- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to Conspiracy The Show, the world's most trusted conspiracy
- 0:16Speaker 1: dary podcast, with your hosts Adam Todd Brown and Olivia Hidar.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy Show. I'm Adam Todd Brown
- 0:39Speaker 2: and I'm Olivia Hidar and that makes us your hosts Olivia.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Happy last day of the United States. How's it going.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Oh, it's going about as well as it did on
- 0:51Speaker 3: all of the other last days of the United States. Yeah,
- 0:55Speaker 3: which is to say not great.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I would say, yeah, this is coming out the day
- 1:00Speaker 2: the midterm elections happen. I already voted, so I didn't
- 1:03Speaker 2: have to smack a Republican poll watcher in the goddamn face.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I didn't want to be confronted with all that, so
- 1:09Speaker 2: I did some early votes.
- 1:11Speaker 3: You got no idea, that's the thing.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I'm I'm actually in the one part of La County
- 1:17Speaker 2: where that probably will be a thing. But I can't
- 1:20Speaker 2: imagine where you are in the mid West what that
- 1:26Speaker 2: situation is going to be.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Like.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Look, I'm not going into of a poll. I can't imagine.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I also can't imagine. Yeah, but I will say that
- 1:36Speaker 3: every day, at least once a day for the last
- 1:40Speaker 3: two months. I have been getting the most hate filled
- 1:46Speaker 3: right wing political advertising in my mailbox. Oh sure, physically
- 1:52Speaker 3: every day, at least once, if not twice.
- 1:55Speaker 2: That's nuts, especially if the things happened twice at different times.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Like fuck, I checked the mail this morning and it's
- 2:05Speaker 5: you know, it's a local right wing election and so
- 2:10Speaker 5: it's all about critical race theory and how trans people
- 2:16Speaker 5: are destroying the world, like a bunch of stuff.
- 2:19Speaker 3: That's really going to appeal to.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Me right as a voter. Yeah, that's fucking nuts. I
- 2:26Speaker 2: can't imagine what it's like out there.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Sucks.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I bet a fascists, Yeah, oh, there sure are. There's
- 2:32Speaker 2: so many fascists. So that's not what we're talking about today.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I mean, we're sort of talking about fascists. We're talking
- 2:38Speaker 2: about the American government, so we're always talking about fascist
- 2:41Speaker 2: when we do that. But we're talking about a story
- 2:45Speaker 2: that is sweeping the nation, a story that's doing exactly
- 2:49Speaker 2: what the Libs want it to do, which is distract
- 2:52Speaker 2: me and Olivia from talking about the real issues.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Right, the real issues being like ed Stream like horror movies.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Dad's Stream was really good. The new VHS rules,
- 3:06Speaker 2: lots of good horror movies out there. We're talking about
- 3:08Speaker 2: the Paul Pelosi hammer attack. Is that that's about. We
- 3:12Speaker 2: can't call it an assassination.
- 3:13Speaker 3: He didn't die, No, he didn't.
- 3:15Speaker 2: They and it's not as fun to just call it
- 3:17Speaker 2: a beating when you could call it a hammer attack.
- 3:19Speaker 3: So well, right, And it was also like a home invasion.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I feel like any home invasion, it's not a beating
- 3:26Speaker 3: when it happens there.
- 3:27Speaker 2: True, Yeah, yeah, maybe that's an elevated beating.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an elevator beating. Yeah. And A twenty four
- 3:35Speaker 3: has just been pushing these elevated beatings, and I gotta say,
- 3:38Speaker 3: I just am sick of it.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a post beating beating.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Just give me my good old fashioned, you know, sleezy
- 3:47Speaker 3: be beatings.
- 3:49Speaker 2: This is a wild story, and I'm just gonna come
- 3:52Speaker 2: right out and say it. Paul Pelosi's having a bad year.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no shit.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I didn't even know this man's name prior to me
- 4:00Speaker 2: of this year. Yeah, because he's the husband of an
- 4:03Speaker 2: elected official. What the fuck do I care. We don't
- 4:06Speaker 2: have a royal family here. I don't have to pay
- 4:08Speaker 2: attention to these motherfuckers' spouses. Nope, but now I do,
- 4:12Speaker 2: because someone attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer, and now
- 4:15Speaker 2: here we are talking about it. The first place Paul
- 4:19Speaker 2: Pelosi came to my attention, though, was back in May,
- 4:22Speaker 2: I guess the first time, not the first place, but sure,
- 4:25Speaker 2: that's when that dui happened. And I remember when that happened,
- 4:29Speaker 2: and I remember thinking, so what, I don't care people
- 4:32Speaker 2: get DUIs all the time?
- 4:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it sucks. Don't drink it, drive, especially
- 4:38Speaker 3: when you're eighty two years old.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, don't even drive when you're eighty two.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Yeah, the fuck is the matter with you? I will
- 4:46Speaker 3: say it does though, remind me of the time that
- 4:49Speaker 3: my grandfather relapsed and stole someone's car from a liquor store.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Ye on accident on accident, well know, like he thought
- 5:01Speaker 3: it was his, oh for sure, and so he got
- 5:04Speaker 3: it to drove away.
- 5:05Speaker 2: There, but for the grace of God go in.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yep, but that's just what I picture was. I
- 5:11Speaker 3: think of an old man striving trunk.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a pretty minor thing. It was a
- 5:17Speaker 2: misdemeanor charge. He got an accident, But it seems like
- 5:20Speaker 2: the accident maybe wasn't even completely his fault. He just
- 5:25Speaker 2: happened to have gotten in an accident while drunk, and
- 5:28Speaker 2: so you're gonna get you're gonna get some dy charges
- 5:31Speaker 2: out of that.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yeah, lucky for the guy whose fault the accident was,
- 5:36Speaker 3: probably yeah, because you're gonna be able to claim like, look,
- 5:39Speaker 3: he was just drunk guy.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. It was a misdemeanor charge. He paid five
- 5:45Speaker 2: thousand dollars bail to get out. Seemingly a minor incident
- 5:49Speaker 2: happened the day before Nancy Pelosi received an honorary degree
- 5:53Speaker 2: from Brown University. Fucking men always got to steal the
- 5:58Speaker 2: spotlight from the women in their lives. But also, why
- 6:02Speaker 2: is Brown given Nancy Pelosi an honorary degree this late
- 6:05Speaker 2: in the game. Doesn't she have a degree?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Yeah? Why is Brown giving her a degree?
- 6:14Speaker 2: How crazy would it be if we looked it up
- 6:16Speaker 2: and it's like, no, ged that's all Nancy Pelosi.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Look based on her policies.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Right Yeah, wow boom. I love the idea that right
- 6:29Speaker 2: wingers think people on the left love Nancy Pelosi. It's like,
- 6:33Speaker 2: sh do you even know us read a thing?
- 6:37Speaker 3: I guess so, I guess they do? Mostly do they
- 6:40Speaker 3: still it feels like they would have gotten the point
- 6:43Speaker 3: by I guess they're professional point missers, but you.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Know, yeah, anyway, Nancy Pelosi. I bring this up because
- 6:52Speaker 2: I can't find a lot of information about it now,
- 6:55Speaker 2: but a rumor apparently started circulating after this, do you
- 7:00Speaker 2: why arrest that Paul Pelosi had a passenger in the
- 7:03Speaker 2: car with him and that the passenger was his gay lover.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, ooh, scandalous. I can't imagine where a rumor like
- 7:14Speaker 3: this would have started.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I still know, Yeah, I don't. I'm probably sound. This
- 7:21Speaker 2: seems like left wing propaganda, probably the leftists pushing this
- 7:27Speaker 2: classic leftist tactic, right, because you know how people on
- 7:30Speaker 2: the left get whipped into a frenzy when they find
- 7:32Speaker 2: out someone's gay.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Yeah, they hate it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Oh no, Yeah, So this rumor started and there was
- 7:41Speaker 2: about a three month gap. I bring this up because
- 7:43Speaker 2: I feel like something similar is going to happen here.
