- 0:04Speaker 2: This is the Reader Panalty Show.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Reader Panney Show.
- 0:10Speaker 4: Coming up tonight, Dan Andrews set to reap the benefits
- 0:13Speaker 4: of his Beijing tryst. Nikita will be here to cover
- 0:17Speaker 4: the day's top headlines. Claims that the Labor Party is
- 0:21Speaker 4: importing voters on mass. Senator Alex Antique will join me
- 0:25Speaker 4: short meetings, Thus that the Great Josh Hammer will have
- 0:28Speaker 4: the latest from the us SO. Later in the hour,
- 0:31Speaker 4: Kinsey Schofield will reveal the harrowing ordeal Queen Camilla suffered
- 0:35Speaker 4: as a young woman and left. He's losing It features
- 0:39Speaker 4: an old favorite with more wild.
- 0:42Speaker 5: Conspiracy hears he had a do blow bandage on one minute,
- 0:46Speaker 5: no bandage the next. We can't get a medical record
- 0:48Speaker 5: from this alleged assassination.
- 0:50Speaker 6: He was supporsy shot.
- 0:51Speaker 4: But first Former Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has been branded
- 0:54Speaker 4: a useful idiot and a traitor. After attending a Chinese
- 0:58Speaker 4: military parade, President Jijimping declared China's rise unstoppable while surrounded
- 1:05Speaker 4: by dictators and allies, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and
- 1:10Speaker 4: North Koreas Kim Jong Un Andrews sat amongst the leaders
- 1:14Speaker 4: of the Access of Evil, watching the Chinese Communist Party
- 1:17Speaker 4: show off its military might. The man dubbed Dicttor Dan
- 1:22Speaker 4: seemed at home in Beijing. Now, the current Victorian primages
- 1:26Speaker 4: Into Alan has refused to condemn Dan Andrews's attendance. In fact,
- 1:30Speaker 4: she actually supports it. She said it was good for
- 1:33Speaker 4: Victoria that he is held in such high regard by
- 1:36Speaker 4: the people of China, and that Victoria is an old
- 1:40Speaker 4: friend of China, and these connections are so.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Valuable for our state.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Joining me now for more on this is Menzi's Research Center.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Senior fellow Nick Kaita. Nick, We've had widespread condemnation of
- 1:54Speaker 4: Dan Andrews, even from some labor heavyweights, but not from
- 1:59Speaker 4: the current premier and not from the Prime Minister.
- 2:03Speaker 1: No, and I'd like to hear it from the current
- 2:04Speaker 1: Premier because I gather she's going to China shortly on
- 2:08Speaker 1: a business venture. We need some transparency here, don't we.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, we can carry on about what
- 2:13Speaker 1: an idiot and how disrespectful Andrews was for going, but
- 2:17Speaker 1: there needs to be some transparency around who paid his fare.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Which part of the plane he flew in, where he's
- 2:23Speaker 1: staying in Beijing, who's paying for all that, and what
- 2:26Speaker 1: his private business arrangements are that could impact on the
- 2:30Speaker 1: people of Victoria. Because this is the stands at the moment.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's just it just strikes me as all too convenient.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Well, I would see the PM has been quite happy
- 2:41Speaker 4: with what's happened, because though there's plenty of condemnation, they
- 2:45Speaker 4: know that the Chinese community would probably be very happy
- 2:49Speaker 4: about this and that voting block and I am generalizing here,
- 2:54Speaker 4: don't like to see criticism of China, and when they
- 2:57Speaker 4: see someone like Dad Andrews pay respect to the leadership
- 3:03Speaker 4: of the Chinese Communist Party attend a military parade, I
- 3:07Speaker 4: think the Prime Minister can see some political capitual in that.
- 3:09Speaker 1: He thinks he can. But I don't think that the
- 3:11Speaker 1: entire Chinese community backs this. I mean, of course they're patriotic,
- 3:15Speaker 1: they love their country, but they don't love their government.
- 3:17Speaker 1: They don't love this particular government, and I hear from
- 3:20Speaker 1: enough of them to know that, although of course they're
- 3:22Speaker 1: very fearful to even speak about it.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Nick, you mentioned personal Gain and the Australian Financial Review
- 3:28Speaker 4: reports on the personal boost Dan Andrews attendance will earn
- 3:32Speaker 4: the form of Victorian premiere. They report it took ten
- 3:36Speaker 4: seconds for Andrews to stride down the red carpet and
- 3:39Speaker 4: shake Jijiping's hand, but it will open doors for him
- 3:43Speaker 4: in China for years to come. That lengthy handshake Nick
- 3:48Speaker 4: could be a gold mine for Dan Andrews.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and look, he's trading on the fact that he
- 3:53Speaker 1: was premiere for a long time, right, that's the only
- 3:55Speaker 1: reason man's got any status whatsoever. So he's using that
- 3:58Speaker 1: to pocket pocket and feather his own ness with business
- 4:02Speaker 1: deals and we don't know about them, and we should
- 4:05Speaker 1: know about them. If Victoria's State, the Government of Victoria
- 4:07Speaker 1: is going to be involved, I think it's just it
- 4:10Speaker 1: just stinks. Really, it stinks from top to bottom. But
- 4:13Speaker 1: as usual with Dan Andrews, transparency is not really his thing,
- 4:17Speaker 1: is it.
- 4:18Speaker 3: No, it never has been.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Now staying in Victoria, the state has been branded the
- 4:23Speaker 4: car theft capital of the country, with insurance claims surging
- 4:27Speaker 4: sixty percent in a year. New data from Insurance Statistics
- 4:31Speaker 4: Australia reveals the staggering rise and car theft claims in
- 4:35Speaker 4: the state and Nick Victoria was the only state that
- 4:39Speaker 4: had a surge, and a massive surge at that every
- 4:42Speaker 4: other state had a drop in car theft claims.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's a wonder, isn't that. I mean, you've got to
- 4:48Speaker 1: asking yourself why do these terrible things keep happening in Victoria.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Could it be anything to do with the attitude of
- 4:53Speaker 1: the government and the police force?
- 4:54Speaker 7: Perhaps?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Could criminals be looking at the soft treatment that they're
- 4:58Speaker 1: given by the police force and take exploiting it. Surely not,
- 5:01Speaker 1: but that happens right. I mean, I was driving down
- 5:05Speaker 1: to Melbourne last year and suddenly a car which would
- 5:07Speaker 1: have been doing it lee easily one hundred and sixty
- 5:10Speaker 1: k sped past me in the outside lane. I thought, well,
- 5:13Speaker 1: there's a police car down there. You get caught, But
- 5:15Speaker 1: of course the police car is forbidden from chasing, so
- 5:18Speaker 1: you get that, you get chaos.
- 5:20Speaker 3: There's plenty of chaos and Victoria.
- 5:22Speaker 4: But moving on to national matters, Liberal Senator Jane Hume
- 5:27Speaker 4: has come under five from conservative lobby group Advance over
- 5:31Speaker 4: her support for net zero, and she's now posted a
- 5:34Speaker 4: response to that criticism on social media.
- 5:38Speaker 8: In all seriousness, in this job, there will always be
- 5:41Speaker 8: a lobby group that doesn't agree with you, and this
- 5:43Speaker 8: time it's advanced and that's okay, it's healthy to have debate.
- 5:47Speaker 3: But I'm not a member of the Advance Party. I'm
- 5:50Speaker 3: a member of the Liberal Party.
- 5:52Speaker 8: I agree with my former colleague, now, the Secretary General
- 5:55Speaker 8: of the OECD, Mattis Corman. He says that Australia needs
- 5:58Speaker 8: to move on. The question now is how do we
- 6:01Speaker 8: get to a lower mission's future for the least cost
- 6:03Speaker 8: businesses and households. Supporting net zero does not mean I
- 6:07Speaker 8: support what Anthony Albanezi and Chris Bowen are doing to
- 6:10Speaker 8: this country. That's ideological and economic sabotage. There are other ways.
- 6:16Speaker 8: I want my party to adopt a policy that lowers
- 6:18Speaker 8: emissions by twenty fifty, provides energy abundance starting with gas,
- 6:22Speaker 8: protects family budgets and keeps the lights on, all the
- 6:26Speaker 8: while eliminating dependence on taxpayer funded subsidies for proven technologies.
