- 2:05Speaker 4: headlines coming up. Birthday's porn of birthday here on this
- 2:10Speaker 4: July tenth, it is a world kebab day. Let me
- 2:14Speaker 4: tell it. I don't like doing I don't like making kebabs. No,
- 2:18Speaker 4: let me tell you why, because when you grill them
- 2:21Speaker 4: and they're on the skewre, I don't like. I feel
- 2:24Speaker 4: like it's not getting cooked enough in between, like where
- 2:27Speaker 4: the whether the two chunks of meat touch on the sure,
- 2:31Speaker 4: because that's always the that's always the pink spot. You
- 2:34Speaker 4: don't have the crown together too hard if you don't
- 2:36Speaker 4: want to. But even if I'm saying, if you have,
- 2:38Speaker 4: like say a piece of chicken pepper.
- 2:41Speaker 6: You're not supposed to do that. You're supposed to do
- 2:43Speaker 6: all veggies on one and all chicken on one because
- 2:46Speaker 6: it gets undercooked.
- 2:47Speaker 2: The onions always undercooked.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Into it yeah. National French Friday is to yes, I like,
- 2:55Speaker 4: yeah French Fries. It's don't step on a b Day.
- 2:59Speaker 4: It was just good advice. National Motorcycle Day, Greg, like
- 3:03Speaker 4: that National Pina Colada Day.
- 3:06Speaker 2: That's a vacation drink.
- 3:07Speaker 4: And today's a National Kitten Day.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I gotta tell you I never I never really hated cats.
- 3:16Speaker 4: They weren't my favorite, you know what I mean, But
- 3:17Speaker 4: I never really hated them. And I think as time
- 3:20Speaker 4: has gone on, I have less and less patients for
- 3:23Speaker 4: cats and people who like cats. Why what a cats do?
- 3:26Speaker 7: Do?
- 3:26Speaker 4: You? You know what it is? It's by association because
- 3:30Speaker 4: the people who I find to be I'll find out
- 3:34Speaker 4: someone is like, you know, like you know, coworker or
- 3:37Speaker 4: someone that you do business with or whatever, and they're like, man,
- 3:39Speaker 4: this person sucks and you find out they're a cat person.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Why is it that always the most annoying and you
- 3:46Speaker 4: know people that the most rotten people? Why are they
- 3:48Speaker 4: always cat people? It's a good question I have not
- 3:51Speaker 4: experienced and haven't. And also, cats just suck. I was
- 3:55Speaker 4: just at my dad's for a week and we were
- 3:57Speaker 4: staying there and the cat is you know, it's just
- 4:00Speaker 4: it's cute, you know what I mean. But this thing
- 4:03Speaker 4: he's got, you know, we got new flooring for the house,
- 4:05Speaker 4: but he's got like one area where it's carpeted, and
- 4:08Speaker 4: the cat peed there, and so you have that smell
- 4:11Speaker 4: that cat be out of here. Don't tell me a
- 4:13Speaker 4: nature's miracle or whatever that there is nothing that gets
- 4:16Speaker 4: that out other than taking the carpet out or throwing
- 4:18Speaker 4: the piece of clothing away or whatever. And you always
- 4:21Speaker 4: have it's even if it's like a like a like
- 4:24Speaker 4: a subtle hint of the smell, it's always around. Yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 4: my dad just got a new couch. It peed on
- 4:29Speaker 4: the back of the couch, like the top of the
- 4:31Speaker 4: back of the hell that's pretty rare for cats. I
- 4:33Speaker 4: don't usually hear about them peeing. Well, they like to
- 4:35Speaker 4: mark new stuff. My aunt Chris, you just got like
- 4:39Speaker 4: a new chair, like a new recliner chair. Scratched it up.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Had it for I'll I'll have to have her center picture.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Had it for less than forty eight hours. And this
- 4:48Speaker 4: thing was destroyed because it came downstairs every morning and
- 4:52Speaker 4: would just use its claws on the side of here's
- 4:54Speaker 4: what I about. I'm like, you know, what. I just don't.
- 4:56Speaker 4: I don't see any I don't see any real neat
- 4:58Speaker 4: or purpose for cats.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah. The thing I hate about cat people is when
- 5:02Speaker 2: they try to get you know, the equivalent of a
- 5:05Speaker 2: dog person, where they say, oh, Scout did the funniest
- 5:08Speaker 2: thing last night. He was playing with his toys, and
- 5:10Speaker 2: I'm thinking, Okay, cats don't do anything amusing or funny.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Stop it. And they're very they're very dainty. I would
- 5:17Speaker 2: hate it when their tails kind of go back. They're
- 5:20Speaker 2: so dainty, and all girls I.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Would I wouldn't even say that, like that's what that
- 5:25Speaker 4: that's why it's so it's it's it's such a it's
- 5:28Speaker 4: such a weird line for me, because like, I think
- 5:31Speaker 4: they're cute, right, and I can say that, oh, I've
- 5:34Speaker 4: seen cats do funny things or whatever, and I've seen
- 5:38Speaker 4: cats be very sweet. But I think just overall, the
- 5:41Speaker 4: you know that they're not needed to go outside thing
- 5:44Speaker 4: that's convenient. Yeah, and then dealing with the litter box sucks,
- 5:48Speaker 4: Samuel will tell.
- 5:49Speaker 3: You so hard.
- 5:50Speaker 8: Yeah, that's why I find it interesting that your dad's
- 5:54Speaker 8: cat is peeing all over the place, because cats go
- 5:57Speaker 8: in their litter box and they always want to cover
- 5:59Speaker 8: it up because like, so predators can't.
- 6:00Speaker 4: They mark them.
- 6:01Speaker 9: They do mark they do, especially boys, and it's oh man,
- 6:06Speaker 9: and that smell.
- 6:07Speaker 4: It just reeks. I can't get it out. They're But
- 6:12Speaker 4: then you know, most most of the cats are pretty
- 6:15Speaker 4: anti social, meaning like it's like they don't they don't
- 6:17Speaker 4: care about you the same way that a dog or
- 6:20Speaker 4: even another person.
- 6:21Speaker 6: It's just I think you're right. I don't like the
- 6:23Speaker 6: really anti social ones. It's like, oh, my cat's under
- 6:26Speaker 6: the bed and won't come out until you leave, Like okay,
- 6:29Speaker 6: that I don't get.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Yeah, the fact that like for the most part, they're
- 6:33Speaker 4: kind of up. They're allowed to go up on anything,
- 6:35Speaker 4: including counters because they like tables, tables where people eat,
- 6:39Speaker 4: and they got their their their litter box, paws all
- 6:41Speaker 4: over like and again, it's not their fault. I'm not
- 6:44Speaker 4: holding it against cats, per se. There go with per se,
- 6:49Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Joe Coy pointing that I'm not. I'm not. I'm
- 6:53Speaker 4: not holding it against cats. Again, I think as much
- 6:57Speaker 4: as it is some of those more annoying things that
- 6:59Speaker 4: I just don't want to deal with, it's more about
- 7:02Speaker 4: the people who have like Radiohead fans. Yeah, my problem.
- 7:07Speaker 4: You don't really care about Radiohead or the songs themselves,
- 7:10Speaker 4: just the fans of Radioheads that ruin it. Yeah yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 4: So I just find that the people who are the
- 7:14Speaker 4: most the most annoying and the most like to have cats. Yeah, yea,
- 7:20Speaker 4: the most unappealing. They're cat people.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Why is that?
- 7:23Speaker 6: Well, at least they're not dressing their cats up.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Oh, some people do.
- 7:27Speaker 10: Some people do, and I've seen some walk their cats.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Get them to do that, that's that's the other one.
- 7:33Speaker 4: But why do they want to go outside? Oh?
- 7:35Speaker 11: I was just about to ask, does your boyfriend walk
- 7:38Speaker 11: his cat?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Sammy?
- 7:39Speaker 8: He doesn't walk her, but he does have like a
- 7:42Speaker 8: leash and harness for her, so she can't but he doesn't.
- 7:46Speaker 4: So it's not it's not walking. No, he doesn't walk
- 7:48Speaker 4: her on the block. So what is so what is there?
- 7:51Speaker 4: That's what's what is that tie to the door and
- 7:54Speaker 4: ties it up outside for prayer to come by and
- 7:56Speaker 4: get it or not to come by and get it.
- 7:58Speaker 6: But I guess just be outside, chums. You can't trackside.
- 8:02Speaker 4: It's gonna just run.
- 8:04Speaker 8: Around or get eaten or whatever. Right, And he doesn't
- 8:07Speaker 8: have a yard or anything.
- 8:08Speaker 4: So again, is it the leash is just he just
- 8:10Speaker 4: lets it out there for a couple hours, not a
- 8:13Speaker 4: couple hours. It sounds like it sounds it sounds like
- 8:15Speaker 4: he's taking it for a walk. Yeah, it does sound
- 8:17Speaker 4: like that. I don't bother time for the birthdays.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Its shim.
- 8:30Speaker 3: We don't.
- 8:32Speaker 2: It's and you know we don't.
- 8:35Speaker 4: And we'll start with the celebrities. Happy birthday to Sophia Vigara.
- 8:39Speaker 4: It was Gloria and Modern Family fifty four years old today.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Jessica Simpto Simpson. She was a pop chicken, then all
- 8:47Speaker 4: of a sudden, a billion dollar fashion mobile.
- 8:49Speaker 6: Yeah, he's got the shoes.
- 8:50Speaker 4: It's the same person that was like she thought it
- 8:53Speaker 4: was chicken, Yeah, back in the day. Forty six years old.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Adrian Grenere, who was the most disposable member of Entourage,
- 9:02Speaker 4: even though it was a show about him and a
- 9:05Speaker 4: Vinny Chase on a disposable show, he was the most disposable. Yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 4: Adrian Grenier is fifty years old. Thomas Ian Nicholas Kevin
- 9:12Speaker 4: from American Pie is forty six. He got Isabella Merced
- 9:16Speaker 4: She was the voice of Dora the Explorer and she
- 9:19Speaker 4: was also in the Last of Us.
- 9:21Speaker 10: Yeah, Superman as well.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I wonder how what she made on that network.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Greg Isabella Merced that's a three mill three mil. Okay,
- 9:29Speaker 4: that's not too Yeah, well for a twenty five year old. Yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 4: that's a pretty good start. It's a good night for anybody. Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 4: Fiona Shall who is aunt Petunia? And Harry Potter sixty

- 9:43Speaker 4: then Robert Pine. He was paunching John's boss, Sergeant Joe
- 9:48Speaker 4: on the TV show Chips, which I loved as a kid.
- 9:50Speaker 4: But he's Chris. That's the best part. Yeah, Robert, No,
- 9:54Speaker 4: Chips is the best part.
- 9:55Speaker 6: No, that's when my mom would leave to go places.
- 10:00Speaker 4: We'd say what are you going to be back? And
- 10:01Speaker 4: she'd say.
- 10:01Speaker 6: In one Chips episode, cauds be.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Good until time. Robert Pine eighty five years old today,
- 10:06Speaker 4: and then you got your porno birthday. Who is Shona
- 10:09Speaker 4: River and today's birthday girl. She's done more bouncing than
- 10:12Speaker 4: a low rider on Hydraulics three and eighteen. Fine films,
- 10:16Speaker 4: including worshiping the Birthday Girl's sexy feet, No thanks. She
- 10:21Speaker 4: was in Lesbian Sex and Long Leather Coats. Also horny
- 10:25Speaker 4: for her House Guests Volume one. She was in Bartender
- 10:28Speaker 4: serves something hard. I wonder what that is like? Hard
- 10:31Speaker 4: to alcohol, heart like a good stiff drink. Yeah, she
- 10:35Speaker 4: was in Bush Bleaching Volume one, also fingering while a
- 10:39Speaker 4: couple is watching, and who can forget her unforgetable role
- 10:43Speaker 4: and hungry for anal she's starvin. You know what I
- 10:47Speaker 4: could go for right now? Yeah, that's a Shona River
- 10:49Speaker 4: who's thirty four years old today. And that's your porno
- 10:52Speaker 4: birthday and your celebrity birthdays here on this Friday on
- 10:56Speaker 4: the Woodie Show, A little is shoe into another new hour.
- 11:02Speaker 4: What Greg menace Gina? Yeah, we are the Boody Show.
- 11:06Speaker 4: And speaking of Gina Gratch, she's got the trending news headlines.
- 11:09Speaker 4: That's right.
- 11:10Speaker 6: The quarterfinals are underway in the World Cup and yesterday
- 11:13Speaker 6: France eliminated Morocco to be the first team into the
- 11:16Speaker 6: final four. Today Spain plays Belgium. Tomorrow there are two
- 11:20Speaker 6: games Norway versus England and Argentina versus Switzerland. Also tomorrow,
- 11:25Speaker 6: Connor McGregor makes his UFC return after five years. He'll
- 11:28Speaker 6: be fighting Max Holloway for the second time. Connor won
- 11:31Speaker 6: their first fight back in twenty thirteen. Oh and also
- 11:34Speaker 6: on the UFC three twenty nine card Corey Sandhagen versus
- 11:37Speaker 6: Mario Batista and Patty Pimblet versus Benoi Saint Denis Nice. Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 6: BSD much easier to say. Well, new details have come
- 11:47Speaker 6: out about the deadly ICE shooting in Houston, So now
- 11:50Speaker 6: the FEDS are saying the guy who was killed may
- 11:52Speaker 6: not have actually been the person agents were looking for,
- 11:55Speaker 6: but they.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Really look like the target.
- 11:57Speaker 6: I says this thirty nine yearld guy, Lorenz Selgato Arahu.
- 12:01Speaker 6: He refused commands and drove toward an officer who then
- 12:04Speaker 6: shot him in what they call self defense. His family's
- 12:07Speaker 6: calling BS and says he had no criminal record and
- 12:09Speaker 6: was simply on his way to pick up some workers.
- 12:11Speaker 6: And they say they still haven't been contacted by ICE
- 12:14Speaker 6: and only found out that he died after seeing photos
- 12:16Speaker 6: on social media. And officials also confirmed that ICE agents
- 12:20Speaker 6: didn't have body.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Cameras because they hadn't been issued them yet. So that's
- 12:24Speaker 4: I thought everybody had body cams.
- 12:26Speaker 11: All. You can get him on TIMU for like five bucks.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Even the cart narks have body got to protect the
- 12:32Speaker 4: ICE one exactly well.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Jurors in the Charlie Kirk murder case heard new evidence
- 12:37Speaker 6: yesterday when prosecutors played part of an interview with the
- 12:40Speaker 6: alleged shooter's former roommate and boyfriend. That guy told investigators
- 12:45Speaker 6: the shooter had admitted to shooting Kirk and then said
- 12:48Speaker 6: he regretted it, and the roommate also said that the
- 12:50Speaker 6: dude had asked to borrow a tool to engrave some
- 12:53Speaker 6: bullets before the attack, and those matched the engraving the
- 12:56Speaker 6: engraved shell casings.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He was like borrowing like a cup of sugar. Yeah, Hey,
- 13:00Speaker 2: do you have any of the bullet engravings? Yeah? People
- 13:04Speaker 2: just have that like later aud right, and also like
- 13:06Speaker 2: bullet engraver.
- 13:07Speaker 6: You have to be damn sure that you want everyone
- 13:09Speaker 6: to know it was youse, Like what are your initials
- 13:12Speaker 6: on it.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It's one of those things that seems like a good
- 13:14Speaker 2: idea in the moment, and then the second he did it,
- 13:17Speaker 2: like you said, I shouldn't have done that.
- 13:19Speaker 4: It's one thing, Tugget. It's porn and having that guilt afterwards.
- 13:22Speaker 4: It's that thing where you're like, you know what, I'm
- 13:24Speaker 4: gonna kill somebody. It's going to be a great.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Idea and I'll leave my calling card, but.
- 13:27Speaker 4: I mean super gating grave right, yeah, totally.
- 13:30Speaker 6: Well he did ask his when.
- 13:32Speaker 4: People have embroidered towels in a robe, like.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Don't do it yourself? Take it to things? Remember, what
- 13:40Speaker 2: do you?
- 13:41Speaker 4: What do you think about that? Greg? When people have
- 13:42Speaker 4: like monogrammed towels towels, is that gay?
- 13:45Speaker 2: No? I'm not gay.
- 13:46Speaker 4: I'm saying is it tacky? I think it's tacky.
- 13:48Speaker 2: But it depends what it says, like if it's the initial,
- 13:51Speaker 2: like if you had one.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Like W and J, I think it would be like,
- 13:57Speaker 4: isn't hers?
- 13:59Speaker 2: I don't. This is so biased of me. I don't
- 14:02Speaker 2: like his and hers? But at home we have these
- 14:04Speaker 2: two candles that say his and his, OK, and I
- 14:07Speaker 2: like that. It's what's the difference, nothing, That's what makes
- 14:10Speaker 2: it fun. So like what we should have it's two
- 14:14Speaker 2: towels and it says his and his, and then it's
- 14:16Speaker 2: just fun.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it is fine and hilarious. It is a little
- 14:19Speaker 4: more fun. I'm kind of surprised that you think the
- 14:21Speaker 4: monogram towels are.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I think it's not. I think it's slightly upscale.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Yeah, really, what's talking about it? When it's that big
- 14:28Speaker 6: giant initial in the middle, and you know what it is.
