- 0:01Damn it. It is time to leave your worries outside and join me Dan
- 0:36ol Mallley, Trade Trendholm and Raz Sharma right here inside the Treehouse. Thank
- 0:42you for joining us on day number two of Treehouse Gone Wild. It is
- 0:47spring break inside the Treehouse. So let's not waste any time. Time is
- 0:53precious. Let's get stupid. And uh, I don't know if there's anything
- 1:00stupider than a man challenging Mike Tyson to a boxing match. But that's where
- 1:11Jake Paul's enters the conversation Jake Paul Mike Tyson Live on Netflix July twentieth at
- 1:25AT and T Stadium otherwise known as Jerry World in Arlington. Because not enough
- 1:33stupid happens inside that building enough already, each year you have to have the
- 1:38murdering of Jake Paul in front of one hundred thousand people to the list of
- 1:45stupid h Here's here's the even crazier thing. There's there's more. Mm hmm
- 1:53okay, Jake Paul's favored mm hmmm. Shut the fuck up. Uh wait,
- 2:05hang on, I have already. I don't know if anyone really took
- 2:07that seriously. And let me make sure you're here. Uh say that again,
- 2:12Trey, Jake Paul is favored. Shut the up somehow, somehow carries
- 2:22more weight when you throw the beep in. It's like it's like it's like
- 2:24when you when you throw the beep in, the f meant more. So
- 2:27you had to because people wouldn't be able to handle it. You got to
- 2:30go shut the gop by how much Tyson is plus three twenty five? I
- 2:38would like to take a thousand dollars and put that on Mike Tyson, please
- 2:42right here, right now? Uh, Trey, call your bookie slash a
- 2:45sponsor for me. Man, the minute I saw that, lock in that
- 2:52rate, That's exactly what I did, honest to God, to me,
- 2:55it's more important to lock in that Mike Tyson plus us how much it's more
- 3:02important to lock in that rate than it is a home mortgage rate. Now,
- 3:07the people that are doing the odds, I'm assuming have not seen because
- 3:12it's it's been like re released in the last couple of days. Is Mike
- 3:15Tyson training? I don't know. You guys have seen last year? Yeah?
- 3:20Oh yeah? Is it just made or did anyone anyone else noticed that
- 3:24as a fifty seven year old Mike Tyson is destroying those those pads as he's
- 3:35moving around the ring with the aggression of an early twenties something year old Mike
- 3:44Tyson. Anyone noticed that he looked like he seemed a little hard or is
- 3:52that just? Is that just let's go back to the gambling line. So
- 3:55you were you were just staring at his jump the whole time he was No,
- 3:59No to me, I mean, when when it's bouncing around like that,
- 4:01I mean, it's it's hard not to notice. Okay, I was,
- 4:10I was. I was looking at his hand technique, and yeah,
- 4:13looking at it, looking at something else. No, I've noticed the hand
- 4:15technique as well. I just I'm gonna observe an individual. I take picture.
- 4:20Yeah, no, I take in the whole picture, and I noticed
- 4:23that. So not only not only is he's still clearly in fighting shape,
- 4:29but he's really excited to be doing it. Yes, I think I think
- 4:32it's bad enough if you were to agree. I don't care what the dollar
- 4:35amount is, because that's that's the uh, the hypothetical we've all asked each
- 4:41other since we first saw Mike Tyson fight at like the age of nineteen,
- 4:46how much would it take for you to step in the ring with Mike Tyson
- 4:48and Jake Paul's gonna do it. It's bad enough. Just imagine the reality
- 4:55is setting in. Forget the dollar amount that was agreed upon, the reality
- 4:59that would said in. As soon as you step foot inside the ring with
- 5:02Mike Tyson staring at you wanting to destroy you. That's bad enough. But
- 5:06then if you look down and see that he's a wrecked, doesn't that just
- 5:14make it worse? You get wrecked, he's a wrecked. That's just what
- 5:18happens. So and if he walked like when you when it comes time to
- 5:23touch gloves, if he says, uh, you know something along the lines
- 5:27of un't get my twenty million out of you, it's like, oh God,
- 5:30which party? When it comes time to touch gloves and you guys,
- 5:32he steps in front of you, He's like, that's not my glove.
