- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod which Teddy Mellencamp and cam
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ridge Edge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: All right, Hello, good morning to our two teas and
- 0:18Speaker 2: a pod flashback subscribers. We are happy to bring you
- 0:23Speaker 2: another pod where you have no commercial breaks and it's
- 0:26Speaker 2: just me and Tam recapping from the beginning on.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I know this.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Episode, I really feel like we should be wearing skytops.
- 0:34Speaker 3: We should be wearing skytops for those who are watching along.
- 0:38Speaker 3: This is episode five and six, and I got to say,
- 0:42Speaker 3: I'm ready for season three when you make your arrival.
- 0:45Speaker 3: But I'm pushing through. I'm pushing through.
- 0:46Speaker 4: I know it's a little bit difficult. The show seems
- 0:49Speaker 4: to be like the quality of it is very dark
- 0:52Speaker 4: and grainy and cheesy, and the clothes are horrible. But
- 0:56Speaker 4: it's fun for me to watch back. And all the
- 0:59Speaker 4: rest of most of them now have been closed down.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I was gonna say, how many are even still open?
- 1:05Speaker 4: At this riptide? Riptide is still open.
- 1:08Speaker 3: That's what the other one. I mean, it is pretty hilarious.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So episode five is cut the pee and limb out
- 1:17Speaker 3: the problem, and you get Rob.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Cut the pee and let out the problem and you
- 1:23Speaker 4: get Rob. Is that, yo, can you break that down
- 1:27Speaker 4: for me because I'm not understanding it.
- 1:28Speaker 3: The synopsis for this episode, It's a real doozy. Gina's
- 1:32Speaker 3: son breaks his hand, Kimberly hires a dog guru, Joe
- 1:36Speaker 3: struggles to keep up with her responsibilities around the house,
- 1:40Speaker 3: and Vicky interrupts Brianna's date. Lorie's son is released from
- 1:44Speaker 3: juvenile hall.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I mean did this episode stort out
- 1:49Speaker 4: with just a bunch of dogs?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Yeah? Could you imagine? Like I granted, there was a
- 1:53Speaker 3: full season of Beverly Hills that was involved around Lucy
- 1:56Speaker 3: Lucy Apple Juicy.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I remember that one, but this was different.
- 2:02Speaker 4: This was just a lot of picking up dog shit,
- 2:05Speaker 4: is what it was.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Well know what I thought. The one thing was Kimberly's
- 2:10Speaker 3: dog wasn't wrong for destroying those Oakley's Oakley's need to go.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Oh.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Eddie loves his Oakley, so does cruise. Like the sports ones,
- 2:19Speaker 4: he doesn't wear them like every day, but if he's
- 2:21Speaker 4: cycling or motocross or anything like that, he has that.
- 2:24Speaker 4: They're big though they're like ski goggles.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Well, the ski goggles ones are more doable than like
- 2:29Speaker 3: the ones that go like this, But like I got
- 2:31Speaker 3: this handy dandy thing from Amazon that you like, hang
- 2:34Speaker 3: all your sunglasses on. I haven't, and I have all
- 2:37Speaker 3: my cute ones like hung and then Cruise day by
- 2:40Speaker 3: Day removes one of my pairs and adds in his
- 2:43Speaker 3: little like knock off Oakley's from Target. And I'm like, Buddy,
- 2:48Speaker 3: I thought the other day I just grabbed a pair
- 2:50Speaker 3: of sunglasses, and then I got to where I was going.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I'm like, freaking Cruise, But he's damn Oakley's in my thing.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Oh my god, I think I might have a couple
- 2:59Speaker 4: of pairs of Oakley in the garage somewhere.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Please know, maybe our next episode should be dedicated to
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oakley's and we wear them the entire episode.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Please.
- 3:06Speaker 3: In Skytops, Well, it starts out Gina's son, Colton, punched
- 3:10Speaker 3: his friend in the face because his friend was smoking marijuana.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Colton is called an Orange County baby, which upset him.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Colton tells Gina he will kick her ass if she
- 3:21Speaker 3: calls his friend's mom to tell her about the marijuana.
- 3:25Speaker 3: What would you do if your child threatened to kick
- 3:27Speaker 3: your ass?
- 3:28Speaker 4: Well, first of all, they wouldn't, those words would never
- 3:31Speaker 4: come out of their mouth. But Gina's kids were always
- 3:32Speaker 4: so respectful to her on camera, always always, could you
- 3:36Speaker 4: imagine I don't know if they were acting up for
- 3:38Speaker 4: the camera or if they're worse when the cameras went around,
- 3:41Speaker 4: but they were.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I mean, even when they're like, mom, google the word now,
- 3:45Speaker 3: and by the way, they kept googling the wrong word.
- 3:47Speaker 3: They were like trying to say, maybe she was conscious
- 3:51Speaker 3: of that, but then they thought it was conscientious, and
- 3:53Speaker 3: then they but they couldn't say any of the words,
- 3:55Speaker 3: and then it was like contusion. I was like, guys,
- 3:58Speaker 3: but even they're saying like, now do it. I was like,
- 4:01Speaker 3: oh my gosh, I don't believe in spankings, but I
- 4:03Speaker 3: was about to spank those kids. But in another note, Tam,
- 4:07Speaker 3: I feel like I'm gonna start calling you an Orange
- 4:09Speaker 3: County Orange County baby. Whenever, Oh well.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Well.
- 4:14Speaker 4: You can tell that Colton is definitely the golden child
- 4:17Speaker 4: in that family. He's the fastest, he's the brightest. G
- 4:21Speaker 4: you know, would go on the then the husband would
- 4:23Speaker 4: say he's a perfect athlete, and the other ones were like, yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 4: he ain't so good. Could you imagine watching that on TV?
