- 3:22Speaker 1: I always played up. I always played up, like I
- 3:25Speaker 1: only did like like in each division, I almost did
- 3:31Speaker 1: like one year, well I did two years, but that
- 3:33Speaker 1: second year I always had to cut weight.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I say, so, so I have to do that too.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So did you have to like watch your weight? Yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 2: every every division? Yeah, but that was that was torture.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Like I remember I was in I had to take

- 3:51Speaker 3: They just said, like.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Because I was in seventh grade okay, yeah, but my
- 3:56Speaker 1: eighth grade year, I just went straight to freshman football.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Like, ah, so you okay, so like you was an
- 4:05Speaker 2: eighth grade playing freshman Yeah, and they allowed it.
- 4:09Speaker 1: By sixth grade. I was maxed out by sixth grade
- 4:12Speaker 1: and fifth grade, I tell you this, I was a
- 4:13Speaker 1: state championship wrestler. I was about what's fifth grade age,
- 4:19Speaker 1: like eleven twelve? Yeah, I was like eleven twelve and
- 4:22Speaker 1: I was one hundred and twenty pounds.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You were bigger than everybody that's a fifth grader is
- 4:27Speaker 2: on the where I'm from and be bigger than everybody.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah that was in fifth grade. Bye. Sixth grade, I
- 4:36Speaker 1: was probably twelve and I was probably like one thirty five.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I almost like by eighth grade. I remember, I was
- 4:44Speaker 1: like one hundred and ninety pounds one hundred and eighty
- 4:46Speaker 1: something pounds.
- 4:46Speaker 3: By eight grade. Five grade, Yeah, bro, you're you're bigger
- 4:50Speaker 3: than a lot of NFL dudes.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah. I was still there like doing twenty pounds every year.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Oh my god, did you look like were you like
- 4:58Speaker 3: just built or were you just like.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I was definitely like O D like I was built Like.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Yeah, man, that's that's different.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Like eighth grade year, I was like the starter, Like
- 5:12Speaker 1: I was the best player on my team, but.
- 5:13Speaker 3: You were the best player in the world. He was
- 5:16Speaker 3: bigger than everybody in the world.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Right, No, no, no, I don't know in the world.
- 5:19Speaker 1: But by ninth grade, I tell you crazy story, right, Okay,
- 5:22Speaker 1: so I had I was like dominating like freshman football,
- 5:27Speaker 1: like dominating in eighth grade.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And would you two fifteen, I was about two tend
- 5:33Speaker 2: I leave, bro, like about two ten.
- 5:35Speaker 1: By my freshman year. I was six to two hundred
- 5:38Speaker 1: twenty pounds freshman year. My freshman year.
- 5:42Speaker 2: All right, so like before we get started, scratch out
- 5:45Speaker 2: everything that you said about me and me being stayed up. Bro,
- 5:50Speaker 2: you was bigger. No, he was bigger than the world,
- 5:52Speaker 2: like it was. He was a bigger than I get it,
- 5:56Speaker 2: bigger everybody.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You were the fastest, the biggest person at seven years old,
- 6:01Speaker 1: probably playing like Smurfs or like pee wee because she
- 6:05Speaker 1: was in kindergarten.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Okay, so there's a difference.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Like I was probably like four when I was four.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I started playing football at four. When I was four,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I was playing at Smurf Peewee at four years.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Old, are you different still are damn all right?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Yeah? But by like I would say, ninth grade, I
- 6:29Speaker 1: was six two six one, two hundred twenty pounds playing varsity. Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 1: I went straight to varsity because I played freshman football
- 6:38Speaker 1: in my eighth grade year.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Yeah. So about to say, I.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Was dominating freshman football, right, and I'll never forget. I
- 6:45Speaker 1: was like going dumb right, And I came into the
- 6:47Speaker 1: locker room talking trash and some of the varsity players
- 6:50Speaker 1: was like, man, you're only doing that because it's freshman,
- 6:53Speaker 1: Like you ain't you ain't want to do that.
- 6:56Speaker 3: They was on that with me too.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like it's.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Just firstman football. But like you know, growing up, I
- 7:03Speaker 1: seen so many like nice high school players, like in Harrisburg.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I was like, damn, like they might be right, Like,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I don't know what it's gonna be. Like, Man, it
- 7:11Speaker 1: was different, nah, trash, I was different. I mean we
- 7:16Speaker 1: know that.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Wait, so who is the best player from from where
- 7:19Speaker 2: you came from?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Bro growing up? Yeah, y'all not even gonna know this name,
- 7:25Speaker 1: but the best players that I seen, and this is
- 7:29Speaker 1: just from where I was. I was at CD, just start.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I was at CD just Start, I'm gonna say Zsa
- 7:36Speaker 1: was the coldest player in the state of the He
- 7:41Speaker 1: was like the person like everyone was like, you're gonna
- 7:44Speaker 1: be like Za Like he was a running back, running back,
- 7:47Speaker 1: linebacker hit Yep, he did everything?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Did he How far did he did he go?