- 14:31Speaker 4: It's it's like fake fancy. I think it's I think
- 14:33Speaker 4: people who do that have those trying to look fancy.
- 14:37Speaker 11: Well, I think what we're talking about is venue. I
- 14:40Speaker 11: don't think located. Are they located in like a mansion
- 14:44Speaker 11: are located in.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I think you're right context. There's a documentary called The
- 14:49Speaker 2: Billion Dollar Hotel, and I can't remember where it is,
- 14:52Speaker 2: but they have these rooms where if you're the guest
- 14:55Speaker 2: and I walk in and I'm Greg, they take the
- 14:57Speaker 2: pillow shams and have an embroidered G on it rules
- 15:01Speaker 2: and they change it for every guest. I'm like, that's
- 15:03Speaker 2: pretty pretty upscale.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Yeah, they're really paying attention.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I like it.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Yeah, that's all right. I think the ones at home, though,
- 15:10Speaker 4: the embroidered towels at home, I mean, it.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Does remind me of like eighties moms.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Really, it's like trying to show that you're you know,
- 15:18Speaker 4: I don't know. It just seems like it's like it's
- 15:21Speaker 4: part of the costume of like you're trying to look fancy.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I have one set of towels that just has a
- 15:25Speaker 2: G on it, and I like it. It looks good.
- 15:29Speaker 2: That explains why you have one. Well, it was a gift,
- 15:32Speaker 2: to be fair, but I think it looks good. What
- 15:34Speaker 2: I do find tacky in the bathroom is those rugs
- 15:36Speaker 2: that go up against the toilet. They're shaped to the toilet.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I see him sometimes you do.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I haven't seen one of those forever.
- 15:44Speaker 6: That's the same bathroom that has the dish with the
- 15:46Speaker 6: decorative soaps that you're not allowed to touch.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Well, my grandma had a grandma had the little rug
- 15:51Speaker 4: that went along the bottom, but it also had one
- 15:53Speaker 4: that went over the top of the toilet.
- 15:57Speaker 11: How about just a straight up carpeted bathroom.
- 16:00Speaker 6: Nobody does that old Well, metaglasses have been getting a
- 16:04Speaker 6: bad rep because of creepy people recording without consent.
- 16:07Speaker 4: So and we talked about this.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Whenever you record, it has a little blinking light which
- 16:11Speaker 6: lets people know you're recording, and metaglasses owners are hacking them.
- 16:15Speaker 6: SeaBus even told us there's little like circle things you
- 16:17Speaker 6: could put over it so people can't see the blinking line.
- 16:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 11: There's even people on like social media that have services like, oh,
- 16:22Speaker 11: meet up in a parking lot and we'll disabled the
- 16:24Speaker 11: yeah light.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Oh, really guess what they're doing now I saw this.
- 16:28Speaker 6: They're going to be in trouble because Meta's pissed about
- 16:30Speaker 6: it and says they updated their glasses software to detect
- 16:33Speaker 6: whether the light has been messed with, and they're banning
- 16:36Speaker 6: accounts and even taking legal action against people or businesses
- 16:39Speaker 6: that are messing with the light.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I mean, I say good.
- 16:42Speaker 11: I'm like, what kind of creep meets up with another
- 16:44Speaker 11: dude in a parking lot so they can disable the light.
- 16:47Speaker 4: It's a good point on your glasses. Feel free to
- 16:51Speaker 4: profile that guy. What are you doing?
- 16:52Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good point. Well, speaking of Meta, they're
- 16:55Speaker 6: being sued for one and a half trillion dollars by
- 16:59Speaker 6: twenty nine states for fueling the teen mental health crisis,
- 17:02Speaker 6: and the lawsuit accuses Meta, you know, major violations of
- 17:05Speaker 6: the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Plus, they say Facebook
- 17:09Speaker 6: and Instagram were designed to be addictive to kids and
- 17:11Speaker 6: has led to self harm and suicide.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Designed to be addicted to everybody, everybody. Yeah, so whoever's
- 17:16Speaker 4: looking at it to adult, whoever they spend more time
- 17:19Speaker 4: with it. That's how business works. Well, I think you
- 17:21Speaker 4: want them to come there.
- 17:22Speaker 11: More, but every company under the Sun wants you to
- 17:25Speaker 11: be addicted to that company. We want you to be
- 17:28Speaker 11: addicted to listening to the what he should be like
- 17:30Speaker 11: a part of the fabric of your life.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Well Meta denies this and they're going to meet in
- 17:34Speaker 6: court in August and listen up Nerds. Jeopardy is hiring
- 17:39Speaker 6: a new clue writer for the TV show. The job
- 17:43Speaker 6: description says the ideal candidate should demonstrate wit and clarity,
- 17:47Speaker 6: and must also be able to pass the show's infamous
- 17:50Speaker 6: contestant quiz, where topics are everything from US geography to
- 17:53Speaker 6: opera science, superhero psychic everything.
- 17:59Speaker 8: The good one what it's gott to finish your words?
- 18:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:01Speaker 4: Huh what I say? Nothing? I don't know. Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 6: The good news is if you pass all of this,
- 18:07Speaker 6: you can earn around one hundred and fifty thousand dollars,
- 18:10Speaker 6: So get on it.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I think that'd be a fun but really difficult job.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's way more pop culture now, so the
- 18:16Speaker 6: chin is nerdy as it used to.
- 18:17Speaker 2: One of the chances when you hear a song, for example,
- 18:20Speaker 2: and then there's a lawsuit like, oh that sounds too
- 18:22Speaker 2: much like this song. It could be a coincidence. If
- 18:25Speaker 2: I was a clue writer there, I would think, oh,
- 18:26Speaker 2: this is a great Jeopardy question that was done in.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Ninety Actually, if you go back to the record on
- 18:32Speaker 4: the we're going to.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Have an infinite number of clues.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Yeah, have a database though.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I'm sure they do.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it would still be stressful.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Stressful.
- 18:41Speaker 6: And finally, let's talk a little National French Fried Day,
- 18:44Speaker 6: shall we? Plenty of deals for fry lovers, but Greg
- 18:47Speaker 6: and what You're going to hate this because most of
- 18:49Speaker 6: the deals require you to use the There we go,
- 18:53Speaker 6: like get a Chick fil A. If you're a Chick
- 18:56Speaker 6: fil A one member, you can get a free medium
- 18:58Speaker 6: sized waffle fries by playing the chain's new spot the
- 19:01Speaker 6: Cow game in the app.
- 19:02Speaker 4: See the app. You got to play the game.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Let's jump through a bunch of hoops to get a
- 19:07Speaker 2: couple of potatoes.
- 19:09Speaker 4: McDonald is a portion of potato slices of one potato
- 19:16Speaker 4: of half a potato.
- 19:17Speaker 6: They're offering rewards members free medium fries when you buy
- 19:20Speaker 6: something else on McDonald's app. Wendy's Rewards members can log
- 19:24Speaker 6: into their app and make a minimum purchase of five
- 19:26Speaker 6: bucks to get free fries. And what a Burger there's
- 19:29Speaker 6: no purchase necessary, but you you don't have to be
- 19:32Speaker 6: a rewards member.
- 19:33Speaker 2: This is what the feeling I get when I go
- 19:35Speaker 2: out of town and then I have to pick something
- 19:36Speaker 2: up at the grocery store and it's a grocery store
- 19:39Speaker 2: I don't live near because I'm out of town. Oh
- 19:41Speaker 2: you're a rewards member. No, come on, just get the rewards.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Yeah, they can do that sometimes.
- 19:45Speaker 4: I was just at a grocery store out of town
- 19:49Speaker 4: and I went to self checkout. Just had a couple
- 19:51Speaker 4: of things. What did the self checkout? Couldn't even use
- 19:53Speaker 4: the self checkout unless I had the store card good card?
- 19:56Speaker 4: Yeah what Yeah, you had to like scan or enter
- 19:58Speaker 4: your shoppers card just to be able to use the
- 20:01Speaker 4: self checkout.
- 20:02Speaker 6: So you have to be like a member of the store.
- 20:04Speaker 4: So the chick came over. I'm thinking, Man, she's getting
- 20:06Speaker 4: tons of fuel rewards because whenever she does that for somebody. Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 4: I don't care. I'm just trying to get the hell
- 20:13Speaker 4: out of here. You couldn't even use the self checkout
- 20:15Speaker 4: without entering your Shoppers car.
- 20:17Speaker 11: Maybe they're trying to curb shoplifting or something. But somebody
- 20:21Speaker 11: can just make their own account.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I think if I had my own store, I would
- 20:25Speaker 2: make it as difficult as possible to buy stuff to
- 20:27Speaker 2: get people. I would like to purchase this. No, no,
- 20:30Speaker 2: I don't want you to.
- 20:32Speaker 4: If you've gone to a have you gone to a
- 20:34Speaker 4: store where you get to the register, like a brick
- 20:36Speaker 4: and mortar retailer, You get to the register and they go,
- 20:39Speaker 4: can we get your phone number? And like you go no, no,
- 20:42Speaker 4: thank you. They go, well, I can't wait. So I'm
- 20:44Speaker 4: standing in your store with some merchandise to purchase. You
- 20:46Speaker 4: can't sell this to me without me giving you the
- 20:49Speaker 4: phone number. Forget it.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Okay, It's like.
- 20:53Speaker 4: I'm at that point. It's on principle, just nah, forget it.
- 20:59Speaker 4: I'm standing in front of you here, I am. You're
- 21:01Speaker 4: just trying to use this so you can sell it
- 21:02Speaker 4: market whatever. I don't want any of that. I just
- 21:04Speaker 4: want to purchase this right now.
- 21:06Speaker 2: The shirt right The concept of is that Palmers is
- 21:09Speaker 2: not brand new, Yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Exactly, And they're like, I don't care.
- 21:12Speaker 6: My name is not on the on the door, so
- 21:14Speaker 6: nobody wins. Well that's what's going on.
- 21:16Speaker 4: With Thank you very much, Gina gran We're talking about
- 21:25Speaker 4: embroidered towels. I know if you're starting and you're like, wow,
- 21:27Speaker 4: sounds like a really missed out, missed out in a
- 21:30Speaker 4: really cool conversation. Yeah, well, it sounds like I don't
- 21:34Speaker 4: remember why I came up down?
- 21:37Speaker 2: How did it come up?
- 21:37Speaker 10: Oh my god, we're talking.
- 21:40Speaker 2: To show original trademark copy right, Why did we even
- 21:42Speaker 2: talk about that in the first place.
- 21:43Speaker 11: I have it because we're talking about the Charlie Kirk shooting.
- 21:47Speaker 11: And I said that it was gay in on the bullets.
- 21:55Speaker 4: He asked to borrow a tool to engrave messages on
- 21:58Speaker 4: the on your shell casings. Yeah, okay. Then I hit
- 22:02Speaker 4: the tangent. I said, I wanted to get Greg's take
- 22:05Speaker 4: on because I thought Greg for sure is going to
- 22:06Speaker 4: say it's tacky. It turns out he's he's in favor
- 22:10Speaker 4: of I like it when you have your your initials
- 22:14Speaker 4: or like the last initial of the family name on
- 22:16Speaker 4: like towels.
- 22:17Speaker 2: And it would have to be a like a nice, clean,
- 22:20Speaker 2: sleek towel. Can't be one with like a lot of designs. Yeah, exactly,
- 22:24Speaker 2: not like the Gramma kind, something sleek, like a plain
- 22:27Speaker 2: white hotel type towel.
- 22:29Speaker 11: And then I argued, it's just about venue. If it's
- 22:32Speaker 11: like in a mansion, awesome. If it's in a trailer,
- 22:34Speaker 11: then kind of tacky.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Agree, because I kind of read it as it's someone
- 22:39Speaker 4: trying to look fancy. You know, I don't think it
- 22:42Speaker 4: is fancy. I think it's what people think is fancy.
- 22:44Speaker 4: You know how there's I'm trying to think of another example,
- 22:47Speaker 4: but like there are things that people do or things
- 22:50Speaker 4: that people get because I think it looks fancy. Golts right,
- 22:56Speaker 4: I think that.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Is a what's wrong about striving to look fancy? Nothing?
- 23:00Speaker 2: Nothing's wrong with that. No, I don't know. It's like,
- 23:03Speaker 2: you have a modest house, but how can I fancy
- 23:05Speaker 2: it up? How about a broader towel?
- 23:07Speaker 4: No, look nice, but you're trying you know what I
- 23:11Speaker 4: need to get an MRI. I my brain. I've had
- 23:15Speaker 4: the hardest time recently, like finding the proper words. I
- 23:23Speaker 4: can't find the proper words. I like, I know, I
- 23:26Speaker 4: know what I'm trying to say, and when I'm saying it,
- 23:29Speaker 4: it's like, no, that's not coming out right. I feel you,
- 23:31Speaker 4: bro dude. Daily. My grandma used to warn me about this.
- 23:36Speaker 4: She would say, your brain's gonna turn to sawdust. Like
- 23:40Speaker 4: later in the day.
- 23:41Speaker 11: Later in the day like, oh, I'm better later later
- 23:44Speaker 11: in the day, it's fine, But in the morning, no, Man,
- 23:47Speaker 11: weird because it's not that I have like.
- 23:50Speaker 4: I'm having a hard time articulating my thought. It's like
- 23:54Speaker 4: when people do. We had a we had a friend
- 23:56Speaker 4: who ended up having a stroke. It's called locked in syndrome.
- 23:59Speaker 12: What.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Yeah, So our friend Sean, he had a stroke and
- 24:04Speaker 4: he had locked in syndrome, meaning he was completely aware
- 24:08Speaker 4: everything that was happening. Nah, but couldn't move anything, want
- 24:13Speaker 4: to move nothing.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Except his eyes and that was it.
- 24:15Speaker 4: That was it, And so he had to communicate by
- 24:17Speaker 4: moving his eyes.
- 24:18Speaker 2: It was pretty bad.
- 24:20Speaker 4: That's so, like, that's got to be. That's the worst.
- 24:23Speaker 4: That's that's that's the worst. Although take what do you take?
- 24:28Speaker 4: What's the isn't there like a supplement or something you
- 24:30Speaker 4: can use to supposed to shoot something like that?
- 24:33Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, I actually looked into that because there's ones
- 24:41Speaker 13: that they advertise, Oh I have the brain of I
- 24:45Speaker 13: don't know, a memory of an elephant or something like
- 24:47Speaker 13: crazy tagline like that, But none of it.
- 24:50Speaker 11: It's like been solid, solid, solid, you guys improve it.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I bought it.
- 25:00Speaker 11: I'm using it right, now obviously it doesn't work, not.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Exactly A good spokesperson for that. Yeah, so you know,
- 25:07Speaker 4: rich people, they got it good, but you know, not
- 25:09Speaker 4: everything they do is super expensive. I have a listener
- 25:12Speaker 4: based on the little conversation we're having about the embroidered
- 25:14Speaker 4: tests o other things like that. So it's a list
- 25:18Speaker 4: of some rich people things that regular folk not rich,
- 25:21Speaker 4: say they have found are cheaper than they thought. Okay, okay,
- 25:25Speaker 4: like tailoring your clothes, you know, yeah, yeah, like that's
- 25:29Speaker 4: oh you you're getting your clothes tailored? Oh that you
- 25:32Speaker 4: must be super rich. That does sound very expensive.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I think you feel like if you get pants taken.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Up or something like that. Right, Like you buy a
- 25:37Speaker 4: pair of jeans, they don't quite they're a little bit
- 25:39Speaker 4: long on you. But most people go ah whatever, and
- 25:41Speaker 4: they let the backs of them just drag across the
- 25:44Speaker 4: dirt and they get all tatted up, you know. But
- 25:46Speaker 4: the other people will go no, and they take it
- 25:47Speaker 4: down to the local place, the dry cleaner, whoever does
- 25:50Speaker 4: the alterations. They go, you know what, that's not nearly
- 25:52Speaker 4: as expensive as I thought it was. And now these
- 25:54Speaker 4: geens fit perfect. Yeah I have to do that.
- 25:56Speaker 8: I don't really have an option, and it's like eighteen
- 25:58Speaker 8: dollars to get them hemmed.
- 26:00Speaker 2: But you know it is a fortune dry cleaning. My god,
- 26:03Speaker 2: you might as well just buy a new wardrobe.
- 26:06Speaker 4: So list of rich people. Things that regular folks say
- 26:08Speaker 4: they found are actually cheaper than they thought. Okay, so
- 26:12Speaker 4: not that it's cheap cheap, it's just cheaper than they thought.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, art exhibits. Would never know, never got any exhibits,
- 26:19Speaker 2: all right, cheap to go.
- 26:20Speaker 4: To those what do they call the Ferrara cher chocolate?