- 4:29Speaker 4: Being one of their children and that one of the
- 4:32Speaker 4: other kids. I know, he's a perfect kid, he's a
- 4:35Speaker 4: perfect athlete. He does everything right, and it's like, oh
- 4:38Speaker 4: my god. Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 1: No.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Even watching this, I'm like, this really takes me back
- 4:42Speaker 3: to the time of like when I thought it was
- 4:44Speaker 3: a good idea to drink an Apple martini. Like every
- 4:48Speaker 3: single one of these drinks they order, they're like, I'll
- 4:51Speaker 3: have a Long Island iced tea or oh Martini and
- 4:55Speaker 3: I'll have a linen drop. Essentially all have the worst
- 4:58Speaker 3: hangover known to man.
- 5:00Speaker 4: The sugar possibly. Yeah, do you have any BB shirts
- 5:04Speaker 4: left over from the early two thousands?
- 5:07Speaker 3: I I don't think that I do, but I do
- 5:10Speaker 3: remember the controversy between me and my friends if it
- 5:14Speaker 3: was BB or bebe.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Oh it was BB.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Well, I was always wrong, you know, I'm the one
- 5:20Speaker 3: that oh yeah, okay, I thought that was Sheen Jean.
- 5:28Speaker 4: She In Girl she In.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But then Lorie's son Josh did not go home after
- 5:34Speaker 3: round two of his hearing. Laurie thinks she could have
- 5:36Speaker 3: prevented this if he had gotten a lawyer, but she
- 5:39Speaker 3: wanted to teach him a lesson. But then Josh is
- 5:42Speaker 3: finally released from juvenile hall after the third hearing and
- 5:45Speaker 3: he realizes he needs to fix himself. Do you do
- 5:50Speaker 3: you think she should have gotten a lawyer or do
- 5:52Speaker 3: you think it made no difference either way?
- 5:57Speaker 4: No, I probably wouldn't have. I probably wouldn't have. I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 4: he did it. It wasn't anything, wasn't a crazy crime, right.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Well, I think clearly if he was taking drugs or
- 6:07Speaker 3: whatever he was potentially doing partying.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Now being in jail for a week or however long
- 6:12Speaker 4: he was in there, you would think that it would
- 6:15Speaker 4: he would need that.
- 6:16Speaker 3: But I don't believe that was the first time. Correct.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I feel bad for him watching it, because you can
- 6:21Speaker 3: tell you has a good heart, Like when he comes out,
- 6:23Speaker 3: he's remorseful, like, yeah, he.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Loves so little much like LORII. They look like twins.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I would have a difficult time as a mom. I
- 6:33Speaker 4: have to give LORI credit for putting that on TV,
- 6:36Speaker 4: because that's something that was obviously going to hang with
- 6:39Speaker 4: them the rest of his life.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Well. I think also at this time in the world
- 6:43Speaker 3: of reality television, I don't think the women were quite
- 6:45Speaker 3: so savvy about what to show about their lives and
- 6:48Speaker 3: what not to show. I think they were just like, well,
- 6:50Speaker 3: you didn't know.
- 6:51Speaker 4: I mean even as a new housepipe. When they come
- 6:53Speaker 4: in and you see them showing certain things or talking
- 6:55Speaker 4: about certain things, you're like, oh, you're going to regret that.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Yeah, like the show, the public is so rough and
- 7:00Speaker 3: so mean, and well know what, I would have regretted
- 7:03Speaker 3: being slayed and showing that I had this many costumes. Like,
- 7:07Speaker 3: if you have that many costumes, you should be working
- 7:10Speaker 3: on Hollywood as Spider Man. I have a question, was
- 7:14Speaker 3: it this episode or the next episode when they go
- 7:16Speaker 3: furniture shopping.
- 7:19Speaker 4: When his parents he calls the Crumpets come in town.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I don't know, but that was always a laughing, laughing,
- 7:25Speaker 4: cringey moment. I think it's on next episode within the
- 7:30Speaker 4: Housewife franchise. Within the cast, we shows his black card
- 7:35Speaker 4: and says he closed down. It's like, oh my god,
- 7:39Speaker 4: you're a douche.
- 7:40Speaker 3: All right, wait, I guess that is the next episode,
- 7:42Speaker 3: So we'll wait, We'll wait.
- 7:44Speaker 4: How about Vicky showing up at her daughter's lunch with Colby.
- 7:52Speaker 4: That's intense and it's not even for TV. That's how
- 7:55Speaker 4: she was all the time.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Well, she says she worries that Brianna is clinging on
- 8:00Speaker 3: to her boyfriend because she does not have any other
- 8:03Speaker 3: men in her life. And then why do you think
- 8:06Speaker 3: Vicky isn't considering Don as a father figure for Brianna?
- 8:10Speaker 4: I don't you know, I can kind of understand it
- 8:13Speaker 4: a little bit. I mean, even though Vicky and Don
- 8:17Speaker 4: got married when the children were young, if she's never young,
- 8:20Speaker 4: I don't remember, to be honest with you, but I
- 8:23Speaker 4: think five seven something like that, they were around that age.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Having a stepfather come into the picture is always confusing
- 8:32Speaker 4: to the kids, since confusing to the stepparent as well
- 8:34Speaker 4: as you know, where are your boundaries? What are you
- 8:37Speaker 4: allowed to do? What should you do? Do you discipline?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Do not discipline? In you know, in this situation, they
- 8:42Speaker 4: had no communication with her father, so they didn't really
- 8:46Speaker 4: have a father figure. And she said, I don't know
- 8:48Speaker 4: it was he my dad or is he my mom's husband.
- 8:51Speaker 4: So I think that's very common in a lot of
- 8:54Speaker 4: families that have stepparents.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Well, I couldn't help but think that maybe Brianna was
- 8:59Speaker 3: clinging on to Colby to maybe get a little distance
- 9:03Speaker 3: from the vixt her.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Oh, you can tell by the way she looks at
- 9:05Speaker 4: her mom talks in her mom rolls her eyes and
- 9:07Speaker 4: her mom that she was just not having it.