- 7:46Speaker 2: There's this arrest in May, and then there's this three
- 7:50Speaker 2: month gap where the police bodycam footage is not released
- 7:55Speaker 2: to the public, and that leaves this vacuum where people
- 7:58Speaker 2: can jump in with theories like this that, oh, they're
- 8:02Speaker 2: not showing us the footage because Paul Pelosi's gay and
- 8:06Speaker 2: his gay lover was in the car with him. And
- 8:08Speaker 2: then the footage comes out and it's like, well, no,
- 8:11Speaker 2: that's not true. You can see from the dashcam footage
- 8:15Speaker 2: that there was no one with Paul Pelosi. But by
- 8:17Speaker 2: then it doesn't matter, right because the didn't has spread.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it didn't really even matter as the rumor was spreading,
- 8:27Speaker 3: because the people who want to believe a rumor like
- 8:30Speaker 3: this aren't gonna give a shit whether reality conforms to
- 8:35Speaker 3: their ideas.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and in the video you can see that Paul
- 8:40Speaker 2: Pelosi is indeed hammered, oh yeah, right, meaning oh drunk.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, because he was assaulted with the hammer, right.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I actually had that in the notes, like, not joking.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I just like put it in there that he was
- 8:53Speaker 2: hammered because that's a good slang for drunk, and it
- 8:55Speaker 2: just dawned on me. Also hammered last month, right, foreshadowy,
- 9:01Speaker 2: also very sad. Don't fucking attack the families of elected
- 9:05Speaker 2: officials with violence, fucking mind.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Right, not the families Jesus.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the whole if you read the San Francisco
- 9:12Speaker 2: PDS statement, that's their whole vibe. Is like, families don't
- 9:17Speaker 2: deserve this. It's like the officials maybe, I mean, you
- 9:21Speaker 2: use your own judgment there and we'll work it out
- 9:23Speaker 2: in court, but the families no which true. So I
- 9:28Speaker 2: bring that up, the dui thing, because it does play
- 9:30Speaker 2: into something else that happens in regards to the Paul
- 9:33Speaker 2: Pelosi attack, which we'll get to in a minute. In
- 9:36Speaker 2: the meantime, fast forward to right now this most recent incident.
- 9:40Speaker 2: The first thing we found out was that in the
- 9:42Speaker 2: very early morning hours of October twenty eighth, Paul Pelosi
- 9:46Speaker 2: was attacked and severely beaten with a hammer by an
- 9:49Speaker 2: assailant who broke into the San Francisco home he shares
- 9:52Speaker 2: with Nancy Pelosi. Right away we heard that the attacker
- 9:56Speaker 2: was screaming, where's Nancy. We got the name of a
- 9:59Speaker 2: susp pretty quick, forty two year old David de Pape.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I've heard people pronounce it to Pappy, but I respectfully
- 10:06Speaker 2: decline to take that route. I'm going to paper.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Because Mike I would go or Depoppy, not to Pappy.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I feel like to Pappy is very American sounding.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, if the media wants me to pronounce it that way,
- 10:19Speaker 2: they're gonna have to add some accent marks somewhere in that. Yeah,
- 10:22Speaker 2: until then he's David to pape and what's he gonna do?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Attack me with a fucking hammer for saying his.
- 10:29Speaker 3: So he might if he gets out.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Police arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, elder abuse, and burglary,
- 10:38Speaker 2: which you know, when Paul Pelosi heard that part, he
- 10:40Speaker 2: was like, Oh, I get that. I'm eighty too, but
- 10:42Speaker 2: come on.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Is it? I guess why would it be a separate
- 10:47Speaker 3: thing I don't know from the attempted murder like elder abuse,
- 10:53Speaker 3: Like I get elder abuse when like someone's in a
- 10:55Speaker 3: nursing home and their nurse is like hitting in with
- 10:58Speaker 3: a bar of soap and a towel or something, that's
- 11:02Speaker 3: elder abuse. I get it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a weird charge. It seems like the one
- 11:06Speaker 2: that's probably most likely to get dropped. It's like, you
- 11:09Speaker 2: get the attempted murder is right there. Also, you could
- 11:12Speaker 2: just run with that one. See how many years you
- 11:15Speaker 2: get out of it. So we also found out right
- 11:18Speaker 2: away Paul Pelosi underwent surgery to repair a skull fracture
- 11:23Speaker 2: and serious injuries to his right arm and hands or
- 11:26Speaker 2: dide he Okay, see that's the one I like that
- 11:31Speaker 2: Republicans came out right away with, oh is this a
- 11:33Speaker 2: false flag? Like no, this would be the stupidest false
- 11:37Speaker 2: flag attack of all time. Like, here's here's how I
- 11:41Speaker 2: know we're gonna sway the midterm elections. Let's beat Nancy
- 11:45Speaker 2: Pelosi's husband with a hammer. Yeah, who's that gonna sway?
- 11:49Speaker 2: That's not doing anything.
- 11:51Speaker 3: But everyone in the country knows Paul Pelosi. They're gonna
- 11:54Speaker 3: be outraged immediately.
- 11:57Speaker 1: No, they're not.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Like, there's a lot of conspiracies around this, But the
- 12:02Speaker 2: idea that this like either didn't happen or that Democrats
- 12:06Speaker 2: did it intentionally, that's fucking dumb, Like that's not even
- 12:10Speaker 2: worth exploring. But it's it's one of the things that
- 12:13Speaker 2: people were pushing is that this.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Is a maybe Nancy Pelosi did it intentionally.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I could see that. Yeah, maybe we'll find out. What
- 12:20Speaker 2: if we find out she paid David to pay.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Maybe it's have I would actually buy.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's more that happens way more often.
- 12:31Speaker 3: It happens more often, and she's an evil bitch. So
- 12:36Speaker 3: I just kind of won't put anything past.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Here that would be the fun investigation discovery conclusion to this. Yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 2: up next on the Nightmare next Door. So those were
- 12:48Speaker 2: the early details we found out. But seeing as how
- 12:52Speaker 2: this happened eleven days before the mid terms, sure both
- 12:57Speaker 2: sides of the political spectrum already jumping in to try
- 13:01Speaker 2: and capitalize on this a little bit. And this is
- 13:05Speaker 2: kind of where the Dui story comes into play. One
- 13:08Speaker 2: of the first controversies that erupted around this involved Hillary Clinton.
- 13:14Speaker 2: She tweeted a thing about this story and how right
- 13:17Speaker 2: wing extremism is leading to violence and blah blah blah,
- 13:21Speaker 2: and she's probably right like this does this does point
- 13:25Speaker 2: I think a little more to right wing than left
- 13:28Speaker 2: wing violence, but we'll get to that later. The thing
- 13:32Speaker 2: is Elon Musk, new president of Twitter, responded to Hillary
- 13:38Speaker 2: Clinton's tweet and he quote tweeted it and said, there's
- 13:42Speaker 2: just a slight possibility there might be more to this story,
- 13:45Speaker 2: and he linked to an article. Olivia, did you read
- 13:49Speaker 2: the article? He liked to I put it in the
- 13:51Speaker 2: show notes the Observer.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely fucking not, sorry, I got I got the summary.
- 13:59Speaker 2: It is is batshit insane.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah, no shit.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And the thing about it, the article it was written
- 14:07Speaker 2: by a guy named Stan Green. Right off the bat,
- 14:10Speaker 2: that's not a real person. I looked around to try
- 14:13Speaker 2: and find a Stan Green. There's no Stan Green in
- 14:16Speaker 2: Santa Monica. The La Times a writer named Robin Abcarrian
- 14:20Speaker 2: track down who this person really is, and he's just
- 14:23Speaker 2: the publisher of the Santa Monica Observer. His name's David Ganiser. Yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 2: makes sense, and he, according to their article, is a
- 14:32Speaker 2: lifelong right wing troll who's been sued approximately forty times
- 14:38Speaker 2: for various crimes and misdeeds.
- 14:41Speaker 3: So what is it like thirty nine forty one?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I always love wording like that. My
- 14:49Speaker 2: favorite the one we bring up on the Pretty Scary Pod.
- 14:52Speaker 2: All the time. We were talking about some book and
- 14:54Speaker 2: it said it had been translated into more than eleven languages.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It's like, well, how many more? Three? Then just say fourteen?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Say it was fourteen? The fuck do you mean more
- 15:04Speaker 2: than eleven? We're stopped eleven. It's actually like a thousand
- 15:09Speaker 2: something now, But.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Like after a certain threshold, I think, like morally you
- 15:14Speaker 3: have to switch to under fifteen.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, well there's rounding laws, just like with actual life.
- 15:21Speaker 3: So you know, you gotta go with what's gonna look best.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So this guy's been sued a whole bunch, Yeah, forty
- 15:28Speaker 2: one times. A journalist friend of David Ganiser shared a
- 15:34Speaker 2: text exchange with the La Times. And it's interesting because
- 15:38Speaker 2: this journalist friend is a helicopter camera operator and she
- 15:43Speaker 2: is the woman who filmed the Reginald Denny beating during
- 15:48Speaker 2: the LA riots, and she filmed something else really prominent too,
- 15:53Speaker 2: So she's not nobody. She knows this guy. She knows
- 15:57Speaker 2: David Ganiser, and she shared this text extra change with
- 16:00Speaker 2: the La Times where she texted him and was like,
- 16:03Speaker 2: did you write that bullshit about Paul Pelosi? And his
- 16:06Speaker 2: response was, my story makes more sense than the San
- 16:10Speaker 2: Francisco Police Department story. So yeah, he's he's Stan Green.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yes, seems seems to be.
- 16:16Speaker 2: It takes a lot of backbone to write a story
- 16:18Speaker 2: like that, not under your real name.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's that's what that is.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's spine right, that's intestinal for courage under fire exactly.
