- 1:39Speaker 4: DA's or was born in Saint Louis, but I was
- 1:41Speaker 4: raised in Savannah, Georgia.
- 1:42Speaker 6: Really really Okay.
- 1:44Speaker 4: St. Louis is going right now right, it's a whole
- 1:46Speaker 4: bunch of artists, female artists to be artists. Let's be
- 1:49Speaker 4: very clear. Coming out of Saint Louis. It's amazing to
- 1:51Speaker 4: see sexy red big boss bed like they doing over there.
- 1:56Speaker 4: And dude, did you.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Ever have sexy reds or big Boss bet he was there?
- 2:00Speaker 4: No, I never met them. I didn't. I didn't grow
- 2:02Speaker 4: up up in Saint Louis like I was more soa
- 2:05Speaker 4: going every summer because my whole family live there, Like
- 2:08Speaker 4: my roots are in Saint Louis, but yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And who's in Savannah.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Nobody's in there Savannah no more. It was just like
- 2:14Speaker 4: my main core family like me and my brother's my.
- 2:16Speaker 8: Mom and then your your your other families is all
- 2:20Speaker 8: from Saint Louis. So have you met Sexy Read and
- 2:23Speaker 8: all of them?
- 2:24Speaker 4: But my cousins have like my cousins and stuff. Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 4: but you personally know.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Y'all got to do a song together.
- 2:29Speaker 4: We should. I love her, like her whole, like dynamic.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I love her. She's just authentic.
- 2:34Speaker 8: I feel like Saint Louis, like the female rappers like
- 2:37Speaker 8: all kind of have like the same personality, just like yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 8: like just that I don't care.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I'm gonna do what I want to do, like I'm.
- 2:43Speaker 4: A attitude because it's like where we come from. You know,
- 2:48Speaker 4: it's not common that you reach these certain points in life.
- 2:54Speaker 4: So it's like when you get there, it's like I'm here,
- 2:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna do what I want to do, and this
- 2:58Speaker 4: is just how it is.
- 2:59Speaker 2: You know, I respect it.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Do you rep Saint Louis or where do you rep?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Where you're from?
- 3:04Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, Saint Louis. I always say, like I
- 3:06Speaker 4: was born in Saint Louis, raised in Savannah. It's like
- 3:07Speaker 4: I can't just say fuck Saint Louis, you know what
- 3:10Speaker 4: I mean. I can't just remove it from my life.
- 3:13Speaker 4: So it's like, yeah, like that's where my roots are from.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Like my court, my mom's side, and my dad's side
- 3:17Speaker 4: is from Saint Louis.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Where did Atlanta come into play?
- 3:20Speaker 4: I moved to Atlanta. I didn't move around so much, y'all.
- 3:23Speaker 4: It's like we can go down memory lane. So born
- 3:27Speaker 4: in Saint Louis, then I moved to Michigan City, Indiana.
- 3:30Speaker 4: My mom was a single mom, like she just went
- 3:32Speaker 4: wherever her heart told her to go. So after Indiana,
- 3:35Speaker 4: we moved to Atlanta, and I was in Atlanta from
- 3:38Speaker 4: like third grade to sixth grade. Then I moved to
- 3:42Speaker 4: Savannah and I stayed in Savannah up until like high school.
- 3:45Speaker 4: So I feel like at Savannah played like the core
- 3:47Speaker 4: in my upbringing, you know, at my personality, everything about
- 3:52Speaker 4: me like was made in Savannah.
- 3:54Speaker 6: To me, is that where you met Jada?
- 3:57Speaker 4: Ye? Did y'all met in seventh grade? Yeah?
- 4:00Speaker 3: That's your best eat.
- 4:01Speaker 4: That's my sister, my sister.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So okay, So did you go back to Atlanta though
- 4:06Speaker 3: after high school life, So what happened after high school?