- 7:55Speaker 1: See? That was the thing. It was some stuff that
- 7:57Speaker 1: went down. I see, I see dang. Yeah. But he
- 8:02Speaker 1: he was alleged he was going to be the guy Dan.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He was.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Has he talked to you since you obviously since you've been.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I don't know where he's at now, but he was.
- 8:12Speaker 1: He was the guy though.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah. We I mean the best player I saw was
- 8:17Speaker 3: like you know Nickile Harry.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You heard that name? Yeah to the Patriots?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah yeah bro? In high school Bro. I mean it
- 8:26Speaker 2: was like Mega Tron, Like he catched the ball and
- 8:30Speaker 2: just casually jump over somebody and then stiff are somebody
- 8:32Speaker 2: at the same time.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It was unbelievable.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I need we need to pull up our high school highlight.
- 8:37Speaker 1: See what's our comparables.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I think minds are better, you think so? I think?
- 8:46Speaker 1: So what was your touchdown average?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Like, I mean did I have per season, like per game?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:54Speaker 3: Like five was like the first like the first half.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Oh, but I played, but you played both though, so
- 9:03Speaker 2: like I only played straight offense, I only played offense.
- 9:06Speaker 1: No, but what division of football did you play?
- 9:09Speaker 2: The highest division in Arizona and Arizona. Okay, let look
- 9:12Speaker 2: we get into that conversation Arizona football versus We won't
- 9:17Speaker 2: even get into.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Oh you was playing bumps, no a little bit. What
- 9:22Speaker 1: made you go from Arizona to Texas?
- 9:25Speaker 2: But I was just like that was like all God,
- 9:28Speaker 2: bro like because I committed to Ohio State for a week,
- 9:34Speaker 2: like it was me CJ, like we were all in
- 9:37Speaker 2: that in that class, like Jackson and I committed there
- 9:41Speaker 2: for a week and I was like, bro, I'm coming
- 9:44Speaker 2: to Ohio State.
- 9:45Speaker 3: It was like that was the thing.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And then bro, I started like praying, and I just
- 9:52Speaker 2: know God was telling me like this is that's not
- 9:53Speaker 2: the place for you, like you shouldn't go, Like Ohio
- 9:56Speaker 2: State's not it. And I just had that feeling for
- 9:59Speaker 2: a whole week, like after after I silently committed there,
- 10:02Speaker 2: like I called the coaches, I called coach day, I
- 10:06Speaker 2: was like I'm coming here. We had a celebration on
- 10:08Speaker 2: the phone, and then like that next day I was
- 10:11Speaker 2: like this it just doesn't feel right. But I knew
- 10:14Speaker 2: Texas was like the place I was supposed to be
- 10:17Speaker 2: at the whole time. But I was really just going
- 10:20Speaker 2: to a hot steak because like it looked the best,
- 10:23Speaker 2: like it, I mean, the facilities, the class all that.
- 10:26Speaker 1: The facilities is crazy.
- 10:27Speaker 3: The fatility is crazy. I was like, but I was like, man,
- 10:31Speaker 3: this is definitely not it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: So I said, this almost went to a hot state too.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It's something about it, bro, It's something about it. It's
- 10:41Speaker 2: a certain to it. Like I was there and I
- 10:44Speaker 2: was like, I'm coming here, yo, so with no thought.
- 10:48Speaker 1: No no, So I'm gonna tell you my story, righty.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I was damn there. So I had just decommitted from
- 10:54Speaker 1: Penn State my junior year.
- 10:55Speaker 3: So you decommitted there, Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I was committed. And then like I was taking
- 10:59Speaker 1: on my bus because my dad was like, we need
- 11:01Speaker 1: to see everything, son, Like.
- 11:02Speaker 3: That's my that's my grandfather there, Like we gotta see.
- 11:05Speaker 3: We gotta see more than just.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You know this one school parents that be toxic to
- 11:09Speaker 1: your your recruitment. Because my dad did not want me,
- 11:12Speaker 1: like he wanted me to go to Penn State, Like
- 11:14Speaker 1: he was okay with the decision.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 1: But he was like, nah, we're gonna take all these
- 11:18Speaker 1: official visits. We're gonna take all these free flows, maximize this,
- 11:21Speaker 1: free food, all these everything, like we're going to maximize this.
- 11:25Speaker 1: And I was like all right that, like like I'm
- 11:27Speaker 1: with it. So so we go to a Higo state
- 11:31Speaker 1: that was like my first OV, and I just want to.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yo.
