- 0:00Speaker 1: And now Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What's up everybody?
- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome to Move the Sticks, DJ, Bucky Rhett with you guys.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We got through the first week. We got the Monday
- 0:13Speaker 1: night in the in the rearview mirror here. First of all, Any,
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'll start with you, Buck, Any what's your Monday night plans?
- 0:19Speaker 1: But what were you doing last night? Were you nestled
- 0:20Speaker 1: up on the couch? We out running around? We have
- 0:22Speaker 1: high school stuff going on. What were we doing last
- 0:24Speaker 1: night for Monday Night?
- 0:25Speaker 3: Okay, So I don't know if you guys are aware of,
- 0:26Speaker 3: but right now Direct TV and Disney they're in the dispute.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Oh so, so I got caught up in it, so
- 0:34Speaker 3: I don't have the ability to watch it that way.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Luckily I have Hulu, so I could watch it on Hulu.
- 0:38Speaker 3: But it's annoying that we're still going through this thing.
- 0:42Speaker 3: So I couldn't really go through it the way that
- 0:45Speaker 3: I normally would go through it. But normally on Monday nights,
- 0:47Speaker 3: I'll check it out. I kind of have it in
- 0:48Speaker 3: the background. It's weird on the West Coast, the game
- 0:51Speaker 3: being a five fifteen game, so it's kind of right
- 0:53Speaker 3: in the middle of dinner time, like you kind of cooking,
- 0:55Speaker 3: kind of got it on in the background and that stuff.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Are you cooking?
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yeah, something I'm on the stove like like like like
- 1:03Speaker 3: I'm fully I'm fully baked.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I can, I can.
- 1:07Speaker 1: What was what was on the menu last night? I
- 1:09Speaker 1: am curious about this.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I mean normally like it's something ground turkey.
- 1:14Speaker 1: This is no no no no no no no no no.
- 1:16Speaker 2: No bar pork jobst.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Who pork jobs? Like I'm coming over next Monday.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Like, well, man, when you're in high school, you have
- 1:26Speaker 3: to take like a home agg class.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Well you can hold on, no you we didn't. We
- 1:30Speaker 1: didn't click pork chops in my home ac class. I
- 1:32Speaker 1: can tell you that a snicker doodle. I think we
- 1:35Speaker 1: made a snickerdoodle. That was as far as we got.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Yeah, So for me, uh, solo parenting this week, so
- 1:42Speaker 4: you know, I was trying to cook up, you know,
- 1:44Speaker 4: cook up dinner for the kiddos, and thankfully, Dino, my
- 1:47Speaker 4: dad reminded me. He was like, hey, you're watching the
- 1:49Speaker 4: Manning Cast. I was like, oh god, what time is it?
- 1:52Speaker 4: And all of a sudden it was it was forty five,
- 1:54Speaker 4: and he was telling me Belichick was really intriguing and
- 1:57Speaker 4: it was really interesting, and so flipped it on, had
- 2:00Speaker 4: it on a little bit in the background while it was,
- 2:03Speaker 4: you know, finishing up dinner, building some legos, watching some
- 2:06Speaker 4: Nebraska tape and listening to Belichick talk talk to the Mannings.
- 2:11Speaker 5: So yeah, it was good. It was it was fun.
- 2:14Speaker 4: You know, I didn't watch every snap of this thing,
- 2:17Speaker 4: but well, you certainly got a feel that, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 4: this was typical Kyle Shanahan. You know, you don't have
- 2:23Speaker 4: Christian McCaffrey. Let's make the undrafted free agent rookie back,
- 2:26Speaker 4: rookie running back a star two in Jordan Mason. And
- 2:29Speaker 4: that's that's what we got in this game. Didn't need
- 2:31Speaker 4: to see them, see they had Jordan Mason.