- 4:08Speaker 4: So after high school I went back in Atlanta Saint
- 4:12Speaker 4: Louis for a little bit. Then my mom wanted to
- 4:14Speaker 4: move to Texas. I didn't stay in Texas for long
- 4:16Speaker 4: at all.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Honestly, really have been everywhere.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I have been everywhere. But then I found myself back
- 4:21Speaker 4: in Atlanta in twenty nineteen. Why because Atlanta's just the
- 4:25Speaker 4: place to be. I feel like home. I felt like
- 4:28Speaker 4: I could work better here. I was more inspired, motivated
- 4:31Speaker 4: to just get up and chase my dreams whatever I
- 4:34Speaker 4: wanted to do at that point in life, because I
- 4:36Speaker 4: really didn't know in twenty nineteen what I wanted to
- 4:38Speaker 4: do for.
- 4:39Speaker 8: So you told your mama, like, boh, I'm going back
- 4:41Speaker 8: to Atlanta, Mama, you can go live in Alaska wherever
- 4:43Speaker 8: you want to go.
- 4:45Speaker 4: I packed my suitcase and I didn't even like no,
- 4:49Speaker 4: I wasn't never coming back home. I packed my suitcase
- 4:51Speaker 4: and I just left. And my high school boyfriend at
- 4:55Speaker 4: the time he lived in Atlanta so like me, and
- 4:57Speaker 4: was living together for a long time until I just
- 5:00Speaker 4: got my own apartment. But it's like I just bought
- 5:02Speaker 4: everything new. I left everything behind, like I started fresh,
- 5:04Speaker 4: and I loved that I did that because it's like
- 5:08Speaker 4: I didn't overthink it, I didn't think too deep. I
- 5:10Speaker 4: just went with what my heart told me to do.
- 5:11Speaker 4: And it's like, I'm just not going back to Texas.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I'm not going back.
- 5:15Speaker 5: So when did desdyor become like popular to the social
- 5:19Speaker 5: media community because we just started seeing you everywhere.
- 5:22Speaker 6: What was that moment?
- 5:23Speaker 4: Well, Daisier used to be I'm Gorgeous. My Instagram name
- 5:27Speaker 4: was I'm gorgeous, So everybody knew me from like I'm gorgeous,
- 5:29Speaker 4: and I kind of had like a bus since high school,
- 5:32Speaker 4: Like I had a bus for a long time. A
- 5:33Speaker 4: lot of people knew me. I sold lip gloss, like
- 5:36Speaker 4: I just used to hustle a lot, but I also
- 5:38Speaker 4: worked a nine to five. I had worked at CVS.
- 5:41Speaker 4: But I was just always ambitious and just unique and different.
- 5:43Speaker 4: I always like put myself on the internet, just doing
- 5:46Speaker 4: anything that came to my mind. And my friendship with Jada,
- 5:50Speaker 4: like we always was known for our friendship and stuff.
- 5:53Speaker 4: So from there Solip Glass, then I started selling clothes.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I just did a lot of different things and then
- 5:59Speaker 4: I myself doing music, and.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I used to go with the music music.
- 6:05Speaker 4: I started professionally doing it in twenty nineteen when I
- 6:09Speaker 4: moved to Atlanta.
- 6:10Speaker 3: That was the Atlanta move That was because you know,
- 6:13Speaker 3: some people moved to It was a reason.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I moved to Atlanta, But it was a part of
- 6:18Speaker 4: the reason because I didn't know if I really really
- 6:20Speaker 4: wanted to do music. Like the more I started to
- 6:23Speaker 4: practice with it, the more I fell in love with it.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Because at first I was just doing a little freestyle
- 6:27Speaker 4: videos and stuff in the car, and like people will
- 6:29Speaker 4: always tell me, like, you need to do music, Like
- 6:30Speaker 4: my dad was like, you need to do music, and
- 6:32Speaker 4: I'm like, no, Like I don't want to do music.
- 6:34Speaker 4: So yeah, it was a part of the reason.
