- 0:47Speaker 3: was refined.
- 0:47Speaker 5: I was trying to make people laugh away. But by
- 0:49Speaker 5: not giving it the thing, you know, because in this
- 0:52Speaker 5: d and age we can all use the laugh. Yeah,

- 1:08Speaker 3: intrigued by your pant today?
- 1:10Speaker 6: What's with the pants? Well, it's differ They're kind of
- 1:13Speaker 6: a slack. Really, No, they're a pant. They're not a slack.
- 1:18Speaker 6: You're just something a bit more breezy and easy for summer.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Jason. Sure, it gets to this time of year Each
- 1:24Speaker 4: year I think to myself, I might try something new,
- 1:26Speaker 4: and it always ends up being an absolute failure, and
- 1:28Speaker 4: I just go back to my jeans. Yeah, but I'm
- 1:30Speaker 4: quite happy with these pants. I've got another pair as well,
- 1:33Speaker 4: a bit different keys either are blue, a navy sort
- 1:35Speaker 4: of a blue. It looks it's nice to have a
- 1:38Speaker 4: in summer. And just to mix it up a bit, Jase,
- 1:40Speaker 4: I've got my blue jeans, but they were dirty, and
- 1:42Speaker 4: my black jeans and they were dirty. And the great
- 1:45Speaker 4: gray jeans are just a little bit heavy for the
- 1:47Speaker 4: kind of warmth that we've been enjoying at the moment.
- 1:49Speaker 4: So long story short made. Yeah, just bored them.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Mike, wait to get the shaft to a flyer, Mate, Yeah, totally.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Hey, well, Jase asked the question, and I wouldn't be
- 2:00Speaker 4: right to me not to ask it. I know the
- 2:01Speaker 4: listeners give a ship, you know I.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Will maintain does no matter what you're wearing, Mate, you
- 2:07Speaker 3: could wear a bloody potato sack. It'd still look hot.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I appreciate that, man, especially coming from an absolute mad
- 2:14Speaker 4: dog and a six son of a bee like yourself. Yeah,
- 2:18Speaker 4: I'm disappointed today that you wearing your classic Jimmy Barnes
- 2:22Speaker 4: blue check working man's shirt. Yeah, well I am and
- 2:25Speaker 4: hard a working man a backbone you always have been.
- 2:29Speaker 4: But after yes, you set the new standard with your
- 2:31Speaker 4: lemon shirt. Sure, but you know you got you got.
- 2:34Speaker 4: You can't have that every day, mate, People get sick
- 2:36Speaker 4: of a good thing at the end of the day.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Hardy j does have blue denim in his veins.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Totally, Telly. What that T shirt you're wearing his? Neat
- 2:43Speaker 3: Keysy dragon Ball?
- 2:46Speaker 5: No dragon ball z Nodon, it's actually dragon Ball.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yes, the origin is a dragon baller from the Thanks,
- 2:54Speaker 2: really cool.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Man, and it's perfectly ironed as well. It's it's looking good,
- 2:58Speaker 3: as are you? Keezy as all? Mate? Looking really healthy?
- 3:01Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 3:02Speaker 2: It's what do you mean healthy?
- 3:03Speaker 4: See?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Why can't you just say I look good?
- 3:05Speaker 3: Well you look good slash healthy?
- 3:07Speaker 4: Okay? Yeah, thanks Jay? So do you man? You be healthy?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Thanks? Man's really taking care of myself at the moment.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, you've taking care of yourself.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I just saw you limp into the office and eat
- 3:19Speaker 2: half a donut.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you just said, why did I eat that?
- 3:24Speaker 3: Can? I can? I be honest, I cut about a
- 3:26Speaker 3: fifth of it off right, a little cube and.
- 3:32Speaker 2: It's not even yours either.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Hey, no, li'sten massive shally head. We don't have a
- 3:37Speaker 3: bit of Guy fawks chet good lord man alive. There's
- 3:42Speaker 3: plenty to sink your teeth into. But let's have some June.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Shall we even a Linny Kravitz.
- 3:48Speaker 1: The whole Lucky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 3:52Speaker 3: And Massive at Tank there on the radio Hodlarky Big
- 3:55Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is twelve minutes past
- 3:58Speaker 3: four o'clock. Of course, Guy walks last night Maggie and
- 4:01Speaker 3: Keysy and you know the situation in my household with
- 4:06Speaker 3: my dog. Yeah, so I got home last night and
- 4:10Speaker 3: she was drugged to the eyeballs.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Man, Yeah, would you give it dachura.
- 4:14Speaker 3: She was so affectionate your dog. She was just rubbing
- 4:18Speaker 3: her head against me, hey eye there and licking me
- 4:23Speaker 3: and she was just having a good old time. But
- 4:26Speaker 3: true story seven o'clock right, oh no, it was no.
- 4:30Speaker 3: I got home so it was just twenty past seven
- 4:33Speaker 3: last night. She was on the couch, just chilling out.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Still daylight.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Wait, wait was this in the lounge in the lounge.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It was the duck.
- 4:42Speaker 3: The duck. I haven't seen the duck actually for a
- 4:44Speaker 3: little while. I think it gets freaked out by guy
- 4:47Speaker 3: as well. Yeah, yeah, so twenty past seven, she's lying
- 4:53Speaker 3: on the couch, just chill yeah, daylight still the thing
- 4:59Speaker 3: to little pop of a firework in the far far distance.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Immediately she jumps up on all fours, leaps off the
- 5:11Speaker 3: couch and just starts barking her ass off. And that
- 5:15Speaker 3: was my household till one thirty in the morning.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:18Speaker 3: And here's the interesting thing. Actually, because we stayed up
- 5:21Speaker 3: because it was no point trying to sleep with her
- 5:23Speaker 3: barking like that. We went to bed at one thirty.
- 5:25Speaker 3: The fireworks are still going off. We went to bed,
- 5:28Speaker 3: My wife and I never barked again.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Wait wait, wait, so the fireworks were still going but
- 5:33Speaker 5: you weren't there.
- 5:34Speaker 3: No, we were there. We're in our room. We closed
- 5:36Speaker 3: our door, we closed the lounge door. She was in
- 5:38Speaker 3: the lounge where she sleeps. Not a sound, not a peep. Right,
- 5:42Speaker 3: So it's obviously something to do with the fact that
- 5:46Speaker 3: she's trying to protect her clan.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Maybe, Yeah, it doesn't explain when you were away and
- 5:51Speaker 4: she was going nut's barking at the storm. You remember
- 5:54Speaker 4: she was barking at the window.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yes, at the thunder actually babet.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Well my daughter was there though, Yeah, well.
- 6:03Speaker 5: That's right, but because your daughter might have been in
- 6:06Speaker 5: the lounge up and about. So maybe whenever it's guy
- 6:09Speaker 5: fawks or whenever the wind comes up, you guys all
- 6:12Speaker 5: just have to go to bed.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Well, this brings me back to my idea about putting
- 6:15Speaker 4: her in a deep freeze, because then she's isolated and
- 6:18Speaker 4: she doesn't need to protect you, and she'll be sort
- 6:21Speaker 4: of concentrating on you know, when you say deep freeze,
- 6:24Speaker 4: you mean like a deep freezer. Yeah, you know, there's
- 6:26Speaker 4: big she has deep freezers back in the old days.
- 6:29Speaker 4: They don't have them anymore because lifem so convenient, but
- 6:32Speaker 4: just sort of effectively a little a chilled kennel, like
- 6:37Speaker 4: a sedation unit, a sedation unit, a cryo thermal unity,
- 6:41Speaker 4: that's right.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so you put her in there sort of
- 6:43Speaker 5: a day before build up.