- 5:35Sorry about that, buddy, Please God, don't treat me like robbing gibbons.
- 5:46It's pretty bad when when you'd prefer to be Evander Holyfield in that situation.
- 5:48Yeah, has anybody talked to like it caused? H I? Don't
- 5:53you guys remember the fight with Michael Spinks? But uh, it. He
- 5:57suffered permanent brain damage in that fight. Lasted nineteen seconds. That's all I'm
- 6:02trying to say is he lasted nineteen seconds and suffered permanent brain damage. Well,
- 6:08and everyone's talking about the fight he did last year with Roy Jones Junior.
- 6:13People don't understand how good of a fighter Roy Jones Junior was, Like
- 6:16he possibly was pound for pound, probably was a better fighter all around than
- 6:21Mike Tyson. Yeah yeah, And I'm glad you mentioned that, Dray,
- 6:26because the height of Roy Jones Junior was the height of my boxing watching cycle,
- 6:35like watching HBO boxing Larry Merchant and what's his name the play by play
- 6:44guy, watching Roy Jones Junior, Prince something guy that was really fast,
- 6:49like all these great names that I saw, And you're right, Roy Jones
- 6:51Junior was phenomenal. And I still keep thinking though that my guys is gonna
- 7:00kill Jake Paul and we're all gonna be watching it. Oh yeah, I
- 7:03totally agree. I mean, if now, if somehow Jake Paul, if
- 7:09it goes past maybe two rounds, maybe he has a chance. I was
- 7:14gonna say, I was gonna say I'd be surprised if it went after three
- 7:16but then again, maybe maybe they'll make a show out of it. I
- 7:19don't know. No, Oh, they'll make a show out of it.
- 7:26His funeral definitely the best watching YouTube thing ever. Yeah, this is uh
- 7:32my guess is if it's if he goes because you have to also understand this
- 7:36is like Mike Tyson, Mike Tyson in therapy. So he's like, he's
- 7:42very zen, Like I don't know if he saw the Joe Rogan interview and
- 7:45I was like, you know, you got Paul called out by uh Logan
- 7:50Paul or whoever it was to fight him. He's like, no, I
- 7:54think it's awesome. I think it's it's great. It's it's wonderful to have
- 7:57the opportunity. I'm like, what what happened to Like, I'm gonna eat
- 8:01it hot and then I'm gonna bury his children, Like what happened to that
- 8:05guy? Maybe maybe he's learned finally not to say the out. Maybe he's
- 8:09finally learned not to speak his thoughts. Oh, so he's internalizing everything.
- 8:15That's what we want, which is why you don't get in the ring with
- 8:18Mike Tyson. And I don't care what his mental state. I just like
- 8:22to box everything up and then it's very deep down inside my soul. I
- 8:26feel I hear the bell ring, I feel bad for his kids, Like,
- 8:31no, no, just internalize that, Mike, internalize that. Just
- 8:35put that in. He doesn't have any kids and he never will. Okay,
- 8:39that's just let's not let's not do that. It's just a boxing match.
- 8:45And that was something I was like. I posted on that was on
- 8:46on Twitter x whatever the hell it's called today on Elon's fan page. I
- 8:54posted when I first saw the video announcement from Netflix, Jake Paul, Mike
- 8:58Tyson, Jill twenty if Netflix Live, Jerry World, whatever I said,
- 9:03Can I preemptively report a murder because it's like one of those murder misters,
- 9:09Like I like to report a murder, like I'm already starting up a side
- 9:15project podcast about the murdering of Jake Paul. I like to report a murder.
