Arkansas City Man Arrested After Mother’s Assault | Wichita News
A Kansas man, Kody Wayne Nuss, 42, was arrested early Monday after allegedly strangling his 61-year-old mother, stealing her phone, meds, and car — then fleeing and crashing into another vehicle. When officers caught up to him, he resisted arrest, even attempting to grab an officer’s gun while cuffed. After being subdued, he was charged with multiple crimes including aggravated domestic battery, robbery, and assaulting an officer.
