- 1:37Speaker 2: any been a ball of Alert with us?
- 1:41Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:41Speaker 2: Radio, this element and then Alert. Yeah, yeah, this is
- 1:45Speaker 2: my first time.
- 1:46Speaker 6: We're a little more turned up on cussing over here. No,
- 1:50Speaker 6: we're not cussing because Andy has his daughter and she
- 1:54Speaker 6: is such a nice young lady, and yeah we're not
- 1:57Speaker 6: We're not gonna be cussing because I almost came in
- 1:59Speaker 6: here and just.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Drop the F bomb.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Get together, and I was like, oh, yeah, she's definitely
- 2:04Speaker 5: in the repeatables.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I was playing Madden one day and I'm online. I
- 2:09Speaker 2: through interception and I was like ship. She was like
- 2:11Speaker 2: ship Daddy, And I mean that's because she already said
- 2:15Speaker 2: that one. So on I watch my daughter said, ship,
- 2:18Speaker 2: don't say it jar, and uh, I was, I'm gonna
- 2:21Speaker 2: be honest. You know, we gotta start being honest in
- 2:23Speaker 2: the world.
- 2:24Speaker 5: I wanted to cuts. You get the cut.
- 2:26Speaker 2: My daddy had to say at first, y'all can say
- 2:28Speaker 2: that you don't even cuss. I don't in the game.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, I know, dam but yeah, you don't cuss
- 2:37Speaker 1: in the interviews though, right.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Money?
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well I got too off already the first
- 2:44Speaker 2: five minutes.
- 2:44Speaker 5: Yeah, you' supposed to wait five minutes.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And I'm bad. I ain't in the rules.
- 2:48Speaker 1: What's up, man? How's it going with the group? How
- 2:50Speaker 1: you how you doing? I know you got a record.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Shout out to Pleasure Pece, shout out to Bobby. You
- 2:55Speaker 2: know the group is beautiful. We got to show in
- 2:56Speaker 2: Detroit at the Aretha Franklin Theater on the Water and
- 3:00Speaker 2: Lot next month. I just dropped a record called AO
- 3:03Speaker 2: shot the video in Miami. You know that's whe I'm
- 3:05Speaker 2: from the CREB. That's going up for me. This is
- 3:09Speaker 2: the first record I dropped in on a while independently,
- 3:11Speaker 2: and it's like five six stations added it. You know
- 3:13Speaker 2: what I'm saying on its own. You know, I don't
- 3:15Speaker 2: do the radio stuff because that's a little expensive.
- 3:19Speaker 5: So I'm just grateful for may not know what you mean,
- 3:21Speaker 5: but I don't know what you're talking about. But no, no,
- 3:23Speaker 5: but you know what I'm saying.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Marketing, yeah, promotions, yeah, you know, it just cost the market.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So I'm just happy for the authenticity and the genuiness
- 3:33Speaker 2: of the record. You know what I'm saying, how it's
- 3:35Speaker 2: reacting to people. It's my first time like really popping
- 3:37Speaker 2: my my ish on the record. I always do the
- 3:39Speaker 2: love of boy stuff or the forgive me stuff or
- 3:41Speaker 2: to take me back stuff. I still grab air. I
- 3:44Speaker 2: still do videos in the snow in the rain, you
- 3:46Speaker 2: know what I mean. That's what the game is missing, right,
- 3:50Speaker 2: But I've been here, so it's not missing. You just
- 3:52Speaker 2: got to search for it. You know, it's hitting the
- 3:54Speaker 2: playing sight.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 3: So independent, How do you feel about that as far
- 4:01Speaker 3: as you being able to have kind of more creative
- 4:03Speaker 3: control and kind of make more decisions for yourself.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Beautifully, That's all I know. Ninety of my career I've
- 4:07Speaker 2: been independent. The only album ever in my discography was
- 4:11Speaker 2: From the Bottom to the Top, which was pushed by
- 4:13Speaker 2: Capitol Records in Free World Entertainment when I was twelve.
- 4:16Speaker 2: After that, I've been independent. I just had major success,
- 4:20Speaker 2: Like the name Sammy is major Poppy, created major hits,
- 4:24Speaker 2: been a part of major tours.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Kiss me through. You ever had a job when I
- 4:29Speaker 1: get hold?
- 4:29Speaker 2: I had a job one time for like two and
- 4:31Speaker 2: a half months. I worked for Universal Studios in Orlando.
- 4:35Speaker 1: How old were you?
- 4:35Speaker 2: I was like fifteen sixteen, fresh off of Hardball, gotcha?
- 4:39Speaker 2: And then my mom it was like my junior year
- 4:42Speaker 2: high school, going into my senior year, and my mom
- 4:44Speaker 2: was like, you need to get a job, and I'm like,
- 4:47Speaker 2: what what? You know what I'm saying. But I did
- 4:52Speaker 2: want to test it out because I didn't know if
- 4:54Speaker 2: I was returning back to music when I graduated high school. So, man,
- 4:58Speaker 2: I hated our uniforms. Bro you know what I'm saying.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It was like these colorful little tour chourse or red
- 5:03Speaker 2: studios for sure, boom splash, bam chain all like these
- 5:06Speaker 2: little graphics on. It took the shuttle to my little department,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and my job was to make you play the games,
- 5:12Speaker 2: like the little water gun games, the basketball games, or
- 5:15Speaker 2: you fish for a frog and pull it up.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Games hated it and you last for two months.
- 5:19Speaker 2: It was Yeah, I saw my check and I didn't
- 5:21Speaker 2: know nothing about like taxes. So like, let's say you
- 5:23Speaker 2: put in all these hours and your your check is
- 5:25Speaker 2: like three seventy five, right, let's just say, and then
- 5:28Speaker 2: they take one to fifty from it. I only pay
- 5:30Speaker 2: my at that time, no Kia bill and buy some Chucks.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And I was like, this, not it because I'm used
- 5:36Speaker 2: to getting five figures for a show.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Well, you know, that's that's that's life.
- 5:41Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, that's part of life.
