- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven to ten or boy, the Mark Simoon Show.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Start now. Now, Hey, we're now three hours nine to
- 0:11Speaker 1: noon every day. Is this week two of this? No,
- 0:16Speaker 1: it's week three, Week three of this. All right, I'm
- 0:19Speaker 1: getting used to it. I'm getting used. It's like, if
- 0:20Speaker 1: you can do twenty push ups, no problem. Fifty is
- 0:24Speaker 1: a struggle. But if you keep doing it after a while,
- 0:26Speaker 1: fifty push ups nothing. So three hours, we're getting used
- 0:30Speaker 1: to it. Hey, a lot to get to. We'll get
- 0:33Speaker 1: to Florida. This is fascinating stuff. The Primary tells us
- 0:37Speaker 1: a lot. We'll get to. Hey, the Carnegie Delli. The
- 0:39Speaker 1: rumor is true, it's coming back. We'll give you the details.
- 0:44Speaker 1: We'll get to ABC their lawsuit. ABC Disney is suing
- 0:49Speaker 1: the Trump administration. But they've had to reveal some stuff
- 0:52Speaker 1: in that lawsuit that's not so good. We'll get that
- 0:55Speaker 1: crazy John assaf he's getting even crazier, and Hokel has
- 0:59Speaker 1: caved and finally agreed to debate Bruce Blakeman. But there's
- 1:03Speaker 1: a bit of a catch to it. We'll get to
- 1:04Speaker 1: all of that coming up. So last night, Florida. This
- 1:09Speaker 1: is the most interesting part of this Primary stuff. Florida.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You got you know, you're very lucky in Florida, really lucky.
- 1:17Speaker 1: You're gonna have Byron Donalds will be your next governor.
- 1:20Speaker 1: He won big in the primary last night. Now that
- 1:24Speaker 1: means you've had three great governors in a row. That's
- 1:27Speaker 1: not an easy thing to do. Very few states can
- 1:30Speaker 1: pull that off. You had Rick Scott, you had DeSantis,
- 1:33Speaker 1: and now you're gonna have Byron Donalds. That's one reason
- 1:36Speaker 1: Florida is booming and so successful. Three great governors in
- 1:41Speaker 1: a row. Byron Donald's big win last night. Because of
- 1:46Speaker 1: your sweats, because of your hard work, we have won
- 1:50Speaker 1: a massive victory. Yeah. He's a great guy and it's
- 1:56Speaker 1: quite a story. He came to Florida with absolutely nothing,
- 1:59Speaker 1: he and his wife, and they just struggled and worked
- 2:02Speaker 1: there tails off and just made something of themselves. Then
- 2:05Speaker 1: they went out of great careers in the private sector,
- 2:08Speaker 1: and then he got into politics and he's going to
- 2:11Speaker 1: be the next governor of Florida. That's a big, huge victory,
- 2:15Speaker 1: not just for him but for Florida as well. The
- 2:18Speaker 1: last time a Democrat was governor of Florida was nineteen
- 2:22Speaker 1: ninety nine. Buddy McKay you remember him. Lawton Shiles was
- 2:28Speaker 1: the last Democrat before that. So you got to go
- 2:30Speaker 1: back to the nineties. It's been twenty five years of
- 2:33Speaker 1: great governors, Republicans who just made the state boom economically
- 2:38Speaker 1: and just grow like crazy. Now there's some other interesting
- 2:42Speaker 1: stuff in Florida. Well, first, a lot of these incumbents
- 2:44Speaker 1: got back in. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, you remember her. Jared
- 2:50Speaker 1: Moscowitz got back in. Do you remember Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
- 2:54Speaker 1: She was the Adam Schiff of her day. If you
- 2:57Speaker 1: went back twenty years ago, she was the Democrat that
- 3:00Speaker 1: was on all the Sunday shows. She was the Democrat
- 3:03Speaker 1: on MSNBC and CNN every two seconds. She was the
- 3:07Speaker 1: pitbull going after Trump. Now it's Adam Schiff and Roe Connor.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Boy that that Tebbie Washerman Shult. She must watch these
- 3:14Speaker 1: Sunday shows and how are they on? Why don't they
