- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show on seven Arms.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well, you know what, they get to this hour. We'll
- 0:09Speaker 2: get to everybody Loves Raymond. In a second, we'll get
- 0:11Speaker 2: to Epstein, We'll get to Mom Donnie. Just want to
- 0:14Speaker 2: warn everybody there's a horrible, horrible guy who's unleashing a
- 0:19Speaker 2: political campaign. He wants to run for Jerry Nadler's house seat.
- 0:25Speaker 2: It's Jack Schlossberg. He's the only grandson of John F. Kennedy.
- 0:30Speaker 2: He is the son of Caroline Kennedy. He's just an awful,
- 0:39Speaker 2: awful kid with He's had an Instagram account and a
- 0:42Speaker 2: TikTok where he just said the most disgusting, awful things.
- 0:45Speaker 2: He's to the left of Mom Donnie. He's just a horrible, horrible,
- 0:49Speaker 2: awful guy. Here's the veteran political strategist, Hank Schinkoff says,
- 0:54Speaker 2: the whole idea of his campaign is ridiculous. He has
- 0:58Speaker 2: absolutely no qualify ocations, which makes him perfect to run
- 1:01Speaker 2: as a Democrat. But he's imitating John F. Kennedy Junior
- 1:06Speaker 2: by dressing like him, photographs of him riding his bike
- 1:11Speaker 2: around Manhattan like just like jfk Jr. And jfk Jr.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Was a friend of mine. He was a wonderful guy,
- 1:19Speaker 2: a wonderful guy. His sister I didn't know, but she
- 1:23Speaker 2: always seemed unpleasant whenever you were around her. And her
- 1:26Speaker 2: husband was a terrible guy, just awful. And this is
- 1:30Speaker 2: the son of Caroline and what's the husband's name, Edge Schlossberg,
- 1:35Speaker 2: something like that. So again he's just awful. If you
- 1:41Speaker 2: go back and check his early Instagram YouTube, TikTok saying awful,
- 1:46Speaker 2: terrible thing, he's just an awful guy. He's how old
- 1:50Speaker 2: is see? I think he's a young guy in his twenties.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So he's been inspired by mom Donnie. He wants to
- 1:56Speaker 2: run for Jerry Nadler's old seat. Now I'm saying, how
- 2:00Speaker 2: awfully is Nadler was about as low as you can
- 2:02Speaker 2: sink as a human being. So it's not like it's
- 2:06Speaker 2: not like seats getting any worse. But here's Schlosberg, his
- 2:09Speaker 2: big announcement, two.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And fifty years after America was founded, And our country
- 2:13Speaker 3: is at a turning point. It's a crisis at every level,
- 2:17Speaker 3: a cost of living crisis sponsored by the Big Beautiful Bill,
- 2:21Speaker 3: historic cuts to social programs, working families rely on healthcare, education.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it this sounds pretty bad. But you got to
- 2:31Speaker 2: watch the early Instagram TikTok stuff he did. It's just him, yell,
- 2:34Speaker 2: it's the real Hammy. This is him being formal, and
- 2:37Speaker 2: he still sounds terrible. This guy is like he's mom
- 2:40Speaker 2: Donnie with half the IQ.
- 2:41Speaker 3: We deserve better and we can do better. And it
- 2:44Speaker 3: starts with the Democratic Party winning back control of the
- 2:47Speaker 3: House of Representatives. With control of Congress, there's nothing we
- 2:51Speaker 3: can't do without it, We're helpless to a third turn encounter.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Great, you know, I mean, so, now the problem is
- 2:59Speaker 2: whoever runs against him. Ken go back and get that
- 3:02Speaker 2: old Instagram stuff, those videos he did where he just
- 3:04Speaker 2: says all kinds of awful things and just run them
- 3:06Speaker 2: against him. However, it's Nadler's district. It was jerry mandred,
- 3:10Speaker 2: so no Republican has a shot, but hopefully Democrats will
- 3:13Speaker 2: keep him away from the nomination.
- 3:15Speaker 3: My name is Jack Flossberg, and I'm running for Congress
- 3:18Speaker 3: to represent my home New York's twelfth Congressional district, where
- 3:23Speaker 3: I was born and raised, where I took the bus
- 3:25Speaker 3: to school every single day from one side of the
- 3:27Speaker 3: district to the other.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Okay, thank you, can I mentioned that guy that talks
- 3:32Speaker 2: like that, right, Well, he's being formal. You got to
- 3:34Speaker 2: go back and watch his TikTok on Instagram where he's
- 3:38Speaker 2: just raging like a like a nut. Hey mom. Donnie's
- 3:41Speaker 2: been doing a few interviews, one yesterday where he sounded
- 3:46Speaker 2: more definite about keeping Jessica tish. You know, he said
- 3:53Speaker 2: the earlier interviews he was open to it, but this
- 3:55Speaker 2: was more like, that's my plan. My plan is to
- 3:59Speaker 2: sew We'll see what she wants to do. If he's
- 4:02Speaker 2: going to try to take control of her or push
- 4:05Speaker 2: her to do things she doesn't want, she'll leave in
- 4:07Speaker 2: a second. She doesn't need to stay there, so we'll see.