- 16:28Speaker 2: And his story leans on the Paul Pelosi's gay rumor
- 16:33Speaker 2: that apparently started circulating after that Dui story, a rumor
- 16:38Speaker 2: that is so prevalent I cannot find a single mention
- 16:41Speaker 2: of it anywhere. I don't know if the rumor ever
- 16:44Speaker 2: even actually started, even that part I'm just getting from
- 16:48Speaker 2: this fucking guy.
- 16:49Speaker 3: So who that's that's interesting. I mean, like I do
- 16:52Speaker 3: imagine that there is a I mean, we know that
- 16:54Speaker 3: there is a whole network of right wing places that
- 16:59Speaker 3: maybe it's harder to source on this stuff, but I
- 17:03Speaker 3: mean it's also equally likely that this dickhead.
- 17:06Speaker 2: But I'm usually able to find something like it usually
- 17:12Speaker 2: takes some digging, and I didn't dig as hard this
- 17:14Speaker 2: time because here's the thing, I believe it. I don't, like,
- 17:18Speaker 2: you don't need to show me proof that right wingers
- 17:20Speaker 2: started rumor that Paul. Of course they did. Fucking of
- 17:24Speaker 2: course they did. He lives in San Francisco, he's a liberal.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Of course they started that rumor right.
- 17:31Speaker 3: And also it doesn't matter, I mean, like it now exists.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, exactly, once the rumor's out there, that's
- 17:38Speaker 2: good enough. No one, No one cares about the fact
- 17:41Speaker 2: checkers afterwards.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Nope, especially not on the rate.
- 17:44Speaker 2: No. And so, building on that rumor from the Dui story,
- 17:48Speaker 2: Stan Green theorizes that Paul Pelosi brought David to Paye
- 17:53Speaker 2: home from a gay bar, and that the altercation ensued
- 17:58Speaker 2: from there. Sure, and all of that where's Nancy stuff,
- 18:03Speaker 2: and all of this talk of right wing extremism is
- 18:07Speaker 2: all just a smoke screen to cover up that Paul
- 18:09Speaker 2: Pelosi has a gay lover. And it's like, I don't
- 18:13Speaker 2: know if the police are gonna go that hard in
- 18:15Speaker 2: the paint for the Pelosis at this point in history,
- 18:18Speaker 2: Like you, honestly you think the police aren't a little
- 18:22Speaker 2: politically aware of what side the defund the police talk
- 18:26Speaker 2: is coming from.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:27Speaker 2: They tie that shit directly to Nancy Pelosi. Some motherfuckers
- 18:31Speaker 2: are not going to risk their careers to cover up
- 18:34Speaker 2: that Paul Pelosi had a gay lover in the house.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Come on, right, which is something that no one would
- 18:40Speaker 3: care about except for right wing chuds.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Right, It's not like it's a scandal that would bring
- 18:46Speaker 2: down Nancy Pelosi, not in the fucking slightest. All she
- 18:51Speaker 2: would have at all, all she would have to do
- 18:53Speaker 2: is be like, yeah, I knew I was cool with it,
- 18:55Speaker 2: and everyone would be like, oh okay, except people on
- 18:58Speaker 2: the right who would accused her like participating in a
- 19:01Speaker 2: satanic ritual of some sort.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Right, or she could like divorce him and be like, oh,
- 19:07Speaker 3: he was unfaithful and blah blah blah, and then she
- 19:09Speaker 3: could support and sympathy like that would be such an
- 19:14Speaker 3: easy scandal to spin positively for Nancy Pelosi, at least
- 19:20Speaker 3: for a portion of the audience.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely. And so when people started questioning the part
- 19:27Speaker 2: where you know, he has absolutely no evidence to support
- 19:30Speaker 2: anything that he put in this article, Stan Green fell
- 19:34Speaker 2: back on the ole it's just an opinion article, excuse
- 19:39Speaker 2: which here's the thing. For one thing, the headline of
- 19:42Speaker 2: the article the awful truth Paul Pelosi was drunk again
- 19:47Speaker 2: and assaulted by his gay lover. That is the title
- 19:51Speaker 2: of the opinion article, right, Stan Green wrote, Yeah, And
- 19:57Speaker 2: the way he introduces this as an a article, This
- 20:01Speaker 2: is a quote from the article. I might disappear for
- 20:04Speaker 2: telling you the truth. If I do, you'll all know why.
- 20:07Speaker 2: But here's what really happened early Friday morning in San Francisco.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I am h O. He knows what the fuck he's doing.
- 20:15Speaker 2: He knows what kind of people are gonna read this
- 20:18Speaker 2: and fucking run with it and email their kids, And
- 20:22Speaker 2: he knows what audience this is going to. And it
- 20:26Speaker 2: worked exactly the way he wanted it to work.
- 20:29Speaker 3: But Adam, he said, I am h o, how much
- 20:35Speaker 3: more clear can he be that it's the opinion piece
- 20:37Speaker 3: he's being. Also, he's being humble, right, you gotta love.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Do you think that's humble or honest?
- 20:45Speaker 2: I've always thought honest. But I read there was an
- 20:48Speaker 2: article about this stan Green article and they say on
- 20:52Speaker 2: it or humble, weird.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I was just gonna say, like, we're just really seeing
- 20:58Speaker 3: the display of just a fucking titanium backbone here to
- 21:04Speaker 3: write this article and it's under a pseudonym and falls
- 21:11Speaker 3: back on thee. But it's just an opinion piece.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Not just he says the opinion was relayed to him
- 21:18Speaker 2: by a source.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Sure, great, that's the trifecta.
- 21:22Speaker 2: This guy's just a soothsayer man. He's just passing down
- 21:25Speaker 2: tales from the ancients to us young bravery.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I just am astonished.
- 21:31Speaker 2: He just made this shit up. He completely made this
- 21:33Speaker 2: shit up. I encourage people to read the La Times
- 21:36Speaker 2: article about this guy, like this is just what he does.
- 21:40Speaker 2: And then now he's got the nerve to on top
- 21:44Speaker 2: of this article. Now he's got this long, like five
- 21:46Speaker 2: page rant about how people were dragging his name through
- 21:50Speaker 2: the mud. But now more information's coming out that proves
- 21:54Speaker 2: he was right. No, it doesn't. It's the same bullshit.
- 21:57Speaker 2: It's just yeah, we'll get there.
- 21:59Speaker 3: But he's got like the god of Twitter backing him up,
- 22:05Speaker 3: you know, like, yeah, that's going to embolden him.
- 22:08Speaker 2: But also Elon Musk deleted that tweet. That's like Newsmax
- 22:12Speaker 2: banning you for being too QAnon. That's true, Like when
- 22:17Speaker 2: Elon Luscus like, this is too much misinformation for me.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Sorry, Yeah, it doesn't matter though, like just the fact
- 22:25Speaker 3: that he did it, like millions of people saw the article.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Then, yeah, millions of people saw the article, and you
- 22:31Speaker 2: know the consensus among that crowd is just going to be, well,
- 22:34Speaker 2: he had to take it down because of all the
- 22:35Speaker 2: pressure from investors and advertisers and stuff. But we know
- 22:39Speaker 2: this is the true story about what happened to Paul Pelosi,
- 22:42Speaker 2: and it's like fucking citation needed fuck out of here.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Because for one thing, I know, this won't be a
- 22:49Speaker 2: lot of This won't be a problem for a lot
- 22:51Speaker 2: of people, and I understand that. But to believe Stan
- 22:54Speaker 2: Green's theorized version of events in the Pelosi attack, you
- 22:58Speaker 2: have to also believe that the FBI, the San Francisco PD,
- 23:02Speaker 2: the prosecutor, the district attorney, everyone has just completely fabricated
- 23:08Speaker 2: their case against David to Pate, because a day after
- 23:12Speaker 2: stan Green's article came out, the actual like criminal complaint
- 23:17Speaker 2: against David to Pape was published by the Department of Justice,
- 23:20Speaker 2: and it includes a whole lot of quotes from de
- 23:24Speaker 2: Pape himself that I would argue kind of contradict the
- 23:28Speaker 2: gay lover scenario here. Oh really Yeah, Like there's the
- 23:33Speaker 2: part where he said he was this is a quote
- 23:35Speaker 2: I'm sick of the insane, fucking levels of lies coming
- 23:38Speaker 2: out of Washington, d C. This was a suicide mission.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I'm not going to stand here and do nothing, even
- 23:45Speaker 2: if it cost me my life.
- 23:47Speaker 3: So sounds pretty gay.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Yeah, Like what to believe the Stan Green version of events?
- 23:58Speaker 2: You have to believe this is all completely made up?
- 24:00Speaker 2: And like, I get it. I get that the FBI
- 24:03Speaker 2: isn't the most respected outfit, but I don't think they
- 24:09Speaker 2: would go this far to what cover up that Paul
- 24:13Speaker 2: Pelosi's gay to swing the midterm elections? Like what would
- 24:17Speaker 2: be the point of.
