker 1: in February that he never had a close relationship with Epstein.
46:22
Speaker 1: That whole thing is lies. Everything said in there about me.
46:25
Speaker 1: I don't know Epstein. I don't have any relationship with him,
46:27
Speaker 1: Rauch said at the time. Yeah, yeah, they just decided
46:30
Speaker 1: to investigate you for no reason, dude. That's what happened.
46:35
Speaker 1: Let's throw darts at a dartboard, and we'll just pick
46:38
Speaker 1: a name. Epstein was found dead in a New York
46:42
Speaker 1: prison cell in 2019. His death ruled a suicide. He
46:46
Speaker 1: was being held in custody after the U.S. Attorney's Office
46:48
Speaker 1: through the Southern District of New York charged him with
46:52
Speaker 1: sex trafficking of minors. And I think it's going to
46:54
Speaker 1: be real interesting to see where New Mexico goes with
46:57
Speaker 1: this truth commission. Because there's a lot of avenues to explore.
47:01
Speaker 1: And I think that one of the places that has
47:05
Speaker 1: the least amount of information about it that's publicly known
47:09
Speaker 1: is certainly Zorro Ranch. So, like usual, we're going to
47:12
Speaker 1: keep on keeping on, and when we have some more
47:14
Speaker 1: information to share about the Truth Commission and their investigation,
47:18
Speaker 1: we'll get it added to the catalog. All the information
47:22
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
47:26
Speaker 1: description box.
