Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You know what else feels good? Falling in love? Oh gosh,
- 0:03Speaker 1: when you are just a smitten little kitten. Well, and
- 0:06Speaker 1: that's just in Amand And I've seen you this way,
- 0:09Speaker 1: particular with this last guy you've been seeing, You've seen
- 0:13Speaker 1: me this way. I still feel like I haven't. Yeah,
- 0:18Speaker 1: nothing will ever match the energy you had when you
- 0:20Speaker 1: and Nick were first starting to date. I mean, I
- 0:23Speaker 1: think about how giddy I was, and it makes me excited.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It makes me want to vomit. I remember how annoyed
- 0:29Speaker 1: you were, like, oh, incredibly, I'm annoyed thinking about it.
- 0:32Speaker 1: But there are things when you're in that state like
- 0:34Speaker 1: Amanda was, you can overlook. Can you stop saying was
- 0:39Speaker 1: I still love my husband very much? I'm just saying
- 0:42Speaker 1: at the beginning, people get a little caught up and
- 0:44Speaker 1: they can easily overlook these little things that they might
- 0:49Speaker 1: in the back of you head go, oh that's kind
- 0:51Speaker 1: of weird. But you know what, I love this guy
- 0:52Speaker 1: and I'm excited about the big picture. So no, we
- 0:54Speaker 1: would never do that. Oh you do it did does?
- 0:59Speaker 1: So here are the little thing that people overlook. You
- 1:01Speaker 1: want to be aware of these things, for example, like
- 1:02Speaker 1: if he only talks about himself. Oh yeah, that's a
- 1:06Speaker 1: little red flag for you. Yeah, are you awareing that?
- 1:09Speaker 2: I mean, I think that would be you would think
- 1:12Speaker 2: you would notice it. But at the same time, if
- 1:14Speaker 2: you are so smitten over somebody, you're probably like, I
- 1:17Speaker 2: just want to know more about it. I'm hooked on
- 1:20Speaker 2: you exactly exactly, not realizing like they actually have never
- 1:24Speaker 2: once asked about you or your feelings.
- 1:27Speaker 1: That's when you got to have a real red flag.
- 1:29Speaker 1: That's just in any conversation. That's a red flag for me,
- 1:31Speaker 1: even just like meeting people like, oh, here, were ten
- 1:34Speaker 1: minutes into a conversation and I'm just hearing about you
- 1:37Speaker 1: and this and that, And that's fine. It's not like
- 1:40Speaker 1: I'm wanting to talk about myself. But it just tells
- 1:42Speaker 1: me kind of what I need to say, that you
- 1:44Speaker 1: are he has no table manners. Look out for this one.
- 1:49Speaker 1: That's a that's a deal breaker for a lot of people. No,
- 1:53Speaker 1: you know, just eating with his hands, making a mess. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I could see that just a real man. See I'm
- 2:01Speaker 1: biased because this is me. I would say, a bit,
- 2:04Speaker 1: a bit messy, a bit maybe appalling at the dinner table.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I don't know if it's happening.
- 2:10Speaker 2: No, it's a little alarming, depending on what kind of
- 2:13Speaker 2: food it is and what it is. I mean sometimes
- 2:15Speaker 2: it's like, oh, big Chinese food guy, you know, like
- 2:19Speaker 2: you'll hover, you're and because I know you, it doesn't
- 2:22Speaker 2: FaZe me. But you're definitely the guy who like is
- 2:24Speaker 2: protecting your food as though you just don't want anybody
- 2:27Speaker 2: else to go near it.
- 2:28Speaker 1: But it kind of looks like you're like, don't come
- 2:30Speaker 1: near me. It's a primal ins. Yeah, it goes back
- 2:33Speaker 1: to my ancestors. We're trying to protect it from bears
- 2:37Speaker 1: and other creatures. I didn't know.
- 2:38Speaker 2: If it's from your wrestling days, you're like, oh my gosh,
- 2:40Speaker 2: this is the only plate of food I'm cutting way.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, the basketball players would always come steal our lunch,
- 2:45Speaker 1: so you had to be careful. Guys, this is all
- 2:47Speaker 1: I get to eat today. Oh gosh. Uh. If he's
- 2:51Speaker 1: always late without an actual excuse, yeah, that would be
- 2:54Speaker 1: so annoying. Yeah, he won't put down his phone. This guy. Again,
- 2:58Speaker 1: These are good for really for any situation totally. Yeah,
- 3:01Speaker 1: he can't stop talking about his ax. Careful about that.
- 3:05Speaker 1: That would be brutal.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I mean, that would be just an automatic you're not
- 3:09Speaker 2: over this person, I'm out.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It's tough because when you're dating, there's a good chance
- 3:13Speaker 1: that they're like newly single, you know, so it's like
- 3:15Speaker 1: a possibly yeah, it's a fresh wound still, I'm sure.
