- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, you guys. It's just Jen and I'm here with
- 0:05Speaker 1: just Jesse and just Carl. I am sitting with my
- 0:08Speaker 1: friends Carl Radkey and Jesse Solomon. Do not be jealous.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I know that you are. Thank you guys so much
- 0:15Speaker 1: for coming. I really appreciate it.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I love your outfit today.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I know.
- 0:19Speaker 2: But I saw you and I was.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Like, I have to say. The boys both gave me, yeah.
- 0:24Speaker 2: You should. You should do a TikTok fit. Check.
- 0:27Speaker 1: This is why I have boys from Summerhouse. Okay, I know.
- 0:30Speaker 1: And by the way, let me just put this out
- 0:32Speaker 1: there to the universe. I'm not against having a woman
- 0:35Speaker 1: from Summerhouse come on to my podcast. It's starting to
- 0:38Speaker 1: look like things are a little slanted here, a little
- 0:40Speaker 1: lopsided here. Yeah, they are a little bit. I have
- 0:44Speaker 1: to say, if I'm on a side, I definitely side
- 0:47Speaker 1: with maybe the boys on Summerhouse. I probably shouldn't say that,
- 0:49Speaker 1: but now it's out there.
- 0:50Speaker 2: There's no sides.
- 0:51Speaker 1: There are sides. There are always really family. Oh yes,
- 0:56Speaker 1: one big, happy, dispunctional family.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I think there's topical sides, you know, like a particular
- 1:02Speaker 2: moment where it's like, well, Kyle was maybe over over
- 1:06Speaker 2: overstepped or.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yes, but those are discussions, those are arguments.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Those are not I'm wrong. There's sides.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Well I mean listen, I'm on or was on, or
- 1:14Speaker 1: maybe ever will be and who knows what's going to
- 1:16Speaker 1: happen again with the Housewives of New Jersey, there were sides,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and you better think it through before you picked the side.
- 1:21Speaker 2: So what's unique about Summerhouse to some degree is we
- 1:24Speaker 2: we get to like enjoy staying with each other. Imagine
- 1:27Speaker 2: if you guys lived with each other for like three months. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 2: as you already.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Issues like honey, there would be no one that would
- 1:34Speaker 1: come out of that alive.
- 1:35Speaker 2: I know. Well, that's what makes us what we do
- 1:37Speaker 2: so unique is like we'll do a dinner and usually
- 1:39Speaker 2: with your dinners or an event, you all get to
- 1:41Speaker 2: go to your separate homes. Yes, we still have to
- 1:43Speaker 2: go home with each other and like a lot of
- 1:45Speaker 2: times we think we're off camera, but there's cameras obviously
- 1:48Speaker 2: still in the home in the rooms, so you're maybe
- 1:50Speaker 2: a little bit more loose. That's when all that's where
- 1:52Speaker 2: they get a lot of the good stuff is on
- 1:54Speaker 2: our show is when they it's the security.
- 1:56Speaker 1: They never go down. They're like everywhere Carrie, it's.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Always how do you do that?
- 2:01Speaker 3: All right?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on, hold on. They're taking over, the
- 2:03Speaker 1: boys are taking over. I'm not having it, okay, It's
- 2:06Speaker 1: all about just Jen, Just Jen. So I just want
- 2:09Speaker 1: to tell you guys, first of all, to our listeners.
- 2:12Speaker 1: So I met Carl rad Key great story in an
- 2:15Speaker 1: airport on my way to on our way to Bravo Khan.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So we were we were in the lounge. We were
- 2:22Speaker 1: like in the Delta lounge, right or whatever it was.
- 2:24Speaker 2: In the morning yep. And on the shoulder. Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 3: She was like, what are you doing over here? Yes?
- 2:29Speaker 2: And I was hiding because going to Bravo Kahn last year,
- 2:32Speaker 2: I was very nervous and just very over with good reason,
- 2:35Speaker 2: having to face a lot of the stuff, yes, the breakup,
- 2:37Speaker 2: but you and Derinda were very very kind your husband
- 2:40Speaker 2: as well. Yes, I'll never forget that Delta lounge Roan,
- 2:43Speaker 2: because I was so nervous going to Brabacon, but you
- 2:45Speaker 2: both made me feel really good.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Well. The thing is that I didn't really know the
- 2:50Speaker 1: story at that point going into it, and all I
- 2:53Speaker 1: saw was this very distraught looking young man. I was
- 2:57Speaker 1: do you I felt sick for you, like I started,
- 2:59Speaker 1: like when the story started coming out, and I don't
- 3:01Speaker 1: I don't know the woman who will remain nameless for
- 3:04Speaker 1: our purposes today, but I don't know. I just was like,
- 3:08Speaker 1: who is this poor man? And who what horrible woman
- 3:10Speaker 1: has done this to him? And you just were so sad.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And I was. It was It was a tough time.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And yes, you know I was in love with her
- 3:18Speaker 2: and wanted things to work out, but I think we
- 3:20Speaker 2: all agree and it was better for us to go
- 3:22Speaker 2: different directions. You'll see even on the new upcoming season
- 3:26Speaker 2: how post you know, break up and after the reunion
- 3:30Speaker 2: everything kind of unfolds. But yeah, I mean I think
- 3:32Speaker 2: we both are separately really happy and healthy.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm very glad to hear that.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So it all in a weird way, it kind of
- 3:37Speaker 2: went the right way. I guess.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I just think that sometimes people think that the one
- 3:40Speaker 1: who does the breaking up is not affective. But I'm
- 3:43Speaker 1: telling you, if anyone's out there is wondering this poor boy,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I think, like brob Conn, I probably text you like
- 3:48Speaker 1: six times like are you okay?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Very cool?
- 3:51Speaker 2: I mean I was, you know, there was all the
- 3:53Speaker 2: sand of all stuff and the scan of all stuff
- 3:55Speaker 2: going on.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I remember hearing the booze for him when he went
- 3:58Speaker 2: onto the panel, and when we got on our panel,
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't recall hearing booze, but it was funny. After
- 4:04Speaker 2: that day, I went to check social media and there
- 4:06Speaker 2: was lots of videos, posts, and there was a fair
- 4:07Speaker 2: amount of booing. But Carl, it is what it is.
- 4:10Speaker 2: It's a year ago. I'm much happier and healthier now.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I'm so glad.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I needed some time to kind of regroup and recover.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And you'll see even on the new season, I'm.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Becoming laughing about over here.
- 4:20Speaker 2: He was not okay. It'd be weird if he was okay.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, But don't you think that, like you didn't
- 4:25Speaker 1: get a lot of grace from That's that's the nature
- 4:28Speaker 1: I guess of these shows. But I mean, I again,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I didn't know the story. All I saw was this
- 4:32Speaker 1: very sad looking young man.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I got a lot of grace from people. That
- 4:37Speaker 2: It's more grace than I thought. I mean, people came
- 4:40Speaker 2: up to me at Bravo Con, A lot of fans
- 4:43Speaker 2: and people I've met at other bravocns were very complimentary
- 4:45Speaker 2: and kind. I had. Really to this day, I've never
- 4:48Speaker 2: really had anybody come up to my face and say
- 4:50Speaker 2: anything negative about it that situation at all.
- 4:54Speaker 3: The online yes, but nothing right.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So what are they called something warriors keyboard? The keyboard?
- 5:00Speaker 3: Yeah, West says the same thing. He's like, nobody's ever
- 5:02Speaker 3: been me into my face. So if you just put
- 5:04Speaker 3: your phone away, it's pretty much like the same life.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I mean, I have to say, like I am, it's
- 5:08Speaker 1: not going to seem like that after this, but I
- 5:10Speaker 1: am a girl's girl, like I really am. God, I've
- 5:12Speaker 1: always had a ton of girlfriends, and yet I was
- 5:16Speaker 1: I shouldn't say what the hell's who cares? But I mean,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I just I felt so bad for West. I thought,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I watched that last reunion and I was like, this,
- 5:24Speaker 1: poor little puppy dog, Like.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I don't think I knew. I mean when I went
- 5:29Speaker 2: in that morning, we were getting ready in the green room,
- 5:33Speaker 2: I don't think any I mean, I didn't expect some
- 5:35Speaker 2: of that. It looked like, you know, West was kind
- 5:38Speaker 2: of on his heels a little bit too. I don't
- 5:39Speaker 2: know if he was fully prepared for what the reunion
- 5:42Speaker 2: really is. Like, it's a big thing. There's a lot
- 5:44Speaker 2: of emotion, a lot of fe.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I messaged him the day before and I was like, hey, Bud,
- 5:48Speaker 3: you ready for Barrow, Like what are you going to say?
- 5:51Speaker 3: And he's like, I don't know. I hadn't really thought
- 5:53Speaker 3: about it, like maybe this, And I was like, you
- 5:55Speaker 3: shouldn't say that, like how about this? And he said
- 5:58Speaker 3: exactly what he had told me. Yeah, And it didn't
- 6:01Speaker 3: go well. I think you just sort of apologized more
- 6:04Speaker 3: for any mishaps.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, people break up, you know,
- 6:09Speaker 1: it's like, but people are so invested in in when
- 6:11Speaker 1: you're on one of these shows, they're so invested in you.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm thinking way more you all than me, but like
- 6:16Speaker 1: they've become so invested in right there anyway.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Well, I mean with those two, I mean they were
- 6:21Speaker 2: it was a real real thing, Like that's what's so.
- 6:23Speaker 2: It was the summer when we were they were exploring
- 6:26Speaker 2: that relationship. It was fun to watch them. Yeah that,
- 6:28Speaker 2: I mean, we were all rooting for West and Sierra, right.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Obviously it takes two to tango and it didn't materialize,
- 6:35Speaker 2: you know more than that. But I think at the
- 6:38Speaker 2: end of the day, I mean, I thought the reunion
- 6:39Speaker 2: it was good that, like Sierra got all that out
- 6:42Speaker 2: and West was able to Like I felt like there
- 6:44Speaker 2: was some growth from all of that.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You know. I think that part of it is a
- 6:49Speaker 1: me thing in that I watch sometimes reunions or I
- 6:51Speaker 1: don't like I don't like to see people get bully
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm tired of that. But I don't like to see
- 6:55Speaker 1: people get ganged up on, no matter what happened. Like,
- 6:58Speaker 1: for instance, I'm the only human talking who was I'm
- 7:01Speaker 1: not going to say I was team Raquel Raach whatever
- 7:04Speaker 1: her name is. I think it's Rachel, Rachel, Raquel whatever
- 7:07Speaker 1: that one. Yes, and scannedival sand of bal whatever they
- 7:11Speaker 1: but like so I didn't watch the whole season, but
- 7:13Speaker 1: when I saw that reunion, I was sick. I felt
- 7:15Speaker 1: so badly for that girl and I realized she slept
- 7:19Speaker 1: with her best friends or she was together and she
- 7:21Speaker 1: lied about it and she was a skanky cheat and
- 7:23Speaker 1: whatever the hell it was. But it got to a
- 7:25Speaker 1: point where I was like, this is not okay.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, girls are going to be girls girls though,
- 7:30Speaker 3: and I respect that, like they're best friends.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Oh you just suck up.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I mean it's true, Like it's Paige was going to
- 7:38Speaker 3: have Sierra's back ten times.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I don't mean that one necessarily. I'm really talking about
- 7:41Speaker 1: more of the Rachel raquel that when that went down
- 7:45Speaker 1: on that reunion, that was like they went full force.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, there was, I mean there was a lot that
- 7:50Speaker 2: was an intense I mean we I'm friends with fair
- 7:53Speaker 2: amount of them. You know. I was talking to Celia
- 7:56Speaker 2: earlier from my heart here and mentioning, you know, our
- 7:59Speaker 2: first episode of Summer Else in the history of the
- 8:01Speaker 2: show was with Katie, Kristen Stoss and Sheena, you know,
- 8:05Speaker 2: so we have a close relationship with Vanner Pump crew.
- 8:08Speaker 2: It was difficult to watch that because you know, you're
- 8:11Speaker 2: friends with everybody. I don't I'm upset with Sandoval obviously,
- 8:14Speaker 2: but it was a weird situation to kind of watch
- 8:17Speaker 2: because you know them so personally, but everybody's so angry,
- 8:21Speaker 2: so much vitriol. Yes, and I almost feel like the
- 8:24Speaker 2: audience had so much to say that the cast almost
- 8:27Speaker 2: like took that and gave it back.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I think that's probably true. I think that actually is
- 8:32Speaker 1: very true.
- 8:32Speaker 2: That is, I like, we just honest theory I have.