- 2:33Speaker 5: That was enough.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they were They were the more physical team. Yeah,
- 2:36Speaker 1: clearly in that game. And you know, and I think
- 2:40Speaker 1: we should probably start with with a rod what we
- 2:41Speaker 1: saw from Aaron Rodgers. I went back and watched that
- 2:44Speaker 1: this morning, and uh, you know, Buck, it was interesting
- 2:46Speaker 1: because you've you're watching it on TV. And this is
- 2:48Speaker 1: again why scouts don't just watch TV copy. You got
- 2:52Speaker 1: to put on the All twenty two and really look
- 2:54Speaker 1: at it and study it. I came away somewhat encouraged,
- 2:57Speaker 1: uh when I when I watched the video, just because
- 3:00Speaker 1: we always have said, like you kind of grade the
- 3:02Speaker 1: flashes if you can do it once we know you
- 3:04Speaker 1: can do it. He had a couple vintage Aaron Rodgers
- 3:07Speaker 1: throws in that game, like just lasers, beautiful balls. I thought,
- 3:13Speaker 1: though there was definitely rust. The interception, he double hitches,
- 3:17Speaker 1: he's late, the ball gets popped away and ends up
- 3:20Speaker 1: getting picked off. Okay, that's just getting comfortable again with
- 3:22Speaker 1: the timing, full speed reps with your white house. I
- 3:25Speaker 1: think it was Garrett Wilson just not a little outroute,
- 3:27Speaker 1: just having a little more confidence of where he's going
- 3:29Speaker 1: to be to trust it and get the ball out.
- 3:31Speaker 1: That'll get better as it goes along. There was some
- 3:35Speaker 1: just accuracy stuff even on like the last one on
- 3:37Speaker 1: the last in completion he had on the fourth down
- 3:40Speaker 1: buck he hits the upfield shoulder. They might he might
- 3:42Speaker 1: go like he might, Garrett Wilson might split that and go.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It was all slants. He had the matchup he wanted.
- 3:48Speaker 1: He had the little flat that way to pull the
- 3:50Speaker 1: linebacker out he gets that upfield shoulder. It's literally the
- 3:52Speaker 1: safety with about ten yards and you're gonna have Garrett
- 3:56Speaker 1: Wilson with a three way go on a safety at
- 3:58Speaker 1: full speed. But the balls, the balls a little behind,
- 4:00Speaker 1: it's a little low, it gets poked away, or it
- 4:02Speaker 1: actually grabs Garrett Wilson's hand, and that's incomplete. So just
- 4:07Speaker 1: a couple of those things a little bit off, a
- 4:08Speaker 1: little bit late. I came away thinking, Okay, that's gonna
- 4:12Speaker 1: get better. They need to get Mike Williams up and
- 4:14Speaker 1: running to get somebody else to throw the ball to.
- 4:16Speaker 1: They need to get Conkling involved more as a tight end, like,
- 4:20Speaker 1: they need to find other avenues to distribute the football.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But in terms of Aaron Rodgers himself, I came away thinking, okay,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's that that good play is still in there. There's
- 4:30Speaker 1: some rust that needs to be knocked off.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to knock off the rust.
- 4:34Speaker 3: And you know the thing is, I am sure Aaron
- 4:37Speaker 3: Rodgers is a little apprehensive like that first game out.
- 4:39Speaker 3: No matter how long you've played the game coming off
- 4:41Speaker 3: the injury, it's always different, and so it kind of
- 4:44Speaker 3: impacts the way that you perform and play I know
- 4:46Speaker 3: Robert Silaz said after the game that is rather to
- 4:49Speaker 3: be a one to one with Aaron Rodgers than one
- 4:50Speaker 3: to oh without him.
- 4:52Speaker 2: They will continue to get better.
- 4:53Speaker 3: They certainly have the firepower offensively to be able to
- 4:56Speaker 3: create problems as Aaron Rodgers gets comfortable.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I think the most concerning part for me would be
- 5:02Speaker 2: the inability to.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Stop the Niners seven straight scoring drives, not being able
- 5:07Speaker 3: to deal with their physicality and toughness. And it's weird
- 5:11Speaker 3: for Robert Saltham to say this, but he said that
- 5:13Speaker 3: they got a taste of championship caliber ball. I think
- 5:17Speaker 3: they should already be operating at that. You came from that,
- 5:19Speaker 3: you know what San Francisco is. You should be talking
- 5:22Speaker 3: and trying to set those standards for your team, even
- 5:24Speaker 3: though like, yeah, it's different when you face a team
- 5:26Speaker 3: like that. You would think four years into your tenure
- 5:29Speaker 3: they kind of have a feel for what that looks
- 5:31Speaker 3: like and what that smells like.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I'll just you know, the last thing
- 5:35Speaker 4: I'll say is I'm glad you brought that ninth straight
- 5:37Speaker 4: scoring drives thing up, because like, all right, you know
- 5:39Speaker 4: they go three and out, they forced a three and
- 5:41Speaker 4: out in the first possession of the game and they
- 5:43Speaker 4: don't keep them off the scoreboard for the rest of
- 5:46Speaker 4: the game. That's that's pretty dang impressive if you're the
- 5:49Speaker 4: forty nine ers offense, especially missing arguably your best player
- 5:52Speaker 4: there in Christian McCaffrey.