- 3:17Speaker 1: call me anymore? But she got re elected governor, not governor,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but to Congress in Florida. She's from Long Beach originally
- 3:26Speaker 1: was actually a New Yorker as if you can't tell.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And Jared Moskowitz got back in, and Randy Fine got
- 3:33Speaker 1: back in Now, this was an interesting race. Fine was
- 3:37Speaker 1: running against that nut job, that white supremacist, Nazi, crazy
- 3:42Speaker 1: Dan Bilzarian, huge Instagram star, thirty million followers, but he
- 3:49Speaker 1: goes into politics and it was unbelievable. I mean, was
- 3:53Speaker 1: a lot of these antisemitic candidates, but this guy was
- 3:56Speaker 1: so open about it. You never, I mean, is shocking
- 4:01Speaker 1: that he'd be that open about it. And he's running
- 4:03Speaker 1: in Florida with a heavy Jewish population, but he's running
- 4:06Speaker 1: against Fine. He calls him a fat Jew, a shylock,
- 4:10Speaker 1: a satanic whore, says we should revisit Hitler's theory. I mean,
- 4:14Speaker 1: it was just absolute, insane, crazy, anti semitic, over the top.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I mean, hopefully he's run out of the state. He's
- 4:25Speaker 1: he really kind of lives in Las Vegas, but he
- 4:26Speaker 1: just visits Florida now and was born there originally. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: hopefully he's gone. So Moscow it's won over there. He
- 4:34Speaker 1: beat a socialist. They put a socialist up against him,
- 4:38Speaker 1: and moscowit's one. Now. The interesting thing is Angie Nixon one.
- 4:44Speaker 1: She is a crazy democrat socialist, I mean, a real
- 4:49Speaker 1: wacko left wing democrat socialist, and she won in her primary.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Now this is for Congress. Republicans consider this a gift
- 5:01Speaker 1: because she'll be very, very very easy to beat. Her
- 5:05Speaker 1: name is Angie Nixon. Did you ever think it's hee
- 5:09Speaker 1: Democrats vote for a Nixon, But it happened. And she's
- 5:13Speaker 1: a crazy socialist about to tear down capitalism and heat
- 5:18Speaker 1: the rich and all that shut down organized people beat
- 5:25Speaker 1: big Yeah, well what she's talking about. And this is
- 5:31Speaker 1: the reason she won. She was running against the worst
- 5:34Speaker 1: creep in the world, this Alexander Vinman. Do you remember him.
- 5:38Speaker 1: He was the pawn in that fake impeachment of Donald Trump.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Remember they paraded this guy around as if he was
- 5:46Speaker 1: some sort of foreign policy expert. It was the dumbest
- 5:49Speaker 1: impeachment attempt ever. The President Trump, newly in office, gets
- 5:55Speaker 1: on the phone with Zelensky of Ukraine. Now this is
- 5:59Speaker 1: before the war, but for Russia invaded, before Zelenski became
- 6:02Speaker 1: a hero, was just Zelensky of Ukraine. And that's where
- 6:06Speaker 1: Biden had an Hunter. Joe and Hunter had all these
- 6:09Speaker 1: shady dealings. And on the phone call, the President said,
- 6:14Speaker 1: you know, you ought to look into that. See you're
- 6:15Speaker 1: gonn to investigate that a little, which is a fine
- 6:18Speaker 1: thing to say. Nothing wrong with that. So they impeached
- 6:21Speaker 1: him over that that you're not supposed to say that
- 6:23Speaker 1: on a call. And then they brought in the foreign
- 6:26Speaker 1: policy expert from the White House, the absolute expert on
- 6:31Speaker 1: conducting foreign policy and these sort of phone calls. They
- 6:34Speaker 1: brought him in from the White House to testify. And
- 6:36Speaker 1: he came in like Jack Nicholson and a few good men,
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know, with the uniform and he had medals all
- 6:42Speaker 1: over his chest. And they didn't pull the car up
- 6:44Speaker 1: to the front for him to walk into the Capitol.
