  Speaker 1: father always used to tell her, just because you can

  Speaker 1: do something don't mean you should do it. I can't

  Speaker 1: tell you how many times I've had to learn that

  Speaker 1: in my life. You know, just because you can do

  Speaker 1: something does not necessarily mean you should do it. I

  Speaker 1: could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean I

  Speaker 1: should do it. I could go here and set the

  Speaker 1: record straight a lot of times, but it don't mean

  Speaker 1: I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot in

  Speaker 1: that lesson folks, and because I have a relationship with

  Speaker 1: my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me to

  Speaker 1: learn even more how to stay still on a lot

  Speaker 1: of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the hard way.

  Speaker 1: I do want you to understand that that sometimes it's

  Speaker 1: better to be still. Sometimes it's better to just let

  Speaker 1: God handle the situation. Now. I know it's hard to

  Speaker 1: say because we think as people, but if I do this,

  Speaker 1: I would feel better. If I do this now, they'll

  Speaker 1: feel how I feel. See, but that's not always the

  Speaker 1: best way though, I found in my life. Sometimes you

  Speaker 1: gotta like old people used to say, you gotta let

  Speaker 1: go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,

  Speaker 1: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when

  Speaker 1: she was when I was young, I thought she was

  Speaker 1: just an old person just talking to me. I didn't

  Speaker 1: get it. You know how your parents used to talk

  Speaker 1: to you and you didn't get it, and they used

  Speaker 1: to always say, well, wait till you have your own kids,

  Speaker 1: you'll get it then, And sure enough you got it. Then. Well,

  Speaker 1: I'm the same way. I'm no different you know. I

  Speaker 1: don't have no different life than you. You. I don't

  Speaker 1: have no different upbringing in you. I don't have no

  Speaker 1: different ways that I can live and you can't. You know.

  Speaker 1: I got to live by it same laws of the

  Speaker 1: land that you gotta live by. I gotta obey the

  Speaker 1: principles of success. If I want to be successful, I

  Speaker 1: gotta bam. And you know, if I want to go

  Speaker 1: to heaven, I gotta do what God tell me to

  Speaker 1: do as many times as I can. Now, you ain't

  Speaker 1: gonna get it all right. But he understand that and

  Speaker 1: I just get on with the best I can. But

  Speaker 1: so many times, man, we get stuck right there, man,

  Speaker 1: worrying about you know, how it's gonna come across and

  Speaker 1: what you know, you know, kind of going around here

  Speaker 1: because I'm trying to find a way to tell you

  Speaker 1: this that you won't get twisted. The bottom line, you

  Speaker 1: gotta let go and let God. You have to allow

  Speaker 1: him to do it his way. See, I thought myself

  Speaker 1: to a certain point, but to go further, I had

  Speaker 1: to let God have it. I found out I wasn't

  Speaker 1: all that good a driver. I found out I wouldn't

  Speaker 1: I had to let go. I had to let God.

  Speaker 1: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways.

  Speaker 1: How often had I thought it was over for me?

  Speaker 1: But what God was doing was he was teaching me

  Speaker 1: a lesson. He was showing me something that I needed

  Speaker 1: to know. He was allowing me to experience some things.

  Speaker 1: But he didn't let me go under. You know how

  Speaker 1: they say God and never put more on you than
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: you can bear. He won't let you go under. You know,

  Speaker 1: it's like the scripture that Bishop Almah taught me when
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: I was going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man,
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: it was really really man trying to destroy what I
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: had worked for in my family and this new life
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: that God had presented me. And the devil is busy.
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: The devil don't like to see you happy. So here
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: he comes. He puts you under attack, and he comes
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: in and thatt and everything. And my kids are suffering.
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: But you know, here comes God. Though, see God don't
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: put more on you than you can bear. And Bishop
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: Olma sent me a scripture. He sent me Isaiah forty
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: three one and two. And in that scripture it says
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: to the effect that you can walk through the water
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: the rivers, and the water won't overcome you. But then
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: it said you can walk through the fire, and you
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: will will not get burned, nor will kindling set upon
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: your clothing. I learned something very valuable that day. See
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: God sent me through something, but he was showing me
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: something too. Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: that calamity into my life because in Isaiah fifty four
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: seventeen it says clearly that if anyone comes against you,
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: it will not be my doing. Now, this is what
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: he promised you when people come for you, though, see,
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: and this is what I learned. That's why I have

  Speaker 1: no fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.