- 26:23Speaker 6: Oh yeah, ferrarochet, yeah, gold foil.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah, people thought those are I always think of those
- 26:29Speaker 2: as drug store Yeah they are.
- 26:30Speaker 6: In fact, I remember hearing at like a little expos
- 26:33Speaker 6: on it, and they wanted to create something that looked
- 26:35Speaker 6: fancy for people that couldn't afford fancy stuff.
- 26:38Speaker 4: And I think they did a great job. It worked. Ferrero,
- 26:42Speaker 4: they're so good, so good good wine.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have to spend a fortune on that.
- 26:48Speaker 4: But even the people who like wine don't really know
- 26:51Speaker 4: what the hell they're talking. Absolutely disproven.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I told you about that friend who would have dinner parties,
- 26:57Speaker 2: bring a bottle minimum fifty dollars, and I would go
- 26:59Speaker 2: to some cheap ass store get a three dollars bottle and.
- 27:03Speaker 4: They have no idea.
- 27:03Speaker 2: This is incredible. Where did you get it? And then
- 27:07Speaker 2: this is the line you always go with, I got
- 27:09Speaker 2: it from my own collection. Oh it's vague enough that
- 27:14Speaker 2: I don't remember where I got it. Collection.
- 27:18Speaker 4: So rich people things quote unquote that regular folk not
- 27:21Speaker 4: rich say they found are cheaper than they thought. Hiring
- 27:24Speaker 4: a monthly house cleaner. I once a month, I have
- 27:27Speaker 4: somebody come through and do like a deep cleaning or
- 27:30Speaker 4: whatever of your bathrooms and those other things that you
- 27:32Speaker 4: just don't want to do. You keep up with, like
- 27:34Speaker 4: maybe the dusting or some light vacuuming and things in between.
- 27:37Speaker 4: But when it comes to like the scrubbing and stuff.
- 27:41Speaker 6: To shower, I'm about to pull the trigger.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I almost did, and then I said, no, what am
- 27:45Speaker 2: I I'm not Oprah the thing?
- 27:47Speaker 4: There are so many people out there that do this.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Or my aunt Chrissy. I wonder what she charges Crissy
- 27:53Speaker 4: to come to my house. I wonder what she charges,
- 27:55Speaker 4: and she does a great job. Yeah, I don't think
- 27:57Speaker 4: it's I don't think it's a lot at all.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Really, Yeah, uh, I did it once in my life.
- 28:02Speaker 4: What she charges like you have to do some shopping
- 28:04Speaker 4: around like anything else.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought it'd be like five hundred bucks.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Five hundred bucks. No, that's what I know.
- 28:11Speaker 2: No, because I hired somebody when I moved out of
- 28:13Speaker 2: an apartment and it was I want my deposit back,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I want it to look perfect. This woman was incredible.
- 28:20Speaker 2: She was standing on the bathroom counters cleaning the tops
- 28:23Speaker 2: of the light bulbs.
- 28:23Speaker 14: Oh my god.
- 28:24Speaker 4: But see that's not even the one month thing that
- 28:26Speaker 4: we're talking about. We're talking about to somebody who comes in, right, Yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 4: you keep up like once a month. That's good.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Okay, I love that.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Playing never did it.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Playing tennis made the list rich people. Things that regular
- 28:37Speaker 4: folks found are cheaper than they thought. I don't know
- 28:39Speaker 4: how much he thought tennis is going to be. There's
- 28:41Speaker 4: public courts everything. Oh here's what I could speak to.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Giving out full candy bars on Halloween. You want to go. Yeah,
- 28:48Speaker 4: that was always the dream. But that was always he
- 28:50Speaker 4: I don't.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Know if that's true anymore.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Well, because you just go to Costco, you go to
- 28:54Speaker 4: Sam's Club. That's where I go. I'll go to Costco
- 28:57Speaker 4: and I'll get the They always have a big old
- 28:59Speaker 4: palad of them as a multi pack of the you
- 29:02Speaker 4: know Hershey Bars, Recent Peanut butter Cups, Snickers kit Cat
- 29:07Speaker 4: and the M and M's Peanut and regular huh and
- 29:11Speaker 4: the variety thing. There's like thirty full sized bars in
- 29:14Speaker 4: one box. The box is like twenty bucks right now.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Can you go cheaper? You can? But if it's your
- 29:22Speaker 4: dream to be the full sized candy bar house, as
- 29:24Speaker 4: it was mine, I'm like, someday, yeah, I'm gonna do that.
- 29:27Speaker 4: What success looks like. And I don't even care about
- 29:29Speaker 4: anybody else's kids. It was for me. I wanted to
- 29:32Speaker 4: be the full sized candy bar house, Like how Menace
- 29:34Speaker 4: wanted to have the kitchen aid stand mixer. Yeah he
- 29:37Speaker 4: doesn't bake. Yeah, I've never used it.
- 29:40Speaker 2: To look at it.
- 29:41Speaker 4: Yeah, he's like, you know what, someday I'm going to
- 29:43Speaker 4: have that.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Yeah I get it.
- 29:45Speaker 4: Yeah, a nice leather belt.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 29:49Speaker 4: Greg, this is something that you need TSA pre check.
- 29:53Speaker 14: I mean.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Five years, it's like eighty bucks. You might even have
- 30:01Speaker 4: something you might do you have like a do you
- 30:04Speaker 4: have an American Express card?
- 30:05Speaker 2: I don't, okay, And I will tell you this from
- 30:08Speaker 2: the bottom of my heart. It's not that it's eighty bucks.
- 30:10Speaker 2: It could be two hundred bucks. I would do it
- 30:12Speaker 2: if I traveled more. I don't need.
- 30:14Speaker 4: But you travel enough. You travel against your will.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the only time I travel. But you end
- 30:19Speaker 2: up traveling enough under duress. You know, I will never
- 30:22Speaker 2: fly again unless I have to ever, But.
- 30:25Speaker 4: You end up traveling enough that in the next five years,
- 30:29Speaker 4: you're gonna be traveling enough.
- 30:30Speaker 2: All I'm thinking about is the last time we flew together, well,
- 30:33Speaker 2: not the most recent time, the time before that. I
- 30:36Speaker 2: was through security long before you and you have pre
- 30:40Speaker 2: check and whatever.
- 30:41Speaker 4: I had all this equipment in my bag and I
- 30:45Speaker 4: don't know what they thought it was. It was audio
- 30:48Speaker 4: equipment because we were doing the show on the road.
- 30:49Speaker 6: And every time I go to an airport with you,
- 30:51Speaker 6: they basically end up strip searching you.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you specifically. But this last time that we traveled together, Greg, Yeah,
- 30:57Speaker 4: I flew where I saw you in the line, and
- 30:59Speaker 4: I flew right but I was like, I was gone.
- 31:02Speaker 4: I was down at the the relax my back massage place.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Ye face down in the massage chair, and Greg's like
- 31:09Speaker 4: still taking his shoes off.
- 31:10Speaker 2: That I'm saying that I was at the bar.
- 31:12Speaker 11: You're not going to ever do like international travel, but
- 31:15Speaker 11: do that Global Entry was so awesome on the Lake
- 31:18Speaker 11: of Mexico, that dude, the long ass customs line versus
- 31:23Speaker 11: the Global Entry just walked right through.
- 31:25Speaker 6: I can test to say that not having Global Entry
- 31:27Speaker 6: was the longest day of my life really in customs.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, and then uh and then Gray Poupon. Remember
- 31:32Speaker 4: the commercials. Yeah, that's another example of what you were
- 31:37Speaker 4: talking about with the chocolates. Yeah, where they just trying
- 31:40Speaker 4: to make it. Yeah, they wanted to make it premium.
- 31:43Speaker 4: They wanted to make it totally.
- 31:44Speaker 6: You know what the other one was, if anyone remembers
- 31:46Speaker 6: it from the eighties and nineties, the Venetta ice cream.
- 31:50Speaker 6: Remember the flakes in the middle.
- 31:52Speaker 4: It looked like yes, oh yeah, and.
- 31:54Speaker 6: That was supposed to be the height of fanciness.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Wait a minute, is that wait? Was it the ice cream?
- 31:59Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, with the chocolate like briars, yeah, like bright Yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 4: it was.
- 32:05Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 6: Vanta and because everyone had like gown gloves and they
- 32:09Speaker 6: deserved it.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:11Speaker 2: High school the same category you'll play I thought was fancy.
- 32:15Speaker 11: Yeah, or in high school the golds Schlogger because gold
- 32:18Speaker 11: flakes in.
- 32:19Speaker 4: It sell that.
- 32:22Speaker 2: If you ever think advertising doesn't work, oh, think about Vaneta.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Yeah, Gray Poupon eight seven seven forty four. Would he
- 32:29Speaker 4: set us a text over to two to nine eighty
- 32:31Speaker 4: seventy have anything you want to add to the list
- 32:33Speaker 4: these uh rich people things quote unquote that regular folks
- 32:36Speaker 4: have found are actually cheaper than they thought. Like, yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 4: you know what that wasn't a billion bucks?
- 32:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:40Speaker 4: Pretty cool?
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I would put hot tubs on that list. You would, yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 2: because I mean you could even go on Facebook marketplace.
- 32:47Speaker 2: People are hot giving them away.
- 32:50Speaker 11: Because when I go to the fair and they have
- 32:52Speaker 11: them all set up in the middle.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Well those are big. But once people have them and
- 32:55Speaker 2: they don't want them, they'll sell them for pennies on
- 32:57Speaker 2: the dolls.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Did they work?
- 32:58Speaker 2: Yeah they do.
- 32:59Speaker 6: They're having a hot time.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I'm still kind of in the market. Yeah, I'm checking
- 33:04Speaker 2: them out. A lot of hot tub A lot of
- 33:05Speaker 2: people want to give them away.
- 33:07Speaker 4: He'll get a hot tub, but he won't save himself
- 33:09Speaker 4: a little bit of time with the once a month
- 33:11Speaker 4: having somebody coming clean.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Even I even booked it about a week pre check
- 33:14Speaker 2: and then cancel it. Yeah, I'm like what am I doing?
- 33:18Speaker 3: What?
- 33:18Speaker 6: Am I Rockefeller?
- 33:19Speaker 11: I just loved up on on our friends at air Tasker,
- 33:22Speaker 11: and you can just like pretty much just set your
- 33:24Speaker 11: budget on like what you want for a house cleaner?
- 33:26Speaker 4: Really? Yeah, you tell them like what you're willing.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Your favorite question, how much do you want to pay?
- 33:31Speaker 4: That's a question he was talking about, like going to
- 33:33Speaker 4: the car dealership.
- 33:35Speaker 2: What do you want to pay?
- 33:35Speaker 4: I want to pay nothing.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I would love to pay you zero.
- 33:38Speaker 4: I would love to be the million customer and get
- 33:40Speaker 4: a free car or.
- 33:42Speaker 2: The other one. What are you comfortable paying? I'm not
- 33:45Speaker 2: comfortable spending a dollar.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, anything you think that
- 33:50Speaker 4: we should add the list to this up on the
- 33:52Speaker 4: text over to two to nine eight seven, be right back,
- 33:57Speaker 4: be right back. We are heavy metal band.
- 34:01Speaker 6: I mean everybody knows that.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Wait wait, hold on, wait, wait where am I? The
- 34:07Speaker 4: woody shot? While cops in Canada, they were called to
- 34:13Speaker 4: this accident on a lake involving a kayak. They were
- 34:16Speaker 4: told that a drunken man had stolen someone's kayak and
- 34:19Speaker 4: was on the water with it. Grand theft kayak, paddling
- 34:22Speaker 4: around with a snowshovel. Oh love it? So they headed
- 34:27Speaker 4: out to the work kayak obviously pretty easy to find
- 34:31Speaker 4: because it was capsized right in the middle of the lake.
- 34:33Speaker 4: The man who stole it, he was struggling in the
- 34:36Speaker 4: water because he was too drunk to swim. The shore
- 34:40Speaker 4: police were able to pull out the sixty three year
- 34:43Speaker 4: old dude from the water. They arrested him and he's
- 34:45Speaker 4: been charged with impaired operation of a vessel.
- 34:49Speaker 2: About you charged him with stealing the kayak? Con you
- 34:53Speaker 2: can't even drink in kayak?
- 34:55Speaker 6: Yeah, what's his world coming too?
- 34:56Speaker 4: That's why kayaks, I understand right here. Stand why no
- 35:02Speaker 4: drinking and operating like a motorized boat. But it's a kayak.
- 35:08Speaker 4: What are you going to do aggressively paddle into another boat? Victims? Yeah,
- 35:14Speaker 4: if you happen to capsize and you drown because you
- 35:17Speaker 4: went out there drunk or drinking or whatever, that's that's
- 35:21Speaker 4: your problem.
- 35:22Speaker 2: You know, Like where can you be drunk? People nowhere?
- 35:29Speaker 2: Like certain certain things. Yeah, definitely bust them for stealing
- 35:32Speaker 2: a kayak.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're drunk on a bicycle, who cares? Not
- 35:37Speaker 4: a motorized bike, not like these bikes, not not those
- 35:40Speaker 4: on a regular bike.
- 35:41Speaker 11: On the motor boats too, because people are so overconfident
- 35:44Speaker 11: on how they can, you know, steer a boat, and
- 35:47Speaker 11: then when you're drunk, it's horrible.
- 35:50Speaker 4: I'd like to learn how to do what I'd like
- 35:53Speaker 4: to learn how to drive a boat where you dock it. Anybody,
- 35:56Speaker 4: anybody can drive the boat and open water. I'm talking
- 35:59Speaker 4: about when they pull it in and they're not even
- 36:03Speaker 4: so I remember because a buddy of mine had a
- 36:06Speaker 4: boat and he was, you know, teaching me. You know this,
- 36:08Speaker 4: this is years ago, so I haven't even tried it,
- 36:10Speaker 4: uh in a long time. But you had right for
- 36:13Speaker 4: the dock. So like the boat is like let's let's
- 36:16Speaker 4: say you're you're going to basically form a t The
- 36:19Speaker 4: boat is the the up and down part, and then
- 36:22Speaker 4: the dock goes left to right. You want to aim
- 36:25Speaker 4: for that, and at some point you kick the wheel
- 36:27Speaker 4: and you pull it into reverse and it basically just
- 36:29Speaker 4: kind of it kind of it kind of goes slideways
- 36:33Speaker 4: went to the dock. Because then you get close enough
- 36:35Speaker 4: you're able to take the rope and throw it onto
- 36:37Speaker 4: the little hook thing and pull over, you know, pull
- 36:40Speaker 4: the boat in and tie it down. But there there's
- 36:42Speaker 4: a there's an art to it, and I think it
- 36:45Speaker 4: looks super cool. It's like when baseball players slide in
- 36:48Speaker 4: the second and stand up a stand up slide. So
- 36:51Speaker 4: they slide and you know, just able to stand right
- 36:53Speaker 4: back up using the momentum of the slide to then
- 36:55Speaker 4: stand back up. That's cool. I want to be able
- 36:58Speaker 4: to do that. There's this dude on insta dock the
- 37:00Speaker 4: boat slide, the standing slide. His entire Instagram page is
- 37:04Speaker 4: how he is a charter pilot for these multi million
- 37:07Speaker 4: dollar yachts and he shows how you dock them and
- 37:10Speaker 4: oh man, the stress. Like he's in these ten million
- 37:13Speaker 4: dollar yachts. Oh just backing it into a tiny little diamond. Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 6: And for cruise ships, they hire somebody from that port
- 37:20Speaker 6: to come out in like.
- 37:20Speaker 4: A teeny tiny little dinghy into the port pilot.
- 37:23Speaker 6: Yeah, like climb up the boat and do it and
- 37:25Speaker 6: climb back down and row back.
- 37:27Speaker 4: Yeah. So the captain of a lot of these cruise
- 37:28Speaker 4: ships they're not bringing they don't know what, they're not
- 37:30Speaker 4: bringing the boat into port. There's a guy that comes
- 37:33Speaker 4: out and does that and he gets paid good money.
- 37:36Speaker 4: So he gets to drive all these really big cool
- 37:38Speaker 4: ships and then go home at night. That's that's pretty cool.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Well, there's tug boats that help with the cruise ship dockings.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Those guys make bank. Yeah.
- 37:47Speaker 11: Once my grandfather's driving a speedboat and they hit a
- 37:50Speaker 11: bump and he flew out the boat and my grandmother
- 37:54Speaker 11: was still in there. So it was going straight for shore.
- 37:57Speaker 11: So she's like, I don't know what to do, so
- 37:59Speaker 11: she just pulled the keys out of the Unluckily it's
- 38:01Speaker 11: slow down by the time.
- 38:03Speaker 4: I would never want to own a boat. I've just
- 38:04Speaker 4: heard too many stories.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Yeah too.
- 38:06Speaker 6: Well, everyone says two best days of your life, so
- 38:09Speaker 6: you buy it in the day you sell it.