- 6:31Speaker 8: These things are not mutually exclusive.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Nick, She says, this lady is not for turning.
- 6:37Speaker 4: But Jane Hume is no Margaret Thatcher and I would
- 6:40Speaker 4: argue she just part of the reason why the Liberals
- 6:42Speaker 4: are unelectable right now. Coming out and supporting net zero.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I thought the party didn't have a position on this
- 6:48Speaker 4: policy at the moment. They're under review like everything else.
- 6:53Speaker 9: Well, it can't be under review for much longer.
- 6:55Speaker 1: They have to have a policy, obviously, and that's the
- 6:58Speaker 1: problem at the moment, it's just hanging there. They need
- 7:00Speaker 1: to do whatever reviewing they need to do in double
- 7:02Speaker 1: quick time and come up with a sensible position. And
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm sure you and I.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Agree that as a sensible position that was stated there.
- 7:09Speaker 4: And I played it in full because I didn't want
- 7:12Speaker 4: to be unfair to Jane Hume.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I wanted to play in.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Full what she herself put out on her social media pages.
- 7:19Speaker 3: And I can't see that winning elections.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I wonder who she asked whether this was a good
- 7:25Speaker 1: thing before we did it, because I think she could
- 7:27Speaker 1: have asked ten people in the coalition and they would
- 7:29Speaker 1: have said, no, don't do it. Why throw attention to it.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. It's a it's a big feather
- 7:34Speaker 1: in the cap for advance that she goes to all
- 7:37Speaker 1: this trouble to respond to this, and I think she
- 7:39Speaker 1: would have been better not doing so. I understand there
- 7:41Speaker 1: are different sits in the party over this, But they're
- 7:43Speaker 1: going to have to come eventually to the position that
- 7:45Speaker 1: they're going to scrap zero twenty fifty. Whether it's now
- 7:48Speaker 1: or three years time, inevitably they'll get there.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Well, they absolutely have to scrap it if they actually
- 7:54Speaker 4: are interested in forming government at some point. And what's
- 7:57Speaker 4: it going to look like when they do that, when
- 7:59Speaker 4: they abandoned net zero and you know, you've got a
- 8:02Speaker 4: high profile senator who's just come out in.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Support of it days or perhaps weeks earlier.
- 8:09Speaker 4: If they take that long to announce a position, how
- 8:13Speaker 4: divided is the party room on this issue?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Well, clearly very divided, because you've got people speaking out
- 8:19Speaker 1: on both sides. And Jane Hume, let's not forget, was
- 8:23Speaker 1: dropped from the front bench team by the current leader.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I do not quote sure because ideologically they seem to
- 8:31Speaker 3: be aligned.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And she's also very talented performer. I think you can
- 8:34Speaker 1: see from there she's a good media performer.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Yeah, just the substance of what she says that's troubling.
- 8:39Speaker 4: We had Andrew Hasty on Sky and You saying that
- 8:43Speaker 4: he believes the majority of the party room wants to
- 8:46Speaker 4: abandon net zero if there was a vote that it
- 8:49Speaker 4: would go. Do you have any inkling of what that
- 8:53Speaker 4: split is? Are we talking fifty five forty five? Are
- 8:56Speaker 4: they that divided? Or is there just the normal state
- 9:00Speaker 4: of affairs where you've got a few loud voices of
- 9:03Speaker 4: these smaller liberals who are clinging on for dear life.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I haven't done the numbers, but there are a very
- 9:07Speaker 1: large number of people in there who want to abandon
- 9:10Speaker 1: net zero. I think for a lot of them it's
- 9:12Speaker 1: working out how you can do it, because having taken
- 9:15Speaker 1: that position under Scott Morrison, they now have to basically
- 9:20Speaker 1: turn around and say.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Why it is wrong.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I don't think that's hard. Incidentally, you've only got to
- 9:23Speaker 1: look at what Chris Bowen is doing and to say, well,
- 9:26Speaker 1: we thought it was a good idea at the time,
- 9:27Speaker 1: but clearly it's not. I mean, Chris Bowen is demonstrating
- 9:30Speaker 1: daily why twenty net zero twenty fifty won't work and
- 9:34Speaker 1: his crazy idea from the point of view of our economy,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and we.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Only have to look at countries around the world, so
- 9:40Speaker 4: we don't even have to look at our own experience,
- 9:42Speaker 4: which is we've got some experience now with what it
- 9:45Speaker 4: has done to pricing and the pressure on businesses and households.
- 9:50Speaker 4: But you only have to look at what's happened across
- 9:52Speaker 4: a number of countries in Europe to see why this
- 9:55Speaker 4: would be a disastrous plan. It's a very very easy
- 9:58Speaker 4: policy to abandon. And let's not forget what They embraced
- 10:01Speaker 4: net zero at twenty twenty one and since then they've
- 10:04Speaker 4: lost two elections in landslides.
- 10:07Speaker 3: You know, if you want to win.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Elections, let it go now before you go, Nick, popular
- 10:11Speaker 4: bath bomb retailer, I'm sure you're a fan of Lush.
- 10:15Speaker 4: They shut down all of their UK shops in a
- 10:18Speaker 4: day of solidarity for Gaza, putting up posters calling on
- 10:22Speaker 4: Israel to stop starving Gaza in all their shop fronts.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Nick I for one, would.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Be grateful if these shops are also closed in Australia
- 10:30Speaker 4: because I don't know if you've ever walked past one
- 10:32Speaker 4: of their stores.
- 10:33Speaker 3: The stench is unbelievable. It should be delightful.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Because it's supposed to be all soap sput it's a weird,
- 10:40Speaker 4: weird smell. What do you make of this activism?
- 10:42Speaker 3: Can we actually say at least they're putting their money
- 10:46Speaker 3: where their mouth is. It's not just empty posturing.
- 10:49Speaker 4: They are doing something even if you don't agree with
- 10:52Speaker 4: their position.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I've never shopped there. I wish I had because then
- 10:55Speaker 1: I could announce, So I'm going to boycott it. It
- 10:57Speaker 1: wouldn't be much right now. Look, I think it's extraordinary
- 11:01Speaker 1: what they're doing. But the point is it's all virtue signal?
- 11:05Speaker 1: Is it nothing else? I mean, what effect is this
- 11:08Speaker 1: going to have on the ground in Gaza. Are people
- 11:10Speaker 1: going to sort of emerge and the rubble in their
- 11:12Speaker 1: house and say, oh, have you heard the good news
- 11:15Speaker 1: Lush is closed selling the stuff today around benefit?
- 11:19Speaker 4: Well, you know what I think, maybe me saying that
- 11:22Speaker 4: is showing a bit of substance.
- 11:23Speaker 10: Yeat.
- 11:23Speaker 4: It's probably just a PR exercise because it's been reported
- 11:28Speaker 4: on widely. They're getting headlines around the world for this stance,
- 11:31Speaker 4: so perhaps it's just a PR move, some cheap marketing.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Nickatia, thank you for your time tonight. Joining me now
- 11:40Speaker 3: is a liberal senator Alex Antique. Alex, let's start.
- 11:43Speaker 4: With the flag fuor senators just into Nampersuper Price and
- 11:48Speaker 4: Pauline Hanson wrap themselves in our national flag in the Senate.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Before being told to remove them. After the Green's objected.
- 11:57Speaker 11: It's beyond comprehension. But the burning of our national flag
- 12:02Speaker 11: is not a criminal offense.
- 12:04Speaker 7: I asked for a ruling please on whether the senator
- 12:10Speaker 7: is who's wrapped in the national flag at the moment,
- 12:14Speaker 7: is controverting the standing order that prevents props.
- 12:17Speaker 11: You can wear a kiffa in here. Perhaps you should
- 12:19Speaker 11: remove that article from you whenever you walk through these chambers,
- 12:22Speaker 11: snark all you like. It's revolting.
- 12:25Speaker 12: For one hundred and twenty four years, since nineteen oh one,
- 12:28Speaker 12: that flag has been flying, and yet on this special
- 12:31Speaker 12: day it was actually tonight by the Greens.
- 12:36Speaker 11: I remind you of the ruling.
