- 3:00Speaker 4: So yeah, let's get into it it wherever you want
- 3:06Speaker 4: to start, wherever you want to take this thing. I
- 3:09Speaker 4: know there's some twists and turns and many different angles
- 3:11Speaker 4: to all this bro Rock and Roll, my friend, I'm.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Ready to go. You know it's coming up on November
- 3:18Speaker 5: twenty second, right, got the anniversary coming up. You know,
- 3:22Speaker 5: I've I've got my I've got my Inco map finished
- 3:26Speaker 5: sixty three. I can find my way around. You know,
- 3:29Speaker 5: I've got my I've got my bus pass. I don't
- 3:32Speaker 5: know if you can see that. I've got my annual
- 3:34Speaker 5: bus pass there. If that doesn't work, I've got a
- 3:37Speaker 5: full book of tickets to get on the buses any
- 3:42Speaker 5: if that doesn't work, And I got my books. You know,
- 3:45Speaker 5: I got prayer Man and prayer Man back there. So
- 3:48Speaker 5: I'm all set to go for November twenty second. But
- 3:52Speaker 5: in doing so, I decided to call a couple of people,
- 3:56Speaker 5: and one of them was Velma Rider, and she is
- 4:00Speaker 5: the youngest sister of dial Writer. And everybody knows dial
- 4:06Speaker 5: Writer from the fame of supposedly mounting a scope on
- 4:12Speaker 5: Lee Harvey Oswald's rifle, and not just the scope already.
- 4:17Speaker 4: But was that didn't it come already mounted with a scope?
- 4:20Speaker 5: Well, you would think so. You know, if you buy
- 4:22Speaker 5: it from the magazine you pay, you know, the money,
- 4:24Speaker 5: you'd have it mounted. You know, you think it would
- 4:26Speaker 5: come with a scope.
- 4:27Speaker 4: But maybe some of.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Yes, for some reason, maybe it broke off or some
- 4:33Speaker 5: people saying, you know, he had to get it read
- 4:35Speaker 5: put on or something. So so I called her, and
- 4:41Speaker 5: it's amazing talking with her. She's eighty one years old,
- 4:44Speaker 5: and you couldn't tell, you know, it's amazing. It was
- 4:49Speaker 5: very interesting.
- 4:50Speaker 6: She was.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Where she was on November twenty second sticks in her
- 4:59Speaker 5: mind and this blew me away that it was her birthday.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Her birthday is November twenty second.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:08Speaker 5: And she was working at the Collins Radio Factory.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 5:15Speaker 5: She was nineteen. She had a security clearance and she
- 5:18Speaker 5: worked the line putting together not just any radios, but
- 5:23Speaker 5: she worked on a lot of the stuff for the
- 5:25Speaker 5: NASA Space program, the radio transmitters to that microwave transmitters.
- 5:31Speaker 5: She put all this stuff together. She was you know,
- 5:35Speaker 5: pretty well, you know, technically skilled as an assembler. And
- 5:41Speaker 5: she was eating birthday cake in the break room when
- 5:46Speaker 5: the news came that Kennedy had been shot. She started
- 5:52Speaker 5: to go back to work and then they basically called
- 5:55Speaker 5: her way together and said everybody go home, and that
- 5:58Speaker 5: was it for the day, right, And so she went home.
- 6:00Speaker 5: She started watching anything on TV, like you know, most
- 6:02Speaker 5: of everybody in Dallas did. But very interesting that then,
- 6:08Speaker 5: you know, she knew quite a bit about, you know,
- 6:13Speaker 5: what had happened, because her mom and dad started to
- 6:17Speaker 5: get death threats because it came out that dial Rider
- 6:22Speaker 5: had supposedly mounted a scope on the Oswald's rifle. And
- 6:28Speaker 5: you know, this is interesting because you know, the uh,
- 6:32Speaker 5: the Irving Police were involved, the FBI were involved. There's
- 6:36Speaker 5: not a lot of reports or anything about this that
- 6:38Speaker 5: you can find. But she told me, you know, all
- 6:41Speaker 5: these little secrets about what they did. And diald was
- 6:47Speaker 5: very interesting because he he knew all the police. He
- 6:52Speaker 5: worked on a lot of their guns, you know, all
- 6:55Speaker 5: their ritifles, all their all their different hunting rifles, and
- 6:59Speaker 5: you know, everybody basically went hunting there in Dallas and stuff.
- 7:02Speaker 5: And she told me a weird thing about one of
- 7:05Speaker 5: their clients. She would go with him and they would
- 7:10Speaker 5: take the guns from the store and Dyle would go
- 7:14Speaker 5: out and he would shoot them. And one of the
- 7:16Speaker 5: places they would go, basically the only place she really
- 7:19Speaker 5: remembered was this place in the river bottom in Trinity
- 7:23Speaker 5: river Bottom. If you remember, there was some talk about
- 7:28Speaker 5: people shooting in the river bottom and the you know,
- 7:31Speaker 5: the police investigating it and seeing maybe that was Lee
- 7:34Speaker 5: Oswald was down there shooting. And and this is very
- 7:39Speaker 5: interesting because she had they had a client that she
- 7:43Speaker 5: went with with tyle and very large rifle. And this
- 7:48Speaker 5: is a few years before the assassination. Very interesting clients.
- 7:52Speaker 5: She couldn't remember exactly what this guy looked like or anything.
- 7:55Speaker 5: She couldn't describe him to me, but it just teed
- 7:58Speaker 5: off a bunch of bells in my head that this
- 8:00Speaker 5: guy had this rifle that had really large caliber bullets.
- 8:05Speaker 5: And Dial said, you you don't want to shoot this rifle, Belma,
- 8:08Speaker 5: you don't want to shoot this and she said, yeah,
- 8:10Speaker 5: I do. I don't want to shoot that one. Because
- 8:13Speaker 5: basically it was she was his brother. There was all girls, right,
- 8:21Speaker 5: and Dial was the only boy, right, and so whenever
- 8:25Speaker 5: she was born, Dial was so upset. He was like,
- 8:28Speaker 5: I wanted a brother. I wanted to be a brother.
- 8:30Speaker 5: I need a brother, you know. So he basically turned
- 8:33Speaker 5: her into his brother, you know, took him, took her shooting,
- 8:38Speaker 5: and you know, all this kind of stuff you know
- 8:40Speaker 5: that boys would do, and you know, and you know,
- 8:44Speaker 5: and she eventually after she worked to Collins Radio. She
- 8:47Speaker 5: entered the army, so that that's how much of a
- 8:52Speaker 5: you know, a boy. She kind of got used to
- 8:54Speaker 5: being with dile. But they had this client and they
- 8:57Speaker 5: took this big rifle down to the Trinity River bottom
- 9:02Speaker 5: and I was able to research it and find out
- 9:04Speaker 5: exactly where it was what they went, because there was
- 9:07Speaker 5: FBI reports about this. And I showed at church and goes, yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 5: that's the place with the little bridge that went across
- 9:13Speaker 5: and we would we would shoot cans off that and stuff.
- 9:16Speaker 5: So she wanted to shoot that rifle, and sure enough
- 9:23Speaker 5: it was. Her Dial was behind her holding her, and
- 9:28Speaker 5: then the client was standing back there behind them, and
- 9:30Speaker 5: she shoots this rifle. It knocks her into Dial, Dial
- 9:33Speaker 5: into the client. All three of them fell down the
- 9:35Speaker 5: ground and they were laughing about it. But that's how
- 9:38Speaker 5: powerful this gun was, and it reminded me of her
- 9:43Speaker 5: old bird going elephant. Supposedly, on November twenty second, he was, Oh,
- 9:49Speaker 5: I'm gone. I'm in Africa, which is weird because you know,
- 9:53Speaker 5: I went on the AARC, which is the Assassination Archives
- 9:57Speaker 5: and Research Center, and there's a there's a thing on
- 10:00Speaker 5: there by daniel A Alkhorn and uh, it's Bird von
- 10:05Speaker 5: Albins Liben and the Doolole report. And basically he checked
- 10:09Speaker 5: it out and he goes, there is not that picture
- 10:12Speaker 5: in there supposedly of Bird with an elephant, isn't. Isn't
- 10:16Speaker 5: Harold Bird. That's a different older guy. So there are
- 10:20Speaker 5: no photos of Harold Bird in Africa with an elephant
- 10:26Speaker 5: that he went hunting for. So here's this big, large
- 10:30Speaker 5: rifle they were shooting. It makes me wonder who was
- 10:34Speaker 5: this quiet?
- 10:35Speaker 2: You know?
- 10:36Speaker 5: And there was a very interesting family, Like I said,
- 10:39Speaker 5: Their father was Homer Richard Ryder and he worked as a.
- 10:46Speaker 6: M Yep, this is the family tree.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Yeah, there's there's Homer. He's at the top. So he
- 10:52Speaker 5: worked at Touns Boy. He was a sheet mental worker,
- 10:56Speaker 5: putting planes together. And then there's Magdalena, uh Fleida, Isophines,
- 11:03Speaker 5: Marcella Mardella Berne, then Dial and Velma, and Velma was
- 11:10Speaker 5: the last one born in Chicken in Illinois, and they
- 11:14Speaker 5: all moved to Dallas. They moved when Velma was six
- 11:18Speaker 5: months old, gotten Homer's truck and they all drove to
- 11:22Speaker 5: Dallas and lived there and moved to urban And there's
- 11:28Speaker 5: some interesting stuff about some of her sisters. One of
- 11:34Speaker 5: the interesting things was Fleda. She was married to a
- 11:39Speaker 5: guy named Grossi and so a lot of people don't
- 11:45Speaker 5: know who Grossy is, but he had an alias alias
- 11:49Speaker 5: was Jack Bowen, and Jack Bowen is the guy I
- 11:53Speaker 5: worked with Lee Harvey Oswald at Jagger Child stoveall and
- 12:00Speaker 5: is the guy who signed for his library card, Lee
- 12:04Speaker 5: Oswald's library card. His name is right on there and
- 12:08Speaker 5: you can put that up to Joe if you want to.
- 12:12Speaker 6: I have a common somewhere here.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, his every Weberary card is right there. And yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 5: this is Fleeta Belma Riders and Dial Ryder's sister married Grossie.
- 12:26Speaker 5: And he's got a huge record of this guy was
- 12:31Speaker 5: he was involved in all kinds of thefts, uh you know,
- 12:34Speaker 5: stuff at gunpoint, you know, stealing things, robbery, assaults, you
- 12:40Speaker 5: name it. I mean, this guy had a record going
- 12:43Speaker 5: way back. And it's very interesting that there he is
- 12:47Speaker 5: working at JCS with Oswalt. It just blows my mind. Right.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Then there's another the other sister that was interesting, which
- 12:59Speaker 5: is uh Mardella or Marty. She was uh sure Jim.
- 13:14Speaker 5: His great grandfather is John Wesley Harden, the notorious criminal
- 13:20Speaker 5: from way back in the day, the guy who killed like, oh,
- 13:23Speaker 5: I'm seventy people or something. I suppose something. And and
- 13:29Speaker 5: then Fleeta, you know, married, She was married to Grossy
- 13:33Speaker 5: aka Bowen. When she got divorced from him, she married
- 13:36Speaker 5: a guy named Mantooth. There's all kinds of FBI files
- 13:41Speaker 5: about Mantooth too, And what's very interesting is that Mantooth
- 13:48Speaker 5: was in prison with Grosy or Boet, and later on
- 13:55Speaker 5: Bowen or Grocy was using Mantooth's name as an alias.
- 14:00Speaker 5: One of the cases was they stole a camper and
- 14:05Speaker 5: all of them, all of them went to like Oklahoma,
- 14:09Speaker 5: and we're in this camper camping and hiding out and stuff,
- 14:14Speaker 5: very very wild stuff. And so I sent I sent Velma.
- 14:22Speaker 6: Yeah. I have a couple of pictures of her up now.
- 14:26Speaker 5: With yes, and that's her. That's her. Whenever she was
- 14:30Speaker 5: in the military, and she was in the army, she
- 14:33Speaker 5: scored very high on her ASPABS back then it was
- 14:39Speaker 5: on one hundred point scale and she scored like a
- 14:41Speaker 5: ninety four or something. And so she got to pick
- 14:43Speaker 5: wherever she wanted to do and where she wanted to go.
- 14:45Speaker 5: And she said she wanted to be in gosh, what
- 14:51Speaker 5: was it. She wanted to be basically in personnel. And
- 14:58Speaker 5: so she got sent to German and she was in
- 15:02Speaker 5: ms Bach, Germany. And because she had done all this
- 15:08Speaker 5: shooting with Dial and grew up around rifles, and Dial
- 15:11Speaker 5: had her shoot every kind of rifle. She said, Dial
- 15:14Speaker 5: would always have a rifle in his car. And I
- 15:18Speaker 5: even asked what kind of car did dile have and
- 15:21Speaker 5: she was able to remember. It was a little Ford.
- 15:23Speaker 5: It was a little two door light colored maybe white Ford.
- 15:29Speaker 5: And she told me that he always had rifles in
- 15:33Speaker 5: there of all different kinds, just everything you could imagine,
- 15:36Speaker 5: you know, because he would take them from the store
- 15:38Speaker 5: and then go shoot them, and he would take them
- 15:40Speaker 5: down to the river bottom. He would take her and
- 15:42Speaker 5: she got to be such a good shot. I mean
- 15:45Speaker 5: she could shoot a can and make it dance. And
- 15:48Speaker 5: so in Germany she was elected or picked to shoot
- 15:57Speaker 5: in the Harrogen Shoot and this is a very famous
- 16:01Speaker 5: local competition between the Germans and the Americans.
- 16:07Speaker 4: And she was a frowl.
- 16:10Speaker 5: She was a woman. And you know how you know
- 16:14Speaker 5: the Germans are and they're like, oh I shooting a
- 16:16Speaker 5: good stay frow you know, Oh oh boy, and she
- 16:20Speaker 5: actually shot just as good as them. As a matter
- 16:22Speaker 5: of fact, she came in second or third what it
- 16:25Speaker 5: was in the Herodin shoot, which is very famous over there.
- 16:30Speaker 5: A lot of people don't know about it, but it's
- 16:32Speaker 5: an amazing competition. They shoot match twenty two rifles and
- 16:39Speaker 5: then you know, it's all this target shooting. But so
- 16:42Speaker 5: she was very good.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Did she join in like the fifties or more like
- 16:48Speaker 6: post Korea ish because she was older than Dial.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I don't know, she's the youngest sister. She's younger than Dial,
- 16:55Speaker 5: and she joined probably in this seventies. I think it was,
- 17:02Speaker 5: oh okay, Yeah, she she had worked for Collins and
- 17:05Speaker 5: things like that, and then she went to the army
- 17:08Speaker 5: and she retired. So she retired in ninety three and
- 17:13Speaker 5: she probably put in I think she said twenty five
- 17:16Speaker 5: or twenty seven years, so whatever that works out to be.
- 17:20Speaker 5: And she, yeah, she was in personnel, she had security clearance,
- 17:24Speaker 5: she did all that kind of stuff in in Germany.
- 17:30Speaker 5: But yeah, it was very interesting talking to her about this,
- 17:33Speaker 5: and you know about Fleeta and Grossi and Man too.
- 17:40Speaker 5: She didn't like any of these guys, so she didn't
- 17:43Speaker 5: really associate or wanted anything to do with them. She
- 17:47Speaker 5: could tell these guys were bad layers, just bad ye
- 17:53Speaker 5: had very interesting I asked her about an incident where Peggy, So,
- 18:02Speaker 5: Haggy is Dial's wife, right, and Peggy her name was
- 18:07Speaker 5: Peggy Jones, Okay, And I was like, did you did
- 18:10Speaker 5: you know Peggy Jones? She was like, no, I didn't
- 18:14Speaker 5: really hang out with Peggy, you know, or no the
- 18:17Speaker 5: Joneses or anything like that. But what was interesting about
- 18:22Speaker 5: Peggy was where she lived and where Dial lived with
- 18:27Speaker 5: her when they first got married. Before Dial got a
- 18:30Speaker 5: house on Harvard Street, and Dal had the house until
- 18:34Speaker 5: he died. But before I got the house, he was
- 18:38Speaker 5: kind of shacking up with Peggy at Peggy's parents, the Joneses.
- 18:44Speaker 5: You know where the Joneses lived, right across the street
- 18:49Speaker 5: from Lenny may Randall.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Wow, it was Fifth Street right irving.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Fifth Street and Irving right, so just the second high
- 19:00Speaker 5: house from the corner, a kitty corner from them. So,
- 19:04Speaker 5: and what's interesting about that is whenever we so, I'm
- 19:08Speaker 5: a member of Jack's and Jacks is a very it's
- 19:12Speaker 5: a very small group of people, and it's a forum.
- 19:16Speaker 5: It's kind of like the the people who left our Okay, see,
- 19:20Speaker 5: after we shut down, we kind of migrated over to Jackson.
- 19:24Speaker 5: That's Tony Crome and John Manning and a few other people,
- 19:29Speaker 5: you know, just a little select few people. Yeah. What
- 19:33Speaker 5: what came out was when you read the FBI reports
- 19:37Speaker 5: of the canvassing of the neighborhood. Remember, they wanted to
- 19:41Speaker 5: know who might have seen Oswald with this package under
- 19:45Speaker 5: his arm right in the morning of the twenty second
- 19:48Speaker 5: walking to mules to get a ride to work. Right. Well,
- 19:55Speaker 5: there's only two houses on that whole block, both up
- 19:58Speaker 5: and down, both sides and from south that they didn't
- 20:01Speaker 5: go and talk to. And you're like, wow, they talked
- 20:05Speaker 5: to everybody on this block except for these two houses.
- 20:09Speaker 5: One was the Joneses, and that was Dial's wife's parents
- 20:15Speaker 5: and where Dinald lived. Whoa. The other one was Roost
- 20:24Speaker 5: Ruth Paynes hairdresser. Where are you gonna get all the gossip?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Who's going to know everything? The hairdresser talked to That
- 20:35Speaker 5: lady avoided these two houses on the south side that
- 20:40Speaker 5: had perfect views. She she lived directly across from Ruth.
- 20:45Speaker 5: That's her hairdresser boom looking right at it. They talked
- 20:49Speaker 5: to her, talked everybody else, and then the person right
- 20:54Speaker 5: across the street from Mules Yep, talk to them and
- 21:00Speaker 5: very very interesting.
- 21:01Speaker 6: I'm hard to say that's not an intentional move, right.
