- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fuck ya Friday!
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck ya!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity, and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guests will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, BiaBae, Happy Friday.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: We're here at the end of September.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: You made it.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: We are on the precipice of the last quarter, and that can make you freak out.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: Full of sense of urgency.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Feel your behind and you're not.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: You're exactly where you're supposed to be.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're here listening to a fuck-guet Friday episode because you need some inspiration.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: You need to know that there's good things that are happening out there.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: And you could be sharing that.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: You can send your wins or your questions into the Bipod at Bipod.com slash questions.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: They'll be a tap at your questions.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we answer those on Thursdays.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I tap for your wins.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so we can share them here with everybody.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: and no win is too small to share.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, this inspired me on the internet.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: It says, in my agriculture, autism is known as a msit.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: Crazy.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: Take you one tango, meaning in their own time and space.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: In their own time and space.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: And this powerful word reflects a world view that honors neurodiversity, seen each person's way of being as valid, dignified, and deserving of respect.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: Rather than focus on deficits, tucky one, tanga, if you're a New Zealand person, if you can help me translate that I'm happy to learn it.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: Encourage an inclusion, understanding, and the belief that everyone experiences life at their own pace and in their own unique way.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: Let's embrace perspectives, rooted in respect,
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: the Tonga relationships.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: I learned so many words there.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: I put the link in the show notes you can read this for yourself, but this is really beautiful to me because I think it's a lot of talk about autism.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of more information than we have on it.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's a great podcast about autism and different people like nonverbal autistic.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I just want to say like,
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: There are so many people who are saying things about people who are autistic in a way that makes it sound like we're focusing on like what they can't do and guess what I'm going to tell you right now while I'm not Autistic there's a lot of things I can't do and we don't have a name for that for me right there's a name for that for you for the things you can't do and so what if we actually
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: not like it's going to suck along the way but keep going you know i named elevate our program for teachers who are you know diving into teaching at another level because i want them to elevate their practice i that's how i choose things agency i want to remind our agency members that they actually have agency to do the things that they want to do so i i share this with you always just to say like
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: But if we focus on what makes this unique and celebrated that versus like all the things that someone can't do, right?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now, take the footage well, but I hope that inspires you.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: And also I just saw this and I thought this is the most beautiful thing in the whole world in their own space and time.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: We should all be allowed to be in our own space and time.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so that is something that inspired me.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: There's a link in the show notes to go there and check it out.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: And we have, keyed on the link.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I've quietly slipped this onto the internet.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the blog link up yet.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: I still need a couple new pictures here, but there it is, LL says who says done is better than perfect.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: The PolottiesDula.com.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is made with Nadine and Digital Brand Kids website template and I would recommend it.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, Katie D, thank you for feeling that you can share it with the be it pod.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Your amazing win, which is done is better than perfect in your website.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: Use a website template to get this done and put up there.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I know by the time that this is airing, that it's even more done and even more in the process, but also like watching you over these last several years, take one step at a time towards who you want to help and help in those people has been so beautiful.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: and you are a perfect example of like we are not on a race, you know, you can have the life you want to have and help the people you want to have without overworking and you really are doing that with grace.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so the Pilates do let.com.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so glad we got to share that with the world.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: And can we see what you do next with it?
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: Also, Nadine, you all, she was on the beat pod.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: We'll put her link to her show in the show notes.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: And she has, if you want to make a website, she does have a template, she's got some great stuff.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure that you use our fabulous links so that they know that you are sent by us and they give you the special treatment, of course.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, now a win of mine.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: So my win is,
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: sense to lie, I haven't been home for more than two weeks at a time, not at all.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that usually makes me feel like, oh my god, I have to cram all this stuff in.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: I have to do all these things that I think have told you guys this, we've, I said, and I've been playing over a year and advance on how to make sure we stay ahead of the game so that I'm not behind and they're in those two weeks.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not actually cramming to get things in because I want to be sick.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so not only am I not behind on things, I'm actually ahead of everything too.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: I am spending this weekend whether bears my best friend.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so this is going with her.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I am only home for two weeks, barely, barely two weeks before we're off to Chicago and then off to Cambodia, we'll be gone for 21 days.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, I could have been like, no, this isn't, there's not the right time.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: She also could have said it's not the right time.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: This actually a joint win with us is she actually is leaving the same day.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm leaving for Chicago.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: She's leaving to this apartment Arkansas, like life is busy.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: But we are intentional about getting together almost every year.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of ends up being every other year, but we do do something together.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so, intentionality.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: is important and celebrating the win that we did it.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: We did the thing so we can make this happen.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: We could spend time with it each other and just take some time to be with our friends.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: So, if you say yes to a friend for coffee and you actually go do it, and you do me a favor, pay yourself on the back and celebrate that win that you did.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: That you have so many things you could do.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: But you spend time with your friend and had coffee.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Those coffee dates add up their important.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, again, an episode to remind you that when's happened in all shapes and sizes and all kinds of different things to me, a win?
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: And my win is I'm having a great time with a girlfriend in my own hometown.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, during the during the busy chaos of our travels because because friendships are important and we need that.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, anyways, if you need tips on how to plan ahead and how to do your schedule and how to do those things, I'm happy to answer them.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: You need to bring guests on.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: We can make it a series, but just know that like
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: You can have a lot of what you want.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: We just have to actually make sure if it's in the schedule.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it's hard to cram things in.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: And you'll feel like you can't say yes to things.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: If you're procrastinating all the time on yourself, right?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: So do the hard things earlier.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: And you can say yes to all the fun things.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I have to say.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: We need an affirmation.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: All right, here we go.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: The affirmation is,
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: I make time to experience grief and sadness when necessary.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: I make time to experience grief and sadness when necessary.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: I make time to experience grief and sadness when necessary.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Love is telling your feelings is so important.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: It really is.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: It really is.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then letting them go.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now, until next time, be a TACM.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I got for this episode of The Be It Tell You See A Podcast.
