- 0:29Speaker 2: Now, Hey, good afternoon, and welcome to another episode of
- 0:36Speaker 2: Wellness and Censored. My name is Patty G. I am
- 0:39Speaker 2: a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and I am here today to
- 0:43Speaker 2: share just a really heavy heart in talking with all
- 0:49Speaker 2: of you about what has happened, what has happened to
- 0:51Speaker 2: this country, what has happened to this world as we
- 0:54Speaker 2: all have experienced and in some way or another morning
- 0:57Speaker 2: loss of Charlie Kirk. Afternoon, I was just getting into
- 1:02Speaker 2: my car and I always turn in some afternoon talk radio,
- 1:05Speaker 2: and when I started to hear what the announcements were,
- 1:08Speaker 2: I just couldn't even believe what I was hearing. It
- 1:10Speaker 2: was fairly surreal. And as the hours passed, and you know,
- 1:14Speaker 2: shortly thereafter, as I was listening to the newscast on
- 1:17Speaker 2: a couple of different stations, it was he's alive, He's alive,
- 1:20Speaker 2: He's in critical condition, And then there were mixed reports
- 1:24Speaker 2: of it he was actually alive or if he was passed,
- 1:27Speaker 2: and everybody wanted to be the first to the story
- 1:30Speaker 2: with the news. And as I listened to it all unfold,
- 1:33Speaker 2: it was just it was so surreal and the outcome
- 1:38Speaker 2: we were all holding on for what the possible outcome
- 1:40Speaker 2: was going to be, and it really shook me. You know,
- 1:44Speaker 2: I'm in the world. I'm in the business of psychiatric health,
- 1:46Speaker 2: mental health, mental illness, and I've been talking to you
- 1:50Speaker 2: for the last few weeks about some of the actual illnesses, disturbances,
- 1:56Speaker 2: irregular patterns of behavior that we have all come to
- 2:01Speaker 2: treat with social acceptance of people being different and divergent
- 2:08Speaker 2: and woke, and yet we have become so desensitized to
- 2:13Speaker 2: shootings and killings. And yesterday, right after this all happened,
- 2:19Speaker 2: I stopped my car in a shopping plaza and was
- 2:22Speaker 2: watching people come and go, and it became very clear
- 2:25Speaker 2: to me how desensitized people have become. And I'm going
- 2:29Speaker 2: to give them the benefit of the doubt, because when
- 2:31Speaker 2: I called back over to my office, nobody really knew
- 2:34Speaker 2: what happened. Because we're so busy, we're taking care of patients,
- 2:37Speaker 2: we're not listening to the news or the TV or
- 2:39Speaker 2: the radio, but yet looking around me, people were going
- 2:43Speaker 2: about their life, and I really found that disturbing. You know,
- 2:47Speaker 2: today we mourn over nine to eleven. Do you all
- 2:51Speaker 2: remember where you were? I remember specifically where I was
- 2:55Speaker 2: in a classroom teaching nursing students, and they rolled the
- 2:59Speaker 2: TV in to the classroom and we all stood in
- 3:03Speaker 2: disbelief as we watched the second plane hit the towers.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Of course, now here we are years later, and we've
- 3:08Speaker 2: learned so many things more about the explosion and the
- 3:12Speaker 2: crash and whatever you want to call it, and I'm
- 3:15Speaker 2: sure years from now, hopefully not years, hopefully hours or days,
- 3:19Speaker 2: we're going to find out what really happened and how
- 3:22Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk was assassinated yesterday around just before twelve noon
- 3:29Speaker 2: in Utah at a college in a predominantly calm, nonviolent
- 3:35Speaker 2: city and state. And yet it's happening all over the country,
- 3:40Speaker 2: and so it shook me enough that I felt it
- 3:43Speaker 2: would be important. My friend and colleague Mick Rosatto does
- 3:48Speaker 2: a podcast as well. I was just on her show
- 3:50Speaker 2: a few minutes ago. We spoke for the last almost hour,
- 3:54Speaker 2: and I wanted to bring her on today because there's
- 3:56Speaker 2: so much that we want to talk to you about
- 3:58Speaker 2: in terms of one heal and we've got to start
- 4:01Speaker 2: to look at this with fresh eyes. This is not
- 4:05Speaker 2: the new norm, and we need to really get our
- 4:07Speaker 2: priorities straight. But while we're dealing and reeling with the
- 4:11Speaker 2: math and the aftermath of what's happened and kind of
- 4:15Speaker 2: calming our persons down and calming our family down, and
- 4:17Speaker 2: what do we tell our children, I wanted to talk
- 4:20Speaker 2: today just about some of the things we've heard, hopefully
- 4:23Speaker 2: to help many of you. This is a trauma, this
- 4:26Speaker 2: is a shock to many people. Yet there were actually
- 4:29Speaker 2: people out there mocking and saying very unpleasant things, kind
- 4:33Speaker 2: evil things, and we wanted to talk about that too.
- 4:36Speaker 2: So I wanted you to enjoy hearing from my friend Mick. Matt,
- 4:40Speaker 2: why don't you come join us, tell us a little
- 4:42Speaker 2: bit about all that's near and dear to you. Tell
- 4:45Speaker 2: us what you were thinking, what went through your mind
- 4:47Speaker 2: yesterday as we learned about Charlie Kirk. Where were you,
- 4:50Speaker 2: what was going on and what what did this shock
- 4:53Speaker 2: wave bring to you?
- 4:56Speaker 3: So I was at home and I was working on
- 5:01Speaker 3: a few things that I needed to get done. As
- 5:04Speaker 3: we're trying to get criminal investigations open into the COVID
- 5:08Speaker 3: hospital protocols. I'm connecting with attorney generals, I'm connecting with legislators.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I'm connecting with anybody who will listen and who will
- 5:18Speaker 3: help us as we move forward to ensure accountability and
- 5:22Speaker 3: justice occurs in that, you know, this whole thing, this
- 5:25Speaker 3: whole debacle which COVID, that's another story for another day.