- 6:37Speaker 6: When was that first viral moment that you had of
- 6:40Speaker 6: doing your music.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I did a freestyle to Young Dolf preach RP to him. Yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 4: I did a freestyle to one of his songs when
- 6:49Speaker 4: I was in high school ninth grade.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Is that the confirmation that you needed to say, I.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Need to do this. No, I was really just having fun,
- 6:56Speaker 4: Like I was good at it, but like I was
- 6:58Speaker 4: really just having fun. I didn't I wasn't really taking
- 7:01Speaker 4: it serious. It was just something I knew how to
- 7:02Speaker 4: do and I just was doing it. It wasn't until
- 7:05Speaker 4: I made my first song and I like first started
- 7:09Speaker 4: getting in a studio because my dad put me in
- 7:11Speaker 4: a studio first, Like he set up my studio time that. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 4: he did everything. He like connected the dots for me,
- 7:17Speaker 4: found the people, engineered everything, and like I just had
- 7:20Speaker 4: to show up and I kind of like fell in
- 7:22Speaker 4: love with how it made me feel expressing and just
- 7:25Speaker 4: making music. So from there, that's when I knew, like, okay,
- 7:28Speaker 4: this is for me, Like I like how I feel
- 7:30Speaker 4: doing this.
- 7:30Speaker 8: So when could you tell the like your popularity started
- 7:34Speaker 8: growing online.
- 7:35Speaker 4: From music when I it was twenty twenty. Yeah, twenty
- 7:41Speaker 4: twenty was like my most impactful year, I feel like
- 7:44Speaker 4: because we had that time where we had to sit
- 7:45Speaker 4: down during the pandemic and it just gave me so
- 7:49Speaker 4: much time to really focus on myself and lock in,
- 7:52Speaker 4: Like we had nothing but time with ourselves. So I
- 7:54Speaker 4: was coming up with so I sold Weaginner products like
- 7:57Speaker 4: I was just a hustler, Like I was in grind
- 8:00Speaker 4: mode and I locked in with my music, built my
- 8:03Speaker 4: team around me. Like my friend she was very creative.
- 8:07Speaker 4: So I'm like, Okay, you're my creative director. You're gonna
- 8:09Speaker 4: put these videos together. And then my other homeboy, he
- 8:12Speaker 4: was like, I'm like, you my manager, you gonna handle
- 8:15Speaker 4: this for me, like and we about to get this
- 8:17Speaker 4: done and we're gonna do this. I did my first
- 8:19Speaker 4: big video shoot in Atlanta during the pandemic, and it
- 8:22Speaker 4: brought out so many people. It was for my song
- 8:23Speaker 4: talk to Me, and I feel like that's when I
- 8:25Speaker 4: really created like a huge buzz, like really really big.
- 8:29Speaker 4: And that's from there, It's like my team grew even more.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I found videographers and then I started taking them everywhere
- 8:35Speaker 4: with me, so it's like they were capturing my content,
- 8:38Speaker 4: capturing me grow. Like everything just hand in hand, like
- 8:42Speaker 4: the recording process, the video process, and everything was just
- 8:44Speaker 4: real organic at a point, like everything was just really
- 8:47Speaker 4: really organic and I was just doing whatever made me
- 8:50Speaker 4: feel good.
- 8:51Speaker 3: So when does the infamous line tell Dad's made me
- 8:55Speaker 3: some wo like say noodles and because yeah, I just
- 9:04Speaker 3: had some shrimp Raymond last night.
- 9:07Speaker 4: That's why he's saying.
- 9:11Speaker 5: We're talking about feature for those who don't know, and
- 9:13Speaker 5: that was a popular relationship for you.
- 9:16Speaker 6: How did that relationship change your life?
- 9:20Speaker 4: It really did it change? Well?
- 9:23Speaker 5: I mean, like I guess a lot of more people
- 9:25Speaker 5: knew because he was mentioning you in song.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, uh, I got a lot of I
- 9:32Speaker 4: mean people people do we dated, But like it didn't
- 9:36Speaker 4: necessarily change my life.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Like did your popularity grow after?
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:47Speaker 4: But I mean Hay has come it did, like widden
- 9:50Speaker 4: a crowd for like opinionated people in my life. Like
- 9:54Speaker 4: everybody just think they know everything since that relationship, Like
- 9:58Speaker 4: they just think they know my life. So how did
- 10:02Speaker 4: you meet him? Now you meet everybody on the socials?
- 10:08Speaker 6: Did you go after him?
- 10:09Speaker 4: Or I'm not baby? I got chos, I didn't do
- 10:15Speaker 4: no chasing.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Yeah did we Did we ever get any collab records?