- 6:46Speaker 4: But certainly, you know, sort of mid afternoon there, right,
- 6:48Speaker 4: and that'll just slow the heart right, also access to
- 6:52Speaker 4: sort of block out the sound as well.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And so and like in that scenario, we go to bed,
- 6:58Speaker 3: take her out of the deep freezer, put a polling
- 7:00Speaker 3: down and need to just thaw out.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so, man. Or you could put her
- 7:05Speaker 4: on the bench just on one of your chopping boards
- 7:08Speaker 4: there and put a teatwel over it came out in
- 7:11Speaker 4: the morning, she'll be beautiful. Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Actually, you can put her in like run the heaps
- 7:15Speaker 5: of like warm water in the bath and then you
- 7:17Speaker 5: put her in there, but then she might start floating.
- 7:19Speaker 5: So you put something like heavy on top of you
- 7:21Speaker 5: know what I mean to.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Like counterweight.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Yeah, So what would you do that in that case? Though? No,
- 7:29Speaker 4: you think of something, Yeah, you think of something, yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 4: or just go to bed maybe next guy fawks eh yeah,
- 7:34Speaker 4: yeah sounds yeah. Well I had a bit of an
- 7:37Speaker 4: experience as well last night. We'll get to that. We'll
- 7:39Speaker 4: get to that the next break. But yeah, you know
- 7:42Speaker 4: how I feel about guy fakes. You love it? Eh.
- 7:48Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Mike and Kyzy. Tune
- 7:51Speaker 1: in week days and four on radio.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Hold Ikey yeah guns there on the Radio Hod You
- 8:00Speaker 3: pictured this Wednesday afternoon. The time is twenty five minutes
- 8:02Speaker 3: past four o'clock. We've just been doing a little bit
- 8:04Speaker 3: of a guy fawks shit, haven't we, Jason. We're just
- 8:06Speaker 3: sort of caring about you and your dog and how
- 8:08Speaker 3: it doesn't stop barking. It just makes for a nightmare
- 8:10Speaker 3: every evening and you don't really enjoy it. And I've
- 8:13Speaker 3: sort of had a similar vibe, a similar feelings about
- 8:16Speaker 3: guy fawks for a while, yes, potentially steaming from you know,
- 8:20Speaker 3: when I was eighteen, I got hit in the eye
- 8:21Speaker 3: where the skyrocket and my eyeball when a drunk mate
- 8:24Speaker 3: pointed at my head and it hit me directly on
- 8:26Speaker 3: my left eye and left me with a probably about
- 8:28Speaker 3: eighty percent vision gone, so pretty much blinded my left eye.
- 8:32Speaker 3: And then moving on from there, you're just like, well,
- 8:35Speaker 3: they've got rid of the good ones, so don't have
- 8:37Speaker 3: double happies anymore. You know, many dynamites you could chuck
- 8:41Speaker 3: at each other or anything like that, So those are
- 8:42Speaker 3: the good ones that I liked, and they're gone, so
- 8:44Speaker 3: who cares?
- 8:45Speaker 4: And then also there's the animals. The animals freak out
- 8:48Speaker 4: like yours does, like my dog used to amazingly. Last night,
- 8:51Speaker 4: my dog Tinker, she was outside where they're all going off.
- 8:57Speaker 4: She couldn't hear jack shit. She used to. She used
- 9:01Speaker 4: to be the same as Roy, just completely freaking out.
- 9:04Speaker 4: It's exhausting.
- 9:05Speaker 5: That's a bonus, right, it's the best because Tink is
- 9:07Speaker 5: quite old now, so the fact she can't see your
- 9:09Speaker 5: hair anything.
- 9:10Speaker 4: It's magnificent. That is the one plus of it. So
- 9:13Speaker 4: my sort of feeling has been, well, do we really
- 9:16Speaker 4: need to have it? I haven't been, you know, I'm
- 9:18Speaker 4: not campaigning for it by any stretch of the imagination,
- 9:20Speaker 4: but I see people's point of view, and you just
- 9:22Speaker 4: have your public displays which I'll never go and see,
- 9:25Speaker 4: and just sort of leave it at that. Well, last
- 9:27Speaker 4: night was my daughter's first first guy for she's five
- 9:30Speaker 4: years old, so I bought a bunch. We put her
- 9:33Speaker 4: a bed at six. She kept on getting up, but
- 9:37Speaker 4: eventually went to sleep, and I got up about nine
- 9:39Speaker 4: thirty when it was nice and dark, and then when
- 9:41Speaker 4: it went out and led off, probably know ten or
- 9:45Speaker 4: twenty different kind of fountains and bangers and one of
- 9:48Speaker 4: those Roman candles, yes, a bunch of those, and she
- 9:51Speaker 4: was absolutely delighted, Yes, thrilled, excited, She had an absolute
- 9:58Speaker 4: ball and it was a great family bonding experience. Sure,
- 10:05Speaker 4: and there's not you don't have a lot of those
- 10:07Speaker 4: where you know, you get to see your kids first
- 10:09Speaker 4: time enjoying something and it's pretty amazing, Like, yeah, we're
- 10:13Speaker 4: just used to it, right, We've been alive for god
- 10:16Speaker 4: knows how many decades.
- 10:17Speaker 3: We don't like anything, forty three years, Maggie, And you.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Look at these kids and it's it's unbelievable. So for
- 10:22Speaker 4: them it's so exciting, and so you actually get to
- 10:25Speaker 4: enjoy it for a second time through their experience, and
- 10:28Speaker 4: so my viewpoint on it has completely changed. And all
- 10:31Speaker 4: these people out there complaining about the effect that has
- 10:34Speaker 4: on their animals and they can just get stuffed.
- 10:37Speaker 5: I mean, it's interesting, right because you say that, and
- 10:40Speaker 5: I do remember back the very first time.
- 10:42Speaker 2: It was at not the house that grew up in,
- 10:44Speaker 2: the one when I was very young.
- 10:45Speaker 5: I remember being given a sparklet a hole, yeah, and
- 10:47Speaker 5: being like I'm holding a stick with fire.
- 10:49Speaker 4: On the end of it.
- 10:50Speaker 5: This is amazing, yeah, and like we had it's like
- 10:52Speaker 5: a vivid memory that's just come back and Dad lighting
- 10:54Speaker 5: fire weeks for the first time. It was and obviously
- 10:57Speaker 5: is like a core memory now that I can recall.
- 11:00Speaker 3: All.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Maybe I'm pro fireworks as well. So Jace, you used
- 11:03Speaker 2: to chill on.
- 11:03Speaker 4: The whole thing.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Man.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I remember my childhood and my first experience, So that
- 11:09Speaker 3: was ninety ninety five. And what my first experience of
- 11:16Speaker 3: fireworks I'm talking about not how old I was. Yeah, right,
- 11:20Speaker 3: as a child, I found them frightening, right, and you know,
- 11:27Speaker 3: I just had They had to put me to bed
- 11:28Speaker 3: because I was upset, right, Yeah, is true.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Nah, Actually they.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Were great and I love them, especially your double happies,
- 11:36Speaker 3: your tom thumbs, all that sort of stuff.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 3: We used to have wars chucking them at each other.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Yeah, and so it is a bit tricky because it
- 11:43Speaker 4: is I guess it is for the kids, right. If
- 11:44Speaker 4: you're doing it as an adult, then you know, grow up.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Thanks mate.
- 11:48Speaker 5: I actually do remember as well, when I think it
- 11:50Speaker 5: might have been about four years old or something. We're
- 11:51Speaker 5: at the stock cars, oh and totally watching the stock
- 11:54Speaker 5: cars there, and they lit off some fireworks and I
- 11:58Speaker 5: ran behind the hot dog van and hid and oh yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 5: my whole family had to go home early.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yes, So there's another core memory. But you've got dozens
- 12:07Speaker 4: of core memories like that.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, didn't you Exma flare up as well?