- 24:19Speaker 3: We all know the FBI loves liberals.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and the thing. Yeah, the FBI they love a
- 24:27Speaker 2: progressive that's for damn sure.
- 24:28Speaker 3: We've talked about it, really, you know, they've they've always
- 24:31Speaker 3: had an interest in the black freedom movement. What was that, Sorry,
- 24:36Speaker 3: I'm just thinking about that quote from the FBI museum.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah. I wrote an article about the Bobby
- 24:43Speaker 2: Kennedy thing, and I included that I had lost most
- 24:47Speaker 2: of the pictures, but I still have that because I
- 24:50Speaker 2: texted it to you. Yeah, I was able to find
- 24:53Speaker 2: that one.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you're never going to forget that. That's such a good,
- 24:57Speaker 3: great plaque.
- 24:58Speaker 2: It was. It was almost as great as how they
- 25:01Speaker 2: had a bunch of doors that were painted to show
- 25:04Speaker 2: what the old timey FBI offices look like, and one
- 25:07Speaker 2: of them was the cyber Crimes Unit. It's like, oh ye,
- 25:10Speaker 2: old cyber crimes Okay, is that what that door look
- 25:13Speaker 2: like back in the nineteen thirties? Got it? So the
- 25:16Speaker 2: other thing about this being a thing that the FBI,
- 25:20Speaker 2: the police, the Department of Justice, the Democratic Party all
- 25:24Speaker 2: teaming up to fake in the name of swinging the
- 25:28Speaker 2: midterm elections, it plays into the standard right wing talking
- 25:34Speaker 2: point right now among people who are campaigning, especially in
- 25:39Speaker 2: states that have bigger cities like Los Angeles, which is
- 25:42Speaker 2: that crime is out of control. Like that's a thing
- 25:45Speaker 2: right wingers are pointing to, is like, look at San Francisco.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Crime's fucking out of control. If Democrats were faking this,
- 25:52Speaker 2: they would have to realize. This kind of just plays
- 25:55Speaker 2: into that narrative too, like you could just flip it
- 25:58Speaker 2: whichever way. So there's no point in anyone faking this,
- 26:02Speaker 2: like there's yeah, there's absolutely no reason for anyone to
- 26:06Speaker 2: false flag this shit.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no there's no benefit, No one gains anything,
- 26:11Speaker 3: no from any of this, except for the right wing
- 26:13Speaker 3: who have a fun new thing to play with, like
- 26:17Speaker 3: a dog toy or whatever.
- 26:19Speaker 2: And that is I think one of the most important
- 26:22Speaker 2: things you look for when you're accusing someone of a crime,
- 26:25Speaker 2: or if you're accusing someone of being involved in a conspiracy.
- 26:28Speaker 3: It's like, well, what's the who benefits?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, who benefits? What's the motive? Who is this helping?
- 26:34Speaker 2: And in this case nobody. It helps everyone as much
- 26:37Speaker 2: as it helps no one if you're talking capitalizing on
- 26:39Speaker 2: it for political reasons, right, So sorry, probably not a
- 26:44Speaker 2: false flag, but that didn't stop people from spreading more theories,
- 26:52Speaker 2: and what you see here is a lot of what
- 26:54Speaker 2: you saw with Sandy Hook, where things come out in
- 26:57Speaker 2: the very early moments of that and sometimes the information
- 27:01Speaker 2: is wrong and needs to be corrected. That is a
- 27:04Speaker 2: common thing in journalism, and that's what people latch onto
- 27:08Speaker 2: for conspiracy theories like this. Yeah, example, there was a
- 27:12Speaker 2: rumor that both Pelosi and the Pape were in their
- 27:15Speaker 2: underwear when police showed up. And see that's another thing
- 27:18Speaker 2: where people are like, well, see that was his gay lover.
- 27:21Speaker 2: That's why they were both in their underwear. And the
- 27:23Speaker 2: reason people are saying that is because there was a
- 27:26Speaker 2: local San Francisco Fox News affiliate, if you can believe it,
- 27:30Speaker 2: that accidentally wrote that when police arrived, both men were
- 27:35Speaker 2: in their underwear, and then they later corrected that and said, no,
- 27:39Speaker 2: we were wrong. But that's what right wingers like Denish
- 27:42Speaker 2: de Susan and Donald Trump Junior started running with, and
- 27:46Speaker 2: they started tweeting about why were they both in their underwear?
- 27:50Speaker 3: The paragons of truth? Yes, Donald Trump Jr. And Denis deus.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Absolutely that local affiliate issued a correction like I think
- 28:00Speaker 2: later or something like very shortly thereafter, And there's a
- 28:03Speaker 2: bunch of uproar around the nine to one one call,
- 28:07Speaker 2: because Paul Pelosi it seems like, at one point refers
- 28:10Speaker 2: to David de Pape as a friend. He says, there's
- 28:13Speaker 2: a gentleman here waiting for my wife. And what people
- 28:17Speaker 2: aren't taken into account is Paul Pelosi made that phone
- 28:20Speaker 2: call while a man who broke in his home was
- 28:23Speaker 2: standing over him with a hammer.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Right.
- 28:26Speaker 2: You get from David de Pape's own statements and from
- 28:30Speaker 2: just reading through the court records, which we'll link to
- 28:34Speaker 2: Paul Pelosi, it seems like trick David to Pape into
- 28:37Speaker 2: making that phone call, right because he asked if he
- 28:40Speaker 2: could use the bathroom, and the thing is his phone
- 28:42Speaker 2: was charging in the bathroom, so he goes in the
- 28:44Speaker 2: bathroom and makes this nine to one one call. And
- 28:46Speaker 2: in David de Pape's mind, well, now he's already on
- 28:50Speaker 2: the phone with the police. So I mean, if I
- 28:53Speaker 2: just murder him while he's on the phone with police,
- 28:55Speaker 2: I'm fucked right. You kind of have to put yourself
- 28:59Speaker 2: in David De Pape's us in that moment, and it's like, well,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I'm here on a suicide mission to save the nation
- 29:05Speaker 2: from tyranny. Am I gonna let it all end? Because
- 29:08Speaker 2: this guy made a phone call? And that is actually
- 29:11Speaker 2: David de Pape's thinking, if you read his own words,
- 29:14Speaker 2: He's like, the guy painted me into a corner. I
- 29:16Speaker 2: didn't want to kill him, I didn't want to attack him.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I wanted his wife. But then he made that phone
- 29:21Speaker 2: call and it escalated things. So if Paul Pelosi seems
- 29:25Speaker 2: a little hesitant or tentative on that nine to one
- 29:28Speaker 2: one call, he's trying to not get beat to death
- 29:30Speaker 2: with a hammer. Yeah, like you're gonna do some tap
- 29:34Speaker 2: dancing in that situation.
- 29:36Speaker 3: And like why would his gay lover want to talk
- 29:39Speaker 3: to his wife?
- 29:40Speaker 2: Right?
- 29:40Speaker 3: It doesn't really fit into the to the theory that
- 29:44Speaker 3: that line I don't understand.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah, And also there's a moment where David de Pate
- 29:50Speaker 2: yells out I'm a friend. Why didn't he yell out
- 29:53Speaker 2: I'm his boyfriend, right, or I'm his gay lover? None
- 29:57Speaker 2: of that.
- 29:57Speaker 3: He's just friend. There's no well, there's they're staying quiet
- 30:01Speaker 3: about it.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I suppose still trying to keep that relationship under wraps.
- 30:05Speaker 2: While you're both on speakerphone with nine one one and
- 30:08Speaker 2: one of you's holding a hammer and zip tiz.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough to keep a relationship going after one
- 30:14Speaker 3: if you beats the other with a hammer, you gotta
- 30:17Speaker 3: do a lot of work.
- 30:19Speaker 2: It's very true. It's very true. So yeah, that's where
- 30:23Speaker 2: a lot of these rumors started. It's around stuff like that,
- 30:26Speaker 2: where people will take one little snippet from this nine
- 30:30Speaker 2: to one one call, and in some cases the nine
- 30:32Speaker 2: to one one call they're referring to isn't even Paul
- 30:34Speaker 2: Pelosi because he called nine one one, and you can
- 30:38Speaker 2: tell from the transcript that he's trying to like hint
- 30:41Speaker 2: that he needs help, but he doesn't want to outright
- 30:44Speaker 2: say fucking send the police. This guy's gonna kill me.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Right at the end of the call, he straight up says, uh,
- 30:51Speaker 2: this guy says, everything's fine, but I've got a problem.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Like how is that him like hinting that this person
- 30:57Speaker 2: is a friend and that the police shouldn't come. He's
- 31:00Speaker 2: clearly being like, fucking don't send help. Wink wink wink.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Like like he's clearly need some fucking help, right, And
- 31:10Speaker 6: but right wingers are just capitalizing on that as like
- 31:14Speaker 6: proof that there's something more sinister happening here.
