- 0:26Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have a dear
- 0:34Speaker 1: friend of mine, but you know him. He has not
- 0:37Speaker 1: been on the show yet because I was hoping that
- 0:40Speaker 1: he'd come to my house and cook for me first,
- 0:42Speaker 1: but I finally decided he's just funny enough to just
- 0:45Speaker 1: be himself on my show. It is Chef Stu, Stuart O'Keefe.
- 0:51Speaker 1: You said the Irish way of pronouncing it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I was like, look, she was trying to figure out
- 0:55Speaker 2: what you wanted to call me. I was like, just
- 0:56Speaker 2: call me by my Irish translation of it. So Stuart O'Keefe.
- 1:00Speaker 2: So disgusting.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yes. That cute Irish accent is not fake. You are
- 1:06Speaker 1: not pulling a Hilaria. You are actually from Ireland. I
- 1:11Speaker 1: am 98% Irish, but I am not from Ireland.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Born and raised.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Born and raised. Came out here. Um, very, I, I
- 1:22Speaker 1: love your Irish accent. I love that we have the
- 1:24Speaker 1: Irishness about us. And, uh, You know, what's really funny
- 1:29Speaker 1: is someone, someone like pulled up some bio of me
- 1:31Speaker 1: and they're like, I didn't realize that Heather had Canadian roots.
- 1:35Speaker 1: And it's because, well, this is the thing. This is
- 1:37Speaker 1: the juicy story. So my mom, my dad was a
- 1:40Speaker 1: hundred percent Irish. His dad was a hundred percent Irish
- 1:43Speaker 1: and lived here. And the mom came over when she
- 1:45Speaker 1: was 29 off the boat, changed her age to 19,
- 1:49Speaker 1: met my dad's dad. It was a 19 year old firefighter.
- 1:53Speaker 1: It's like the original Cougar story.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Wait, she changed her age?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, when she got off in Ellis Islands, they were
- 1:58Speaker 1: just like, how old are you? And she just wrote,
- 2:00Speaker 1: she was like, fuck, I'm not saying I'm 29.
- 2:02Speaker 2: So then she's like denaturalizing America with her new age.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah, she said 19. I mean, 29 to not be
- 2:08Speaker 1: married in like 1920 whatever is really old, okay? So
- 2:13Speaker 1: then she met him. They lived their life. He's the
- 2:15Speaker 1: fire chief in Long Beach, Long Island, New York. She
- 2:20Speaker 1: has two kids and then a huge break and has
- 2:22Speaker 1: my dad and his sister, which we realized not until
- 2:27Speaker 1: after she died that she was 10 years older. Nobody knew.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Nobody knew.
- 2:31Speaker 1: They were like, yeah, she died at 88. And they're like, no,
- 2:33Speaker 1: she was actually 98. It also meant she had some
- 2:36Speaker 1: really old-ass Irish eggs that still worked. So she basically
- 2:41Speaker 1: gave birth in her mid-40s to my dad and his
- 2:45Speaker 1: sister because they were like a second chunk of kids
- 2:47Speaker 1: but from the same dad. And so anyway, my mom
- 2:51Speaker 1: then met my dad and her mom and everybody, their
- 2:55Speaker 1: name was Lassard or something. And she said, my mom
- 2:59Speaker 1: was French Canadian. So I, she's like, I'm half Irish
- 3:03Speaker 1: and I'm half French Canadian. The French came over and
- 3:05Speaker 1: like lived in Canada and whatever, and then came to America.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And so my whole life I'm like, oh, I'm one
- 3:10Speaker 1: quarter French Canadian. My mom made us take French and
- 3:13Speaker 1: she was like a real snot about it, whatever. So
- 3:16Speaker 1: then I go do some YouTube thing with Ross Matthews
- 3:20Speaker 1: of like, I don't know, five years.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Ago to do the DNA thing.
- 3:23Speaker 3: The DNA thing.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, I'm 75% Irish, French Canadian.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And they're like, no, you're 98% Irish.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And then I was like, wait, hold on. First of all,
- 3:37Speaker 1: no one fucked anyone else interesting along the way. That's shocking.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Secondly, I'm like, wait, did someone like, cheat on my
- 3:47Speaker 1: mom's side, whatever. And then when I talked about it,
- 3:50Speaker 1: somebody wrote or told me, they go, you know, the Irish,
- 3:54Speaker 1: a lot of Irish settled in Canada.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And, and I guess the, they were sort of looked
- 3:59Speaker 1: down upon. So some of them just said they were
- 4:02Speaker 1: French instead, I guess.
- 4:04Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Cause it was the same.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I heard it was the same in America as well,
- 4:09Speaker 2: where a lot of like Irish, like they weren't wanted
- 4:12Speaker 2: when we came over. It was like Irish need not
- 4:14Speaker 2: apply to these jobs and all that stuff.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And, apparently a lot of the Irish people lost the
- 4:21Speaker 2: O in their names.
- 4:22Speaker 3: So like O'Keefe, so it would just be Stuart Keefe.
- 4:24Speaker 1: No, and then it's crazy, this friend of mine in college,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I forgot her last name, but it was O something.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And I go, oh, are you Irish? She said, no,
- 4:33Speaker 1: because when her Italian relatives came over, the Italians were
- 4:36Speaker 1: looked as like, ugh. So they would add an O
- 4:39Speaker 1: to their name because it was better to be Irish.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Than Italian.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yes. Welcome to the International Podcast.

- 5:04Speaker 5: your next luxury escape.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Okay, first we got to talk about the hot topic,
- 5:10Speaker 1: which is the divorce of Denise Richards to her husband, Aaron.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, they have their own e-show,
- 5:18Speaker 1: it broke just two days ago, and he filed on Monday,
- 5:25Speaker 1: filed on Monday, said the date of separation was July 4th.
- 5:30Speaker 3: What happened?
- 5:31Speaker 1: So I didn't watch that much of the e-show.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 5:34Speaker 1: But apparently they were, the house that we saw them
- 5:39Speaker 1: living in before, Unreal House was Beverly Hills.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 1: His family lives there. She and he got like three
- 5:45Speaker 1: condos that they're renting.
- 5:46Speaker 2: They live in one.
- 5:48Speaker 1: They work in one and have some dogs living in one.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And then like one of the daughters lives in the other.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It's so weird. And yeah, she has all these dogs
- 5:56Speaker 1: and everything. And he filed for divorce. It's been six years.
- 6:01Speaker 1: He never did adopt her child. So she has two
- 6:04Speaker 1: daughters with Charlie Sheen and adopted this child at birth. Eloise,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I think is her name. And the Eloise, she... realized
- 6:13Speaker 1: when the child grew up that she had some challenges.
- 6:17Speaker 1: He's been very lovely to her daughters, but I don't
- 6:20Speaker 1: think he ever officially adopted her. So I believe she
- 6:22Speaker 1: has that child as a single woman. He then in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the thing is asking for spousal support. He says, I
- 6:28Speaker 1: have no income. Remember he had that weird.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Like medical thing, like energy healing.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And she went to go see him. And she always
- 6:38Speaker 1: talks about how she's like, And then I saw his penis.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Like I fell in love with his penis and they
- 6:43Speaker 1: had sex the first time he had an appointment. What
- 6:45Speaker 1: people don't know is I think there might've been a
- 6:48Speaker 1: slight overlap. He was married to Nicolette Sheridan. Sheridan?
- 6:52Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
- 6:53Speaker 1: From Desperate Housewives.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Really?
- 6:55Speaker 1: And then started dating Denise. But I'm not saying anything,
- 6:58Speaker 1: but I'm saying there might've been an overlap or an
- 7:00Speaker 1: appointment or something. Sure. He gets divorced from Nicolette Sheridan. Okay.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Gets with Denise. They get married on Real Housewives of
- 7:06Speaker 1: Beverly Hills. There were some moments on Real Housewives of
- 7:09Speaker 1: Beverly Hills where he would refer to things. People are
- 7:12Speaker 1: following us and we know about frequency or something. It
- 7:16Speaker 1: seemed strange. And he had very the place was on PCH.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So I'm assuming very expensive rent. He doesn't have that
- 7:22Speaker 1: business anymore. He is saying he has no income. And
- 7:28Speaker 1: so he's asking for quite a bit of spousal support
- 7:30Speaker 1: because he says she makes. $ 250, 000 a month between OnlyFans,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I guess being on her e-show, and sponsorships. Now, we
- 7:42Speaker 1: had heard when she was making, we heard she was
- 7:44Speaker 1: making $ 2 million a month on OnlyFans. I believe it's
- 7:48Speaker 1: more like 250. I believe that maybe the first month
- 7:51Speaker 1: you do, and.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Then once that guy has.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Seen you, they go to the next thing. You know
- 7:56Speaker 1: what I mean? Like you're not married to your OnlyFans person.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You're not like, oh, I can only subscribe to Denise
- 8:00Speaker 1: Richards for the next 30 years. Like that's the problem
- 8:02Speaker 1: with OnlyFans.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Unless you're obsessed with her, you stay. You got to
- 8:05Speaker 2: make it.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You got to save your money and move along. So
- 8:08Speaker 1: he says of that, like they spent $ 20, 000 on clothing, $ 15, 000
- 8:13Speaker 1: on going out, all these expenses per month that he needs.
- 8:17Speaker 1: to live accustomed to his life. So some people were shocked.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I was not that shocked.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Um, it was like a dirty John type thing with him.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I mean, I just think marriage is hard and six
- 8:30Speaker 1: years is six years. And I don't really, I think
- 8:32Speaker 1: it was probably like mostly sexual attraction and all that. Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And it's a lot to handle and he, whatever. I mean,
- 8:38Speaker 1: he's both married before she was married before.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I don't think interesting.
- 8:41Speaker 3: He did it.
- 8:42Speaker 1: It is interesting. Now there are some thoughts where people
- 8:45Speaker 1: are thinking, um, that there was rumors or something that
- 8:50Speaker 1: he had some issues, something with that business, that by
- 8:55Speaker 1: divorcing her, maybe that'll separate the assets and whoever's coming
- 9:00Speaker 1: after his business then can't come after her. So maybe
- 9:02Speaker 1: this isn't a real divorce. I never really believe that
- 9:07Speaker 1: that's the case. I've never known of a case that's actually,
- 9:09Speaker 1: people thought that with Tom and Erica and all that.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That's never, oh, by the way, Erica, Girardi has a
- 9:16Speaker 1: new boyfriend. He's like a former special ops guy.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Like a Shrek something.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And he goes by Shrek, but he doesn't look like Shrek,
- 9:24Speaker 1: thank God. And good for her. She's going back to
- 9:28Speaker 1: her roots. Her first husband was a cop. I think
- 9:30Speaker 1: she just likes a normal guy.
- 9:31Speaker 2: He's her age.
- 9:32Speaker 1: They look casual and cute together. Good for her. Anyway,
- 9:35Speaker 1: getting back to this. So I don't believe that anyone
- 9:40Speaker 1: really does that and makes a big... I don't think you'd...
- 9:43Speaker 1: If it was a fake divorce, you wouldn't make yourself
- 9:46Speaker 1: look like a dick. If you were doing a fake
- 9:48Speaker 1: divorce to save your wife's assets, you wouldn't spell out
- 9:53Speaker 1: how much money everyone's making and how much you want.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Here's the thing, but maybe that makes it more real.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I don't think it's fake.
- 10:00Speaker 2: But they just shot the show. Was he a total
- 10:02Speaker 2: dick on the show or were they fighting all the
- 10:04Speaker 2: time on the show? I don't even know.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I don't think he probably loved being on the show.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It was work. He probably doesn't want to work. He
- 10:09Speaker 1: probably just wants to collect $ 100, 000 a month for the
- 10:12Speaker 1: next three years. Because if you're married for six years
- 10:16Speaker 1: in California, you get half.
- 10:18Speaker 2: It's six years the number.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Six years.
- 10:20Speaker 2: No, no.
- 10:21Speaker 1: No, you would get half, meaning three years of support.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So he's entitled to three years of support. Now she
- 10:27Speaker 1: could quit OnlyFans and it could go down to $ 20, 000
- 10:30Speaker 1: a month.
- 10:30Speaker 2: She's not going to quit that.
- 10:31Speaker 1: But, you know, same thing happened when she divorced Charlie Sheen.
- 10:35Speaker 1: She was getting like $ 50, 000 a month. And I remember
- 10:39Speaker 1: she got 55,000 a month. I remember she got, and
- 10:42Speaker 1: I remember thinking, and that wasn't who he's at the
- 10:45Speaker 1: height of, uh, two and a half men. Yeah. But
- 10:47Speaker 1: then he got all crazy with the tiger blood and
- 10:50Speaker 1: lost that show and whatever. And then, so she wasn't
- 10:53Speaker 1: getting that money anymore. She doesn't get any money from him.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Obviously the kids are grown, but so then she didn't
- 10:58Speaker 1: met now is doing these only fan things, make finally
- 11:01Speaker 1: making money. And now she's going to have to give
- 11:03Speaker 1: him millions because they were together for three years.
- 11:07Speaker 2: That just sucks.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It really does.
- 11:09Speaker 3: It does.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Hopefully there's some Casamigos Reposado around the corner for her. Oh, God.
- 11:18Speaker 2: What does she do? Do you, like, just really just
- 11:21Speaker 2: kind of off topic, but, like, I never actually. What
- 11:23Speaker 2: does she do in that? Like, does she, like, touch
- 11:25Speaker 2: herself and stuff?
- 11:26Speaker 1: I think people get people to write back to everybody
- 11:31Speaker 1: for you. You don't do that yourself.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And these dumb guys believe it.
