- 0:00Speaker 1: The following is a world-famous Phil Henry Show encore presentation.
- 0:05Speaker 2: And now, from the world-famous Phil Henry Show studios at
- 0:08Speaker 2: the El Pacifico in Southern California, it's time once again, yes,
- 0:13Speaker 2: yet again, it's time for the Phil Henry Show.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Every day, unrelenting, day in and day out. It never ends. Oh, well,
- 0:24Speaker 3: I'm sorry to bother you. Well, How about taking a
- 0:27Speaker 3: couple of weeks off, Phil? Yeah, how about putting something
- 0:30Speaker 3: in here, Mr. Henry, like somebody... I don't know, man.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It could be a different kind.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Of a guy or something. What about that? What do
- 0:35Speaker 3: you mean a different kind of a guy? Why not
- 0:38Speaker 3: put a show in here, Phil, that... What's wrong.
- 0:40Speaker 1: With your throat?
- 0:41Speaker 3: I've got a little bit of laryngitis.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Oh, you had the same cold I had.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah. But why not put a show in here, Phil,
- 0:48Speaker 3: that is hosted by someone completely different, that is completely
- 0:53Speaker 3: different from the show that you do... Yeah, because it's just,
- 0:56Speaker 3: as Margaret said, unrelenting, day in and day out.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I get my phone, the show's downloaded, oh God,
- 1:03Speaker 1: oh God, here it is again. Well, I'm so sorry.
- 1:06Speaker 1: If you guys don't dig.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It, wait a minute, let me guess, we can quit?
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you can quit. You want to quit?
- 1:14Speaker 3: No. No, I don't want to quit.
- 1:15Speaker 1: You guys are talking about day in, day out, it's unrelenting,
- 1:18Speaker 1: there's the Phil Henry show, that's the idea.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean every day.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yes, and it ain't every day. Monday through Friday.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you do the classic. You do the classic, and
- 1:28Speaker 3: then there's Elcott the next step. It's every day.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Phil.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Oh, give me a break. You guys are putting me on, right?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yes, we are. Yeah, we are. We just wanted to
- 1:38Speaker 3: start the show different. Okay, thank you for that. God,
- 1:42Speaker 3: at least you could say it was a little bit funny.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Wasn't it slightly funny?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:47Speaker 3: God, it sounded like you were going to cry. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 3: I guess.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yes, it was funny.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Okay. Okay.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Frank and Steve.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Frank is here. Steve Bozell is here. Come on in, Frank.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Just go ahead.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, kick it off, Frank.
- 2:00Speaker 3: What's up?
- 2:01Speaker 1: All right. Well, hello, everyone. I'm Frank Gray. And hello, Steve.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And how are you doing, Steve?
- 2:06Speaker 3: I'm fine.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Steve Bozell is here. And Phil Henry.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And hi, honey. Hi.
- 2:12Speaker 1: And General, how are you doing? And Bud?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Hi.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I'm doing fine.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm here today. because it was in September of 2021,
- 2:24Speaker 1: almost a two-year anniversary, September 28th, 2021, when I told
- 2:30Speaker 1: Steve Boesel here that the guy who has the highest
- 2:35Speaker 1: score in golf doesn't win. I received a series of
- 2:40Speaker 1: tests and emails from Mr. Boesel as recently as three
- 2:46Speaker 1: weeks ago, questioning, are you sure? Are you sure that
- 2:51Speaker 1: the guy who, and I asked Mr. Bozell, have you
- 2:55Speaker 1: bothered to watch a game of golf? And it responded, no,
- 2:57Speaker 1: it hadn't. And so it's here today. What do you
- 3:02Speaker 1: need to find out? I'm here to find out when
- 3:06Speaker 1: you play golf and you don't have the higher, you
- 3:10Speaker 1: got the low, lower score.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I just need to understand how I watch golf on TV.
- 3:18Speaker 1: You've watched the big tournaments.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I watched a couple, yeah.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And I see where it says a guy has a
- 3:23Speaker 1: negative three or a negative five, and the man on
- 3:29Speaker 1: the announcer part says, yeah, this guy's doing good.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Look at him.
- 3:33Speaker 1: He's got a negative. He doesn't have as high a
- 3:36Speaker 1: score as another guy. And you understand I said that
- 3:39Speaker 1: means it hasn't taken it as many strokes.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Now, what do you mean by stroke?
- 3:45Speaker 1: I mean the swing of the golf club.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Take it easy, Frank. Well, I've been dealing with this
- 3:50Speaker 1: chowderhead for four years.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Look, I agreed to come on here.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You wanted to come.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Don't agree.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You wanted to come on here.
- 3:57Speaker 3: You did request a time, Mr. Buzzle. And my name
- 4:00Speaker 3: is Bozell. God. Sorry, you did request a time. I did, yes.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Okay, so don't say that I've dragged you on the
- 4:07Speaker 1: air here. I came on here in protest because I
- 4:10Speaker 1: wanted to work this out.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Well, I know you guys were on the phone together, Mr. Bozell, correct? Yes,
- 4:15Speaker 3: that is. But please call me Steve, everyone.
- 4:17Speaker 1: All right, Steve.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Steve? Hey, Steve. All right, Steve, you were on the
- 4:20Speaker 3: phone with Frank.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I was on the phone with Frank, and it was
- 4:24Speaker 1: bothering me. Hey, can I ask a question, Steve?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Why is this coming up now? It's coming up now
- 4:30Speaker 1: because April, my daughter, April Jr., wanted to go play
- 4:34Speaker 1: miniature golf, and I hadn't played no miniature golf probably
- 4:38Speaker 1: maybe in my whole life.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I don't know. You're kidding me.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You've never played miniature golf.