- 31:17Speaker 2: There's also another rumor that there were two hammers present, which,
- 31:22Speaker 2: for one thing, what the fuck you think they were
- 31:24Speaker 2: engaging in gay hammer play? Like, why what does it
- 31:26Speaker 2: matter if there were two hammers there?
- 31:28Speaker 3: Well, I guess like they were. They were like having
- 31:32Speaker 3: a hammer fight.
- 31:33Speaker 2: All I want is for someone to All I want
- 31:36Speaker 2: is for someone to tweet at me and be like,
- 31:38Speaker 2: you make jokes, but hammer play is real, don't kink
- 31:41Speaker 2: shame me.
- 31:42Speaker 3: I mean, hammer play probably is real.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Ouch, no matter, Ouch, it's not my.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Thing, but people like pain, you know.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I suppose that feels like a step away from gunplay.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Yes that exists. Oh no, dude, if you can think
- 32:06Speaker 3: it will fuck it.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Oh man. So yeah, maybe it was that. I don't know.
- 32:12Speaker 2: That's our new conspiracy. Yeah, engaging in hammer play with
- 32:18Speaker 2: David de Pey. And yeah, the way the two hammer
- 32:22Speaker 2: things started is there's a line in one of the
- 32:25Speaker 2: police reports that says our officers observed mister Pelosi and
- 32:29Speaker 2: the suspect both holding a hammer. That's just awkward phrasing, Like,
- 32:33Speaker 2: that's very that's sloppy grammar. It's not proof of a
- 32:37Speaker 2: conspiracy because what they actually mean is when police arrived there,
- 32:44Speaker 2: was one hammer and both of them had their hand
- 32:46Speaker 2: on it, like they were struggling over this ham and
- 32:50Speaker 2: like I can picture the scene like it's it seems
- 32:53Speaker 2: like some movie shit where they're struggling over the hammer.
- 32:57Speaker 2: The police walk in and they like stop and look
- 32:59Speaker 2: at the police, and the police are like, drop the hammer,
- 33:02Speaker 2: and one guy lets it go and the other guy
- 33:04Speaker 2: just takes it fucking bashes the guy in the head.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Exactly what happened. Yeah, that is precisely what happened. They
- 33:11Speaker 2: both had a hand on the hammer, and when the
- 33:14Speaker 2: police said dropped the hammer, David to Pape took it
- 33:17Speaker 2: and hit Paul Pelosi in the head with it.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yeah, this is just it looks like,
- 33:21Speaker 3: I mean, shocker, a cop is dumb and very good Grammer.
- 33:27Speaker 3: But like even if it was talking about two hammers,
- 33:30Speaker 3: that would be wrong, that would be incorrect grammars.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, it's wrong.
- 33:34Speaker 3: You'd be both holding hammers, not both holding a hammer.
- 33:38Speaker 2: There's also the glass. There's pictures of the glass where
- 33:42Speaker 2: David to Pape broke in, and you can see glass
- 33:45Speaker 2: on the outside, and people are leaning on their investigation
- 33:50Speaker 2: Discovery degrees to decide that well, that means that it's
- 33:55Speaker 2: fake because someone broke the glass from the inside. No,
- 33:58Speaker 2: it means that glass is the kind of glass that
- 34:00Speaker 2: you install in the home of an elected government official
- 34:04Speaker 2: at one of the highest levels possible. You're not just
- 34:07Speaker 2: gonna elbow that shit, right. David de Pape again in
- 34:11Speaker 2: his own statements, was like, man, that fucking glass was
- 34:14Speaker 2: hard to break.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, but like even if it's regular, like
- 34:20Speaker 3: that is just some pure people only get their fucking
- 34:23Speaker 3: information from movies, yes, TV. Yes, because like if you
- 34:27Speaker 3: break a fucking window, glass is gonna come on the
- 34:29Speaker 3: outside of the goddamn house in addition to the inside. Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 3: it's gonna fall, and like when you climb in, you're
- 34:36Speaker 3: going your body is going to naturally move glass out
- 34:39Speaker 3: of the window to the outside. Yeah, Like that's that's
- 34:43Speaker 3: how it works. Sorry, guys.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And there have been cases where people have staged that
- 34:47Speaker 2: kind of thing, but you can tell, like you can
- 34:49Speaker 2: tell when glass has just been broken from the cause.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I think there's like one or two examples of it,
- 34:55Speaker 2: and it was like some stupid fucking housewife and then
- 34:58Speaker 2: there's TV shows about it and people are like, oh,
- 35:00Speaker 2: any anymore.
- 35:01Speaker 3: I have to imagine most of the time that's like
- 35:04Speaker 3: insurance fraud and shit, not like breaking and entering.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's either that or I'm trying to have someone
- 35:11Speaker 2: killed and I want to make it look like a
- 35:13Speaker 2: break in, right. Yeah, but in this case, there's glass
- 35:16Speaker 2: on both sides. Because this glass you can tell was
- 35:19Speaker 2: a fucking nightmare to break like. It looks like he
- 35:22Speaker 2: had to shoot it out. It looks like look bank
- 35:24Speaker 2: glass and it.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Probably had nothing else. This guy was very determined.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the thing he said. He recognized that there
- 35:32Speaker 2: were cameras around. And that's another rumor you're hearing, is well,
- 35:37Speaker 2: hel come the cameras weren't on. They were. The cameras
- 35:40Speaker 2: were on, and they were able to be monitored from Washington,
- 35:45Speaker 2: d C. But it was five o'clock in the morning
- 35:47Speaker 2: and no one was fucking w It was five o'clock
- 35:49Speaker 2: in the morning in DC, right, and they weren't watching
- 35:52Speaker 2: and he got in. Yeah, but that doesn't mean the
- 35:55Speaker 2: cameras weren't on. Like it's like there are reports that
- 35:59Speaker 2: they rewound the footage and saw him go in, and
- 36:01Speaker 2: maybe we'll get that footage at some point.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Maybe, but like I'm not expecting that private home security footage. Yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 3: I wouldn't expect that in any case.
- 36:12Speaker 2: And so he breaks in through this glass door. He
- 36:15Speaker 2: said he was very surprised to find Paul Pelosi was
- 36:19Speaker 2: still asleep in bed after he made all that noise,
- 36:21Speaker 2: and I'm like, he's probably drunk eighty two, I mean, yeah,
- 36:26Speaker 2: eighty two, but also Nancy's on the East coast. You know,
- 36:30Speaker 2: Paul was fucking pounding them back.
- 36:33Speaker 3: That is probably true.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I think it was a Saturday, also, fucking knocked the
- 36:41Speaker 2: fuck out. I promise you that, No.
- 36:44Speaker 3: You can't be. He's been dry since the two he
- 36:48Speaker 3: went off the bottle.
- 36:49Speaker 2: He's just because eighty two is when you finally decide
- 36:53Speaker 2: to quit drinking right.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Well, and not only your body can totally take the d.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that wouldn't kill him. So he awakes to
- 37:03Speaker 2: find David de Pape standing over him, holding a hammer
- 37:06Speaker 2: and zip ties and asking where's Nancy, Probably for like
- 37:09Speaker 2: the twenty fifth time, depending on how drunk Paul Pelosi
- 37:13Speaker 2: was at that moment. He's like, fuck, hey, yeah, hey, dude, dude,
- 37:17Speaker 2: where's Nancy?
- 37:18Speaker 3: Heyre's Nancy? Hey? Where's n Paul Just get louder and.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna go get my hammer. If you don't tell
- 37:23Speaker 2: me where I know you're not, you can't possibly be asleep.
- 37:26Speaker 2: God damn it. So they had some back and forth
- 37:30Speaker 2: about how Nancy was in Washington and wouldn't be back
- 37:33Speaker 2: for a few days, and David the Pape was like, cool,
- 37:35Speaker 2: I'm just gonna tie you up. We'll wait, And uh,
- 37:37Speaker 2: I wouldn't want that. I certainly so.
- 37:41Speaker 3: So Paul, that's so funny, Like what a great plan. Yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 3: that's like a It reminds me of that fucking Dennis
- 37:50Speaker 3: Leary movie where he like ties up the couple in
- 37:54Speaker 3: the bedroom. He's like, he's like a thief and he
- 37:56Speaker 3: ties him up and then he has to deal with
- 37:58Speaker 3: him for several days.
- 37:59Speaker 2: I think people are not paying enough attention to the
- 38:03Speaker 2: part where he said this was a suicide mission. Yeah,
- 38:06Speaker 2: And I think he was expecting, as a lot of
- 38:11Speaker 2: us would, given the history of the police, if nothing else,
- 38:14Speaker 2: that someone was just gonna walk in and shoot this guy, right,
- 38:17Speaker 2: And I would join a lot of right wing voices
- 38:20Speaker 2: and asking why the police didn't just fucking shoot this
- 38:24Speaker 2: guy upon walking in. But I think we all know
- 38:27Speaker 2: one of the answers he's not black enough for that.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I haven't seen the guy, but if
- 38:34Speaker 3: I could picture him next to a paper bag, I feel.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Like, Oh, you haven't even seen what he looks like.