- 9:09Speaker 3: She's like, Mom, go do this some more alone.
- 9:13Speaker 4: I remember, I know where that restaurant is. It's no
- 9:16Speaker 4: longer there, but over in the lake, over in Ranches
- 9:18Speaker 4: Santa Margarita, by Carmelita's. Well.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Then I had to google to see if Colby is
- 9:25Speaker 3: the same guy that Brianna is married to now, and
- 9:28Speaker 3: you know it's not.
- 9:30Speaker 4: They broke They were together a long time from high
- 9:33Speaker 4: school and then they broke up. And I think she
- 9:36Speaker 4: met Ryan. I don't think there was somebody in between.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I might be wrong, though, so she may just be
- 9:41Speaker 3: a relationship gal. Then Kimberly goes to get her goes
- 9:46Speaker 3: to her doctor to get her mole checked, and he
- 9:48Speaker 3: chooses to do a biopsy. The doctor calls later in
- 9:51Speaker 3: the week and tells her that the biopsy is malignant.
- 9:54Speaker 3: This is her fifth malignant melanoma, and Kimberly says she
- 9:59Speaker 3: is not afraid of dying, She's afraid of leaving her family.
- 10:05Speaker 4: I mean, I mean, I'm afraid of dying and leaving
- 10:07Speaker 4: my family. I'm afraid of all the things, all the things.
- 10:12Speaker 3: What was your first thought when you got your diagnosis
- 10:15Speaker 3: with melanomas.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Oh, I cried.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I was in the car.
- 10:17Speaker 4: I was going to pick the kids up from school
- 10:19Speaker 4: elementary school, I think it was. And the doctor called
- 10:22Speaker 4: me like a week later. I didn't think anything was wrong,
- 10:24Speaker 4: and she's like, hey, that little spot and I'm like, yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 4: because that's melanoma. And I'm like what, it's very In fact,
- 10:30Speaker 4: I had a fan reach out to me that just
- 10:32Speaker 4: got diagnosed with melanoma and I don't even think it
- 10:34Speaker 4: was stage one yet, but she was like just emotional
- 10:37Speaker 4: and was scared, and it's just a I don't know,
- 10:40Speaker 4: I think the first time you'd ever hear you know,
- 10:42Speaker 4: you have cancer on your body and your body whatever,
- 10:45Speaker 4: it takes you to a place like, oh my god,
- 10:47Speaker 4: because it spread, where's it gone? You know?
- 10:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 10:50Speaker 3: I mean for me, it was just the lack of
- 10:53Speaker 3: like obviously, anyone that knows me knows I'm quite controlled
- 10:56Speaker 3: human being. There's not many things that happened by chan ants. Yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 3: So not having any control over my continuous diagnosis and
- 11:08Speaker 3: not having control over like the way I feel. And
- 11:11Speaker 3: I'd have to say, also, a really hard thing for
- 11:13Speaker 3: me is when I'm sad or struggling or worried forcing
- 11:18Speaker 3: myself to slow down and feel those feelings. Yeah, you know,
- 11:21Speaker 3: like I just want to run away from them, like
- 11:23Speaker 3: let's make eighty two thousand work events and plans and
- 11:27Speaker 3: things with the kids and completely, you know, it's scary,
- 11:30Speaker 3: there's not off to it. And then all of a
- 11:32Speaker 3: sudden it hits you. I mean like you.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I had to go to an oncologist to you know,
- 11:37Speaker 4: have it removed, and they do counseling with you, and
- 11:41Speaker 4: they sit there and talk to you about how are
- 11:43Speaker 4: your feelings. It's like you're making me worse. That's how
- 11:45Speaker 4: my feeling hard alone.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Let's pretend this isn't happening.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I've been denial, Go away.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Excuse me. Don't mind the denial. I know, but now
- 11:53Speaker 3: I can say that the positive is any time I
- 11:57Speaker 3: am outside, I am so uber aware of making sure
- 12:00Speaker 3: that my skin is covered in a way that I
- 12:04Speaker 3: never cared about before.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Right, And of course you go in every three months
- 12:09Speaker 4: or every six months, whatever you're at right now, and
- 12:12Speaker 4: you know you already know right now you're good. If
- 12:15Speaker 4: you have something else, you're going to catch it early.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Then Slade puts together a date for him and
- 12:21Speaker 3: Joe after she surprised him on Father's Day on the
- 12:25Speaker 3: debt on the date, they made a bet. If Joe wins,
- 12:28Speaker 3: she gets a new Louis Vuitton bag. If Slade wins,
- 12:31Speaker 3: Joe has to dress up in a Fridge made costume
- 12:34Speaker 3: to clean the house.
- 12:36Speaker 4: The Slade and Joe scenes are so cringey, and after
- 12:39Speaker 4: talking to Joe, she's got to look back because she's
- 12:41Speaker 4: nothing like that now.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I know she was young, twenty three, twenty four, but
- 12:46Speaker 3: as Slave said, that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Quit
- 12:48Speaker 3: using that as an excuse.
- 12:49Speaker 4: No, but it is an excuse. You're twenty four years old.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I have. But I also wanted to do you think
- 12:54Speaker 3: she's playing to the camera?
- 12:55Speaker 4: Yes, I do. I think that she didn't know what
- 12:57Speaker 4: she was doing. And the honeys and the babies and
- 12:59Speaker 4: you're so was making me want to barf in the
- 13:02Speaker 4: entire time. You know, it's like, it looks like Slate
- 13:05Speaker 4: is her dad.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Well also then she obviously loses the butt, so then
- 13:10Speaker 3: she has to put on the French made costume.
- 13:12Speaker 4: And I'm like, and they play they play the porn music.
- 13:15Speaker 3: They played the music. I'm like, it feels like Joe
- 13:18Speaker 3: needs to take out the trash and I don't mean
- 13:22Speaker 3: the garbage back. Yeah, like it's time. You can feel
- 13:26Speaker 3: it brelling.