- 10:20Speaker 1: Or no?
- 10:20Speaker 3: That's probably never gonna come out.
- 10:23Speaker 4: We have a song, but is it gonna come out?
- 10:25Speaker 4: I don't know. I got a song, a lot of
- 10:27Speaker 4: songs with a lot of people that I don't know.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Are you sign You're fully independent? Are you thinking about
- 10:35Speaker 3: one day?
- 10:35Speaker 4: I enjoy being independent. I'm not biased to signing, Like
- 10:39Speaker 4: I think I do want to sign eventually one day.
- 10:41Speaker 4: But I handle everything pretty good myself.
- 10:45Speaker 2: You got labels calling anybody.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's like it just got to be the
- 10:49Speaker 4: right situation, you know what I mean, Like I done
- 10:52Speaker 4: came so far on my own, and my lawyer always
- 10:55Speaker 4: tell me, like, don't forget what you built by yourself.
- 10:58Speaker 4: So when you decide, it's just got to be the
- 11:01Speaker 4: right opportunity because you ain't like I ain't really like
- 11:04Speaker 4: super needy, you know what I mean, Like, God bless
- 11:06Speaker 4: me with all this is like I ain't gotta just
- 11:09Speaker 4: sell my soul for anything.
- 11:11Speaker 3: So is that's the or single?
- 11:13Speaker 4: There's the or is single? Right now? That's the r
- 11:15Speaker 4: is single?
- 11:18Speaker 3: Her eye on anybody.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Who got their eyes on days?
- 11:24Speaker 3: Who got your So there's nobody that you're entertaining at
- 11:27Speaker 3: the moment.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Oh no, nobody entertaining at the moment.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Would you ever circle back to anybody?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Maybe? Yeah, I mean why not? You know, it's like
- 11:37Speaker 4: nothing wrong with the old fling.
- 11:38Speaker 8: Okay, very funny you are.
- 11:47Speaker 3: So what what would you look for in the guy?
- 11:49Speaker 3: Like what what would a guy have to do to
- 11:51Speaker 3: get your attention? Because you're busy?
- 11:55Speaker 4: I feel like a guy has to just be very
- 11:56Speaker 4: intentional with what he wants.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Like I could only be a could it be a
- 12:00Speaker 3: girl too, or no.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Guy, Okay, he has to be very intentional, like a
- 12:06Speaker 4: godfairing man who just is sure of himself, you know,
- 12:08Speaker 4: don't come over here trying to run my life and
- 12:11Speaker 4: make me insecure and all of that. Yeah, just very intentional,
- 12:14Speaker 4: know what he wants and know how to handle me. Yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Are you like a love person? Like do you like
- 12:24Speaker 3: do you love love? Like you like flowers and like
- 12:27Speaker 3: a hopeless, hopeless romantic Yeah, I love love.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I love romanticize and everything. Like me and my friends
- 12:32Speaker 4: were just talking about it on vacation. We just went
- 12:34Speaker 4: to Antiga and everything. We was like, oh yeah, this
- 12:37Speaker 4: would be a cute like vacation like everything we just
- 12:39Speaker 4: related it to, like oh yeah, I can see me
- 12:41Speaker 4: and my man doing this. We so delusional, but like
- 12:47Speaker 4: we do that a lot, and it's like we are
- 12:49Speaker 4: really like lover girls.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Do you ever see yourself as being a mom one day?
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yeah, eventually, I think probably like mid thirties. Yeah, it's
- 12:58Speaker 4: like about me right now. I got nephews, you know,
- 13:02Speaker 4: and watching my friends raised kids. It's like, yeah, when
- 13:06Speaker 4: you want to be a while, I would love to
- 13:09Speaker 4: be a wife, a wife to a man who is
- 13:13Speaker 4: ready to be a husband. Okay, you know because these
- 13:17Speaker 4: men out here these.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Days speaking of being on vacation. You was on vacation
- 13:21Speaker 5: with your bestie, right, yeah. And then I scene that
- 13:24Speaker 5: you guys went viral for her saying she felt like summer, Mmm, I.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Don't really like to be on my mother's head hold
- 13:35Speaker 4: like some about like some walk up. But she didn't
- 13:42Speaker 4: mean any shade by that, dish. No, she didn't mean
- 13:44Speaker 4: no shade by that. Like she literally we was drunk
- 13:47Speaker 4: as fuck. She had faced and she like, I'm about
- 13:49Speaker 4: to be on my head. Like it was like, bitch,
- 13:50Speaker 4: I could I could relate if anything, I'm about to
- 13:52Speaker 4: be on my head. Yeah, we ain't no shady queen.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah. Why do people always seem to bring up Jamie?