- 5:28Speaker 3: But the aftermath of that, when I heard the news
- 5:34Speaker 3: that Charlie Kirk had been shot, and of course I
- 5:38Speaker 3: just started going through all of my chats, I started
- 5:42Speaker 3: looking at news. I started, you know, trying to you know,
- 5:46Speaker 3: there was the like you said, there was a lot
- 5:48Speaker 3: of back and forth. People were saying already that he
- 5:51Speaker 3: had died. There was that graphic video that came out
- 5:55Speaker 3: where you could see that clearly he had been shot
- 5:58Speaker 3: his artery, you know, is carotid artery or his jugular
- 6:02Speaker 3: just you know, you could just tell when he was
- 6:05Speaker 3: shot that it was going to be devastating. And I'll
- 6:09Speaker 3: tell you the very first thing I did was I prayed.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I prayed that Charlie Kirk would be okay, and I
- 6:16Speaker 3: prayed for his family. I prayed for those people who
- 6:20Speaker 3: were there at the Utah University because at that time
- 6:23Speaker 3: I didn't know if this was just one It sounded
- 6:26Speaker 3: like one shot, but we don't know you like you said,
- 6:28Speaker 3: we're kind of in a crazy world right now. And
- 6:32Speaker 3: then after that I started posting because you know, I
- 6:37Speaker 3: was like, wait, wait, now, this seems like you know,
- 6:41Speaker 3: this is tragic, this is you know. I mean, yes,
- 6:44Speaker 3: there's a lot that needs to be sorted out. But
- 6:46Speaker 3: one thing that ran true to me was that they
- 6:49Speaker 3: were Charlie was someone who was definitely about having a dialogue.
- 6:57Speaker 3: He wanted to have constructive diet with people. He brought,
- 7:02Speaker 3: He went to their campuses, He offered them the microphone,
- 7:05Speaker 3: he allowed them, he talked to them, he engaged them.
- 7:09Speaker 3: To me, this was automatically in my head, is like
- 7:13Speaker 3: they did they kill him to silence him? Did they
- 7:16Speaker 3: assassinate him to shut him up or shut him down?
- 7:20Speaker 3: And whether it was for Charlie himself and it because
- 7:25Speaker 3: I believe this was a targeted political assassination, or whether
- 7:30Speaker 3: it was a message to be sent out to all
- 7:32Speaker 3: that was my first thing is that we have to
- 7:35Speaker 3: find the strength within ourselves to pray and to grieve,
- 7:40Speaker 3: but we have to understand that this is something that
- 7:43Speaker 3: is happening across the nation and we cannot allow it
- 7:47Speaker 3: to shut us down and make us fearful and bring
- 7:52Speaker 3: some sort of psychological bioterrorism like they did during COVID,
- 7:57Speaker 3: so that we all retreat back. No more retreating back.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk wouldn't retreat back. And I think he brought
- 8:06Speaker 3: a lot of wisdom and discernment to the youth, and
- 8:10Speaker 3: I really pray that they that as the days go forward,
- 8:14Speaker 3: that that turning point, USA moves forward under under those
- 8:20Speaker 3: who learned and were mentored under Charlie Kirk.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for that. I think that's just so true.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I mean, you know, you and I are both nurses,
- 8:29Speaker 2: and we've we've been through so much over the years
- 8:32Speaker 2: in healthcare and trauma and tragedy. You know, you did
- 8:36Speaker 2: mention and we won't focus on the pandemic today, but
- 8:40Speaker 2: this has become a culmination. It was a precursor of
- 8:44Speaker 2: all the traumatic events that have happened to people in
- 8:47Speaker 2: our world and in society. And what is just most
- 8:52Speaker 2: shocking to me is that we've become so desensitized and
- 8:57Speaker 2: in doing so that citization. We just people were just
- 9:03Speaker 2: going about their day and going about things that you know,
- 9:09Speaker 2: we got used to things with COVID, we got used
- 9:11Speaker 2: to masking, not that many of us liked it, And
- 9:13Speaker 2: now hear a voice of life, of God of the world,
- 9:19Speaker 2: and he was assassinated and people actually mocked it, people
- 9:23Speaker 2: actually said things. It's just incredible to me. It's just
- 9:28Speaker 2: incredible to me. And you know, I just don't understand
- 9:34Speaker 2: how anybody couldn't have been moved yesterday. I just don't
- 9:39Speaker 2: understand it. And yet with all that has gone on
- 9:43Speaker 2: in the world, does anybody else besides us? I mean,
- 9:46Speaker 2: I know there's a lot of people out there. The
- 9:48Speaker 2: tolerance has got to stop, the tolerance for dysfunctional behavior,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and we've allowed it. We talked on your show just
- 9:56Speaker 2: a few minutes ago about all the types of murders
- 9:59Speaker 2: and killings, and it's happening and happening and happening. We
- 10:02Speaker 2: keep saying we've got to stop it, but we've allowed
- 10:04Speaker 2: people that are ill. And I won't even say ill
- 10:09Speaker 2: as an excuse. What happened to Charlie yesterday was a
- 10:12Speaker 2: calculated assassination and that is not an illness, because when
- 10:18Speaker 2: you're ill, you do things you don't realize. This was
- 10:21Speaker 2: planned and planned by multiple people. The girl from the
- 10:26Speaker 2: Ukraine on the subway. Yeah, Irena, Marina. You know the
- 10:32Speaker 2: guy had fourteen prior convictions, So what made you think
- 10:40Speaker 2: this number fifteen was never going to happen. So, folks,
- 10:43Speaker 2: we as adults know that we've got to take a
- 10:47Speaker 2: stand beyond political We have a Christian foundation in America
- 10:53Speaker 2: and that's where I think we have to get back
- 10:55Speaker 2: to family, faith, unity, the right thing. It's just incredible
- 11:01Speaker 2: what happened. And you know, I go back to here's
- 11:05Speaker 2: one thing that Charlie said and I wrote it down.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It was just so profound. If you believe in something,
- 11:12Speaker 2: you need to have the courage to fight for those ideas,
- 11:15Speaker 2: not run away from them or try to silence them. Now,
- 11:20Speaker 2: it doesn't mean radical harm. That means good beliefs, good faith,
- 11:27Speaker 2: ethically and morally, and that's what he stood behind. What
- 11:31Speaker 2: are you say about all that? Oh?
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely. I mean Charlie Kirk was an incredible speaker,
- 11:40Speaker 3: He was an incredible motivator, and he had a connection
- 11:45Speaker 3: on those campuses. He was able to bring people information
- 11:52Speaker 3: without he was never I mean, I've watched so many
- 11:56Speaker 3: of his videos. I've been watching Charlie Kirk for years
- 12:00Speaker 3: now as he's kind of, you know, come come up
- 12:03Speaker 3: thirty one years old. What he's accomplished was incredible. But
- 12:08Speaker 3: one of the things that I always noticed about Charlie
- 12:10Speaker 3: Kirk was he never went off and was like, oh
- 12:14Speaker 3: dear good. I mean, even when some of these people
- 12:16Speaker 3: would just say things and they would be really rude
- 12:19Speaker 3: and kind of, you know, very forceful, he let them.
- 12:22Speaker 3: He empowered them to say there, you know, to be
- 12:26Speaker 3: who they were. He didn't shut that down. But he
- 12:29Speaker 3: would come back to them and be like, okay, now
- 12:32Speaker 3: let me speak. This is why, and this is where
- 12:35Speaker 3: this comes from. And he could lead them in that direction.