- 11:37Speaker 1: They just put up the red carpet. They put out
- 11:40Speaker 1: the red carpet like I'm from Harrisburg, small city, Ain't
- 11:45Speaker 1: nothing going on. When they took me down to High Street,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I was like, man.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Bro, I remember all that, like so so Chase young
- 11:54Speaker 2: and uh I forgot his name, the coach. But they
- 12:01Speaker 2: took me like not not to a bar because I
- 12:04Speaker 2: wasn't really like going out type. So they took me
- 12:06Speaker 2: like to like the campus to see like a lot
- 12:09Speaker 2: of the kids and stuff. And I was like, bro,
- 12:11Speaker 2: this is insane, like their energy on campus was. I
- 12:15Speaker 2: was like, I'm coming here, I'm coming here like everything
- 12:19Speaker 2: stay really rolled up to red carpet.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Bro. I didn't like, I'm not after my OV. My
- 12:25Speaker 1: dad was like what you think? Like my dad like yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: y'all know my dad. He's the most like energetic in
- 12:33Speaker 1: the moment person, Yeah, you know, it's crazy here, Like
- 12:37Speaker 1: I can't believe it.
- 12:38Speaker 3: It's like, bro, like I know that feeling. My grandma
- 12:41Speaker 3: was like and.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know if they talked to
- 12:43Speaker 1: my dad away from me, but.
- 12:46Speaker 2: They they did that parent like they take you away.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I'm like, they must have offered himselfing because bro, he excited.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He came into that room like so this is crazy,
- 12:57Speaker 1: Like I don't know, I can see the fact. He's
- 13:00Speaker 1: like I can see it. I was like, can you
- 13:02Speaker 1: can you see it?
- 13:03Speaker 3: My whole family was like, man, it's far, but we'll
- 13:06Speaker 3: make it.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 1: He was like it's on here, five hour drive. He's like,
- 13:11Speaker 1: we can make that. Like that's nothing.
- 13:13Speaker 3: So it was tough.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So I go take my last interview with Larry Johnson
- 13:20Speaker 1: or whatever. And this is before the whole recruiting violation
- 13:22Speaker 1: because they had me on college game day and everything.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Like yeah, no facts you too. Well, well no I didn't.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I didn't in the off season, but they took me
- 13:32Speaker 2: to like the frat party brun Like. I was meeting
- 13:36Speaker 2: all the presidents, They're all lined up. I was like,
- 13:38Speaker 2: I was like, bro, like I don't even know what
- 13:40Speaker 2: really a frat is. Until I went to All State, you.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Kind of exposure to the fresh I didn't get trying.
- 13:45Speaker 3: To do everything, like the whole thing. That's crazy. Oh wow,
- 13:50Speaker 3: that's crazy.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But yeah, it was like they tried to pressure me
- 13:53Speaker 1: to commit that week too. It was like it was like,
- 13:56Speaker 1: come right now, we got one other person waiting, but
- 13:58Speaker 1: we want you to be our last guy.
- 14:00Speaker 3: He yo, it's crazy because they said the same stuff.
- 14:03Speaker 1: They're good, They're good in the whole game.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Feeling real pressure, bro, I was like, I got it
- 14:09Speaker 2: because if I don't go, then they'll have nobody.
- 14:13Speaker 3: I don't know, man, that was that was a long
- 14:15Speaker 3: time ago.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, God, and I know what you mean with classes too.
- 14:18Speaker 2: That class, that class was unbelievable. Got Lee, they get them, Bro,
- 14:24Speaker 2: I don't know, Bro, that's off. Texas better though pep
- 14:28Speaker 2: States the best at all of us. You know, you know,
- 14:30Speaker 2: I'm glad I went there. I have no regrets.
- 14:33Speaker 3: What if you want to Texas, Bro, I'm not gonna lie.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Did you ever talk to him?
- 14:37Speaker 1: I had a guy offered, but I tell all my
- 14:40Speaker 1: people to this day, I wish I had took a visit.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Now that you know, David is my agent. I've been
- 14:45Speaker 1: down to Austin and I've been on Sixth Street and
- 14:48Speaker 1: I see what the community is like, I've seen the
- 14:50Speaker 1: game atmosphere. Man, I tell people all the time, I
- 14:53Speaker 1: wish I took a visit, like because of my like
- 14:56Speaker 1: where I'm at in Dallas, I'm from Pa. My kids
- 15:01Speaker 1: aren't allowed to go to three schools no matter what.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Where is that at? Oh in college?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and if they don't get a scholarship and they
- 15:09Speaker 1: swear they want to go somewhere else, and I guess,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you know, I got to deal with that. But if
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm paying my kids or like where I'm going to
- 15:16Speaker 1: lead them towards. It's Texas Penn State and do my
- 15:21Speaker 1: kids can go to good three? Yeah? They give me
- 15:24Speaker 1: a reason to go back home for Penn State, to
- 15:26Speaker 1: keep repping the Blue State.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Was How was that experience?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Oh? My god, Like Penn State was the craziest experience
- 15:33Speaker 1: in my life. Okay, Like to this day, like I
- 15:37Speaker 1: tell people, like that was the best experience I've ever
- 15:40Speaker 1: had in my life. Like, and the crazy part is
- 15:43Speaker 1: it happened and I almost quit football in my first
- 15:45Speaker 1: two months.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Just because like it was that hard.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Broe was that hard, like like college kids got it
- 15:54Speaker 1: so sweet now, like I get an I l I'm not,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't care about the brand. But they formatted, oh,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you left just before, yeah, but forget all the bread
- 16:04Speaker 1: like I'm rich now. I mean I'm good now, like
- 16:07Speaker 1: I forget to forget the money like they like I
- 16:12Speaker 1: was in a four am group like when we had
- 16:14Speaker 1: to have like morning workouts at four am, Like I
- 16:17Speaker 1: was in that era of like like pain and suffering
- 16:21Speaker 1: like before they kind of like tweaked it out, not didn't.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Make it this hard, like all the Matt drills gone
- 16:25Speaker 3: like all that.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's sweet, now, bro, What was what was your
- 16:30Speaker 2: like stipend.