- 38:10Speaker 4: I think it's because most people aren't living on the water. Like,
- 38:13Speaker 4: if you live on the water and you have a
- 38:15Speaker 4: little dock right there, I think that would be different
- 38:18Speaker 4: because it's just as easy as just going outside, getting
- 38:20Speaker 4: on the boat and taking it out, for sure. But
- 38:22Speaker 4: if you have to like put it on the trailer,
- 38:24Speaker 4: hook the trailer up to the suv, take it down
- 38:27Speaker 4: to the launch and ramp, you're like f this, Oh thanks, yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 8: Yeah, unless you do like water skiing and wakeboarding and
- 38:33Speaker 8: that kind of stuff, and that's your hobby.
- 38:34Speaker 4: But that's every once in a while. But I'm saying
- 38:35Speaker 4: that's why ownership of the boat at that point.
- 38:37Speaker 6: Just rent the boat, yeah, or you to have it
- 38:39Speaker 6: docked all year round and like winter rise, like.
- 38:42Speaker 4: All that stuff that goes with it too. I think
- 38:44Speaker 4: if you have one of those, and I see them
- 38:45Speaker 4: a lot on House Hunters when they do Florida. Everybody
- 38:49Speaker 4: lives on a canal of some kind. Yeah, like that
- 38:51Speaker 4: was cool. Yeah, people are hanging out there on their
- 38:53Speaker 4: back patios and stuff, watching boats go by. That's kind
- 38:57Speaker 4: of cool. That's where my girl lives.
- 38:58Speaker 11: She lives on a canal like that, and yeah, the
- 39:01Speaker 11: boats in the backyard, it's really really cool. Like she
- 39:04Speaker 11: also has like this pontoon boat that I would take
- 39:07Speaker 11: out and the motor for it she would keep in
- 39:09Speaker 11: the shed. So I had to like get it out
- 39:12Speaker 11: of the shed. It's heavy, yeah, and then you like
- 39:15Speaker 11: will it down to the to the dock and then
- 39:18Speaker 11: I have to hang over the water and like it
- 39:20Speaker 11: attach it and fell in the water so many times.
- 39:23Speaker 4: Nine one nine. What do you show? What's your stance
- 39:25Speaker 4: on drunk people riding horses? Fine with it? Yeah, whatever,
- 39:28Speaker 4: the horse doesn't care. Yeah, I don't care, Like, don't
- 39:31Speaker 4: ride it down the middle of the highway, right, you know,
- 39:33Speaker 4: or down a sidewalk.
- 39:34Speaker 2: That's the same.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Like, I don't care if you're sober and you're riding
- 39:37Speaker 4: your bike down the middle of a highway or exactly.
- 39:40Speaker 4: You know, Like we're talking about those cyclists the other day, Like, yah, man,
- 39:42Speaker 4: I'm fine with you riding your bike and everything, but
- 39:44Speaker 4: don't just be a dick just to hold people up
- 39:47Speaker 4: to prove that kind of thing. But yeah, if you're
- 39:48Speaker 4: just on a horse and you're drunk.
- 39:50Speaker 11: Cowboys were drunk all the time and.
- 39:53Speaker 4: They were cool, be fine. They were thinking like they
- 39:57Speaker 4: were smoking unfiltered cigarette, drinking whiskey. Yeah. You think those
- 40:00Speaker 4: guys ever bought a rubber right? Never? Please? Those are men,
- 40:06Speaker 4: you know what I mean. Now, look at you think
- 40:09Speaker 4: they used like shaving cream or purel. No, dude, they
- 40:12Speaker 4: had whatever knife they use just to cut rope with
- 40:15Speaker 4: and they looked in a ratty old mirror in an
- 40:18Speaker 4: outhouse and shaved their face right because.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Wearing those flannel ones.
- 40:24Speaker 4: Yeah with the back.
- 40:26Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm actually we had a time machine. We can
- 40:28Speaker 11: go like talk to the cowboys and be like, look, dude,
- 40:31Speaker 11: in our day. We can't like drink drink to be
- 40:34Speaker 11: on a horse like like what happened to society.
- 40:39Speaker 8: We've been saying rules, the boy doesn't want to have sex.
- 40:43Speaker 4: Ye, you gotta put your mouth on.
- 40:44Speaker 2: The Okay, that is quite impressive, quite quite quite impressively.
- 40:54Speaker 4: We've been saying lah lah lah lah lah lah warming up.
- 41:03Speaker 4: Lolah lock lo la la la la. Me uh yeah.
- 41:09Speaker 4: Friday fail story, Tom Guys, Yeah, yeah, I got some
- 41:12Speaker 4: good fail stories for you. If you want to check
- 41:16Speaker 4: in with us eight seven seven forty four Wooding, you

- 41:25Speaker 4: and then where around town you listening to the Woody Show.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Any kind of exciting weekend plan you might have that
- 41:30Speaker 4: you're really looking forward to. If there's anyone or anything
- 41:32Speaker 4: you'd like to have us mentioned when we get to
- 41:34Speaker 4: your check in, send it on over. Most importantly, name
- 41:37Speaker 4: and where around town you are over to two to
- 41:39Speaker 4: nine eight seven. Do that while we'll get into the
- 41:42Speaker 4: Friday fail stories. It is yelling, boys and girls, it
- 42:27Speaker 4: is time for your Fronday fan all story. All these
- 42:33Speaker 4: people thought they had the perfect plan, The plan that
- 42:35Speaker 4: can never go wrong within Somewhere along the line that
- 42:37Speaker 4: went from being a great idea to one big, stinking,
- 42:41Speaker 4: mega uber ultra out at the end. What was that? Like? Enough, Look, guys,
- 43:06Speaker 4: I've had a little science thing going on all week,
- 43:08Speaker 4: and right in the middle of it, as I was
- 43:10Speaker 4: holding the notes, all of a sudden, like it just
- 43:13Speaker 4: something slid into the path of the of the beautiful
- 43:16Speaker 4: sound that we were making. And that was my fault.
- 43:20Speaker 4: That was That was my fault. That's okay. This first
- 43:23Speaker 4: one here is from Pleasanton, California. This guy he was
- 43:26Speaker 4: hanging out with his twin brother and some friends. They
- 43:29Speaker 4: were out in and out there, and they got some
- 43:31Speaker 4: burgers and some of their disgusting fries, and then thought
- 43:34Speaker 4: it would be a cool idea to light some fireworks
- 43:37Speaker 4: right there in the parking lizard, very cool idea. His
- 43:40Speaker 4: friend handed him a firework about the size of a
- 43:43Speaker 4: tennis ball, and when he lit it, it went off
- 43:46Speaker 4: immediately and blew off his whole hand. He looked down
- 43:51Speaker 4: his whole hand was missing, like it disintegrated. He was
- 43:55Speaker 4: rushed to the hospital and the best the doctors could
- 43:57Speaker 4: do was save his wrist. Still as a wrist, but
- 44:01Speaker 4: the hand blew off and it was his dominant hand too,
- 44:03Speaker 4: which now means that he has to learn how to
- 44:05Speaker 4: do things like, you know, right and brush his teeth
- 44:07Speaker 4: and tid on socks and joe and things like that.
- 44:09Speaker 2: But yeah, wow.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Sales fun, that's how you learn fun. This is from
- 44:15Speaker 4: Maryland where this twenty nine year old dude, he was
- 44:18Speaker 4: looking for some quick cash. He decided to do that
- 44:21Speaker 4: by robbing a store. Yeah, SeaBASS was telling us about
- 44:24Speaker 4: this guy. This is the guy that pulled up to
- 44:25Speaker 4: the Verizon store he robbed the place, that ended up
- 44:28Speaker 4: calling the police himself. Why because he was busy doing
- 44:33Speaker 4: the whole robbing the Verizon store thing. Meanwhile another thief
- 44:37Speaker 4: was busy doing their thing and stole the guy's car there.
- 44:41Speaker 4: I mean, you just can't go into rob a place
- 44:42Speaker 4: these days society without somebody stealing your car.
- 44:46Speaker 11: I thought there was mutual respect between robbers.
- 44:49Speaker 4: The cops knew what was up. They connected the dots.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Here's a clip from the officer's body cam.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Or you at that Verizon store, because you've got blood
- 44:55Speaker 2: on your hands, and butter wasn't that vers to God
- 45:00Speaker 2: have a sea. So here's the deal.
- 45:02Speaker 10: Someone stole much.
- 45:03Speaker 2: I understand, I understand that.
- 45:05Speaker 4: So the gigs up.
- 45:06Speaker 2: It's whether you want to be honest about stuff or not.
- 45:08Speaker 1: I left.
- 45:09Speaker 7: I left that.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Yeah that's some karma right there.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Yes, but he swore to God man yeah no horizons. Yeah,
- 45:21Speaker 4: so sailed. He was arrested and taken off to failed jail.
- 45:26Speaker 4: This next one is about this dude in Scotland. He
- 45:28Speaker 4: was just tired. He's been working a lot, needed to relax,
- 45:31Speaker 4: so he decided to use his massage gun. You know,
- 45:34Speaker 4: like with those thera guns. But you know people use
- 45:37Speaker 4: on their shoulders, their legs, their arms, stuff like that.
- 45:40Speaker 4: This guy used it on his eyeballs. Yeah, I guess
- 45:44Speaker 4: sometimes man, you rub your eyes, I feel so good.
- 45:46Speaker 4: You're like yeah, but he's like, you know it might
- 45:48Speaker 4: be good. Let me use this miss this massage gun
- 45:51Speaker 4: on my eyeballs. Not smart. He jacked up his eyes
- 45:54Speaker 4: real bad. Retinal Yeah, dialysis sure, d I A L
- 46:03Speaker 4: Y S I S. Yeah, Okay it looked wrong. Yeah yeah, anyway,
- 46:09Speaker 4: totally messed up his vision. When he showed up at
- 46:12Speaker 4: the doctor's office, they they couldn't believe it, like you did?
- 46:15Speaker 2: What and why?
- 46:16Speaker 4: It was so bad he had to have surgery to
- 46:19Speaker 4: fix his sales, to fix his eyeballs.
- 46:21Speaker 3: It was the.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Dumbass and actual good news.
- 46:23Speaker 11: I follow this account that like tells you about all
- 46:26Speaker 11: the breakthroughs this week, and there was this kid who
- 46:28Speaker 11: designed this thing with AI that can do a retinal
- 46:31Speaker 11: scan that detects a d D and autism. So I
- 46:35Speaker 11: guess there's something in the eye. Yeah, that will detect
- 46:39Speaker 11: that kind of stuff.
- 46:39Speaker 4: And they can see it. Yeah, they can see, like
- 46:41Speaker 4: how much you love trains and stuff. Yeah that's weird. Yeah,
- 46:45Speaker 4: se training pretty crazy. Yeah, I'm looking at Oh yeah,
- 46:51Speaker 4: I can see that. You know, every sports score from
- 46:53Speaker 4: the past thirty years. It is h This next one,
- 46:57Speaker 4: it's out of Ohio. Semi truck was leaking all over
- 47:00Speaker 4: the highway. Was hauling forty thousand pounds of Frank's Red
- 47:04Speaker 4: Hot sauce. Now you can't put that ish on anything
- 47:08Speaker 4: in this case, all over the highway. Oh No, driver
- 47:11Speaker 4: not even aware the sauce was pouring out of the
- 47:13Speaker 4: car the vehicle, so he just kept driving. The cops
- 47:16Speaker 4: they followed the trail all the way to the truck
- 47:18Speaker 4: stop where the truck had pulled over. I mean it
- 47:20Speaker 4: was all over the road and it was just baking
- 47:23Speaker 4: in the summer heat the cruise. They had to call
- 47:26Speaker 4: in the hazmat team thanks to the acidity of the
- 47:29Speaker 4: hot sauce. Oh yeah, it was like, what does it matter?
- 47:31Speaker 6: Yeah, but yeah, so salt grab your chicken tends.
- 47:37Speaker 4: And this next one, this final one, my favorite story
- 47:40Speaker 4: of the week about a guy who was doing a
- 47:42Speaker 4: little camping out in the California forest and he had
- 47:45Speaker 4: to use the restroom. So he did his business like normal,
- 47:48Speaker 4: but in the process, he accidentally dropped his sunglasses into
- 47:51Speaker 4: the campsite toilet.
- 47:52Speaker 6: Then it goes away and then you're done with sunglasses.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Now keep in mind this type of toilet no water,
- 47:57Speaker 4: doesn't flush. Yeah, we've all used one exactly that. I'd
- 48:01Speaker 4: be like, well the way, I don't at the end
- 48:03Speaker 4: of that, But instead of chalking it up to lost cause,
- 48:06Speaker 4: he decided he was going to get him back. Long
- 48:09Speaker 4: story short, he ended up falling in and he was
- 48:11Speaker 4: stuck and couldn't get out. So not only did he
- 48:14Speaker 4: fall in couldn't get out, cops were called for a
- 48:17Speaker 4: quote confined space rescue. How embarrassing.
- 48:23Speaker 10: I don't care if.
- 48:24Speaker 11: They're like Gucci sung yeah, or whatever it's done.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Here's a rep from the police department telling reporters what
- 48:31Speaker 4: happened for.
- 48:31Speaker 15: They advised that the subject had fallen into the chemical
- 48:35Speaker 15: storage tank. Law enforcement camp Edison staff fire personnel responded
- 48:39Speaker 15: were able to safely get him out, decontaminate them.
- 48:43Speaker 6: Ye, spray him off like an elephant.
- 48:46Speaker 11: No word, something that dropped in there that you would
- 48:48Speaker 11: go get?
- 48:49Speaker 10: You would?
- 48:51Speaker 6: I mean even my dog would be pushing it.
- 48:54Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean I think like you're something
- 48:56Speaker 4: like like ID no, I get another one?
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, like a friendly heirloom. Maybe what if you dropped
- 49:03Speaker 2: your entire wallets, your ID, all your credit cards, all
- 49:06Speaker 2: that stuff done?
- 49:07Speaker 4: Just cancel them? I think I might. I think I'm
- 49:09Speaker 4: I will do what I can. I'm not climbing in there.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm seeing the phone number on the side of
- 49:15Speaker 2: the exactly.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Yeah. Maybe something like that. But anyway, no word, if
- 49:19Speaker 4: you got the sign classes, I have no idea if
- 49:20Speaker 4: you had sale the question quick break more what he
- 49:24Speaker 4: shows next hand. I wanted to ask you, guys, what
- 49:31Speaker 4: you thought this person should do? You send us an email,
- 49:37Speaker 4: let me find it right quick. You can send us
- 49:40Speaker 4: your email email at the woodieshow dot com. It's email
- 49:43Speaker 4: at the woodieshow dot com. All right, this is oh yeah.
- 49:49Speaker 4: They asked to stay anonymous. What do you showed need
- 49:53Speaker 4: advice on this one? I received a Stanley mug as
- 49:56Speaker 4: a gift from one of my subordinates, which was very kind.
- 50:01Speaker 4: But I'm not a basic bitch. What do I do
- 50:04Speaker 4: with said mug? Do I have to use it at
- 50:07Speaker 4: work to show appreciation and risk being looped in with
- 50:10Speaker 4: all the other Lululemon generic hose.
- 50:16Speaker 14: Dude?
- 50:17Speaker 4: Or do this woman's clearly in management of some kind
- 50:24Speaker 4: the other Lulu Lemon generic hose? Or do I take
- 50:27Speaker 4: it home and regift it? These things are expensive and
- 50:30Speaker 4: I do appreciate the gesture, but man, this thing is
- 50:32Speaker 4: heavy and pretty gay. Help me, you're my only hope. Yeah. Ps,
- 50:39Speaker 4: I threw in the Star Wars reference for bort and
- 50:41Speaker 4: to antagonize Sea Bass pps. Please keep me anonymous, as
- 50:45Speaker 4: I don't want any hurt feelings. All right? Yeah? What
- 50:48Speaker 4: happens when you get a gift like that? Because that's
- 50:51Speaker 4: clearly not something that you give somebody and it's for
- 50:53Speaker 4: their use at home. It's something that you know you expect, right,
- 50:58Speaker 4: maybe leave it at work.
- 51:00Speaker 11: That's what I was about to say. If you have
- 51:01Speaker 11: a desk, just leave it on.
- 51:02Speaker 4: The desk, I know. But if it's never getting used,
- 51:04Speaker 4: it looks like it's being there, it's stay core.
- 51:08Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a win win because you don't really have
- 51:10Speaker 6: to use it and the person thinks you're using it.
- 51:12Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 51:12Speaker 4: You know what I did once? I felt bad. I
- 51:17Speaker 4: I was going to an event and I thought I
- 51:19Speaker 4: was going to stay the night, so they got me
- 51:20Speaker 4: the hotel room, and I felt bad for not using it.
- 51:24Speaker 4: So what I did is I went in there and
- 51:25Speaker 4: I just messed the bed up and then oh my god,
- 51:27Speaker 4: that's so funny. Yeah, like, oh no, yeah, but it was.
- 51:32Speaker 4: It was too it was too late because it was
- 51:34Speaker 4: like a last minute thing. I had to plans changed,
- 51:36Speaker 4: had to get back home, couldn't spend the night, so
- 51:39Speaker 4: I just high tailed it back afterwards, and I just
- 51:42Speaker 4: like messed the bed up. Who was that for? Though?