- 12:12Speaker 1: Did the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 12:18Speaker 1: hod Iky the Food.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Fighters there on the radio Oh Rocky Big Show this
- 12:22Speaker 3: Wednesday afternoon. The time is four thirty six now, Alison.
- 12:25Speaker 3: We're hitting them to summer. And one of the features
- 12:27Speaker 3: of summer is, particularly if you love your cricket, particularly
- 12:30Speaker 3: if you love your sport, is the Black Clash that
- 12:33Speaker 3: goes on on the eighteenth of January at Hagley Oval
- 12:36Speaker 3: and christ Church there. It's one of the don't miss
- 12:39Speaker 3: sort of sporting occasions, isn't it, Phair.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I'd call it unmissible.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Unmissible man, yeah, I would say.
- 12:44Speaker 5: If someone mentioned it to me, I said, you cannot
- 12:46Speaker 5: miss it, totally, do not miss it. It is of
- 12:50Speaker 5: course the Hot Spring spa T twenty Black Clash in
- 12:52Speaker 5: association with Wolfbrook. They chop and change between Todunger and
- 12:56Speaker 5: christ Church. They do next year it will be christ
- 12:58Speaker 5: Church on the eighteenth there and were giving away not
- 13:01Speaker 5: only tickets to go to the event and also to
- 13:04Speaker 5: sit in the acc Export ultra party zone. You will
- 13:07Speaker 5: have flights for you and a mate. You would have
- 13:09Speaker 5: accommodation for you and a mate at the Novatawel down there.
- 13:12Speaker 5: You will get to go and experience a couple of
- 13:14Speaker 5: adrenaline rush style christ Church attractions. You get it right
- 13:17Speaker 5: on the tram, one of them being the tram How
- 13:20Speaker 5: good you go on the tram Wow?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Just for a wee bit wow?
- 13:24Speaker 5: You know, just because you don't want to overwhelm you,
- 13:26Speaker 5: you don't get to go to the hot pools out
- 13:27Speaker 5: and you brighten there on the beach, which.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Is a beautiful spot. Adrenaline.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Well, that's the thing. You just want to chill out
- 13:34Speaker 5: after that, heart would be exactly. And to top it
- 13:39Speaker 5: all off, yes, you get to come along to the
- 13:40Speaker 5: Black Class. You get to be in the acc Export
- 13:42Speaker 5: Ultra party zone and for the first innings you get
- 13:45Speaker 5: to sit in a hot spring spa hot tub wow
- 13:47Speaker 5: with old Mogi and it's burnt meat patties.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Yeah, met patties.
- 13:51Speaker 2: So that's pretty damn exciting.
- 13:52Speaker 5: If you are keen to enter this hodak you dot
- 13:54Speaker 5: co dot and ZID get amongst it there, fellers, yesterday
- 13:58Speaker 5: I mentioned I booked tickets right change the date.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Yeah, by accident. This is for your overseas trip to CA. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 4: going on Boxing Day. But you're bagging it up and
- 14:10Speaker 4: you bought them on Christmas Day. There's a way to
- 14:12Speaker 4: make your wife choose between her family and you. Well
- 14:14Speaker 4: that's what you guys were sort of angling towards. So
- 14:17Speaker 4: I doubled down on it. Good, I rang up. I
- 14:20Speaker 4: got them changed, relieving Christmas Eve. Now, yeah, that's because
- 14:23Speaker 4: I was thinking Christmas Day if we leave, If we
- 14:25Speaker 4: left that date, she'd still get to experience a lot
- 14:28Speaker 4: of the stuff in the morning. Sure, Whereas if I
- 14:31Speaker 4: got Christmas Eve, she wrote.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Into experience any family contact whatsoever. No, that's good man.
- 14:38Speaker 2: So it cost me. It cost me eight hundred bucks.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Her because it's coming out of her money exactly. Yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 4: because you.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Spend all your fine account on your little motorbike. There,
- 14:48Speaker 3: didn't you put.
- 14:49Speaker 2: A little in front of her. That's a proper sized motorbike.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Seven what was it seven k or something?
- 14:53Speaker 2: No, it was it seven k.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Don't be ridiculous, right, So it was eight hundred bucks
- 14:58Speaker 5: used to change?
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yeah, bike eight each to change and now we're going
- 15:03Speaker 4: to sleep.
- 15:04Speaker 5: So wow, that was a substantial change. Yes, So thank
- 15:07Speaker 5: you heaps for the advice, fellas.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well, and you know the reality of it is
- 15:13Speaker 3: you've separated her from her friends now and your and
- 15:16Speaker 3: your family. You know, I was very pessimistic about your marriage,
- 15:21Speaker 3: but I'm very hopeful for you now, Keezy. You've got
- 15:24Speaker 3: the tracker on her phone of course, so you know
- 15:28Speaker 3: it's going on. Great guns for you.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing. I think you're right.
- 15:31Speaker 5: I would have crumbled if you guys hadn't given me
- 15:32Speaker 5: such great advice. And I just do hope that she
- 15:35Speaker 5: does choose going on holiday with me over spending time
- 15:37Speaker 5: with her entire family, including like her elderly grandparents and stuff.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yeah, she has to now because she's spent another sixteen
- 15:44Speaker 3: hundred bucks.
- 15:44Speaker 2: That's a fun account, that's right. So you're not going
- 15:46Speaker 2: to blow that on family, no, exactly. So problem resolved.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Yeah, man, good stuff. You're a backbone.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Such a backbone, Keezy. It's Bacy Boysy.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 16:03Speaker 3: And Keisy Oasis there on the radio Hot Larky Big
- 16:07Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday afternoon. The time is twelve minutes to

- 16:18Speaker 3: hard work you guys putting on this show. I know

- 16:24Speaker 3: the listeners out there.
- 16:26Speaker 4: We do jays. Thank you, you know, and I know.
- 16:29Speaker 3: That you know you both have been having terrible sleeps
- 16:32Speaker 3: because of the pressure of the show and wanting to
- 16:35Speaker 3: deliver the very best show we can. And I see
- 16:38Speaker 3: it in you backbones, the amount of effort that you
- 16:40Speaker 3: put in, how you coming here full of energy and
- 16:45Speaker 3: all of that sort of stuff. And I thought to myself,
- 16:48Speaker 3: what can I do, What can I do for the
- 16:50Speaker 3: Fellers to show that appreciated.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Well, I think what you've just done is enough for me.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I mean that's enough for me.
- 16:55Speaker 4: For more.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Oh, you are absolutely And I'm you know, because I
- 16:58Speaker 3: think I think you know, I'm a pretty generous Feller.
- 17:03Speaker 2: What do you mean, Are you gonna make a joke
- 17:04Speaker 2: about being generously endowed down?
- 17:06Speaker 4: No? No, I think.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'm a pretty generous fuel in what way? Well, I'm
- 17:12Speaker 3: just very giving, not very giving.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Oh, No, that's right, because he refuses to donate to
- 17:16Speaker 5: that charity we're involved with every year.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Because it's three dollars.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I'm talking about us here, Fellers, not charities. All right now, listen,
- 17:26Speaker 3: I had a bit of a treat for you because
- 17:28Speaker 3: I know you love your music, don't you. You love
- 17:30Speaker 3: your music.