- 16:33Speaker 1: When I was on campus? I got eight hundred dollars
- 16:35Speaker 1: a month or something like that snaps as a refreshman,
- 16:41Speaker 1: I got like eight hundred dollars.
- 16:42Speaker 2: So you had the whole your whole time in college,
- 16:45Speaker 2: you didn't have an il you left right before, yeah
- 16:48Speaker 2: right before? Now, I left two years before.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, but.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I got I got eight hundred dollars a month, and
- 16:57Speaker 1: then when I moved off campus, I got two thousands.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yep, yep.
- 17:01Speaker 2: That was the same so my freshman year because in
- 17:04Speaker 2: my sophomore junior year is when I had an io. Yeah,
- 17:07Speaker 2: that freshmanear was like a thousand a month. Mm hm,
- 17:11Speaker 2: that's crazy now because getting millions, bro. So, I saw
- 17:16Speaker 2: saw Kiet a million dollars, bro and did nothing on
- 17:18Speaker 2: the field.
- 17:18Speaker 1: They make him more year than you right now.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Okay, I saw a kid at a million dollars to
- 17:27Speaker 2: go to a school to sit on the bench.
- 17:30Speaker 1: It was like, you know, speaking of salaries, bro, your
- 17:35Speaker 1: position has been very slept on the past couple of years.
- 17:40Speaker 3: That I'm crazy this year.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I think you, sa Quan, Christian McCaffrey, Jamior Gibbs, y'all
- 17:49Speaker 1: are in a different tier of running back. Now. I'm
- 17:55Speaker 1: not saying that there aren't great running backs like Derrick Henry,
- 17:59Speaker 1: Josh Bacobs and you know that are in that a tier.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I think there's two running backs to a tier. Yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 1: but I think you, Jamier Gibbs and uh what else
- 18:14Speaker 1: I say, Chris McCaffrey Christian mccaffe are like one A.
- 18:20Speaker 3: What about a cook?
- 18:23Speaker 1: He's in that group two with one A. I said
- 18:25Speaker 1: to like ten of y'all, I can't like just deep dive.
- 18:28Speaker 3: In running backs. Yeah, I think.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Y'all catching ability and everything that y'all are able to do.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And you even you treat the saquon. Thank you for
- 18:38Speaker 1: making us RBS look amazing. This position is looking great,
- 18:42Speaker 1: like expansions, Like, what do you think the future RBA's
- 18:45Speaker 1: position is, Like, do you think it's gonna be bigger
- 18:47Speaker 1: free agency? You think the money's gonna be bigger for y'all?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Like yeah, for me, I'm like, so I feel like
- 18:54Speaker 2: when you have a a running back that can be
- 18:57Speaker 2: like a difference maker for a team an offense, like
- 19:02Speaker 2: it makes your whole offense explosive.
- 19:04Speaker 3: And I mean, whether you like it or not.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Obviously the old line is you got to get all
- 19:10Speaker 2: the credit to your old line because they make everything happen.
- 19:14Speaker 2: But I mean, you just have a guy like you
- 19:17Speaker 2: can give the ball to every single play and every
- 19:19Speaker 2: play can be something crazy and it could be a
- 19:22Speaker 2: game changer. And I mean obviously we're seeing with like
- 19:26Speaker 2: with Seqon right here, I mean, he he's he's the
- 19:31Speaker 2: offense man. Like he's like, if Sakon wasn't on this offense,
- 19:36Speaker 2: it would not be as explosive we see it. We
- 19:39Speaker 2: see like and obviously, like their old line is amazing
- 19:42Speaker 2: and they have a lot of like great skill players.
- 19:44Speaker 2: But dude, like he's he made, he made. He's the
- 19:48Speaker 2: game changer for for this team. And I think you
- 19:51Speaker 2: got to be a game changer for your team when
- 19:52Speaker 2: you're talking about like those tiers of running backs and
- 19:56Speaker 2: you know.