- 12:39Speaker 3: And I think that's why he resonated with so many
- 12:43Speaker 3: of them, is because he came from it as a
- 12:45Speaker 3: point of sensible and he came from it rationally. He
- 12:50Speaker 3: wasn't like, oh my goodness, you're so stupid, shut up,
- 12:53Speaker 3: you know, or once they started talking, now you know,
- 12:56Speaker 3: as they kind of shout into your face. He never
- 12:58Speaker 3: did any of that. I think it was just incredible
- 13:03Speaker 3: what he's done. And I really do pray for those
- 13:08Speaker 3: who were in Turning Point USA. You know that that
- 13:13Speaker 3: they that they move that forward, that they take that
- 13:17Speaker 3: spirit of Charlie Kirk and push that forward, because we can't.
- 13:22Speaker 3: We can't let that stop. We can't let what happened
- 13:25Speaker 3: here bring fear, to shut people down, to silence people.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Nor can we tolerate it or normalize it and say, okay,
- 13:34Speaker 3: well we can't go on campuses or whatever, and we
- 13:37Speaker 3: can't have fear. We can't be afraid. You know, we
- 13:41Speaker 3: have to stand forward and move forward. But Charlie Kirk
- 13:44Speaker 3: was an incredible person and his influence upon those will
- 13:50Speaker 3: only make his legacy stronger. They may have assassinated, I
- 13:57Speaker 3: believe with all my heart this was a targeted as
- 14:00Speaker 3: fascination of Charlie Kirk. But what they did is they
- 14:03Speaker 3: he is a martyr. He stood up for his beliefs,
- 14:08Speaker 3: He stood up for what was right. He did not
- 14:10Speaker 3: back down, he did not do it and hate. He
- 14:14Speaker 3: brought forth the best of what there was and they
- 14:18Speaker 3: killed him for speaking truth and for free speech. So
- 14:23Speaker 3: we have to be boldened because Charlie would have been boldened.
- 14:27Speaker 3: I bet Charlie would have been out there if this
- 14:29Speaker 3: was somebody else Charlie would have out there today saying okay,
- 14:34Speaker 3: move forward, you know, don't shut down, don't shut it out,
- 14:39Speaker 3: use this, Let's move forward.
- 14:42Speaker 2: And that's what rebel. Can you put the picture up
- 14:44Speaker 2: of Charlie, the picture they have of him under the tent.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I want to see this picture. I'm going to read
- 14:50Speaker 2: something and share this with you from a dear friend,
- 14:53Speaker 2: doctor taw Bram. He said, maybe the most startling thing
- 14:56Speaker 2: about Charlie's death is so few of the mainstream majority
- 14:59Speaker 2: realized this was yet another attack on Christianity. It was
- 15:02Speaker 2: an attack on a spokesperson and a leader, a role
- 15:06Speaker 2: model of Christian life. Over the few years, churches and
- 15:09Speaker 2: Christians around the world have been attacked, burned to the ground.
- 15:13Speaker 2: They are acts of organized global terrorism. It's not just
- 15:17Speaker 2: the attackers that need to be hunted down and stopped,
- 15:21Speaker 2: it's the leaders. If you look at this picture, folks,
- 15:24Speaker 2: what does that say It does prove me wrong? Well,
- 15:28Speaker 2: so far we haven't proven him wrong, have we. And
- 15:31Speaker 2: what we do need to do, like you just said, Mick,
- 15:35Speaker 2: we need to carry on, stand strong, and we need
- 15:38Speaker 2: to drive this mission even harder. So if you think
- 15:41Speaker 2: you're going to take down Charlie Kirk, come on and
- 15:43Speaker 2: bring it. You're going to have to take down all
- 15:45Speaker 2: of us, because it is this one nation under God
- 15:49Speaker 2: and my watch, on your watch, and anybody else who
- 15:52Speaker 2: wants to stand with Charlie and turning point, come on
- 15:55Speaker 2: and bring us down, because we're not going to go down.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Bring it no way, prove us wrong. Love that, yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 2: and I'm bring it. Bring it big, man, bring it big, because.
- 16:08Speaker 3: You know what, there's too many of us.
- 16:09Speaker 2: We just have to be faster than the slowest runner.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And by God, baby, you know I can run and
- 16:14Speaker 2: I will run and fight the fight. This man was
- 16:16Speaker 2: thirty one years old. He was just about to come
- 16:19Speaker 2: upon another birthday, and you all stole it from him.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You stole his life, You stole his family's life, you
- 16:25Speaker 2: stole his future. But everything that he spoke on and
- 16:29Speaker 2: this we talked about this earlier today. Now we need
- 16:32Speaker 2: to lift him up even more. Share the videos, there's many,
- 16:37Speaker 2: Share these with your children, Share these with your friends.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Don't live in fear, live in faith, And how can
- 16:45Speaker 2: we heal forward from this? You need to stand with Charlie.
- 16:49Speaker 2: You need to lift him up, and you need to
- 16:52Speaker 2: be bold. Tears. I get it, but get past the tears.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Be bold. There is one nation under God. We do
- 17:01Speaker 2: not have to be the melting pot of religions that
- 17:05Speaker 2: are not bound in faith and in God only. And
- 17:09Speaker 2: if they are, go back to where you want to
- 17:11Speaker 2: practice that faith. But we are a Judeo Christian society
- 17:15Speaker 2: here by our forefathers, under the Constitution, under the flag,
- 17:21Speaker 2: under God. That's where we are indivisible. And that's what
- 17:25Speaker 2: I do want to share with people. You know, there's
- 17:27Speaker 2: a couple things more we want to share. But if
- 17:29Speaker 2: you're hurting, if you don't know what to do, if
- 17:31Speaker 2: this is terrorizing to you, this is the worst part
- 17:35Speaker 2: because this is what they want, just like pandemic. Here
- 17:39Speaker 2: we go, folks, here's another shot of fear. Yesterday was fear.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Today's the memory of nine to eleven. Fear, fear, fear.
- 17:47Speaker 2: You know what you do to fear? You fight it?
- 17:49Speaker 2: What did Trump say? Fight? Fight? Fight? Kirk say fight,
- 17:55Speaker 2: and he fought, he fighted. They took him down down.
- 18:00Speaker 2: And if you haven't gotten yourself the latest copy of
- 18:04Speaker 2: a Bible, y'all need to get yourself won and you
- 18:07Speaker 2: need to start reading it because if you think Charlie's wrong.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Even my dogs are acting up to it. They're like, yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 2: Mommy speak that's right.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Represent mom, that's right because they know.
- 18:17Speaker 2: What it soap ups. But you have to live in
- 18:20Speaker 2: faith books. That's where you're again. You know, we've done
- 18:24Speaker 2: a lot with COVID, you and I apparently gotten I
- 18:28Speaker 2: apologize folks. However, it's one hour a week. In the
- 18:33Speaker 2: one hour a week they've decided to let us know,
- 18:36Speaker 2: you need to stand strong in your faith, and you
- 18:39Speaker 2: need to I can't even believe it out of the mouths.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Of dogs, that's right.