- 13:27Speaker 4: So next episode she's done with him.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Hello, that did not last long?
- 13:34Speaker 3: No, the world, they're done by episode six? How long
- 13:37Speaker 3: before they started filming were they together?
- 13:41Speaker 4: I don't know. That's a good question, Well, they were engaged.
- 13:44Speaker 3: What are your thoughts about Heather continuously saying that she
- 13:47Speaker 3: wants Gretchen back. Do you think she's doing that just
- 13:50Speaker 3: to get at you?
- 13:51Speaker 4: Oh? One thousand percent. And people are saying that because
- 13:54Speaker 4: she's never liked Gretchen and she never hung out with
- 13:56Speaker 4: Gretchen and now she's mad at me, so she's wanting
- 13:59Speaker 4: her to come back. I mean, just what we need.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Well, this, I've just I've been wondering. I was like,
- 14:04Speaker 3: were they even close? They don't even seem when you
- 14:07Speaker 3: think about Heather and you think about Gretchen, they don't
- 14:09Speaker 3: even seem like a match that would fit.
- 14:12Speaker 4: No, no, it doesn't. But then again, does Heather and
- 14:15Speaker 4: Gina look like they're best friends?
- 14:17Speaker 3: Well, apparently Gina is having issues with Shannon and with Heather.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Well, Gina's been going out on her Instagram, I mean,
- 14:25Speaker 4: on her interviews and seeing some kind of gnarly stuff
- 14:29Speaker 4: and on our interview questions the confessionals, she's contradicting herself
- 14:34Speaker 4: all the time. So she's the one that brought up
- 14:35Speaker 4: the Jen Ryan stuff four episodes in, and then as
- 14:37Speaker 4: soon as I get involved, she's like, Oh, I think
- 14:39Speaker 4: Tamor's trying to ruin you.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I know.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I'm like, what are you doing? I know? And Nana's
- 14:56Speaker 3: We're going to move on to season one, episode six.
- 15:00Speaker 3: This title is much easier for me to read. It
- 15:02Speaker 3: is shocking news.
- 15:04Speaker 4: What is the shocking news? We know?
- 15:06Speaker 3: We know? But the synopsis from this episode is Kimberly
- 15:10Speaker 3: waits for some news from the doctor. Slade gets a
- 15:13Speaker 3: visit from his parents, and there are v Vicki attends
- 15:16Speaker 3: her high school reunion, and then Laurie wants to be
- 15:18Speaker 3: invited to a party at the Playboy mansion. That killed me.
- 15:23Speaker 3: You want to know why it killed me? Is because
- 15:27Speaker 3: I have done that? Stop it?
- 15:29Speaker 4: Can I I need the pictures?
- 15:31Speaker 3: Oh, I don't even know if it's I had another
- 15:34Speaker 3: celebrity makeout there. That's all I can tell you.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Who, And.
- 15:39Speaker 3: You won't even know who he was, but I was
- 15:41Speaker 3: like really into him. His name was, Oh my gosh,
- 15:45Speaker 3: did you see never been kissed? No, okay, it's with
- 15:50Speaker 3: Drew Barrymore. Shoot, what is his fricking name. It's like
- 15:54Speaker 3: Sean patt. It's not Sean Patrick's Flannery. It's Sean Penn. No, shit,
- 16:00Speaker 3: I can't remember. But then I, oh, no, his name
- 16:03Speaker 3: is Michael Vartan. Michael Vartan. But that was just a
- 16:09Speaker 3: one off at the Boyboy Mansion. It was just a
- 16:12Speaker 3: kiss for everyone involved.
- 16:14Speaker 4: But here is he still an actor?
- 16:18Speaker 3: I don't know. I haven't checked his IMDb, just like
- 16:20Speaker 3: I haven't checked Heathers.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Oh, he's cute.
- 16:24Speaker 3: It was really cute in the early nineties or late
- 16:26Speaker 3: nineties or whatever.
- 16:27Speaker 4: It was French American actor known for his role in
- 16:30Speaker 4: Michael Vaughan and the ABC Television action drama Alias. And
- 16:35Speaker 4: I see I see him here with Drew Barrymore.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yeah, because she was he was in that movie with her.
- 16:41Speaker 3: But anyways, he was super cute and we had a kiss.
- 16:44Speaker 3: But here's how you actually get in. So my friend
- 16:47Speaker 3: Kimbo that's what we all called her, already had her
- 16:50Speaker 3: in with the Hugh group. But anytime she wanted to
- 16:54Speaker 3: be able to bring a friend, we would have to
- 16:57Speaker 3: submit photos. So I remember, like, how embarrassing, And I mean,
- 17:04Speaker 3: let's were you like, No, I wore okay, you'll remember them, Okay,
- 17:12Speaker 3: So I wasn't in any sort of let's just say
- 17:15Speaker 3: I didn't look like Lori and her lingerie.
- 17:18Speaker 4: So I wore like, remember when those Victoria's Secret like
- 17:21Speaker 4: you were ones, didn't you.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:23Speaker 3: I wore like the Victoria's Secret that's kind of tight
- 17:25Speaker 3: up here and then flows out and it was like
- 17:27Speaker 3: a baby doll. Yeah, the baby doll lingerie. But I
- 17:31Speaker 3: remember having to take a picture, but we did like
- 17:33Speaker 3: a really close up and I was like, oh it
- 17:36Speaker 3: was I think I actually used one of my head
- 17:37Speaker 3: shots where I had my belly button ring showing real,
- 17:41Speaker 3: real cute.