- 3:18Speaker 1: So it's weighing heavy on their mind.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Or trying to do the comparison, because I can also
- 3:23Speaker 2: see as you're walking through that or you're you know,
- 3:26Speaker 2: you maybe have stuff in your past that you want
- 3:28Speaker 2: to talk about that could be a little dicey.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's up to that. It says a lot if
- 3:33Speaker 1: they're able to have like the self control of just
- 3:35Speaker 1: don't talk about it. I know you're thinking about it,
- 3:37Speaker 1: but you don't need to say everything you think.
- 3:39Speaker 2: One thing that always bothers me to is somebody who
- 3:42Speaker 2: talks really really poorly about their X no matter what,
- 3:45Speaker 2: because you always got a question like so they were
- 3:47Speaker 2: all really bad like that. That's when you kind of
- 3:50Speaker 2: have to question like that would give me a red
- 3:51Speaker 2: flag thinking it's probably you, sir, he's critical of what
- 3:56Speaker 2: you eat. Yeah, probably just throw this guy in the
- 3:59Speaker 2: trash of that's the case if you're on the first
- 4:01Speaker 2: day and he goes really like dessert, what we just.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Ate a whole meal. You ever had that?
- 4:08Speaker 2: No?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I like to think that. I can't even imagine.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And then finally, the number one deal breaker that you
- 4:15Speaker 1: should never overlook, and this is for me the biggest too.
- 4:19Speaker 1: He's rude to the weight staff. Just on again on
- 4:22Speaker 1: a person level, Like if you're just rude to weight staff,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you're the worst. Never understand why anybody would be that way.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Every tell you. I had this thing happen where I
- 4:31Speaker 1: was at a restaurant. And this is like a late
- 4:33Speaker 1: night diner situation, like middle of the night, got it
- 4:36Speaker 1: your fourth meal? Yep? You know, when they come up,
- 4:38Speaker 1: they give you the menus, and then some time goes by,
- 4:41Speaker 1: and that's when you're supposed to be looking at the menus,
- 4:43Speaker 1: and then they come back up to take your order. Well,
- 4:45Speaker 1: how many times have you done it? Especially at this
- 4:46Speaker 1: point of the night. You're just not paying attention. You
- 4:48Speaker 1: haven't even begun to look when they come back. So
- 4:51Speaker 1: waiter comes back and she says, are you guys ready
- 4:54Speaker 1: to order? And I said something because I feel like
- 4:56Speaker 1: an idiot because I hadn't even looked at the menu.
- 4:58Speaker 1: So I said something like, you know, God, if only
- 5:01Speaker 1: you would have given us more time or something sarcastic,
- 5:04Speaker 1: suggesting like I'm the idiot who didn't look in the
- 5:06Speaker 1: ten minutes and she threw it was it must have
- 5:10Speaker 1: been the absolute last straw for her that day. Threw
- 5:13Speaker 1: down the little paper notepad and just said I'm done
- 5:16Speaker 1: and walked away. What. I was shocked. You made her
- 5:20Speaker 1: quit her job like that, I'm done, She's done. She
- 5:23Speaker 1: walked out like literally imagine her taking her apron off,
- 5:27Speaker 1: throws down the notebook, and I'm like, in disbelief.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Did you say, I'm so sorry? I dry sense of humor.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I didn't even think it was a dry I thought
- 5:37Speaker 2: it was chummy. I thought it was chummy. Yeah, but
- 5:40Speaker 2: you also were probably on first of all, clearly fourth meal.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You're a different level than she is.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and who knows how many of you she's had
- 5:47Speaker 2: to deal with all night.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I think about that often. I think about where her
- 5:51Speaker 1: life is now, that like what path I sent her
- 5:54Speaker 1: down because of this really a good one, you think,
- 5:57Speaker 1: so you're probably her number one story.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Now.
- 5:59Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I got out of waitressing because there was this punk
- 6:03Speaker 2: kid who showed up and.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He's up on the eighth floor of the Bank of
- 6:08Speaker 1: the West Building, or what's the big what the heck
- 6:10Speaker 1: is that building? Likely that one? Is it the Bank
- 6:13Speaker 1: of the West Building? Or that was that twenty years ago?
- 6:16Speaker 1: There's the Bell Bank Tower. Thank you, that's that Bell
- 6:18Speaker 1: Bank Tower. She's up on the eighth floor of Bell
- 6:20Speaker 1: Bank going, thank god, that idiot ruined my night. Look
- 6:24Speaker 1: at me.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Now, Ada in the morning, big naty eight point seven,
- 6:28Speaker 4: already ready.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That's he is piping hot today.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And now Amanda.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Fills the sea. Let's see Fronti by Park Company, Reil Tours.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Oh Boy bear with her Britney spears. She jumped on
- 6:42Speaker 2: Instagram to tell the world that she thinks Sabrina Carpenter's
- 6:45Speaker 2: alien kissing VMA performance was a little weird. Now keep
- 6:49Speaker 2: in mind she did this on her Instagram and she
- 6:52Speaker 2: is it's like a selfie video. She's got mascara or
- 6:56Speaker 2: kind of eyeliner all over her.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Famous you know Brittany's Instagram. Look, it's like a whole vibe.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it is a whole vibe. She takes us on
- 7:04Speaker 2: a journey. If you missed it, Sabrina Carpenter did kind
- 7:07Speaker 2: of it was more of a Katie Perry kind of performance.