- 6:47Speaker 1: They stopped at a block away so that the press
- 6:50Speaker 1: would film him coming down the sidewalk with the metals
- 6:52Speaker 1: gleaming in the sunlight, this big military full dress uniform. Well,
- 6:57Speaker 1: it turns out this vinman is an absolutely nobody, has
- 7:01Speaker 1: nothing to do with anything. Doesn't even work in the
- 7:04Speaker 1: White House. He works in a cubicle in a building
- 7:07Speaker 1: like two blocks away. There's nothing to do with anything.
- 7:10Speaker 1: He's a minor below minor bureaucrat who has no expertise
- 7:15Speaker 1: on anything. And this guy starts going after the President
- 7:19Speaker 1: and the fake news. This is another example of just
- 7:22Speaker 1: a hoax where they conned you the fake News convinces
- 7:26Speaker 1: you this is the absolute authority when it comes to
- 7:30Speaker 1: conducting foreign policy. Is a key figure. He's an absolute nobody.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Didn't work in the White House, didn't even have an office.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He just worked in the cubicle. He's like just the
- 7:40Speaker 1: lowest bureaucrat. So but as a result, he became a superstar.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Even though his testimony meant nothing and it was stupid,
- 7:48Speaker 1: he became a superstar to the Trump hating Democrats back then.
- 7:53Speaker 1: They just couldn't get enough of him. He was the
- 7:55Speaker 1: toast of the Democratic town there. Remember Larry David even
- 7:58Speaker 1: featured him in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. So
- 8:02Speaker 1: he goes down to Florida a run against Angie Nixon
- 8:07Speaker 1: and the Democrats Hollywood. They love this Vinman so much.
- 8:10Speaker 1: They kept donating like crazy. So he outraised her sixteen
- 8:16Speaker 1: to one. He ended up with sixteen million. She had
- 8:19Speaker 1: one million, but she easily beat Vinman, just wiped him out,
- 8:23Speaker 1: probably because he's a sleezebag. He's just a dirty little bureaucrat,
- 8:27Speaker 1: a little, tiny little speck of the deep state. President
- 8:32Speaker 1: Trump was thrilled tweeting out last night, sleezebag Vinman loses tonight.
- 8:37Speaker 1: How cool is that? And loses to a radical left lunatic.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Now there is one lesson from all of this. Why
- 8:46Speaker 1: did Agnes Nixon win so big because of organizing? This
- 8:50Speaker 1: is what I always tell you about. The Republicans in
- 8:53Speaker 1: a lot of areas stink when it comes to campaign organizing.
- 8:57Speaker 1: New York is a perfect example. But Nixon had unbelievable organization.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I mean millions of volunteers working the phone banks, work
- 9:07Speaker 1: in the campaign. She acknowledged it was just she out
- 9:12Speaker 1: organized Vineman. He out spent her sixteen to one. She
- 9:15Speaker 1: out organized him. For your tirement's work, for the main nights,
- 9:22Speaker 1: the Tulp and cycless work. You embodied the statement organized, organized, organize. Yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 1: See that's the difference. Now in New York we have
- 9:34Speaker 1: a big problem. We don't have much of a party
- 9:37Speaker 1: that's organized, and they do in other states. Now in
- 9:42Speaker 1: New York we have all these clubs, the Women's Republican Club,
- 9:45Speaker 1: the Manhattan Republican Club, this Republican Club. But they don't
- 9:49Speaker 1: do anything. They invite a guest speaker. They just throw parties,
- 9:53Speaker 1: cocktail parties, book parties. They get a guest speaker, they
- 9:55Speaker 1: try to get somebody from Fox some conservative and then
- 9:58Speaker 1: it's a bunch of old ladies. All they do is
- 10:00Speaker 1: chase the person around the room trying to take a
- 10:02Speaker 1: selfie with them. So that's whole purpose of the club,
- 10:06Speaker 1: to get a selfie with Brian kill me the selfie
- 10:09Speaker 1: with Moranta Divine, put it up on their institute. It's
- 10:12Speaker 1: all they do there. So one thing that would help
- 10:15Speaker 1: close these clubs down. Just shut them down everybody in them.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Go out and work on a campaign, Go work a
- 10:22Speaker 1: phone bank, go knock on doors. That's what Democrats do
- 10:25Speaker 1: and that's why they win much bigger. So you got
- 10:30Speaker 1: four Republicans in Florida now set to take on Democrats
- 10:35Speaker 1: in districts that are really heavily GOP. So they should win.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And as far as that, Agnes Nixon running for Senate
- 10:41Speaker 1: in Florida state wide race. Remember, Florida has a big,
- 10:45Speaker 1: big Cuban population. These are Cubans. They're from Cuba. Yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 1: try to tell them how socialism is great. It's not
- 10:53Speaker 1: gonna work. Try to tell them socialism is wonderful. They're
- 10:57Speaker 1: gonna think you're absolutely nuts. Hey, this is interesting, Kathy Hochel,
- 11:03Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman is putting a lot of pressure on her
- 11:05Speaker 1: to debate. He wants three debates for debates, which is
- 11:09Speaker 1: the normal thing to do. Three debates. She's finally agreed
- 11:12Speaker 1: to one. Kathy Hockel says she'll debate, but the catches.