- 4:11Speaker 2: We'll see what happens with that. He also had with him. Now,
- 4:14Speaker 2: this is a TV interview with Channel four. He's being
- 4:17Speaker 2: interviewed and he's going to sit right there and do
- 4:18Speaker 2: the interview. But next to him is Dean full of Han.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Keep an eye on this guy. This is his first
- 4:23Speaker 2: deputy mayor, and it was interesting that he had him
- 4:26Speaker 2: sit with him at the interview. So this guy's going
- 4:28Speaker 2: to play a big role. Now, this is not the
- 4:31Speaker 2: guy you want running city hall either, because he's a
- 4:33Speaker 2: crazy left winger. But he was Deblasio's first deputy mayor
- 4:38Speaker 2: for many years. So as we keep telling you, this
- 4:42Speaker 2: could be just a repeat of Deblasio, which wasn't great.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Obviously was terrible. New York declined under Deblasio, but we
- 4:49Speaker 2: got through it. We got through eight years at Deblasio.
- 4:52Speaker 2: So he's brought in this guy full of Hand and
- 4:55Speaker 2: had him right next to him in the interview. And
- 4:57Speaker 2: I noticed tonight Full of Hand's doing his own in
- 5:00Speaker 2: interview New York one. Nobody sees New York one. But
- 5:02Speaker 2: it's interesting that that he would let Full of Hand
- 5:06Speaker 2: do all these interviews. So this guy's gonna have a
- 5:08Speaker 2: lot of clout. Now, the bad news of this fool
- 5:11Speaker 2: of hand Dean full of Hand, however you say his name,
- 5:15Speaker 2: he's got a lot of clout in Albany, nobody better
- 5:18Speaker 2: connected plugged into the legislature of the Assembly. So if
- 5:22Speaker 2: you need to get stuff passed, this is a guy
- 5:25Speaker 2: that can get stuff done up there. So that means
- 5:28Speaker 2: Mom Donnie would have some influence up there with him. Now.
- 5:32Speaker 2: The other interesting thing is Mam Donnie actually asked about Trump.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Mam Donnie said he will reach out to Trump. He
- 5:40Speaker 2: said it's a crucial relationship. This is quite a concession
- 5:43Speaker 2: on his part. Remember before the election, I'll fight Trump,
- 5:46Speaker 2: I'll battle Trump. I would never talk to you. Well,
- 5:48Speaker 2: now the election's over, he says, it's a crucial relationship,
- 5:52Speaker 2: I will reach out to him. So when they reported it,
- 5:57Speaker 2: well you talk to Trump, Well, I'll reach out to
- 5:58Speaker 2: the White House. Now what all that mean. Well, if
- 6:02Speaker 2: he tries to talk to Trump, I don't think Trump
- 6:03Speaker 2: would talk to him. Usually, the way this stuff goes,
- 6:07Speaker 2: he'll reach out to the White House and get a meeting,
- 6:10Speaker 2: but the meeting will be with someone else first. Probably
- 6:13Speaker 2: Susie Wiles will meet with him. Chief of staff. She'll
- 6:16Speaker 2: have the meeting with him, and then they'll see how
- 6:19Speaker 2: that goes, and then that will lead to probably not
- 6:21Speaker 2: a meeting with Trump because neither of them would want
- 6:24Speaker 2: that photograph out. But if it goes well with Susie Wiles,
- 6:28Speaker 2: it will lead to a phone call with Trump and
- 6:30Speaker 2: they'll talk and see if they can listen. They're not
- 6:33Speaker 2: going to be friends, but they'll see if they can
- 6:35Speaker 2: come out to some kind of an arrangement, some kind
- 6:38Speaker 2: of relationship where they could at least be civil with
- 6:41Speaker 2: each other. He was asked about parades and things. You know,
- 6:45Speaker 2: he didn't show up for the Veteran's Day parade. Is
- 6:47Speaker 2: he going to go to parades? You got to remember
- 6:50Speaker 2: he certainly you're not gonna seem with the Israeli Day parade.
- 6:52Speaker 2: There's a lot of parades you won't see this guy
- 6:54Speaker 2: at and he was asked about it.
- 6:56Speaker 4: There are many parades that I would not be attending
- 6:58Speaker 4: because I'd be focusing on the work of leading the city.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's focused, focused. You want to see some focus,
- 7:04Speaker 2: watch this guy. But the parades are on Sunday. You
- 7:06Speaker 2: don't have to focus on Sunday. And what he's really
- 7:09Speaker 2: saying is I hate these people. I'm not going to
- 7:11Speaker 2: their parade. Hey, Mikey. Cheryl who won the governor's race,
- 7:16Speaker 2: there's a lot of people analyzing how she did it.
