- 4:12Speaker 1: this weekend all the way through Monday, and a very
- 4:14Speaker 1: special happy birthday shout out to my coworker Angela. She
- 4:18Speaker 1: turns whatever she turns. I don't even know her birthday,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and that's fine. I just know what day it is.
- 4:24Speaker 1: But on Tuesday, April sixth or May six she turns
- 4:28Speaker 1: whatever age she turns. So happy birthday, Angela. I hope
- 4:31Speaker 1: you have a great day. Let's move on and talk
- 4:34Speaker 1: a little football. Let's talk about the NFL Draft, all right.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So we're only gonna go over round one. To me,
- 4:43Speaker 1: that's obviously the most important round. I'm gonna discuss all
- 4:46Speaker 1: the Bears draft picks though with you guys and talk
- 4:50Speaker 1: about that, but I just want to go through the
- 4:52Speaker 1: first round, and we will talk about the elephant in
- 4:54Speaker 1: the room of what happened on the weekend at the
- 4:58Speaker 1: NFL Draft with a certain player who I still believe
- 5:03Speaker 1: should have went for his round. But that's just me, okay.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So let's go into the NFL Draft. Let's talk about
- 5:10Speaker 1: Round one. Okay. So at the NFL Draft. Number one,
- 5:18Speaker 1: not a shocker. Cameron Ward from QB from Miami went
- 5:23Speaker 1: to the Tennessee Titans. Not a shock. Number two, this
- 5:26Speaker 1: was a little shock. The Jacksonville Jaguars traded up. They
- 5:31Speaker 1: originally were supposed to be the number five pick. They
- 5:35Speaker 1: traded up with Cleveland. I think everybody in Cleveland was
- 5:39Speaker 1: a little shocked by this. I don't know if anybody
- 5:42Speaker 1: in Cleveland expected them to trade up, especially since they
- 5:47Speaker 1: kind of in all the mock drafts knew exactly where
- 5:49Speaker 1: Cleveland was most likely going. So the Jaguars ended up
- 5:54Speaker 1: getting Travis Hunter wide receiver, cornerback out of Colorado, so
- 6:00Speaker 1: we'll see how he does over there. Number three to
- 6:03Speaker 1: New York was Abduall Carter Edge from Penn State. Number four,
- 6:07Speaker 1: offensive tackle Will Campbell from LSU went to the Patriots.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Number five. The Brons ended up picking and I'm telling
- 6:15Speaker 1: you now, and I watched Michigan. I love Michigan, but
- 6:20Speaker 1: I would have took Travis Hunter wide receiver quarterback over
- 6:27Speaker 1: Mason Graham of Michigan the defensive tackle. Just saying that
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me is a little head scratching right there. Number
- 6:37Speaker 1: six not of Shock. The Raiders took ashtra genty running
- 6:41Speaker 1: back out of Boise State. Number seven armand Membu offensive
- 6:49Speaker 1: tackle out of Missouri went to the Jets. Number eight.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Tetorora McMillan, wide receiver in Arizona went to Carolina. Number
- 7:00Speaker 1: nine to the Saints was Calvin Banks junior offensive take
- 7:04Speaker 1: alta Texas. Number ten. Colston Loveland from Michigan Titan went
- 7:10Speaker 1: to the Bears. We'll talk about that in a few minutes.
- 7:15Speaker 1: We'll talk all Bears in a second, so we'll come
- 7:18Speaker 1: back to that. Number eleven. Michel Williams Edge from Georgia
- 7:22Speaker 1: went on to San Francisco. Number twelve from Dallas, Tyler
- 7:26Speaker 1: Booker garfrom Alabama went to the Cowboys. The Dolphins got
- 7:33Speaker 1: Kenneth Grant defensive Take a lot of Michigan at number thirteen.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Number fourteen Tyler Warren Titan out of Penn State went
- 7:41Speaker 1: to the Colts. Let's see number fifteen. Jalen Walker, edgeon
- 7:48Speaker 1: to Georgia, went to the Falcons. Number sixteen. Cardinals took
- 7:52Speaker 1: Walter Nolan defensive Take a lot of Mississippi. I love
- 7:56Speaker 1: say Mississippi. Number seventeen. The Bengals took Shamir Steuart Edge
- 8:02Speaker 1: out of Texas A and M Number eighteen. This dude
- 8:06Speaker 1: looks like he's forty years old Seattle Seahawks to Greg's
- 8:12Speaker 1: Gray's Abel Guard out of North Dakota State. I think
- 8:15Speaker 1: it's his mustache that makes him look that old. But
- 8:18Speaker 1: this dude literally looks like he's forty years old and
- 8:21Speaker 1: he's like only like twenty something. It's crazy. Let's see.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And I remember when I saw a game in North
- 8:27Speaker 1: Dakota State and I'm like, who's that forty year old
- 8:29Speaker 1: dude over there out on the field? Why is he playing?
- 8:33Speaker 1: But yeah, I think he's I don't know he's an
- 8:34Speaker 1: exact age, but I know I think he's in his twenties.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Let's see. Number nineteen to Tampa Bay was a Meek
- 8:42Speaker 1: Agbuka wide receiver out of Ohio State. I'm sure I
- 8:46Speaker 1: butchered his first name, Amika Egbuka. I'll have to ask
- 8:52Speaker 1: my friend Mike at work if I said it right.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Number twenty Jada barn cornerback out of Texas went to
- 9:00Speaker 1: Denver Pittsburgh Steelers, who everybody thought was gonna take Shamir Sanders.