- 5:43Speaker 1: We know all about taxes.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, I pay taxes, no, no, but it's
- 5:49Speaker 2: different when you can go get in advanced for one
- 5:50Speaker 2: hundred thousand, seventy thousand, fifty thous whatever, right, and then
- 5:53Speaker 2: you're working all this time and hours for a check
- 5:56Speaker 2: that just wasn't conducive to what I would I've been
- 5:59Speaker 2: explorting to. I was twelve thirteen fourteen. I watched my
- 6:01Speaker 2: mom move or from the hood to a nice crib
- 6:04Speaker 2: and four wheelers outside and goat carts, and I'm like, yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'd rather do that, And I'm on Jay Leno and
- 6:09Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel alive and chilling on sunset. You know what
- 6:12Speaker 2: I'm saying and shitting in class listening to some curriculum
- 6:16Speaker 2: that I'm never gonna use. I was already brainwashed, so
- 6:19Speaker 2: I knew I had to get back to the music grind.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you was like, man, I go, I gotta get Yeah.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I think.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I thank God for the experience because it balanced me
- 6:27Speaker 2: and gave me like a sense of humility and appreciation.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Because there are people that go to work every day
- 6:32Speaker 2: strictly to survive, right, and then there's people that live
- 6:36Speaker 2: every day. Me. I just live every day, and I'm
- 6:38Speaker 2: not rich in currency and rich in favor like I
- 6:41Speaker 2: get paid to sing. I would do that for free anyway, right,
- 6:45Speaker 2: I would tour and see the world for free. So
- 6:47Speaker 2: to get paid because God gave me a gift. It
- 6:50Speaker 2: always keeps me very, very humbled and just appreciateship that
- 6:53Speaker 2: He chose me, you know what I mean. But I
- 6:54Speaker 2: did work a job for a little bit, and then
- 6:57Speaker 2: I took the deuces.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Now, my brother, you're grown up. Now the grays are there.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I'm grown a man. You see me.
- 7:06Speaker 5: You're at an age where most people don't acknowledge the gray.
- 7:09Speaker 5: They die the gray. Ohude, you're not gonna.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Die purposely let the gray gray pepper poppy.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Okay, but it's like a patch of all gray.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Because it has to like I need more wisdom, you
- 7:22Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. So I'm just gonna keep learning
- 7:24Speaker 2: die gray. No, no, no, no, no no, I have to.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So if I cut this off, it goes right back
- 7:34Speaker 2: to the baby face. If I just keep this and this.
- 7:37Speaker 2: But then I was just like, man, in three days,
- 7:39Speaker 2: I have to shave anyway. So, like ray j B
- 7:42Speaker 2: trying to die his ship, he was like, oh, I
- 7:43Speaker 2: mean you can't do that. You gotta die.
- 7:45Speaker 5: I'm like that, I say most people.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but let me tell you, like you look crazy
- 7:51Speaker 2: when because we can see it, we can see the
- 7:53Speaker 2: spray paint.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Some people we can't see it.
- 7:55Speaker 5: No, some people do the not so crazy. That's the
- 7:59Speaker 5: paint that we see. Some people get the what's it called?
- 8:04Speaker 1: No, no, no, it's called what do we call it?
- 8:07Speaker 6: This?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Listen?
- 8:08Speaker 1: Listen, this is like ten degrees.
- 8:10Speaker 2: This is only this is only a month of not
- 8:12Speaker 2: cut my beer.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It's a spray.
- 8:13Speaker 2: What's the spray called? Beijing?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Beijing no, I'm not doing Carlos.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Sorry, Carlos.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Then you sweat, and you sweat, then you sweat and
- 8:21Speaker 2: it starts to the leak pause and I pause. I
- 8:24Speaker 2: don't want that. Like listen, I'm thirty nine. I'll be
- 8:27Speaker 2: forty March first. I'm blessed to see forty. I've lived
- 8:30Speaker 2: a beautiful life, but a straining It's like a stressful life,
- 8:32Speaker 2: a life that caused wisdom of life. My dad was
- 8:35Speaker 2: all salt before he passed away. I can't wait till
- 8:37Speaker 2: it just salt. But but but just spray painted, No,
- 8:43Speaker 2: get it over with. No, that's natural. Let it naturally.
- 8:47Speaker 2: It's like a garden. You know what I'm saying. You
- 8:49Speaker 2: water it?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you know he'll arm me niggas.
- 8:51Speaker 6: You know.
- 8:52Speaker 5: It's like the analogy is aft put a seed down.
- 8:59Speaker 2: They don't just turn to a tomato tree.
- 9:02Speaker 5: You have the water, rich soil.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You have to have sunshine, not too much, not too
- 9:06Speaker 2: much shadow. Just let it be beautiful, you know what
- 9:08Speaker 2: I'm saying. To embrace that thing. Father time is inevitable.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Why why would we fight that? We not embrace what
- 9:16Speaker 2: we can't control. Let them grays come in.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, because.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I don't want to Beijing no more.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I don't.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I'm just not the type of girl. I like to
- 9:30Speaker 3: you to been through some stuff and got a little
- 9:32Speaker 3: bit out through the whole way. You know, you're you're
- 9:34Speaker 3: surviving in a different way.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Yes, you don't want the Beijing to get on your clothes,
- 9:40Speaker 5: your furniture, pillows, your pillows, you hear me.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Don't know that.
- 9:45Speaker 5: And we was talking about it. We're still going viral
- 9:47Speaker 5: and talk about washing clothes.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Your beer starts to give some wisdom. You're gonna you're
- 9:54Speaker 2: gonna Beijing it.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I don't even want to think that far.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Like, I can't even get a beer, so I'm jealous.
- 9:59Speaker 1: It's all.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I got a month of just like letting it come.
- 10:02Speaker 2: And I was like, you know what, paulse I just
- 10:04Speaker 2: want my damn. That's wilds a month.
- 10:07Speaker 6: But you see how you know, But I heard the
- 10:09Speaker 6: transition come.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I heard the transition.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It was it was I got paused faster he did transition.
- 10:16Speaker 5: He got the transition quick ahead.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Will you you're in a group with Ray J. Pleasure,
- 10:24Speaker 1: p Bobby V. Who's the worst to.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Work with from a creative standpoint, from any standpoint? Oh well,
- 10:33Speaker 2: I mean the biggest headache in the group is an
- 10:35Speaker 2: obvious that's ray J because he lives in his own dimension.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I thought she's gonna say Bobby V No.
- 10:41Speaker 2: No, Bob is just happy to be here. Honestly, Bob
- 10:43Speaker 2: is one of the least problematic UH personalities in the group.
- 10:49Speaker 2: We can't get him to wear what we want to wear.
- 10:51Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying, Like, Okay, now he'll go, right,
- 10:54Speaker 6: Bobby gonna go We're all.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Black with pink. You know what I'm saying. For real,
- 11:00Speaker 2: you know, he got in a big ass argument on
- 11:03Speaker 2: the Millennium tour because of that, Like we had these
- 11:05Speaker 2: R S v P Letterman jackets right that he got
- 11:08Speaker 2: for us. Bob came out total, total opposite, and he
- 11:15Speaker 2: got so upset. He got so upset he threw his
- 11:17Speaker 2: letterman jacket in the crowd. We just got him, and
- 11:21Speaker 2: then ray J copied him threw it out. And now
- 11:23Speaker 2: now it was like, do I be a soloist or
- 11:25Speaker 2: do I be a group member? Because do I throw mine?