- 51:44Speaker 2: What?
- 51:44Speaker 4: Who was that? Who were do you think he was
- 51:46Speaker 4: going to see that? Just so I don't know, I
- 51:49Speaker 4: don't know.
- 51:49Speaker 11: I've done that, have you good a couple of times?
- 51:53Speaker 11: And one of them was just like this place is
- 51:55Speaker 11: kind of dumpy. I ain't staying here, and so I
- 51:57Speaker 11: just messed up the bed and left.
- 51:59Speaker 4: Our friend Tony speaking of hotels and things he would
- 52:01Speaker 4: do every time he go in, did they still put bibles?
- 52:04Speaker 4: I always in the hotel. Whenever he would go into
- 52:09Speaker 4: a hotel, he'd get the Bible, open it up and
- 52:10Speaker 4: sign the front page. Stay a play at Jesus Christ,
- 52:14Speaker 4: like an autograph copy. Awesome, that's worth so much when
- 52:18Speaker 4: you autograph, which which is very much him. Yeah, I
- 52:23Speaker 4: don't know. I mean, I see what you're saying, but
- 52:25Speaker 4: I think every once in a while, but if if
- 52:28Speaker 4: your concern sounds silly to say, if your concern is
- 52:31Speaker 4: you want to be lumped in, if you keep it
- 52:33Speaker 4: on your desk and it makes it look like you're
- 52:35Speaker 4: using it.
- 52:35Speaker 2: You might as well use it defeating the purpose.
- 52:37Speaker 6: Then you're gonna have to start watching Love Island.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Jeff, Jeff, tell everybody what happened.
- 52:44Speaker 10: I get home yesterday after our meeting, and we were
- 52:46Speaker 10: talking about Love Island a bunch, right.
- 52:47Speaker 4: Yeah, because we're like, man, there were so many people.
- 52:49Speaker 4: Remember how people are crazy with bachelor, Bachelor, Yeah, well
- 52:52Speaker 4: that type of that type of hysteria, that type of
- 52:55Speaker 4: fandom is now being applied to Love Island. Yeah, and
- 52:59Speaker 4: people are all about it.
- 53:00Speaker 11: Yeah, And I blamed I kind of blame Euphoria for
- 53:05Speaker 11: that because it was really popular in the UK. That's
- 53:08Speaker 11: where Love Island started, and all the hipsters and like
- 53:12Speaker 11: cool people were saying, oh, I'm watching Love Island but UK,
- 53:15Speaker 11: and it was got It got highlighted in Euphoria, and
- 53:19Speaker 11: then then in America they started broadcasting their own version,
- 53:23Speaker 11: and then it started becoming popular. In the first season, I.
- 53:28Speaker 16: Get home yesterday and what's on my wife's TV in
- 53:31Speaker 16: the front room freaking Love Island Island.
- 53:34Speaker 10: I was so disappointed. I go, you're not one of them.
- 53:37Speaker 16: Why are you doing I've ever found out?
- 53:40Speaker 10: She goes, I watch it with with Owen, our youngest son,
- 53:43Speaker 10: And why is he watching it? Because it's all about.
- 53:46Speaker 16: Fying and everything else and cheating and making out with
- 53:48Speaker 16: a bunch of aroundom people. But that that was my point,
- 53:53Speaker 16: this is what you're bonding over. And she's like, shut up,
- 53:56Speaker 16: She's like, let me just watch my stuff. You don't
- 53:58Speaker 16: have to watch it. Shut up and just go watch
- 54:00Speaker 16: whatever you want to watch. So it's not awkward for her.
- 54:02Speaker 4: Like if they are watching something like that and she's
- 54:04Speaker 4: sitting there with her son and they're people slamming.
- 54:07Speaker 16: That's what I said, Man, you're teaching them to be
- 54:09Speaker 16: a cheater and a narcissist.
- 54:10Speaker 4: Also, it's also just uncomfortable watching a sex scene. Well,
- 54:13Speaker 4: here's the thing. If I'm watching something and my dad
- 54:16Speaker 4: and step mom around, it's a different vibe than it
- 54:18Speaker 4: is with my mom. And my mom is very like proper, yeah,
- 54:23Speaker 4: very very straight edge in a lot of ways.
- 54:24Speaker 2: You know, it's so awkward.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Like imagine watching a sex scene with your mom. Like
- 54:28Speaker 4: your mom, like our mothers are very much like personality wise,
- 54:33Speaker 4: very very very much the same. I'll go to my
- 54:37Speaker 4: classy you know, in my very classy broads.
- 54:40Speaker 11: In law's house, and it would be my brother in
- 54:42Speaker 11: law and you know, the mom and dad and they're
- 54:45Speaker 11: watching like Narcos, and it's like all like drugs, straight
- 54:49Speaker 11: up murder and like sex. It's like it's crazy watching
- 54:53Speaker 11: it together.
- 54:53Speaker 4: I think I told you guys this story years ago,
- 54:56Speaker 4: years and years ago. My wife bought tickets for her
- 55:00Speaker 4: dad so they can together go to go see Ron White. Yeah,
- 55:04Speaker 4: because that whole like blue collar comedy festival at the
- 55:07Speaker 4: time was super huge, and my father in law thought
- 55:10Speaker 4: Ron White was super funny. So my wife's like, oh,
- 55:12Speaker 4: that'll be fun. So she for his birthday for something,
- 55:16Speaker 4: bought them tickets so they can go together to go
- 55:19Speaker 4: see Ron White. Got really good seats. They're pretty close
- 55:23Speaker 4: to the front, and they're sitting there and they're watching.
- 55:25Speaker 4: And now keep in mind, my father in law had
- 55:28Speaker 4: only seen Ron White on the television where it's pretty
- 55:31Speaker 4: much cleaned up. Now this is a live show. He
- 55:34Speaker 4: did about thirty minutes on anal and she's sitting there
- 55:39Speaker 4: with her dad, and she said she wanted it to die.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Yeah you just.
- 55:43Speaker 6: Wait at that point, No way.
- 55:48Speaker 4: I love that for her though. That's good for you.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:51Speaker 6: But at our house these days, whenever there's something a
- 55:54Speaker 6: little a little too steamy coming on and we pass
- 55:56Speaker 6: forward it, the kid who's almost loves.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Like, you know, what are you doing?
- 55:59Speaker 6: Yeah, super curious, really wants to see it, but we're uncomfortable,
- 56:02Speaker 6: Like now later.
- 56:04Speaker 4: I want to see it. Yeah, see, now you've created that.
- 56:07Speaker 4: That's that was the Howard certain thing with me. My
- 56:09Speaker 4: mom said, you're not allowed to listen to this man,
- 56:11Speaker 4: and that's that started my obsession with it, because what
- 56:13Speaker 4: am I not supposed to? But if I'm saying, if
- 56:15Speaker 4: you just if you just kind of let it pass enough,
- 56:18Speaker 4: it goes on and on on and go. Yeah, can
- 56:20Speaker 4: we let's just watch something else? This is kind of
- 56:21Speaker 4: getting boring. Yeah, not where all of a sudden you're jumping,
- 56:24Speaker 4: because now all of a sudden there's a yeah, and
- 56:26Speaker 4: you're diving on the remote. It's a curious guy. Of course,
- 56:30Speaker 4: he's a young man. Yep, he's going to get worse
- 56:34Speaker 4: at the age where we were looking in the national
- 56:36Speaker 4: geographics trying to see I can.
- 56:40Speaker 11: With the Love Island thing. People become addicted to it?
- 56:42Speaker 11: Now I could be wrong. Is this the thing? Also
- 56:44Speaker 11: that they show like stuff like twenty four seven online
- 56:48Speaker 11: that you so you can watch it, and then a
- 56:50Speaker 11: lot of it's like in real time when they're making
- 56:52Speaker 11: the episodes like live streams.
- 56:53Speaker 16: Yeah, yeah, they have like recap shows and yes, people,
- 56:57Speaker 16: there's so much programming for it.
- 56:59Speaker 10: It's crazy. And that's all that she's going to do now.
- 57:02Speaker 10: And that's why I shamed her for it. Take up
- 57:04Speaker 10: it's going to take up your whole day.
- 57:06Speaker 4: Well, she got kind of mad. She did Yeah, she
- 57:08Speaker 4: got really defensive.
- 57:09Speaker 10: You know, we talked about it yesterday.
- 57:11Speaker 4: You know, yes, I just I just.
- 57:14Speaker 6: Did Love Island live stream and it's live streaming right
- 57:16Speaker 6: now with somebody like in a confessional talking to the camera.
- 57:19Speaker 4: Text here back to the listener's question about the Stanley
- 57:22Speaker 4: that she got from her employee. The water cup situations
- 57:27Speaker 4: happened to me. The listener should carry it around for
- 57:29Speaker 4: a couple of days and pretend to use it and
- 57:31Speaker 4: then regift it. As long as the gifter sees the
- 57:34Speaker 4: listener quote using the cup, the gift giver will assume
- 57:38Speaker 4: that she uses it all the time.
- 57:39Speaker 2: That's good.
- 57:41Speaker 4: You've got to be seen with it once kind of thing,
- 57:43Speaker 4: and then you can love in my cup. Make sure
- 57:46Speaker 4: they see it.
- 57:46Speaker 2: You also have to be in the mindset that when
- 57:48Speaker 2: you give somebody a gift, it's theirs. They can do
- 57:50Speaker 2: whatever the hell they want with it.
- 57:52Speaker 3: That's true.
- 57:52Speaker 8: I mean, I'm not a post to them giving it
- 57:54Speaker 8: to somebody who's going to use it. As a gift giver,
- 57:56Speaker 8: you just want whatever you bought to be used by somebody.
- 57:59Speaker 6: Yeah, but if you're buying it for your boss, you're
- 58:01Speaker 6: like proud to you don't have them show it off
- 58:03Speaker 6: and that ain't happening them.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Well, yeah, because if you put some thought into it,
- 58:07Speaker 4: if it was just like I got you something to
- 58:08Speaker 4: get you something, then who cares what they do it to.
- 58:10Speaker 4: But it's when you think that you've come up with
- 58:12Speaker 4: like a really good idea, right yeah, and maybe just
- 58:15Speaker 4: use it. You might love it.
- 58:17Speaker 2: I mean, let me use it.
- 58:21Speaker 4: It'll change your life. Hold on, what's the quote? I
- 58:23Speaker 4: risk being looped in with all the other Lululemon generic ho's,
- 58:27Speaker 4: but you might love it. You're just judging them up.
- 58:32Speaker 4: He puts the G.
- 58:33Speaker 17: In Garcia SoCal Sports with Jeff Garcy.
- 58:40Speaker 4: All right, Jeff g what's happening with the sports? Well,
- 58:42Speaker 4: hold on and give your microphone on. I would help.
- 58:44Speaker 10: What's happening heavy for Heddy?
- 58:45Speaker 4: What do you show?
- 58:46Speaker 16: Let's go ahead, start with the Angels. They lost again
- 58:48Speaker 16: yesterday in Texas seven to six. Halo is moving on
- 58:50Speaker 16: to Minnesota this weekend. Doyers were off yesterday. They welcome
- 58:54Speaker 16: the d Backs to Dodger Stadium tonight, Black Heritage Tonight
- 58:57Speaker 16: Tomorrow sun LAFC Bobblehead Night, and on Sunday. Keike Hernandez
- 59:01Speaker 16: pitching bobblehead. Also, if you are an Otani stand Hallmark
- 59:06Speaker 16: is dropping and you keep saying Christmas tree ornament over
- 59:09Speaker 16: Tani this weekend on Hallmark dot com. Thanks Menace for
- 59:12Speaker 16: shooting that over to me. And don't forget we got
- 59:14Speaker 16: those Dodgers sweet tickets any moment. Right here on the
- 59:16Speaker 16: Woody Show. UFC three twenty nine is Manyana cart is
- 59:19Speaker 16: pretty stacked. Of course, everybody's focused on Connor McGregor. He's
- 59:23Speaker 16: back tomorrow night fighting Max Holloway for the second time.
- 59:26Speaker 10: World Cup.
- 59:27Speaker 16: Yesterday France beat Morocco to be the first into the
- 59:30Speaker 16: final four. Today Spain and Belgium at Sofi Stadium Tomorrow,
- 59:33Speaker 16: Norway Norway, England and Argentina Switzerland, WNBA Sky at the
- 59:38Speaker 16: Sparks today at Crypto and Angel CITYFC at San Diego
- 59:42Speaker 16: Wave tomorrow. NBA Summer League Clippers lost last night Lake
- 59:46Speaker 16: Show tonight versus the Thunder, and finally this morning, the
- 59:49Speaker 16: Clippers and Raptors executed a trade for Kawhi Leonard.
- 59:53Speaker 10: Now it's on.
- 59:54Speaker 16: Hold because the NBA needs to complete its investigation into
- 59:57Speaker 16: those bs aspiration pays for Kawhi Leonard. Do you remember
- 1:00:01Speaker 16: that story where they like paid him on the side
- 1:00:03Speaker 16: to do these fake ads. It was like seventy million
- 1:00:05Speaker 16: dollars or something for that fake plant company.
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:00:09Speaker 16: So word is that he might be suspended now for
- 1:00:12Speaker 16: almost half the season if they can prove it that
- 1:00:15Speaker 16: these fake payments were happening. So obviously, if you're the Raptors,
- 1:00:18Speaker 16: why do you want to trade for a player you're
- 1:00:19Speaker 16: only going to get for half the season, right, Yeah,
- 1:00:21Speaker 16: So we'll see how all that plays out.
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: And that's your so Cal sports right here on the
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: Woody Show.
- 1:00:25Speaker 17: All right, Jeff G. Wood Show, all right, welcome back, dude.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: There is there's a clip, man that gets me out
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: of any funk, any bad mood. It doesn't matter what's
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: going on if if I see this clip or sometimes
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: I'll even look it up because like, even though I've
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: seen it a billion times, it kills me every time.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: And it stars a couple of our friends, Burke Kreischer
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: and Tom Cigarette. I think I told you before, like
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: I remember watching this clip and going, man like, it'd
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: be so great to have a friend like that, like
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: that kind of romance like that. I don't know, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: I do. And that's the thing. It's like I do have.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: But it's like, man, you watch that and it makes
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: you want to like when people go, man, I saw
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: whatever the story was, and it made me want to
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: call my son and just give him a big hug,
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: or maybe me want to call my mom, and maybe
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: it made me wanted to reach out to my homies
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: and be like, you know, hey, I just want to
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: let you know that I appreciate you. Nice Waite. Yeah,
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: but dude, it kills me every time. I laughed so
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: hard that like I'm crying. And you've probably seen it.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: It's where they're doing their Two Bears podcast and Bert
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: goes to pour himself a little bit of it, like
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: he's drinking kool Aid out of like a sixty four
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: ounce like one of those giant forget the Stanley's like
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: a giant water jug and it just filled with kool
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: Aid and Tom can't believe it.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I kool Aid, the kool Aid you drink. You're drinking
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: kool Aid to start your days. So good for kind Red,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: you are drinking kool Aid. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: Drinking sixty foreheads so much.
- 1:02:29Speaker 18: Sugar walk around.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Good for that guy, water.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: So much good. Let's have a gallon of cool Aid.
- 1:03:04Speaker 19: You're like, I'm getting my dating right now.
- 1:03:12Speaker 14: Drink.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: It reminds me of God, there's another adult man, the
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: two gawns of kool Aid. How many adult dudes are
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: just like drinking two gallons of kool aid every day?
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: And it reminds me like, because every once in a while, man,
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: something catches Greg and he loses it. Yeah, and we
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: don't have We don't know what he's laughing about. But
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: now we're laughing so hard that we're crying. That is
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: an immediate mood shifter right there. Oh god, yeah, dude,
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: it gets me. It gets me every.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Time Tom better when the this year.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: I knows him. He deserves you like that shows. I
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: haven't watched the second season yet. I like the it
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: seems like you're kind of show.
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: I liked the the Karate What the hell the guy
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: Karate the actor who's famous for faking his.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: The fat one.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: I love the segment.
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: Otherwise it was very one note with all the sex stuff,
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: but I love the ciagall stuff.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: Also, season two is better. The laughing thing laughing is contagious,
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: like yawning. Yeah, yeah, I found a clip this is Greg.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: I don't even know what was going on, but somehow
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: we have a recording of great and this is one
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: of the this is what I'm talking about. It's one
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: of those random times where Greg is just losing it
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: and he just can't stop laughing and it's making the
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: rest of us laugh.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: That's the idea for I have the best idea.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Guys. Let's be sarcastic.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Hey, anything, got any ideas? Yes I do, Let's be sarcastic.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: God, oh god crying?
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Look all right, what are we doing?
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: That was?