- 17:42Speaker 4: There's got to be a picture out there somewhere. Find it.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm gonna ask her and then we
- 17:48Speaker 3: but then not just that, so then she got the
- 17:50Speaker 3: approval that she could bring me. But then you pull
- 17:52Speaker 3: into this parking garage near where Hugh's house is, and
- 17:56Speaker 3: then there's you have to leave your car there, and
- 17:58Speaker 3: then there's like twenty big party buses that like sit
- 18:01Speaker 3: there and then they there's a second check, like to
- 18:04Speaker 3: confirm that you have your I don't even know if
- 18:06Speaker 3: there was emails or what it was that you got in,
- 18:08Speaker 3: and so like we had the fear of God that
- 18:11Speaker 3: like I was gonna get turned away, like once we
- 18:13Speaker 3: were actually there, Yeah, fun I did. It was a blast.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I did not go in the grotto, but it was
- 18:20Speaker 3: a one and done for me. But then after that
- 18:23Speaker 3: you start getting invited to other things, like do you
- 18:25Speaker 3: want to come to Concord on Wednesday night? It'd sit
- 18:29Speaker 3: at Hugh's table and he just did all these like
- 18:33Speaker 3: slightly bizarre. I went twice, but he would do things
- 18:35Speaker 3: like everybody would be at the club and then he
- 18:38Speaker 3: would say like he needed his own food delivered from
- 18:41Speaker 3: a different location, and like we'd all be like, you know, dancing, partying,
- 18:46Speaker 3: like drinking vodka, like and he would have like this
- 18:49Speaker 3: meal delivered from whatever his place was, like in this
- 18:52Speaker 3: silver plattern. He'd just be like eating. He was like
- 18:54Speaker 3: a jillion years old, and I'm like the girls that
- 18:56Speaker 3: are actually close to him on the couch that are
- 18:59Speaker 3: really going for it, Like I am so confused.
- 19:02Speaker 4: But I went to a party once, but that was
- 19:05Speaker 4: like the what was that party called that you went
- 19:07Speaker 4: to or Laurie went to? Was there a name for it?
- 19:09Speaker 4: But you party? It was like it was like a midsummer.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Or something midsummer Night's dream or something that I can't remember,
- 19:16Speaker 3: but I had.
- 19:17Speaker 4: But I don't know what party I went to. But
- 19:19Speaker 4: I didn't have to sumit any pictures and it was
- 19:23Speaker 4: pretty cool. I was happy I got to do it.
- 19:25Speaker 4: That's where I met Denise Richards had. She had been
- 19:29Speaker 4: sending me messages on MySpace for quite some time.
- 19:35Speaker 3: And yeah, were you already on the show.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I was on the show.
- 19:39Speaker 3: And the way people communicated back then was through my space,
- 19:42Speaker 3: my face.
- 19:42Speaker 4: We didn't have Instagram, I don't Oh, they didn't even
- 19:46Speaker 4: have Facebook.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Who were your my Space? Top ten?
- 19:50Speaker 4: I do you think I remember? I remember? I just
- 19:53Speaker 4: remember my Space. She could like add music to it
- 19:56Speaker 4: and all that stuff. Oh, well, Edwin just with music.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Edwin just walked in, which reminded me, what were you
- 20:02Speaker 3: on MySpace?
- 20:03Speaker 1: Honey?
- 20:07Speaker 3: He used to brag that he was my Space man
- 20:10Speaker 3: on the week. That was his fame. He was like,
- 20:13Speaker 3: you know, one time I was my spaceman of the week,
- 20:16Speaker 3: and I was like, do you pay for that?
- 20:18Speaker 4: Like who owned my Space? Is that Zuckerberg? And then
- 20:22Speaker 4: he just moved on to it's like.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Eight years old when my Space was out. Do you
- 20:27Speaker 3: think he created friends here as well?
- 20:30Speaker 4: I don't know what that is. Is that a dating app?
- 20:32Speaker 1: No?
- 20:32Speaker 3: Friendster and MySpace, Like we're the same kind of timeframe. Okay,
- 20:36Speaker 3: but anyway, they're showing after Laurie's divorce, she was introduced
- 20:40Speaker 3: to Hugh and so she's having her friend pose for
- 20:44Speaker 3: the picture. She can get her friend it lor Lai.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Lor Lai was always that girl in the background that
- 20:49Speaker 4: was like the friend but she wasn't paid.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's always just like Laurie, how did my
- 20:54Speaker 3: titties look?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Laurie?
- 20:58Speaker 3: So I feel like I could dart a Twatz magazine
- 21:01Speaker 3: to really bring in the demographic for this pod, Like
- 21:05Speaker 3: let's get all of our sexiest pajamas which are like
- 21:08Speaker 3: our husband's t shirts. Yes, but yeah, mine would be
- 21:12Speaker 3: wet from my metopause sweat everage outfit. And let's do
- 21:19Speaker 3: a calendar or like something.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Oh, yes, that would sell well you know what, I'm
- 21:25Speaker 4: sorry if the calendar with the guys from New Jersey
- 21:31Speaker 4: can sell, well, we better.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Be able to sell a calendar wearing some pajama sets.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Could you imagine sitting there with your twenty year old
- 21:39Speaker 4: daughter talking about showing your butt at the Playboy Mansion
- 21:42Speaker 4: party like LORI was with Ashley, I'm.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Like, oh god, I was good. Then when Gina told
- 21:52Speaker 3: car to stop eating that, I thought, oh geez, that
- 21:55Speaker 3: would never fly Nowadays. I was like, let's buy all
- 21:58Speaker 3: this on things people cannot get away with me. Yeah, like,
- 22:01Speaker 3: remember how much.
- 22:02Speaker 4: You should we should make a tally of how many
- 22:03Speaker 4: things you cannot say anymore?