- 8:35Speaker 2: But again, yeah, when.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You're very right, because then all of a sudden, You're
- 8:38Speaker 1: so empowered because you take a step back, you see
- 8:41Speaker 1: how the world stands behind you.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I mean, even James Kenny was selling merchandise about the breakup,
- 8:47Speaker 2: like that's that's a people were leaning in, you know,
- 8:50Speaker 2: And I get it, like that kid is take advantage
- 8:52Speaker 2: of it.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I think that kids sell them much right now. But
- 8:54Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what We're not going
- 8:55Speaker 1: to go there. Yeah, you're okay, Jesse. So this is
- 8:59Speaker 1: how I met Jesse because Carl introduced me to Jesse
- 9:02Speaker 1: when I wrote my world renowned song Teams Divided. You
- 9:06Speaker 1: may have missed it. It's on the Peacock version didn't
- 9:09Speaker 1: make it to the actual version of the Real Housewives
- 9:11Speaker 1: of New Jersey. I know so, but unlike Jesse didn't
- 9:16Speaker 1: get right in the main cut. And I said to Carl,
- 9:19Speaker 1: is there any way can reach out to Jesse Solomon,
- 9:22Speaker 1: because clearly the boy knows how to write songs. And
- 9:25Speaker 1: it became this huge hit as well, And I said, Jesse,
- 9:28Speaker 1: can I make any money from this? And he said no,
- 9:31Speaker 1: he said, but you have yourself a good old time there.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Yeah, ladies, it wasn't a money making endeavor. It was
- 9:36Speaker 3: more just like a fun moment, and I mean, maybe
- 9:41Speaker 3: I'll have a music career. I've been writing music and
- 9:44Speaker 3: recording and eventually could perform and do live shows, hopefully
- 9:48Speaker 3: this summer.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's really cool.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but this streaming is not going to be where
- 9:53Speaker 3: you make your money unless you're getting like billions of stream.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Right, it's like you make like literally like I think
- 9:57Speaker 1: it's point one set.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Everybody's got their hands in the cookie jar. Yes, but
- 10:03Speaker 2: I think it was like that moment where Jesse, I mean,
- 10:06Speaker 2: the whole what would Jesse Solomon do became this joke
- 10:09Speaker 2: that Kyle was kind of screwing around, and then it
- 10:11Speaker 2: kind of stuck. And then Jesse obviously was telling us
- 10:14Speaker 2: about his background. He studied vocal dress jazz in college.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Like he was, you know, when we're getting ready, you know,
- 10:21Speaker 2: a Drake song comes on, and there was a song
- 10:23Speaker 2: and from that summer I'll never forget. And it's like
- 10:26Speaker 2: all of these hoes and like Jesse would take his
- 10:30Speaker 2: like jazz tone and turn like an explicit rap song
- 10:34Speaker 2: but in his jazz voice to play it.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Do they have it? They catch it?
- 10:37Speaker 2: I mean just around the house and stuff, but you
- 10:38Speaker 2: could hear him sing and you're actually realizing Jesse's really good. Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 2: and then as the summer, you know, was coming to
- 10:43Speaker 2: an end, he put together just a fun thing to
- 10:46Speaker 2: sing for us and kind of like end the summer.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It was awesome, but it was so in that moment
- 10:50Speaker 2: we're all like it was real. It was amazing. But
- 10:53Speaker 2: then yeah, he released the track. There was a couple
- 10:55Speaker 2: of remixes.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and listen, I didn't do it perfectly. I like
- 10:58Speaker 3: was so far behind releasing it, like I should have
- 11:01Speaker 3: released it with the episode.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But we got it out. We put it together now.
- 11:05Speaker 1: But I think it wouldn't have mattered.
- 11:06Speaker 2: But you're sick of it now, and I'm like, I'm sorry,
- 11:09Speaker 2: it's just one.
- 11:11Speaker 1: People just ask me for more every day. They just
- 11:13Speaker 1: want another. Not really, I'm sick of it. Actually, teams divided.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I know, it's so point you need another single now? Yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I know. It was probably the most fun thing that
- 11:21Speaker 1: I did of everything in terms of just like it's
- 11:25Speaker 1: so creative. It was for me. I mean, it was
- 11:27Speaker 1: so silly. There was nothing I didn't I didn't write
- 11:30Speaker 1: this ballad or this. You know, it wasn't but it
- 11:32Speaker 1: was fun. It's really for me. It was really fun
- 11:34Speaker 1: just to put those just point music.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Like with a lot of these shows, like you have
- 11:38Speaker 2: to contribute and bring you know, your life and your
- 11:41Speaker 2: story to it. And what I think makes shows like
- 11:44Speaker 2: yours or ours like really unique is you have really
- 11:46Speaker 2: dynamic people bringing like I mean, he wrote a song
- 11:49Speaker 2: like he's on Spotify, like he's a singer, and he's
- 11:51Speaker 2: been recorded like it was sat It's unexpected, but I
- 11:55Speaker 2: think it makes what we do so much more unique.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I agree that's summer forever, be concrete. It in our
- 12:01Speaker 2: minds and will always remember what would Jesse Solomon do?
- 12:04Speaker 2: And I think that's a really special.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Thing I do too. You're such a sweetheart of a
- 12:08Speaker 1: mass philosophical. He's philosophical, he's kind, he's generous. Seriously, Okay,
- 12:13Speaker 1: trust me.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I don't have it all figured out, but I certainly try.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And you're supportive of each other, and I love that.
- 12:19Speaker 3: I love Jesse.
- 12:20Speaker 2: He's been a really good addition to the group, but
- 12:22Speaker 2: also for me as a friend.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I've really really do you guys hang out like separately
- 12:27Speaker 1: and yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 2: We talk. I mean we're both like we both have
- 12:29Speaker 2: a lot going on, but I mean, he's we have
- 12:31Speaker 2: I think some similarities and some differences. But what's funny
- 12:34Speaker 2: is I almost see myself and him.
- 12:35Speaker 1: At that's stop taking it over here, that is my question.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Well, Carl's just like happy to have somebody else besides.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I was there remember any other guys on Summerhouse?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Well there was a funny season where I walked into
- 12:48Speaker 2: the house and one of the guys Chris. At that
- 12:50Speaker 2: summer I basically was like, all right, where are the guys?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Like?
- 12:55Speaker 3: I like this?
- 12:57Speaker 2: But Kyle and I, you know, we've we were best buddies.
- 13:00Speaker 2: We have a lot of fun together. But it's nice
- 13:02Speaker 2: when you have another layer of energy. Of course, Jesse
- 13:04Speaker 2: brings something different than I did, you know, and that's
- 13:06Speaker 2: something you know we've.
- 13:08Speaker 1: What does he bring this different?
- 13:09Speaker 3: Carl's like I was an alcoholic age and now Jesse
- 13:13Speaker 3: is a cocaine at it.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I know I could be wrong. Are you a big partier?
- 13:19Speaker 2: I mean, I will say Jesse's able to his behavior
- 13:22Speaker 2: like he can he can handle himself. He doesn't have
- 13:25Speaker 2: like those crazy outbursts like they would have.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And his no, I didn't mean you Actually.
- 13:30Speaker 3: There's a lot more healthy than mine.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Let's just got it.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Got it. But like, do you feel like you've taken
- 13:35Speaker 1: the role because you always need a partier, right, you
- 13:37Speaker 1: can't like it's hard to do it with if everybody
- 13:39Speaker 1: is going to be like sober and thoughtful and you
- 13:42Speaker 1: know that's actually well, I mean it is to us.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's hard to take nights off in the Summerhouse.
- 13:50Speaker 3: But I definitely drink a lot just more over the
- 13:55Speaker 3: Summer West is like the top partier in the group
- 13:58Speaker 3: for sure.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, I mean you you were hitting equinox,
- 14:01Speaker 2: you know. I think, to be fair, it's you are
- 14:03Speaker 2: also like when you have a big night, you're still
- 14:06Speaker 2: getting up and trying to work out or yeah, I
- 14:07Speaker 2: try to be healthy. He's he's a pretty healthy guy,
- 14:10Speaker 2: and I think it's inspiring to have a guy like
- 14:11Speaker 2: that around to like keep things.
- 14:13Speaker 3: I wasn't drinking martinis before.
- 14:15Speaker 1: By confessionals, Do you feel like it helps that's the
- 14:19Speaker 1: thing for.
- 14:20Speaker 2: First five seasons of Summerhouse, right, do you think.
- 14:23Speaker 1: It helped you, especially in your first season?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Chair Carl has incredible stories. Really, I was I parted
- 14:29Speaker 2: pretty hard early on whether the camera was rolling or not.
- 14:32Speaker 2: I didn't think about it. It just I would show up
- 14:34Speaker 2: to interviews sometimes.
- 14:35Speaker 1: And do you think it helped? Do you think that
- 14:37Speaker 1: it Like.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I'm not going to say it helped, but it's always.
- 14:41Speaker 1: To help you and your life and your psyche. But
- 14:43Speaker 1: do you think that it did?
- 14:44Speaker 3: You know you might have? Yeah, I think it created.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I almost had like a version of myself that was,
- 14:49Speaker 2: like my mom called it, it's like watching you on steroids,
- 14:51Speaker 2: like it's you, but it's not you. You're like this.
- 14:55Speaker 1: That must have been hard for her to watch.
- 14:56Speaker 2: She jokes that she used to throw stuff at the TV.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It's easy in this world to end up drinking every
- 15:03Speaker 3: night because we go to events and stuff and you
- 15:05Speaker 3: just kind of have to pick and choose. So like
- 15:07Speaker 3: sitting down in a confessional chair at two o'clock, I
- 15:10Speaker 3: try not to have a drink.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, So I was. I would go back and forth
- 15:14Speaker 1: with it, like is it a good idea for me
- 15:16Speaker 1: to take an edible before the reunion? Is it a
- 15:20Speaker 1: good idea?
- 15:20Speaker 2: No?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Not a good idea? Is it a good idea? Or
- 15:23Speaker 1: even like before you know, filming confessionals, like should I
- 15:26Speaker 1: or anything? I was really nervous about the finale? Should
- 15:29Speaker 1: I take half his his annex, well half it, like
- 15:31Speaker 1: will that work to make it? And I always got
- 15:34Speaker 1: back to not because when you fuck it up and
- 15:35Speaker 1: you're going to then like, if you fuck it up
- 15:38Speaker 1: and you're not there's nothing in your system, then it's
- 15:41Speaker 1: just it's fine, you did the best you could.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's you, right.
- 15:43Speaker 1: But if you fuck it up and it's because you
- 15:45Speaker 1: did an edible and you made it, ask of yourself
- 15:47Speaker 1: not so like you never forgive yourself so I didn't.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah that's good.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Well you're being you.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I mean you're showing that fear and that maybe that
- 15:54Speaker 2: stress you're having about whatever you were going to talk about. Yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 2: but the more like sober you are, the more real
- 16:00Speaker 2: or what you're sharing will be.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's very true.
- 16:02Speaker 2: You'll if you're taking his ANXT, you're like, god, it's fine, right, right,
- 16:06Speaker 2: it's not really who you are.
- 16:07Speaker 3: And there's a very fine line when filming. If you
- 16:10Speaker 3: have one drink maybe loosens you up a little bit.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Two drinks, okay, don't have another one because like if
- 16:16Speaker 3: I have three or four drinks and try to film
- 16:18Speaker 3: a scene.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I have you done that?
- 16:21Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, we have parties all the time, and
- 16:24Speaker 3: all of a sudden somebody pulls you over to chat
- 16:26Speaker 3: and you're just like, you can't remember what you were
- 16:28Speaker 3: trying to say, and you're just not good at your job.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Right now, we've had the drinking discussion. Now we're going
- 16:43Speaker 1: to talk girls. It's good because I know that's what
- 16:45Speaker 1: everybody listening really wants to know about. And so Carl,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you are still.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm single. I mean I've been, I've being on
- 16:52Speaker 2: some dates. You're putting myself back out there. But you'll
- 16:55Speaker 2: see on the new season, which, yeah, it took me
- 16:58Speaker 2: some time to get kind of back to my own,
- 17:00Speaker 2: getting my confidence.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I saw the celibacy comment or whatever.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I just full transparency. I mean I
- 17:06Speaker 2: have broke the streak already since Dog, but no, I
- 17:13Speaker 2: it took me some time just.
- 17:14Speaker 1: To imagine that girl, you know, and that you broke
- 17:16Speaker 1: the streak with.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I admitted that until it happened.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And where is she now?
- 17:22Speaker 2: She's in New York, pissed. No, we've texted and just
- 17:25Speaker 2: it never really materialized much after the summer. But okay, again,
- 17:29Speaker 2: I being a very public person and been on this
- 17:32Speaker 2: show for quite some time now, it presents some a
- 17:35Speaker 2: layer of challenge sometimes with meeting and dating of course,
- 17:39Speaker 2: so I've I've had some things where you know, people
- 17:42Speaker 2: maybe have other ulterior motives or someone that I'm interested
- 17:46Speaker 2: in just doesn't want anything to do with this, right,
- 17:48Speaker 2: you know, So it can be either way, but which
- 17:49Speaker 2: is understandable.