- 17:31Speaker 5: I could take it or leave it, to be honest, really, no,
- 17:34Speaker 5: I love music. I'm working radio, you know.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 17:36Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, sure chill, isn't that. I've recently changed my
- 17:40Speaker 3: plan on Spotify and I've changed it to a family plan, right,
- 17:48Speaker 3: and thinking that I get all my family on it
- 17:51Speaker 3: and a couple of me girls there they're like, no, no,
- 17:54Speaker 3: no things all good?
- 17:55Speaker 4: Oh gee, So.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I've got two slots left and howdy J. Spotify family
- 18:02Speaker 3: plan and Fellers, I'd like.
- 18:05Speaker 4: You to have them, right wow? Okay, so you've got
- 18:08Speaker 4: something for free there and you want to.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Well, I mean it's free for you fellas.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Oh howdy J.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Will fop the bill obviously?
- 18:15Speaker 4: What's that like?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Twenty bucks a month?
- 18:17Speaker 3: About nineteen? But I just want to give you guys
- 18:21Speaker 3: the opportunity so you don't have to pay anything to Spotify.
- 18:24Speaker 3: You just go on hoodie Jay's please.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Why hang on? Why though?
- 18:26Speaker 5: Because I know that you don't just do stuff like this.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Yeah. My only question would be what's in it for you?
- 18:32Speaker 3: Yeah, seeing you guys happy, rewarding your hard work, you know,
- 18:37Speaker 3: giving you encouragement so that we keep doing the best
- 18:40Speaker 3: radio show in the country, all of that stuff. And
- 18:43Speaker 3: because I know, you know, life's tough at the moment
- 18:45Speaker 3: for people, and I just want to give you something
- 18:48Speaker 3: that you can enjoy for free and just take a
- 18:51Speaker 3: bit of financi because I know you've totally blown your
- 18:55Speaker 3: your fun account Keezy and Mogi, I know you're under
- 18:58Speaker 3: the gun, mate, I'm under the You've got lots of outgoings,
- 19:02Speaker 3: and it just is just my way of giving back.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Can I just say that my music account, my Spotify
- 19:07Speaker 5: account is it doesn't come into my fun account. It
- 19:10Speaker 5: comes out of my passion account. Because you know I've
- 19:12Speaker 5: got certain things we're passionate about.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Well, this is the thing that you can just shut
- 19:15Speaker 3: that down, not pay a cent, and old hardy J
- 19:17Speaker 3: will The one.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Thing I'm concerned about is I don't want to be
- 19:19Speaker 5: in any way connected to you and your terrible throbber choices.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Well, I mean there is a thing where you can
- 19:24Speaker 3: merge your playlists and stuff, and we can perhaps do
- 19:27Speaker 3: a bit of swatzeas.
- 19:28Speaker 2: So you want to access to our throbber plant.
- 19:31Speaker 3: But you know it's just an offer. I mean, you
- 19:33Speaker 3: know you guys, I mean pug Sons Caen. Look at
- 19:35Speaker 3: he's he's shocked that I haven't offered it to him.
- 19:38Speaker 3: And actually I'll give you some cash instead, Pugs of that?
- 19:40Speaker 3: All right, mate, I mean I'm all good, Okay.
- 19:45Speaker 4: It sounds like a lot of Edmond. How do we
- 19:47Speaker 4: sort of do it?
- 19:48Speaker 3: So it's really easy. I send you a link, your
- 19:49Speaker 3: click on it, and then that comes back to me
- 19:53Speaker 3: and I can sort it from the field.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I think what he's doing is like invite some mates
- 19:58Speaker 2: to join up and.
- 19:58Speaker 4: You get to get free free man.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Is that what's going on here?
- 20:01Speaker 4: No?
- 20:01Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 20:04Speaker 2: No, that's way too many, that's five.
- 20:06Speaker 7: No.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah, It's just something I wanted to do for you.
- 20:10Speaker 3: You don't have to decide now. I'll send you the links.
- 20:13Speaker 3: You can click it or don't click it is okay,
- 20:15Speaker 3: it's all g by me.
- 20:16Speaker 4: All right, all right, thank you, Thank you, very generous
- 20:19Speaker 4: of you. It's not like you at all, which is
- 20:20Speaker 4: why I'm so suspicious. Can I jump on your Disney
- 20:23Speaker 4: Plus account because I don't have that.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Actually you probably can, Kisy just don't remember the past
- 20:27Speaker 3: where that's all.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Hong k Win three Eyes to the Front, four twenty.
- 20:34Speaker 3: He's Tom Petty for.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Darchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey List.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Indeed, Tom Pitty there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 20:43Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon, coming up after five o'clock, A big
- 20:46Speaker 3: show on prov And if you've got any scenarios that
- 20:49Speaker 3: you'd like us to do in this particular improv, I
- 20:52Speaker 3: text them through on three four eight three.
- 20:54Speaker 5: That's right this week, I believe Hoity j and I
- 20:57Speaker 5: will be acting it out. So if you do send
- 20:58Speaker 5: through a scenario, we want like a place, a premise
- 21:01Speaker 5: and a character for me to play in a character
- 21:03Speaker 5: for Hoody Jada, And you.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Can pump that through on the talk back set up
- 21:07Speaker 4: on iHeartRadio as well. They're just pushing a little microphone
- 21:09Speaker 4: there and dear, we'll have a listen.
- 21:11Speaker 5: It's right everyone that sends something through. By the way,
- 21:13Speaker 5: and the drawer for a toy prize pack.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Yere so Kezy has yet another ethical dilemma.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't have heaps of ethical dilemma. I just
- 21:22Speaker 5: have dilemmas. This one is an ethical dilemma though, sure, okay,
- 21:26Speaker 5: all that after five.
- 21:30Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Ike here, welcome back here, massive Backbones. You're listening to
- 21:37Speaker 3: the Big Show.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Poor you we get it in, Get it in. Haven't
- 21:43Speaker 4: been on it?
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:44Speaker 4: Yeah, so I haven't been.
- 21:45Speaker 3: That's all in celebration of been bringing back the famous
- 21:48Speaker 3: toy billboard fellas.
- 21:49Speaker 2: What of those?
- 21:50Speaker 4: Mate? I've been telling you for ages, Jason, This country
- 21:53Speaker 4: could do with a laugh, particularly on a day like this.
- 21:56Speaker 4: I know you could do with a laugh today, mate,
- 21:57Speaker 4: Look at you and sad sack.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not mean to try and make you laugh.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Jay. It's a very very very grim day for humanity today.
- 22:08Speaker 3: But I'm not going to go into it.
- 22:10Speaker 2: You go on, want to make you laugh?
- 22:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's good stuff, mate, Yeah, hang on, what's coming
- 22:18Speaker 4: up to say?
- 22:21Speaker 3: Have a little thing about what you're gonna make me
- 22:22Speaker 3: laugh with and I'll tell you what's coming up. We've
- 22:25Speaker 3: got some big show improv. By the way, if you've
- 22:27Speaker 3: got scenarios that you want us to play out, give
- 22:29Speaker 3: a roll to Keysy you roller old Hoody Ja Texas
- 22:32Speaker 3: three for eight three. They're pouring in and Keysy has
- 22:35Speaker 3: another ethical dilemma where.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Explain no idea what it is.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And also I want to know the politics of trees
- 22:46Speaker 3: growing over your property and whether or not you can
- 22:49Speaker 3: or can't cut said trees.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Right, that sounds good, Hordi sounds to me like muscless
- 22:54Speaker 5: and radio totally. And speaking of green Day, you waiting
- 23:00Speaker 5: for your joke you meant to make you laugh?
- 23:02Speaker 3: Man, oh.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Butt and mushroom, damn it.