- 9:08Speaker 1: They instead took Derek Harmon defensive Tekelta Oregon O'marion Hampton
- 9:13Speaker 1: on North Carolina running back went to the Chargers. At
- 9:16Speaker 1: twenty two, Matthew Golden wide receiver out of Texas went
- 9:21Speaker 1: to the Green Bay Packers. Twenty four, the Vikings took
- 9:27Speaker 1: Downovan Jackson guard out of Ohio State. Jackson dark QB
- 9:31Speaker 1: out of Mississippi. We went to the New York Giants
- 9:36Speaker 1: at number twenty five. New York Giants needed a quarterback.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's the funny thing. Number twenty six James Pearce junior
- 9:45Speaker 1: edge out of Tennessee went to Atlanta. On twenty six,
- 9:48Speaker 1: Malchi Starks went from Georgia went to the Baltimore Ravens
- 9:55Speaker 1: and number twenty seven, number twenty eight, ty Leek Williams
- 9:59Speaker 1: defensive tenn went to Ohio State went to Detroit. Josh
- 10:04Speaker 1: Connelly junior from Oregon offensive tackle went to Washington at
- 10:08Speaker 1: twenty nine. At thirty, Maxwell Hairston cornerback on of Kentucky
- 10:12Speaker 1: went to Buffalo. We had a trade. Kansas City at
- 10:16Speaker 1: thirty one traded number thirty two Philadelphia and so Philadelphia
- 10:21Speaker 1: at thirty one chose Jahad Campbell, who grew up in Philly.
- 10:26Speaker 1: To come back home and play for them. He's a
- 10:28Speaker 1: linebackerun at Alabama. And then of course Josh Simmons Ohio
- 10:34Speaker 1: State tackle offensive tackle. Yeah, so there you go. That
- 10:43Speaker 1: was the draft, all right. So let's talk about the
- 10:46Speaker 1: elephant in the room before we go into the Bears.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Elephant in the room? What's sanear Sanders? That really still understanding?
- 10:58Speaker 1: And I get it. I heard the rumor, I think
- 11:00Speaker 1: everybody might now hear the rumors that he did a
- 11:03Speaker 1: very bad interview process with a few of the teams.
- 11:08Speaker 1: He did it by zoom instead of coming in like
- 11:10Speaker 1: a lot of them did. He didn't do his pro day,
- 11:17Speaker 1: his interview process on zoom. He had like friends in
- 11:21Speaker 1: the background joking and yapping it up and stuff. So
- 11:26Speaker 1: it was very unprofessional. So I get it. I understand
- 11:29Speaker 1: where they're coming from. But at the same time, you
- 11:31Speaker 1: need a quarterback. The guy averaged he got thirty four
- 11:36Speaker 1: yards last year and thirty nine touchdowns in his senior year.
- 11:42Speaker 1: You took the Giants. We're talking about the Giants right now.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You guys took Jackson Dart who threw forty two hundred
- 11:54Speaker 1: yards but only like twenty nine touchdowns. Okay, So sometimes,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and I'm sorry to say this, but if I'm a GM,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'm looking at it like this. I get who he is.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He's a son of Dion. We all know this, Okay,
- 12:08Speaker 1: everybody knows he's a son of Dion. At the same time,
- 12:12Speaker 1: if I need a quarterback that bad and I know
- 12:15Speaker 1: this kid is good, I'm going to take the guy
- 12:22Speaker 1: who I think is good, okay, over a little bit
- 12:27Speaker 1: of drama between a pro day, you know, and an
- 12:32Speaker 1: interview process, which to me, I mean, I get it.
- 12:35Speaker 1: It teach his character. But at the same time, I
- 12:39Speaker 1: don't think Sanders is going to be that big of
- 12:41Speaker 1: a headcase. His dad was, and his dad was a
- 12:44Speaker 1: good player. Dion was a great player. They try to
- 12:48Speaker 1: compare the two, which I tell people all the time,
- 12:50Speaker 1: stop comparing Dion and his son because they don't even
- 12:55Speaker 1: play the same position. One was a wide receiver cornerback,
- 13:02Speaker 1: the other one is a quarterback. Okay, two completely different things.
- 13:07Speaker 1: You can maybe compare Diane with his other son, who
- 13:10Speaker 1: plays safety, because safety and corner are almost the same thing. Interceptions,
- 13:17Speaker 1: broke tackles, breakups on you know, passes and stuff. You
- 13:23Speaker 1: could talk to that and compare that stuff if you
- 13:26Speaker 1: wanted to, but honestly, no, I mean, stop comparing Dian
- 13:31Speaker 1: with his son, because they're completely two different things. I
- 13:37Speaker 1: wasn't happy. I think he should have went first round.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I think Pittsburgh should have took him, and if not,
- 13:42Speaker 1: New York should have took him. I think he's still
- 13:45Speaker 1: for a first round talent regardless of all the other noise.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But please stop saying racism with this, because it was
- 13:54Speaker 1: far from that. The number one quarterback that went was
- 13:57Speaker 1: a black was African American. Okay, it's ridiculous. Eighty percent
- 14:03Speaker 1: of the draft was black. I mean, you just can't.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You can't sugarcoat it anymore. Stop saying stop saying it
- 14:13Speaker 1: was racism, because that's not racism. If anything, it's collusion
- 14:16Speaker 1: between teams and GM's and stuff. You could say that maybe,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but that's about it. So yeah, let's move on to
- 14:24Speaker 1: the Chicago Bears draft and we'll talk about who the
- 14:27Speaker 1: Bears got. I'm happy with what the Bears drafted. Honestly,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I'm very very excited for what we got. I think
- 14:36Speaker 1: the Bears did. To me, I would give the draft
- 14:39Speaker 1: an a minus. I would do a minus right now.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't do an A plus or an A until
- 14:45Speaker 1: I see some of these guys on the field. But
- 14:48Speaker 1: I was a little head scratched with Colston Loveland at first.
- 14:52Speaker 1: But I know the kid. I've watched him play for
- 14:56Speaker 1: years with with Michigan. I've seen him win two national
- 15:00Speaker 1: championships with Michigan. You know. I've seen him still be
- 15:08Speaker 1: a light in a not good Michigan team this last
- 15:11Speaker 1: season when they lost Harbaugh and McCarthy and all of them.