- 7:10Speaker 2: In my opinion at the VMA's it was a little odd,
- 7:13Speaker 2: but whatever.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Really is from pop stars, there's nothing they could do
- 7:17Speaker 1: because we've seen it all at this point, between Donna
- 7:19Speaker 1: back in the day but bring Me Yes, Mightley Cyrus
- 7:22Speaker 1: will not forget that era, Lady Gaga hanging meat from
- 7:25Speaker 1: her body. Yeah, from a wrecking ball to kissing a girl,
- 7:28Speaker 1: all of it.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Uh. Brittany though had this to say, you might want
- 7:32Speaker 2: to pull over.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Here you go?
- 7:35Speaker 5: Okay, So did you guys watch them VMAs? I didn't
- 7:39Speaker 5: watch the VMAs, but I did see stuff on my
- 7:42Speaker 5: phone from YouTube of Sabrina Clappenter Why she kissing an
- 7:47Speaker 5: alien on stage? I adore her, I love her today.
- 7:50Speaker 5: I didn't understand that part. Why didn't she kiss a girl?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Like?
- 7:55Speaker 3: That was weird?
- 7:56Speaker 1: Why would kissing an alien? I don't think it's supposed
- 7:59Speaker 1: to make sense. You're not missing like a theme or anything.
- 8:03Speaker 1: This is a weird thing she's doing anyway.
- 8:06Speaker 5: But I also thought that, like the whole thing was
- 8:10Speaker 5: kind of like weird altogether. But after that, after watching that,
- 8:14Speaker 5: I took a really long bath and I am actually
- 8:19Speaker 5: color and into coloring right now. I like to color
- 8:22Speaker 5: and I like to trace and the pictures and then
- 8:26Speaker 5: go back over it with light and yeah, I just
- 8:29Speaker 5: know why I'm talking about that or why I'm talking.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Oh, it's I'm really confused.
- 8:32Speaker 2: We're talking about a VMA performance and you're telling me
- 8:35Speaker 2: about your hobbies of coloring and tracing.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, tracing over the yeah, yeah, and then the bath thing.
- 8:41Speaker 5: What it's because it's Sabrina girl. She she said my
- 8:45Speaker 5: name on the red carpet, and I thought that was
- 8:47Speaker 5: kind of cool because I forget I'm famous sometimes.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I'm mom.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But I'm sorry, Pike. Did you mess up this? At it? Yeah?
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to think did something gets it up here?
- 9:00Speaker 1: Let's listen back. No, that's Brittany making that noise with
- 9:06Speaker 1: her mouth. You know when you're a kid and you
- 9:08Speaker 1: kind of find a new sound to make with your
- 9:10Speaker 1: mouth and you keep doing it in the back seat
- 9:11Speaker 1: because it's kind of fun. That's what that was. That
- 9:14Speaker 1: was kind of cool.
- 9:15Speaker 5: The Sabrina Girl carpenter, she's like she said something. My
- 9:19Speaker 5: sims like, thanks.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That's cool. Cool shot is she? Now a seal was
- 9:30Speaker 1: not replicate that sound?
- 9:31Speaker 3: Again?
- 9:31Speaker 1: It is too much. It's odd. It's odd, for sure,
- 9:35Speaker 1: but it's more the same, more the same from Britt.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and Dave Girl's wife Jordan Bloom is leaning on
- 9:43Speaker 2: her pal Kate Hudson following the cheating love child scandal
- 9:46Speaker 2: that we all found out about this week. I think
- 9:48Speaker 2: it sent a lot of people. It was one of
- 9:50Speaker 2: those Dave Girl. I don't know why it was as
- 9:54Speaker 2: surprising just coming from him. He has been married to
- 9:57Speaker 2: Jordan since two thousand and three. And Kate just I
- 10:00Speaker 2: had to send her a huge basket of balloons with
- 10:02Speaker 2: personalized phrases on them, including stay strong. I gotta tell you,
- 10:05Speaker 2: I love that there's supportive friends, especially in a situation
- 10:08Speaker 2: like this. That's all you have is just your friends,
- 10:10Speaker 2: and you want to cry on their shoulder. But I
- 10:12Speaker 2: don't know how I would feel somebody sent me a
- 10:14Speaker 2: bunch of balloons that said stay strong after my husband
- 10:18Speaker 2: cheated on me and had.