- 11:27Speaker 2: So I'm looking at you know, Bob, like, Bob a
- 11:30Speaker 2: sure fault that we're even doing this. So I had
- 11:31Speaker 2: to throw mine out. I still want mine back and
- 11:33Speaker 2: if there's a fan watching this that has it, there
- 11:36Speaker 2: was some nice jackets.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You're not getting that Jackie back.
- 11:39Speaker 5: No, No, I was so pissed.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I was from a from a from a style listic standpoint,
- 11:44Speaker 2: Bob from Uh, he may show or may not show
- 11:48Speaker 2: ray J. And then he what like may show at
- 11:52Speaker 2: the show, like may show up at the show, or
- 11:54Speaker 2: may show up at the studio session ray J. We
- 11:56Speaker 2: don't know because ray J is a wild card.
- 11:59Speaker 5: So he might not come to the performance.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Sometimes he missed the whole show on the Litum tour
- 12:04Speaker 2: and then he made it late and then did one
- 12:06Speaker 2: wish on trade songs. Uh set, but I had to
- 12:09Speaker 2: do his parts for the RGP.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Is that when he had to get the jet to get.
- 12:12Speaker 2: He had the pilot outfit. Yeah, he missed the whole
- 12:15Speaker 2: RGP set. Correct. He was still in Miami at the casino, hungover,
- 12:20Speaker 2: having a good time.
- 12:21Speaker 6: What the you know who ray J reminds me of
- 12:24Speaker 6: if y'all was the Chicago Bulls been Dennis Rock.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Correct, there we go.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Damn you're giving him that?
- 12:29Speaker 2: That was that was a great analogy to a degree.
- 12:32Speaker 6: When I saw a degree that they were on a
- 12:34Speaker 6: national tour and ray J missed one of the dates
- 12:38Speaker 6: and he had to get on a jet ye.
- 12:40Speaker 2: To go show outfit, missed the show, and then he
- 12:43Speaker 2: just performed one wish on trade. Somebody else said trade set. Absolutely, yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 2: ray J is the wildcard because you really just you
- 12:50Speaker 2: just don't know. I mean, one day he's streaming, next
- 12:53Speaker 2: day he's boxing, next day he's a singer. Next day.
- 12:56Speaker 1: He needs to stop boxing.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Absolutely. I think he does not need to do that.
- 13:00Speaker 5: I think he knows that.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Now he doesn't. He has a fight on, he has
- 13:03Speaker 2: a fight coming up.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I think after this fight he should know.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So let me so, let me ask you. This ship
- 13:07Speaker 1: was bad, so it was real. So we're we're going
- 13:10Speaker 1: to the boxing match.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I'm going to I'm walking him out.
- 13:13Speaker 6: So let me ask you this, Should we do that interview?
- 13:16Speaker 6: So because I want to, I want to do interview.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You're should we do the interview before after the fight?
- 13:21Speaker 5: Stop? You're enabling, You're enabling.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Tried to stop him for I remember I said we can't.
- 13:27Speaker 5: We Hey, you gotta come on the show.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Bro. We got to stop from while I'm out last night, right,
- 13:32Speaker 2: you can stop him, you can stop right from fighting.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I saw ray fresh after your band. I heard you,
- 13:39Speaker 2: you you.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You gotta chill out to come ladies of R and
- 13:42Speaker 1: B on Wednesday.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't stop growing men who has their own
- 13:47Speaker 2: to do what they want to.
- 13:48Speaker 5: But you're walking him out now.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I gotta support him after after I say, don't go.
- 13:52Speaker 5: It's no, he's not.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Absolutely, it's not a good idea.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Call him right now, see where you are.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Let's see where he at if if if he's not
- 14:02Speaker 6: in the gym, just hanging the phone.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Up, he's not gonna answer. He's probably drinking some right now.
- 14:07Speaker 6: He probably on stream that you remember he was on stream.
- 14:10Speaker 6: He was trying to get all of us to donate
- 14:11Speaker 6: to a rich person, Like why.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Would I donate to somebody rich?
- 14:15Speaker 6: He's like, yeah, y'all in there, everybody in the chat,
- 14:19Speaker 6: y'all donate to changed his number.
- 14:21Speaker 2: In the chat. Remember Whack was telling us he might
- 14:23Speaker 2: have changed his number. I don't even have the new one,
- 14:25Speaker 2: which is crazy because I'm his whole brother and I
- 14:28Speaker 2: support him.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Yeall in the group and you and so actively putting
- 14:32Speaker 6: that music so so we can we can attest ray
- 14:34Speaker 6: j Anser fun.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I mean he's not in the gym.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah, he's not in the gym right now. He is
- 14:40Speaker 2: his four forty two hour time street hour was back
- 14:42Speaker 2: in La or if he's in Miami, he's still sleep.
- 14:44Speaker 1: From No, I don't don't, don't, don't worry about it.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Don't don't don't.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah, getting a hold of that's see what I'm saying.
- 14:50Speaker 2: So you can't. We don't know where Ray's at.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And raygees pops in the group chat. Then he disappears and.
- 14:56Speaker 2: He himself out. He's very emotional, irrationally. Yeah, that's my brother.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I love him from a creative standpoint.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Was the worst pleasure, pele pleasure because because his pleasure
- 15:07Speaker 2: p is like, I don't want to come to the
- 15:10Speaker 2: studio because Ray J not gonna be focused, and I
- 15:12Speaker 2: don't want to come to the studio. I'm at Magic City.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Come get these wings and look at some ass. I
- 15:16Speaker 2: don't want to come to the studio. I'm at keep
- 15:17Speaker 2: Sweat House. I don't want to come to the studio.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Your niggas come to my house and we record and
- 15:21Speaker 2: I write all the songs and do all the vocals,
- 15:22Speaker 2: and y'all just follow me. I'm pretty riggae.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Yeah, boy, I pray for you, boy, they added to the.
- 15:32Speaker 3: So what do you feel like like dealing with that
- 15:34Speaker 3: type of element and being serious about your craft and
- 15:39Speaker 3: kind of like where you're.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Developing solo song?
- 15:42Speaker 3: How do you navigate that?
- 15:44Speaker 2: Easy? Okay?
- 15:45Speaker 3: So when I first went to the group, how do
- 15:47Speaker 3: you not crush out?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Noah? When I first came into the group, I cared
- 15:52Speaker 2: too much. I was the first one in the lobby
- 15:55Speaker 2: with lobby called. It was the first one that booked
- 15:57Speaker 2: my flights for this show, and the first one like, hey.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Let's you're a professional, correct? Got it?