- 11:35Speaker 2: They don't care.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So in doing that, that's how you make the real money,
- 11:38Speaker 1: getting tips, getting them to talk to you more.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Got it.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Show me a photo of your feet, whatever. And then
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think they have a day or two of content
- 11:44Speaker 1: where they do funny, you know, not funny. They do
- 11:47Speaker 1: sexy videos, lingerie, different outfits, this and that. But I
- 11:52Speaker 1: did hear she does nudity. Like you can see her
- 11:55Speaker 1: in the shower, like showering.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You know, she's very pretty and sexy. And like, so
- 12:02Speaker 1: I just think, my God, like you have to go
- 12:04Speaker 1: do OnlyFans and now you have to give it to
- 12:06Speaker 1: your second husband. who is an energy healer who nobody.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Wants healing from.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It's just like such a fucking bummer. All right. Well,
- 12:16Speaker 1: I love you. You're so funny. You are an incredible chef.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I love watching your videos. And, um, here's a gorgeous
- 12:22Speaker 1: photo of you being a sexy chef.
- 12:25Speaker 2: LA magazine.
- 12:26Speaker 3: LA magazine.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Look at you.
- 12:28Speaker 1: We had fun. We went to that LA magazine party
- 12:30Speaker 1: together and for, with Paris Hilton. And so very fun.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I love that you are a chef. I, I love
- 12:37Speaker 1: watching cooking videos. I love watching yours. But the thing is,
- 12:41Speaker 1: is that it's like I always want to do it.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But then I never when I'm at the grocery store,
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't do the whole thing.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I need to have all the ingredients. I don't I'm
- 12:51Speaker 1: always impressed like how you chop. And then I've never
- 12:56Speaker 1: like made a dip or a soup or anything like
- 12:58Speaker 1: in a Cuisinart or whatever. I've never done that. There's
- 13:02Speaker 1: so many things I want to do.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So you're going to have to come over. I promise
- 13:05Speaker 2: you I'll come over to the house.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah. We'll do it in Palm Springs or we'll do
- 13:07Speaker 3: it here or wherever.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And the summer dips and that it is protein. So
- 13:12Speaker 1: make sure you follow him. And you're also a private chef.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 1: And I'm curious because sometimes I watch these videos of like, hi,
- 13:21Speaker 1: follow me being a private chef. In the Hamptons.
- 13:24Speaker 2: People ask me that all the time. They're like, why
- 13:25Speaker 2: don't you do these videos? I'm like, I'd rather like
- 13:27Speaker 2: slip my wrist.
- 13:28Speaker 1: How do you, first of all, how do they have time?
- 13:29Speaker 1: And if I was paying you, I'd be a little
- 13:31Speaker 1: annoyed because I'd be like, wait a minute, you're like
- 13:33Speaker 1: propping it and doing this and that. Like, already your
- 13:36Speaker 1: day must be quite busy.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like, I mean, it is, but, like, I mean,
- 13:41Speaker 2: it is, like, I'm good at it now, so it's like,
- 13:43Speaker 2: I can knock it out, like, quick. You can do
- 13:44Speaker 2: the videos for yourself, yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 3: It's basically like 3 o'clock to, like, 7, 7.30.
- 13:47Speaker 2: It's kind of like, you know, Monday to Thursday. This
- 13:51Speaker 2: particular client is what I work for now.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Oh, and you make their thing. And so... Do you
- 13:55Speaker 1: go over the menu every week?
- 13:57Speaker 3: These people are cool that I work for.
- 13:59Speaker 1: They're like, we know what we like. And you just
- 14:01Speaker 1: kind of like mix it up so it's not too.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Healthy, protein, vegetables. Now, I've had other clients in the
- 14:07Speaker 2: past where it's like, give us the menu per week.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I had one like in Beverly Hills, like, you know,
- 14:11Speaker 2: a temporary one for like, you know, two or three months.
- 14:15Speaker 2: She wanted the menu at the beginning of the week,
- 14:17Speaker 2: which actually made it easier for me.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yeah, because it forced you to be like.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Well, it's just like I know exactly what I'm doing
- 14:22Speaker 2: and I'm like, you know, it's planned out and so forth.
- 14:24Speaker 2: But like these people I work for now, like they're
- 14:26Speaker 2: just cool. They like different stuff. They don't mind me
- 14:28Speaker 2: trying out things. And like that's the kind of like
- 14:30Speaker 2: the ultimate goal, like to get a client like that.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Okay, I have a question, a weird question. And maybe
- 14:34Speaker 1: you can't answer because I'm putting you on the spot.
- 14:35Speaker 1: But like for someone who's not going to get a
- 14:38Speaker 1: private chef.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 1: But they watch all these housewife shows and they kind
- 14:42Speaker 1: of want to have like that dinner party, multiple course experience. Sure.
- 14:47Speaker 1: What would you tell someone never to do and what
- 14:51Speaker 1: could they do and like pull it off? Like what
- 14:53Speaker 1: is a huge mistake where someone like, You can't manage
- 14:57Speaker 1: it all.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Okay, so if you want a dinner party, we'll say
- 15:00Speaker 2: for 12 people at your house, right?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:02Speaker 3: So we'll say you'll do the decor for the table
- 15:04Speaker 3: and all that stuff. So now you're like, okay, food.
- 15:06Speaker 6: That's done.
- 15:07Speaker 2: So you're saying to go about hiring somebody or are
- 15:10Speaker 2: you doing it yourself?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Let's say you're going to try to do it yourself
- 15:13Speaker 1: and you're a decent cook, but you want it to
- 15:16Speaker 1: come out at the right time and not one thing
- 15:19Speaker 1: complement another. What's a simple menu that someone could maybe
- 15:22Speaker 1: pull off?
- 15:22Speaker 3: Okay, what I would do is.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Like family style. So big platters down in the middle
- 15:28Speaker 2: of the table all the way through, right? Okay.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Like do a ton of salads.
- 15:32Speaker 1: All right.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Like just do like cold food salads, lots of stuff.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Just go follow or go find recipes that you can
- 15:40Speaker 2: pretty much prep the day before.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:43Speaker 2: So it can be sitting in your fridge, it's ready
- 15:44Speaker 2: to go and then you're just assembling at the very end.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Find other recipes that you can just assemble that don't
- 15:49Speaker 2: need any cooking.
- 15:50Speaker 3: There's lots of those out there.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Then... really then you're just kind of focused on, we'll
- 15:57Speaker 2: say the protein. So just say, you know, you have
- 16:00Speaker 2: the husband, okay, you're going to be, you know, fucking
- 16:03Speaker 2: cooking that steak on the grill. I have the salmon.
- 16:05Speaker 2: We'll get like two or three sides of salmon, which
- 16:07Speaker 2: is like, you know, the whole salmon basically. Make like
- 16:10Speaker 2: a pesto butter or something like that, a pistachio butter.
- 16:13Speaker 1: To kind of fancy it up.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Yeah, just like drizzle or like just spread it all
- 16:16Speaker 2: on top. That can go in the fridge the night before.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Take it out about 20 minutes before you want to
- 16:20Speaker 2: put it in the oven. That just goes into the
- 16:22Speaker 2: oven for about 20 minutes. It's done. Transfer it to
- 16:25Speaker 2: a white platter, basil leaves, whatever.
- 16:28Speaker 3: That's it. It's easy.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Just keep it like cold stuff, especially in the summertime.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 16:33Speaker 2: You can do the cold stuff. Like wintertime, you just
- 16:36Speaker 2: do like.
- 16:37Speaker 3: You could do short ribs.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Like you could do those the day before and you
- 16:40Speaker 2: can reheat them the next day. You make mashed potatoes.
- 16:43Speaker 3: You do glazed carrots. Like there's ways.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 3: You know, you do a soup.
- 16:47Speaker 2: As a starter.
- 16:48Speaker 3: So you'd make that the day before you just heat
- 16:49Speaker 3: that up.
- 16:50Speaker 2: So just be smart about it and just think as
- 16:52Speaker 2: much as you can do before desserts, that's easy.
- 16:55Speaker 3: You can just go buy a cake. You can.
- 16:57Speaker 1: What about caters that, uh, that go to Costco and
- 17:02Speaker 1: then like jazz up the chocolate bundt cake with a
- 17:04Speaker 1: few raspberries. I mean, they're out there and they can
- 17:07Speaker 1: get away with it.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 2: If you're creative with stuff like that, no, I've never
- 17:12Speaker 2: done it like, I used to cater so much like over,
- 17:15Speaker 2: like I've been doing it like 19, 20 years now.
- 17:18Speaker 2: And I mean, I've catered like parties on Beverly Hills
- 17:22Speaker 2: on Rodeo out of my little apartment, like for 200 people.
- 17:26Speaker 2: And it's just prepping everything in containers. I'm borrowing my
- 17:30Speaker 2: friend's fridge, like I need to put shit in your thing,
- 17:32Speaker 2: and then we come grab it in my Volkswagen Jetta,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and we go over there, and they're like, oh, you're
- 17:37Speaker 2: at this.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Big catering company.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, like, you know. And you just, you
- 17:41Speaker 2: work it out. And so many people do that across LA.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I don't, like, I do catering and stuff like that,
- 17:45Speaker 2: but I like.
- 17:46Speaker 3: More the dinner parties now. The 10, 20, like, person
- 17:49Speaker 3: dinner party.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Well, I love it. And let's, wait, let's get into
- 17:52Speaker 1: some juice. So you had a fun weekend in P-Town.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Jesus Christ, that photograph.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Which is a very conservative, heterosexual town in the summer.
- 17:59Speaker 3: No, just kidding.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's very gay and it's very fun. It's a utopia
- 18:02Speaker 1: for gay men.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what Jason, my friend Jason always says.
- 18:05Speaker 1: And Sonia.
- 18:05Speaker 2: And Sonia.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And Sonia was there. Tell me about your time with Sonia.
- 18:09Speaker 1: She is a good frickin' time.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Am I in it with Derek, your friend, right?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yes.
- 18:13Speaker 2: And, um, it's last minute, we're at your Juicy Scoop
- 18:17Speaker 2: 10-year anniversary party. He's like, hey, we're going to Provincetown
- 18:19Speaker 2: next year. We have a place, do you want to come?
- 18:21Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, I don't know, I have to
- 18:22Speaker 2: work and stuff. And then, you know, my boss is
- 18:24Speaker 2: out of town. I'm like, fuck it, I'll just go.
- 18:26Speaker 2: So I go, Derek knows Sonya. She's texting.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Sonia Rita? Sonia or Sonia?
- 18:32Speaker 2: Sonia. Sonia Rita?
- 18:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Sonia Rita.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Sonia.
- 18:35Speaker 2: And so she's calling him like, I need makeup. I
- 18:39Speaker 2: need hair and stuff like that, whatever. And so, oh,
- 18:41Speaker 2: when you get in tomorrow, then she calls him.
- 18:44Speaker 3: And then Derek's like, she's at the bar. We're going over.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I'm like, okay. So we go over.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I've never met her. I've met like a ton of
- 18:50Speaker 2: the Housewives because I wrote that cookbook, you know, the
- 18:52Speaker 2: Housewives cookbook. And so she has two recipes in that cookbook.
- 18:56Speaker 2: So I wanted to tell her about them. Then we
- 18:58Speaker 2: started chatting. She's really nice.
- 19:00Speaker 1: She's so nice.
- 19:01Speaker 3: She is nice.
- 19:01Speaker 2: And she's a good time. She's having fun. She's sitting
- 19:03Speaker 2: at the bar waiting for us. And then there's some
- 19:05Speaker 2: woman singing. And then she gets up. The woman comes
- 19:08Speaker 2: over to her. She's like, can you sing this song
- 19:09Speaker 2: with me? And she's like, yeah. Like, whatever.
- 19:11Speaker 3: So then she gets up. She's singing.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Like, Derek's friend Alex is there. He starts slow dancing
- 19:16Speaker 2: with her. It's like, it's insane. And it's just like,
- 19:20Speaker 2: it's just a barrel laugh. Then she's like, let's get
- 19:22Speaker 2: a photo. And I'm like, okay. And Derek grabs the
- 19:24Speaker 2: camera and she's like, let's like, you know, go by
- 19:26Speaker 2: the stairs and like, like you're taking me up.
- 19:28Speaker 3: And I'm like, okay, that's kind of fucking weird. But
- 19:30Speaker 3: I'm like, that's how it happened.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I'm like, this is, I was like, oh, and then
- 19:36Speaker 2: Derek like did the whole thing and the collab and
- 19:37Speaker 2: posted it. And I was like, well, let's, I said,
- 19:39Speaker 2: I think it'd be more fun if I'm just like
- 19:41Speaker 2: lifting you up or you know what I mean?
- 19:42Speaker 1: It was so funny Cause a couple, like a week ago,
- 19:45Speaker 1: like in my stories, I'm tagged. Like, you know, when
- 19:49Speaker 1: you see your tag, you can post too. And it's, Sonia,
- 19:53Speaker 1: my friend, Jorge Perez, you know, and her, and we're
- 19:57Speaker 1: at like Josh Flagg's summer party when he was married
- 20:01Speaker 1: to Bobby. And they were having all these like, you know,
- 20:05Speaker 1: parties during COVID that I was like so excited to
- 20:08Speaker 1: do anything. And they'd be these lovely parties outside. They
- 20:11Speaker 1: would have the testing, whatever. And there were like several
- 20:14Speaker 1: of them. And so there was, we took one and
- 20:16Speaker 1: she's like hot summer nights at Josh's house. And I'm like, What?