- 10:20Speaker 1: A secret child.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It's almost like rubbing it in, like and then I'm
- 10:24Speaker 2: just gonna have them went around my house until they deflate.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and Dave's not that we feel bad for Dave,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but he's got to come home and see these ballues.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I don't know if he's coming home to that maybe
- 10:33Speaker 2: that was a whole point, Like maybe it's like, hey,
- 10:35Speaker 2: I have all this support.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know. It's it's brutal for her because
- 10:41Speaker 1: if she does decide to, you know, move on, move
- 10:44Speaker 1: past it, it's like one thing to do it. And
- 10:47Speaker 1: then now you have this reminder that he's constantly he's
- 10:50Speaker 1: got to be there for this child. Now you're a
- 10:52Speaker 1: stepmom to a love child. Yeah, yeah, and it's not
- 10:55Speaker 1: the child, it is Dave's fart. Dave to day at
- 11:02Speaker 1: big time.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Here.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Now we're all sitting here smelling it trending. Now, here's
- 11:08Speaker 1: what you need to know.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Targo Public School says a vague threat made over Snapchat
- 11:12Speaker 2: was not credible. The research was made aware of a
- 11:14Speaker 2: potential threat to Fargo schools Thursday morning. Fargo police investigated
- 11:18Speaker 2: and they learned that the threat did not originate in
- 11:19Speaker 2: the Fargo area. Police are continuing to investigate, and I
- 11:22Speaker 2: know a lot of parents and students. It's just very unsettling.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I feel like this has been happening way too often.
- 11:27Speaker 2: But thankfully these threats are not viable.
- 11:29Speaker 1: It's just.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Bargo Peda is also a learning residence of a scam.
- 11:35Speaker 2: It's called brushing. I have never heard of this, but
- 11:38Speaker 2: it has appeared across many states, but now it's right
- 11:41Speaker 2: here in Fargo. So a brushing scam is when you
- 11:43Speaker 2: receive an unexpected package in the mail from a well
- 11:46Speaker 2: known company. Now, the package will have items in it
- 11:48Speaker 2: like ring, bracelet, Bluetooth speakers or other gifts. However there's
- 11:52Speaker 2: no center information. It looks suspicious when you open the package.
- 11:56Speaker 2: There's a QR code to scan inside, claiming to reveal
- 11:59Speaker 2: then who's at you the gift. Do not scan this
- 12:03Speaker 2: QR code, avoiding interacting with it at all costs, because
- 12:07Speaker 2: as soon as you scan that code, these scammers are
- 12:10Speaker 2: using it to gain access to your personal and financial
- 12:12Speaker 2: information on your phone.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I'm an idiot, but I don't get how they could
- 12:16Speaker 1: do that. You know, we scan QR codes all the time.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean this is probably a next level scam.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope not, because that's scary. I'll never scan
- 12:26Speaker 1: one again. If you I'm sorry. If your menu is
- 12:28Speaker 1: only a q carcode, I'm just gonna have to guess.
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna guess. I'm gonna take on the third thing.
- 12:33Speaker 2: On the left side of the menu, And that's what
- 12:36Speaker 2: I'm going with, you have wings?
- 12:37Speaker 1: How are the wings?
- 12:38Speaker 3: Sure?
- 12:39Speaker 1: This is a Chinese restaurant? Do you ever had Korean
- 12:42Speaker 1: barbie wings? Not that that's Chinese, it's a different Asian country,
- 12:47Speaker 1: of course. Yeah.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I feel like I've had Korean barbecue sauce, but I
- 12:50Speaker 2: don't know if I like, I don't know if I've.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Had authentic from Costco. No, the bottle of Korean barbecue
- 12:58Speaker 1: they sell, no, No, I think ours is from Aldie.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Oh man, it's so good. Let's put on everything. I literally,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'll make potato, broccoli and chicken, and I'll just cover
- 13:07Speaker 1: the whole thing in the barbecue sauce. Yep, I'll wrap
- 13:10Speaker 1: myself down before bed condiment and go to I would say, yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: that and just a tradish barbecue, got it? I like Ranch.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Vice President Kamala Harris continue to push for a second
- 13:22Speaker 2: debate with Trump.
- 13:23Speaker 1: During a campaign rally yesterday, she.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Repeated her comments that everyone heard the same old tire
- 13:28Speaker 2: playbook from former President Trump. Now it doesn't look like
- 13:32Speaker 2: it's going to happen because this is what the Trumpster
- 13:34Speaker 2: had to say.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I like spicy mustard. You can't put it on as much,
- 13:39Speaker 1: but it's still good. Oh, sorry the audio here you go.
- 13:41Speaker 3: We just don't think it's necessary.
- 13:43Speaker 4: We won the two I had one with as you know, Joe,
- 13:46Speaker 4: I was quite a famous debate, and.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Then we had another one the other day.
- 13:50Speaker 4: And it was both very successful.
- 13:51Speaker 3: In fact, my phone numbers went up since the debate.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It's impossible to argue. I do like a horse. Radish
- 14:00Speaker 1: horse ride is based where it's got the kind of
- 14:01Speaker 1: bite to.