  Speaker 1: But God had to send me through a traumatic experience

  Speaker 1: in order for me to learn that. You can't have

  Speaker 1: a testimony without a test you know what I'm saying.

  Speaker 1: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he

  Speaker 1: did was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed

  Speaker 1: into my life. But he taught me something. And Isaiah

  Speaker 1: forty three to one and two was and you could

  Speaker 1: walk through the fire and not get burned, nor what
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: kindling set upon your clothing. So what that said to

  Speaker 1: me was, even though you're trying to do me and

  Speaker 1: it's fire all around me, I won't burn, but when

  Speaker 1: it's over, kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that

  Speaker 1: showed me was not only would I walk through the

  Speaker 1: fire and not get burned, but there will be no

  Speaker 1: signs that I was ever in the fire. There's no

  Speaker 1: signs of it. But not hold up though. Now he

  Speaker 1: go to part though that I had to learn even

  Speaker 1: though you can walk through the fire, y'all, And even

  Speaker 1: though you're being flames and scorching all around you. If

  Speaker 1: you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn. But

  Speaker 1: now hear what he did not say. Though, He did

  Speaker 1: not say that it was not going to be uncomfortably hot,

  Speaker 1: wickedly hot in there. He ain't say that. He just

  Speaker 1: said you won't burn, and when it's over, it won't

  Speaker 1: be no signs that you was in the fire. See

  Speaker 1: what happened to me was after they tried to destroy me.

  Speaker 1: Let me show you what God did for me. Not

  Speaker 1: only did they not accomplish what they set out to do,

  Speaker 1: but when they was through with me though, when they

  Speaker 1: was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire and

  Speaker 1: throwing the hate and right hating it in line and

  Speaker 1: creating all these names for themselves so it could look

  Speaker 1: like most people is hating when they got through it

  Speaker 1: all that man, look what he did to me. Look

  Speaker 1: what he did fum me, because he taught me something

  Speaker 1: that day. And I'm sharing it with you because God

  Speaker 1: will do the same thing for you. But you gotta

  Speaker 1: trust him though. You got to get in there and

  Speaker 1: you got to let him do it. You gotta let

  Speaker 1: him handle it. So just like pop Bridge just taught

  Speaker 1: my wife Marjorie. Just because you can do something, don't

  Speaker 1: mean y'all to do something. Yeah, you could go down

  Speaker 1: there and straighten them out, but should you though? Yeah,

  Speaker 1: you can go down there and tell them all. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: you can go down stand up and make sure they

  Speaker 1: know it's your voice, that they hear it, and you

  Speaker 1: can get in their face and make a scene. But

  Speaker 1: should you though, or should you let go and let God?

  Speaker 1: So before we run all out in the streets and

  Speaker 1: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.

  Speaker 1: Now I'm not saying don't go out there, but you

  Speaker 1: gotta watch who you go out there with. But you

  Speaker 1: can go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody

  Speaker 1: decided I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust

  Speaker 1: a window, partner, hold up, that ain't what we're down

  Speaker 1: here doing. So See, sometimes, man, you gotta let go,

  Speaker 1: and you gotta let God. You gotta let God have

  Speaker 1: situations sometimes and you get it in and do the

  Speaker 1: things that he tell you to do. See bisch Boehman

  Speaker 1: and taught me a lot. He had another book out

  Speaker 1: and he said, you know, knowing God's voice or something

  Speaker 1: like that. I'm not sure the title, but I never

  Speaker 1: really knew the definition of how do you know it's
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: God's voice talking to you? Well, he clearly made a statement.
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: God's voice has no sining in it. Whenever you're talking
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: about i'ma go, I'm gonna show him, I'm gonna get

  Speaker 1: him back. If it's sining in it, God ain't in it.

  Speaker 1: See that's you now. God's voice has no sining in it.

  Speaker 1: So when you say God told me, be careful, because

  Speaker 1: God ain't never told you to go do nothing wrong,

  Speaker 1: that ain't what he told you. And I learned that too.

  Speaker 1: It's a lot, so I'm just sharing today. I hope

  Speaker 1: it helps somebody today get through a difficult time because