- 19:56Speaker 1: And you know why I say this, It's because if
- 19:59Speaker 1: you look over the last three years, the Eagles have
- 20:03Speaker 1: had a Pro Bowl running.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Back every single every single.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Year they've had they've had a running back over a
- 20:08Speaker 1: thousand yards every single year and went Pro Bowl.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Every single year.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I knew instantly, oh man went there, it would go
- 20:15Speaker 1: to a whole other.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Level a rap and like, and you're right, because DeAndre
- 20:20Speaker 2: Swift like and he had a good year, went to
- 20:23Speaker 2: the Pro Bowl and I think he had like a
- 20:25Speaker 2: thousand yards, like just just over that.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Bro.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I was like, this dude went to over two thousands.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I was like, bro, this is getting crazy. And he
- 20:35Speaker 2: would have broke the record.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I think it's actually like, I get the Eagles earn
- 20:40Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, Yeah, but the year would have been
- 20:43Speaker 1: even crazier if they would have just len him.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Break the record, just let him and I mean, I
- 20:48Speaker 2: get it, like the injuries and all that stuff. I'm like, yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 2: they should have let him broke the record. They should
- 20:53Speaker 2: have because I'm like that that's a record that's that
- 20:55Speaker 2: hasn't been broken since the eighties.
- 20:59Speaker 3: That's insane. Yeah, that's insane.
- 21:02Speaker 2: So like, but you played on I mean like you
- 21:06Speaker 2: what what do you what do you look at like
- 21:07Speaker 2: in a running back you know that run this on
- 21:09Speaker 2: this topic, so like would you rather play the guys
- 21:13Speaker 2: like who you just named or like the Derrick Henry's.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Nick Chubbs, like those ground and pound where it's just.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Like bro it really just depends on the team, like
- 21:25Speaker 1: what the team is known for.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so like when you're.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Getting ready to play, like it's different type of run
- 21:35Speaker 1: stuns like like and this what this is what makes
- 21:40Speaker 1: teams very good And that's why Saquan is dynamic and
- 21:42Speaker 1: the Eagles because the Eagles are a very pro style offense,
- 21:46Speaker 1: so they're not running a whole lot of downhill You're
- 21:49Speaker 1: not getting a whole lot of down hill blocks. Everything's
- 21:51Speaker 1: outreach blocks. Everything's like we'll try to make a gap
- 21:54Speaker 1: and let him find his way because he's the league.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You know what I mean that's so you'd rather play
- 22:00Speaker 1: offense like that, But when you're playing like a downhill
- 22:03Speaker 1: football team as a two hundred and forty pound rusher,
- 22:07Speaker 1: two hundred and forty pound rusher is like, all right,
- 22:08Speaker 1: this is gonna be a long day. Strap your chin,
- 22:11Speaker 1: strap all the way up, put the mouth piece, saying
- 22:14Speaker 1: get ready to get the ice backs next week.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but they give you, but they give you like freedom.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I feel like like because we were we were I
- 22:22Speaker 2: was preparing to play you, so like we were all preparing, like.
- 22:27Speaker 3: We got we walking on one.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Day eleven elite like and we just know that you
- 22:33Speaker 2: play everywhere, so like for a run game, we have
- 22:36Speaker 2: to like put that in account too, and we got
- 22:40Speaker 2: to change some things up and how we you know,
- 22:42Speaker 2: who we want to put on you? And because I'm like,
- 22:45Speaker 2: but I mean that's just to say that, but yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 2: I mean different rushers.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Like I was very borderline on that game. Like it
- 22:52Speaker 1: was like I could be back, but I'm not like
- 22:55Speaker 1: one hundred percent, and you didn't want to reaggravate it
- 22:58Speaker 1: by put me out there too early. It was smart,
- 23:01Speaker 1: so like it was very borderline.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, no doubt, I was, like I was like, Bro,
- 23:07Speaker 2: I just I just could a way to play out
- 23:08Speaker 2: because obviously you and you know how how we are
- 23:11Speaker 2: in our relationship.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And then like the Marbian which he.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Was a little crazy. Bro.
- 23:15Speaker 3: He was heck was bro. He was everywhere like the market.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You want to know how bad the running back pay is?
- 23:22Speaker 1: Right now?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Bro, it's bad. Man.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I was talking to one of my basketball friends. He's
- 23:28Speaker 1: he lives in Orlando, Paulo. Of course he went the
- 23:31Speaker 1: duke and I was like, you know what. He was like, Man,
- 23:37Speaker 1: it's actually sad, Bro, it's actually sad, like where the
- 23:43Speaker 1: running back market is. And he actually knew a lot
- 23:44Speaker 1: about football, like he's a big football guy, which is cool.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And he was like he was like, isn't say Quan
- 23:50Speaker 1: only making like thirteen million dollars a year? And I
- 23:53Speaker 1: was like, bro, I was like yeah, he was like
- 23:55Speaker 1: the seventh man on our bench makes thirteen million dollars
- 23:57Speaker 1: a year, the seventh.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Man, the seventh man man, this seventh man.
- 24:01Speaker 1: He was like, it's just crazy. How y'all don't get
- 24:04Speaker 1: paid like that? Like he was like someone like me, like,
- 24:07Speaker 1: I'm obviously you know caning me good, but like he
- 24:09Speaker 1: was like, there's no way a top player should be
- 24:11Speaker 1: making thirty million hours.
