this young lady has has gone through some horrific ordeals, and we're gonna see

just how good the Lord is. My scripture was, this is the day

that the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

The reason why I chose that scripture is because this young lady right here

has been through so many things. But upon meeting her, I see that
11:31
she is a very joyous young woman, and she is happy in spite of
11:37
all that she has gone through. At this time, I would like to

ask her if she would like to share with us a little bit about her

high school experience. Okay, so in high school, I was a point
11:54
guard for basketball. I played and then I actually went inside a group called

the Key Club, and I did that. That's to actually help the other
12:05
kids, Like we tutor them. We go on we go on trips like
12:09
six Flags, not scary farm stuff like that, but we The main thing
12:13
of that is for for kids to get theirselves together for the world, you
12:18
know, for the business life, learning how to pay bills and things like
12:22
that. But you have to be getting higher than the three point six to
12:26
be inside this program. So I was a three point eight student, guys,

because I love to know stuff. Yeah, I love to know stuff

and I love to like learn more. Knowledge is just that's me, you
12:37
know. So yeah, all right, well we thank God for your high

school experience. Prayerfully that same energy that you had in high school you'll be

able to carry it out throughout the rest of your life. Yeah, And

just speaking to you, I know that you have the wherewithal to learn and

to accept hell to be the successful, beautiful woman that you shoot out to

be. Yeah. Upon talking to you, we had spoken about some really

abusive relationships and I would like for you to share some of those things.

Okay, So the first abusive relationship that I can account and remember that I

did encountered. I was four years old. It was the ninety four.

I was molested by a family member. It didn't stop until I was like
13:30
six years old. That's when my mom, you know, I walked in
13:33
the room or whatever. Then again I was that was a sexual abuse.
13:37
And then I was sexually abused again. I was at a party with my
13:41
younger cousins and stuff, and you know, some guys they wouldn't they forced
13:46
theirself upon me. They wouldn't let me, you know, leave out the
13:48
room and stuff like that. You know, so I had to go through
13:52
that also. Wow. Yeah. Then one of my relationships that I went
13:58
through it was abusive and then I left. Then the second one was abusive

and then I left. Then the third one was like so beautiful in the
14:07
beginning. In the beginning, it was beautiful. Then he just turned into
14:13
someone else. Like I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know what
14:16
to do, and he just I got pregnant and that's when abuse started.

Wow. Now, as a result of this last abusive relationship, did you

wind up being homeless? Yes, I actually was homeless. So I lost
14:33
a lot of stuff in this last relationship that was actually my ex husband,

and I lost so much myself. First of all, I lost my house,

I lost my kids, I lost everything. You know, I'm barely
14:46
getting back to who I am. And you know, I had to call
14:48
on God and he picked me up. Amen. But we thank God for
14:54

take a little break because right now we're getting ready to talk about some very

very traumatic incidents as well as why my guest today is a walking miracle.

So I'm gonna let her start with what happened at her home before this traumatic

incident took place. Okay, So you want to talk before that entident?

Yeah, just before the accident. Okay. So I was at my relative's

house, my aunt and my cousins and stuff, and we're partying. We're
18:06
smoking, and we know, drink sometimes you're in there. Whatever we do,
18:10
we do and we wrap. Well, I'm a wrapper and I'm a
18:11
poet, so that's what I do. And so me and my me and
18:17
my cousin, I guess we got into it and I had a long weave
18:21
down to my back and she pulled. When she pulled it, she made
18:26
me be able to twist out of it. And we start fighting this stuff
18:29
like that, and then her sister locked the door. And then when her
18:32
sister got to the door, she says, I've been waiting for this.
18:34
I've been waiting for this, and I'm like, whoa, Oh, that's
18:37
what this is, you know. So I start realizing, like, okay,
18:41
So then were fighting, were all fighting and stuff, Tessaly. So
18:42
it's just me, my cousin, my other cousin, her brother, and
18:48
then her mom and the girlfriend. The mom comes and shanked me. So
18:53
I was like, uh, you know, and I'm trying to get out
18:56
the house. Once I get out the house, they all followed me.

The fake little toy gun be begun okay, and I'm like, back the
19:03
fuck up before. I'm sorry for cousin Garls. I'm so sorry. I'm

like, back the bleak up before you know, I shoot you. And

then they caught the police, and then my cousin yells. You're like,

I hope you die, Bi, I can't. I hope you get in
19:15
the car accident and died. And then I got into my car accident.

Okay. Now I want you to share with our listeners about the car accident,

of the nature of the accident, the car you up until the point
19:36
where you died. Okay. So I was in the car. I'm turning

right out of red light. It's my turn to go. It's no other
19:45
cars, so I'm turning and as I'm turning, this car can't out of
19:49
nowhere, seriously, and just smacked me and when it smacked me. I
19:52
remember seeing the headlights. When I see the headlights, I pray to God.

I said, God, please don't let me die. Then I just
19:59
went to sleep, or you know, just let go. I just let

go. Once I let go. I remember the police asking me what's my
20:07
name. I'm like, SHANEA. Alexander. I didn't want to spell it
20:08
at this point because it's too much, so I'm like SHANEA Alexander. But
20:14
I'm still feeling so much pain inside of me and I'm like, oh my
20:17
gosh, I'm hurting so bad, like I don't know why I'm hurting.

So he's like, yeah, this is the one that just um did that
20:22
stuff at her auntie's house, like you know. And then they're working on
20:27
it for a long time, and I'm like getting in and out, in
20:30
and out, and I'm like, what is taking them so long? They
20:33
used the jaws of life to get me out, and I was so compressed
20:37
and packed into the car, and when I got out, then finally removed
20:41
me. Both of my legs was broken, four of my ribs were broken,
20:45
pelvic bone area, and my right arm. And this is why I
20:49
have the staples on right now because they've just removed my ride. So I
20:52
have rods in my fumers down and I have a plate in my head on
20:57
the left side and my bone here from my ribs. And then I have
21:00
the scars on my face from the accident also and in my hand also because
21:06
I was holding my face as I was crashing, like God, please don't
21:10
let me be ugly. Right yeah. I, UM, that that's amazing.