- 9:18Well, where did it happen? It hasn't happened yet ominously, but
- 9:24it's going too. Yeah. If I my thing is this like the balls
- 9:30that he has to have, assuming he watched the training video and just looked
- 9:35at that and went, yeah, I want to fight that guy. I
- 9:39don't care if he's I know, he's twenty six and Tyson's fifty seven.
- 9:43But Tyson's a different fifty seven, yeah, right, like wildly different fifty
- 9:48seven, Like like twenty six year old Jake Paul versus forty four year old
- 9:52danel Mallick. He gonna kill me, right, Yeah. But I'm not
- 9:56Mike Tyson at any age. I never was, never well be No,
- 10:01I wouldn't fight Mike Tyson at ninety seven. No, I mean, you
- 10:09might have a shot if he's ninety seven and you're forty four, Like you
- 10:13might have you might have a little bit of a chance maybe, But I
- 10:18did. Like though, It's like so when I posted on when I posted
- 10:20online saying like can I preemptively report a murder? Someone had responded, It's
- 10:24like guy, it's like he was like, Dan, don't worry about it.
- 10:28It's it's just an exhibition about blah blah blah, And like, no,
- 10:31huh huh, that's what Apollo Creed thought. Look what happened to him.
- 10:39This could very well be a life imitating art situation. Yeah, I
- 10:45just uh, I don't know how you decide you're that that's what you want
- 10:50to do. That's like you know what, this is a fun and he
- 10:54hasn't really fought. I mean, okay, Jake Paul like he fights people
- 10:58on his on his terms, like he's fighting m m a guys in a
- 11:01boxing ring. Okay, that's there in lines the difference, right, didn't
- 11:07he he lost to Tommy Morrison? Didn't Jake Paul just lose? I mean
- 11:13he lost a Tommy Morrison still fighting. I want to say it was it
- 11:18was a no name guy. I mean, I I think I just see
- 11:22him take on Butterbean. That would be awesome. I think he's doing it
- 11:30just because he's he realizes that this whole boxing thing has come to an end
- 11:33and he's got one good payday left and this is it, and well he
- 11:37did. It's a boozy. Jake Paul did say the same day that the
- 11:41fight was announced as we can find it real quick, saying, uh here
- 11:48here it is on a On March seventh. Last week, Jake Paul tweeted
- 11:52out promotion, promotion, promotion. If I'm being honest, I don't need
- 11:56that the biggest fight of the twenty first century and the biggest NFL stadium in
- 12:00broadcast live on the biggest streaming platform in the world. That's the MVP way.
- 12:03I think that's his company. Whether you're tuning in on Netflix or showing
- 12:09click more, showing out in person, whether your team pauler team Tyson,
- 12:13whether you're a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, You're not gonna
- 12:18want to miss this event. Cannot be more excited to make this amazing fight
- 12:20available to all Netflix subscribers along with the hardest hitter of all time, Mike
- 12:24Tyson, Saturday July twentieth. My sights are said, I'm becoming a world
- 12:28champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight
- 12:33champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet, and the most
- 12:35dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep. So
- 12:45I think I've cracked the code on this with Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson.
- 12:48Okay, we really in life don't get the opportunity to choose when and where
- 12:58we die. It's usually I did for us. Jake Paul has found a
- 13:03way to make it happen for himself, and we're all just gonna pay whatever
- 13:07it is to to see it. And I'll be there among them. Yeah,
- 13:13I I it was Tommy Fury. I think that's who you were thinking
- 13:16of. Oh yeah, okay, yeah, because I was like Tommy Morrison,
- 13:20I got Tommy Tommy Fury. But yeah, and he lost tom Yeah,
- 13:24and he did lose legitimately lost to Tommy Fury. So uh, now
- 13:28you're gonna fight Mike Tyson. Okay, Yeah, that's the that's mhm.