- 12:38Speaker 13: The Deputy President arrived that so it asked you to
- 12:42Speaker 13: take the flag off.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Alex, I love your thoughts on this funeral. Is wearing
- 12:48Speaker 4: the Australian flag wrapped around you a prop.
- 12:54Speaker 10: Well read out look? I mean, I think probably in
- 12:57Speaker 10: the strictest definition of the rules. But one thing I
- 13:00Speaker 10: would say about this is it's instructive to me how
- 13:04Speaker 10: visceral a reaction the Greens have to the Australian flag
- 13:08Speaker 10: in circumstances where I mean they would be as a
- 13:10Speaker 10: collective of the greatest users of stickers on the back
- 13:15Speaker 10: of laptops, you know, items of clothing sometimes T shirts,
- 13:21Speaker 10: which are all definitely prop So look, I just I
- 13:24Speaker 10: think more of the reaction to it was the thing
- 13:26Speaker 10: that alerted me. And I would say this as well.
- 13:29Speaker 10: The only flag which should be in the Senate Chamber
- 13:32Speaker 10: is the Australian flag. At the moment we have six
- 13:35Speaker 10: flags flying, two Australian flags and then an Aboriginal torres
- 13:38Speaker 10: straight island of flags, none of which I have a
- 13:40Speaker 10: problem with. But this is the Australian Senate. It is
- 13:43Speaker 10: the Senate chamber in the country of Australia and the
- 13:45Speaker 10: Australian flag is the only flag which should be in
- 13:49Speaker 10: that chamber.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Now, this isn't the only controversy just into Nambujimper Price
- 13:53Speaker 4: has been involved in this week. According to the nine Papers,
- 13:56Speaker 4: she has walked back comments she made claiming that the
- 13:59Speaker 4: federal government and is bringing in specific groups of migrants
- 14:02Speaker 4: to Australia. She mentioned the Indian community to bolster the
- 14:07Speaker 4: labor vote. Alex I don't know why she would be
- 14:11Speaker 4: walking this comment back because it was only last week
- 14:14Speaker 4: where we had a labor operative and polster cos Samaras
- 14:17Speaker 4: saying that eighty five percent of Indian migrants voted for
- 14:22Speaker 4: labor the last federal election.
- 14:25Speaker 10: Yeah, and look, of course it was a statement inside
- 14:28Speaker 10: a longer format interview as well as I understand it was.
- 14:31Speaker 10: The point she was actually making is the overall number,
- 14:34Speaker 10: which is a very very reasonable statement to make, I think,
- 14:38Speaker 10: and the numbers are growing by the day. The government
- 14:42Speaker 10: say they are going to freeze the current rates, but
- 14:45Speaker 10: we've heard that before, so look, I think that this
- 14:48Speaker 10: is once again the left wing media love to get
- 14:51Speaker 10: themselves in a not about this, but the reality here
- 14:54Speaker 10: is the point that Senator Price was making was that
- 14:58Speaker 10: we are concerned about the overall numbers and it's a
- 15:01Speaker 10: very valid one.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Now you mentioned the cap.
- 15:04Speaker 4: The alb and Easy government has confirmed that the permanent
- 15:08Speaker 4: migration cap will remain unchanged at one hundred and eighty
- 15:12Speaker 4: five thousand places annually.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Alex, is that really the.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Total number moving to Australia permanently every year, one hundred
- 15:20Speaker 4: and eighty five thousand.
- 15:23Speaker 10: Yeah. What do they say about lies, lies and damn statistics?
- 15:26Speaker 10: Is I think the old statement? I mean, I think
- 15:27Speaker 10: in this issue the migration numbers that has never been
- 15:30Speaker 10: more correct because we've heard this before. As I said,
- 15:33Speaker 10: I mean in the first year of the Albanezi government,
- 15:35Speaker 10: up to their first budget, they were telling us that
- 15:38Speaker 10: there were going to be two hundred and thirty five
- 15:40Speaker 10: thousand in by way of immigration in the country. It
- 15:43Speaker 10: ended up being something like five hundred and forty or
- 15:46Speaker 10: something on those lines. So these numbers are often quite
- 15:50Speaker 10: different depending on how you take them and where you
- 15:52Speaker 10: set the starting point. And so you know, the fact
- 15:55Speaker 10: is that there have been something in the order of
- 15:57Speaker 10: a million plus up by some estimate's one point five
- 16:00Speaker 10: million over the last three year the last term of government,
- 16:03Speaker 10: which is an enormous amount of people in a country
- 16:05Speaker 10: of twenty seven million people. That is an enormous burden
- 16:08Speaker 10: on infrastructure, on roads, on schools, on hospitals, on water,
- 16:13Speaker 10: frankly apart from anything else. So I mean, look, I
- 16:16Speaker 10: don't think you can take that with any confidence at all,
- 16:19Speaker 10: and in fact the rate should be slowed. My personal
- 16:21Speaker 10: opinion is we should have a moratorium on it except
- 16:25Speaker 10: for absolutely essential workers because we've got a lot of
- 16:28Speaker 10: catching up to do now. I think that the strain
- 16:30Speaker 10: on services is very, very real and Aussie's affiliate now
- 16:33Speaker 10: before you go.
- 16:34Speaker 4: It seems the Prime Minister may have misled the Parliament
- 16:38Speaker 4: after he claimed reports in the Australian newspaper about a
- 16:41Speaker 4: top secret plan to return isis brides to Australia. He
- 16:45Speaker 4: said those reports were false, but senior and New South
- 16:48Speaker 4: Wales police have confirmed discussions have been underway to put
- 16:52Speaker 4: the plan into action, and those discussions were underway on
- 16:56Speaker 4: the very same day. Alex, what's going on here?
- 17:01Speaker 10: Well, this is one for the Prime Minister to explain.
- 17:04Speaker 10: Talk about getting mixed messages and cross purposes here. I
- 17:08Speaker 10: mean the Prime Minister says that it's not a plan.
- 17:10Speaker 10: We also heard that, by the way, in view of
- 17:12Speaker 10: the spare bedroom tax that we were talked about. They
- 17:15Speaker 10: railed about that in the Senate a couple of days ago,
- 17:18Speaker 10: despite the fact that credible reports were coming out of
- 17:20Speaker 10: the Economic Productivity Roundtable that it was talked about. So
- 17:24Speaker 10: who knows. This is for the Prime Minister to explain.
- 17:26Speaker 10: If there are senior immigration law enforcement types who say
- 17:31Speaker 10: that that is not the case, then how is it
- 17:33Speaker 10: that the Prime Minister has said the opposite. I'd be
- 17:36Speaker 10: very interested to hear that explanation because the bottom line
- 17:38Speaker 10: is this. If Australians aren't concerned about returning people from
- 17:41Speaker 10: this zone, then I would be absolutely staggered. The Australian
- 17:45Speaker 10: people deserve an explanation.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Well, yeah, we talk about Isis brides.
- 17:50Speaker 4: We're talking about people who left the safety of this
- 17:53Speaker 4: country to travel into a war zone to join the calife,
- 17:57Speaker 4: to join the barbaric Islamics date whilst.
- 18:01Speaker 3: They were ragning in that area.
- 18:03Speaker 4: So these are not people who I would think the
- 18:06Speaker 4: majority of Australians would want to see back in the country.
- 18:09Speaker 10: Alex, Now, look, I think that's exactly right. And once again,
- 18:14Speaker 10: I mean it does always come back to this question.
- 18:16Speaker 10: Why is it always countries like Australia in the West
- 18:19Speaker 10: that have to repatriate people like this. I mean, you know,
- 18:22Speaker 10: I would have thought that there was plenty of room
- 18:25Speaker 10: for other countries in the area to do that, but
- 18:27Speaker 10: never seems to happen. Except it's a tricky issue from
- 18:30Speaker 10: some points That did the kids, of course, but ultimately
- 18:33Speaker 10: the government's job is to protect Australian citizens and no
- 18:36Speaker 10: matter how good your intel and your research on these
- 18:38Speaker 10: people is, it can't be comprehensive enough to show that
- 18:43Speaker 10: we want them back.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Sonator Alexanderik, thank you so much for your time. Still
- 18:47Speaker 3: to come. Left is losing it, plus the layers.