- 20:20Speaker 1: And so I just reposted it, and people are like, wait,
- 20:22Speaker 1: when was this? I'm like, oh, four years ago. I'm like,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I don't know why she's doing it.
- 20:26Speaker 3: She posted one with Luann the other day as well.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yeah, post me with your million followers. And she is
- 20:31Speaker 1: really so silly and nice. And if you're someone that
- 20:34Speaker 1: watched the show for years, she's one of the few housewives,
- 20:37Speaker 1: if you look at the history of her, she was amazing.
- 20:40Speaker 1: sloppy and fun and she liked to drink and she
- 20:42Speaker 1: was like this and wanting these guys but she never
- 20:44Speaker 1: like plotted any mean shit no that's the thing and
- 20:48Speaker 1: that that is pretty rare to find a housewife that
- 20:50Speaker 1: did six or seven seasons and didn't like hire a
- 20:52Speaker 1: private investigator yeah bring out your tax returns at a
- 20:56Speaker 1: lunch like like she.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Never was like she was always like light and airy
- 20:59Speaker 2: but a bit crazy.
- 21:00Speaker 1: You know and even when like don't uh dorinda was
- 21:02Speaker 1: like you're the hostess with the most she was like.
- 21:06Speaker 2: She was like confused.
- 21:08Speaker 3: You were like the Holland Tunnel.
- 21:09Speaker 2: It's like just mean. It's just like, what the fuck
- 21:11Speaker 2: during that?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, she was just kind of like, oh, you know?
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 2: But I will say like just sitting down with her,
- 21:19Speaker 2: she was just talking and she's like, you know, I
- 21:22Speaker 2: support this, I support this and stuff like that. She'll
- 21:24Speaker 2: kind of like give you a compliment with like an insult.
- 21:27Speaker 3: And you're like, wait.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And you're kind of like, oh, thanks. And you're kind
- 21:32Speaker 2: of like, what? Like, what was that like? She doesn't
- 21:34Speaker 2: mean it. She doesn't even know what she's saying.
- 21:36Speaker 1: When I had her on, she was like, yeah, you
- 21:39Speaker 1: do comedy too. You should open for me. And I'm like,
- 21:41Speaker 1: maybe I will, Sonia. And then people were like, how
- 21:44Speaker 1: are you not insulted? I'm like, I'm not.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Why should she do any research on me?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Uh-huh. Who's interviewing her.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Sure. I would not, I would expect nothing more. So like,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I don't care. And that's the beauty of her.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I have no ego about it.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Make your money, honey. Yeah. Like you, you know, brought
- 22:00Speaker 1: it so much enjoyment for so long.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Like I watch these people that are like, There's nothing
- 22:06Speaker 1: I would want more than to erase the memory of
- 22:09Speaker 1: Real Housewives of New York and be watching it with
- 22:12Speaker 1: fresh eyes like an infant.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Like an infant.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Like when you see some 17-year-old, people are like, oh,
- 22:17Speaker 1: my God, my daughter's from college and found the original episodes.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And it's like she and her friends are obsessed, like
- 22:24Speaker 1: the way they watched Friends three years ago. And I'm like,
- 22:27Speaker 1: it's so great.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Like, it's so great.
- 22:31Speaker 6: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 22:33Speaker 6: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 22:39Speaker 6: before bed. Or two, you know.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 22:49Speaker 6: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 22:52Speaker 6: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 23:06Speaker 4: people who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have
- 23:11Speaker 4: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 23:19Speaker 1: filed against me.
- 23:20Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 23:23Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 23:25Speaker 4: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 23:28Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 23:30Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 23:32Speaker 3: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 23:34Speaker 3: started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 23:38Speaker 4: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 23:41Speaker 4: go through.
- 23:42Speaker 3: It's about what happens next. I decided to risk it all.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 23:50Speaker 2: use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 23:52Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 24:06Speaker 1: And so speaking of which, Ramona had like a real
- 24:09Speaker 1: fun thing happen to her.
- 24:11Speaker 3: What happened?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Apparently, the story is that she, Ramona is 68. I
- 24:19Speaker 1: could not believe this. I also couldn't believe that Emma Roberts,
- 24:22Speaker 1: the actress, is 34. Doesn't that seem crazy that she's
- 24:25Speaker 1: that old?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Anyway, they both look great.
- 24:27Speaker 1: They're both fabulous. And apparently, they were at an event.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And Emma Roberts is a big fan and saw Ramona
- 24:35Speaker 1: and went to approach her. And Ramona has been very
- 24:39Speaker 1: clear to me herself. Cause I had like three hour
- 24:43Speaker 1: lunch with her. She does not like when she's at
- 24:46Speaker 1: something for fans to come up and Interrupt her conversations
- 24:50Speaker 1: and take photos of her and stuff like that. She
- 24:52Speaker 1: just didn't like it. And if she was sitting right here,
- 24:54Speaker 1: she'd be like, you know what, Heather? You know what?
- 24:56Speaker 1: If I'm having like a really nice dinner and I'm
- 24:58Speaker 1: talking to like a gentleman who's taking me out, you know,
- 25:00Speaker 1: I'm not in a cheap date. You know, so we
- 25:02Speaker 1: planned it. We had a beautiful, lovely dinner. And now,
- 25:05Speaker 1: you know, I appreciate the fans. You know, they're just
- 25:07Speaker 1: interrupting me and they're like, can I have a picture?
- 25:08Speaker 1: And I'm like, you know what? You can't, okay? I'm
- 25:11Speaker 1: having a lovely dinner with this gentleman who is hard
- 25:12Speaker 1: of hearing. So if I try to talk to you,
- 25:14Speaker 1: he's going to miss the conversation. And you know what?
- 25:17Speaker 1: I would like a gentleman caller. I'd like a friend.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And I don't really want him to know that I'm
- 25:21Speaker 1: like this big star that gets interrupted all the time.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:24Speaker 1: So she even said that she said when she would
- 25:26Speaker 1: like with her boyfriend, I don't know if they're still together,
- 25:30Speaker 1: but whatever the last one was, he brought, he mentioned
- 25:33Speaker 1: the place like.
- 25:33Speaker 2: The Regency or something.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Please don't tell me about Tom. Yeah. And she picked
- 25:37Speaker 1: some small place hoping that the fans wouldn't approach her
- 25:40Speaker 1: because she doesn't want to turn off a guy because
- 25:43Speaker 1: it really, a lot of straight men do not, you know,
- 25:47Speaker 1: there's a rare breed. There's, you know, a slate here
- 25:50Speaker 1: or there. But there's a, most men don't want to
- 25:54Speaker 1: be on a show. That's like 65 and has millions
- 25:57Speaker 1: of dollars. They're not like, you know what I'd love
- 25:59Speaker 1: to do is have every Midwest housewife analyze my jawline
- 26:04Speaker 1: and my pocketbook. Like they don't want it.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 26:06Speaker 3: My past life, my taxes, my everything.
- 26:08Speaker 1: The whole thing.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Could you imagine?
- 26:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:10Speaker 1: So anyway, apparently this happened that night and Avery was
- 26:16Speaker 1: there and like, was like, mom, this isn't some fan.
- 26:20Speaker 1: This is, you know, Emma Roberts. And tried to– and
- 26:23Speaker 1: went up to Emma Robinson Made Good. And so there's
- 26:26Speaker 1: that story floating around. Well, when recently I guess they
- 26:30Speaker 1: were maybe at this event called the Fountain of Youth,
- 26:32Speaker 1: which is amazing that they invited Ramona because she's always like,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you know what? You know what, Bethany? You didn't go
- 26:37Speaker 1: to my anti-aging line. That's what she said, anti-aging. She
- 26:40Speaker 1: forgot what it was. No, no, she said anti, no,
- 26:43Speaker 1: she said aging, pro, I don't know what she said.
- 26:44Speaker 1: She said, my anti-aging skincare line or something like that.
- 26:47Speaker 2: She goes, you didn't go to it. You didn't, you know, you.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Don't support women.
- 26:51Speaker 2: On the side of the street.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah, she's always like, you know, I have such a
- 26:53Speaker 1: youthful glow. A lot of people think that Avery's my sister.
- 26:56Speaker 1: You know, and so they invited the Fountain of Youth
- 26:59Speaker 1: and she sees her and they do like a fun
- 27:02Speaker 1: like story together. And she's like, I did not know
- 27:04Speaker 1: that you're a big actress. Which no one's catching in
- 27:07Speaker 1: the comments. Like, that's actually really shitty. That like- If
- 27:12Speaker 1: a big actress of some importance, of some fame, that
- 27:16Speaker 1: you'll stop your dinner and take a photo. But if
- 27:19Speaker 1: it's some woman who has bought your book, bought your
- 27:21Speaker 1: Pinot Grigio, watched every episode, has a fan account about you,
- 27:28Speaker 1: that person, you know what? I really appreciate that. It
- 27:32Speaker 1: brought you some joy, but you're not bringing me joy
- 27:33Speaker 1: right now at my table. So I kind of was like, no,
- 27:37Speaker 1: it should have been... So what, that Emma Robertson's a
- 27:40Speaker 1: big fan?
- 27:40Speaker 2: But she knew it was Emma Robertson, so then it
- 27:42Speaker 2: was explained to her.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Then after she sees her, she's like, oh my God,
- 27:45Speaker 1: sorry I was so rude to you.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So then she should be nice on the story.
- 27:49Speaker 1: She's like, can you believe I didn't want to talk
- 27:50Speaker 1: to her? Yeah. Look how great she is. She's a
- 27:53Speaker 1: big actress. You know who her aunt is? It's Julia Roberts.
- 27:56Speaker 2: You know what?
- 27:56Speaker 1: I love Pretty Woman. A lot of people were like,
- 27:58Speaker 1: you're just like Pretty Woman. And I'm like, oh please,
- 28:00Speaker 1: I'm not a hooker. Ha ha ha. No, I don't
- 28:02Speaker 1: know what she said, but I'm just imagining what it is.
- 28:05Speaker 3: That's probably, I bet you pretty woman came up.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Of course.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Of course it did.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Which is what I'm sure whatever Emma Roberts wants to
- 28:12Speaker 1: talk about, but what's fine.
- 28:14Speaker 2: She's a fan.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I love it.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I love Ramona.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Since we're just on a little housewives, we're going to
- 28:19Speaker 1: get into other stuff. I came across a bunch of
- 28:22Speaker 1: clips of Nene and Bethany. I don't know whose show
- 28:26Speaker 1: they were on because it says it's Nene's, but I
- 28:29Speaker 1: think it might've been Bethany's recently. And maybe this is old.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:34Speaker 1: But it was really interesting. I find Bethany, like, very
- 28:40Speaker 1: fun and entertaining. And, of course, I'd love to see
- 28:44Speaker 1: her back on the show being with these girls. But,
- 28:46Speaker 1: you know, she has such a hard-on for, like, Andy and, like,
- 28:49Speaker 1: you know, getting Andy. Yeah, yeah. So her whole thing
- 28:52Speaker 1: in talking about it was kind of funny is how
- 28:55Speaker 1: she was, like, Bethany was like, you know, I did
- 28:57Speaker 1: all this stuff for them. I was like, oh, I'll
- 29:00Speaker 1: get the girls. Oh, I'll go to this restaurant. Oh,
- 29:01Speaker 1: I'll do this. And then NeNe's like, yeah. I was
- 29:04Speaker 1: always like, oh, sure, I'll bring these girls on the show. Oh,
- 29:06Speaker 1: let me tell you who could be cast. And she's like,
- 29:08Speaker 1: and then these girls weren't my friends. So then when
- 29:10Speaker 1: they started to ask me, I was like, do your
- 29:12Speaker 1: own casting. And then Bethany's like, yeah, why am I
- 29:14Speaker 1: doing these people's job? And I'm like, you did the job.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Because you were fresh and new to it.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 1: And the new people will do the job too. Because
- 29:26Speaker 1: if you're new to a job, you're going to try
- 29:27Speaker 1: to impress your boss. Of course. Of course. Once you're
- 29:31Speaker 1: making $ 1 million a year and you've been on five
- 29:34Speaker 1: other TV shows, yeah, they better like pay you and
- 29:38Speaker 1: and kiss your ass and you're not going to stay
- 29:40Speaker 1: an hour longer than you need to. You're not going
- 29:42Speaker 1: to stay five minutes longer.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Than you need to.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 2: But like to that point as well, it's like, you know,
- 29:48Speaker 2: like when you're casting and stuff. don't you want your
- 29:50Speaker 2: friends on so you can vibe with them so you
- 29:52Speaker 2: can have a good time instead of these strangers and
- 29:54Speaker 2: then you force yourself to kind of like them. So
- 29:56Speaker 2: it's like.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'll tell you why, okay? Because you're a guy.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 1: This is so... I'm so fascinated about how men and
- 30:04Speaker 1: women are so different. And in raising my sons, it's
- 30:07Speaker 1: made me understand men so much more. Women are kind
- 30:11Speaker 1: of fucking awful. And I'm just going to say it.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Like men... Like someone... I saw a clip of like
- 30:17Speaker 1: a bunch of guys... like with their friends and they're
- 30:21Speaker 1: busting each other's balls and dah, dah, dah. And then
- 30:23Speaker 1: the guy leaves and then they're all like, he's the
- 30:25Speaker 1: fucking greatest. He's the fucking greatest. Women are the opposite.
- 30:28Speaker 1: They're nice to your face. And then the girl leaves
- 30:30Speaker 1: and they're like, um, can I be mean for a minute?