- 13:35Again. If you're watching the training video and and Jake Paul is like,
- 13:39you know what I gotta I gotta go out on a high note, and
- 13:41like, what's the best way to go out death? Okay, let's let's
- 13:45sign Tyson. Let's let's get him on board. I can't imagine that phone,
- 13:50Like, I can't imagine. I just want to see Tyson's face when
- 13:54he got the call. I think I think it's pretty Uh, I can
- 13:58see it. I can see. It's easy he to imagine. Mike answers
- 14:01the phone and someone asks the question that you don't hear. You just see
- 14:07Mike answer the phone. It's a it's a close up of his face.
- 14:09He answers the phone that's coming in from Jake Paul's people, and he he
- 14:13you hear the murmuring like in uh and then and then Mike Tyson says,
- 14:20yeah, I'll kill a white boy. I'm a huckleberry. And then he
- 14:28gets an erection and leads him to the correction of the ring. And how
- 14:37you mentioned Jake Paul. He likes to fight people on his terms. Well,
- 14:39if Mike Tyson walks in the ring like that, then he's gonna be
- 14:41well, hey, that that that No, that's not a lot. That's
- 14:46like can imagine, just like Jake Paul just in the court, Like Mike
- 14:48Tyson makes his answer to Jake Paul's just warming up. He's like, hey
- 14:50man, quick question. Yeah, what's up Jake? Is he hard?
- 14:58You mean hard to beat? No? Looking down hard? Yeah, Mike
- 15:05Tyson's corner. He doesn't need a cut man, he just has a fluffers.

- 16:18so we would rent dune buggies and go through the desert. I've taken a
- 16:21helicopter ride over the Strip and again groupon group on groupon because I'm cheap,
- 16:26so I always took myself to Vegas. I'm so boring. I never went
- 16:30to the beach. I went to the beach later in life. I'm sorry,
- 16:32but going to Vegas for spring break doesn't exactly check the box of boring,
- 16:37not even close. It doesn't. But it's not your traditional girl's gone
- 16:41wild on the beach. Woo. You know you know what? The women

- 18:00the break. What was it you were trying to tell us about Mike Tyson.
- 18:03It's when he went to prison. I don't know how much truth there
- 18:06is to the story, but it was a it was a fantastic story.
- 18:07I think it was like right as the Internet was like becoming a thing.
- 18:11Is when he went to prison. There was a story that there was an
- 18:15inmate that you know, everybody wants to be the tough guy in prison,
- 18:18and Mike Tyson went to jalhen there's always gotta be that one guy, like
- 18:22all whoop his ass, and so somebody went to fight Mike Tyson. And
- 18:26I believe if I remember it correctly, so long ago, but I believe
- 18:30he snapped both of his arms, like he broke together guys, but both
- 18:33of his arms. And that was the only fight he ever got into in
- 18:36prison because they saw the result, which was he broke both the guy's arm
- 18:41like that is yeah, that's and that's like and if you if that guy
- 18:48would have won, don't you think he wins prison? Like if like prison
- 18:52was a game, like he won, like they should let you out,
- 18:56Like that should be well, yeaht of a judge at that point, you
- 19:02actually did win the real life version of Mike Tyson's punch out, and you
- 19:07should be able to again. You should be able to go to the judge
- 19:08and be like, Okay, what's what is it you want? I'd like
- 19:11to get out of prison. You know you're serving a life sentence. I
- 19:15beat up Mike Tyson. It's like, you know what time served? No,
- 19:18I think that. I think that's more reason to keep him locked up.
- 19:22The guy that yeah, it's like, you know what to tell you.
- 19:26We'll let you out of this prison and we'll send you straight to super
- 19:29Max, or you become part of some secret government pro you're just going to
- 19:38run the world punching terraces in the face. Yeah, I mean that's actually
- 19:47a good program. I just don't want to find any guy that got a
- 19:49face tattoo when they weren't popular, you know what I mean, Like they
- 19:53weren't in style, and he's like put that on my face, Like,
- 19:56okay, buddy, that sounds good. Well. And there was also the
- 20:00story that in this one I believe has been verified that when Mike Tyson was
- 20:06was younger. He's he he loves pigeons. I don't know if it's just
- 20:10racing pigeons specifically or just pigeons. They're his pets, his babies, and
- 20:14it's kind of a common thing in New York to have rooftop pigeon cages and
- 20:17things. And someone killed his pigeons or a pigeon, and then he destroyed
- 20:23that person physically. It didn't kill them. I guess he decided to stop
- 20:26short and be merciful. But that's one of those stories. It's like,
- 20:30that's what he did when you did that to his bird. Yeah, that's
- 20:34what That's what I'm saying, Like, this is this, this is therapy,
- 20:37Mike. This is like Mike, you know, the urge to kill.