- 18:50Speaker 4: From the US, including Nigel Farage, pleading with the Trump
- 18:53Speaker 4: administration to take a stand on.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Free speech in the UK.
- 18:58Speaker 9: Josh Hammer has the details.
- 19:08Speaker 4: You're watching the Reader Panny Show, and it's time for
- 19:11Speaker 4: lefties losing it. Let's start with this disgusting display by
- 19:15Speaker 4: lefty losers of what should have been a somber moment
- 19:18Speaker 4: as Vice President Jadie Vance and Usha Vance attended the
- 19:21Speaker 4: Annunciation Catholic Church of Minneapolis in remembrance of the victims
- 19:25Speaker 4: of last week's shooting, but idiot lefties had to hijack
- 19:29Speaker 4: the moment. Do better, Do better, and I'll have more
- 19:39Speaker 4: on jd Vance later, But first let's check in with
- 19:43Speaker 4: Joy Reid, who's gone from taunting people in tears to
- 19:47Speaker 4: being in tears.
- 19:49Speaker 14: Baby on tears, and for God's sake, stop whining.
- 19:52Speaker 3: It's embarrassing.
- 19:54Speaker 15: I'm sorry that.
- 19:58Speaker 6: What I was doing.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Vare you No, your show never had any value other
- 20:04Speaker 4: than for my segment. Now, just last week Joy read
- 20:08Speaker 4: was claiming white people have never invented anything. Well, her
- 20:12Speaker 4: latest claim is admitting that She's a product of DI
- 20:16Speaker 4: and she's proud of it.
- 20:18Speaker 13: As many times as I have been called DEEI or
- 20:22Speaker 13: an affirmative action baby and all that, you know what,
- 20:26Speaker 13: I never get mad because I actually am very much
- 20:29Speaker 13: in favor of DEI. I don't take that as an
- 20:31Speaker 13: insult because I understand that that means that I'm just
- 20:34Speaker 13: damn excellent and innovative, and yeah, I am DEI. I'm
- 20:38Speaker 13: bringing diversity, and that's bringing something great. You're not insulting
- 20:40Speaker 13: me if you say, oh, you're an afirmative action person
- 20:42Speaker 13: that got in Harvard, I'm like, yeah, I got into
- 20:44Speaker 13: Harvard with affirmative action and Yale and Brown and also
- 20:48Speaker 13: you know Vasser.
- 20:49Speaker 14: You know in the University of Denver, you have.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Some bright, hard working young Asian probably missed out on
- 20:54Speaker 4: the opportunity of a lifetime. So Joy could take advantage
- 20:58Speaker 4: of DEI and what an education to receive this. Matt
- 21:02Speaker 4: Banshee is now claiming that Donald Trump was never shot.
- 21:07Speaker 4: It's one thing to have these crazy thoughts in your head, Joy,
- 21:10Speaker 4: but she's sharing them on the world Wide Web. Here
- 21:14Speaker 4: she is with fellow former MSNBC hosts Katie Fang and
- 21:18Speaker 4: Folks get ready to be assailed by a weapon grade crazy.
- 21:24Speaker 5: He's got these magical doctors who claimed that he was
- 21:26Speaker 5: shot in the ear, but his ear against grew back.
- 21:29Speaker 5: He had a du blow bandage on one minute, no
- 21:31Speaker 5: bandage the next. We can't get a medical record from
- 21:33Speaker 5: this alleged assassination. He was supposed he shot, We've got none.
- 21:38Speaker 16: Where's the anagative worthy investigative records.
- 21:41Speaker 14: One day he saw his Naxi pad on his ear,
- 21:44Speaker 14: the next day the ear is totally fine.
- 21:45Speaker 3: It's fine.
- 21:46Speaker 5: And I remember being in mainstream media where we both used.
- 21:49Speaker 13: To work seeing isn't it odd that we've never asked
- 21:53Speaker 13: for his medical records?
- 21:54Speaker 6: And I got in trouble for that.
- 21:55Speaker 5: The mainstream media isn't demanding his medical records. They're not
- 21:58Speaker 5: demanding anything.
- 22:00Speaker 13: Terrified of this man, and now that the people are
- 22:02Speaker 13: speculating that he might have.
- 22:04Speaker 14: Died, we only get that online.
- 22:07Speaker 5: But means she meet it acting like everything's fine.
- 22:09Speaker 6: He seems fine to me.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Ah, that's because his fine joy, Your crazed fantasies and
- 22:14Speaker 4: wishful thinking are not substitutes for facts. Now to the man,
- 22:18Speaker 4: you could have been vice president. The uniquely awful Tim
- 22:22Speaker 4: Wall's tampon Tim Here he is talking about the false
- 22:25Speaker 4: reports of Donald Trump's death, and it tells his sad
- 22:28Speaker 4: supporters to remain hopeful that the president will die.
- 22:32Speaker 3: What an arshy, hideous human being, this commed widow is.
- 22:37Speaker 6: You get up in the morning and you doom scroll
- 22:39Speaker 6: through things.
- 22:39Speaker 17: And although I will say this, the last few days
- 22:43Speaker 17: you woke up thinking there might be news.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Just saying, just saying there will be news sometimes just
- 22:51Speaker 6: so you know.
- 22:51Speaker 3: There will be news, hideous stuff.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Even Stephen Colbert, Yes, the stage four teds sufferer Stephen
- 22:58Speaker 4: Colbert made it clear to his audience that no decent
- 23:01Speaker 4: person hopes for the president to die.
- 23:04Speaker 18: This weekend, the biggest story was frenzied social media rumors
- 23:08Speaker 18: speculating whether Donald Trump had died. For the record, donald
- 23:14Speaker 18: Trump is very much alive, okay, and no, we like
- 23:21Speaker 18: our president's alive. Donald Trump is very much alive. And
- 23:26Speaker 18: this whole crazy rumor started simply because Trump had zero
- 23:29Speaker 18: events on his schedule Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
- 23:33Speaker 4: And the man who wants to be the next Democrat president,
- 23:36Speaker 4: and he is a front runner because the Democrats have
- 23:39Speaker 4: a dangerously shallow talent pool and Gavin Newsom, like any
- 23:43Speaker 4: good lefty isn't above whipping up hysteria and indulging in
- 23:47Speaker 4: all sorts of lies on hyperbole.
- 23:50Speaker 17: I don't think Donald Trump wants another election. You think
- 23:54Speaker 17: for a second you want I have two dozen Trump
- 23:58Speaker 17: twenty twenty eight hats.
- 24:01Speaker 2: His folks keep selling me.
- 24:05Speaker 4: There you go, there'll be no more elections because there's
- 24:08Speaker 4: a baseball cap with Trump twenty twenty eight on it.
- 24:11Speaker 4: It's a joke, Gavin, That's why people are sending it
- 24:14Speaker 4: to you. And he wasn't done there here he claims
- 24:17Speaker 4: that Donald Trump does not want immigrants to vote in
- 24:20Speaker 4: twenty twenty eight.
- 24:22Speaker 17: You think ICE is not going to show up around
- 24:24Speaker 17: voting in polling boosts to chill participation. You know that
- 24:28Speaker 17: the National Guard, You know that everybody knows what's at stake.
- 24:32Speaker 17: So we have to put a steak in the ground
- 24:34Speaker 17: and do things differently.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Ah, did Gavin just admit something there that illegal immigrants
- 24:39Speaker 4: may in some cases be voting because legal migrants have
- 24:43Speaker 4: zero zero to fear from Ice.
- 24:46Speaker 3: They're not intimidated, and various.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Polls have shown that they are in fact in favor
- 24:51Speaker 4: of Donald Trump's deportation program. Now, whoever the Democrat candidate is,
- 24:56Speaker 4: they're likely to face one of the very best politicians
- 25:00Speaker 4: in US history.
- 25:01Speaker 3: It's a big statement, I know. But JD.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Vance is the whole package, is intellect, his conviction, his
- 25:07Speaker 4: personal history and achievements, his beautiful family. He is the
- 25:11Speaker 4: perfect candidate. And the media still haven't work that out.