- 18:47Speaker 2: While I while I quiet them down, take it away.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Okay, you have to say, well, you know what I
- 18:55Speaker 5: what I did want to talk about, and I'm trying
- 18:58Speaker 5: to pull this up right now.
- 19:01Speaker 3: There's a few things that you know, I think need
- 19:06Speaker 3: to kind of be evaluated as as we're moving through
- 19:11Speaker 3: and we're talking about all of this, the murder of
- 19:15Speaker 3: you know, assassination of Charlie Kirk and and and really,
- 19:19Speaker 3: I mean, you know what happened here? How did that happen?
- 19:23Speaker 3: They're still looking for the killer, and I just kind
- 19:25Speaker 3: of wanted to bring this out because this is a
- 19:27Speaker 3: couple of things has come up, and I think this
- 19:29Speaker 3: is kind of a weird o rama. I wonder if
- 19:31Speaker 3: any of the people out there in your audience might
- 19:35Speaker 3: actually have any information on this. But it says that UH.
- 19:39Speaker 3: And this has been multiple multiple people that have said
- 19:44Speaker 3: there was UH and they showed it online. They showed
- 19:46Speaker 3: the receipts. New York Times and LA Times reported that
- 19:51Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk was shot on September ninth, the day before
- 19:55Speaker 3: his assassination. There was Amazon books that had been posted
- 20:03Speaker 3: on nine to nine the day before, and it was
- 20:05Speaker 3: the shooting of Charlie Kirk. There was a gentleman who
- 20:12Speaker 3: they showed in the crowd. Now, maybe he was just
- 20:15Speaker 3: somebody who really wanted to just he hated on Charlie Kirk.
- 20:18Speaker 3: The moment that he saw that they pulled Charlie Kirk off,
- 20:22Speaker 3: he's like waving his arms and he's like yeah, you know,
- 20:25Speaker 3: I mean, it's just it's just weird. This is odd behavior, Patty.
- 20:32Speaker 3: You know these people who eyewitnesses in the crowd, Now
- 20:38Speaker 3: this is claims from Alex Jones. People in the crowd
- 20:42Speaker 3: claimed they knew that Charlie Kirk was about to be killed.
- 20:45Speaker 3: And then of course I think a lot of us
- 20:48Speaker 3: have seen the post of that one gentleman who said, oh,
- 20:51Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk's coming to my town. You know, we hope that,
- 20:55Speaker 3: you know, something really bad is going to happen. It's like,
- 20:59Speaker 3: are you are you kidding me with this? I mean,
- 21:02Speaker 3: this is ridiculousness. So I think that's something that we
- 21:08Speaker 3: need to kind of maybe touch on because you know,
- 21:12Speaker 3: we're is this a sigh up? What's happening here? Is
- 21:16Speaker 3: that the FBI? Is it the CIA? Are they actually
- 21:19Speaker 3: taking him down? I mean, to me, this was a
- 21:22Speaker 3: silence of free speech. He was speaking the truth truth?
- 21:26Speaker 3: But wow, how does that happen in Amazon?
- 21:31Speaker 2: And was it a slip? Was it somebody on the
- 21:33Speaker 2: inside who was part of what was going on and
- 21:36Speaker 2: just wanted to get the word out about Who knows?
- 21:38Speaker 2: But you're right, how do these things happen? And we
- 21:41Speaker 2: always said tell a vision something was remiss, something just
- 21:45Speaker 2: didn't add up. And the video I think I shared
- 21:48Speaker 2: and you guys could probably find it on Facebook. But
- 21:51Speaker 2: you know, there's actually a video where somebody caught this
- 21:53Speaker 2: guy next to Charlie and there's a couple of hand
- 21:56Speaker 2: signals and it was not sign language as if he's
- 22:00Speaker 2: motioning to the guy. And then there's another video that
- 22:03Speaker 2: actually shows Charlie appeared to have a bulletproof vest on.
- 22:06Speaker 2: We don't know. It appeared like the bullet hit the
- 22:09Speaker 2: vest and deflect into his neck. One we don't know.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I'm not a science friensic specialist, but there's so much
- 22:15Speaker 2: we don't know. But yet it was calculated, It was sinister,
- 22:20Speaker 2: and it wasn't some pimple faced college kid that's angry
- 22:23Speaker 2: with the little bag and blue hair. Was it to
- 22:26Speaker 2: drive that group of people to go, yeah, fight for us,
- 22:32Speaker 2: you know? I mean, I don't know, but it definitely.
- 22:34Speaker 2: It just it speaks volumes of what goes on well
- 22:37Speaker 2: above us folks, in a level that probably none of
- 22:41Speaker 2: us would ever even be aware or exposed to. And
- 22:44Speaker 2: it does make you wonder, like you said, neck, really,
- 22:46Speaker 2: where where did all this come from? Where did all
- 22:49Speaker 2: this come from?
- 22:50Speaker 3: That's crazy and it is Oh, go ahead, I'm sorry,
- 22:54Speaker 3: it is.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Oh.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I was just going to say, you know, when you
- 22:56Speaker 3: were talking about it, and I just say, you know,
- 22:58Speaker 3: God Family Country, you know, I mean, you know, bring
- 23:02Speaker 3: God Family Country back, you know, when you're talking about that,
- 23:06Speaker 3: I mean I think that this goes back to that.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I think we need to have faith. We need to
- 23:11Speaker 3: be a people of prayer, We need to be a
- 23:14Speaker 3: people of faith, But we also need to be a
- 23:18Speaker 3: people of wisdom and discernment. And I think we need
- 23:22Speaker 3: to look at everything that goes on around us. I
- 23:26Speaker 3: think we should question everything that goes on around us
- 23:30Speaker 3: and really what's going into the world, you know, social media,
- 23:35Speaker 3: whatever it be. But I so think that in this
- 23:40Speaker 3: moment in time, this speaks volumes to those of us
- 23:45Speaker 3: who are in the movement. I think it says volumes
- 23:48Speaker 3: to say, do not be afraid. I have to keep
- 23:52Speaker 3: going back to that move forward. We can't stop, we can't.
- 23:58Speaker 3: We have to be Charlie. We have to. You know,
- 24:01Speaker 3: his shirt said freedom. We are free if we shut up,
- 24:07Speaker 3: if we back down, if we are silent and do
- 24:12Speaker 3: not bring up any of this and go on the
- 24:16Speaker 3: full you know megaphone with it, then then his death
- 24:21Speaker 3: was in vain. And so I don't think we can
- 24:23Speaker 3: do that.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah, let's show this clip, Rebel. This is one of
- 24:28Speaker 2: many of Charlie's videos, and I want to show you
- 24:30Speaker 2: how he touched lines. Take a listen to this and
- 24:33Speaker 2: we'll talk right after.