- 21:05Speaker 5: I'd say there's now the guys avoiding these two places
- 21:10Speaker 5: are not waiting on their doorstep or finding out where
- 21:12Speaker 5: they work and going and interviewing room. No way in
- 21:16Speaker 5: hell with all the effort now, everything they put in,
- 21:19Speaker 5: now it's not happening unless they intentionally wanted that to
- 21:23Speaker 5: not be in the record. Right, there's intent. So that's
- 21:28Speaker 5: very very damning little pieces of evidence right there. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 5: these are these are There's so many little bits to
- 21:37Speaker 5: this about Fifth Street and Irving and you know JW.
- 21:41Speaker 5: Hallmark and when he sold his house and when Ruby's
- 21:45Speaker 5: connection you know, the guy who bought it was connected
- 21:49Speaker 5: to Ruby through real estate. It's just if I went
- 21:52Speaker 5: into the tape, we'd be here all night. So I'm
- 21:54Speaker 5: just gonna try and go through some of the highlights.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Like with with Tagy, we'd find uh. There was an
- 22:02Speaker 5: article about her having an accident and it was with
- 22:06Speaker 5: a guy named Gary A. Gunther who happened to work
- 22:10Speaker 5: at Voight Aero Space and he drove head on into
- 22:15Speaker 5: her while crossing an icy bridge. This is like what
- 22:23Speaker 5: I asked Velma was do you think do you think
- 22:27Speaker 5: this was related? Do you think there was any any
- 22:30Speaker 5: chance that they're trying to get her to shut up
- 22:33Speaker 5: and get Dial the shut because as you remember, uh,
- 22:39Speaker 5: whole a whole section of Dial Writer's testimony was with
- 22:44Speaker 5: a guy from the newspaper who had called and spoke
- 22:48Speaker 5: with Dial and di Aal just gave him all everything
- 22:51Speaker 5: he knew and told him about you know, the ticket,
- 22:54Speaker 5: the repair ticket and all this stuff, and was what
- 22:57Speaker 5: was odd about the repair ticket was the guy who
- 23:02Speaker 5: came out there didn't even collect the repair ticket from Dial. Well, no, no,
- 23:08Speaker 5: you keep it? Are you kidding me?
- 23:11Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:13Speaker 3: What I mean?
- 23:17Speaker 5: This is so intentional, the stuff that the FBI did
- 23:20Speaker 5: to just try and make things just go away. It's
- 23:24Speaker 5: not even funny. I mean, you could make this stuff
- 23:27Speaker 5: if you wanted to do. And then there's the of
- 23:31Speaker 5: course there's the timeline of the FBI interviews, which are
- 23:34Speaker 5: very interesting because well, of course you know they're going
- 23:38Speaker 5: to go to Irving. They're going to clump certain people together, right,
- 23:41Speaker 5: just its efficient. But they went They first talked to
- 23:46Speaker 5: Curtis Crowder and you'd have to look them up. No,
- 23:51Speaker 5: not many people know who Curtis Crowder, what his involvement was.
- 23:54Speaker 5: But there was a shell station on the corner of
- 23:57Speaker 5: Rock Island and he was an attendant there at the
- 24:05Speaker 5: shell station, the gasoline station, and the mechanic there was
- 24:09Speaker 5: on duty and this car pulled in and they wanted
- 24:14Speaker 5: something done to their generator or alternative forget what it
- 24:18Speaker 5: was on the car, but you know it wasn't charging
- 24:20Speaker 5: and they're having trouble with it. And so the mechanic said,
- 24:25Speaker 5: you know it's going to be whatever twenty seven dollars
- 24:28Speaker 5: or something that goes. How about this rifle and they
- 24:31Speaker 5: traded a rifle for the mechanic services. That's so they
- 24:38Speaker 5: would Okay, So the FBI speaks to Crowder first, then
- 24:42Speaker 5: goes and talks to dial Rider next, and then goes
- 24:45Speaker 5: and talks to Lenny may Randall next. It's a weird
- 24:50Speaker 5: little progression there, and so everybody wonders about that rifle,
- 24:56Speaker 5: that it might have been the rifle that was involved
- 24:59Speaker 5: with the walker Judy that they wanted to get rid of.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and they.
- 25:08Speaker 5: It's funny and then you could, if you really thinking
- 25:11Speaker 5: get just look up Curtis Crowner and what they did
- 25:14Speaker 5: with the rifle and what they didn't do with the rifle,
- 25:17Speaker 5: and you're just going to be banging your head on
- 25:19Speaker 5: the table, going what.
- 25:19Speaker 3: The heck is going on?
- 25:21Speaker 5: So yeah, yeah, what they do and what they don't
- 25:27Speaker 5: do tells you a whole lot. You can have this
- 25:28Speaker 5: little list over here what they did, and this list
- 25:32Speaker 5: over here what you should have done. Well, we took
- 25:35Speaker 5: pictures of it and then we, uh, we give it
- 25:37Speaker 5: back to Wow, you know stuff like that. You're like,
- 25:42Speaker 5: oh my god, it's so crazy. But yeah, so that's.
- 25:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I put up on the screen commission Exhibit eighteen
- 25:52Speaker 6: twenty nine and eighteen twenty nine continued, And this is
- 25:56Speaker 6: an interview with Dial Ryder Irving Gunsmith Shop, Els, Texas,
- 26:01Speaker 6: on November twenty eighth, sixty three. I think the FBI
- 26:05Speaker 6: talked to him a couple of days before, right.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Yes, they did. They sent out there man and he'd
- 26:13Speaker 5: called him on the phone and he went down and
- 26:15Speaker 5: he met him at the store at Irving Sports Shop
- 26:18Speaker 5: and showed him the repair tag with the name Oswald
- 26:22Speaker 5: on it, and you know, the dollar amounts and all
- 26:25Speaker 5: that stuff, and it was for drilling three holes and
- 26:31Speaker 5: bor sighting. The rifle. Rifle had Oswald's name on it
- 26:35Speaker 5: and you know, written in pencil, and they didn't want it.
- 26:40Speaker 4: They left it with dil Wow, that's unbelievable.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Unbelievable.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Do you want me to read this quickly?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Go for it?
- 26:54Speaker 4: All right?
- 26:55Speaker 6: Question to writer. It has been pretty well established at
- 26:59Speaker 6: Oswald used assassin of the president, used a six point
- 27:02Speaker 6: five carcano rifle, which is an Italian make I think
- 27:06Speaker 6: with a Mauser action. I think they mean both. Do
- 27:10Speaker 6: you remember working on any gun like that dial Wrider? No, sir,
- 27:15Speaker 6: I don't.
- 27:15Speaker 5: I sure don't.
- 27:17Speaker 6: You have attached a lot of scopes telescopic sights recently.
- 27:21Speaker 6: How would you mount a scope on a gun like that? Rider? Well,
- 27:25Speaker 6: actually there is a there is really only there is
- 27:29Speaker 6: really one way to mount it on there. It would
- 27:32Speaker 6: be with a side mount. And I don't recall putting
- 27:36Speaker 6: a side mount on any bolt action that.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I've worked on.
- 27:40Speaker 6: What do you mean by side mount? Can you show
- 27:42Speaker 6: me on this rifle here? Let's look at the gun.
- 27:45Speaker 6: A side mount is mounted on the other side, on
- 27:49Speaker 6: the side of the gun on most likely on the
- 27:53Speaker 6: left hand side of the gun. Now, on this particular
- 27:55Speaker 6: rifle here, which is an argent tyme mouser, would be
- 28:00Speaker 6: best on the top rather than on the side over here?
- 28:04Speaker 6: Or what do you do when you mount it? Well,
- 28:10Speaker 6: writer says, you have to drill holes and attach the
- 28:13Speaker 6: threads which are supposed to pass from the scope to
- 28:16Speaker 6: the mount. Through that question, on this gun, it would
- 28:21Speaker 6: be on top. But on the gun that has been
- 28:23Speaker 6: established as the one that was used or found, let's
- 28:26Speaker 6: say in the TSBD it was it would have been
- 28:31Speaker 6: a side mount, Yes, sir, writer says, it sure would.
- 28:34Speaker 6: And the pictures that the agent has showed me it
- 28:37Speaker 6: was a side mount. You were shown pictures by the
- 28:40Speaker 6: FBI of the gun they found, Yes, sir, and that
- 28:43Speaker 6: was a side mounted telescopic sight, It sure was. And
- 28:47Speaker 6: you don't remember mounting any side mounts, no, sir, I
- 28:51Speaker 6: sure don't, not on special or a bolt action gun.
- 28:56Speaker 5: I don't. So interesting, very interesting, huh. So he gave
- 29:05Speaker 5: two examples in his testimony of rifles that would take
- 29:09Speaker 5: the three holes that you would drill for a side mount,
- 29:11Speaker 5: and the types of mountain that it would take. And
- 29:16Speaker 5: what was interesting was that we found a guy who
- 29:19Speaker 5: was at the irving sports Drone the shooting range, and
- 29:26Speaker 5: he had shot there and people remembered him. He was
- 29:31Speaker 5: three hundred pounds beat nick, had a big beard, and
- 29:35Speaker 5: he had these two rifles and they match exactly the
- 29:39Speaker 5: rifles that Dial said he would mount a side mount on.
- 29:43Speaker 5: One was a US rifle and I forget what the
- 29:47Speaker 5: other one was. And he had shot there at the
- 29:52Speaker 5: sports Drone and he took all his stuff with him,
- 29:58Speaker 5: all the empty shells, everything with them, like they had
- 30:02Speaker 5: kind of said that Oswald did, or you know, and
- 30:04Speaker 5: you could get this impression after a while of you know,
- 30:08Speaker 5: there wasn't any Oswald there with this guy or anybody.
- 30:11Speaker 5: It was just him his rifles. He was the one
- 30:14Speaker 5: doing the shooting, and people remembered him, and he's he
- 30:20Speaker 5: was very big in the community. His parents owned the
- 30:24Speaker 5: lead plant there in Dallas with the huge smokestack that
- 30:29Speaker 5: they called the Big Cigar, and a very big company
- 30:33Speaker 5: that basically had mines everywhere, had like fifty active mines
- 30:39Speaker 5: mining and then they would take all the batteries from
- 30:42Speaker 5: everywhere around Dallas break them down. This place became a huge,
- 30:47Speaker 5: super fun site. So there's a lot of information about
- 30:51Speaker 5: that and what happened to it. But he would cast
- 30:55Speaker 5: his own bullets, shoot his own you know, do his
- 30:59Speaker 5: own shooting, and make his own rounds, which is very
- 31:02Speaker 5: important if you've got something old like a carcone, right,
- 31:07Speaker 5: and you've got to take out the old powder, put
- 31:12Speaker 5: in new powder, put in some new bullets, things like that.
- 31:16Speaker 5: This was your guy. This was this was the guy.
- 31:19Speaker 5: And both these rifles he was shooting at the sports
- 31:22Speaker 5: Drone November sixth or seventh, Uh exactly matches what Dial said.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Would he would mount side mounts on and he didn't
- 31:33Speaker 5: have mounts on them or scopes on these rifles, and
- 31:38Speaker 5: he was sighting them in is what he said. So
- 31:42Speaker 5: this guy fits. I mean, he starts checking boxes like
- 31:45Speaker 5: he wouldn't believe for oh you know, except right, he's
- 31:51Speaker 5: three hundred pounds and he's Beatnick with a beard and stuff,
- 31:54Speaker 5: and you're just like, dang, could how could people get
- 31:58Speaker 5: this so wrong? But they, I mean they did try
- 32:01Speaker 5: to basically pound a round peg into a square hole
- 32:04Speaker 5: with everything that was Oswald. It didn't matter, it didn't
- 32:07Speaker 5: matter what what you look like or who you were.
- 32:09Speaker 5: That was Oswald. That was him. So yeah, big, there's
- 32:15Speaker 5: a big problem I have with the what this guy
- 32:17Speaker 5: was doing, what he was doing there at the drone,
- 32:20Speaker 5: what he was shooting? Did he come in? Then later
- 32:24Speaker 5: when dial Riders said this guy came in and dropped
- 32:28Speaker 5: off this rifle and have the scope mounted, because it
- 32:31Speaker 5: fits exactly with you know, the timeline. Dle didn't see
- 32:39Speaker 5: the guy. That's the whole point of Dalla's testimony. He
- 32:41Speaker 5: doesn't know, you know, who he was or anything. There
- 32:44Speaker 5: was a girl who worked at the counter, and you know,
- 32:47Speaker 5: I asked Belma about that. Do you remember the girl
- 32:49Speaker 5: who worked at the counter. She's the lady who took
- 32:51Speaker 5: in the guns and you know, wrote up orders things
- 32:54Speaker 5: like that and took payments and things. And she's like, no,
- 32:57Speaker 5: I don't remember her. But uh, there is a description
- 33:02Speaker 5: of the man who brought in that rifle and and
- 33:06Speaker 5: the there is a description of him, but there is
- 33:08Speaker 5: a description of what was brought in, and it was
- 33:11Speaker 5: a man with a loose mount and a scope in
- 33:15Speaker 5: a box. So doesn't sound like Lee with a loose
- 33:23Speaker 5: mount and the scope of the box if his rifle
- 33:25Speaker 5: came with a mount and the scope. So yeah, very
- 33:32Speaker 5: interesting about this repair tag and Velma and then yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 5: there's there's more to it, but that's the basic highlights
- 33:44Speaker 5: of talking with her. And yeah, there's the writer's stuff.
- 33:50Speaker 5: And then there's the CBS TV interview there that they
- 33:53Speaker 5: had with Writer just before Thanksgiving.
- 33:57Speaker 2: And.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Uh, I looked for that video and it's now gone
- 34:06Speaker 5: and I contacted CBS. Uh, you know, I gave them
- 34:09Speaker 5: all the information. I said, I wanted to license that
- 34:13Speaker 5: for my YouTube channel, and you know, I pay for it.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Do all that. They searched the archives, so the interview
- 34:22Speaker 5: with dial Writer no longer exists. There's just the still
- 34:25Speaker 5: picture and the transcript and that's it. And there's there
- 34:30Speaker 5: are some other weird things that that that guy Woods,
- 34:34Speaker 5: I believe his named the Reporter. He'd also done some
- 34:37Speaker 5: stuff at the Texas School but depository for the reenactment,
- 34:41Speaker 5: like the next day, I'm like, what reenactment the next day?
- 34:45Speaker 5: He goes, Yeah, there was a reactment the next day
- 34:49Speaker 5: that they did and he was there and that's all
- 34:52Speaker 5: vantaged too. So it's very interesting what you can't find anymore.
- 34:58Speaker 5: It's I mean, you think CBS would be good stuff.
- 35:02Speaker 5: They don't.
- 35:04Speaker 4: It wasn't part of like a bigger special that they
- 35:06Speaker 4: that they did or inserted it into.
- 35:08Speaker 5: The CBS TV news and it was, uh, you know,
- 35:11Speaker 5: the interview with dial Writer. And you know because because
- 35:15Speaker 5: the picture that is still around that you can find,
- 35:18Speaker 5: it was on like a military you know, this military
- 35:22Speaker 5: site and it had it on there for a long time,
- 35:25Speaker 5: so you know, it was definitely licensed before, you know,
- 35:29Speaker 5: from CBS and it was put on their site. Mhm,
- 35:34Speaker 5: can't find it now it's gone weird. Maybe somebody has
- 35:40Speaker 5: on their computer somewhere. I've checked all the Facebook, you know,
- 35:44Speaker 5: GfK sites, everywhere I could think of to ask people
- 35:47Speaker 5: find it again. And wow.
- 35:53Speaker 6: So yeah, let's continue on the Dial Writer thing. I
- 35:55Speaker 6: have a couple more slides. Uh. So Writer explained to
- 35:59Speaker 6: him that he had located I guess it's woods the
- 36:02Speaker 6: reporter right, He had located an undated ticket made out
- 36:05Speaker 6: to one Oswalt, reflecting the notations drilling and tapping four
- 36:11Speaker 6: dollars and fifty cents and bore sighting dollar fifty cents
- 36:15Speaker 6: total charges six dollars. Writer explained this ticket could only
- 36:18Speaker 6: reflect that he had drilled and tapped screw holes for
- 36:21Speaker 6: mounting a telescopic site and now, according to the charges
- 36:24Speaker 6: reflecting on the ticket, the work done on the rifle
- 36:27Speaker 6: would consist of drilling three holes, for which he charges
- 36:30Speaker 6: one fifty each, and the other one fifty would reflect
- 36:33Speaker 6: charges for bore sighting. Schmidt advised. Rider went on to
- 36:40Speaker 6: explain to him in detail the significance of the term
- 36:43Speaker 6: bore sighting, which Smidt interpreted to mean the alignment of
- 36:46Speaker 6: the telescopic site to the rifle bore for accurate shooting.
- 36:53Speaker 4: It seems like a lot of money to drill a
- 36:55Speaker 4: damn hole a buck fifty in nineteen sixty three.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Yeah, ye, but if you're screwing up, you you own
- 37:02Speaker 5: the gun. Well, true, yeah, they gets some money.
- 37:10Speaker 6: And then we have this document. I think it's an
- 37:12Speaker 6: FBI document. I forgot to note it, but it talks
- 37:18Speaker 6: about officer. FM Turner of the DPD reported on Sunday evening,
- 37:26Speaker 6: November twenty fourth, that department had received a telephone call
- 37:29Speaker 6: from one Ray John of Channel eight News presumed with
- 37:33Speaker 6: Many Dallas, advising that the news office had received an
- 37:36Speaker 6: anonymous phone call in which the caller had stated that
- 37:38Speaker 6: he or she thought Oswald had the rifle sighted in
- 37:42Speaker 6: on November twenty first, sixty three at the gun shop at.
- 37:46Speaker 5: Two eleven or two twelve Irving Boulevard.
- 37:49Speaker 6: Officer Turner reports that he checked and found the Irving
- 37:52Speaker 6: Sports Shop at twenty one East Irving Boulevard. The officer
- 37:56Speaker 6: spoke to mister Greener, who was an employee right of the.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Gun store owned it.
- 38:04Speaker 6: He owned it okay, who said that he and Ryder
- 38:08Speaker 6: had discussed the matter, but that neither could remember having
- 38:11Speaker 6: done any work for leh Oswald on the assa or
- 38:16Speaker 6: on the assassination weapon. Mister Greener said he would check
- 38:19Speaker 6: his files for names and reconnect with the DPD.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Sorry, If if dial Ryder had been working on this weapon,
- 38:35Speaker 4: you'd think his fingerprints would have been all over the
- 38:38Speaker 4: damn thing, right, of course, I wonder if they ever fingerprinted.
