Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
February 1st, 2025. And well, I thought I was doing
• 0:28
all right for a bit last night, and then, well, Nuggets let me
• 0:33
down and centers. Sixers came back and made it a
• 0:37
  game. Ultimately, Sixers lost, Nuggets
• 0:41
won, but it wasn't by double digits as I was hoping and as I
• 0:45
needed. But that's way it goes.
• 0:49
But here's the thing. We were watching that game last
• 0:52
night. It didn't go as we wanted.
• 0:54
We had the Nuggets then. Now today we know that the
• 0:57
Nuggets played last night. We know that they played well
• 1:01
early and then they faded. Now tonight, guess what?
• 1:04
  They're playing again. So it's a back-to-back Rd. games
• 1:09
on a road series arduous that they've had.
• 1:13
Yes, they're playing the Hornets who suck.
• 1:17
Yes, the ball kid is out, which makes them suck even more.
• 1:22
But here's the thing, Denver still favored by 12 1/2.
• 1:27
They're probably going to win, but I don't think they're going
• 1:29
to cover that 12 1/2. They may get out early, look
• 1:33
like it, but I think again, they're just not going to have
• 1:37
their legs in the fourth quarter.
• 1:38
They're going to have a chance to get that back door cover and
• 1:42
that's what's going to happen. So that's where we're going to
• 1:44
put our money. I can't believe I'm doing it,
• 1:47
but yes, I am going to bet on the Charlotte Hornets.
• 1:50
I know, I know. So we're going to take Charlotte
• 1:53
Hornets plus 12 1/2 against the Denver Nuggets and tonight's NBA
• 1:59
basketball action. You see anything better than
• 2:01
  that? Pound it.
• 2:03
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