- 24:35Speaker 6: Hate you, but just ask you for some advice. I
- 24:38Speaker 6: married my beautiful wife last year at the age of
- 24:40Speaker 6: twenty two, and I just want to say I respect
- 24:46Speaker 6: and admire I've been watching from a distance how your
- 24:49Speaker 6: ability to lead your family, your beautiful wife, your beautiful children,
- 24:53Speaker 6: and as a young man pursuing a marriage, I just
- 24:56Speaker 6: want to ask if you had any advice on how
- 24:58Speaker 6: I can pursue and maintain a God centered marriage for the.
- 25:02Speaker 7: Well life, and thank you for that. Number One, God
- 25:05Speaker 7: must always come first. From your spiritual disciplines, honor the Sabbaths,
- 25:09Speaker 7: and turn off your phone for one day a week.
- 25:11Speaker 7: Go to a church, a good Bible based church. We
- 25:13Speaker 7: have many of the pastors here that teach the Word
- 25:15Speaker 7: of God verse by verse. And also understand that it's
- 25:18Speaker 7: external things of the flesh like alcohol or porn or
- 25:22Speaker 7: drugs or other temptations that will take down your marriage.
- 25:26Speaker 7: You as the husband, must constantly be at guard of
- 25:29Speaker 7: things and also over shopping, over indulgence, too much credit cards,
- 25:33Speaker 7: idolatry of vacations. You must guard the family from those
- 25:37Speaker 7: things seeping in. So understand the order. It's God and
- 25:40Speaker 7: then the marriage and those things will bless your marriage
- 25:43Speaker 7: from the devil who tries to undermine it and usurp
- 25:45Speaker 7: your holy union.
- 25:46Speaker 6: I love it, Thank you God, bless you Man, Thank you.
- 25:49Speaker 6: And I'm not here to debate you.
- 25:50Speaker 2: But that's it. How could anybody be against that? Who
- 25:56Speaker 2: against that? That's the problem with our society today. A
- 25:59Speaker 2: man is the inherent issue. We've stopped the nuclear component
- 26:04Speaker 2: of being a man and woman and raising up our children.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Right, yeah, yeah, destroy the destroy the nuclear family. Take
- 26:13Speaker 3: God out of everything, and and you will unravel your society.
- 26:21Speaker 3: And and we are we see an and unraveling that
- 26:25Speaker 3: has happened, which I think is so important. Why we
- 26:30Speaker 3: need to go back and come at things from a
- 26:33Speaker 3: biblical perspective and use this as the ability to lift
- 26:39Speaker 3: our voices higher. You know, I I think you know
- 26:43Speaker 3: that was one of the things when there was a
- 26:46Speaker 3: video clip and I don't have it on me right now,
- 26:49Speaker 3: but the gentleman said, hey, you know, tomorrow, you know
- 26:53Speaker 3: what would what what do you want your you know,
- 26:55Speaker 3: he didn't say tomorrow, but he said, what do you
- 26:56Speaker 3: want your legacy to be? And Charlie said, what you
- 26:59Speaker 3: mean if I And they were like yeah, and he
- 27:02Speaker 3: was like, I want to be known as a man
- 27:05Speaker 3: of faith, a man who held to his faith. And
- 27:09Speaker 3: I think that sums it all up. We have to
- 27:12Speaker 3: be people of faith. We have to come back to God,
- 27:15Speaker 3: be a praying people. Have no fear. God didn't give
- 27:20Speaker 3: us the spirit of fear. You know, he didn't give
- 27:23Speaker 3: us the ability to be timid. No, you know, he
- 27:26Speaker 3: wants to love our neighbors, you know, love ourselves, you know,
- 27:30Speaker 3: go out, make disciples, talk to people. And that's what
- 27:33Speaker 3: Charlie did. You know. People might not say, you know,
- 27:36Speaker 3: he wasn't preaching at them, but he was giving them
- 27:39Speaker 3: the principles to build and to look at what they're
- 27:44Speaker 3: doing in their lives and to answer their questions. And
- 27:48Speaker 3: I think we're going to find out that he really
- 27:51Speaker 3: did touch thousands and thousands and thousands of youth across
- 27:56Speaker 3: those campuses.
- 27:57Speaker 2: I think so. And you know, not only that, but
- 28:00Speaker 2: his legacy now is going to live on. We will
- 28:03Speaker 2: now make him even greater than he was because like
- 28:07Speaker 2: Martin Luther King, like John F. Kennedy, like people that
- 28:11Speaker 2: lost their lives for speaking the truth. You can't show
- 28:15Speaker 2: me anything that Charlie hadn't said on video or in person.
- 28:21Speaker 2: That isn't making someone a better person or a better family. Nothing.
- 28:27Speaker 2: He didn't judge people. They tried to misquote and take
- 28:30Speaker 2: things out of context to try to say, well, he
- 28:32Speaker 2: said this, but you didn't listen to the whole story,
- 28:34Speaker 2: you know. And so I think that's what we need
- 28:37Speaker 2: to do. We need to lift him up. And I
- 28:39Speaker 2: think I said it on your show, what would Charlie Do?
- 28:42Speaker 2: I'm going to get me a T shirt what would
- 28:43Speaker 2: Charlie Do? And I'm going to wear it proud to
- 28:45Speaker 2: be in the faces of people. And like we also shared,
- 28:48Speaker 2: you know, when we're dealing with people that would actually
- 28:51Speaker 2: mock or laugh or have anything joyful about what happened yesterday,
- 28:56Speaker 2: you've got to really look in the mirror. And those
- 28:58Speaker 2: folks have some type of mental instability to have any
- 29:03Speaker 2: rational thought taking another human life through that means, you know,
- 29:09Speaker 2: it's just it's immoral, it's unethical, it's heinous, and those
- 29:14Speaker 2: are the demons that live among us. And with respect
- 29:17Speaker 2: to the mental health community, you know, I applaud people
- 29:21Speaker 2: who come and get help, and I applaud people who
- 29:23Speaker 2: know when they're not feeling themselves. And we do have
- 29:26Speaker 2: to treat them, and we want to treat them. But
- 29:28Speaker 2: if we develop this tolerance, oh that's just you know
- 29:32Speaker 2: Bo and he has a hot head. Oh you don't
- 29:34Speaker 2: want to make Marry or Bill angry because they'll punch
- 29:37Speaker 2: a wall or they might hurt you. If we have
- 29:40Speaker 2: to back away from people because we're afraid, it's tolerance.