- 38:44Speaker 5: In Well, we don't know what rifle it was, that's
- 38:48Speaker 5: the thing true. Supposedly the Carkano they found in the
- 38:51Speaker 5: Texas school book positor, but obviously that was n implicant.
- 38:53Speaker 5: There wasn't any right, no prints on that thing with
- 38:56Speaker 5: any value. It's according the FBI. Daytona, they Laytona went
- 39:03Speaker 5: over that thing with a fine toothed comb and said, no,
- 39:05Speaker 5: everything that Carl day says is complete hogwash. And Carl
- 39:10Speaker 5: Day's late arriving prince and all that stuff not to
- 39:14Speaker 5: be trusted.
- 39:15Speaker 4: I agree.
- 39:17Speaker 5: So Greener was the owner of the sports shop, and
- 39:21Speaker 5: he was he was he was gone at this basically
- 39:24Speaker 5: he was out of town. He was hunting. You know,
- 39:26Speaker 5: it's November, and you know he takes off and he
- 39:29Speaker 5: leaves Dial in charge. You know, basically most of the time,
- 39:33Speaker 5: that's that's the gig. That's he trusts Dial, and he
- 39:37Speaker 5: would just leave him to run the shop. And so
- 39:40Speaker 5: he doesn't know who came in either. He wasn't there, doesn't.
- 39:43Speaker 6: Know, right, And I think they first interviewed him. This
- 39:49Speaker 6: is a statement on March second, sixty four.
- 39:54Speaker 5: I guess.
- 39:57Speaker 7: Interestingly, they had talked to him just just a little
- 40:02Speaker 7: while after they had talked to Dial, and and Dial
- 40:07Speaker 7: didn't share with them what was going on, which was
- 40:09Speaker 7: the weird thing too.
- 40:11Speaker 5: Uh, he didn't really tell Greener what was happening. And
- 40:14Speaker 5: Greener was a little caught off guard by it. And
- 40:17Speaker 5: the thing is this all came about because of an
- 40:19Speaker 5: anonymous tip, and two anonymous tips actually called in, and
- 40:24Speaker 5: one of them from was from a big husky guy's
- 40:27Speaker 5: boys calling in. And I think this is your guy
- 40:30Speaker 5: with the with the lead plant who had the rifles
- 40:35Speaker 5: and was at the worst Drome and was clicking as
- 40:38Speaker 5: it is, spent ammo and taking it all away, and
- 40:42Speaker 5: see that there's all kinds of boxes that just start
- 40:44Speaker 5: getting checked again. Like husky guy with a deep voice
- 40:48Speaker 5: called in anonymously. Yeah, gee, I don't know who could
- 40:52Speaker 5: that be? So right Murph Murph, Yeah, Murph Murph metals. Yeah,
- 40:58Speaker 5: you nailed it. Yeah, that's that's it. So if anyone
- 41:00Speaker 5: wants to check out Mirf and Murph Metals and all
- 41:04Speaker 5: the connections there of what he was doing at the
- 41:07Speaker 5: sports drone, the rifles he was shooting, how they matched
- 41:11Speaker 5: exactly to exactly dial Rider's testimony, you'll be like.
- 41:19Speaker 6: You got yeah, well if you if you want, we
- 41:22Speaker 6: can go to Murph. I have only two slides on him.
- 41:25Speaker 5: Just put up Murf stuff. Yeah, So if you let
- 41:27Speaker 5: me talk about Murph for a second. And Murph lived
- 41:30Speaker 5: with his parents, So the Michael Murph. Now remember he's
- 41:35Speaker 5: by the time of the sports drone, he's got huh,
- 41:39Speaker 5: several years beard growth, he wears beaten and clothes he
- 41:43Speaker 5: wears at the sports drom. He was wearing like green
- 41:46Speaker 5: pants and a red shirt. This guy is a sixties
- 41:50Speaker 5: child man. He's and he lives at his parents' house
- 41:57Speaker 5: or on the property. The parents are, you know, rich
- 42:01Speaker 5: as hell. This has got to be a multi million
- 42:03Speaker 5: dollar a month operation that they're running. Like I say, it's.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Good. Well, one part of the drive to Impala, Wow.
- 42:16Speaker 5: I mean there's there's like seventy acres as part of
- 42:18Speaker 5: the Murf Metal site and then uh, you know there's
- 42:21Speaker 5: another one hundred acres which is the smelting plant and
- 42:24Speaker 5: all this all the stuff they're doing there in West Dallas.
- 42:30Speaker 5: So and I say, there's this giant smoke stack that
- 42:33Speaker 5: stuck way up that supposedly made all the kids have
- 42:36Speaker 5: cancer and stuff from all the viewing out of it.
- 42:40Speaker 5: And that was called the Big Cigar. Everybody in Dallas
- 42:43Speaker 5: knows about these guys and the plant, and that's the Murfs.
- 42:47Speaker 5: That's Murf Metals. And they were a company of like
- 42:52Speaker 5: five or six other companies. So very well to do,
- 42:57Speaker 5: very well. Connected important family with the beatnick Son shooting
- 43:04Speaker 5: guns and reloading AMMO and smelting bullets and un calibers.
- 43:09Speaker 6: Oh, here we go. Though he is described as weight
- 43:13Speaker 6: three hundred pounds. This is on the right side of reading.
- 43:16Speaker 5: Yeah, you're being husky.
- 43:16Speaker 6: Guy five eleven. Uh not that noted that Murph has
- 43:22Speaker 6: a four year growth beard.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Yeah, the standar was nipples.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Wearing the Beatnick clothing. He's got.
- 43:33Speaker 4: The beard kindly smokes.
- 43:38Speaker 5: Kind of ties in with the the Beatnicks from the
- 43:42Speaker 5: Marshfield family. Remember the the the daughter was in Alaska
- 43:47Speaker 5: with their Beatnick husband and they're supposed to meet with
- 43:50Speaker 5: Oswald on November twenty First, do you ever do you
- 43:53Speaker 5: ever read that note?
- 43:55Speaker 6: It's no Alexandra Alexandria.
- 44:00Speaker 5: Yes, exactly. Yeah, she is supposed to come down from
- 44:02Speaker 5: Alaska with her husband, and that there's a there's there's
- 44:05Speaker 5: notes of the interviews with them, and that they were
- 44:07Speaker 5: supposed to meet with Oswald for some reason for what
- 44:10Speaker 5: I don't know, but yeah, at least that's what's left
- 44:12Speaker 5: over in the notes that we have.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Hey, Joe, go back to that last slide with the
- 44:18Speaker 4: picture of him.
- 44:19Speaker 6: Sure it doesn't look three hundred pounds unless.
- 44:22Speaker 4: You No, I just I just noticed it. So they
- 44:25Speaker 4: talked to Floyd Davis. I'm guessing who owns or works
- 44:29Speaker 4: at the sports and it's on West Davis Street, right, yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 4: something like that.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:37Speaker 4: So is this Davis family pretty wheel you know, big
- 44:43Speaker 4: wheels there in Dallas or they were, Yeah, you know they're.
- 44:47Speaker 5: They're old timers, been there a long time. Yeah, big
- 44:49Speaker 5: wheelers to.
- 44:51Speaker 4: The Davis sisters.
- 44:53Speaker 5: No, no, no connection I could find. They're just other
- 44:57Speaker 5: lots of Davis is very common name. So yeah, but yeah,
- 45:02Speaker 5: definitely well connected. You know, you can imagine everybody and
- 45:06Speaker 5: their brother would would go and shoot there legally or
- 45:10Speaker 5: whatever on small caliber stuff. Is that most everybody who
- 45:13Speaker 5: was shooting there that day was shooting like twenty two's
- 45:15Speaker 5: and things like that, you know, target practice, target practice,
- 45:18Speaker 5: and you know, just you know, punting their skills, keeping
- 45:22Speaker 5: the current. And this guy brings in though high powered rifles.
- 45:26Speaker 5: You know, we're talking to thirty at sixes, so very
- 45:32Speaker 5: very easy to pick him out of the crowd as
- 45:34Speaker 5: the guy shooting the big rifle. That shot flames out
- 45:37Speaker 5: the front. And they were always saying that was about Oswald,
- 45:40Speaker 5: you know, always shooting these guns and they're passing these
- 45:42Speaker 5: guns over the fence and all this stuff that's murfh.
- 45:46Speaker 5: All that stuff is MIRF guaranteed, checks that box.
- 45:53Speaker 6: Yeah, and of course he denies. I'm not going to
- 45:56Speaker 6: read this whole thing, but he denies knowing Lee Harvey
- 45:59Speaker 6: Oswald is not recall seeing anyone at the sports Dome
- 46:03Speaker 6: gun range, resembling Lee Harvey Oswald. He does not recall
- 46:06Speaker 6: anyone shooting a rifle with a scope, and believes most
- 46:09Speaker 6: everyone at the range was shooting like you just mentioned,
- 46:12Speaker 6: twenty two caliber rifles. He spoke only briefly with the
- 46:15Speaker 6: person's on his left and right, and this limited conversation
- 46:18Speaker 6: was in regard to clearing firing points so everyone could
- 46:21Speaker 6: go forward and examine their targets. He reloads his own ammunition,
- 46:26Speaker 6: which generally places in cardboard.
- 46:30Speaker 5: Qatone carton cartoons.
- 46:33Speaker 6: Oh cartoons, Yeah, there you go.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Sorry, e s.
- 46:38Speaker 5: It's a small Fontier.
- 46:41Speaker 6: He does not believe he carries ammunition looser in a
- 46:43Speaker 6: cap or blah blah blah. So yeah, that is uh,
- 46:47Speaker 6: that is Michael Murph, a character I was not familiar
- 46:51Speaker 6: with whatsoever at all either. But wow, yeah, we.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Could do a whole show on the Murph and the
- 46:57Speaker 5: Murph metals and all the connections into the sports drone
- 47:01Speaker 5: and the rifles and how that ties in. But yuh yeah,
- 47:07Speaker 5: pretty wild like you say, lots of boxes to check. Uh,
- 47:11Speaker 5: everybody's uh what they said that the sports drone really
- 47:15Speaker 5: points to him, really does Yep?
- 47:20Speaker 4: Sounds like it. I wonder if because what was it
- 47:25Speaker 4: it the sports drone where there's an allegation of somebody Oswald,
- 47:32Speaker 4: if you will, being there with Frasier like and doing something.
- 47:39Speaker 4: Were they were they the ones passing the rifle over
- 47:42Speaker 4: the fence or something?
- 47:43Speaker 5: Yeah, that was That's what they're trying to say that,
- 47:45Speaker 5: you know, they're trying to nail it on to Oswald
- 47:48Speaker 5: and because they just how can you get how can
- 47:51Speaker 5: you get Buel confirs confused with a three hundred pound
- 47:53Speaker 5: guy with four years growth of beard, wearing a red
- 47:57Speaker 5: shirt and green pants, all beat nicked out shooting is
- 48:01Speaker 5: two large caliber rifles that everybody's gonna be like every
- 48:05Speaker 5: time you shoot him. And he was in a certain spot.
- 48:07Speaker 5: You know, there was like twelve stations shooting down the
- 48:11Speaker 5: lane and he was like in nine or eight or whatever.
- 48:15Speaker 5: And Murph himself talks about, well, I know who was
- 48:18Speaker 5: in eleven. That was a couple and who was in twelve?
- 48:22Speaker 5: And well that leaves you, dude, what leaves you? Mister
- 48:25Speaker 5: Michael Burg, the guy that anybody would pick with a
- 48:29Speaker 5: large barking rifle the shop flames. But he didn't have
- 48:33Speaker 5: scopes on them. And that's the other thing, you know,
- 48:35Speaker 5: the these two rifles didn't have scopes, so you would
- 48:38Speaker 5: have to bring them in to a shop and have
- 48:41Speaker 5: somebody drill a tap. Now, these two rifles are exactly
- 48:45Speaker 5: what dial says you would need to side mount on
- 48:48Speaker 5: a US Army whatever for the AT six and I
- 48:52Speaker 5: forget what the other one was, but they match exactly
- 48:55Speaker 5: what you would need to drill three holes, not four
- 48:58Speaker 5: four for a top mount, for certain side mounts. And
- 49:01Speaker 5: that's what this guy had and was shooting at the
- 49:05Speaker 5: sports Row on November sixth or seventh, so he would
- 49:08Speaker 5: have brought it in like the next weekend into the shop,
- 49:12Speaker 5: which would meet the time, so you could pick it
- 49:14Speaker 5: up on the twentieth. They're twenty first. It all fits.
- 49:20Speaker 5: It's just it's it's a hell of a coincidence. If
- 49:23Speaker 5: it's not him that brought this in, somehow got the
- 49:27Speaker 5: Oswalt name put on it.
- 49:30Speaker 6: Well, that was my next question is was it possibly
- 49:36Speaker 6: backdated like the Oswald thing, because no one remembers him,
- 49:41Speaker 6: No one says they do, and I get everyone wants
- 49:43Speaker 6: to get their distance from Oswalt.
- 49:45Speaker 5: Do you just the lady at the counter who said
- 49:48Speaker 5: that the guy who brought it in brought it in
- 49:51Speaker 5: as a scope in a box and a loose mount
- 49:55Speaker 5: and the rifle.
- 49:56Speaker 6: But we know, we know Oswalt was impersonated.
- 50:00Speaker 8: Yeah, so this would and she was shown pictures she
- 50:04Speaker 8: would you know, they you know, they went over this
- 50:06Speaker 8: stuff with her, and he didn't ring any bells for her,
- 50:11Speaker 8: and you know.
- 50:13Speaker 5: That's too bad. I haven't been able to find her,
- 50:16Speaker 5: but you know she hasn't passed away. That might be
- 50:19Speaker 5: something I could you know, contact her about. But you know,
- 50:22Speaker 5: she gave a statement on it that no, you didn't
- 50:26Speaker 5: think it was old Wall. That's what she remembers.
- 50:30Speaker 4: So yeah, a big dude with a big beard would
- 50:34Speaker 4: stick out in her mind if if if it was him,
- 50:36Speaker 4: you know.
- 50:37Speaker 5: Yeah, Well see they didn't show her Murph's pictures. They
- 50:41Speaker 5: showed their Oswald's pictures, which wouldn't ring any bells for her.
- 50:45Speaker 5: Have they shown people, you know, if we knew what
- 50:47Speaker 5: we knew now and we'd showed them back you know
- 50:50Speaker 5: then or whatever. That's that's why I like you know,
- 50:52Speaker 5: going over these people, like we'll get to Virginia Davis
- 50:56Speaker 5: and all the stuff that I sent her and that
- 51:00Speaker 5: he confirmed. Is there anything outside?
- 51:06Speaker 4: Now, let's say let's get into the Davis sisters because sisters,
- 51:10Speaker 4: so quick before you do, ed, I want to show
- 51:13Speaker 4: everybody kind of a diagram here, just so everybody in
- 51:18Speaker 4: their brain, because there's a lot going on here at
- 51:20Speaker 4: the Tippet scene. Right, yeah, there you go. So at
- 51:25Speaker 4: the top of this area here you'll see the last
- 51:29Speaker 4: house on the left and with an air pointing to it,
- 51:32Speaker 4: this says Barbara Davis and Virginia Davis house where the
- 51:37Speaker 4: Davis sisters live. They're right on the corner. Scoggins is
- 51:40Speaker 4: in his cab parked right next to their house patent
- 51:44Speaker 4: yep and JD. Tippett is in front of the house
- 51:47Speaker 4: beside them on street. So Helen Markham is a is
- 51:56Speaker 4: caddy corner on the opposite corner that's right, and Ben
- 52:01Speaker 4: Avid's is in his truck across the street basically from
- 52:06Speaker 4: where Tippet is shot. Just so everybody has an idea
- 52:10Speaker 4: in their head where all this is going on, because
- 52:12Speaker 4: I know the tipp Of scene is crazy when you're
- 52:15Speaker 4: talking about the witnesses, and there's also missus Holland there's
- 52:22Speaker 4: another one. She wasn't on the diagram, But where.
- 52:25Speaker 6: Was she at?
- 52:26Speaker 5: Actually, if you put the diagram back up, you can
- 52:28Speaker 5: see the building where she was in the upstairs apartment
- 52:31Speaker 5: right there at the bottom corner is right next to
- 52:37Speaker 5: the alley. You see the alleys at the at the bottom,
- 52:40Speaker 5: that's the alley, and hers is the one right where
- 52:43Speaker 5: Oswald Sposey would have ran right in front of her
- 52:46Speaker 5: down patent. Okay, So that building right there, that little
- 52:51Speaker 5: square one, that big actually big square one. She was
- 52:54Speaker 5: in the top floor in the front, in her bedroom, Okay.
- 52:59Speaker 4: And she is the one that kind of marked the
- 53:01Speaker 4: time as much earlier than two or one sixteen.
- 53:09Speaker 5: I think everybody pretty much had an earlier time than
- 53:12Speaker 5: one sixteen, But I think.
- 53:14Speaker 4: She nailed it down close to like one o six
- 53:16Speaker 4: because she was watching her show or something when all
- 53:19Speaker 4: this went down. She was actually sleeping.
- 53:22Speaker 5: She was sleeping, and Missus Holland she was asleep. But
- 53:28Speaker 5: I think you're thinking of.
- 53:31Speaker 4: Earleen, Yeah, white lady confused.
- 53:35Speaker 5: Earleen Roberts always watched As the World Turns and the
- 53:39Speaker 5: as the World Turns is half an hour. Strow comes
- 53:41Speaker 5: on twelve whatever, you know, it's over twelve thirty or no,
- 53:48Speaker 5: it comes on at twelve thirty, is at one. So
- 53:51Speaker 5: she would have been watching her show, and supposedly her sister,
- 53:53Speaker 5: Bertha Cheek calls her. She doesn't say it's birth of Cheek,
- 53:57Speaker 5: so you don't see that in any of the reports,
- 53:59Speaker 5: but we know it is. It's birth the Cheek. It's
- 54:01Speaker 5: her sister calls her. Who's Bertha Cheek is the one
- 54:05Speaker 5: who met with Ruby right at the at the club.