- 4:42Speaker 3: All right, see this? Look at this.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Margaret, where are you?
- 4:44Speaker 3: Right here. Right next to you. Oh.
- 4:48Speaker 1: It says it's never played miniature golf. Why haven't you
- 4:50Speaker 1: played miniature golf?
- 4:51Speaker 3: I didn't know that it was some kind of a requirement. Oh,
- 4:53Speaker 3: my God. I just have never played miniature golf.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Everybody in the world has played miniature golf, especially with kids.
- 4:59Speaker 1: My kids, they've played miniature golf with their mom, and
- 5:02Speaker 1: they played miniature golf with their grandparents, and they played
- 5:06Speaker 1: miniature golf. But it just so happens that I've never
- 5:08Speaker 1: played miniature golf until last week when I went out
- 5:11Speaker 1: with April Jr. So it was just you and your daughter?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah, my daughter and I.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And I want to make it up to her because
- 5:17Speaker 1: on the one-man show, she heard that I was going
- 5:19Speaker 1: to call Steve April Jr. And I explained to her
- 5:21Speaker 1: I was going to call the firstborn April Jr. It
- 5:23Speaker 1: turned out it was a boy. And she said, how
- 5:27Speaker 1: could you possibly do that, Daddy? And I said, I
- 5:31Speaker 1: made a mistake. And she looked at me like I
- 5:34Speaker 1: was something that grew in fertilizer in a hothouse. What
- 5:37Speaker 1: is that?
- 5:38Speaker 3: A mushroom? Yeah. She looked at me like I was
- 5:40Speaker 3: a mushroom.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Oh, well, what's everybody staring at me for? Just go
- 5:44Speaker 3: ahead with your story.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So I went out and I played miniature golf with
- 5:48Speaker 1: April Jr. And on the first hole, she got it
- 5:52Speaker 1: in on it. She got her in on a two
- 5:55Speaker 1: and I got it in on a three. And you
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't understand why your daughter beat you on that hole. I,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I said to her, look, daddy knocked, took three knocks
- 6:06Speaker 1: of the ball. And she said to me, my own
- 6:08Speaker 1: daughter said to me, you gotta be putting me on Einstein.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You can't understand what your daughter called you Einstein.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Well, listen, Frank, what's your name?
- 6:15Speaker 3: Steve.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Steve, I can't fault your daughter at all. It probably
- 6:20Speaker 1: was trying to get through to you the best way
- 6:21Speaker 1: it knew how. And you referring to, you can call
- 6:24Speaker 1: me it, but calling my daughter it? I don't know
- 6:26Speaker 1: what it's, what's it talking about? I explained this to you, Steve.
- 6:29Speaker 4: All right.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Now, you played miniature golf with your daughter. It beat
- 6:34Speaker 1: you on the first hole. How many strokes did it take?
- 6:37Speaker 3: She got it in in like three.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Did you take additional strokes on purpose?
- 6:42Speaker 3: No, I mean, I was trying as hard as I
- 6:45Speaker 3: could to get it in the hole, but I realized
- 6:47Speaker 3: at the time I had seven strokes. Hey, Steve, this
- 6:51Speaker 3: is Phil, as you can see. Yeah, I guess you're
- 6:54Speaker 3: sitting right there talking to me. Okay.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I find it hard to believe that you could be
- 7:00Speaker 1: so dumb.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I'm sorry, Steve. I agree. I agree. Yeah, me too.
- 7:04Speaker 1: That's what I've been trying to tell you, Bozell. All
- 7:07Speaker 1: of you people are saying I'm dumb. Yes, yes, yes.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Steve, this is not difficult to get. And for you
- 7:14Speaker 3: to play miniature golf with your own daughter and not
- 7:16Speaker 3: understanding it, something's going on. What do you mean something's
- 7:20Speaker 3: going on?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Why did you drag me back to this studio today
- 7:23Speaker 1: to talk about you not understanding how it is in golf,
- 7:26Speaker 1: the guy with the low score wins and the guy
- 7:28Speaker 1: with a high score? I want to know what it is,
- 7:32Speaker 1: what it is, as they used to say in the,
- 7:34Speaker 1: The Rhythm and Blues record business. Hey, what it is?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Well, no.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Well, what is it, or what it is, that makes
- 7:43Speaker 1: you dumber than a bag full of hammerheads? That's I
- 7:46Speaker 1: gotta know.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Okay. I gotta get back into show business.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Holy Christ.
- 7:51Speaker 3: That's it? What are you talking about?
- 7:53Speaker 1: I just, I miss being in the spotlight. I miss
- 7:57Speaker 1: being on the Phil Henry show. I have you on
- 8:01Speaker 1: the show a lot. Yeah, but you have me on
- 8:02Speaker 1: the show as a guest. And it's always about something
- 8:05Speaker 1: that I did wrong or something that I boned up,
- 8:07Speaker 1: something I just boneheaded my way into. Hey, look, Bozell,
- 8:12Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Don't you do a stand-up
- 8:14Speaker 1: comedy act? Yeah, what about your stand-up comedy routine? My
- 8:17Speaker 1: stand-up comedy routine, I do it at the Kitty Carousel
- 8:21Speaker 1: there in the men's club. I tried getting on stage
- 8:23Speaker 1: down there at Mayhem, that new comedy club in Pomona.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 1: And I got up and I did a set for
- 8:31Speaker 1: the owner, and... The guy says to me, Hey, great job, Steve.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And when we, when something opens up, we're sure to
- 8:37Speaker 1: get you. Oh, the guy was blowing you off.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Pretty much.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And so you're lying. This is your way of getting
- 8:45Speaker 1: on the air.