- 25:16Speaker 4: They think they can take him on. The media are
- 25:18Speaker 4: slow learners, and that's certainly the case when it comes
- 25:22Speaker 4: to NBC. Here is host Krista Welker trying the old
- 25:26Speaker 4: people are saying routine with JD. Vance regarding the raid
- 25:31Speaker 4: on Warmonger and Siria Leka John Bolton's property.
- 25:34Speaker 3: The VP wasn't having it.
- 25:37Speaker 4: You know, a lot of people have already looked at
- 25:38Speaker 4: this and said, this looks a lot like retribution.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Is this retribution? Well, who has said it looks a
- 25:44Speaker 3: lot like retribution?
- 25:45Speaker 19: Kristin a lot of people who try to throw Donald
- 25:47Speaker 19: Trump in prison for completely faked charges that were later
- 25:51Speaker 19: thrown out by multiple different courts.
- 25:53Speaker 4: And the Vice President explains here about the impact illegal
- 25:57Speaker 4: immigrants have on elections because they are counted in the
- 26:01Speaker 4: census and that costs American citizens real representation.
- 26:07Speaker 19: Had way fewer House seats than we should have, one
- 26:10Speaker 19: if the Democrats hadn't aggressively gerrymandered, and two if the
- 26:13Speaker 19: legal aliens weren't counted in the census for purposes of
- 26:16Speaker 19: apportioning congressional seats. The best estimates I've seen is that
- 26:19Speaker 19: in California, for example, has five additional congressional seats than
- 26:24Speaker 19: it should have because they count illegal aliens for the
- 26:27Speaker 19: purpose of apportioning representatives. Meanwhile, Ohio, my home state, lost
- 26:31Speaker 19: a representative. We're literally losing representatives for American citizens in
- 26:35Speaker 19: order to give congressional representation to illegal aliens. Republicans are
- 26:39Speaker 19: trying to balance out the scales a little bit for
- 26:41Speaker 19: basic fairness and for the integrity of our democracy.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Joining me now is Newsweek's senior editor at Large and
- 26:49Speaker 4: Article three Project Senior Council Josh Hammer. Josh, that trend
- 26:55Speaker 4: is undeniable. Having illegal immigrants counted in the census makes
- 26:59Speaker 4: a difference, a big difference that undermines America's democracy.
- 27:06Speaker 15: Yeah, it's really positively abhorrent, is it not, you know,
- 27:09Speaker 15: I mean, there's actually there's there's an interesting constitutional legal
- 27:12Speaker 15: debate here ast whether or not it should be only citizens.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Or Green card holders, legal permanent residents. There.
- 27:18Speaker 15: That's actually somewhat interesting Fourteenth Amendment legal debate.
- 27:21Speaker 6: But the notion that.
- 27:22Speaker 15: Illegal aliens, people who are in this country illegally, that
- 27:26Speaker 15: they should be counted as persons for purposes of apportionments.
- 27:29Speaker 15: They're literally, as a legal matter, they're literally not here.
- 27:33Speaker 15: I mean they might physically be here, but legally under
- 27:35Speaker 15: the eyes of the United States Constitution, under the eyes
- 27:37Speaker 15: of our government, under the eyes of the rule of law,
- 27:40Speaker 15: they're not here.
- 27:41Speaker 6: They shouldn't be counted. And jd.
- 27:42Speaker 15: Vance is right that blue states have historically dispersally benefited
- 27:47Speaker 15: from this practice. Now it's interesting Donald Trump actually made
- 27:50Speaker 15: a move to change his practice back during the first term.
- 27:53Speaker 15: There he was stopped by John Roberts and a five
- 27:56Speaker 15: for majority of the US Supreme Court. It was an
- 27:58Speaker 15: utterly preposterous ruling. At the time, I thought that Donald
- 28:00Speaker 15: trudget seriously consider basically just sticking two middle fingers of
- 28:04Speaker 15: the Supreme Cord and just outreak define jorder. He didn't
- 28:06Speaker 15: do that there, but now he has another opportunity to
- 28:09Speaker 15: try to go for it.
- 28:09Speaker 20: There.
- 28:09Speaker 15: There's something that frankly should have been done a very
- 28:12Speaker 15: very long time ago, and I look forward to it
- 28:14Speaker 15: to seeing a getting done ideally post taste here.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Now, we have plenty of serious matters to discuss, Josh,
- 28:21Speaker 4: including Narco terrorists being blown up by the Trump administration.
- 28:25Speaker 4: But before we do that, let's look at one of
- 28:28Speaker 4: the all time great Donald Trump social media posts. He
- 28:31Speaker 4: did the post of this earlier today on Truth Social
- 28:35Speaker 4: About ros o'donal he wrote, as previously mentioned, we are
- 28:39Speaker 4: giving serious thought to taking away Rosi o'donald's citizenship. She
- 28:43Speaker 4: is not a great American and is, in my opinion.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Incapable of being so. Josh, he might just be.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Serious, but he really is the funniest president we've ever had.
- 28:54Speaker 4: This woman claimed just this week Rosio o'donald that the
- 28:58Speaker 4: Minnesota shooter, the trans identified lunatic who wanted to kill
- 29:02Speaker 4: Donald Trump, was actually a Republican and mega supporter. But
- 29:07Speaker 4: I would argue, being a little bit crazy isn't grounds
- 29:10Speaker 4: for being stripped of your citizenship.
- 29:15Speaker 15: You know, reader, I remember the first Republican presidential primary
- 29:18Speaker 15: debate all the way back in August twenty fifteen, is
- 29:21Speaker 15: the very first very chaotic cycle.
- 29:23Speaker 13: There.
- 29:23Speaker 15: There were like ten or fifteen candidate is running back then,
- 29:26Speaker 15: and if memory serves, I think it was Megan Kelly
- 29:28Speaker 15: was moderating that debate. I think I think she was
- 29:31Speaker 15: with Fox News back at the time. And this when
- 29:33Speaker 15: Donald Trump had that famous comment where he kind of
- 29:35Speaker 15: leans no microphone.
- 29:36Speaker 6: He says, no, only Rosio o'donald.
- 29:38Speaker 13: You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slavs
- 29:43Speaker 13: and disgusting animals your Twitter.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Account only Rosio o'donald.
- 29:50Speaker 15: No, it wasn't, you know, like he only hates Rosi o'donald,
- 29:53Speaker 15: not all women. So I mean Rosi o' donald and
- 29:55Speaker 15: Donald Trump have a very long and very testy and
- 29:58Speaker 15: very combative relationship there. I mean, we can quibble as
- 30:01Speaker 15: to whether or not this sort of conduct, these sort
- 30:03Speaker 15: of posts are quote unquote beneath the dipany of the
- 30:06Speaker 15: President of the United States. I mean, frankly, but it
- 30:08Speaker 15: is being candid there. That ship sailed a very long
- 30:10Speaker 15: time ago. But I think more broadly speaking, I mean,
- 30:13Speaker 15: you know, this is a point that you and I
- 30:14Speaker 15: have discussed before. I mean, Donald Trump's humor is one
- 30:17Speaker 15: of his bar non absolute greatest political traits. He is
- 30:21Speaker 15: laugh out loud, knee slapped funny. I mean when he
- 30:23Speaker 15: gets up there behind the microphone, when he gets behind
- 30:25Speaker 15: his keyboard to hypewlight social media. There you know that
- 30:28Speaker 15: you are in for a thrill, which makes sense because
- 30:30Speaker 15: the guy is a businessman. He is a show businessman,
- 30:33Speaker 15: someone who has operated because Sinos Hotels, the are of
- 30:36Speaker 15: the deal, the Apprentice, Reality TV selling Trump vodka, Trump
- 30:40Speaker 15: this Trump that there, he gets it. He knows how
- 30:42Speaker 15: to sell a product there, in this case the product. Frankly,
- 30:44Speaker 15: as Presidency look on the actual merits, I obviously for.
- 30:47Speaker 4: You, I don't think it's serious, and I think this
- 30:52Speaker 4: is what so many of his opponents fail to say,
- 30:55Speaker 4: while his supporters can discern the difference between serious policy.
- 31:00Speaker 3: And him having a laugh on social media.