- 24:13Speaker 2: He's, bro He's the number one player in all honesty.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Bro Like, he's the number one offensive player player in
- 24:18Speaker 2: the league right now, right now, he is the number
- 24:21Speaker 2: one player.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I think he was the best. I think between him
- 24:24Speaker 1: and Joe Burrow were the best players this year.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Yeah, hands down, bro Like.
- 24:29Speaker 2: But I you know, I liked what the running backs
- 24:32Speaker 2: did this year because like last year, they were trying
- 24:35Speaker 2: to make it the argument, but this year it was like,
- 24:37Speaker 2: you know, you had a two thousand yard rusher, you
- 24:40Speaker 2: had a nineteen hundred yard rusher, you had three fourteen
- 24:44Speaker 2: hundred yards like and then obviously like me and Gibbs,
- 24:47Speaker 2: like you know, we were both over eight hundred eighteen
- 24:53Speaker 2: hundred for like all purpose. So we're trying to make
- 24:55Speaker 2: the position like come back obviously. But you know, see
- 24:59Speaker 2: from there.
- 25:00Speaker 1: We gotta take your break. We gotta get into our
- 25:02Speaker 1: truth or Not segment. Let's get into our truth or
- 25:04Speaker 1: Not segment. Brought to you by HBO series The White Lotus,
- 25:08Speaker 1: A new season welcomes you to Thailand and Premiere's February
- 25:11Speaker 1: sixteenth through Max. I'll say a statement and tell me
- 25:14Speaker 1: if it's true or not? And why the Falcons will
- 25:18Speaker 1: win the NFC South next season.
- 25:20Speaker 3: True?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Okay, the Chiefs will win the Super Bowl become the
- 25:26Speaker 1: first team NFL just three p it's false.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Why I just think the egos are are two explosives. No,
- 25:35Speaker 2: I got the Chiefs, but that's biased because NFC what East?
- 25:41Speaker 1: No I said the same thing two years ago. I
- 25:44Speaker 1: took the Chiefs again.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Okay, I'll take es not.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm always gonna take the Chiefs because coaching beats talent
- 25:54Speaker 1: and they got the best OC and the best DC Stags.
- 25:57Speaker 1: It's crazy. Andy Reid might be its Internet goat conversation,
- 26:01Speaker 1: the best coach of all time.
- 26:04Speaker 3: It's the best the cordnerat I've ever played in my life.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And I'm gonna put like this, the Eagles are as
- 26:11Speaker 1: talented or the more talent or more talented m hmm,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I say as talented as the San Francisco forty nine
- 26:20Speaker 1: ers were last year offensively? Offensively, Yeah for sure, tell
- 26:26Speaker 1: me if I'm wrong. Right, Like Brandon was an All
- 26:29Speaker 1: Pro year, you can say that's a J. B. Brown,
- 26:33Speaker 1: Deebo Sam, you been an All Pro, you can say
- 26:35Speaker 1: that's been Smith Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley area you.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Have the line is better than.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, God, like they match up. Their offensive line play
- 26:49Speaker 1: is a little bit better, but it's Jurgen's playing. Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 1: I mean right, so now you're leaving. You know, Kansas
- 26:57Speaker 1: City's front ain't no joke now, like they ain't no
- 27:00Speaker 1: walking the park like, but knows how to Like I
- 27:03Speaker 1: think they held Christian McCaffrey to thirty carries and eighty
- 27:06Speaker 1: five yards or what was I mean yards?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it was five or eighty rushing yards.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Spass can hold Christian McCaffrey.
- 27:15Speaker 3: He can hold, can hold, Bro, he can hold, he
- 27:18Speaker 3: can hold.
- 27:19Speaker 1: She's got some corners, Watson McDuffie, like, they got some dbs.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Due they played.
- 27:23Speaker 2: They played team team defense, So I'm like, that's that's
- 27:27Speaker 2: what helps them so much. And their blitz packages are
- 27:31Speaker 2: out of this world. Blitz from fourth and five, fourth
- 27:35Speaker 2: and five and it worked. I'm like, bro, he did
- 27:38Speaker 2: that against us. Damn near work. I was like, yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 2: I'm taking due. This dude knows how to do it.
- 27:45Speaker 2: He knows how to do it.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm taking cheese. Bro. Coaching coach. People try to undermine coaching,
- 27:51Speaker 1: Like yeah, it's the players, but your coaches are always
- 27:53Speaker 1: going to put you the best situations they will And
- 27:56Speaker 1: he's gonna make when they came to know, he's gonna
- 28:00Speaker 1: make Jalen Hurts.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Taylor Hurts beat them. I'm sorry, Yeah, same thing.
- 28:02Speaker 1: They were pretty He's gonna.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Trying to make Jalen Hurts try to beat them. And
- 28:07Speaker 3: I'm like, that's.
- 28:09Speaker 1: What I'm saying.
- 28:10Speaker 3: But that's a lot of Blizz packing his brother b.