- 8:45Speaker 3: I'm not lying about anything.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Well, your way of getting back on the air is saying,
- 8:49Speaker 1: Hey man, explain to me how they score golf again.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And you dragged me in here. You dragged me off
- 8:56Speaker 1: of my sofa, out of my easy chair. When I'm watching, uh, uh,
- 9:00Speaker 1: bridges at Ramagan on YouTube. Or I'm watching one of
- 9:04Speaker 1: these great movies.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I don't know what that is.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm watching on YouTube a number of different movies, and
- 9:09Speaker 1: you drag me off of that sofa. I've got to
- 9:11Speaker 1: get into a pair of pants, shoes, a vest and
- 9:14Speaker 1: a tie, and come down here.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Nobody told you to put a vest on.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Well, I wear a vest everywhere I go.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Frank wears a vest a lot. Okay.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And I come down here to sit here and engage
- 9:25Speaker 1: with your dumb ass. All right, come on, Frank.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Hey, wait a minute.
- 9:28Speaker 1: No, I'm not.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Just don't, don't.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I got this coming. engage with your dumb ass about
- 9:33Speaker 1: how it is they score golf because you simply miss
- 9:36Speaker 1: the spotlight. Is that what, Steve, what do you want?
- 9:39Speaker 1: What do you think I can do for you? I'm
- 9:40Speaker 1: just thinking that maybe I haven't hosted my own show lately.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You used to let me host the Steve Bozell Experience.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how many people we've had
- 9:49Speaker 1: hosting the show lately. I heard you have, you had
- 9:51Speaker 1: Ted Bell last night and he had on Jay Santos
- 9:54Speaker 1: and Jay Santos is part of a round table.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Is that what you want?
- 9:57Speaker 1: That's what you want, huh?
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, wait a minute.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You want Ted Bell to interview you in a roundtable
- 10:02Speaker 1: discussion of what? What kind of food? What kind of exercise?
- 10:06Speaker 1: What kind of different physical regimen goes into making you
- 10:09Speaker 1: a dumbass? Is that it?
- 10:10Speaker 3: Hey, you know something? Wait a minute.
- 10:12Speaker 1: No, no.
- 10:12Speaker 3: You know something? That is uncalled for, Mr. Grant.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm here.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I'm here.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Talking to you about how they score golf and all
- 10:19Speaker 1: you want to do.
- 10:20Speaker 3: All you really want to do, Steve, is just be
- 10:22Speaker 3: on the air here.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I'd like it, Mr. Henry, if I could do my
- 10:26Speaker 1: own show on a regular basis, just like Ms. Dooley
- 10:28Speaker 1: did and Mr. Elcott does. That would be Bugs Wilcott.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Okay, okay.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Steve, I haven't had a regular podcast other than Elcott
- 10:35Speaker 1: the Next Step. We haven't had a regular podcast since Bobby.
- 10:39Speaker 3: And if he's going to do a regular podcast, you're
- 10:41Speaker 3: putting me in there. Margaret, I thought you were... You
- 10:43Speaker 3: thought I was what?
- 10:44Speaker 1: I thought you were kind of, you know, retired off
- 10:46Speaker 1: of the show here, doing that stuff, and you wanted
- 10:48Speaker 1: to stay home with the... I know you're going to
- 10:50Speaker 1: stay home with our son. What is it talking about?
- 10:52Speaker 3: I'm just saying, if you're giving out slots on the
- 10:55Speaker 3: Phil Henry Show website, me, I, Margaret Gray... Yeah, I
- 10:59Speaker 3: have to agree. Margaret Gray comes first. Well, I.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You know, if that's the case, if you only got
- 11:03Speaker 1: room for one. Here's what I'm saying. I'm not just
- 11:07Speaker 1: giving them out in terms of seniority. We want to
- 11:09Speaker 1: make sure they're entertaining. And all you had to do, Steve,
- 11:12Speaker 1: is come to me and say, hey, Mr. Henry, I'd
- 11:14Speaker 1: like to be on the Phil Henry Show platform instead
- 11:19Speaker 1: of coming in here with some phony baloney thing about
- 11:21Speaker 1: how do they score.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Golf?
- 11:24Speaker 1: It asked me, hey, Mr. Gray, how do they? It's
- 11:27Speaker 1: been bothering me for three years. How do they score
- 11:30Speaker 1: golf again?
- 11:30Speaker 3: Well, if truth be told, I still don't get it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: You gotta be kidding me, man. You still don't understand? No,
- 11:35Speaker 3: not really, but I don't care as much as I
- 11:37Speaker 3: care about having a show.
- 11:40Speaker 1: They score golf the number of strokes it takes to
- 11:44Speaker 1: get the ball in the hole. The lower number, the
- 11:46Speaker 1: fewer number, the more good, the gooder.
- 11:50Speaker 3: The better you are as a golfer.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yes, the better you are as a golfer. So when
- 11:54Speaker 1: a guy gets the ball, when you're playing miniature golf
- 11:57Speaker 1: with your daughter, April Jr., is that its name?
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yes, that's... Okay.
- 12:02Speaker 1: And your little girl stands there, and the love of
- 12:06Speaker 1: your life, your little girl, and it stands over the ball,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and it hits the ball, and it got it in,
- 12:11Speaker 1: let's say, in two strokes, and it took you seven.
- 12:15Speaker 3: That's correct, yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 1: That means it's better than you, because it only took
- 12:19Speaker 1: it two strokes.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Man, I can't feature that. You're an idiot. You are
- 12:24Speaker 3: an idiot. Why would anybody want to give you a show?