- 14:02Speaker 2: A little bite to it. Yes, and I am hungry
- 14:06Speaker 2: thinking about it. Weather today, we are gonna get some sunshine,
- 14:09Speaker 2: a little bit of breeze this afternoon and then a
- 14:11Speaker 2: chance of a thunderstorm through the overnight. I have eighty
- 14:13Speaker 2: four today This weekend though, looking beautiful, nothing but sunshine,
- 14:16Speaker 2: mid eighties, maybe even hitting ninety on Sunday.
- 14:19Speaker 5: I get a mina in the morning, see seven.
- 14:24Speaker 1: All right, well, let's welcome in in and I think
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'll take the pleasure this week, Amanda, I think you
- 14:28Speaker 1: did last time, sir. Right, without further ado, wam bam,
- 14:32Speaker 1: Thank you, Sam, Sam Peterman voice of oar Ndsu Buison
- 14:37Speaker 1: are one and one and YSU Buyson.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for our friends at Gateway Chevrolet. We get
- 14:41Speaker 2: to check in with sam every week and just kind
- 14:44Speaker 2: of get a rundown.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Oh what's going on behind the scenes?
- 14:47Speaker 2: And more importantly, we're looking ahead tomorrow gonna be another
- 14:50Speaker 2: big game.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yeah, thanks Amanda, Thanks Pike. Appreciate you guys having me
- 14:54Speaker 4: East Tennessee State tomorrow, Johnson City, Tennessee. So the famous
- 15:00Speaker 4: wagon wheel Darius Rucker, Oh song lyric right forget?
- 15:04Speaker 1: He says favorite songs Wheels one of your favorite songs. Yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 1: that's like saying the Cupid Shuffle is one of your
- 15:13Speaker 1: favorite songs. Is that even possible? That's a super statement.
- 15:18Speaker 1: That is what a lame song to be your favorite song.
- 15:23Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 15:24Speaker 4: I don't know why you're coming out of Amanda so hard
- 15:26Speaker 4: on this. I mean, I think wagon Wheels are great,
- 15:28Speaker 4: So it's not as basic as a Cupid shovel.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It actually doesn't want to rock me Mama like a
- 15:32Speaker 1: way place in the world, and I appreciate it for that.
- 15:36Speaker 1: But it's like, what's next the y M C A.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Which is also a good song. Can we shut his
- 15:42Speaker 1: microphone up when he's in charge over there?
- 15:45Speaker 2: That's about really quick, though. Is the game gonna be
- 15:47Speaker 2: like last week a complete blowout or are.
- 15:49Speaker 4: They gonna give us a little competition, you know, potential
- 15:52Speaker 4: potential for sure. It's just a gonna be an interesting
- 15:55Speaker 4: game because the Bison are playing these guys for just
- 15:58Speaker 4: the second time ever. We actually played them in the
- 16:00Speaker 4: playoffs a few years ago, beat them pretty good here
- 16:03Speaker 4: in the pharo Dome, but this is the first time
- 16:05Speaker 4: we've ever played there at East Tennessee State and it
- 16:09Speaker 4: sounds like it's their super Bowl, like they're pulling out
- 16:11Speaker 4: all the stops or trying to sell it out. About
- 16:13Speaker 4: ten thousand people. They're there, football hungry fans down there.
- 16:16Speaker 4: They like the game. Yeah, so it could be a
- 16:18Speaker 4: unique atmosphere. They've done a lot of nice things. They
- 16:22Speaker 4: got a really young head coach. You's only thirty five
- 16:24Speaker 4: years older, turns thirty five on my las.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Couldn't imagine that.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Yeah he's so he's got a horse.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Yeah, happy belated by the way. I love the picture.
- 16:37Speaker 3: We were talking about that.
- 16:38Speaker 4: But yeah, no, they're they're they're pretty decent into I
- 16:42Speaker 4: think it'll be a fun challenge just for the Bides
- 16:44Speaker 4: to like go somewhere new play in a pretty hostile environment.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I was in the city for forecast, so yeah, let's
- 16:50Speaker 3: bring it on.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Do they do they embrace the song? Like is it
- 16:52Speaker 1: they're you know, at halftime or whatever? Do they play
- 16:55Speaker 1: in the stadium?
- 16:56Speaker 4: You know, that's a great question. I'm gonna be very curious.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I bet you that's a halftime or like a fourth
- 17:01Speaker 4: quarter song. Like right, I went to a Florida game
- 17:04Speaker 4: once they do it. Tom Patty's from played one back down.
- 17:07Speaker 4: It was very, very emotional.
- 17:09Speaker 1: So next Friday, we'll have to ask you because you'll
- 17:11Speaker 1: be there in the stadium.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I will report back, all have the facts.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and of course next week we'll be talking about homecoming.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Why does it feel early this year?
- 17:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it comes up on you quick. Yeah, homecoming against
- 17:23Speaker 4: Towson next weekend. So it's gonna be a big crowd,
- 17:25Speaker 4: I'm sure. Like last weekend was awesome. The new game
- 17:28Speaker 4: day traditions.