- 31:02Speaker 4: And the picture he posted with that statement was pretty
- 31:06Speaker 4: funny as well. Now on serious matters, the Trump administration
- 31:11Speaker 4: is under fire from the usual suspects for stopping a
- 31:14Speaker 4: big shipment of narcotics from reaching US soul.
- 31:18Speaker 3: They blew up the boat, and the.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Secretary of State Marco Rubia has been clear that this
- 31:24Speaker 4: action was necessary to save American lives.
- 31:29Speaker 20: The President of the United States has determined that Narco
- 31:32Speaker 20: terrorist organization posted a threat to the national security of
- 31:35Speaker 20: the United States. I don't need to explain to you
- 31:37Speaker 20: why they are traffickers of people. They are traffickers of
- 31:39Speaker 20: deadly drugs. They are traffickers of all kinds of solicit means,
- 31:43Speaker 20: and they use the money that they generate to destabilize
- 31:46Speaker 20: governments in the region, which in and of itself then
- 31:47Speaker 20: poses a threat to the United States. These are organized, corporate,
- 31:51Speaker 20: structured organizations who specialize in the trafficking of deadly drugs
- 31:55Speaker 20: into the United States of America. They pose an immediate
- 31:58Speaker 20: threat to the United States. Period. If you're on a
- 32:01Speaker 20: boat full of cocaine or fenton or whatever headed to
- 32:03Speaker 20: the United States, you're an immediate threat to the United States.
- 32:06Speaker 20: And the President, under his authority is commander in chief,
- 32:09Speaker 20: has a right, under exegen circumstances to eliminate through imminent
- 32:13Speaker 20: threats to the United States. And that's what he did
- 32:15Speaker 20: yesterday in international waters, and that's what he intends to do.
- 32:18Speaker 16: We're not going to sit back anymore and.
- 32:19Speaker 20: Watch these people sail up and down the Caribbean like
- 32:21Speaker 20: a cruise ship.
- 32:22Speaker 6: It's not going to happen.
- 32:23Speaker 16: It's not going to happen. Anymore.
- 32:25Speaker 20: They're not going to bring drugs into the United States.
- 32:27Speaker 20: We're going to stop them. I know a lot of
- 32:29Speaker 20: presidents have talked about doing it. This president is not
- 32:31Speaker 20: a talker. He's a doer, and he's going to do it.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Josh.
- 32:34Speaker 4: She went on to explain, just simply stopping these boats
- 32:37Speaker 4: and making arrests doesn't work.
- 32:39Speaker 3: It's never worked.
- 32:40Speaker 4: The drug cartels know they will lose a certain percentage
- 32:43Speaker 4: of their cargo in that manner, they may rethink trafficking
- 32:47Speaker 4: when their boats are being blown out of the water.
- 32:52Speaker 15: So another wonderful cup by the way for Mark Rubio.
- 32:54Speaker 15: You know, Marco Rubio is genuinely excelling in this role
- 32:57Speaker 15: of Secretary of State. I mean, he already was a
- 33:00Speaker 15: good center in many ways, but he was built for
- 33:02Speaker 15: this role. I mean, Marco Rubio is living his best life.
- 33:05Speaker 19: Here in Washington, d C.
- 33:06Speaker 6: I would say, at this time.
- 33:08Speaker 15: And he's totally right on the merits here as well.
- 33:10Speaker 15: You know, one of Rubio's very first international trips, I
- 33:12Speaker 15: think memory serves it actually might have been his very
- 33:14Speaker 15: first trip back in late January early February, after Donald
- 33:18Speaker 15: Trump administrator took office, Rubio went to multiple Central American countries,
- 33:22Speaker 15: and the message there was unmistakable. In fact, the Wall
- 33:24Speaker 15: Street Journal had a whole op ed about at the
- 33:26Speaker 15: time there which at the message that this administration was
- 33:29Speaker 15: sending was that, yes, we're going to engage with the
- 33:31Speaker 15: whole world. Where we're going to engage with Europe, that
- 33:33Speaker 15: was jade Vans and Munich. We're going to engage in
- 33:35Speaker 15: the Middle East, We're going to engage with our Chinese
- 33:38Speaker 15: Communist Party.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Rivals, etc.
- 33:39Speaker 15: There, But we're really going to pay very close attention
- 33:42Speaker 15: to our own backyard. We're gonna pay very close attention
- 33:44Speaker 15: here to Latin America. It's a very venerable old tradition
- 33:47Speaker 15: of American foreign policy thinking, going all the way back
- 33:50Speaker 15: to the James Monroe presidency, was called the Monroe Doctrine
- 33:54Speaker 15: two hundred years ago in the early nineteenth century. There
- 33:56Speaker 15: it's a very old, more conservative, realist way of foreign policy,
- 34:00Speaker 15: and this administration is very much living it out. But
- 34:03Speaker 15: you know, more specifically when it comes to Venezuela and
- 34:06Speaker 15: the narco traffickers.
- 34:08Speaker 6: Yeah, he's right.
- 34:09Speaker 15: You know what, reader, Look, my cousin means memory, b buzzy,
- 34:12Speaker 15: my cousin overdose and died from bent and old based
- 34:14Speaker 15: cocaine eight years ago. Way too many Americans, way way
- 34:18Speaker 15: too many Americans have similar stories to me. This has
- 34:21Speaker 15: been a horrific, horrific epidemic there. Whether it's coming from Mexico,
- 34:24Speaker 15: whether it's coming from Venezuela and the Madora regime, whether
- 34:27Speaker 15: it's coming from from Cuba with their Chinese allies somewhere,
- 34:30Speaker 15: it doesn't matter.
- 34:31Speaker 6: It has to be stopped.
- 34:32Speaker 15: America has the wealth, it has the means to stop affair,
- 34:35Speaker 15: and under this administration, Reader, it's going to do it.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Now.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Let's hear from the leader of reform, possibly the next
- 34:41Speaker 4: British Prime Minister if the polls are right.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Nigel Farange was in Washington.
- 34:45Speaker 4: DC giving evidence to a US Congressional committee holding a
- 34:49Speaker 4: hearing into whether European laws threatened Americans right to speak
- 34:53Speaker 4: freely in the US. Here, Nigel Farage talks about just
- 34:57Speaker 4: how far Britain has fallen, and he mentioned the extraordinary
- 35:01Speaker 4: case of Graham Lynon that shows no one is safe
- 35:05Speaker 4: from these Orwellian anti fresh speech laws.
- 35:09Speaker 2: You know, I come from the land of Magna Carta.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I come from a land that gave us the mother
- 35:14Speaker 2: of Parliament. So it doesn't give me any great joy
- 35:17Speaker 2: to be sitting in America and describing the really awful
- 35:21Speaker 2: authoritarian situation that we have now sunk into.
- 35:26Speaker 12: JD.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Vans did us all the service at the Munich Security
- 35:29Speaker 2: Conference back in February this year. He really got this
- 35:32Speaker 2: debate up and running, and it's a vital one. Graham
- 35:35Speaker 2: lyonon the comedy writer, comedic writer, and he put out
- 35:39Speaker 2: some tweets months ago when he was in Arizona. And
- 35:45Speaker 2: months later he arrives at Heathrow Airport to be met
- 35:49Speaker 2: by five armed police. Armed police, not a big deal
- 35:52Speaker 2: in the USA, A very big deal in the United Kingdom,
- 35:56Speaker 2: five of them, and he was arrested and taken away
- 36:00Speaker 2: for questioning. He's not even a British citizen. He's an
- 36:04Speaker 2: Irish citizen. This could happen to any American man or
- 36:08Speaker 2: woman that goes to Heathrow that has said things online
- 36:11Speaker 2: that the British government and British police don't like.
- 36:16Speaker 9: Josh.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I've had Graham Lyinen on my program. I've had a
- 36:19Speaker 3: look at what he posted.
- 36:20Speaker 4: It's not in any way extreme or warranting police attention.
- 36:25Speaker 4: How many Americans traveling to the UK could expect to
- 36:28Speaker 4: be met by police and placed under arrest for tweets
- 36:34Speaker 4: or social media posts that the British government deem offensive.
- 36:42Speaker 15: So Brider, first of all, you know, I actually saw
- 36:45Speaker 15: Nigel Friji a few hours after he gave that testimony.