- 12:27Speaker 1: I understand, yes, that it takes two strokes for her
- 12:30Speaker 1: to get it in the hole. You are really, Bozell,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, in all my years, in this
- 12:36Speaker 1: world of ours, I've never met a guy with a
- 12:38Speaker 1: full vacuum between the ears like you. You have a full,
- 12:42Speaker 1: there's nothing there. It's a vacuum. No one, if someone
- 12:44Speaker 1: shrunk down to the size of like a peanut and
- 12:47Speaker 1: went inside your head, they'd suffocate.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Why are you saying that?
- 12:50Speaker 1: There's no air in there. There's nothing in there. Okay,
- 12:53Speaker 1: we got the point. Steve, let's talk behind scenes about
- 12:57Speaker 1: I just, I'm.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Sorry, Mr. Ernst, to do this.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I know it doesn't make any sense. I just need
- 13:02Speaker 1: to do something besides the construction business and being on
- 13:05Speaker 1: stage the other night with you. You liked it, huh?
- 13:07Speaker 3: It was, it was. You thought it was exciting.
- 13:10Speaker 1: It was very exciting, even though I was made to
- 13:12Speaker 1: look like a baboon's hind end, so.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you did too. Okay, I don't care.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Let's talk about it. Instead of dragging Frank in here
- 13:19Speaker 1: about the way they score golf, Bozell, now get this
- 13:23Speaker 1: and get it good. The guy who takes the fewest
- 13:26Speaker 1: number of strokes to get the ball in the hole
- 13:29Speaker 1: is the guy what wins, okay? God, you talk almost
- 13:32Speaker 1: like a dumbass. Talking to you over the course of
- 13:35Speaker 1: two years about this cat box stuff is driving me nuts.
- 13:39Speaker 3: All right, Frank, calm down.
- 13:41Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Let's talk. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset people.
- 13:46Speaker 1: A little disingenuous man coming in here.
- 13:48Speaker 3: I apologize, Frank. Oh, man.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You know that my balls hurt. Why would that be?
- 13:53Speaker 3: I don't know, Frank.
- 13:54Speaker 1: My... I have to go home and put ice on
- 13:55Speaker 1: my balls. They had nothing to do with this, but that,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. Okay, coming up next, we
- 14:01Speaker 1: have Dr. Jim Sadler and Vernon Dozier on the psychological
- 14:05Speaker 1: effects of these hurricanes, the one that's hitting Florida. You know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: my girl Jackie is down there, and she and I
- 14:11Speaker 1: have been talking about the preparation she's making, and Ryan's
- 14:14Speaker 1: down there along with Stassi, and, you know, people that
- 14:16Speaker 1: we know. And this is not her first rodeo when
- 14:20Speaker 1: it comes to hurricanes. and there's a lot of folks
- 14:23Speaker 1: that we know in the state of Florida who are
- 14:25Speaker 1: going through this. So we're going to talk to Dr.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Jim Sadler about the psychological import of these things and
- 14:33Speaker 1: see if we can learn a little bit more. I
- 14:35Speaker 1: think it's due to make landfall.
- 14:36Speaker 3: It's supposed to make landfall tonight.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Tonight, so, and it ain't, you know, the last I heard,
- 14:41Speaker 1: it's like a Cat 4, maybe even a Cat 5,
- 14:43Speaker 1: but we'll find out. We'll be right back here, World
- 14:44Speaker 1: Famous Phil Henry Show. The Phil Henry Show is brought
- 14:47Speaker 1: to you by BetterHelp. Can you think of a time
- 14:49Speaker 1: recently when you didn't feel you could be yourself. You know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: you felt like you were hiding behind a mask. You
- 14:55Speaker 1: felt like you were kind of biting your tongue. You
- 14:58Speaker 1: didn't want to say the things that you needed to
- 15:01Speaker 1: say or some of the things you felt like saying.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Or maybe you're the kind of person you're afraid to
- 15:06Speaker 1: speak your mind because you're afraid you're going to put
- 15:07Speaker 1: it the wrong way. That's a legitimate fear. You want
- 15:10Speaker 1: to have the right kind of social skills, the right
- 15:12Speaker 1: kind of communication skills, so that when you are communicating
- 15:15Speaker 1: with people, you're doing it artfully.
- 15:16Speaker 3: You're doing it in a way where people are going
- 15:17Speaker 3: to want to listen to you. How about that?
- 15:19Speaker 1: How about if I put it that way? You'd like
- 15:21Speaker 1: to be able to communicate with people in a way
- 15:24Speaker 1: so that when they hear you speaking, hey, I'd like
- 15:26Speaker 1: to hear more from this guy so that you don't
- 15:29Speaker 1: sound like an abrasive slob. You know what I mean?
- 15:32Speaker 1: This is all a part of the process of self-discovery.