- 23:08Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And Keiseyde she had there on the radio Hodache Big
- 23:16Speaker 3: Show eleve a minutes past five o'clock.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Feelers my wife's away At the moment she touchdown back
- 23:23Speaker 5: in Auckland, I think at about two pm a pilot. No,
- 23:27Speaker 5: but she was on a plane which was driven by
- 23:29Speaker 5: a pilot. Movie, Oh yeah, yeah, is driven?
- 23:33Speaker 4: Okay?
- 23:35Speaker 2: To be fair, it was piloted by a pilot. How
- 23:38Speaker 2: would I like to say?
- 23:39Speaker 5: Anyway, So she touched out about two By that stage
- 23:41Speaker 5: I already left. But I decided this morning to take
- 23:44Speaker 5: advantage of the fact that she is not here and
- 23:48Speaker 5: get outside with the old hedge tremor and the clippers
- 23:51Speaker 5: and all that and trim back. We've got this big
- 23:53Speaker 5: fence with some ivy growing on it. Trim all the
- 23:56Speaker 5: ivy back and stuff, and then also get out the
- 23:59Speaker 5: what are the really long cuddy the really long cuddy things.
- 24:03Speaker 4: She's the really long one when you reach up and
- 24:07Speaker 4: you can get branches.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Actually, I might need to borrow that the long handled
- 24:10Speaker 3: secret tears.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll get.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Into that off here.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Man.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Sure, no, you can't, by the way.
- 24:16Speaker 5: So I decided to take advantage of the fact that
- 24:19Speaker 5: not only was she not home, my neighbors went home
- 24:21Speaker 5: and they have a backyard that backs onto ours that
- 24:24Speaker 5: is just straight up overgrown. They don't care. Actually, I
- 24:26Speaker 5: imagine that's kind of what your backyard look.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Like, Jason Well sitting parts of it's he sure, that's fair.
- 24:30Speaker 5: That's right, because I've got a way larger backyard than us,
- 24:32Speaker 5: and it's hard to keep on top of everything. Their
- 24:34Speaker 5: trees grow over our fins. Yes, block a lot of
- 24:37Speaker 5: light into our house, and there's all sorts of weird
- 24:42Speaker 5: vines and stuff growing over. So I jumped the fence,
- 24:45Speaker 5: pulled out all these rugged vines, and I know they
- 24:47Speaker 5: don't care about and also on my side, cut a
- 24:50Speaker 5: whole lot of branches off of the trees, all of
- 24:52Speaker 5: which we're hanging over into my property.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the deal with that? Do you reckon?
- 24:57Speaker 3: Is that?
- 24:57Speaker 4: Okay?
- 24:58Speaker 3: Look, I've got the very similar scenari where my neighbour's
- 25:02Speaker 3: trees are growing very much over my property, and I
- 25:05Speaker 3: know that if I prone them, you get me old
- 25:07Speaker 3: chainsaw out and prune them Alike, I'd like to off
- 25:11Speaker 3: my property, they'd probably kill the trees. And I've had
- 25:14Speaker 3: that same dilemma. It's also complicated by the fact that
- 25:17Speaker 3: I have this massive oak tree at the back of
- 25:19Speaker 3: my tree, back of my house and property that's about
- 25:23Speaker 3: to fall on their house. So I don't want to
- 25:25Speaker 3: sort of provoke them into anything. You know what, you're
- 25:28Speaker 3: going to do anything about that, But I genuinely don't
- 25:30Speaker 3: know what the morals what you do in that situation.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Whether you're entitled to go, yes, I'm going to slice
- 25:37Speaker 3: off all that tree because it's growing over my property.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Anything that is on your side of the fence, you
- 25:41Speaker 4: are able to you can cut. Yes, I do think
- 25:44Speaker 4: it's on your side of the fence. But the way
- 25:45Speaker 4: that the way to do it, and I mean, you know,
- 25:49Speaker 4: it's probably pretty crazy. Idea is going to have a conversation.
- 25:53Speaker 4: What go and have a conversation with your neighbors. And
- 25:56Speaker 4: I had to do them. I've had to do that
- 25:57Speaker 4: before as well. And went over there and say, look man,
- 26:00Speaker 4: And this was when I had that place that had
- 26:02Speaker 4: the pool, and he had a couple of trees that
- 26:05Speaker 4: every leaf was falling into my pool rented property. By
- 26:08Speaker 4: the way, I was still going to court with the
- 26:10Speaker 4: landlord trying to get my bond back. Good time. I'll
- 26:12Speaker 4: keep you updated there feels. But yeah, we just chopped
- 26:16Speaker 4: he said, I hate that tree as well, So we
- 26:18Speaker 4: cut it back to a nub. We cut it back
- 26:21Speaker 4: all the way back to a nub, and he paid
- 26:23Speaker 4: half the bill. I've got a numberist.
- 26:24Speaker 2: See that's great, that's really nice.
- 26:26Speaker 4: You like that.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Yeah, but I know for a fact that this property
- 26:29Speaker 5: that backs onto ours is just a massive it's out west.
- 26:31Speaker 5: It's a big one of those big old properties of
- 26:33Speaker 5: a just plunker house sort of at the front of it,
- 26:34Speaker 5: and then it just has a giant backyard.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 2: They're probably in their seventies. Sure, they don't care.
- 26:39Speaker 4: How do you know? Have you spoken to them so
- 26:41Speaker 4: you know they don't care? No, I know that they
- 26:42Speaker 4: want to get something done, But you know they just
- 26:44Speaker 4: need a fine, young, keen sort of fellow whose community
- 26:48Speaker 4: minded and wouldn't mind getting over the fence there and
- 26:50Speaker 4: helping them out a little bit. Because God knows he
- 26:51Speaker 4: doesn't do God knows he doesn't do anything all day. Mogi.
- 26:55Speaker 5: It's hard enough keeping my yard in order, all right,
- 26:58Speaker 5: And that's what I was trying to do. So I
- 26:59Speaker 5: get out there. I trimmed them back. They haven't noticed.
- 27:02Speaker 5: I don't think I'd have no idea because I'm not
- 27:03Speaker 5: certainly not going to talking to them. That would be bizarre. Ye,
- 27:07Speaker 5: hang on a sick. I thought I was about to sneeze.
- 27:11Speaker 5: So I've cut it back a we But I think
- 27:13Speaker 5: it looks fine. I've taken the branches, put them on
- 27:16Speaker 5: my side of the property, and we've got a little
- 27:17Speaker 5: branch pile that I sought out at some stage.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I haven't thrown them onto their side or anything. Wall
- 27:21Speaker 2: I like that. Do you think that's okay?
- 27:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's okay. You see the dilemma I
- 27:25Speaker 3: have in terms of talking with my neighbor, is that
- 27:27Speaker 3: I think one of them, my neighbor's six, truly attracted
- 27:31Speaker 3: to me. Yeah, I don't want to open up that
- 27:35Speaker 3: whole can of worms, so we don't check.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Well, we've got a couple of things going on here, Kyzy.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I would say you have got an issue because you've
- 27:41Speaker 4: trespassed on their property and they can do you for it,
- 27:44Speaker 4: and in fact I hadn't carriage them to Jason. You've
- 27:46Speaker 4: got a problem where you've got a tree hanging over
- 27:48Speaker 4: a neighbor's house, where it's on the brink of falling
- 27:50Speaker 4: over and crushing people, and actually people's lives are at rest,
- 27:53Speaker 4: but you don't want to spend three grand I'm sorting
- 27:58Speaker 4: it out. So both of you have got something that
- 28:00Speaker 4: need to be sorting out here. Jacentry has been hanging
- 28:02Speaker 4: over that house for at least three years, as long
- 28:03Speaker 4: as we've been doing the show. At some point it
- 28:06Speaker 4: will happen. There will be a record of it on
- 28:08Speaker 4: the radio. I worry for your safety. You will be
- 28:10Speaker 4: put in jail, and I don't want you being made
- 28:12Speaker 4: somebody else's bitch in the slammer, because that is exactly
- 28:16Speaker 4: what will happen.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I'm open to that.