- 17:51Speaker 3: If I wasn't going to be on the show, I
- 17:53Speaker 3: would not want to be on the show. And what
- 17:55Speaker 3: I mean by that is like, if I was a
- 17:57Speaker 3: main character on the show, that's great. Your life is
- 18:00Speaker 3: in the public eye and whatever, you get the benefits.
- 18:03Speaker 3: But if you're just like a partner of someone and
- 18:05Speaker 3: like you just have your life on display for no
- 18:09Speaker 3: good reason and you're working a corporate job, like it
- 18:11Speaker 3: can bring a lot of well drama.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I will tell you that my husband is a corporate
- 18:15Speaker 1: attorney and he is an introvert. He is like this
- 18:19Speaker 1: this shot. I mean, you would think not in business.
- 18:22Speaker 1: He's not shy and not really when you know him,
- 18:24Speaker 1: but he's like put, we're polar opposites, and there's no
- 18:27Speaker 1: one that loves being on this show and he loves
- 18:29Speaker 1: as Jeff Wessler. It is so stupid he is, and
- 18:34Speaker 1: it's it's actually like.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Now, has that created any kind of polarization with like
- 18:38Speaker 2: his legal career.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Or no, as a matter of fact, he has new clients. No,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I don't know that's got new clients. But he gets
- 18:46Speaker 1: like he goes places, he goes to whatever holiday parties
- 18:49Speaker 1: now and it's like a whole thing and it's whoa
- 18:52Speaker 1: excuse me? Are you just do whatever? So he he
- 18:56Speaker 1: just he thinks it's like it's so awesome.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It is not now was he? Was he that recept
- 19:01Speaker 2: like when you got the the concept.
- 19:02Speaker 1: If he pushed my ass into it, he was like,
- 19:04Speaker 1: you have to do this, You'll never that's he did
- 19:08Speaker 1: it for himself. He has a great supportive husband all
- 19:11Speaker 1: for him. But he's like, we know, I don't think
- 19:13Speaker 1: he's we've hit any speed bumps. But I've said to him, like, dude,
- 19:17Speaker 1: you're not doing going to the boys party whatever it is,
- 19:19Speaker 1: So you're not going to whatever. Not that I can
- 19:22Speaker 1: tell him what to do, but I'm like, you have
- 19:24Speaker 1: to try to maintain you're not an entrepreneur like these guys,
- 19:27Speaker 1: like you have to maintain some dignity here. And if
- 19:30Speaker 1: it were up to him, he'd be in every scene.
- 19:33Speaker 2: So yeah, well, I will say that the New Jersey
- 19:35Speaker 2: Men it's it's entertaining to see just the dynamic of
- 19:39Speaker 2: some of the the energy and the boy they have
- 19:42Speaker 2: a funny group.
- 19:43Speaker 1: They have a funny group, and as a.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Group of guys on our side, it's fun to like
- 19:47Speaker 2: see how the older gentlemen are behaving. I mean they
- 19:50Speaker 2: still rip their shirts off, they're doing push ups, they're
- 19:52Speaker 2: yelling at each other, they're grilling, they're nuts. They're doing
- 19:55Speaker 2: stuff that we kind of do.
- 19:56Speaker 1: But and Jeff loves that because Jeff is like he's
- 19:58Speaker 1: so buttoned up a day to day, so like all
- 20:02Speaker 1: of a sudden, he's like thinks he's in like some frat.
- 20:05Speaker 2: He's amazing.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I see.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I was like, I mean later stages.
- 20:11Speaker 3: To kind of be a jackass.
- 20:12Speaker 1: So the only time he got in trouble was recently
- 20:14Speaker 1: because from uh like one of the head partners because
- 20:19Speaker 1: I went into his office too and I was doing
- 20:22Speaker 1: some content whatever I hate that word, but I was
- 20:24Speaker 1: doing filming things on a camera on an iPhone and
- 20:29Speaker 1: my pr gu was like, whatever, we're going from a
- 20:30Speaker 1: room and I went into the copy room and I
- 20:32Speaker 1: pulled up They still called it you guys play, even
- 20:35Speaker 1: though what a xerox machine is okay. Well I pretended
- 20:37Speaker 1: I was, like I put my thing on, I put
- 20:39Speaker 1: my boobs on or whatever, and now I'm like job
- 20:41Speaker 1: And I thought it was. It was all so funny
- 20:43Speaker 1: until the morning when like the managing partner called him,
- 20:45Speaker 1: like the managing partner, Jeff listen, we have some partners
- 20:50Speaker 1: here that are not thrilled with the behavior of your wife.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Basically banned from he works at thirty Rock. I'm like,
- 20:56Speaker 1: not allowed up there.
- 20:59Speaker 2: On the zero.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Actually do it? It was, it was. It was a
- 21:04Speaker 1: bit you don't want to believe me. You're okay without
- 21:06Speaker 1: a copy of that? All right? So wait, so girls,
- 21:09Speaker 1: so and I know if you guys probably get these
- 21:11Speaker 1: this constantly. Right, everyone wants to know what kind of
- 21:13Speaker 1: girl you like? What are you looking for? Right? No?
- 21:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no, yeah, I think, well, how are.
- 21:19Speaker 1: You meeting girls right now?
- 21:21Speaker 2: I mean hinch that. I don't do apps personally. I've
- 21:25Speaker 2: never done it again. I'm thirty nine, So the app
- 21:28Speaker 2: thing was a little later. In my kind of dating world.
- 21:31Speaker 2: The dating app, I believe is Instagram. Yeah, Ostagram, everybody's
- 21:35Speaker 2: on it. Do you do that?
- 21:36Speaker 1: Rya one?
- 21:37Speaker 3: I'm on Riya, but I haven't been meeting up with
- 21:41Speaker 3: a lot of people to go on dates.
- 21:42Speaker 1: What's the difference, Raya is just cooler, You're cooler, pretty accepted.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I believe it. Yeah, it's like these of dating apps,
- 21:49Speaker 3: but like if you want to get onto it, you
- 21:51Speaker 3: can figure it out.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I heard from one of my colleagues with that soft bar.
- 21:55Speaker 2: She's on Riya and she said that no one responds.
- 21:59Speaker 2: It's like this thing where it's cool to be seen
- 22:01Speaker 2: on it.
- 22:02Speaker 1: You're nodding about over there. Is that true?
- 22:04Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Maybe, like it's fun like when you actually are looking
- 22:08Speaker 2: to make a move to ask someone out the like
- 22:11Speaker 2: return or like the actually really percentage that it actually lands.
- 22:15Speaker 3: She said.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I like, no one's really ever responded to any like
- 22:18Speaker 2: thing I've sent that. I don't know white people respond
- 22:21Speaker 2: to me, but I throw listen.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I like to meet people out there.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Is this guy, he's a professors, Scott Galloway. I don't know.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I've heard of him.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Have you heard of him? So he's this professor. He
- 22:38Speaker 1: talks about the plight really of like young men in
- 22:40Speaker 1: our country and what's happening. He talks about a lot
- 22:43Speaker 1: of things, but you know, having these young men that
- 22:46Speaker 1: have had their head in their phone, swiping, swiping, swiping,
- 22:49Speaker 1: and are getting rejective, rejective, rejected, and you know, as
- 22:54Speaker 1: a result, I feel like shit about themselves because I
- 22:58Speaker 1: don't know what for the self or self esteem. And
- 23:02Speaker 1: now you're like not going out and you're not having
- 23:04Speaker 1: the experience of like going to a bar. And he
- 23:08Speaker 1: talks about the men, but I'm sure it goes both ways.
- 23:10Speaker 1: But like you know what the women are looking for.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Let's say it's tall. That's all I wanted when I
- 23:16Speaker 1: was fixed up, when I was at your age, I
- 23:19Speaker 1: was like, he just has to be tall. He doesn't
- 23:21Speaker 1: have to be gorgeous. I don't. He doesn't have to
- 23:24Speaker 1: be rich, he does have to be ambitious, because my
- 23:26Speaker 1: grandmother Nana used to say, he doesn't have to be rich,
- 23:28Speaker 1: he has to be ambitious. But tall is the number one.
- 23:31Speaker 1: My husband's five to five. So but I'm saying, like
- 23:35Speaker 1: you can put it out all out there. I broke
- 23:37Speaker 1: one hundred percent, broke my rule.
- 23:40Speaker 2: But he's the ambitious he yes, so he makes up
- 23:43Speaker 2: for the ambition with yes.
- 23:45Speaker 1: He just wore me down in the end, But like
- 23:46Speaker 1: that's also part of it, Like no, because that is
- 23:50Speaker 1: a real, but because when you're just behind your phone
- 23:53Speaker 1: but you're both saying you love. But it must be
- 23:54Speaker 1: fun for you guys to go out because you're you.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So you get to go out and like, you know,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you walk into a bar and you're both you know,
- 23:59Speaker 1: good looking and TV stars.
- 24:01Speaker 3: So I spend half the year in Miami, and Miami
- 24:04Speaker 3: nobody knows who I am.
- 24:05Speaker 2: For the part I can't confirm. We we visited Jesse
- 24:09Speaker 2: Kyle West, and I went down for Kyle had a
- 24:11Speaker 2: DJ gig, but we were out and about with Jesse.
- 24:14Speaker 2: It was funny, like we were just regular Miami guys
- 24:16Speaker 2: that night, you know, we had his group of friends
- 24:18Speaker 2: and we met up and it was fun. But it
- 24:20Speaker 2: wasn't like it is in New York City or like an.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Hour we walked into a bar in New York and
- 24:23Speaker 3: it's like can we get a picture? Which is it's fun,
- 24:26Speaker 3: it's fun, but it's not Miami. It wasn't like that.
- 24:29Speaker 2: It was you know, almost everybody was just kind of
- 24:31Speaker 2: in their own group of friends and doing their own thing.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Maybe they noticed us from Afar, but.
- 24:36Speaker 3: They're like, who are those tall guys? You know, two
- 24:38Speaker 3: six for five guys Jabroni's.
- 24:40Speaker 2: They're from the Jewish Basketball League's Jabroni is like a squid,
- 24:46Speaker 2: like a wet noodle.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Grabroni is something that you're like kind of floppy, Like
- 24:50Speaker 1: you're so tall that you're just like weird looking.
- 24:52Speaker 3: No, you're like a goofball, You're like a you're corny,
- 24:55Speaker 3: you're kind of a weirdo.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Gibroni is a loser. Jayne the Rock Johnson used
- 24:59Speaker 2: to call people jibbroni's with his character of The Rock. Yeah,
- 25:04Speaker 2: on his wrestling career, he'd call you like you little Jibbroni, Wow,
- 25:07Speaker 2: and it's like, you're kind of a loser.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I'm learning things, learning new things all the time. I
- 25:11Speaker 1: love hanging out with the young people.
- 25:12Speaker 3: We'll keep you on teach some things.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Tell me, so okay, I'm gonna try to stay on topic. Carl,
- 25:18Speaker 1: tell me the kind of girl you're looking for. And
- 25:21Speaker 1: obviously it doesn't matter because in the end you're going
- 25:22Speaker 1: to say all of these things, and some they're just
- 25:26Speaker 1: going to show up and you're gonna die a little
- 25:27Speaker 1: bit inside and then that will be that. But what
- 25:29Speaker 1: do you think you're looking for?
- 25:32Speaker 2: You know, I appreciate that's not a requirement though, I
- 25:35Speaker 2: think just a healthy relationship with alcohol or other substances.
- 25:39Speaker 2: But I mean, honestly, like I've I'd like to think
- 25:42Speaker 2: that I could date someone that has a healthy relationship
- 25:44Speaker 2: with alcohol. I still love being social.
- 25:46Speaker 3: She likes benefits and her mushroom goffees.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Functional benefits in her drinks.
- 25:50Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 25:51Speaker 3: That's a soft bar thing.
- 25:53Speaker 1: He's trying to mushrooms at the softbar.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Healthy mushrooms not psychedelic.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I don't give a ship what they are as long
- 25:59Speaker 1: as they make.
- 25:59Speaker 2: You, They make you happy, make you feel good. We
- 26:02Speaker 2: certain no, not psychic at all. It's adaptogen and new
- 26:05Speaker 2: tropic mushroom. People take them every morning as like a
- 26:08Speaker 2: morning you take vitamins in the morning.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Do you hear good things about mushrooms telling you?
- 26:13Speaker 2: Quote me right now, every major hospitality, coffee shop, bar
- 26:18Speaker 2: in the next five years is going to have a
- 26:20Speaker 2: mushroom drink on the menu.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Heard it here first, I'm writing it down around it.