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: That was what we were getting ready to record something.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: So yeah, I don't know. So it was it was
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: rolling and then Greg just loses it the big because
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: the big plan was to I don't know, and I
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: just cut everybody else's microphone so I can get that
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: nice clean recording of Greg just losing it laughing. But
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: you're one of those people though, like you're laughing. Everybody's
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: laughing for me between Yeah, So what what's something? It
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: could be like something from a movie. It could be
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: something that you saw online that you saved and you
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: go back to it, just like something that just gets
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: you every time. Can you think of stuff? I? Yeah,
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: I know there's a there's a couple for me. But
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: you guys got stuff too. All right, Well, let's let's
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: take the break and then, uh, and then we'll come
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: back and I'll see what you guys got. You got clips?
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: You find a clip for me? Please? Sure?
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: Yeah, what what gets you every time? And you can
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: tell us on the text two over to two two
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: ninety seven will beat right back, right back? Well, no,
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: that Greg makes us laugh.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: When he laughs?
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: What what I mean? What doesn't? But what really gets
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: you Greg? For you? What gets you every time?
- 1:06:52Speaker 10: For me?
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: And this is more of just something that I love
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: that I find funny. It's more of a personal goal
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: to get you guys to accept the fact that jex
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: is one of the greatest movies of all time. Damn it.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: If you ever thought that a phone could be funny,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: JEXI is the proof. And this is JEXI telling uh
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: about what the movie. Just just Adam Divine from Workaholics,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: who I love and I think he's brilliant. He gets
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: a brand new phone and the phone's software is called Jexy.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: You're SERI, and it's supposed to make your life better.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: But Jex's a total bitch and it's like kind of
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: being mean to him and trying to improve his life
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: and telling him how to live and what to order
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: for food because he's fat, this, that, and the other.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: You never think a phone could be funny, and it is.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: And then this one with JEXI is giving him directions
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: on which way to turn his car.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Now turn left on Market Street.
- 1:07:48Speaker 11: You're joking, right, there's six lanes of solid traffic.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: Turn left onto Market Street.
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: No one turns left on the Market. I'm not turning
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: left on the Market.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you.
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: You're making the situation so much better.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Stop being a chicken pil How about you.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: Quit pressuring me?
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: How about that Jaxy buckalkokuokok that is the sound chickens make.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Fi stop on a sock film.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: I have a sock.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: Okay, I have a sack. Let's go.
- 1:08:14Speaker 10: I'm late for yoga.
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: You know what, Fine, fine, I don't even care anymore.
- 1:08:26Speaker 10: It's it's so funny.
- 1:08:29Speaker 18: Adam Devine makes it look so effortless, and Jacks a
- 1:08:35Speaker 18: phone is funny.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: It's so good. He loves j e x I.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: He changes the music that he listens to. Oh, it's
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: just so well.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: It gets Craig every time. Rule like I know my
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: wife she watches those videos where I forget the guy's
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: name is comedian, but he uh, he's like narrating animals,
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: like what animals are saying, Like there would be like
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: a like a giant ape in the zoo. He's like, oh,
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: you come to me, you come. He's like pound his chest,
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: he let me, let me show him, and she's dying laughing.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: What are you laughing at?
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: It's like those old yeah yeah yeah, what is the
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: freed menace gets you every time?
- 1:09:11Speaker 11: Well, my absolute number number one has too much swearing
- 1:09:15Speaker 11: in it, and like it's in Spanish, but I know
- 1:09:17Speaker 11: you guys seen this video. It's a little kid who's
- 1:09:20Speaker 11: trying to cross this I would say, like a stream
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: of water and he's like walking on tree trunks and
- 1:09:27Speaker 11: his friends are like messing with it, and then he
- 1:09:29Speaker 11: gets knocked off into the water. So you hear the
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: splash and he's like, I wait, I wigh. It's hilarious,
- 1:09:34Speaker 11: but I can't play that. So my close second is
- 1:09:39Speaker 11: the old man cop who is trying to get a
- 1:09:41Speaker 11: cat adopted and then.
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: The oh my god, yeah yeah like og, yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: Yeah, you know what you're talking about. So that that's
- 1:09:51Speaker 11: my clip there.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Pinky. Hi, this is Pinky.
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: This is Pinky. He's a male cat, domestic short hair.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: He's available for a docs. He's Pet of the Week,
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: Classic County Animal Shop.
- 1:10:06Speaker 14: He's a very loving cat.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: Pinky, Tinky, Pinky, what what what? Winky? Settle down man, dude.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: Pinky manimal. Somebody says, uh, the I don't know why,
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: but the I Like Turtles clip gets me every time.
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: The kid at the Fairy I like Turtles.
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: Okay, back to you.
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: I mean the apparently kid. Yeah, straightforward. Yeah, that's that's
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: pretty good. Somebody said Pad O'Neill from kill Tony has
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: me luis losing it every time he's on. I'm not
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: familiar with Pad, with that new guy that's like kind
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: of balding. Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not familiar, but
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: I've seen a lot of clips from kill Tony, which
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: I'm like, dude, because you know, the more uncomfortable, the
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: more inappropriate, whatever, the better. I typically like it. Do
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: you have something c Bass, I mean, I mean I
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: love the the not really your personality.
- 1:11:17Speaker 9: So the Leprechan clip is just always I mean, it's
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: it's classic. It's everywhere, you know the fact and just
- 1:11:27Speaker 9: think about it from a higher level. Besides the fact
- 1:11:29Speaker 9: that there's a hole, they road of people out looking
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: for a leprechon the fact that the news showed up.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: And did the witness drive like, there's.
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: So many layers and it's it's it's so well, it's
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: well covered.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: I get it. But there's just so many layers to
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: it of different angles on it that.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Curiosity leads to large crowds and mobiles critoned community. Many
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: of you bring binoculars, can quarders, even camera phones to
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: take pictures to me and the like.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Of level kind to me, I gotta do a look up.
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: Bit of cheap.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: My witnesses say the leprechaun only comes out at night.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Others find it hard to believe and have come up
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: with their own theories and explanations for the image.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: Good be a quacket around it. Don't get up in
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: a tree and play a.
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: That's what happened. Every every SoundBite is better than the last.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: The leprechaun fluting to direct traffic says he's prepared for
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: his encounter with the leprechaun.
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: He suited up from head to toe.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: This is a special lepric and flu yep I just
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: came to help out.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Others just came to get lucky at hope it may
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: be buried under this tree.
- 1:12:40Speaker 20: I'm gonna run a back hoot that tree.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: I want to know where to go, Where to go?
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Where to go?
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Okay, everyone's seen it, but it's so good in so
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: Gina Grad will get you every time. I love the.
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: Dude who puts all the comments to music on Instagram,
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: the guy.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: Dal does Yale does I see? Our favorite?
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: Is you know that like one hundred year old looking
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: dog that what's making fun of? But this one lately
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: has been killing me. It's this chick who is sitting
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: in her car. She's like a realtor, and she does
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: not blink the entire video and freaks everybody out.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: In these are the comments, I have a new too
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: bad two bath apartment, you chop.
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: Is that this unit?
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: Or is that just the other locations?
- 1:13:22Speaker 10: Winking is a fundamental.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: Action that helps people understand that you aren't.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Going to murder them.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Give her a break.
- 1:13:28Speaker 10: She hasn't quite got used to a human form yet.
- 1:13:32Speaker 16: The bottom he's performed in unit or elsewhere, only interested.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: If in Uni.
- 1:13:38Speaker 17: I'm understanding there, Stenet, I like to book a cancelation.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: I live in Canada and I'm still worry. I like
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: those of the commentsary you see that, like, yes, I'm
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: just curious. How do I book a cancel? How do
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: I cancel someone else's? Do you guys take cancelations? I
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: like to pre cancel? Yeah, this guy, he does a
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: ton of those where he takes all the best like
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: laugh out loud, it's you know this apartment you could
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: work for this guy? Ask you know you got you
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: got all this really cool like AI music making.
- 1:14:09Speaker 11: Think anyone could beat this guy?
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, but it does take a certain weight,
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Like you have to know how to prompt it properly.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: You were showing me some stuff the other day. Yeah,
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: you have to you know, you have to be a
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: selective and what you what you pick?
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: The comments they're so funny.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: I love those speaking things that are like more like
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: memish than they are from a movie or whatever. And
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: I did clean this one up a little bit, but
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: it gets me every time. Have you seen it started
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: with like two friends kind of you know whatever, yelling
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: at each other, But then people have applied it to
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: like you'll see like a dog who's staring across a
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: field and sees a deer and they put the audio
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: to it with this, what your name? What? What is
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: your name? What's your name? Thank you?
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: Hey?
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: You know what I did last night? You better not
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: break my mother under. You better not that fly over now.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: So it's even better. Yeah, it's even better when you
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: know it's like a you know, a couple of bears
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: with a lot of French bulldog video. Yeah, dude, it's
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: so funny. People now started doing it. If you've ever
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: been on a cruise you'll pull into a port somewhere
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: and there'll be another cruise ship from another cruise line
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: there and people are yelling between the two cruise ships.
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: Watch your name? What's your name? Is there you?
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: If you was here?
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: I don't know why. It's so funny. Yeah. Oh and
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: then you know, I'll play one more and then we're
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: gonna do a break. But uh, Cat Williams, dude, his
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: talk about delivery Cat Williams. How you know there's certain
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: people like a you know, Morgan Friedman. You could listen
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: to them read the phone book. Cat Williams, I think
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: could deliver anything. It's his delivery man. What he's saying
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: is funny and his delivery is good. But he was
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: in a movie called I've never seen the movie. I've
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: just seen this clip. It was a movie directed by
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: Nick Cannon of all people.
- 1:16:12Speaker 11: Really yeah yeah.
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: The movie is called School Dance, Kat Williams, Tiffany Hattish,
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: and that's who's in this scene. It's Catwims. He's in prison.
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: This is so funny. He's this fun man. This another
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: one makes me laugh out. He's in prison. Tiffany Hattish
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: is the baby mama who's coming to visit him, and
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: she's got the two kids, his two kids coming to
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: visit him in prison.
- 1:16:33Speaker 21: Here we go, say hi Daddy, Say Hi daddy, Hi Gay?
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: Who's goddamn white baby?
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Is that?
- 1:16:40Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: The one little kid that's sitting on her lap, it
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: looks like a little white baby.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: It's got glasses on, looks like a total like dork.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: The other kids, some black boy you know, clearly could
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: be his. This other one, say Hi Daddy, Say Hi daddy,
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: Hi gay?
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: Who's god damn white baby?
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Is that?
- 1:16:59Speaker 22: This is Joe Bay Okay, he's just light skinted.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: Mm hm.
- 1:17:02Speaker 22: That one might be mine. That one right there, I'm
- 1:17:05Speaker 22: not totally sure, just because you name him, Darren. Don't
- 1:17:07Speaker 22: mean he belonged to Darren, But I don't care what
- 1:17:10Speaker 22: this baby's name is. This baby is right skindid but
- 1:17:13Speaker 22: not light skinned. That is a white child. That is
- 1:17:16Speaker 22: Caucasian from the mountains of Caucasus. That is a Slavic baby,
- 1:17:20Speaker 22: a Viking from Icelam. That's good. That baby got seven
- 1:17:24Speaker 22: thirty as a credit rating. Right now, as an.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: Infer, you the only one I've been with, Darren, let
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: me explain to you the math.
- 1:17:30Speaker 22: I've been in here sixteen consecutive years.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: You know how long consecutive is, don't you.
- 1:17:35Speaker 22: Okay, so it means one right after the motherfucking of
- 1:17:38Speaker 22: it is.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: I ain't never missed the day.
- 1:17:40Speaker 22: So clearly you've been having some conjugal visits with some
- 1:17:43Speaker 22: other motherfuckers other than me. That's not my baby. That's
- 1:17:47Speaker 22: almost a grown white man you brought in here. His
- 1:17:50Speaker 22: glasses are certainly grown. I've never seen a baby with
- 1:17:52Speaker 22: that type of prescription.
- 1:17:53Speaker 11: Hey, Darren, that plays my mom like that man.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Be respectful. You're absolutely right. I apologize for that.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: This vision.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: Your mother was mis behave.
- 1:18:06Speaker 22: I should have said that example funny, A nice white gentleman.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: From the Mountains of that's a Viking baby. That baby's
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: got a seven fifty credit score sitting here as an infant.
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: So funny. All right, We're got to take a break.
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: We'll come back more what he shows Next, we'll play
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: the d u i Q. If you want to play,
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: you want to be our contestant? Eight seven seven forty four.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: What is the number to call? Give you a chance
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: to win something?
- 1:18:34Speaker 14: Here?
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: So d u i Q is next? Eight seven seven
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: forty four. What not the name of the mascot per Se? Yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: per Se, that's fancy, is always per Se.
- 1:18:47Speaker 11: I love to do so that's a nice girl, sir.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: Shoe.
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: Well, it's time for today's dumb ass contest, and today's
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: dumb ass contest is the d i Q. Yeah, d
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: u i Q eight seven seven forty four woody see
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: best explaining the way the game works, everybody, please.
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: I find somebody who's out on these streets drunk, and
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: I ask them these easiest questions trivia you might ever imagine.
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: So the stuff that anybody would know, super simple dumb things.
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: And if you can quiz your like infants with yeah,
- 1:19:28Speaker 9: except for people like me, and then the game is well,
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: wait are they so drunk that they won't know the
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: answer to these otherwise easy questions.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: And if you can guess whether they know two times
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: out of three, you win.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: Eight seven, seven forty four Woody, as I mentioned, is
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: the number that you were calling to be our contestant.
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: And we're going to go to Uh what'd you say? See?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:19:44Speaker 13: Sammy's gonna shae Shae?
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Hey, what's up? Shay?
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Hey?
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 1:19:53Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: It's like hoy, all right, you're gonna play the d
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: u i Q. Now before we get to the questions
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: that count towards you winning a prize, We're gonna get
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: to know the drunk a little bit betterr and use
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: what we're here to kind of try to gauge how
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: with it or not with it? They are just how
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: ripped are they? Before you get to those questions? And
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: who is this person? Sea Bat?
- 1:20:10Speaker 9: It's Vicki and she has a philosophy behind her drinking
- 1:20:14Speaker 9: that I think many people will agree with.
- 1:20:16Speaker 23: A right, maybe I've been drinking tequila. Tequila has been
- 1:20:19Speaker 23: rocking my mother's world tonight.
- 1:20:21Speaker 20: Do you understand me any particular brand you enjoy?
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: Don Julio?
- 1:20:26Speaker 20: She is this I think Espanola don Julia would be
- 1:20:29Speaker 20: a gentleman? Am I wrong?
- 1:20:30Speaker 23: Oh my goodness, I don't even know about Espaniola. I
- 1:20:33Speaker 23: just know about English. I've been on tequila. So once
- 1:20:39Speaker 23: you drink, started drinking one thing, babe, ain't no flip flopping.
- 1:20:42Speaker 23: So if you're doing tequila tonight, it's tequila forever.
- 1:20:45Speaker 20: Because what happens if you switch it.
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: Up you would throw the You'd be sick as a dog.
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: Do you hear me? Yeah, I mean shout out to tequila. Yeah,
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: my go to. That's always the beer before the liquor.
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: Blah blah blah blah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: It's just if you're drinking to the point that you
- 1:20:59Speaker 9: have multiple things, that's usually just gonna be a lot.
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: And that's that's your main problem. So there's no real
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: truth to any of that. No stuff for like like
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: the darker the liquor any No, no, but like darker
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: liquor will have more of a hangout potentially.
- 1:21:14Speaker 9: There just a good wine, was it, tann Yes, that's
- 1:21:17Speaker 9: the thing. Like what are you super sensitive to Tannin's yep?
- 1:21:20Speaker 9: Myself and Greg. Actually I'm a little sensitive. I get
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: sleepy with with red wine.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: But I get sleepy with champagne. Champagne.
- 1:21:29Speaker 11: That's just it's just because it's I say, nothing is
- 1:21:31Speaker 11: worse than pukin of wine.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: Yeah, well because the acidity. Yeah, all right, well, Shay,
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: are you ready for the first question here? D y
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Q question number one? Yeah, let's do it. You gotta
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: get two out of three.
- 1:21:43Speaker 20: Right here we go, Eda Mamy is a preparation of
- 1:21:46Speaker 20: what food?
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: H I don't even that because there could be some
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: funny wrong answers. I don't want to give too much away.
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: There might need to be some kind of clarification. Yes,
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: if if they give me a specific wrong answer, I
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: will ask for clarification. Okay, I'll say no for Vicky,
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: Yes for Menace. He's eating his weight. I think, man, well,
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: not so much vegetables, but I mean going like going
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: to these places. Yeah, I'll say I'll say no for Menace. WHOA,
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: Yes for Sammy.
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: I won't say why, but I'm gonna say yes to
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: Sammy and Menace and noa VICKI.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: All right, Greg noa VICKI yes to Sammy. Totally confident
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: in that Menace. I think I'm gonna say no no.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: All right, Shaye, what do you think.
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: I gotta say no, no, all right, won't get it, Vicky.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: Question number one. That's gonna be your locked in guest
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: for that for Vicky, but for Menace and Sammy, here
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: we go.
- 1:22:50Speaker 20: Eda Mammy is a preparation of what food Menace I
- 1:22:54Speaker 20: just had last night?
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: But is it green beans? Sammy?