- 28:18Speaker 1: The hod Aky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 28:22Speaker 1: and Keysy.
- 28:23Speaker 3: We am there on the radio Hodo remember this Wednesday,
- 28:28Speaker 3: and the time is twenty four minutes past five o'clock
- 28:32Speaker 3: and it's a Wednesday, which means it's time for this.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Oh why sounds free lines, camera actionly No, it's time
- 28:42Speaker 3: for the Big show prog.
- 28:45Speaker 4: This is exciting. It is Yeah. Every now and again,
- 28:48Speaker 4: you know, you sort of come up with an idea
- 28:52Speaker 4: and it just takes off. We've been doing this for
- 28:56Speaker 4: a few months now, and as soon as we asked
- 28:58Speaker 4: that our listeners out there to provide us with some
- 29:00Speaker 4: ideas to do these improvs here, scenarios, scenarios, they just
- 29:06Speaker 4: explode the text, flooding in on three, absolutely pouring in.
- 29:10Speaker 4: So that's how we know that people absolutely love it.
- 29:14Speaker 4: They do so what we got the reason why we
- 29:16Speaker 4: started doing this was because Kezy is represented by Jase
- 29:20Speaker 4: Jason's agent as an actor. Keysy's getting nothing out there,
- 29:23Speaker 4: so we thought this is the closest we can get
- 29:25Speaker 4: to a proper workshopping. Sure, and you know who better
- 29:29Speaker 4: than to do it with. In two of New Zealand's
- 29:31Speaker 4: leading dramatic actors, Hoody Jay myself. So today's scenario is, well,
- 29:39Speaker 4: it's topical and the caller the text pointed us out today, Kezy,
- 29:45Speaker 4: you're going to be you're at home. You're going over
- 29:48Speaker 4: to see your next door neighbor because you're concerned that
- 29:51Speaker 4: his massive oak tree, which is about eighty foot in
- 29:54Speaker 4: the air, it's sort of hanging over your house and
- 29:57Speaker 4: threatens to crush the entire thing. So you're going over
- 30:01Speaker 4: there to have a yarn with them and just see
- 30:02Speaker 4: if it's okay if you go halves on on chopping
- 30:06Speaker 4: the bastard down there. Of course, howly Jay, you're going
- 30:09Speaker 4: to be the next door neighbor there, and you you
- 30:12Speaker 4: know you haven't got much money. We'll put it that.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Way, okay, right, kind of neighbor as easy.
- 30:17Speaker 4: And determine that that's right. It's all improvised.
- 30:23Speaker 5: I'll start jaspy. I'm knocking on the door, right, okay, alright,
- 30:26Speaker 5: here we go.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Hello, is anybody home? Hello?
- 30:42Speaker 4: You're at the wrong house, man, it's the house on
- 30:44Speaker 4: the other side.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yeah, wondering what you're doing there?
- 30:48Speaker 2: Okay, I'm just walking over to the other Can you please.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Sorry, I'm just in the shower. Just give me a minute.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Okay, I can come back later if you want. Okay, Well, actually,
- 31:08Speaker 2: I mean it's actually a pressing math. It's actually a
- 31:12Speaker 2: pressing matter.
- 31:13Speaker 3: And look, if you could come back later that it'd
- 31:15Speaker 3: be great. So the shower, champoo and so forth. In
- 31:19Speaker 3: my hair.
- 31:19Speaker 5: Well, you seem to be able to hear me. Why
- 31:21Speaker 5: don't we just have the conversation like this.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Oh?
- 31:23Speaker 3: Look, I don't like shouting, and I can't really hear
- 31:25Speaker 3: because the water's passing into my ear drums. Here, Look,
- 31:28Speaker 3: if you can come back later on the afternoon, we're
- 31:30Speaker 3: gonna have a chit chat whatever it might be.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Who's knocking on the door, babe?
- 31:34Speaker 3: Oh I know, I think it's that neighbor guy.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Sorry, is that your wife?
- 31:37Speaker 2: Maybe I could talk to her.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Oh no, she talk to me.
- 31:41Speaker 3: She's in the shower with me.
- 31:42Speaker 4: No, school, you'll have to talk to my husband. I
- 31:45Speaker 4: don't know anything.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, okay, are you sure? It seems like you
- 31:50Speaker 2: can hear me.
- 31:51Speaker 3: If you could just come back later, that be sweet.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Airs.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I just think that's for the purpose of what we're
- 31:55Speaker 2: doing right now. If you were to just have the.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Co bro, shut you shut that. I'm sorry made the
- 32:04Speaker 3: dogs just going zacks.
- 32:06Speaker 4: I thought you were talking to me, babe.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Oh no, I never speak to you like that, doll.
- 32:10Speaker 4: That's not true. He does.
- 32:12Speaker 5: Are you sure I can't just speak to your wife?
- 32:14Speaker 5: I men, it seems weird that I'm not allowed like that.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Seems like pretty weird.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Well, like I say, my cheese in the shower with me.
- 32:20Speaker 4: So I'm trying to watch us here. Yeah, well someone's
- 32:23Speaker 4: got to what's what's the manna?
- 32:26Speaker 2: I was just saying, I live in the house next doore.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Oh we know that already.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Get on with it, man, Yeah, could you coach your
- 32:31Speaker 3: kittens when you're making love? By the way, I'm sick
- 32:33Speaker 3: and tired of seeing your naked eyes hammering away.
- 32:38Speaker 5: I just, I just I can work on that if
- 32:42Speaker 5: maybe you guys can return serve We But just a
- 32:45Speaker 5: giant oak tree there is hanging over my house, and
- 32:47Speaker 5: I've just noticed it's really started to lean quite a
- 32:49Speaker 5: lot recently.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I'm just worried it's gonna flatten my house.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Could do what I have to say? I had to
- 32:54Speaker 4: say that, what's your name?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Chris?
- 32:57Speaker 4: Chris had to say Chris, Mother nature No.
- 33:00Speaker 5: I know Mother nature and it's fear players work, get it.
- 33:02Speaker 5: But it's just it's on your property. The other way
- 33:04Speaker 5: I put it is it's God's will.
- 33:06Speaker 3: No, do you believe in God, Chris?
- 33:09Speaker 4: Not?
- 33:09Speaker 7: Really?
- 33:10Speaker 6: You should?
- 33:11Speaker 4: You should? So what hell have you not got a
- 33:13Speaker 4: relationship with Jesus?
- 33:14Speaker 5: I think it would be a pretty Christian thing for
- 33:16Speaker 5: you guys to do.
- 33:17Speaker 2: To just come and have a chat with me about this.
- 33:19Speaker 2: We can solve it now.
- 33:19Speaker 4: It sounded really unauthentic.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Absolutely, as I say, lad, if you can come back later.
- 33:24Speaker 4: On the Harbo after.
- 33:26Speaker 3: We finished the show, we'll have a cap of Tina
- 33:28Speaker 3: chit chat.
- 33:28Speaker 2: All right, Okay, fine, how long is the shower going
- 33:31Speaker 2: to take?
- 33:31Speaker 3: About four hours?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Of the Hodiking Big Show.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Podcast, Mattella is here on the radio Hodaki Big Show
- 33:37Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Now.
- 33:40Speaker 3: The Swingers Club, it's the club that's been formed by
- 33:44Speaker 3: the Big Show. Fellows. If you love your golf, you
- 33:47Speaker 3: have love having a bit of a tank, you need
- 33:49Speaker 3: to listen up to this stuff.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Is that where I come in?