- 15:16Speaker 1: But I'm I'm happy with them. I think he's gonna
- 15:19Speaker 1: be a great centerpiece with Kmet. I think the two
- 15:23Speaker 1: of them. Ben Jonson loves two tight end sets and
- 15:26Speaker 1: so I'm happy for that. So I'm good with that one.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Luther Burdan, the third Burden, is gonna be amazing. He
- 15:35Speaker 1: is going to be leaps and bounds better than what
- 15:39Speaker 1: the Packers got in the first round. And a lot
- 15:43Speaker 1: of people are like, oh, Packer's got a good wide
- 15:45Speaker 1: receiver in the draft. Bears are like, hold my beer,
- 15:49Speaker 1: we're gonna take one in the second round, and they did.
- 15:51Speaker 1: They got a good one. I think he's gonna be great.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I watched film on him, after which I usually do.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I usually watch the film on all the play after.
- 16:01Speaker 1: In the second round, we also picked at number fifty six,
- 16:05Speaker 1: we picked Ozzi Trepilo and you can't go wrong with
- 16:10Speaker 1: it Azzi Ozzy Osbourne, Ozzi from American Pie. Can't go
- 16:15Speaker 1: wrong with an Azzi. Kid is good. It's gonna be
- 16:19Speaker 1: good at left tackle, right tackle, wherever they put him.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I heard he went like the entire season last year
- 16:25Speaker 1: without a penalty. That is something the Bears definitely need.
- 16:30Speaker 1: If he can learn NFL rules, which I think are
- 16:32Speaker 1: pretty same, pretty same with offensive linemen in college. So
- 16:38Speaker 1: if he can learn and do what he did in
- 16:41Speaker 1: college for the Bears, he's gonna be a very good
- 16:44Speaker 1: protector for justin fields and round also, round two we
- 16:49Speaker 1: had three picks because we traded back and we ended
- 16:52Speaker 1: up getting pick number sixty two. We end up taking
- 16:56Speaker 1: Shamir Turner defensive take a line of Texas A and
- 16:59Speaker 1: M the other. Good solid pickup for the defensive line
- 17:02Speaker 1: for backup and maybe for you know, hey, I'll tell
- 17:06Speaker 1: you what Ben Jonson said right after this Zach Fraser
- 17:09Speaker 1: corner all we got oh Next in the fourth round
- 17:12Speaker 1: at one point thirty two, we got Rubin Heppolyte, the
- 17:16Speaker 1: second linebacker out of Maryland. Don't really know much about him.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Watch a little video. He's decent, good linebacker. It's all depth.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You need depth if guys get hurt. Zach Frasier we
- 17:29Speaker 1: got or actually I think it is a high fraser
- 17:33Speaker 1: cornerback out of Texas San Antonio at pick one nine.
- 17:37Speaker 1: We need an extra corner. Again, it was a depth piece.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It was good there. We end up getting round six
- 17:43Speaker 1: pick we got Luke Newman, guard out of Michigan State.
- 17:47Speaker 1: There you go, decent guard. I watched some film on him.
- 17:52Speaker 1: He held guys back pretty good. I mean, look, it's
- 17:55Speaker 1: a crap shoot. You don't know what you're gonna get
- 17:57Speaker 1: until they get on the field anyway. And of course
- 18:00Speaker 1: in round seven, our last pick thirty three, we got
- 18:06Speaker 1: Kyle Magnala, running back out of Rutgers. I think I
- 18:11Speaker 1: butchered his name, but you know what, we'll hear it
- 18:15Speaker 1: during the season. We'll see if I said it right.
- 18:17Speaker 1: He's decent, solid running back. You know, we got a
- 18:21Speaker 1: lot of backups. We got a lot of backups in
- 18:23Speaker 1: the room. Big news out of the NFL right now
- 18:26Speaker 1: is that the Bears are looking at Nick Chubb and
- 18:31Speaker 1: I really really hope we get him. In fact, let
- 18:34Speaker 1: me go to my tweeter page really quick. Let's see
- 18:43Speaker 1: if there's any news yet. Let's see if I have
- 18:47Speaker 1: any breaking news since I've been on the air. Uh Nope,
- 18:51Speaker 1: not yet. Bears are eyeing Nick Chubb after not driving
- 18:56Speaker 1: Ashton Gent So yeah, Nick Chubb. I was watching him
- 19:01Speaker 1: work out the head workout videos on the dude is
- 19:04Speaker 1: deadlifting five and seventy five pounds with that leg. Yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: so he's ready to go. I say we lock him in,
- 19:14Speaker 1: Samuel a one year, three million dollar deal. Lock him in.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I think Nick Chubb with DeAndre Swift, I'm telling you now,
- 19:22Speaker 1: I think we're gonna be good. We're gonna be great
- 19:24Speaker 1: at running back. We're gonna have that one two punch
- 19:27Speaker 1: because another thing and we all know this with Ben
- 19:31Speaker 1: Jonson from what we saw last year with Detroit, he
- 19:34Speaker 1: loves the two headed monster when it comes to running back.
- 19:38Speaker 1: He likes having his sonic and knuckles, and that's what
- 19:41Speaker 1: he had last year. He had Montgomery and Gibbs together,
- 19:45Speaker 1: sonic and knuckles. Maybe we'll get Mario al Luigi. We'll
- 19:50Speaker 1: see what they do. But I'll tell you anything if
- 19:54Speaker 1: we could get them paired together. We'll have peanut butter
- 19:56Speaker 1: and jelly. We'll be good. I'll be happy with that.
- 19:59Speaker 1: So we get Nick Chubb, we'll see what happens. All
- 20:02Speaker 1: you armchair doctors who say he's washed up, It's like, dude,
- 20:08Speaker 1: take your Trump university university doctorate and go put the
- 20:12Speaker 1: fries in the bag. Okay, we don't need your little
- 20:16Speaker 1: you telling me that he's not good no more, because
- 20:18Speaker 1: you don't know shit. We know this all right, So
- 20:22Speaker 1: let's move on and talk about Oh Ben Johnson did
- 20:27Speaker 1: say there right now is no depth chart. If guys
- 20:32Speaker 1: want a spot, they have to earn it now. Obviously,
- 20:36Speaker 1: Caleb Williams is most likely gonna be the starter of
- 20:39Speaker 1: day one. We know Dj Moore, we know all them. So,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I mean, even though he says that, I think he
- 20:47Speaker 1: knows who his main starters are gonna be, so I
- 20:51Speaker 1: wouldn't say, oh, well, maybe Caleb won't be the starter
- 20:54Speaker 1: next year, he'll be the starter next year. I think
- 20:56Speaker 1: that he's talking more or less the backups and all
- 21:02Speaker 1: the other guys on there, you know where they'll be
- 21:04Speaker 1: like everybody's like, oh, Tyson Beagen's gonna be number two.