- 54:09Speaker 5: They want to start another club. Okay, so they're all
- 54:12Speaker 5: they're they're tired. Everybody's tied together unless they human believe
- 54:16Speaker 5: so Bertha Cheek's calling herth Amie Roberts, who's the lady
- 54:22Speaker 5: who who takes care of the rooming house, the Beckley
- 54:25Speaker 5: rooming House. And supposedly she's supposedly watching her show. Right,
- 54:30Speaker 5: She watches it every day, never misses it. This is
- 54:33Speaker 5: a soap opera. If you you know, miss it, oh
- 54:36Speaker 5: my god, well what happened? You know? So she watched
- 54:39Speaker 5: it every day like clockwork. She gave two different reports
- 54:44Speaker 5: about what she had done. One report was that she
- 54:47Speaker 5: got the call from someone telling her to turn on
- 54:51Speaker 5: the TV. And so she goes and she turns on
- 54:53Speaker 5: the TV. She's stands there messing with the TV, and
- 54:56Speaker 5: in runs Oswald. Goes his room and grabs a jacket
- 54:59Speaker 5: and changes his way ever and runs back out right
- 55:01Speaker 5: as she's up trying to mess.
- 55:02Speaker 4: With the TV.
- 55:03Speaker 5: And did you have the President's been shirt? Okay, yeah,
- 55:06Speaker 5: bull ship anyways, your second. Her other statement was, I
- 55:11Speaker 5: was sitting on the couch watching as the World turns
- 55:14Speaker 5: and then runs Osbald. So yeah, yeah, which is it, lady?
- 55:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 55:21Speaker 5: Really, So that's the that's the that's the problem with
- 55:25Speaker 5: the timeline there. You know, if the show isn't over
- 55:28Speaker 5: until one or whatever, and he's running in and out,
- 55:32Speaker 5: he'd have to grow wings to get there, and then
- 55:35Speaker 5: he's standing over at the bus stop. The timing never
- 55:39Speaker 5: worked out for him. They had to they had to
- 55:41Speaker 5: adjust things to get him to do over here. But
- 55:44Speaker 5: then there's you know, there's so many other witnesses and
- 55:48Speaker 5: I'll I'll go to those, but there was just something
- 55:52Speaker 5: that came up, you know, and I'm like, heat the
- 55:57Speaker 5: clubless lady. I need to find her and call her
- 56:00Speaker 5: because miss that's Charlie Davis, Okay, missus Charlie, Virginia Ruth
- 56:06Speaker 5: Wilbanks Davis. And I was just there's so many questions
- 56:12Speaker 5: and so many uh you know, left things left unanswered.
- 56:15Speaker 5: And then there was stuff by Dale Myers that made
- 56:19Speaker 5: it even worse, because you know, Myers will just twist
- 56:22Speaker 5: things and leave things undone and change things so that
- 56:28Speaker 5: it appears. And I'm like, man, call them this lady,
- 56:32Speaker 5: And so I got to out call her, and sure enough,
- 56:35Speaker 5: I started talking to her, and she started telling me everything.
- 56:40Speaker 5: She's just she just opened it opened right up. And
- 56:43Speaker 5: I guess the only other person she really talked to
- 56:45Speaker 5: was Myers Dale Myers and gave an interview both her
- 56:49Speaker 5: and Barbara Davis. So they were the sisters and they
- 56:53Speaker 5: were living out that place at four hundred, and there
- 57:02Speaker 5: was a couple of things that we wanted to know
- 57:03Speaker 5: because you know, she had said weird things like you like,
- 57:06Speaker 5: the cops were already there and all these kind of
- 57:09Speaker 5: weird statements. Right, I've heard you on the other show
- 57:12Speaker 5: going me, you know what's this with the cops were
- 57:14Speaker 5: already there and all this kind of thing. Yeah, I
- 57:17Speaker 5: wanted to know, So so I just started talking to
- 57:21Speaker 5: her and you know, kind of made friends with her.
- 57:23Speaker 5: And and then and then I started sending her stuff.
- 57:27Speaker 5: I said, have you ever read your testimony or Barber's testimony?
- 57:31Speaker 5: And that was her sister, you know, Barbara Jeannett Davis.
- 57:34Speaker 5: And she goes, no, no, And then I was like,
- 57:40Speaker 5: you know, I see these two guys. I saw these
- 57:42Speaker 5: two guys standing there in the Pikes photos. You know,
- 57:46Speaker 5: the photos of the day, all the whole scenes that
- 57:49Speaker 5: anybody's seen the photos. Those are the Hikes photos or
- 57:52Speaker 5: it's a recreation by the Dallas police, so of the day,
- 57:55Speaker 5: that's your your news guy, Darryl Hikes. When I h
- 58:01Speaker 5: the pictures, as the cops were there and Barnes is,
- 58:05Speaker 5: you know, doing the fingerprinting of the car, all that
- 58:07Speaker 5: kind of stuff's happening right there, and he's taking photos
- 58:10Speaker 5: of it. And I'm like, now there's two dudes. Look familiar.
- 58:15Speaker 5: And so I started looking and I'm looking outline and
- 58:18Speaker 5: I go, who are the We've heard a lot about
- 58:23Speaker 5: the Davis sisters, right, who are the Davis brothers? And
- 58:28Speaker 5: so I found their obituaries and I started looking at
- 58:31Speaker 5: these photos and I'm like, those are the Davis brothers.
- 58:34Speaker 5: Two guys standing right in front of the freaking police
- 58:37Speaker 5: car while Barnes and everybody are there. They're standing right there,
- 58:40Speaker 5: and I'm going, let's see Troy Lee's obituary. Yeah, Charlie's obituary. Yeah,
- 58:51Speaker 5: those are the brothers. And so I was like, I
- 58:52Speaker 5: gotta call this lady. I gotta see if these are
- 58:56Speaker 5: both Troy and Charlie standing there up there now yep.
- 59:01Speaker 5: So when I found those, I was like, dude, that's them.
- 59:05Speaker 5: That's that's got to be them. And so that was
- 59:08Speaker 5: my first question to her. Have you seen these photos?
- 59:11Speaker 5: She's like no. I was like, you've never seen them?
- 59:14Speaker 5: Can I send you these photos? Can I send you
- 59:18Speaker 5: the pictures and ask you if you if you recognize
- 59:22Speaker 5: Troy and Charlie And she goes yeah, sure. So I
- 59:25Speaker 5: send them to her and she next time, I give
- 59:28Speaker 5: her about a week and I call back and I go,
- 59:29Speaker 5: did you get the pictures? She's like, yeah, I got
- 59:31Speaker 5: to back the pictures. I send a whole bunch of stuff,
- 59:33Speaker 5: but she goes, yeah, that's them, that's Troy and Charlie.
- 59:39Speaker 5: So Troy is the guy you see the man in
- 59:43Speaker 5: the suit and Yep, you're pointing right at him. That's
- 59:46Speaker 5: that's Troy. And then right next to him is Charlie
- 59:49Speaker 5: standing next to Barnes. And they were Ruthers, right, So
- 59:53Speaker 5: we heard that they were Ruths. I don't know if
- 59:56Speaker 5: you've read all their all this stuff from the sisters,
- 59:58Speaker 5: but their husband's And there was only one place around
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: that any kind of construction stuff was going on, and
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: that was on the corner of tenth and Denver, just
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: up the block, right the end of the block. They
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: were building apartment complex and so there was brick layers,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: all kinds of construction trades going on there, and there
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: was also roofers. So these guys were doing the singling
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: on the roof and that's why they're there in this picture.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: They had heard the shooting and they had ran back
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: to see what was going on, to see if Barbara
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: and in Virginia were okay, and so they were there
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: pretty quickly. You know, they got down off the roof,
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: ran right over seeing what was going on, is what's
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: going on with Barbara? What's going on?
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: You know, were they living there or did they just
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: were they just happened to be working close to their sisters.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: No, that's their husbands.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Oh okay, okay, I got you.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: So these are these are brothers. These are the Davis brothers.
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: And so the sisters aren't sisters, they're sisters in laws. Yeah,
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: they married the brothers two different girls. Virginia and Barbara
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: married Troy and Charlie Davis. So, and they're living at
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: four hundredsenth but also on Patent right, So they're on
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: the corner. And if you read in their statements and
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: the affidavits and their testimony, which is very very interesting,
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: you'll see it. I have it, Gorana. So the thing
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: is that Virginia lived on the side. She lived on
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: the patent side in an apartment, and then Barbara lived
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: in the front where it looks right out at the
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Tippet scene on timpth right. And supposedly they're both together
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: in Barbara's apartment with the kids with you know, Barbara's
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: two children or whatever. And uh so they were there
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: with the kids, and they were they were sleeping, and
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: the boys, the Davis brothers were down doing their job,
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: down doing the roofing. And but I sent her this stuff,
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: and sure enough, I was like, have you ever read
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: draft David? Have you ever heard your testimony and I
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: sent them all these things and she's like, wow, you know,
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: some of this stuff blew her mind. She hadn't thought
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: about it in the years or anything, you know, like
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: say Dale's probably Dale Myer is probably the only person
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: who's probably talked to her about it. I asked her
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: if you know, did you ever talk to anybody? But
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: she's like, no, Charlie and Troy told us to just
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: keep her mouth shut. I don't say anything about this,
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: just be quiet.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: Shet me, white male, sixteen.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: I think they got that wrong.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: Yeah, she's That's why I say I like him. I
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: like him young, I like I like talking to people
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: like Roy Lewis from the Texas school Book depositoring because
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: he was the youngest guy there. He remembers everything. He's
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: sharp at attacked as far as memory and stuff.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: So yeah, you know, every day, every day.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: So this is one for Guinia, David says in her
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: eleven twenty two. Yes, dpd Affid David, And we're going
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: to read the Secret Service one after which I think
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: goes into a little more detail. Today November twenty second,
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: about one thirty pm, my sister in law and myself
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: were lying down in our apartment. My sister in law
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: is Jeannette Davis.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: Jeanette Davis, Okay, we live in the same house.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: In different apartments. We heard a shot and then another shot,
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: and then ran to the side door at Patton Street. Again,
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: we showed where they were, the four hundred house. I
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: saw the boy cutting across our yard and he was
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: unloading his gun. We walked outside and a woman was hollering,
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: he's dead, he's dead, he's shot.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: This woman told.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: Jeannette to call the police, and she did. I saw
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: the officer that had been shot lying on Tenth Street.
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: After Jeannette had called the police. Jeanette found an empty
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: shell that the man had unloaded and gave it to
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: the police. After the police had left, I found an
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: empty shell in our yard. This is the same shell
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: I gave.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: To Detective Doherty.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: The man that was lo already in the garden was
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: the same man I saw tonight as number two men
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: in the lineup, Miss Virginia Davis, So was that Oswalt
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: number two man?
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Yes? Yes, this is the seven thirty show up or lineup.
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: Right, And of course the lineups are a whole different.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: I sent her pictures with the cops in the lineup
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: and told her who these people were ables and the
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: two cops. I informed her who they were, and she
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: was like, oh, these guys are dirty. She had nothing
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: good to say about the Das police. Now the damn thing.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: I can't. I can't put these words on this thing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: So I'll just let you imagine what she said about
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: the cops.
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: Tell you we talked about William Wally Wednesday night here
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: on a members only show, and when and he he
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: viewed the lineup too on Saturday, and of course he
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: said it was the number three man, but then he
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: was he was viewing it as well, oswell, was the
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: second man in the room from left.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: Big numbers over their heads, right right, Yeah, he's number
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: he's number three. What was the number of his head? Oh?
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: Who oh, I'm counting from right to left, doesn't everybody?
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: Yeah, So here's.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: Here's a little here's a little tidbit that she told me.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: Mm hmm, I got three, I got three good ones
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: that she told me. No where to start? So ut, yes, Virginia, okay,
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: you told me once. Should we go with? First? She
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: told me that somebody came out who wasn't just a
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: regular cop to the scene, like not wearing a top uniform,
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: like not wearing a copy uniform. Can you guess? I'll
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: give you two guesses.
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: I'll go first, Westbrook.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Kroyp and Nope, Will Strintz, Will Fritz blew my mind.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: I'm like, what the hell are you talking about?
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: Will Fritz?
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: She goes, yeah, Will Fritz was at the scene, came
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: out there, and she didn't have good words to say
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: about him either, because I guess, uh, you know, they
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: had they had came back out basically after the shooting
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: and everything that happened. You know that when they had
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: called the police and all that kind of stuff, they
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: went back in kind of locked the door and stayed
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: inside until you know, everybody came around and they came
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: back out and they were looking at the body and
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: all this kind of stuff. But uh, sometime Will Fritz
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: came out there. And with this, this is what I've
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: been trying to figure out, is like, remember all the
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: rumor or all the talk about Will Fritz when he
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: left the Texas school, But depository nigs come downsteps everything
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: and and him and whatever boyd or Sam's right or
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: with him, and then they leave right right exactly suppose
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: that they went to Decker's office. Well who's have you
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: ever seen the pictures of Decker's office? Yeah, where they've
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: got the cares all the way around the room with
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: all everybody there from uh from uh laterry floor to
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: you know, Ewens to all these people are in his
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: office at this time, and supposedly will Fritz comes in
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: there and stops everything talk that no one ever says that,
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: not a damn soul. I can find nothing, if anybody
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: ever saying, oh I know we saw will Fritz going
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: into the you know, into the building, or Will Fritz
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: going into his office, or him taking a break and
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: going to talk to him, I can't find anything like that.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: So where did Will Fritz really go? And why would
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: he why would he need to go out there? You know,
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: it was very interesting that she said that. So I've
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: been trying to nail that down.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: But why she him?
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: She had known him, right, Yeah, she knew that wil Fritz. Yeah,
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: and she goes, you know, she got his hat on,
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: it comes out, and she didn't like him one bit
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: because he was basically trying to tell her what she saw. Interacted,
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: I guess for a minute and she's man, I was there.
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: You know, it's like some guy come and tell her, Oh,
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: you didn't see that, man, Where have you heard that before?
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: The Dallas Coficer, the sheriffs. But uh so that's one
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: of those little tidbit secrets that now you know to
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: look out for. Where did Fritz go during that fifteen
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: twenty minutes? You know, it does take long to drive
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: over there see what's going on? And then he went
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: back because they had arrested Lee at the theater, So
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: then he goes back to headquarters and they bring them
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: in just about the same time. You know, he's days
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: he arrives, you know. So yeah, all this stuff about it,
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: well I sent these guys out to Irving. Well, you
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: would just send them to Irving, or you'd make a
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: phone call to Decker be like, yeah, I'm sending my
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: guys out to Irving. Can you have your guys, you know,
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: meet meet us there. Why do you need to go
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: to his office and talk to them? I mean, all
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: that stuff was all rumory, bogus stuff, and it always
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: sat in the back of my mind every time I
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: heard them, like why would you need to go clandestinely
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: meet with Decker? Probably because it never happened. That's the
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: whole thing. It's probably all a bunch of garbage. So
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: you would just send Boyd and Simms out there whatever,
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: you know, and you know it just Yeah, this stuff
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: strives you crazy because it sits in your head and
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: then you hear this stuff and you're like, you're kidding me.
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: So we we just did a show on Westbrook and
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: his crazy movements. Uh, last week the week before.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: West Wood Gerald Hill, come on, man, what were these
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: guys doing running around everywhere? Who? Who does still having
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: the car?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: And I'll got a picture of that Kroy had autographed
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: and said, uh, found found the wallet or Oswald's wallet
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: at tip at the Tippet scene.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: And he's I'm glad you brought up the wallet. So okay,
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: here's here's something. Here's the other thing that I'd never
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: really heard before. Okay, and you can put up the
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: street you know the signs that are knocked down. You
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: can put up those pictures. Yeah, put up the picture
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: of the knockdown sign. And I don't explain why there's
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: so many pictures of a knockdown sign.
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: I've always wondered that.
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: Okay, this is gonna fill it this is gonna blow
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: your mind, filling in all those blanks, all those little
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: cleepy things in your head. Right, So they're taking pictures
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: of a floor up here right, Well, why do they
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: have all these pictures of this knockdown sign? What the
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: hell does this have to do with anything?
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: How is this right beside the Davis house?
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: Exactly exactly right beside the Davis house. Now, what she
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: told me kind of blew my mind. I was talking
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: to her and everything about all this, and she said,
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: do you know about the guy who ran into our porch?
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: I was like what.
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: She goes, Yeah, a few hours before the Tippet shooting,
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: a guy runs into her porch, runs over the signs, everything,
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: and hits the house.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Damn.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: I was like, no, what are they Why these pictures
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: of the signs everything?
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: I was like, this is crazy.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: We gotta we gotta investigate this. So, you know, me
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: and the guys at Jack's I told them all about
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: this and stuff, and so we started looking at it
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: and everything. We're like, you know what, there was a
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: guy who hit their house in a car. It was
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: an accident that happened right there in that intersection just
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: a few hours before. Then, there's an accident report and
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: mensils there. All the all the cops who were supposedly
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: in this you know, this section, this area are at
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: this scene and they're all hanging around.
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: So this.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: Guy who works as a grocery store for Wyatt's department manager,
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: you know, he's one of the managers. He had just
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: got transferred from Fort Worth, and so he's got a
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: house just up the street there by Helen Markham, and
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: he is driving through the intersection, supposedly runs the stop
- 1:14:02Speaker 5: sign going down Patent, and this kid in a truck
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: going down tenth about thirty five miles an hour, hits
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: him in the side of his car hard enough that
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: it spins the car around three point sixty sends it
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: off through this sign, through the yard, and then hits
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: the porch and the Davis sisters freak out, run the
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: out see this car hit their house. They call the
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: police and so all the police come and they're all
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: there and they make a report, and you can you
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: can put up Emry Austin's picture now that we know
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: what had happened there. And I asked her, do you
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: do you know who this guy this guy was? Did
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: you know she could describe the car and stuff. But
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: there was a there was a death right there there
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: there we go right there on that right there on
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: that corner, there was a death just before tippets.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: So he died.
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: Nope, this log died. The kid hit him so hard
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: when it spun the car around, it blew the door open.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: The dog flew out and was killed instantly.
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: Oh shit.
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: So that's a picture right there. You can see him
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: on the on the left, I guess it would be
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: of him with the bow tie. Is Emory Austin. And
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: he's the manager there the Wyatt's food store or whatever.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: And yeah, he's the one who got in the accident.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: He was hit so hard that he had to go
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: to the hospital. He was he was knocked unconscious or whatever,
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: and he had to have a metal plate put in
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: his head. Damn, damn. This kid supposedly hit him, only
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: doing thirty five miles an hour. Nope. Oh, I don't
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: know who the kid is. Because you can now put
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: up the accident report. If you see that one, it's
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: called accident report. I think it's labeled. I believe.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: I might not have it.
