- 0:06Speaker 3: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on w o R.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Kim
- 0:14Speaker 1: in Connecticut. Kim, how you doing good?
- 0:17Speaker 4: Thanks?
- 0:18Speaker 3: I've been listening to your show about the recent homeless
- 0:23Speaker 3: situation in New York, what Mandannie's doing there? And I
- 0:27Speaker 3: just wanted to say that this is spreading like a cancer.
- 0:30Speaker 3: It is in Connecticut now among the socialist Democrats. Connecticut
- 0:38Speaker 3: is totally run by the Democratic Party. You have two
- 0:41Speaker 3: Democratic senators.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Well, you got the two worst senators, two really really
- 0:47Speaker 1: ugly bad.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Senators, the really worst.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Now your governor's not so bad. Your governor has moments
- 0:52Speaker 1: of very very very bad behavior. Uh maybe because Ned Lamont,
- 0:59Speaker 1: the governor was a business guy for many, many years.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So he goes pretty left woke sometimes, but sometimes he
- 1:05Speaker 1: goes very very common sense. But you got Blumenthal and
- 1:09Speaker 1: Chris Murphy, the two of the sleaziest, dirtiest public servants
- 1:14Speaker 1: ever lying How many times these guys Guy's been caught
- 1:17Speaker 1: lying about anything and everything. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 1:21Speaker 1: how you doing, good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 1:25Speaker 2: And before I make my point about the Democrats, can
- 1:27Speaker 2: you believe it's been forty five years since John Lennon
- 1:30Speaker 2: was killed?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Wow, forty five years.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Unbelievable. Forty five years. It's like mind boggling, isn't it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah, right in front of the Dakota seventy second and
- 1:41Speaker 1: Central Park West.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah, unbelievable. Like it's like surreal. Actually they think it's
- 1:48Speaker 2: been that long.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah, But you.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Were mentioning about the Democrats they have they're so clever.
- 1:53Speaker 2: You know, they have this quiver of issues that they
- 1:56Speaker 2: like to put an arrow out, take an arrow out,
- 1:58Speaker 2: and put it back in, you know. Being one of
- 2:01Speaker 2: them that you know, the the Narco stuff, you dou
- 2:04Speaker 2: disappear for a couple of weeks and then they'll bring
- 2:06Speaker 2: it back. Then they'll bring out you know Maxine Nice
- 2:09Speaker 2: Maxine Waters, you know, made her appearance. So they're starting
- 2:13Speaker 2: to bring out the big guns to start, you know,
- 2:16Speaker 2: hammering away. They're very clever at that.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't make the case of they're that clever
- 2:20Speaker 1: because none of these things ever go anywhere. I mean,
- 2:22Speaker 1: it gives them something to do at MSNBC, But they
- 2:25Speaker 1: never amount to anything. The Epstein thing went nowhere. The
- 2:28Speaker 1: Narco boats will go nowhere for them. None of them
- 2:30Speaker 1: work in the end.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Well, I just hope it doesn't have accumulative effect, you know,
- 2:34Speaker 2: on the voters. It's not us, but too many other
- 2:38Speaker 2: people seem to be able to buy into this stuff.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I know what you mean, but it's more
- 2:42Speaker 1: just red meat for the Trumps arrangement syndrome crowd. You
- 2:44Speaker 1: gotta throw them something every day. You know. They got
- 2:47Speaker 1: a signal gate. That was a big one for a
- 2:49Speaker 1: week or two. Signal gate, the using the signal. They
- 2:52Speaker 1: were all fired up about that. It was all over
- 2:54Speaker 1: CNN and MSNB. The normal people in the public home,
- 2:57Speaker 1: what the hell is signal gate? They're paying no attention
- 2:59Speaker 1: to it. Same thing with the narco boats. They like
- 3:02Speaker 1: seeing drug dealers blown up. They enjoy that. They think
- 3:05Speaker 1: that's good for America, getting rid of all the fetanyl
- 3:07Speaker 1: and cocaine and all. They like that. So it ends
- 3:10Speaker 1: up going nowhere in the end, you know, the Epstein
- 3:13Speaker 1: thing again, it just doesn't register. Most people don't care. Hey.
- 3:18Speaker 1: By the way, I've talked to everybody that's read the
- 3:21Speaker 1: Epstein files in detail, I mean, these are prosecutors in
- 3:25Speaker 1: the US Attorney's office. These are FBI guys. Alan Dershowitz
- 3:30Speaker 1: who was there, he was Epstein's lawyer, and they all
- 3:33Speaker 1: say the same thing. They all seem to agree on
- 3:35Speaker 1: one thing. There is nothing in these Epstein files that
- 3:39Speaker 1: would surprise anybody. In fact, there are no names in
- 3:42Speaker 1: their Every name you think it's going to be in
- 3:45Speaker 1: every name has already been public. There's a couple of
- 3:48Speaker 1: names that aren't, but they're like unknown business people. But
- 3:51Speaker 1: all the names have already been made public. There's nothing
- 3:54Speaker 1: in there. And when they say the Epstein files, it's
- 3:58Speaker 1: mostly from the US Attorney's office here in Manhattan, the
- 4:01Speaker 1: Southern District. And if you talk to people that have
- 4:04Speaker 1: seen that file what it is. It's just witness interviews.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That's ninety eight percent of the file is just witness interviews.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And there's not much in there. Let's go to Paul
- 4:13Speaker 1: in Whitestone. Paul, how you doing.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Mark, how are you doing good? You can't make
- 4:18Speaker 4: this up comment?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Wait, you got to stop nothing against you personally. Everybody
- 4:23Speaker 1: has got to stop using that expression. You can't make
- 4:26Speaker 1: this stuff up. You can make it up. It's offensive
- 4:29Speaker 1: to the great writers and novelists and screenwriters. You can
- 4:33Speaker 1: very easily make this kind of stuff up. In fact,
- 4:35Speaker 1: there are guys that do that all day long for
- 4:37Speaker 1: a living. So nothing against you, though.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Go ahead, all right.
- 4:41Speaker 4: A time is who wants to abolish prisons and police
- 4:45Speaker 4: is going to live in a mansion for quote, his
- 4:48Speaker 4: family's safety. I don't want to hear it. If the
- 4:50Speaker 4: police advise this, he should stand for his principles and say, no,
- 4:55Speaker 4: I'm going to stay in the story. I'm going to
- 4:57Speaker 4: not have police protection.
- 5:00Speaker 2: To do that.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Because he's like every other communist leader, and the young,
- 5:03Speaker 4: selfish idiots who voted to him because they want free
- 5:06Speaker 4: stuff are about to learn a harsh lesson.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah, well it happens. Who was it that said what
- 5:11Speaker 1: great columnists said? We have to go through this every
- 5:15Speaker 1: twenty years. We have to let him do their socialism experiment,
- 5:18Speaker 1: let it fail so the new generations can see how
- 5:21Speaker 1: bad it is. But again, nobody out there ever say again,
- 5:25Speaker 1: you can't make this stuff up. I remember sitting with
- 5:28Speaker 1: I A'll mentioned names a couple of great screenwriters, and
- 5:30Speaker 1: someone said, you can't make this up, and they got
- 5:32Speaker 1: very offended. They said you can. That's what we do
- 5:35Speaker 1: for a living. We can make up stuff even more
- 5:38Speaker 1: far fetched than this. It's easy to do. Hey, when
- 5:41Speaker 1: we come back. Michael Goodwin has been out of action
- 5:44Speaker 1: for a couple of weeks, but Liz Peake the brilliant columnists,
- 5:47Speaker 1: will be with us next on seven to ten wor