- 28:13Speaker 1: The one thing I say about the Chiefs, they always
- 28:15Speaker 1: find a way.
- 28:15Speaker 3: They find a way.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I'm not I'm never gonna go a guesst it, but
- 28:18Speaker 1: to they break, I don't.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Know how either. I'm like, I don't know, I don't know.
- 28:22Speaker 1: We'll see you neither. All Right, what was your reaction
- 28:26Speaker 1: to the end of the end of the AMC Championship game.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I mean, the brothers, the Brothers and and uh Josh Allen, Like,
- 28:40Speaker 2: I just I just wish they got it, man like,
- 28:42Speaker 2: because they just needed that that conversion.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 1: No, I'm not gonna lie I needed to Chiefs to win.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Chiefs fans something like.
- 28:50Speaker 1: No, no, no, I just knew comparables, the Chiefs are
- 28:55Speaker 1: a better match up for the Eagles. We can't make
- 28:58Speaker 1: the Eagles win even you know, say we can't let
- 29:00Speaker 1: the Eagles one.
- 29:02Speaker 3: But why, like, look at this, bro, like he almost
- 29:04Speaker 3: caught this. Like if he caught that, brother, the game,
- 29:07Speaker 3: Mark Change called it. The game changes.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Mark Andrews almost called it, the game would be way different.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I might be saying I would have took Lamar and
- 29:15Speaker 1: Super Bowl to knock off.
- 29:16Speaker 2: The Eagles both matchups though, like.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I would have took Work, I would have took Baltimore
- 29:21Speaker 1: or Kansas City. I don't think Bills be Eagles. They're
- 29:23Speaker 1: not explosive enough.
- 29:25Speaker 3: They're not explosive enough.
- 29:26Speaker 1: They're not explosive enough.
- 29:28Speaker 3: I think they are. But they have a great run game.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I mean, the Eagles has the number one run defense
- 29:35Speaker 1: in the league right now.
- 29:36Speaker 2: They're right, you're right, Yeah, it would have been tough. But
- 29:40Speaker 2: the Chiefs offense though, is like you know, and that's
- 29:44Speaker 2: another reason why I think it's enough.
- 29:46Speaker 1: It's enough. They got scheme coaching.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Like, nah, no, I think they're gonna get locked. Bro.
- 29:52Speaker 1: The Chiefs won the Super Bowl last year with me
- 29:57Speaker 1: Cole Harman sky Moore.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know how they be doing it?
- 30:01Speaker 1: And what was it Juju Smith. Yeah, I think I
- 30:05Speaker 1: don't think explosion really mattersful. It only mattered when they
- 30:08Speaker 1: had Tyrek kill.
- 30:09Speaker 3: They don't look at this.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Look was out there, Bro, Travis Kelsey, Bro, he I
- 30:15Speaker 2: don't understand.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Like they just got scheme, like they didn't have anticipation.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Coach Like, Bro, I'm sorry, I don't think that mastered him.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yo's appreciow. You was telling me about Michael Pennix man,
- 30:27Speaker 1: he said he never takes the do rag? Does he
- 30:30Speaker 1: have ways? Like does he have the best ways we
- 30:32Speaker 1: ever seen before? Is there like some is there like
- 30:34Speaker 1: a hidden thing about it? Like what's going on with that?
- 30:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Like when I tell you this man doesn't take off
- 30:43Speaker 2: his do rag, he does not, like he does not
- 30:46Speaker 2: take it off. But I'm telling you like ah and
- 30:50Speaker 2: and you know I don't be looking or nothing. But
- 30:54Speaker 2: you know we were going into the to the to
- 30:57Speaker 2: the sauna, and you know everybody usually take it off, bro,
- 31:00Speaker 2: because that's you don't want your hair to like smell her.
- 31:03Speaker 2: None of that, Bro is just in the sauna, broaches
- 31:06Speaker 2: do rag on. I was like like, Bro, like you
- 31:12Speaker 2: got to take it off at some point. I mean,
- 31:14Speaker 2: how many do we're gonna use in a week.
- 31:18Speaker 1: How many do rags?
- 31:18Speaker 2: He got a lot, every color, Bro, Like come with
- 31:22Speaker 2: a purple dow rag one day?
- 31:23Speaker 1: So whatever do rag? Heard the word hes not taking
- 31:27Speaker 1: it off before practice, after practice, he sauna shower.
- 31:31Speaker 2: He ain't taken it off. He's not seeing Mic taking
- 31:34Speaker 2: off that do rag. And you know, I respect it, Bro,
- 31:37Speaker 2: because I'm like, you know what if you got committed
- 31:40Speaker 2: to something like stage, stay committed to it. Nah, Man,
- 31:44Speaker 2: he ain't taken off the do rag. I'm just gonna stay.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna snatch it off one day, like just in practice,
- 31:50Speaker 2: like see like she was going on.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Nah, this this is a hidden mystery. It really is,
- 31:57Speaker 1: like Michael Pennings, we're offering you a money reward. We'll
- 32:02Speaker 1: send it to the d M for you to come
- 32:04Speaker 1: on the show and take off.