- 29:44Speaker 2: We need to stand strong. We need to be calm,
- 29:46Speaker 2: we need to be confident. We need to guide these
- 29:49Speaker 2: people to get help or guide someone that they know
- 29:52Speaker 2: that's close to them. Hey, do you know what they've
- 29:54Speaker 2: been sane lately? Perhaps maybe you can help them. And
- 29:57Speaker 2: let's start with God first and forem go to church.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It doesn't cost you anything. Sit in a chair, sit
- 30:04Speaker 2: in a pew, listen to the message. Maybe that's your
- 30:07Speaker 2: first step to mental wellness. Get right with God. It
- 30:12Speaker 2: truly is. I have no comparison to some of the
- 30:15Speaker 2: people who've had loss or trategy in the world, But
- 30:17Speaker 2: for every ounce of my being, people ask me, well,
- 30:21Speaker 2: how did you get so positive? How do you stay
- 30:23Speaker 2: so strong? Faith and faith alone? Because my own weakness,
- 30:27Speaker 2: it'd be easy for me to kind of roll over
- 30:29Speaker 2: and crumble, but I won't. I refuse to. And that's
- 30:32Speaker 2: why I'm so glad you and I partnered up today
- 30:35Speaker 2: because this is exactly what we're about. I'm certainly not
- 30:39Speaker 2: a Charlie Kirk, but we two or more together, we
- 30:43Speaker 2: confirm it, we speak it. We will make a difference,
- 30:47Speaker 2: however small, one person each day. But folks, if you're upset,
- 30:52Speaker 2: if you're afraid, if you're sad, if you don't know
- 30:54Speaker 2: what to do, bring something forward to help someone else.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Bring your kindness, bring your joy, bring your faith. And
- 31:02Speaker 2: if you're weak, if you're weary, if you're sad, if
- 31:05Speaker 2: you're low, reach out, get help. It's also National Suicide
- 31:09Speaker 2: Prevention Month. That doesn't mean if you're at your last
- 31:13Speaker 2: wits end, dial ninety eight, reach out. Someone will talk
- 31:17Speaker 2: to you. It's the first step. No one will come
- 31:20Speaker 2: to your door, no one will take you away. But
- 31:22Speaker 2: we have got to solve this mental derangement problem with
- 31:27Speaker 2: good borrows and values, and we have got to face fear.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Don't turn your back on fear, folks, that's what they
- 31:34Speaker 2: want you to do. I think we mentioned, you know
- 31:37Speaker 2: in the subway murder. She got into the subway and
- 31:41Speaker 2: sat down and was on her phone. Right you don't
- 31:45Speaker 2: do that when you're in a public place. Again, not
- 31:47Speaker 2: because you want to think everybody's a bad person, but
- 31:50Speaker 2: let's just face it, you've got to use your eyes
- 31:52Speaker 2: and ears to be smart. You've got to be somewhat
- 31:55Speaker 2: street smart. There's just a lot of people in the
- 31:57Speaker 2: world today. Perhaps had she sat another chair up, or
- 32:01Speaker 2: she sat up and she was looking around. You know,
- 32:03Speaker 2: when I go out from a dark, darking lot at night,
- 32:06Speaker 2: I walk with my shoulders up and my arms out,
- 32:09Speaker 2: and I have my arms free in case I need
- 32:11Speaker 2: to turn quickly an elbow or chuck or knee up
- 32:15Speaker 2: or whatever. Why because nobody's been taking you down without
- 32:18Speaker 2: a darn good fight, you know, and you have to
- 32:22Speaker 2: protect yourself. But we have to be smart. We have
- 32:24Speaker 2: to teach our kids how to be smart, you know,
- 32:26Speaker 2: young girls, young boy. We've got to start teaching our youth.
- 32:31Speaker 3: And no one how to do something, how to do something,
- 32:35Speaker 3: you know, just like Irena, you know who was on
- 32:38Speaker 3: the light rail, the lady who was burned to death
- 32:41Speaker 3: in the subway, you know, and nobody does anything, Nobody stops,
- 32:46Speaker 3: you know. They the children. Not this last shooting in Minnesota,
- 32:50Speaker 3: but I think it was the Tennessee one where they
- 32:53Speaker 3: were videotaping the children who were on the ground, and
- 32:57Speaker 3: I'm like, they're just walking by videotaping, and I'm like,
- 33:02Speaker 3: we have got to learn that. We have got to
- 33:05Speaker 3: stop the desensitization. We've got to stop the tolerance. We've
- 33:10Speaker 3: got to stop normalizing this and get involved. I can
- 33:14Speaker 3: tell you right now my husband hates it because I
- 33:18Speaker 3: will just if I see something going on, like I'm
- 33:22Speaker 3: jumping in the middle of it, you know, And he's like,
- 33:24Speaker 3: you know, Mick, don't do that. But you know, you
- 33:27Speaker 3: you have to do something. We can't just allow people
- 33:31Speaker 3: to be out there who were hurt, who were hurt
- 33:34Speaker 3: and defenseless, just like Irena who was sitting there, you know, frightened,
- 33:38Speaker 3: and everybody just kind of walks past her and she
- 33:41Speaker 3: bleeds to help, you know, No, no, stop, And let
- 33:46Speaker 3: me just say this. I'm just gonna go one further.
- 33:48Speaker 3: The guy who was out in the crowd, and look,
- 33:50Speaker 3: I'm not trying to say be vigilantes. Okay, that's not
- 33:53Speaker 3: what I'm saying here, you know, But what I am
- 33:56Speaker 3: saying is the guy who was out in the crowd
- 33:58Speaker 3: who's like, yeah, when Charlie Kirk, whether he understood or not.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Can somebody please get around this gentleman and say, wait
- 34:07Speaker 3: a minute, why why are you sele? Somebody was just killed?
- 34:11Speaker 3: You know, is there something going on in this people,
- 34:14Speaker 3: in these people's heads, you know, somebody rangement? Yes, yes,
- 34:21Speaker 3: we have to point these people out. Hey, that guy
- 34:25Speaker 3: right over there, he's yelling and jumping and carrying on.
- 34:28Speaker 3: He's celebrating the death. Maybe there's nothing to it, but
- 34:32Speaker 3: come on, you know, I mean then it's all over
- 34:36Speaker 3: the internet. Who is this guy? Who is this guy?
- 34:39Speaker 3: People around you need to see something, say something, do
- 34:43Speaker 3: something your seriously. I can tell you right now. If
- 34:47Speaker 3: you if Patty, if you were on the subway and
- 34:49Speaker 3: I saw something happen to you, I'd be like, wh
- 34:52Speaker 3: you know, coming after it, because that's what we used
- 34:56Speaker 3: to do.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I broke my hand in eighth grade. For another girl,
- 35:02Speaker 2: take a look at this quote. I pulled this up
- 35:05Speaker 2: off of a Facebook and I just thought it was
- 35:07Speaker 2: beautifully written. When a man is silenced by bullets for
- 35:10Speaker 2: dare to speak. The lesson is not to quiet ourselves.