- 22:06Speaker 3: You will be canceled if you say the following things
- 22:08Speaker 3: from season one, then this part was so cringe for me.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Slade's parents visiting from Alaska and they're talking about Slade's
- 22:20Speaker 3: father questions why Joe would tie herself to a man
- 22:23Speaker 3: that has two children, doesn't know if it will last,
- 22:25Speaker 3: but she seems like a wonderful girl. And then Slade
- 22:29Speaker 3: is annoyed with Joe after the comments she makes around
- 22:32Speaker 3: his parents. She asked if the rescue dog will rescue
- 22:35Speaker 3: her while she's laying on the floor. But then when
- 22:39Speaker 3: they go shopping and they're looking at the most disgusting?
- 22:45Speaker 3: Was that the style back then? Like did you have
- 22:47Speaker 3: that furniture in two thousand now?
- 22:49Speaker 4: That felt like like yeah, no, it was very toussn
- 22:55Speaker 4: back then, like everything was like dark wood and dark
- 22:58Speaker 4: flooring and dark pain on the walls of browns and
- 23:01Speaker 4: reds and colors like that. That felt to me like
- 23:05Speaker 4: medieval times or something.
- 23:06Speaker 3: It was really weird. Or what about She's when Joe
- 23:08Speaker 3: goes listen, I just wanted to say, like, I am
- 23:12Speaker 3: happy that I can be with a man that can
- 23:15Speaker 3: make a jillion dollars and I mean it does make
- 23:19Speaker 3: a gajellian dollars, like he wants to and that's what
- 23:22Speaker 3: I want to be with. And then there's guy watching
- 23:26Speaker 3: like watching it back, I'm like, Joe, we met, you
- 23:28Speaker 3: seem so cool, so down to earth, But.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Do you think that she played dumb just for yes.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Or she just was like or she was like following
- 23:37Speaker 3: along with whatever Slade kind of created her to be,
- 23:41Speaker 3: like I But then we'll get into what he says
- 23:43Speaker 3: to her at the end.
- 23:44Speaker 4: But I think, I mean, I got the impression that
- 23:48Speaker 4: Slade's parents do not like Joe or did not like Joe.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I got the impression that they just knew this was
- 23:56Speaker 3: not going to last. And I think maybe Joe had
- 23:59Speaker 3: just finished watching The Newlyweds with Nick Cliche and Justice,
- 24:03Speaker 3: and she was trying to be like, is that chicken?
- 24:08Speaker 3: And is that whatever? The sea? Yeah?
- 24:12Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 24:14Speaker 3: But then we get into Bianca Kimberly's daughter having a
- 24:18Speaker 3: slumber party at a hotel as a reward for doing
- 24:21Speaker 3: well in school, and they're doing prank calls, and honestly,
- 24:24Speaker 3: this reminds me of my childhood.
- 24:25Speaker 4: I think it's funny. I didn't think it was that
- 24:27Speaker 4: big of a deal. Then the security comes, the girls
- 24:29Speaker 4: are freaking out. Was her mom close by?
- 24:33Speaker 3: I think they just went to a drink downstairs.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Oh gotcha, because I'm like, they were right up there
- 24:38Speaker 4: right when security got there.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm assuming they went to the hotel bar left
- 24:41Speaker 3: the girls up there. But the best part to me
- 24:43Speaker 3: is they weren't crank calling people. They weren't crank calling
- 24:46Speaker 3: the front desk from their cell phone. They I mean
- 24:48Speaker 3: they had a flip phone. They were calling from their
- 24:51Speaker 3: room phone, which clearly, you know, like it tells you
- 24:54Speaker 3: which room is I.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Don't and who who were they calling the front desk?
- 24:58Speaker 4: Or just like rooms are just random rooms.
- 25:01Speaker 3: No, I'm sure they were just calling the front desk
- 25:03Speaker 3: because they said, like finally, they said, the woman is
- 25:05Speaker 3: just like it's open twenty four hours like that.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I was dying. When she's like calling her mom, Mom,
- 25:12Speaker 4: security is coming. I have no idea why we didn't
- 25:15Speaker 4: do anything. Mom, I don't know. You got to get
- 25:17Speaker 4: up here hurry. And at that age you're like, oh
- 25:20Speaker 4: my god, I'm going to jail.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going straight to jail's coming. But then the
- 25:26Speaker 3: other part that I loved was when the friend goes,
- 25:29Speaker 3: I mean, were we mean?
- 25:34Speaker 4: I thought it was cute and harmless, but whatever, I
- 25:37Speaker 4: feel like cute and harmless. Was Vicky attending her twenty
- 25:40Speaker 4: fifth high school reunion. She was trying to hump almost
- 25:44Speaker 4: every single one of those guys.
- 25:45Speaker 3: There, well, I was one. She was like trying to
- 25:47Speaker 3: get in their face. There was one point where she
- 25:49Speaker 3: went to go in for a kiss and the.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Guy she wrapped her legs around another guy.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, was she still Dawn then?
- 25:57Speaker 4: Yeah? They were still together?
- 25:59Speaker 3: Was he was she like that when down was around?
- 26:02Speaker 3: Or only when he was not around? Probably not around.
- 26:06Speaker 3: It also kind of made me sad, just like and
- 26:09Speaker 3: and I'm not shading Vicky, but when she talks about
- 26:12Speaker 3: her looks, and she just says things like, oh, I
- 26:15Speaker 3: wish I you know, I hope they think I'm pretty.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I've been, and she'll admit it, like insecure about her looks.
- 26:22Speaker 4: And I feel like she's always a girl that came
- 26:23Speaker 4: from Chicago and came to Orange County and felt like
- 26:26Speaker 4: she didn't fit in. I mean she fits in now,
- 26:29Speaker 4: but even I mean even her mom was like you changed,
- 26:33Speaker 4: you changed, and then telling her hair was yellow. I
- 26:37Speaker 4: still remember that, still remember watching that way back when,
- 26:40Speaker 4: like yellow, I paid a lot of money for my
- 26:43Speaker 4: hair to be yellow.