- 26:25Speaker 2: It's changing like people have it in drinks canned beverages. Now,
- 26:29Speaker 2: when when you walk into a bar or a coffee shop,
- 26:31Speaker 2: you'll be able to add that into your beverage a
- 26:33Speaker 2: functional ingredient.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I love that. I would love to find something I
- 26:36Speaker 3: could do that's not alcohol that makes me feel like
- 26:40Speaker 3: socially like am out. Yeah, but I'll take a small
- 26:46Speaker 3: gummy or smoke like a pen or something if I'm out.
- 26:49Speaker 3: But it doesn't do the same thing alcohol though. Yeah, yes,
- 26:54Speaker 3: maybe it's functional mushrooms.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Right, Maybe you.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Were asking what I'm looking for in a woman and
- 26:58Speaker 2: we got into mushrooms. It's talk about when I.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Can always be sidetracked if you're going to talk about
- 27:02Speaker 1: anything of a loucinogen, what I'm looking for.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Or what I'm like.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Intelligence is important to me. I like someone that can
- 27:09Speaker 2: hold a good conversation. I like some depth, like emotional
- 27:12Speaker 2: intelligence where I've been through a fair amount of things.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I don't want to trauma dump on someone the first
- 27:16Speaker 2: two minutes, but but I will. But yeah, well, there
- 27:20Speaker 2: are inherently some things that have been very public about
- 27:22Speaker 2: my life, you know, certain things that people know me
- 27:26Speaker 2: for to some degree. You know, I've been through some
- 27:28Speaker 2: stuff and I I'm not expecting someone to like baby
- 27:31Speaker 2: me or anything, but someone who can have some grace
- 27:33Speaker 2: and understanding around someone, Honey.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I'm not Listen, you're young to me, but like at
- 27:37Speaker 1: thirty eight, there's no one that hasn't had that doesn't.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Have stuff totally.
- 27:41Speaker 1: So that's the good news. You're not going to meet
- 27:43Speaker 1: a woman who has not been by thirty eight.
- 27:45Speaker 2: But then outside of that, you know, I love it.
- 27:47Speaker 2: I'm goofy. I'm a kind of a silly guy. I
- 27:49Speaker 2: like to make jokes, and I want someone that can
- 27:51Speaker 2: bring that out of me. So someone who's witty or funny, right,
- 27:54Speaker 2: and someone who ambition. I like someone who's active and
- 27:57Speaker 2: likes to work out. Uh. And then obviously physically, I
- 27:59Speaker 2: mean I'm six to five, there is like a height
- 28:03Speaker 2: cutoff for me because if I'm getting up to talk
- 28:05Speaker 2: to you and I got to go, how are you harro?
- 28:10Speaker 2: I like tiny?
- 28:11Speaker 1: You like tiny?
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah, he likes doing that.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Okay wait wait wait wait okay, so but yet so
- 28:15Speaker 1: physically as you can't just stop there. So hopefully tall
- 28:18Speaker 1: ish so not doesn't have to be someone could be
- 28:22Speaker 1: five to five.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I dated like five eleven in college. I dated some
- 28:25Speaker 2: Syracuse women's volleyball players. But as I've gotten older, I
- 28:29Speaker 2: mean five seven, five eight around that I think fits
- 28:33Speaker 2: really well in tiny for me is like five six.
- 28:35Speaker 1: By the way, really that's tiny. That's not tiny. Yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 1: that's me actually so and no one's ever called me
- 28:41Speaker 1: tiny so physically. Also, just elaborate for a moment.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I'd like to I've had this thought in my head
- 28:47Speaker 2: that a brunette would look really good.
- 28:50Speaker 1: With me with you, because it's about how somebody would.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Look with you, right, I mean, I think you're I've
- 28:55Speaker 2: always been attracted to brunettes. However, I have dated blondes.
- 28:58Speaker 2: I'm attracted them all colors, shapes and sizes, yes, but
- 29:02Speaker 2: in this particular moment I'm looking for, I think brunette. Okay,
- 29:06Speaker 2: I really like light eyes.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Really notice that common theme doesn't matter, blonde or burnett.
- 29:11Speaker 2: What color are your eyes? Like a brown hazel?
- 29:15Speaker 1: My daughter has uh, blue eyes, but we already discussed
- 29:18Speaker 1: that that's not going to happen for you, my friend.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Okay, And I'm going to add one last thing that
- 29:22Speaker 2: I'm looking for. I do appreciate someone that doesn't necessarily
- 29:26Speaker 2: they can put on makeup and get dulled up, but
- 29:29Speaker 2: for their core, like without it, they're very pretty and
- 29:32Speaker 2: just naturally, you know, look good. Yes, they could write
- 29:36Speaker 2: I think you know, I've I just would like that.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I guess you want to wake up in the morning
- 29:39Speaker 1: and get like fucking scared, right right.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Well, I think is that scared? I think just some
- 29:44Speaker 2: people could look like I think women are very pretty
- 29:46Speaker 2: without makeup on or post workout or I know it's
- 29:49Speaker 2: every guy says that, right, you know, like just with
- 29:51Speaker 2: your sweatpants all you're so hot.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 29:54Speaker 2: However, I think women don't realize, like when you get
- 29:57Speaker 2: all dulled like you know many jacket blazers dressing. Yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 2: I have to literally get a dry clean twice because
- 30:06Speaker 2: all the makeup that's all over my ship.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Like women, I know you weren't I know you weren't.
- 30:25Speaker 2: All right, jess uh my type?
- 30:28Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, my type. I haven't really figured it out
- 30:34Speaker 3: a lot of the things Carl said. I need somebody intelligent,
- 30:38Speaker 3: somebody sweet and cute and just like a good mother
- 30:43Speaker 3: to my future children, somebody that wants kids and active
- 30:48Speaker 3: works out.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So here's my question. Do you think about the women
- 30:54Speaker 1: that you have had relationships with, do they fit that
- 30:56Speaker 1: mold what you just described.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, for the.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Most part, but there's some things missing, I would say, Okay,
- 31:03Speaker 3: And it also wasn't the right time.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Okay I was too young, Yeah, I would say I
- 31:09Speaker 2: would flip it. I wasn't ready for you know, my
- 31:13Speaker 2: previous relationships. They certainly may have had those qualities, but
- 31:16Speaker 2: I wasn't the version that they were looking for.
- 31:18Speaker 3: In return.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I always think that, like, no matter what the timing is,
- 31:22Speaker 1: no matter what your requirements are, like when something happens,
- 31:26Speaker 1: when like the pheromones start popping and everything else goes away,
- 31:32Speaker 1: all the all the different rules. But let me ask
- 31:34Speaker 1: you this, because I asked Wes about West about this,
- 31:38Speaker 1: So are you guys attracted to Himen? Usually? So he
- 31:42Speaker 1: was saying he likes the chase the key would prefer
- 31:47Speaker 1: even though we didn't like it, maybe in the moment,
- 31:48Speaker 1: but he does better with women that do put up
- 31:51Speaker 1: a bit, Yes, of a challenge, don't get they We
- 31:54Speaker 1: shouldn't put it like that. But yes, yes, yes, you.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Have to work to work.
- 31:57Speaker 3: If I say that, it does it matter how quickly
- 32:01Speaker 3: you hook up with someone, whether that's proven true or not.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Is another Well you tell me from your own experience.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I mean, listen, everybody likes a little bit of a chase,
- 32:10Speaker 3: But that's not to say that if I hooked up
- 32:12Speaker 3: with somebody like two dates in, I couldn't actually really
- 32:15Speaker 3: like them and have a relationship with them.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Well two dates in is holding out these days? I
- 32:19Speaker 1: feel like so in a little bit now, Okay.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say having sex on a first date
- 32:26Speaker 2: is rare.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Really you went to college.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Well, you don't go on like super formal dates in college, right,
- 32:33Speaker 2: I think you have to go out. Yeah, it's like
- 32:35Speaker 2: a one night stand. You just meet someone and the
- 32:37Speaker 2: pheromones are rushing. There isn't a date at all. It's
- 32:39Speaker 2: just back to your place, maybe a minor hangout and
- 32:41Speaker 2: the sleeping because it.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Felt it feels like to me, like my both my
- 32:44Speaker 1: kids now graduated from college. But I don't know when
- 32:47Speaker 1: I would go there, even when I would like be
- 32:49Speaker 1: around their friends, Like everybody was just slipping in and
- 32:51Speaker 1: out of beds and it was like a different time.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Well, hook up culture is prevent culture. Yeah, it's thing,
- 33:00Speaker 3: but it shifted.
- 33:01Speaker 2: I mean not to date myself too much, but I
- 33:03Speaker 2: mean Facebook was started my freshman year I was at
- 33:08Speaker 2: Syracuse University. I had a friend who went to Harvard
- 33:10Speaker 2: who had told me about it, but it didn't His name.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Isn't he the one the event?
- 33:18Speaker 2: It was Tyler Winklevoss.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Oh what right? One of those twins, the.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Twins whose idea originally was right. But they're doing really well.
- 33:25Speaker 2: They have cryptocurrency.
- 33:26Speaker 1: How do you know this?
- 33:26Speaker 2: Why do you know that?
- 33:29Speaker 3: So much stuff?
- 33:30Speaker 2: Gemini, Billboard and Times. I pay attention to everything. Okay,
- 33:35Speaker 2: Harvard Facebook. So sophomore year at Syracuse Facebook landed because
- 33:39Speaker 2: you had to have a university email to get an account,
- 33:42Speaker 2: and Facebook only started in the northeast Ivy League schools
- 33:45Speaker 2: and like Cornell, Syracuse and like Battle, when Facebook came
- 33:49Speaker 2: on campus, it changed everything for hook up culture. You
- 33:52Speaker 2: could poke people, you could see what looked like poke
- 33:57Speaker 2: they you could see the sorority cruise right. You could
- 34:00Speaker 2: identify people that you wouldn't otherwise meet unless you actually
- 34:05Speaker 2: went up to them in real life and said, who
- 34:06Speaker 2: are you? Right, you now have all this information, So
- 34:09Speaker 2: I believe it all changed at that point.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Don't you think that that's like what we were talking
- 34:13Speaker 1: about a little bit before. But like, that's part of
- 34:15Speaker 1: the issue is meeting like this whole swipe culture, right,
- 34:19Speaker 1: and not being able to actually talk to someone and
- 34:21Speaker 1: look them in the eye.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And you know, well, I think it goes for like
- 34:25Speaker 2: professional careers. Yeah, I mean I get emails sent to me,
- 34:28Speaker 2: and the communication quality it's pretty poor. I mean obviously
- 34:32Speaker 2: with texting and shorter communications, but like if you can
- 34:36Speaker 2: speak well and write well and communicate like professionally and personally,
- 34:40Speaker 2: you're going to have a pretty good life. These days, we're.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Talking about people being alone by themselves and not being
- 34:46Speaker 3: able to hook up with people, and now we're saying
- 34:47Speaker 3: there's hookup culture.
- 34:49Speaker 2: There's just like different.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Types of different right. No, I'm not I'm not loyal
- 34:53Speaker 1: saying anything. We're just shooting the ship. But what I'm
- 34:55Speaker 1: thinking is that in college there I think it's a
- 34:58Speaker 1: huge hookup culture after college when you're young and you're single.
- 35:02Speaker 1: But I think that there are a lot of men
- 35:04Speaker 1: now and that are having a hard time because they're
- 35:06Speaker 1: not many people hook up cultures, just the way in
- 35:09Speaker 1: which people meet each other.
- 35:10Speaker 2: In the app, I was just saying, I think a
- 35:11Speaker 2: lot of men at least. What I am just being
- 35:13Speaker 2: completely honest, Like there's a lot of porn. Instagram to
- 35:16Speaker 2: some degree is soft porn. So you have all this
- 35:18Speaker 2: oh you're watching I mean, look at our the girls
- 35:22Speaker 2: of Summerhouse. How far our girls look amazing like it?
- 35:24Speaker 2: Do you see Instagram pictures that aren't porn?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Yes?
- 35:27Speaker 2: The girls, all the girls, all the girls get such
- 35:31Speaker 2: good rate. What I'm saying is Instagram in a weird
- 35:34Speaker 2: way is not unlike soft porn to some degree. Yes, no,
- 35:38Speaker 2: but everybody wants it in real life. Agreed. But I
- 35:41Speaker 2: think for men that become you get so accustomed to
- 35:44Speaker 2: like being on this app, and like you lose the
- 35:47Speaker 2: ability to generate a genuine in real life connection, not
- 35:52Speaker 2: only because you already have all this information, but like
- 35:54Speaker 2: just actually asking someone a question, learning, where are you from?
- 35:57Speaker 2: Where'd you go to school?
- 35:58Speaker 1: I guess what can ignite this?