- 17:29Speaker 2: That was fun to watch, even though we could make
- 17:31Speaker 2: it out to tailgating, but just the videos alone, and
- 17:34Speaker 2: I heard that it was even just like for little
- 17:37Speaker 2: kids to go out there. They have bouncy house. I
- 17:38Speaker 2: mean it's for the whole family to be out there
- 17:40Speaker 2: and be a part of Bison Nation.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, the team walking through they're calling it
- 17:44Speaker 4: the Stampede March, which is cool.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Do they have a song that they come through is
- 17:48Speaker 1: it Thunderstruck?
- 17:49Speaker 4: It is Thunderstruck still for the entrance, and they did
- 17:52Speaker 4: a couple of tweaks with that. So no longer are
- 17:55Speaker 4: they running out of the big inflatable helmets tailgating.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so you can take with that. The kids can play.
- 18:01Speaker 3: It's kind of fun.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Cool.
- 18:02Speaker 4: But now they got a whole pyrotechnic show, some fire.
- 18:05Speaker 4: It looked really cool, it was sleek. I was in
- 18:07Speaker 4: favor of it.
- 18:08Speaker 1: The energy is top notch. So Sam, thank you so much.
- 18:11Speaker 1: We'll look forward to hearing from you about your time
- 18:13Speaker 1: in Johnsonville, Tennessee.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Johnson City, Johnson City.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Brats to Johnsonville.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Wham bam, Thank you Sam, And of course Skateway Chevrolet.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Thanks guys. Like in a minute in the morning on
- 18:31Speaker 3: a big nuddy eight points.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Let's say you accomplish something, you do something in life
- 18:36Speaker 1: that you feel good about, like, oh, I did a
- 18:38Speaker 1: good thing. Yeah, what is a way that you sort
- 18:40Speaker 1: of celebrate just with yourself, like not like a big
- 18:43Speaker 1: party or a big dinner, Like, just what's something you
- 18:45Speaker 1: do that kind of to reward yourself.
- 18:47Speaker 2: You know, honestly, a lot of my rewards do come
- 18:50Speaker 2: in some sort of food celebration or or drinking. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 2: or maybe depending on what it is, like if it
- 18:58Speaker 2: was a goal, like a weight loss goal or something,
- 19:00Speaker 2: it'd be like getting a new workout outfit. It really
- 19:02Speaker 2: kind of depends on what it may be. Maybe getting
- 19:04Speaker 2: a new pair of jeens.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Well, there's apparently a trend among women who are now
- 19:09Speaker 1: celebrating themselves with quote success showers. So give you something, well,
- 19:14Speaker 1: grins off, real good. Well, you get all that success
- 19:17Speaker 1: on you, you got to wash it off somehow so
- 19:19Speaker 1: you can start from scratch again.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm we're talking like a full on, like a
- 19:23Speaker 2: bridal shower kind of situation.
- 19:25Speaker 1: But it's hey, look at me, I'm so great. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 1: it's exactly right. So it's a party similar to a
- 19:31Speaker 1: bridle shower or a baby shower, but it celebrates the
- 19:33Speaker 1: personal success. Okay, what you would fallsh in line for
- 19:37Speaker 1: something like that, because I'm trying not to be judging here.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I mean, you do you If you want to celebrate
- 19:42Speaker 1: what you're doing, great, more power to you. But I'm
- 19:45Speaker 1: just trying to think of what kind of milestone that
- 19:47Speaker 1: would be for me to invite people. Maybe if I
- 19:51Speaker 1: created a new business venture or even then. I know,
- 19:55Speaker 1: just think about the older you get, Like I've stopped
- 19:58Speaker 1: inviting people to birthday I don't have birthday parties, and
- 20:01Speaker 1: that would be a totally normal thing to do. If
- 20:03Speaker 1: I got invited to somebody's birthday, yeah, I guess I'll
- 20:05Speaker 1: show up.
- 20:06Speaker 2: My two best friends are turning forty this weekend, sure,
- 20:08Speaker 2: and it is like, just like not even really sure
- 20:11Speaker 2: what's going on yet because it's you're turning forty. They
- 20:13Speaker 2: neither of them wanted a big birthday bash or anything yet.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I'm like, I want to do something for you, guys,
- 20:19Speaker 2: But that is a moment where you should.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Have a book party. Forty it's a nice round number,
- 20:23Speaker 1: so there's a reason to celebrate. Of course, Yes, but
- 20:25Speaker 1: if I was getting invited to a thirty seventh birthday,
- 20:29Speaker 1: do that with your family? What do you? Don't bother me? No,
- 20:32Speaker 1: but just think about that. Imagine getting a text that said, hey,
- 20:34Speaker 1: like I just got a promotion at work, We're all
- 20:37Speaker 1: going out Like that would be weird. It would almost
- 20:39Speaker 1: be braggy.
- 20:40Speaker 2: And again, it would totally depend on how close you
- 20:43Speaker 2: were with somebody and if they were a part of
- 20:46Speaker 2: that celebration or they maybe knew and supported you to
- 20:49Speaker 2: that point in your journey.