- 26:44Speaker 3: I pay a lot of money for it not to
- 26:45Speaker 3: be yellow. Exactly watch what Happens Live air, Vicky did
- 26:49Speaker 3: look stunning. And I will still throw out a compliment
- 26:53Speaker 3: even when someone's an asshole to me. I do think
- 27:06Speaker 3: Kara should be made as a housewife, like where is
- 27:09Speaker 3: she now? Because she can throw shade. She fights with
- 27:12Speaker 3: Shane and Gina and then she makes up quickly. She's
- 27:15Speaker 3: in Florida.
- 27:15Speaker 4: She's pregnant again, so she's on her fourth pregnancy. She
- 27:21Speaker 4: lost one child. She's I heard she was writing a book.
- 27:25Speaker 4: You can write. This girl can write. If you ever
- 27:28Speaker 4: want to read something like, go on her Instagram. She
- 27:30Speaker 4: will just write a book. And I'm like, oh my god,
- 27:33Speaker 4: how do you do that? She's very talented, she's smart.
- 27:37Speaker 4: All right.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Sorry, sorry I went backtracked on that. But then also
- 27:40Speaker 3: when Vicky walked into the reunion, like her high school reunion,
- 27:43Speaker 3: it reminded me of when Luanne and Sonia walked into
- 27:46Speaker 3: Crappy Lake.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Again.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Do well, it's in Chicago. Isn't Crappy Lake in Chicago
- 27:55Speaker 4: as well?
- 27:55Speaker 3: Oh? Maybe?
- 27:56Speaker 4: Is it our Illinois? Illinois?
- 27:58Speaker 3: Illinois is Illinois Illinois? Just so you know, did you
- 28:01Speaker 3: say Illinois, Illinoius, Illinoius?
- 28:05Speaker 4: It's an Illinois.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Okay, Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkosol, California, Colorado, Connecticut. I don't
- 28:12Speaker 4: know why I.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Thought of that. Wow, you're a genius.
- 28:14Speaker 4: I know the whole alphabet song of the Steaks.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I can't do it. Then, Kimberly has had over one
- 28:22Speaker 3: hundred biopsies for her skin cancer. This is her fifth.
- 28:25Speaker 4: It's just morendra.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Yeah, she's had over one hundred biopsies. Maybe she gets
- 28:31Speaker 3: like every freckle biopsies, but she is yet to get
- 28:34Speaker 3: a result. She got her results. Everything came back good
- 28:36Speaker 3: and the results are excellent.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Well, I'm confused because she said it was malignant and
- 28:40Speaker 4: then she comes out and goes, oh, it's okay.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Maybe what happened was they said this could be malignant,
- 28:47Speaker 3: so on the episode before she said that. Then she
- 28:49Speaker 3: went in and they're like the like, maybe they looked
- 28:51Speaker 3: at it, thought it looked malignant. Then they sent it in.
- 28:54Speaker 3: It came back the results that it's benign. Maybe I
- 28:57Speaker 3: feel oftentimes, even now you get housewives get caught up
- 29:00Speaker 3: in something when it comes to the medical Like I
- 29:02Speaker 3: remember even Durite said something about p K and said
- 29:04Speaker 3: he had diabetes, but she said the wrong one and
- 29:07Speaker 3: then everyone was like what and she's like, no, I'm
- 29:10Speaker 3: not a doctor. I just said the wrong I said.
- 29:13Speaker 4: I actually did something like that. I had cancer cells
- 29:16Speaker 4: in my uterus and then they had to remove it
- 29:18Speaker 4: with this procedure and then all of a sudden it
- 29:21Speaker 4: came out like I had uterine cancer. Like, so I
- 29:24Speaker 4: get it. So you don't know, and.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Sometimes you can say something and it can trigger somebody
- 29:28Speaker 3: in a different way. But then.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I wanted to do a switchy switchy. I wanted to
- 29:37Speaker 4: do a switchy switchy with my with.
- 29:40Speaker 3: My high school boy, we always wanted to do a
- 29:42Speaker 3: switchy switchy, switchy, switchy, switchy switchy.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Later on, she says, I've never had relationships with multiple
- 29:50Speaker 4: partners do a switchy switchy.
- 29:53Speaker 3: But you did want to do a switchy switchy. But
- 29:55Speaker 3: that was probably more about trying to get at her
- 29:56Speaker 3: best friend than trying to get with the guy. Then
- 30:01Speaker 3: Joe and Slade go on the date night. Slade asked Joe,
- 30:04Speaker 3: why do you play the role of silly ding Dong?
- 30:07Speaker 3: Joe says, she likes it and it is fine. Here's
- 30:10Speaker 3: the thing, Slade, you can't say, why do you play
- 30:13Speaker 3: the role of silly ding dong? When you force her
- 30:16Speaker 3: to dress and costume to clean the house when she
- 30:20Speaker 3: loses the bet, You're asking her to be a silly
- 30:22Speaker 3: ding dong.
- 30:23Speaker 4: There's such a big disconnect between these two. I mean,
- 30:25Speaker 4: it's so obvious. I feel like he just brought her
- 30:28Speaker 4: in as a actress to play his fiance because they
- 30:32Speaker 4: have no chemistry.
- 30:33Speaker 3: What's not I've never I don't even know that I've
- 30:36Speaker 3: ever seen them like touch.
- 30:38Speaker 4: It's weird, and he talks to her like she's his child.
- 30:42Speaker 3: She's not even like his child. She's like his friend's
- 30:45Speaker 3: child that he doesn't even like, like, like it's disgusting. Yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 3: it's like when you don't like kids and your babysitting
- 30:51Speaker 3: a kid you really don't like. That's how he treats her. Then,
- 30:55Speaker 3: Slade says the person he fell in love with is
- 30:58Speaker 3: completely different than that. Joe says Ditsy is fun and
- 31:02Speaker 3: say Slade says it can be irritating. Slade says Joe
- 31:06Speaker 3: needs to mature a little, be a role model and
- 31:08Speaker 3: have responsibilities. Joe then goes in her confessional, I don't
- 31:12Speaker 3: want to be a role model to anyone. I'm like, well,
- 31:14Speaker 3: this is an awkward time that you're marrying a man
- 31:17Speaker 3: with two children, right then.