- 21:08Speaker 1: There's no guarantee Tyson Begens is gonna be number two.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Case Keenum is a very good quarterback. He's a very
- 21:15Speaker 1: good backup, and I think he will be number two.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I think Beijing needs to go. I think Beijen wants
- 21:21Speaker 1: to work his hardest to be a starter, and it's
- 21:25Speaker 1: not gonna happen in Chicago. It just will not happen
- 21:28Speaker 1: in Chicago. So yeah, I think that if I'm the
- 21:35Speaker 1: Bears right now, you got case Keenum, You've got Caleb Williams,
- 21:39Speaker 1: and you have that guy that we had that was
- 21:44Speaker 1: on hard knocks. He was the other rookie quarterback that
- 21:47Speaker 1: we drafted last year and we ended up keeping him
- 21:49Speaker 1: on the practice squad. Then he ended up staying with us.
- 21:52Speaker 1: We have him. He's gonna be a good backup too,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and he's definitely gonna be a backup. So if I
- 21:59Speaker 1: were the Bears, I would see what can we get
- 22:01Speaker 1: next year for Tyson maagent? Can we get maybe a
- 22:03Speaker 1: player out of it? Can we get a draft pick
- 22:06Speaker 1: for next year? Starts stocking up some draft picks for
- 22:08Speaker 1: next year too. I mean we might as well. I mean,
- 22:14Speaker 1: the depth chart is definitely gonna be the way I
- 22:17Speaker 1: look at it, quarterback, you're gonna be Caleb Williams, case
- 22:21Speaker 1: Keenum Tyson beagent running back, you would be right now.
- 22:29Speaker 1: If we don't get Nick Chubb, it would be DeAndre Swift,
- 22:35Speaker 1: Roshawn Johnson, and then there's a few guys who will
- 22:39Speaker 1: fight for that third spot. Wide receiver, DJ Moore, romadoons A.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I just said his name Burden there, you know, Burdon
- 22:51Speaker 1: at wide receiver one, two and three tight end. I'm
- 22:54Speaker 1: looking Cole Combat and Loveland. People are saying, there's no
- 22:56Speaker 1: way you're gonna draft the guy at number ten and
- 22:58Speaker 1: he's gonna be a backup second guy. I think he will.
- 23:02Speaker 1: He's not just gonna jump in and take Comet spot.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Comet earn that spot. I think Comet keeps that spot
- 23:08Speaker 1: at number one, and then Loveland's gonna be number two.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And that's how it is. I'm on the starters for that.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So we'll see next week. I am going to bring
- 23:21Speaker 1: up a list of all the training camps, so I'll
- 23:24Speaker 1: let everybody know when training camp is gonna be in July,
- 23:27Speaker 1: so everybody knows and what OTAs are gonna be. Because
- 23:30Speaker 1: now in the middle of May and June July. That's
- 23:34Speaker 1: when we're gonna start having all our stuff for teams.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So I'll talk about everything that's gonna happen for your
- 23:39Speaker 1: team where you can see it and if you're allowed,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and we'll talk about all that next week. All right,
- 23:44Speaker 1: let's move on to the NBA. I don't even want
- 23:51Speaker 1: to talk about the NBA right now, but I have to.
- 23:54Speaker 1: We have to talk about the elephant in that room,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Lebron James. By dude, you need to leave. Just be done.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Five points in the fourth quarter of two games, not
- 24:12Speaker 1: even in each game, five points total between two games,
- 24:17Speaker 1: zero in the first game, and five points yesterday in
- 24:22Speaker 1: an elimination game. Why are you still here? You have
- 24:32Speaker 1: taken Luca, poor young Luca, from a team that he loved,
- 24:40Speaker 1: with fans that he loved and that loved him, because
- 24:46Speaker 1: you didn't want Anthony Davis knowing that he got hurt
- 24:48Speaker 1: all the time. So you wanted to get Luca here,
- 24:51Speaker 1: who you knew didn't get hurt all the time, so
- 24:54Speaker 1: that you could try to ride the back of him
- 24:57Speaker 1: to the finals. And it failed. It failed, miserable for Luca.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Now Luca is gonna be in LA which it's not
- 25:08Speaker 1: the worst place to be. We know this, and now
- 25:15Speaker 1: Luca is he had a better chance of making the
- 25:18Speaker 1: finals with Dallas than he did with you. They probably
- 25:24Speaker 1: would have played better had Luca stayed in Dallas, And
- 25:31Speaker 1: now Dallas has a broke down. Anthony Davis, I I
- 25:37Speaker 1: just don't understand it. Lebron was a three seed and
- 25:46Speaker 1: they lost four games to one elimination games. Five points
- 25:52Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter when you were in striking distance
- 25:56Speaker 1: of that of that game, Luca twenty eight points last night,
- 26:02Speaker 1: Luca thirty some points the night before, the game before that?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Where were you, Lebron? Where were you? You can't score
- 26:12Speaker 1: thirty in a playoff game anymore? Then, why are you
- 26:16Speaker 1: still playing? Bro? You got everything you need. You won
- 26:21Speaker 1: four titles. You're not gonna catch Jordan, you'ren't even gonna
- 26:24Speaker 1: catch Kobe anymore. Just go, just move on and go.
- 26:37Speaker 1: You got what you wanted. You have forced your son
- 26:40Speaker 1: out of college early to come play with you. You did
- 26:44Speaker 1: something that'll probably never be done in the NBA again.