- 16:02Speaker 2: R s V P unlearned all of that, okay, and
- 16:07Speaker 2: don't give two ships right? No, seriously, we're beautifully chaotic,
- 16:12Speaker 2: and once I adapted the chaos, I just live in
- 16:15Speaker 2: my big sam energy, which is like I'm gonna come
- 16:18Speaker 2: downstairs when I know ray J has landed in the
- 16:20Speaker 2: same city.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Copy Arby rock Stars.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Absolutely bro when we do studio session, But you're the professional. Yeah,
- 16:27Speaker 2: But I have to like fall back on caring so
- 16:29Speaker 2: much because it is fun and I love them with
- 16:31Speaker 2: all brothers. But you don't, don't. Don't. If the studio
- 16:34Speaker 2: session starts at eight, it's fair to show up at
- 16:36Speaker 2: like twelve, midnight damn, because you have four single solo
- 16:41Speaker 2: artists that do what they want to do. So I
- 16:43Speaker 2: know pleasures not.
- 16:44Speaker 5: And this is a Bobby still on the radio.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Hobby gotgio. No no, no, no talking about like solo.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Oh he's married. Don't try to make me make him
- 16:56Speaker 2: and Princess fight. No, No, I thought I we single
- 16:59Speaker 2: like so lo we have we have our own things.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Like Bobby v. He just wants to play tennis basketball league,
- 17:06Speaker 2: get on with the girls and do radio. Me. I
- 17:09Speaker 2: have kids, so I just want to be with my children.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I have nine plants. I got two Frenchies and they
- 17:15Speaker 2: all have names. So I just like, I'm real, like
- 17:17Speaker 2: nurturing my crib is my sanctuary. I'm in the house.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'm a Rocks March first water.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I love.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Emotionally.
- 17:28Speaker 3: He goes with the flow. That's what makes them good
- 17:29Speaker 3: in that environment.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 17:30Speaker 5: So now I know how to say the query said
- 17:32Speaker 5: the same.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Thing about yes, about cancer.
- 17:38Speaker 2: You know, January February, my brother seven. So I just
- 17:46Speaker 2: be flowing. So I learned to just not care so
- 17:48Speaker 2: much and take my emotions out of it and just
- 17:51Speaker 2: be like, bro, if we make the show, we make
- 17:53Speaker 2: the show because I like structure. To say, the solo
- 17:57Speaker 2: artist is structured. But RSV Saming, it's like whatever.
- 18:01Speaker 5: I do have to ask you a question, and you
- 18:03Speaker 5: my brother, so I feel like I can ask you this.
- 18:06Speaker 5: I've known you for a very long time, yes, sir,
- 18:08Speaker 5: and I've always only seen you happy, Yes, sir. And
- 18:11Speaker 5: not to get into detail, because I'm not trying to
- 18:14Speaker 5: be messy or but I did see things on social
- 18:18Speaker 5: media of Sammy not being happy that bothered me. Sure
- 18:22Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, and I really wanted to
- 18:24Speaker 5: reach out, but I was like, let me. I wanted
- 18:26Speaker 5: to give you some space. So we're also going to
- 18:27Speaker 5: talk off camera, but on camera, I wanted to ask you,
- 18:31Speaker 5: how did you navigate through the unhappiness.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Of what was going on in my life?
- 18:37Speaker 5: Because you know, we have people who know us personally,
- 18:40Speaker 5: but we have thousands and you hundreds of thousands of
- 18:44Speaker 5: people that don't know you personally that I think they
- 18:47Speaker 5: know you personally correct, and when they see you in
- 18:50Speaker 5: an unhappy space and things are.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Happening, it's reform. How did you navigate through that exact word? God,
- 19:00Speaker 2: okay words. I saw it and I was just like,
- 19:03Speaker 2: so I'm human, right, I'm not perfect. I'm imperfect. I'm flawed,
- 19:08Speaker 2: I will say for the last four years. So my
- 19:11Speaker 2: uh spiral, let's call it, that started in twenty twenty two.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And I talk about anything y'all want to talk about
- 19:17Speaker 2: because it's public information first and foremost. Also, God put
- 19:21Speaker 2: me through it so I could be a testimony.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:23Speaker 2: So I had my mother psychiatrically going through I don't
- 19:27Speaker 2: even know that's a word, but she going through something
- 19:31Speaker 2: that was yeah, something seemed the behavior changing. And then
- 19:34Speaker 2: I went through therapy for it, and I was like, yo,
- 19:38Speaker 2: I don't want anything to happen to my mother or
- 19:40Speaker 2: to anyone else. January twenty twenty three worst call in
- 19:45Speaker 2: my life, your dad, twenty twenty three My mother's case's case.
- 19:50Speaker 2: This is where everything started starting for me. At the
- 19:53Speaker 2: same time the world did not know this. I had
- 19:56Speaker 2: my pregnancy scare happening.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Ever was a dad.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I wanted to be a father. I wanted to be
- 20:02Speaker 2: a dad. I love being a Father's the second greatest
- 20:04Speaker 2: thing I'm great at. I'm great at loving God, and
- 20:06Speaker 2: I'm great at loving my children, and then I'm great
- 20:09Speaker 2: at music. Those are the top three things. I can't
- 20:11Speaker 2: fail at I'm always give you godliness, I'm always be
- 20:14Speaker 2: an awesome father and dad, and I'm always be a
- 20:17Speaker 2: great artist. I can't lose at those three things. But
- 20:20Speaker 2: I wasn't ready for fatherhood. I wasn't ready, nor did
- 20:23Speaker 2: I understand what my mother was going through. My father's
- 20:26Speaker 2: health started to deteriorate after COVID. He had a kidney
- 20:30Speaker 2: transplant eighteen years prior it lasted him. COVID hits the
- 20:35Speaker 2: kitten shuts down. Now he has congestive heart failure, early
- 20:39Speaker 2: vashlar dementia, gout throughout his body. He's on dialysis and
- 20:44Speaker 2: all that's very painful, by the way, And I'm on
- 20:48Speaker 2: a millennium tour like rocking fifteen twenty thousand people. Money's flowing, baby,
- 20:54Speaker 2: Mama's surfacing. All kinds of things are just happening, and
- 20:57Speaker 2: I wasn't living my best way. I'm drinking through it,
- 21:00Speaker 2: I'm sexing through it. I'm not going to God right.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'm experiencing suicidal thoughts for the first time because I
- 21:08Speaker 2: don't understand, like, why is my dad dying slowly? Why
- 21:11Speaker 2: and how did my mom get into this? I wasn't
- 21:14Speaker 2: ready for kids. Underneath the stress. There was a lot
- 21:18Speaker 2: of shit at one.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Time, and it's all on social media.