- 36:00Speaker 2: You already have it all here? Yes, and if you
- 36:02Speaker 2: like so, I think men, unfortunately, if you don't get
- 36:04Speaker 2: off social you're going to struggle in dating.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I agree.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I mean, you need to be on there so you're
- 36:10Speaker 2: not a serial killer. But if that's how you're only
- 36:12Speaker 2: going to like find or search for people, I think
- 36:14Speaker 2: it's going to be a challenge.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Well you Also, this guy also says that like you
- 36:18Speaker 1: need to when you're young, go out there, like make
- 36:21Speaker 1: bad decisions, screw it up. Like meet girls.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yeah, ask someone out and fall on your face and.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Fall on your face and get rejected and ask someone else,
- 36:30Speaker 1: ask someone out again. Like, I think that's a big
- 36:33Speaker 1: part of it, and.
- 36:33Speaker 2: It's it's easy to be social in New York especially.
- 36:37Speaker 3: You can literally just go outside of your house if
- 36:39Speaker 3: you don't like to drink, join a kickball league. You know,
- 36:41Speaker 3: there's plenty to do for everyone.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Kickball, kickball, leak the summer house. Yeah, West put together summerhouse.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Guys are dorks? Do you say kickball league?
- 36:51Speaker 3: Hey?
- 36:52Speaker 2: Girls like you Wes no dog wow. No, It's just
- 36:57Speaker 2: like an easy game everybody can play well, I think,
- 36:59Speaker 2: with Jesse also adding to in New York and this
- 37:02Speaker 2: is again something I see happening is how people are
- 37:06Speaker 2: gathering as groups of friends. The days of going to
- 37:09Speaker 2: the nightclub till four in the morning are shifting. Yes,
- 37:11Speaker 2: people still do that, but friends and people that are
- 37:14Speaker 2: trying to connect with each other are joining run clubs,
- 37:16Speaker 2: They're joining community groups, yoga classes, berries, boot camps, kickball
- 37:20Speaker 2: leagues because it's something that's not just at a bar.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Well, what happens at these kickball games is what do
- 37:25Speaker 2: you do after the game? Go to the door, hang out.
- 37:28Speaker 2: So it's social, it's it's how people meet each other.
- 37:30Speaker 3: That's my issue with New York is I feel like
- 37:32Speaker 3: all there is to do is eat and drink, and
- 37:33Speaker 3: obviously there's museums and other stuff, but I think just
- 37:36Speaker 3: like the amount of space you have here just kind
- 37:40Speaker 3: of makes me feel closet.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I mean in terms of what, like you can't go
- 37:43Speaker 1: on a hike, yeah, because I'm min's like, what else
- 37:46Speaker 1: is there to do but eat and drink and like kind.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Of go like to Upstate New York and go for
- 37:51Speaker 2: a hike, but I'm just not going to right. I
- 37:53Speaker 2: think the city does like not to make it about
- 37:56Speaker 2: like I think when the city can have another side
- 37:59Speaker 2: to it. And I didn't know that until actually like
- 38:01Speaker 2: stopped drinking. The museums, the art, the concerts.
- 38:04Speaker 1: You do that stuff.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Now I still do all of that, but it's actually
- 38:07Speaker 2: way more enjoyable because you don't realize how much is
- 38:09Speaker 2: in front of us. Where I was the previous ten
- 38:12Speaker 2: years in New York soho clubs, West Village bars, Brooklyn
- 38:16Speaker 2: after hours, I didn't I never been to Central Park
- 38:19Speaker 2: sober Wow until.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Twenty twenty one.
- 38:22Speaker 2: What were you doing in the park, drug drinking in
- 38:24Speaker 2: Sheep's meadow, having a great time like most people do.
- 38:28Speaker 2: But I never had an experience with New York, like
- 38:31Speaker 2: just realizing, Oh, like I went to a Broadway show
- 38:32Speaker 2: two weeks ago with my parents. I'm like, oh, like,
- 38:34Speaker 2: this is like a what did you say? Book of Mormon?
- 38:38Speaker 2: I heard that, but that I enjoyed it, But I
- 38:40Speaker 2: will say Wicked is still better in my opening, I
- 38:43Speaker 2: enjoy Wicked more. I love South Park, and when I
- 38:46Speaker 2: watched Book of Mormon, it felt to me like a
- 38:49Speaker 2: bizarre South Park live action episode. Interesting because the tone
- 38:54Speaker 2: of the jokes and the singing. It feels like bigger, longer,
- 38:57Speaker 2: and uncut, which is one of their best South Park
- 39:00Speaker 2: movies early on.
- 39:01Speaker 1: It's so funny because when I was your age is,
- 39:05Speaker 1: but I lived in New York for like eleven years.
- 39:08Speaker 2: And what neighborhood you live in?
- 39:09Speaker 1: All over the place. I was taking garbage bags of
- 39:11Speaker 1: clothes and moving from one shithole to the next, Like
- 39:14Speaker 1: was your favorite years? Yeah? My favorite was my last
- 39:17Speaker 1: one on forty sixth and second.
- 39:19Speaker 2: And it was it's like Turtle Bay.
- 39:20Speaker 1: It is right by like Spark Steakhouse, and uh, Smith
- 39:24Speaker 1: and Lenski's right there. So anyway, I had this little
- 39:29Speaker 1: hovel facing a brick wall. But it was the first one.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Really is that a Jewish word? No, a Yiddish word.
- 39:35Speaker 1: No, it means like a little hole, a little like shitty,
- 39:38Speaker 1: little holly small. I mean, I don't know if somebody
- 39:41Speaker 1: look it up.
- 39:42Speaker 2: I was today years old when I learned to hovel. Wow,
- 39:44Speaker 2: see that?
- 39:45Speaker 1: What could happen to you?
- 39:45Speaker 2: If you come on, just Jen, just gen you get
- 39:48Speaker 2: the last.
- 39:51Speaker 1: A small, squalid, unpleasant or simply constructed dwelling. That was
- 39:55Speaker 1: my favorite place to live in this novel because it
- 39:58Speaker 1: was also mine. I didn't have any room. It's at
- 40:00Speaker 1: this point. It was the last place I lived in
- 40:02Speaker 1: New York, and it was just I loved that it
- 40:05Speaker 1: was small. And Jeff Wessel used to be like, I
- 40:07Speaker 1: would keep my underwear and drawers like under the bed,
- 40:10Speaker 1: like because there was just no room space for everything.
- 40:14Speaker 1: But yes, and he was so pleased with himself when
- 40:18Speaker 1: we got together and I moved into his place in Gottenburg,
- 40:21Speaker 1: New Jersey. He thought he had saved me. I'm like, dude,
- 40:24Speaker 1: I love that place like I would go back there today.
- 40:26Speaker 1: It faced a brick wall. I didn't care. But like
- 40:29Speaker 1: back in the day, it's a shame when you're young
- 40:31Speaker 1: in New York sometimes and it's wasted on the young
- 40:34Speaker 1: because that's what I did. I just went out and
- 40:36Speaker 1: I went to Sheep's Meadow and got fucked up, and
- 40:39Speaker 1: then I would would think about what club I was
- 40:41Speaker 1: going to, where I was going to go that night.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I was never I was always just like I had
- 40:46Speaker 1: ten million different jobs, a different you guys have summer house.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's like a totally different thing. But I really wasn't
- 40:52Speaker 1: passionate about anything except boys and like friends and whatever.
- 40:57Speaker 1: And I missed it. I missed New York, you know
- 40:59Speaker 1: what I mean. We were talking about moving back here
- 41:02Speaker 1: potentially or getting like that's going. I can't even say that.
- 41:06Speaker 2: One had a tear.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I know what, I know what the word is.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I have a lot of money for another home, yes.
- 41:12Speaker 1: But I always feel like it sounds like it's going
- 41:13Speaker 1: to be like a love nest. And I'm not implying
- 41:15Speaker 1: that I'm interested in that term.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I don't know who TikTok that works. In
- 41:20Speaker 2: the last two years, but it came back. It's like,
- 41:22Speaker 2: what the it's the only way people talk about their
- 41:24Speaker 2: second home.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Now, Yes, I feel so pretentious.
- 41:27Speaker 3: There's a house on pas over a million dollars. Really, yes,
- 41:34Speaker 3: I didn't know that might.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Not be a facted up my whole idea now, Jeff Spcer, Wow, thanks, Yeah, I.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Could maybe should go see if your hovel is still
- 41:43Speaker 2: standing on forty second in six or forty six and second.
- 41:47Speaker 1: But I loved it. It had a doorman, I felt safe.
- 41:50Speaker 1: It was really cool. I absolutely loved that place. Both
- 41:52Speaker 1: my kids now have places, and I called. I just
- 41:56Speaker 1: actually stayed overnight right down the block here at a
- 41:59Speaker 1: place called the Michael Angelo Hotels. Tonight did very well
- 42:02Speaker 1: by me, for I want to say, it was like
- 42:04Speaker 1: three hundred bucks, which is unheard of, unheard of especially
- 42:07Speaker 1: during the holiday season. Very nice hotel.
- 42:10Speaker 2: So you stayed over night last night?
- 42:12Speaker 1: I did because I had an event last night. I
- 42:15Speaker 1: had an event, an Israel event, and that I think
- 42:17Speaker 1: I was telling you guys. Michael Rappport yes, yeah, okay, yeah,
- 42:21Speaker 1: invited me to this thing was actually it was quite amazing.
- 42:25Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, well, I mean you should know him first.
- 42:30Speaker 1: He was sing it and he didn't really invite me.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I actually sent him a text and asked if he
- 42:34Speaker 1: could get me in. So that's different, right, but uh,
- 42:40Speaker 1: it's called One Israel the One Israel Fund. Anyway, So
- 42:44Speaker 1: I said to Rachel, you know what I'm coming in.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I'm just going to spend the night. I'm fucking paying
- 42:50Speaker 1: for it. Okay. She's like, what do you mean. She's like, Mom,
- 42:52Speaker 1: I don't, like, I don't have room for that. I'm like,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I know you have room because I bought you the
- 42:56Speaker 1: Queen size bed, so I know that there's room and
- 42:59Speaker 1: I'm paying for half your rent. And she's like, but
- 43:02Speaker 1: I'm just saying, Mom, that's fine, But like I'm going
- 43:04Speaker 1: to be facetiming and like I don't sleep well and
- 43:06Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna get high before I go to bed,
- 43:09Speaker 1: and I just want times. I'm thinking, what is happening
- 43:11Speaker 1: right now? I nobody helped me pay my rent. There
- 43:15Speaker 1: was no one who was like picking out Linnet I took,
- 43:18Speaker 1: I'm telling you, from each department. I could take a
- 43:19Speaker 1: big hefty bag and I put it in the cab
- 43:22Speaker 1: and I go to the next place that I could afford.
- 43:24Speaker 3: It was none of this.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I would have paid top dollar for. See you at
- 43:27Speaker 2: the camera okay, getting out of your little hovel.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Okay, your bag.
- 43:30Speaker 2: It was exactly what it was.
- 43:31Speaker 1: I'm not kidding. And then my son is just he
- 43:34Speaker 1: looks at me like I'm saying something so inappropriate, like
- 43:36Speaker 1: what do you mean you're going to stay here? Like
- 43:38Speaker 1: that is so weird. And he's in law school, so
- 43:41Speaker 1: we're paying a lot of his for a lot of his.
- 43:44Speaker 1: It's all wrong, and I got nowhere to go. I
- 43:46Speaker 1: want to come back.
- 43:47Speaker 3: I want to come back as a fest kid.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Yes, exactly, thank you. That's what I tell them all
- 43:51Speaker 1: the time.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I could afford the three hundred dollars hotel tonight.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I know we're very rich, that's true.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Well, if I could say when I had a small
- 43:58Speaker 2: soho apart, when I first knew here, I had my
- 44:02Speaker 2: mom stay with me. My dad would stay with me,
- 44:04Speaker 2: but I wouldn't my mentality. My parents didn't have money
- 44:08Speaker 2: like that, so they either were visiting me and staying
- 44:11Speaker 2: with me, or they weren't visiting at all. Right, right,
- 44:13Speaker 2: so I guess it. You know, I would feel terrible
- 44:15Speaker 2: if I like, mom, you can't stay at mean, like,
- 44:17Speaker 2: of course.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Your mother obviously did something right, and I have done
- 44:20Speaker 1: a lot of things wrong, something went very It.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Took some time for this. I had to humble myself
- 44:24Speaker 2: and actually like, look, you have a.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Nice thing with your parents. I like seeing them on
- 44:29Speaker 1: the show with you. Thank you really nice and so
- 44:31Speaker 1: do you from.
- 44:32Speaker 2: What I remember Jesse's parents, it's awesome show the mom's Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 2: support us.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I love that I live in somewhat of a hovel
- 44:39Speaker 3: right now, you do. I'm not embarrassed to say.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I think that's a there's a song in there, Jesse Solomon?