- 7:19Speaker 2: People thought Sheitarelly was a great candidate. He was Okay,
- 7:22Speaker 2: he wasn't a great candidate. The truth of the matter,
- 7:25Speaker 2: she had a lot more charm than he did, despite
- 7:28Speaker 2: her lying, despite her insider trading, despite her Navy scandal,
- 7:33Speaker 2: despite her her horrible positions on things, her terrible positions,
- 7:38Speaker 2: despite her bad record. Still, you know, even when she
- 7:41Speaker 2: was lying and conning it, she still had more charm
- 7:44Speaker 2: than Schlosburg. He was kind of a charmless guy. I'm
- 7:47Speaker 2: sure he's a nice guy. He just didn't have the
- 7:49Speaker 2: personality you need. But Politico and others doing these examinations
- 7:54Speaker 2: of how she won, her incredible strategy with social media,
- 7:58Speaker 2: her staying on met her media strategy. Now here's what's
- 8:04Speaker 2: going to happen twenty twenty eight. Looks at this point
- 8:08Speaker 2: like Gavin Newsom is way out in front right now,
- 8:13Speaker 2: he's the nominee in twenty twenty eight. Of course, a
- 8:15Speaker 2: lot can happen. It's a couple of years away, so
- 8:17Speaker 2: a lot could happen. But right now it's Gavin Newsom
- 8:20Speaker 2: and Mikey Cheryl wants to be the VP candidate. Newsom
- 8:24Speaker 2: Cheryl California, New Jersey, West Coast, East Coast ticket. That's
- 8:29Speaker 2: what they're looking at. Newsom way out in front. Now,
- 8:32Speaker 2: this is what they call the shadow primary. It doesn't
- 8:35Speaker 2: mean much now now you go back in a lot
- 8:37Speaker 2: of campaigns, there was one guy that was way out
- 8:39Speaker 2: in front, the obvious one. But that was so early
- 8:42Speaker 2: that by the time it got to that election year,
- 8:45Speaker 2: somebody else rose up. But one thing about being the
- 8:49Speaker 2: shadow primary winner is you can raise a lot of money.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So Newsom will spend a lot of time raising money
- 8:55Speaker 2: and look for Mikey Cheryl to get involved with Newsom
- 8:59Speaker 2: somehow she wants to be the VP candidate. Just heard
- 9:04Speaker 2: on the news Eric Adams said he will be traveling.
- 9:07Speaker 2: He's going to Israel and he wants to do more travel,
- 9:10Speaker 2: and he wants to write a book, and he wants
- 9:13Speaker 2: to do a documentary. And he said he's going to
- 9:15Speaker 2: go back to school and get his doctor at a PhD.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I don't know that way he'd be a doctor. I'm
- 9:24Speaker 2: doctor Eric. It's not going to sound good. First of all,
- 9:28Speaker 2: anytime you hear PhD, you'll lose all respect for the person.
- 9:32Speaker 2: It means they spent too many years in school. If
- 9:38Speaker 2: you said to somebody, Hey, the guy over there, he's
- 9:40Speaker 2: a PhD. Do you say to your oh, I got
- 9:42Speaker 2: to talk to him. No, you run the other way.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Who wants to talk to him? But Adams will find
- 9:48Speaker 2: things to do. He's going to do a lot of traveling.
- 9:51Speaker 2: He's very good at profiting off other countries, you know, Turkey, whatever,
- 9:55Speaker 2: So he'll be doing a lot of traveling, see what
- 9:57Speaker 2: he can pick up over there. Everybody loves Raymond. I
- 10:03Speaker 2: love that show. I still watch it every night. They
- 10:05Speaker 2: have these marathons every night. Everybody loves Raymond marathons. And
- 10:11Speaker 2: I could watch that show over and if it's absolutely timeless,
- 10:13Speaker 2: it holds up well. You know, I was trying to think,
- 10:15Speaker 2: why does this hold up so much better than other sitcoms. Well,
- 10:18Speaker 2: the guys that put it together, Ray Romano and Phil
- 10:22Speaker 2: what's his name Rosenthal and the other guys say one thing.
- 10:25Speaker 2: They say they were very careful not to put any
- 10:29Speaker 2: technology in the show. They don't show him on the phone.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You never see him pick up his phone once. All
- 10:35Speaker 2: they have to. But you generally don't see any computers,
- 10:37Speaker 2: any phones, you don't see the TV, you don't see
- 10:40Speaker 2: any of that. So and they did that deliberately because
- 10:43Speaker 2: they didn't want to look outdated. You know, when you
- 10:45Speaker 2: watch Seinfeld and he's got an answering machine and a
- 10:50Speaker 2: you know, a regular desk telephone, and you see his computer,
- 10:53Speaker 2: it's like a primitive, primitive computer. It looks so outdated,
- 10:58Speaker 2: but they were very careful to keep it that way,
- 11:01Speaker 2: so it looks absolutely timeless. You can watch it over
- 11:05Speaker 2: and over again. But they're going to do this thirtieth
- 11:07Speaker 2: anniversary sure, yeah, believe it or not. Thirty years since
- 11:09Speaker 2: Everybody Loves Raymond started nineteen ninety six. This special will
- 11:14Speaker 2: be ninety minutes now. One reason they're doing this is
- 11:17Speaker 2: TV has run out of money. Primetime TV has very
- 11:20Speaker 2: few viewers. A primetime show used to get twenty thirty
- 11:23Speaker 2: million viewers. Now it's one million, two million, so that's
- 11:27Speaker 2: less revenue, that's a smaller budget. All they can afford
- 11:30Speaker 2: now are game shows, and these documentaries are cheap to do.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Last night, you might have seen that Golden Girls special reunion.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Well they're no longer with us, but people talking about it.