- 36:47Speaker 15: I'm here in Washington, DC actually to speak at a
- 36:49Speaker 15: conference and I saw Nigel Frij.
- 36:51Speaker 6: It was a whole reopening of the.
- 36:54Speaker 15: American affiliate of gb News, his Conservative British Team network.
- 36:58Speaker 15: There were a lot of Trump Ministry officials there. Caroline
- 37:01Speaker 15: level Is their Commerce Secretary, Howard Ludnet were there many
- 37:04Speaker 15: many other pretty higher up luberin aarians as well, And
- 37:06Speaker 15: the message was pretty unmistakable which the trumpdministration would love
- 37:09Speaker 15: nothing more than for Nigel Frush.
- 37:11Speaker 6: Would be the next Prime Minister of the UK.
- 37:12Speaker 15: Frankly, I would love nothing more than for Nigel Frush
- 37:15Speaker 15: to be the next Prime Minister of the UK, because
- 37:17Speaker 15: if the UK has any chance of saving and self
- 37:19Speaker 15: from going entirely through the looking glass Alice in Wonderland style,
- 37:23Speaker 15: and I think Nigel frag is very much the man
- 37:25Speaker 15: for the job, because they really are at this moment
- 37:28Speaker 15: tragically going through the looking gas. I'll give you an
- 37:30Speaker 15: example which I think will kind of hammer home this point.
- 37:33Speaker 15: So last summer there was this whole uprising. There was
- 37:36Speaker 15: there was a horrific, horrific killing of a second generation
- 37:40Speaker 15: Rawanden in Britain, of these girls at a dance class
- 37:43Speaker 15: there in the south of England there and then we
- 37:45Speaker 15: then with these Muslim riots and the kind of other
- 37:47Speaker 15: riots and response there. And I did a recording on
- 37:51Speaker 15: my show, The Josh Hammer Show, and I talked about
- 37:53Speaker 15: two tierkir two tier here starmer for the Labor Party prime,
- 37:57Speaker 15: the prime answer there Rita. I have a friend who
- 38:00Speaker 15: a lawyer in London who messaged me on WhatsApp and said, Josh,
- 38:03Speaker 15: you should probably delete this episode. I said, what are
- 38:06Speaker 15: you talking about here? He said, you actually might get
- 38:09Speaker 15: dragged into British corporate defamation for this. Now, as a
- 38:12Speaker 15: matter of principle, I didn't delete it. I have not
- 38:14Speaker 15: been dragged into port there. But that's just to say
- 38:17Speaker 15: reader that that is seriously how on edge. I think
- 38:19Speaker 15: a lot of folks in the UK are it is
- 38:21Speaker 15: or really in totalitarian stuff.
- 38:23Speaker 6: It's disgusting.
- 38:24Speaker 3: For me, it is disgusting.
- 38:26Speaker 4: And here Nigel Faraja pleads with the US to hold
- 38:30Speaker 4: the line on free speech.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Don't allow piece by piece this to happen here in America,
- 38:38Speaker 2: and you would be doing us and yourselves and all
- 38:42Speaker 2: freedom loving people to favor if your politicians and your
- 38:46Speaker 2: businesses said to the British government, you've simply got this wrong.
- 38:51Speaker 2: At what point did we become North Korea? Well, I
- 38:54Speaker 2: think the Irish comedy writer found that out two days ago.
- 38:58Speaker 2: At Heathrow Airport.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Before you go, we saw that terrible scene of the
- 39:02Speaker 4: US Open as some low life took a cap a
- 39:07Speaker 4: player was giving to a child. That dude has been
- 39:22Speaker 4: named and shamed comprehensively by now. But here's the antidote, Josh,
- 39:26Speaker 4: to that nastiness. Watch here as Blue Jays fan catches
- 39:31Speaker 4: a baseball and immediately hands it to a young kid
- 39:35Speaker 4: who breaks down in tears.
- 39:38Speaker 5: How much a pretty nice sports would you play?
- 39:39Speaker 6: A Blue je fan out there?
- 39:42Speaker 1: Fan, thank you, it's not going to forget today over.
- 39:49Speaker 3: It warms the heart.
- 39:50Speaker 15: Josh, Yeah, that's beautiful stuff. Look, I mean, you know, Rida,
- 39:55Speaker 15: I grew up a diehard baseball fan. We had partial
- 39:57Speaker 15: season tickets going up there. Now I have fond memories
- 40:01Speaker 15: of seeing that sort of stuff in person. Actually, I mean,
- 40:03Speaker 15: like that's that's kind of the quick essential American spirit, right,
- 40:05Speaker 15: I mean, right there, it's kind of this selflessness, his
- 40:08Speaker 15: ability to kind of pitch in to kind of do
- 40:10Speaker 15: for the children from the next generation there. I mean,
- 40:12Speaker 15: I don't know who the heck the schmuck is at
- 40:14Speaker 15: the US Open there? Who is who is stealing this
- 40:16Speaker 15: cat there? But you know that guy should be should
- 40:18Speaker 15: be torn and feathered in the public square and hopefully
- 40:20Speaker 15: you know Rita. Frankly, if I were advising the US
- 40:23Speaker 15: Open folks, the US tensolization, I would say ban that
- 40:25Speaker 15: guy for life because he didn't deserved to buy a
- 40:27Speaker 15: ticket anymore to the US Open.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Ah, he has definitely been named and shaved. I've read
- 40:32Speaker 4: a lot about him online in recent days. He has
- 40:35Speaker 4: paid a heavy price for that election. Josh Hamma, thanks
- 40:38Speaker 4: for your time tonight.
- 40:40Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Da Still to come the harrowing ordeal Queen Canilla suffered
- 40:45Speaker 4: as a young woman.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Kinsey Schofield is up next. We back.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Joining me now is celebrity and royal commentator Kinsey Schofield.
- 41:05Speaker 4: Kinsey former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has revealed in
- 41:08Speaker 4: a new book by Valentine low that Queen Camilla was
- 41:12Speaker 4: allegedly attacked as a teenager and fought off her.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Attacker with a high heel.
- 41:18Speaker 4: I've always liked Quinmilla, and this makes me like her
- 41:21Speaker 4: even more.
- 41:22Speaker 3: What more can you tell me about this story?
- 41:25Speaker 21: Yeah, So, according to Valentine Lowe's new book, Boris Johnson
- 41:28Speaker 21: was invited to tea with Camilla and Prince Charles at
- 41:30Speaker 21: Clarence House. This was in June of two thousand and eight,
- 41:34Speaker 21: and they say that Camilla was just self possessed enough
- 41:38Speaker 21: to jump off the train and find a guy in
- 41:40Speaker 21: uniform and say that man attacked me. The man was arrested,
- 41:44Speaker 21: but this was after she popped him, you know where,
- 41:47Speaker 21: with her high heel. And the story allegedly motivated Johnson
- 41:51Speaker 21: to open three REAP crisis centers in London. So, I mean,
- 41:55Speaker 21: I think that that's a really important story to be told.
- 41:58Speaker 21: I wish Queen Camilla could have told it herself. A
- 42:01Speaker 21: part of me kind of aged that, you know. I
- 42:03Speaker 21: hope that they at.
- 42:04Speaker 14: Least had her permission to share it.
- 42:06Speaker 21: But what an incredible impact that story had on Boris Johnson.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Now Woody Allen appeared on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast
- 42:14Speaker 4: and he was asked about directing the US President.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Let's see what he had to say.
- 42:20Speaker 22: I I'm a Democrat. I voted for Kamala Harris and
- 42:25Speaker 22: and I you know, take issue with him, you know
- 42:31Speaker 22: on ninety five percent of the things, maybe ninety nine percent.
- 42:38Speaker 22: But as an actor, as as as you know to
- 42:43Speaker 22: he was, she was very good.
- 42:46Speaker 4: He went on to praise Donald Trump's professionalism on the
- 42:50Speaker 4: set Kinsey, and people in.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Hollywood won't like that.
- 42:54Speaker 4: I mean, he can get away with marrying his own stepdaughter,
- 42:57Speaker 4: that's fine, but if you are talk about how professional
- 43:01Speaker 4: Donald Trump is on set, that could get you canceled.
- 43:05Speaker 21: Yeah, and Hollywood morality often takes a back seat to money.