- 44:44Speaker 1: What is wait? What's the first song? What would Jesse saw?
- 44:46Speaker 1: Where does Jesse Solomon live?
- 44:48Speaker 3: That's an apartment in Williamsburg, the roommate and it's big
- 44:52Speaker 3: and spacious.
- 44:53Speaker 1: But it's like old Okay, but just by definition, you
- 44:56Speaker 1: don't live in a hobble. You just said big and spacious.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's not ship. It's like a Brooklyn.
- 45:01Speaker 2: It looks like a Brooklyn y kind of a factory.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Actually makes it look sketchy. Yeah. What do you guys do?
- 45:18Speaker 3: Well? I know what you do.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Carl and I we're going to talk about I want
- 45:20Speaker 1: to talk about softbar. But Jesse, so you are pursuing acting,
- 45:24Speaker 1: singing the arts, right?
- 45:26Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:27Speaker 3: I would love to release an album this year's cool.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I'm going to Yes, I've been recording music.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I have this.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's been so fun and I think it sounds
- 45:36Speaker 3: great and everybody have shown it to really likes it.
- 45:38Speaker 2: So I hope people like it as much as I do.
- 45:41Speaker 2: And uh, what is it?
- 45:42Speaker 1: What kind of music?
- 45:44Speaker 3: It's kind of like electronic pop funk, like there's I'm
- 45:50Speaker 3: trying it all, I'm seeing what I like.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I love that you were studying this and you didn't
- 45:54Speaker 1: just come up with it on summer House like this
- 45:56Speaker 1: was actually Yeah, you didn't think wow like a lot
- 45:59Speaker 1: of us do. Now I could be a pop star
- 46:00Speaker 1: like I did when I picked up the guitar.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Yeah, So hopefully it's work out that way.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Yeah, because I know I understand music. I work for
- 46:08Speaker 3: Amazon Live. I've got this consistent Amazon Live gig, which
- 46:11Speaker 3: has been great because it's kind of like honing in
- 46:13Speaker 3: my hosting chops.
- 46:15Speaker 2: I just like doing it.
- 46:16Speaker 1: What do you sell?
- 46:18Speaker 2: Yesterday? I did one with my mom for like a
- 46:20Speaker 2: holiday gift exchange. I did a spa day.
- 46:23Speaker 3: It was like all cosmetics face stuff felt like page
- 46:27Speaker 3: to soorbo. Yeah, just anything that boys or girlfriends will
- 46:32Speaker 3: buy for their boyfriends.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I love that. Oh I just had a question run
- 46:36Speaker 1: through my head that I'm not going to say, and
- 46:37Speaker 1: you should thank me for it.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Oh, thanks, welcome and yeah, and then we do brand
- 46:41Speaker 3: deals obviously, which you're super great.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Is this for I don't know if it's still like
- 46:45Speaker 1: this for you cross for me it is. I just
- 46:46Speaker 1: did Jersey for two years and who knows if I'm
- 46:48Speaker 1: ever going to again. But it was such an adventure,
- 46:51Speaker 1: like it was like what is happening? And especially when
- 46:53Speaker 1: I was fifty three when they cast me on it,
- 46:55Speaker 1: and I was like, how is this to this day?
- 46:58Speaker 1: Up like that, like what is happening? People come up
- 46:59Speaker 1: to me and they're like, oh my god, I take
- 47:00Speaker 1: a picture. I'm like, fuck, yeah, you want to take
- 47:02Speaker 1: a picture with me? Yeah, you could absolutely do that, right,
- 47:06Speaker 1: And like, I don't know, after all this time, I'm
- 47:08Speaker 1: sure for because I've had I've seen some of my
- 47:10Speaker 1: cast they get so bombarded, right, and I get it.
- 47:13Speaker 1: And so I see one particular member of my cast
- 47:16Speaker 1: who will go nameless or me nameless, hide once in
- 47:19Speaker 1: an airport behind a plant because she didn't want to deal.
- 47:23Speaker 2: With like all of the pants I understand the airport
- 47:25Speaker 2: and she.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Really got buried like she was she was wigging out
- 47:28Speaker 1: a little. But I guess what I'm asking is, are
- 47:30Speaker 1: you still well, Jesse? Are you still glowing from this? Like?
- 47:33Speaker 1: Holy shit? Well, how did this happen to me?
- 47:36Speaker 3: I feel bad when people come up to me and
- 47:38Speaker 3: say like, I'm so sorry, I don't want to bother you.
- 47:41Speaker 3: I'm like, no, this is awesome that people want to
- 47:44Speaker 3: say hi to me, and like, you know, you go
- 47:46Speaker 3: out to a bar. The point of going out is
- 47:47Speaker 3: to be social. So I would rather have people who
- 47:50Speaker 3: like me and want to talk to me come up
- 47:52Speaker 3: to me and say hi, and you meet people, right,
- 47:54Speaker 3: So no, I still like it obviously when you're like
- 47:57Speaker 3: in an airport or you're destryed.
- 47:58Speaker 1: But I mean, the whole idea of this, theat that
- 48:00Speaker 1: you're famous now, is that just blow your Does it
- 48:02Speaker 1: blow your mind?
- 48:02Speaker 3: Still?
- 48:03Speaker 2: I don't consider myself famous.
- 48:04Speaker 1: I say that to I'm not you are, I'm not.
- 48:06Speaker 1: But whatever, there's a difference.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's wild.
- 48:10Speaker 3: The craziest thing for me is just the cancer survivors
- 48:13Speaker 3: and people going through health issues. And Carl has the
- 48:15Speaker 3: same thing with the sober community. But just the fact
- 48:19Speaker 3: that I can impact somebody's life just by sharing my
- 48:22Speaker 3: story and being open and the messages and what people
- 48:25Speaker 3: say to me when they meet me is like like
- 48:27Speaker 3: you help me get through this, and it's like such
- 48:29Speaker 3: a heartwarming thing.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, what about you. It's not that deep for you.
- 48:35Speaker 1: You just like the attention, right, No, it is.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Actually I know it's for some time. I mean, I
- 48:41Speaker 2: will say, like to your point, I mean, I'm it's
- 48:43Speaker 2: amazing when people come up to you. I actually joke
- 48:45Speaker 2: with them. I go the moment this stops happening is
- 48:47Speaker 2: when I'm like, fuck right. I've always appreciated when people
- 48:50Speaker 2: come up because what Jesse said, like, yeah, a fair
- 48:52Speaker 2: amount of people have approached me and expressed you've helped
- 48:56Speaker 2: me get through something really difficult, or you inspired me
- 48:58Speaker 2: to make a change, or a sibling who was struggling.
- 49:01Speaker 2: I've had some I've had people stop me on the
- 49:03Speaker 2: street and give me hugs, and it still that blows
- 49:06Speaker 2: me away. And I still do shock that I've made
- 49:09Speaker 2: any impact on anyone. You know, I've shown you what
- 49:12Speaker 2: not to do.
- 49:14Speaker 1: So yeah, but guess what, But should it be said that.
- 49:17Speaker 2: What keeps me energized and excited about what we get
- 49:21Speaker 2: to do here. Yes, you open your lives up. There's
- 49:23Speaker 2: a lot of things that are uncomfortable sometimes with this experience.
- 49:26Speaker 2: But if you can change one person's day or life, like,
- 49:31Speaker 2: that's what it's all about. Wow, And I I really
- 49:34Speaker 2: care deeply about that now. I wish I could be
- 49:36Speaker 2: more helpful. Honestly.
- 49:37Speaker 1: You guys are way better people than I am. I
- 49:39Speaker 1: just like being famous get early on in this.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Program, Like I've been on Summer House for nine years now. Yeah,
- 49:44Speaker 2: I know the first it wasn't always like this. The
- 49:47Speaker 2: first season, people recognize that's a little I'm tall, and
- 49:50Speaker 2: Kyle and I would were still best buddies.
- 49:52Speaker 3: We go out all the time.
- 49:53Speaker 2: But it wasn't until like the third season when it
- 49:56Speaker 2: kind of like brand deals were coming. We didn't brand
- 50:00Speaker 2: duals the first two seasons, right, we paid, We buy
- 50:03Speaker 2: our own alcohol in Summerhouse.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I heard that it's changing a little bit though, that
- 50:07Speaker 1: kind of thing, like.
- 50:07Speaker 2: It's evolved a lot, But the first three years were
- 50:10Speaker 2: just it was like a backyard football team just liking
- 50:15Speaker 2: to play football with each other. Like we didn't know
- 50:17Speaker 2: we were making a show. We didn't care. We were
- 50:18Speaker 2: just partying, letting loose and having fun and then we
- 50:22Speaker 2: go back to our regular lives.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Did you want to be famous when you were younger?
- 50:24Speaker 2: Do you have? Yeah? I always wanted to be in
- 50:26Speaker 2: front of a camera, me too.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Did you just I didn't really. Yeah, that's why I
- 50:30Speaker 3: chose to go into the music business. Rather than like
- 50:33Speaker 3: getting this singing degree and being like, I'm going to
- 50:35Speaker 3: go try to make it as a singer, I was like,
- 50:37Speaker 3: I want control over my fate. And then I had
- 50:42Speaker 3: a terrible time. I mean, I love the music business.
- 50:44Speaker 3: I worked in finance for a while. I still do
- 50:47Speaker 3: a little bit right, but it's just like it's a job.
- 50:49Speaker 3: It's a way to make money. It's not like my passion.
- 50:52Speaker 3: But I do like entertaining people, and I feel good
- 50:55Speaker 3: in front of the camera.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like I was meant to be here.
- 50:58Speaker 2: I just it's not something I always wanted. You know.
- 51:01Speaker 1: When I before I started on Jersey, I had a
- 51:04Speaker 1: long talks with my therapist. I guess they're not talks,
- 51:06Speaker 1: they were actually sessions, so I was paying for them. Yes,
- 51:11Speaker 1: I'm like her and I would go to lunch. It
- 51:12Speaker 1: wasn't like that. It was like I gave her money
- 51:14Speaker 1: and she tried to help me through my manic feelings
- 51:17Speaker 1: about going on to reality TV. But and we had
- 51:21Speaker 1: to like really look like like why am I doing this?
- 51:24Speaker 1: Why do I want to do this? And what is
- 51:27Speaker 1: the draw? Because at the draw she would say to me,
- 51:29Speaker 1: if fits money and fame doesn't really always work out
- 51:33Speaker 1: well when that is what's driving you as opposed to
- 51:35Speaker 1: what Like I so I want to I like making
- 51:37Speaker 1: people laugh. So I'm always I'm just a mess, and
- 51:39Speaker 1: I've always been a hot mess. People have always laughed
- 51:41Speaker 1: at me, and I like it. I don't care if
- 51:42Speaker 1: you're laughing with me or at me, just like I
- 51:45Speaker 1: like to make people laugh. And so that was like
- 51:47Speaker 1: part of what I wanted to do. I think I
- 51:48Speaker 1: did a better job of it on my first season.
- 51:50Speaker 1: But also, like people sometimes say to me, you can't
- 51:55Speaker 1: be this all the time, but it's like sometimes you're
- 51:56Speaker 1: the voice of reason. I was like, I like the
- 51:58Speaker 1: idea of going onto this show and like maybe saying
- 52:01Speaker 1: something I don't know that would like mediate like what
- 52:07Speaker 1: are my what is my purpose here? But like when
- 52:09Speaker 1: you think about that, you know, going on was it?
- 52:12Speaker 1: Did you think to yourself. I guess you thought this
- 52:13Speaker 1: will just be fun, but do you have do you
- 52:16Speaker 1: have ideas? Or this is going to make me famous
- 52:17Speaker 1: that's what I really want?
- 52:19Speaker 3: Or I mean, I'll say like this.
- 52:20Speaker 2: When I first discovered this, I mean, Kyle and I
- 52:23Speaker 2: had been friends. It's a true story. I was at
- 52:26Speaker 2: my dentist's office and he knows Kyle and Everett and
- 52:30Speaker 2: who were my friends. And I had heard about this
- 52:32Speaker 2: house happening and I sho to be on the show.
- 52:34Speaker 2: And I reached out to Kyle and say, yo, what
- 52:35Speaker 2: are you guys doing this summer. He's like, we're going
- 52:37Speaker 2: to do this thing. We have extra spot if you
- 52:38Speaker 2: want to join it, get out. So yeah, Like early on,
- 52:42Speaker 2: I remember talking to Kyle and his thing was, Dude,
- 52:44Speaker 2: we're already doing this anyway. We're having fun on the weekend,
- 52:47Speaker 2: we're partying. But maybe there's something that could happen with this.