- 15:35Speaker 1: This is all a part of the process of sort
- 15:37Speaker 1: of bringing yourself to the very best possible level you can,
- 15:42Speaker 1: making you the best possible person you can be. And
- 15:46Speaker 1: that has to do with getting yourself into good therapy,
- 15:49Speaker 1: talking to the right people, and asking and answering the
- 15:53Speaker 1: questions for yourself. You know, a therapist, a good therapist
- 15:56Speaker 1: is just sort of a guide. You're the one that
- 15:59Speaker 1: is finding your way to the man, to the woman
- 16:02Speaker 1: that you want to be. And one of those things
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'm sure you'd like to do is to be able
- 16:06Speaker 1: to communicate better with people so that when they're talking
- 16:08Speaker 1: to you, it's a pleasure and they want to hear
- 16:10Speaker 1: more about what you have to say because you can
- 16:12Speaker 1: communicate clearly, artfully, and in a way that people will
- 16:16Speaker 1: want to hear you. That's what good therapy can do
- 16:19Speaker 1: for you, okay? How do I know? Well, I got
- 16:23Speaker 1: into therapy back in my 30s when things were just
- 16:25Speaker 1: going south for me in my life. I didn't know
- 16:27Speaker 1: where I was going to go. I had all this talent,
- 16:29Speaker 1: so I thought, but I didn't have any clue as
- 16:31Speaker 1: to how to use it. I didn't know what I
- 16:33Speaker 1: wanted to do with my career. I was a big
- 16:36Speaker 1: fat zero when it came to my personal relationships. Then
- 16:39Speaker 1: I got into therapy and I started to investigate all
- 16:43Speaker 1: of these areas that were locked up and I opened
- 16:46Speaker 1: them up for myself and my life changed. And I
- 16:50Speaker 1: found a level of success I never thought I could have.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So I'm recommending this for you. Good therapy. And let
- 16:55Speaker 1: me just start you off with some good people here.

- 18:09Speaker 3: World-famous Phil Henry Show, the El Pacifico here in Southern California. Dr.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Jim Sandler joining me. on our newsmaker line, Dr. Sadler
- 18:17Speaker 3: in San Diego. And I thought I'd have Dr.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Sadler on to talk about the psychological effects of storms, weather,
- 18:27Speaker 1: where you're kept inside, where you don't really have the
- 18:30Speaker 1: opportunity to get out and kind of clear your mind.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You're locked up inside the house. There's nowhere to go,
- 18:41Speaker 1: nowhere to run. There's a claustrophobia. It's all happening to people...
- 18:44Speaker 1: Right now in Florida, I thought, Dr. Sal, I know
- 18:47Speaker 1: we're in California. We don't really get hurricanes here. But
- 18:50Speaker 1: that claustrophobic feeling where you can't get out and get
- 18:55Speaker 1: stuff done, where you've got to sit and sort of
- 18:57Speaker 1: wait for this big event.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Well, you know, Phil, waiting for a big event can
- 19:02Speaker 4: take many shapes and many sizes. And first of all,
- 19:06Speaker 4: I want to thank you for allowing me on the air.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's great to have you, Doc.
- 19:10Speaker 4: And Margaret.
- 19:11Speaker 3: It's wonderful to see you, Dr. Sadler. Yeah, it's great
- 19:14Speaker 3: to see you. Hi, Dr. Sadler.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Hello, everyone. It's important, I think, for people to understand
- 19:22Speaker 4: that a hurricane is in many ways like you, like me.
- 19:28Speaker 4: A hurricane is no different from who we are. A hurricane,
- 19:32Speaker 4: you were just mentioning, Phil, people wanting to be themselves,
- 19:36Speaker 4: wanting to be the very best that they can be.
- 19:40Speaker 4: A hurricane wants to be the very best that it
- 19:43Speaker 4: can be. And if you try to stop it, if
- 19:46Speaker 4: you try to make a hurricane do what a hurricane...
- 19:50Speaker 4: doesn't want to do, then it'll literally lift you up
- 19:54Speaker 4: and throw you right into the street. Okay?
- 19:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 19:57Speaker 1: But I mean, a hurricane's a very destructive thing.
- 19:59Speaker 4: It absolutely is. It is. That's why a force of
- 20:03Speaker 4: nature is not an intelligent being. It is a force
- 20:07Speaker 4: of nature that can be very destructive, and we don't
- 20:10Speaker 4: want it to pick us up and throw us into
- 20:12Speaker 4: the street.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Are you saying if we get picked up by a
- 20:14Speaker 1: hurricane and thrown into the street, that we have, excuse
- 20:18Speaker 1: my language, pissed it off?
- 20:19Speaker 4: Well, yeah, Bud, that's a good way of putting it.
- 20:22Speaker 4: We have pissed the hurricane off by trying to stop it,
- 20:26Speaker 4: and I wouldn't even say pissed it off. What we're
- 20:27Speaker 4: doing is we're trying to stop the forces of a
- 20:30Speaker 4: hurricane and make it do something that it wouldn't normally do.
- 20:35Speaker 4: We want its winds to calm down. We want it
- 20:37Speaker 4: to just, you know, go away. And the hurricane is
- 20:40Speaker 4: there to take you and everything you own and, you know,
- 20:44Speaker 4: as we said, throw it into the street. I can
- 20:46Speaker 4: tell you, in my life, and I guess I'm probably
- 20:50Speaker 4: admitting a little bit too much, but in my life,
- 20:53Speaker 4: I'm a lot like a hurricane. Probably a lot of
- 20:55Speaker 4: the folks listening right now are a lot like a hurricane.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Because if you... It's hard for me to say this, Phil.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 21:01Speaker 4: If you piss me off, I'll pick you up and
- 21:05Speaker 4: throw you in the street if people piss me off.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Well, that's a heck of a way of jumping into
- 21:11Speaker 3: the conversation, Doc. You're sounding very hostile.
- 21:13Speaker 4: No, no, no. I'm not being hostile. I'm saying this
- 21:17Speaker 4: is how we all are. Wouldn't you, Phil? Wouldn't you, Bud?
- 21:21Speaker 4: Wouldn't you, Margaret? Wouldn't you, General Shaw?
- 21:23Speaker 1: I mean, if I got angry enough, I might want
- 21:25Speaker 1: to physically manhandle somebody. That would take a lot of
- 21:28Speaker 1: anger and it would take a whole lot of I'd
- 21:30Speaker 1: have to have a really good reason for putting my
- 21:31Speaker 1: hands on somebody.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Well, that's you. That's the difference between you and me.