- 21:21Speaker 2: So it starts to like, now I'm in blogs for
- 21:24Speaker 2: the first time in a negative light. I spent all
- 21:27Speaker 2: my career being blameless. You've never seen Sammy and never
- 21:30Speaker 2: I don't wild out, I don't crash out, no fighting private.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I'm very private. I handle all my hell in private
- 21:36Speaker 2: because I live in reality, not in Instagram, social media,
- 21:39Speaker 2: TikTok all that like, I'm not that guy. That's why
- 21:42Speaker 2: I live far away. I don't want to be in
- 21:45Speaker 2: the mix. I'm a rock star on the weekends. It
- 21:47Speaker 2: will get my bag and take care of my babies.
- 21:49Speaker 2: After that. You don't see Sammy, right, So this is
- 21:51Speaker 2: my first time seeing negative comments, people blaming me for
- 21:55Speaker 2: what someone else did or what someone else said. And
- 21:58Speaker 2: I didn't know that that could happen to me. I'm like, what,
- 22:03Speaker 2: I'm the guy that's talking about God all the time.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I'm the guy that hugged trees and grounds and meditates
- 22:07Speaker 2: and goes to journal in. I'm an advocate of therapist.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Like it took me returning to God though, getting back
- 22:16Speaker 2: to church, believing and having the faith the size of
- 22:19Speaker 2: a mustle seed that like, it might not have been
- 22:22Speaker 2: how I planned it, but you can still get up
- 22:24Speaker 2: with your head hot for sure.
- 22:26Speaker 3: And then that moment, because you know, it's always that moment.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It was it was, it was, it's two things. Now
- 22:33Speaker 2: it was my mother's case because that they didn't say
- 22:37Speaker 2: her name, they said national recording artist Sammy's everywhere You're
- 22:44Speaker 2: in the crib bro For like three months, I canceled
- 22:46Speaker 2: every show and everything.
- 22:46Speaker 5: I got it.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I started wearing the COVID masks to go outside again,
- 22:49Speaker 2: and we three years remove from COVID. My first time
- 22:52Speaker 2: stepping out was going to Chipotle with my girlfriend at
- 22:55Speaker 2: the time, and I was like nervous to leave the
- 22:56Speaker 2: house because I didn't want to be recognized, and merged
- 23:04Speaker 2: to that, and I remember the first time I took
- 23:06Speaker 2: my mask off and I'm walking I think to like home,
- 23:09Speaker 2: deep hot, getting something in the crib and somebody's like
- 23:10Speaker 2: seeing me, and I'm like, oh god, they're about to
- 23:13Speaker 2: bring that up. And it really wasn't that. It was
- 23:15Speaker 2: like happy to see you holding your head. Can I
- 23:17Speaker 2: have to get a picture? And I was like and
- 23:19Speaker 2: one day at a time, one breath at a time,
- 23:22Speaker 2: I just was like, listen, man, you know alright, I'm
- 23:27Speaker 2: gonna be alright. And I have no choice because now
- 23:29Speaker 2: my mom needs me at that time, my father's living,
- 23:33Speaker 2: my father needs me, my siblings need me. Journey's coming.
- 23:36Speaker 2: My daughter, she saved me, gave me purpose. You feel
- 23:41Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And all I can say is one
- 23:44Speaker 2: step at a time, one breath at a time. I
- 23:46Speaker 2: got strong as hell. Strong, ain't nothing. I know you
- 23:49Speaker 2: wanted to cut somebody out when it was first happening.
- 23:53Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. You want yeah, but then
- 23:56Speaker 2: I'm the crash out. Now I'm the bug out. So
- 23:58Speaker 2: it's not about what happens to you. It's about right
- 24:05Speaker 2: And I just had to hold it in. And I
- 24:07Speaker 2: always had God through prayer as my outlet, and then
- 24:10Speaker 2: I have music. Then I'm the one with the microphone
- 24:13Speaker 2: right now. If I wanted to just shit on anybody,
- 24:15Speaker 2: I could do it right now. But that's not my
- 24:17Speaker 2: spirit because because there's an idiot when they say hurt
- 24:23Speaker 2: people hurt people. When I believe there's an idiom where
- 24:25Speaker 2: it hurt people can heal people. I'm different.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Bro.
- 24:29Speaker 2: When I die, everybody's gonna start watching my interviews one
- 24:32Speaker 2: day and they gonna follow the bread crumbs that he
- 24:34Speaker 2: was always godly. He wasn't perfect, but he was always righteous.
- 24:37Speaker 2: He wasn't perfect, but he was always he took accountability.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I'm really him, you know what I'm saying. Outside of music,
- 24:42Speaker 2: outside of fame, outside of fortune, I'm a world changer,
- 24:46Speaker 2: and I'm raising my kids to be way bigger and
- 24:48Speaker 2: way better and way more divine than I am. Like
- 24:52Speaker 2: you know how everybody like Nipsey Hustle died and I'm
- 24:55Speaker 2: not Nipsey, by the way, I'm just saying Nipsey Hustle died,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and everyone I've been paying attention to Nipsey when he
- 24:59Speaker 2: was alive, when he's been telling us the books to
- 25:01Speaker 2: read and how he got where he was and how
- 25:04Speaker 2: he became the king that he was. I'm just here
- 25:07Speaker 2: to spread some love, bro, you know what I'm saying.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And things happen, but you can stand up and there's
- 25:12Speaker 2: more and better on the other side. So my mom's
- 25:14Speaker 2: situation grew me up, and my dad's demise gave me rebirth.
- 25:20Speaker 2: You heard what I said, I was born again when
- 25:22Speaker 2: he passed. That was the closest death I've ever had
- 25:24Speaker 2: I seen my uncle's past, cousin's homies, all that, But
- 25:27Speaker 2: my dad, I carry his name, died in my house.
- 25:30Speaker 5: You know, Steve Harvey has always been trending about You know,
- 25:34Speaker 5: I ain't trying to get too emotional about it, but
- 25:36Speaker 5: you know he said, you know, your father is the
- 25:39Speaker 5: one man that wants you to be better than him.
- 25:42Speaker 5: Every time I ask look at you and be like,
- 25:43Speaker 5: I love you dog.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Every time I told you, yes, certain, but I.
- 25:46Speaker 6: Don't want you to be better than me. But your
- 25:49Speaker 6: father wants me to be better than him.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I'd say ninety nine percent of the time, my.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Son and mind, I want you to be better than me.