- 11:41Speaker 2: This Everybody Loves Raymond will be a reunion. They rebuilt
- 11:44Speaker 2: the or they found the original set the living room
- 11:47Speaker 2: in the house, and they're going to all go back.
- 11:49Speaker 2: The cast gets back together. Now. The problem is the
- 11:53Speaker 2: two of the most key players, the mother and the father,
- 11:56Speaker 2: are dead. They're no longer so they're not going to
- 11:57Speaker 2: be in it, but there'll be a lot of clips.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It'll be ninety minutes long. They got to fill time.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It's really cheap to do these reunion shows. Ninety minutes
- 12:07Speaker 2: will fill an hour and a half. So they can't
- 12:09Speaker 2: afford to do dramas or sitcoms anymore, too expensive to do.
- 12:14Speaker 2: But November twenty fourth, keep an eye out for that. Hey,
- 12:19Speaker 2: you ever use open table to make a reservation. A
- 12:22Speaker 2: lot of people use open table. You know they're spying
- 12:26Speaker 2: on you. Open table keeps track of everything you do.
- 12:29Speaker 2: So you make a reservation, open table, you go to
- 12:31Speaker 2: the restaurant. You do this all the time. Open table
- 12:34Speaker 2: compiles data from the restaurants. What you ordered, how you behaved,
- 12:41Speaker 2: if you gave the restaurant, any problems the staff, any
- 12:44Speaker 2: problems where you rude, where you're a good tipper, what
- 12:47Speaker 2: did you spend? All that kind of stuff goes into
- 12:52Speaker 2: a big, big open table file and then you kind
- 12:55Speaker 2: of get a rating. So when you make the reservation,
- 12:59Speaker 2: the restaurant can look you over. If you're a real problem,
- 13:01Speaker 2: they can cancel your reservation, or they can look at it.
- 13:05Speaker 2: See what kind of customer you are? Always a big drinker,
- 13:07Speaker 2: big wine drinker. Oh there's all kinds of fancy went, well,
- 13:10Speaker 2: we'll see them next to the wine cellar. That kind
- 13:12Speaker 2: of stuff. It's kind of like uber You know you
- 13:16Speaker 2: got a rating the uh you know the driver. Sometimes
- 13:20Speaker 2: you get a you try to get an uber. One
- 13:22Speaker 2: person tries, oh, there are no cars available. It's twenty minutes.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Someone else tries one minute, they'll be right there. It's
- 13:29Speaker 2: because that person has a higher rating as a passenger.
- 13:33Speaker 2: The uber driver sees your rating. You got a five,
- 13:35Speaker 2: we'll be right there. You got a two. Let somebody
- 13:38Speaker 2: else take this one. So just remember that when you
- 13:43Speaker 2: use open table. So if you're going to go to
- 13:45Speaker 2: a restaurant, get drunk and be rude, make the reservation
- 13:48Speaker 2: on the phone, don't put it on an open table.
- 13:50Speaker 2: That way it won't be recorded there. So hey, we'll
- 13:53Speaker 2: take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two
- 13:55Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Hey, check out
- 13:58Speaker 2: my instagram if you didn't see it. The actual Johnny
- 14:02Speaker 2: Carson desk from the Tonight Show. The actual set was
- 14:05Speaker 2: at the Paley Museum, a wonderful museum you should visit.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But I went over there and sat in the Carson desk,
- 14:11Speaker 2: the actual Johnny Carson desk. The pictures up on Instagram.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Mark Simone Nyc at Instagram. Mark Simone Nyc at Instagram.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Also I'll be on Cudlow later today between four and
- 14:24Speaker 2: five on the Fox Business Network. But we'll take some
- 14:27Speaker 2: calls next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Now more Mark Simone on sevent tenor.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Well, let's take some calls. Let's go to Oh, Richie Gold,
- 14:41Speaker 2: the great comedian then Connecticut Richie Gold? How are you
- 14:46Speaker 2: Grood Mark?
- 14:47Speaker 5: How are you used to taking my call? Great show
- 14:50Speaker 5: as usual? As listened to Alan's wid great comedy writer.
- 14:54Speaker 5: I remember him going back years when he used to
- 14:56Speaker 5: work for Saturday Night Lives.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Now he's writing on music Broadway play about Rodney Dainsfield.
- 15:01Speaker 2: You must have worked with Rodney.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Yeah, let me tell you something coincially how thinking minds
- 15:07Speaker 5: comic minds parallel? Tony? You know Tony Bovoka.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Was Tonya who is the owner of Dangerfields. Who's uh
- 15:15Speaker 2: out there in Long Island lives near Bill O'Reilly? Actually
- 15:18Speaker 2: Tony Bovaqua, great guy.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right. So listen to this. Tony and I
- 15:22Speaker 5: have been working on a movie script talking about writing
- 15:26Speaker 5: about Rodney Dangerfields and the birth of the Dangerfield Club.