- 30:33Speaker 1: Everyone's like, yes, you can. What was with that? You know,
- 30:36Speaker 1: like it's just, it's just a different dynamic. We can
- 30:40Speaker 1: still be really lovely friends to each other for a lifetime,
- 30:43Speaker 1: but there's something about and that's what's different is that
- 30:47Speaker 1: guys will be so mean to each other's faces mean
- 30:50Speaker 1: on the golf course mean on tennis whatever like be
- 30:52Speaker 1: like oh geez and then but.
- 30:55Speaker 2: It's like 10 minutes later it's forgotten about.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Yeah and it almost means that they like like you
- 30:59Speaker 1: like their guard is down versus like we watch these
- 31:02Speaker 1: shows and if a woman was like oh yeah as
- 31:05Speaker 1: if that's a real Chanel okay you know and a
- 31:09Speaker 1: guy if the world's reverse the guys would like laugh
- 31:12Speaker 1: about that they got a fake Chanel thing but It's like,
- 31:15Speaker 1: why would you say that?
- 31:16Speaker 2: That's such a dig.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That's so mean.
- 31:17Speaker 2: That's so catty.
- 31:19Speaker 3: We'll say that's closer to like females. Are they meaner?
- 31:22Speaker 2: They're still kind of, no, we just, we bust your balls.
- 31:24Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. It's not a sexual thing. It's literally,
- 31:28Speaker 1: you have a man's brain and you have a male
- 31:32Speaker 1: dynamic with your friends and women, whether they're straight, gay, whatever.
- 31:35Speaker 1: it's kind of a, just a different, it's a different thing.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And it could also be super, you know, in a
- 31:41Speaker 1: unique way of where women should be doing more, be
- 31:45Speaker 1: more involved in the shows because these things are more serious,
- 31:50Speaker 1: but to maybe like a gay male producer, they think
- 31:52Speaker 1: it's like funny. They think it's funny and dah, dah, dah,
- 31:55Speaker 1: but it's actually quite cruel. And like, that's, that's why
- 31:57Speaker 1: I love talking about this and, and will forever. But yeah,
- 32:01Speaker 1: I think, I feel like what it is about having
- 32:04Speaker 1: your friends on is the intention is first that the
- 32:07Speaker 1: girls are naive and they're like, yeah, of course I
- 32:09Speaker 1: want my best friend. And the friend has now come
- 32:13Speaker 1: to a bunch of things and kind of looked in
- 32:15Speaker 1: and seen that their friend's life, season one or two,
- 32:18Speaker 1: is usually pretty fabulous. They're going to BravoCon, they're getting
- 32:23Speaker 1: cute fans, unless you're Ramona, are coming up to them,
- 32:26Speaker 1: and they love having the dinner interrupted and they say
- 32:28Speaker 1: interesting things and they're like, your friend is my favorite housewife.
- 32:31Speaker 1: And so then, They'll go to their friend, hey, they're
- 32:34Speaker 1: doing casting. Would you guys ever consider being on the show?
- 32:37Speaker 1: And then that girl goes home and she's like, you
- 32:39Speaker 1: know what? I'm cute and interesting. I have an opinion. Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 1: I would like to maybe be on the show.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Great.
- 32:45Speaker 1: So then she comes on the show. But then the
- 32:49Speaker 1: manipulation of the production and the casting will go, wouldn't
- 32:53Speaker 1: it be juicy if Nini's lifelong friend turns on her? Sure.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And so when a Nini and a Bethany then have
- 33:01Speaker 1: some years on them, or anyone, they are like, no,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'm not good. I remember Tamara told me that. She goes,
- 33:07Speaker 1: they used to ask me all the time to have friends.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And now I'm like, no, because I don't want to
- 33:12Speaker 1: have that friend five years from now. And if they
- 33:14Speaker 1: come on the show, part of it is.
- 33:16Speaker 3: It's a risk.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It's a massive risk.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Part of it is being jealous, you know, which is
- 33:21Speaker 1: the typical, which is Beth, which is Teresa and Melissa.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you want your sister and your brother-in-law on
- 33:29Speaker 1: the show? Because it was her show.
- 33:32Speaker 2: It's my thing.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I didn't want you to have the light. I was
- 33:35Speaker 1: competitive with, they were competitive always.
- 33:37Speaker 2: And did Teresa bring her on?
- 33:38Speaker 1: Teresa did not bring her on.
- 33:40Speaker 2: How did she get on again, Melissa?
- 33:41Speaker 1: And they knew that Teresa wouldn't want her on. And
- 33:44Speaker 1: so then they went behind Teresa's back and talked to
- 33:46Speaker 1: Melissa and then was like, we want you on the show.
- 33:49Speaker 1: And Melissa and Joe were like, fuck yeah, we want
- 33:50Speaker 1: to come on the show. And then they came on
- 33:53Speaker 1: and maybe there was some discussion. It's one of those
- 33:55Speaker 1: things that like, you know, is still murky. But after
- 33:58Speaker 1: 13 years, like, You know, it's like saying Kim Kardashian
- 34:02Speaker 1: is only famous because she had a sex tape. Maybe
- 34:04Speaker 1: that made her known to some people.
- 34:06Speaker 3: It's a stepping stone.
- 34:07Speaker 1: People aren't buying her skims today. And Ryan Murphy isn't.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Because of that thing.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Because they're like, you know what? you know I'm buying
- 34:13Speaker 1: this skim because I really liked the way Ray J
- 34:17Speaker 1: did her from behind. And I'm like, that isn't happening.
- 34:20Speaker 1: So it's like, yes, that's like whether you're a nepo
- 34:22Speaker 1: favor or whatever. Like sometimes you get on there. But
- 34:25Speaker 1: I think that's the thing. It's like, well, no, you know.
- 34:28Speaker 1: And no, but you should just want to have your
- 34:30Speaker 1: friends and have fun with it. But with women, you
- 34:33Speaker 1: don't really– the friendships can be very broken.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Because it's like they want the drama and they don't
- 34:37Speaker 2: want like a nice friendship on the show.
- 34:39Speaker 1: And you throw fame in it and you're like– What
- 34:41Speaker 1: are you really here for?
- 34:42Speaker 2: Is it really fame? Is it really not?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Do you know what I always think?
- 34:45Speaker 2: Do you know when they do those commercials on Bravo?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:48Speaker 2: And like, you know, you have the cast of six
- 34:49Speaker 2: or seven of them and two of the girls get
- 34:51Speaker 2: picked to do like the car commercial or whatever it
- 34:54Speaker 2: is like. they must be raging, the ones that don't
- 34:56Speaker 2: get chosen. They must be so pissed. I always think
- 34:59Speaker 2: about that.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Where it's like a movie, hey girl, let's get the
- 35:03Speaker 1: popcorn and watch this new movie that's an NBC Universal
- 35:07Speaker 1: movie or whatever.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Do you know what I saw last night?
- 35:10Speaker 2: Somebody posted, do you remember they used to do the
- 35:12Speaker 2: Summer by Bravo commercials? Yes, they were so good. And
- 35:14Speaker 2: they were cool, they were really good.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Falling in the pool, yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 2: You always saw just a select few housewives. The rest
- 35:20Speaker 2: of them must have been pissed that they didn't get
- 35:22Speaker 2: chosen for those massive commercials. Well, yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I mean, I remember with the Bethany-Jill kind of argument
- 35:29Speaker 1: from the very start.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Was, you know, Jill got her on the show.
- 35:34Speaker 1: And in the beginning, Jill would be like, oh, my God,
- 35:36Speaker 1: I have this opportunity to go on a talk show.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Can I bring Bethany? It'll be more fun with both
- 35:41Speaker 1: of us. So then Jill would bring Bethany. And then
- 35:44Speaker 1: all of a sudden, that morning.
- 35:46Speaker 3: She'd be- Jill's so funny.
- 35:47Speaker 2: She's like, oh my God, I cast the whole show.
- 35:48Speaker 2: It doesn't even matter. She says, you know, I get
- 35:49Speaker 2: no thanks for it. She's like, you know, I'm in Boca.
- 35:51Speaker 1: And then she would be like talking to Bethany. What
- 35:53Speaker 1: are you doing today? You know, and Bethany would be like, oh, nothing.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You know, and then like Jill would turn on her TV.
- 35:57Speaker 4: It's like I got chipped.
- 35:58Speaker 1: And see that Bethany like did a talk show. And
- 36:01Speaker 1: she was like, why would you have asked me to
- 36:02Speaker 1: do it?
- 36:02Speaker 2: Why can't you be with me?
- 36:03Speaker 1: And then Bethany was like, I'm not in a girl band.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to become a star on my own. And
- 36:07Speaker 1: they asked me myself, and why would I want to
- 36:09Speaker 1: share the seven minutes with you? I mean, that's just
- 36:11Speaker 1: the truth. But Jill was like, I can't understand it
- 36:14Speaker 1: because Jill's goal wasn't to have her own talk show.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Jill was just like, wouldn't it be funny if we
- 36:19Speaker 1: were all together? That was really the start of like,
- 36:21Speaker 1: that's what makes it so hard that women, even when
- 36:24Speaker 1: women aren't famous and somebody gets divorced or whatever, women
- 36:29Speaker 1: of 30 years will dump that woman and have dinner
- 36:32Speaker 1: with the guy and his new wife. There are women
- 36:35Speaker 1: that are that disloyal. Really? And I don't feel like
- 36:38Speaker 1: it really happens with the guys. I feel like if
- 36:41Speaker 1: the guy was the main friend for all those years,
- 36:45Speaker 1: if the divorce happens, like the guy's still like, I'm
- 36:47Speaker 1: going to be friends with you.
- 36:49Speaker 2: If it's a couple that they.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Met together through the wife, you got to go with
- 36:53Speaker 1: the woman's friend. Like, you know, but if it's a
- 36:56Speaker 1: social climbing situation, they might just be like, You know,
- 36:59Speaker 1: like I always remember that scene in the made for
- 37:02Speaker 1: TV movie with Betty Broderick who killed her, ended up
- 37:04Speaker 1: killing her husband and his second wife. And she calls
- 37:06Speaker 1: her friend, she takes off her 80s clip earring and
- 37:08Speaker 1: she goes, it's your birthday. I'm taking you out to lunch.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Where do you want to go? Like we do every year.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And she goes, oh, Betty, I can't. And she's like,
- 37:16Speaker 1: what are you talking about? What do you mean you
- 37:17Speaker 1: can't go? It's a tradition. And she goes, Frank and
- 37:21Speaker 1: I have been social with Dan and Linda. And she's like,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I got to you too. And it was like, that
- 37:27Speaker 1: was it. Like 30 years of taking this bitch out
- 37:29Speaker 1: to lunch.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 1: At some seaside cliff in La Jolla, California.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Some things come to an end.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Some things come to an end.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Let's talk about the valley.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Oh, Jesus.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Janet had another- Can we just go through each one? Sure. Janet,
- 37:43Speaker 1: let me hear your opinion. Janet, we'll just say Janet
- 37:46Speaker 1: had another horrible episode because of what she said on
- 37:50Speaker 1: a boat, which is she doubled down and said that
- 37:54Speaker 1: Danny- who is married to Nia and who has an
- 38:01Speaker 1: ability to get a little drunk and made an imperfect
- 38:05Speaker 1: comment to Jasmine, who is a lesbian with her girlfriend.
- 38:10Speaker 1: And I guess maybe he did touch their butt. I
- 38:12Speaker 1: don't even know if he ever touched the butt.
- 38:14Speaker 2: It wasn't in season one, and I did not watch
- 38:15Speaker 2: season one, but I believe.
- 38:17Speaker 1: None of this happened on camera, by the way, so
- 38:19Speaker 1: it's all being referred to.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Didn't he like tap Jasmine and was like, hey, get
- 38:23Speaker 3: me a drink.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Oh, get daddy a drink.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Get daddy a drink.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I never knew that he touched her. I thought he
- 38:27Speaker 1: just said it. Whatever.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 38:30Speaker 1: She said last night.
- 38:32Speaker 3: It must have been touch if she said the word SA.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Sexual abuse or whatever.
- 38:35Speaker 1: So then Janet and Kristen were really good friends. They
- 38:39Speaker 1: did meet through Sheena. It's no secret that Janet met
- 38:43Speaker 1: Sheena many years ago.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Yes.
- 38:45Speaker 2: As a fan.
- 38:46Speaker 1: As a fan. Like going up like I love the show.
- 38:47Speaker 1: And then they like hit it off at like a
- 38:49Speaker 1: pool party. became friends, went to like Disneyland the next
- 38:52Speaker 1: day and has been friends for many years. I would
- 38:54Speaker 1: see Janet and all the Sheena stuff over the years.
- 38:58Speaker 1: And so, yeah, that did happen, you know? And so anyway,
- 39:02Speaker 1: now Kristen like hates Janet because she feels like Janet
- 39:06Speaker 1: shouldn't have been talking about Danny like that. And so
- 39:09Speaker 1: she gets mad and they're on this yacht or whatever
- 39:12Speaker 1: boat thing in Maui. And Janet's like, I mean, whatever,
- 39:18Speaker 1: he sexually assaulted someone. So like, there you go. And
- 39:20Speaker 1: she's like, how could you say that? Now, I'm just
- 39:22Speaker 1: going to say this. This is a reality show.
- 39:27Speaker 2: They are drinking.
- 39:29Speaker 1: If they're truly drinking. doing their job, they are supposed
- 39:31Speaker 1: to forget that the cameras are on them. They're not
- 39:34Speaker 1: saying this in a court of law. They're not saying
- 39:37Speaker 1: this like, yes, it's filmed. They have no say in
- 39:40Speaker 1: the edit. Even if Janet went right to the producers,
- 39:44Speaker 1: please cut that out. I did not mean to say it. Sure.