- 11:17Speaker 1: It's gonna be on New York One, Spectrum News in
- 11:21Speaker 1: New York One. Now, New York one has about three viewers.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Nobody sees it. That's one reason she's probably chosen New
- 11:28Speaker 1: York One. Also, New York One is the most biased,
- 11:31Speaker 1: left wing slanted place in the world. So but Blakeman's
- 11:37Speaker 1: a great debater. He's a lot smarter than Kathy Hockel.
- 11:39Speaker 1: He'll be able to out debate her on that. But again,
- 11:43Speaker 1: it's gonna be Spectrum News New York One, very tiny
- 11:47Speaker 1: viewership and very very slanted. Everybody that works there, all
- 11:52Speaker 1: those guys, and they're nice people. Hey, I worked there for
- 11:55Speaker 1: seventeen years, but it's a very slanted place. They all
- 12:00Speaker 1: left wing. I'm blanket out, and all the names of
- 12:03Speaker 1: those political guys they have extremely left wing. So it's
- 12:09Speaker 1: better than nothing. Probably in the first debate, Blakeman will
- 12:13Speaker 1: wipe her out. They'll use the clips all over the place,
- 12:15Speaker 1: that'll force her to try a second debate, just to
- 12:19Speaker 1: see what happens. Hey, speaking of these woke left wing,
- 12:22Speaker 1: crazy socialist politicians, you know one got elected in Seattle.
- 12:28Speaker 1: She's been the mayor of Seattle now, Katie Wilson, for
- 12:30Speaker 1: a while. They're now trying to recall her. There's a
- 12:34Speaker 1: recall going on. Millions of people signing this pian this
- 12:39Speaker 1: petition to get her out of office. She's now so
- 12:42Speaker 1: unpopular that the local TV station, left wing TV station,
- 12:47Speaker 1: went out in the street to get the people to
- 12:49Speaker 1: come on camera. They wanted somebody to defend her. They
- 12:53Speaker 1: couldn't find anybody. They couldn't find one person to defend
- 12:56Speaker 1: her on camera. Hey, the Carnegie Deli is coming back.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It is coming back. Take a look at my Instagram
- 13:05Speaker 1: you can see it. The picture was taken yesterday of
- 13:07Speaker 1: the new place under construction. Now, the old Carnegie Deli
- 13:11Speaker 1: was at fifty fifth and seventh. The new Carnegie Deli
- 13:18Speaker 1: it was a block away and strangely, oddly ironically enough,
- 13:23Speaker 1: it's gonna be in a location that used to be
- 13:26Speaker 1: the stage Delicate Testen that was the big rival of
- 13:29Speaker 1: the Carnegie Deli back in the heyday. It was the
- 13:32Speaker 1: Carnegie Deli Leo Steiner and Milton Parker, and then the
- 13:37Speaker 1: Stage Deli which had been run by this guy, Max Asnes.
- 13:40Speaker 1: He was a major figure in America. Sorry to believe,
- 13:45Speaker 1: but back then in the fifties and the sixties and seventies,
- 13:48Speaker 1: it's Max Asnes, the Stage Deli, it was big Max Asnes.