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: You got it.
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: It's it's a good one.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: I'll find it in a second.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: Yeah. So the accident report, it's it's pretty interesting because
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: you know, like I say, it says it's all blacked out.
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: The other guy's name is blacked out. The kid he's
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: like sixteen or whatever.
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: So oh oh, oh oh, the black and white one.
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, yeah, I got it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: And uh so he supposed to hit him at thirty
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: five miles an hour, and I mean, way, you're not.
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: You're not going to do that kind of damage and
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: spin the car out and do all that kind of
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: stuff at thirty five miles an hour.
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: So this is one of them, and then the next
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: one I have in two pieces.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: That's that's the actual report there. Yeah, and it talks,
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: it gives the information, but you'll see they don't give
- 1:17:16Speaker 5: the kid's name. It's blacked out. So Myers deal. Myers
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: actually got this from the police department. They still had it,
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: and so he was able to get it. He you know,
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: figured out who Austin was because of Mary. Mary is
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: the girl who went with lad Holland to get the
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: blanket to put over Tippett's body. This is.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: The daughter.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: Mary is the daughter of Emory Austin. Who was at
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: the scene, who was there with little Lad who's thirteen
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: at the time. And the funny thing about Ladd and
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: the timing is that Ladd was downtown at Dealey Plaza.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: His dad took him to see the president. Right they
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: watched the parade go by, and his dad says, let's
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: get out of here. You know, it's gonna be tough
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: to get out of So they they leave from by
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: the courthouse. They leave, They get in the car, are
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: able to get out of the traffic and get back
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: to where his school was, which was like a Catholic
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: school or whatever up on Marsalis or whatever. And Ladd says,
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: I'm not going to school. And there's an interview with
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: Lad done by Gavin McMahon and it's on YouTube, so
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: you can look up Ladd Poland and Gavin McMahon does
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: an hour long interview with him, explains everything. But Ladd
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: was walking home to that house that I showed you
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: that is there by the alley on Patent and Lad said,
- 1:19:03Speaker 5: I didn't hear any shots. And he was walking all
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: the way down on Tenth Street. He didn't hear any shots.
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: But when he gets down there, he sees the commotion
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: of people there. He saw a tippet's dead body, and
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: so he had seen you know, like you know, black
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: and white movies and things like that, where they go
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: and they get they put a blanket over the dead
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: body and stuff. So that was in his mind to do.
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: He lad had a tough youth, so he worked a
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: lot of jobs. He worked paper route, so he knew
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: the whole neighborhood. He threw papers to almost every house,
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: so he knew everybody's you know, had dress and all
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: the people there. And he also worked at Dean's Dairy Way. Now,
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: if you know about where the or ran down and
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: went within the Texico, well, he would have gone right
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: in front of Dean's Stairy Way. And the lady at
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: Dean's Dairy Way, Dottie, I believe it was her name,
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: Dottie Freeman, and her her husband owned Dean Stairyway, Dean Freeman,
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: and that's milk and ice cream and all that kind
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: of stuff and some produce and things like that, you know,
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: a little little store and has roll up doors. And
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: she heard commotions. This is interesting because she went out
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: and she looked and there's an empty lot and then
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: there's a two story house, right, but the bottom was
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: all storage for furniture store. That was just another house
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: over whatever, and that's where they it stored, like furniture
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: in the bottom and all the everything that you read Betrae,
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: the my she tells you like, this house was just
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: they're just old old houses for furniture. Well, no, upstairs
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: was an apartment that was actively lived in by a
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: thirty year old lady. So whenever Dotty heard commotions, she
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: went out, and this guy who had ran down the
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: street ran up the stairs on the side of the
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: building and was trying to get into that door to
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: that second floor apartment. Very interesting. I found out who
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: it was and everything. I've got it on zack site
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: and stuff. But she was at she worked at like
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: a grocery store as a manager. Not I don't think
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: it was Whits. But anyways, so this guy runs down,
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: runs over to go behind the Texaco, right, and she
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: followed him. Dotty followed him, she says. The guy went
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: over between Dean stairway and the textico and then took
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: off his jacket and threw it on the rack. So
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: there's a tire rack, you know, spose and threw it
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: on there and then ran down towards the alley. She
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: told the cops that she goes, yeah, there's this jacket
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: right there, and supposedly the jacket was found where under
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: your car rather back in the law all this kind
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: of stuff, and she was like, no, it's that's what happened.
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: Once the guy I followed him. They totally discount her.
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: You won't find her in the warrant commission or any
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: of this kind of stuff. So very selective of what
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: they want the story to be. And she was thirty
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: years old too, That's the thing. This isn't some doddering
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: old lady.
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: When Dale Myers contacted her, of course, she was, uh,
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: you know, like whatever, eighty or yeah, she wasn't in
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: good health and so uh And then her her daughter said, no,
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: don't believe her. She doesn't know what she's talking about
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: all this kind of stuff, and Tyres Dale Myers is
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: right on that, Yeah, I mean, she's old. She didn't
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: much talk about She was a thirty year old lady
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: who knew exactly what had happened and explained exactly where
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: this guy went and what he did. The cops jacket
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: throw in the rack, all this kind of stuff. Lad
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: work there and see whenever he had. After the shooting,
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: he hung around for a little while and he went
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: to go go to work. So he went over to
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: Dean's stay away and there's Doddie trying to explain to
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: the comps, Hey, this is what happened. This is what happened,
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: and they pretty much told me out, no work today.
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: You know, this is stuff's going on, come back tomorrow, right,
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: So he goes to go to his other job, not
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: throwing papers, but he works at another job too. Lots
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: of jobs, right.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: This is.
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: Got a single mom was trying to help out. He's
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: just got other other kids and the family and stuff.
- 1:23:49Speaker 5: So he goes to the bowling out which is just
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: down Jefferson Oklaan's, and he goes in there and he's
- 1:24:00Speaker 5: cleaning up after a tournament. So they had a tournament
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: in the morning, they're gonna have another tournament at night.
- 1:24:05Speaker 5: So he comes in and he gets to clean all
- 1:24:07Speaker 5: the garbage and stuff like that for them. You know,
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: he does odd jump and so Lad says there was
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: some weird stuff going on there. There was the lady
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: who horse the little cafe, was trying to explain to
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: these two detectives cops Fallas police that this guy had
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: ran in.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: To be.
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: To the bowling alley and went back into the bathroom,
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: which you have to kind of know where to go
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: to go back in the bathroom, and he had a
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: pistol shove down his pants and he ran in and
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: went and hid in the bathroom and the manager went.
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: She told him, hey, this guy went went to the bathroom.
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: Who's this guy?
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: Because I guess they get people off the street come in,
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: kind of hang around, go use the bathroom and stuff.
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: So the manager goes in rouse him out. He got
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: to get out of here. Man, you can't use their bathroom.
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: Milisty customer or you know, you're bowling or whatever. Kicked
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: him out. But they put two and two together, I guess,
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: and they're figuring, who's this guy with a pistol and
- 1:25:13Speaker 5: a pistol in his pants? They ran in off the street.
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: Very interesting and let's see that's where lad You know
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: he was young, he was thirteen, so where he remembers
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: all this, you know, vividly, and he's he's a great
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: great interview. I suggest you go watch that interview with
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: Ravin McMahon on YouTube. On an hour and twenty minutes.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: But his mother was the one, like I say, with
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: the upstairs apartment that looked down the alley. Now, like
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: I'm telling you about this Austin, Emory Austin, who had
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: had the accident. All the cops were there, so they
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: had to come to both cars, and reason was told
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: that truck was messed up, the kid walked away or whatever,
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: but they had to come towbo. So you could see
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: on the report that it's the same tow truck driver
- 1:26:06Speaker 5: comes and gets both cars. If you've ever had your
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: coach or car towed or anything like that, you know
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: it's gonna take a while. So we're talking several hours
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: of them just coming, guy coming, towing, going back, throwing
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: into the yards whatever. And so you know, cops hang
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: around for this stuff. They stay at the intersection, they
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: fill out a rip or they drew die. You know,
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: they were there. That's what Virginia's telling me. She goes,
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: the cops were there, man, they were there up until
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: maybe an hour before, you know, out front, and then
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: they left. So they were there. And then you've got
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: lad Holand's mother, Marrick or whether saying that she sees
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: this other cop car in the alley when the shooting happens, right,
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: like it hadn't left, it was still there. There was
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: still a cop there or something that's going on. So
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: there's a lot more to the story. And then you've
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: got all of Mentzel Menzel, remember Menzel took lunch. Here,
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: You've got the president coming to town, You've got this
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: huge parade, right, all this kind of stuff happened. How
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: did Dallas police treat it? Did they call everybody in, Yeah,
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: it's your day off, it's your day off. Who cares,
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: it's just the president, It's just Kennedy, right, thank You're like,
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: so here you had Menzel taking lunch, Well why would
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: you Well, if it's depleted of officers in that area
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: in Oakliffe, people let the Mensill just take a lunch.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: So he's in Luppy's cafe, right, So that's on the
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: corner there of Adams and Jefferson, just a couple couple
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: doors down from the corner Adams.
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: It's part or right, who's that Mentell is?
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: He was?
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: He supposed to be Tippet's partner.
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: No, I think you're you're thinking about the other guy.
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: But uh, Menschell normally works that that that's section, that's
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: the right TIPPT works a totally different area and he
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: was brought in right and so, uh but Mentell goes
- 1:28:24Speaker 5: to lunch. Here's here's the shooting of the president happening
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: right then, and he's like calling in a good launch anyways.
- 1:28:34Speaker 5: So and then there's all kinds of weird things with
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: Menzel too, because Harry's Harry's saying, oh, I left part
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: of my lunch and had leave or I had to
- 1:28:44Speaker 5: go use the phone because I heard the president of shot.
- 1:28:47Speaker 5: And at one point he says, well, I was in
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: line getting my lunch and the guy behind the counter
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: somebody told me the president of Well, which is it? Buddy?
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: Were you eating lunch? Were you getting your lunch? Why
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: would you use the phone? You got the race you
- 1:29:00Speaker 5: in your car if you just heard the president Mitch shot?
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: Why are you trying to call in to head quarters? No,
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: just makes sense. Who's he calling? Okay? Just down the street? Okay,
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: we're on atoms the bull doors down as lobbies, you're
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: down on the other corner. It's the top ten. Who's there?
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Tip it?
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: So within a block you've got mental and tippets supposedly
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: making phone calls. Very weird, Yeah, very strange coincidences of
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: what's going on here. And then these cops are having
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: to used phones when they've got perfect good radios. Yeah,
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: they're using.
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: Telephones, which makes it ready to hear them on the radio.
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: There's something's going on, right, But yeah, and so like
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: within a block, you've got both these cops on there
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: at the same time making phone calls.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: It's just very odd, very weird, very very strange.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: Yeah, and I want to address a comment here from
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: two seventy four, johanet Grodon talks to a commotion with
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: teenagers and a stabbing. I think earlier that day the
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: same location of Tippet's murder and rob if my memory
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: serves me correctly, which it usually doesn't. I think one
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: of our first episodes after the Markham series was after
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: the Martin series, was dem Markham Boys and Helen Markham's
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: son was a big uh.
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: That's what we had yan to talk about. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: we have the shows to talk about the Markham Boys.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: Yeah. And in the Tenth Street Gang did they call
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: it okay? Do you have any interesting insights on that?
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: That was Cecil Smith who supposedly witnessed the fight and
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: they supposed attempted stabbing. I don't think there was any
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: actual stabbing, but there was somebody who pulled a knife,
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: is what he said. Wasn't a stabbing, but somebody there
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: was a fight between kids and a knife was pulled
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: and that's when people jumped in the car and drove
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: away and other guys ran off. That's that's the thing
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: that Cecil Smith witnessed. That Like people like Dale Myers go, oh,
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: that guy, don't know what he's talking about, don't worry
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: about that. But yeah, he just witnessed something that fits
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: exactly with what would be going on with the Tenth
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: Street Gang and Markhamson. Now you've got a picture that
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: I found when I was looking at the Hikes photos.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: I said, dude looks like Dango. So you got a picture,
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: a high school picture. Uh, that be just a few
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: years before this, before the the Pippot murder of a
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: guy who is all dagga, right, he's one of the
- 1:32:02Speaker 5: guys who who shot somebody, right, supposedly one of the
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: witnesses we know, well.
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: Yeah, well we spell his name out because it's apparently
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: a slurryans Italians.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: That picture. When I saw that, that just struck me
- 1:32:20Speaker 5: as God, that that guy looks a lot like like him.
- 1:32:25Speaker 5: I mean, you know, you give you give him from
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: his high school picture to there and the little hair
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: loss on the side.
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: And man, so this is from the group that was
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: standing around the tippets uh police car.
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: With the DA I think that's Charlie's ear right there
- 1:32:45Speaker 5: in front of a space and uh, very interesting. He
- 1:32:50Speaker 5: looks exactly like Diego.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: So that dude is a character, man, I'll tell you.
- 1:32:55Speaker 5: Yes, right.
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: Rob does a great impression with him.
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: I heard about its Mark Lane interview is classic. Uh
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: you know he tells him, oh yeah, Jack Ruby, he
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: would just eat him and stuff, he wouldn't have sex. Well,
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: he just eat him and stuff.
- 1:33:14Speaker 3: So good.
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: You can't make it up. And there's a lot of
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: funny things going on, from the stop sign to attempted stabbing, uh,
- 1:33:25Speaker 6: to the tip it thing.
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: To yes shooting after there's uh there's Bert Smith, you
- 1:33:36Speaker 5: know Bert Smith, one of the kids who had seen this,
- 1:33:40Speaker 5: who was supposed to leave with his friend, and he's
- 1:33:43Speaker 5: possibly a wall from the army or whatever. You don't
- 1:33:47Speaker 5: know what's going on there. So here's another little Secret
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: Virginia and Barbara. When they get back from the lineup,
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: it's probably ten o'clock at night. He tells me that,
- 1:34:03Speaker 5: you know, they got taken down there, you know, like
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: five thirty or six or whatever. The cops came and
- 1:34:08Speaker 5: picked them up, collected them and that shell that that
- 1:34:13Speaker 5: she had found, and she turned that over the doorty
- 1:34:16Speaker 5: and they took her down to the lineup and they
- 1:34:18Speaker 5: were there all night, you know, until it probably didn't
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: get Britt back till like ten ten thirty, right, And
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: the boys were there at home, you know, the Davis
- 1:34:29Speaker 5: brothers taking care of the kids, and they're like, damn,
- 1:34:31Speaker 5: what's going on here? So the girls get back right,
- 1:34:35Speaker 5: the boys say, packed your shit. They packed up their stuff,
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: you were it in the car and drove to Athens, Texas,
- 1:34:44Speaker 5: where they were actually from.
- 1:34:47Speaker 4: Than just like that.
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: Here's the weird thing. At about seven in the morning,
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: knocking on the door and they're like, what the hell.
- 1:34:58Speaker 5: They had just got you know, and just got in,
- 1:35:00Speaker 5: got to sleep and everything, and there's two very buff,
- 1:35:06Speaker 5: big looking Secret Service agents, gone come back with us
- 1:35:11Speaker 5: to Dallas, right now, get in the car. They took
- 1:35:16Speaker 5: the girls back.
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: To Dallas, and how far away was Athens from.
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: All eighty hundred miles. You know, it's a drive a
- 1:35:27Speaker 5: couple of hours. It's not part of Dallas feeling like
- 1:35:30Speaker 5: the Big Ring. It's quite a little way to go.
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: It's like one hundred someone. So it gets a little
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: drive and you won't find anything about this in any
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: secret Service report. You if they had mistaken me, mistaken
- 1:35:45Speaker 5: these guys for FBI agents, there's no FBI report, there's
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: nothing like that. But they said these were Secret Service
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: agents and they found them within hours of them high
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: telling of out Dallas. And she told me the reason
- 1:35:59Speaker 5: why because this was gang activity and they had just
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: thought they had just identified a gang member. They didn't
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: know who Oswald was right, They had no clue. They
- 1:36:15Speaker 5: were like, let's get the hell out of the odd
- 1:36:18Speaker 5: and so the Davids boys were like, man, don't talk
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: about this. Get in the car. We got to get
- 1:36:24Speaker 5: out of here. And so they went back to where
- 1:36:25Speaker 5: they're from and he told me this all has to
- 1:36:31Speaker 5: do with Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby was the one who
- 1:36:34Speaker 5: ran the gang. I was like what, because yeah, yeah,
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: that's the guy who's behind the Tenth Street gang. He's
- 1:36:42Speaker 5: like the mob guy who has these boys do the work.
- 1:36:49Speaker 5: You know, they're not gonna get in trouble, so they
- 1:36:51Speaker 5: do whatever it taking. You, robberies, all this kind of stuff,
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: break ins, whatever, whatever needs done that's to Jack would
- 1:37:01Speaker 5: have to do it.
- 1:37:02Speaker 4: I was like, oh, this is blowing my mind.
- 1:37:04Speaker 5: What are you talking about. She's like, yeah, this is crazy.
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: So if you remember the phone number, remember Miller was
- 1:37:13Speaker 5: in the phone book of Jack Ruby, but that phone
- 1:37:16Speaker 5: number went to the Davis sister's phone. What now, ask
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: him about this. I'm like, how long did you have
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: the phone? They said, well, we had just moved there,
- 1:37:28Speaker 5: you know, like the month before, and we only had
- 1:37:30Speaker 5: the phone since we had moved there. But here it is,
- 1:37:34Speaker 5: you know, Larry Craigford or Crawford or whatever he wants
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: to call himself, Smokey. He wrote that number in there
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: and he hadn't been there that long. So what's going
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: on that that this Miller number is in there and
- 1:37:50Speaker 5: it goes to the Davis sisters. The coincidences are just
- 1:37:56Speaker 5: mind blowing. So yeah, just alone had done picked up
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: and happens and brought back to the Secret Service, and
- 1:38:04Speaker 5: there's no record of this. There's there's no report what
- 1:38:08Speaker 5: did they talk about in the car for this length
- 1:38:09Speaker 5: of time? They didn't ask him any questions. They didn't.
- 1:38:13Speaker 5: These are two agents that didn't file a report, didn't
- 1:38:17Speaker 5: write anything. We're just sent to go collect the girls
- 1:38:20Speaker 5: like a taxi cab. Very weird boys. This is very
- 1:38:25Speaker 5: exceringe stuff. When you when you hear this from them,
- 1:38:27Speaker 5: you're like, holy crap, you want you want to know
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: another little secret?