- 20:41Yes, shove it down, shove it down inside like we're not gonna
- 20:45talk about it anymore. Okay, sounds good. And then and then it's
- 20:51baby steps, trying to find a healthy outlet for the rage. Yeah,
- 20:57and then Jake calls, people call, and then the therapist says, I've
- 21:00got your outlet. I have your next victim, I mean outlet, I
- 21:06have your outlet, your victim. That's wrong. Yeah, that's gonna be
- 21:11I cannot I give it thirty seconds. The therapist is a hypnotist, because
- 21:18carry it. When you hear the bell, when you hear Robin Gibbons three
- 21:23times on the ship, My god, the first ten rows of that boxing
- 21:33match is going to look like a bloody Gallagher event. Oh all right,
- 21:42there is there is something that might be uh, not as stupid as challenging
- 21:48Mike Tyson to an actual boxing match, but still pretty stupid on the on
- 21:52the stupid scale, and that is have you guys seen the videos of I
- 21:57think it's an actual competition now power Slap. Yes, I don't know.
- 22:03I guess it's origins are, like a lot of things. It probably started
- 22:07in the streets with you know, two dudes in a bar having a disagreement,
- 22:11say let's take it outside. When they went outside, they said,
- 22:12okay, okay, open hand only you get will you get one slap?
- 22:18I get one slap? And then power Slap was born. I don't know
- 22:21the origin of it. I just assume it was something silly like that.
- 22:23And now it's an honest to goodness competition and it's bad. Yeah, it's
- 22:33there's a lot of uh so it's Dana White's the same guy from UFC,
- 22:37and he doesn't care about anybody's actual health. Uh, clearly you can tell
- 22:44by past CTE MMA Fight are suffering from ct And now there's a whole thing
- 22:52on this power slap thing because now they have the mouth guards. I don't
- 22:56know if you see that. They the first season, if you watch it,
- 22:57they did not have mouth cards, and the question of CTE came up.
- 23:03But it's it's it's like getting hit in the head by a car.
- 23:07Yeah, because I mean, like when you're doing the videos that I've seen,
- 23:10it's not like it's not this is not pimp slapping. Like pimp slapping,
- 23:15I'm assuming like it's sort of like you draw a line down the middle
- 23:17of your hand and you're supposed to use like the front part I think I
- 23:22saw I saw a diagram online. You only use the front part of the
- 23:26hand for a normal slap, right, you use the back half that includes
- 23:30the palm I think in the power slap, and that's how you end up
- 23:34doing some serious damage. Yeah, they should also have an iced t tutorial
- 23:38of the pimp slap like that as scene on SVU. But I would also
- 23:48watch if you could get pimps slapping people. I would watch that as opposed
- 23:53to the power slap thing because I can. I can't watch the power slap
- 23:56thing. I've seen, Like when you see the chalk fly off of people's
- 24:00face, I'm like, that is I just laughed too hard and I'm like,
- 24:03I feel bad because I'm laughing at their pain. But no, I
- 24:07don't know that's that's not mm hmm. It's been around for a while.
- 24:11I mean, to my knowledge, it was in a very Eastern European thing
- 24:17that somehow probably started in Russia along with the car mma where they do the
- 24:26mma matches inside of a locked car. See that, and I'm like,
- 24:30yeah, that that's that's that's probably Bulgaria, Russia. Yeah, uh huh
- 24:38uh. They actually have because I guess you have. I guess Dana White
- 24:41has started the parent organization, like the Central Organization for Power Slap, and
- 24:45I guess you go to Vegas and you do the whole competition. But in
- 24:48order to do that, it's sort of like the World Series of Poker.