- 21:36Speaker 4: And that's the difference, Phil, by the way, between you, me,
- 21:39Speaker 4: and a hurricane. Me and a hurricane, or I, me
- 21:45Speaker 4: and a hurricane, I forget how to say it.
- 21:47Speaker 3: You and a hurricane.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Yeah, me and a hurricane are similar in that the
- 21:52Speaker 4: hurricane wants to be a hurricane, and it'll pick you
- 21:55Speaker 4: up and throw you right into the street. When you say, no, Mr. Hurricane, no,
- 21:59Speaker 4: you can't.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Are we really saying that to a hurricane? Are we
- 22:03Speaker 1: just kind of protecting ourselves from it?
- 22:04Speaker 4: Well, by protecting yourself from a hurricane, you're saying to
- 22:07Speaker 4: the hurricane, no, you don't get to be what you
- 22:10Speaker 4: ought to be, okay? And when someone says to me, Dr.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Jim Sadler, you don't get to be what you want
- 22:17Speaker 4: to be, my instinct is to grab them by the
- 22:20Speaker 4: lapels of their jacket, whatever their sports jacket, whatever they wear,
- 22:23Speaker 4: I don't know, and lift them up and toss them
- 22:26Speaker 4: through a door out into the street.
- 22:28Speaker 1: All right, we have Coach Vernon Dozier on the line.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Coach Dozier went to your seminar last month on this
- 22:35Speaker 1: very thing, controlling one's temper, on this very thing, which
- 22:39Speaker 1: is using the forces within. I did a series.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Of lectures there. It's Crips, yeah. And Coach Dozier was there.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Coach Dozier. Come on in, Coach. And, Coach, you were there, huh?
- 22:49Speaker 1: I was definitely there.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Okay, and what did you take? So you were there
- 22:53Speaker 4: for my lectures on finding the powers of motivation.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I was there because I had read, I know
- 22:59Speaker 1: you'd been on the Phil Henry show, and I saw
- 23:00Speaker 1: that you had.
- 23:02Speaker 4: What are you doing up at Henry's studio in Ventura?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Because my wife and I had dinner in Santa Barbara,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and Mr. Henry invited me to stop by.
- 23:09Speaker 4: All right.
- 23:11Speaker 1: What's the problem?
- 23:12Speaker 4: I don't know. It just seems suspicious.
- 23:15Speaker 1: There's nothing suspicious about it.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Are you here to tell me What?
- 23:20Speaker 1: I simply wanted to say, Dr. Sadler, that I heard
- 23:24Speaker 1: you say that you want to throw, you know, during
- 23:28Speaker 1: that lecture, you said you want to pick up a
- 23:30Speaker 1: guy and throw him in the street. That's how angry
- 23:33Speaker 1: you get. But you didn't put it like a hurricane.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Well, I don't know what you mean. I didn't put
- 23:37Speaker 4: it like a hurricane.
- 23:37Speaker 1: You didn't say, like a hurricane, I want to pick
- 23:39Speaker 1: a guy up and throw him in the street. You
- 23:40Speaker 1: just said some people, and I'm quoting it directly. My wife, Mindy,
- 23:45Speaker 1: is here.
- 23:46Speaker 4: You know, that's the other thing about this guy. Our
- 23:48Speaker 4: wives have the same name.
- 23:49Speaker 1: My wife is Mindy.
- 23:50Speaker 4: That's the name of my wife.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Wait a minute.
- 23:54Speaker 4: My wife is Mandy. I'm sorry.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Right.
- 23:56Speaker 1: My wife is Mandy.
- 23:58Speaker 4: What's your wife's name?
- 23:59Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Don't say anything. Your wife, Coach Dozier, is what?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Is what? What's your wife's name?
- 24:05Speaker 1: My wife's name is Mandy.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Mandy.
- 24:08Speaker 1: No, I said Mindy.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 24:10Speaker 4: My wife's name is Mandy.
- 24:12Speaker 3: All right.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Well, that's my wife's name.
- 24:14Speaker 3: If you guys... This is the other thing, Phil. I
- 24:16Speaker 3: don't want... I'll tell you what. I'm going to pick
- 24:18Speaker 3: somebody up and throw them in the street.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You're not talking to me, are you?
- 24:21Speaker 3: I'm just telling you. Knock it off.
- 24:23Speaker 1: We're not going to go down this road, okay?
- 24:25Speaker 3: Guys, you have covered this before with this Mindy Mandy thing.
- 24:28Speaker 4: My wife is not Mindy Mandy. My wife's name is Mandy.
- 24:31Speaker 4: My wife's name is Mandy.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I don't care what your wife's name is. Coach Dozier,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I don't care. Let's move on now, okay?
- 24:38Speaker 3: Fine.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I'm just saying, I went out to dinner with my
- 24:40Speaker 1: wife tonight, and we were coming through.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Mr.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Henry asked me to stop by and talk to you
- 24:45Speaker 1: about having seen your lecture.
- 24:46Speaker 4: All right. I'm sorry, Coach. I'm glad you came to
- 24:49Speaker 4: the lecture. The whole point of that lecture was finding
- 24:52Speaker 4: the power within. And I'm here talking on Mr. Henry's
- 24:56Speaker 4: show tonight about the power of a hurricane and finding
- 24:59Speaker 4: the power of the hurricane. And like a hurricane, I
- 25:04Speaker 4: have found myself, and I say this with great honesty
- 25:07Speaker 4: to you, Coach, and everybody listening, and look, I lift weights.