- 5:53Speaker 5: The other other.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Piece of it, you know that you touched on I
- 5:57Speaker 4: think is a home run there. They got to have
- 5:59Speaker 4: something in addition to Garrett Wilson. Yeah, sure, Alan Lazard
- 6:02Speaker 4: caught two touchdowns in this game, but he had as
- 6:04Speaker 4: many targets in this game as he had all of
- 6:08Speaker 4: last season, which you know, I didn't play all sixteen
- 6:11Speaker 4: seventeen last year. But like, that's that seems like a
- 6:14Speaker 4: lot going that way. Only two receivers, you know, getting
- 6:17Speaker 4: targets of any kind from Aaron Rodgers. There's definitely more
- 6:21Speaker 4: they need. They need Mike Williams in a bad way
- 6:23Speaker 4: there to get this thing rolling here a little bit.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Give them some more options, give them some more some
- 6:27Speaker 4: more places to go with the ball.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Only thing I'll say, though, there were some things in
- 6:31Speaker 1: this game that were specific to the forty nine ers defense.
- 6:35Speaker 1: In other words, they got like Bryce Hall the ball
- 6:39Speaker 1: out in some space on the perimeter. And I swear
- 6:42Speaker 1: to you that if there's two other linebackers other than
- 6:45Speaker 1: Fred Warner that could have made some of those plays
- 6:46Speaker 1: in space, I mean that might be excessive like he is.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That was watching that tape, I was like, holy moly.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I don't know if we talk about Fred Warner enough,
- 6:54Speaker 1: like he is unbelievable.
- 6:57Speaker 2: And some of those.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Plays against normal linebackers get out in space, they're not
- 7:01Speaker 1: getting breeze hall on the ground. And once we've seen
- 7:04Speaker 1: once he gets out into the open field like that's
- 7:06Speaker 1: legit four to three speed and he can run away
- 7:08Speaker 1: from everybody. So I think that that'll look better against
- 7:11Speaker 1: a non forty nine er defense, But they do need
- 7:14Speaker 1: to find different ways to spread the ball around. The
- 7:16Speaker 1: other thing, the other takeaway, I posted a play. I
- 7:20Speaker 1: don't know if you guys saw it, but man, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: don't know that I've ever seen somebody aboard a spin
- 7:25Speaker 1: like Nick Bosa did. He's outside. If you haven't seen it,
- 7:28Speaker 1: you got to go watch it. I post him on Twitter.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But he goes to spin and almost like he kind
- 7:33Speaker 1: of gets caught. This is against Tyron Smith, the Hall
- 7:35Speaker 1: of Famer, and then he kind of gets caught with
- 7:37Speaker 1: a spin and buck he just like literally like you
- 7:40Speaker 1: hear the backup truck him, he just goes backwards. He
- 7:44Speaker 1: backwards bulls Tyron Smith right into Aaron Rodgers' lap. I'm like,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I don't know that I've ever even seen that before,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but that's a different way. It was a backwards bull rush.
- 7:53Speaker 1: That's the first time I've ever written that my note.
- 7:57Speaker 2: He is he is something else.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And I just remember why to him when he was
- 8:00Speaker 3: coming out of how you state the conversations that we
- 8:02Speaker 3: had and looking at him about how technically savvy he was,
- 8:05Speaker 3: and even though it was abbreviated his final season, he
- 8:08Speaker 3: had all the tools when he came to the league,
- 8:10Speaker 3: and he continues to expand his toolbox.