- 13:58Speaker 3: It seems like they just bring her and the ship that's.
- 14:01Speaker 4: A vibrant person, and you know when you just this
- 14:04Speaker 4: vibrant person and you just you, like you on this
- 14:08Speaker 4: high frequency, sometimes the DEVI will just try to throw
- 14:11Speaker 4: curveballs at you all the time, like it's a very
- 14:14Speaker 4: negative world. So I feel like they just can't take her.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Sometimes the Internet is very low vibrational a lot, and
- 14:22Speaker 4: sometimes they do piss us off because it's like they
- 14:24Speaker 4: kind of like force you to defend yourself, like I'm
- 14:26Speaker 4: over here in my world, Like we're over here in
- 14:29Speaker 4: our world and we were good, and they just will
- 14:32Speaker 4: try to like just throw you in some ship.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Like when you read comments and do you look at shit?
- 14:38Speaker 4: Sometimes not really? Sometimes sometimes you read dms. Mmm, that's
- 14:44Speaker 4: how you got future. I've been skimming seeing what's going
- 14:48Speaker 4: on in now sometimes.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Okay, So where do you see yourself in the future?
- 14:53Speaker 3: So is RAP a goal of yours to accomplish at
- 14:57Speaker 3: a high level?
- 14:58Speaker 4: RAP is definitely a goal of mine to a coomplished
- 15:00Speaker 4: at a high level. But I am so good at
- 15:03Speaker 4: many things, Like I'm diving deep into the fashion world.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I'm doing some design, thank you. It's like I'm doing
- 15:12Speaker 4: some more designing like hopefully launched my brand really soon
- 15:16Speaker 4: and acting, just a lot of different things. So acting,
- 15:20Speaker 4: what you guys took acting classes? I got this audition
- 15:25Speaker 4: for a p Valley. I felt like I really could have,
- 15:28Speaker 4: like really like out did the role if I would
- 15:32Speaker 4: have had a little more experience. I'm like, you know what,
- 15:34Speaker 4: if I'm gonna do something, I'm gonna do it to
- 15:35Speaker 4: my best ability. So yeah, but yeah, I got a
- 15:39Speaker 4: lot of things I want to check off my list
- 15:43Speaker 4: priority RBG Merch Merch, and then I want to go
- 15:47Speaker 4: into like a more personal line.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Everybody, everybody, everybody.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Well you you talking about the like the trucker hats.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Yeah no not that's r G. That's it's so similar,
- 15:59Speaker 4: but no, not that correct me please IRBG Merch is
- 16:02Speaker 4: Rich Bitch Gang.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Oh okay, that's your gang.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's that's I should have brought you some.
- 16:09Speaker 4: But yeah, it's basically right, I got y'all. It's basically
- 16:12Speaker 4: just like my whole thing. Like with my music, I
- 16:16Speaker 4: manifest a lot, Like I feel like I really manifested
- 16:18Speaker 4: my life. Like from when I first made talk to Me,
- 16:20Speaker 4: Rich Bitch Don't Play, I was just speaking like a
- 16:23Speaker 4: lot of things over my life. So that's where like
- 16:25Speaker 4: Rich Bitch Gang came into play, and like I made
- 16:28Speaker 4: these cups. They said rich juice cause you just got
- 16:31Speaker 4: to be real intentional with what you're doing, Like we're
- 16:32Speaker 4: drinking everything expensive right, but no, we can put this
- 16:38Speaker 4: in that cut but so expensive ass water. But yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 4: so that's like where it came from. So I want
- 16:44Speaker 4: to just take that to another level with my merge
- 16:47Speaker 4: and then do something more personal like but I feel
- 16:50Speaker 4: like before I do something really really personal, I want
- 16:52Speaker 4: to explore with the design and for other brands, Like
- 16:55Speaker 4: right now, I designed to collab with Melissa someone. She's
- 16:58Speaker 4: a black own swim line. She's on a whole bunch
- 17:02Speaker 4: of different websites, but like, I designed a swim thing
- 17:06Speaker 4: for her and that's released. Then closer to my birthday,
- 17:08Speaker 4: it's a Scorpio collection or a second Scorpio, and I'm
- 17:13Speaker 4: doing a couple other things with a lot of other people.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Speaking of scorpios, real quick, there's a scorpio who's kind
- 17:18Speaker 5: of upset with you.