- 52:50Speaker 2: We didn't know at all what that would be. But
- 52:53Speaker 2: I appreciated Kyle kind of he pushed me because I
- 52:55Speaker 2: wasn't necessarily like yeah, I goun ho. I was like,
- 52:57Speaker 2: well why and he's like, it's not all about partying,
- 53:01Speaker 2: And that stuck with me. Forever. It's a platform. It's
- 53:05Speaker 2: a party, but it's a platform, So what else could
- 53:06Speaker 2: we do with this? So I thought at that point
- 53:10Speaker 2: in my career I was in I worked for a
- 53:11Speaker 2: medical company. I was an outside sales rep. I'd been
- 53:14Speaker 2: sales rep at the year hit my quotas I was.
- 53:17Speaker 2: But also it was a job I wasn't. I didn't
- 53:21Speaker 2: want to be a career dental salesperson, so I was
- 53:24Speaker 2: willing to take a chance. I didn't have a great
- 53:25Speaker 2: relationship with my boss at the time, and I was like,
- 53:28Speaker 2: I went to school for TV and film, I had
- 53:30Speaker 2: acted and modeled. I love a mic. I like what
- 53:33Speaker 2: Jesse said. I enjoyed when I could make someone laugh
- 53:35Speaker 2: or be in front of a group, and it was
- 53:38Speaker 2: like a thing. So I was like, what could go wrong?
- 53:41Speaker 2: You know? And it to Kyle's point, he was like,
- 53:43Speaker 2: there's more to this than just getting drunk. Yeah, So
- 53:47Speaker 2: my original thing was like, let's have fun and see
- 53:49Speaker 2: what could happen.
- 53:50Speaker 1: You know, just think about how many guys your age
- 53:51Speaker 1: would they shy a waveman or would they look like
- 53:53Speaker 1: when I don't know, Jesse, how are you approached for it?
- 53:56Speaker 2: I had met Kyle.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Why are you laughing? Sorry, it's just tell me.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I was choking on my lavane cookie.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Tell me, tell me.
- 54:05Speaker 3: I had met Kyle like out in the city and
- 54:08Speaker 3: then he, I think, told the producers about me and
- 54:10Speaker 3: they messaged me on LinkedIn, and I knew of Summerhouse
- 54:15Speaker 3: because I had been to the Hamptons a lot.
- 54:19Speaker 2: So I was like, yeah, this is a popular show.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Like I'll take the call.
- 54:21Speaker 3: And I took the call, and I was like, listen,
- 54:23Speaker 3: I'm probably not going to do this because I'm about
- 54:26Speaker 3: to move back to Miami.
- 54:27Speaker 2: You know, my job is great, but like, I am
- 54:30Speaker 2: your guy for this.
- 54:31Speaker 3: I was like, I'm tall. I talked to every girl
- 54:32Speaker 3: at the bar. So I just thought, you know, it
- 54:36Speaker 3: would be good for business. Of course, like we live
- 54:39Speaker 3: in this digital world where having followers and marketing and
- 54:43Speaker 3: eyeballs and all that. But yeah, I figured just at
- 54:48Speaker 3: least sharing my cancer story would help other people going
- 54:51Speaker 3: through something similar. I thought I wasn't expecting to have
- 54:54Speaker 3: a cancer scare on national television, but you know a
- 54:58Speaker 3: lot of people have like that anxiety going into those
- 55:01Speaker 3: appointments and kind of connected it and resonated with that story.
- 55:06Speaker 3: So yeah, I just I thought it would be generally
- 55:09Speaker 3: good for like my finance career. I thought maybe I
- 55:12Speaker 3: could like launch another company. I ran a company for
- 55:15Speaker 3: four years called mickey Wow. That was a marketplace to
- 55:18Speaker 3: buy and sell commodities. So I just thought maybe I
- 55:22Speaker 3: could do like what.
- 55:23Speaker 1: You just said. I knew you said something. You did something.
- 55:25Speaker 3: We sold wood online to people and trying to punchline
- 55:29Speaker 3: to this. No, no sold what super boring business.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Yeah that sounds horrible. That was also in dental sales,
- 55:35Speaker 1: by the way.
- 55:36Speaker 3: I know, there's just so much good I had so
- 55:38Speaker 3: many good one for people.
- 55:40Speaker 2: You did.
- 55:40Speaker 3: You can't handle the tooth?
- 55:42Speaker 1: Oh god, wait all right, hold on. I feel very
- 55:47Speaker 1: out of control. It's the whole presence of these two
- 55:50Speaker 1: young men. They're too good looking, they're too charming, and
- 55:53Speaker 1: I've lost my grip on just you.
- 55:55Speaker 2: We're just talking.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I know I need to get done like you to
- 56:00Speaker 1: tell us about here.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Yeah we won't.
- 56:01Speaker 2: We don't need to take up all the time on
- 56:03Speaker 2: the software piece, but I'll you all tell.
- 56:05Speaker 1: A little bit about we would like to tell my
- 56:08Speaker 1: millions and millions of viewers. H Yes, you know, to
- 56:11Speaker 1: be successful. You came to the right place, get on
- 56:14Speaker 1: Just Jen.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Well, I'm you know, I launched a new business this
- 56:16Speaker 2: past summer, which you'll you'll see a little bit about it,
- 56:18Speaker 2: I hope, on the new season. But yeah, I'm still
- 56:21Speaker 2: working with Kyle and the lover Boy team. Very proud
- 56:24Speaker 2: of what we've built there. We launched a non alcoholic
- 56:26Speaker 2: lover Boy last year, and through launching that, I realized
- 56:30Speaker 2: there's still a huge opportunity in like an experience where
- 56:33Speaker 2: you can go and drink morning, afternoon or evening really
- 56:36Speaker 2: high quality non alcoholic drinks. So I've been you know,
- 56:40Speaker 2: putting together a team and a brand and a vision
- 56:41Speaker 2: and I built and stood up like a proper company.
- 56:44Speaker 2: So we have a four wall location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
- 56:47Speaker 2: It'll be open in this spring in May. We're still
- 56:50Speaker 2: fingers crossed, but yeah, it's all about mindful consumption. So
- 56:54Speaker 2: I didn't set out to create a sober bar, even
- 56:56Speaker 2: though that's what every person thinks I did. That's not
- 56:59Speaker 2: what I'm doing because a lot.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Now, what would be bad about doing that?
- 57:02Speaker 3: Sober bar is very niche.
- 57:05Speaker 2: It's just for sober people, and I want everybody to
- 57:07Speaker 2: come to what I'm opening up because I believe not
- 57:09Speaker 2: everybody's comfortable saying that they're sober or not. I want
- 57:12Speaker 2: every just to feel good about the quality of the
- 57:15Speaker 2: beverage and the space that's there. There are sober bars.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I go to them, but they're weird. Yeah, it's not
- 57:21Speaker 2: a place that is someone who maybe is thinking about
- 57:24Speaker 2: sobriety whatever want to go to.
- 57:25Speaker 1: It's like a meetings.
- 57:27Speaker 2: It feels like an AA and again, I love AA.
- 57:29Speaker 2: It saved my life, but I wanted to say something
- 57:32Speaker 2: that was for everyone and funny enough, I'll leave you
- 57:34Speaker 2: with this last data point. But like, statistically, the people
- 57:39Speaker 2: that still buy non alcoholic beverages ninety four percent of
- 57:42Speaker 2: sales are two people that still drink alcohol. Really, so
- 57:46Speaker 2: when you're building a company for ninety four percent or
- 57:49Speaker 2: six percent, six percent of the people that literally don't
- 57:53Speaker 2: drink at all, or the ninety six who still drink
- 57:55Speaker 2: but also buy all these products. Yeah, so that was
- 57:57Speaker 2: important to us when we're creating this kind of vision
- 58:00Speaker 2: that and that's soft bar and nutshell, but.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Is also you're not talking about the so.
- 58:05Speaker 2: We've yeah, we've got amazing like slogans and taglines.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Oh, I just think it's important because I was gifted
- 58:12Speaker 1: my favorite hat. Today, I gave Jen.
- 58:14Speaker 2: One of our really cool merchandise pieces. We do have merch,
- 58:17Speaker 2: which I will say, if you're following a brand on
- 58:20Speaker 2: Bravo or one of the people from our show or
- 58:22Speaker 2: other shows, we all launch merch because it's a huge
- 58:26Speaker 2: way to fund and support. Well, yes, for us, it's
- 58:29Speaker 2: to support our business right because merch is a way
- 58:32Speaker 2: for everybody across the country to access your brand if
- 58:35Speaker 2: you don't live in New York City or wherever your
- 58:37Speaker 2: business is. So we've been really lucky with the merch sales.
- 58:40Speaker 2: What you're wearing today, it says here, comma you are.
- 58:44Speaker 2: It's all about being present and the way the comma
- 58:46Speaker 2: and the period are integrated, being ten toes down, being present,
- 58:50Speaker 2: being mindful here that it's also I love Star Wars
- 58:54Speaker 2: and Yoda, and if you know Yoda, the way his
- 58:57Speaker 2: style of speak, he like reversus words.
- 59:01Speaker 1: But it's super I'm thinking of I was thinking of
- 59:03Speaker 1: the Big Fat One.
- 59:05Speaker 2: That's a classic, classic something Yoda would say. There is
- 59:10Speaker 2: no try only do wow.
- 59:13Speaker 1: But the way I wonder too that from Nike, or
- 59:16Speaker 1: you think you got it from Yoda.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Yoda, just do it.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Yoda is a tremendous character on film, and his quotes
- 59:22Speaker 2: and how he speaks is one of the most unique things.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Really, we are learning things.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Okay, Jess.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:30Speaker 3: The only thing I will plug is I have a
- 59:32Speaker 3: partnership with the American Cancer Society and we're about to
- 59:35Speaker 3: do a merch collab and all proceeds go to the
- 59:39Speaker 3: American Cancer Society.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Did you do one this past summer too?
- 59:42Speaker 1: That?
- 59:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 59:43Speaker 3: That was that didn't have like, it wasn't a true partnership.
- 59:48Speaker 3: I just donated some of the money to them. Okay,
- 59:50Speaker 3: but this is like their logo, my logo WWJSD.
- 59:57Speaker 1: So Solomon, we do do what would look coming together
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: for me? Now? So I'm going to ask this. I
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: hope they don't embarrass myself. And I'm assuming right now
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: you are cancer free.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Yeah, thank god, thank god.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Okay, I'm so happy to hear that.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Knock on my one nut. Yeah, knock on wood.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I knew a guy with one nut.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: I liked him.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: You like me back?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: I liked him just fine.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: No, I thought one was plenty.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Problem I got too, if you count the fake one.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: They give you fake nuts.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I just woke up and I was like, did
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I get a fake get the.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Hell out of here?
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Really? Yeah?
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Why women love nuts that much? Or men love nuts?
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I guess for the men, right.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: It's like, for like, if you looked at my schmeckel,
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: you wouldn't be like, oh, that guy is one nut,
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: but if you have only one, it kind of like
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: hangs in the got it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it gives it more of a symmetrical Yes,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: there's nothing wearing one shoe and not wearing one shoe.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Okay, I can hear that. I don't know. I'll tell
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you I like the guy. I should write a song.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I liked a guy with one nut and he didn't
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: like me back.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: That's powerful.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: That is powerful.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Well, I will say I really having Jesse's share. I
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: didn't know obviously his story fully until after he shared that.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: But for someone who's also shared some very personal things
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: and you know, some challenging moments in our life, I
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: really appreciated him not only sharing that for the group
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: and getting to know him better, but also with the
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: impact he could have on the people that watch our show.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: And I see it on social and I see what
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: he's done. And we did an event you'll see on
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: the new season it's just powerful, Like we were with
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: cancer survivors and people that I mean, they're fighting really hard,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: and he's using his platform and his story to not
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: only help other people but inspire other people. Because it's
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: this happens in sobriety too, when you see someone else
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: who's gotten through something or already entered the door you're
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: about to enter, and it gives them a little bit
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: of confidence and faith that they can get through it too.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: And I know he's done that for people. Yeah, and listen,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: my story is a happy one. It has a happy ending,
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: and not everybody is so lucky. So we just try
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: to do what we can to kind of inspire hope.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: And I have one of my best friends past of
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: ovarian cancer going back quite a few years ago, thank you.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: And but I have a friend who will be fine,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: thank God, is fighting cancer. Net cancer sucks and it
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: just changes everything. And I'm proud of you, proud of
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: you happy.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: I mean, he's literally saying, he's say doing that and
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: it's massive. So yes, love you, brother, I love you, brother,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I appreciate it. I have a couple of questions for you, Jim.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Oh good, I love that really Yeah, Oh my goodness, what.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Do you look? Yeah? Go for it? Who is what
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: is your Who is your favorite person on Bravo besides
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Andy Khen? Do you watch other Bravo shows?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I watch every No, that's not true.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: I don't watch every besides Summerhouse?
