- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're picking up where we
- 0:06Speaker 1: left off with the Doug Band testimony given to Congress.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Question okay. And then in two thousand and two, I
- 0:13Speaker 1: believe in the Majority's Hour, they briefly discussed this visit
- 0:17Speaker 1: to Epstein's townhouse with President Clinton. And you said you attended?
- 0:21Speaker 1: Is that correct? Answer? Yes? Question did you organize this visit? Answer?
- 0:26Speaker 1: I don't recall organizing it. Question do you remember how
- 0:29Speaker 1: it came about? Answer? I do not. Question And at
- 0:32Speaker 1: the visit, do you remember who else was at Epstein's home? Answer?
- 0:36Speaker 1: I don't remember anyone else being there? Question, but Epstein
- 0:39Speaker 1: was there himself? Answer yes. Question so Epstein, President Clinton
- 0:44Speaker 1: and yourself. Answer well, as I said, to the best
- 0:48Speaker 1: of my recollection, is walking to the house, I stayed,
- 0:52Speaker 1: walked in a few feet, stayed in the front entryway, foyer,
- 0:54Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, holding room, and the
- 0:57Speaker 1: two of them went off into the house. And so
- 1:00Speaker 1: you didn't see anyone else inside the home? Answer I
- 1:03Speaker 1: don't recall seeing anyone else in the home. No question, okay.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And then in two thousand and two as well, there
- 1:09Speaker 1: was a meeting at President Clinton's office in Harlem. Did
- 1:12Speaker 1: you organize this? Answer? Sorry? When is that question? It
- 1:16Speaker 1: was two thousand and two, there was a meeting at
- 1:18Speaker 1: President Clinton's office in Harlem with Epstein. Answer I don't
- 1:22Speaker 1: remember that meeting at all. Question were you present at
- 1:25Speaker 1: that meeting? Answer? I don't remember whether I was president
- 1:28Speaker 1: or not. Question Okay. It's also our understanding that Glenn
- 1:31Speaker 1: Maxwell compiled a birthday book for Epstein for his fiftieth birthday,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and that the book had letters and notes from various
- 1:38Speaker 1: friends and associates of Epstein's. President Clinton wrote a letter
- 1:42Speaker 1: for that book. Do you recall that letter? Have you
- 1:44Speaker 1: seen that letter? Answer? I do not recall that letter. Subsequently, again,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I've obviously given the press reports of recent years. Is
- 1:52Speaker 1: when I learned of the book you're referring to. But
- 1:55Speaker 1: I don't recall having any involvement or anything to do
- 1:57Speaker 1: with it, or even knowing it existed or what was
- 2:00Speaker 1: being done at the time. Question, So, miss Maxwell did
- 2:03Speaker 1: not reach out to you about the letter? Answer not
- 2:05Speaker 1: that I recall. No. Question, and you weren't asked to
- 2:08Speaker 1: write a letter for the book? Answer no, not that
- 2:10Speaker 1: I recall no question. Okay. Last year, Gallainne Maxwell was
- 2:14Speaker 1: interviewed by then Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and during
- 2:18Speaker 1: the interview, Maxwell said that she visited the Clinton's home
- 2:22Speaker 1: in Chappaquah a couple times. Do you have any memory
- 2:25Speaker 1: or knowledge of Maxwell visiting the Clinton's home? Answer? I
- 2:28Speaker 1: do not. I have seen that interview. I believe that's
- 2:31Speaker 1: talking about twenty sixteen, seventeen eighteen, something like that. Right
- 2:35Speaker 1: as I said, I left the President's employee in twenty twelve.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I have no idea about any of that and nothing
- 2:41Speaker 1: to do with it. Question. So you never spoke to
- 2:44Speaker 1: anyone in the Clinton family about these visits? Answer no,