- 39:47Speaker 1: They're not going to.
- 39:48Speaker 2: No way.
- 39:49Speaker 1: So it's like where she's like, this is defamation. Well,
- 39:51Speaker 1: you can't sue for defamation according to these contracts because
- 39:54Speaker 1: people blurt out stuff. In real life, you and I talk.
- 39:58Speaker 2: We sign our life away and whatever we get, we get.
- 40:01Speaker 1: You and I get in a fight and I say
- 40:02Speaker 1: something to you.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Unless it hurts the network, then they'll take it out.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Yeah, right, exactly.
- 40:07Speaker 1: And so I'm like, so without Janet being, you know,
- 40:13Speaker 1: kind of on Danny about his drinking and this and that,
- 40:16Speaker 1: there really wouldn't have been much going on in the
- 40:17Speaker 1: show besides Jax and Brittany. But it does rub people
- 40:22Speaker 1: wrong and they are like now saying we want her
- 40:24Speaker 1: off the show.
- 40:24Speaker 2: She's just obsessed with their relationship, like it seems like,
- 40:27Speaker 2: with Nia and Danny. And like, I think it's just
- 40:30Speaker 2: so awful the way they've treated him in this season. Like,
- 40:32Speaker 2: I just feel like It's like, he's just like standing
- 40:35Speaker 2: around and they're like drunk, drunk, alcoholic, like, you know,
- 40:38Speaker 2: pointed like sexual abuse. Like, it's like, Jesus Christ.
- 40:40Speaker 1: He's just like, he works full time. They live in
- 40:43Speaker 1: a tiny apartment. He's agreeing to have a fourth baby.
- 40:46Speaker 1: He's like in love with his wife.
- 40:48Speaker 2: And I just think it's damaging. And like to go
- 40:51Speaker 2: and like, here's the thing. They know what they say
- 40:54Speaker 2: is going to be on camera. Hey, maybe I shouldn't
- 40:56Speaker 2: say that. If I want to refer to like, get
- 40:58Speaker 2: me a drink, bitch, or whatever he said, like, Like
- 41:01Speaker 2: just say like, oh, he just tapped her in the
- 41:03Speaker 2: bum and just said like, go get me a drink.
- 41:05Speaker 3: It wasn't really nice. You shouldn't be doing that to women.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 41:08Speaker 2: If they're all friends, I mean, I've been groped over
- 41:12Speaker 2: the years in West Hollywood by women like there and
- 41:14Speaker 2: stuff like that. And I'm like, oh my God, get
- 41:16Speaker 2: off me.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Like whatever.
- 41:17Speaker 2: And it's, and I don't know that person. So if
- 41:19Speaker 2: it's a friend, like just taps you in the ass
- 41:21Speaker 2: and be like, get me a drink or whatever. I
- 41:22Speaker 2: don't give a shit. You know what I mean?
- 41:23Speaker 1: Well, the thing is it happened a year prior and
- 41:25Speaker 1: I think Jasmine didn't have a lot going on.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Sure.
- 41:28Speaker 1: And I do think producers go, what can we, extract
- 41:32Speaker 1: from your interaction as friends that we can make some
- 41:35Speaker 1: drama out of, you know, and it can't be that
- 41:38Speaker 1: you brought a rotten egg salad. Like it has to
- 41:41Speaker 1: be something juicier. So, I mean, I just think then
- 41:44Speaker 1: they were like, bring it up. So they brought it
- 41:46Speaker 1: up and there was an interesting element of being, you know,
- 41:49Speaker 1: a gay female couple and how guys like sometimes straight
- 41:53Speaker 1: guys kind of diminish that. So I kind of appreciated that.
- 41:56Speaker 1: But then they met and they cleared it up. And
- 41:57Speaker 1: you could tell that now Jasmine and her girlfriend are like,
- 42:01Speaker 1: shut up about it. Like, we don't want to be
- 42:03Speaker 1: part of this drama anymore. Like, we forgave them. We're good.
- 42:07Speaker 1: We want to be on the show. We like them.
- 42:10Speaker 1: And it's just, yeah, it's, I don't know what will
- 42:14Speaker 1: happen with, I don't know where this will leave the
- 42:17Speaker 1: casting for next season.
- 42:18Speaker 2: I think a few of them are.
- 42:20Speaker 3: I mean, Michelle needs to go.
- 42:21Speaker 1: I think, I don't know. I don't know who you'd
- 42:24Speaker 1: keep or leave because I think- You know, Nia and
- 42:27Speaker 1: Danny might leave for their own mental health. They live
- 42:30Speaker 1: in Santa Clarita. I think they want Janet and Jason
- 42:34Speaker 1: to leave. They will not get rid of the one
- 42:36Speaker 1: person that made the show go. I don't care how
- 42:38Speaker 1: much people hate her. She'll be back and she'll be
- 42:41Speaker 1: delighted to be back.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Jesse will stay.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I kind of like Michelle and the guy with the
- 42:45Speaker 1: eyes and Jesse.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Do you think Sheena and Lala will come back next season?
- 42:48Speaker 3: Do you think they'll be kind of introduced?
- 42:50Speaker 1: I definitely think they're going to become regular people. And
- 42:54Speaker 1: maybe even like– and definitely Tom Schwartz.
- 42:56Speaker 2: That's what I think.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Tom Schwartz.
- 42:57Speaker 2: And Jax.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Do you think Jax will remain?
- 42:59Speaker 2: Oh, Jax is definitely going to stay. Of course, yeah.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Definitely going to stay.
- 43:02Speaker 3: If Jax is gone, Brittany needs to go.
- 43:03Speaker 1: He needs to have his redemption season where we actually
- 43:07Speaker 1: see if he can change or not or he gets
- 43:09Speaker 1: another girlfriend that makes it interesting.
- 43:13Speaker 2: But, yeah.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But, you know– the show, the show.
- 43:17Speaker 3: It's, I mean, there's lots of shit going on.
- 43:19Speaker 1: There's lots of shit going on, but sometimes I still
- 43:21Speaker 1: get a, like, I'm a little bit like, all right,
- 43:23Speaker 1: get on with it. You know, like, but I still
- 43:25Speaker 1: thought it was good. Um, it made me honestly not
- 43:28Speaker 1: want to go to Hawaii that bad.
- 43:30Speaker 2: I always think, you know what, here's what I always say.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Here's what I always say about Hawaii. I've been there
- 43:34Speaker 2: three times. I went to Kauai and everything, did the
- 43:36Speaker 2: Jurassic Park thing. I'm like, no matter how many times
- 43:39Speaker 2: I go, I always feel like I'm in Santa Monica.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I just do.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I was just kind of like, Looking at it, I'm like,
- 43:45Speaker 1: this does not make me jealous at all. When they
- 43:47Speaker 1: went down to like, okay, guys, now we have some
- 43:51Speaker 1: food downstairs, and you see the fans to keep the
- 43:54Speaker 1: bugs away. And I was like, that chicken kebab looks Costco-esque.
- 43:59Speaker 2: No, I'm not spending three or four grand going there
- 44:01Speaker 2: when I can go to Greece.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Like, it just didn't look that good. I'm a Cabo girl,
- 44:05Speaker 1: so to me, I'd rather do a two and a
- 44:07Speaker 1: half hour trip. Cabo's great, yeah. I don't know. Like,
- 44:11Speaker 1: it just didn't make me jealous for Hawaii because we
- 44:13Speaker 1: know how ridiculously expensive Hawaii is.
- 44:16Speaker 4: It is.
- 44:16Speaker 2: It's Santa Monica.
- 44:18Speaker 1: I'm telling.
- 44:20Speaker 4: You.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Anyway, and then they were, like, all sick because it was, like,
- 44:23Speaker 1: a double-decker boat.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Like, when they were having the worst fight. I was
- 44:27Speaker 2: texting my friend Nicola, and she's a travel agent, you know,
- 44:29Speaker 2: and I'm like, what do you think about this? She's like, well,
- 44:30Speaker 2: it's not the best place. And I'm like, but, you know,
- 44:33Speaker 2: she says, like, this place is good. I'm like, no.
- 44:35Speaker 3: I said, I'm not going to fucking Santa Monica.
- 44:37Speaker 2: No way.
- 44:37Speaker 3: It's just like.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And I know there's, like, a lot going on in Maui,
- 44:41Speaker 1: so maybe that's why, like, you know, with the staffing and,
- 44:44Speaker 1: of course, the tragedy of the fires and stuff. So
- 44:46Speaker 1: I don't know if that's, like, causing.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Like, it to look that great.
- 44:49Speaker 1: But then while they're having the worst fight, what's the
- 44:52Speaker 1: most beautiful sunset?
- 44:53Speaker 2: That was stunning. Oh, my God. She was running off
- 44:55Speaker 2: the boat, and I could see, like, just, like, this
- 44:56Speaker 2: line of— Purple, pink, like, yeah. It was stunning.
- 44:58Speaker 3: It was, like, this orange. I was like, wow. I'm like, wait,
- 45:01Speaker 3: the fight?
- 45:01Speaker 2: Like— Yeah, yeah.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Anyway, amazing. Speaking of all the Housewives stuff, do you
- 45:06Speaker 1: know that I have a big show happening on BravoCon weekend?
- 45:10Speaker 2: I'm going to be going, and I'm going to be
- 45:12Speaker 2: going to your show.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Maybe I'll bring you. Maybe you can be part of
- 45:14Speaker 1: the show.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Oh, my God, yeah.
- 45:15Speaker 3: I'm going to be there.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Maybe you can ask me some fun questions, have me
- 45:17Speaker 1: do something fun. There are some. So I would love
- 45:20Speaker 1: for you to be part of it. November 14th, 10 p.m., HeatherMcDonald.net,
- 45:25Speaker 1: and get your tickets.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Do you have tickets for BravoCon yet?
- 45:31Speaker 3: Sorry, go ahead.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Do I? No, I don't, but I would most likely go.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I'm going to probably go, maybe I'll go Friday for
- 45:41Speaker 1: sure so that I have like some shit to talk about.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I just want one day. Yeah, so I'll probably.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Go Friday and then maybe I would go the next
- 45:47Speaker 1: day or something. But I definitely, obviously I'm definitely going
- 45:51Speaker 1: to go a little, you know, go for it. So
- 45:54Speaker 1: I would love to go. If not, it doesn't matter.
- 45:57Speaker 1: The show will be hilarious and funny. And we don't
- 46:00Speaker 1: need to placate because no one's asking me to run
- 46:03Speaker 1: a panel.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the one I went to in New York City.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Remember the BravoCon New York City? Me and Amy were there.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And you invited me and I went. Remember with the
- 46:12Speaker 2: drag queens from Dublin, they flew in and stuff.
- 46:14Speaker 4: So fun.
- 46:14Speaker 2: They were so, so sweet. So did they ever tell
- 46:15Speaker 2: you the Jill Zarin story of that? Because Jill Zarin
- 46:18Speaker 2: was there.
- 46:18Speaker 3: She was there, right?
- 46:19Speaker 2: And so I was getting the girls like drinks. I said,
- 46:22Speaker 2: I'll get drinks, whatever. So I pass her and I'm like,
- 46:24Speaker 2: you know what? I'm just going to say hi, you know,
- 46:26Speaker 2: because I said, hey, Jill, you know, it's Stuart, like
- 46:29Speaker 2: I'm with Jeff and stuff like that, you know? And
- 46:30Speaker 2: she's like, oh my God, I wanted to meet you
- 46:31Speaker 2: and stuff like that. So I go get drinks and
- 46:34Speaker 2: then I come back and I'm not sitting with her.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Like I sat down for a second to say hi.
- 46:38Speaker 2: So I keep going back down to the girls. She
- 46:40Speaker 2: goes on the show the next day with Jeff or something. Yeah,
- 46:43Speaker 2: I met him. It's like, you know, he never came back.
- 46:45Speaker 2: He never came back with the drinks. I was like,
- 46:47Speaker 2: I wasn't getting you drinks.
- 46:49Speaker 1: And first of all, the only thing she drinks is
- 46:50Speaker 1: Diet Coke. So yeah, like whatever. She was so funny.
- 46:55Speaker 1: And yeah, we're going to go to her event.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:00Speaker 1: In the Hamptons.
- 47:00Speaker 2: In the Hamptons.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 47:01Speaker 1: And you asked me if I've ever gone before.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Just like literally what you're wearing now. Just like wear less.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Because it's so hot there.
- 47:07Speaker 1: In the Hamptons right now?
- 47:08Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 47:09Speaker 2: I've gone twice, right? I mean, you've gone a few times.
- 47:12Speaker 2: So I have.
- 47:13Speaker 1: I remember the first time I went was at her
- 47:16Speaker 1: house when Bobby was still with us. And she had
- 47:19Speaker 1: the most beautiful modern house. And I think I stayed
- 47:23Speaker 1: with my friend Lisa. And unfortunately, Lisa's redoing her house.
- 47:27Speaker 1: So I won't be able to stay with her this time.
- 47:29Speaker 1: But we came with a couple other girls. And it
- 47:32Speaker 1: was really great. And I took a photo with all
- 47:36Speaker 1: the housewives. She had them come from Melbourne. And they
- 47:39Speaker 1: were all there. And it was all of us and
- 47:41Speaker 1: then me. She was like, get Heather in here. And
- 47:43Speaker 1: that's when Ramona was like, who's Heather? She's like, I've
- 47:46Speaker 1: heard your name. Who's Heather?
- 47:47Speaker 2: And I was like, hi.