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: Of course, I dull.
- 1:38:34Speaker 5: So the want commission was going on, right, and they
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: wanted the girls to come to DC right. Virginia tells them,
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: stick it up your ear, I'm not going anywhere. So
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: they basically had something over on Barbara, and they made
- 1:38:56Speaker 5: Barbara fly to Washington, d C. When she was eight
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: months pregnant alone go testify for the warrant was from
- 1:39:05Speaker 5: in d C.
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: Damn, damn WHOA. I was like, why why.
- 1:39:13Speaker 6: Barbara not Virginia.
- 1:39:15Speaker 5: Virginia was dead set against even talking about it, but
- 1:39:19Speaker 5: they they said they're gonna subpoena her and they're gonna
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: come get her. Yeah.
- 1:39:26Speaker 6: Well yeah, but they usually when they were interviewing all
- 1:39:30Speaker 6: these people in Dallas, they usually sent mister Ball there.
- 1:39:34Speaker 5: He did, and he interviewed her. He did at the
- 1:39:38Speaker 5: at the post office. They set up an interview and
- 1:39:41Speaker 5: she came in and she agreed to go ahead and
- 1:39:44Speaker 5: do an interview in Dallas, but she refused Flatley to
- 1:39:48Speaker 5: be flown to Washington, d C. And be interviewed by
- 1:39:52Speaker 5: the Commission.
- 1:39:54Speaker 6: Yeah, but I mean, the only reason I could think
- 1:39:56Speaker 6: is intimidation at that point alone, eight months pregnant. Crazy, right,
- 1:40:04Speaker 6: that's the only reason I could think that you'd want
- 1:40:06Speaker 6: to do that.
- 1:40:08Speaker 5: Barbara just went along with it. She just unbelievably he
- 1:40:12Speaker 5: went it's crazy craziness. And like just talking about like
- 1:40:21Speaker 5: Bert Jimmy Burton, it's kind of the same thing happened
- 1:40:27Speaker 5: to him, right. The thing with him was they took
- 1:40:34Speaker 5: him the other way. They took him to whatever Carrol,
- 1:40:38Speaker 5: Texas or wherever the army base was. They stuck him
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: in a car and drove him back to where he
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: was supposed.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: To go.
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: Because he was supposed to be back by Monday or
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: something to being on the base. And there is nothing
- 1:40:57Speaker 5: about what they talked about.
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: In that car.
- 1:41:00Speaker 5: Are what was going on with Burt in that car,
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: not a damn thing. You only have the stuff of
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: When they got to the base, they interviewed him. I'm
- 1:41:11Speaker 5: gonna talk to the guy in the car for three
- 1:41:14Speaker 5: hours or whatever it takes to get to them. So
- 1:41:17Speaker 5: wild man, I mean, nobody talking cars and they with
- 1:41:22Speaker 5: the scenery right at night when pit's black.
- 1:41:27Speaker 4: Oh, sure he's going to be raining hard to daily anything.
- 1:41:32Speaker 5: Exactly. That's a good bule right there. Exactly. Nobody talks
- 1:41:35Speaker 5: in cars, no one. So these are all very interesting
- 1:41:38Speaker 5: things you find out when you start, you know, talking
- 1:41:41Speaker 5: to people who are actual witnesses and speaking to them
- 1:41:45Speaker 5: about this stuff.
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: And there was the weird thing about Lewis. Lewis was
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: Barbara's father, Barbara Jeannette Davis, she was the father, and
- 1:42:02Speaker 5: she was staying over at Virginia's Right supposedly at this time,
- 1:42:06Speaker 5: and he supposedly had found a shell out in the yard.
- 1:42:15Speaker 5: He had came home the tops had taken the girls
- 1:42:19Speaker 5: to go the line up. He suposedly came home and
- 1:42:22Speaker 5: looked around the yard and found a shell, and he
- 1:42:25Speaker 5: had it in his belongings and still had it years later,
- 1:42:30Speaker 5: I guess when Myers contact him and she had him
- 1:42:32Speaker 5: describe it, and she says it was silver or great, No,
- 1:42:38Speaker 5: it was great. It wasn't like chrome or anything like that,
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: like you know the shows we see that had the
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: course of the gun belt residue from cops gun belt,
- 1:42:52Speaker 5: nothing like that. Now, it was supposedly like a gray
- 1:42:55Speaker 5: shell and it was something he had found and kept
- 1:42:58Speaker 5: as a souvenir. And that's what the girls had done,
- 1:43:01Speaker 5: you know. Virginia told me that whenever she found hers
- 1:43:04Speaker 5: or whatever, and she put it up on the mantle
- 1:43:06Speaker 5: and they had it in a little piece of paper
- 1:43:08Speaker 5: and they were going to keep it as a souvenir
- 1:43:09Speaker 5: or whatever. But then that you know, the cops came
- 1:43:11Speaker 5: to get out, we better give this to them. So
- 1:43:16Speaker 5: very interesting little details that you find out.
- 1:43:20Speaker 6: It's crazy.
- 1:43:22Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, there's very very interesting bits there. And like
- 1:43:27Speaker 5: I was telling you about the Emry Austin, like whenever
- 1:43:31Speaker 5: the dog flew out of the car and got killed
- 1:43:34Speaker 5: and you had to get a plate in his head.
- 1:43:37Speaker 5: And there's part of that report there, and that's the
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: one that's uh filled out by if you put it
- 1:43:49Speaker 5: back up, I build it to tell yeah, but.
- 1:43:52Speaker 6: It's I got it all the way back here. Oh
- 1:43:55Speaker 6: let's see.
- 1:43:58Speaker 5: Sorry, he gave me a lot of sun and you
- 1:44:01Speaker 5: can see that it actually says that they wouldn't they
- 1:44:06Speaker 5: talked to the daughter. Well, why didn't they go talk
- 1:44:10Speaker 5: to Emry Austin? Why did they contact the daughter? At
- 1:44:14Speaker 5: the very bottom, you'll see, that's the they didn't know
- 1:44:18Speaker 5: what was going on there. They were getting Pete Barnes
- 1:44:20Speaker 5: to come out and take samples of the paint on
- 1:44:23Speaker 5: the pole because they thought this was part of some
- 1:44:26Speaker 5: right Why Tippett was there? And I asked, I asked Virginia,
- 1:44:30Speaker 5: I go, did did Tippet show up there because of
- 1:44:33Speaker 5: the accident? She goes, No, No, he didn't show up
- 1:44:38Speaker 5: for the accident. He wasn't there at that time. You know,
- 1:44:40Speaker 5: he showed up about an hour later is when he
- 1:44:44Speaker 5: showed up and the shots happened.
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: And but yeah, was R. D.
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: Lewis there? Wouldn't he like to polygraph his animal?
- 1:44:52Speaker 5: They were trying to bring in all these people, like
- 1:44:54Speaker 5: you know, Barnes to get samples of the paint off
- 1:44:56Speaker 5: the pole, and like they had no idea was they
- 1:44:59Speaker 5: just try to ask Virginia like her or mental or
- 1:45:02Speaker 5: anybody else, Hey, what happened with this accident? It's very strange,
- 1:45:06Speaker 5: it's very weird. But down at the bottom where it
- 1:45:11Speaker 5: says it talked they talked to the daughter or whatever.
- 1:45:14Speaker 5: Why'd they go and talk to the daughter. They had
- 1:45:16Speaker 5: all this information from the cops and the report and
- 1:45:19Speaker 5: an accident report and all this kind of stuff. And
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: the only thing I could think of is that everything
- 1:45:27Speaker 5: flew out of the car. The dog flew out of
- 1:45:29Speaker 5: the car. He flew out of the car. Everything flew
- 1:45:31Speaker 5: out of the car.
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: Right, was the daughter with him?
- 1:45:34Speaker 5: No, not the daughter, the dog.
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: Right right? The daughter was with him too.
- 1:45:39Speaker 5: She wasn't there. She wasn't there in the car for
- 1:45:43Speaker 5: whatever reason. She was still at home, you know, and
- 1:45:47Speaker 5: he was going wherever it was on a Friday in
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: the morning. I don't know why I would take your
- 1:45:54Speaker 5: dog to work if he was going to, you know,
- 1:45:56Speaker 5: be the manager of the store. But the dog was
- 1:45:58Speaker 5: in the car.
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: She made a very no shit statement. Uh, daughter of
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: Emory Austin stated her father hit stop sign no shit,
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: I mean done.
- 1:46:11Speaker 5: And why did they have to go get that from her?
- 1:46:14Speaker 5: They've got crops, they've had cops that are it's like
- 1:46:16Speaker 5: cle are trying to just And the only thing I
- 1:46:20Speaker 5: can think of is they went to return his wallet,
- 1:46:23Speaker 5: well maybe his wallet flew out of the car and
- 1:46:26Speaker 5: was found there in the bushes. It has nothing to
- 1:46:30Speaker 5: do with Oswalt or anybody else. It was just Emory's
- 1:46:34Speaker 5: wallet that flew out of the car, that was laying
- 1:46:36Speaker 5: in the bushes, and when everybody looking for shells and stuff,
- 1:46:39Speaker 5: somebody found the wallet gives it to what's this? What's
- 1:46:42Speaker 5: his name? And then this gets on film and people
- 1:46:47Speaker 5: see it and all kinds of rumors and things get started.
- 1:46:50Speaker 5: But it all's just it's very simple to explain. It's
- 1:46:53Speaker 5: probably Austin's wallet that he lost. Whenever everything flew out
- 1:46:58Speaker 5: of the car is dog Everything flailed the car. Who knows,
- 1:47:03Speaker 5: maybe there is even some bullet hilts, We don't know.
- 1:47:08Speaker 5: All yeah in the car, but everything went everywhere and
- 1:47:11Speaker 5: then the car hit the house and the girls. Can
- 1:47:14Speaker 5: you imagine being those sisters. They don't know what's going
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: on that day. People hitting the porch, and then there's
- 1:47:22Speaker 5: cops getting shot and there's cars in the alley and
- 1:47:25Speaker 5: people are like, what is going on today?
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: I mean, the.
- 1:47:28Speaker 5: President's getting murdered. From their standpoint, the Davis boys were
- 1:47:35Speaker 5: correcked in law and pack of shit, we're getting out
- 1:47:38Speaker 5: of here. There's bang fights, there's near stabbings. All this
- 1:47:43Speaker 5: stuff is going on, and I don't care who wants
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: to minimize it. If you're these girls and these boys,
- 1:47:50Speaker 5: you're like your ste Martha getting out Dallas and they did.
- 1:47:58Speaker 5: Can they come and get them and him back to Dallan?
- 1:48:00Speaker 5: It's so wild it blows my mind.
- 1:48:07Speaker 6: Yeah, good instincts they had.
- 1:48:12Speaker 5: That there's any more slides you want to go through
- 1:48:14Speaker 5: or anything?
- 1:48:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess well we'll touch on Grossi and Bowen, Yeah,
- 1:48:22Speaker 6: both of them quickly.
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: Yehezer Grossy.
- 1:48:27Speaker 6: Yeah, the same one, John Caesar Grossi Junior. This looks
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: like his World War two draft card. I've seen a
- 1:48:35Speaker 6: few of those draft cards. We showed this so on left. Wait,
- 1:48:40Speaker 6: we showed the Ribery Library card on the right. Right. Yes,
- 1:48:45Speaker 6: of course, Oswald putting him as his reference.
- 1:48:49Speaker 5: You got the while you got that card up there?
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: What's the address?
- 1:48:55Speaker 6: Nineteen sixteen Stevens Forest Drive.
- 1:49:01Speaker 5: Actually Oswald's address.
- 1:49:02Speaker 6: I'm the on the on the card, oh six or
- 1:49:05Speaker 6: two Elsbeth.
- 1:49:06Speaker 5: And who was the manager? Do you remember?
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: Was that the lady on the bus knew the.
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: Elsbeth manager was.
- 1:49:20Speaker 4: Oh, what was his name?
- 1:49:22Speaker 5: Mollin Malin and his wife. Him and his wife were
- 1:49:31Speaker 5: the managers of that. And what's weird is do you
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: remember Frank right.
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: Yeah, he was a witness to the typical shooting.
- 1:49:44Speaker 5: Right. Uh. So Frank right uh was sitting sitting in
- 1:49:49Speaker 5: a chair by the door, and so the shooting happened,
- 1:49:51Speaker 5: and he gets up out of his chair, opens the door,
- 1:49:56Speaker 5: and steps out in the street and sees what he's
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: says is Tippet laying in the street and the guy
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: leaning over him. And this is after the shots happen,
- 1:50:07Speaker 5: of course, and the guy goes around the car, runs
- 1:50:12Speaker 5: and gets them to another car that it's parked behind
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: Tippets but facing the wrong way on that side of
- 1:50:19Speaker 5: the street, and.
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: Takes off right the silver car.
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: An old get these plymouth tudor coop or something, right,
- 1:50:30Speaker 5: And that's that's what Frank Wright had to say. And nobody,
- 1:50:35Speaker 5: nobody would give him the time of day. Right, Oh,
- 1:50:37Speaker 5: you don't what you're talking about. And they would always
- 1:50:39Speaker 5: like myers and things. They would they would point to
- 1:50:41Speaker 5: his wife because his wife called and she says within
- 1:50:45Speaker 5: a minute or something, And so they try and discount
- 1:50:48Speaker 5: what Frank did because of how long it took for
- 1:50:52Speaker 5: her to make the phone call or the phone call
- 1:50:54Speaker 5: to get to the ambulance, all this kind of stuff.
- 1:50:56Speaker 5: So they try and conflate the two and discount what
- 1:51:01Speaker 5: Frank Wright said.
- 1:51:04Speaker 6: Speaking of conflating the two, let's talk about Jack L.
- 1:51:08Speaker 6: Bowen and John Grossi, who correct me if I'm wrong, sir,
- 1:51:14Speaker 6: are the same person?
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: Yes, yes, and alias and one name. His name's Girlsy.
- 1:51:23Speaker 5: But when he's working at the you know Jagger's child Stowball,
- 1:51:27Speaker 5: he has this alias of you know, Jack Bowen.
- 1:51:30Speaker 6: That's that's it's really weird.
- 1:51:35Speaker 4: A rap sheet a mile long.
- 1:51:36Speaker 6: Literally, Yeah, we're gonna that's the next slide, Rob. I
- 1:51:39Speaker 6: was just going to read this little thing here on
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: the left. So on the FBI is seeking John Caesar Grossy, Yes,
- 1:51:52Speaker 6: who is also known as Jack Bowen, who was described
- 1:51:55Speaker 6: as a fugitive charged with a lawful flight to avoid
- 1:51:59Speaker 6: prosecution for the crime of death of by false pretenses.
- 1:52:04Speaker 6: On July thirteen, sixty four, federal warrant was issued in Dallas,
- 1:52:08Speaker 6: Texas for the above offenses. White American born in Paterson,
- 1:52:14Speaker 6: New Jersey, nineteen twenty seven.
- 1:52:17Speaker 4: Hey, that's the home of Silk City Hot Sauce. Everybody
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: oh yeah, yea.
- 1:52:22Speaker 6: Our sponsor. Yes, us are called Gunman for twenty percent off.
- 1:52:27Speaker 6: And by the way, Rob, I did send my Italian
- 1:52:31Speaker 6: peppers I brought back from.
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: Italy to mister Silk City Jeff to grow them sweet
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: our own screen.
- 1:52:41Speaker 6: Yeah, thanks all for that. Grassi has traveled extensively throughout
- 1:52:46Speaker 6: the United States Canada with occupations of commercial artists, cartoonist,
- 1:52:52Speaker 6: advertising workers, salesman, blah blah blah blah.
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: Sounds a confidence man to me, Joseph.
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: Well, what this is what you were waiting for? Rob,
- 1:53:03Speaker 6: Let's get this going back to forty five, right, you got.
- 1:53:09Speaker 5: As soon as out of the military, Yes.
- 1:53:12Speaker 6: Right, right? Think about well yeah, I mean not even
- 1:53:15Speaker 6: before World War two ended, but I think that. Look Shreveport,
- 1:53:19Speaker 6: Trey shut out Sreeport.
- 1:53:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:53:24Speaker 6: By the way, we have a question. I have a
- 1:53:25Speaker 6: question from for you from Trey, one of our biggest supporters,
- 1:53:30Speaker 6: about the Gay Nineties Club, which you referenced exactly two
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: hundred episodes. He pointed out to me one sixty nine.
- 1:53:38Speaker 6: That was the last time. You're on way too long?
- 1:53:40Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:53:42Speaker 6: Then improper or imper impersonation US Navy in person Impersonation
- 1:53:50Speaker 6: Section seventy sixteen Impersonation Government Official dire Act.
- 1:53:56Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:53:58Speaker 6: Listen, dire Act.
- 1:53:59Speaker 5: I know what that is, so I looked that up
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: a long time ago.
- 1:54:02Speaker 6: I don't remember either, but yeah, uh, anyways, forty forty nine,
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: fifty two, fifty two, fifty three, fifty six, fifty nine,
- 1:54:11Speaker 6: fifty nine, fifty nine and oh wait, this is the
- 1:54:16Speaker 6: same thing.
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: The dire Act refers to the National Motor Vehicle Theft Act.
- 1:54:21Speaker 5: Yes, which these guys did a lot of him and Mentooth.
- 1:54:25Speaker 5: That's that's why I was telling you about the the
- 1:54:28Speaker 5: stealing of the motor home and going to camp in
- 1:54:31Speaker 5: Oklahoma with Fleeta and Little Larry and Big Larry. Big
- 1:54:38Speaker 5: Big Larry is mantoose sun and very interesting.
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: So it was.
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: And these guys were operating from Portland to I see,
- 1:54:51Speaker 5: the East Coast, I mean the whole us. They were
- 1:54:54Speaker 5: stealing cars and doing all this stuff for years. Man
- 1:55:00Speaker 5: Tooth was famous for things he did in the military.
- 1:55:04Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:55:05Speaker 5: If you see some of the articles about him that
- 1:55:08Speaker 5: I gave you, they're all coming up. I have them all.