- 15:31Speaker 5: And it has all the elements of of what happened
- 15:34Speaker 5: to the club that people that try to influence it
- 15:36Speaker 5: one way or the others. To talk about Rodney's history
- 15:39Speaker 5: and Tony how they got together working the you know
- 15:41Speaker 5: the small rooms. Yeah, there's a they downstairs. Blah blah blah.
- 15:45Speaker 5: So it just shows you out, was mister Alabel, And
- 15:49Speaker 5: I said, Tony and I are writing a movie about this.
- 15:51Speaker 5: He's doing a Broadway play and Tony and I are
- 15:53Speaker 5: writing a movie about Rodney and Tony how they came
- 15:56Speaker 5: together and developed this idea for danger.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Ton A Vaca was a bass player and they played together,
- 16:02Speaker 2: Rodney and him in the living room. And when Rodney
- 16:04Speaker 2: opened the club, he got Tony to be the the
- 16:06Speaker 2: guy run the club, and he turned out to be
- 16:08Speaker 2: brilliant at running a club, a comedy club.
- 16:11Speaker 5: So, yeah, you used to hang out here. I remember you, Rodney.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Everybody used to hang out at that club. He was
- 16:16Speaker 5: the in place to be and opened the nineteen sixty
- 16:19Speaker 5: nine and a lamp was fifteen years straight. So you
- 16:22Speaker 5: were there during a hey day. I remember Mark.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Well, uh yeah, keeping well, keep in touch with me,
- 16:28Speaker 2: or I'll put you together with his wife Belle. Maybe
- 16:30Speaker 2: you guys can work together or something like that.
- 16:32Speaker 5: You never know, because Tony the anxious and he knows that.
- 16:35Speaker 5: In fact, Zwibel used to rife for Roder So there's
- 16:38Speaker 5: a whole views.
- 16:40Speaker 2: All right, well we'll we'll work out a meeting for
- 16:43Speaker 2: all everybody get involved in a richie. Thanks for calling.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Let's go to uh also Connecticut, Gideon and Greenwich. Is
- 16:49Speaker 2: this Gideon Fountain?
- 16:52Speaker 6: Yes?
- 16:52Speaker 2: I know this guy, Yes you do.
- 16:55Speaker 7: In fact, I saw I just ran into John Katzimatidi
- 16:59Speaker 7: the Pierre Hotel for that Hudson Institute. Yea yearly event
- 17:04Speaker 7: with Rubert Murdoch. With there, I said a cat's matins.
- 17:08Speaker 7: You should acquire Mark Simone. But of course you have
- 17:11Speaker 7: to stay at w R.
- 17:12Speaker 2: This is iHeart. This is like being in the New
- 17:14Speaker 2: York Yankees. This is the biggest best radio company in
- 17:17Speaker 2: the world. Yeah, don't you don't you have the radio
- 17:21Speaker 2: station in Greenwich?
- 17:23Speaker 5: I do.
- 17:24Speaker 7: In fact I even said to thanks Mark. If I
- 17:26Speaker 7: said to John, hey you want to buy a radio station,
- 17:28Speaker 7: he wanted to know how many watts and you know
- 17:30Speaker 7: that kind of thing. So maybe he's interested.
- 17:32Speaker 2: That's a good station. W g H, very good station.
- 17:35Speaker 2: What's the guy there, Bob.
- 17:36Speaker 7: We've had you, We've had you there, I've Ben.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I guess who's that nice guy that works there, Bob Small.
- 17:41Speaker 7: Bob Small. October twelfth is Bob Small Day in Greenwich
- 17:46Speaker 7: every year.
- 17:46Speaker 2: All right, well, thanks for calling great stuff. Let's go
- 17:50Speaker 2: to uh. Let's go to Aaron in Indianapolis. Aaron, how
- 17:54Speaker 2: you doing?
- 17:55Speaker 5: Good morning?
- 17:56Speaker 6: Mark?
- 17:57Speaker 5: Speaking of Rodney Dangerfield, I have the play as seeing
- 18:00Speaker 5: him do a couple of shows in Indianapolis back in
- 18:03Speaker 5: his day.
- 18:04Speaker 7: And oh those were just awesome shows.
- 18:07Speaker 2: And you didn't have to wander backstage, did you?
- 18:10Speaker 5: No?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Oh? Good good, Because when Rodney was on the road,
- 18:14Speaker 2: things were going on back there you wouldn't want to
- 18:16Speaker 2: know about. Rodney had quite a private life going on there.
- 18:20Speaker 5: That's right, that's right.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I'm editing myself. I'm uh, well, one day we'll tell
- 18:28Speaker 2: stories about Rodney, but not not right now. Let's go
- 18:32Speaker 2: to uh Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent, how.
- 18:34Speaker 6: Are you doing? Good morning, Mark. You're cracking me up
- 18:37Speaker 6: as usual.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I'll tell you what Rodney I don't want to. He
- 18:40Speaker 2: was playing a big place in Massachusetts and he told
- 18:43Speaker 2: the agent I need a bed in the dressing room,
- 18:46Speaker 2: and guy, my god, the guy arranged for a bed,
- 18:48Speaker 2: but the agent called him he said, listen, there's a
- 18:51Speaker 2: problem that it's right next to the kitchen. It's very noisy.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I don't know if you can be able to sleep.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Dangers sleep. I'm not gonna be sleeping.