- 47:48Speaker 1: And we're standing around the pool. And it was so fun.
- 47:51Speaker 1: And then also that same weekend was... She took me,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I stayed with her and she took
- 47:58Speaker 1: me to the most magnificent house I have yet to
- 48:03Speaker 1: be at. It was acres. It looked like Versailles in
- 48:05Speaker 1: the Hamptons and it was someone's birthday or something. And
- 48:07Speaker 1: she goes, She goes, you know, it's a big no-no
- 48:09Speaker 1: to bring house guests to dinner parties in the summer.
- 48:12Speaker 1: You're not supposed to bring your house guests. That's when
- 48:13Speaker 1: you get invited. It doesn't matter who's staying with you.
- 48:15Speaker 1: You're not supposed to go. But I told her you're
- 48:17Speaker 1: on TV. And so she was like, okay.
- 48:20Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, okay.
- 48:21Speaker 1: So that was like back when I was still on Jones.
- 48:23Speaker 1: It was so long ago. So I go to that
- 48:25Speaker 1: and that was the funniest night ever. I mean, I
- 48:29Speaker 1: was dying, and Jill went right up to the host
- 48:32Speaker 1: and was like, you know, I'm a little perturbed with you.
- 48:34Speaker 1: She's like, you are? She's like, you had a lecture.
- 48:36Speaker 1: You didn't invite me. And the girl's like, Jill, what?
- 48:39Speaker 1: And I literally felt like I was just watching her.
- 48:42Speaker 1: A show.
- 48:42Speaker 2: A show, yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 1: And then also we went to another rich lady's house.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And I got to get a tennis lesson from a
- 48:48Speaker 1: hot tennis guy. I lived... Jill is.
- 48:51Speaker 3: She looks after you when you... So connected.
- 48:53Speaker 1: So connected, so great. I got to go to all...
- 48:55Speaker 1: And it was a sit-down luncheon, like my favorite thing
- 48:59Speaker 1: to do. And then... Then another year, oh God, I've
- 49:03Speaker 1: gone a few times. And then, yeah, another year it
- 49:05Speaker 1: was at a hotel, at the hotel, which I think
- 49:08Speaker 1: it is this time. And that was just really, really fun.
- 49:11Speaker 1: And then it was always, then there was another year
- 49:13Speaker 1: that I was with Patty Stanger and we like were,
- 49:17Speaker 1: we hopped on like some rich guy's boat and there
- 49:21Speaker 1: were these girls that I.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Think were you know, part of him or whatever. Yeah.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Like paid ladies to be there. And I get in
- 49:27Speaker 1: the jacuzzi with them and I'm like asking them, what
- 49:31Speaker 1: is it like to be like a yacht girl? I
- 49:32Speaker 1: was like getting so much scoop. And then, and then
- 49:37Speaker 1: they're like, oh, and then Dina, Lindsay Lohan's mom, Dina
- 49:40Speaker 1: Lohan was with us.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 49:41Speaker 1: And so then they're like, let's go back to the book,
- 49:45Speaker 1: whatever that place is.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Bibliotheque.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Bibliotheque.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Let's have dinner there. Jill has like a girl's dinner there.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:51Speaker 1: So we get back in the little boat. We get
- 49:53Speaker 1: in the car, Patty Singer's like driving. Patty and Jill
- 49:56Speaker 1: both don't drink. We get there and now we're having dinner.
- 50:00Speaker 1: And this girl that like met Dina Lohan on the
- 50:04Speaker 1: boat comes up to our table and is like, how
- 50:08Speaker 1: could you leave Dina Lohan there? And Jill's like, what? Like,
- 50:11Speaker 1: we didn't realize that Dina was like on the boat
- 50:13Speaker 1: with like the yacht people. It was like the funniest night.
- 50:17Speaker 1: And I also saw Tom there.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Oh, like the Tom.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Lou Anne's Tom.
- 50:22Speaker 1: After they had just broken up and I was like
- 50:24Speaker 1: trying to get the scoop and he was just about
- 50:27Speaker 1: to spill it. And then he was like, I probably
- 50:29Speaker 1: shouldn't be telling this lady this.
- 50:31Speaker 2: And I'm like, no, you probably shouldn't.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Yeah. It was so fun. So I hope that we
- 50:36Speaker 1: can match the energy and the fun that we've had
- 50:38Speaker 1: in the past.
- 50:39Speaker 4: We will.
- 50:40Speaker 2: I just– it's always– I just like melt when I'm there.
- 50:44Speaker 2: It's just so hot. Now, I think she's at the
- 50:46Speaker 2: Southampton Inn again this year. And so, which is nice
- 50:49Speaker 2: because you can go inside or whatever. But days are different.
- 50:52Speaker 1: So it's like, whatever, I'll find a cute dress. And
- 50:55Speaker 1: the money goes to charity and she has all these
- 50:57Speaker 1: other vendors. So if there are still tickets, people should
- 51:00Speaker 1: go and get tickets.
- 51:01Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 51:01Speaker 1: And have fun. Okay, now I have talked about and
- 51:04Speaker 1: just like that a lot. And you guys, I'd be
- 51:06Speaker 1: remiss if I didn't tell you some important information that
- 51:10Speaker 1: I have cracked the code. of people thinking it's chat GPT,
- 51:15Speaker 1: it's AI who's writing this, this doesn't make sense. The
- 51:18Speaker 1: biggest mistake they recently made was the character of Lisa.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Her dad died, but he died in season one, came
- 51:26Speaker 1: to a dinner party in season two, and then died
- 51:28Speaker 1: again in season three. And so I kept waiting for
- 51:32Speaker 1: that to come forward and say, something.
- 51:35Speaker 4: You know.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Lisa was like, I was lying in season one.
- 51:37Speaker 1: No, and so then, wait, I have to find it,
- 51:39Speaker 1: but Lisa did say something. She has made a statement
- 51:42Speaker 1: and she said, I did remember that my dad had
- 51:45Speaker 1: already died and that we'd filmed that scene, but I
- 51:48Speaker 1: just figured I would just go with what the writers
- 51:50Speaker 1: gave me. Well, as an actress, I think she was
- 51:53Speaker 1: smart enough to see that mistake, but realize that they
- 51:57Speaker 1: didn't realize it. But if she'd said it, then her
- 52:00Speaker 1: entire juicy scene of warning her dad, going to his,
- 52:04Speaker 1: she had many scenes last episode because the dad died
- 52:09Speaker 1: and it was good acting and she, you know, it
- 52:11Speaker 1: was funny and dah, dah, dah. So it was like sad. And,
- 52:13Speaker 1: and so I think she was like, I'm not going
- 52:15Speaker 1: to tell them this. And so she did it.
- 52:18Speaker 2: That's probably why you're right.
- 52:20Speaker 1: And same thing with this other actress who's playing Aiden's
- 52:22Speaker 1: wife was in like textile tech or something as her job.
- 52:27Speaker 1: But she was cast as Miranda's boss as a lawyer
- 52:31Speaker 1: 20 years ago. And I don't think she wanted to
- 52:33Speaker 1: remind him about that either. So then I said, I
- 52:38Speaker 1: have got to crack the case of this. And I
- 52:40Speaker 1: listened to the In Just Like That podcast this morning.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Oh, Jesus.
- 52:45Speaker 2: You guys, I figured it out.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Who does the podcast?
- 52:48Speaker 1: Michael Patrick King and all the writers. And they go
- 52:52Speaker 1: through the episodes scene by scene and why they thought
- 52:55Speaker 1: of it and how they came about it and how
- 52:56Speaker 1: they even picked the furniture, whatever. And I, listening to it,
- 53:02Speaker 1: I was like, this is a bunch of the English
- 53:07Speaker 1: writers faculty at my all-girl high school that think that
- 53:10Speaker 1: they are the most brilliant, funny people, but they're actual dorks.
- 53:14Speaker 1: And yes, I'm saying it, and no, I'll never be
- 53:16Speaker 1: cast in anything Michael Patrick King is going to do.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I don't care. I have a good life doing my
- 53:21Speaker 1: own thing. That is what it is. They think they're
- 53:24Speaker 1: so funny. They think they're so clever. They never bring
- 53:28Speaker 1: up the fact that That it's garbage. That about the dad.
- 53:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Because I think they probably recorded it like months ago.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Probably each time they finished an episode, it was in
- 53:36Speaker 1: the editing can. They probably recorded it. They're probably being
- 53:39Speaker 1: smart enough not to listen to people like me.
- 53:42Speaker 2: They shouldn't.
- 53:43Speaker 1: They're doing this for themselves. Never once in the podcast
- 53:45Speaker 1: do they say, we thought the audience would love this.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Never once.
- 53:49Speaker 1: They're doing it for themselves. They think they're funny. They're like,
- 53:53Speaker 1: and you know what? It's writing 101. And then we
- 53:58Speaker 1: see the, The glass cracked, and it's a metaphor for da, da, da.
- 54:02Speaker 2: And it's literally your.
- 54:05Speaker 1: English teacher who is a narcissist English teacher that gets
- 54:11Speaker 1: to perform for people that are captives. 55 minutes a day,
- 54:15Speaker 1: and think they're so smart, they think they're Maya Angelou,
- 54:18Speaker 1: they think they're Shakespeare, they think they're a standup comic,
- 54:20Speaker 1: and they're, you know, and like that's who it is,
- 54:23Speaker 1: that's who's writing the show. It's not comedians, it's not
- 54:27Speaker 1: all gay men, it's a mix of people that are
- 54:31Speaker 1: the age of the characters, This is what they think
- 54:34Speaker 1: is funny. They're not writing it for the 35-year-old that
- 54:36Speaker 1: loves Sex and the City. They're not writing it for
- 54:38Speaker 1: the 55-year-old that loves Sex and the City. They're writing
- 54:40Speaker 1: it for themselves. There's no juicy plot twist. They literally
- 54:44Speaker 1: are writing it like a boring book that you got
- 54:47Speaker 1: assigned and you had to write essays on and your
- 54:50Speaker 1: teacher's trying to explain the metaphor of something that was
- 54:52Speaker 1: written in 1942 and you're studying it in 1990 and
- 54:56Speaker 1: you're like, what? This is so fucking boring. And then
- 55:00Speaker 1: they talk about the stupid documentary that she's doing, the
- 55:03Speaker 1: boring documentary that Lisa's doing. And you know, this is
- 55:07Speaker 1: how meticulous we are. Every screen on there is an
- 55:11Speaker 1: actual woman that is an African-American woman that did something great.
- 55:15Speaker 1: So while we're doing this, we are that meticulous about
- 55:18Speaker 1: we are keeping the background of this documentary actually in truth.
- 55:23Speaker 1: And I'm like, so you care about that, but you
- 55:24Speaker 1: don't care that a character died already, came back to
- 55:28Speaker 1: life to go to dinner, and then died again. Like,
- 55:30Speaker 1: you don't care.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Do you really think they missed it?
- 55:33Speaker 4: Yes.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I really do. I think they just were like, we
- 55:36Speaker 1: should have a funeral scene and then someone was like,
- 55:38Speaker 1: it should be Lisa because I have this idea and
- 55:40Speaker 1: they're like, okay, great. Because they talk about how they
- 55:42Speaker 1: pitch stuff and then they're like, oh, and then the
- 55:44Speaker 1: one girl goes, I have a great backstory for this
- 55:47Speaker 1: other character. And they're like, you with your back. I'm like,
- 55:50Speaker 1: everyone should have a backstory. And then they're like, and
- 55:52Speaker 1: then at the very end, Aiden's pants are split because
- 55:57Speaker 1: he wanted to go to the funeral and he didn't
- 55:59Speaker 1: have time to get a suit. So the big and
- 56:01Speaker 1: tall store were closed. So we wore these tiny outfits.
- 56:04Speaker 1: And they're like, and this is where it's screwball comedy, people.
- 56:07Speaker 1: And they're like, I'm like, this is not funny. And
- 56:10Speaker 1: then his pants split and then Carrie has to walk
- 56:13Speaker 1: behind him, which is from an old Groucho Marx movie.
- 56:16Speaker 1: I was like, oh my God. But I was like,
- 56:19Speaker 1: that's it. It's just not funny. Of course, me, I'm like,
- 56:23Speaker 1: the dad died two days ago and they have a
- 56:25Speaker 1: funeral and we all have buried people. If you're going
- 56:29Speaker 1: to go do cremation, it takes like two weeks.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Oh, it does.
- 56:34Speaker 1: It takes a longer time. This isn't a Jewish burial
- 56:36Speaker 1: where you like get them in three days. It actually
- 56:38Speaker 1: takes a long time. Yeah. It actually takes them a
- 56:41Speaker 1: long time. And I'm like, but whatever. Like he couldn't
- 56:44Speaker 1: have time to get a suit. It's just like, they're like,
- 56:46Speaker 1: and then we see Seema and her shoes are uncomfortable.
- 56:50Speaker 1: She wore the wrong shoes. And we see, and I'm like, they,
- 56:55Speaker 1: so I want to say to the writers, you deserve
- 56:59Speaker 1: to have this fun. Do it. It's for you. If
- 57:02Speaker 1: we're going to continue to watch it, you are giving
- 57:04Speaker 1: me shit to talk about. But now that I've cracked
- 57:06Speaker 1: the code, I'm afraid I'm not going to have as
- 57:09Speaker 1: much hatred for it because I know.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Because you know who's writing it now.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Because I know who's writing it. And it's my old
- 57:14Speaker 1: English teacher.
- 57:14Speaker 2: I can't wait to watch the next four episodes.