- 26:49Speaker 1: You won titles, you wont MVPs, all star appearances almost
- 26:54Speaker 1: every year of your career. You might as well. No
- 26:57Speaker 1: major injuries, no major crazy injuries. Just retire. You're forty
- 27:02Speaker 1: years old. Your body can't handle the fourth quarter anymore. Hell,
- 27:07Speaker 1: there were times even when you were younger, your body
- 27:09Speaker 1: couldn't handle the fourth quarter. Now it's even worse. Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 1: it's time for you to move on, Bud. And I
- 27:19Speaker 1: know I'm gonna have Bronze sexuals coming in here, and
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'll pose this everywhere. I'll pose it this everywhere Twitter, Facebook,
- 27:30Speaker 1: in groups that I can, anywhere that I could put
- 27:32Speaker 1: it so that people can hear this, so that they
- 27:34Speaker 1: can listen, because I want people to actually give me
- 27:38Speaker 1: feedback on what they feel about Lebron. I did a poll.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It didn't get a lot. I mean, my Twitter for
- 27:45Speaker 1: some reason does not get much. Okay, I don't get
- 27:48Speaker 1: a lot, and I don't know why, but I did.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I did do a poll on Lebron last night, right
- 27:59Speaker 1: before I went to sleep. And let's see, they get
- 28:04Speaker 1: some votes, aid votes and still got ten hours left.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Sixty three to thirty eight percent of those eight votes
- 28:12Speaker 1: say that yes, Lebron should retire. And Steph Curry, you're
- 28:20Speaker 1: close to you're close to this is ridiculous. I remember
- 28:27Speaker 1: a day where star players wanted to do good. They
- 28:35Speaker 1: wanted to score thirty in playoff games. Anthony Edwards let
- 28:40Speaker 1: me down last night. All I needed Lebron got what
- 28:43Speaker 1: I needed. Luca ended up only with twenty eight. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: needed him to hit thirty. Well, actually twenty nine is
- 28:48Speaker 1: all he needed. No, he needed thirty. I did a
- 28:54Speaker 1: bet Minnesota to win Lebron to scored twenty, which I
- 28:59Speaker 1: was worried. He was stuck at seventeen for like minutes
- 29:04Speaker 1: and minutes and minutes of this fourth quarter, and I'm like, this, dude,
- 29:07Speaker 1: don't even score twenty. And so I went and I'm
- 29:15Speaker 1: watching it. I'm like, Anthony Edwards is just playing like garbage.
- 29:21Speaker 1: He had like literally thirteen points for the entire third quarter.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I don't even think he scored the third quarter. I
- 29:30Speaker 1: mean he really didn't need to because Rudy Gobert was
- 29:32Speaker 1: going off last night. Here's some of the stats, so,
- 29:36Speaker 1: I mean Edwards did have eight assists, though that's the thing.
- 29:39Speaker 1: He was doing other things. He was rebounding too. He
- 29:42Speaker 1: had eleven points. He only had fifteen points in the game.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Rudy Gobert had twenty seven. Randall had twenty three. So
- 29:50Speaker 1: there were other guys that were stepping up. That are
- 29:53Speaker 1: good too, So I really probably shouldn't even bet on Edwards.
- 29:58Speaker 1: But Lebron only had twenty two points. I needed him
- 30:00Speaker 1: to get twenty and then Luca dantek Han his you know,
- 30:05Speaker 1: twenty eight last night. But if I'm Luca, I'm waking
- 30:08Speaker 1: up this morning, like, why am I here in dealing
- 30:11Speaker 1: with this? I could have been in Dallas, at home
- 30:15Speaker 1: where I love. He never wanted to leave the Dallas Mavericks.
- 30:18Speaker 1: He wanted to retire a Maverick. But these players nowadays
- 30:24Speaker 1: just do not care like the other players cared. Like
- 30:29Speaker 1: back in the nineties, Man, you didn't see Charles Barkley,
- 30:33Speaker 1: You didn't you These guys stepped up, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley,
- 30:37Speaker 1: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Isaiah Thomas, uh, Carl Malone, Patrick Ewing,
- 30:44Speaker 1: Hakim Olajuan uh Hell, even guys like Scottie Pippen, Sean camp,
- 30:50Speaker 1: Gary Payton. There's a lot. I mean, there's tons. I mean,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I grew up with one of the greatest I feel,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I feel one of the greatest airs of basketball. The
- 31:03Speaker 1: toughness back then was crazy. You know, I was talking
- 31:07Speaker 1: to this guy who worked with Mike and he he's
- 31:10Speaker 1: like yeah, He's like, tap me out of the army.
- 31:12Speaker 1: He's like, that's a fall. These guys flop. Michael Jordan
- 31:16Speaker 1: literally got nailed to the floor and he was lucky
- 31:19Speaker 1: to get a call. It's it's ridiculous, but I guess
- 31:24Speaker 1: it is what it is. There's really not much you
- 31:25Speaker 1: could do about it. That's just how it is. But yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: Lebron needs to retire. Curry's not winning the championship. I
- 31:32Speaker 1: think Houston's gonna win game what is the game six?
- 31:37Speaker 1: So yeah, I think that series is gonna be over too.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Here's a big talking point in Chicago right now too.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Giannis coming to Chicago and I was seeing all these
- 31:49Speaker 1: crazy trade ideas. One of them was Vukovic, Patrick Williams,
- 31:57Speaker 1: Kobe White and seven first round draft pick free Honis.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I'm like, so, not only are you giving away Kobe White,
- 32:05Speaker 1: who's one of your, if not the best player you
- 32:08Speaker 1: have right now and young, but you also want to
- 32:15Speaker 1: give away which I'm cool with, vuk but seven round
- 32:20Speaker 1: draft seven draft picks first round picks. So for the
- 32:23Speaker 1: next seven years you will not have a first round pick.