- 17:19Speaker 6: His name is Kenny Burns. Do you know him?
- 17:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I've heard of him. I do I know?
- 17:24Speaker 4: He made what he the video?
- 17:25Speaker 3: He did?
- 17:29Speaker 4: You know you guys, I didn't even know. I thought
- 17:32Speaker 4: it was my assistant handing me to Mike because let
- 17:36Speaker 4: me just get you out of backstory. So the party
- 17:39Speaker 4: was super packed. It was super packed. It was a
- 17:41Speaker 4: lot of people there. I got mad anxiety, like it
- 17:44Speaker 4: was just a lot going on. So the stage was
- 17:48Speaker 4: crowded and Larry wanted all of the people he booked
- 17:51Speaker 4: to come to the stage. So I didn't know I
- 17:53Speaker 4: was gonna have to go to the stage. So I'm like,
- 17:55Speaker 4: oh my goodness, I'm freaking out. I'm okay, I don't
- 17:57Speaker 4: want to want to go on the stage. Fuck. So
- 17:59Speaker 4: we walked to the stage. You don't have to go
- 18:00Speaker 4: back to the seat because something happened. It was something
- 18:02Speaker 4: at the stage security was tripping whatever. So we go
- 18:04Speaker 4: back to my section and then like they stopped the party.
- 18:07Speaker 4: He stopped the party and was like, y'all let daszyor through.
- 18:10Speaker 4: So I'm like in my heart hand again, like fuck,
- 18:13Speaker 4: Like everybody's staring at me, and it's like I should
- 18:15Speaker 4: be used to this, but I don't know, Like I
- 18:17Speaker 4: just I just was tripping. Yeah, So I go on stage.
- 18:20Speaker 4: I'm like, oh my goodness. So I'm just like tunnel,
- 18:22Speaker 4: I don't see anything. When I just go into that mold,
- 18:25Speaker 4: It's like I don't see anything. I just see what's
- 18:27Speaker 4: in front of me. So as he's trying to hand
- 18:29Speaker 4: it to me, I didn't even see him. I just
- 18:30Speaker 4: like pushed it and it was like no shade.
- 18:32Speaker 2: To him, Like, so you didn't see when he was
- 18:35Speaker 2: handing you to mic, I.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Didn't see him I was just I did not see
- 18:39Speaker 4: see him. I didn't see him like I didn't look
- 18:42Speaker 4: at I didn't like look at him and say no,
- 18:43Speaker 4: like you know what I mean, and the video you
- 18:45Speaker 4: even see like I didn't even look to the left.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I just went like that, Yeah, that's what I That's
- 18:49Speaker 2: what I noticed. That's why I went.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I felt that way too. I felt you was just
- 18:52Speaker 3: like you didn't really know.
- 18:53Speaker 4: It wasn't like an intentional and I probably should have
- 18:55Speaker 4: paid more attention, but like it wasn't like no shades.
- 18:57Speaker 4: I didn't mean no disrespect.
- 18:59Speaker 5: Well you know how y'all grpios can be. So he
- 19:01Speaker 5: was just really upset about that.
- 19:02Speaker 4: So he has Garbiel. Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm not. I mean,
- 19:08Speaker 4: that's what I'm saying, Like I meant no disrespect. I'm not.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not a bit.
- 19:12Speaker 7: We'll be right back with more of The Baller Alert Show.