- 18:59Speaker 6: He's gonna ted Kennedy. Will added Chris Doddy, you know
- 19:03Speaker 6: what I mean, Okay, Mark. Last week a lot of
- 19:07Speaker 6: these crazy Democrats were making the New Jersey election and
- 19:12Speaker 6: Virginia election a rebuttal of Trump's policies. It was never
- 19:18Speaker 6: such thing. Mclaroney, Jack CHATTERERELLI could run a much better campaign.
- 19:26Speaker 6: He was trying to stick too many points into like
- 19:30Speaker 6: fifteen seconds. None of these candidates, even in New York,
- 19:34Speaker 6: really explain why things are very high, why rent is high,
- 19:42Speaker 6: why things are seemingly unaffordable, and win some sears. Although
- 19:47Speaker 6: a good candidate, she was not a Glen Youngkin. When
- 19:51Speaker 6: Glen Youngkin would go on stage, literally he reminded me
- 19:55Speaker 6: in many ways like Johnny Cossidy. He would own the stage.
- 20:00Speaker 6: And that's probably because the guy is a businessman. He's
- 20:05Speaker 6: used to being around people, high powered people selling his
- 20:10Speaker 6: products and everything. Mark, yesterday we spoke about Curtis saying
- 20:15Speaker 6: he's gonna stay in the fight. He's gonna He's in
- 20:17Speaker 6: it to win it. Mark Curtis has to say that
- 20:22Speaker 6: if Curtis doesn't stay in the fight with the Guardian Angels,
- 20:26Speaker 6: he will become irrelevant. He's almost irrelevant.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Curtis is never irrelevant. Curtis has been a fixture for
- 20:35Speaker 2: thirty years.
- 20:36Speaker 6: No, I'm not. I don't mean in the fact that
- 20:39Speaker 6: people are gonna forget who he is. But right now
- 20:43Speaker 6: that's the only thing he's got.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You know, I should have say it, but I hate
- 20:48Speaker 2: to say. But when a guy like Mamdani comes into office,
- 20:50Speaker 2: it's good for Curtis. Becau's more crime, he can be
- 20:52Speaker 2: more of a time. No, it's good for us. It's
- 20:54Speaker 2: like another pandemic. You know, we got our highest ratings
- 20:57Speaker 2: when pandemic people are scared. They turned to the radio.
- 21:00Speaker 6: Exactly, he could be like, he could be like a pitbull.
- 21:03Speaker 6: He could all be nipping at his ankles all the time.
- 21:06Speaker 6: And that's where it's really good. But you know, the
- 21:10Speaker 6: first time I got a few seconds, all right, the
- 21:14Speaker 6: first time the Democrats are won Virginia, they would claim
- 21:18Speaker 6: that Virginia is the southernmost northern state and that when
- 21:23Speaker 6: a Republican winn it. They would say, it's the southernmost
- 21:27Speaker 6: northern state.
- 21:28Speaker 2: That's a good point. All right, Vincent, thanks for calling,
- 21:31Speaker 2: great call. Got to take a break for the news,
- 21:33Speaker 2: get caught up on everything, and then when we come back,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and Culter will be with us next on seven to ten.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Wr Mark her Well and Culture the best selling author
- 21:48Speaker 2: of the great Columnists. Make sure you follow her on Twitter. Hey,
- 21:51Speaker 2: even better substack where you can see she's got interviews
- 21:54Speaker 2: and podcasts and all sorts of stuff and culture dot
- 21:58Speaker 2: sub stack and Culter, how you doing fantastic?
- 22:03Speaker 4: How are you Marximone?
- 22:05Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm good. Hey, let me this. You see Berkeley,
- 22:10Speaker 2: this's a terrible college. There's a turning point event there.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yesterday Antifa gets violent, goes crazy. University didn't have enough protection,
- 22:19Speaker 2: everybody says when it's a liberal speaker, to make sure
- 22:22Speaker 2: there's plenty of security. But not for this one. Justice
- 22:26Speaker 2: Department now taking a look at going after them. You
- 22:29Speaker 2: speak at all these colleges, what is wrong with them?
- 22:32Speaker 4: Well, you remember, they should have sent the nationally they
- 22:36Speaker 4: Trump should have sent the national guard when Berkeley shut
- 22:41Speaker 4: down my speech, and I think think it was twenty seventeen.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I went back the next year, but I had the
- 22:47Speaker 4: Proud Boys protecting me. That was November twenty nineteen, and
- 22:52Speaker 4: several thousand ANTIFA showed up. Yeah, don't expect local lawn enforcement.
- 23:01Speaker 4: I've directed not to protect or the campus security to
- 23:04Speaker 4: protect you. Trump should have done this long ago. It
- 23:07Speaker 4: should have done it when it started. Listened to Senator
- 23:09Speaker 4: Tom Cotton, this is these these are state universities. That's
- 23:15Speaker 4: why we have civil rights laws because states, certain states
- 23:21Speaker 4: back then, the Democrat states of the old Confederacy, weren't
- 23:25Speaker 4: enforcing the rights of black Americans. That's why we have
- 23:30Speaker 4: the ability of the federal government. Well, even from the
- 23:32Speaker 4: beginning of our country, the very reason we have a
- 23:35Speaker 4: constitution and a strong president was to put down mob actions,
- 23:40Speaker 4: criminal behavior in our country. Surprisingly enough, the founding fathers
- 23:45Speaker 4: were not thinking about, you know, what can we do
- 23:49Speaker 4: to help Syria or Ukraine. It was to protect our country.