- 25:56Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I want you to be
- 25:58Speaker 2: better than me too, brother, and we all gonna be better.
- 26:01Speaker 2: That's what it's about. So my mom's situation and my
- 26:05Speaker 2: dad's death, it made me get on my knees and
- 26:09Speaker 2: look up to God. And then I surrendered. I'm not
- 26:12Speaker 2: bigger than nobody. I'm not bigger in the program. God's
- 26:16Speaker 2: topoch her. You feel what I'm saying. He can take
- 26:18Speaker 2: this away right now, where no one cares to listen
- 26:21Speaker 2: to my song or come to my shows or listen
- 26:23Speaker 2: to me speak, and once you see death and you
- 26:26Speaker 2: touch death, and my like he died in my house.
- 26:30Speaker 2: So you gotta understand every time I go downstairs, his
- 26:32Speaker 2: room is empty. He does not open that door and
- 26:36Speaker 2: go to the bathroom. And I wear his slides every
- 26:39Speaker 2: day in my crib, the slide he left behind. You
- 26:41Speaker 2: feel what I'm saying, just to have a to feel
- 26:44Speaker 2: close to him?
- 26:45Speaker 5: Are you okay?
- 26:46Speaker 2: I'm great? And I mean that with the utmost because
- 26:48Speaker 2: if I wasn't, I'm man enough now and humble enough
- 26:51Speaker 2: to now now to lean on my community and my family.
- 26:55Speaker 2: That's another thing we as black man, we don't do.
- 26:56Speaker 2: We would talk to not cry. We would talk to
- 26:58Speaker 2: be strong. You don't got to show to everything. You
- 27:03Speaker 2: feel what I'm saying, like, are you okay? Are you okay?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Black queen? Are you okay? And it's okay to not
- 27:08Speaker 2: be me. I'm okay because I've literally overcame everything that
- 27:14Speaker 2: was thrown my way and meant from the devil to
- 27:16Speaker 2: kill me. And God was like you can't touch that.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Boy.
- 27:20Speaker 2: It's like the Book of Job, you know what I'm
- 27:21Speaker 2: saying in the Bible, like you can lose your riches
- 27:23Speaker 2: you can lose your land, but you can't take his
- 27:25Speaker 2: life as long as I have life.
- 27:28Speaker 3: You know, some orchestrations are God too, you know. Sometimes
- 27:31Speaker 3: He put things in your path and you'll experience lost
- 27:34Speaker 3: your experience, you know, situations and seasons of your life
- 27:37Speaker 3: where you don't feel like you're at most everything. It
- 27:39Speaker 3: is not saying taking anything away from the devil, but
- 27:42Speaker 3: sometimes it's God. And sometimes that's God calling back to that,
- 27:45Speaker 3: you know. And that's what I had to learn, even
- 27:47Speaker 3: and losing my brother is like sometimes those situations and
- 27:49Speaker 3: seasons is the way that you navigate them. So I'm
- 27:52Speaker 3: proud of you and even you being able to articulate.
- 27:56Speaker 3: I'm very, very into black being in therapy. I think
- 27:59Speaker 3: it's a very big thing, and so even being able
- 28:01Speaker 3: to articulate like I experienced all these seasons a loss.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I didn't handle it the right way in the beginning,
- 28:06Speaker 3: but it's really not like a right or wrong way.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I think it's all part of the process of grief.
- 28:10Speaker 3: And my pops had to break that down to me
- 28:11Speaker 3: as I was getting over things with my brother, because
- 28:14Speaker 3: it never really goes away, No, we just learned how
- 28:16Speaker 3: to navigate it differently. And a lot of it is
- 28:18Speaker 3: your thinking. So way did you think about it?
- 28:20Speaker 5: You know?
- 28:20Speaker 3: So it's not like, Okay, my dad's not in this
- 28:22Speaker 3: room and he's not walking here. It's now I get
- 28:24Speaker 3: to wear his slides.
- 28:26Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I'm finishing the walk. You know you're gonna pass it
- 28:30Speaker 3: on to your kids from there.
- 28:30Speaker 2: There's a book called Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren,
- 28:33Speaker 2: and it says thoughts become things. Things provoke action, for sure.
- 28:36Speaker 2: So I'm very mindful on what I think. Now you
- 28:40Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, be like, if you think it,
- 28:42Speaker 2: then it's gonna lead to an act, it will become reality.
- 28:46Speaker 2: So I don't know, man, I just did the work,
- 28:49Speaker 2: and like you said, I have my days. It shows though,
- 28:52Speaker 2: But I did the work though, Like I miss Jane
- 28:54Speaker 2: is my therapist. God is my God. I got, like
- 28:57Speaker 2: I'll say, seven beautiful human beings I know convent to
- 29:01Speaker 2: and they're not gonna judge me. I don't have to
- 29:03Speaker 2: keep it a secret. I don't have to be perfect. Bro,
- 29:05Speaker 2: Trying to be a perfect celebrity or public figure would
- 29:08Speaker 2: drive you.
- 29:09Speaker 5: But you know, people, the people outside of our i'd
- 29:13Speaker 5: say nest they want you to crash out.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely won't.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Look how much press you got negative ship that was.
- 29:24Speaker 5: That was so I was like, wow, this is like spreading.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I can pray online, I can give to all. That's
- 29:35Speaker 2: if I troll and say I beat up ray j
- 29:37Speaker 2: everywhere for two weeks, or if my baby mamas just
- 29:41Speaker 2: crashing out and they're saying, woo whoop, I go to
- 29:43Speaker 2: jail for sixteen hours, that's everywhere. And I realized that too.
- 29:47Speaker 2: That's what made me not give us.
- 29:48Speaker 5: But you do. But but you're doing the work. Not
- 29:50Speaker 5: the interrupted apologize, but you doing the work and overcoming
- 29:54Speaker 5: and holding yourself accountable for your moments.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yeah, for my mistake that's.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Not getting broadcast.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's almost like it didn't it did not happen, And
- 30:03Speaker 2: they don't leave it. They don't. They don't want that.
- 30:05Speaker 5: They don't problem with the online. It's online. Sometimes they
- 30:10Speaker 5: is us though.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Because accountability to ourselves is we're the consumers, so we
- 30:16Speaker 3: push the content. So it's what we interact with. It's
- 30:19Speaker 3: what we choose to interact with. So that speaks more
- 30:21Speaker 3: so to the mindset of the people who are watching.