- 13:52Speaker 1: He would be the mystery guest on What's My Line?
- 13:56Speaker 1: They'd stick him in the sitcoms on TV. Johnny Carson
- 13:59Speaker 1: would mention him all the time. But then the Carnegie
- 14:02Speaker 1: became the bigger and better one for years, and of
- 14:04Speaker 1: course became a legendary hangout. Remind me to talk more
- 14:08Speaker 1: about that later. There's a lot of great Carnegie stories.
- 14:12Speaker 1: But it's coming back. You can see the picture on
- 14:14Speaker 1: my Instagram fifty fourth and seventh Avenue where the old
- 14:19Speaker 1: Stage Deli was. That's pretty interesting, good development. Hey John
- 14:24Speaker 1: ossif this is this awful, horrible, disgusting guy running in Georgia.
- 14:31Speaker 1: He's the guy that tried to imply that Natalie Harp,
- 14:35Speaker 1: very hard working Trump executive assistant, was having some sort
- 14:38Speaker 1: of an affair. Tried to imply that absolutely crazy. Now
- 14:45Speaker 1: he got so much publicity. See, this is what happens.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You become like a clickhore. They call it a clickhore.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So you're kind of known in your district, but you're
- 14:55Speaker 1: not known around the country. You say something like that,
- 14:58Speaker 1: next thing, you know, your front page new He's all
- 15:00Speaker 1: over America. You're all over CNN MS. Now in their world,
- 15:04Speaker 1: that's a big deal. You're on the network news. They're
- 15:06Speaker 1: playing clips you. So the next day you got to
- 15:09Speaker 1: do it again. You got to say something even more outrageous.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You got to keep doing this to keep getting more pressed.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So yesterday went after Trump again, calling him a draft
- 15:18Speaker 1: dodging crook, a draft dodging crook. President now a draft
- 15:24Speaker 1: dodging well, I don't know if you call that draft
- 15:26Speaker 1: dodging avoiding service. Yeah, a lot of people did. Everybody
- 15:29Speaker 1: did back then. He's referring to Trump while he was
- 15:33Speaker 1: a student. He got four deferments while attending college. You
- 15:37Speaker 1: got a fifth for a medical diagnosis, bone spurs in
- 15:41Speaker 1: his heels. Now they go after Trump for that. The
- 15:46Speaker 1: only problem is Joe Biden had five deferments. He had
- 15:50Speaker 1: more student deferments than Trump, and he got off for
- 15:54Speaker 1: a medical deferment. Claiming he had asthma or something which
- 15:58Speaker 1: nobody's ever seen a sign of. So you look kind
- 16:01Speaker 1: of silly if you're going after Trump for this, and
- 16:03Speaker 1: you never mentioned it when Biden was running. You never
- 16:06Speaker 1: once mentioned it about Biden said, it's the first time.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It all started with Bill Clinton. I was back in
- 16:14Speaker 1: the nineties. It was really the first time because a
- 16:18Speaker 1: lot of people had served in World War Two, these
- 16:20Speaker 1: presidents and then Vietnam, and then Clinton was the younger
- 16:24Speaker 1: guy all of a sudden, and it was after that
- 16:27Speaker 1: whole era, so he was the first guy not to
- 16:28Speaker 1: serve in Vietnam. And then since then, I mean nowadays
- 16:32Speaker 1: people don't serve in the military. The draft ended and
- 16:35Speaker 1: I think seventy three or seventy four, so it's pretty
- 16:38Speaker 1: common now. But you'll hear this, and now that he
- 16:42Speaker 1: said that, it's getting a lot of attentions, you'll hear
- 16:44Speaker 1: more of this draft dodge or stuff. Hey, we got
- 16:46Speaker 1: a lot to get to. Don't go away now, nine
- 16:49Speaker 1: to noon every day, nine to noon. Every day. We'll
- 16:52Speaker 1: get to Iran or muse tiss James is getting a
- 16:56Speaker 1: lot of flat for something. We'll get to that more
- 16:58Speaker 1: coming up. Mark Simone here nine to noon on seven
- 17:01Speaker 1: ten wor