- 8:12Speaker 2: And I think the thing for me and.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Watching him is the stamina in terms of like how
- 8:19Speaker 3: long he is able to play at that level without
- 8:21Speaker 3: wearing down. Because what the Niners used to be in
- 8:24Speaker 3: terms of being able to roll a bunch of different
- 8:26Speaker 3: guys in, they're not quite that same unit, and so
- 8:29Speaker 3: he has to play more snaps but continues to be
- 8:31Speaker 3: the same dominant player.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Rhett, there was another nugget along those lines. It's
- 8:38Speaker 1: from a different game, but from actually it was Raiders.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So Max Crosby, I'm trying to find the nugget laid all.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Sixty one snaps. Did you see that?
- 8:45Speaker 1: But did you see how many times he's done it?
- 8:48Speaker 5: It's incredible.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Fourteen times he's played every snap and I don't think
- 8:53Speaker 1: any other defensive lineman have done it more than one
- 8:55Speaker 1: one time during that run fourteen And I just feel
- 9:00Speaker 1: like that's something that we've all talked about in the
- 9:03Speaker 1: run up to the draft, and I feel a lot
- 9:04Speaker 1: more recently. Uh fuck, we've hammered like gas tank, Like
- 9:08Speaker 1: these guys have an endless gas tank. Bucky's told the
- 9:10Speaker 1: story about Bruce Smith a million times about Bruce Smith
- 9:13Speaker 1: would get on a stair climber after practice like those guys,
- 9:16Speaker 1: those elite, elite guys can go forever and with BOTHA.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I didn't see him ever get tired out there either.
- 9:21Speaker 5: No, that's a great point. Yeah, Crosby's insane.
- 9:25Speaker 2: I mean that is that is that is beyond, that
- 9:28Speaker 2: is crazy, and not only that first game of the season.
- 9:32Speaker 3: So when you think about like training camp, preseason games,
- 9:35Speaker 3: whether you played minimal snaps or whatever, to be like
- 9:39Speaker 3: in that kind of fitness to have that level of
- 9:42Speaker 3: callous you know, like, yeah, that's you don't get to
- 9:45Speaker 3: that point to get game three or four in the
- 9:48Speaker 3: regular season where you used to play in games.
- 9:49Speaker 2: That's the credit to him in his preparation.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Before we take it, before we took a quick quick
- 9:53Speaker 1: break again that in scouting for those who't know, when
- 9:57Speaker 1: you go down on the field before the games, your
- 9:59Speaker 1: body type guys, you're just saying to get a visual
- 10:02Speaker 1: of what their body looks like. I have to go
- 10:04Speaker 1: back and look at previous uh images of Trent Williams.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Is he carrying? He looked like he was carrying an
- 10:10Speaker 1: extra twenty pounds? Am I am? I am? I just
- 10:13Speaker 1: not paid close enough attention to how big he's gotten
- 10:16Speaker 1: over the last couple of years. I mean, he plays phenomenal,
- 10:18Speaker 1: he's a he's a one on one freak show. But
- 10:20Speaker 1: he looked like he was carrying a little bit extra weight.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Did you guys notice that at all?
- 10:24Speaker 4: I didn't notice it off like it wasn't top of mind.
- 10:27Speaker 4: But I'll definitely go back and look at that now.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I mean, not the not the most matter thing in
- 10:33Speaker 1: the world, but he's a great player. But I just
- 10:35Speaker 1: looked at him like, gosh, I did not remember him
- 10:36Speaker 1: being that big as he looked in that game. Still
- 10:39Speaker 1: moving like he does, which is pretty incredible. But I'm
- 10:42Speaker 1: always you know, when guys have have held out or
- 10:44Speaker 1: haven't been around the team as much, that's one of
- 10:46Speaker 1: the things you're kind of you're keeping an eye on
- 10:48Speaker 1: and hope that he's just maintains his health. So that's
- 10:52Speaker 1: that was the one thing I was thinking of. All Right,
- 10:53Speaker 1: we'll take a quick break, we'll come back, we'll get
- 10:55Speaker 1: into the rookie draft results, and we'll have our draft
- 10:58Speaker 1: for this upcoming weekend right after this. Guys, I didn't
- 11:05Speaker 1: make the rules. I didn't pick the draft order. Okay,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I know you guys are sitting.
- 11:09Speaker 5: Yeah, DJ gets.
- 11:10Speaker 1: The first overall pick. Look who won Week one? You know,
- 11:13Speaker 1: like it's all coordinated. It's uh, it is what it is.