- 38:41Speaker 3: What No, I haven't seen the picture.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Oh he looks like he owns a fucking RII or
- 38:45Speaker 2: something like. It's got a ponytail.
- 38:48Speaker 3: White dude.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I'm right, yeah, white dude with a ponytail. So yeah,
- 38:52Speaker 2: I mean, it is weird that the police didn't just
- 38:55Speaker 2: especially the part where he like swings the hammer, but
- 38:58Speaker 2: they might not have had Like again, that's that's a
- 39:01Speaker 2: thing that people are asking all these questions around and
- 39:04Speaker 2: it's like maybe they didn't have a shot. Maybe he
- 39:07Speaker 2: was behind Paul Pelosi, and like you'd have to shoot
- 39:09Speaker 2: Paul Pelosi to shoot him, right.
- 39:14Speaker 3: If you're a cop, the last thing you want in
- 39:16Speaker 3: this situation is to shoot the elected official's husband, right.
- 39:21Speaker 2: And also if you look into how the greeting of
- 39:26Speaker 2: the police at the door happened, like Paul Pelosi didn't
- 39:30Speaker 2: like answer the door and go, oh my god, help me,
- 39:32Speaker 2: like he was struggling. It seems like they were struggling
- 39:35Speaker 2: with the hammer and Paul Pelosi was like can we
- 39:37Speaker 2: move over by the door so I can open the door?
- 39:39Speaker 2: Police said that part is confusing, and that's what's fueling
- 39:42Speaker 2: a lot of this because it seems like when they
- 39:45Speaker 2: walked in, people are like, it's okay, it's fine, we're just,
- 39:49Speaker 2: you know, struggling over this hammer here, right, And the
- 39:52Speaker 2: police say dropped the hammer, and David de Pape says nope.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Fucking he did actually say uh, nope and hit Paul
- 40:00Speaker 2: Pelosi with it.
- 40:02Speaker 3: That's what idea, maybe if you you have to have
- 40:04Speaker 3: a sense of humor in a situation.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Like this, And so that seemed to be the accepted
- 40:11Speaker 2: version of events was that the police came to the door,
- 40:15Speaker 2: Paul Pelosi answered the door, they saw the two of
- 40:18Speaker 2: them struggling over this hammer. They tell David to Pape
- 40:21Speaker 2: to drop the hammer, and then that's when David de
- 40:24Speaker 2: Pape hits Paul Pelosi with the hammer. So then this
- 40:27Speaker 2: fucking Miguel al mcgare report happens on NBC News. Have
- 40:33Speaker 2: you listened to this yet?
- 40:34Speaker 3: No? I think this came up late.
- 40:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna play it right now.
- 40:39Speaker 7: Now to the latest on the attack on Paul Pelosi.
- 40:41Speaker 7: NBC News has now learned more details about the moment
- 40:44Speaker 7: police officers arrived. The new insight gives a fuller picture
- 40:48Speaker 7: of the eighty two year old's response in the middle
- 40:51Speaker 7: of the emergency. NBC's Miguel Almaghare has more This morning.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Paul Pelosi is home back at the house that became
- 40:58Speaker 4: a crime scene a week ago. Today, NBC News learning
- 41:02Speaker 4: new details about the moments police arrived. Sources familiar with
- 41:07Speaker 4: what unfolded in the Pelosi residence now revealing when officers
- 41:11Speaker 4: responded to the high priority call, they were seemingly unaware
- 41:15Speaker 4: they'd been called to the home of the speaker of
- 41:17Speaker 4: the house. After a knock and announce, the front door
- 41:21Speaker 4: was opened by mister Pelosi. The eighty two year old
- 41:24Speaker 4: did not immediately declare an emergency or tried to leave
- 41:28Speaker 4: his home, but instead began walking several feet back into
- 41:31Speaker 4: the foyer, toward the assailant and away from police. It's
- 41:36Speaker 4: unclear if the eighty two year old was already injured
- 41:39Speaker 4: or what his mental state was, say sources. According to
- 41:43Speaker 4: court documents, when the officer asked what was going on,
- 41:47Speaker 4: defendants smiled and said everything's good, but instantaneously a struggle ensued.
- 41:53Speaker 4: As police clearly saw David de Pap strike Paul Pelosi
- 41:57Speaker 4: in the head with a hammer. After tackling the suspect,
- 42:01Speaker 4: officers rushed to mister Pelosi, who was lying in a
- 42:05Speaker 4: pool of blood.
- 42:06Speaker 1: What we do know is he brutally attacked mister Pelosi
- 42:10Speaker 1: and attempted to kill him.
- 42:11Speaker 4: After spending several days in the ICU, Pelosi, who was
- 42:15Speaker 4: recovering from a fractured skull in serious injuries to his
- 42:19Speaker 4: arm in hand, is now home where Capitol Police remain
- 42:22Speaker 4: on alert. Investigators have previously said Pelosi did not know
- 42:27Speaker 4: to Pap when the forty two year old broke into
- 42:30Speaker 4: his home. Why Pelosi didn't try to flee or tell
- 42:33Speaker 4: responding officers he was in distress is unclear.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Fear takes over, fear freezes his people.
- 42:40Speaker 4: This morning, the eighty two year old lucky to be
- 42:43Speaker 4: alive after an intruder nearly killed him in his own home.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Hmmm. The thing about that report is it's completely different
- 42:54Speaker 2: than what police have said so far about how this
- 43:00Speaker 2: encounter happened. What's interesting I've seen this reported on where
- 43:04Speaker 2: there's another part where Miguel al mcgerre apparently says we
- 43:07Speaker 2: still don't know what happened when the two of them
- 43:11Speaker 2: were alone in the home for those thirty minutes. But
- 43:14Speaker 2: I didn't hear that part in this news report, but
- 43:18Speaker 2: I've seen it reported on where he apparently adds that.
- 43:21Speaker 2: And the thing about this news report is NBC took
- 43:24Speaker 2: it down and they said.
- 43:26Speaker 3: It's still on YouTube.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Well, it's on YouTube. The link that I put in
- 43:31Speaker 2: the notes is a local news affiliate reporting on the
- 43:36Speaker 2: NBC News report. But NBC News took this report down
- 43:41Speaker 2: from all of their social media and from their YouTube
- 43:44Speaker 2: and said it did not meet their editorial standards and
- 43:47Speaker 2: that the source who provided the information was unreliable and
- 43:51Speaker 2: god damn it, Like this is how conspiracy theories like
- 43:56Speaker 2: this live forever, because how did it get through? Like
- 44:00Speaker 2: how did this make it to television? But now when
- 44:04Speaker 2: people are asking questions, you're like, doesn't meet our standards.
- 44:07Speaker 2: We took it down right, Like, yeah, this is one
- 44:10Speaker 2: of those things that I feel like it requires a
- 44:13Speaker 2: little more explanation that we're never gonna get.
- 44:17Speaker 3: No, probably not. I mean, man, the comments under that
- 44:21Speaker 3: video or.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, a nightmare. But it's shit like this that
- 44:25Speaker 2: keeps conspiracy theories like this burning forever, And I still
- 44:31Speaker 2: don't know how different that version of events would really
- 44:35Speaker 2: make things like at best, Like I guess if it
- 44:39Speaker 2: did point to David de Pate being some kind of
- 44:42Speaker 2: acquaintance with them, I guess it would it would lead
- 44:46Speaker 2: back to that, oh, Paul Pelosi is gay cover up,
- 44:49Speaker 2: which again I don't think anyone would fucking care, Like, yeah,
- 44:53Speaker 2: it like he was. I still mean, did they do
- 44:57Speaker 2: a blood alcohol test on Paul Pelosi? And I fucking
- 45:00Speaker 2: I'm not. I don't say that to be an asshole,
- 45:03Speaker 2: but no, it could very well explain a lot of
- 45:07Speaker 2: his seemingly weird behavior like.
- 45:10Speaker 3: That, Yeah, what I just listened to, Like, if that's
- 45:14Speaker 3: an accurate accounting of events, it doesn't sound like a
- 45:18Speaker 3: gay lover. It sounds like a drunk guy dealing with
- 45:22Speaker 3: a crazy situation. I think that, Like, if I can
- 45:26Speaker 3: an old drunk guy.
- 45:27Speaker 2: If I can add some of my own unfounded conspiracy
- 45:31Speaker 2: theorizing into the mix here, I would say, maybe Paul
- 45:35Speaker 2: Pelosi was drunk, and maybe that's why he was acting
- 45:38Speaker 2: as weird as he was, Like a career alcoholic drinking
- 45:43Speaker 2: himself to sleep on a Saturday night. No, get the
- 45:47Speaker 2: fuck out of here.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Yeah, no, his system was totally clean.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Yeah. And from then, like, who cares if he was
- 45:54Speaker 2: acting weird on the nine to one to one call?