- 35:15Speaker 2: It's to understand that conviction is worth any cost. Power
- 35:20Speaker 2: fears the voice that refuses to bend, because a single
- 35:24Speaker 2: truth can outlive the body that carried it. To speak
- 35:28Speaker 2: what you believe in the face of threat is not defiance.
- 35:32Speaker 2: It is survival of the soul. And if your words
- 35:35Speaker 2: are enough to be hunted, then they are too important
- 35:39Speaker 2: to be buried in silence. Rest easy, Charlie. I love that,
- 35:44Speaker 2: and all of us who stand with Charlie need to
- 35:47Speaker 2: take that. Be bold, be strong, because what other purpose
- 35:51Speaker 2: is there for us in life but to make a difference.
- 35:54Speaker 2: People that don't want to make a difference. When to
- 35:56Speaker 2: sit back and collect a check and have somebody take
- 35:58Speaker 2: care of them. That isn't me, And if it's anybody
- 36:02Speaker 2: out there, well that's a pretty boring existence. We are
- 36:05Speaker 2: here to make a difference, folks. We are here to
- 36:08Speaker 2: make a difference. And I love that quote. I think
- 36:10Speaker 2: we should all live by it. I did want to
- 36:12Speaker 2: give recognition to his to his mother and father, we
- 36:16Speaker 2: haven't heard a lot about them. I did read that
- 36:19Speaker 2: his mom was a mental health counselor. I did read
- 36:21Speaker 2: his dad as an architect. But I will tell you
- 36:25Speaker 2: that young man was given some good foundation. And with
- 36:28Speaker 2: that good foundation, let those parents be proud they raised
- 36:34Speaker 2: a hero, They raised a man of God, and God
- 36:37Speaker 2: bless his wife and his two kids also. But I'll
- 36:40Speaker 2: tell you what, Mom and Dad, What a shield to carry?
- 36:44Speaker 2: What a shield carry? That's what we should be grieving for.
- 36:48Speaker 2: If anybody out there is grieving because they're afraid again,
- 36:51Speaker 2: take a look in the mirror. What did you lose yesterday? Okay,
- 36:55Speaker 2: it's hard, it's painful, and I cry for Charlie. But
- 36:59Speaker 2: what I do cry for is what a beautiful man
- 37:02Speaker 2: they raised. And someone or a group of someone took
- 37:06Speaker 2: the life out of him for speaking the truth. And
- 37:08Speaker 2: that makes me angry. That makes me stand up for Charlie,
- 37:12Speaker 2: and I hope we all stand up for Charlie. Carry
- 37:16Speaker 2: his name on and carrie everything that he shared, get
- 37:20Speaker 2: the videos folks throw all over, and I think that
- 37:22Speaker 2: can be a wonderful way to heal. What better way
- 37:24Speaker 2: to heal than to learn from some of the things
- 37:27Speaker 2: he shared. You know why, here's the best part Nick
- 37:30Speaker 2: think about it. I am not as smart as Charlie,
- 37:33Speaker 2: but when I heard how he fought back against some
- 37:35Speaker 2: of the things people said, it was very helpful because
- 37:38Speaker 2: now when somebody challenges me on certain things, I'm going
- 37:42Speaker 2: to say, oh yeah, what about that? And what about that?
- 37:44Speaker 2: And he had the gift of just good debate, but
- 37:48Speaker 2: he had facts.
- 37:49Speaker 3: It was beautiful, it was he had. He did a
- 37:54Speaker 3: lot of what I call constructive dialogue. It's really kind
- 37:59Speaker 3: of a form of conversation. It's where you have people
- 38:03Speaker 3: with different perspectives and they just want to kind of
- 38:07Speaker 3: understand each other, so they don't abandon their own beliefs,
- 38:11Speaker 3: but what they do is in order to coexist, to
- 38:15Speaker 3: learn and to live from each other and with each other,
- 38:20Speaker 3: you have these conversations and it's very It's a tool
- 38:24Speaker 3: that's used when you're discussing things that are important or complex,
- 38:29Speaker 3: or you know, things that often divide people. And Charlie,
- 38:33Speaker 3: you know, jumped into those areas and God bless him
- 38:37Speaker 3: for doing that. That's what he was doing. He was
- 38:40Speaker 3: simply doing constructive dialogue. He was communicating, and for that
- 38:47Speaker 3: he was assassinated. So, you know, going to those campuses
- 38:53Speaker 3: and engaging in open debate with all of them, encouraging
- 38:58Speaker 3: and empowering them to speak. I really do pray that
- 39:04Speaker 3: we can all be like Charlie, Charlie Kirk and move
- 39:09Speaker 3: this forward and never let it be silent, because never
- 39:13Speaker 3: let us be silenced. Because Charlie Kirk even said it
- 39:17Speaker 3: himself that you know, he goes on college campuses and
- 39:22Speaker 3: he talks to these people because when dialogue and when conversation,
- 39:27Speaker 3: when discourse starts, that's when killing starts. And so we
- 39:32Speaker 3: can't let it stop.
- 39:34Speaker 2: You know, you got to wonder, and if rebel you
- 39:37Speaker 2: can pull up that last video, you got to wonder.
- 39:40Speaker 2: He must have really pissed off somebody big, somebody big
- 39:44Speaker 2: to be very threatened. If we can take a look
- 39:46Speaker 2: at this video, folks, I just love what he shared
- 39:49Speaker 2: to this thirteen year old little girl. Take a listen.
- 39:52Speaker 2: That's my friend, Louisa Clary. She pulled it up.
- 40:00Speaker 1: What advice do you have for me as I move
- 40:02Speaker 1: into adulthood in order to become a more informed and
- 40:05Speaker 1: involved citizen.
- 40:06Speaker 7: Well, first of all, thank you for being here, and
- 40:10Speaker 7: I have hope thanks to people like you. How old
- 40:12Speaker 7: are you again? Thirteen thirteen? Here's a couple of things
- 40:15Speaker 7: I want to encourage you to do. Learn something new
- 40:18Speaker 7: every single day, and focus on what it means to
- 40:21Speaker 7: be a good person and a person in a strong character.
- 40:25Speaker 7: Aristotle said that courage is the ultimate virtue about it,
- 40:27Speaker 7: there are no other virtues. If people aren't courageous, you
- 40:30Speaker 7: don't have honesty, you don't have justice, you don't beauty,
- 40:33Speaker 7: you don't have wonder. And so, at age thirteen, I
- 40:35Speaker 7: want you to commit yourself to a life of courage.
