Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: This is Pastor Millie.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Secret Place.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: One more night, one more day that the Lord has given us.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: And in this episode today, I want to speak to that person, that one person who thought it was over.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Maybe you thought the opportunity was gone.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Maybe you thought that the relationship, the dream, the calling, or the season of your life could never be restored.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: But here I am, one more night to tell you and to remind you today that God has the final word.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Doesn't matter what you're going through, what you may be feeling tonight, or how you may be feeling tonight.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: What looks finished to you may simply be waiting for the hand of God.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we wait and we wait and we think that God is not hearing us and God is not attentive to our needs.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And on the contrary, He is.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: He is just developing in you that perseverance, that patience, right?
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: But He's there, He's hearing you.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: What you thought was buried, God can breathe life into it again.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: See, into those dry bones, God can make them live again.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: What you thought you lost forever, God can restore it in ways greater than you can ever imagine.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Because the Bible says, and that's the most beautiful thing that the word speaks to us in Joel 2, verse 25 says, I will repay you the years the locusts have eaten.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: So wherever you are listening from today, open your heart.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Because this message is for somebody who needs to hear these words.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: God can restore what you thought was over.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: So remember this: God can restore what you thought it was over.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: He can restore whatever you thought was over.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we grieve more than what we lost.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: And it's sad because sometimes we do.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: We grieve more than what we lost.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: We grieve the time we lost.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: We think about years and opportunities, relationships, or dreams, and say, only if I can get that back in time.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Only if I can just turn back time and start all over.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And at the end of the day, God promises restoration, reminding us that He is not limited by our timeline.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: He can bring fruit out of seasons that appear completely wasted.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we think things are wasted.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Only God knows.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: You know, we just gotta take it one day at a time.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: You know, sometimes restoration does not always mean God gives you the exact same thing back.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Sometimes to restore your life, God's gotta do changes in your life.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: And sometimes he restores your joy, your confidence, your peace, your faith, or your ability to dream again.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Sometimes what he builds next is healthier than what you lost.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Sometimes, you know, like I look back at time, and sometimes we reminisce and we think and we think, and you go back to when times were different.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: You go back maybe when you were in a different relationship and you think about maybe the mess and how for this season, how you can repair, or for this new relationship, how you can repair what was lost at one point.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And God will give you the strength to do so.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: So do not spend the rest of your life staring at what is gone.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Thank God for what He taught you, the lessons learned, the things that now you have rebuilt even stronger, because sometimes broken relationships and broken, broken things doesn't mean it's over.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: It means that God is giving you a new opportunity to learn from what was broken and grow from that, you know.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: So thank God for what he taught you and turn your face toward what he still can do in your life.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Because if you are in a new relationship, or if you started something new, or if you left behind the old and here you are starting the new, just thank God for it and take it one day at a time and know and that everything that happened in the past was mistakes and lesson learned.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: These are lessons that we learn from.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like they say, you grow through what you go through and make it the best, make it the best years ever.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: It's not wasted years, it's just a new beginning.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: And I want to say this prayer for you tonight.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you thanks, I give you honor, and I give you glory.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: I give you the years and the opportunities that we cannot recover on our own, Father God.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Restore what needs to be restored in us, Father God.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Give us courage to believe that our best days do not have to be behind us.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' mighty name I pray.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: God bless you, and I hope this word blesses your life.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Remember this the old is the old, the new is the new.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Focus on your new life, focus on this new beginning, and let the past be the past.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