- 45:55Speaker 2: Who cares if he acted weird when the cops showed up?
- 45:58Speaker 2: He was fucking drunk, tired, and eighty two years old.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and maybe already hit with the hammer unclear.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that part I don't know, Like we don't know.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And then like what David de Pate did to keep
- 46:13Speaker 2: him from moving around? Yeah, he might have hit him already.
- 46:16Speaker 3: And like it's a crazy situation, Like, no, one, I
- 46:20Speaker 3: don't think there's any set behavior for a situation like that.
- 46:25Speaker 3: It's very bizarre to be in.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Yeah. So yeah, even if that Miguel Almagarre report is accurate,
- 46:33Speaker 2: I don't think it's gonna change the situation that much. Like, no,
- 46:38Speaker 2: it is weird that they got the reporting that fucking wrong.
- 46:41Speaker 3: But well yeah, and like why do you care that
- 46:45Speaker 3: this guy is gay? If you like, why did would
- 46:48Speaker 3: the right winger care other than that they hate gay people?
- 46:51Speaker 3: Like it's just weird.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Yeah, of all people, right wingers should understand scandals don't
- 46:56Speaker 2: end careers anymore like that, right, Well, that doesn't work well, yeah.
- 47:01Speaker 3: They don't in Republican career.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Right, but this one wouldn't end Nancy Pelosi's career.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Well this is her husband.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it would have no impact on the political
- 47:13Speaker 2: future of this country.
- 47:14Speaker 3: She is to only separate like this would just be
- 47:17Speaker 3: if anything, if it were real, it would be like
- 47:19Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton. Like Hillary gets a total
- 47:23Speaker 3: boost in you know, public favor because she deals with
- 47:27Speaker 3: a cheating husband.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah. So then the last I guess controversy around this
- 47:33Speaker 2: that has erupted most recently. I'm sure by the time
- 47:36Speaker 2: this goes up there will be so much more. But uh,
- 47:39Speaker 2: there's this argument about whether this guy really was a
- 47:42Speaker 2: right winger or whether he's like a secret leftist, which
- 47:46Speaker 2: is of course feeding into the whole false flag narrative.
- 47:50Speaker 2: One thing, we know he's here illegally from Canada, which
- 47:55Speaker 2: I've been saying it again and I'll say it forever.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Build that Northern Wall built, Get that Northern Wall built.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Keep those fucking Canadians out here. We can't talk apart, right,
- 48:07Speaker 2: they're the most dangerous.
- 48:10Speaker 3: They could be one of us.
- 48:11Speaker 2: They just like us.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Uh yeah, make it like out of ice, like like
- 48:17Speaker 3: in games. Yeah. Hold, hey, and now would create jobs
- 48:24Speaker 3: because you'd have to have a bunch of uh iers
- 48:28Speaker 3: garden wall.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah would Uh we could just take all the water
- 48:33Speaker 2: from somewhere that has lots of water, right now.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Yeah, the Great Lakes, drain them.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Drain the lakes. That's our campaign slogan, Drain.
- 48:42Speaker 3: The lakes, trained lakes.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Use them to build the wall. But yeah, one up
- 48:51Speaker 2: and by Canada.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Or build an ice wall between US and Mexico. You
- 48:57Speaker 3: put enough ice there, it'll stay.
- 48:59Speaker 2: How about this right down the center of the United States.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Oh, down the Mississippi.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the fucking wall. I want either that or now,
- 49:10Speaker 2: maybe like right, maybe maybe something to separate us between
- 49:13Speaker 2: north and south.
- 49:15Speaker 3: Sure sure, sure, yeah, no, like something like, uh, one
- 49:19Speaker 3: of the parallels. I feel like it would be good.
- 49:22Speaker 3: We could just like cleanly divide along that.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and we put a wall there. We put one
- 49:30Speaker 2: at the northern border, we put one at the border
- 49:32Speaker 2: with Mexico. We put one on both coasts of course.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you gotta you gotta protect our borders from the coast.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Now we're just the fucking pinball machine of a country.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Walls everywhere were bouncing all over the place.
- 49:47Speaker 3: The giant rolling balls of America. You know, it'll be
- 49:51Speaker 3: one of the new wonders of the world. And then
- 49:54Speaker 3: like the flippers can be like people that could be
- 49:57Speaker 3: more jobs.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Yes, exactly like the readers at Walmart, but like thousands
- 50:02Speaker 2: of them just moving in Unison, in perfect Unison because
- 50:06Speaker 2: we make them so. Yeah, people, because he's from Canada,
- 50:11Speaker 2: he's here illegally. There are a lot of people on
- 50:14Speaker 2: the right who are like, no, this guy was a
- 50:16Speaker 2: leftist and that's why this attack happened. One of the
- 50:19Speaker 2: funniest things that they keep pointing to is the fact
- 50:23Speaker 2: that he is what's called a Castro nudist protester. And
- 50:29Speaker 2: you're getting a lot of people on the right going, oh,
- 50:33Speaker 2: so this Castro supporter is also a Donald Trump supporter,
- 50:40Speaker 2: And it's like, you fucking underheads. They mean the Castro
- 50:44Speaker 2: district in San Francisco, not Fidel Castro. Why would there
- 50:49Speaker 2: be fucking nudists for Fidel Castro. I mean, the climate
- 50:55Speaker 2: in Cuba certainly calls for it.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Good for them, Yeah, but I got no problem with it.
- 51:01Speaker 3: But that's very funny. I just am like, if you're Canadian,
- 51:05Speaker 3: why on earth would you give a shit about Nancy
- 51:09Speaker 3: Pelosi like you you're from Kanada, you get to not care.
- 51:14Speaker 3: That's a privilege that you Yeah.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm always confused by shit like that. But it
- 51:20Speaker 2: seems like he's been He must have been here a
- 51:22Speaker 2: while though. It seems so maybe he's adapted our fucking ways.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Yeah, our ways of hating Nancy Pelosi.
- 51:30Speaker 2: So people on the right are pointing to all that.
- 51:34Speaker 2: There's also an interview with one of his neighbors, and
- 51:37Speaker 2: this neighbor was like, man, he was weird and I
- 51:41Speaker 2: just stayed away from him in general. And they were like, well,
- 51:46Speaker 2: what about his politics? And they were like, I don't know, man,
- 51:48Speaker 2: probably left leaning, but I again, I don't know. I'm
- 51:52Speaker 2: guessing I don't talk to the guy. And they're based
- 51:54Speaker 2: in that on the fact that they're in Berkeley, for
- 51:56Speaker 2: one thing, and this garage he was living in there
- 52:00Speaker 2: was like a Black Lives Matter flag and a Pride
- 52:03Speaker 2: flag nearby, sure, And so that automatically means this guy
- 52:07Speaker 2: is a leftist plant who attacked Paul Pelosi for political
- 52:11Speaker 2: gain with a hammer. And I think this speaks to
- 52:15Speaker 2: kind of the narcissism on both sides, where like, if
- 52:20Speaker 2: you're truly a supporter of the Republican Party or the
- 52:24Speaker 2: Democratic Party. Right now, you have no doubt in your
- 52:27Speaker 2: mind that everyone is either your team or their team.
- 52:32Speaker 2: There's no in between. You're either with us or against us.
- 52:36Speaker 2: And I'm sorry, but there are people out there that
- 52:38Speaker 2: hate you both, that just generally hate the government. Here's
- 52:42Speaker 2: the thing. I don't want to tie up her husband
- 52:45Speaker 2: and break her kneecaps, but I would also like to
- 52:47Speaker 2: ask Nancy Pelosi some questions.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I can think of a few things I think
- 52:54Speaker 3: Nancy Pelosi could do and I would be happy. But like, yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 3: I'm not a Democrat and I'm not a Republican.
- 53:01Speaker 2: I just I don't I think both sides are relatively broken. Yeah,
- 53:07Speaker 2: and I think you got to take into account that
- 53:10Speaker 2: a lot of people think that way too. And this guy, yeah, there,
- 53:13Speaker 2: I even saw a I'll try and find the tweet
- 53:17Speaker 2: or did I find it now? I didn't link to it.
- 53:19Speaker 2: But there's a reporter in San Francisco who people were
- 53:22Speaker 2: asking these questions, and he tweeted that this guy was
- 53:25Speaker 2: the former partner of this woman who's in I think
- 53:28Speaker 2: prison for attempted murder of a child. And cool, he
- 53:32Speaker 2: was like, look, into their past. They're just anti government,
- 53:35Speaker 2: like some people just are anti government in general, and because.
- 53:41Speaker 3: The government wants to interfere with their child murdering or
- 53:45Speaker 3: whatever exactly.
- 53:48Speaker 2: And also this guy's I'm sorry, this guy's crazy, Like
- 53:50Speaker 2: no way, he's clearly got some some mental issues.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's fair, and so I don't I
- 53:58Speaker 3: don't really.