- 32:27Speaker 1: This is what I would get, and I know Giannis
- 32:30Speaker 1: has made comments about wanting to come here. Annikabo wants
- 32:34Speaker 1: to come here, and I would love to have him here.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I think him and Kobe White and Giddy, you know,
- 32:41Speaker 1: and all that. I think they would have an amazing run.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I think that team could. I mean, if you saw
- 32:48Speaker 1: what they did at the end of the season, think
- 32:50Speaker 1: about what they would do from a full season. But
- 32:53Speaker 1: I don't know if Billy Donovan is the guy that
- 32:55Speaker 1: can carry them to that. Then again, he is in
- 32:57Speaker 1: the Hall of Fame now not the NBA, but like
- 33:00Speaker 1: the Basketball Hall of Fame. Maybe he can. Maybe he
- 33:03Speaker 1: just didn't have the right people around him. Because obviously,
- 33:06Speaker 1: if Giannis comes here, vuk is gone, which needs to happen.
- 33:12Speaker 1: He needs to be gone. So here's what if I
- 33:14Speaker 1: would propose to Milwaukee. I would give them Vukovic, who
- 33:20Speaker 1: is definitely gonna would give them at least the double
- 33:23Speaker 1: double every almost every game. He can rebound and he
- 33:27Speaker 1: can score. He's gonna get you at least fifteen to
- 33:31Speaker 1: eighteen points a game and probably twelve rebounds. I would
- 33:35Speaker 1: give him Patrick Williams, who's a young player who in
- 33:38Speaker 1: the right with the right training, may be able to
- 33:42Speaker 1: become a decent basketball player. I don't think he'll ever
- 33:44Speaker 1: be that good, but he might be decent. I would
- 33:48Speaker 1: or Lonzo Ball. So I'll give them a choice. You
- 33:51Speaker 1: either take Patrick Williams or Lonzo Ball. You can't have
- 33:53Speaker 1: them both. You have one or the two, okay. And
- 33:59Speaker 1: then I would give them Ao Desumu because now you've
- 34:03Speaker 1: got a young, up and coming point guard for your bench.
- 34:09Speaker 1: And I will give him three first round picks, your
- 34:12Speaker 1: current one this year and two more because I think
- 34:15Speaker 1: we would make a pretty decent run in the next
- 34:19Speaker 1: three seasons with that team that we would have, especially
- 34:23Speaker 1: because Giannis can bring you another free agent. He can
- 34:27Speaker 1: definitely bring in somebody else to come play here. So
- 34:30Speaker 1: I think we could make a decent run next year
- 34:32Speaker 1: if we had that lineup. Yeah, I think we would
- 34:35Speaker 1: do it. So that's my take. Let me know, uh
- 34:40Speaker 1: the best way to do it. You can email me.
- 34:43Speaker 1: My email is down below in the comments section area
- 34:47Speaker 1: about my show. You can also follow me on all
- 34:51Speaker 1: social media I have. All my social media is on there.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Come follow all those pages. You can send me messages.
- 34:57Speaker 1: You can comment on any of my stuff and do
- 35:00Speaker 1: that too. But yeah, let me know what you think
- 35:02Speaker 1: about Giannis coming to Chicago. It is a possibility. Six
- 35:05Speaker 1: seventy The Score even posted a picture of Giannis and
- 35:09Speaker 1: a Bulls gear, so you know Bulls, you know jersey
- 35:13Speaker 1: and all that. So it's a possibility it can happen.
- 35:16Speaker 1: So me and my friend network George, we were talking
- 35:21Speaker 1: about sports goats and we we brought up hockey with me,
- 35:27Speaker 1: and he brought up that he thinks that Ovechkin is
- 35:32Speaker 1: better than Gretzky now because he surpassed him, broke the
- 35:36Speaker 1: record of goals, so he thinks that he's better than Gretzki.
- 35:39Speaker 1: So me and him were talking about that, and I
- 35:42Speaker 1: think of criteria. So what criteria does it take in
- 35:46Speaker 1: your mind to say who you think the goat is?
- 35:51Speaker 1: Because everybody's going to be different. And this goes for sports,
- 35:55Speaker 1: this goes for TV, goes for movies, TV shows, musicians, bands.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You know, when you're looking at a list presidents, I
- 36:04Speaker 1: mean even presidents. Some might say Obama is the greatest
- 36:08Speaker 1: president of all times, some say Trump is, some say
- 36:11Speaker 1: Biden could be, some say George Bush. I don't know
- 36:14Speaker 1: how many people that say George Bush. I know that
- 36:17Speaker 1: some people have said you know Abraham Lincoln, you know,
- 36:20Speaker 1: I mean it really nobody was around for Abraham Lincoln anymore.
- 36:25Speaker 1: But I mean, like I said, there's people who say
- 36:28Speaker 1: that anybody could have been the greatest of all time
- 36:31Speaker 1: in their book. Okay, but if you think about it,
- 36:36Speaker 1: when you're reaching for the criteria for greatest of all time?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Are you basing it on championships? Do you base it
- 36:43Speaker 1: on goals? Do you base it on points? Do you
- 36:47Speaker 1: base it on assists? And all the sets together? Because
- 36:52Speaker 1: at the end of the day, if I say Michael
- 36:55Speaker 1: Jordan's the greatest of all time, Lebron broke a lot
- 36:59Speaker 1: of those of those all those streaks that Jordan had,
- 37:03Speaker 1: but it took him twenty years to do it. Michael
- 37:05Speaker 1: Jordan did it in thirteen. So I mean it took
- 37:10Speaker 1: you all those extra years to get all those accolades.