- 25:11Speaker 4: I lift weights. I'm into body sculpting. I lift.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Yeah, we know that you do that.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Well, oh, is that? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to
- 25:19Speaker 4: bore you or anything.
- 25:20Speaker 3: No, but you've been out on your front lawn, oiled up,
- 25:23Speaker 3: lifting weights.
- 25:23Speaker 1: You've told us about it.
- 25:25Speaker 4: I don't think I said I would. Well, I guess
- 25:27Speaker 4: I was.
- 25:27Speaker 3: You did. You said you oiled up, went out on
- 25:30Speaker 3: your front lawn in a Speedo.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Right, you know, but I'm not out there. Well, you
- 25:35Speaker 4: guys are trying to make it sound like I'm getting
- 25:37Speaker 4: out of the Speedo and showing my thing.
- 25:40Speaker 1: No, I don't want to talk about this. Let's get
- 25:42Speaker 1: it off of your weightlifting and get back to the
- 25:44Speaker 1: question of your lecture. And we're going to talk about
- 25:47Speaker 1: the hurricane. I'd like to talk about the hurricane because
- 25:49Speaker 1: I had heard your lecture. And you were talking about
- 25:52Speaker 1: power and trying to control power. And I thought it
- 25:55Speaker 1: was very interesting.
- 25:56Speaker 4: All right. So, but now here you are on the show.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I said that I want to, that like the hurricane.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I heard what you said at the lecture. You said
- 26:04Speaker 1: like a hurricane, sometimes you want to pick someone up
- 26:07Speaker 1: and throw them into the street.
- 26:08Speaker 4: That is correct, yes.
- 26:09Speaker 3: All right.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And I knew that you were frustrated, but I thought
- 26:12Speaker 1: it was fascinating to the point where we can marshal
- 26:14Speaker 1: this kind of power and use it for good.
- 26:16Speaker 4: All right, well, here's my point. Thank you very much, Coach.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I didn't mean to have words with you. No, I know.
- 26:22Speaker 4: So here's what I'm saying. I go through life, and
- 26:27Speaker 4: I have my challenges like anybody else. And I get
- 26:31Speaker 4: home at the end of the day, and I'm frustrated.
- 26:34Speaker 4: I'm angry. And I want to grab the first guy
- 26:38Speaker 4: that I see, not my wife, not anybody, but I
- 26:41Speaker 4: want to take the first guy I see, put him
- 26:43Speaker 4: under my arm like he's a football, and just.
- 26:47Speaker 1: And just what?
- 26:48Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Here's where I... What do you want to do? It's
- 26:53Speaker 1: Coach Dozier. What do you want to do, Doc?
- 26:55Speaker 4: I want to just take him and.
- 26:57Speaker 1: You want to put a man under your arm like
- 26:58Speaker 1: a football?
- 26:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And what, ram his head into a wall?
- 27:03Speaker 4: God, listen to you. Ram his head into a wall.
- 27:06Speaker 4: I'm not trying to make a joke out of it.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I'm not making a joke out of it either. Is
- 27:10Speaker 1: that what you want to do?
- 27:11Speaker 4: I want to just pick a guy up like a football,
- 27:14Speaker 4: and I want to throw him into the street.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Was your lecture at the Scripps, did this have to
- 27:19Speaker 1: do with anger management or something?
- 27:20Speaker 4: This had to do with marshalling the power within, Coach Dozier.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he was talking about marshalling the power within, and
- 27:27Speaker 1: it was a good lecture. And I would just say
- 27:29Speaker 1: to you, Dr. Sadler, why not marshal the power within
- 27:32Speaker 1: you if you had a bad day, marshal the power within,
- 27:37Speaker 1: and pick something up and throw it in the street,
- 27:40Speaker 1: but not a man.
- 27:41Speaker 4: Well, that's easier said than done.
- 27:44Speaker 3: So, in other words, you want to do physical harm
- 27:46Speaker 3: to somebody.
- 27:47Speaker 4: No, I just want, for the first time in my life,
- 27:51Speaker 4: for somebody to understand what it is I'm talking about.
- 27:54Speaker 4: When I do a lecture and I say, marshal the
- 27:56Speaker 4: strength within, look at the hurricane down there, look at Milton,
- 27:59Speaker 4: Milton the Hurricane. It's almost like it's a dolphin or something.
- 28:04Speaker 4: There's Flipper the dolphin and there's Milton the hurricane. Why
- 28:07Speaker 4: can't we have that kind of benign view of a
- 28:09Speaker 4: hurricane like we have of the dolphin? And so what
- 28:13Speaker 4: I want to do when I am frustrated and people
- 28:16Speaker 4: won't listen to me and they think I sound like
- 28:18Speaker 4: some kind of a freak.
- 28:21Speaker 3: So people are still giving you a hard time about
- 28:23Speaker 3: missing half your tongue?
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yeah, they are. I should never have told people that
- 28:27Speaker 4: I lost half my tongue in a Lion taming accident.
- 28:29Speaker 4: God almighty.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Well, I have to say it is kind of funny.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead, Doc.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Go ahead with what?
- 28:38Speaker 1: Go ahead with what you're going to say about.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, you're right. I just want to say that
- 28:43Speaker 4: like Hurricane Milton, I want to grab someone, I don't
- 28:47Speaker 4: care who, man. Man, I want to do it.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Every time we have you on the show now, Dr.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Sadler, you're having a life crisis.