- 53:59Speaker 2: See the point. I mean, I get why both sides
- 54:02Speaker 2: are trying to assign a definitive label to this guy
- 54:06Speaker 2: right for political gain, but it seems kind of pointless
- 54:10Speaker 2: to me, Like in the big scheme of things, the
- 54:12Speaker 2: thing they point to in terms of this guy being
- 54:15Speaker 2: a right winger is all of his blog posts. And
- 54:20Speaker 2: the reason that's not gonna convince anyone is the blog
- 54:24Speaker 2: posts that the Washington Post apparently identified and will link
- 54:28Speaker 2: to an article where they go through those those don't
- 54:31Speaker 2: exist anymore and you can't find them. And all of
- 54:34Speaker 2: the archived blog posts that people have linked to all
- 54:37Speaker 2: have the same date on them. Yeah, and people are like, well,
- 54:41Speaker 2: what the fuck's that about? And according to Vice, he
- 54:45Speaker 2: registered the website that those all went up on in
- 54:48Speaker 2: August of twenty twenty two. And it seems like all
- 54:52Speaker 2: the posts just went up like in a span of
- 54:53Speaker 2: a couple days from there. So he when you're questioning
- 54:58Speaker 2: why they all went on the same day. As someone
- 55:01Speaker 2: who has launched websites before, I know, one thing you
- 55:05Speaker 2: want to try and do is have some content there
- 55:08Speaker 2: already when you launch it, because I think I saw
- 55:11Speaker 2: someone on Twitter say they had to pay to read
- 55:14Speaker 2: his website. So all of these posts, and this is
- 55:17Speaker 2: just me theorizing, but I guess in the non crazy way,
- 55:21Speaker 2: he could have just put all those posts up as
- 55:24Speaker 2: a here's a website launched thing, and he had this
- 55:27Speaker 2: content written and just needed to publish it. And maybe
- 55:31Speaker 2: either wasn't savvy enough to know or the hosting service
- 55:35Speaker 2: he used didn't allow it. But you can like change
- 55:38Speaker 2: the dates a post to make them look like they
- 55:40Speaker 2: went up at different times. But if you're just launching
- 55:43Speaker 2: a website that you just registered that month, if you
- 55:46Speaker 2: put all that content up at the same time, it's
- 55:48Speaker 2: all going to show up as the same date. So again,
- 55:52Speaker 2: I know it looks weird, but it is far from
- 55:55Speaker 2: definitive proof that these blog posts were faked by Antifa, because,
- 55:59Speaker 2: of course or antifa count with Antifa in its name
- 56:03Speaker 2: linked or tweeted out the blog post screenshots.
- 56:06Speaker 3: It is. I mean, I will say, like, it is
- 56:10Speaker 3: kind of weird to have a post called you walk
- 56:13Speaker 3: around telling me what to fuck and what not to fuck,
- 56:16Speaker 3: and then with a link to a YouTube video about
- 56:21Speaker 3: the Pixar movie Brave.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Oh did you read his reviews of Black Adam?
- 56:25Speaker 3: No?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Oh, you got. I'll find those. I cannot put them
- 56:29Speaker 2: in the chat because it'll be another forty five minutes
- 56:32Speaker 2: of silence while you read them, but I'll try and
- 56:35Speaker 2: find it and send it to you. It is long
- 56:37Speaker 2: as shit, and it's all about how that movie is
- 56:40Speaker 2: just about killing white people. So yeah, I don't really
- 56:43Speaker 2: see the value unless you are actually campaigning for office.
- 56:47Speaker 2: I don't really see the value in trying to pin
- 56:50Speaker 2: a political affiliation on this guy. But if those blog
- 56:53Speaker 2: posts are real, he's clearly definitely leaning right these days. Yes,
- 56:58Speaker 2: even if he didn't always would, which is also a possibility.
- 57:01Speaker 3: That happens all the time.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he could have been a leftist at one point
- 57:04Speaker 2: and has now shifted to the right.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Yeah, or libertarian or whatever.
- 57:09Speaker 2: And this is a case where I think I do.
- 57:11Speaker 2: I mean, I always when it involves police, I almost
- 57:15Speaker 2: always want this, But I would like to see the
- 57:17Speaker 2: bodycam footage here, Yeah, because that's all they really need
- 57:21Speaker 2: to do to clear up what happened at the door. Yeah,
- 57:25Speaker 2: and just show it up to the point, like right
- 57:28Speaker 2: before the hammer hits him, just like freeze it right there.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Yeah. I think all bodycam footage should be like on
- 57:35Speaker 3: a website and you could be like you can like
- 57:37Speaker 3: search it by badge number and date and time, like yeah,
- 57:41Speaker 3: every fucking second that a bodycam is on.
- 57:46Speaker 2: That would actually be great. Yes, that is the kind
- 57:49Speaker 2: of police oversight we do actually need. Yes, especially if
- 57:53Speaker 2: you could like go on that website and flag your
- 57:56Speaker 2: own bodycam footage, be like I was in this A
- 58:01Speaker 2: people should look at this.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:03Speaker 2: But yeah, they just need to release the body cam footage.
- 58:05Speaker 2: They did it with the DUI arrest. I accept that
- 58:08Speaker 2: this is a far more high level crime than that duy,
- 58:12Speaker 2: but that's all they gotta do, I think to I mean,
- 58:15Speaker 2: and it's still like they'll be like, what it takes
- 58:17Speaker 2: a long body camp footage is edited, Like, it's still
- 58:21Speaker 2: not It's still not going to satisfy anyone's concerns. But
- 58:26Speaker 2: on the bright side, we might not even still be
- 58:28Speaker 2: a country by then, because like again, this comes out
- 58:32Speaker 2: the day the midterms are happening. Who knows what kind
- 58:34Speaker 2: of fires are going to start in light of all that,
- 58:37Speaker 2: So by the time this goes up, we might not
- 58:40Speaker 2: even care anymore. I mean I already Paul Pelosi is fine,
- 58:44Speaker 2: so I already don't care. It's like when someone falls
- 58:48Speaker 2: on ice, like you have to pause and make sure
- 58:50Speaker 2: they didn't break a hip, and then you get to life. Like,
- 58:54Speaker 2: I'm not going to laugh, but I'm also like kinda
- 58:56Speaker 2: over this story already.
- 58:59Speaker 3: Yeah, one at it, Yeah, exactly. Well, this is just
- 59:03Speaker 3: one of those that I'm basically not on Twitter anymore,
- 59:07Speaker 3: and this whole story just passed me by. Uh and
- 59:11Speaker 3: I feel like my life was richer for that.
- 59:15Speaker 2: That's that's what we do here. We try to unriching lives.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Got a word.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Unriching, unenriching, disenriching.
- 59:27Speaker 2: We like the d and rich around here. So I
- 59:32Speaker 2: think that's our episode, right. We got a lot more,
- 59:35Speaker 2: We got a lot more minutes out of this than
- 59:37Speaker 2: I expected.
- 59:38Speaker 3: It's weird. It's a weird story.
- 59:40Speaker 2: It's a weird one. It's the the Miguel al mcgare
- 59:42Speaker 2: thing just fucking blows everything up and I hate that
- 59:45Speaker 2: so much. God damn NBC be better.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Fucking local affiliates are the fucking worst.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Like but no, Miguel Almaghare was no.
- 59:55Speaker 3: But it's still online because of the local affiliates.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Right, yeah, good time, good times? Who all Right? So
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: I think that's our episode. Thank you everyone for listening. Uh,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: what do we have to plug? I have Adam Todd
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Brown dot substack dot com. That is where you can
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: read my writings. I also write a lot. That's what
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I did to start my career. Everything's free for right now.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: I'll put that paywall up eventually, but I'm getting back
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: in the groove, so go check it out. No matter
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: what podcast you listen to, there's stuff there for you.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: You don't want to read about the Bobby Kennedy assassination
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: souvenir program. I bought it the Reagan Library. Sure you do,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: go read.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: About it, Yeah you do. It's weird.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: And also going back our loss Rewatch podcast, there was
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: a new episode up last week. We're we're heading for home.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: We're getting getting close to finishing season one, so that'll
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: be out publicly soon also, but you can also subscribe
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: to bonus episode and here it right now, and we

- 1:01:09Speaker 3: I mean going back, and also I mean you can
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: follow me on Twitter if you want, if you want
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: to see me, retweet this podcast. And that's it. I mean, no,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: not really. I'm I'm busy. I got so much shit.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: I'm failing tests left and right, like I gotta, I
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: gotta be a bad student. Take Olivia's online.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Someone volunteer to take Olivia's tests.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Yeah, if someone, Yeah, that would be great. I bet
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: that would work.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Yeah, of course. So I think that's it. Let's get
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: out of here, Olivia say goodbye, bye, goodbye everybody. We
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: love you.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: People started being strong