- 2:48Speaker 1: not that I recall, no redacted. Are you aware of
- 2:51Speaker 1: any other visits prior to twenty sixteen, mister band, I
- 2:55Speaker 1: am not. No question. Okay, we're gonna shift gears a
- 2:58Speaker 1: little bit and talk about some of the lights that
- 3:00Speaker 1: you took on Epstein's plane with President Clinton. We're gonna
- 3:04Speaker 1: briefly walk through those. But before I would just like
- 3:07Speaker 1: to clarify. In the previous hour, you said that Secret
- 3:09Speaker 1: Service would always accompany President Clinton on the flights. Is
- 3:12Speaker 1: that correct? Answer? Yes, question, and he was always there
- 3:16Speaker 1: on the flights on Epstein's plane. Is that correct? Secret
- 3:19Speaker 1: Service was always there? Answer? Secret Service is always with
- 3:23Speaker 1: President Clinton everywhere he goes, no matter what. Yes, question
- 3:27Speaker 1: thank you. Flight logs indicate that on March nineteenth and
- 3:31Speaker 1: twenty first of two thousand and two, you flew on
- 3:33Speaker 1: Epstein's plane from JFKA to London and back. This is
- 3:37Speaker 1: with Epstein, Maxwell, President Clinton and some others. What was
- 3:40Speaker 1: the purpose of that trip? Answer I don't recall or
- 3:44Speaker 1: remember that trip at all. Question you don't remember anything
- 3:47Speaker 1: about the trip? Answer no, Question you don't remember how
- 3:50Speaker 1: the trip came about? Answer I don't. Question. Was this
- 3:53Speaker 1: the first time that you flew on Epstein's plane? Answer
- 3:56Speaker 1: I have no idea. As I said, we traveled off
- 3:58Speaker 1: in so it's difficult twenty five year years later, twenty
- 4:01Speaker 1: four years later to remember specific trips. Question do you
- 4:05Speaker 1: know whether this was the first time that President Clinton
- 4:08Speaker 1: flew on Epstein's plane? Answer I don't. Question okay, And
- 4:12Speaker 1: you don't remember anyone else being on the trip? Answer
- 4:15Speaker 1: I don't remember the trip at all, So no, I
- 4:17Speaker 1: don't remember anyone else being on the trip. Question okay.
- 4:21Speaker 1: A couple months later, in May of two thousand and two,
- 4:23Speaker 1: flight log show a series of flights in Asia. This
- 4:26Speaker 1: was also with mister Epstein, Maxwell and President Clinton. What
- 4:30Speaker 1: do you recall from this trip? Answer? I don't recall
- 4:33Speaker 1: the trip at all or anything from the trip. Question
- 4:36Speaker 1: you don't remember being in Asia? Answer you know, again,
- 4:39Speaker 1: I understand the question and the idea that someone would
- 4:42Speaker 1: remember going to Asia. I've been to Asia many many times,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and I staffed President Clinton in Asia many times, so
- 4:49Speaker 1: I don't remember any specific trips or another or anything
- 4:53Speaker 1: from those trips really. Question understood. Is there a specific,
- 4:57Speaker 1: anything specific you remember from being on epste plane, whether
- 5:01Speaker 1: it was this specific trip or other trips. Answer you know,
- 5:04Speaker 1: as I said earlier, I just remember that the guest
- 5:07Speaker 1: sat in the front and that was just where I
- 5:10Speaker 1: sat and hung out and went about my work in business.
- 5:13Speaker 1: But no, I don't remember anything remarkable about the trip
- 5:15Speaker 1: at all or the plane at all. Question do you
- 5:18Speaker 1: remember any specific interaction you had on the plane, whether
- 5:22Speaker 1: that was with Maxwell Epstein, any of his staffers, pilots,
- 5:25Speaker 1: anything like that. Answer No, I don't recall any of that.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Question Okay, there was another trip. This was to Morocco
- 5:33Speaker 1: and Portugal, and public reporting indicated that it was for
- 5:37Speaker 1: the King of Morocco's wedding. Do you recall that wedding? Answer?