- 32:05Speaker 2: The do and take off the doctor and Mike. But
- 32:08Speaker 2: you know, I appreciate you not. But the world got
- 32:11Speaker 2: to see.
- 32:11Speaker 3: We got to see what underneath what is going on.
- 32:14Speaker 2: You know, if it's ways, if it's bro money reward and.
- 32:21Speaker 1: You'll get time to get your hair right, you got
- 32:23Speaker 1: to see what's under the doct This has been a
- 32:26Speaker 1: hidden mystery since college.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yes, bro, like, he has not taken it off. That's
- 32:31Speaker 2: his hairstyle at this point, like the do rag hairstyle.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Just you know, because I'm like this, this man will
- 32:38Speaker 2: never take it off. It will be absurd, It'll be
- 32:41Speaker 2: it will behold me if he if he wears it.
- 32:43Speaker 1: At home, he gotta he gotta take it off.
- 32:48Speaker 3: He be insaved.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Bro Like, if he wears oh to bed, I'm all right,
- 32:53Speaker 2: we got a problem because you say he has to
- 32:56Speaker 2: take it off. You know, no, yeah, that might have
- 33:01Speaker 2: been the great band.
- 33:03Speaker 1: The future looks bright for y'all, though, you know, all
- 33:06Speaker 1: jokes aside. Do you think making Penis was the starter
- 33:08Speaker 1: was the right move?
- 33:10Speaker 2: You know, I think like just for the time time
- 33:13Speaker 2: it was, I mean, yeah, just you know, we Kirk's
- 33:18Speaker 2: like a bro He's a He's a really good teammate.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Dog Like, Kirk's a really good teammate. Just how he
- 33:25Speaker 2: you know, got a call and you know they he
- 33:28Speaker 2: was accepted of it, and you know, for him to
- 33:32Speaker 2: be a vet like that and to like, you know,
- 33:34Speaker 2: just take a step back, you know to Mike, that's
- 33:38Speaker 2: that gives me a lot of respect, because, bro, like
- 33:41Speaker 2: any quarterback that's in a starting position for uh and
- 33:44Speaker 2: played in the league for that long and has to
- 33:46Speaker 2: like become the number two guy. Bro, they probably like,
- 33:49Speaker 2: I want to leave the team be pissed off.
- 33:52Speaker 1: But he helped.
- 33:53Speaker 3: But he helped him. I was like, that's that's real.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I've been a big fan of Kirk since the NFL
- 33:58Speaker 1: Show showed. He tell me a lot about YEP.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I mean, he's a good dude man like beause I'm like,
- 34:05Speaker 2: you have the whole world like talking against you, and
- 34:07Speaker 2: then you're still like the most positive guy.
- 34:11Speaker 3: That's respect.
- 34:11Speaker 1: But how do you feel though you guys the facton
- 34:14Speaker 1: became the first team to ever have a three hundred
- 34:15Speaker 1: yard passer, one hundred and seventy five yard receiver, one
- 34:18Speaker 1: hundred and fifty yard rush in a single game. Who
- 34:20Speaker 1: are all under twenty five years old? Yeah, would you
- 34:23Speaker 1: say y'all in the future, y'all about to take over
- 34:25Speaker 1: the NFL? Bro?
- 34:27Speaker 2: God willing Yes, because you know it's just like even
- 34:31Speaker 2: in practice, Bro, like just how how we operate and
- 34:35Speaker 2: how we've been operating obviously, you know we we we
- 34:38Speaker 2: were a game late, a game too short, but I
- 34:43Speaker 2: think we could do some some incredible things, and then
- 34:45Speaker 2: we even got Mooney on the other side, Darnell Mooney
- 34:48Speaker 2: like on the other side, and the Ray Ray. You know,
- 34:51Speaker 2: I think I think it's it's an explosive group. I
- 34:54Speaker 2: think it is.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Wow. That's that that really really really says a lot.
- 34:58Speaker 2: But I mean, I can't be talking like we gotta
- 34:59Speaker 2: we gotta go out there and do it. You know
- 35:01Speaker 2: how it is like we can say as much as
- 35:03Speaker 2: we want, but we still got to go out there
- 35:05Speaker 2: and improve it.
- 35:07Speaker 1: But you know, Bijon, that that's pretty much shit. I
- 35:10Speaker 1: want to thank you. This episode is brought to you
- 35:12Speaker 1: by HBO original series The White Lotus, a new season
- 35:16Speaker 1: premiere February sixteenth, through Max. Thank you Byjon. Yes, sir,

- 35:22Speaker 1: you were going against when you were little, taking advantage
- 35:24Speaker 1: those little kids like that. It's not right years old
- 35:27Speaker 1: play pee wee football. It's something that we will never
- 35:31Speaker 1: forget on this show. And uh, you know we played
- 35:34Speaker 1: players like your.