- 1:55:12Speaker 5: It's just crazy these guys like to say. These guys
- 1:55:16Speaker 5: were both married to Fleeta Mimi and uh, dout Writer's
- 1:55:22Speaker 5: sister and yeah, and then they actually lived right across
- 1:55:26Speaker 5: the street from Homer and and you know, uh Belma
- 1:55:32Speaker 5: and then they had a place there and until they
- 1:55:34Speaker 5: moved later on and they got divorced, and then she
- 1:55:37Speaker 5: married man Tooth. And but Mattooth, I mean it did
- 1:55:41Speaker 5: crazy stuff. He was like in the airborne or whatever
- 1:55:44Speaker 5: and dropped in and had this dog save him from
- 1:55:47Speaker 5: the Germans and see stuff. But then they just these
- 1:55:52Speaker 5: guys as soon as they got out, you know, we're
- 1:55:54Speaker 5: just stealing cars and robbers, robbing post offices. Uh. And
- 1:56:01Speaker 5: then and then tell him the cops all about it.
- 1:56:04Speaker 5: And that's I mean, how do you have a rap
- 1:56:06Speaker 5: she ten miles long and are out of prison all
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: the time dropping dropping the diamond everybody else?
- 1:56:14Speaker 6: Yeh. When did Grassy adopt the Bowen alias? Do you know?
- 1:56:26Speaker 5: I know that's a that's that's so he got arrested.
- 1:56:29Speaker 5: And that was about the time that he had he
- 1:56:34Speaker 5: had gotten divorced I think from Fleeta, and she had start,
- 1:56:40Speaker 5: you know, because that's why she got divorced, because he
- 1:56:44Speaker 5: was I think he was using the Bowen thing. And
- 1:56:48Speaker 5: he got put in prison and that was pretty much
- 1:56:49Speaker 5: it for her, and so then she hookscept with Matthew.
- 1:56:53Speaker 6: Okay, so and so in nineteen sixty three he was
- 1:56:57Speaker 6: using Bowen.
- 1:56:59Speaker 5: Yes, yes, he was out of prison and then he
- 1:57:03Speaker 5: was using Bowen, but he used it, you know, prior
- 1:57:07Speaker 5: to that, you know, it was like part of his aliens,
- 1:57:11Speaker 5: got it. He had also like said, he used man too,
- 1:57:14Speaker 5: because they had met in prison. Both these guys were
- 1:57:16Speaker 5: in some prison farm in Oklahoma or somewhere in some
- 1:57:22Speaker 5: place and they got they got somehow met each other,
- 1:57:25Speaker 5: and you know, and Flida marrying Mary and Fleeta both
- 1:57:31Speaker 5: of themselves.
- 1:57:33Speaker 6: So very interesting since that I guess FBI report or
- 1:57:44Speaker 6: you know report came out that said, like he's on
- 1:57:46Speaker 6: the run, which I guess was in sixty four. They
- 1:57:49Speaker 6: don't really catch up with him until nineteen seventy, right, Yeah,
- 1:57:54Speaker 6: it's so.
- 1:57:54Speaker 5: Odd that you can go that long and hide from
- 1:57:57Speaker 5: these guys.
- 1:57:57Speaker 6: Yeah, right, and we're gonna we're going to get to
- 1:58:00Speaker 6: his seventies statements right now actually, and they caught up
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: with him on April tenth, seventy. Jack Leslie Brown jack
- 1:58:12Speaker 6: Leslie Bowen was asked if his true identity was not
- 1:58:16Speaker 6: John's Caesar GROSSI advised that it was his true name.
- 1:58:21Speaker 6: But his fingerprints interesting here I picked up on blacked
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: out redacted. Now could that have been because they were
- 1:58:35Speaker 6: maybe found on the rifle.
- 1:58:37Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:58:38Speaker 6: I'm spitballing here. I don't know on the carcano.
- 1:58:43Speaker 5: If he's you know, like I say, if he's some
- 1:58:45Speaker 5: kind of informant and things like doing that kind of
- 1:58:47Speaker 5: things for them, that makes sense. Things get blacked out.
- 1:58:51Speaker 5: You know, there's there's stuff he's doing better favor.
- 1:58:56Speaker 4: Other Sorges were that might have gotten blacked out.
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: Yeah, so they catch up with him, they go through
- 1:59:04Speaker 6: all this New Mexico stuff that you could explain to us.
- 1:59:07Speaker 6: I'm not going to read all this.
- 1:59:10Speaker 5: It was all that out, isn't it weird?
- 1:59:14Speaker 6: Yeah? As still further background information, subject's former wife, Fleda
- 1:59:22Speaker 6: Bowen Mantooth Irving, Texas, states that Subject is a very
- 1:59:26Speaker 6: excellent artist and is possibly still engaged in this occupation.
- 1:59:30Speaker 6: She stated that while married to the subject, she noted
- 1:59:34Speaker 6: he was able to both gain and lose very rapidly,
- 1:59:39Speaker 6: weight very rapidly, and his weight could vary from one.
- 1:59:41Speaker 5: Point fifty to two hundred pounds within a few months.
- 1:59:44Speaker 5: Well I wish I had that skill. Right.
- 1:59:51Speaker 6: Then we go to these next two documents that are
- 1:59:55Speaker 6: dated on the same day, and they're talking about stolen cars,
- 2:00:05Speaker 6: same type of thing. They're the same person. I think
- 2:00:09Speaker 6: we've gone over most of this. But so they eventually
- 2:00:12Speaker 6: catch up with him in New Mexico in nineteen seventy,
- 2:00:17Speaker 6: so like six years later, right, and which is crazy,
- 2:00:22Speaker 6: like you mentioned, And then you have a Department of
- 2:00:28Speaker 6: Justice same day talking about the arrest Roy mant Rory Mantooth,
- 2:00:35Speaker 6: who we're gonna get to in a second released as
- 2:00:37Speaker 6: hitchhiker in car now identified as accomplice of Grossi, Garci
- 2:00:43Speaker 6: and Mantooth, the bandit in Phoenix nineteen seventy Oldsmobile rental
- 2:00:49Speaker 6: car from Columbus, Georgia.
- 2:00:55Speaker 5: They were stealing cars and selling them back to the
- 2:00:57Speaker 5: places they stole them from, like our dealers. One guy
- 2:01:01Speaker 5: would steal the car, the other guy would sell it
- 2:01:03Speaker 5: back to them. Crazy.
- 2:01:07Speaker 4: Are they rent a car and try to sell sell it?
- 2:01:10Speaker 5: Yeah, all kinds of weird.
- 2:01:13Speaker 6: They had, They had tricks, right, So now let's get
- 2:01:17Speaker 6: to this guy in Mantooth because actually this is the
- 2:01:21Speaker 6: same thing that kind of says the same uh, roy
- 2:01:25Speaker 6: Lee Mantooth, who was also.
- 2:01:28Speaker 4: Yeah, Joe, would you ever take Ruby into a fox
- 2:01:32Speaker 4: hole with you in the middle of World War two?
- 2:01:37Speaker 6: No, because she's scared of everything. She'd run out of
- 2:01:41Speaker 6: the foxhole. Why someone.
- 2:01:46Speaker 5: Take Ruby right in there?
- 2:01:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I have to just dog into the fox holes
- 2:01:52Speaker 4: in World War two? Right, yes, Yeah, And she saved
- 2:01:57Speaker 4: life a couple of times.
- 2:01:59Speaker 5: Yeah, worked and told him that the Germans are coming
- 2:02:02Speaker 5: and trying to get in.
- 2:02:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and he incoming and coming eighty eight right, and you.
- 2:02:09Speaker 4: Can see that.
- 2:02:10Speaker 5: The general goes, we'll let him keep the dog with
- 2:02:13Speaker 5: him in the hospital even when he's you know, wounded,
- 2:02:16Speaker 5: I mean, just crazy stuff.
- 2:02:18Speaker 4: You're like, what, Yeah, Like why the hell let him
- 2:02:21Speaker 4: have a dog on the battlefield? Like the hell?
- 2:02:28Speaker 6: And And yes, Ed, I did. I did name my
- 2:02:30Speaker 6: dog Ruby.
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: Uh, that's great.
- 2:02:33Speaker 4: Yes, And I.
- 2:02:35Speaker 6: Wanted I wanted a JFK related name. And she's a girl,
- 2:02:40Speaker 6: so uh. And wherever we adopted her named what not Fleta, Yeah,
- 2:02:48Speaker 6: because it's done that her Dolma. Right.
- 2:02:52Speaker 5: But there there's your work here. Yes, he steals cards
- 2:02:58Speaker 5: in the war, right.
- 2:02:59Speaker 6: Uh, we've already gone over his extensive wrap sheet and
- 2:03:08Speaker 6: so he's caught, he's interviewed the same.
- 2:03:11Speaker 3: Day as.
- 2:03:14Speaker 4: They're called together anything, they're called together.
- 2:03:18Speaker 5: Yeah, Well he walks away from the car and I
- 2:03:20Speaker 5: think they you know that it was like at the
- 2:03:22Speaker 5: gas station or something, and then they said the guy,
- 2:03:25Speaker 5: the one guy ran away, and they tried to the hitchhiker. Yeah,
- 2:03:30Speaker 5: I'm a hitchhiker.
- 2:03:35Speaker 6: Oh man, you can't make this stuff.
- 2:03:37Speaker 4: You can't make it up.
- 2:03:38Speaker 6: Man, And look at man Tooth's uh.
- 2:03:43Speaker 5: Oh yeah. I mean as soon as he gets out,
- 2:03:45Speaker 5: he's he's robbing and stealing cars and uh, breaking into
- 2:03:50Speaker 5: post offices and you name it. I mean, it's just.
- 2:03:55Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean this is even before the war too.
- 2:03:57Speaker 5: Which yeah, I'm believed. I mean, it's just crazy. These
- 2:04:01Speaker 5: guys were war heroes, are in the war and then
- 2:04:04Speaker 5: they just give it, just go crazy after they get
- 2:04:06Speaker 5: out right.
- 2:04:09Speaker 6: Possession of beer for sale and dry, territory permitting on
- 2:04:16Speaker 6: unlicensed person to operate vehicle, burglary, burglary, larceny, larceny, car theft,
- 2:04:21Speaker 6: auto theft, burglary, burglary, vagrant, suspension of pimp.
- 2:04:30Speaker 3: I m V.
- 2:04:31Speaker 6: What does that mean again? Forgery, burglary, theft, burglary, times.
- 2:04:37Speaker 4: Three invasion maybe home invasion maybe, Yeah, that's a good guess.
- 2:04:45Speaker 6: Oh this guy, they're two pieces in a pod. Huh
- 2:04:49Speaker 6: and yeah, think we got more here. Uh oh yeah,
- 2:04:53Speaker 6: this goes to fifty one. Yeah, so then we go
- 2:04:56Speaker 6: fifty three. I mean bro post office Berkeley Burke, Uh
- 2:05:04Speaker 6: post office burglary. I guess that's the same charge. Breaking
- 2:05:08Speaker 6: into post office with latent with intent to commit larceny,
- 2:05:14Speaker 6: another breaking into post office down. These guys are they
- 2:05:18Speaker 6: have their Niche had a hustle.
- 2:05:22Speaker 4: Uh Grandma's sending birthday money and cards you know around
- 2:05:26Speaker 4: Christmas fell right? Yeah, yeah, no, they were.
- 2:05:30Speaker 5: They were stealing uh stamps and uh postal money orders.
- 2:05:38Speaker 5: And this was also happening in Dallas. And uh this
- 2:05:41Speaker 5: ties in with the the the guy I told you
- 2:05:45Speaker 5: about before who had gotten the gun at the Shell
- 2:05:48Speaker 5: service station in Irving. Uh, there was also an involvement
- 2:05:52Speaker 5: there of a postal break in, and some of these
- 2:05:55Speaker 5: guys were tied to it. And uh they were doing
- 2:05:59Speaker 5: the same thing. When you wonder where they get the
- 2:06:01Speaker 5: ideas or who is behind some of this, But they
- 2:06:05Speaker 5: were stealing postal money orders and forging them. And so
- 2:06:09Speaker 5: these guys are forgers artist, that's another term for faking things.
- 2:06:14Speaker 5: He's able to forge and make things right. And so
- 2:06:20Speaker 5: here he is at Jagger, Charles Stovall, I mean Grocy
- 2:06:24Speaker 5: at least h they're both forgers. But uh here you
- 2:06:27Speaker 5: have him there, and then all this stuff about Oswald
- 2:06:30Speaker 5: gets turned over to the FBI and things starts showing
- 2:06:34Speaker 5: up IDs and oh yeah, here's all this stuff that
- 2:06:38Speaker 5: he left. Uh huh. I mean you just gotta wonder.
- 2:06:42Speaker 3: You know, you're like.
- 2:06:44Speaker 5: These guys helping us, you know, set them up, you know,
- 2:06:47Speaker 5: after the fall or what's going on. You know, they're
- 2:06:50Speaker 5: they're the FBIS go to guys, you know, because they've
- 2:06:53Speaker 5: got records and they'll do anything to help out and
- 2:06:56Speaker 5: do a favor. And here's stay out there right there,
- 2:07:00Speaker 5: I mean right there with dial right there with his sister,
- 2:07:04Speaker 5: right there with Oswald, I mean very very I mean
- 2:07:09Speaker 5: we're not even talking one degree separation here with the
- 2:07:13Speaker 5: Kevin Bacon eight degrees, they're right there. I mean, it
- 2:07:19Speaker 5: doesn't get me.
- 2:07:20Speaker 6: This stuff is hot, right, and I think this is
- 2:07:24Speaker 6: the last one I have. And this was the article
- 2:07:29Speaker 6: you were referring to later.
- 2:07:31Speaker 5: And yeah, I found these. I was like who is
- 2:07:33Speaker 5: this guy? This is great. This is gonna be really
- 2:07:37Speaker 5: hard for me to read.
- 2:07:40Speaker 4: But basically what it says Joe is a prisoner free
- 2:07:42Speaker 4: for seventy five days. Valves he won't go back to prison.
- 2:07:45Speaker 4: And he's like, he ain't never gonna take me back
- 2:07:48Speaker 4: to prison. See what I'll do, I'll I'll I'll slash
- 2:07:52Speaker 4: my wrists.
- 2:07:53Speaker 5: I won't.
- 2:07:53Speaker 4: They won't take me alive.
- 2:07:58Speaker 5: Unbelievable.
- 2:07:59Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, you can't make this stuff up. Yeah.
- 2:08:03Speaker 6: In the middle you have the general won't separate the
- 2:08:05Speaker 6: wounded Texan and dog with I respect dogs.
- 2:08:11Speaker 4: Yeah, the Pomeranian little Harry Bastard Pomeranians.
- 2:08:19Speaker 6: In the battle and the Battle of Saint lo which
- 2:08:21Speaker 6: is yeah, paratrooper, right Normandy, Yeah, yeah, big.
- 2:08:25Speaker 5: Big battle pig war hero went into the battle.
- 2:08:28Speaker 4: Yeah, the dog jumped out with the dog strapped to
- 2:08:31Speaker 4: his chest. Wow.
- 2:08:32Speaker 6: He was just twenty eight year old.
- 2:08:34Speaker 5: That's that's old for for airborne.
- 2:08:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:08:38Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a big guy. You look at him, he's
- 2:08:42Speaker 5: a Yeah, he was quite quite quite fit.
- 2:08:46Speaker 6: Yeah. He and he talks about the flea bite he
- 2:08:49Speaker 6: takes from shrapnel and I wouldn't take a million dollars,
- 2:08:53Speaker 6: which is like ten million then for a flea bite,
- 2:08:56Speaker 6: said Mammoth. Uh man too, I'm sorry, Uh.
- 2:09:05Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, all the opportunity these guys could have with
- 2:09:08Speaker 5: all their their war hero stuff and all this that
- 2:09:11Speaker 5: they they're just criminals.
- 2:09:14Speaker 6: They just you know, wonder how much possible PTSD factored
- 2:09:20Speaker 6: into that too. I guess some of it was before,
- 2:09:23Speaker 6: so that might not be a valid argument. Then you
- 2:09:26Speaker 6: have his uh oh bit on the right.
- 2:09:30Speaker 5: Yes, and uh, what's the date of this?
- 2:09:37Speaker 4: Another time fleet Byte smelled a bunch of Jerry's creeping
- 2:09:41Speaker 4: up on us, and his training or his warning enabled
- 2:09:44Speaker 4: us to get in first with hand grenades blow them up.
- 2:09:47Speaker 6: Yeah, well he married He married fled A Rider on
- 2:09:52Speaker 6: December seventh, sixty three. That's like two three weeks after
- 2:09:59Speaker 6: the two a half weeks after the assassination.
- 2:10:01Speaker 5: He's getting married.
- 2:10:02Speaker 4: Interesting in Albany, New York, is that right?
- 2:10:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 2:10:06Speaker 4: It is Albany in Texas.
- 2:10:08Speaker 6: It could be in Albany in Texas, but I think
- 2:10:10Speaker 6: it's New York.
- 2:10:12Speaker 5: Very interesting.
- 2:10:15Speaker 6: And uh yeah, it's uh these guys man running this
- 2:10:22Speaker 6: gun shop, dealing with all the DPD.
- 2:10:24Speaker 4: Cops and the Albany in Texas.
- 2:10:28Speaker 6: But okay, it could have been.
- 2:10:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:10:31Speaker 5: Probably all very interesting, isn't it.
- 2:10:36Speaker 6: It's near Abilin Abilin abl It's fascinating.
- 2:10:41Speaker 4: What's written your Dallas. Actually it's right outside of Dallas.
- 2:10:45Speaker 6: Okay, okay, okay, that makes yeah.
- 2:10:48Speaker 5: But I wanted to get back tell you one thing
- 2:10:51Speaker 5: about Frank Right. Remember Frank Right. And he'd witnessed everything,
- 2:10:57Speaker 5: and they didn't give him the time of day, and
- 2:11:02Speaker 5: he moved. He was right there on tenth Street, you know,
- 2:11:05Speaker 5: just a few doors down on the north side, and
- 2:11:10Speaker 5: he had witnessed all this stuff happened. Gave him the
- 2:11:12Speaker 5: strips of the car, the guy in the long coat
- 2:11:14Speaker 5: that ran away and got into the car and drove off,
- 2:11:17Speaker 5: and all this stuff. And on that library card is
- 2:11:22Speaker 5: the you know, the address six O two six four
- 2:11:25Speaker 5: whatever it is. Elsbeth the manager. There was mister and
- 2:11:30Speaker 5: missus Tobias Maylon Tobias Well in nineteen sixty four, just
- 2:11:38Speaker 5: you know, I mean a few months after this happened,
- 2:11:45Speaker 5: Rank moves out, and a lot of people did. They
- 2:11:48Speaker 5: got the file out of the neighborhood, except for m
- 2:11:53Speaker 5: Jimmy Burt. He moved upstairs. Jimmy Burt moved upstairs in
- 2:11:59Speaker 5: the apartment that was above the Davis sisters, right, he
- 2:12:04Speaker 5: moves up there from across the street as father in
- 2:12:07Speaker 5: laws moves up there. Kind of weird. And but Frank
- 2:12:13Speaker 5: moves out and in moves the Tobiases into Frank's place.