- 1:22:58Speaker 20: Bean?
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: What kind?
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: Very It's very specific, it is it is.
- 1:23:03Speaker 9: That's why I said you might need clarification like a.
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: I mean, I was thinking that they might say, they
- 1:23:12Speaker 9: might say Japanese food.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: Oh that I do buy it all the time. And
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: now that you say it in the moment, not green
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: being I mean they're green, they're green, and there are bean,
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: so you know what I think you're right? Oh yeah,
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: it's it's a bean that's green. Yeah, put some salt up.
- 1:23:36Speaker 10: All right?
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: So you said that Vicky won't get it. Let's see
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: if you're on the board with your first point here
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: on the d U I.
- 1:23:41Speaker 20: Q and a mommy is a preparation of what food?
- 1:23:44Speaker 23: Okay, so I will have to say like anything that
- 1:23:48Speaker 23: tastes reals.
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: Why did she think this could have been? All right? Well,
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: what would be a burger? You're on the you're on
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: the board. Maybe she was thinking mommy mommies. Oh yeah,
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: like you mommy burgers. Well, but like that they have
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: a certain you know, richness to them. I'd say, you
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: got one point, you know, only need one more point
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: now to win this round of the d uy Q.
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: Question number two in what country was Jackie chan Born?
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: I was reading a book about I can't recommend enough to.
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: I don't even want to try to answer it. I'll
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: sound racist. Shit, I don't know. I like, I don't,
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: I don't know. I can narrow it down. I can
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: narrow it down about the eighties action stars that I've read.
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: It's just fantastic, goes into his his his upbringing, Van
- 1:24:37Speaker 9: dam Schwarzenegger.
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: You know the answer. No, I think I have a
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: pretty logical do.
- 1:24:40Speaker 10: You know that?
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: I'm almost positive?
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: Almost, But see that's what I'm saying.
- 1:24:45Speaker 9: And if you get it wrong and you're yeah, that's
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: jerk and you don't deserve to have a salary.
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: Uh, I will say no for Vicky Triple now, yeah
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: triple Now.
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: I'm saying yes only to menace.
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: I mean guesses in the ballpark, but overall no, Right,
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: so double little bit your time. If you missed on
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: the continent out. All right, Shane, what do you think
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: yes or no? On Vicky, she's gonna get it. I
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: think though, no, all right.
- 1:25:16Speaker 20: Question number two d u i Q, In what country
- 1:25:20Speaker 20: was Jackie Chan born?
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: Sammy China? Menace?
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: I mean he spent most of his life and he
- 1:25:27Speaker 11: got famous in China, but I don't know.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: I still put China, China. You put what I put China?
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: You put China. Is that your final answer? Yeah? Okay,
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: well you guys are both correct. Correct, Okay. I knew
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: it was either going to be both right or both.
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: I do love the same though. Yeah, all right, let's
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: see Vicky. Question number two.
- 1:25:51Speaker 20: In what country was Jackie Chan born?
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Somewhere?
- 1:25:54Speaker 4: Lie South America? Either China, Japan? You are like that
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: South America. I will shake congratulations. You are the winner
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: here on the d U i.
- 1:26:08Speaker 9: Q, And I know people are gonna they're gonna text in, well, actually,
- 1:26:12Speaker 9: Hong Kong. It's a special administrative province of China. Therefore
- 1:26:17Speaker 9: either would which you would appreciate that kind of nitpicking. Well,
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: so he's actually British then not at the time, because
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: well maybe it wasn't.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: Yes, we've uh, we've talked to you now, like three
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: different times for different things. We've gotten four total words
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: out of that entire thing, but you did. You were
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: the winner here in the U i Q to That's
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: all right, all right, man, thank you. Hang on one second,
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: we'll get all your information. I've got one more question.
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: Question number three, d U i Q.
- 1:26:47Speaker 20: What are the lyrics to the song for the McDonald's
- 1:26:49Speaker 20: Big Mac?
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: Oh? What the what lyrics to the song for the
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: McDonald's Big Mac. I know the whole thing, And.
- 1:26:58Speaker 9: These two are both of the age with they would
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: have witnessed these commercials.
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I talk fastest to a kid who's fifteen to day,
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: they'd have no idea. I'm writing it down, but a
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: thirty plus year old should be well. Especially know for
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: both Sammy and Menace. No for triple now triple sweep it, hardcore,
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: triple sweep it. All right, we'll start with Menace is
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: ready to go, but Sammy is still writing.
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: Oh, we didn't have big Match in my household.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: When I don't eat that.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: You guys were fat.
- 1:27:35Speaker 9: We would buy one Big Mac and it was a
- 1:27:38Speaker 9: special occasion just because I'm fair ready, I guess all right?
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: Question number three.
- 1:27:45Speaker 20: Start d U I Q, what are the lyrics to
- 1:27:47Speaker 20: the song for the McDonald's Big Mac.
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: All I know is something like lettuce, pickles, special sauce,
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: all in a sesame seed bun.
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: Okay, that's very very it's very very close.
- 1:27:57Speaker 11: Menace legally correct, double patty, same.
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: Sesame street bun. A double patty and a sesame street bun.
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: I don't know stuffing in front.
- 1:28:08Speaker 11: I don't even know the lyrics to any songs.
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: Now? Is this the one they did where they put
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: the little records in the Sunday paper. It's like, that's
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: your thing, that's different. This is the one that was
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: on the commercial all the time. Yeah, this is the jing.
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: What I'm thinking is like Big macmcdeal to fish a hamburger,
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: golden fries regular or larger size chicken. They had one
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: called the chicken salad Oriental.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: You can't say that anymore.
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: Records if it's not about a person in the hotel.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: The oriental an oriental. But they wouldn't have something on
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: the menu called the chicken salad oriental? Should they should?
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: But they won't. Oriental only means eastward. I am not
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: arguing that point. I am not the political correct person
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: to argue that. But you know that a company like
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: McDonald's ain't gonna have something on there, the oriental anything.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: Do you guys know the big mach I couldn't.
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: But if you got it started, can I start?
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: Two all beef patty special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: on a sesame seed.
- 1:29:02Speaker 24: Bunny Special Sauce, lettuce cheese special sauce.
- 1:29:22Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: So the one I was talking about was like a
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: contest you'd win money, and it was a I mean
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: it's like a super paper thin uh record that they
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: put into the Sunday paper and everybody went and got
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: one and they played it and if the song played
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: entirely through without them screwing up the menu song, you
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: won a million dollars whatever it was, record paper what, Yeah,
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: they put it in the newspaper. It was like it
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: was like a really thin piece of vinyl. It was
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: so like a flimsy piece of violet.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it would weight if the needle wouldn't even let
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: it play sometimes Yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:54Speaker 17: Record good.
- 1:29:56Speaker 21: Today, we're going to learn the McDonald's and give a
- 1:29:59Speaker 21: listener out there to win a million dollars.
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: It was. It was a million dollars and it goes
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: into the big Macwi deal, big.
- 1:30:05Speaker 21: Mcdealt quarter pounder with che fish, Hamricker, staty golden pressures regular,
- 1:30:10Speaker 21: a large size of the salad ship for garden or
- 1:30:12Speaker 21: chicken salad Oriental, big big breakfast thing and puffing hot
- 1:30:14Speaker 21: hot kakes and sausage make a discus baking meg and cheese, sausage,
- 1:30:17Speaker 21: Dannish stewing, port Deserve, hot apple pies and Sunday Street
- 1:30:19Speaker 21: varieties of sausag confe conserstation chocolate chip cookies.
- 1:30:22Speaker 10: Had to drink the Coca.
- 1:30:22Speaker 21: Cola diet Coca Orange drink a streaking coffee be kept
- 1:30:25Speaker 21: too well, love that milk, auster one orange uice. I
- 1:30:26Speaker 21: love McDonald's good time bigties, and I get the solid
- 1:30:28Speaker 21: one for the group.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: Had to get through the whole thing. And if he did,
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: if he did, yeah and yeah, and if you made it,
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: if they made it through the whole thing, that's how
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: you won the million bucks. Bars, bars, bitting bars. Yeah,
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: he's better than he's better than Kendred, Oh, I mean,
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: maybe better than Drake anything. Well, thank you, uh sea bass.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Another thrilling round of the duy Q. We're gonna take
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: a quick break. We got more what he showed.
- 1:30:53Speaker 10: Next, hang on.
- 1:30:55Speaker 19: The Messages.
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: Show and got a couple of stories involving weird chrome.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: Weird police in Scotland they got to call by a
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: guy who was assaulting somebody. When they got there, it
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: just wasn't a normal assault. Apparently one man got into
- 1:31:12Speaker 4: this other guy, so to show him that he meant business,
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: he grabbed two seagulls like dual wield style and started
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: beating the other guy with the seagulls the car. That's
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: pretty bad ass. The good news is that the seagulls
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: they are okay. They got checked out, and so is
- 1:31:28Speaker 4: the guy that got beat with them. But they're probably traumatized,
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: but they're gonna be fine. They're gonna need to be
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: in therapy now. Well, apparently they weren't broken.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: I don't buy it.
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: All right, skeptical Greg, Yeah yeah, I mean, I'm just
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: gonna I understand the skepticism. But they did check them
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: out according to the article, don't worry. Yeah, yeah, they
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: they were checked out. I don't I don't know anything,
- 1:31:53Speaker 4: Like what kind of weird doctor did they go to?
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: You know that that's I would like to see that
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: x ray, I would like to.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: I would like to see the video of some guys
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: very much wielding two seagulls.
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: Weapons are jerks, and yeah, we're way too precious about it.
- 1:32:13Speaker 9: Every time, like every summer, there's somebody in the Jersey
- 1:32:15Speaker 9: at the Jersey Shore or wherever that kills one and
- 1:32:17Speaker 9: then the sky falls down on him because God forbid.
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: Stealing your friend. Literally, another weird crime story. And Antique
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: Mal greg.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: One of your favorites. I do love a good antique mall.
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: Antique Mal in Kansas has been having to deal with
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: a plant problem. Somebody keeps stealing them. It started when
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: their cameras picked up this woman who was stealing like
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: the entire planter, so they started zip tying them down,
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: but then the woman came back cut the zip ties professional,
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: so then they chained the planters down instead. Got the
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: woman came back and she just left behind the plant
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: or dug the plants.
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: Out and left.
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: How many plants does she need? The owner of the
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: mall is pissed because you know he's paying for these
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: plants out of pocket, he's caring for them on his own.
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: But you know, this woman just keeps coming back here.
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: He is on the news.
- 1:33:16Speaker 5: I really want to know why Flowers. I mean, there's
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: things in the world that people need, and I don't
- 1:33:23Speaker 5: think flowers is one of them. But you know, for her,
- 1:33:26Speaker 5: I guess it's something she just really wanted, that she
- 1:33:28Speaker 5: was desperate enough to come steal them and risk getting
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: in trouble.
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: For desperate enough. Yeah, she needs, you know, just like bread,
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: desperate enough. I don't know if i'd say, you know,
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: getting plants. You know, you're so desperate for plants. You
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: can't find this lady.
- 1:33:44Speaker 10: Yea.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: Hopefully nobody steals your rogue banana plant. Well, yeah, that's
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: the thing.
- 1:33:48Speaker 9: I know, as soon as I guess it's on the
- 1:33:50Speaker 9: way right now, my dwarf Cavendish banana tree.
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: Jeff, she says he wants to help you planting. He says,
- 1:33:55Speaker 4: got a post which I do need. I do need
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: a post hole digger. The thing is gonna see pictures
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: of it, But I can't do that because you know
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: some scofflaw. Yea, so it's gonna have to be undercover.
- 1:34:06Speaker 11: What's the street value on one of these banana trees
- 1:34:09Speaker 11: that expensive?
- 1:34:10Speaker 4: When I looked it up yesterday? Yeah, Well I'm getting
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: a pretty grown and a mature one, a male order
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: they call it what like.
- 1:34:21Speaker 9: So it's like one hundred something bucks low hundreds grown
- 1:34:24Speaker 9: and sexy, as they say.
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: You're investing in your neighborhood. It's almost twice the price
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: you can get like bana one that's not mature. Yeah,
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: you get like, you get that tiny, then you're gonna
- 1:34:33Speaker 4: wait like two three years for Yeah, who is that
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: kind of time?
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: Nobody?
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: And you know how he feels about time. Change is
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: a waste of time. Waste loose. Change is a waste
- 1:34:41Speaker 4: of time.
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: I couldn't be wrong. I want an avocado tree, but
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: apparently they take ten years to back.
- 1:34:45Speaker 9: Yeah, you really have to or three to five, even
- 1:34:48Speaker 9: if you get the grown and sexy versions.
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: Nobody got time for that. A second, what did you
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: think about the ride?
- 1:34:57Speaker 20: I've never been television floor.
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: Sometimes I don't watch the I don't.
- 1:35:04Speaker 14: Watch the news.
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: That gets me every time. So a pair of nuns
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: in Brazil all didn't get along. They were forced to
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: work together. They ended up getting pretty close. They both
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: quit the convent, went lesbo for each other and got there.
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: About clams back into the convent, fuzz bumping for Jesus
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: I got it all right, what is it? Bad? Habits hell?
- 1:35:35Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: Uh, Sea Bass has an update for us. You know,
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: he was gonna run for city council. I was gonna
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: clean the streets platform. Yeah, but I was, Oh, I
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: like the I.
- 1:35:51Speaker 9: Like the sport code. It was because we're on court
- 1:35:54Speaker 9: today and being doesn't.
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: Come into any larger size. My god, that is massive, Jack.
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: It's a box.
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: He wants to grow incause it was like Fat Samy
- 1:36:03Speaker 4: plumbing up.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: Well.
- 1:36:06Speaker 9: So I was gonna run for city council and to
- 1:36:07Speaker 9: do that you need five hundred signatures. So I employed
- 1:36:10Speaker 9: a signature gathering company, a company that claimed and apparently
- 1:36:13Speaker 9: had a track record to being able to do this.
- 1:36:15Speaker 9: They email me back said eight no problem, it will
- 1:36:17Speaker 9: take us a week, blah blah blah. You did pay
- 1:36:19Speaker 9: us and we'll do it. So I paid them and
- 1:36:21Speaker 9: then things kind of dragged along. It was a full
- 1:36:24Speaker 9: eleven days after I paid them before they even showed
- 1:36:26Speaker 9: up to collect the signature papers from me. But they
- 1:36:29Speaker 9: still had like eight ten days at that point, and
- 1:36:30Speaker 9: I said, okay, no problem. One thing led to another.
- 1:36:33Speaker 9: It's the day of the deadline and they say, oh,
- 1:36:36Speaker 9: we don't have your signatures what and they said, you
- 1:36:39Speaker 9: want to meet.
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: Us the city hall. I was like, nope, no reason,
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: it's because.
- 1:36:42Speaker 9: It's it's not like I can get four hundred and
- 1:36:44Speaker 9: eighty five signatures and pay a little No, it's five
- 1:36:46Speaker 9: hundred or nothing.
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: So I said, well that sucks.
- 1:36:49Speaker 9: I'm going to sue you because you didn't live up
- 1:36:52Speaker 9: to not only the contract, but your promises before the contract.
- 1:36:56Speaker 4: Not cheap, not cheap.
- 1:36:57Speaker 9: It was over over I'll go ahead say right now.
- 1:37:00Speaker 9: It was almost sixteen thousand dollars. Yeah, so that's thirty
- 1:37:08Speaker 9: something dollars per signature. Like I said, you should have
- 1:37:10Speaker 9: just paid Morgan and I we would have done well.
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: If some people just pay homeless people, then yeah, much
- 1:37:15Speaker 4: easier that expensive.
- 1:37:16Speaker 9: And that by the way, that's that's that's not out
- 1:37:19Speaker 9: of the that's middle of the road.
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: You wanted to be on the city council? That what
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: does that job pay?
- 1:37:25Speaker 9: This one would have paid two eleven thousand dollars okay
- 1:37:29Speaker 9: most benefits, Yeah, total, the total compensations over like two sixty's.
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: It's yeah.
- 1:37:35Speaker 9: This is the city council, which would have been another
- 1:37:37Speaker 9: one of my platforms had been elected.
- 1:37:39Speaker 4: We don't need to be paid this much.
- 1:37:41Speaker 9: Oh yeah, I'm sure they would have loved that, but
- 1:37:43Speaker 9: that still falls under small claims in the state in
- 1:37:46Speaker 9: which the claim was filed, right in which in which
- 1:37:49Speaker 9: they the business business operates. So I said, I'm gonna
- 1:37:52Speaker 9: sue you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you screwed me. You didn't
- 1:37:54Speaker 9: live up to the contract. Uh and uh and I
- 1:37:57Speaker 9: went and that just happened.
- 1:37:58Speaker 4: This week.
- 1:37:59Speaker 9: I had our day in zoom court. Oh it's so
- 1:38:02Speaker 9: much more convenient, it is, And so it's funny. I
- 1:38:04Speaker 9: go in there, they say, are you here the guy did?