- 24:51To get there, I guess as an amateur, you have to go to
- 24:55the satellite power slap meets and win those and progress and until you can get
- 25:00to the big stage in Vegas. And I guess they had one in Dallas
- 25:06a couple of weeks ago, because I wanted to share this with you guys.
- 25:10There's a this was in Dallas and it was a power slap competition something
- 25:18and it's two guys standing in front. There's a referee I guess, standing
- 25:22in between the two of them. Yeah, and it seems very official.
- 25:26All right, can you guys see that? Yeah? This is one of
- 25:30those times where if you go to our Patreon you'll be able to see the
- 25:34video that we'll post on this or if you're really lucky, maybe we'll include
- 25:37this in Treehouse TV on YouTube at the end of the week. But my
- 25:41point is this power slap I guess has satellite competitions that you have to win
- 25:47and then move up before you get to the big stage. So in this
- 25:51one, this is from Dallas, You've got two guys standing in front of
- 25:53each other. They're going to take turn slapping each other. You got the
- 25:56web Chapel Extension sign over their heads. You got a very official looking referee
- 26:00in an old school mAb's logo shirt with oversized shorts. And this is what
- 26:06happens when you do the power slap in the in a bar in Dallas.
- 26:11Okay, okay, the slap one may that's a hard slap. The problem
- 26:23is, I think that guy only used the the front half of his hand.
- 26:30The second guy uses the back half. Here we go two. He
- 26:47hit him so hard. Not only did it take him off his feet for
- 26:49it what looks to be a t k O, but it sent him threw
- 26:53a black curtain into another room, sent him back to his childhood. It
- 27:02did. He did have the same form as my mother, who was who
- 27:10was the Mike Tyson of her time. But let's watch this again and listen
- 27:15really closely, because I think there's there's when you hit someone so hard,
- 27:21there is some visceral some visceral reactions now you just can't control. And and
- 27:26this power slap did that to this guy. Go back to it. Now
- 27:37he's winding up, he's getting himself ready. Okay, here we go.
- 27:41Here comes the slap. Yeah, that's a that's a hard slap, Papa,
- 27:52can you hear me? Oh man, wow, this is uh you
- 28:03know? And I and again I'll do a race thing. I thought it
- 28:07was a white people only thing, but now I mean it's getting it's the
- 28:11beauty of it. It's getting everybody involved. So you're right because this appears
- 28:17to be what like two Hispanic gentlemen. Yes, so I mean regulation,
- 28:21it's a testament to the sport. It is very inclusive. That's an overriding
- 28:27principle that stupid knows no color. To that end, I would like to
- 28:34be here in the treehouse. Everyone is welcome and that's not a whoop thing
- 28:41that just because we're cool. Yeah, just don't slap any of us please.
- 28:51Like these guys are looking at it a sport and I'm like, oh,
- 28:52third grade, I remember that. I'm just reliving childhood trauma. That's
- 28:59what I'm second. I'm like, oh, I remember that day. I
- 29:02mean a b I talked back. I asked for seconds. Remember that story
- 29:19I told you about my Masters of the Universe TV trade covered in syrup,
- 29:26he went to the curtain. It was actually a solid wall, laughing through
- 29:44the pain. That's what we do here in the treehouse. Oh. That
- 29:48is day two of spring break in the Treehouse. Treehouse Gone Wild. Thanks
- 29:53for hanging out with us Tomorrow, of course, Day three, Day three,
- 30:00House Gone Wild. Be here for it as we will, yeah,
- 30:06including And it's not often we tease things, but I think this is This
- 30:10is a this is one that has earned the tease about a handsy uber driver,
- 30:17a story you do not want to miss tomorrow in the treehouse. Trust