- 33:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and I could do it if you want. I
- 33:54Speaker 4: just worry making because you don't actually like golf. No,
- 33:58Speaker 4: it's only I just don't like playing it or watching it.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Been around it that I'm into it. I watched the
- 34:03Speaker 4: Masters highlight, yeah who was on the news. But outside
- 34:09Speaker 4: of that, yeah.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Well look, Jason and I to be honest, Jason has
- 34:12Speaker 5: been banging on about getting into golf for a couple
- 34:14Speaker 5: of years now. Finally got around to geting himself some clubs.
- 34:16Speaker 5: I know you guys have been, you know, playing for
- 34:17Speaker 5: a couple of months now. You've had one game, We've
- 34:20Speaker 5: had two games of nine holes aka one game that
- 34:24Speaker 5: is a four round, four round, which one although it
- 34:28Speaker 5: was hips playing up, has given.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Him really is it's weird.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Have you got a dicky hip?
- 34:34Speaker 3: Not usually?
- 34:35Speaker 4: No, what were you doing nothing?
- 34:37Speaker 3: Nothing?
- 34:38Speaker 4: Have you ever had a dicky hip? No? Have you
- 34:40Speaker 4: ever had a hippie dick? Yes?
- 34:45Speaker 5: So the Big Show Swingers Club has started up. It's
- 34:49Speaker 5: basically it's it's an excuse for me and Hoidy, j
- 34:54Speaker 5: and Pugsard and Mogi. If he's into it.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Yeah, and I do want to get into it.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Yeah that is. It's a great thing to get into.
- 34:59Speaker 5: But we want to go and play some of the
- 35:01Speaker 5: best courses in New zeal We want golf, carts, drinks, food,
- 35:04Speaker 5: all that provided will then do the show from the
- 35:07Speaker 5: clubhouse afterwards, which is pretty cool, and we want four
- 35:10Speaker 5: of you to come and join us for a day
- 35:12Speaker 5: of golf and the big show as well. If you
- 35:14Speaker 5: are keen, head to Hodaki dot co dot MZ yourself
- 35:17Speaker 5: from the drawer there. We are going to be calling
- 35:19Speaker 5: the winners this Monday, right because we are teeing off
- 35:22Speaker 5: next week, which is pretty exciting, and we're playing at
- 35:25Speaker 5: middy Way Golf Links on Auckland's stunning West Coast.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Really nice course. I've always wanted to play there, so
- 35:30Speaker 2: that's good.
- 35:30Speaker 4: I reckon it's the sort of thing I do want
- 35:32Speaker 4: to get into because I feel like I could do
- 35:34Speaker 4: with a bit of golf in my life. I feel
- 35:35Speaker 4: like I could do with the walk, yes, But for me,
- 35:38Speaker 4: I think I'll probably just have to go out and
- 35:40Speaker 4: get lessons, right, and then once I've got a few
- 35:44Speaker 4: lessons and I can go out and actually enjoy it,
- 35:45Speaker 4: because I won't enjoy just it would be an absolute debacle. Yes,
- 35:49Speaker 4: I've got a few issues. One of the issues is
- 35:51Speaker 4: I haven't played for over twenty years and I've probably
- 35:54Speaker 4: played four rounds in my entire life. Yes, right, so
- 35:57Speaker 4: that's not great. The other thing is I'm blind in
- 35:59Speaker 4: my left eye as discussed, so when I take position
- 36:02Speaker 4: over the ball and then I hit the ball, the
- 36:06Speaker 4: left eye is the eye that picks up where the
- 36:09Speaker 4: ball is going when you look up right. So because
- 36:11Speaker 4: I'm a blind in that eye, I've got no idea
- 36:13Speaker 4: where the ball So I can have an amazing shot
- 36:16Speaker 4: which I never have, and I can't see where it is,
- 36:19Speaker 4: so I can enjoy the winds because every time I
- 36:22Speaker 4: hit the ball and I've just got no idea, So
- 36:24Speaker 4: I need somebody to stand behind me then come in
- 36:26Speaker 4: and tell me where it is, yes, which kind of
- 36:29Speaker 4: just drains any enjoyment out of it that you can
- 36:31Speaker 4: possibly hear.
- 36:32Speaker 3: That makes sense, That makes sense because like I'll play
- 36:35Speaker 3: four good shots in around, yeah, and that makes all
- 36:39Speaker 3: the other that will make all the other fifty five
- 36:42Speaker 3: bad shots. Yeah, that's what you're coming back exactly.
- 36:47Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 36:47Speaker 5: To be honest, even having lessons, you're still not going
- 36:50Speaker 5: to be able to walk out there and oh no,
- 36:52Speaker 5: no no, But I'm talking about like I don't even
- 36:55Speaker 5: know how to hold the club, you know, And that
- 36:58Speaker 5: is key. I think that just having somebody tell you
- 37:01Speaker 5: this is how you hold the club.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Actually I need too, Yeah, because I don't do the
- 37:06Speaker 3: link of the fingers there like you do. Keysy.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Yeah cool.
- 37:08Speaker 5: I feel like we're really selling the Swingers Club to
- 37:12Speaker 5: hold the clubs properly.
- 37:13Speaker 2: But if you want to come and play, somebody's the
- 37:15Speaker 2: nicest course.
- 37:16Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, with a bunch of absolute weapons.
- 37:18Speaker 2: This is a real stupid idea. Hodik dot co dots.
- 37:22Speaker 2: You get yourself in the drawer.
- 37:23Speaker 3: There, beautiful mewd away next week a yeah, keen.
- 37:30Speaker 1: The hdiche Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 37:34Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodike.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Lolocome back your massive backbones. You are listening to the
- 37:38Speaker 3: Big Show, brought to you by two We.
- 37:40Speaker 7: Get it, get it inside, you get it in you Hey,
- 37:46Speaker 7: question for your fellas, was I wearing a jersey when
- 37:50Speaker 7: I came in today?
- 37:51Speaker 2: You weren't when you came out of the b y c.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Okay, that's hey. Listen to the podcast outro was just
- 37:58Speaker 3: our warm up to the show, and we put it
- 38:01Speaker 3: out in podcasts form and the podcast numbers came out today.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Yeah, biggest in the world again.
- 38:06Speaker 4: Yeah, unbelievable. Numbers in fact, actually unbelievable. They've been reviewed.
- 38:12Speaker 4: I just got an email about they've been reviewed because
- 38:14Speaker 4: I seem too high.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Seriously.
- 38:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just jealousy though, Yeah, trying to take us
- 38:20Speaker 4: down a pig or two men.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Yeah, politics, good luck with that. What were we chatting
- 38:25Speaker 3: about today, Keezy?
- 38:26Speaker 5: I assume you were off on some sort of tangent
- 38:29Speaker 5: because today's Clipper is just called racist.
- 38:31Speaker 4: There was another dud. The thing about it is, Jason,
- 38:35Speaker 4: is that you love it when they put the little
- 38:37Speaker 4: English subtitles on the foods at the Asian supermarkets. But
- 38:41Speaker 4: as soon as they put like moldy names on streets
- 38:44Speaker 4: and all that sort of thing, you can blow up.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Yeah, everyone should go and listen to that, and you
- 38:56Speaker 5: just search Hoduky Big show where you get your podcasts from,
- 38:59Speaker 5: comes out every day, so ten to fifteen minutes, and
- 39:01Speaker 5: Puck Sun also does a best of the days, a
- 39:04Speaker 5: highlights package of the day's radio show too.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah, great stuff, pretty good stuff.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Yeah. So today it was just me accusing Jason's been
- 39:12Speaker 4: a massive racist and then laughing like a psychopath at
- 39:14Speaker 4: my own joke sort of for about ten minutes.