- 11:16Speaker 1: It is. I came away it was I did come
- 11:20Speaker 1: away with a win. Here, Bucky second place, Rett third place.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I feel like that's how we finished last year. If
- 11:24Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken, I think I don't think so. I don't.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure. Uh, Jayden Daniels being the first pick
- 11:32Speaker 1: for me got me that win. And then my last pick,
- 11:34Speaker 1: so each got three guys. My Maconkie getting in the
- 11:37Speaker 1: in zone late in that ball game helped me edge
- 11:39Speaker 1: out Bucky in that round because.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I think in a government would call it inside of trade.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, well I went, I went.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I said it.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It was a homer pick. Bucky got some points for
- 11:50Speaker 1: the round. No, actually RHTT got the round too because
- 11:53Speaker 1: Xavier Worthy had a huge game, uh with with the
- 11:57Speaker 1: win there, so I got the points for Daniels. Bucky
- 12:01Speaker 1: had second place with Nicks. Caleb really didn't do much,
- 12:04Speaker 1: so that was Rehet's Reet's pick there. Man Marvin Harrison
- 12:07Speaker 1: Junior did nothing. Uh so I was last in the
- 12:10Speaker 1: second round.
- 12:12Speaker 5: What's that about the way?
- 12:13Speaker 1: So I went back and watched that they didn't even look.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I mean, everybody's posting that one play, which I'm not
- 12:17Speaker 1: going to overreact to that one. It was kind of
- 12:18Speaker 1: a broken play where he got vertical and he didn't
- 12:21Speaker 1: Kyler didn't see him. He dropped the ball early and
- 12:25Speaker 1: then they hit him on a little out route and
- 12:27Speaker 1: then that they didn't even look at him. Now, it
- 12:31Speaker 1: was interesting watching him. He is you know, it's it's
- 12:35Speaker 1: it's different watching him than some of these other top
- 12:37Speaker 1: guys over previous years, Like if you look at we
- 12:40Speaker 1: were talking about Garrett Wilson, like just super fluid and
- 12:43Speaker 1: smooth and how they move. I thought, even just kind
- 12:46Speaker 1: of watching him at the top of routes, there's Marvin
- 12:48Speaker 1: Harrison Junior has some there's some tightness there. I think
- 12:50Speaker 1: he's more of a power forward type player. Like if
- 12:53Speaker 1: you think of how d Hop has been used throughout
- 12:56Speaker 1: his career. But you got to give him some chances
- 12:59Speaker 1: to make play. Get him some slants, let them wall
- 13:02Speaker 1: guys off, give him some back shoulders, get him down
- 13:04Speaker 1: the field, let him let that size play a little
- 13:06Speaker 1: bit in the elite ball skills.
- 13:08Speaker 2: But they didn't.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Even I just tried. It hard to believe you take
- 13:10Speaker 1: a guy that high in the draft and not have
- 13:13Speaker 1: anything in play for him week right, Like that just Buck,
- 13:17Speaker 1: were your thoughts on that? That was kind of bizarre
- 13:19Speaker 1: to me?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I thought it was weird that.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I mean, look, man, when he comes into the league,
- 13:25Speaker 3: he's a number one receiver and that's the thing where
- 13:28Speaker 3: you're designing plays to get him the ball and to
- 13:30Speaker 3: get him active early. And so I think it's an
- 13:32Speaker 3: era user error. Not only the offensive coordinated, but also
- 13:35Speaker 3: the quarterback caller. Murray has to know that Marvin Harrison
- 13:38Speaker 3: is going through the extended stretches without touching the rock.
- 13:41Speaker 3: That's kind of like one of those things that when
- 13:43Speaker 3: you're a point guard in basketball, you know when your
- 13:46Speaker 3: guys have gotten shots and when they had and he
- 13:48Speaker 3: has to make sure that the guy's engage that guys
- 13:50Speaker 3: active because they need him. I would expect to see
- 13:53Speaker 3: this week Marvin Harrison get a heavy workloak because you
- 13:57Speaker 3: can't have that.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Again.