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: What other like?
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: What's your favorite?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Not including Summerhouse? Not including Okay, because you know we
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: were gonna yeah, knew you to say it wasn't going
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: to be you. But I love you to death, Jesse.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: But I have a special place in my heart for this.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: He was just so sad looking at the Belta Lounge.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Hey, I'm a diamond medallion. Now are you watching?
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Which is weird because I have a house. We have
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: a house in Charleston, So I don't know why I
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: don't watch Southern.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Charm, But I do you watch like Salt Lake?
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I am obsessed.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: It's pretty fire.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: You guys both watch it? Do you watch House at all?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Only Salt Lake? For whatever reason?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Remind me not not to self. Don't buy Jesse.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Back on that. I've seen some Jersey check out. It's okay,
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: I gotta go to peak.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I didn't see the song, No, I got to watch. Yeah,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I didn't know a song yeah, okay, anyway, sorry, so
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: my favorite person.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Like character, it doesn't necessarily you have to be something
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: friends with him. Just wondering who entertains you the most,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: son Bravo.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Oh my god. I mean there's just like it's so,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: you know, who I really love. I don't know if
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: she's entertains me, but who I want to come back
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: as Lisa vander Pump. I would. I used to just
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: watch her and think, First of all, she looked do
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you guys know who Jacqueline Smith is? There's this look
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: about Lisa right well, but there's this look about Lisa
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: vander Pump with her with the hair and the I
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: think she is so funny and so beautiful and so
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: she had a royal thing. Absolutely, it is very funny
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: and cool and cool and self deprecating and like just
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I just I want to say I aspire to a
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Lisa Vanderpump. So, now if you're asking me who do
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I like love, that's like currently on. I mean, I
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: love all those Salt Lake girls. They are amazing, They're funny,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: they are so okay, all right, let's you know what
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: the truth is. And I didn't love this person until
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: my producer from Jersey told me how much he loved
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: this person and he convinced me. So, I don't know.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: It was weird. It's like, don't you get it? Don't
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: like I wasn't really getting her. Lisa Barlowe effing love her.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I think she is so do you know who she is?
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I met her at the fan fest shoes funny.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: She is so because she I like people that make
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: no apologies and it's like so cliche, be authentic, but
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: it's true, Like Lisa is she doesn't get like this
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: is who she is and she is a snob and
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: she is a brat and she owns it and she
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: doesn't like she's not mean, but she can't help it.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Like I'm sorry, I broke up, beautiful, what do you
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: want from me? Like that's just who I am?
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: And commercial with them, and I had met Lisa a
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: little bit, but not you know, I didn't have any
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: kind of great experience, not bad or anything. But they
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: were telling me how amazing Lisa was. Yeah, and had
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: so much fun doing the Wendy's commercial. Really, and I
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: saw it and it's a funny commercial. It's like Lisa's
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: the therapist and Kyle Emander in like a counseling office
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: for a it's a Wendy's.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: Ad they did.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: I mean Lisa was great. Kyle Amanda were great too,
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: so they raved about her after that.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: My producer, so his name, well he's not producing my
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: show anymore because there's no show, but his name is
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Chris de Rosa, and he's just you guys know how
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: you get with the producer sometimes where you just I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: fell so madly in love with Chris de Rosa. He
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: was like my person. And he was like, you know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a young guy, thirty something, and I'm calling him like
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: a little bitch, like every all day, every day, like
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: whining about stuff, and.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Well I do. I was a little bit.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: See fifty six year o women they're just like you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: So but he's fifty.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I think I like Jesse better than calling.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: I haven't brought up age at all. I just say
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: thank you, thank you, thank you. That's impossible.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: So okay, So but like I love him. What was
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: my part? Oh? But he was so nervous. He told
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: me the first time he met Lisa Barlow, this is
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: a guy who produced all of Old New York. This
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: is a producer that has done his like he's been
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: there he knows everybody. He said he started shaking when
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: he met Lisa Barlow. He became so overwhelmed. And think
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: about it, we're like and study. We didn't go to
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: act I went to acting school, but like we didn't.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: This is not one of the actors. People don't get that.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: You don't get so I did go. I wasn't a
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: good actress. But but I'm saying, like people get like shaken,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you know. And so when he told me that, that's
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: when I sort of like looked at her differently, And
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: now I'm just obsessed. I love her? Who is yours?
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Who is your favorites?
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: I've really enjoyed a couple of different people. One I also,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: I actually really like I'm not gonna I think Madison
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: on Southern Charm has been very enjoyable.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Does she know that you feel this way?
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: I mean we're friendly, Oh, we've.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Friendly, friends, are friendly?
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: She's married.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Oh okay, sorry sorry Madisine.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: No, that is cool.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Like I think she's funny on Southern Charms.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Got it?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: She she has a she can deliver some some real
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: good stuff. And then trying to think who else that's
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: I mean Kyle Cook on Summerhouse always so I had.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: He's a perfect example of somebody that I watching the
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: show and I can't. I didn't watch it consistently, but
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I've enough to know who Kyle is and then meeting him.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I met him at Jen Guyser. There was dinner honoring
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Jen Guyser. Kyle was there and that was such a
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: different experience, like meeting him as opposed to being a viewer.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I like that kid. He's he's so he was so sweet.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Kyle's great and you might get some he has like
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: a lot of he's a lot of fun. I mean,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I would argue he's the most fun person I've ever
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: partied with.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: And he brings a lot to what we do. He
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: likes to talk about business, so he has that other
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: great side conversationalist.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Yeah really great.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Yeah, well you don't see you don't watch Housewives name
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: do you watch any other Brava.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: I watched last season of Southern Charm. I watched last
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: season of Southern Hospitality. Okay, I mean we're friendly with Craig, but.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I like people any girls on any of the other
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: shows that you.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I'm close with Shena. I love Sena and I love Brock.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: I've always been oh yeah, Tom Schwartz. Yeah, people seem
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: to hate him. I love How do you hate that?
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Guys like the nicest, kindest people I haven't watched texted me.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: He's like, hey, but I just bought some softbar merch.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: I just want to let you know. It's like thanks,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: I would have sent you to like he bought it, Like.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I have to tell you, like I never get when
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: people like do that, they start to hit. But that guy,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: he's like a Wes Wilson, Like you feel like you
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: just want to pet him. He's the cutest little things.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Great. I like Tom a lot. I think there must
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: be a reason he did. He must have done something bad.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: I mean, sometimes it's the company you keep around you
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: that can be a reflection of you sometimes.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but any girls on any of the shows that
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: you want to meet, there's one.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: There's a girl in the valley that's dropped dead gorgeous.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: I think, really, I think I'm married.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: She is married, but she's just gorgeous. She was she
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: was a pageant.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Miss.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I ask if you want to meet them? So now
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: you want me to You want to meet a woman
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: who's married? No, I thought you said who yet, Yes,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: you want to meet them.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: I'm actually trying to branch outside of the Bravos here
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: a little bit more.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: That's my boy, so you know, that's my boy and
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I dated a.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Little bit in the network, So it's good to Yes,
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Jesse is learning what it's like dating within the show.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Jesse, do you go to Bravo Con last year?
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: No?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Oh, they are going to eat you up alive.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: That's what people said about FanFest and nobody ate me.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: FanFest is not the same thing. What hold on? Okay, wait,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: let me just readjust okay, we're not going to play.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: I wasn't even there, so I heard about it looked fun.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: But oh yeah it was a lot of Miami cast.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Like housewives actually want to like hook up with the
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: summerhouse boy.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: There's more than just housewives, first of all, No, I
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: mean do I think that maybe, yes.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: Yes, there are some I've had over my years on
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: being in this network. I've had there are housewives that
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: are no longer on the Housewives shows, but I've been
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: out late at night with or listen.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I mean I think that there are when housewives are single.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: You didn't used to be right, these have to be married. Well,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Bethany I guess wasn't. But like, if you're going to
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Brava Khan and there are these gorgeous young men there,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: the answer is yes, they want to hook up with
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: summerhouse boys. I don't they want to marry them or
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you know, have babies with them.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm kind of like, I don't know. It's
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: if you're in the same world a little bit. It
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: almost kind of gives like a co sign, Yeah, like
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: you're okay, it can't be that bad. Yeah, he's in
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: the Bravo world too, but be careful because they're the crossover.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: I'll give you an example back in you know, twenty sixteen,
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: when first film the first season a Summerhouse. That's when
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: we met the Vanner Pump. Sheena and I were friendly,
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: and then I hung out with her again in twenty seventeen.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: But like that got like publicly picked up that we
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: had hung out.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: And did you I mean, I don't know. Now it's
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: like you is hanging out having sex.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Well, I we didn't actually have sex, but I said
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: we hook up, but everybody assumed that was sex and
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: then it was a whole thing.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: But she and I were cool.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: But what I'm getting at is that was publicized outside
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: of Van or Pump's show and Summerhouse's show. It was
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: just public that shit, of course, so you have like
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: it just created more stuff. I mean it wasn't on purpose.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: I never We had a late night at a bar
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: in New York and then went home together in it.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: From there, people are like asking, what's going on with
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: Karl and Chena? But I was back in like twenty seventeen,
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: twenty eighteen, and.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: What is going on with Carl?
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: And we're still friends? But she got married and all that.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: But it's just funny.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: How is there anyone any of the show.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Across across show hookups can blow up outside of that too.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Listen, I think that's part of the fun, right You
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: kind of want that.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Little I think some people do. But I have to
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: learn dating inside this world can be very polarizing and
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: challenging something. Yeah, I totally underestimated how hard it would be.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, I share.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: I have a lot of respect for the husbands and wives,
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: the Kyle's, the amandas who put it all out there.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: But also it stays strong. I mean it's not easy.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: No, it's not any regrets about this past season specifically, m.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: You know, I do I do something that I apologize
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: for profusely, but.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it wasn't anything that was, in my opinion, so
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: unforgivable that.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Well was it another people's minds very unforgive.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: No, it'll be okay, Yeah, it'll be fodder for It'll
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: be fodder for a bit, but okay. The short term
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: memory of a lot of this has actually been pretty
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: surprising to me, just because I, you know, I put
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: a lot out there and people remember me for certain
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: things and then literally forget, like things that I thought
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: are very obvious about me.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: It just is what it is.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I want to imagine. I also like going back and
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: now with you and the woman who will whose name
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Remi rhymes with Schnindsey. So that person, like, what is
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: it like to had to know and have in your
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: head that you're gonna have to go and be back
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: in that space? And I've done that for Wes and
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: he was with that beautiful woman for a very lunch
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: you know, Blitz.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Well, one thing the difference is this, I was friends
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: with Lindsay for many years before we got together, so
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: we had a foundation of friendship. Oh right, remembering from
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: twenty sixteen, I met Lindsay and very close as friends
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: and continue to be very close friends. Then obviously we
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: started dating, so I had a lot of time and
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: I still care about her and wish the best for her.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: So I a weird cares about you and whisch is
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: the best for you?
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: No, No, that's that's why. That's why I pray for
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: her though you know I want, I hope. That's how
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: I release everything for me is by offering grace and
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: praying for her because I really do want the best
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: for her, and that's how I can go live my
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: life now. Just give her a little bit of you know,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: wish you the best, and then go focus on what
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: I got to get. Didn't she say in the trail,
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: She's like, I don't want well, anybody who says that.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Is the person you pray for, you're a better man
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: than I am.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: It's I have a sponsor, I work, I worked steps.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: I talk about emotions and resentments and things that ultimately
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: confess her and build up in your body, and it's
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: important for me to address it. I'm not saying I'm
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: not perfect at all, but when it comes to like
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: a breakup.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: And normal and then in the world as we know it.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: You don't go back and live in the summerhouse with
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the with the ex fiance. I mean, there's nothing easy
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: makes for great TV.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Well, I was again, I had a lot of good friendships.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: My best friends are all in this house. Yes, it's
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: very it was unique, but I think after the first
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: you'll see, after the first kind of it, we kind
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: of like Captain Nevin and.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how it happened. I don't
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: know what happened with West and Sierra and now Jesse.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I have a feeling that I know who is going
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: to be your love interest just from that little trailer.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: But like, are you now okay? You know what, I'm
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: not gonna even do it because you probably can't talk
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: about it and I'm not that kind of podcast host. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: so we're gonna left anyway, what's her name?
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: You'll see me date Lexi on the show, and she
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: is a great girl.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I'll let you know about that. Because now I have
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: to be team Jesse. I got to get some girls
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: in here, you guys.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: We got a books girls, the other the other half
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: of the crew and the other girls.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I would love that. I would love to get Kyle
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: on also love you both. Thank you again. Happy happy
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Merry Christmas, Wanda, whatever it is that you celebrate, Happy
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: New Years. Bye guys, thanks for listening.