- 19:23Speaker 7: You're listening to a special edition of The Baller Alert Show.
- 19:26Speaker 4: What's up, y'all, it's your girl, Dad's de r and
- 19:27Speaker 4: you are now tuned into the Baller Alert.
- 19:30Speaker 3: What did your name come from?
- 19:31Speaker 2: Dan's de Or?
- 19:32Speaker 4: I had a YouTube channel and I was trying to
- 19:34Speaker 4: find something that like really resonated with me, that like
- 19:37Speaker 4: was easily thought about. So I like fashion. I've always
- 19:40Speaker 4: liked fashion, and this was really before I was into
- 19:43Speaker 4: like really like heavy into designer and stuff like that.
- 19:46Speaker 4: But the yor just sounded good.
- 19:47Speaker 3: It's like your name Desiree or something.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Destiny, Destiny, that's your real name, Destiny.
- 19:53Speaker 2: That's a good rap name.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Dan's Yeah, It's like it went cool at first it
- 19:59Speaker 4: was just my YouTube name and then everybody just just
- 20:02Speaker 4: stuck with Everybody likedzzy or like people say it so naturally.
- 20:04Speaker 5: I'm like, what is your advice for us some entrepreneurs
- 20:09Speaker 5: looking up to you and like, man, I want to
- 20:11Speaker 5: go that route.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Focus on yourself, like never get too caught up in
- 20:17Speaker 4: everything around you, and know what you want and don't
- 20:21Speaker 4: stop until you get that because everything is possible, and
- 20:24Speaker 4: put God first.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Have you become a millionaire already?
- 20:29Speaker 4: I feel like I touched a millionaire? Definitely?
- 20:34Speaker 6: What was that first million?
- 20:35Speaker 4: Like it don't really feel like anything, because it's like
- 20:40Speaker 4: once you get there, you want more, you know what
- 20:43Speaker 4: I mean?
- 20:44Speaker 6: Was it hard to get there?
- 20:45Speaker 4: Or Yeah? Take a lot of time and a lot
- 20:47Speaker 4: of saving and a lot of work, and you gotta
- 20:49Speaker 4: manage your money, you know. And right now, I feel
- 20:52Speaker 4: like I'm at a point where I'm trying to invest
- 20:54Speaker 4: so I can like flip, like make way more.
- 20:57Speaker 6: Than I ever read smart investments and stuff like.
- 21:00Speaker 3: You're just saving right now.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and spending and saving and spending and saving.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Wheping it real though.
- 21:07Speaker 8: Yeah, some people will get up here in line and say, oh, yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 8: I'm invested in this and.
- 21:11Speaker 3: That, and I don't know.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I can't lie. You're spending go to clothes, my family, traveling,
- 21:21Speaker 4: my music, just me and my family.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Yeah, you're self funded as far as your music go funded.
- 21:30Speaker 3: That's very difficult.
- 21:32Speaker 4: It's very difficult. But I feel like money management, you know,
- 21:35Speaker 4: like you got to put something up. You gotta just
- 21:36Speaker 4: gotta manage your money.
- 21:38Speaker 3: So you're paying for your own video shoot, you're paying
- 21:39Speaker 3: for hair and makeup, you're paying for travel.
- 21:42Speaker 4: My own clothes. I don't pull clothes. I pay for
- 21:44Speaker 4: my own clothes, my own makeup, my own hair. I
- 21:47Speaker 4: pay my manager and my assistant, my everybody, everybody get
- 21:50Speaker 4: paid by me.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Family.
- 21:53Speaker 4: They already calling.
- 21:55Speaker 2: You said you touched a million here.
- 21:58Speaker 4: No, my family. I love my family, But yeah, that's
- 22:04Speaker 4: they ass give me a headache. But that's another story
- 22:07Speaker 4: for another day.
- 22:08Speaker 5: So you're doing the music and you you said you
- 22:10Speaker 5: have your own lip gloss line.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Still no, not still, that's like one of the first
- 22:14Speaker 4: businesses I actually did myself.
- 22:16Speaker 6: What other businesses do you have currently that are active
- 22:19Speaker 6: for you?