- 57:19Speaker 3: So that's like.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I have given them many tips of how to make
- 57:22Speaker 1: it juicy. They're not out to make it juicy.
- 57:24Speaker 2: No, they're not.
- 57:25Speaker 1: They're out to make it this metaphoric, like, old-fashioned writing
- 57:29Speaker 1: English something.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Because last season it was terrible. It's the same kind
- 57:32Speaker 2: of tone. It's even worse, they say, people say now.
- 57:34Speaker 3: But, like, fix it.
- 57:37Speaker 2: They don't want to.
- 57:37Speaker 1: They don't want to fix it. No. Because they're not,
- 57:39Speaker 1: they're clearly not listening to any of the critics.
- 57:42Speaker 6: No.
- 57:42Speaker 1: They are playing with their cats and they're, you know,
- 57:45Speaker 1: going into an antique store. They don't care what we think.
- 57:49Speaker 1: This show was not for us. It's for them. And
- 57:52Speaker 1: they're having a blast. And it also makes sense because
- 57:56Speaker 1: the podcast is also equally lame. I'm like, that's why
- 57:59Speaker 1: they were so shitty about her podcast career. because they
- 58:02Speaker 1: don't understand what podcasting is, and they don't understand how
- 58:05Speaker 1: boring that podcast was, when Shea Diaz would be like, oh, hi,
- 58:09Speaker 1: and I'm the non-baron, and said a million words, and
- 58:12Speaker 1: you're the straight girl, And Carrie would be like– and
- 58:16Speaker 1: then because she does a new one ad, the whole
- 58:18Speaker 1: place shuts down. And because Seema doesn't work at her
- 58:23Speaker 1: real estate firm now, now she's broke. Because Che Diaz-Pilot
- 58:27Speaker 1: didn't take– now she lives in her abuela's basement and
- 58:31Speaker 1: works as a receptionist, as a vet, not even doing
- 58:33Speaker 1: stand-up again. Like it's so weird that once someone loses
- 58:36Speaker 1: a job, they're just poor.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Poor, I know.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:39Speaker 1: And they never addressed. There's so many things. Who cares?
- 58:41Speaker 1: I've talked about too much. I'm letting you guys know.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Just let these people have their fun. The show is
- 58:47Speaker 1: not for you. It's for them. It's for Michael Patrick
- 58:49Speaker 1: King and his friends.
- 58:51Speaker 2: But we'll keep watching, of course.
- 58:52Speaker 1: But we'll keep watching.
- 58:53Speaker 2: This is juicy.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston is sparking dating rumors with hypnotist Jim Curtis.
- 59:01Speaker 1: They went to Mallorca. She was seen introducing him to
- 59:05Speaker 1: Jason Bateman and his wife, who are old friends of hers.
- 59:08Speaker 2: He's cute. So cute.
- 59:11Speaker 1: People did a deep dive. She liked a bunch of
- 59:13Speaker 1: his posts all the way back until May. Liked his book.
- 59:17Speaker 1: He's a hypnotist slash coach. Grifter. Grifter.
- 59:22Speaker 2: He's a graft. Do you think so? I don't know. Hypnotist.
- 59:24Speaker 2: He's pretty like.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Who cares?
- 59:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but he does those lovely quotes and stuff like
- 59:29Speaker 2: that on Instagram.
- 59:30Speaker 1: It can't hurt. It can't hurt.
- 59:32Speaker 3: He's so cute, though.
- 59:33Speaker 1: It can't hurt. I'm fine.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Maybe he's super calming and stuff.
- 59:38Speaker 1: She liked a quote that said something like, or he
- 59:42Speaker 1: did a video that's like, let me give you some affirmations. Like,
- 59:45Speaker 1: you deserve to be loved. How you were treated in
- 59:48Speaker 1: the past won't treat, won't affect the next person who
- 59:50Speaker 1: treats you. So for someone like Jennifer Aniston, whose husband,
- 59:55Speaker 1: you know, Brad Pitt cheated on her in front of
- 59:58Speaker 1: her face with Angelina Jolie.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Was in front of her face?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Pretty much. She went up to Angelina Jolie and was like,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I'm so excited. He's so excited about doing Mr. And Mrs.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Smith with you and dah, dah, dah, dah. And I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: know from a very good source that Angelina Jolie would
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: like literally call the house. and asked to talk to him,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: and she still was like, she did not think anything
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: was going on. She had to let him think he
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: was an interior designer, an architect. She had to let
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: him think that he was a jewelry designer who designed
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the ugliest ring for her. She played along all the time.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Then she gets Justin Theroux, and now both those guys
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: are with 30-year-olds, and she's hot and great, so let
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: here have a life coach slash hypnotist. He's age appropriate.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: He's cute.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Who cares? She's not looking to have a child.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Thank God.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: We're not going to do that story again. I don't
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: think she's looking to get married. I don't think she's looking. Um,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: like I have a friend who's dating someone who's significantly
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: younger and her friend and so, you know, and she said,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you know, someone said to me, Oh, but you know, what's,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he's going to leave you. And, and you know, when
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you get older and she goes, so what? She's like,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: so what? I've had my kids. I have my own money.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: There's no way he can take my money. We're smart
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: about the money. He's fucking hot. He's a delight. He's smart.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I'm having fun.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Yeah, if it doesn't last forever, who the fuck cares?
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Would I rather have some old crusty person my age?
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Who cares? So I'm like, who cares? Just go for
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it and have fun. When you get to a certain age,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: as a woman, it is nice. It's one of the
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: nicest thing God did for us is that we cannot
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: get knocked up after 50.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: We cannot, but a guy can, a guy can get
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: a young girl.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Sure.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Yeah. And she can say, I don't want kids and
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: this and that. And, oh, I just love, you know,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I love being a 30 year old with 25 year
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: old stepkids. I love it. And then she gets to
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: be 32 and she's like, if you don't let me
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: have one kid, I'm leaving.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: So he goes, fine.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: And she's like, oh, I'll take care of the kid myself.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: And sure enough, He has sunstroke in Orlando, walking around
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: with a knee brace, pushing that kid, while his 55-year-old
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: divorcee wife is in Mallorca having a blast.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: And the wife is like, that's your karma.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I don't want to do... None of my friends are like,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: you know what I wish? I wish I could get
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: pregnant again.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: No, we don't.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: No way. So I say, good for her. And as
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston, I would say, you know what? I am great.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: I am good.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: He is fun. He takes a little watch and goes
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: like this in front of my face, and I fall
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: asleep like a baby. And we write. He tells me
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: an inspirational quote. He gives me inspirational quotes and gives
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: me a nice hot cup of coffee and a dry margarita.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: And we are good. We are great. We are with Jason.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: I call him J.J. Bateman. No, I don't know what
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: he calls him.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: J.J.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Bateman.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: They're old friends. So good for her. Okay. The Bezos Wedding.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I came across such an interesting thing. This is just
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: that her sister was sharing intimate scenes. Yeah, if you're
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: the sister of Lauren Sanchez, you better.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: That's her sister?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Behind her. Doesn't look anything like her.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Looks like a daughter.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: You know, maybe that is her daughter. I don't know,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: but the.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Lauren Sanchez's sister gave a glimpse inside the jargon.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: You know, sometimes they do that where they don't match the...
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: But anyway, it could be half-sister. It could be whatever.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Who knows?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: But I did... I don't know if you caught this, but...
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Because I don't have the photo in front of me.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: But maybe we can throw it up in post. But
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: people are freaking out that in the photo that was
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: used for Vogue where she's in her traditional dress and
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: hunched over. She does have the most banging body for
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: a dress. Big boot, tiny waist, nice ass. And, you know,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: and leaning over and he's holding his hand and they're,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you know, mid-laugh like we tried to do.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Oh, my God, yes.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: When we were at our party, it was you, me.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Zach, Brandy, Julie.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Megan. Megan. Megan Weaver. And we were like, we have
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: to do this thing where you kind of do like
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: a pony hop.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: It's like a viral thing people are doing.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Yeah, if you all do a pony hop together and
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: someone films it or even does stills, you will get
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: that natural effect.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I'll send you the photograph. You can put it up.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: So you can see the result of it.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: No, I'm all blurry.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: You're blurry.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Like you can kind of see half a Megan. It's like,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: it's terrible.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: We did it nine times.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I know. Anyway, it was okay. So it was funny. Um, anyway,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: the carpet after there there's carpet.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Outdoor wedding. That is a gray industrial carpet that you
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: would have had at a Xerox company. From 1985.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: It's like FedEx Kinko. It's like that kind of gray.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: It is.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Industrial gray, ugly carpet. And there's people that are like,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: is this a conspiracy theory? Did this wedding even happen?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Why this ugly carpet? What's going on?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: I'm thinking.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Maybe the carpet thing was a last-minute thought because they
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: were like, oh, shit, this is old, gravelly ground. And, like,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: people are going to trip and fall. And no one
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: thought about how ugly it was. The carpet thing is
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: very strange. The other part is there were videos and
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: photos of her getting ready in the traditional gown that
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: she put out there that didn't match the actual gown. Like,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: the buttons... went all the way up to the top
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: or they did, I don't know. It's kind of a region.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Even if it was a different dress or they photoshopped shit.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I mean, people didn't think that Britney's wedding happened.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: That was so funny, that whole conspiracy thing. It was like,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: was she even in the room kind of like, but
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: they're all like singing like, Papa don't preach or whatever
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: it is with Madonna and stuff.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I just remember people were so fascinated because she'd always
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: wear this like choker.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: And I remember there was like an old childhood like,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: scary book that my sister and I are about where
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: this woman always wanted to wear the choker and the
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: husband was like, why don't you take off the choker?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Why don't you take off the choker?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: And so then one day he's like, I'm taking off
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: that choker while she was sleeping and he took it
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: off and her head rolled. So I was like, what
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: are you saying? This is like a robot and they
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: thought it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Was some- So it's a thin line that they can
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: just put the head on?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: They thought it was that. They thought none of these
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: people really went. And no, I mean, I had Sam.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: It was the most bizarre thing. But did you ask?
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: But she came right to Sam, right?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I know from Sam and I also know from somebody
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: else whose kid knows one of the kids. And it
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: absolutely did happen.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Of course, yeah.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: The wedding absolutely did happen.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: It just was a bit bizarre.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: But it was when you, like, slow-mo and all that
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: kind of stuff.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, because the arm was kind of, like, fuzzy.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I remember that. And also in these photos that were, like,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: used for, like, Vogue and stuff with the weird industrial carpet, there's, like,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a chair, a bottom of a chair leg missing and
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: things like that, which I'm like, that just could, listen,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: people and jobs are lazy. And sometimes people just make mistakes.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Sometimes things aren't as planned out as you think.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: It's so crazy.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: They would hire the best Photoshop people to do this
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: and they would miss shit like that. Or that's why.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: They're saying they think it's something more.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: But whatever.
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: I mean.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: But all the people went there. We saw all the
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: celebrities there. Like it obviously happened.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: And some people are like.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Getting on boats and shit.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Some people are like, why are you defending that? I'm like,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I'm not defending them.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: I'm saying if I got invited, I'd fucking go.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: And so would you. So would you, Rosie O'Donnell. So
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: would you, Katie Couric. So would you, Olivia Munn. You'd
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: all would have fucking gone.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: To be in a room with all those people just
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: to like see it and experience it.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Of course.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Just for the Patreon.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Then I'd start a Patreon.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Yeah. What do you think is going on with Kelly Clarkson?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Okay. Something's going on because her excuse just doesn't, it
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: doesn't like that girl can sing.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: She's well able to sing. She can do anything.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: She does it daily on her talk show. She sings
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: a new track and she has to prep for it.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: It was really strange. So she was supposed to start
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: her residency like last week or two weeks ago, like
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: two o'clock the day of the show.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: She pulled an Adele.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: And said, well, now Adele, when Adele did it, she
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: just said, the show's just not ready.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: And I'm a perfectionist. It's not ready.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: I kind of believed it too. And then with her,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: she just said, my voice is not there. Now I
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: kind of, listen, the stakes are so high. And if
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: she really was like not at her best, you don't
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: want to debut it. And she probably thought, you know what?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: All the people that got off work and did all that,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: that were mad at Adele, they forgave her and she
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: went and had a great residency. So you know what
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I am going to do right by me? And I'm
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: just going to postpone it a week. Now, do you
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: think she is getting rid of her talk show when
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: it expires in 2026?
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: No, because people like it. Unless she doesn't want to
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: do it.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: No, it would not. It would be she has to
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: get rid of it.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: It's so popular. It depends what she prefers doing. Was
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: there rumors that she kind of was like stressed out
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: doing it?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I think that she feels like she can't be the
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: mom she wants to be, even though they'll accommodate her
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: in every way. You're still not. You still have to
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: be there every day and you still And so that's
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: the only thing I was thinking, like, either it moves
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: to Nashville or something. Or if she really likes the
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Vegas thing, maybe she will do what Celine Dion did.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: When Celine Dion was in Vegas for so long, though,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: she was, like, able to, like, totally be a hands-on mom.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: It just takes me back. When you say her name,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: it just takes me back to Chelsea. And it was, like,
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: one of the first times I saw Heather on Chelsea
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: years and years ago. And you would do Celine Dion,
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: and it was the funniest thing. It was my favorite
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: character you would do.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: I haven't done her in so long, so I'm not
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: even going to try. But anyway, she got the big mansion.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: She had the three boys, the twins and the older one,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: and they were able to have their Vegas life. So
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I'm like, I think she's testing this out. And if
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: it goes great and she loves it, maybe she will
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: just do that and raise them in Vegas. Yes. And
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: be able to like.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: Be around in the day. Do you think she can
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: go as long as Celine?