- 30:23Speaker 3: We don't waller if we come on here and we
- 30:25Speaker 3: could say the most profound thing he's been talking about, guy,
- 30:28Speaker 3: he's been talking about his healing. The clip that's gonna
- 30:30Speaker 3: go viral is him talking about pleasure. P ray J.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Always always tell people like, nowadays, we live in a
- 30:39Speaker 6: world where people have the attention span of a three
- 30:41Speaker 6: year old and you and you have to feed them
- 30:44Speaker 6: content like that. So you can say, hey, this is
- 30:48Speaker 6: a viral clip, go watch the full interview to get
- 30:51Speaker 6: the real experience. Because people will see certain clips and
- 30:54Speaker 6: they take that and they'll take that and run with it,
- 30:56Speaker 6: and then some people will be scared to come on
- 30:57Speaker 6: the show because they be like, oh, I've seen this
- 30:59Speaker 6: and I've seen I'm like, I can tell you don't
- 31:01Speaker 6: even watch the full interview.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Yeah, some people don't even watch the full clip. People
- 31:04Speaker 1: watch seconds and be like, oh my god.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Just see the caption clip and see the context what
- 31:12Speaker 2: you said. You feel what I'm saying, So me, Bro,
- 31:14Speaker 2: I mean, I think God for giving me the heart
- 31:17Speaker 2: and the spirit and soul that he did. It doesn't matter, Bro,
- 31:21Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. And I also am a
- 31:23Speaker 2: young og in the game. I think Drake said this
- 31:27Speaker 2: and I adopted it many years ago, like an interview
- 31:29Speaker 2: he was in It's called a seventy two hour rule.
- 31:31Speaker 2: And then just follow me on this, y'all talk about
- 31:34Speaker 2: it today. It's a big news. Sammy did such and
- 31:37Speaker 2: such bad blah blah blah blah blah. The second day
- 31:41Speaker 2: doesn't sting as bad. The third day something else has
- 31:45Speaker 2: happened with another public figure and they're no longer thinking
- 31:48Speaker 2: about my mishaps and my misfortunes. And I live in
- 31:51Speaker 2: that vibration too, because I've experienced it, you know what
- 31:54Speaker 2: I'm saying. And then you think it's gonna affect you,
- 31:56Speaker 2: and then you go to the shows and it's fucking
- 31:57Speaker 2: sold out and lit, and it's like, oh, I'm not canceled.
- 32:02Speaker 2: People are just doing things for likes and comments and.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Follow People love that word canceled, Like, yeah.
- 32:07Speaker 2: There's no such thing. I Only God can cancel me,
- 32:10Speaker 2: my brother. Ain't no man walking this earth, no woman,
- 32:14Speaker 2: no platform that can stop me. You know what I'm saying,
- 32:19Speaker 2: God can You're not God? And people have these positions
- 32:25Speaker 2: and they think they're God. Are you dumb? He created you,
- 32:30Speaker 2: he blessed you. He might have put you in position
- 32:32Speaker 2: to maybe derail or detoor me. But as long as
- 32:35Speaker 2: I don't stop, you can't stop me. As long as
- 32:38Speaker 2: I keep singing, you can't stop me. As long as
- 32:40Speaker 2: I keep giving faith and glory to God, and you
- 32:43Speaker 2: can't stop me. As long as I keep doing more
- 32:45Speaker 2: good than bad, you can't stop me. So that's how
- 32:47Speaker 2: I got over. Bro.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I do.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I do the work. I go to the gym. I
- 32:51Speaker 2: forgive people who don't even be sorry forgive. Forgiveness is
- 32:57Speaker 2: not for the person that offended you. It's for you
- 32:58Speaker 2: to be able to receive the next. Nothing. I'm a
- 33:02Speaker 2: prisoner of your wrongdoings, and I'm a prisoner of my past.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I'm really like, you know what I'm saying that that's
- 33:09Speaker 2: true too.
- 33:09Speaker 6: Hey, you can tell you since because anytime we've been
- 33:12Speaker 6: in a group chat saying some saying some crazy stuff,
- 33:15Speaker 6: if somebody did something to say.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Be like, it's all good, brother, the trees love you.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I'm like, what is this nigga talking about?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Just finished medicine?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Sammy talking about.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I text the whole group chat. We're in a bad chat.
- 33:29Speaker 2: It's it's a lot of us in there, so it's
- 33:31Speaker 2: a little of a chat. Yeah, So I try to
- 33:33Speaker 2: throw in some some light. So I sent the some
- 33:36Speaker 2: some some church notes.
- 33:37Speaker 5: Well, you know, sometimes you haven't do that to him
- 33:39Speaker 5: because he's still wint in a little bit. He's coming
- 33:42Speaker 5: out of the wining.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he's merging.
- 33:44Speaker 5: He like literally yesterday he damn there crashed out dropping
- 33:48Speaker 5: f bond.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Okay, I'll just have just have a bad mouth to
- 33:53Speaker 1: have a partty mouth.
- 33:54Speaker 5: But I'll be having the common down, like bring it back.
- 33:56Speaker 2: It's because it's it's God and everything. That's just just
- 33:59Speaker 2: you just have to sit down and be still in
- 34:01Speaker 2: sending yourself and be like you know what, Yeah you
- 34:04Speaker 2: got an offender bender, but you're allowed to tell us
- 34:06Speaker 2: about it and you're insured, and like, you know, I'm
- 34:09Speaker 2: that I gotta find out how to man.
- 34:11Speaker 1: If you do get into a w rec make sure
- 34:13Speaker 1: you call Danny Nagle.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Come on now, four.
- 34:20Speaker 5: Listen man.
- 34:22Speaker 2: New song outoyo, I actually saw. I released three songs
- 34:25Speaker 2: since December. I'm gonna just because I love the slow
- 34:28Speaker 2: burn of my grind. So I did this record called
- 34:31Speaker 2: Old Alan because I'm gonna say why I'm explaining this
- 34:34Speaker 2: AO is like why aren't driven? Because I'm talking my
- 34:40Speaker 2: ship I'm big saying, right, and then put some tune on.
- 34:43Speaker 2: But then you see comments like you're too talented to
- 34:46Speaker 2: sing with Well, go listen to Old Alan, Go listen
- 34:49Speaker 2: to It's just Me an acoustic guitar you gave your fans.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Listen to the song I dedicated to my father when
- 34:55Speaker 2: he passed, called Dear Dad, and watch that visual and
- 34:58Speaker 2: then listen to me pop my ship. Don't put me
- 35:01Speaker 2: in a box. I'm not able to be boxed in.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I'm well diversed and multi talented and a variation of ways.
- 35:09Speaker 2: So yeah, AO is out right now. The videos on YouTube,
- 35:13Speaker 2: Dear Dad videos out as well as Old Alone. The
- 35:18Speaker 2: album The Journey, named after my daughter who's just trying
- 35:22Speaker 2: to get You'll tell me, don't hurt that bad.