- 23:54Speaker 4: And you know, Trump should have been doing this from
- 23:56Speaker 4: the beginning, and it wouldn't keep happening. I'm glad he's
- 23:58Speaker 4: sending in national goal hard to protect ice agents. But
- 24:01Speaker 4: when this happens on college campuses, particularly college campuses, that
- 24:06Speaker 4: are state institutions, though according to Supreme Court rulings, even
- 24:10Speaker 4: private colleges have to have to But be well, all
- 24:15Speaker 4: everybody has to obey federal law. But federal troops could
- 24:19Speaker 4: go in and enforce things against private university because of
- 24:22Speaker 4: all the money they've taken student daid and research money.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Well, the good news is Antife has now been officially
- 24:27Speaker 2: declared a terrorist group. This Department of Justice letters are
- 24:31Speaker 2: going after UC Berkeley for allowing terrorism on the campus.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And this will allow the Department Justice a really step
- 24:39Speaker 2: in and do something.
- 24:39Speaker 4: But well, they ought to. This is something I mean,
- 24:44Speaker 4: this is why a lot of people like me support
- 24:48Speaker 4: this idea of America First, we're constantly solving the rest
- 24:52Speaker 4: of the world's problems. We're constantly getting Americans. The news media, oh,
- 24:57Speaker 4: focus on what's going on in Europe. Now, what's going
- 25:00Speaker 4: on in the Middle East, and what's going on in
- 25:02Speaker 4: the Balkans. Can we please pay attention to what's going
- 25:05Speaker 4: on to Americans because our country is in trouble and
- 25:09Speaker 4: this is what we expected Trump to do. Put our
- 25:11Speaker 4: interests first.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yes, the shutdown Democrats what a victory? Huh? Could you
- 25:17Speaker 2: tell me what they achieved with the shutdown, yet it did.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Not work well and the argument they're making and Republicans
- 25:25Speaker 4: are going to have to learn to navigate this. Although sorry,
- 25:28Speaker 4: let's let's pause for a moment to celebrate what knuckleheads
- 25:31Speaker 4: the Democrats look like. No one has ever wont to
- 25:35Speaker 4: shut down, so I don't know why they would think
- 25:38Speaker 4: they could win this one. But they're thinking, oh, because
- 25:40Speaker 4: they want to keep subsidizing Americans healthcare. I've always thought
- 25:46Speaker 4: Republicans are too afraid of this issue. Their voters are
- 25:51Speaker 4: not made up of welfare recipients. There may be some
- 25:55Speaker 4: Trump voters who have had your ali in public assistance
- 25:57Speaker 4: for a time or but this permanent underclass, just generation
- 26:04Speaker 4: after generation after generation living on welfare, having other Americans
- 26:07Speaker 4: pay for them, pay for their food, pay for their
- 26:11Speaker 4: health care. I think senators like Josh Holly are making
- 26:15Speaker 4: a big mistake acting like, oh, yeah, this is the
- 26:18Speaker 4: Trump base. No, you're insulting the Trump base. It isn't true,
- 26:22Speaker 4: and I think most Americans are sick of paying for
- 26:25Speaker 4: other people's health care food. If the snap benefits issue, man,
- 26:31Speaker 4: thank god for Twitter. It has been all over Twitter
- 26:34Speaker 4: showing you know, obviously quite able bodied people, and a
- 26:39Speaker 4: lot of the men threatening to go loose and rob
- 26:42Speaker 4: stores if they don't get their snap benefits anymore. And
- 26:45Speaker 4: I'm thinking, if they have that much, I mean you
- 26:47Speaker 4: can see them time. They have enough, plenty of energy.
- 26:49Speaker 4: It look like strong young men. Surely they could get
- 26:52Speaker 4: a job. Dotto for the women who, if anything, could
- 26:56Speaker 4: stand to lose a few pounds. And healthcare. Nobody cared
- 27:01Speaker 4: about me losing my healthcare under Obamacare. One thing you
- 27:04Speaker 4: will notice as a difference between Republicans and Democrats. When
- 27:08Speaker 4: Republicans say they will solve an issue, and do solve
- 27:12Speaker 4: an issue, that issue goes away forever. They actually do
- 27:15Speaker 4: solve it. For example, Ronald Reagan ending the Cold War,
- 27:19Speaker 4: defeating the Soviet Union, puff gone, Soviet Union is no more,
- 27:24Speaker 4: Rudy Giuliani solving crime not only in New York City
- 27:28Speaker 4: but basically across America. Well, then Republicans lose that as
- 27:31Speaker 4: an issue to run on. We start running on it again. Now.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Cut taxes. Reagan did it. They never went back up
- 27:37Speaker 4: to close to the level they were before he came in.