- 37:15Speaker 1: So are you really the greatest of all time? I mean,
- 37:18Speaker 1: he's not in my book. But when I'm thinking Ovechkin
- 37:23Speaker 1: and I'm thinking Gretzky, and I know hockey, I watch
- 37:27Speaker 1: it and stuff. I'm not a diehard hockey fan. It's
- 37:30Speaker 1: not my favorite sport. It's up there, it's my If
- 37:33Speaker 1: I have five sports, it's probably my third favorite. If
- 37:37Speaker 1: I had a list of sports, it's obviously football, basketball,
- 37:40Speaker 1: then hockey, NASCAR, Baseball would be number five. Wrestling, you know,
- 37:47Speaker 1: at sports entertainment, it's in a different realm. I don't
- 37:50Speaker 1: really count it in that. But my top five of
- 37:55Speaker 1: all time will always be football, basketball, hockey, NASCAR, and
- 38:00Speaker 1: then baseball. That's just my top five. But when I'm
- 38:05Speaker 1: thinking Ovechkin, he just broke the record. They did it
- 38:08Speaker 1: in the same amount of years, though I believe it
- 38:10Speaker 1: was twenty years for each. So when you look at
- 38:17Speaker 1: it is so it's based off of you could say
- 38:23Speaker 1: it's Ovechkin. I could say it's Gretzky because now I'm
- 38:28Speaker 1: basing it to me on other stats too, like who
- 38:31Speaker 1: had the greatest stants out of all of them? So
- 38:35Speaker 1: when you rate your greatest, who are you great even
- 38:37Speaker 1: off of so like here's a list of some of
- 38:41Speaker 1: my greatest for everything. Okay, greatest of all time basketball,
- 38:45Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, greatest of all time football, Tom Brady hands
- 38:50Speaker 1: down the best. You could say Joe Montana. You could
- 38:54Speaker 1: easily say Joe Montana if you wanted to. You could
- 38:57Speaker 1: say Dan Marino even though he had rings, but he
- 39:01Speaker 1: had amazing stats his whole career. But mine is Brady
- 39:09Speaker 1: greatest baseball player of all time. Now Here, I'm a
- 39:13Speaker 1: little a little indifferent because I don't watch baseball like
- 39:20Speaker 1: on that level. So if I had to name the
- 39:24Speaker 1: greatest to me, it would be Willie Mays because I
- 39:29Speaker 1: like Willie Mays. People look at Willie Mays. Yeah, I
- 39:32Speaker 1: like Willie Mays. I think he was one of the
- 39:35Speaker 1: greatest of all time. Babe Ruth could be somebody I
- 39:40Speaker 1: would pick for the greatest of all time Nascar, I
- 39:44Speaker 1: would choose. To me, Dale earn her Junior, to me
- 39:49Speaker 1: is the greatest of all time. I love the guy.
- 39:52Speaker 1: He's won a bunch of cups. He's good. Was he
- 39:55Speaker 1: better than his father? To me? Yeah? To other people, know,
- 40:00Speaker 1: greatest rustler of all time? The Rock. You can say Hogan,
- 40:04Speaker 1: you can say stone Cold, you say Brett Hart. Let's
- 40:09Speaker 1: see greatest boxer all time Muhammad Ali to me, but
- 40:13Speaker 1: you could say Foreman, you could say Tyson, you can
- 40:17Speaker 1: say Money Mayweather, you could say Canela. There's a lot
- 40:21Speaker 1: of stuff you can say. Okay, let's see, let's keep going.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Greatest band of all time, Green Day, You can say
- 40:30Speaker 1: Blink one eighty two. Some people say Metallica. People would
- 40:34Speaker 1: think would be its Metallica, it's actually Green Day. I
- 40:38Speaker 1: love Green Day. Greatest singer of all time to me,
- 40:45Speaker 1: Elton John you could say Michael Jackson. Greatest female singer
- 40:50Speaker 1: all the time. To me, it's Mariah Carey. You could
- 40:54Speaker 1: say Weddy Houston. This is how, this is how people
- 41:03Speaker 1: when they and now here. I'm gonna throw this out there,
- 41:06Speaker 1: and I don't do politics on this show, so we're
- 41:08Speaker 1: not gonna go along into this to be it's Obama.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I think he did a lot for the American people.
- 41:14Speaker 1: People say he didn't, but I think he did, and
- 41:19Speaker 1: he did a lot more that helped me during his
- 41:21Speaker 1: term than Trump did, than Biden did, than any of
- 41:26Speaker 1: the Bushes. Clinton to me, if I were an adult
- 41:32Speaker 1: at that time frame, would have been that person for me.
- 41:38Speaker 1: But I was in my teens when he was president.
- 41:41Speaker 1: So for me, he's not the greatest of all time
- 41:44Speaker 1: because he didn't do anything for me. Because at the
- 41:48Speaker 1: end of the day, I'm not gonna talk politics, but
- 41:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about something that's politics related. At the
- 41:57Speaker 1: end of the day, you have to base your president
- 42:00Speaker 1: off of what they did for you personally, because at
- 42:04Speaker 1: the end of the day, it's not what they do
- 42:06Speaker 1: for the all American people, it's what they do for you.
- 42:09Speaker 1: How does your life get better at the end of
- 42:11Speaker 1: the day, Like right now with tariffs, none of our
- 42:16Speaker 1: lives are gonna be good for a very long time.
- 42:22Speaker 1: So it's definitely not Donald Trump with me. But I
- 42:27Speaker 1: had more done that held me during Obama than I
- 42:30Speaker 1: did under any other president that I was an adult for.
- 42:34Speaker 1: And I wasn't an adult for many because if you
- 42:36Speaker 1: think about it, I mean the bushes. I think trying
- 42:42Speaker 1: to remember when I hit eighteen, it was ninety eight,
- 42:47Speaker 1: So from ninety eight from the time I hit adult
- 42:50Speaker 1: till now when I'm forty four, so I'm trying to think,
- 42:54Speaker 1: I mean, because we had two term presidents in there,
- 42:58Speaker 1: so it wasn't a lot of presidents from ninety eight
- 43:00Speaker 1: to two thousand and twenty five. Because remember, if there
- 43:04Speaker 1: are two term presidents, you know, not everybody's buying it
- 43:07Speaker 1: in Trump doing one term each, you know, like at
- 43:11Speaker 1: a time, so you know, usually it's two terms in
- 43:14Speaker 1: a row that people do. That doesn't happen often where
- 43:17Speaker 1: you get a broken term, so like so, like you know,
- 43:21Speaker 1: Obama was eight years, Bush was eight years. I think
- 43:25Speaker 1: one of the Bushes was four, but the other one
- 43:27Speaker 1: was eight. Clinton was eight so and that was ninety
- 43:31Speaker 1: That was like ninety five ish. So yeah, I mean
- 43:34Speaker 1: I didn't have a lot of presidents in my adult life.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I've had a lot since I was born. From eighty
- 43:39Speaker 1: to now. It's forty four years. You're gonna get a
- 43:42Speaker 1: lot of presidents at that time. But yeah, so for me,
- 43:46Speaker 1: my goat would be Obama only because I didn't realize
- 43:52Speaker 1: that at the time, but he did more for me
- 43:57Speaker 1: than what I feel I got out of even Biden
- 44:00Speaker 1: for the four years that he was in. So yeah,
- 44:03Speaker 1: for me, if I had to pick. And it's funny
- 44:06Speaker 1: because I didn't even vote for Obama the second time, but
- 44:09Speaker 1: I realized as I got older and I'm watching these
- 44:13Speaker 1: other presidents go by after him, that I really did
- 44:16Speaker 1: get more under him than I got it and anybody else.