- 2:12:22Speaker 5: You're like, hats that's kind of a weird move to
- 2:12:26Speaker 5: move from Elle'sbeth managing the apartment and now living in
- 2:12:30Speaker 5: the apartment that was Frank's. Very strange, very strange.
- 2:12:37Speaker 4: And that's thanks to.
- 2:12:38Speaker 5: Tony Crome and John Manning who figured out that little
- 2:12:41Speaker 5: detail of mister Tobias's movements and Missus Tobias.
- 2:12:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean a lot of these Dallas people are
- 2:12:49Speaker 4: just so intertwined with each other, these crazy connections, just
- 2:12:54Speaker 4: so much.
- 2:12:54Speaker 5: That's what the That's what they were telling me when
- 2:12:57Speaker 5: I was talking to these these these gals. They kept saying,
- 2:13:00Speaker 5: these people are all interconnected in weird ways. She goes,
- 2:13:05Speaker 5: she goes, you couldn't trust the police, And I was like, well,
- 2:13:09Speaker 5: could you trust tipp It? She goes, yeah, you could
- 2:13:11Speaker 5: probably trust tipp It. But that's about as far as
- 2:13:13Speaker 5: it went any of the higher ups. That's why Jack
- 2:13:17Speaker 5: Ruby was bringing envelopes full of cash you know, and
- 2:13:22Speaker 5: passing them out like candy, you know, at the headquarters downtown.
- 2:13:27Speaker 5: Because these guys were all on the take. They couldn't
- 2:13:32Speaker 5: really be trusted. And and that's that's the Davis sisters
- 2:13:37Speaker 5: and the boys said, you know, get the hell out
- 2:13:40Speaker 5: of here. We can't we can't depend on the cops
- 2:13:43Speaker 5: to save us from these people, the Yangs and the stuff.
- 2:13:46Speaker 5: So that's why they left. They said, this all relates
- 2:13:48Speaker 5: to Jack and these gangs, and that was what was
- 2:13:52Speaker 5: going on.
- 2:13:53Speaker 4: There, and and him paying the cops off exactly black
- 2:13:58Speaker 4: man with his women. And we got a couple of
- 2:14:02Speaker 4: comments here, ed, we got James, So what's the point
- 2:14:05Speaker 4: of this tangled web? Well, you know, I always looked
- 2:14:09Speaker 4: at the at the uh, the tip of shooting is
- 2:14:13Speaker 4: just a cluster fuck of witnesses for lack of a
- 2:14:17Speaker 4: better term, who seemingly all saw something different and nothing
- 2:14:23Speaker 4: lines up, and it's all crazy. And then when you
- 2:14:27Speaker 4: you know, you hear about the the the Marking Boys
- 2:14:31Speaker 4: and the Tenth Street Gang and Daego and all these
- 2:14:34Speaker 4: bad other bad seeds that are all around there, and
- 2:14:38Speaker 4: all these other people now that we hear are all
- 2:14:40Speaker 4: interconnected as well, and and you know, possibly connected to
- 2:14:44Speaker 4: Jack Ruby. You know, that's why we're looking at it.
- 2:14:49Speaker 4: It's all interesting information. I mean, it's it's crazy. It's
- 2:14:53Speaker 4: mind blowing to me, you know, to learn all this.
- 2:14:55Speaker 6: I love.
- 2:14:55Speaker 4: I'm a geek for all this ship. I love it.
- 2:14:58Speaker 5: Uh yeah, the ultimate connection, everything that leads back to
- 2:15:02Speaker 5: Jack Ruby and to the people around Jack and Irving
- 2:15:08Speaker 5: and the you know, even like the furniture store lady
- 2:15:13Speaker 5: and the setup there at the Irving sports Shop. You know,
- 2:15:16Speaker 5: them having him supposedly Oswald going into the furniture store
- 2:15:22Speaker 5: and the lady going, well, I sent him up to
- 2:15:24Speaker 5: the to the to the gunsmith there, and it's like, well,
- 2:15:30Speaker 5: was he looking for something for his gun?
- 2:15:31Speaker 3: Well?
- 2:15:31Speaker 5: No, but yeah, that's where I send him. And all
- 2:15:33Speaker 5: these people when you dig into their backgrounds and what
- 2:15:37Speaker 5: they were doing and stuff, they have intimate connections with
- 2:15:41Speaker 5: each other that would lead you to believe that they're
- 2:15:44Speaker 5: doing all each other a favor by pointing the finger
- 2:15:49Speaker 5: at Oswald and implicating Oswald. So and then it all
- 2:15:53Speaker 5: boils back down to Jack Ruby, who is who even
- 2:15:58Speaker 5: set himself. I wanted to go to California, but I
- 2:16:01Speaker 5: was instructed to go to Dallas. I forget we told that,
- 2:16:07Speaker 5: but that's a quote from him.
- 2:16:10Speaker 4: And who, by the way, lived a couple of blocks
- 2:16:12Speaker 4: over from all.
- 2:16:13Speaker 5: This, right, who was running these gangs, so you know,
- 2:16:17Speaker 5: so he would be right in the middle. And then
- 2:16:19Speaker 5: you know, like we did at Jack's, like Tony and
- 2:16:22Speaker 5: John Manning, they would go into all the movements of
- 2:16:26Speaker 5: all these people and the places they stayed, where Jack
- 2:16:29Speaker 5: moved in. So Jack he lived at that apartment building, right,
- 2:16:34Speaker 5: and who is his neighbors, Dallas cops right next door,
- 2:16:39Speaker 5: and then you know, they move and they go to
- 2:16:41Speaker 5: this other place that's related, and then the strippers move in,
- 2:16:45Speaker 5: and it's just this it's such a little web of
- 2:16:50Speaker 5: things going on there around Jack Ruby. It's just it's
- 2:16:55Speaker 5: it's very interesting. I mean, it takes hours to go
- 2:16:57Speaker 5: into in each one and their movement and how they
- 2:17:01Speaker 5: you know, how they relate to the case. But it's
- 2:17:04Speaker 5: just amazing. Yeah, I can't give enough thanks to the
- 2:17:07Speaker 5: guys at Jack's. You know, it's we get together, we
- 2:17:10Speaker 5: just we just boil everything down. We're you know, every
- 2:17:15Speaker 5: everything that we could find out about these people we
- 2:17:17Speaker 5: put out there, and then you start comparing notes and
- 2:17:20Speaker 5: you're like, yeah, this is crazy.
- 2:17:23Speaker 4: Yeah, so well that's what I love about about things
- 2:17:28Speaker 4: to dig into, you know, from from this to the
- 2:17:32Speaker 4: rooming house, you know, where's your rider and all that stuff.
- 2:17:36Speaker 4: Man and prayer man of course, and and killing it
- 2:17:40Speaker 4: over there. And I appreciate you.
- 2:17:43Speaker 6: Ed coming on here. Oh thank you, senate. All fan
- 2:17:49Speaker 6: care matter with eyes wide open, blushing, thank you, thank you.
- 2:17:55Speaker 6: I think he or she definitely enjoys the show, this
- 2:18:00Speaker 6: episode for sure.
- 2:18:03Speaker 4: And did you mention you have a YouTube channel?
- 2:18:09Speaker 5: No, no, I really don't, you know, I just put
- 2:18:13Speaker 5: put everything on Jack's pretty much and wherever I'm at,
- 2:18:16Speaker 5: either at r OKC. But I do have the petition,
- 2:18:22Speaker 5: and that's the petition that's going to to get the
- 2:18:28Speaker 5: films from November twenty second that were taken by Weggman
- 2:18:34Speaker 5: and Darnell and that NBC has suppressed. So I've been
- 2:18:38Speaker 5: working on this for a long time. Uh, the letter
- 2:18:42Speaker 5: to Luna many years yep. So this is Luna's committee
- 2:18:47Speaker 5: and so I got the letter and that that took me,
- 2:18:52Speaker 5: you know, months to get them to turn the letter
- 2:18:55Speaker 5: over to me, which was requesting the films and the
- 2:18:58Speaker 5: you know everything. They they have an NBC that they're
- 2:19:01Speaker 5: suppressing and holding, and which Caesar, the guy in charge there,
- 2:19:07Speaker 5: says that they lost, so they don't know where they are.
- 2:19:11Speaker 5: But I know for a fact that they have those
- 2:19:13Speaker 5: films because they told me they had them, and they
- 2:19:16Speaker 5: wouldn't let me scan them because they are so important
- 2:19:20Speaker 5: to them, they had to keep them safe. So if
- 2:19:23Speaker 5: you're so important and you're keeping them safe, how the
- 2:19:26Speaker 5: hell do you lose them? It's full of bit And
- 2:19:30Speaker 5: so if you go to openpetition dot org, that's where
- 2:19:34Speaker 5: I've already collected over one thousand signatures, so I know
- 2:19:39Speaker 5: you want to them, yes, Joe Sidon and I saw that,
- 2:19:42Speaker 5: So openpetition dot org. And the petition is draft a
- 2:19:47Speaker 5: more precise request to NBC for the films requested in
- 2:19:51Speaker 5: April of twenty twenty five. And that was the letter
- 2:19:54Speaker 5: that you just put up and sent to NBC. But
- 2:20:01Speaker 5: in the letter that she sent it leaves wiggle room
- 2:20:04Speaker 5: because when you say things like I'm requesting access, well, no,
- 2:20:09Speaker 5: you want the originals. You want the original film sent
- 2:20:12Speaker 5: to you, not access. That could be a copy, that
- 2:20:16Speaker 5: could be something, that could mean something completely different. So
- 2:20:19Speaker 5: we're asking for power from comer, right, right, so the
- 2:20:23Speaker 5: subpoena power would come later. So what we're hoping is
- 2:20:26Speaker 5: that they make a more precise request that is better
- 2:20:30Speaker 5: language used to say specifically, we want the original films
- 2:20:36Speaker 5: from November twenty second, which they have. I mean, I'm
- 2:20:39Speaker 5: the one, I'm the guy who owns Mai Film. I'm
- 2:20:42Speaker 5: the guy who licensed the films. I'm the guy who
- 2:20:45Speaker 5: that they told that. I'm sorry the cars that be
- 2:20:48Speaker 5: won't allow access to them because you know, here, we've
- 2:20:51Speaker 5: got a duplicate, you know, made in nineteen seventy whatever
- 2:20:55Speaker 5: on three quarter inch tape that we use, you know,
- 2:20:57Speaker 5: for licensing purposes. That's good enough for you. I'm like, well,
- 2:21:00Speaker 5: if it's good enough for you, you keep the three
- 2:21:02Speaker 5: quarter inch tape. We'll take the originals. Then if you
- 2:21:06Speaker 5: don't need them, you're.
- 2:21:07Speaker 4: Not doing it.
- 2:21:07Speaker 5: You won't scan them. If they're so important, why once
- 2:21:11Speaker 5: you do a four K scan and save them forever,
- 2:21:13Speaker 5: right that that'd be the smart business thing to do.
- 2:21:17Speaker 5: If you're in charge of NBC Universal News Group and
- 2:21:20Speaker 5: your name's Caesar, you'd think, man, I'm the king, Well
- 2:21:24Speaker 5: you would you would scan those films and keep them
- 2:21:27Speaker 5: for prosperity or or use them for business purposes, you know,
- 2:21:31Speaker 5: have a high resolution scan so people would pay more money.
- 2:21:36Speaker 5: But no, they don't do that, and there's got to
- 2:21:38Speaker 5: be a reason. Like I say, whenever you get down
- 2:21:40Speaker 5: to it, the things that they've suppressed with his alibi,
- 2:21:44Speaker 5: the hosty and the Fritz notes and everything that trickles
- 2:21:47Speaker 5: out that shows that what Oswald was saying was Hey,
- 2:21:50Speaker 5: I was on the first floor. Hey I stepped outside.
- 2:21:53Speaker 5: Hey I was probably caught on camera. Huh. Well, if
- 2:21:56Speaker 5: you're caught on camera, well game over for him being
- 2:22:00Speaker 5: up on the sixth floor or anywhere in the second
- 2:22:02Speaker 5: World month room or any of this garbage that they
- 2:22:04Speaker 5: made up later. So that would pretty much, you know,
- 2:22:08Speaker 5: in their game. So we want to end the games
- 2:22:11Speaker 5: and let's just get the films, let's get them scanned,
- 2:22:14Speaker 5: Let's get them to Narau where they should be because
- 2:22:16Speaker 5: of the JFK Act and everything that you've you've had
- 2:22:19Speaker 5: some of these guys on here are like saying they're
- 2:22:21Speaker 5: playing games down there. They were with the files and
- 2:22:25Speaker 5: the things that are going on. So this is all
- 2:22:27Speaker 5: part of that. This is something I've been working on
- 2:22:29Speaker 5: a long time. So if you go to openpetition, dot Org.
- 2:22:33Speaker 5: I'm leaving the petition open till November twenty third, so
- 2:22:37Speaker 5: everybody can just go there sign the petition and then
- 2:22:40Speaker 5: I'm going to send that to anaslut Luna's office and
- 2:22:43Speaker 5: then if that doesn't work out, then we're going to
- 2:22:46Speaker 5: ask for a subpoena from comer. So we're we're getting
- 2:22:49Speaker 5: to that point that needs to be speed for the
- 2:22:53Speaker 5: films because they're not they're not coping them up there.
- 2:22:58Speaker 5: And this is evidence in a a murder. Okay, this
- 2:23:01Speaker 5: isn't just some assassination thing people got murdered. Yeah, this
- 2:23:09Speaker 5: is an exculpatory evidence and a murder where uh Lee
- 2:23:15Speaker 5: never had a trial, never had a jury, never had
- 2:23:18Speaker 5: a judge sentence him, never had any of this thing.
- 2:23:21Speaker 5: And they continually say he's the guilty man, which is right,
- 2:23:26Speaker 5: that's garbage. You know, he's innocent, always will be in
- 2:23:29Speaker 5: the eyes of the law. You know, until you're convicted
- 2:23:33Speaker 5: and the judge sentences you, you're innocent. I mean Jack
- 2:23:37Speaker 5: Ruby is actually innocent, right because he died before you know, yeah, yeah,
- 2:23:43Speaker 5: the second trial did happen, but he was convicted. He
- 2:23:46Speaker 5: was the jury did come back with a verdict. Uh
- 2:23:48Speaker 5: he did get sentenced by the judge, right it went
- 2:23:51Speaker 5: to appeal. So there's your real murderer. That's that's a
- 2:23:55Speaker 5: real murderer right there. And there's weird stuff about that too.
- 2:24:00Speaker 5: I mean, I mean I should save some of this
- 2:24:02Speaker 5: for later, but yeah, there's weird stuff that happened in
- 2:24:04Speaker 5: the basement. Who was there? Who are friends of Jack's?
- 2:24:08Speaker 6: There's not one part of this case that isn't weird.
- 2:24:13Speaker 5: It comes.
- 2:24:15Speaker 6: Our hands every week.
- 2:24:17Speaker 5: Every week, I blow your mind every day for a
- 2:24:20Speaker 5: week at least. And just what happened in the basement?
- 2:24:24Speaker 5: Who was there? What was going on? Yeah, it's crazy crazy.
- 2:24:28Speaker 5: I will leave you with this if you take a
- 2:24:30Speaker 5: look at just just take a look at the the photo,
- 2:24:34Speaker 5: the famous you know image of Ruby shooting Oswalt, and
- 2:24:42Speaker 5: just take a look at Jim Lavelle's jacket and tell
- 2:24:45Speaker 5: me what's under that jacket. Tell me what you think
- 2:24:49Speaker 5: is it's something under his jacket. What would you put
- 2:24:52Speaker 5: under your jacket if you knew somebody who was going
- 2:24:54Speaker 5: to get shot and you're going to be right there
- 2:24:57Speaker 5: holding the guy a vest to your jacket. I put
- 2:25:03Speaker 5: a bullet, I put a vest under mine, I put
- 2:25:06Speaker 5: I get a brand new suit that was a little
- 2:25:08Speaker 5: bit big, and get a bulletproof vest. They weren't exactly
- 2:25:11Speaker 5: kevlar back then, but they're called you know, they were
- 2:25:15Speaker 5: met out the different titanium and stuff, and they have
- 2:25:17Speaker 5: little pockets in them and that's that's what they use
- 2:25:20Speaker 5: for airmen, to save airman's lives. Went during World War Two,
- 2:25:26Speaker 5: came with these.
- 2:25:28Speaker 4: Better than nothing.
- 2:25:30Speaker 5: Yeah, So if you know something's gonna happen and you
- 2:25:32Speaker 5: know this guy's gonna probably get shot, I'd put on
- 2:25:35Speaker 5: a vest under my brand new suit.
- 2:25:38Speaker 4: Hell yeah, thanks so much. Brother. You killed it as
- 2:25:43Speaker 4: usual And can I wait two un or more episodes
- 2:25:48Speaker 4: to have you back on. So next time you got
- 2:25:50Speaker 4: something going on, shoot me an email and let us
- 2:25:52Speaker 4: know and we'll get you right on the show and
- 2:25:55Speaker 4: talk about it. And uh, hang out with us for
- 2:25:58Speaker 4: one second. We got DNA injuries always comes in and

- 2:26:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:26:29Speaker 4: Do you think she'd make it in a Fox hole head. Yeah,
- 2:26:37Speaker 4: you ain't no man tooth Joe.
- 2:26:42Speaker 9: All right, folks, get back with us next Friday where
- 2:26:45Speaker 9: me and Joe will be doing a show with our
- 2:26:49Speaker 9: own research and we've been working on for a couple
- 2:26:51Speaker 9: of months now about something that happened during a certain
- 2:26:57Speaker 9: around a certain date and.
- 2:27:00Speaker 4: Early nineteen sixty three will say, I don't want to
- 2:27:02Speaker 4: give up.
- 2:27:02Speaker 3: You up the goat?
- 2:27:03Speaker 4: Get how sure you too?
- 2:27:06Speaker 6: In for that?
- 2:27:10Speaker 4: Thanks Ed, thank you people