- 27:41Speaker 4: When Democrats solve a problem like health care or poor people,
- 27:46Speaker 4: they just make the problem so much bigger, and it's
- 27:50Speaker 4: just it was always amazing to me watching the Democratic primaries,
- 27:53Speaker 4: you know, every four years since Obama, and their big
- 27:57Speaker 4: subject is Americans can't get health caare. It's a disaster. Yeah, okay,
- 28:02Speaker 4: you guys said Obamacare would fix this and you made
- 28:05Speaker 4: it worse, so we can't get back to them. That's
- 28:07Speaker 4: the one premise we need to start with. And then
- 28:10Speaker 4: Republicans have to figure out how to do this in
- 28:12Speaker 4: a fair way and stop giving better healthcare to illegal
- 28:15Speaker 4: aliens and welfare recipients than hardworking Americans.
- 28:21Speaker 2: They can't claim Obamacare is working anymore because if it was,
- 28:23Speaker 2: it wouldn't be an issue right now. We wouldn't have
- 28:25Speaker 2: better shutdown over it. We wouldn't be talking about it
- 28:27Speaker 2: if it was working.
- 28:28Speaker 4: So right, everyone just pretends that they they don't remember Obamacare.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Happy do we lose her? Oh there you are, you're
- 28:38Speaker 2: still there right?
- 28:39Speaker 4: Yeah, something happened, we lost.
- 28:41Speaker 2: You for a second. Hey we only got a minute left.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Friday's the final day of MSNBC. It then becomes broken hearted.
- 28:49Speaker 2: It then becomes ms now from a tiny studio that
- 28:52Speaker 2: got kicked out of it. What do you think will
- 28:53Speaker 2: they survive.
- 28:56Speaker 4: They're kidding. I can't see bit Repetitive mentioned that to you. Mark,
- 29:02Speaker 4: it's a little tough, even for those of us who
- 29:04Speaker 4: enjoy laughing at liberals. I don't think ms I was
- 29:08Speaker 4: kind of noticing recently, like with a shutdown, MSNBC is
- 29:12Speaker 4: not good for the Democrats. We really should hope that
- 29:15Speaker 4: it continues. They they represent the far progressive left. They
- 29:19Speaker 4: are you know, tickled pink over Zorhan Mom Dommie. I
- 29:23Speaker 4: think they are taking the Democratic Party in a direction
- 29:27Speaker 4: that is not good for the Democrats but is good
- 29:30Speaker 4: for Republicans. So maybe we should try to get MSNBC
- 29:34Speaker 4: a little more, a little more visibility.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Oh very good, Yeah, very good insight into that. Well,
- 29:40Speaker 2: everybody check out and Culture on Twitter. Make sure you
- 29:42Speaker 2: follow on Twitter. But even better as substacks. He's got
- 29:45Speaker 2: columns and videos and interviews and podcasts and all sorts
- 29:47Speaker 2: of stuff. Go to and Culter dot substack dot com
- 29:51Speaker 2: and culture dot substack dot com and Culture. Thanks for
- 29:56Speaker 2: being with us.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Good to talk to you, Mark Simone, Bye.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Bay I take care. Hey, don't forget Jimmy Falis now
- 30:02Speaker 2: with us every night nine to midnight. Very good show.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Funny interesting every night nine to midnight. Right here on
- 30:09Speaker 2: seven to ten, WR.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Give WR a bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 30:16Speaker 1: hear mar Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simon show on wor.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Well, the House should vote later today on the shutdown.
- 30:31Speaker 2: That could be the end of it by tonight, by
- 30:33Speaker 2: six seven o'clock tonight, that may have the vote. And
- 30:35Speaker 2: you know the problem is getting everybody there. They have
- 30:37Speaker 2: to vote in person, which means they all are somewhere else.
- 30:40Speaker 2: They all have to fly back to DC, and the
- 30:43Speaker 2: shutdown caused air traffic delays, so because of their own shutdown,
- 30:47Speaker 2: it's tough for them to get there to end the
- 30:49Speaker 2: shutdown with the vote. But they should get it done
- 30:52Speaker 2: tonight and then well that won't be the end of it.
- 30:55Speaker 2: They'll they'll have to do this again in January. So
- 30:59Speaker 2: but I think Democrats learn their lesson not to go
- 31:01Speaker 2: through this again. Hey, we're out of time. I'll be
- 31:04Speaker 2: on Cudlow this afternoon between four and five, somewhere in
- 31:10Speaker 2: the middle of the show.
- 31:11Speaker 7: There.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Also check out my instagram if you want to see
- 31:14Speaker 2: Johnny Carson's actual desk. It was here in New York,
- 31:18Speaker 2: the chair, the couch from the set. Take a look
- 31:20Speaker 2: at my Instagram, Mark Simone NYC at Instagram, make sure
- 31:24Speaker 2: you follow me on Twitter and all of that stuff.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Don't go away. Buck and Clay are coming up next
- 31:29Speaker 2: with a great show for you. Then the most listened
- 31:32Speaker 2: to radio show in America, Sean Hannity. He'll be here

- 31:37Speaker 2: or listen anytime. Just get the podcast. But I'll be
- 31:41Speaker 2: back tomorrow at ten and I'll talk to you then