- 44:18Speaker 1: So he's my goat there. So what I'm saying is
- 44:22Speaker 1: my goats could be different than yours. The greatest of
- 44:26Speaker 1: all time is never like, You're never wrong, even if
- 44:34Speaker 1: I tell you, well, Brady has way better stats, you
- 44:38Speaker 1: might be basingen off of more than just that. I mean,
- 44:43Speaker 1: not many people are gonna argue with you if you
- 44:46Speaker 1: really have somebody who's that good. So when he said
- 44:49Speaker 1: he thinks Ovechkin is better than Gretzky, I think Gretzky's
- 44:53Speaker 1: better than Ovechkin. But then again, I mean if the
- 44:58Speaker 1: stats are the same, now it's just a matter of opinion.
- 45:03Speaker 1: So yeah, that's what I want to talk about, Like goats,
- 45:06Speaker 1: Like who do you think the goats are? So we're
- 45:09Speaker 1: gonna start a new segment starting next week, and this
- 45:13Speaker 1: is why I want to get more listeners in here
- 45:16Speaker 1: to start actually messaging me. I want your list of
- 45:21Speaker 1: the greatest goats of all time. So we're gonna do
- 45:23Speaker 1: one a week from now until I get through every
- 45:28Speaker 1: list that I could possibly think of for the next
- 45:32Speaker 1: however long. So we're gonna start with sports. Okay, So
- 45:38Speaker 1: I want to get people's top five rais of all
- 45:42Speaker 1: time basketball players. So we're gonna start with basketball because
- 45:49Speaker 1: that's my one of my favorite sports. You don't know,
- 45:51Speaker 1: let's start, you know what, Let's start with football. Give
- 45:53Speaker 1: me your top five from your greatest of all time
- 45:56Speaker 1: all the way to number five? Who are your five
- 45:59Speaker 1: favorite Who do you think are the five greatest NFL
- 46:03Speaker 1: players of all time? So let me know? You know
- 46:07Speaker 1: five ways you know? You can email me, you can
- 46:10Speaker 1: message me. I'll post this on my social media's so
- 46:15Speaker 1: people can comment and I'll read them. Next week, we'll
- 46:18Speaker 1: talk about it who everybody thinks, and I'll put I'll
- 46:20Speaker 1: make my list, and we're gonna do this every single week.
- 46:23Speaker 1: We're gonna do one a week, so we'll have fun
- 46:25Speaker 1: with it. So yeah, let's do that. All right. Let's
- 46:29Speaker 1: move on. Now, this one went a little longer than
- 46:32Speaker 1: I wanted, but let's go on to ww Backlash really quick.
- 46:37Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about the WWE Backlash card and we'll
- 46:42Speaker 1: see if we already know one match so far. Let's
- 46:51Speaker 1: see if we have confirmed matches, and we'll see what
- 46:54Speaker 1: predictions we have. We definitely know we're gonna get John
- 46:57Speaker 1: Cena and Randy Orton for the ww on this beat
- 47:00Speaker 1: A Championship. That one is already there. We have Lyra
- 47:07Speaker 1: Lekaira versus Becky Lynch for the Woman's Intercontinental Championship. I
- 47:12Speaker 1: believe that was confirmed already. This one I don't think
- 47:15Speaker 1: is confirmed yet Goonther and Pat McAfee, but they are
- 47:19Speaker 1: aiming for this, and I think that Goother is taking
- 47:22Speaker 1: a few weeks off and he'll be back in time.
- 47:24Speaker 1: I think he'll be back Monday night for Raw to
- 47:26Speaker 1: do that. And so far that's it. We have nothing
- 47:32Speaker 1: about Roman and CM Punk. We have nothing there yet
- 47:39Speaker 1: with him and Roman taking on possibly seven bron Breaker.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I think if we get that, I think it's gonna
- 47:45Speaker 1: be SummerSlam. I think they're going to push that off
- 47:49Speaker 1: and maybe build something with that, because I mean they
- 47:52Speaker 1: hate each other, him and Roman, see them in Roman,
- 47:55Speaker 1: So you know, we'll see what happens there. But so far,
- 47:59Speaker 1: there's only two man on that card that are guaranteed.
- 48:02Speaker 1: There's only three possible matches. One's confirmed and the other
- 48:08Speaker 1: two are aiming towards that storyline. So right now, yeah,
- 48:12Speaker 1: it's a very small card, so we'll see what happens.
- 48:16Speaker 1: So yeah, well, don't really much to talk about there. Yeah,
- 48:19Speaker 1: so we'll talk about it next week because next weekend
- 48:22Speaker 1: is the pay per view, so we'll have hopefully a
- 48:24Speaker 1: final card by next Thursday. Hopefully there's gonna be at
- 48:28Speaker 1: least five or six matches because otherwise I don't even
- 48:30Speaker 1: know if I'm gonna bother watching. So let's move on now. Two,
- 48:36Speaker 1: let's see what we're gonna talk about next. All right, So,

- 51:21Speaker 1: nothing good, nothing good to me anyway. I mean you
- 51:28Speaker 1: can look through this list. I don't see nothing that's
- 51:30Speaker 1: good there. So yeah, we're not gonna talk about that.