- 40:37Speaker 7: Courage is doing the right thing when you don't know
- 40:40Speaker 7: how it's going to work out. Courage is committing yourself
- 40:42Speaker 7: to the correct course of action, regardless of the cost
- 40:45Speaker 7: associated to it. Every human being, I believe, is made
- 40:48Speaker 7: in the emitts of the divine, is sacred, is unique.
- 40:50Speaker 7: And if we get away from this principle as we have,
- 40:53Speaker 7: we not only have moral degradation, we not only have
- 40:55Speaker 7: the collapsing society around us, but it's bad for that
- 40:58Speaker 7: being itself. That being its elf is unique, that being
- 41:01Speaker 7: has rights. And who are we to say, just because
- 41:03Speaker 7: we're older, that we get to murder it.
- 41:05Speaker 4: Thank you, She's precious, isn't that something? It's just precious.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Every ounce of his being was trying to help people
- 41:23Speaker 2: find the light through faith, and that's what we have
- 41:27Speaker 2: to carry on. I hope that we can inspire people
- 41:30Speaker 2: today to lift up, Charlie, lift yourself up, get yourself
- 41:34Speaker 2: up and get yourself out, start getting involved, and don't
- 41:38Speaker 2: be tolerant. I want people to just find a way
- 41:41Speaker 2: daily to connect with God and don't back down on faith.
- 41:45Speaker 2: It's that important. It's that important. Nick. Anything you want
- 41:49Speaker 2: to add before we close out the day.
- 41:52Speaker 3: I just want, I just want to echo that. To
- 41:55Speaker 3: not be afraid. You know, you may have people who
- 42:00Speaker 3: you know speak badly to you on social media, or
- 42:05Speaker 3: speak badly to you on at your face, or they
- 42:09Speaker 3: shut the door in your face when you're trying to
- 42:11Speaker 3: talk to them or whatever screen you down. It doesn't matter.
- 42:14Speaker 3: Keep going back, keep being a light, but protect yourself.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Please be aware of what's going on around you, and
- 42:24Speaker 3: if you can, double up. Don't go alone. Don't be alone.
- 42:28Speaker 3: I know I go and do these move ons and
- 42:32Speaker 3: all of these little you know, they're no Trump, you know, king,
- 42:36Speaker 3: no kings or whatever, and people go, don't go by yourself,
- 42:39Speaker 3: and you know I probably will start taking somebody with
- 42:43Speaker 3: me because we can't stop. Do not be afraid. Do
- 42:48Speaker 3: not be afraid.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Aimen to that A sorry, yes, Charlie. We are going
- 42:54Speaker 2: to carry on, and I know Turning Point is definitely
- 42:56Speaker 2: going to carry on. In even bigger ways. And I
- 42:59Speaker 2: think through sadly, the untimely assassination of Charlie is going
- 43:05Speaker 2: to bring on even a bigger movement, bigger than MAGA,
- 43:10Speaker 2: and so it's really going to make the enemy mad.
- 43:14Speaker 2: And I think, again, folks, we got one life, We
- 43:17Speaker 2: got one life to live. I would rather be bold
- 43:20Speaker 2: and go out with the blaze than just lay there
- 43:22Speaker 2: and wait for the clock to tick until I turn
- 43:24Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty four, because I got a lot
- 43:27Speaker 2: to do and hopefully I'll get a lot of time
- 43:29Speaker 2: to get it done. But I really think that if
- 43:31Speaker 2: you're out there and you're hurting, if you don't know
- 43:33Speaker 2: what to say to your children, if you don't know
- 43:35Speaker 2: what to do, share the videos of Charlie. Let Charlie
- 43:38Speaker 2: speak with the videos out there. You watch the videos.
- 43:42Speaker 2: If you're struggling, if you're hurting, if this is only
- 43:45Speaker 2: exacerbated or further trauma for you, if you're alone, get
- 43:50Speaker 2: with someone, Get with a counselor get with a therapist.
- 43:53Speaker 2: We talked about ninety eight eight. There's lots of things
- 43:55Speaker 2: that we can suggest for you on this show or
- 43:58Speaker 2: prior shows. You know, we're live today, but these shows
- 44:01Speaker 2: do get recorded. You can always tune into them on iHeartRadio.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Just google up wellness and censored with Patty g. Being
- 44:09Speaker 2: in the mental health profession has been one of the
- 44:11Speaker 2: biggest blessings for me because through life and through some
- 44:15Speaker 2: of the difficulty that I've been through, people can be
- 44:20Speaker 2: very cruel and whether you've been in a workplace issue,
- 44:24Speaker 2: a family issue, an emotional relationship issue, mental health, there's
- 44:29Speaker 2: really good people out there to help you get strong
- 44:32Speaker 2: and get on your feet again. And it's so important
- 44:35Speaker 2: to build your faith, not build your tolerance, not to
- 44:39Speaker 2: build your fear. And I think if we add anything
- 44:43Speaker 2: to the rest of the story today, that's the bigger
- 44:45Speaker 2: message is Charlie tried to tell us, and we're going
- 44:49Speaker 2: to continue to live through what he did share and
- 44:51Speaker 2: we're going to go from beyond that. But build your faith.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Money comes and goes, friendships may come in go, but
- 45:00Speaker 2: if you start right with your faith, you can build
- 45:03Speaker 2: everything from there. And again, if you don't have someone
- 45:07Speaker 2: to talk to, look for a counselor there's lots of
- 45:10Speaker 2: different groups out there that you can get one. I
- 45:13Speaker 2: know that with Charlie. One of the other things was
- 45:16Speaker 2: to lead you led a good spirited life and you
- 45:18Speaker 2: talked about college. He didn't mean it in a bad way.
- 45:21Speaker 2: But you don't have to be the rocket scientist to
- 45:24Speaker 2: be a good person, right, And so because of that,
- 45:29Speaker 2: I want you guys to just take a second look,
- 45:32Speaker 2: look in the mirror, and what can you do to
- 45:34Speaker 2: live a good life like Charlie? And what can you
- 45:37Speaker 2: do to spread the word. We're just going to leave
- 45:40Speaker 2: it there, and in the last moment, if you guys
- 45:44Speaker 2: need to reach out, that's my QRS code. You can
- 45:47Speaker 2: find me at magnoliabwellness dot com And the QRS code
- 45:52Speaker 2: actually talks a little bit about my book. My book
- 45:55Speaker 2: is they call me Harriet, and that's my journey of
- 45:58Speaker 2: faith not fear. And when you tie all that we've
- 46:02Speaker 2: been through in the last four or five years, it's
- 46:05Speaker 2: important to know that through all of this we have
- 46:08Speaker 2: to be able to stay strong, stay the course. My
- 46:12Speaker 2: dogs are preaching it, and you guys have a wonderful
- 46:16Speaker 2: rest of your day. Look for us next Thursday, three
- 46:19Speaker 2: pm Eastern Wellness uncensored, Be well, be strong, and like