That's that's a lot. That is a lot. And I, you
21:21
know, I really really thank God that you are here to be able to
21:25
talk about it. Um. I thank God that they were able to put
21:32
you together to make you the beautiful woman that you are right now thinking.

And um, now tell us about the experience with the death and what you
21:45
saw. Wow. Okay, So when I'm thinking, I'm asleep, I
21:51
guess. So they airlifted me to Anallope Valley hospital and after that, after
21:56
they did my surgery stuff, they took me to the rehabilitation place. That's
21:59
where I woke up. So and the dream or the death near death experience
22:04
I had was my father. He passed away when I was eighteen months old.

My cousin, she passed away when I was twenty four years old and
22:11
my uncle he passed away before I was born. There were three sitting down
22:15
in a white room playing spades, and my cousin and she talks to me.
22:18
She's like, why are you here? And I'm like, I don't
22:21
know. I've seen the doors, like you know, I'm just coming in.
22:23
And she like, do you know how to play spades? I'm like
22:26
no, and she was like exactly, so get out. It's not your
22:29
turn. And I woke up in the rehabilitation place too well, black nurse
22:33
saying. I was like, what happened? And she was like, you
22:37
were one foot in the graves baby, and I just cried. I cried,
22:40
I want my mom, you know, like I remember that like it
22:44
was yesterday. I couldn't feel anything my mouth, I couldn't really my arm,
22:48
it wasn't excruciating paying my legs. I was upset because I couldn't walk.
22:52
Then I have to be in a wheelchair for so long. And then
22:55
after the wheelchair, I did the walker and then I started gonna have to
22:59
walk. And I did this all the grace of God. I never went
23:00
to pt ever in my life. I don't even know what the office looks
23:03
like, hey, man, well, we are so grateful. Yea,
23:08
the Lord got you through that. A lot of times people have near death
23:14
experiences and experiences where they know that it's something different from a normal sleep or
23:22
a normal dream. And God he has a way of moving in his own
23:29
infinite power to let us know that He is with us. Yea, Truly
23:33
we thank God on today that God was with you and you aren't here.

So I was wondering if you had had to have any mental health counseling or
23:47
medication or anything like that. Well, um, I suffered from PTSD.

When anybody else drive and they drive like a NASCAR racer, I gets very
23:57
scared, you know. I don't. Yes, I actually I'm hearing there

sometimes, you know. But I keep myself happy because I just reach into
24:07
myself and like God, come on, man, bring my smeil back.

And then right right, thank God. I thank God for your relationship with
24:15
God, because truly that is what we need to sustain us day by day
24:19
relationship with Jesus Christ and God, Jesus Christ him crucified. So what do

you do on a daily basis? What is some of the activities that you

participate in today? Okay, so I am a pestytarian, which means the
24:38
only eat fish because what did God give fish and fish? So I only
24:44
eat fish as of the meat part and more of the more of the vegetables
24:48
and fruit. So that's will be one of my breakfasts like that, and
24:52
then me and my sister will work out and then I will write poems in
24:56
my book or I will write songs or just job down things that I want

to happen, like my manifestation book. And I can't get my friends because
25:06
I love them and they love me. What about what about school? Oh?

School, Yeah, I'm going to school too right now. So I'm

going to school for business to manage me because I want to be able to
25:18
get like so with my business, I actually have a lot of ideas,

but the biggest idea for me is actually helping the homeless be only because I
25:26
went through that, and since I went through that, I know how people
25:29
look at you and I know how people can judge you. I have no
25:32
judgments at all, you know, I'm not very judgmental because I have the
25:34
past also, you know, and for a flower to bloom and have to
25:38
go through the dark, you know, right, So the name of this

like to share some of the things that triggered you to do some of the

things that you did, if that's if you're okay with talking about that,

Yeah, definitely. So basically, in my last relationship, I was in

that relationship for twelve years and it was not on an off relationship. We

will break up sometimes, but we was always together even the times we break
26:15
up. So we was like, you know, and if he stepped out
26:17
and stuff like that, I would get upset. You know. I was
26:19
kind of toxic with him, that's it. And he was toxic also,
26:22
but he had a drug habit, and his drug habit was cocaine, you
26:26
know. So that's why his emotions will call up and down, up and
26:30
down, you know. And then once my kids got removed from my home,
26:34
I started to dip it too, and I started using. And then
26:40
I used until I told my family. I used until I wasn't ashamed of
26:45
it anymore. And I would say, like, you know, here and
26:49
there I would do it, but now I don't do it at all,
26:52
you know, so whole you know what I'm thinking that I was really like
26:59
my family something like you was really crazy usually on one like you know,

you would do stuff that was out of the norm, like we couldn't even
27:04
understand who you were, like you know, um, And I'm like,
27:08
well, I was on drugs, right, And a lot of people don't
27:12
realize that when you are on drugs. And I don't feel like the Long
27:18
Ranger I did seventeen years of crack cocaine. So I know where you're coming
27:23
from. A lot of people that have never never indulged, they'll never be
27:29
able to understand some of the things that we have done and the things that
27:33
we have done that we were never do in our right mind. So I
27:37
tip my hat off to you for being clean and sober and annoying that you
27:44
have to live life on life's terms because life is in session. And I'm
27:51
very grateful for your sobriety. So I understand you have a poem that you

voice. You know, it's different to reach out to be able to grasp

who I need to grasp and tell them like God is real. God is
