- 0:56SPEAKER_02: In this audio episode for you guys, we're going to talk about why so many people are pivoting right now.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: And I just went live and spoke about this, but I want to come on here and drop an audio on this for the podcast because so many people are pivoting right now.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: And it's really showing you what happens when your nervous system stops running your life from survival.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: Because everyone thinks that they're, you know, changing careers, they're pivoting industries, they're they don't know what they want.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: That's not actually what's happening.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: What's happening is we're watching thousands of people become incompatible with lives that they built from survival, from misalignment, from not what they actually wanted.
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: They aren't losing motivation, they're losing tolerance.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Things that once felt normal suddenly feel impossible.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: Not because they're lazy, but because their nervous system no longer wants to spend energy maintaining these identities that aren't true.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: And so what does that look like?
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: It's like I can't keep posting like this, I can't keep creating content like this, I don't want to launch like that anymore.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: I don't even know if I want this business.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I want this relationship.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: And then they think something is wrong with them, but nothing is wrong.
- 2:41SPEAKER_02: It's just your nervous system is becoming more honest.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: And this is where when you do the rewiring work, it can make things confusing, and you end up in what is called the messy middle.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Because the old identity hasn't fully died, but your real identity hasn't fully come in yet.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: And so it feels like the I don't know who I am when really you're no longer who you were pretending to be.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: That land.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: It's a huge difference.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: It's really you don't know who you are because you were pretending before or you're evolving out of that.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: And one of the biggest misconceptions is that healing kills ambition.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: Healing doesn't kill ambition, it kills survival ambition.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: And so there's two different sources of ambition, right?
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: You can have survival ambition, which is ambition from the point of not feeling whole and complete, from I'll finally be enough.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: I have to prove myself.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I can't slow down.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: If I stop, I'll lose everything.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: I need them to see me.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: I have to be chosen, I have to earn love.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: But then there's truth-based ambition, which is I genuinely want to build this.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: Like I love creating, I love excellence, I love seeing what's possible.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: I feel called to XYZ.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: I would build this even if nobody was watching or nobody clapped.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: The external behavior can look identical, but the internal fuel is completely different.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: One expands you, the other one is exhausting.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: So you can see the difference, and that's why so many people are pivoting right now, because they're doing more into their work, and it killed their ambition, but that's because they were operating in survival ambition, not truth-based ambition.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: Right, survival exhausts you, truth-based expands you, right?
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: So it's about the source, like I said, the internal fuel.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: Not because they became confused, but because they actually became honest.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: And they're starting right now to be honest with themselves more than ever because they reached a point where they can no longer operate like that, where they can no longer keep pushing in a direction that's operating from force.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: That's huge.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: And this is where you can develop obsession that is true.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: One of the greatest skills you can develop is becoming obsessed with what's true.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: When you are obsessed with what's true for you and what you love, a I mean, we can add in that saying you'll never have to work a day in your life, which is true.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: You will go so much faster and further.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: When you are genuinely obsessed from truth, not from survival, not from a wound, right?
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: Not from I need this thing to feel complete, but just what's true, not what's trending, not what's impressive, not what everyone else says you should do, what's true.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: And so in order to find out what's true for you, you have to ask yourself questions like, does this actually energize me?
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: Does this give me life?
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: When I think about the work that I do, it gives me life.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: There is absolutely nothing I love more than helping people in my business.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: Like that's just it's the truth or the fact.
- 7:07SPEAKER_02: It it energizes me.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: But I also love the podcast.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: I love everything I you see me doing is because I love it.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: I frough that I'm obsessed.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: This might be a Sagittarius quality in me, but I have zero or hundred.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: I'm obsessed or I'm a so actually asking yourself, does this energize me?
- 7:31unknown: Right?
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Would I still choose this if nobody was watching?
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: Am I doing this because I want to or because I don't know who I'd be without it?
- 7:41SPEAKER_02: Is this coming from fear or aliveness?
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Because the thing is that the nervous system doesn't just store, you know, unprocessed emotions or trauma, whatever you want to call it, it stores identities, right?
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: It stores who you learned you had to be to stay safe.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: And so that's why in this season you are becoming available for a completely different identity.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: And so if you're in this season, right, this really isn't asking you to become someone new.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: It's asking you to stop being loyal to versions of yourself that were really just trying to survive or coming from a lack of whole and completeness.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: That's really what it's asking, is not to be loyal from survival ambition versus truth ambition.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: It's asking you, what are you genuinely obsessed with?
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: What genuinely lights you out?
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: What do you actually want to do?
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: What do you actually love?
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: What is true for you?
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: And one of the clearest signs that your nervous system is rewiring isn't, by the way, that you suddenly know exactly what to do.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: It's that you can no longer tolerate betraying what's true for you.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: And this is where, you know, this is important for me to mention.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: I don't think I mentioned this on the live, but when you heal or rewire, that doesn't automatically mean changing everything.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: I think some people fear doing the inner work because they think it means that they'll quit their business, leave their partner, lose all their drive when in reality most people discover it that they still want the same vision, they just simply stop pursuing it from fear or proving or urgency or self-abandonment.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: The dream stays, it's just the way that they relate to it completely transforms.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: And that's also far more empowering.
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: So I want you to really let this land.
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: I know this is kind of a short episode, but this is why you see so many people pivoting right now.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: Because we're watching thousands of people become incompatible, like I said earlier, with lives and businesses that weren't actually what they wanted.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: I would love to hear how this episode landed for you.
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: Ask yourself these questions, and I cannot wait to see what you do when you stop operating from survival ambition, when you start operating from truth-based ambition, you stop betraying what's true for you, and you actually become so obsessed, like healthy obsessed.
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: And this partly came from a post I made a real when people say, Liv, why are you so obsessed?
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: Like it's a bad thing.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: I'm like, Yes, I am obsessed, but it's a healthy obsession.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: I know what it's like to come from obsession that you're trying to finally feel whole and complete.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: I was raised by a mom who, when I came home with a 98% on a test, she asked me where the 2% was.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: Very aware of what survival ambition looks like.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: Everything I did for most of my life was to finally basically have mom be proud of me.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: Ironically enough, nothing I did was ever enough until I actually healed myself, rewired my nervous system, came back to myself, operated from wholeness and completeness.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: And then years later, she started saying things like, oh my God, I'm so proud of you.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: I think she said that more in the last couple years than she said my entire life.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: But I didn't need it anymore.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: She said that to me 10 years ago, I would have balled my eyes out.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: That would have been everything to me.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: Now I kind of smile because I'm like, hee, it's because I became proud of myself.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: Let this land and I'll speak to you soon.