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, she sings.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: She could do five years easily.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Yeah. And she sings every, because you think every song
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: and then she's entertaining in between. I think so. Because
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: she does other people's songs.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Or she does little stints and then they work the
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: show around. I think moving the show to Nashville would
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: be great.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: She could bring surprise guests that would come.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Because you can do a talk show. Like I've heard
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: they do a talk show sometimes, like depends on the talent.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: but they can, you know, you shoot a week's worth
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: of show in like three days and then you're off
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: for like five.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: No, but this is every day. So it has to be,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: even if she didn't, there could be one day that
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: you do, when I would do like Wendy, there'd be
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: one day and Chelsea, we would do Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: would be two shows. So the second show would be Thursday.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: And Friday would be a repeat. Her shows are five
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: days a week, so they have to come up with five.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: And double date, I mean, even though she's not, it
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: is exhausting. And it is taking away from her kid.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: So that's what I think is going on. Also, I
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: just think she loves being skinny. Sorry to say it.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: She's skinny now.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: She's skinny. And so she has a whole new perspective
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: on life. And she just might be like, I want
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: to have some fucking fun with my new bod.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: And she's single, right, now?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: She's single.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe Vegas is.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: The place for her.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Or she just lost a zest for life because
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: she's taking those shots. And she's not excited to go
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to restaurants.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: She's not excited to do anything.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: That happens too.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: She's going to have to come off that sooner or later.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: Then you blow it back up.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: We'll see. I thought this was so interesting.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Like, I saw it a few weeks ago.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: And I just was like, I don't believe any of this.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I don't know if this is real.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: What, the Kind Science?
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Is it a real company?
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Ellen and Portia are doing a skincare company, according to this,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: called Kind Science. But because there's so much fake news,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I don't know if someone just put this together.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: No. I saw the commercial. Oh, you literally saw the commercial?
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: I literally saw the commercial.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: So it's their company for skincare? Correct. Correct.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I don't want to be a bitch.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: I think it came out like three or four years ago.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: It's not just recent. But she's in London now. They're
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: running the commercial.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: She's in London. I know.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: And everyone hates her, so we're not buying it.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: And also, it's called kind science. Because remember, that's what
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: she was saying.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Be kind.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Be kind.
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: Be kind.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Have you watched the commercial?
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: No.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: What is it? It's beyond cringe. Tell.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Tell.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: She's like this, you know, and we're like that. Yeah,
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: we're kind and stuff like that. And I'm like, I
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: don't believe a fucking thing you say. You know what
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I mean? Like that.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: Like, I was just like.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Just after everything that happened with her, it's so disappointing.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Also, I don't think she's someone, like, J-Lo has good skin, okay?
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: J-Lo has good skin. So when she has a skincare line,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: you're kind of like, okay, I want to get that
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: J-Lo glow. I don't think we associate Ellen with glowy,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: glowy skin.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: Sorry, two lesbians selling skincare.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Well, Portia has, Portia's really pretty. But I'm saying Ellen,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: it's like, it should have just been Portia's thing.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: And then maybe like Porsche's in the house and like
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Ellen's in the background making coffee.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I don't know. It's also like, why do you need
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: this product? Like she had so many side gigs. She
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: had interior design.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: American Express was a huge one.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: And she was, when she had her show, she was
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: always trying, there was stories of where she'd find talent
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and try to get them going, and then when it
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: didn't go, the kid was bitter, and I was like, okay,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: I'm a little on your side. That's okay. If he
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: didn't pop, he didn't pop.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: That's not your fault. That's not her fault. She thought you.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Were going to be the next Justin Bieber, and you weren't.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: But I just thought this was kind of funny.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: I don't know what she's doing.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Okay, speaking of Justin Bieber.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: What's going on with him now?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: He was posting over the weekend of just him smoking
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: joints with a bunch of losers. And then somebody wrote
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: under there, imagine being in your 30s thinking it's cool
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: to post pictures of you smoking a blunt. But then
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: he did post a photo of him kind of with
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: his kid, changing the kid or whatever, not showing its parts,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: but just, I don't know, rolling him around. And then
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: hugging Hailey Bieber or whatever. I don't know what is
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: going on with him, but he'll do a weird photo
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: of just his nostrils.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: I don't know what... I feel bad for him. I just,
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: I don't know how I feel about that. And the whole.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Like, why are you just like, look at that. This
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: is just like every loser. And this is what you post. Like,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: it's fine if you're doing it. But why are you thinking?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: That's cool with the table. It's not even like a clean,
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: like if you're in like a nice kitchen, like with
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: a thing or like, you know, like Luann smokes a cigarette,
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: like walking down the street sometimes. Like if like that
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: would be fine. Like if he was on the side
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: of the street, just having a little like puff. Like,
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: I'm OK. Like this is like dirty.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I know there were eight of them, too. It was
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: a slideshow and none of them were different than the other. Like, honestly,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: like you're putting this like and you can't like when
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: people do slideshows of them in the same outfit. It's like, OK,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: like Gretchen Rossi just can't decide which is a cuter photo.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: but they're like barely different.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: I did that once in Sicily, like outside the Four
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Seasons Hotel because I had to because there were three
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: good shots.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: I was like, I'm in the same offer.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Outside, bar, outside.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: It's literally like killing your own children. You're like, I'm
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: so gorgeous in all three of these photos. I can't decide.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: And I just needed the world to see one where
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I'm slightly turned to the left, one where I'm slightly
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: turned to the right, one where I'm like, It's fine.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: You have the right to do that.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: But this was eight photos of just blood smoking with
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: guys that we don't know who they are. And I
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: don't know. People are like, when did he turn into
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Britney Spears? I don't know. But it makes me sad
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: because he, Britney Spears, and Amanda Bynes, all child stars.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: It's really sad.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: All had to work so young. Couldn't say no to anything.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: And supporting families and everything else. And he's not bringing
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: out new music. And he's so talented.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: And I don't know what's going on with him.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: He was, like, clean for a long time. And he
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: used to go to that church, that mosaic church there
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: on Hollywood and La Brea there. And, like, I remember
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: my friend used to go. He's like, Justin goes every week.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: And I'm like, really?
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: And, like, that's crazy.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: So, like, he went through this whole, like, spiritual thing.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: And I guess he just fell off it.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Yeah, he does not talk about church anymore. No.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: He was super into it.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: It was that church, but then there was also the
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Hillsong Church.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: There was one in, I think it was in the
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Montage in Beverly Hills that my friend Matthew took me
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: one day. I was like, where is it? He's like, oh,
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: it's in the Montage downstairs in the room.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh, it's kind of fancy. Yeah. He's like, oh,
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: the celebrities go. And I'm like, okay.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I was always like, could, when I was trying to
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: make it, I was always thinking like, what could help me?
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: I was thinking.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Scientology.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Scientology, AA meetings. Like I remember someone's like, the AA
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: meeting to go to is the one on Robertson.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: All the agents are there.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: The cabin.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: All the agents are there. And I was like, what
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: if I went? and just did a comedy routine there,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: then they would see me.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: You go up and you're like, hi, I'm Heather McDonald.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I'm an alcoholic, and then I do a whole bit
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: about my fucked up family or whatever. That would be
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: so fucking funny. And just try to get anyone to
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: see me.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: That would be a really funny thing in a comedy show,
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: in a Curb Your Enthusiasm kind of thing.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: That would be so fucking funny.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Well, I remember that I thought maybe Luann was doing that.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Remember when Luann was going to AA meetings and she
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: took Sonya to it? And they were in Miami. And
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: then Sonya was like, I mean, it was really sad. Like,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I don't want to see these people on my vacation.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: They were like, they smell.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: And everyone was just smoking cigarettes. Why did she bring
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: me there? And I'm like, she brought you there because
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: she's practicing her comedy routine in between her bits of
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: her cabaret show.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: Oh, God. Did I tell you? She was like, she's like, oh, darling,
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: so go stew.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Like, whatever. You know what I mean?
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: I was like, have you seen the show before? I'm like, Luann,
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: this is my fifth time coming. She's like, you're so
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: good to support me.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I can buy myself flowers. Oh my God. I went
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: and did karaoke recently and I was like, I have
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: so much more respect for Luann and Tom Sandoval because
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I did one song of Miley Cyrus and I was
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: like exhausted. It went on way too fucking long. Speaking
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: of which, okay, I don't know if you saw this.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I came across it last night. Alex Cooper, you know,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: biggest podcast, Call Her Daddy. She got asked to sing
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Take Me Out to the Ball Game at a Chicago
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Cubs game.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Okay, cute.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: And, you know, so it's not the national anthem. They
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: have famous people do it. They play it during the
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: seventh inning stretch. Celebrities have done it. So they asked
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: her to do it. So they're like, and now from
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Call Her Daddy, you know, Alex, Cooper. And so they
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: have her like up in the rafters doing it. And
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: she's got two friends with sunglasses like being her sidekicks
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: or whatever. And she did this like weird voice of like,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: take me out to the ballgame. Anyway, immediately people start booing.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: Oh, shit. I.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: want to say I really felt for her because she's
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: not a stand-up. It did not... It wasn't being well-received.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: But now you're stuck in this song. You've got to
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: fucking finish it. Runtime Roseanne Barr got asked to do
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: the national anthem, and been, she was bombing. So, you know,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: bombing cause she's not a singer and she always had
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: that voice. And so then to finish up the joke,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: she grabbed her balls and spit like a baseball player
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: would do to spit out, you know, and then people
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: were like all over, you know, national choir, like she's
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: so disrespectful. She's, she's an awful person, you know? And
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: I was like, no, she was a comic. She was
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: a comedian doing a song that now you can't just
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: like stop the song. You can't just go, okay guys,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: that sucks. Like it's a weird moment. And Alex was
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: in front of the crowd. She was like in the
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: back and she could tell like it wasn't going well,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: but she was kind of like laughing, trying to get
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: through it. And then someone brought up the fact that
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Theo Vaughn did the exact same thing, did the same
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: weird voice and everyone loved it. And I'm like, it
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: is such a woman thing. Like, it is such a woman...
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: It's like, she bombed. It happened.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: They asked her to do it.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Just because it's hard to be a woman, it's like, yeah,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: that bit didn't work. Like, all I know is the
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: only thing I've ever been asked to do is, like,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: throw a pitch or whatever. And I'm horrible at pitching.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: So I knew it wouldn't go far.
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: And then that would be the end of it. But
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: when I've had people... I made the mistake of someone saying,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: would you like to like sing at my wedding or whatever?
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: But you do it though. Like you've done it with us.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: I've seen you at parties. You're fun when you do it,
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: like with a piano and stuff.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I did it when it's fun and it's, and people
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: are expecting it.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Like we're people weren't expecting Alex Cooper to sing. So
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: even when people ask me to like, Hey, would you,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: you know, do this charity event and you stand up, whatever.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: And I'll say, I've done it enough to know I
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: can MC the event. I can say one liners. I
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: can be funny. I can move it. But the people
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: coming to your event are not expecting to see 25
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: minutes of a standup that they might not be familiar with.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I'm not Jerry Seinfeld.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: So like let, before you get all excited and think
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: this is going to be the event of the year,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: it's not like they're going to be like, what the
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: fuck was that? You know, like, so it's like, no,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: you hate. So anyway.
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: Like keep it tight.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Or whatever Alex Cooper I feel for you of course
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you got asked to do it you're not a singer
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: you thought it would be kind of funny maybe you
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: saw the Theo Vantha thing and saw how well it
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: was received.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: That's what probably I would do but welcome.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: To being a female comic which you're not you're great
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: at what you do you're obviously built a huge empire
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: and you're not even 30 yet it's great but of
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: course people are going to be so excited that something
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: she did failed because she's so young and successful that
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: you know And yeah, so I, now I'm, I know
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: now when people ask me, would you do that? I
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: know what, what I can pull off, what could be
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: well received, how to get out of it when, when
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: you're bombing and you cannot get out of a bombing song.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: And I've been lobbying for all karaoke songs to be
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: cut down to two minutes. Yeah. No, no care. No,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: we do not need the instrument and you want to
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: end it. Your friends want it to end. Yeah.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: Even if you're like, even if it's really good, like
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: you still like don't want to listen for four and
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: a half minutes or four, you know what I mean?
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: And it's always kind of sad when you see the
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: person that's like, you go to the karaoke place and
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: like they go every Wednesday.
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: They are good.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: And you're like, what was this person's life like to
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: know that they are just, like, running the roost at this, like,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: karaoke place?
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: I used to live up in Napa Valley when I
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: first moved to America. And there was a bar called Anna's.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: And they had karaoke every, like, Thursday night. And the
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: same woman. I actually kind of liked her because we
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: all laughed at her. We all, like, laughed at her because, like,
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: she'd be like, tell me something good. And she'd be like, wah! Like,
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: she'd do this, like, crazy scream.
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: And it was every week.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: And just like she, and just like that. She's doing
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: it for herself.
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: She deserves to do it.
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: She's not hurting anybody. She's good. It's not for you.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: It's for her.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Just like the writers of a just like that.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: It's for them.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: It is not for us. Just because you're watching it
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: and they're going to, they are not. Yeah. I'm entertaining you,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: but I also do enjoy what I do, but this
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: is for you. Okay.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: Stu, I'm going to wrap it up.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I'm so glad that you're here. You're so funny. I
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: do want you to teach me how to make some food.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: I want you to come out to my new house.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: We're going to put it on the calendar before you leave.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: And we're going to spend some time in the Hamptons together.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: And you have a great podcast as well. So tell
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: them where they can find it.