- 5:40Speaker 1: I vaguely recall the wedding itself. Yes, question, and you
- 5:43Speaker 1: attended the wedding answer. President Clinton attended the wedding. Question
- 5:47Speaker 1: Did you attend the wedding? Answer? I remember staffing him
- 5:50Speaker 1: for the wedding. Yes question, so you were there answer,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but I was not in. I wasn't an invited guest
- 5:56Speaker 1: by the King of Morocco to his wedding. Question understood,
- 6:00Speaker 1: Depstein attended the wedding. Is that correct? Answer? You know again,
- 6:03Speaker 1: I don't remember at the time what transpired, other than
- 6:06Speaker 1: seeing the public reporting recently. So my memory of that
- 6:09Speaker 1: is I don't have memory of that obviously, having seen
- 6:12Speaker 1: the reporting of it. Question do you recall why you
- 6:15Speaker 1: use Depstein's plane to travel to the wedding? Answer? I
- 6:18Speaker 1: don't recall why President Clinton used Epstein's plane to travel
- 6:21Speaker 1: to the wedding. Question understood. Then there's the trip to
- 6:24Speaker 1: Africa in September of two thousand and two. It's reported
- 6:28Speaker 1: on highly and I think has become rather infamous. Is
- 6:31Speaker 1: there any specific information that you remember about that trip. Answer,
- 6:35Speaker 1: I don't remember anything specific. I remember the President taking
- 6:38Speaker 1: along and inviting. His guests were Chris Tucker and Kevin Spacey.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I remember that being around this, but again my memory
- 6:45Speaker 1: is from seeing pictures of that in recent years or before.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But I don't remember anything about the trip. Question. There
- 6:52Speaker 1: is a well known photo from this trip of what
- 6:54Speaker 1: looks to be President Clinton getting a back massage from
- 6:56Speaker 1: a young woman. Is there anything you remember about that instance?
- 6:59Speaker 1: Answer no question. Do you remember meeting this young woman?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Answer no question. And you have no knowledge of what
- 7:05Speaker 1: our relationship was to mister Epstein, Answer no question. And
- 7:10Speaker 1: you had no knowledge at the time that she was
- 7:11Speaker 1: being abused by mister Epstein. Answer no question. And finally,
- 7:15Speaker 1: in November of two thousand and three, there was a
- 7:17Speaker 1: trip to Russia and China. Is there anything you remember
- 7:20Speaker 1: from that trip? Answer no, I do not question. Thank
- 7:23Speaker 1: you redacted. Question mister band. We have some emails and
- 7:27Speaker 1: related documents that we would like to show you in
- 7:29Speaker 1: hopes that you can provide some context for us. I'm
- 7:32Speaker 1: going to begin with one dated October thirteenth of two
- 7:36Speaker 1: thousand and two from Gmax to WJC email address. It's
- 7:40Speaker 1: bates numbered EFTA zero zero, five A, two, one five six.
- 7:45Speaker 1: This will be minority Exhibit B. Mister band, do you
- 7:48Speaker 1: recall the email? Answer no, I do not question. Okay,
- 7:51Speaker 1: if I could direct you to the second sentence, which reads,
- 7:54Speaker 1: this is Miss Max while writing to you, as we understand,
- 7:58Speaker 1: want to make sure that you know that lunches on
- 8:00Speaker 1: Wednesday is at Bar Mini. Me you je plus forty two?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Do you have the time for the address? Do you
- 8:08Speaker 1: recall having lunch at an establishment called bare Mini with
- 8:11Speaker 1: mister Epstein? Answer no, I do not question, and your
- 8:15Speaker 1: understanding is plus forty two is a sentence referring to
- 8:18Speaker 1: President Clinton. Answer again, I don't remember the email or
- 8:22Speaker 1: whether this happened or not. Forty two was how people
- 8:24Speaker 1: referred to him. Yes, he was a forty second president
- 8:27Speaker 1: of the United States. And question and if I could
- 8:31Speaker 1: refer to you the following sentence, which reads, need your
- 8:33Speaker 1: schedule to organize your B day gift. Need to know
- 8:37Speaker 1: dates from now to land of October when you're in
- 8:39Speaker 1: the city and available for two hours, can be day
- 8:41Speaker 1: or night. I need rough times because we just fill
- 8:44Speaker 1: in the gaps. Did Miss Maxwell give you a birthday
- 8:47Speaker 1: gift answer not that I recall question than the phrase
- 8:51Speaker 1: at the end of the sentence. We just fill in
- 8:53Speaker 1: the gap. Do you have any understanding to what she