- 43:09Speaker 21: If you make the industry enough profit, people are quick
- 43:12Speaker 21: to look the other way. So yeah, I think he's
- 43:16Speaker 21: gotten away with a lot in his career. But he
- 43:18Speaker 21: knew he was in a safe space with mar Is,
- 43:22Speaker 21: a Trump convert.
- 43:23Speaker 14: I believe.
- 43:24Speaker 21: I don't think he would blatantly say that, but through
- 43:26Speaker 21: some of it what he said recently, you can tell
- 43:29Speaker 21: that he doesn't loathe him as much as he used to.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Well, no, he went and had that dinner at the
- 43:34Speaker 4: White House. I think Kid Rock was the one who
- 43:37Speaker 4: organized that because he had full blown TDS for a
- 43:41Speaker 4: long time. Bill Maher and I would argue he perhaps
- 43:45Speaker 4: still has a little bit of it, but it shows
- 43:47Speaker 4: that it can be treated. It doesn't need to be fatal. Now,
- 43:52Speaker 4: actress and filmmaker Reese Witherspoon has come under fire for
- 43:56Speaker 4: backing artificial intelligence as the future of filmmaking, with critics
- 44:00Speaker 4: blasting her as a Hollywood elitis who can afford to
- 44:04Speaker 4: praise it while ordinary writers, actors, and crew members via
- 44:08Speaker 4: losing word.
- 44:09Speaker 21: Kinsey, I mean, AI is moving so fast that if
- 44:13Speaker 21: we don't evolve and educate ourselves, we risk being.
- 44:16Speaker 14: Left behind Hollywood, no exception.
- 44:19Speaker 21: Honestly, AI could take my job and maybe even do
- 44:22Speaker 21: it better. But that's why I want to fight to
- 44:25Speaker 21: keep up with it. I'm with Reese Witherspoon on this one.
- 44:28Speaker 21: The only way forward is to adapt. And Reese Witherspoon,
- 44:31Speaker 21: as a female entrepreneur, has employed hundreds, if not thousands
- 44:36Speaker 21: of people so far, so hopefully they should be, you know,
- 44:39Speaker 21: a little more grateful to her for the work she's done.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Now, Kinsey Businesses are trying to cash in on Taylor
- 44:46Speaker 4: Swift's engagement. A business called Trusted Prenup is offering a
- 44:50Speaker 4: Taylor Swift offer, giving discounts to women who want to
- 44:53Speaker 4: get a prenup. But the question is will Taylor have
- 44:57Speaker 4: a prenup with Kelsey and.
- 44:58Speaker 3: How will it be?
- 45:01Speaker 21: It's hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey skipping
- 45:04Speaker 21: a prenup, you know, given the level of fame, sponsorships,
- 45:09Speaker 21: endorsements tied to their names. Taylor's career trajectory feels endless,
- 45:14Speaker 21: and I'm sure her team is well aware of that.
- 45:16Speaker 21: Professional athletes don't always manage their money wisely. Very few
- 45:21Speaker 21: have been able to transition as smoothly as someone like
- 45:24Speaker 21: Michael Jordan to mainstream pop culture. But Travis's connection to
- 45:28Speaker 21: Taylor will certainly boost his profile. But I just think
- 45:31Speaker 21: it makes sense for Taylor to safeguard her future and
- 45:34Speaker 21: have a pre nump now.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Will Smith has seemingly found a new home at Paramount,
- 45:40Speaker 4: signing a new deal with the Entertainment GIDE focusing on
- 45:43Speaker 4: developing four Quadrant theatrical movies, emphasizing projects based on IP
- 45:49Speaker 4: and franchise plays.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Kinty everything seems to have done lately is desperate. Cringe.
- 45:57Speaker 4: Why would Paramount sign him under the current conditions.
- 46:03Speaker 21: I was like trying to process everything you were saying
- 46:05Speaker 21: right there.
- 46:05Speaker 14: I was like, what does this even mean?
- 46:07Speaker 21: I mean, maybe they he's on the prink of being uncanceled.
- 46:10Speaker 21: They're crossing their fingers. I imagine he's not had a
- 46:13Speaker 21: great year his comeback album. I mean, I can't believe
- 46:16Speaker 21: I even used those words, because there was no comeback
- 46:19Speaker 21: based on a true story. Struggled commercially, it's sold just
- 46:23Speaker 21: two hundred and sixty eight physical copies in its first
- 46:26Speaker 21: week in the UK, with only thirty.
- 46:28Speaker 14: Six digital downloads reported. According to the Sun, he probably
- 46:32Speaker 14: shouldn't have slapped Chris Rock over his alleged cheating estranged wife.
- 46:37Speaker 14: I don't think any of that was worth the downfall.
- 46:40Speaker 4: No, I haven't seen a downfall like this for a
- 46:43Speaker 4: long time, because he was so bankable, he was almost
- 46:47Speaker 4: universally liked and admired, and now the public perception of
- 46:53Speaker 4: him is so different, and it's like.
- 46:55Speaker 3: How did he fool us for so long?
- 46:57Speaker 4: Now the sale figures in and it seemed American Eagles
- 47:01Speaker 4: ads featuring Sidney Sweeney have brought about a huge sALS
- 47:05Speaker 4: increase for the brand, the ad generating some forty billion impressions,
- 47:09Speaker 4: and American Eagle stocks sowed twenty five percent after hours
- 47:15Speaker 4: on the earnings report being released. Kinzie, I think other
- 47:20Speaker 4: companies are getting IDs here.
- 47:22Speaker 3: I think we're going to see a lot more ads
- 47:24Speaker 3: trying to copy that formula.
- 47:27Speaker 21: Well, and now Sidney Sweeney's the face of Jimmy Chew
- 47:31Speaker 21: their new Atum collection.
- 47:32Speaker 14: There's no slowing her down.
- 47:34Speaker 21: The louder the haters get, the larger her pay her,
- 47:38Speaker 21: you know, her bank account gets. I love the Little
- 47:41Speaker 21: Maga Barbie. But yeah, I mean, what was so salacious
- 47:44Speaker 21: about this? It just felt like a few people on
- 47:47Speaker 21: the Internet got mad over something silly, and then there
- 47:50Speaker 21: was the pylon.
- 47:51Speaker 14: But show me any proof that Sidney Sweeney is a Nazi.
- 47:55Speaker 14: There's it's radically ridiculous.
- 47:58Speaker 3: It is radically ridiculous. But that that's the model left
- 48:00Speaker 3: for you before you go.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Denzel Washington has cemented his reputation as one of the
- 48:05Speaker 4: wisest voices in Hollywood. During a recent interview, he talked
- 48:09Speaker 4: about cancel culture.
- 48:12Speaker 16: Do you guys consider being quote unquote.
- 48:15Speaker 23: Canceled what does that mean you canceled?
- 48:18Speaker 16: It means you lose public support.
- 48:20Speaker 7: Who cares?
- 48:21Speaker 16: What made public support so important to begin with? I
- 48:24Speaker 16: guess because followers now are currency.
- 48:26Speaker 23: I don't care who's following. Okay, you can't lead and
- 48:30Speaker 23: follow at the same time, and you can't follow and
- 48:33Speaker 23: lead at the same time. I don't follow anybody. I
- 48:37Speaker 23: follow the heavenly Spirit. I follow God. Man, I follow Man.
- 48:41Speaker 23: I have faith in God, I have hope in Man.
- 48:45Speaker 23: But look around, it ain't working out so well.
- 48:48Speaker 16: Forget being followed.
- 48:50Speaker 23: You can't be canceled if you haven't signed up, don't
- 48:53Speaker 23: sign up.
- 48:55Speaker 14: Ken Sid's refreshing to hear that he said back in
- 48:59Speaker 14: the nineties. I never want to be famous. I want
- 49:01Speaker 14: to be good at what I do.
- 49:02Speaker 21: That's the difference between a superstar and an influencer.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Well said Kinsey Schofield. Thank you so much for your
- 49:08Speaker 4: time tonight, and that's all the time I have.
- 49:11Speaker 3: I'll see you tomorrow night.
- 49:13Speaker 4: For Left, he's losing at nine pm up next it's Newsnight.