- 13:58Speaker 3: The criticism is going to make it where he gets
- 14:00Speaker 3: probably the first three balls come his way to make
- 14:03Speaker 3: sure that he's in the game plan.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Yeah, George doubling up in targets just doesn't quite feel
- 14:09Speaker 4: right considering what we all expect Marvin Harrison to be,
- 14:12Speaker 4: and I would imagine that does change.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, So we get to the draft this
- 14:16Speaker 1: week again everything flips. So the order is gonna be
- 14:20Speaker 1: Bucky than Rahett than myself and then we'll snake it
- 14:23Speaker 1: back around here. So Buck, you are up first here,
- 14:26Speaker 1: you got the first pick, Week two rookie draft.
- 14:28Speaker 2: What are you thinking, Well, I'm gonna do what you did.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna take the quarterback Jade and Daniels first, to
- 14:34Speaker 3: make sure that I have him underway, because the one
- 14:36Speaker 3: thing that we know about Jade and Daniels, if he
- 14:38Speaker 3: doesn't throw four bunchs, he's gonna run four bunch And
- 14:40Speaker 3: that is what happened this week.
- 14:42Speaker 2: So Jade and Daniels, welcome. We appreciate you, all right.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I don't care about the quarterbacks now. So, I mean, look,
- 14:50Speaker 4: I think Caleb's going to be a lot better than
- 14:52Speaker 4: he was. But I mean, it doesn't get much easier
- 14:55Speaker 4: what he's facing these next three weeks in terms of
- 14:57Speaker 4: defenses Texans, Colts, and Rams. So I think it's Texans
- 15:01Speaker 4: this week. Right, Yeah, I'm gonna pass on that right now.
- 15:05Speaker 5: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Back to the well save you're worthy right now. I mean,
- 15:10Speaker 4: I just I just think the Chiefs are gonna like.
- 15:11Speaker 1: To ride the horses. He he likes to ride the
- 15:15Speaker 1: same horse he did this last year. I don't think
- 15:17Speaker 1: it worked out for you. I believe you finished the
- 15:19Speaker 1: last place, right, I'm pretty sure yeah, you did not win.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Uh the bill, get in the chat. There's no way
- 15:26Speaker 1: that you want pretty chance, zero chance? All right, DJ?
- 15:29Speaker 1: What do you got we're looking that up? Yeah, pretty sure,
- 15:33Speaker 1: DJ One, thanks the Bill and Rhet got last. Yes, yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: well what kind of what kind of memory are you
- 15:38Speaker 1: coming with? I think we accountability pretty close, and.
- 15:44Speaker 5: I don't know about that.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Okay, So all right, you're gonna go worthy. I've got
- 15:48Speaker 1: two pops at it here. I'm gonna go h all right,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna go I'm gonna go back to neighbors. So
- 15:58Speaker 1: I am kind of riding this same horse from that standpoint,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and then I'm going to you know what, I'm going back. Well,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to MCCONKEI yeah, okay, the Panthers. They
- 16:13Speaker 1: play the Panthers. How do you not do that? I'm
- 16:15Speaker 1: gonna go McConkey with my second one.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, I'll wait on the quarterback.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, we're both gonna be waiting that one out.
- 16:22Speaker 5: You're gonna get left. I think is that there?
- 16:25Speaker 2: I think you back up?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Right? Yeah?
- 16:27Speaker 5: I am.
- 16:27Speaker 4: And so right now I'm kind of deciding between Brian Thomas, Junior,
- 16:31Speaker 4: Bucky and Brock MS. I just think they're gonna continue
- 16:36Speaker 4: to find ways to get Brock Bowers of football. We
- 16:38Speaker 4: talked about that on the On the Recap show.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Hey, hey, by the way, I'll give you guys. I'll
- 16:42Speaker 1: give you guys either one of your twenty bucks off
- 16:45Speaker 1: the top of your head, if you can tell me
- 16:47Speaker 1: which rookie, which rookie receiver had the most targets in
- 16:51Speaker 1: the NFL Week one twenty bucks.
- 16:53Speaker 5: It's not Brian Thomas. He only had four.
- 16:56Speaker 1: But I wrote this is just in jest because I
- 16:58Speaker 1: did just do my ninjeo hr thing. So there's is
- 17:01Speaker 1: no there's no I would like to strike that from
- 17:04Speaker 1: the record. There is no money being involved in that. Actually,
- 17:07Speaker 1: if you guys could have any guesses on who might
- 17:10Speaker 1: have okay, ricky targets, I want that to be known.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I don't need any emails or phone calls.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Was it xavierly get no agh.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You say.