- 8:56Speaker 1: was referring to their answer? I have no idea what
- 8:59Speaker 1: she's referring to question. No more questions on this exhibit.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I will ask a court reporter to mark exhibit. See
- 9:05Speaker 1: an article from New York Magazine entitled The Dish on Dinner,
- 9:09Speaker 1: dated April twenty fifth, two thousand and three, redacted. And
- 9:13Speaker 1: while this is being handed out, understand that the members
- 9:16Speaker 1: or new members have entered the room, Eric Burlison, Lauren Bobert,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and Dan for the record. Mister Perry was also present,
- 9:23Speaker 1: but he stepped out redacted. And where we're looking at
- 9:27Speaker 1: it's on the second page. Question. And to be clear,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm looking at the paragraph that's captioned their East Side townhouse.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Do you see that answer? Uh huh question? And then
- 9:37Speaker 1: two lines down below there's a guest list consisting of
- 9:40Speaker 1: Mord Zuckerman, Google co founder, Sergey Brynn, David Blaine, Donald Trump,
- 9:44Speaker 1: Leslie Waxner of the Limited, disgraced British Cabinet Minister Peter Mandelson,
- 9:49Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, aide Doug Band. Do you recall being at
- 9:52Speaker 1: the event with those attendees? Answer? You know, As I
- 9:56Speaker 1: said earlier, I recall attending a dinner at Epstein's house.
- 10:00Speaker 1: President Clinton was also to attend the dinner, and while
- 10:03Speaker 1: I was there waiting for him, he decided not to come,
- 10:06Speaker 1: So I went to the dinner and instead. I don't
- 10:08Speaker 1: remember anything from the dinner anything at all. Question do
- 10:12Speaker 1: you remember any of these listed individuals being president? Answer no,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I do not. Question have you ever met any of
- 10:17Speaker 1: these individuals? Answer? I've met a few of them. Question
- 10:20Speaker 1: can you identify which ones? Answer? I met Mord Zuckerman,
- 10:25Speaker 1: Sergey Brynn, I met shake and Donald Trump Trump's hand
- 10:28Speaker 1: at his golf course. I vaguely recall meeting Peter Mandelsson
- 10:31Speaker 1: when he worked for Prime Minister Blair. He was good
- 10:33Speaker 1: friends with President Clinton. I guess you probably know a
- 10:36Speaker 1: long long time ago when Prime Minister Blair was still
- 10:39Speaker 1: Prime Minister. Question were you introduced to any of these
- 10:42Speaker 1: individuals through Jeffrey Epstein or Glenn Maxwell? Answer no, I
- 10:46Speaker 1: don't think so. Question and did you ever become aware
- 10:49Speaker 1: of any of these individuals having a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Answer no, not that I can recall or know of.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Question if I could refer you further down in the
- 10:59Speaker 1: paragraph to the sentence that begins at a recent dinner,
- 11:02Speaker 1: do you see that? For the record, The sentence reads,
- 11:05Speaker 1: at a recent dinner organized by Blaine Maxwell Blaine amused
- 11:08Speaker 1: a group of barely clad models with card tricks. Alas Clinton,
- 11:12Speaker 1: around whom the evening had been organized, never showed, though
- 11:15Speaker 1: a secret service would have appreciated Epstein's numerous security cameras.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So my first question is do you recall barely clad
- 11:22Speaker 1: models being present for the dinner? Answer? No, I do not.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Question do you recall models of any variety being present
- 11:29Speaker 1: at any of your interactions with Jeffrey Epstein? Answer no,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I do not recall models being present. Question does it
- 11:36Speaker 1: surprise you to read that there were barely clad models
- 11:39Speaker 1: reportedly in attendance at this event? Answer? Well, I didn't
- 11:43Speaker 1: write this. I don't know. I'm just giving you the
- 11:45Speaker 1: best recollection of what I remember. What I recall. Question
- 11:49Speaker 1: nothing further on this exhibit. All right, folks, we're going
- 11:53Speaker 1: to wrap up right here, and in the next episode
- 11:55Speaker 1: dealing with the topic, we're going to pick up where
- 11:57Speaker 1: we left off. All the information that goes with this
- 12:00Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