- 1:38:06Speaker 9: The guy did show up boom. Well, yeah, it could
- 1:38:10Speaker 9: have been easy to get it. Well, actually, I'm kind
- 1:38:12Speaker 9: of glad he did because otherwise I'm just like, even
- 1:38:14Speaker 9: if I had won, which will.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: Be years long hunt for this right, who knows?
- 1:38:18Speaker 9: Because I found out in the research to file my
- 1:38:20Speaker 9: claim by my good friend, uh lawyer Grock, this company
- 1:38:24Speaker 9: in another state had been higher they'd been hired to
- 1:38:28Speaker 9: get the signatures. They gathered the correct number of signatures,
- 1:38:31Speaker 9: less than two percent were valid. Oh, so that was
- 1:38:34Speaker 9: I was thinking, like, oh, this person's just gone, like
- 1:38:37Speaker 9: he set these things up and he's dead. But he
- 1:38:39Speaker 9: showed up and they gave us something. They said, here,
- 1:38:41Speaker 9: we're gonna put you in a breakout room and you
- 1:38:43Speaker 9: can discuss a settlement. And he said, I'll give you
- 1:38:45Speaker 9: fifteen hundred.
- 1:38:46Speaker 6: So you're doing your own mediation, right, Okay, say both
- 1:38:49Speaker 6: of you at the same time. They try to see
- 1:38:51Speaker 6: if you can do that and not waste the judges time.
- 1:38:53Speaker 9: Wait, so just to you and just us, no no
- 1:38:55Speaker 9: arbiter or nothing. He said, well, I'm willing to offer
- 1:38:58Speaker 9: you fifteen hundred.
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: I said zero.
- 1:39:00Speaker 22: Bit.
- 1:39:00Speaker 4: By the way, during.
- 1:39:01Speaker 9: The the first day, after he screwed me on not
- 1:39:04Speaker 9: getting the signatures, he offered me three thousand.
- 1:39:07Speaker 4: Now wait, so you're already out the sixteen right.
- 1:39:11Speaker 9: He had offered me preliminarily three thousand, and then he
- 1:39:13Speaker 9: was inted that offer and that's that's that I decided
- 1:39:15Speaker 9: tossue him.
- 1:39:16Speaker 4: That's a question. What what does the paperwork say? Because
- 1:39:19Speaker 4: they promise for this money the service, they're gonna get
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: you X number of signatures. But when there's got to
- 1:39:25Speaker 4: be something there says if for whatever reason, we cannot
- 1:39:28Speaker 4: well refund you a pro rated amount essentially is what
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: it said. Uh huh, what what what would be the
- 1:39:33Speaker 4: incentive for them to get a pro rated amount. So
- 1:39:37Speaker 4: basically you can say, ah, we fell short because it's
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: just collect a certain amount of money and give the
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: rest for doing nothing. Exactly. To me, that's it's worthless
- 1:39:44Speaker 4: because it's all or nothing.
- 1:39:45Speaker 9: So that's not what That's not what my lawsuit hinged on,
- 1:39:48Speaker 9: because you raise a good point, Woody. My lawsuit hinged
- 1:39:50Speaker 9: on the verbiage in the contract that said we'll provide
- 1:39:53Speaker 9: you weekly updates and meetings.
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: Those did not.
- 1:39:55Speaker 9: Happen, so that that's a breach of contract. Now, so
- 1:39:59Speaker 9: I go in there, I say no, thank you to
- 1:40:01Speaker 9: the fifteen hundred offer. But go back in front of
- 1:40:03Speaker 9: the judge. The judge says, to have you do you
- 1:40:06Speaker 9: submit all your evidence to me see bass. The guy
- 1:40:08Speaker 9: says yes, he said, you samil your evidence to him.
- 1:40:11Speaker 9: I said, well, I filed it on the online filing
- 1:40:13Speaker 9: thing for He said, no, you have to email it
- 1:40:15Speaker 9: to him. Oh come on, well, he said, and because
- 1:40:18Speaker 9: of that, you cannot reference any of your evidence. What
- 1:40:22Speaker 9: so I So I said to the judge, Well, okay, judge,
- 1:40:25Speaker 9: how am I supposed to reference? So I can just
- 1:40:27Speaker 9: reference our conversations. I can't because he said, you can't.
- 1:40:30Speaker 9: You can't point to the contract, you can't point to
- 1:40:32Speaker 9: your emails.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: You can't point to because you hadn't emailed it to him.
- 1:40:35Speaker 4: Right, which I guess I missed that step somehow.
- 1:40:37Speaker 10: Is that the discovery phase or whatever?
- 1:40:39Speaker 4: This is a coming of GROC, because I'm sure, like
- 1:40:44Speaker 4: a like a real lawyer would have said, hey, be
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: sure that you have this, this, this, Let go to
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: close that system. Correct.
- 1:40:51Speaker 9: I only use GROC to write the complaint. I didn't
- 1:40:53Speaker 9: use it for the follow up stuff, which I should have.
- 1:40:55Speaker 9: So the judge said, I said, well, so what can
- 1:40:57Speaker 9: I say? And he said The judge said, well, I
- 1:40:58Speaker 9: can't offer you legal advice, but I'll let you know
- 1:41:00Speaker 9: if you say something you shouldn't.
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: Which actually worked out just fun.
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:41:04Speaker 9: So I just told the story as if I were
- 1:41:06Speaker 9: telling it to you guys, without pointing to any specific
- 1:41:08Speaker 9: dates or times.
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:41:10Speaker 9: And and the judge said okay. And then the guy
- 1:41:12Speaker 9: responded with, h okay, Well this is what we did.
- 1:41:15Speaker 9: And I'll give the judge credit because he nailed this
- 1:41:17Speaker 9: guy because the judge said okay, because basically what what
- 1:41:22Speaker 9: also saved me is his his evidence was basically my
- 1:41:24Speaker 9: evidence it was the contract.
- 1:41:25Speaker 4: It was our emails.
- 1:41:26Speaker 9: He basically at the same stud I did. But I
- 1:41:28Speaker 9: didn't realize that because at first.
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: Like oh, crap, crap.
- 1:41:32Speaker 9: So he's uh, and the judge said, okay, well did
- 1:41:35Speaker 9: you fulfill the terms of this contract? Show me the
- 1:41:37Speaker 9: people you hired? And he showed me that he had
- 1:41:39Speaker 9: this evidence showing like the number of hours people worked,
- 1:41:41Speaker 9: and he's like, man, you didn't you hired these people
- 1:41:45Speaker 9: kind of late. And the judge was kind of like
- 1:41:47Speaker 9: like Judge, Judy, like matter of fact, like, if you're
- 1:41:49Speaker 9: gonna get these things done for him and this this
- 1:41:51Speaker 9: short you got less than a month to do it,
- 1:41:52Speaker 9: and you.
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: Hired this amount of people.
- 1:41:54Speaker 9: And he's and then you they certain and some of
- 1:41:55Speaker 9: them dropped off, and he's like, so, what how did
- 1:41:57Speaker 9: you expect this to happen?
- 1:41:58Speaker 4: The guy was like uh.
- 1:42:00Speaker 9: And the guy looked like just some fat faced weeb,
- 1:42:03Speaker 9: but he was in a suit and tie, you know.
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: Oh nice.
- 1:42:05Speaker 9: He again he's he wants to be political operative and
- 1:42:08Speaker 9: so and the judge he's going through this. And the
- 1:42:10Speaker 9: judge actually helped me because he brought up the lead
- 1:42:12Speaker 9: guy who I met in person.
- 1:42:13Speaker 4: Very nice dude. Fan of Cartonnark's.
- 1:42:15Speaker 9: Unfortunately, so the lead guy who wast his like local representative,
- 1:42:19Speaker 9: he was a nice guy. He claimed to have worked
- 1:42:21Speaker 9: one hundred and sixty hours and I and the judge
- 1:42:25Speaker 9: brought that up. He's like, this guy worked on hundred
- 1:42:27Speaker 9: and then I went back because the judge doesn't know
- 1:42:28Speaker 9: everything I know, and because he left the guy that,
- 1:42:30Speaker 9: he goes back to me. He's like, do you have
- 1:42:31Speaker 9: anything to end with? And I said, well, thank you,
- 1:42:34Speaker 9: judge for bring up one hundred and sixty hour thing,
- 1:42:36Speaker 9: because again, he didn't come to me until eight days
- 1:42:40Speaker 9: before the deadline, so he worked one hundred and sixty
- 1:42:43Speaker 9: hours in eight days.
- 1:42:45Speaker 4: I don't know about that.
- 1:42:46Speaker 6: That math doesn't happen.
- 1:42:47Speaker 9: Even even if you give him like maybe he worked
- 1:42:49Speaker 9: ten hours administratively beforehand to get things ready whatever, that
- 1:42:52Speaker 9: still doesn't make sense.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: On his plate twenty hours a day.
- 1:42:56Speaker 9: Rightly dedicated to you and so and one point one
- 1:43:00Speaker 9: last thing the judge. The judge at one point he
- 1:43:02Speaker 9: asked like, so, did you give mister Davis his uh,
- 1:43:05Speaker 9: his regular check ins? And I shook my head no
- 1:43:06Speaker 9: because I know I was supposed to talk. And the
- 1:43:08Speaker 9: judge goes mister Davis, I do not need any shaking
- 1:43:10Speaker 9: yes or no whatsoever.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: I was like, yes, sir, thank you. So I got
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: the in my hands. The decision.
- 1:43:19Speaker 9: And the first line of the decisions says, the plaintiff
- 1:43:22Speaker 9: has not demonstrated in entitlement to relief and recovery and
- 1:43:24Speaker 9: recover zero.
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: What that box was not checked? Hesig can box. The
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: plaintiff is entitled to judgment and for a total of.
- 1:43:37Speaker 14: He could have said anything from zero to whatever.
- 1:43:51Speaker 19: Everybody and they stayed, where's the way this list issue,
- 1:44:00Speaker 19: which I had langage exact here does not take effect
- 1:44:05Speaker 19: until the end of the month. Because the defendant has
- 1:44:08Speaker 19: the option to take this district court.
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: He would have to hire a lawyer. Blah blah, blah
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: blah blah. So I don't know, we'll see. Well, that's
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: the thing.
- 1:44:16Speaker 9: I gotta wait till the end of the month, right
- 1:44:18Speaker 9: then what then I'll email the guy and then if
- 1:44:20Speaker 9: I hear nothing, then I gotta.
- 1:44:22Speaker 4: Go better have my money.
- 1:44:23Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, then I have to go through only
- 1:44:26Speaker 9: proper legal channels. Of course, breaking well that Greg, that
- 1:44:30Speaker 9: would be an illegal, unproper channel.
- 1:44:32Speaker 6: I love that you won everything without being able to
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: show a piece of evidence.
- 1:44:37Speaker 4: Yeah, well the thing is in our buddle.
- 1:44:40Speaker 9: Because as he's saying, oh, I got his evidence, I
- 1:44:42Speaker 9: can refer to his evidence. I said, well, actually, he
- 1:44:44Speaker 9: the blah blah blah, and this is his This isn't
- 1:44:46Speaker 9: his disturb it.
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: I saw you.
- 1:44:48Speaker 9: So yeah, the judge helps. Almost I almost crewed myself.
- 1:44:51Speaker 9: But I think the judge was a smart enough man
- 1:44:54Speaker 9: to see through this man's incompetence and lies. So hopefully
- 1:44:57Speaker 9: I have sixteen thousand dollars coming to me at some
- 1:44:59Speaker 9: point we'll seem as congratulations.
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:45:02Speaker 9: All I can say is suing works everybody. We should
- 1:45:05Speaker 9: everybody should be suing people because it works.
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: Guys, every time. Any time you know you were you
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: you were truly wronged.
- 1:45:14Speaker 9: Right the guy, the guy heshandled so clearly a scam, well,
- 1:45:18Speaker 9: I think he's I think he just doesn't know what
- 1:45:20Speaker 9: the hell he's doing.
- 1:45:21Speaker 4: He couldn't fulfilled right and and he but if he
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: was on the up and up, he would have just
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: returned the money. Well, you know what, this thing was
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: so sloppy and so messed up.
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: This is not how we operate here.
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: Let me give you the money back, and then that
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: would have gone even if you like, okay, like three
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: grand I'm saying like, you're bummed out you didn't get
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: what you thought you were going to get. But you
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: could be like, yeah, listen, man, it didn't work out
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: with this guy, but he was cool.
- 1:45:43Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: People have bad days. He made it right, sure, but
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: now it's like, no, dude, you would never go with
- 1:45:47Speaker 4: this guy. Here's why. And then he will also take
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: it all the way to court to try to fight
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: giving back what he should have given you in the
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: first place. Yeah.
- 1:45:54Speaker 9: Yeah, And now I'm not I'm still not going to
- 1:45:56Speaker 9: out him, not until I get my judgment and settlement.
- 1:45:58Speaker 9: I don't want to make my life any harder. I
- 1:46:00Speaker 9: got the judgment. Until the judgment is final at the
- 1:46:02Speaker 9: end of the night.
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: Yeah, gotcha, get that check? Gotcha? Well, congratulations again, start
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: suing Stewing. It'd be nice to stay suing everybody. See
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: it's funny, I say, councilman, Sea Bass, but for another day. Well,
- 1:46:22Speaker 4: SeaBASS is very successful so far in his litigation. Did
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: you see there was that the other story? I know
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: there's been talk about it, but it finally I guess
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: got filed or whatever. The United Airlines passenger who's suing
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: because they paid extra for a window seat, but the
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: seat was near a window, so it was just.
- 1:46:44Speaker 11: Like the wall of the Yeah, that just happened in
- 1:46:48Speaker 11: my recent flight. And the lady that was sitting in
- 1:46:50Speaker 11: that seat, she asked me like ten times if she
- 1:46:54Speaker 11: could see out the window.
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: Go for it, lady, I go for it. I don't care.
- 1:47:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: Well, so United had requested to have the lawsuit dismissed,
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: but this judge said, nah, so United Airlines saying that
- 1:47:08Speaker 4: the customer body windowless window seat. Now have you ever
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: heard of a windowless window seat?
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: Nope?
- 1:47:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think it's more about the location.
- 1:47:16Speaker 6: Yeah, understand, because they're calling it.
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: The windows aren't set. They'll like coordinate with every aisle.
- 1:47:23Speaker 4: They have a certain number of windows and depending on
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: how far because you have those extra leg room seats
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: you have. Yeah, yeah, so sometimes they're offset. It's like
- 1:47:32Speaker 4: shingles on a house, you know, they're kind of staggered
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: or whatever.
- 1:47:35Speaker 6: I think it's more about trying to fit more rosen
- 1:47:37Speaker 6: and squeeze more people.
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: Like for me, when I picked that seats, not so
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: I can look out the windows because I like to
- 1:47:41Speaker 4: lean up against the wall so I can doze off.
- 1:47:43Speaker 4: I sleep the best, but I have one of those seats.
- 1:47:46Speaker 11: My situation it was like kind of like an exit row,
- 1:47:49Speaker 11: and then so shoots in front of me.
- 1:47:51Speaker 4: The judge said. The passengers claims are plausible, as the
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: airline's booking page and boarding pass identify the seats as
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: window seats. So what they're gonna do is theyll probably
- 1:47:59Speaker 4: just change that. Yeah, just call it wall seat. Yeah,
- 1:48:02Speaker 4: wall seats seat? What's more appealing the wall? Those wall sounds.
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: I don't want a wall seat, a wall seat inside
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: a concerts obstructed view, cozy lean seat. Yeah. Well, there
- 1:48:21Speaker 4: was an udio on social media, you know, airline employee
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: was offered up a lot of money for one person
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: to give up their seat because it was a very
- 1:48:29Speaker 4: overbooked flight. I've seen some of them. Man, they're offering
- 1:48:33Speaker 4: thousands of dollars. I think if you, especially if it's
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: a business trip, I would just say I got I
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: would just say I got bumped.
- 1:48:40Speaker 6: How do you say no to that?
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: And how is the how's your company going to find out?
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: Yeah it's got bumped or you know something you know
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: with the flight? Yeah, one person did come up right
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: away and took the deal. I mean it was a
- 1:48:51Speaker 4: it was a bunch of money. Here's a here's a
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: little clip.
- 1:48:54Speaker 17: One thousand, two hundred, one.
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: Hundred and fifty. Oh yeah, nice, that's that's I've heard
- 1:49:03Speaker 4: that before. Yeah, so you're still going to go where
- 1:49:05Speaker 4: you're going. They'll put you on the next flight and
- 1:49:08Speaker 4: you get the twelve hundred buck credit, which is like
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: two first class tickets a lot of places, your credit for.
- 1:49:15Speaker 16: The pre create meeting, the cards.
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: Damn girl, visa card. Please thousand bucks.
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: So you leave a few hours later, So two.
- 1:49:27Speaker 4: Thousand, two hundred some bucks, leave a week later. You
- 1:49:30Speaker 4: just made like a patient. Yeah. Now there's sometimes where
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: it's like there's just no flexibility. You're going you have
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: a place to be, and you're on a schedule and
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: you only have so much time. But if you can