- 20:50Speaker 1: But just like everybody else, it feels a little break adotia. Yeah,
- 20:55Speaker 1: they're not even aware that you were trying to get
- 20:57Speaker 1: a promotion or a different job, like okay, what I
- 21:00Speaker 1: and even know what you did in the first place.
- 21:02Speaker 2: But it's also such a the older you get. Everything
- 21:04Speaker 2: you do is with your husband, wife or family, like that's.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yes, the way you want to keep that to your
- 21:10Speaker 1: inner unit.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Your success showers usually keep with your husband and wife.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I got excited when I read it because I thought
- 21:17Speaker 1: it literally meant getting in a hot shower. It's a
- 21:20Speaker 1: new bubble bath or something. No shower, Oh yeah, standard
- 21:24Speaker 1: standing up, standing up, letting that water poured down. I
- 21:27Speaker 1: hope you have a nice successful shower today. I hope
- 21:30Speaker 1: too late. I'm already in. I'm already in one shower,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and I'll say it wasn't that successful depending on what
- 21:38Speaker 1: the goal was.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Okay, like it a minute in the morning, get up on.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Big Are you ready? I'm ready? Are you though? That's
- 21:47Speaker 1: the question? Oh boy, you know I am. It's time
- 21:50Speaker 1: Friday means one thing on this show, a hypothetical situation game.
- 21:55Speaker 1: It's called what do you Do? We're going to pass
- 21:57Speaker 1: back and forth some hypothetical scenarios that are brutal, brutal,
- 22:00Speaker 1: not real. So don't worry, kids, All right, here we go.
- 22:03Speaker 2: So, Pike, you're just scrolling on Instagram. Okay, nice, just
- 22:07Speaker 2: doing your thing. But you have no idea that a
- 22:10Speaker 2: genie took over your feed. It's pretty wild because he
- 22:14Speaker 2: tells you the last video you watched on Instagram, Poof,
- 22:19Speaker 2: I'm taking you there.
- 22:21Speaker 1: You're going to that place. So have I been in
- 22:25Speaker 1: with I've been here with you. So I know the
- 22:26Speaker 1: last video you watched, and that was the Britney Spears video.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, So now Poof, you get to be with
- 22:33Speaker 2: Britney Spears for twenty four hours.
- 22:35Speaker 1: If you missed it. This crazy, I don't even want
- 22:38Speaker 1: to say crazy. It's just Brittany doing a whole minute
- 22:41Speaker 1: of Britney.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Making some really like fun noises like yeah yeah yeah,
- 22:45Speaker 2: like wild stuff.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Really wild.
- 22:47Speaker 2: So twenty four hours, you're now in the home of
- 22:51Speaker 2: Britney Spears.
- 22:52Speaker 1: So Pike, okay, think about it. What do you do?
- 23:02Speaker 1: You and brit Well, I suppose I'd start by joining
- 23:05Speaker 1: in on the making weird sounds of your mouth. You
- 23:08Speaker 1: would oh yeah, I'd immediately start going wow or I
- 23:11Speaker 1: like doing this okay, got it, got it, And she'd
- 23:15Speaker 1: probably be like, how do you do that? And I'd
- 23:17Speaker 1: show her and then we'd probably take turns going well,
- 23:21Speaker 1: can you do this with your mouth? Nice's nice? Okay,
- 23:27Speaker 1: and then she'd probably be like, yeah, but can you
- 23:28Speaker 1: do this? And she'd be able to whistle with her
- 23:30Speaker 1: fingers you know. Okay, So this is probably about ten minutes.
- 23:32Speaker 1: What are you doing for the other twenty three hours
- 23:35Speaker 1: and fifty hmm? I mean you got Are you gonna?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Are you gonna be a part of the dancing vanilla?
- 23:43Speaker 1: I would do? I would for sure if I was
- 23:44Speaker 1: gonna do that, I'd want to get on her feed,
- 23:46Speaker 1: So yeah, I would do some dancing videos. Would you
- 23:49Speaker 1: talk to her about anything like choices she's making or well? Yeah,
- 23:53Speaker 1: they'd be half the day as me just sitting her
- 23:55Speaker 1: down and going what's going on? Have a little intervention? Yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 1: but I'll so just as a music fan and pop
- 24:01Speaker 1: culture fan, I would have a million questions. Yeah, So
- 24:04Speaker 1: I would just we would chat and then we would
- 24:05Speaker 1: do the mouth thing, probably to wrap the day up
- 24:08Speaker 1: once again.
