Now Me: Building a community of support for IDF disabled women veterans
Among the individuals and projects being highlighted during Israeli Excellence Week is "Now Me," a new initiative spearheaded by two women, Mei-Gal Avinoam and Dana Pinhasov, who were both wounded during their IDF service, and based on the challenges each of them faced in their own recoveries and rehabilitation of their lives, have founded a program to specifically provide support to IDF disabled women veterans.