- 31:22Speaker 4: I don't think I wanted to be a role model
- 31:24Speaker 4: at twenty four years old either. I just wanted to
- 31:26Speaker 4: have fun, right.
- 31:27Speaker 3: But I wouldn't have wanted to get engaged to a
- 31:30Speaker 3: man my father's age at twenty four years old either,
- 31:34Speaker 3: nor would I want someone like She really had just
- 31:37Speaker 3: ordered her first drink and she goes to take Granted,
- 31:40Speaker 3: she tends to partake a little bit too much. In
- 31:43Speaker 3: some of these episodes, you can tell when she starts
- 31:45Speaker 3: to slur, but.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I know the feeling it's okay, we hadn't been there,
- 31:50Speaker 4: done that. I mean, especially your manager is Joe's best
- 31:53Speaker 4: friend at the restaurant. Yeah, any huge ass drinks as
- 31:56Speaker 4: you want.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it has to send you a drink and like
- 31:58Speaker 3: a fish bowl. But he won't even take a sick
- 32:03Speaker 3: sip of it. He's like discussed with her, and then
- 32:06Speaker 3: I think he got embarrassed. I think the reason it
- 32:09Speaker 3: like fully was over over is when on camera she
- 32:13Speaker 3: says she's going to go out with her friends versus him.
- 32:16Speaker 3: I think he that's.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Pretty balsy to be in a relationship and you're out
- 32:19Speaker 4: to dinner with your boyfriend and you're like, hey, peace out,
- 32:22Speaker 4: I'm gonna go out with my friends. That's what I'm
- 32:24Speaker 4: gonna do. I'm just gonna overhear the bar. We're going
- 32:25Speaker 4: to hang out. You just go home in your hummer. Yeah, Oh,
- 32:28Speaker 4: don't run over the bushes when you drive into the driveway.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. The scenes for next week so good.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I was thinking the same thing, but I also was
- 32:37Speaker 3: like she I think that that conversation, probably on and
- 32:41Speaker 3: off camera, happened so many times. She was like, this
- 32:44Speaker 3: means nothing, and he's just you know, trying to be
- 32:47Speaker 3: my dad again. And ultimately he'll forgive me, and the
- 32:51Speaker 3: next day the engagement is off. He sits there repeatedly. Also,
- 32:55Speaker 3: he said things a thousand times, he's annoying to go
- 32:58Speaker 3: out and talk to other men and blah blah blah'h
- 33:01Speaker 3: like because she doesn't want to show you right.
- 33:03Speaker 4: Right, I have a question, do you wish they would
- 33:06Speaker 4: bring otfs back? Because you're in the moment it just happened.
- 33:11Speaker 4: You can have your raw emotions talk about it.
- 33:14Speaker 3: I need to tell people listening what OTF is.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Oh okay, So that's just on the fly. So if
- 33:19Speaker 4: I shoot a scene, I guess you call a scene.
- 33:21Speaker 4: If we're filming and we're at lunch or dinner and
- 33:24Speaker 4: we're fighting, and they'll pull you aside and they'll have
- 33:27Speaker 4: you do a little moment and the moment confessional in
- 33:30Speaker 4: your same outfit, you know whatever, and that way it's
- 33:34Speaker 4: it's fresh and on your mind. Sometimes we do these
- 33:39Speaker 4: confessionals months after it happened and giving each other whatever.
- 33:46Speaker 4: And then sometimes like like Heather de bro she's pretty smart,
- 33:50Speaker 4: so she's already tipped off in her head. Oh, I
- 33:53Speaker 4: know what Tamar did for this, so I'm going to
- 33:55Speaker 4: combat it with this. But had she never known any
- 33:58Speaker 4: of that, none of Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 3: If you just say things, I wish they brought those
- 34:02Speaker 3: backs because on the fly, you're gonna get suck much
- 34:05Speaker 3: more raw emotions. Plus, also with the confessionals, oftentimes you're
- 34:09Speaker 3: watching it after you've watched the show, so like you'll
- 34:12Speaker 3: see things that you have done wrong. So you're not
- 34:14Speaker 3: going to double down on your bad behavior, but if
- 34:18Speaker 3: you're in the moment, your tipsy, like Joe right in
- 34:20Speaker 3: this moment, she's like, he's a douche bag.
- 34:23Speaker 4: I think that we should keep the interviews the confessionals,
- 34:26Speaker 4: but throwing some otfs in there to get those raw moments.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Well, all we do know is that their relationship has ended,
- 34:33Speaker 3: and you know what, we love a happy ending, Yes
- 34:36Speaker 3: we do. So that is episode five and six. We
- 34:43Speaker 3: see scenes for next week, which is I can't tell
- 34:46Speaker 3: if it's him or her pulling out in the in
- 34:49Speaker 3: the hummer, like knocking all over the plants over and
- 34:52Speaker 3: then her like pulling all of her skytops out of
- 34:55Speaker 3: these boxes that he's just like cramped in a box
- 34:59Speaker 3: and left in a rand garage.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Wait, he's the one that left, right? Is he the
- 35:03Speaker 4: one that jumped in his hummer and.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Red over his flowers? I couldn't see who it was,
- 35:06Speaker 3: But I don't know if she drives his hummer, I
- 35:09Speaker 3: don't know. I don't think so.
- 35:10Speaker 4: I think he does, but I thought it was hilarious.
- 35:13Speaker 3: But h should we have slate on? No? God, no,
- 35:20Speaker 3: oh my gosh. Well, thank you guys for subscribing. We
- 35:23Speaker 3: will be back soon to recap episode seven and eight. Tam,
- 35:29Speaker 3: I will talk to you soon.
- 35:31Speaker 4: Bye, guys, Bye,