- 24:08Speaker 2: All right, Amanda, good question. Oh jeez, real quick. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 2: good morning to Yolanda. She says, happy fry yay.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So I feel same. All right, Amanda. You're walking down
- 24:21Speaker 1: the street the interstate. You're walking on the side of
- 24:25Speaker 1: the interstate. Oh gosh, no for a walk. No, when
- 24:28Speaker 1: something gives me the creeps. You're walking and you feel
- 24:32Speaker 1: behind you a car slowing. You know, somebody's pulling up
- 24:35Speaker 1: behind you. You turn around. It's like an old Chevy,
- 24:40Speaker 1: really old Chevy, and they pull up. Man gets out
- 24:44Speaker 1: of the truck, starts quickly walking toward you, and you're
- 24:48Speaker 1: you're freaking out. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, poof,
- 24:52Speaker 1: man turns into a Genie. Gosh, I'm so glad. Yeah,
- 24:57Speaker 1: you didn't just take me. Well, we'll see. Genie comes
- 25:00Speaker 1: up to you and you're like, oh my god, thank god,
- 25:02Speaker 1: you're a genie. I thought there was a guy doing
- 25:04Speaker 1: who knows what. So Genie says, no, no, a Manda,
- 25:07Speaker 1: don't worry, it's just me, the Genie. I've got a
- 25:09Speaker 1: proposition for you. You gotta choose one of these two situations.
- 25:13Speaker 1: First one, Amanda, you know this crazy like smoke. We've
- 25:16Speaker 1: been dealing with this wildfire smoke, brutal you. Option one
- 25:21Speaker 1: for the rest of your life. That smoke is a
- 25:24Speaker 1: daily occurrence, but only for you. So only in your
- 25:28Speaker 1: world is it smoky, and it's one of those really
- 25:30Speaker 1: bad days, like I think it was Tuesday where you
- 25:32Speaker 1: could literally smell it in your car. Yeah, you could
- 25:34Speaker 1: taste it while driving. So that's every day for the
- 25:37Speaker 1: rest of your life. Nobody else has it though. Option two,
- 25:40Speaker 1: and this one goes for everybody. Every door handle you
- 25:45Speaker 1: encounter at your home in public is covered in some weird.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Jelly so many sticky jelly or like vasiline jelly.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Sticky sticky sticky. Because there's a difference, is there. What
- 26:07Speaker 1: do you do?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yes, Because like if it's like a petroleum jelly sticky,
- 26:12Speaker 2: it's like, oh, you can just like wipe that off
- 26:14Speaker 2: and be gross. But if it's like jelly sticky sticky,
- 26:17Speaker 2: sometimes you can't get that off your hands.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, But the kind of the point of this one
- 26:21Speaker 1: was like this affects everybody worldwide, so like every door Yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 1: every door handle is nasty. Especially imagine if you have
- 26:29Speaker 1: to like take a stop on a road trip and
- 26:31Speaker 1: you go into the gas station and the door handles
- 26:34Speaker 1: is covered in jelly. Yeah, that's gross and everybody every everyone,
- 26:40Speaker 1: But then again, we'd probably get used to it like
- 26:42Speaker 1: anything else. Well that's what I was kind of thinking,
- 26:44Speaker 1: because I don't know if I could get used to
- 26:46Speaker 1: the wildfires. That smell was so bad and I but
- 26:49Speaker 1: I think I would die, wouldn't you like the low
- 26:52Speaker 1: air quality? Wouldn't my life just when I only like,
- 26:55Speaker 1: would probably cut off twenty years of my life because
- 26:57Speaker 1: of that study.
- 27:00Speaker 2: These are inconclusive. I think I'm going jelly. I apologize
- 27:04Speaker 2: to everybody. Brutal, Yeah, I'm selfish.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You think we would adapt, We think we would adapt
- 27:11Speaker 1: as a society, Like we'd all just now start carrying
- 27:14Speaker 1: around like towels and everybody knows that as soon as
- 27:17Speaker 1: you open the door, you have to wipe off the
- 27:18Speaker 1: handle that.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Or do we live in a world where you are
- 27:21Speaker 2: always wearing gloves like those nets, like if you're serving,
- 27:24Speaker 2: like serving gloves, yeah, and then you just whip them
- 27:27Speaker 2: off all the.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Time, just constantly changing out latex gloves. Those are are
- 27:33Speaker 1: awful and your hands get so sweaty.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Remember I remember, like during the early pandemic, I was
- 27:41Speaker 1: working at a golf course and like you were supposed
- 27:43Speaker 1: to be wearing rubber gloves. No way, Yeah, everyone was
- 27:46Speaker 1: supposed to be wearing the latex rubber gloves and what reason,
- 27:50Speaker 1: Like when you were handling golf gloves just for germs sake,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and I think we all just collectively said, Okay, if
- 27:56Speaker 1: we die, we die because I am not wearing these
- 27:58Speaker 1: rubber gloves.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Also just els like they're carrying more germs kind of
- 28:03Speaker 2: like with the mask situation. I mean not to get
- 28:05Speaker 2: all into it, but it was like how many people
- 28:07Speaker 2: are washing those Like how many times did you wash
- 28:09Speaker 2: your mask?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Not a once? And your hands inside these gloves are
- 28:13Speaker 1: getting all sweaty and like powdery.
- 28:16Speaker 3: This horrible.
- 28:17Speaker 2: There's no way to Well, that's the life we're gonna
- 28:19Speaker 2: have to live. I apologize, folks, but that's what we're doing.
