- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fuck ya Friday!
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck you!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guests will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it till you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: How do you behave?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: How are you?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we are.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: Two thirds of the way through this month and the equinox is tomorrow.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: And it's spring equinox and you know, there's all these different rituals you could do.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to tell you about any of them because go look them up and do the one you want to do.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: or do nothing, and just enjoy it.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: But like, god's like, you know, check out the moon.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't be so, right?
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, truly.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: So this is the Friday episodes.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: This is non-interview, non-recap.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: Just me sharing what inspired me that I saw on the internet.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, I thought of you, be it babe.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're like, where do I should think of this?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's because I'm like, oh,
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: I want to share this with you.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: My listeners, my favorite like the people who like you send me such great stuff.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: You send me inspirational stuff.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: You send me your wins.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: I so appreciate you send your questions and keep them coming be a pod.com slash questions is where you can type send your wins in and your questions.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: We love answering them on Thursdays.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's really a lot of fun and then I share wins of mine and wins of yours.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: We can see that like there's good stuff happening.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're making magic happen.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: So this is fun.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is responses I've used on Instagram when I don't have the energy.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: So these are like just going to be some answers that you should take from the show notes, copy and paste into your notes, and then text or respond when you don't have the energy to engage with whatever crap is coming at you.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: So this one, there's a few.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the message.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'll give that thought the consideration it deserves.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's so passive, aggressive, it's my favorite.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, Patti, okay, I disagree, but we are working from different levels of education, so I can see how you got to your conclusion.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: You seem very committed to your current level of understanding, have a great day.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not persuaded, I'll defer to the conclusions that have already been established.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's an interesting perspective.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure we're operating the same level of details.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: I can see why that might seem right to you,
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: I admire how your opinion remains unchanged despite evidence that contradicts it.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like keeping this a save because in scanning up for human rights, I've had many people get mad at me and say just stick to your Pilates, I really like your Pilates, but I don't like your politics.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you don't have to like my politics or like my Pilates, like I don't.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, you're getting most of it for free.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, like a part person I just wanna go fuck off, but because like,
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're never free, go away.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm allowed to have my opinion.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: Clearly, you think you were allowed to have yours.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: And like, sometimes our comments can just like live rent free in my head.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I get really annoyed by that.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that's part of like my ADHD.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: And anyway, because of this Dr. Rachel Selman, who has come up with some great responses, I am just going to use these.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they're really great, especially the ones where they're like, he was like gonna, like, when it was talking about,
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Alex Pretty, who was gunned down, executed, in front of, like, we can see with our eyes.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, people, like, that's not what happened.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, we're obviously operating on different, different worlds.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's like, I can see a why that might seem right to you.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: How if the facts still stand, great response, better response.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: And what I want to do, it's like, I just want to tell you, like, I just want to not you.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, like, the person,
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: who has the fills a goal to tell me I just shut up and dance like I just want to tell them to fuck off and or this.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope you can see how it gets.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Do you understand?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, right?
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like some of you are listening and haven't shared how you feel because you're afraid of those comments.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so my hope is that those responses I just gave you give you a little bit of gumption to stand up for what you believe.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: And it's number two.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's never too late.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's not.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: We need everybody in this.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: We need everyone and human rights and do process are not political.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: They're like literally how the world should work.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, now for your amazing wins.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Let me pull them up.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from Jesse Rodriguez.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Easy.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: Teaching a successful mat class for Lulu Lemon, but more importantly, looking over and seeing my husband, kids and parents, they're watching and smiling.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: They're what matters most.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, Jesse, beautiful.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: Wonderful.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, like, ah, freshest.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for sharing that with us.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: I can just picture it in just so beautiful.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from Pilates Harmony 88, more consistent than last week for me.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Great, that is a great win.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: More consistent than last week for me.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: Wonderful, good job.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: When for you, I love it.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for sharing because we do need to celebrate that, oh, I was better this week than last week.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's one percent better.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why do we have to be perfect?
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: We don't.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: So send your wins and because I want to shut them out, I want to shut you out.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to remember something that you did for yourself when like probably you're listening to something going, oh, and then you're, I had that win last month.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, so good.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so here's my win.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: This is gonna sound ridiculous.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I was really annoyed with my bank two years ago.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: They sold again, and I've just been like, I hate this bank, I hate it so much.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I never use the ATM card because I rarely ever use an ATM card in the moment I do it.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's somehow compromised.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: I have to go fight for the money.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: I have to wait for it to come back.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's so annoying.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm only gonna use my credit card with that bank and then just pay the money off, right?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm gonna be benefits from this credit card.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the worst time in the world to want a new credit card anyway.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I've just kind of stuck with it.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: But in trying to leave them, I opened up a credit union account thing.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: He like, okay, that'll be good if I want to get a loan or whatever.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a bluff.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: The credit union is farther away and never in a direction that I'm going, and so I just haven't been using their ATM either, and so unfortunately, like I opened this count, the Hunter Box, and it's just slowly been losing the money, like it was what a waste.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: I hope that they enjoyed the money that they got because I just threw it away.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: But to close the account, I couldn't do it over the phone, I couldn't do it online.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: I had to go in person and write a letter and I'm happy to say, I did that.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: I finally went and I did it and I made it fun.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: I made a hole.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: Day of it.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: I took the dog to the fun dog store that's right there because I was like, oh, we're going to go there.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: We should may as well go to the fun dog store.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just really pleased it's punch with myself and I got that off of my plate and out of my brain and it's been there for a year.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I have to go close at a count.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: I have to go close at a count.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: So that's my win.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so GC wins can be anything.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: All right, this is your mantra to get yourself out on for the weekend.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: My positive thoughts about myself are my choice.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: My positive thoughts about myself are my choice.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: My positive thoughts about myself are my choice.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: Are your choice babe?