- 22:19Speaker 4: I got my merch but I put it on pause
- 22:22Speaker 4: because I want to just like revamp my jogging suits,
- 22:25Speaker 4: my sweatsuits, my flash my cups, like I just want
- 22:28Speaker 4: to take it to another level. So that's why I said, like, yeah, yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 4: So I took a break with that because I feel
- 22:35Speaker 4: like when I try to like split myself into too
- 22:38Speaker 4: many things, it's hard to give everything my awe. So,
- 22:41Speaker 4: like I said, this year, I was just gonna dedicate
- 22:43Speaker 4: to the designing for other people brands, like the behind
- 22:47Speaker 4: the scenes of that, Like how how it is being
- 22:49Speaker 4: a creative director for other people. So yeah, that's kind
- 22:53Speaker 4: of what I'm doing right now.
- 22:54Speaker 6: Has that been lucrative for you being a creative director?
- 22:56Speaker 4: It's new, it's new, but I like it. I'm still
- 23:00Speaker 4: learning the ins and outs, but I think it's definitely
- 23:04Speaker 4: something I could see myself doing.
- 23:05Speaker 6: What does that consist of.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Meetings like the drawing board, picking fabrics, picking prints, find
- 23:14Speaker 4: the designs, looking for inspiration, traveling, and just like with designing,
- 23:19Speaker 4: it's like you find inspiration in anything, like I can
- 23:21Speaker 4: be in Greece like oh my goodness, Like I could
- 23:23Speaker 4: see a whole collection based around this lounge. You know
- 23:26Speaker 4: what I mean. So it's just about find the inspiration
- 23:29Speaker 4: and putting it into a thing.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Question back to the music real quick? Do you are
- 23:35Speaker 3: we going to have like an album of project yes, tape?
- 23:39Speaker 5: What?
- 23:40Speaker 4: I don't know if I want to drop another I
- 23:41Speaker 4: just dropped the EP in September, then we dropped Stone
- 23:47Speaker 4: Cold in October, so I think I would want to
- 23:49Speaker 4: come another single and then just from there, see what
- 23:53Speaker 4: speaks to me? If I want to do like another
- 23:54Speaker 4: EP album or whatever.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Anybody that you want to collab with.
- 23:59Speaker 4: I love name, I always say that in every interview,
- 24:02Speaker 4: Like I love Jennaiko, I would love to collaborate with her.
- 24:05Speaker 8: What about a female rapper, because female rappers are running
- 24:08Speaker 8: the game right now, y'all got the torch female rapper.
- 24:13Speaker 4: I like sexy, I like flow, I love every female rapper,
- 24:16Speaker 4: like everybody doing a thing. That's another thing I really
- 24:18Speaker 4: love right now is it's like a whole field of women,
- 24:22Speaker 4: like you barely even see any guys, Like it's a
- 24:25Speaker 4: new female rapper every game. It really is like it
- 24:28Speaker 4: used to not be that much roal for us, and
- 24:30Speaker 4: now it's just like we taking up all the space.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I'm not a hater.
- 24:33Speaker 8: I'm loving this music that's coming out these females because
- 24:37Speaker 8: I did not think female music will be hitting like
- 24:39Speaker 8: this in the club.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Music.
- 24:42Speaker 6: Really, I mean people, you got good artists and you
- 24:44Speaker 6: got bad artists.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you know.
- 24:46Speaker 5: I don't feel like it's a gender that makes it
- 24:48Speaker 5: better or worse.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it's room for everybody.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Do you ever sing a little bit? Because I know
- 24:53Speaker 3: sometimes some females have a little notes in them.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I got a little raspy voice that people love. So
- 24:58Speaker 4: it's like I play with like the melodics, but like
- 25:01Speaker 4: like R and B, like notes and stuff.
- 25:04Speaker 8: I don't know she thinking about Sometimes specific voice can
- 25:13Speaker 8: holler like a.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Mom and you be like damn that I can't.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Really like my voice don't really go to yes like
- 25:20Speaker 4: a real monotone.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Like I feel like we need a Saint Louis collabed
- 25:25Speaker 5: you Sexy Red and Big Boss Fit I think so too.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I'm not sexy red big boss. Hit me up. Girls, let's.