- 39:16Speaker 3: You know, I joined in Yeah, I said, actually, it's
- 39:19Speaker 3: quite funny.
- 39:19Speaker 4: It was funny.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Yeah, because clearly I'm not. I mean, clearly I'm not.
- 39:25Speaker 5: I wouldn't say clearly, but I know deep down, yeah,
- 39:29Speaker 5: you're not always racist.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh god, I'm just gonna sort of stand back
- 39:39Speaker 4: from this conversation. But I don't feel comfortable.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, no, neither do I. I mean, I actually value
- 39:44Speaker 3: my career keasy, unlike some people that just showed away
- 39:49Speaker 3: with random comments on the radio.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Mate the whole actually big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 39:56Speaker 1: Minogue and.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Keyingsibly on there on the radio. Hod Big showed this
- 40:01Speaker 3: Wednesday evening. You know what, Margie, we haven't had much
- 40:05Speaker 3: gym chat. Are you still doing the gym? I feel
- 40:07Speaker 3: like you've sort of abandoned it. No, I'm still doing it. Man,
- 40:11Speaker 3: you dried up chicken breast.
- 40:12Speaker 4: No I haven't. You're right, Yeah, you're right, I haven't today,
- 40:16Speaker 4: but I'm still doing it. I had a way in
- 40:17Speaker 4: this morning, but I'm done with my bulking joshub So
- 40:21Speaker 4: now it's time to what does it get shredded for
- 40:23Speaker 4: R and V? Sure, so that should take about six weeks,
- 40:26Speaker 4: but I'm only probably going to give myself about a month.
- 40:29Speaker 4: But I've weighed in kezy, how much you can on
- 40:31Speaker 4: weighing in it? Brother, I reckon, you had weigh ninety
- 40:34Speaker 4: one ninety five kilos in it, which is the heaviest
- 40:37Speaker 4: I've ever been in my life. Wow, I've never been
- 40:40Speaker 4: so heavy. And last year I think when I did
- 40:43Speaker 4: the same thing, I came in at ninety one and
- 40:45Speaker 4: roy two and I got down to eighty one far
- 40:48Speaker 4: up on the shred, which was too much. I looked, well, yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 4: but I won a competition in five hundred bucks, so
- 40:56Speaker 4: it was worth a glory sure, and and so this
- 41:00Speaker 4: so I'm starting my sheet now, So I'm just going
- 41:02Speaker 4: to do a weekly little catch up on how much
- 41:05Speaker 4: weight I've managed to lose. But I reckon, I'll probably
- 41:07Speaker 4: only get down to about eighty seven. That's still bananas.
- 41:11Speaker 3: What that's eight Kgs's crazy? How much you wait? Easy?
- 41:18Speaker 5: I've weighed ninety slash twenty ninety slash ninety one for
- 41:22Speaker 5: the last like six seven years.
- 41:26Speaker 3: How much ninety one.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Ninety to ninety one I had? I got a real
- 41:30Speaker 5: bad flu about six No, it wouldn't been. It was
- 41:33Speaker 5: about four years ago, and I lost ten kg's right,
- 41:36Speaker 5: from three days of not being able to eat and
- 41:38Speaker 5: just sweating.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you get that back on pretty quick though.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Way I kind of bounce back, like a month later,
- 41:43Speaker 2: I was back to my normal weight.
- 41:44Speaker 3: So I don't know into the and stuff, but of course.
- 41:47Speaker 5: That's going to stop soon. Yeah, the ability to start
- 41:50Speaker 5: that way. Oh yeah, So I'm speaking to most of it.
- 41:52Speaker 5: What about you, Hordy j I'm seventy two, yes, no,
- 41:55Speaker 5: but your your weight, not your age.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Seventy two. You've been hovering around there for the you know, yeah,
- 42:04Speaker 4: you'd be sort of at an age as that where
- 42:05Speaker 4: you wait keeps on going down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because
- 42:09Speaker 4: they're sort of shrinking, an't we.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Well, when I think I told you Fellas when I
- 42:12Speaker 3: went back to the gym just recently, I was like,
- 42:14Speaker 3: I used to be seventy five and then I was
- 42:16Speaker 3: seventy and I was like, what the.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Yeah, where have you lost that from? I don't know.
- 42:21Speaker 3: I tell you where. I haven't lost it from where
- 42:26Speaker 3: I can't tell you on the radio magie.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Well, it hasn't stopped you in the past.
- 42:31Speaker 5: So but the thing with you, Jason is you walked
- 42:32Speaker 5: in today and you know where you staggered and with
- 42:35Speaker 5: your sore herp, with your dicky herp, and then you
- 42:38Speaker 5: said happy dick, with your happy dick, and you said
- 42:42Speaker 5: I haven't eaten anything to say nothing, not not anything.
- 42:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I hadn't. It's a mystery.
- 42:47Speaker 3: And then for donut, that was bad plan. That was
- 42:49Speaker 3: the whole donut.
- 42:51Speaker 4: The other interesting thing, hoody jay, and you'll know this
- 42:54Speaker 4: is that when you had about forty you start losing
- 42:56Speaker 4: one percent of your muscle mass. Yeah, and then from
- 42:59Speaker 4: forty five about one and a half to two percent
- 43:01Speaker 4: of your muscle mass every single year. So when you
- 43:03Speaker 4: see the elderly sort of walking along in there and
- 43:06Speaker 4: they're all bent over and they're struggling to drag this
- 43:08Speaker 4: skeleton around, it's because they don't have enough muscle mass
- 43:10Speaker 4: to carry that around. Yeah. So unless you want to
- 43:13Speaker 4: end up like and you have no chance of you
- 43:14Speaker 4: doing that because out a bit. Yeah, thanks man, But
- 43:17Speaker 4: that is an interesting thing, right, So eventually you're just
- 43:19Speaker 4: a skeleton with a little bit of muscle.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Well, that's what someone told me is as as you
- 43:23Speaker 3: get a don't don't worry about your fitness and all
- 43:25Speaker 3: that jazz. Just make sure you get your strength.
- 43:28Speaker 4: You keep the muscle, don't worry about musudio, keep your
- 43:30Speaker 4: muscle on.
- 43:31Speaker 3: You might have told me that, yeah, probably.
- 43:35Speaker 4: Yea cardio so yeah same. Oh guys, Hey, Jim Chat,
- 43:41Speaker 4: how good.
- 43:42Speaker 1: The Hdiarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 43:47Speaker 3: And excess there on the radio. Hold urkey big show
- 43:50Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. Let's talk TV. What's on the Telly
- 43:56Speaker 3: with Mike Minogue?
- 44:00Speaker 4: Yeah, people love that. I just watched the more Slow Horses.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Uh yeah, that's all I got to say about. That's great.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Love it the front Mogie.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Eva, Man, that was a shocker.
- 44:31Speaker 4: You're right, I watched nothing.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Why do you ask? Why do you ask?
- 44:37Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 44:38Speaker 3: There was no point.
- 44:40Speaker 5: We'll see it because of this stuff we talked about
- 44:42Speaker 5: earlier with the dogs yea, the fly forks, fireforks.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Seriously, it was just no fireflis.
- 44:50Speaker 4: So I just spent the whole evening making it. Should
- 44:53Speaker 4: you should have put a dog show on, making around
- 44:57Speaker 4: up all the dogs and the heaps are back in anyway.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Nah, it was just no point. It was just one
- 45:02Speaker 3: of those situations where we just gave up and went,
- 45:04Speaker 3: this is stupid. Certainly not wasting this in between with