- 28:54Speaker 4: No, that's not true.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Yes, it is absolutely true. Every time we're on the show,
- 28:58Speaker 3: all of a sudden, you melt down. You have some
- 29:02Speaker 3: anger management issue. You do, Dr. Sadler. I think it's time,
- 29:06Speaker 3: as we've often said to a great many guests, it's
- 29:08Speaker 3: time for you to step away.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you should step away from your business and take
- 29:12Speaker 1: some time off.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Oh, sure. I take time off. I want to be there.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Just like Mr. Bozell, I want to be where the
- 29:19Speaker 4: action is, Mr. Henry.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Are you asking me for your own show, too?
- 29:22Speaker 3: No.
- 29:23Speaker 4: I'm not. God, did you hear this?
- 29:25Speaker 3: Mandy, he's going, are you asking me for your own show, too?
- 29:28Speaker 4: That was my wife, okay? That's how funny she thinks
- 29:31Speaker 4: it is.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Well, that sure isn't my wife, Mindy.
- 29:33Speaker 4: No, it's my wife, Mindy.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Okay, stop right there.
- 29:37Speaker 3: So, Dr.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Sadler, Coach Dozier, I think you're the guy I should
- 29:40Speaker 1: ask the question of. What do you need to learn
- 29:42Speaker 1: more from Dr.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Sadler?
- 29:43Speaker 1: You're here. You saw his lecture. You found it fascinating.
- 29:46Speaker 3: You're here.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Now you're hearing him say that he's so frustrated with
- 29:50Speaker 1: his life that he just wants to pick someone up
- 29:52Speaker 1: and throw him in the street like a hurricane. I
- 29:55Speaker 1: will just say this. I'm shocked. I thought you had
- 29:58Speaker 1: a better control over your emotional life and your direction
- 30:02Speaker 1: in life, Doc, than to sit here and sound like
- 30:07Speaker 1: you're going to wet your pants or something, you know?
- 30:11Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, sure. Typical of a football coach to start
- 30:14Speaker 4: to impugn my manhood.
- 30:16Speaker 1: No, I'm not trying to do that at all, but
- 30:17Speaker 1: you're sounding so frustrated. I wish I could throw someone
- 30:19Speaker 1: in the street just like a hurricane.
- 30:21Speaker 4: That's right, and that's what my lecture should have been about.
- 30:24Speaker 1: All right, so you're frustrated with your life. You don't...
- 30:30Speaker 1: I don't want to deal with it, you know.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Oh, he doesn't want to deal with it. I gave
- 30:34Speaker 4: you the... I gave you pearls of wisdom at when
- 30:37Speaker 4: I did my lecture, okay? And I'm telling you, when
- 30:40Speaker 4: I see this Hurricane Milton and what it gets to do.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And you wish you could do what a hurricane.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You want to do what the hurricane can do.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I wish... As a man, I don't have the same
- 30:49Speaker 4: rights as a hurricane. And I've got every reason in
- 30:53Speaker 4: the world, every reason in the world to pick some
- 30:56Speaker 4: guy up and throw him right through a window. Oh, God,
- 31:00Speaker 4: listen to this. Maybe it's Henry. He's going... You hear
- 31:05Speaker 4: my wife? Yeah.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Yes, I do.
- 31:08Speaker 4: You know what? I don't know why I'm wasting my
- 31:09Speaker 4: time with you.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Mr.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Henry.
- 31:12Speaker 3: It's not your fault.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 31:14Speaker 3: We should never have stopped it.
- 31:15Speaker 1: It's not your fault, Coach.
- 31:17Speaker 3: It's not your fault, Coach. Dr. Sadler obviously is going
- 31:20Speaker 3: through a life crisis. I really did get a lot
- 31:22Speaker 3: out of his lecture, and I'm sorry he's having a
- 31:25Speaker 3: hard time.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Everything with him is.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Dr.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Sadler is a guy who has done a lot of
- 31:29Speaker 1: good for a lot of people, but he's this close.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Yeah, he's this close to just violently melting down. I
- 31:34Speaker 3: think the man's violent, yes.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Well, I, you know, he talks like he's some kind
- 31:39Speaker 3: of a nebbish. I'm sure I'd have no problem dealing
- 31:43Speaker 3: with him, you know. Yeah, Dr.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Sadler. Who? Dr.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Sadler and Lynn.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Oh, is that right? You wouldn't have any problem dealing?
- 31:50Speaker 4: So if I picked you up and I threw you
- 31:52Speaker 4: through a door.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Not going to happen.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Dr.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Sadler, why don't you get a good night's sleep? Better yet,
- 31:57Speaker 1: have yourself a drink, then go get a good night's sleep.
- 32:00Speaker 4: If I have a drink, I'm going to pick something
- 32:03Speaker 4: up and throw it through a door.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Is your wife there?
- 32:06Speaker 4: Mandy, can you make me some dinner? Yeah, she'll make
- 32:12Speaker 4: me dinner.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Get something to eat.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Boy.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Boy. Phil really preps his shows well, doesn't he? I
- 32:23Speaker 3: had no idea.
- 32:23Speaker 1: You had no idea about what? How sloppy this show
- 32:27Speaker 1: could get. Hey, hey, wait a second. It got so sloppy,
- 32:30Speaker 1: we brought you on the air to talk to Dr.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Sandler about a lecture that you saw that coincided very
- 32:35Speaker 1: neatly with him trying to talk psychologically to people who
- 32:38Speaker 1: were feeling scared by the hurricane.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 3: And what you got was this guy and some half-mad,
- 32:45Speaker 3: cackling little elf in the background.
- 32:47Speaker 1: That's his wife?
- 32:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's his wife, man.
- 32:50Speaker 1: His wife, you guys have a wife with the same name.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Okay, you guys. All right, thanks a lot, coach. Thank you, coach.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Come on, Mandy, they're kicking us out.