- 35:24Speaker 5: We're almost done, Journey.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I love you, Okay, yeah, I know right. Her birthday
- 35:33Speaker 2: is on November six, which is a Friday, so okay,
- 35:36Speaker 2: now after little birthday. Okay, now I'm going shout out
- 35:39Speaker 2: to Riot little Man. I'm going for that for the
- 35:41Speaker 2: release date. And then uh yeah, R s v P.
- 35:44Speaker 2: We working, you know, we're doing shows. You working and
- 35:47Speaker 2: I'm working, working. I can't stop, won't stop, you know
- 35:49Speaker 2: what I'm saying, no Diddy booked up. Yeah, yeah, I've been.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I've been. I've been a blessing bro. No, no, it's listen.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I remember it's horrible. I used to have to like
- 35:58Speaker 2: tweet my book and email out every day. You know
- 36:01Speaker 2: what I'm saying. I actually I want to do something
- 36:04Speaker 2: better too, And I owe this to like my Instagram following.
- 36:07Speaker 2: I used to like talk about the progress and the struggle,
- 36:10Speaker 2: but I've been like up for the last ten years
- 36:13Speaker 2: since the Shape Room posted me singing I'm him slowly
- 36:16Speaker 2: but surely. You know what I'm saying. And I need
- 36:19Speaker 2: to let them know that to keep going, like I
- 36:23Speaker 2: really have toured on three millennium tours Vibes On Vibes
- 36:27Speaker 2: Tour with Aaron Bellinger, my own tour, Everlasting, Savage True
- 36:30Speaker 2: with Tank all that happened off a viral video. So
- 36:33Speaker 2: from twenty sixteen to twenty twenty six from a business standpoint,
- 36:37Speaker 2: God has been so merciful to me.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I mean, business booming is getting a lot of money,
- 36:42Speaker 1: you know what.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I'm the same the climate to you know, yeah, say
- 36:46Speaker 2: the climate to you know, not be humble, Yeah, because
- 36:48Speaker 2: it's ugly, always ugly, and that's what I wanted to say,
- 36:52Speaker 2: so I went on a teen year run after a
- 36:54Speaker 2: seven year drought, and ask me how long seven years is?
- 36:58Speaker 2: It's two thousand, five hundred and fifty five days. We
- 37:01Speaker 2: do the math. This is true, A long time, bro,
- 37:03Speaker 2: two thousand, five hundred and fifty five days. I was
- 37:05Speaker 2: home wishing I could experience the last ten years that
- 37:09Speaker 2: God gave me. So now I just I'm so grateful
- 37:12Speaker 2: because I don't do nothing but be myself. I don't
- 37:16Speaker 2: ride nobody's coketail. I'm not signed to nobody's label. There's
- 37:19Speaker 2: not millions of dollars. I was fifteen minutes late because
- 37:22Speaker 2: I had to get my daughter together. It was getting
- 37:23Speaker 2: some artwork painted in my house. I had to drive
- 37:26Speaker 2: from Kimbuck to you.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Wasn't late. We gotta be at work anyways. We also ready,
- 37:33Speaker 1: like where you're at.
- 37:33Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like sixteen minutes away. But I appreciate
- 37:36Speaker 2: it because this this there was days where I dreamt
- 37:39Speaker 2: to be on ball alert. You hear what I'm saying.
- 37:43Speaker 2: It was, I'm watching y'all, my brothers. I see you
- 37:46Speaker 2: at blue when I see you out, and I see
- 37:47Speaker 2: you being a family. We used to have a little
- 37:49Speaker 2: jone mountain.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Yeah, on the bicycles in the yard.
- 37:53Speaker 6: Bro.
- 37:53Speaker 2: So I look up to y'all too. I look up
- 37:55Speaker 2: to my brothers. I'd be happy to see black kings
- 37:57Speaker 2: shining and elevating. And now y'all are loaning to me,
- 38:01Speaker 2: y'all's platform to tell my story or a little piece
- 38:03Speaker 2: of it, you know what I'm saying. She'll always remain humble,
- 38:06Speaker 2: always keep going and understanding that this isn't promised. It's
- 38:10Speaker 2: promised by God. But if you ever think it's about you,
- 38:12Speaker 2: he'll take it away, you know what I'm saying. So
- 38:15Speaker 2: I think y'all for having me humbly, because it was
- 38:19Speaker 2: days where nobody was checking for Sammy again. So that's
- 38:21Speaker 2: why I like that the thirty nine year old salt
- 38:23Speaker 2: and feeder Poppy Sammy is able to come and just
- 38:26Speaker 2: spread some love and some knowledge and some godliiness. You
- 38:29Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. That's all. That's all I'm here for.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Everything else is extra credit.
- 38:33Speaker 6: And last thing, I'm glad you said that because we
- 38:35Speaker 6: just interviewed too Short and his biggest record he made
- 38:37Speaker 6: in his career.
- 38:38Speaker 1: He did at forty years old.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Come on, now, I was like you.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It was forty when you made that.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Come on, now you you I don't even know.
- 38:47Speaker 5: It's too short.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Sixty sixty three.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Damn he keep waking up to it.
- 38:55Speaker 2: There you go. I'm thirty nine, bro, I came out
- 38:58Speaker 2: when I was twelve. I didn't think about that.
- 38:59Speaker 5: Something slip the same.
- 39:01Speaker 2: That's gonna happen, Grace. I can't wait till he get
- 39:03Speaker 2: a grade. I can't wait. And if you die, I
- 39:06Speaker 2: think that, I think I'm splash interview, You're gonna be
- 39:09Speaker 2: like think to be wrapping up. Journey ready turned around.
- 39:15Speaker 2: She is likes gonna be sleep on the way back.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Journey is praying right now. She turned around.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Father, Please please let.
- 39:25Speaker 2: No she's too She turns three, turns three in November's
- 39:29Speaker 2: two years old. Blesses on, blessings, Ma, man, listen, God
- 39:31Speaker 2: is mercy.

- 39:47Speaker 5: don't have faith in him, any of his foolishness. This
- 39:49Speaker 5: is foolish, got it?
- 39:50Speaker 1: Wait, he is foolish. He fighting around.
- 39:54Speaker 2: She needed.
- 39:58Speaker 1: We don't do the interview. Gonna try to get the
- 40:00Speaker 1: interview before they fight.
- 40:01Speaker 5: Where's the fight at? Yeah, I'm not going to see that.

- 40:48Speaker 5: There.
- 40:48Speaker 3: We're gonna get prayed, we're gonna we're gonna break.
- 40:52Speaker 1: But ray J gotta throw more than two punches.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Bro, I don't know. That's that's where he can't fight.