- 17:23Speaker 1: No, no, according I'm on PFF Ultimate right now. And
- 17:28Speaker 1: Lagette had seven targets or in PFF Ultimate eight Devon
- 17:33Speaker 1: Veley with the Broncos had eight targets, eight receptions for
- 17:39Speaker 1: thirty nine yards. Oh wow, not the most dynamic. Not
- 17:45Speaker 1: the most dynamic eight for thirty nine stat line right there, Uh,
- 17:49Speaker 1: bough Nick's not pushing it down the field very much. Apparently.
- 17:52Speaker 2: No. No.
- 17:53Speaker 5: In fact, I mean we talked about that yesterday, remember
- 17:57Speaker 5: I mean thirty nine.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you want to take them, you want to take No,
- 18:03Speaker 4: I don't think I'm going that way. I'm gonna go
- 18:05Speaker 4: back to Bowers. Okay, I'm gonna take Bowers there.
- 18:09Speaker 3: You know what, right, You're you kind of nick saving
- 18:12Speaker 3: this in terms of like do you eat the same
- 18:14Speaker 3: thing every day at the same time you took Like
- 18:19Speaker 3: I'm just wondering, like, I'm wonder if you're like the
- 18:21Speaker 3: little Debbie snack.
- 18:22Speaker 5: I'm not every day, like.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Every day like the same little meal. Okay, sugar Okay.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So all right, So off the board, we have who
- 18:33Speaker 2: read your two players?
- 18:34Speaker 4: You have we guys, Yeah, worthy neighbors. Maconkie and Bowers
- 18:38Speaker 4: are gone.
- 18:39Speaker 1: So you got to take two weapons.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, because Daydon Daniels is mine. All right.
- 18:44Speaker 4: So, by the way, Bucky Irving might be into the
- 18:47Speaker 4: driven guy. I know I might out here soon.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I love coming to the driving school.
- 18:53Speaker 2: We all wait, he's not he's waiting.
- 18:57Speaker 3: You're not gonna get me there, all right, So let's
- 18:59Speaker 3: go Marvin Harrison Jr. We're gonna take him right out
- 19:02Speaker 3: the gate because I feel like coming off of poor
- 19:03Speaker 3: performers down effort to get him the ball, and also
- 19:07Speaker 3: another team coming off of poor effort, the New York Giants,
- 19:11Speaker 3: mylik neighbors has to get back, he has to get.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Okay, so BTJ, then I'm gonna go home.
- 19:17Speaker 5: You going going home?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Or pick?
- 19:19Speaker 5: All right? That's good?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, And so that leaves us the quarterbacks here, and man,
- 19:25Speaker 4: it's not a pretty pick.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I don't love this.
- 19:29Speaker 4: We got going up against the Steelers, who made your cousins,
- 19:34Speaker 4: you know, not look so great, uh Falcons, and I
- 19:37Speaker 4: got the Bears on the road at Houston. That's this
- 19:43Speaker 4: is not all right. Give me Caleb. He's gonna make
- 19:45Speaker 4: something happen. Give me Caleb. All right, Yeah I was,
- 19:49Speaker 4: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with Nicks from my
- 19:52Speaker 4: last one.
- 19:52Speaker 5: If you, if you had the choice, though, would you
- 19:54Speaker 5: have taken Caleb.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I want to have taken Caleb. Yeah, all right, there
- 19:58Speaker 1: we go, there we go. We'll see wee here. We've
- 20:00Speaker 1: got one one one win under my belt. I'm still
- 20:03Speaker 1: waiting for the official confirmation that RTT finished last, but
- 20:06Speaker 1: we I.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Think it got pretty close as far as I understand,
- 20:09Speaker 4: and like close enough to where I could have just
- 20:10Speaker 4: been any one of us could have won.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, well yeah, exactly what we're saying there. All right,
- 20:15Speaker 1: that's it. That's going to wrap it up for today.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I hope you guys have enjoyed it. Rhet, thanks for
- 20:19Speaker 1: popping on. Yeah, we'll see you back next week. Appreciate you, buddy.
